It is narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "To say 'Subhan Allahi wa bi hamdihi, la ilaha illallah, wallahu akbar' is more beloved to me than all that upon which the sun rises."
حضرت ابوہریرہ (رض) سے روایت ہے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ جناب رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : ” اگر میں سُبْحَانَ اللہِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّہِ ، وَلاَ إلَہَ إِلاَّ اللَّہُ ، وَاللَّہُ أَکْبَرُ کہوں تو یہ مجھے ہر اس چیز سے زیادہ محبوب ہے جس پر سورج طلوع ہوتا ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (RA) se riwayat hai woh kehte hain keh Janaab Rasul Allah (SAW) ne irshad farmaya: "Agar main Subhan Allahi wal hamdu lillahi, wa la ilaha illal lahu, wallahu akbar kahon to yeh mujhe har us cheez se ziada mehboob hai jis par sooraj talu hota hai."
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Two words are light on the tongue, heavy on the Scale, and beloved to the Most Merciful: 'Subhana Allahi wa bi hamdihi, Subhana Allahi 'l-azim (Glory be to Allah and praise be to Him, Glory be to Allah, the Most Great).'"
حضرت ابوہریرہ (رض) سے روایت ہے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ جناب رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : ” دو کلمے ایسے ہیں جو زبان پر ہلکے، میزان میں بھاری اور رحمن کو محبوب ہیں یعنی سُبْحَانَ اللہِ وَبِحَمْدِہِ ، سُبْحَانَ اللہِ الْعَظِیمِ ۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (RA) se riwayat hai woh kehte hain ke Janab Rasul Allah (SAW) ne irshad farmaya: "Do kalme aise hain jo zuban per halke, mizan mein bhari aur Rahman ko mehboob hain yani Subhan Allahi Wa Bihamdihi, Subhan Allahil Azeem."
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Abdullah that he said: "If I say Subhan Allah Walhamdulillah Wa La Ilaha Illallah Wallahu Akbar, it is more beloved to me than spending Dinars in the way of Allah equal to their count."
حضرت عبداللہ سے روایت ہے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں اگر سُبْحَانَ اللہِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّہِ ، وَلاَ إلَہَ إِلاَّ اللَّہُ اور اللَّہُ أَکْبَرُ کہوں تو یہ مجھے اس بات سے زیادہ محبوب ہے کہ میں ان کی تعداد کے بقدر راہ خدا میں دینار خرچ کروں۔
Hazrat Abdullah se riwayat hai wo kehte hain ke main agar Subhan Allahi Walhamdulillahi Wala ilaha illallahu aur Allahu Akbaru kahun to ye mujhe is baat se zyada mahboob hai ke main in ki tadaad ke baqadr raah Khuda mein dinar kharch karun.
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Sabit Banani that he said: "One of the companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) narrated to me this hadith near this pillar. He said: 'Whoever says Subhanallahi wa bihamdihi wa astaghfirullah wa atubu ilaih, it is written for him in a paper, then a seal of musk is placed on it. It will not be broken until the Day of Judgment when that person will be given its full reward.'"
حضرت ثابت بنانی سے روایت ہے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ جناب رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ساتھیوں میں سے ایک نے مجھے اس ستون کے پاس یہ حدیث بیان کی۔ اس نے کہا : جو آدمی سُبْحَانَ اللہِ وَبِحَمْدِہِ وَأَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّہَ وَأَتُوبُ إلَیْہِ کہتا ہے تو اس کو ایک کاغذ میں لکھ دیا جاتا ہے پھر اس پر مشک کی ایک مہر لگا دی جاتی ہے۔ اس کو قیامت کے دن تک توڑا جائے گا جب اس آدمی کو اس کا پورا بدلہ دے دیا جائے گا۔
Hazrat Sabit Banani se riwayat hai woh kehte hain ke janab rasool Allah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) ke saathiyon mein se aik ne mujhe iss satoon ke paas yeh hadees bayaan ki. Usne kaha: Jo aadmi subhan Allahi wa bihamdihi wa astaghfirullah wa atobu ilayhi kehta hai toh usko aik kaghaz mein likh diya jata hai phir us par mushk ki aik mohar laga di jati hai. Usko qayamat ke din tak tora jayega jab us aadmi ko uska poora badla de diya jayega.
It is narrated from Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said, "If I were to utter these words, they would be more beloved to me than if I were to give away in the cause of Allah a number of bridled horses equal to the number of these words."
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمرو سے روایت ہے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ اگر میں یہ کلمات کہوں تو یہ مجھے اس سے زیادہ محبوب ہیں کہ میں ان کی تعداد کے بقدر لگام لگے ہوئے گھوڑوں کو (راہِ خدا میں) بھیجوں۔
Hazrat Abdullah bin Amro se riwayat hai woh kehte hain ke agar main yeh kalmat kahun to yeh mujhe is se ziada mehboob hain ke main in ki tadaad ke barabar lagaam lage hue ghoron ko (rah e khuda mein) bhejun.
It is narrated from Hazrat Ubayd bin Umair that one glorification of Allah in the book of a believer is better than mountains of gold moving with him or against him.
حضرت عبید بن عمیر سے روایت ہے کہ مومن کے صحیفہ میں خدا کی حمد کی ایک تسبیح اس سے بہتر ہے کہ اس کے ساتھ سونے کے پہاڑ چلیں یا بہیں۔
Hazrat Ubaid bin Umair se riwayat hai ki momin ke sahifa mein khuda ki hamd ki aik tasbeeh us se behtar hai ki uske sath sone ke pahad chalen ya bahen.
Hazrat Waleed narrates about Abu Al Haws that I heard Abu Al Haws say, "In pursuit of a need, a Tasbeeh is better than a milk-giving, selected she-camel that can be acquired in a year of severe drought."
حضرت ولید، ابوالاحوص کے بارے میں روایت کرتے ہیں وہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے ابوالاحوص کو کہتے سنا۔ حاجت کی طلب میں ایک تسبیح دودھ والی منتخب اونٹنی سے بہتر ہے جو شدت والے سال میں مہیا ہو۔
Hazrat Waleed, Abu Al Ahwas ke bare mein riwayat karte hain woh kehte hain ke maine Abu Al Ahwas ko kehte suna. Hajat ki talab mein ek tasbeeh doodh wali muntakhib oonthni se behtar hai jo shiddat wale saal mein muhayya ho.
Hazrat Ubayd said that I should recite some tasbihat. This is more beloved to me than spending dinars in the way of Allah equal to their count.
حضرت عبید فرماتے ہیں کہ میں چند تسبیحات کرلوں یہ مجھے اس سے زیادہ محبوب ہے کہ میں ان کی گنتی کے بقدر راہ خدا میں دینار خرچ کروں۔
Hazrat Obaid farmate hain keh mein chand tasbihat kar loon yeh mujhe iss se ziada mehboob hai keh mein in ki ginti ke baqadr raah khuda mein dinar kharch karoon.
Hazrat Musab bin Saad narrates that when a person says Subhan Allah, the angels say "Wabihamdihi" (And with His praise). And when a person says "Subhan Allahi Wabihamdihi" (Glory be to Allah, and with His praise), the angels pray for mercy for him.
حضرت مصعب بن سعد فرماتے ہیں جب بندہ سُبْحَانَ اللہِ کہتا ہے تو فرشتے وَبِحَمْدِہِ کہتے ہیں اور جب بندہ سُبْحَانَ اللہِ وَبِحَمْدِہِ کہتا ہے تو فرشتے اس کے لیے رحمت کی دعا کرتے ہیں۔
Hazrat Musab bin Saad farmate hain jab banda Subhan Allahi kehta hai to farishte wa bihamdihi kehte hain aur jab banda Subhan Allahi wa bihamdihi kehta hai to farishte uske liye rehmat ki dua karte hain.
It is narrated from Hadrat Abu Saeed that he said that when a servant says Alhamdulillah many times, the angel says: How should I write it down? Allah says: Write for him My abundant mercy, and when the servant says Subhanallah many times, the angel says: How should I write it down? Allah says: Write for him My abundant mercy, and when the servant says Allahu Akbar Kabira, the angel says: How should I write it down? Allah says: Write for him My great mercy.
حضرت ابوسعید سے روایت ہے وہ کہتے ہیں جب بندہ الْحَمْدُ لِلَّہِ کَثِیرًا کہتا ہے تو فرشتہ کہتا ہے۔ میں (اس کو) کیسے لکھوں ؟ اللہ فرماتے ہیں تم اس کو میری کثیر رحمت لکھو اور جب بندہ کہتا ہے سُبْحَانَ اللہِ کَثِیرًا۔ تو فرشتہ کہتا ہے میں کیسے لکھوں ؟ اللہ فرماتے ہیں تم اس کے لیے میری کثیر رحمت لکھو۔ اور جب بندہ کہتا ہے اللہ اکبر کبیرا۔ فرشتہ کہتا ہے میں کیسے لکھوں ؟ اللہ فرماتے ہیں تم اس کے لیے میری بڑی رحمت لکھو۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed se riwayat hai woh kehte hain jab banda Alhamdulillah kaseeran kehta hai to farishta kehta hai main is ko kaise likhun Allah farmate hain tum is ko meri kaseer rehmat likho aur jab banda kehta hai Subhan Allah kaseeran to farishta kehta hai main kaise likhun Allah farmate hain tum is ke liye meri kaseer rehmat likho aur jab banda kehta hai Allah Akbar kabira farishta kehta hai main kaise likhun Allah farmate hain tum is ke liye meri badi rehmat likho
It is narrated from Hazrat Amr bin Maimoon that he said, is there anyone among you who is unable to recite tasbeeh a hundred times so that he may get a thousand rewards?
حضرت عمرو بن میمون سے روایت ہے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ کیا تم میں سے کوئی ایک اس بات سے عاجز ہے کہ وہ ایک سو مرتبہ تسبیح پڑھے کہ اس کے لیے ہزار نیکیاں ہوں۔
Hazrat Amr bin Maimoon se riwayat hai woh kehte hain ke kya tum mein se koi aik is baat se aajiz hai ke woh ek sau martaba tasbeeh parhe ke uske liye hazaar nekiyan hon.
It is narrated on the authority of Abdullah bin Abi Aufa that a man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said that he was unable to learn anything from the Quran and asked him (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to teach him something which may suffice for (the recitation of) the Quran. He (the Holy Prophet) said to him: "Recite: `Glory be to Allah, and praise be to Allah, and there is no god but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest, and there is no might and no power except with Allah.`
حضرت عبداللہ بن ابی اوفی سے روایت ہے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ جناب نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس ایک آدمی آیا۔ اس نے یہ ذکر کیا کہ وہ قرآن سے کچھ نہیں لے سکتا اور اس نے آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے کسی ایسی چیز کا سوال کیا جو قرآن کی طرف سے کفایت کرجائے۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اس کو کہا : ” تم کہو ! سُبْحَانَ اللہِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّہِ ، وَلاَ إلَہَ إِلاَّ اللَّہُ وَاللَّہُ أَکْبَرُ ، وَلاَ حَوْلَ وَلاَ قُوَّۃَ إِلاَّ بِاللہِ ۔
Hazrat Abdullah bin Abi Aufa se riwayat hai woh kehte hain ke janab nabi kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke paas ek aadmi aaya. usne yeh zikar kiya ke woh quran se kuch nahi le sakta aur usne aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se kisi aisi cheez ka sawal kiya jo quran ki taraf se kafaayat kar jaye. Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne usko kaha: "Tum kaho! Subhan Allah Walhamdulillah Wala ilaha illAllah Wallahu Akbar Wala hawla wala quwwata illa billah"
It is narrated on the authority of Hadhrat Numan bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever recites the tasbihat, tahmeed and tahleel of Allah out of fear of Allah, these tasbiحات will continue to hover around the Throne. These tasbiحات will have a buzzing sound like that of honey bees. They will continue to remember their reader. Would any one of you not like to have something near the Most Merciful that would constantly remember him?".
حضرت نعمان بن بشیر سے روایت ہے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ جناب رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : ” جو لوگ ہیبت خداوندی کی وجہ سے خدا کی تسبیح، تحمید اور تہلیل پڑھتے ہیں تو ان کی یہ تسبیحات عرش کے گرد منڈلاتی رہتی ہیں۔ ان تسبیحات کی شہد کی مکھیوں کی طرح کی بھنبھناہٹ ہوتی ہے۔ یہ اپنے پڑھنے والے کو یاد کرتی ہیں کیا تم میں سے کوئی ایک یہ بات پسند نہیں کرتا کہ رحمن کے پاس کوئی چیز ہو جو اس کو مسلسل یاد کرتی رہے ؟ “
Hazrat Noman bin Bashir se riwayat hai wo kehte hain ke Janab Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya: “Jo log haibat khudawandi ki wajah se khuda ki tasbeeh, tahmeed aur tahleel parhte hain to un ki ye tasbeehat arsh ke gird mandlati rehti hain. In tasbeehat ki shehed ki makhiyon ki tarah ki bhanbhanahat hoti hai. Ye apne parhne wale ko yaad karti hain kya tum mein se koi ek ye baat pasand nahin karta ke Rahman ke paas koi cheez ho jo us ko musalsal yaad karti rahe?"
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Yasirah -- who was among the emigrants -- she says that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) instructed us: "Tasbeeh, Takbeer and Tahmeed are obligatory upon you, and you should count with your fingers." You (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Because these fingers will be made to speak on the Day of Judgment and will be questioned. Do not be heedless lest you be deprived of mercy."
حضرت یسیرہ ۔۔۔ جو ہجرت کرنے والیوں میں سے ایک تھیں ۔۔۔ سے روایت ہے۔ وہ کہتی ہیں کہ جناب رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ہمیں ارشاد فرمایا : ” تم پر تسبیح، تکبیر اور تقدیس لازم ہے اور تم انگلیوں کے ساتھ شمار کرو۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : کیونکہ یہ انگلیاں قیامت کے دن بلوائی جائیں گی اور پوچھی جائیں گی۔ تم غافل نہ ہونا کہ پھر رحمت سے بھلا دی جاؤ۔
Hazrat Yasirah jo hijrat karne walion mein se aik thin se riwayat hai wo kehti hain ke janab rasool Allah ne hamen irshad farmaya tum par tasbeeh takbeer aur taqdees lazim hai aur tum ungliyon ke sath shumaar karo aap ne farmaya kyunki yeh ungliyan qayamat ke din bulai jayengi aur poochi jayengi tum ghafil na hona ke phir rehmat se bhula di jao
It is narrated on the authority of Hadrat Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I said, 'O Messenger of Allah! The rich people have taken all the reward. We pray as they pray, we fast as they fast, we perform Hajj as they perform Hajj, and they give charity while we do not find anything to give in charity.' The narrator says, The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, 'Shall I not tell you a thing which, if you act upon it, you will overtake those who are ahead of you, and those who come after you will not be able to overtake you except by doing what you have done? You should recite after every prayer thirty-three times Subhan Allah (Glory be to Allah), and thirty-three times Alhamdulillah (Praise be to Allah), and thirty-four times Allahu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest).
حضرت ابوالدرداء (رض) سے روایت ہے وہ کہتے ہیں میں نے عرض کیا : یا رسول اللہ 5! غنی لوگ تو اجر لے گئے۔ جیسے ہم نماز پڑھتے ہیں وہ بھی اسی طرح نماز پڑھتے ہیں اور جیسے ہم روزے رکھتے ہیں وہ بھی روزے رکھتے ہیں اور جس طرح ہم حج کرتے ہیں وہ بھی یوں ہی حج کرتے ہیں اور وہ صدقہ بھی کرتے ہیں جبکہ ہمیں صدقہ کرنے کو کچھ نہیں ملتا۔ راوی کہتے ہیں : آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : ” کیا میں تمہیں کوئی ایسی چیز نہ بتادوں کہ جب تم اس کو کرو تو تم خود پر سبقت کرنے والے کو پالو اور تمہارے بعد والے تمہیں نہ پاسکیں گے مگر اسی عمل کے ذریعہ جو تم نے کیا ہوگا ؟ تم لوگ ہر نماز کے بعد تینتیس مرتبہ سبحان اللہ اور تینتیس مرتبہ الحمد للہ اور چونتیس مرتبہ اللہ اکبر پڑھا کرو۔
Hazrat Abu Darda (RA) se riwayat hai woh kehte hain main ne arz kiya Ya Rasul Allah 5! Ghani log to ajr le gaye. Jaise hum namaz parhte hain woh bhi isi tarah namaz parhte hain aur jaise hum roze rakhte hain woh bhi roze rakhte hain aur jis tarah hum Hajj karte hain woh bhi yun hi Hajj karte hain aur woh sadqa bhi karte hain jab keh humein sadqa karne ko kuch nahin milta. Ravi kehte hain Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya "Kya main tumhein koi aisi cheez na bata doon ke jab tum usko karo to tum khud par sabqat karne wale ko paalo aur tumhare baad wale tumhein na paa sakein ge magar usi amal ke zariya jo tum ne kiya hoga? Tum log har namaz ke baad tein tees martaba Subhan Allah aur tein tees martaba Alhamdulillah aur chaun tees martaba Allah Akbar parhha karo.
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Hilal bin Yasaf that he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Let me recite a few glorifications (of Allah). This is more beloved to me than spending gold coins in the way of Allah equal to their number."
حضرت ہلال بن یساف سے روایت ہے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ حضرت عبداللہ نے فرمایا : میں چند تسبیحات پڑھ لوں یہ مجھے اس سے زیادہ پسند ہے کہ میں ان کی تعداد کے بقدر راہ خدا میں دینار خرچ کروں۔
Hazrat Hilal bin Yasaf se riwayat hai woh kehte hain ke Hazrat Abdullah ne farmaya : mein chand tasbihat parh loon yeh mujhe is se ziada pasand hai ke mein in ki tadad ke barabar raah khuda mein dinar kharch karoon.
Hazrat Abu Dharr narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Every tasbeeh (saying SubhanAllah) is a charity."
حضرت ابوذر، جناب نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : ہر تسبیح کے بدلہ میں صدقہ ہوتا ہے۔
Hazrat Abuzar, Janab Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se riwayat karte hain ke aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya : Har tasbeeh ke badle mein sadaqah hota hai.
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to me: "Shall I not tell you the most beloved word to Allah Almighty?" Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I said: O Messenger of Allah! Why not. Tell me the most beloved word to Allah Almighty. You (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The most beloved word to Allah Almighty is 'Subhan Allah Wa Bihamdihi' (Glory be to Allah and all praise is for Him).".
حضرت ابوذر (رض) سے روایت ہے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ جناب رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے مجھ سے فرمایا : کیا میں تمہیں خدا تعالیٰ کا محبوب ترین کلام نہ بتاؤں ؟ “ ابوذر (رض) کہتے ہیں : میں نے عرض کیا : یا رسول اللہ 5! کیوں نہیں۔ آپ مجھے خدا تعالیٰ کا محبوب ترین کلام بتادیں۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : خدا تعالیٰ کا محبوب ترین کلام سبحان اللہ وبحمدہ ہے۔
Hazrat Abuzar (RA) se riwayat hai woh kehte hain ke janab Rasul Allah (SAW) ne mujh se farmaya : kya main tumhen khuda tala ka mahboob tareen kalaam na bataon ? “ Abuzar (RA) kehte hain : maine arz kiya : ya Rasul Allah 5! kyon nahin. Aap mujhe khuda tala ka mahboob tareen kalaam bata den. Aap (SAW) ne farmaya : khuda tala ka mahboob tareen kalaam subhan Allah wa bihamdihi hai.
It is narrated from Hazrat Ka'b that he said that the best of deeds is Subh al-Hadith and the worst of deeds is Tajdeef. The narrator says: I said, "O Abu Abdullah! What is Subh al-Hadith?" You (may Allah be pleased with you) said: "A person should engage in tasbeeh (glorification of Allah) while others are talking." The narrator says: I said, "What is Tajdeef?" You (may Allah be pleased with you) said: "People are with good, but when asked, they answer with evil."
حضرت کعب سے روایت ہے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ اعمال میں سے بہترین عمل سبحۃ الحدیث ہے اور اعمال میں سے بدترین عمل تجدیف ہے۔ راوی کہتے ہیں میں نے عرض کیا : اے ابوعبدالرحمن ! سبحۃ الحدیث کیا ہے ؟ آپ (رض) نے فرمایا : آدمی تسبیح کرے جبکہ باقی لوگ باتیں کررہے ہوں۔ راوی کہتے ہیں میں نے عرض کیا : تجدیف کیا ہے ؟ آپ (رض) نے فرمایا : لوگ خیر کے ساتھ ہوں لیکن جب سوال کیا جائے تو شر کا جواب دیں۔
Hazrat Kab se riwayat hai woh kehte hain ke amal mein se behtarin amal Subhana alhadees hai aur amal mein se badtareen amal tajdeef hai. Ravi kehte hain main ne arz kiya: Aye Abu abdur Rahman! Subhana alhadees kya hai? Aap (RA) ne farmaya: Aadmi tasbeeh kare jabke baqi log baatain kar rahe hon. Ravi kehte hain main ne arz kiya: Tajdeef kya hai? Aap (RA) ne farmaya: Log khair ke sath hon lekin jab sawal kiya jaye to shar ka jawab den.
It is narrated on the authority of Sa'id b. Musayyab that he said: We were with Sa'd b. Malik when he observed silence for a while and then said: Verily I found in my silence something which would quench the thirst if the Nile and the Euphrates were in its place. The narrator said: We said: What have you found? He said: Glory be to Allah, and praise be to Allah, and there is no god but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest.
حضرت سعید بن مسیب سے روایت ہے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم حضرت سعد بن مالک کے پاس تھے پھر وہ ایک لمحہ خاموش رہے اور پھر کہنے لگے۔ تحقیق میں نے اپنی اس خاموشی میں وہ کچھ پالیا ہے جس کو نیل اور فرات سیراب کرتے ہیں۔ راوی کہتے ہیں ہم نے کہا : آپ کو کیا ملا ہے ؟ انھوں نے فرمایا : سُبْحَانَ اللہِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّہِ ، وَلاَ إلَہَ إِلاَّ اللَّہُ وَاللَّہُ أَکْبَرُ ۔
Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyab se riwayat hai woh kehte hain ke hum Hazrat Saad bin Malik ke pass the phir woh ek lamha khamosh rahe aur phir kehne lage. Tahqeeq mein ne apni iss khamoshi mein woh kuch pa liya hai jisko Neil aur Furaat seeraab karte hain. Ravi kehte hain hum ne kaha: Aap ko kya mila hai? Unhon ne farmaya: Subhan Allah wal hamdulillah wa la ilaha illal lahu wal lahu akbar.
