Hazrat Aisha narrates that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was in his final illness, Hazrat Bilal came to inform him about the prayer time. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Tell Abu Bakr to lead the prayer." We said, "O Messenger of Allah! Abu Bakr is a soft-hearted and tender-hearted man. When he stands in your place, he will not be able to bear it and will start crying. It is better that you order Umar to lead the prayer." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Tell Abu Bakr to lead the prayer. You are like the women who were with Prophet Yusuf (Joseph)." So, the message was conveyed to Hazrat Abu Bakr, and he led the people in prayer. After a while, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) felt a little better, so he came out for prayer, supported by two men. At that time, both of his feet were dragging on the ground. When Hazrat Abu Bakr saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) coming, he started to step back. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gestured to him to stay in his place. Hazrat Aisha narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sat down next to Hazrat Abu Bakr. Hazrat Abu Bakr followed the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in prayer, and the people followed Hazrat Abu Bakr.
حضرت عائشہ فرماتی ہیں کہ نبی کریم حضور (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے مرض الوفات میں حضرت بلال آپ کو نماز کی اطلاع دینے حاضر ہوئے تو آپ نے فرمایا کہ ابوبکر سے کہو کہ وہ نماز پڑھائیں۔ ہم نے کہا یا رسول اللہ ! ابوبکر تو ایک نرم دل اور رقیق القلب آدمی ہیں، وہ جب آپ کی جگہ کھڑے ہوں گے تو ان سے برداشت نہ ہوگا اور وہ رونے لگیں گے۔ بہتر ہے کہ آپ حضرت عمر کو نماز کا حکم دے دیں۔ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا کہ ابوبکر کو ہی کہو کہ وہ لوگوں کو نماز پڑھائیں۔ تم تو حضرت یوسف کے پاس موجود عورتوں کی طرح ہو۔ پس حضرت ابوبکر کو پیغام دیا گیا اور انھوں نے لوگوں کو نماز پڑھائی۔ کچھ دیر بعد نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے بدن مبارک میں کچھ خفت محسوس کی تو آپ دو آدمیوں کے سہارے نماز کے لیے تشریف لے گئے۔ اس وقت آپ کے دونوں پاؤں زمین پر گھسٹ رہے تھے۔ جب حضرت ابوبکر نے حضور (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی آمد کو محسوس کیا تو پیچھے ہٹنے لگے۔ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے انہں و اشارہ فرمایا کہ اپنی جگہ کھڑے رہیں۔ حضرت عائشہ فرماتی ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) حضرت ابوبکر کے ساتھ بیٹھ گئے، حضرت ابوبکر حضور (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی اقتداء کرتے تھے اور لوگ حضرت ابوبکر کی اقتداء کرتے تھے۔

Hum ne kaha Ya Rasulullah! Abu Bakar to aik narm dil aur raqiq ul qalb aadmi hain, woh jab aap ki jaga khade honge to un se bardasht na hoga aur woh rone lagenge. Behtar hai keh aap Hazrat Umar ko namaz ka hukam de dain. Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya keh Abu Bakar ko hi kaho keh woh logon ko namaz parhain. Tum to Hazrat Yusuf ke pass mojood auraton ki tarah ho. Pas Hazrat Abu Bakar ko paigham diya gaya aur unhon ne logon ko namaz parhayi. Kuch der baad Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne badan mubarak mein kuch khiffat mehsoos ki to aap do aadmiyon ke sahare namaz ke liye tashreef le gaye. Iss waqt aap ke donon paon zameen par ghisat rahe thay. Jab Hazrat Abu Bakar ne Huzoor (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki aamad ko mehsoos kiya to peeche hatne lage. Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne unhein ishara farmaya keh apni jaga khade rahein. Hazrat Ayesha farmati hain keh Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) Hazrat Abu Bakar ke sath baith gaye, Hazrat Abu Bakar Huzoor (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki iqteda karte thay aur log Hazrat Abu Bakar ki iqteda karte thay.
Hazrat Anas narrates that during the Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) final illness, when Hazrat Bilal came to inform him about the prayer time, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "O Bilal! You have conveyed the message, now whoever wishes may pray and whoever wishes may leave it." They asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Then who will lead the people in prayer?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, "Tell Abu Bakr to lead the people in prayer." When Hazrat Abu Bakr stepped forward to lead the prayer, the curtains of the Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) blessed chamber were lifted, and he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came out with his blessed face shining like a piece of silver. He was wearing a black shawl. When Hazrat Abu Bakr saw him (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), he thought that perhaps he intended to lead the prayer, so he stepped back from his position. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gestured to him to continue leading the prayer. So, Hazrat Abu Bakr led the people in prayer. After that, we did not see the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and he passed away on the same day.
حضرت انس فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے مرض الوفات میں حضرت بلال حضور (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو نماز کی اطلاع دینے حاضر ہوئے تو آپ حضور (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا کہ اے بلال ! تم نے پیغام پہنچا دیا اب جو چاہے نماز پڑھ لے اور جو چاہے چھوڑ دے۔ انھوں نے کہا اے اللہ کے رسول ! تو پھر لوگوں کو نماز کون پڑھائے ؟ آپ حضور (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا کہ ابوبکر سے کہو کہ وہ لوگوں کو نماز پڑھائیں۔ جب حضرت ابوبکر نماز پڑھانے کے لیے آگے بڑھے تو نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے حجرہ مبارک کے خیمے اٹھائے گئے اور آپ وہاں سے یوں تشریف لائے کہ آپ کا چہرہ مبارک چاندی کے ٹکڑے کی طرح محسوس ہورہا تھا۔ آپ پر سیاہ رنگ کی ایک چادر تھی۔ جب حضرت ابوبکر نے آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو دیکھا توس مجھے کہ شاید آپ تشریف لانا چاہتے ہیں لہٰذا وہ مصلے سے پیچھے ہٹ گئے، نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے انھیں اشارہ کیا کہ نماز پڑھاتے رہیں۔ چنانچہ حضرت ابوبکر نے لوگوں کو نماز پڑھائی۔ اس کے بعد ہم نے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو نہیں دیکھا اور اسی دن آپ کا وصال ہوگیا۔

Unhon ne kaha aye Allah ke Rasul! to phir logon ko namaz kon parhaiye? Aap Huzoor (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya keh Abu Bakr se kaho keh wo logon ko namaz parhaiyen. Jab Hazrat Abu Bakr namaz parhane ke liye aage barhe to Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke hujra mubarak ke khime uthaye gaye aur aap wahan se yun tashreef laye keh aap ka chehra mubarak chandi ke tukre ki tarah mehsoos horaha tha. Aap par siyah rang ki ek chadar thi. Jab Hazrat Abu Bakr ne aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko dekha tos mujhe keh shayad aap tashreef lana chahte hain lihaza wo musalle se peeche hat gaye, Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne unhen ishara kiya keh namaz parhate rahen. Chunache Hazrat Abu Bakr ne logon ko namaz parhai. Iss ke baad hum ne Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko nahin dekha aur isi din aap ka wisal hogaya.
Hazrat Abu Musa narrates that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was in his last illness and his illness intensified, he said, "Tell Abu Bakr to lead the prayer." Upon this, Hazrat Aisha said, "He is a soft-hearted man, when he stands in your place, he will not be able to lead the people in prayer." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Tell Abu Bakr to lead the prayer, you are like the companions of Yusuf." So, Hazrat Abu Bakr led the people in prayer during the blessed life of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
حضرت ابو موسیٰ فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے مرض الوفات میں جب آپ کا مرض شدت پکڑ گیا تو آپ نے فرمایا کہ ابوبکر سے کہو کہ وہ نماز پڑھائیں۔ اس پر حضرت عائشہ نے کہا کہ وہ ایک نرم دل آدمی ہیں، جب وہ آپ کی جگہ کھڑے ہوں گے تو لوگوں کو نماز نہ پڑھاسکیں گے۔ حضور (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا کہ ابوبکر کو ہی نماز کا کہو، تم تو صواحبِ یوسف کی طرح ہو۔ چنانچہ حضرت ابوبکر نے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی حیات مبارکہ میں لوگوں کو نماز پڑھائی۔
Hazrat Abu Moosa farmate hain ke Nabi (SAW) ke marz ul wafat mein jab aap ka marz shiddat pakar gaya to aap ne farmaya ke Abubakar se kaho ke woh namaz parhaiyen. Iss par Hazrat Aisha ne kaha ke woh ek narm dil aadmi hain, jab woh aap ki jaga khade honge to logon ko namaz na parha sakenge. Huzoor (SAW) ne farmaya ke Abubakar ko hi namaz ka kaho, tum to sahabi Yusuf ki tarah ho. Chunanche Hazrat Abubakar ne Nabi (SAW) ki hayaat mubarak mein logon ko namaz parhayi.
"Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) led the people in prayer, and Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) was behind him. When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would say the Takbir (Allahu Akbar), Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) would say the Takbir in a loud voice, so that the people behind him could hear it."
حضرت جابر فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے لوگوں کو نماز پڑھائی، حضرت ابوبکر آپ کے پیچھے تھے، حضور (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) تکبیر کہتے تو حضرت ابوبکر بلند آواز سے تکبیر کہہ لوگوں تک تکبیر کی آواز پہنچاتے۔
Hazrat Jaber farmate hain keh Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne logon ko namaz parhayi, Hazrat Abu Bakar aap ke peeche thay, Huzoor (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) takbeer kehte to Hazrat Abu Bakar buland aawaz se takbeer keh logon tak takbeer ki aawaz pohanchate.
Hazrat Abdullah narrates that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed away, the Ansar said that one leader should be from us and one from you. Upon this Hazrat Umar came to them and said, "O group of Ansar! Don't you know that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) commanded Abu Bakr to lead the prayer?" They said, "Yes, indeed it is so." Hazrat Umar said, "Then whose heart desires to go ahead of Abu Bakr?"
حضرت عبداللہ فرماتے ہیں کہ جب نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کا وصال ہوگیا تو انصار نے کہا کہ ایک امیر ہم میں سے ہوگا اور ایک تم میں سے۔ اس پر حضرت عمر ان کے پاس آئے اور ان سے کہا اے انصار کی جماعت ! کیا تم نہیں جانتے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ابوبکر کو نماز پڑھانے کا حکم دیا تھا ؟ انھوں نے کہا جی ہاں، بالکل ایسا ہی ہے۔ حضرت عمر نے فرمایا کہ پھر تم میں سے کس کا دل کرے گا کہ وہ ابوبکر سے آگے بڑھے ؟
Hazrat Abdullah farmate hain keh jab Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ka wisal hogaya to Ansar ne kaha keh aik ameer hum mein se hoga aur aik tum mein se. Iss par Hazrat Umar unke pass aaye aur unse kaha aye Ansar ki jamaat! kya tum nahin jante keh Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne Abu Bakr ko namaz parhane ka hukum diya tha? Unhon ne kaha jee haan, bilkul aisa hi hai. Hazrat Umar ne farmaya keh phir tum mein se kis ka dil karega keh woh Abu Bakr se aage barhe?
Hazrat Abu Salma bin Abdur Rahman narrates that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) suffered from the illness that led to his death, you (the Prophet) ordered Abu Bakr to lead the people in prayer. After a while, you (the Prophet) felt some relief in your blessed body, so you came out. When Hazrat Abu Bakr saw you coming, he started to step back. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gestured to him to stay in his place. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came and sat down next to Hazrat Abu Bakr. Hazrat Abu Bakr was leading the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in prayer, and the people were praying behind Hazrat Abu Bakr.
حضرت ابو سلمہ بن عبدالرحمن فرماتے ہیں کہ جب نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) مرض الوفات کا شکار ہوئے تو آپ حضور (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا کہ ابوبکر کو حکم دو کہ وہ لوگوں کو نماز پڑھائیں۔ کچھ دیر آپ حضور (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اپنے جسم مبارک میں خفت محسوس کی تو آپ باہر تشریف لے آئے۔ جب حضرت ابوبکر نے آپ کو تشریف لاتے دیکھا تو پیچھے ہٹنے لگے۔ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اشارے سے انھیں اپنی جگہ کھڑے رہنے کا حکم فرمایا۔ پھر نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) آکر حضرت ابوبکر کے ساتھ بیٹھ گئے۔ حضرت ابوبکر نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی اقتداء کر رہے تھے اور لوگ حضرت ابوبکر کی اقتداء میں نماز پڑھ رہے تھے۔

Hazrat Abu Bakr Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki iqtida kar rahe the aur log Hazrat Abu Bakr ki iqtida mein namaz parh rahe the.
Hazrat Aisha narrates: During his final illness, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) fell unconscious. When he regained consciousness, he asked, "Have the people prayed?" We said, "No." He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Command Abu Bakr to lead the people in prayer." We said, "O Messenger of Allah! He is an extremely soft-hearted and kind man. When he stands in your place, he will not be able to lead the people in prayer." Hazrat Aisha said: Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) fell unconscious again. When he regained consciousness, he repeated the same thing. I answered him thrice, then he said, "You are like the women with Yusuf (Joseph). Tell Abu Bakr to lead the prayer." Hazrat Aisha said: After a while, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) felt some discomfort in his blessed body. He went out, supported by Barira and Nubia. Due to the weakness in his blessed body, both his feet were dragging on the ground, and I could see the whiteness of his soles. At that time, Abu Bakr was leading the people in prayer. When he saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), he started to step back. But the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gestured for him to stay where he was. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sat beside him. Hazrat Abu Bakr was leading the prayer under the leadership of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and the people were following Hazrat Abu Bakr.
حضرت عائشہ فرماتی ہیں کہ مرض الوفات میں نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) پر غشی طاری ہوئی، جب آپ کو افاقہ ہوا تو آپ نے پوچھا کیا لوگوں نے نماز پڑھ لی ؟ ہم نے کہا نہیں۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا کہ ابوبکر کو حکم دو کہ وہ لوگوں کو نماز پڑھائیں۔ ہم نے کہا یا رسول اللہ ! وہ انتہائی نرم دل اور مہربان آدمی ہیں، جب وہ آپ کی جگہ کھڑے ہوں گے تو لوگوں کو نماز نہ پڑھاسکیں گے۔ حضرت عائشہ فرماتی ہیں کہ پھر نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) پر غشی طاری ہوئی، جب افاقہ ہوا تو آپ نے پھر وہی بات فرمائی، میں نے آپ کو تین مرتبہ جواب دیا تو آپ نے فرمایا کہ تم یوسف کے پاس موجود عورتوں کی طرح ہوں، ابوبکر کو کہو کہ وہ نماز پڑھائیں۔ حضرت عائشہ فرماتی ہیں کہ کچھ دیر بعد نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اپنے جسم مبارک میں کچھ خفت محسوس کی، آپ بریرہ اور نوبہ کے سہارے سے باہر تشریف لے گئے، جسم مبارک میں کمزوری کی وجہ سے دونوں پاؤں زمین پر گھسٹ رہے تھے اور میں آپ کے تلووں کی سفیدی کو دیکھ رہی تھی۔ اس وقت ابوبکر لوگوں کو نماز پڑھا رہے تھے۔ جب انھوں نے آپ حضور (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو دیکھا کہ تو پیچھے ہٹنے لگے۔ لیکن نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اشارے سے انھیں وہیں کھڑے رہنے کا حکم دیا۔ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ان کے پاس بیٹھ گئے۔ حضرت ابوبکر نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی امامت میں نماز ادا کررہے تھے اور لوگ حضرت ابوبکر کی اقتداء کررہے تھے۔

Woh intehai narm dil aur meherban aadmi hain, jab woh aap ki jagah kharay hon ge to logon ko namaz na parha saken ge. Hazrat Ayesha farmati hain keh phir Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) per ghashi tari hui, jab afaqa hua to aap ne phir wohi baat farmai, mein ne aap ko teen martaba jawab diya to aap ne farmaya keh tum Yusuf ke pass mojood auraton ki tarah ho, Abu Bakar ko kaho keh woh namaz parhain. Hazrat Ayesha farmati hain keh kuch der baad Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne apne jism mubarak mein kuch khafat mehsoos ki, aap Barira aur Nuba ke sahaare se bahar tashreef le gaye, jism mubarak mein kamzori ki wajah se donon paon zameen per ghisat rahe the aur mein aap ke talwon ki sufaidi ko dekh rahi thi. Iss waqt Abu Bakar logon ko namaz parha rahe the. Jab unhon ne aap huzur (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko dekha to peeche hatne lage. Lekin Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne ishare se unhen wahin kharay rehne ka hukum diya. Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) un ke pass baith gaye. Hazrat Abu Bakar Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki imamat mein namaz ada kar rahe the aur log Hazrat Abu Bakar ki iqteda kar rahe the.
Hazrat Abdullah bin Utba narrates that I went to Ummul Momineen Hazrat Aisha (RA) and asked her to tell me about the Prophet's (PBUH) last illness. She agreed and said, 'When the Prophet (PBUH) became very ill, he asked if the people had prayed. I said no, not yet. They are waiting for you, O Messenger of Allah! He said, 'Place a water container for me.' So we did, and he performed ablution. He then got up with difficulty, but fainted. When he regained consciousness after a while, he again asked if the people had prayed. We said no, they were waiting for him. He said, 'Place a water container for me.' We did as he asked, and he performed ablution. He struggled to stand, but fainted again. When he regained consciousness, he asked if the people had prayed. We replied, 'No, O Messenger of Allah! They are waiting for you.' The people were waiting in the mosque for the Isha prayer, waiting for him (to lead the prayer). Then the Prophet (PBUH) sent a message to Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA) to lead the people in prayer. When the messenger reached Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA) and conveyed the Prophet's (PBUH) instruction to lead the prayer, Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA), being a soft-hearted man, asked Hazrat Umar (RA) to lead the prayer instead. Hazrat Umar (RA) said, 'You are more deserving of it.' So, Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA) led the prayers during those days. Hazrat Aisha (RA) said that later, when the Prophet's (PBUH) health improved slightly, he went to the mosque for the Zuhr prayer, walking between two men for support. Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA) was leading the prayer. When Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA) saw the Prophet (PBUH), he began to step back. The Prophet (PBUH) gestured for him to stay and asked the two men to help him sit beside Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA). They did so. Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA) continued leading the prayer while standing, following the Prophet's (PBUH) lead, and the people followed Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA). The Prophet (PBUH) prayed while sitting. Hazrat Abdullah bin Utba said, 'I went to Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas (RA) and asked if he wanted to hear the account of the Prophet's (PBUH) last illness that I had heard from Hazrat Aisha (RA). He said yes. I narrated the entire account, and he did not deny any part of it.'
حضرت عبید اللہ بن عتبہ فرماتے ہیں کہ میں ام المؤمنین حضرت عائشہ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا، میں نے ان سے عرض کیا کہ کیا آپ مجھے حضور (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے مرض الوفات کے بارے میں بتائیں گی ؟ انھوں نے فرمایا کیوں نہیں۔ جب آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی طبیعت مبارکہ بہت بوجھل ہوگئی تو آپ نے دریافت فرمایا کہ کیا لوگوں نے نماز پڑھ لی ؟ میں نے کہا نہیں، ابھی نہیں پڑھی۔ اے اللہ کے رسول ! وہ آپ کا انتظار کررہے ہیں۔ آپ نے فرمایا کہ میرے لیے برتن میں پانی رکھو۔ چنانچہ ہم نے ایسا ہی کیا۔ آپ نے غسل فرمایا، پھر آپ مشکل سے اٹھے، لیکن آپ پر بےہوشی طاری ہوگئی پھر کچھ دیر بعد افاقہ ہوا تو آپ نے دریافت فرمایا کہ کیا لوگوں نے نماز پڑھ لی۔ ہم نے کہا نہیں وہ آپ کا انتظار کررہے ہیں۔ آپ نے فرمایا کہ میرے لیے برتن میں پانی رکھو۔ ہم نے ایسا ہی کیا۔ آپ نے غسل فرمایا، پھر آپ مشکل سے اٹھے، لیکن آپ پر بےہوشی طاری ہوگئی پھر کچھ دیر بعد افاقہ ہوا تو آپ نے دریافت فرمایا کہ کیا لوگوں نے نماز پڑھ لی۔ ہم نے کہا نہیں، اے اللہ کے رسول ! وہ آپ کا انتظار کررہے ہیں۔ لوگ مسجد میں رکے ہوئے عشاء کی نماز پڑھنے کے لیے آپ کے منتظر تھے۔
پھر آپ حضور (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے حضرت ابوبکر کو پیغام بھجوایا کہ لوگوں کو نماز پڑھائیں۔ جب حضور (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کا قاصد حضرت ابوبکر کے پاس آیا اور انھیں بتایا کہ حضور (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) آپ کو نماز پڑھنے کا حکم دے رہے ہیں۔ حضرت ابوبکر ایک نرم دل آدمی تھے ، انھوں نے حضرت عمر سے کہا کہ آپ نماز پڑھائیں۔ حضرت عمر نے کہا کہ آپ اس کے زیادہ حقد ار ہیں۔ چنانچہ ان دنوں میں حضرت ابوبکر نے لوگوں کو نماز پڑھائی۔
حضرت عائشہ فرماتی ہیں کہ پھر آپ کی طبیعت مبارکہ میں کچھ بہتری آئی تو آپ ظہر کی نماز کے لیے دو آدمیوں کے درمیان ان کے سہارے سے چلتے ہوئے مسجد تشریف لے گئے۔ اس وقت ابوبکر لوگوں کو نماز پڑھا رہے تھے۔ جب حضرت ابوبکر نے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو دیکھا تو پیچھے ہٹنے لگے۔ آپ نے اشارے سے انھیں پیچھے ہٹنے سے منع کیا اور ان دونوں آدمیوں سے کہا کہ مجھے ان کے ساتھ بٹھا دو ۔ ان دونوں نے حضور (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو ان کے ساتھ بٹھا دیا۔ حضرت ابوبکر کھڑے ہو کر نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی اقتداء کررہے تھے اور لوگ حضرت ابوبکر کی نماز کی اقتداء کررہے تھے۔ نبی پاک حضور (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) بیٹھ کر نماز پڑھ رہے تھے۔
حضرت عبیداللہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس کے پاس حاضر ہوا اور میں نے ان سے کہا کہ میں آپ کو نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے مرض الوفات کا وہ واقعہ سناؤں جو مجھ سے حضرت عائشہ نے بیان کیا ہے ؟ انھوں نے کہا کہ ہاں بیان کرو۔ میں نے بیان کیا تو انھوں نے اس واقعہ میں سے ایک بات کا بھی انکار نہیں کیا۔

Jab Huzoor (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ka qasid Hazrat Abu Bakr ke pass aaya aur unhen bataya ke Huzoor (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) aap ko namaz padhne ka hukum de rahe hain.
