It is narrated on the authority of Abu al-Tufail (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was returning from the Battle of Tabuk, he ordered the caller on the way. He announced that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had taken the path of the valley, so no one should go on this path. Huzaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) was ahead of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and Ammar (may Allah be pleased with him) was behind him, when suddenly a group of people on camels with their faces covered appeared in front of them and surrounded Ammar (may Allah be pleased with him). Ammar (may Allah be pleased with him) was behind them, he started hitting the faces of these riders. Sensing the danger, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked Huzaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) to stop the ride and got down. Then the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) started descending from this valley. Meanwhile, Ammar (may Allah be pleased with him) also came back.
The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked him, "Ammar! Did you recognize those people?" He replied, "I recognized most of the riders, but the people had covered their faces." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Do you know their intention?" He replied, "Allah and His Messenger know best." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Their intention was to take the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and push him from above."
Then Ammar (may Allah be pleased with him) scolded a companion of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said, "I ask you by Allah, do you know how many people were in this valley?" He said fourteen. He said, "If you were also among them, then they would have been fifteen, out of which three were excused by the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) who said, 'By Allah! We did not hear the voice of the caller of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and we did not know what the intention of these people was.” Ammar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, “I bear witness that the remaining twelve people are those who fight against Allah and His Messenger both in this worldly life and on the Day of Resurrection.”
Valid says that Abu al-Tufail (may Allah be pleased with him) had told about this same battle that when the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to know about the shortage of water, he told the people and the caller announced that no one should go to the water before the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). But when the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) reached there, he found some people already present there who had reached there before him. On that day, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) cursed and rebuked them.

حضرت ابوالطفیل رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ جب غزوہ تبوک سے واپس آرہے تھے تو راستے میں منادی کو حکم دیا اس نے یہ اعلان کردیا کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے گھاٹی کا راستہ اختیار کیا ہے اس راستے پر کوئی نہ جائے نبی کریم ﷺ کے آگے حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ تھے اور پیچھے حضرت عمار رضی اللہ عنہ تھے کہ اچانک کچھ سواریوں پر ڈھاٹا باندھے ہوئے لوگوں کا ایک گروہ سامنے آگیا جنہوں نے حضرت عمار رضی اللہ عنہ کو گھیر لیا حضرت عمار رضی اللہ عنہ پیچھے تھے وہ ان سواریوں کے چہروں پر مارنے لگے نبی کریم ﷺ نے خطرے کا احساس ہوتے ہی حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے سواری روکنے کے لئے کہا اور نیچے اتر آئے پھر نبی کریم ﷺ اس گھاٹی سے اترنے لگے اسی دوران حضرت عمار رضی اللہ عنہ بھی واپس آگئے۔
نبی کریم ﷺ نے ان سے پوچھا عمار! کیا تم ان لوگوں کو پہچان سکے ہو؟ انہوں نے عرض کیا کہ اکثر سواریوں کو تو میں نے پہچان لیا ہے لیکن لوگوں نے اپنے چہروں پر ڈھاٹا باندھا ہوا تھا نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ کیا تمہیں ان کا ارادہ معلوم ہے؟ انہوں نے عرض کیا کہ اللہ اور اس کے رسول ہی بہتر جانتے ہیں نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا ان کا ارادہ یہ تھا کہ وہ نبی کریم ﷺ کو لے جائیں اور اوپر سے نیچے دھکیل دیں۔
پھر حضرت عمار رضی اللہ عنہ نے نبی کریم ﷺ کے ایک صحابی کو سخت سست کہا اور کہا کہ میں آپ کو اللہ کی قسم دے کر پوچھتا ہوں کیا آپ کو معلوم ہے کہ اس گھاٹی میں کتنے آدمی تھے؟ اس نے کہا چودہ انہوں نے کہا کہ اگر آپ بھی ان میں شامل ہوں تو وہ پندرہ ہوتے ہیں جن میں سے تین کو نبی کریم ﷺ نے معذور قرار دیا تھا جن کا کہنا یہ تھا کہ بخدا! ہم نے نبی کریم ﷺ کے منادی کی آواز نہیں سنی تھی اور ہمیں معلوم نہیں تھا کہ ان لوگوں کا کیا ارادہ تھا؟ حضرت عمار رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ وہ بارہ آدمی جو باقی بچے وہ دنیوی زندگی اور گواہوں کے اٹھنے کے دن دونوں موقعوں پر اللہ اور اس کے رسول سے جنگ کرنے والے ہیں۔
ولید کہتے ہیں کہ حضرت ابوالطفیل رضی اللہ عنہ نے اسی غزوے کے متعلق بتایا تھا کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے " جب پانی کی قلت کا علم ہوا تو " لوگوں سے فرما دیا تھا اور منادی نے یہ اعلان کردیا تھا کہ نبی کریم ﷺ سے پہلے کوئی شخص پانی پر نہ جائے لیکن نبی کریم ﷺ جب وہاں پہنچے تو کچھ لوگوں کو وہاں موجود پایا جو ان سے پہلے وہاں پہنچ گئے تھے اس دن نبی کریم ﷺ نے انہیں لعنت ملامت کی۔

Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unse poocha Ammar! kya tum in logon ko pehchan sake ho? Unhone arz kiya ki aksar sawariyon ko to maine pehchan liya hai lekin logon ne apne chehron par dhata bandha hua tha Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki kya tumhen inka irada maloom hai? Unhone arz kiya ki Allah aur uske rasool hi behtar jante hain Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya inka irada ye tha ki woh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko le jayen aur upar se neeche dhakil den.
Phir Hazrat Ammar razi Allah anhu ne Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke ek sahabi ko sakht sust kaha aur kaha ki mein aapko Allah ki qasam dekar poochhta hoon kya aapko maloom hai ki is ghati mein kitne aadmi the? Usne kaha chaudah unhone kaha ki agar aap bhi in mein shamil hon to woh pandrah hote hain jin mein se teen ko Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mazdoor qarar diya tha jin ka kehna ye tha ki Khuda! humne Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke munadi ki aawaz nahin suni thi aur hamen maloom nahin tha ki in logon ka kya irada tha? Hazrat Ammar razi Allah anhu ne farmaya mein gawahi deta hoon ki woh baarah aadmi jo baqi bache woh dunyawi zindagi aur gawahon ke uthne ke din dono mauqon par Allah aur uske rasool se jung karne wale hain.
Waleed kehte hain ki Hazrat Abulaitfail razi Allah anhu ne isi gazwe ke mutalliq bataya tha ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne " jab pani ki qillat ka ilm hua to " logon se farma diya tha aur munadi ne ye elaan kar diya tha ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se pehle koi shakhs pani par na jaye lekin Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) jab wahan pahunche to kuchh logon ko wahan maujood paya jo unse pehle wahan pahunch gaye the is din Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unhen laanat malamat ki.
Abdullah bin Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Once I entered the house of Abu al-Tufayl (may Allah be pleased with him) and found him in a cheerful mood. I considered this an opportune time to benefit, so I said, 'O Abu al-Tufayl, who were the people whom the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) cursed?' He was about to tell me about them when his wife, Umm Sulaim (may Allah be pleased with her), said, 'O Abu al-Tufayl, stop! Don't you know that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, 'O Allah, I am but a human being, so if I have invoked evil upon any Muslim, then make it a source of purification and mercy for him.''"

عبداللہ بن عثمان رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ میں حضرت ابو الطفیل رضی اللہ عنہ کے گھر میں داخل ہوا تو انہیں خوشگوار موڈ میں پایا میں نے اس موقع کو غنیمت سمجھ کر فائدہ اٹھانے کی سوچی چناچہ میں نے ان سے عرض کیا کہ اے ابوالطفیل! وہ لوگ جنہیں نبی کریم ﷺ نے لعنت ملامت کی تھی وہ کون تھے؟ ابھی انہوں نے مجھے ان کے متعلق بتانے کا ارادہ ہی کیا تھا کہ ان کی اہلیہ سودہ نے کہا کہ اے ابوالطفیل! رک جائیے آپ کو معلوم نہیں کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا ہے اے اللہ! میں بھی ایک انسان ہوں اس لئے اگر کسی مسلمان کو میں نے کوئی بد دعا دی ہو تو اسے اس شخص کے حق میں تزکیہ اور رحمت کا سبب بنا دے۔
Abdullah bin Usman (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ki aik martaba main Hazrat Abu al-Tufail (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke ghar mein dakhil hua to unhen khushgawar mood mein paya maine is mauqe ko ghanimat samajh kar faidah uthane ki sochi chunancha maine un se arz kiya ke aye Abu al-Tufail! Woh log jinhen Nabi Karim (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne laanat malamat ki thi woh kaun the? Abhi unhon ne mujhe un ke mutalliq batane ka irada hi kiya tha ki un ki ahliya suda ne kaha ke aye Abu al-Tufail! Ruk jaiye aap ko maloom nahin ke Nabi Karim (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya hai aye Allah! main bhi ek insan hun is liye agar kisi Musalman ko maine koi bad dua di ho to use is shakhs ke haq mein tazkiya aur rehmat ka sabab bana de.
Abu Al-Tufail (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated, regarding the building of the Kaaba during the pre-Islamic period, that when the construction began (Quraysh had first completely demolished it and started rebuilding it with stones from the valley), people were carrying stones, including the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). (The Quraysh had kept its length to be twenty cubits). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was wearing a woolen shawl, but it became difficult for him to manage it while carrying the stones. So, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) put the shawl on his shoulder. At that moment, someone shouted, "Cover your private parts!" So, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) threw the stone and covered himself with his shawl. Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.

حضرت ابو الطفیل رضی اللہ عنہ سے (زمانہ جاہلیت میں بناء کعبہ کا تذکرہ کرتے ہوئے) مروی ہے کہ جب بیت اللہ کی تعمیر شروع ہوئی (تو قریش نے پہلے اسے مکمل منہدم کیا اور وادی کے پتھروں سے اس کی تعمیر شروع کردی) لوگ وہ پتھر اٹھا اٹھا کر لا رہے تھے جن میں نبی کریم ﷺ بھی شامل تھے (قریش نے اسے بیس گز لمبا رکھا تھا) نبی کریم ﷺ نے ایک اونی چادر پہن رکھی تھی لیکن پتھر اٹھانے کے دوران اسے سنبھالنا مشکل ہوگیا تو نبی کریم ﷺ نے اس چادر کو اپنے کندھے پر ڈال لیا اس وقت کسی نے پکار کر کہا کہ اپنا ستر چھپائیے چناچہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے پتھر پھینکا اور اپنی چادر اوڑھ لی۔ ﷺ
Hazrat Abu al Tufayl razi Allah anhu se (zamana jahiliyat mein bana Kaaba ka tazkara karte hue) marwi hai ki jab Baitullah ki tameer shuru hui (to Quraish ne pehle ise mukammal munhadam kya aur wadi ke patharon se iski tameer shuru kardi) log wo pathar utha utha kar la rahe the jin mein Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) bhi shamil the (Quraish ne ise bees gaz lamba rakha tha) Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ek ooni chadar pehan rakhi thi lekin pathar uthane ke dauran ise sambhalna mushkil hogaya to Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne is chadar ko apne kandhe par daal liya is waqt kisi ne pukar kar kaha ki apna satar chhupaiye chunache Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne pathar phenka aur apni chadar odh li. (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم).
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Al-Tafayl (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "There will be no Prophethood after me, but there will be 'Mubashirat'." Someone asked, "O Messenger of Allah! What is meant by 'Mubashirat'?" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, "Good dreams."

حضرت ابوالطفیل رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا میرے بعد نبوت تو نہیں ہوگی البتہ " مبشرات " ہوں گے کسی نے پوچھا یا رسول اللہ! " مبشرات " سے کیا مراد ہے؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اچھے خواب۔

Someone asked Abu'l-Tufail (may Allah be pleased with him), "Did you see the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)?" He said, "Yes!" The questioner asked, "Did you also talk to him?" He said, "No, but I saw him going somewhere. At that time, Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) and other companions (may Allah be pleased with them all) were with him. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) reached an open place and had the door opened. When the door opened, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went inside. I also went inside with him. There was a tent in the middle of the house. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, 'Lift this tent.' The Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) lifted the tent, and a one-eyed boy came out from under it. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, 'O boy! Stand up.' The boy stood up. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked him, 'O boy! Do you bear witness that I am the Messenger of Allah?' The boy said, 'Do you bear witness that I am the Messenger of Allah?' This question and answer happened twice. Then the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said twice, 'I seek refuge in Allah from his evil.'"

حضرت ابوالطفیل رضی اللہ عنہ سے کسی نے پوچھا کہ کیا آپ نے نبی کریم ﷺ کی زیارت کی ہے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا جی ہاں! سائل نے پوچھا کہ کیا بات بھی کی ہے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا نہیں البتہ میں نے فلاں جگہ جاتے ہوئے دیکھا تھا اس وقت ان کے ہمراہ حضرت عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ اور دیگر صحابہ رضی اللہ عنہ تھے نبی کریم ﷺ ایک کشادہ مکان پر پہنچے اور دروازہ کھلوایا جب دروازہ کھلا تو نبی کریم ﷺ اندر داخل ہوگئے میں بھی ان کے ساتھ ہی اندر چلا گیا وہاں گھر کے درمیان میں ایک چادر تھی نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا یہ چادر اٹھاؤ صحابہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے چادر اٹھائی تو اس کے نیچے سے ایک کانا لڑکا نکلا نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اے لڑکے! کھڑا ہوجا وہ لڑکا کھڑا ہوگیا، نبی کریم ﷺ نے اس سے پوچھا اے لڑکے! کیا تو اس بات کی گواہی دیتا ہے کہ میں اللہ کا رسول ہوں؟ اس لڑکے نے کہا کیا آپ اس بات کی گواہی دیتے ہیں کہ میں اللہ کا رسول ہوں؟ دو مرتبہ یہی سوال جواب ہوئے پھر نبی کریم ﷺ نے دو مرتبہ فرمایا اس کے شر سے اللہ کی پناہ مانگو۔

Jarir said that once I was performing Tawaf with Abu Altafil (R.A.) when he said now there is no one left except me who has seen the Prophet (PBUH). I asked him, "Have you seen the Prophet (PBUH)?" He said, "Yes." I asked, "How was the Prophet's (PBUH) appearance?" He said, "The Prophet (PBUH) had a fair complexion, was handsome, and had a moderate physique."

جریری کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ میں حضرت ابوالطفیل رضی اللہ عنہ کے ہمراہ طواف کر رہا تھا کہ وہ کہنے لگے اب نبی کریم ﷺ کی زیارت کرنے والا میرے علاوہ کوئی شخص باقی نہیں بچا میں نے ان سے پوچھا کہ کیا آپ نے نبی کریم ﷺ کی زیارت کی ہے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا ہاں میں نے پوچھا کہ نبی کریم ﷺ کا حلیہ کیسا تھا؟ انہوں نے فرمایا کہ نبی کریم ﷺ کا رنگ گورا خوبصورت اور جسم معتدل تھا۔
Jariri kahte hain ke ek martaba main Hazrat Abu al Tufayl razi Allah anhu ke hamrah tawaaf kar raha tha ke woh kahne lage ab Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki ziyarat karne wala mere alawah koi shakhs baqi nahin bacha maine unse poocha ke kya aap ne Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki ziyarat ki hai unhon ne farmaya haan maine poocha ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ka hulya kaisa tha unhon ne farmaya ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ka rang gora khoobsurat aur jism motadil tha.
Abu Altaf narrated that he saw the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) while he was very young. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was circumambulating the Kaaba on his ride and touching the Black Stone with his stick.

حضرت ابوالطفیل رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کی زیارت کی ہے اس وقت میں بالکل نوجوان تھا نبی کریم ﷺ اپنی سواری پر بیت اللہ کا طواف کر رہے تھے اور اپنی چھڑی سے حجر اسود کا استلام کر رہے تھے۔

It is narrated by Abu al-Tafīl (may Allah be pleased with him) that I saw eight years of the blessed life of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and I was born in the year of the Battle of Uhud.

حضرت ابوالطفیل رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کی حیات مبارکہ کے آٹھ سال پائے ہیں اور میں غزوہ احد کے سال پیدا ہوا تھا۔
Hazrat Abu al Tufayl (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ke maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki hayat mubarakah ke aath saal paaye hain aur main ghazwa uhud ke saal paida hua tha.
It is narrated on the authority of Hadrat Abu Al-Tufail (may Allah be pleased with him), (mentioning the construction of the Kaaba in the pre-Islamic period) that when the construction of the House of Allah began (the Quraysh first demolished it completely and started rebuilding it with stones from the valley) people were bringing stones, including the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). (The Quraysh had kept it twenty cubits long.) The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was wearing a woolen shawl, but it became difficult to manage it while lifting stones, so the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) put the shawl on his shoulder. At that time, someone shouted, "Cover your private parts!" So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) threw the stone and covered himself with his shawl. Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.

حضرت ابوالطفیل رضی اللہ عنہ سے (زمانہ جاہلیت میں بناء کعبہ کا تذکرہ کرتے ہوئے) مروی ہے کہ جب بیت اللہ کی تعمیر شروع ہوئی (تو قریش نے پہلے اسے مکمل منہدم کیا اور وادی کے پتھروں سے اس کی تعمیر شروع کردی) لوگ وہ پتھر اٹھا اٹھا کر لارہے تھے جن میں نبی کریم ﷺ بھی شامل تھے (قریش نے اسے بیس گز لمبا رکھا تھا) نبی کریم ﷺ نے ایک اونی چادر پہن رکھی تھی لیکن پتھر اٹھانے کے دوران اسے سنبھالنا مشکل ہوگیا تو نبی کریم ﷺ نے اس چادر کو اپنے کندھے پر ڈال لیا اس وقت کسی نے پکار کر کہا کہ اپنا ستر چھپائیے چناچہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے پتھر پھینکا اور اپنی چادراوڑھ لی۔ ﷺ
Hazrat Abu al Tufayl razi Allah anhu se zamana jahiliyat mein bana Kaaba ka tazkara karte huye marvi hai ki jab Bayt Allah ki tameer shuru hui to Quraysh ne pehle ise mukmmal minhadim kiya aur wadi ke pattharon se iski tameer shuru kar di log woh patthar utha utha kar la rahe the jin mein Nabi Karim (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) bhi shamil the Quraysh ne ise bees gaz lamba rakha tha Nabi Karim (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ek ooni chadar pehan rakhi thi lekin patthar uthane ke dauran ise sambhalna mushkil ho gaya to Nabi Karim (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne is chadar ko apne kandhe par daal liya is waqt kisi ne pukar kar kaha ki apna satar chhupaiye chunacha Nabi Karim (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne patthar phenka aur apni chadar odh li (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)
It is narrated by Abu Al-Tufail (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "I saw in a dream that I was in an area and some black and some white goats came to me. After a while, Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) came and he pulled one or two buckets, in which there was some weakness, may Allah forgive him. Then Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) came, and a bucket was formed in his hand, and he filled the basin and gave water to those who came. I did not see anyone after Umar who pulled a better bucket, and I interpreted this dream to mean that the black goats are the Arabs and the white goats are the non-Arabs."

حضرت ابوالطفیل رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا میں نے خواب میں دیکھا کہ جیسے میں ایک علاقے میں ہوں اور میرے پاس کچھ سیاہ اور کچھ سفید بکریاں آئی ہیں تھوڑی دیر بعد ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ آئے اور انہوں نے ایک دو ڈول کھینچے جن میں کچھ کمزوری تھی اللہ انہیں معاف کر دے پھر عمر رضی اللہ عنہ آئے اور وہ ان کے ہاتھ میں ڈول بن گیا اور انہوں نے حوض بھر دیا اور آنے والوں کو سیراب کردیا میں نے عمر سے زیادہ اچھا ڈول کھینچنے والا کوئی عقبری آدمی نہیں دیکھا اور میں نے اس خواب کی تعبیر یہ لی ہے کہ سیاہ بکریوں سے مراد عرب ہیں اور سفید بکریوں سے مراد اہل عجم ہیں۔
Hazrat Abu Lutfail (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya mein ne khwab mein dekha ki jaise mein aik ilaqe mein hun aur mere pass kuch siyah aur kuch safaid bakriyaan aayi hain thodi dair baad Abu Bakar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) aaye aur unhon ne aik do dol khenche jin mein kuch kamzori thi Allah unhen maaf kar de phir Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) aaye aur wo un ke hath mein dol ban gaya aur unhon ne hauz bhar diya aur aane walon ko sairab kar diya mein ne Umar se zyada achcha dol khenchne wala koi aqabri aadmi nahin dekha aur mein ne is khwab ki tabeer ye li hai ki siyah bakriyon se murad Arab hain aur safaid bakriyon se murad ahle ajam hain.
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Al-Tufail (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performed Ramal (running between Safa and Marwa) for three rounds from the Black Stone to the Black Stone.

حضرت ابوالطفیل رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے حجر اسود سے حجر اسود تک تین چکروں میں رمل کیا تھا۔
Hazrat Abu al Tufayl razi Allah anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Hajar Aswad se Hajar Aswad tak teen chakron mein ramal kya tha.
Narrated Abu'l-Tufail (may Allah be pleased with him): A man passed by some people and greeted them with "Assalamu Alaikum" (peace be upon you). They returned his greeting. When he went ahead, one of them said, "By Allah! I hate him for the sake of Allah." The people said, "You have said a very evil thing. By Allah! We will convey this to him." Then they said to a man, "O so-and-so! Get up and inform him of this." So, the messenger followed him and told him. That man came back to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah! I passed by a gathering of Muslims and greeted them. They all returned my greeting, including so-and-so. When I had gone ahead, one of them came to me and said that so-and-so said, 'I hate him for the sake of Allah.' Ask him on what grounds he hates me." The Prophet (peace be upon him) called him and inquired about it. He confessed and said, "O Messenger of Allah! I said that." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Why do you hate him?" He said, "I am his neighbor and know his condition. By Allah! I have never seen him praying any prayer except the obligatory prayer which is prayed by both the righteous and the wicked." The person said, "O Messenger of Allah! Ask him if he has ever seen me delaying the prayer from its time, performing ablution incorrectly, or making any mistake in bowing or prostrating." The Prophet (peace be upon him) asked him, and he said, "No." Then he said, "I have never seen him fasting except in this month, which is observed by both the righteous and the wicked." He said, "O Messenger of Allah! Ask him if he has ever seen me not fasting in this month, or if I have ever wronged him in any way." The Prophet (peace be upon him) asked him, and he said, "No." Then he said, "By Allah! I have never seen him giving anything in charity, nor have I seen him spending anything in the way of Allah from his wealth, except the Zakat which is paid by both the righteous and the wicked." He said, "O Messenger of Allah! Ask him if I have hidden the Zakat or given less to someone who asked for it." The Prophet (peace be upon him) asked him, and he said, "No." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said to the accuser, "Go away; perhaps he is better than you."

حضرت ابوالطفیل رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک آدمی کچھ لوگوں کے پاس سے گذرا اس نے انہیں سلام کیا لوگوں نے اس کے سلام کا جواب دیا جب وہ آدمی آگے بڑھ گیا تو ان لوگوں میں سے ایک نے کہا کہ بخدا! میں اللہ کی راہ میں اس سے بغض رکھتا ہوں اہل مجلس نے اس سے کہا کہ تم نے بہت بری بات کی ہے بخدا! ہم اسے یہ بات ضروربتائیں گے، پھر ایک آدمی سے کہا کہ اے فلاں! کھڑا ہو اور جا کر اسے یہ بات بتادے چناچہ قاصد نے اسے جالیا اور یہ بات بتادی وہ آدمی وہاں سے پلٹ کر نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا اور عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ! مسلمانوں کی ایک مجلس پر میرا گذر ہوا میں نے انہیں سلام کیا ان میں فلاں آدمی بھی تھا ان سب نے میرے سلام کا جواب دیا جب میں آگے بڑھ گیا تو ان میں سے ایک آدمی میرے پاس آیا اور اس نے مجھے بتایا کہ فلاں آدمی کا یہ کہنا ہے کہ میں اس سے بغض فی اللہ رکھتا ہوں آپ اسے بلا کر پوچھئے کہ وہ مجھ سے کس بنا پر بغض رکھتا ہے؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے اسے بلایا اور اس بات کے متعلق دریافت فرمایا اس نے اپنی بات کا اعتراف کرلیا اور کہا کہ یا رسول اللہ! میں نے یہ بات کہی ہے نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ تم اس سے بغض کیوں رکھتے ہو؟ اس نے کہا کہ میں اس کا پڑوسی ہوں اور اس کے حالات سے باخبر ہوں بخدا! میں نے اسے اس فرض نماز جسے نیک اور فاجر لوگ ہی پڑھتے ہیں کے علاوہ کبھی کوئی نماز نہیں پڑھتے ہوئے دیکھا اس شخص نے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ! اس سے پوچھئے کہ کیا اس نے مجھے کبھی بھی نماز کو اس کے وقت سے مؤخر کرتے ہوئے دیکھا ہے؟ وضو غلط کرتے ہوئے دیکھا ہے؟ یا رکوع و سجود میں کبھی غلطی کرتے ہوئے دیکھا ہے؟ نبی کریم ﷺ کے پوچھنے پر اس نے کہا نہیں پھر کہنے لگا میں نے اسے کبھی روزہ رکھتے ہوئے نہیں دیکھا سوائے اس مہینے کے جس کا روزہ نیک اور فاجر ہی رکھتے ہیں اس نے کہا یا رسول اللہ! اس سے پوچھئے کہ کیا کبھی اس نے مجھے اس مہینے میں کسی دن روزے کا ناغہ کرتے ہوئے دیکھا ہے؟ یا میں نے اس کے حق میں کوئی کمی کی ہے؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے اس سے پوچھا تو اس نے کہا نہیں۔ پھر اس نے کہا کہ واللہ میں نے اسے کبھی کسی سائل کو کچھ دیتے ہوئے نہیں دیکھا اور میں نے اسے اپنے مال میں سے اللہ کے راستہ میں کچھ خرچ کرتے ہوئے نہیں دیکھا سوائے اس زکوٰۃ کے جو نیک اور فاجر ہی ادا کرتے ہیں اس نے عرض کیا کہ یا رسول اللہ اس سے پوچھئے کہ کی میں نے زکوٰۃ کا مال چھپایا ہے؟ یا اسے طلب کرنے والے کو کم دیا ہے؟ نبی کریم ﷺ کے پوچھنے پر اس نے کہا نہیں نبی کریم ﷺ نے اس معترض سے فرمایا کہ اٹھ جاؤ میں نہیں جانتا شاید یہی تم سے بہتر ہو۔
Hazrat Abu al Tufayl (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek aadmi kuchh logon ke paas se guzra usne unhen salam kiya logon ne uske salam ka jawab diya jab woh aadmi aage badh gaya to un logon mein se ek ne kaha ki Khuda! mein Allah ki rah mein us se bughz rakhta hun ahle majlis ne us se kaha ki tum ne bahut buri baat ki hai Khuda! hum use yeh baat zaroor bataenge, phir ek aadmi se kaha ki aye falan! khara ho aur ja kar use yeh baat batade chunancha qasid ne use jaliya aur yeh baat batadi woh aadmi wahan se palat kar Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir hua aur arz kiya Ya Rasul Allah! Musalmanon ki ek majlis par mera guzar hua mein ne unhen salam kiya un mein falan aadmi bhi tha un sab ne mere salam ka jawab diya jab mein aage badh gaya to un mein se ek aadmi mere paas aaya aur usne mujhe bataya ki falan aadmi ka yeh kehna hai ki mein us se bughz fi Allah rakhta hun aap use bula kar poochhe ki woh mujh se kis bina par bughz rakhta hai? Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne use bulaya aur is baat ke mutalliq daryaft farmaya usne apni baat ka aiteraf karliya aur kaha ki Ya Rasul Allah! mein ne yeh baat kahi hai Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki tum us se bughz kyon rakhte ho? usne kaha ki mein us ka padosi hun aur us ke halat se bakhabar hun Khuda! mein ne use is farz namaz jise nek aur fajir log hi parhte hain ke alawa kabhi koi namaz nahin parhte huye dekha is shakhs ne arz kiya Ya Rasul Allah! is se poochhe ki kya is ne mujhe kabhi bhi namaz ko us ke waqt se moakhir karte huye dekha hai? wuzu ghalat karte huye dekha hai? ya ruku w sujud mein kabhi ghalti karte huye dekha hai? Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke poochhne par usne kaha nahin phir kehne laga mein ne use kabhi roza rakhte huye nahin dekha siwaye is mahine ke jis ka roza nek aur fajir hi rakhte hain usne kaha Ya Rasul Allah! is se poochhe ki kya kabhi is ne mujhe is mahine mein kisi din roza ka nagha karte huye dekha hai? ya mein ne us ke haq mein koi kami ki hai? Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne us se poocha to usne kaha nahin. phir usne kaha ki Wallahi mein ne use kabhi kisi sail ko kuchh dete huye nahin dekha aur mein ne use apne mal mein se Allah ke raste mein kuchh kharch karte huye nahin dekha siwaye is zakat ke jo nek aur fajir hi ada karte hain usne arz kiya ki Ya Rasul Allah is se poochhe ki kya mein ne zakat ka mal chhupaya hai? ya use talab karne wale ko kam diya hai? Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke poochhne par usne kaha nahin Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne is muatariz se farmaya ki uth jao mein nahin janta shayad yahi tum se behtar ho.
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Al-Tufail (may Allah be pleased with him) that during the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), a man had a child. He took his child to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), who rubbed his hand over the child's forehead and prayed for blessings for him. Consequently, a hair grew on the child's forehead, resembling a bow. The boy grew up, and when the time of the Khawarij came, he developed affection for them. The misfortune of this was that the hair on his forehead fell off. His father caught him, tied his feet, and kept him imprisoned so that he could not join the Khawarij. One day, we went to him, explained things to him, and among many other things, we said, "Don't you see that the blessing of the Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayer has disappeared from your forehead?" We continued to advise him until he abandoned his views. After some time, Allah made that hair grow back on his forehead, and he repented.

حضرت ابوالطفیل رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ عہد نبوت میں ایک آدمی کے یہاں ایک بچہ پیدا ہوا وہ شخص اپنے بچے کو لے کر نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا تو نبی کریم ﷺ نے اس کی پیشانی پر ہاتھ پھیرا اور اس کے لئے برکت کی دعا کی چناچہ اس بچے کی پیشانی پر کمان کی طرح ایک بال اگ آیا وہ لڑکا جوان ہوگیا جب خوارج کا زمانہ آیا تو وہ خوراج سے محبت رکھنے لگا جس کی نحوست یہ ہوئی کہ اس کی پیشانی کا وہ بال جھڑ گیا اس کے باپ نے اسے پکڑ کر اسے پاؤں میں بیڑی ڈال کر بند کردیا تاکہ وہ خوارج کے ساتھ ہی جا نہ ملے ایک دن ہم لوگ اس کے پاس گئے اور اسے سمجھایا اور بہت ساری باتوں کے علاوہ اس سے یہ بھی کہا کہ تم یہ نہیں دیکھ رہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ کی دعا کی برکت تمہاری پیشانی سے جھڑگئی ہے ہم اسے مسلسل سمجھاتے رہے حتٰی کہ وہ ان کی رائے سے باز آگیا اور کچھ عرصے بعد اللہ نے اس کی پیشانی پر دوبارہ وہ بال اگا دیا اور اس نے توبہ کرلی۔
Hazrat Abu Lutfail (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ahd e nabvi mein ek aadmi ke yahan ek baccha paida hua wo shakhs apne bacche ko lekar Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir hua to Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne uski peshani par hath phera aur uske liye barkat ki dua ki chunancha us bacche ki peshani par kaman ki tarah ek baal ug aaya wo ladka jawan hogaya jab khawarij ka zamana aaya to wo khawarij se muhabbat rakhne laga jiski nahusat ye hui ki uski peshani ka wo baal jhad gaya uske baap ne use pakad kar use paon mein beri daal kar band kar diya taake wo khawarij ke sath hi ja na milay ek din hum log uske pass gaye aur use samjhaya aur bohat sari baaton ke ilawa us se ye bhi kaha ki tum ye nahi dekh rahe ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki dua ki barkat tumhari peshani se jhad gayi hai hum use musalsal samjhate rahe hat ta ke wo unki rai se baz aagaya aur kuch arsa baad Allah ne uski peshani par dobara wo baal uga diya aur usne tauba karli.
It is narrated by Abu Talha (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performed Ramal (fast-paced walk) in three rounds from the Black Stone to the Black Stone.
