Narrated by Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman bin Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with them both): Once, Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddique (may Allah be pleased with him) brought some guests home. He spent the evening with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). When he returned at night, his wife said, "Where were you tonight, forgetting your guests?" He asked, "Didn't you serve them dinner?" She replied, "No! I offered them food, but they refused to eat and swore that they would not eat until you joined them." Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) exclaimed, "This is from Satan!" He immediately asked for the food, ate some himself, and then the guests also joined him. As they ate, the food miraculously replenished itself. Astonished, Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) asked his wife, "O sister of Banu Firas! What is this?" She replied, "O coolness of my eyes! It has increased beyond its original quantity." They all ate from the food and also sent some to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the narrator mentioned that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also partook of that food.

سیدنا عبدالرحمن بن ابی بکر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ سیدنا ابوبکر صدیق رضی اللہ عنہ کچھ مہمانوں کو لے کر آئے، خود انہوں نے شام کا وقت نبی ﷺ کے پاس گذارا، رات کو جب وہ واپس آئے تو والدہ نے ان سے کہا کہ آج رات آپ اپنے مہمانوں کو بھول کر کہاں رہے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا: کیا تم نے انہیں رات کا کھانا نہیں کھلایا؟ انہوں نے کہا: نہیں! میں نے تو ان کے سامنے کھانا لاکر پیش کر دیا تھا لیکن انہوں نے ہی کھانے سے انکار کر دیا، اس پر وہ ناراض ہو گئے اور قسم کھائی کہ وہ کھانا نہیں کھائیں گے، مہمانوں نے بھی قسم کھا لی کہ وہ اس وقت تک نہیں کھائیں گے جب تک سیدنا ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ نہیں کھائیں گے، جب نوبت یہاں تک پہنچ گئی تو سیدنا ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا کہ یہ تو شیطان کی طرف سے ہو گیا ہے۔ پھر انہوں نے کھانا منگوایا اور خود بھی کھایا اور مہمانوں نے بھی کھایا، یہ لوگ جو لقمہ بھی اٹھاتے تھے، اس میں نیچے سے مزید اضافہ ہو جاتا تھا، سیدنا ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ نے اپنی اہلیہ کو مخاطب کر کے فرمایا: اے بنو فراس کی بہن! یہ کیا ماجرا ہے؟ انہوں نے کہا: اے میری آنکھوں کی ٹھنڈک! یہ تو اصل مقدار سے بھی زیادہ ہو گیا ہے، چنانچہ ان سب نے یہ کھانا کھایا اور نبی ﷺ کو بھی بھجوایا، اور راوی نے ذکر کیا کہ نبی ﷺ نے بھی اس کھانے کو تناول فرمایا۔
Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman bin Abi Bakr ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki ek martaba Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddiq (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kuch mehmano ko lekar aaye, khud unhon ne sham ka waqt Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke paas guzara, raat ko jab wo wapas aaye to walida ne unse kaha ki aaj raat aap apne mehmano ko bhul kar kahan rahe? Unhon ne farmaya: kya tumne unhen raat ka khana nahin khilaya? Unhon ne kaha: nahin! Maine to unke samne khana lakar pesh kar diya tha lekin unhon ne hi khane se inkar kar diya, is par wo naraz ho gaye aur qasam khai ki wo khana nahin khayenge, mehmano ne bhi qasam kha li ki wo is waqt tak nahin khayenge jab tak Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) nahin khayenge, jab nobat yahan tak pahunch gayi to Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne farmaya ki yeh to shaitan ki taraf se ho gaya hai. Phir unhon ne khana mangwaya aur khud bhi khaya aur mehmano ne bhi khaya, yeh log jo luqma bhi uthate the, usme niche se mazeed izafa ho jata tha, Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne apni ahliya ko mukhatib kar ke farmaya: aye binu firas ki behen! Yeh kya maajra hai? Unhon ne kaha: aye meri aankhon ki thandak! Yeh to asal miqdar se bhi zyada ho gaya hai, chunancha un sab ne yeh khana khaya aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko bhi bhejwaya, aur rawi ne zikar kiya ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne bhi is khane ko tanaul farmaya.
Sayyidina 'Abdur-Rahman bin Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that once we were one hundred and thirty people with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked: “Does anyone among you have any food?” A Sa' (unit of measurement) of flour was found with one man. It was kneaded, and in the meantime, a fat, young, tall polytheist came driving a goat. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked him: “Have you brought this to sell or as a gift?” He said that he brought it to sell. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) bought the goat from him and it was also put to be cooked. On this occasion, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) also ordered that “its liver should be roasted.” By Allah! Out of one hundred and thirty of us, there was not a single one to whom the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not give a piece of the roasted liver. He gave to those who were present at that time and saved some for those who were not present. Then, the food was brought out in two large bowls. We all ate and ate our fill, but some food was still left in the bowls. We loaded it on our camels.

سیدنا عبدالرحمن بن ابی بکر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ ہم ایک سو تیس آدمی تھے، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”کیا تم میں سے کسی کے پاس کچھ کھانا ہے؟“ ایک آدمی کے پاس سے ایک صاع آٹا نکلا، اسے گوندھا گیا، اتنی دیر میں ایک موٹا تازہ لمبا تڑنگا مشرک ایک بکری ہانکتا ہوا لایا، نبی ﷺ نے اس سے پوچھا کہ ”یہ بیچنے کے لئے لائے ہو یا ہدیہ کے طور پر لائے ہو؟“ اس نے کہا کہ بیچنے کے لئے، نبی ﷺ نے اس سے وہ بکری خرید لی اور اسے بھی تیار کیا جانے لگا۔ نبی ﷺ نے اس موقع پر یہ حکم بھی دیا کہ ”اس کی کلیجی بھون لی جائے۔“ واللہ! ہم ایک سو تیس آدمیوں میں سے ایک بھی ایسا نہ تھا جسے نبی ﷺ نے کلیجی کی بوٹی کاٹ کر نہ دی ہو، جو موجود تھے انہیں اسی وقت اور جو موجود نہیں تھے ان کے لئے بچا کر رکھ لی، پھر دو بڑے پیالوں میں کھانا نکالا، ہم سب نے کھایا اور خوب سیر ہو کر کھایا لیکن پیالوں میں پھر بھی کچھ بچ گیا، ہم نے اسے اپنے اونٹ پر لاد لیا۔
Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman bin Abi Bakr ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a kehte hain ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath hum ek sau tees aadmi the, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Kya tum mein se kisi ke pass kuchh khana hai?" Ek aadmi ke pass se ek sa'a aata nikla, use gundha gaya, itni der mein ek mota taza lamba tranga mushrik ek bakri hankta hua laya, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne us se puchha ki "Yeh bechne ke liye laaye ho ya hadiya ke taur par laaye ho?" Usne kaha ki bechne ke liye, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne us se woh bakri kharid li aur use bhi taiyar kiye jane laga. Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne is mauqe par yeh hukm bhi diya ki "Is ki kaliji bhoun li jaye." Wallahi! Hum ek sau tees aadmiyon mein se ek bhi aisa na tha jise Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne kaliji ki boti kat kar na di ho, jo maujood the unhen usi waqt aur jo maujood nahin the un ke liye bacha kar rakh li, phir do bade pyalon mein khana nikala, hum sab ne khaya aur khoob ser ho kar khaya lekin pyalon mein phir bhi kuchh bach gaya, hum ne use apne unt par lad liya.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna ‘Abd al-Rahman (may Allah be pleased with him) that the People of the Verandah were poor. Once, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever has food for two people, let him take a third with him, and whoever has food for four, let him take a fifth and a sixth.” Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) took three people with him, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) took ten people with him.

سیدنا عبدالرحمن رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ اصحاب صفہ تنگدست لوگ تھے، ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”جس کے پاس دو آدمیوں کا کھانا ہو وہ اپنے ساتھ تیسرے کو لے جائے، جس کے پاس چار کا کھانا ہو وہ پانچویں چھٹے کو لے جائے۔“ سیدنا ابوبکر صدیق رضی اللہ عنہ اپنے ساتھ تین آدمیوں کو لے گئے، اور نبی ﷺ دس افراد کو اپنے ساتھ لے گئے۔
Sayyeda Abdur Rahman Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai keh Ashabe Suffa tangdasth log thay, aik martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: “Jis ke pass do admiyon ka khana ho wo apne sath teesre ko le jaye, jis ke pass chaar ka khana ho wo panchwen chhathe ko le jaye.” Sayyeda Abubakar Siddique Raziallahu Anhu apne sath teen admiyon ko le gaye, aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) das afrad ko apne sath le gaye.
Narrated by Sayyiduna 'Abdur-Rahman bin Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered me to take Sayyida 'Aisha Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) behind me to Tan'im and perform 'Umrah with her.

سیدنا عبدالرحمن بن ابی بکر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے مجھے حکم دیا کہ سیدہ عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا کو اپنے پیچھے بٹھا کر تنعیم لے جاؤں اور انہیں عمرہ کرا لاؤں۔
Sayyidna Abdur Rahman bin Abi Bakr ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mujhe hukum diya ki Sayyida Ayesha Siddiqa ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) ko apne peeche bitha kar Tan'im le jaon aur unhen Umrah kara laun.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna 'Abdur Rahman bin Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "My Lord has bestowed upon me from my Ummah seventy thousand who will enter Paradise without being reckoned or punished." Sayyiduna 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) asked: "O Messenger of Allah! Did you not ask for more than that?" He replied: "I did ask, so Allah granted me with each one of them another seventy thousand." Sayyiduna 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) again asked: "O Messenger of Allah! Did you not ask for more than that?" He replied: "I did ask, so Allah granted me even more." Saying this, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) spread out his hands, explaining which the narrator says that only Allah knows such a large number.

سیدنا عبدالرحمن بن ابی بکر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”میرے رب نے میری امت میں سے مجھے ستر ہزار ایسے افراد عطاء کئے ہیں جو جنت میں بلا حساب کتاب داخل ہوں گے۔“ سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! آپ نے اس سے زائد کی درخواست نہیں کی؟ فرمایا: ”میں نے درخواست کی تھی جس پر اللہ نے مجھے ان میں سے ہر ایک کے ساتھ مزید ستر ہزار عطاء فرما دیئے۔“ سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے پھر عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! آپ نے اس سے زائد کی درخواست نہیں کی؟ فرمایا: ”میں نے درخواست کی تھی جس پر اللہ نے مجھے اتنے اور افراد عطاء فرمائے۔“ یہ کہہ کر آپ ﷺ نے اپنے ہاتھ پھیلا دیئے، جس کی وضاحت کرتے ہوئے راوی کہتے ہیں کہ اتنی بڑی تعداد جسے اللہ کے علاوہ کوئی نہیں جانتا۔
Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman bin Abi Bakr ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: “Mere Rab ne meri ummat mein se mujhe sattar hazaar aise afrad ataa kiye hain jo jannat mein bila hisab kitab dakhil honge.” Sayyiduna Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne arz kiya: Ya Rasul Allah! Aap ne is se zaid ki darkhwast nahin ki? Farmaya: “Main ne darkhwast ki thi jis par Allah ne mujhe in mein se har ek ke sath mazeed sattar hazaar ataa farma diye.” Sayyiduna Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne phir arz kiya: Ya Rasul Allah! Aap ne is se zaid ki darkhwast nahin ki? Farmaya: “Main ne darkhwast ki thi jis par Allah ne mujhe itne aur afrad ataa farmaye.” Ye kah kar aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne apne hath phela diye, jis ki wazahat karte huye ravi kahte hain ki itni badi tadad jise Allah ke ilawa koi nahin janta.
It is narrated by Abdullah bin Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with both of them) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Allah Almighty will call the debtor on the Day of Judgment and make him stand before Him and ask him, ‘O servant! Where did you squander the wealth of the people?’ He will say, ‘O Lord! You know that I did not squander it, rather it was lost at sea, burnt in fire, stolen, or spent in paying taxes.’ Upon hearing this, Allah Almighty will order something to be brought and placed on his scale of good deeds, which will make the side of his good deeds heavy and tip the scales in his favor.”

سیدنا عبدالرحمن بن ابی بکر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”اللہ تعالیٰ قیامت کے دن مقروض کو بلا کر اپنے سامنے کھڑا کریں گے اور اس سے پوچھیں گے کہ ”بندے! تو نے لوگوں کا مال کہاں اڑایا؟“ وہ عرض کرے گا: پروردگار! آپ تو جانتے ہیں کہ میں نے اسے یونہی برباد نہیں کیا، بلکہ وہ تو سمندر میں ڈوب کر، جل کر، چوری ہو کر یا ٹیکسوں کی ادائیگی میں ضائع ہو گیا۔ یہ سن کر اللہ تعالیٰ کوئی چیز منگوا کر اس کے میزان عمل میں رکھ دیں گے جس سے اس کی نیکیوں کا پلڑا بھاری ہو کر جھک جائے گا۔“
Sayyidna Abdul Rahman bin Abi Bakr razi Allah anhuma se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya Allah ta'ala qayamat ke din maqrooz ko bula kar apne samne khada karenge aur us se poochenge ki bande tune logon ka maal kahan udaya woh arz karega Parvardigar aap to jante hain ki maine use yunhi barbaad nahin kiya balki woh to samundar mein doob kar jal kar chori ho kar ya taxo ki adaegi mein zaya ho gaya yeh sunkar Allah ta'ala koi cheez mangwa kar uske mizan amal mein rakh denge jisse uski nekiyon ka palda bhari ho kar jhuk jaega
Narrated by Sayyiduna 'Abdur-Rahman bin Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Allah Almighty will summon the debtor on the Day of Judgment and make him stand before Him, and He will ask him, 'O My servant! Where did you spend the wealth that you took as a loan from people?' He will say, 'O Lord! You know that I took it, but I could neither eat it nor drink it, nor could I wear it, nor did I waste it, but it was lost at sea, burnt in a fire, stolen, or spent in paying taxes.' Upon hearing this, Allah Almighty will say, 'My servant has spoken the truth. Today, it is more befitting for Me to repay your debt on your behalf.' Then Allah Almighty will order something to be brought and placed in his scale of good deeds, which will make his scale of good deeds heavier and tilt it, and he will enter Paradise by the grace of Allah."

سیدنا عبدالرحمن بن ابی بکر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”اللہ تعالیٰ قیامت کے دن مقروض کو بلا کر اپنے سامنے کھڑا کریں گے اور اس سے پوچھیں گے کہ ”بندے! تو نے لوگوں سے قرض لے کر ان کا مال کہاں اڑایا؟“ وہ عرض کرے گا: پروردگار! آپ تو جانتے ہیں کہ میں نے اسے لیا تھا لیکن میں اسے کھا سکا اور نہ پی سکا، میں اسے پہن بھی نہیں سکا اور یونہی برباد نہیں کیا، بلکہ وہ تو سمندر میں ڈوب کر، جل کر، چوری ہو کر یا ٹیکسوں کی ادائیگی میں ضائع ہو گیا۔ یہ سن کر اللہ تعالیٰ فرمائیں گے کہ ”میرے بندے نے سچ کہا، میں اس بات کا زیادہ حقدار ہوں کہ آج تمہاری طرف تمہارا قرض ادا کروں“، پھر اللہ تعالیٰ کوئی چیز منگوا کر اس کے میزان عمل میں رکھ دیں گے جس سے اس کی نیکیوں کا پلڑا بھاری ہو کر جھک جائے گا، اور وہ اللہ کے فضل سے جنت میں داخل ہوجائے گا۔“
Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman bin Abi Bakr ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: "Allah Ta'ala qayamat ke din maqrooz ko bula kar apne samne khara karenge aur us se poochenge ki "Bande! Tu ne logon se qarz le kar un ka maal kahan uraya?" Woh arz karega: Parvardigaar! Aap to jante hain ki maine use liya tha lekin main use kha saka aur na pi saka, main use pehen bhi nahin saka aur yoonhi barbaad nahin kiya, balki woh to samandar mein doob kar, jal kar, chori ho kar ya taxon ki adaegi mein zaya ho gaya. Yeh sun kar Allah Ta'ala farmaenge ki "Mere bande ne sach kaha, main is baat ka zyada haqdaar hoon ki aaj tumhari taraf tumhara qarz ada karoon", phir Allah Ta'ala koi cheez mangwa kar us ke mizan amal mein rakh denge jis se us ki nekiyon ka palra bhari ho kar jhuk jayega, aur woh Allah ke fazl se jannat mein dakhil ho jayega."
Our master, Abdur Rahman bin Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with them both), narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to him, "Ride this she-camel, and take your sister behind you. When you descend from the pass of Tan'im, pronounce the Talbiyah, enter the state of Ihram and then come back, meaning perform Umrah." This incident took place on the night of forgiveness (Laylatul Qadr).

سیدنا عبدالرحمن بن ابی بکر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ان سے فرمایا کہ ”اس اونٹنی پر سوار ہو، پیچھے اپنی بہن کو بٹھاؤ، جب تنعیم کے ٹیلے سے اترو تو تلبیہ و احرام کر کے واپس آ جاؤ یعنی عمرہ کرا لاؤ۔“ یہ موقع لیلۃ الصدر کا تھا۔
Sayyidna Abdur Rahman bin Abi Bakr Radi Allahu anhuma se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne un se farmaya ki “Is untni par sawar ho, peeche apni behan ko bithaao, jab Tan'eem ke teile se utro to talbiyah o ehram kar ke wapas aa jao yani umrah kara laao.” Yeh mauqa Laylatul Qadr ka tha.
Narrated by Sayyiduna 'Abdur-Rahman bin Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to him, "Ride this she-camel, and seat your sister behind you. When you descend from the slope of Tan'im, assume the state of Ihram by reciting the Talbiyah and return, that is, perform 'Umrah, for it will be an accepted 'Umrah."

سیدنا عبدالرحمن بن ابی بکر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ان سے فرمایا کہ ”اس اونٹنی پر سوار ہو، پیچھے اپنی بہن کو بٹھاؤ، جب تنعیم کے ٹیلے سے اترو تو تلبیہ و احرام کر کے واپس آجاؤ یعنی عمرہ کرا لاؤ، کہ یہ مقبول عمرہ ہوگا۔“
Sidna Abdar Rahman bin Abi Bakr Radi Allaho Anhuma se marvi hai ke Nabi Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne unse farmaya ke “Iss ontni pe sawar ho, peeche apni behan ko bithaao, jab Tan’im ke teile se utro to talbiya-o-ehram kar ke wapas aa jaao yani umrah kar laao, ke yeh maqbool umrah hoga.”.
Sayyidina 'Abdur-Rahman bin Abi Bakr (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that once we were one hundred and thirty people with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). In the meantime, a strong, hefty, tall polytheist came driving a goat. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked him, "Have you brought this for sale or as a gift?" He said, "For sale." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) bought the goat from him, and it was also put to be cooked. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) also ordered on this occasion, "Roast its liver." By Allah! Out of one hundred and thirty of us, there wasn't a single person to whom the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) didn't give a piece of the cooked liver. For those present, it was given right away, and for those not present, it was saved. Then, the food was taken out in two large bowls. We all ate and were fully satisfied, yet some food still remained in the bowls. We loaded it on our camel.

سیدنا عبدالرحمن بن ابی بکر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ ہم ایک سو تیس آدمی تھے، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”کیا تم میں سے کسی کے پاس کچھ کھانا ہے؟“ ایک آدمی کے پاس سے ایک صاع آٹا نکلا، اسے گوندھا گیا، اتنی دیر میں ایک موٹا تازہ لمبا تڑنگا مشرک ایک بکری ہانکتا ہوا لایا، نبی ﷺ نے اس سے پوچھا کہ ”یہ بیچنے کے لئے لائے ہو یا ہدیہ کے طور پر لائے ہو؟“ اس نے کہا کہ بیچنے کے لئے، نبی ﷺ نے اس سے وہ بکری خرید لی اور اسے بھی تیار کیا جانے لگا۔ نبی ﷺ نے اس موقع پر یہ حکم بھی دیا کہ ”اس کی کلیجی بھون لی جائے۔“ واللہ! ہم ایک سو تیس آدمیوں میں سے ایک بھی ایسا نہ تھا جسے نبی ﷺ نے کلیجی کی بوٹی کاٹ کر نہ دی ہو، جو موجود تھے انہیں اسی وقت اور جو موجود نہیں تھے ان کے لئے بچا کر رکھ لی، پھر دو بڑے پیالوں میں کھانا نکالا، ہم سب نے کھایا اور خوب سیر ہو کر کھایا لیکن پیالوں میں پھر بھی کچھ بچ گیا، ہم نے اسے اپنے اونٹ پر لاد لیا۔
Sayyedna Abdur Rahman bin Abi Bakr ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a kahte hain ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath hum ek sau tees aadmi the, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "kia tum mein se kisi ke pas kuch khana hai?" Ek aadmi ke pas se ek sa'a aata nikla, use gundha gaya, itni der mein ek mota taza lamba tranga mushrik ek bakri hankta hua laya, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne us se pucha ki "yeh bechne ke liye laaye ho ya hadiya ke taur par laaye ho?" usne kaha ki bechne ke liye, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne us se woh bakri khareed li aur use bhi taiyar kiye jane laga. Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne is mauqe par yeh hukum bhi diya ki "is ki kalije bhoon li jaye." Wallah! Hum ek sau tees aadmiyon mein se ek bhi aisa na tha jise Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne kalije ki boti kaat kar na di ho, jo maujood the unhen usi waqt aur jo maujood nahin the un ke liye bacha kar rakh li, phir do bade pyalon mein khana nikala, hum sab ne khaya aur khoob ser ho kar khaya lekin pyalon mein phir bhi kuch bach gaya, hum ne use apne unt par laad liya.
It is narrated on the authority of Abdullah bin Abdur Rahman (may Allah be pleased with him) that the people of As-Suffah were poor. Once, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever has food for two people should take a third with him, and whoever has food for four should take a fifth or a sixth." Abu Bakr Siddique (may Allah be pleased with him) took three people with him, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) took ten people with him.
Abdullah bin Abdur Rahman (may Allah be pleased with him) said that in my house there were my parents (probably mentioning his wife too) and a servant who was shared between us. That day Abu Bakr Siddique (may Allah be pleased with him) spent the evening with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). When he returned at night, his wife said to him, "Where were you tonight, forgetting your guests?" He said, "Didn't you feed them dinner?" She said, "No! I offered them food, but they refused to eat. I went and hid myself. Abu Bakr Siddique (may Allah be pleased with him) called out to me in a very harsh tone, then said to the guests, 'Eat, you did not do well,' and swore that he would not eat. The guests also swore that they would not eat until Abu Bakr Siddique (may Allah be pleased with him) ate. When the matter reached this point, Abu Bakr Siddique (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "This is from Satan." Then he asked for food and ate himself, and the guests also ate. Every morsel they lifted, more was added from beneath it, until they were all satisfied and there was even more food left over than before.
Abu Bakr Siddique (may Allah be pleased with him) addressed his wife, saying, "O sister of Banu Firas! What is this matter?" She said, "O coolness of my eyes! This has become three times the original amount." So they all ate this food, and some was sent to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The narrator mentioned that there was a treaty between us and another nation. When its term expired, we appointed twelve leaders, each of whom had some people with them, the exact number of which is known only to Allah, but it is clear that they were also included. And they all ate from this food as well.

سیدنا عبدالرحمن رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ اصحاب صفہ تنگدست لوگ تھے، ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”جس کے پاس دو آدمیوں کا کھانا ہو وہ اپنے ساتھ تیسرے کو لے جائے، جس کے پاس چار کا کھانا ہو وہ پانچویں چھٹے کو لے جائے۔“ سیدنا ابوبکر صدیق رضی اللہ عنہ اپنے ساتھ تین آدمیوں کو لے گئے اور نبی ﷺ دس افراد کو اپنے ساتھ لے گئے۔ عبدالرحمن رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میرے گھر میں میرے علاوہ والدین (غالبا بیوی کا بھی ذکر کیا) اور ایک خادم رہتا تھا جو ہمارے درمیان مشترک تھا، اس دن سیدنا ابوبکر صدیق رضی اللہ عنہ نے شام کا وقت نبی ﷺ کے پاس گذارا، رات کو جب وہ واپس آئے تو والدہ نے ان سے کہا کہ آج رات آپ اپنے مہمانوں کو بھول کر کہاں رہے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا: کیا تم نے انہیں رات کا کھانا نہیں کھلایا؟ انہوں نے کہا: نہیں! میں نے تو ان کے سامنے کھانا لاکر پیش کر دیا تھا لیکن انہوں نے ہی کھانے سے انکار کر دیا، میں جا کر ایک جگہ چھپ گیا، سیدنا ابوبکر صدیق رضی اللہ عنہ نے مجھے سخت سست کہتے ہوئے آوازیں دیں، پھر مہمانوں سے فرمایا: کھاؤ، تم نے اچھا نہیں کیا، اور قسم کھائی کہ وہ کھانا نہیں کھائیں گے، مہمانوں نے بھی قسم کھا لی کہ وہ اس وقت تک نہیں کھائیں گے جب تک سیدنا ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ نہیں کھائیں گے، جب نوبت یہاں تک پہنچ گئی تو سیدنا ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا کہ یہ تو شیطان کی طرف سے ہو گیا ہے۔ پھر انہوں نے کھانا منگوایا اور خود بھی کھایا اور مہمانوں نے بھی کھایا، یہ لوگ جو لقمہ بھی اٹھاتے تھے، اس میں نیچے سے مزید اضافہ ہو جاتا تھا، حتی کہ وہ سب سیراب ہو گئے اور کھانا پہلے سے بھی زیادہ بچ رہا، سیدنا ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ نے اپنی اہلیہ کو مخاطب کر کے فرمایا: اے بنو فراس کی بہن! یہ کیا ماجرا ہے؟ انہوں نے کہا: اے میری آنکھوں کی ٹھنڈک! یہ تو اصل مقدار سے بھی تین گنا زیادہ ہو گیا ہے، چنانچہ ان سب نے یہ کھانا کھایا اور نبی ﷺ کو بھی بھجوایا، اور راوی نے ذکر کیا کہ ہمارے اور ایک قوم کے درمیان ایک معاہدہ تھا، اس کی مدت ختم ہو گئی، ہم نے بارہ آدمیوں کو چوہدری مقرر کیا جن میں سے ہر ایک کے ساتھ کچھ آدمی تھے، جن کی صحیح تعداد اللہ ہی کو معلوم ہے، التبہ یہ واضح ہے کہ وہ بھی ان کے ساتھ شامل تھے، اور ان سب نے بھی اس کھانے کو کھایا۔
Sayyidna Abdur Rahman (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Ashab Suffa tangdasht log thay, ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: “Jis ke pas do admiyon ka khana ho woh apne sath teesre ko le jaye, jis ke pas chaar ka khana ho woh panchwen chhathe ko le jaye.” Sayyidna Abu Bakr Siddiq (رضي الله تعالى عنه) apne sath teen admiyon ko le gaye aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) das afrad ko apne sath le gaye. Abdur Rahman (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ki mere ghar mein mere ilawa waldain (ghaliban biwi ka bhi zikr kiya) aur ek khadim rehta tha jo humare darmiyan mushtareek tha, is din Sayyidna Abu Bakr Siddiq (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne sham ka waqt Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke pas guzara, raat ko jab woh wapas aaye to walida ne un se kaha ki aaj raat aap apne mehmano ko bhul kar kahan rahe? Unhon ne farmaya: kya tum ne unhen raat ka khana nahin khilaya? Unhon ne kaha: nahin! Main ne to un ke samne khana la kar pesh kar diya tha lekin unhon ne hi khane se inkar kar diya, main ja kar ek jagah chhup gaya, Sayyidna Abu Bakr Siddiq (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne mujhe sakht sust kehte huye aawazain di, phir mehmano se farmaya: khao, tum ne achcha nahin kiya, aur qasam khai ki woh khana nahin khayenge, mehmano ne bhi qasam kha li ki woh is waqt tak nahin khayenge jab tak Sayyidna Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) nahin khayenge, jab nobat yahan tak pahunch gai to Sayyidna Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne farmaya ki yeh to shaitan ki taraf se ho gaya hai. Phir unhon ne khana manguwaya aur khud bhi khaya aur mehmano ne bhi khaya, yeh log jo luqma bhi uthate thay, us mein neeche se mazeed izafa ho jata tha, hatta ki woh sab sirab ho gaye aur khana pehle se bhi zyada bach raha, Sayyidna Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne apni ahlia ko mukhatib kar ke farmaya: aye bannu faras ki behen! Yeh kya majra hai? Unhon ne kaha: aye meri aankhon ki thandak! Yeh to asal miqdar se bhi teen guna zyada ho gaya hai, chunancha un sab ne yeh khana khaya aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko bhi bhejwaya, aur ravi ne zikr kiya ki humare aur ek qaum ke darmiyan ek muaheda tha, is ki muddat khatam ho gai, hum ne barah admiyon ko chauhdari muqarrar kiya jin mein se har ek ke sath kuch admi thay, jin ki sahih tadad Allah hi ko maloom hai, albatta yeh wazeh hai ki woh bhi un ke sath shamil thay, aur un sab ne bhi is khane ko khaya.
