Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that when the prohibition of alcohol was revealed, Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) prayed to Allah: "O Allah! Reveal to us a comprehensive statement regarding this." So, this verse was revealed: {They ask you about intoxicants and gambling} [Al-Baqarah 2:219]. Then Umar prayed as he did before, so {O you who have believed, do not approach prayer while you are intoxicated…} [An-Nisa 4:43] was revealed. Then Umar prayed the same prayer, so {So will you desist?} [Al-Ma'idah 5:91] was revealed. Then Umar said: "We desist."

(١٧٣٢٤) حضرت عمر (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ جب شراب کی حرمت نازل ہوئی تو حضرت عمر (رض) نے اللہ سے دعا کی : اے اللہ ! ہمارے لیے اس بارے میں شافی بیان نازل فرماتو یہ آیت نازل ہوئی : { یَسْئَلُوْنَکَ عَنِ الْخَمْرِ وَ الْمَیْسِرِ } [البقرۃ ٢١٩] پھر عمرنے پہلے کی طرح دعا کی تو { یٰٓأَیُّھَا الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا لَاتَقْرَبُوا الصَّلٰوۃَ وَ اَنْتُمْ سُکٰرٰی۔۔۔} [النساء ٤٣] نازل ہوئی، پھر حضرت عمر نے وہی دعا کی تو { فَھَلْ اَنْتُمْ مُّنْتَھُوْنَ } [المائدۃ ٩١] نازل ہوئی تو حضرت عمر نے کہا : ہم رک گئے۔
(17324) Hazrat Umar (RA) farmate hain ke jab sharaab ki hurmat nazil hui to Hazrat Umar (RA) ne Allah se dua ki : Aye Allah ! Humare liye is bare mein shafi bayan nazil farma, to yeh ayat nazil hui : { Ya'salunaka 'anil khamri wal maisiri } [Al-Baqarah 219] phir Umar ne pehle ki tarah dua ki to { Ya ayyuhal lazeena amanoo la taqrabus salata wa antum sukara } [An-Nisa 43] nazil hui, phir Hazrat Umar ne wohi dua ki to { Fa hal antum muntahoon } [Al-Ma'idah 91] nazil hui to Hazrat Umar ne kaha : Hum ruk gaye.
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The verses {They ask you about wine and gambling} [Al-Baqarah 219] and {Do not approach prayer while you are intoxicated} [An-Nisa 43] were both abrogated by the verse {Intoxicants, gambling, and divination by arrows are abominations} [Al-Ma'idah 90]."

(١٧٣٢٥) ابن عباس (رض) فرماتے ہیں : { یَسْئَلُوْنَکَ عَنِ الْخَمْرِ وَ الْمَیْسِرِ } [البقرۃ ٢١٩] اور { لَاتَقْرَبُوا الصَّلٰوۃَ وَ اَنْتُمْ سُکٰرٰی۔۔۔} [النساء ٤٣] { اِنَّمَا الْخَمْرُ وَ الْمَیْسِرُ وَ الْاَنْصَابُ۔۔۔} [المائدۃ ٩٠] سے دونوں منسوخ کردی گئی ہیں۔
Ibn Abbas (RA) farmate hain : { yas'alunaka 'anil khamri wal maisiri } [al baqarah 219] aur { la taqrabuz salata wa antum sukara } [al nisa 43] { innamal khamru wal maisiru wal ansabu } [al maidah 90] se donon mansukh kardi gai hain.
Narrated Sa`d: Four verses regarding the prohibition of wine were revealed, the narration of which has already preceded (in the Hadith). A man from the Ansar prepared food and invited us to it. We drank wine (in the time of its permissibility) till we became intoxicated and started boasting of our superiority. The Ansar said, "We are better than you," while the Quraish said, "We are superior to you." A man from the Ansar struck the nose of Sa`d with the lower jawbone of a camel, and his nose bled. Then this Verse was revealed: "Intoxicants, gambling, Al-Ansab..." till He said: "Will you not then abstain?" (5.91).

(١٧٣٢٦) حضرت سعد سے روایت ہے کہ شراب کی حرمت میں چار آیتیں نازل ہوئی، جن کا ذکر حدیث میں گزر چکا۔ ایک آدمی نے انصار میں سے کھانا تیار کیا، پھر ہمیں بلایا۔ پھر ہم نے شراب پی حرمت سے پہلے۔ یہاں تک کہ ہم نشے میں مدہوش ہوگئے، پھر ہم نے فخر کیا، انصار نے کہا : ہم زیادہ فضیلت والے ہیں اور قریش نے کہا : ہم زیادہ فضیلت والے ہیں۔ انصار میں سے ایک آدمی نے داڑھی کے نیچے سے پکڑا اور سعد کے ناک پر مارا اس کا ناک پھٹ گیا تو پھر شراب کے بارے میں آیت نازل ہوئی : { اِنَّمَا الْخَمْرُ وَ الْمَیْسِرُ وَ الْاَنْصَابُ۔۔۔} الی قولہ { فَھَلْ اَنْتُمْ مُّنْتَھُوْنَ } [المائدۃ ٩١]
Hazrat Saad se riwayat hai keh sharaab ki hurmat mein chaar aayatein nazil huyein, jin ka zikr hadees mein guzar chuka. Ek aadmi ne Ansar mein se khana taiyar kiya, phir humein bulaya. Phir hum ne sharaab pi hurmat se pehle. Yahan tak keh hum nashe mein madhosh hogaye, phir hum ne fakhr kiya, Ansar ne kaha: Hum zyada fazilat wale hain aur Quresh ne kaha: Hum zyada fazilat wale hain. Ansar mein se ek aadmi ne darhi ke neeche se pakra aur Saad ke nak par mara us ka nak phat gaya to phir sharaab ke bare mein ayat nazil huyi: { Innama alkhamru walmaysiru wal ansaab...} ila qulihi { fahal antum muntahoon } [almaidah 91].
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the verse regarding the prohibition of alcohol was revealed when two tribes of the Ansar used to drink it. When the people became intoxicated and started joking with each other, upon sobering up, one man noticed marks on his face and head. He said, "My so-and-so brother did this to me," while there was no malice in their hearts before. Then Allah, the Exalted, revealed these verses: (Al-Ma'idah 5:90-91). And the people were talking amongst themselves that it is impure, and on the day of Uhud, such and such person was killed, so the verse was revealed: (Al-Ma'idah 5:93).

(١٧٣٢٧) ابن عباس (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ شراب کی حرمت کے بارے میں آیت نازل ہوئی، اس وقت انصار کے دو قبیلہ شراب پیتے تھے اور جب قوم والے مست ہوگئے اور آپس میں مذاق کرنے لگے۔ جب صحیح ہوئے تو ایک آدمی چہرے کی طرف اور اپنے سر کی طرف نشانات کو دیکھا۔ پھر کہا : یہ میرے ساتھ میرے فلاں بھائی نے کیا ہے اور آپس میں ان کے دلوں میں نفرت نہیں ہوتی تھی تو اللہ تعالیٰ نے یہ آیت نازل کردی : [المائدۃ ٩٠-٩١] اور لوگ آپس میں باتیں کرتے تھے کہ یہ ناپاک ہے اور احد والے دن فلاں آدمی قتل کیا گیا تو آیت نازل ہوئی : [المائدۃ ٩٣]
Ibn Abbas (Raz) farmate hain ke sharab ki hurmat ke bare mein ayat nazil hui, is waqt Ansar ke do qabila sharab pite thay aur jab qom wale mast hogaye aur aapas mein mazaq karne lage. Jab sahih hue to ek aadmi chehre ki taraf aur apne sar ki taraf nishanat ko dekha. Phir kaha: Yeh mere sath mere falan bhai ne kiya hai aur aapas mein un ke dilon mein nafrat nahi hoti thi to Allah ta'ala ne yeh ayat nazil kardi: [Al-Ma'idah 90-91] aur log aapas mein baaten karte thay ke yeh napak hai aur Uhud wale din falan aadmi qatl kiya gaya to ayat nazil hui: [Al-Ma'idah 93].
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: I was serving the people drink in the house of Abu Talha on the day when it (alcohol) was prohibited, and they used to prepare it from fresh and dry dates. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) called a man and said: Go out and see. I went out while the caller was proclaiming that alcohol has been prohibited. Anas said: Alcohol was poured out in the streets of Medina. Abu Talha said to me: Go out and pour it out. I poured it out. They said: So-and-so has died, so-and-so has died (meaning those in whose stomachs there was alcohol). Then this verse was revealed: [Al-Ma'idah 93].

(١٧٣٢٨) حضرت انس (رض) فرماتے ہیں : میں لوگوں کو ابو طلحہ کے گھر میں شراب پلا رہا تھا جس دن حرام ہوئی وہ شراب بناتے تھے۔ مگر تازہ و خشک کھجور کی، رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے آواز دینے والے کو بلایا اور فرمایا : تو نکل اور دیکھ۔ میں نکلا جب پکارنے والا پکار رہا تھا کہ شراب حرام کردی گئی ہے۔ انس کہتے ہیں : مدینے کی گلیوں میں شراب بہا دی گئی۔ ابو طلحہ نے مجھے کہا : تو نکل اور اس کو گرا دے ۔ میں نے اس کو گرا دیا ۔ انھوں نے کہا : فلاں قتل کیا گیا، فلاں قتل کیا گیا۔ جن کے پیٹ میں شراب ہے۔ پھر یہ آیت نازل ہوئی۔ [المائدۃ ٩٣]
Hazrat Anas (Razi Allahu Anhu) farmate hain : main logon ko Abu Talha ke ghar mein sharaab pila raha tha jis din haram hui woh sharaab banate thay. Magar taza o khushk khajoor ki, Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne aawaz dene wale ko bulaya aur farmaya : tu nikal aur dekh. Main nikla jab pukarne wala pukar raha tha ke sharaab haram kardi gai hai. Anas kahte hain : Madine ki galiyon mein sharaab baha di gai. Abu Talha ne mujhe kaha : tu nikal aur isko gira de . Main ne isko gira diya . Unhon ne kaha : falan qatl kiya gaya, falan qatl kiya gaya. Jin ke pet mein sharaab hai. Phir yeh ayat nazil hui. [Al-Maidah 93].
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: I was serving a drink made from dry dates to Ubaydah, Abu Talha and Ubayy bin Ka'b. Then someone came and said: Alcohol has been prohibited. Then Abu Talha said: O Anas! Break all these clay pots. Anas said: I got up and broke them.

(١٧٣٢٩) حضرت انس (رض) فرماتے ہیں : میں عبیدہ ، ابو طلحہ اور ابی بن کعب کو خشک کھجوروں کا شراب پلا رہا تھا۔ پھر آنے والا آیا اور اس نے کہا : شراب حرام ہوچکی ہے۔ پھر ابو طلحہ نے کہا : اے انس ! تو ان کے سارے مٹکوں کو توڑ دے۔ انس کہتے ہیں : میں کھڑا ہوا اور توڑ دیے۔
Hazrat Anas (RA) farmate hain : mein Ubaida, Abu Talha aur Abi bin Kaab ko khushk khajuron ka sharaab pila raha tha. Phir aane wala aaya aur usne kaha : sharaab haraam ho chuki hai. Phir Abu Talha ne kaha : aye Anas! tu in ke sare matkon ko tod de. Anas kahte hain : mein khara hua aur tod diye.
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that two cups were brought to the Messenger of Allah on the night of Isra (the Night Journey): one with wine and one with milk. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) took the cup of milk. Gabriel (peace be upon him) said, "All praise is due to Allah, Who has guided you to the Fitrah (natural disposition). If you had taken the wine, your Ummah (nation) would have gone astray."

(١٧٣٣١) حضرت ابوہریرہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ کے پاس معراج والی رات میں دو پیالے لائے گئے : ایک شراب کا، ایک دودھ کا تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے دودھ والے پیالے کو لیا تو جبرائیل (علیہ السلام) نے فرمایا : تمام تعریفیں اللہ کے لیے ہیں۔ وہ ذات جس نے آپ کو فطرت پر ہدایت دی۔ اگر آپ شراب کو لیتے تو آپ کی امت گمراہ ہوجاتی۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah (RA) farmate hain ke Rasool Allah ke pass Miraj wali raat mein do piyale laye gaye: aik sharaab ka, aik doodh ka to aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne doodh wale piyale ko liya to Jibraeel (Alaihissalam) ne farmaya: tamam tareefain Allah ke liye hain. Woh zaat jisne aap ko fitrat par hidayat di. Agar aap sharaab ko lete to aap ki ummat gumrah hojati.
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) received news about a man who was selling alcohol. Umar said: "So-and-so has fought against Allah, who has prohibited the sale of alcohol." And the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The Jews fought against Allah because the fat of (dead animals) was prohibited to them, but they used to collect and sell it."

(١٧٣٣٢) حضرت ابن عباس (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ عمر بن خطاب (رض) کو ایک آدمی کے متعلق خبر ملی کہ وہ شراب بیچتا ہے۔ عمر نے کہا : فلاں نے اللہ سے لڑائی کی ہے، جس نے شراب کو بیچا اور رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : یہودیوں نے اللہ سے قتال کیا کہ حرام کی گئی تھی ان پر چربی اور وہ چربی جمع کرتے اور بیچتے تھے۔
Hazrat Ibn Abbas (RA) farmate hain ke Umar bin Khattab (RA) ko ek aadmi ke mutaliq khabar mili ke woh sharaab bechta hai. Umar ne kaha : Fulan ne Allah se laraai ki hai, jisne sharaab ko becha aur Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : Yahoodiyon ne Allah se qitaal kiya ke haram ki gai thi un par charbi aur woh charbi jama karte aur bechte the.
Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that a man from the people of Iraq said: We buy dates and grapes, then we make wine from them, press it, and then we sell it. Abdullah said: I take Allah as a witness against you, and the angels, and whoever among the jinn and mankind is listening. I do not order you to buy it, nor to sell it, nor to press it, nor to drink it. It is filth and an evil deed.

(١٧٣٣٣) ابن عمر (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ اہل عراق میں سے کسی آدمی نے کہا کہ ہم کھجور اور انگوروں کا پھل خریدتے ہی، پھر ہم اس کی شراب بناتے، نچوڑتے ہیں پھر ہم اس کو بیچتے ہیں۔ عبداللہ نے فرمایا : میں تم پر اللہ کو گواہ بناتا ہوں اور فرشتوں کو اور جو جنوں اور انسانوں میں سے سن رہے ہیں۔ میں تمہیں حکم نہیں دیتا کہ تم اس کو خریدو، نہ بیچو اور نہ اس کو نچوڑو اور نہ تم پلاؤ یہ ناپاک ہے اور شیطانی عمل ہے۔
17333 Ibn Umar (RA) se riwayat hai keh ahl Iraq mein se kisi aadmi ne kaha keh hum khajoor aur angooron ka phal khareedte hi phir hum is ki sharab banate nichorte hain phir hum is ko bechte hain Abdullah ne farmaya main tum par Allah ko gawaah banata hun aur farishton ko aur jo jinn aur insano mein se sun rahe hain main tumhen hukm nahin deta keh tum is ko khareedo na becho aur na is ko nichoro aur na tum pilao ye napak hai aur shaitani amal hai
(17334) It is narrated on the authority of Zaid bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that his paternal uncle used to sell wine and give charity from its earnings. I forbade him but he did not stop. I went to Medina and met Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him). I asked him about wine and its price. Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "Wine is forbidden and its price is also forbidden." Ibn Abbas said, "O people of Muhammad's community! If there were to be a book after your Book and a Prophet after your Prophet, it would certainly have been revealed among you just as it was revealed among those before you, and your matter would not have been delayed until the Day of Judgment. By my life, this is more severe for you!"
Thabit says: Then I met Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) and asked him about wine. He said, "Soon I will tell you about wine." I was in the mosque with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He was among us, his back and calves tied together. Then he untied them and said, "Whoever has anything from wine should bring it." They brought the wine. One of them said, "I have some leftover." Another said, "I have a small amount." So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Gather it in Baqi' and inform me." Then you all came and I was with you. I stood on your right side, and you leaned on me and stood up. Abu Bakr came, and you made him stand on your right and me on your left. Then Umar came, and you made him stand on your left as well. Then you came to the wine between them both and asked, "Do you know what this is?" They said, "Yes, it is wine." You said, "You are right. Allah has cursed the wine, its squeezer, the one for whom it is squeezed, its drinker, its server, its carrier, the one who carries it, its seller, its buyer, and the one who consumes its price." Then you asked for a stick and said, "Bring it to me." They did so, and you began to tear the wineskins. The people said, "O Messenger of Allah! These are common household items." You said, "Yes, but I am doing this because it contains the displeasure of Allah." Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "I am sufficient for you, O Messenger of Allah!" You said, "No."

(١٧٣٣٤) زید بن ثابت (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ اس کا چچا شراب بیچتا ہے اور وہ اس سے صدقہ کرتا تھا۔ میں اس کو منع کرتا تھا۔ وہ اس سے نہیں رکا۔ میں مدینے کی طرف گیا۔ وہاں میں ابن عباس (رض) سے ملا۔ میں نے آپ (رض) سے شراب اور اس کی قیمت کے متعلق پوچھا۔ ابن عباس (رض) نے فرمایا : شراب حرام ہے اور اس کی قیمت بھی حرام ہے۔ ابن عباس نے کہا : اے امت محمدیہ کے معاشرے کے لوگو ! اگر تمہاری کتاب کے بعد کتاب ہوتی اور تمہارے نبی کے بعد نبی ہوتا البتہ وہ نازل ہوتا تم میں سے جس طرح نازل ہوئے تم سے پہلے اور نہیں مؤخر کیا جائے گا تمہارے معاملے کو قیامت کے دن تک البتہ میری عمر کی قسم ! ہے یہ تم پر زیادہ سخت ہے۔
حضرت ثابت فرماتے ہیں : پھر میں عبداللہ بن عمر (رض) کو ملا میں نے ان سے شراب کے بارے میں پوچھا : آپ (رض) نے فرمایا : عنقریب میں آپ کو شراب کے متعلق بتاؤں گا۔ مسجد میں میں رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ساتھ تھا۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ہمارے درمیان تھے ۔ وہ پیٹھ اور پنڈلیوں کو ملا کر باندھا ہوا تھا۔ پھر اس کو کھول دیا اور فرمایا : جس کے پاس بھی شراب میں سے کوئی چیز ہے وہ لے آؤ، وہ شراب کو لے آئے ان میں سے ایک نے کہا : میرے پاس راویہ ہے۔ دوسرے نے کہا : میرے پاس زق ہے تو رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : بقیع میں جمع کر دو اور پھر مجھے اطلاع کر دو ۔ پھر آپ آئے اور میں بھی آپ کے ساتھ تھا : میں آپ کے ساتھ دائیں طرف کھڑا ہوا تو آپ مجھ پر ٹیک لگا کر کھڑے ہوگئے تو ابوبکر بھی آگئے، آپ نے انھیں دائیں طرف کرلیا اور مجھے بائیں طرف۔ پھر عمر آئے تو ان کو بھی اپنے بائیں طرف کرلیا۔ پھر ان دونوں کے درمیان آپ شراب کے پاس آئے، پوچھا : جانتے ہو یہ کیا ہے ؟ کہنے لگے : جی ہاں، شراب۔ فرمایا : تم سچ کہتے ہو، اللہ نے شراب، اس کو نچوڑنے والے، جس کے لیے نچوڑی جائے، پینے والے، پلانے والے تمام پر لعنت فرمائی ہے۔ پھر ایک چھڑی منگوائی اور فرمایا : اس کو بہادو انھوں نے ایسے ہی کیا اور آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ان شراب کے مشکیزوں کو پھاڑنے لگے تو لوگوں نے کہا : یا رسول اللہ ! یہ تو عام استعمال کی اشیاء ہیں۔ فرمایا : ہاں لیکن میں اس لیے کررہا ہوں کہ اس میں اللہ کی ناراضگی ہے۔ حضرت عمر (رض) نے فرمایا : میں آپ کو کافی ہوں یا رسول اللہ ! فرمایا : نہیں۔
(17334) Zaid bin Sabit (RA) se riwayat hai ke uska chacha sharaab baichta hai aur wo us se sadqa karta tha. Main us ko mana karta tha. Wo us se nahin ruka. Main Madinay ki taraf gaya. Wahan main Ibn Abbas (RA) se mila. Maine aap (RA) se sharaab aur us ki qeemat ke mutalliq poocha. Ibn Abbas (RA) ne farmaya: Sharaab haraam hai aur us ki qeemat bhi haraam hai. Ibn Abbas ne kaha: Ae ummat Muhammadiya ke muashre ke logon! Agar tumhari kitaab ke baad kitaab hoti aur tumhare nabi ke baad nabi hota albata wo nazil hota tum mein se jis tarah nazil hue tum se pehle aur nahin moakhir kiya jayega tumhare mamle ko qayamat ke din tak albata meri umer ki qasam! Hai ye tum par zyada sakht hai.
Hazrat Sabit farmate hain: Phir main Abdullah bin Umar (RA) ko mila main ne un se sharaab ke bare mein poocha: Aap (RA) ne farmaya: Anqareeb main aap ko sharaab ke mutalliq bataoon ga. Masjid mein main Rasulullah (SAW) ke sath tha. Aap (SAW) hamare darmiyan thay. Wo peeth aur pindliyon ko mila kar bandha hua tha. Phir us ko khol diya aur farmaya: Jis ke pass bhi sharaab mein se koi cheez hai wo le aao, wo sharaab ko le aaye un mein se aik ne kaha: Mere pass raviya hai. Dusre ne kaha: Mere pass zaq hai to Rasulullah (SAW) ne farmaya: Baqee mein jama kar do aur phir mujhe ittila kar do. Phir aap aaye aur main bhi aap ke sath tha: Main aap ke sath dayen taraf khara hua to aap mujh per tek laga kar kharay hogaye to Abu Bakr bhi agaye, aap ne unhen dayen taraf karliya aur mujhe bayen taraf. Phir Umar aaye to un ko bhi apne bayen taraf karliya. Phir un donon ke darmiyan aap sharaab ke pass aaye, poocha: Jante ho ye kya hai? Kehne lage: Ji haan, sharaab. Farmaya: Tum sach kehte ho, Allah ne sharaab, us ko nichorne wale, jis ke liye nichori jaye, pine wale, pilane wale tamam par lanat farmai hai. Phir aik chhari mangwai aur farmaya: Is ko bahao unhon ne aise hi kiya aur aap (SAW) un sharaab ke mashkizon ko pharne lage to logon ne kaha: Ya Rasulullah! Ye to aam istemaal ki ashiya hain. Farmaya: Haan lekin main is liye kar raha hoon ke is mein Allah ki narazgi hai. Hazrat Umar (RA) ne farmaya: Main aap ko kaafi hoon ya Rasulullah! Farmaya: Nahin.
Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Allah has cursed wine, its drinker, its server, its presser, the one for whom it is pressed, the one who carries it, the one to whom it is carried, the one who sells it, and the one who consumes its price."

(١٧٣٣٥) حضرت ابن عمر (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ” شراب پر، پینے والے پر، پلانے والے پر ، اس کے نچوڑنے والے پر ، جس کے لیے نچوڑا جا رہا ہے، اٹھانے والے پر ، جس کے لیے اٹھایا جا رہا ہے ، جو اس کو بیچ رہا ہے اور شراب کی قیمت کھانے والے پر لعنت کی گئی ہے۔ “
(17335) Hazrat Ibn Umar (RA) farmate hain ke Rasul Allah (SAW) ne farmaya : " Sharab par, pine wale par, pilane wale par, is ke nichorne wale par, jis ke liye nichora ja raha hai, uthane wale par, jis ke liye uthaya ja raha hai, jo is ko bech raha hai aur sharab ki qeemat khane wale par laanat ki gai hai."
Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever drinks wine in this world and does not repent from it, then it will be forbidden for him in the Hereafter.”

(١٧٣٣٦) حضرت ابن عمر (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ” جس نے دنیا میں شراب کو پیا، پھر وہ اس سے توبہ نہیں کرتا تو آخرت میں اس کے لیے شراب حرام ہے۔ “
(17336) Hazrat Ibn Umar (RA) farmate hain keh Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: "Jis ne duniya mein sharaab ko piya, phir wo us se tauba nahin karta to aakhirat mein us ke liye sharaab haraam hai."
Yahya bin Yahya said, "I read this Hadith to Malik, and he narrated something similar to it but did not mention repentance."

(١٧٣٣٧) حضرت یحییٰ بن یحییٰ فرماتے ہیں : ” میں نے اس حدیث کو مالک پر پڑھا تو انھوں نے اسی کے مثل ذکر کیا مگر توبہ کا ذکر نہیں کیا۔ “
(17337) Hazrat Yahya bin Yahya farmate hain : " maine is hadees ko Malik par parha to unhon ne isi ke misl zikar kiya magar toba ka zikar nahin kiya ".
Abdullah bin Amr bin As (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever prays one prayer while intoxicated will be deprived of everything in this world, and whoever abandons prayer four times while intoxicated, it is the right of Allah Almighty to make him drink Teenat-ul-Khabal.” It was said: "What is Teenat-ul-Khabal?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is the pus of the people of Hellfire."

(١٧٣٣٨) عبداللہ بن عمرو بن عاص (رض) رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ” جس نے نشے کی حالت میں ایک مرتبہ نماز پڑھی۔ اس سے چھن جائے گا جو دنیا میں ہے سب کچھ اور جس نے نماز چھوڑی چار مرتبہ نشے کی حالت میں۔ اس کے لیے اللہ تعالیٰ پر حق ہے کہ اس کو پلائے پیپ۔ کہا گیا : ( (طِینَۃُ الْخَبَالِ ) ) کیا چیز ہے ؟ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : یہ جہنم والوں کی پیپ ہے۔
(17338) Abdullah bin Amro bin Aas (RA) Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se naqal farmate hain ke aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: “Jis ne nashe ki halat mein ek martaba namaz parhi us se chhin jayega jo duniya mein hai sab kuchh aur jis ne namaz chhori char martaba nashe ki halat mein uske liye Allah Ta'ala par haq hai ke usko pilaye peep." Kaha gaya: ((Tinatul khabal)) kya cheez hai? Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: “Yeh jahannam walon ki peep hai."
Usman bin Affan (may Allah be pleased with him) said: You should avoid alcohol. It is the mother of all evils. Before you, there was a man who used to worship Allah and stay away from people. A rebellious woman wanted to seduce him, so she sent her maidservant to him saying, "We are calling you to bear witness (in a matter)." He came, and when he entered (her house), she closed all the doors and said, "I have not called you to bear witness, but rather to choose one of these three things: either commit adultery with me, or kill this child, or drink this alcohol." So he drank the alcohol and drank a lot. He then committed adultery with her and killed the child. Therefore, avoid alcohol because faith and alcohol cannot coexist.

(١٧٣٣٩) حضرت عثمان بن عفان (رض) فرماتے ہیں : تم شراب سے بچو ۔ یہ شراب خبیث چیزوں کی ماں ہے۔ تم سے پہلے آدمیعبادت کرتا تھا اور لوگوں سے الگ تھلگ رہتا۔ اس کو باغی عورت اٹھوالیا اور اس کی طرف اپنی لونڈی کو بھیجا کہ ہم آپ کو شہادت کے لیے بلا رہے ہیں۔ وہ آگیا تو جب وہ دروازوں میں داخل ہوا تو تمام دروازے بند کر یتے اور میں نے تمہیں شہادت کے لیے نہیں بلایا بلکہ اس لیے بلایا کہ ان تین کاموں سے ایک کام کرلو یا میرے ساتھ زنا یا اس بچے کو قتل یا شرب پی لو تو اس نے شراب پی اور بہت زیادہ پیتو زنا وہ بھی کر بیٹھا اور بچے کو بھی قتل کر دیا؛لہٰذا شراب سے بچو کیونکہ ایمان اور شراب اکٹھے نہیں ہوسکتے۔
Hazrat Usman bin Affan (RA) farmate hain: Tum sharaab se bacho. Yeh sharaab khabees cheezon ki maan hai. Tum se pehle aadmi ibadat karta tha aur logon se alag thalag rehta tha. Usko baaghi aurat utha le gai aur uski taraf apni laundi ko bheja ke hum aap ko shahadat ke liye bula rahe hain. Woh aagya to jab woh darwazon mein dakhil hua to tamam darwaze band kar diye aur maine tumhein shahadat ke liye nahin bulaya balke is liye bulaya ke in teen kaamon se ek kaam karlo ya mere saath zina ya is bache ko qatal ya sharab pi lo to usne sharab pi aur bahut zyada pi to zina woh bhi kar baitha aur bache ko bhi qatal kar diya; lihaza sharaab se bacho kyunki imaan aur sharaab ikatthe nahin ho sakte.
Usman said: "Avoid alcohol, for it is the key to every evil." A man was brought, and it was said to him, "Either tear this Quran, drink this alcohol, kill this child, or prostrate to the cross." He considers alcohol the easiest among them, so he drinks it. Then he commits adultery, kills the child, prostrates to the cross, and also tears the Quran.

(١٧٣٤٠) حضرت عثمان نے فرمایا : شراب سے بچو کیونکہ یہ ہر برائی کی چابی ہے۔ ایک شخص لایا گیا اسے کہا گیا یا تو یہ قرآن پھاڑ دے یا شراب پی لے یا اس بچے کو قتل کر دے یا صلیب کو سجدہ کر تو وہ ان میں شراب کو سب سے ہلکا سمجھتا ہے، شراب پی لیتا ہے تو زنا بھی ، بچے کا قتل بھی، صلیب کو سجدہ بھی اور قرآن کو بھی پھاڑ دیتا ہے۔
Hazrat Usman ne farmaya: Sharab se bacho kyunki yeh har burai ki chaabi hai. Ek shakhs laya gaya use kaha gaya ya to yeh Quran phaar de ya sharab pi le ya is bache ko qatl kar de ya saleeb ko sajda kar to woh in mein sharab ko sab se halka samajhta hai, sharab pi leta hai to zina bhi, bache ka qatl bhi, saleeb ko sajda bhi aur Quran ko bhi phaar deta hai.
