Chapter: Abstaining from killing those who are not combatants like monks, elderly, and others
باب ترك قتل من لا قتال فيه من الرهبان والكبير وغيرهما

Yahya bin Saeed narrates that when Abu Bakr Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) dispatched the army towards Syria, he himself walked alongside Yazid bin Abi Sufyan. Yazid was appointed as the commander of one-fourth of the army. He thought the Caliph should be mounted. He said to Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him): "You should ride or I will also walk." Abu Bakr replied: "Neither will you walk nor will I ride. I intend to gain reward for walking, for it is in the path of Allah." He further said: "Soon you will encounter people who (you might perceive) have dedicated themselves solely to Allah, leave them be. You will also come across people who have shaved their heads in the middle, strike their shaved heads with your swords." And I advise you on ten matters: Do not kill any woman, child or elderly person, do not cut down fruit-bearing trees, do not destroy cultivated land, do not slaughter a goat, camel except for food, do not burn or drown bees, do not be treacherous and do not be cowardly.

(١٨١٤٨) یحییٰ بن سعید فرماتے ہیں کہ ابوبکر صدیق (رض) نے شام کی جانب لشکر روانہ کیے تو ابوبکر (رض) یزید بن ابی سفیان کے ساتھ پیدل نکلے۔ وہ چوتھائی حصے پر امیر مقرر تھے۔ انھوں نے گمان کیا کہ آپ اضافہ کریں۔ اس نے ابوبکر (رض) سے کہا : آپ سوار ہوجائیں یا میں بھی پیدل چلتا ہوں تو ابوبکر (رض) نے فرمایا : نہ تو پیدل چلے گا اور نہ ہی میں سوار ہوں گا۔ میں تو پیدل چلنے میں ثواب کی نیت کرتا ہوں کیونکہ یہ اللہ کے راستہ میں ہے۔ پھر فرمایا : عنقریب تم ایسے لوگوں کو پاؤ گے جن کا گمان ہوگا کہ انھوں نے اپنے آپ کو اللہ کے لیے روک رکھا ہے۔ ان کو چھوڑ دینا اور جس کا گمان ہو کہ انھوں نے اپنے آپ کو الگ کیا ہوا ہے اور ایسی قوم کو چھوڑ دینا اور جس کا گمان ہو کہ انھوں نے اپنے آپ کو الگ کیا ہوا ہے اور ایسی قوم کو آ ملیں گے جنہوں نے اپنے سروں پر بالوں کے گھونسلے بنا رکھے ہوں گے تو ان بالوں کو تلوار سے کاٹ ڈالو اور میں تجھے دس نصیحتیں کرتا ہوں : تم کسی عورت، بچے اور بوڑھے کو قتل نہ کرنا، پھل دار درخت کو نہ کاٹنا، آباد زمین کو برباد و ویران نہ کرنا، کسی بکری، اونٹ کو صرف کھانے کے لیے ذبح کرنا، کسی شہد کی مکھی کو جلانا اور ڈبونا نہیں، نہ خیانت کرنا اور نہ بزدلی دکھانا۔
(18148) Yahya bin Saeed farmate hain ke Abu Bakr Siddiq (RA) ne Sham ki jaanib lashkar rawana kiye to Abu Bakr (RA) Yazid bin Abi Sufyan ke sath paidal nikle. Woh chauthai hisse par ameer muqarrar the. Unhon ne gumaan kiya ke aap izafa karen. Usne Abu Bakr (RA) se kaha : Aap sawar hojain ya main bhi paidal chalta hun to Abu Bakr (RA) ne farmaya : Na to paidal chalega aur na hi main sawar hounga. Main to paidal chalne mein sawab ki niyat karta hun kyunki yeh Allah ke raste mein hai. Phir farmaya : Anqareeb tum aise logon ko pao ge jin ka gumaan hoga ke unhon ne apne aap ko Allah ke liye rok rakha hai. Un ko chhod dena aur jis ka gumaan ho ke unhon ne apne aap ko alag kiya hua hai aur aisi qaum ko chhod dena aur jis ka gumaan ho ke unhon ne apne aap ko alag kiya hua hai aur aisi qaum ko aa milen ge jinhon ne apne saron par baalon ke ghonsle bana rakhe honge to un baalon ko talwar se kaat daalo aur main tujhe das nasihaten karta hun : Tum kisi aurat, bache aur budhe ko qatal na karna, phal dar darakht ko na kaatna, abad zameen ko barbad o veeraan na karna, kisi bakri, unt ko sirf khane ke liye zibah karna, kisi shahad ki makkhi ko jalana aur dbovna nahin, na khiyanat karna aur na buzdli dikhana.
Yazid bin Abi Malik Shami narrates that Abu Bakr Siddique (may Allah be pleased with him) appointed him [Yazid bin Abi Sufyan] the commander of the army for Syria and departed with him on foot.

(١٨١٤٩) یزید بن ابی مالک شامی فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت ابوبکر صدیق (رض) نے یزید بن ابی سفیان کے لشکر کا امیر بنا کر شام کی جانب روانہ فرمایا اور خود اس کے ساتھ پیدل چلے۔
Yazid bin Abi Malik Shami farmate hain ki Hazrat Abubakar Siddiq (Raz) ne Yazid bin Abi Sufyan ke lashkar ka ameer bana kar Sham ki janib rawana farmaya aur khud uske saath paidal chale.
Salih bin Kaysan narrates that when Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) appointed Yazid bin Abi Sufyan as the commander of one of the four divisions and sent him towards Syria, he walked alongside Yazid for some distance with the intention of giving him advice, while Yazid was on horseback. Yazid said, "O Caliph of the Messenger! Either you mount or I will dismount." Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) replied, "You should not dismount, nor will I mount. I have intended to walk on foot in the path of Allah. O Yazid! You will come across towns with various kinds of food. Begin with the name of Allah and praise Allah at the end. Express gratitude, and soon you will encounter people who have confined themselves in monasteries, leave them be. You will also find people who have restricted themselves (in worship), leave them be as well. And soon you will come across a people upon whose heads the devil has made hateful things seem appealing, strike their necks. Do not kill the elderly, women, or children. Do not destroy an inhabited place. Cut down trees and livestock only for beneficial purposes. Do not burn beehives. Do not deceive, act treacherously, cowardly, or betray. Verily, Allah will aid those who help (the cause of) Allah and His Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), for Allah is All-Powerful, All-Mighty. I entrust you to Allah, and peace be upon you from my side." Then they departed.

(١٨١٥٠) صالح بن کیسان فرماتے ہیں کہ جب ابوبکر (رض) نے یزید بن ابی سفیان کو چار گروہ میں سے ایک کا امیر بنا کر شام کی جانب بھیجا اور حضرت ابوبکر (رض) وصیت کی غرض سے اس کے ساتھ پیدل چلے۔ جبکہ یزید بن ابی سفیان سوار تھے۔ یزید نے کہا : اے خلیفۃ الرسول ! یا تو آپ سوار ہوجائیں یا میں بھی نیچے اتر آتا ہوں۔ حضرت ابوبکر (رض) نے فرمایا : تم اترو نہ میں سوار ہوتا ہوں۔ میں تو اللہ کے راستہ میں پیدل چلنے میں نیت کیے ہوئے ہوں۔ اے یزید ! تم ایسے شہروں میں آؤ گے جس میں مختلف قسم کے کھانے ہوں گے۔ ابتدا میں اللہ کا نام لو اور آخر میں اللہ کی تعریف کرو۔ حمد بیان کرو اور عنقریب تم ایسے لوگ بھی پاؤ گے جنہوں نے اپنے آپ کو معبد خانوں میں روک رکھا ہوگا، ان کو چھوڑ دو اور جنہوں نے اپنے آپ کو بھی روک رکھا ہو اور عنقریب تم ایسی قوم کو پاؤ گے کہ شیطان نے ان کے سروں پر سخت نفرت والی اشیاء بنادی ہوں گی۔ ان کی گردنیں اڑا دو ۔ کسی بوڑھے، عورت اور بچے کو قتل نہ کرنا، کسی آباد جگہ کو ویران نہ کرنا، درخت اور چوپائے کو فائدہ کے لیے کاٹنا، شہد کے چھتے کو نہ جلانا، دھوکا ، مثلہ، بزدلی اور خیانت نہ کرنا۔ اللہ اس کی ضرور مدد فرمائیں گے جو اللہ اور اس کے رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی بن دیکھے مدد کرے گا کیونکہ اللہ قوی غالب ہے میں تجھے اللہ کے سپرد کرتا ہوں اور میری طرف سے سلام۔ پھر وہ چلے گئے۔
(18150) Saleh bin Kaisan farmate hain ke jab Abu Bakr (Razi Allah Anhu) ne Yazid bin Abi Sufyan ko chaar garoh mein se aik ka ameer bana kar Sham ki jaanib bheja aur Hazrat Abu Bakr (Razi Allah Anhu) wasiyat ki garz se uske sath paidal chale. Jabke Yazid bin Abi Sufyan sawaar thay. Yazid ne kaha: Aye Khalifa tu Rasool! Ya to aap sawaar hojain ya mein bhi neeche utar aata hun. Hazrat Abu Bakr (Razi Allah Anhu) ne farmaya: Tum utro na mein sawaar hota hun. Mein to Allah ke raaste mein paidal chalne mein niyat kiye huye hun. Aye Yazid! Tum aise shehron mein aaoge jis mein mukhtalif qisam ke khane honge. Ibtida mein Allah ka naam lo aur akhir mein Allah ki tareef karo. Hamd bayan karo aur anqareeb tum aise log bhi paoge jinhone apne aap ko ma'bad khanon mein rok rakha hoga, unko chhod do aur jinhone apne aap ko bhi rok rakha ho aur anqareeb tum aisi qaum ko paoge ke shaitan ne unke saron par sakht nafrat wali ashiya banadi hongi. Unki gardanein ura do. Kisi budhe, aurat aur bache ko qatal na karna, kisi aabad jagah ko veeran na karna, darakht aur chopaye ko faida ke liye kaatna, shahad ke chhatte ko na jalana, dhoka, masla, buzdali aur khiyanat na karna. Allah uski zaroor madad farmaenge jo Allah aur uske Rasool ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ki bin dekhe madad karega kyunki Allah qawi ghalib hai. Mein tujhe Allah ke supurd karta hun aur meri taraf se salam. Phir woh chale gaye.
He narrates from Ibn Ishaq Muhammad bin Ja'far bin Zubair that he said to me, "Do you know why Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) made a distinction that he ordered the killing of the church servant who takes care of the church, while he forbade the killing of the monk?" I said, "In my opinion, they only stop themselves (from fighting)." He said, "Yes! But these (church servants) initiate the fight and fight themselves, while the opinion of the monks among the people is that they should not fight, and Allah's command is: {And fight in the way of Allah those who fight you} [Al-Baqarah 190]."

(١٨١٥١) ابن اسحاق محمد بن جعفر بن زبیر سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ اس نے مجھے کہا : آپ کو معلوم ہے کہ ابوبکر (رض) نے کیوں تفریق کروائی کہ خادم کنیسہ جو کنیسہ پرور ہو کو قتل کرنے کا حکم دیا جبکہ راہب کے قتل سے منع فرمایا ؟ کہتے ہیں : میرے خیال کے مطابق صرف انھوں نے اپنے آپ کو روک رکھا ہے۔ اس نے کہا : ہاں ! لیکن شمامہ یہ لڑائی کی ابتدا کرواتے ہیں اور خود لڑائی کرتے ہیں اور راہب لوگوں کی رائے یہ ہوتی ہے کہ لڑائی نہ کی جائے اور اللہ کا فرمان ہے : { وَ قَاتِلُوْا فِیْ سَبِیْلِ اللّٰہِ الَّذِیْنَ یُقَاتِلُوْنَکُمْ } [البقرۃ ١٩٠] ” اور تم اللہ کے راستہ میں جہاد کرو ان لوگوں سے جو تم سے لڑائی کرتے ہیں۔ “
(18151) Ibne Ishaq Muhammad bin Jaffar bin Zabeer se naqal farmate hain ke usne mujhe kaha: Aapko malum hai ke Abu Bakr (Razi Allahu Anhu) ne kyon tafreeq karwai ke khadim kanisa jo kanisa parwar ho ko qatl karne ka hukum diya jabke raheb ke qatl se mana farmaya? Kehte hain: Mere khayal ke mutabiq sirf unhon ne apne aap ko rok rakha hai. Usne kaha: Haan! Lekin shamma yeh ladai ki ibtida karwate hain aur khud ladai karte hain aur raheb logon ki rai yeh hoti hai ke ladai na ki jaye aur Allah ka farman hai: {Wa qatiloo fee sabeelillahillazina yuqatilunakum} [Al Baqarah 190] "Aur tum Allah ke raaste mein jihad karo un logon se jo tumse ladai karte hain."
Abu Imran Jooni narrates that when Abu Bakr (RA) dispatched Yazid bin Abi Sufyan towards Syria, he walked alongside him. Yazid said, "It doesn't seem right to me that you walk while I ride." Abu Bakr (RA) replied, "You are going for battle in the path of Allah, and I intend to gain reward by walking." Then he advised him, "Do not kill children, women, the very old, the sick, and monks. Do not cut down fruit-bearing trees, do not destroy cultivated land. Slaughter cows and camels only for food. And do not demolish or burn beehives."

(١٨١٥٢) ابو عمران جونی فرماتے ہیں کہ ابوبکر (رض) نے یزید بن ابی سفیان کو شام کی جانب روانہ کیا تو اس کے ساتھ پیدل چلے۔ یزید نے کہا : مجھے اچھا نہیں لگتا کہ آپ پیادہ ہوں اور میں سوار ہوں۔ ابوبکر (رض) نے فرمایا : آپ اللہ کے راستہ میں غزوہ کے لیے جا رہے ہیں جبکہ میں پیادہ چلنے میں ثواب کی نیت کیے ہوئے ہوں۔ پھر اس کو وصیت فرمائی کہ بچے، عورت، بہت زیادہ بوڑھے، بیمار اور راہب کو قتل نہ کرنا، پھل دار درخت نہ کاٹنا، آباد زمین کو ویران نہ کرنا، گائے اور اونٹ صرف کھانے کے لیے ذبح کرنا اور شہد کی مکھی کے چھتے کو ڈبونا اور جلانا نہیں ہے۔
(18152) Abu Imran Johni farmate hain ki Abu Bakar (Razi Allah Anhu) ne Yazid bin Abi Sufyan ko Sham ki janib rawana kiya to uske sath paidal chale. Yazid ne kaha: Mujhe achcha nahi lagta ki aap paidal hon aur main sawar hon. Abu Bakar (Razi Allah Anhu) ne farmaya: Aap Allah ke raah mein ghazwa ke liye ja rahe hain jabke main paidal chalne mein sawab ki niyat kiye huye hon. Phir usko wasiyat farmai ki bacche, aurat, bahut zyada budhe, bimar aur rahib ko qatal na karna, phal dar darakht na katna, abad zameen ko veeran na karna, gaye aur unt sirf khane ke liye zibah karna aur shahad ki makhi ke chhatte ko dubona aur jalana nahi hai.
Anas bin Malik narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Go forth in the name of Allah and with His victory, and upon the religion of the Messenger of Allah. Do not kill an elderly person, a young child, a small child, or a woman. Do not betray, and do not steal from the spoils of war. Gather the spoils, enjoin good, and forbid evil. Verily, Allah loves the doers of good."

(١٨١٥٣) حضرت انس بن مالک فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اللہ کے نام و نصرت کے ساتھ چلو اور رسول اللہ کے دین پر کسی بزرگ بوڑھے، بچے، چھوٹے اور عورت کو قتل نہ کرو۔ خیانت نہ کرو اور مال غنیمت اکٹھا کرو۔ اصلاح کرو اور احسان کرو۔ اللہ احسان کرنے والوں کو پسند فرماتا ہے۔
Hazrat Anas bin Malik farmate hain ke Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : Allah ke naam o nusrat ke sath chalo aur Rasul Allah ke deen par kisi buzurg budhe, bache, chhote aur aurat ko qatal na karo. Khiyanat na karo aur maal ghanimat ikatha karo. Islaah karo aur ehsaan karo. Allah ehsaan karne walon ko pasand farmata hai.
Akarmah narrated from Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would dispatch an army - in the narration of Ibn Abi Awis it is stated - when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would send out his army, he would say: "Go forth in the name of Allah, and fight against those who disbelieve in Allah. Do not act treacherously, do not mutilate, do not breach trust, and do not kill children or priests."
However, the narration of Misri does not include: "And do not steal from the spoils of war."

(١٨١٥٤) عکرمہ حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس (رض) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) جب کوئی لشکر روانہ فرماتے۔ ابن ابی اویس کی روایت میں ہے کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) جب اپنے لشکر روانہ کرتے تو فرماتے : تم اللہ کے نام کے ساتھ نکلو، اللہ کے ساتھ کفر کرنے والوں کے ساتھ تم قتال کرتے ہو۔ دھوکا ، مثلہ، خیانت نہ کرو اور نہ بچوں اور پادریوں کو قتل کرو۔
لیکن مصری کی روایت میں یہ قول نہیں ہے : وَلَا تَغُلُّوْا
18154 Ukrama Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas (Raz) se naql farmate hain ki Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) jab koi lashkar rawana farmate. Ibn e Abi Auwis ki riwayat mein hai ki Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) jab apne lashkar rawana karte to farmate : Tum Allah ke naam ke sath niklo, Allah ke sath kufr karne walon ke sath tum qital karte ho. Dhoka , masla, khiyanat na karo aur na bachchon aur padriyon ko qatal karo. Lekin Misri ki riwayat mein ye qaul nahin hai : Wa La Taghullu.
Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would send out the Muslim army against the polytheists, he would say: March forth in the name of Allah. He mentioned the hadith, in which it is stated that you should not kill children, women, or the very old. Do not damage eyesight. Cut down only that tree which obstructs you and the polytheists in battle. Do not mutilate any human or animal. And do not commit treachery or betrayal.

(١٨١٥٥) حضرت علی بن ابی طالب (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ جب نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) مسلمانوں کا لشکر مشرکین کی جانب روانہ کرتے تو فرماتے : اللہ کے نام کے ساتھ چلو۔ اس نے حدیث ذکر کی، جس میں ہے کہ تم بچوں، عورتوں اور زیادہ بوڑھے کو قتل نہ کرو۔ آنکھ خراب نہ کرو۔ صرف وہ درخت کاٹو جو تمہارے اور مشرکین کے درمیان لڑائی میں رکاوٹ بنتا ہو۔ کسی انسان و چوپائے کا مثلہ نہ کرو۔ دھوکا اور خیانت بھی نہ کرو۔
Hazrat Ali bin Abi Talib (RA) farmate hain ke jab Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) Musalmanon ka lashkar mushrikeen ki jaanib rawana karte to farmate: Allah ke naam ke saath chalo. Usne hadees zikar ki, jis mein hai ke tum bachchon, auraton aur zyada budhe ko qatal na karo. Aankh kharab na karo. Sirf wo darakht kato jo tumhare aur mushrikeen ke darmiyan larai mein rukawat banta ho. Kisi insan o chopaye ka masla na karo. Dhoka aur khiyanat bhi na karo.
(18156) Khalid bin Zaid narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went to see off the people of Mu'tah (a place in Syria) up to Thaniyyatul-Wada' (a place in Madinah). When he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood up, the people also stood around him. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Go forth in the name of Allah and fight against your and Allah's enemies in the land of Syria. Soon you will encounter people who stay apart in monasteries, so do not harm them. And (you will encounter) another type of people on whose heads the devils have made their nests; strike them with the sword. Do not kill any woman, young child, or very old person. Do not cut down trees, date palms, and do not demolish houses.”

(١٨١٥٦) حضرت خالد بن زید فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اہل موتہ کو الوداع کرتے ہوئے ثنیۃ الوداع تک جا پہنچے۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کھڑے ہوئے تو لوگ بھی آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے اردگرد کھڑے ہوگئے۔ آپ نے فرمایا : اللہ کا نام لے کر غزوہ کرو۔ تم اپنے اور خدا کے دشمنوں سے ملک شام میں قتال کرو۔ عنقریب تم ایسے لوگوں کو پاؤ گے جو کنیسہ میں دوسرے لوگوں سے الگ تھلگ ہوں گے تو ان کے درپے نہ ہونا اور دوسری قسم کے لوگ جن کے سروں پر شیطانوں نے گھونسلے بنا رکھے ہوں گے۔ ان کو تلوار سے کاٹ ڈالو اور کسی عورت، چھوٹے بچے، زیادہ بوڑھے شخص کو قتل نہ کرو اور درخت، کھجور نہ کاٹو اور گھروں کو نہ گراؤ۔
18156 Hazrat Khalid bin Zaid farmate hain ke Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ahle Mo'tah ko alwida karte hue Saniyah al-Wida tak ja pahunche. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) kharay hue to log bhi aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke ird gird kharay hogaye. Aap ne farmaya: Allah ka naam lekar ghazwa karo. Tum apne aur Khuda ke dushmanon se mulk Sham mein qital karo. Anqareeb tum aise logon ko pao ge jo kaneesa mein dusre logon se alag thalag honge to un ke darpe na hona aur dusri qisam ke log jin ke saron par shaitano ne ghonsle bana rakhe honge. Un ko talwar se kaat daalo aur kisi aurat, chhote bache, zyada budhe shakhs ko qatl na karo aur darakht, khajoor na kato aur gharon ko na girao.
Marqub bin Sayfi narrates from his grandfather Riyah bin Rabee, the brother of Hanzalah the scribe, that he participated in a battle alongside the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and Khalid bin Walid was appointed over the vanguard of the army. Ribah and the Companions passed by a slain woman whom the vanguard had killed. They stood looking at her and marveling at her appearance. Even the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came upon his camel. The narrator said that the Companions moved away from the woman. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) stood near her. Then you (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Was she one of the fighters?" Then you (peace and blessings be upon him) looked at the faces of the people and ordered someone: "Go and tell Khalid bin Walid not to kill any child or slave."

(١٨١٥٧) مرقع بن صیفی اپنے دادا ریاح بن ربیع سے جو حنظلہ کاتب کے بھائی ہیں نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ میں کسی غزوہ میں رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ساتھ نکلا اور خالد بن ولید لشکر کے مقدمہ پر مقرر تھے۔ رباح اور صحابہ ایک مقتولہ عورت کے پاس سے گزرے جس کو مقدمہ کے لشکر نے قتل کردیا تھا۔ وہ کھڑے ہو کر دیکھ رہے تھے اور اس کی شکل و صورت پر تعجب کر رہے تھے۔ یہاں تک کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) بھی اپنی اونٹنی پر آگئے۔ راوی کہتے ہیں کہ صحابہ عورت کے قریب سے ہٹ گئے۔ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اس کے پاس کھڑے ہوگئے۔ پھر آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : کیا یہ لڑائی کرتی تھی ؟ پھر آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے لوگوں کے چہرے دیکھے اور کسی کو حکم دیا کہ جاؤ خالد بن ولید سے کہہ کر آؤ کہ وہ کسی بچے اور غلام کو قتل نہ کریں۔

Yahan tak ki Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) bhi apni untni par aa gaye. Rawi kahte hain ki Sahaba aurat ke qareeb se hat gaye. Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) us ke paas kharre ho gaye. Phir aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: kya yeh laraai karti thi? Phir aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne logon ke chehre dekhe aur kisi ko hukum diya ki jao Khalid bin Walid se kah kar aao ki wo kisi bache aur ghulam ko qatl na karen.
Ayyub Sakhtiyani narrates from a person, and he from his father, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prohibited killing servants.

(١٨١٥٨) ایوب سختیانی کسی شخص سے اور وہ اپنے والد سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے نوکر کے قتل سے منع فرمایا ہے۔
(18158) Ayub Sakhtiani kisi shakhs se aur wo apne walid se naql farmate hain ki Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne naukar ke qatl se mana farmaya hai.
Zaid bin Wahab narrated from 'Umar bin al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: Fear Allah concerning the farmers, only kill those of them that fight you. [Weak].

(١٨١٥٩) زید بن وہب حضرت عمر بن خطاب (رض) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ انھوں نے فرمایا : کسانوں کے بارے میں اللہ سے ڈرو صرف ان کو قتل کرو جو تمہارے خلاف لڑائی میں مدمقابل آجائیں۔ [ضعیف ]
