Sunan al-Kubra Bayhaqi 19727
`Uqbah ibn Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) delivering a sermon on the pulpit, and he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: { وَ اَعِدُّوْا لَھُمْ مَّا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ مِّنْ قُوَّۃٍ } "And prepare against them whatever you are able of power." By "power" in this verse is meant archery. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) repeated these words thrice.

(١٩٧٢٧) عقبہ بن عامر (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے منبر پر خطبہ دیتے ہوئے سنا، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) فرما رہے تھے : { وَ اَعِدُّوْا لَھُمْ مَّا اسْتَطَعْتُمْ مِّنْ قُوَّۃٍ } ” ان کے ساتھ مقابلہ کے لیے جس قدر ممکن ہو تیار رکھو۔ “ اس آیت میں ” القوۃ “ سے مراد تیر اندازی ہے۔ آپ نے یہ کلمات تین بار دھرائے۔
Aqba bin Aamir (Razi Allah Anhu) farmate hain ki main ne Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se mimbar par khutba dete huye suna, Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) farma rahe the: { Wa a'iddu lahum ma statatum min quwwatin } "In ke sath muqabla ke liye jis qadar mumkin ho taiyar rakho." Is ayat mein "al-quwwah" se murad teer andazi hai. Aap ne ye kalmat teen baar duhrae.
Aqaba bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying, “You will soon conquer lands, and Allah will suffice you of your needs and will protect you from hardship, so beware of being distracted from archery by anything.”

(١٩٧٢٨) عقبہ بن عامرجہنی (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے سنا، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) فرما رہے تھے : عنقریب علاقے تم فتح کرلو گے اور اللہ تمہاری مشقت سے کافی ہوجائے گا، خبردار ! تمہیں کوئی بھی چیز اپنے تیروں سے غافل نہ کرے۔
19728 Aqabah bin Aamir Jahni (RA) farmate hain ke maine Rasul Allah (SAW) se suna, Aap (SAW) farma rahe the: Anqareeb ilaqay tum fatah kar lo gay aur Allah tumhari mushqat se kaafi ho jaye ga, khabardar! tumhen koi bhi cheez apne teeron se ghafil na kare.
'Abdul Rahman bin Thamamah narrated that Faqeem Lakhmi said to 'Uqbah bin 'Amir: You differ between two objectives, which makes it difficult for you. 'Uqbah said: If I had not heard this statement from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), I would never have helped them. Harith said that Ibn Shamas said: What is that? He said: Archery after learning it or after mastering it, whoever left it, he is not one of us or he disobeyed.

(١٩٧٢٩) عبدالرحمن بن ثمامہ سے روایت ہے کہ فقیم لخمی نے عقبہ بن عامر سے کہا : آپ دو مقاصد کے درمیان اختلاف کرتے ہیں، جس کی وجہ سے آپ کو مشکل ہوگی۔ عقبہ فرماتے ہیں : اگر میں نے یہ کلام رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے نہ سنا ہوتا تو میں ان کی کبھی بھی مدد نہ کرتا۔ حارث کہتے ہیں کہ ابن شماس نے فرمایا : وہ کیا ہے ؟ فرماتے ہیں کہ تیر اندازی جان لینے کے بعد یا سیکھ لینے کے بعد، جس نے اس کو چھوڑ دیا، وہ ہم سے نہیں یا اس نے نافرمانی کی۔
Abdurrahman bin Thamama se riwayat hai ki Faqeem Lakhmi ne Aqba bin Aamir se kaha : Aap do maqasid ke darmiyaan ikhtilaf karte hain, jis ki wajah se aap ko mushkil hogi. Aqba farmate hain : Agar maine ye kalaam Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se na suna hota to main un ki kabhi bhi madad na karta. Haris kahte hain ki Ibn Shihab ne farmaya : Wo kya hai ? Farmate hain ki teer andazi jaan lene ke baad ya seekh lene ke baad, jis ne is ko chhor diya, wo hum se nahin ya us ne nafarmani ki.
Harith reported: I said to Ibn Shamasah, "What (does it mean)?" He said: "He who learned archery and then abandoned it, has no connection with us, meaning he disobeyed."

(١٩٧٣٠) حارث فرماتے ہیں : میں نے ابن شماسہ سے کہا : وہ کیا ہے ؟ فرمایا : جس نے تیر اندازی سیکھی اور چھوڑ دیا اس کا ہمارے ساتھ کوئی تعلق نہیں ہے یا اس نے نافرمانی کی۔
(19730) Haris farmate hain : main ne Ibn Shumasah se kaha : woh kya hai ? farmaya : jis ne teer andazi sikhi aur chhor diya us ka hamare sath koi taluq nahin hai ya us ne nafarmani ki.
Khalid bin Zaid said: I was an archer. I used to practice archery with Aqabah bin Amir. One day he passed by me and said: O Khalid! Come with us, let's practice archery, but I delayed a little, so he said: Khalid, come quickly, I will tell you what the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to me. Or should I tell you what the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said? The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Three people will enter Paradise because of one arrow: 1. The one who makes the arrow, intending to gain reward. 2. The one who shoots the arrow. 3. The one who picks up the arrow for the archer. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Practice archery, ride horses. I like archery more than horse riding. Three things are not considered play: 1. When a person trains his horse. 2. When he jokes with his wife. 3. When he shoots arrows with his bow and arrow. Whoever learns archery, then leaves it, then he has been ungrateful for the blessing.

(١٩٧٣١) خالد بن زید فرماتے ہیں کہ میں تیر انداز آدمی تھا۔ میں عقبہ بن عامر کے ساتھ مل کر تیر اندازی کرتا، ایک دن وہ میرے پاس سے گزرے اور فرمایا : اے خالد ! ہمارے ساتھ آو ، ہم تیر اندازی کریں، لیکن میں نے تھوڑی دیر کردی تو فرمایا : خالد جلدی آؤ میں تمہیں وہ بیان کرو جو مجھے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے بیان فرمایا تھا۔ یا میں تجھے وہ بات کہوں جو نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمائی تھی۔ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا تھا : ایک تیر کی وجہ سے تین اشخاص جنت میں داخل ہوں گے : 1 تیر بنانے والا جو ثواب کی نیت رکھتا ہے۔ 2 تیر چلانے والا 3 تیر انداز کو تیر پکڑانے والا۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : تیر اندازی کرو، گھڑ سواری کرو۔ گھڑ سواری کی نسبت تیر اندازی مجھے زیادہ پسند ہے۔ تین چیزیں کھیل میں شمار نہیں ہوتیں : 1 اگر کوئی شخص گھوڑے کو سکھاتا ہے۔ 2 اپنی بیوی سے چھیڑ چھاڑ کرتا ہے۔ 3 اپنے تیر کمان سے تیر اندازی کرتا ہے جس نے تیر اندازی سیکھی، پھر اس کو چھوڑ دیا تو اس نے نعمت کی ناشکری۔
19731 Khalid bin Zaid farmate hain ki main teer andaz aadmi tha. Main Aqba bin Aamir ke sath mil kar teer andazi karta, ek din wo mere paas se guzre aur farmaya: Aye Khalid! Humare sath aao, hum teer andazi karen, lekin maine thori dair ki to farmaya: Khalid jaldi aao main tumhen wo bayan karoon jo mujhe Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne bayan farmaya tha. Ya main tumhe wo baat kahun jo Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaee thi. Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya tha: Ek teer ki wajah se teen ashkhas jannat mein dakhil honge: 1 teer banane wala jo sawab ki niyat rakhta hai. 2 teer chalane wala 3 teer andaz ko teer pakrane wala. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Teer andazi karo, ghor sawari karo. Ghor sawari ki nisbat teer andazi mujhe ziada pasand hai. Teen cheezen khel mein shumar nahi hoti: 1 agar koi shakhs ghore ko sikhata hai. 2 apni biwi se chhed chhad karta hai. 3 apne teer kaman se teer andazi karta hai jisne teer andazi sikhi, phir usko chhor diya to usne naimat ki nashukri.
Uqba bin Amir Jahni narrated that he heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying, "Allah will admit three persons into Paradise because of one arrow: The one who makes it, seeking reward (for his action), the one who shoots it, and the one who hands it over."

(١٩٧٣٢) عقبہ بن عامر جہنی فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے سنا، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) فرما رہے تھے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ ایک تیر کی وجہ سے تین آدمیوں کو جنت میں داخل فرمائیں گے : تیر بنانے والا جو ثواب کی نیت رکھتا ہے، تیر چلانے والا اور اس کا تعاون کرنے والا۔
Aqba bin Aamir Jahni farmate hain keh maine Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se suna, Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) farma rahe the keh Allah Ta'ala ek teer ki wajah se teen aadmiyon ko Jannat mein dakhil farmaenge : teer banane wala jo sawab ki niyat rakhta hai, teer chalane wala aur uska taawun karne wala.
Uqba bin Amir Jahni reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Practice archery and horseback riding. Archery is more beloved to me than horseback riding. Every amusement a man engages in is falsehood, except for his shooting with his bow, his training his horse, and his play with his wife, for these are righteousness. Whoever learns archery then abandons it, it is as if he has disbelieved after faith.”

(١٩٧٣٣) عقبہ بن عامر جہنی فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : تیر اندازی کرو، گھڑ سواری کرو، تیر اندازی مجھے گھڑ سواری سے زیادہ پسند ہے۔ تمام قسم کی کھیلیں جو آدمی کھیلتا ہے باطل ہیں، لیکن تیراندازی کرنا، گھوڑے کو سدھانا، اپنی بیوی سے چھیڑچھاڑ کرنا یہ درست ہیں۔ تیر اندازی سیکھنے کے بعد چھوڑنا ایسے ہے جیسے اس نے کسی چیز کو جاننے کے بعد کفر کیا۔
Aqba bin Aamir Jahni farmate hain ki Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Teer andazi karo, ghor sawari karo, teer andazi mujhe ghor sawari se zyada pasand hai. Tamam qisam ki khelain jo aadmi khelta hai baatil hain, lekin teer andazi karna, ghore ko sudhana, apni biwi se chhehr chhar karna yeh durust hain. Teer andazi seekhne ke baad chhorna aise hai jaise usne kisi cheez ko jaanne ke baad kufr kiya.
Abdul Rahman bin Salem bin Abdul Rahman bin Uwaim narrated from his father and he from his grandfather that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw a Persian bow in the hand of a man and said: Throw it away. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) pointed towards the Arabian bow. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Through these bows and arrows, Allah will grant you dominance over these cities and will aid you against the enemies.

(١٩٧٣٤) عبدالرحمن بن سالم بن عبدالرحمن بن عویم، اپنے والد سے اور وہ اپنے دادا سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ایک آدمی کے ہاتھ میں فارسی کمان دیکھی تو فرمایا : اس کو پھینک دو ۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے عربی کمان کی طرف اشارہ کیا۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ان تیر کمانوں کی وجہ سے اللہ تمہیں ان شہروں پر غلبہ دے گا اور دشمنوں کے خلاف تمہیں مدد فراہم کرے گا۔
(19734) Abdul Rahman bin Salem bin Abdul Rahman bin Owaim, apne walid se aur wo apne dada se naqal farmate hain ke Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne aik aadmi ke hath mein Farsi kaman dekhi to farmaya: Is ko phenk do. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne Arabi kaman ki taraf ishara kiya. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: In teer kamano ki wajah se Allah tumhein in shehron par ghalba dega aur dushmanon ke khilaf tumhein madad faraham karega.
'Abdur-Rahman ibn Salim ibn 'Abdur-Rahman ibn 'Uyaym ibn Sa'idah narrated from his father, and he from his grandfather, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw a Persian bow and said: "Whoever carries it is cursed." You (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Adhere to the Arab bow, for through it Allah will grant you dominance over cities and will aid you against your enemy."

(١٩٧٣٥) عبدالرحمن بن سالم بن عبدالرحمن بن عویم بن ساعدہ۔ اپنے والد سے اور وہ اپنے دادا سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ایک فارسی کمان دیکھی تو فرمایا : جو اس کو اٹھائے گا ، وہ ملعون ہے۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : عربی کمان کو لازم پکڑو۔ اس کی وجہ سے اللہ تمہیں شہروں پر غلبہ دے گا اور تمہارے دشمن کے خلاف مدد کرے گا۔
19735 Abdurrahman bin Salim bin Abdurrahman bin Uwaym bin Sa'idah Apne walid se aur wo apne dada se naql farmate hain ki Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne ek Farsi kaman dekhi to farmaya: Jo usko uthayega wo mal'un hai. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Arabi kaman ko lazim pakdo. Iski wajah se Allah tumhein shehron per ghalba dega aur tumhare dushman ke khilaf madad karega.
Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) made me wear a turban on the day of Ghadir Khum and let one of its ends hang down my back. Then he said: Allah helped me with the angels wearing such turbans on the days of Badr and Hunayn, and He said, "This is the barrier between disbelief and faith." And you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw a man shooting arrows with a Persian bow, and you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Shoot!" Then you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw an Arabian bow and said: "Like this or this, hold fast to it, and the spears, with which Allah will grant you victory over cities and will help you against your enemies."

(١٩٧٣٦) حضرت علی (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے مجھے غدیر خم کے دن پگڑی پہنائی اور اس کا ایک کنارہ میرے پیچھے کی جانب لٹکا دیا۔ پھر فرمایا : اللہ نے بدر اور حنین کے دن ایسی پگڑی پہنے ہوئے فرشتوں سے میری مدد فرمائی اور فرمایا کہ یہ عمامہ کفر و ایمان کے درمیان رکاوٹ ہے اور آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ایک آدمی کو دیکھا، جو فارسی کمان سے تیر اندازی کررہا تھا، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : تیر اندازی کرو۔ پھر آپ نے عربی کمان دیکھی تو فرمایا : اس جیسی یا اس کو لازم پکڑو اور نیزے جس کی وجہ سے اللہ تمہیں شہروں پر غلبہ دیں گے اور تمہارے دشمنوں کے خلاف تمہاری مدد فرمائیں گے۔
(19736) Hazrat Ali (RA) farmate hain keh Rasul Allah (SAW) ne mujhe Ghadeer Khum ke din pagri pehnai aur iska ek kinara mere peeche ki jaanib latka diya. Phir farmaya: Allah ne Badr aur Hunain ke din aisi pagri pehne hue farishton se meri madad farmai aur farmaya keh yeh amama kufr o imaan ke darmiyaan rukawat hai aur aap (SAW) ne ek aadmi ko dekha, jo Farsi kaman se teer andazi kar raha tha, aap (SAW) ne farmaya: teer andazi karo. Phir aap ne Arabi kaman dekhi to farmaya: is jaisi ya isko lazim pakro aur neeze jis ki wajah se Allah tumhein shehron par ghalba denge aur tumhare dushmanon ke khilaf tumhari madad farmaenge.
Abu 'Abd al-Rahman narrated from Ibn 'Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the sharpness of a Persian bow is broken, its owner cannot benefit from it. But when the sharpness of an Arabian bow is broken, it is used as a support for walking. They had wooden spears. When one was struck, they would grab another and break it. But you have requested spears that would bend double but not break.

(١٩٧٣٧) ابوعبدالرحمن ابن عائشہ (رض) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ جب فارسی کمان کی تندی ٹوٹ جائے تو اس کا صاحب اس سے فائدہ نہیں اٹھاسکتا۔ لیکن جب عربی کمان کی تندی ٹوٹ جائے تو وہ اس کے سہارے چلنے کا کام لیتا ہے، ان کے پاس لکڑی کے نیزے ہوتے تھے۔ جب مارا جاتا تو دوسرا پکڑ کر اس کو توڑ دیتا، لیکن آپ نے ایسے نیزوں کا مطالبہ کیا جو دوہرا تو ہوجائے لیکن ٹوٹے نہ۔
19737 Abu Abdur Rahman ibn Aisha (RA) se naql farmate hain ke jab Farsi kaman ki tezi toot jaye to is ka sahib is se faidah nahin utha sakta. Lekin jab Arabi kaman ki tezi toot jaye to wo is ke sahaare chalne ka kaam leta hai, un ke pass lakri ke neze hote the. Jab mara jata to dusra pakar kar is ko tod deta, lekin aap ne aise nezon ka mutalba kiya jo dohra to ho jaye lekin toote nah.
Abu Uthman al-Nahdi said: A letter from Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) reached us while we were with Aqba bin Farqad in Azerbaijan. He wrote: “Tie your lower garments, wear your shoes, wrap yourselves in your shawls, take off your socks and trousers, and wear the dress of your father, Isma’il. Avoid luxury and imitating the non-Arabs. Adhere to taking a sunbath, for it is the bath of the Arabs, and choose healthy practices. Be civilized and optimistic. Leave the saddle-cloths on your horses and shorten your clothes to above your ankles, and set out for your destination, marching amongst the people.”

(١٩٧٣٨) ابوعثمان نہدی فرماتے ہیں کہ ہمارے پاس حضرت عمر (رض) کا خط آیا اور ہم آذربائیجان میں عقبہ بن فرقد کے ساتھ تھے۔ انھوں نے فرمایا : تہبند باندھو، جوتے پہنو، چادر اوڑھ لو، موزے اور شلواریں اتار دو اور اپنے باپ اسماعیل کا لباس پہنو، عیش و عشرت اور عجمیوں کی مشابہت سے بچو، دھوپ کو لازم پکڑو ، کیونکہ یہ عرب کا حمام ہے اور تندرستی کو اختیار کرو، مہذب بن جاؤ اور امید رکھو اور گھوڑی پر خچر کو چھوڑو اور ٹخنوں سے اوپر کپڑا کاٹ ڈالو اور ہدف مقرر کر کے ان کے درمیان چلو۔
(19738) Abu Usman Nahdi farmate hain ki humare pass Hazrat Umar (RA) ka khat aaya aur hum Azerbaijan mein Uqba bin Farqad ke sath the. Unhon ne farmaya: Tehband bandho, joote pehno, chadar odh lo, moze aur shalwarein utaar do aur apne baap Ismail ka libas pehno, aish o ishrat aur ajmiyon ki mushabat se bacho, dhoop ko lazim pakdo, kyunki yeh Arab ka hammam hai aur tandrusti ko ikhtiyar karo, muhazib ban jao aur umeed rakho aur ghore per kachar ko chhoro aur takhnon se upar kapda kaat daalo aur hadaf muqarrar kar ke un ke darmiyan chalo.
(19739) It is stated in the book of inheritance laws that Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) wrote a letter to Abu Ubaidah saying, "Teach the children how to sail boats and the warriors archery." They were practicing archery at different targets when a stray arrow came and hit a slave, which resulted in his death.
(b) Sahl bin Haneef narrates that Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) wrote a letter to Abu Ubaidah... mentioned like this...

(١٩٧٣٩) کتاب الفرائض میں ہے کہ حضرت عمر بن خطاب (رض) نے ابو عبیدہ کی طرف خط لکھا کہ بچوں کو کشتی چلانا سیکھاؤ اور جنگجو کو تیر اندازی۔ وہ مختلف اہداف پر نشانہ بازی کر رہے تھے تو ایک اجنبی تیر آیا اور غلام کو لگا جس کی وجہ سے وہ ہلاک ہوگیا۔
(ب) سہل بن حنیف فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت عمر بن خطاب (رض) نے ابو عبیدہ کو خط لکھا۔۔۔ اس طرح ذکر کیا۔
(19739) kitab al faraiz mein hai keh hazrat umar bin khattab (rz) ne abu ubaidah ki taraf khat likha keh bachon ko kashti chalana sikhao aur jangju ko teer andazi. woh mukhtalif ahdaf per nishana bazi kar rahe thay to aik ajnabi teer aaya aur ghulam ko laga jis ki wajah se woh halak hogaya. (b) sahl bin hanif farmate hain keh hazrat umar bin khattab (rz) ne abu ubaidah ko khat likha... iss tarah zikar kiya.
Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "My love has become obligatory for the one who strives in archery, with my bow (meaning the Arabian bow), not with the Persian bow."

(١٩٧٤٠) جابر بن عبداللہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اس بندے کے لیے میری محبت واجب ہوگئی جس نے نشانہ بازی کے لیے کوشش کی۔ میری قوس (یعنی عربی کمان سے) سے ناکہ فارسی قوس سے۔

Ata' bin Abi Rabah said: "I saw Jabir bin Abdullah and Jabir bin Umair, both of them shooting arrows. When one of them would get tired and sit down, the other would say to his companion: 'Are you sitting? Did you not hear the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)? He said: "Everything in which Allah is not remembered is amusement and play, except for four things: 1. A man's shooting with his bow, 2. Training his horse, 3. Riding his horse, and 4. Jesting with his wife."

(١٩٧٤١) عطاء بن ابی رباح فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے جابر بن عبداللہ اور جابر بن عمیر دونوں کو دیکھا کہ وہ تیر اندازی کر رہے تھے۔ ان میں سے ایک تھک کر بیٹھ گیا تو دوسرے نے اپنے ساتھی سے کہا : بیٹھ گئے ہو ؟ کیا آپ نے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے سنا نہیں، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ہر وہ چیز جس میں اللہ کا ذکر نہیں وہ کھیل تماشا ہے۔ سوائے چار چیزوں کے : 1 آدمی کا نشانہ بازی کرنا۔ 2 گھوڑے کو سدھانا۔ 3 گھوڑ سواری کرنا 4 اپنی بیوی سے چھیڑ چھاڑ کرنا۔
Ata bin Abi Rabah farmate hain ke maine Jabir bin Abdullah aur Jabir bin Umair dono ko dekha ke wo teer andazi kar rahe the. Un mein se ek thak kar baith gaya to dusre ne apne sathi se kaha : baith gaye ho ? kya aap ne Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se suna nahi, aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : har wo cheez jis mein Allah ka zikar nahi wo khel tamasha hai. Siwaye chaar cheezon ke : 1 aadmi ka nishana bazi karna. 2 ghore ko sudhana. 3 ghor sawari karna 4 apni biwi se chhed chhad karna.
Abu Rafi reported: I said: O Messenger of Allah, do children also have rights over their parents? He (ﷺ) replied: Yes, it is the right of the child upon his parent that he should teach him writing, archery, horse riding and that he should make him a good inheritor.

(١٩٧٤٢) ابورافع فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے کہا : اے اللہ کے رسول ! کیا اولاد کے بھی والدین پر حق ہیں ؟ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ہاں اولاد کا حق والدین پر یہ ہے کہ وہ اپنی اولاد کو کتابت، تیر اندازی، گھوڑ سواری سکھائے اور اس کو اچھا وارث بنائے۔
(19742) Aburafi farmate hain ke maine kaha: Aye Allah ke Rasool! Kya aulad ke bhi waldain per haq hain? Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Haan aulad ka haq waldain per ye hai ke woh apni aulad ko kitaabat, teer andazi, ghor sawari sikhaye aur us ko achha waris banaye.
