It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Umm Mimonah that she asked the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, "A mouse fell into the ghee and died?" So you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Remove the mouse and its surroundings and eat the rest."
حضرت میمونہ سے روایت ہے کہ جناب رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے دریافت کیا گیا کہ ایک چوہا گھی میں گرگیا اور مرگیا ؟ تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ” چوہے کو اور اس کے اردگرد کو نکال پھینکو اور بقیہ کو کھالو۔ “
Hazrat Maimoona se riwayat hai ke janab rasool Allah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) se daryaft kiya gaya ke ek chooha ghee mein gir gaya aur mar gaya? To aap (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) ne farmaya: "choohe ko aur uske gird ko nikal phenko aur baqia ko khao."
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was asked about a mouse that had died in ghee. Hazrat Abu Huraira said: So you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered that the mouse and the ghee around it should be taken out and thrown away.
حضرت ابوہریرہ سے روایت ہے کہ جناب رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے دریافت کیا گیا کہ ایک چوہا گھی میں مرگیا ہے ؟ حضرت ابوہریرہ کہتے ہیں۔ پس آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے حکم دیا کہ چوہا اور اس کے ارد گرد گھی کو نکال کر پھینک دیا جائے۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira se riwayat hai keh janab rasool Allah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) se daryaft kiya gaya keh ek chuha ghee mein mar gaya hai? Hazrat Abu Huraira kehte hain. Pas aap (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) ne hukum diya keh chuha aur uske ird gird ghee ko nikal kar phenk diya jaye.
Hazrat Misrah narrates from Hazrat Ali regarding a mouse that fell into ghee, that you [Prophet Muhammad ﷺ] said: "If the ghee is melted, then discard the ghee. And if the ghee is solidified, then take out the mouse and the ghee around it and discard it, and eat the rest of the ghee."
حضرت میسرہ، حضرت علی سے گھی میں گرنے والے چوہے کے بارے میں روایت کرتے ہیں کہ آپ نے فرمایا : اگر گھی پگھلا ہوا ہو تو گھی گرا دو ۔ اور اگر گھی منجمد ہے تو پھر چوہے کو اور اس کے ارد گرد گھی کو نکال کر پھینک دو اور بقیہ گھی کھالو۔
Hazrat Misrah, Hazrat Ali se ghee mein girne wale chuhe ke baare mein riwayat karte hain ke aap ne farmaya: Agar ghee pighla hua ho to ghee gira do. Aur agar ghee munjamid hai to phir chuhe ko aur uske ird gird ghee ko nikal kar phenk do aur baqia ghee kha lo.
It is narrated from Ibn Sirin that Ash'ari was asked about the ghee in which a lizard had died. So he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Sell it by any means, but do not sell it to any Muslim.
حضرت ابن سیرین سے روایت ہے کہ حضرت اشعری سے اس گھی کے بارے میں سوال کیا گیا جس میں چھپکلی مرچکی تھی ؟ تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اس کو کسی طرح بیچ دو لیکن یہ کسی مسلمان کو نہ بیچنا۔
Hazrat Ibne Sireen se riwayat hai ki Hazrat Ashari se iss ghee ke bare mein sawal kiya gaya jiss mein chhipkali marchuki thi? To aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: Iss ko kisi tarah bech do lekin ye kisi Musalman ko na bechna.
It is narrated on the authority of Nafi' that a large rat fell into the ghee of the family of Ibn Umar, whereupon it was brought to him and he was asked about it. He said: Eat it, and dress your food with the ghee.
حضرت نافع سے روایت ہے کہ ایک بڑا چوہا ، حضرت ابن عمر کے گھر والوں کی ہانڈی میں گرگیا تھا پس اس کے بارے میں سوال گیا گیا ؟ تو انھوں نے فرمایا : تم اس کے ذریعہ نفع حاصل کرو اور اس کے ذریعہ سالن کو روغنی کرلو۔
Hazrat Nafi se riwayat hai keh ek bara chuha Hazrat Ibn Umar ke ghar walon ki handi mein gir gaya tha pas us ke bare mein sawal kiya gaya to unhon ne farmaya tum us ke zariye nafa hasil karo aur us ke zariye salan ko rogani kar lo.
It is narrated on the authority of Hadrat Safiyyah bint Ibn Abi Ubaid that the family of Hadrat Ibn Umar had a pot in which there were twenty farq (a specific measurement) or more of ghee. A mouse fell into it and died, so Hadrat Ibn Umar ordered his family to light lamps with that ghee.
حضرت صفیہ بنت ابن عبید سے روایت ہے کہ حضرت ابن عمر کے گھر والوں کا ایک گھڑا تھا جس میں بیس فرق (خاص پیمانہ ہے) یا اس سے زیادہ گھی تھا۔ اس میں ایک چوہا گر کر مرگیا تو حضرت ابن عمر نے گھر والوں کو حکم دیا کہ اس گھی سے چراغ جلا لیں۔
Hazrat Safiyah bint Ibn Ubaid se riwayat hai ki Hazrat Ibn Umar ke ghar walon ka ek ghara tha jis mein bees farq ya us se ziada ghee tha Is mein ek chuha gir kar mar gaya to Hazrat Ibn Umar ne ghar walon ko hukm diya ki is ghee se chiragh jala len
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Abu Juraib bin Abi Al-Aswad. He said that Hazrat Ibn Masood was asked about the mouse that fell into the ghee and died. So he said: Allah Almighty has forbidden only the flesh of a dead animal and its blood.
حضرت ابو جرب بن ابی الاسود سے روایت ہے۔ وہ کہتے ہیں کہ حضرت ابن مسعود سے اس چوہے کے متعلق سوال کیا گیا جو گھی میں گرا اور مرگیا ؟ تو انھوں نے فرمایا۔ اللہ تعالیٰ نے صرف مردار کا گوشت اور اس کا خون حرام کیا ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Juraib bin Abi al Aswad se riwayat hai. Wo kehte hain ke Hazrat Ibn Masood se iss chuhe ke mutalliq sawal kiya gaya jo ghee mein gira aur mar gaya? To unhon ne farmaya. Allah Ta'ala ne sirf murdar ka gosht aur iska khoon haram kiya hai.
Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar said about the olive oil in which a mouse has fallen and died: that it is not lawful for any Muslim, any Jew or any Christian to eat it.
حضرت عبداللہ بن عمرونے اس زیتون کے تیل کے بارے میں جس میں چوہا گر کر مرجائے فرمایا : کہ کسی مسلمان، کسی یہودی اور کسی عیسائی کے لیئے اس کا کھانا حلال نہیں ہے۔
Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar ne iss zaitoon ke tail ke bare mein jis mein chuha gir kar mar jaye farmaya: keh kisi musalman, kisi yahudi aur kisi eesai ke liye iss ka khana halal nahi hai.
Thamamah ibn Abdullah ibn Anas narrated from his grandfather Anas ibn Malik that he was asked about a mouse that had fallen into ghee or olive oil. He said: "If the ghee is solidified, then the mouse and the ghee around it should be removed and the rest can be eaten. And if the ghee is melted, then it should be used to light lamps."
حضرت ثمامہ بن عبداللہ بن انس، اپنے دادا حضرت انس کے بارے میں روایت کرتے ہیں کہ ان سے گھی یا زیتون کے تیل میں گرنے والے چوہے کے بارے میں سوال کیا گیا ؟ انھوں نے فرمایا : اگر گھی منجمد ہے تو چوہے اور اس کے اردگرد کے گھی کو پکڑ کر باہر نکال دیں گے اور باقی کھالیا جائے گا اور اگر گھی پگھلا ہوا ہو تو اس کو چراغ جلانے میں استعمال کریں گے۔
Hazrat Thamama bin Abdullah bin Anas apne dada Hazrat Anas ke bare mein riwayat karte hain ke unse ghee ya zaitoon ke tel mein girne wale chuhe ke bare mein sawal kiya gaya? Unhon ne farmaya: Agar ghee munjamid hai to chuhe aur uske ird gird ke ghee ko pakar kar bahar nikal denge aur baqi khaya jayega aur agar ghee pighla hua ho to usko chiragh jalane mein istemal karenge.
It was narrated from Thabit bin Hujjaj that he said: "Aishah said: 'If the ghee has solidified then scoop out the rat and what is around it and eat the rest, and if it is liquid then do not eat it.'"
حضرت ثابت بن حجاج سے روایت ہے۔ وہ کہتے ہیں کہ حضرت عائشہ نے فرمایا : اگر گھی منجمد ہے تو چوہے اور اس کے ارد گرد کو باہرنکال پھینکو اور باقی کو کھالو اور اگر گیح سیال ہے تو پھر اس کو نہ کھاؤ۔
Hazrat Sabit bin Hajjaj se riwayat hai. Wo kehte hain ke Hazrat Aisha ne farmaya: Agar ghee munjamid hai to chuhe aur uske ird gird ko bahar nikal phenko aur baqi ko khalo aur agar ghee sayaal hai to phir usko na khao.
"It is narrated on the authority of Hadrat Ibrahim that he said: When a big rat falls in melted ghee and dies in it, then this ghee will not be eaten, and if this ghee is solidified, then the rat and its surroundings will be taken out and thrown away, and the rest of it will be eaten."
حضرت ابراہیم سے روایت ہے، وہ کہتے ہیں کہ جب بڑا چوہا، پگھلے ہوئے گھی میں گرجائے اور اسی میں مرجائے تو یہ گھی نہیں کھایا جائے گا اور گر یہ گھی منجمد ہو تو پھر چوہا ، اور اس کے اردگرد کو باہر نکال پھینکیں گے۔ اور اس کے سوا کو کھا لیں گے۔
Hazrat Ibrahim se riwayat hai woh kehte hain jab bara chouha pighle hue ghee mein gir jaye aur isi mein mar jaye to yeh ghee nahi khaya jaye ga aur agar yeh ghee munjamid ho to phir chouha aur uske ird gird ko bahar nikal phenkenge aur uske siwa ko kha lenge
It is narrated from Hazrat Ata, he said that if the ghee is frozen, then you should remove the rat and its surroundings and eat the rest. And if the ghee is melted, then you should light a lamp with it but do not eat it.
حضرت عطاء سے روایت ہے، وہ کہتے ہیں کہ اگر گھی منجمد ہو تو پھر تم چوہا اور اس کے ارد گرد کو باہر نکال دو اور بقیہ کو کھالو۔ اور اگر گھی پگھلا ہوا ہے تو پھر تم اس سے چراغ روشن کرلو لیکن اس کو کھاؤ نہیں۔
Hazrat Ata se riwayat hai, woh kehte hain ke agar ghee munjamid ho to phir tum chooha aur us ke ird gird ko bahar nikal do aur baqia ko khalo. Aur agar ghee pighla hua hai to phir tum us se chiragh roshan karlo lekin us ko khao nahi.
It is narrated from Hazrat Mak'hul that a mouse had fallen into olive oil, so people asked Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), so you (peace be upon him) said: "Light a lamp with it. But don't eat it." Hazrat Mak'hul used to say that when a mouse falls into ghee and the ghee solidifies, then take out the mouse and its surroundings and throw it away and eat the rest of it. And if the ghee is melted, then nothing of it should be eaten.
حضرت مکحول سے روایت ہے کہ زیتون کے تیل میں ایک چوہا گرگیا تھا تو لوگوں نے جناب نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے پوچھا ؟ تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ” اس کے ذریعہ چراغ روشن کرلو۔ لیکن اس کو کھاؤ نہیں ۔ “ حضرت مکحول فرمایا کرتے تھے کہ جب چوہا گھی میں گرجائے اور گھی منجمد ہو تو چوہے کو اور اس کے اردگرد کو باہر نکال پھینکو اور اس کے علاوہ کو کھالو۔ اور اگر گھی پگھلا ہوا ہو تو پھر اس میں سے کچھ بھی نہیں کھایا جائے گا۔
Hazrat Makhool se riwayat hai ki zaitoon ke tail mein ek chooha gir gaya tha to logon ne janab Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se poocha? To aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: “Is ke zariye chiragh roshan karlo. Lekin is ko khao nahin.” Hazrat Makhool farmaya karte the ki jab chooha ghee mein gir jaye aur ghee munjamid ho to choohe ko aur is ke ird gird ko bahar nikal phenko aur is ke ilawa ko khao. Aur agar ghee pighla hua ho to phir is mein se kuchh bhi nahin khaya jayega.
Hazrat Ikrama narrates about Hazrat Ibn Abbas that he was asked about a mouse that had fallen into clarified butter. So he said: (The mouse and) what is around it should be taken out and thrown away, and the rest may be eaten.
حضرت عکرمہ، حضرت ابن عباس کے بارے میں روایت کرتے ہیں کہ ان سے خشک گھی میں گرے ہوئے چوہے کے بارے میں سوال کیا گیا ؟ تو انھوں نے فرمایا : (چوہا اور) اس کے ارد گرد کو باہر نکال کر پھینک دیا جائے گا اور بقیہ کو کھالیا جائے گا۔
Hazrat Akrma, Hazrat Ibn Abbas ke bare mein riwayat karte hain ki un se khushk ghee mein gire hue chuhe ke bare mein sawal kiya gaya? To unhon ne farmaya: (Chuha aur) uske ird gird ko bahar nikal kar phenk diya jayega aur baqiya ko khaliya jayega.
