Hazrat Ayesha narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to recite these words as a prayer for healing: "O Lord of the people, remove the affliction. You are the Healer, and there is no healer except You. Grant such a healing that no illness remains." She further narrates: When the illness of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), the illness in which he (peace be upon him) passed away, intensified, I would hold his (peace be upon him) hand and rub it over his (peace be upon him) body while reciting this prayer. She says: He (peace be upon him) then removed his hand from mine and supplicated: "O Allah, grant me forgiveness. Unite me with the Highest Companion." Hazrat Ayesha says: "These were the last words I heard from him (peace be upon him)."
حضرت عائشہ فرماتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ان کلمات کے ذریعہ تعویذ (دم) کرتے تھے۔ ” لوگوں کے رب تکلیف کو دور فرما۔ تو شفا دے اور تو ہی شفا دینے والا ہے، تیری شفا کے سوا کوئی شفا نہیں ہے ایسی شفا دے کہ کوئی بیماری باقی نہ رہے۔ “ حضرت عائشہ فرماتی ہیں : جب رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کا مرض بڑھ گیا جس مرض میں آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی وفات ہوئی تھی تو میں آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کا ہاتھ پکڑتی، پس میں آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ہاتھ کو ہی آپ کے جسم پر پھیرتی رہتی تھیں اور یہ دعا پڑھتی رہتی تھی : فرماتی ہیں : کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اپنا ہاتھ میرے ہاتھ سے چھڑایا اور یہ دعا پڑھی : اے اللہ ! تو مجھے معاف فرما۔ مجھے رفیق سے ملا دے ، حضرت عائشہ فرماتی ہیں ! یہ آخری بات تھی جو میں نے آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے کلام سے سنی تھی۔
Hazrat Ayesha farmati hain keh Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) in kalmat ke zariye taweez (dam) karte thay. “Logon ke Rab takleef ko door farma. Tu shifa de aur tu hi shifa dene wala hai, teri shifa ke siwa koi shifa nahi hai aisi shifa de keh koi bimari baqi na rahe. “ Hazrat Ayesha farmati hain : Jab Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ka marz barh gaya jis marz mein aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki wafat hui thi to main aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ka hath pakarti, pas main aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke hath ko hi aap ke jism par phirti rehti thin aur yeh dua parhti rehti thi : Farmati hain : keh aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne apna hath mere hath se chhura liya aur yeh dua parhi : Aye Allah ! Tu mujhe maaf farma. Mujhe rafeeq se mila de , Hazrat Ayesha farmati hain ! Yeh aakhri baat thi jo maine aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke kalam se suni thi.
Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that indeed the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to supplicate for the sick in this way: "O Lord of the people! Remove the ailment. Grant cure, for You are the Curer. There is no cure but Yours. Grant such a cure that no ailment remains."
Hazrat Sufian said: I mentioned this Hadith in front of Hazrat Mansoor, so he also narrated this Hadith from the aforementioned chain.
حضرت عائشہ فرماتی ہیں کہ یقیناً نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) مریض کے لیے یوں دعا فرمایا کرتے تھے ۔ لوگوں کے رب ! تکلیف کو دور فرما۔ تو شفا دے تو ہی شفا دینے والا ہے، تیری شفاء کے علاوہ کوئی شفاء نہیں ہے، ایسی شفا دے کہ کوئی بیماری باقی نہ رہے۔
حضرت سفیان فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے یہ حدیث حضرت منصور کے سامنے ذکر کی تو انھوں نے یہ حدیث مذکورہ سند سے بھی بیان کی۔
Hazrat Ayesha farmati hain keh yaqeenan Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) mareed ke liye yun dua farmaya karte thay. Logon ke Rab! Takleef ko door farma. Tu shifa de to hi shifa dene wala hai, teri shifa ke ilawa koi shifa nahi hai, aisi shifa de keh koi bimari baqi na rahe.
Hazrat Sufian farmate hain keh maine yeh hadees Hazrat Mansoor ke samne zikar ki to unhon ne yeh hadees mazkoora sanad se bhi bayan ki.
Hazrat Ali narrates that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would visit a sick person, he would supplicate, "O Lord of the people! Remove the hardship, grant cure, for You are the Curer. There is no cure except Your cure."
حضرت علی فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) جب کسی مریض پر داخل ہوتے تو یوں دعا پڑھتے : لوگوں کے رب ! تکلیف کو دور فرما۔ تو شفا دے تو ہی شفا دینے والا ہے، تیرے سوا کوئی شفا دینے والا نہیں۔
Hazrat Ali farmate hain keh Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) jab kisi mareed par dakhil hote to yun dua parhte: Logon ke Rab! Takleef ko door farma. Tu shifa de to hi shifa dene wala hai, tere siwa koi shifa dene wala nahi.
Hazrat Aisha narrates that Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to apply his blessed saliva on his finger and supplicate for the sick in the following words: 'In the name of Allah, with the soil of our earth and the saliva of some of us, may our sick be cured, with the permission of our Lord.'
حضرت عائشہ فرماتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اپنے لعاب مبارک کو انگلی پر لگا کر مریض کے لیے یوں دعا کرتے تھے : اللہ کے نام کے ساتھ، ہماری زمین کی مٹی اور ہم میں بعض کے لعاب کے ذریعہ ہمارے مریض کو شفا دی جائے ہمارے رب کی اجازت سے۔
Hazrat Ayesha farmati hain keh Rasool Allah apne laab mubarak ko ungli par laga kar mareed ke liye yun dua karte thy: Allah ke naam ke saath, hamari zameen ki mitti aur hum mein baaz ke laab ke zariye hamare mareed ko shifa di jaye hamare Rab ki ijazat se.
Hazrat Abu Hurairah narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) entered upon me while I was ill. He said: Shall I not treat you with the Ruqyah (incantation) that Jibril taught me? In the name of Allah, I recite Ruqyah for you, and may Allah cure you, from every ailment that afflicts you, and from the evil of the blowers in knots, and from the evil of the envier when he envies.
حضرت ابوہریرہ فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) مجھ پر داخل ہوئے اس حال میں کہ میں تکلیف میں تھا۔ پھر فرمانے لگے : کیا میں تمہیں دم نہ کروں جو دم مجھے حضرت جبرائیل نے سکھایا ہے ! اللہ کے نام کے ساتھ میں تجھے دم کرتا ہوں اور اللہ ہی تجھے شفا دے ہر اس عضو سے جو تجھے تکلیف دے اور گرہوں میں پھونکنے والیوں کے شر سے، اور حسد کرنے والے کے شر سے جب وہ حسد کرے۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira farmate hain keh Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) mujh per dakhil huye iss haal mein keh mein takleef mein tha. Phir farmane lage: kya mein tumhen dum na karoon jo dum mujhe Hazrat Jibraeel ne sikhaya hai! Allah ke naam ke sath mein tumhe dum karta hun aur Allah hi tumhe shifa de har uss uzv se jo tumhe takleef de aur grahon mein phoonkne walon ke shar se, aur hasad karne wale ke shar se jab woh hasad kare.
Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever visits a sick person whose death is not near, he should recite these words seven times: 'I ask Allah, the Mighty, the Lord of the Great Throne, to heal you.' So he will be cured."
حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ارشاد فرمایا : جو شخص کسی ایسے مریض کے پاس جائے جس کی موت قریب نہ ہو تو وہ سات مرتبہ یہ کلمات پڑھ لے : مں فاللہ سے سوال کرتا ہوں جو عظمت والا ہے، عرش عظیم کا رب ہے کہ وہ تجھے شفا دے، تو اس مریض کو شفا دی جائے گی۔
Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas farmate hain keh Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne irshad farmaya: Jo shakhs kisi aise mareez ke pass jaye jis ki mout qareeb na ho to woh saat martaba yeh kalmaat parh le: Main Allah se sawal karta hun jo Azmat wala hai, Arsh Azeem ka Rabb hai keh woh tujhe shifa de, to us mareez ko shifa di jayegi.
"Hazrat Ubadah bin As-Samit narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Jibril (AS) performed Ruqya for me at the time when I (ﷺ) was suffering from a high fever. So, he said these words: 'In the Name of Allah, I perform Ruqya for you, from every disease that troubles you, from every envier when he envies, and from every evil eye. May Allah grant you cure.'"
حضرت عبادہ بن الصامت ، نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے حوالہ سے بیان فرماتے ہیں : جبرائیل نے آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو دم کیا اس حال میں کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سخت بخار میں مبتلا تھے، پس یہ کلمات پڑھے ! اللہ کے نام کے ساتھ میں آپ کو دم کرتا ہوں، ہر اس بیماری سے جو آپ کو تکلیف پہنچائے، ہر حسد کرنے والے سے جب وہ حسد کرے اور ہر (بُری) آنکھ سے، اور اللہ کا نام ہی آپ کو شفا دے گا۔
Hazrat Ubadah bin Al-Samit, Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke hawale se bayan farmate hain : Jibraeel ne aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko dum kia is hal mein ke aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) sakht bukhar mein mubtala the, pas ye kalmat parhe ! Allah ke naam ke sath mein aap ko dum karta hun, har us bimari se jo aap ko takleef pahunchaye, har hasid karne wale se jab wo hasid kare aur har (buri) aankh se, aur Allah ka naam hi aap ko shifa dega.
Muhammad bin Hatib narrated: "I picked up a hot pot and burned my hand. My mother took me to a man sitting in a high place. My mother said to him: 'O Messenger of Allah! ' He said: 'May you be blessed and fortunate. Tell me.' My mother brought me closer to him. He blew on my hand and said something, but I could not understand what he was saying. Later, I asked my mother what he was reciting. My mother said: 'He was reciting these words: 'Lord of the people! Remove the pain. You are the Healer, and there is no healer but You.'"
حضرت محمد بن حاطب فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے گرم ہانڈی پکڑ لی تو میرا ہاتھ جل گیا ، پھر میری والدہ مجھے ایک آدمی کے پاس لے گئیں جو بلند جگہ میں بیٹھا تھا، میری والدہ نے ان کو کہا : اے اللہ کے رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ! تو انھوں نے فرمایا : تم خوش بخت و خوش نصیب رہو فرماؤ پھر میری والدہ نے مجھے ان کے قریب کردیا، پس وہ پھونک مارتے تھے اور کچھ بولتے تھے، میں نہیں جان پا رہا تھا کہ وہ کیا کہہ رہے ہیں، پھر بعد میں میں نے اپنی والدہ سے پوچھا کہ وہ کیا پڑھ رہے تھے ؟ والدہ نے فرمایا : وہ یہ کلمات پڑھ رہے تھے : لوگوں کے رب ! تکلیف کو دور فرما۔ تو شفا دے اور تو ہی شفا دینے والا ہے۔ تیرے سوا کوئی شفا دینے والا نہیں ہے۔
Hazrat Muhammad bin Hatib farmate hain ke maine garam handi pakad li to mera hath jal gaya, phir meri walida mujhe ek aadmi ke paas le gayeen jo buland jaga mein betha tha, meri walida ne un ko kaha: Aye Allah ke Rasool (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)! to unhon ne farmaya: Tum khushbakht o khush nasib raho farmayo phir meri walida ne mujhe un ke qareeb kar diya, pas wo phoonk marte thay aur kuch bolte thay, mein nahin jaan pa raha tha ke wo kya keh rahe hain, phir baad mein maine apni walida se poocha ke wo kya padh rahe thay? walida ne farmaya: wo ye kalmaat padh rahe thay: Logon ke Rabb! takleef ko door farma. to shifa de aur tu hi shifa dene wala hai. tere siwa koi shifa dene wala nahin hai.
Abdullah ibn Abbas narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to recite these words over Hasan and Husayn: "I seek refuge for both of you in the perfect words of Allah from every devil and harmful creature, and from the evil of every evil eye." Ibn Abbas said that Ibrahim used to recite these words over Isma'il and Ishaq (peace be upon them).
حضرت عبداللہ بن عباس فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) حضرات حسنین کو ان کلمات کے ذریعہ دم کرتے تھے : میں تم دونوں کو اللہ کے مکمل کلمات کی پناہ میں دیتا ہوں ہر شیطان اور مؤذی جانور کے شر سے، اور ہر بری آنکھ کے شر سے۔ حضرت ابن عباس فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت ابراہیم بھی حضرت اسماعیل اور حضرت اسحاق (علیہ السلام) کو ان کلمات کے ذریعہ دم کرتے تھے۔
Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas farmate hain keh Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) Hazrat Hasnain ko in kalmaat ke zariye dum karte thay: main tum donon ko Allah ke mukammal kalmaat ki panaah mein deta hun har shaitan aur mozi janwar ke shar se, aur har buri aankh ke shar se. Hazrat Ibn Abbas farmate hain keh Hazrat Ibrahim bhi Hazrat Ismail aur Hazrat Ishaq (Alaihis Salam) ko in kalmaat ke zariye dum karte thay.
Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Abbas narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to perform Damm for Hazrat Hussain. Then the narrator mentioned the same narration as before, but did not mention the word "evil".
حضرت عبداللہ ابن عباس فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) حضرات حسنین کو دم کرتے تھے، پھر راوی نے آگے ما قبل والی حدیث جیسا مضمون ذکر کیا۔ مگر لفظ ” شر “ نہیں بیان کیا۔
Hazrat Abdullah ibn Abbas farmate hain ki Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) Hazrat Hasanain ko dum karte thay, phir ravi ne aage ma qabal wali hadees jaisa mazmoon zikar kya magar lafz "shar" nahin bayan kya.
Hazrat Ali says that I was suffering from an ailment. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) visited me while I was praying, "O Allah! If my death is near, then grant me comfort through death. And if there is a delay in my death, then grant me recovery or grant me well-being. If there is any hardship, then grant me patience." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked, "What are you reciting?" Hazrat Ali says, "I recited those words in front of you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)." So you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) placed your blessed hand on me and prayed, "O Allah! Grant him recovery or grant him well-being." Hazrat Ali says, "After that, I never experienced that ailment again."
حضرت علی فرماتے ہیں کہ میں تکلیف میں مبتلا تھا پس نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) میرے پاس تشریف لائے اس حال میں کہ میں یوں دعا کررہا تھا : اے اللہ ! اگر میری موت حاضر ہے تو مجھے موت کے ذریعہ راحت پہنچا۔ اور اگر ابھی موت مںِ تاخیر ہے تو مجھے شفا بخش یا مجھے عافیت عطا فرما، اگر کوئی مصیبت ہے تو مجھے صبر سے نواز دے۔ تو نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : تم کیا پڑھ رہے ہو ؟ حضرت علی فرماتے ہیں : میں نے آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے سامنے وہ کلمات پڑھے، تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے اپنا ہاتھ مبارک مجھ پر پھیرا پھر یوں دعا پڑھی : اے اللہ ! تو اس کو شفا بخش یا تو اس کو عافیت بخش دے۔ حضرت علی فرماتے ہیں : پھر کبھی مجھے یہ تکلیف نہیں ہوئی۔
Hazrat Ali farmate hain ke mein takleef mein mubtila tha pas Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) mere pass tashreef laaye iss haal mein ke mein yun dua kar raha tha: Aye Allah! Agar meri maut hazir hai to mujhe maut ke zariye rahat pahuncha. Aur agar abhi maut mein takheer hai to mujhe shifa bakhsh ya mujhe afiyat ata farma, agar koi musibat hai to mujhe sabar se nawaz de. To Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: Tum kya parh rahe ho? Hazrat Ali farmate hain: Maine aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke samne wo kalmat parhe, to aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne apna hath mubarak mujh par phayra phir yun dua parhi: Aye Allah! To iss ko shifa bakhsh ya to iss ko afiyat bakhsh de. Hazrat Ali farmate hain: Phir kabhi mujhe yeh takleef nahin hui.
Hazrat Usman bin Abi Al-Aas Al-Thaqafi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I went to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and I was suffering from severe pain, I was about to commit some wrong deeds due to it. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to me: "Place your right hand on the place of pain and then recite these words seven times: 'I begin with the Name of Allah, and I seek refuge in the Majesty of Allah and in His Power from the evil of what I find and what I fear.'" Hazrat Usman bin Abi Al-Aas Al-Thaqafi (may Allah be pleased with him) said: So I did that, and Allah, the Exalted, granted me healing.
حضرت عثمان بن ابی العاص الثقفی فرماتے ہیں کہ میں رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس حاضر ہوا اور میں شدید تکلیف میں مبتلا تھا، قریب تھا کہ یہ تکلیف مجھے کسی باطل کام میں مبتلا کر دے، رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے مجھے فرمایا : اپنا داہنا ہاتھ تکلیف والی جگہ پر رکھو، پھر سات مرتبہ یہ کلمات پڑھو : اللہ کے نام سے شروع کرتا ہوں، میں اللہ کی عزت اور اس کی قدرت کی برکت سے پناہ مانگتا ہوں ہر اس چیز کے شر سے جو میں پاتا ہوں۔ حضرت عثمان بن ابی العاص الثقفی فرماتے ہیں ! پس میں نے ایسا ہی کیا، تو اللہ عزوجل نے مجھے شفا عطا فرما دی۔
Hazrat Usman bin Abi al-As al-Thaqafi farmate hain ke main Rasul Allah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) ke paas hazir hua aur main shadid takleef mein mubtala tha, qareeb tha ke yeh takleef mujhe kisi baatil kaam mein mubtala kar de, Rasul Allah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) ne mujhe farmaya : apna dahina hath takleef wali jagah par rakho, phir saat martaba yeh kalmaat parho : Allah ke naam se shuru karta hun, main Allah ki izzat aur us ki qudrat ki barkat se panah mangta hun har us cheez ke shar se jo main paata hun. Hazrat Usman bin Abi al-As al-Thaqafi farmate hain! Pas main ne aisa hi kiya, to Allah Azzawajal ne mujhe shifa ata farma di.
Hazrat Ibn Abbas narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to teach us this supplication for all kinds of pain and fever: "I begin with the name of Allah, Who is the Greatest. I seek refuge in Allah, the Mighty, from the evil of every vein that throbs with pain, and from the evil of the heat of fire."
حضرت ابن عباس فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ہمیں تمام تکالیف اور بخار کے لیے یہ دعا سکھلایا کرتے تھے : اللہ کے نام سے شروع کرتا ہوں جو بہت بڑا ہے ، میں اللہ کی پناہ مانگتا ہوں جو کہ عظمت والا ہے ہر اس رگ کے شر سے جو فساد پیدا کرے، اور آگ کی گرمی کے شر سے۔
Hazrat Ibn Abbas farmate hain keh Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) humain tamam takaleef aur bukhar ke liye yeh dua sikhlaya karte thay: Allah ke naam se shuru karta hun jo bohat bara hai, main Allah ki panaah mangta hun jo keh azmat wala hai har us rag ke shar se jo fasad peda kare, aur aag ki garmi ke shar se.
Hazrat Fazil bin Amr narrates that a man came to Hazrat Ali and said that so and so person is very ill. Hazrat Ali said: Do you like him to be healthy from illness? The man said: Yes! You said: Read these words three times, O Patient One, O Most Merciful, You grant healing.
حضرت فضیل بن عمرو فرماتے ہیں کہ ایک آدمی حضرت علی کے پاس حاضر ہوا اور کہنے لگا کہ فلاں شخص بہت بیمار ہے، حضرت علی نے فرمایا : اس کا بیماری سے تندرست ہونا تجھے پسند ہے ؟ اس شخص نے کہا : جی ہاں ! آپ نے فرمایا : تم تین مرتبہ یہ کلمات پڑھو ، اے بردبار، اے بہت کرم کرنے والے تو شفا عطا فرما۔
Hazrat Fazil bin Amro farmate hain ke ek aadmi Hazrat Ali ke paas hazir hua aur kahne laga ke falan shaks bahut bimaar hai, Hazrat Ali ne farmaya : Is ka bimaari se tandarust hona tujhe pasand hai ? Iss shaks ne kaha : Ji haan ! Aap ne farmaya : Tum teen martaba ye kalmaat padho, Aye burdbar, Aye bahut karam karne wale tu shifa ata farma.
Hazrat Abu Saeed narrates that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) fell ill, Jibril (Gabriel) performed Ruqyah on him (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). So he recited these words, "In the name of Allah, I perform Ruqyah on you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) from every thing that harms you, from the evil of every envier and from the evil eye, and may Allah grant you cure."
حضرت ابو سعید فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) بیمار ہوگئے تو جبرائیل نے آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو دم کیا۔ پس یہ کلمات پڑھے، اللہ کے نام کے ساتھ میں آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو دم کرتا ہوں، ہر اس چیز سے جو آپ کو ایذا پہنچائے، ہر حسد کرنے والے سے اور بری آنکھ سے، اور اللہ ہی آپ کو شفا دے گا۔

Hazrat Umrah bint Abdur Rahman narrated that Ummul Mu'mineen Hazrat Aisha fell ill. Hazrat Abu Bakr came to visit her while a Jewish woman was blowing on her with ruqyah. You [the Prophet] said: "Perform ruqyah on her with the Book of Allah."
حضرت عمرہ بنت عبد الرحمن فرماتی ہیں کہ ام المؤمنین حضرت عائشہ بیمار ہوگئیں۔ اور حضرت ابوبکر ان کے پاس تشریف لائے اس حال میں کہ ایک یہودی عورت ان کو جھاڑ پھونک کر رہی تھی، تو آپ نے فرمایا : اس کو کتاب اللہ کے ساتھ دم کرو۔
Hazrat Umrah binat Abdur Rahman farmati hain keh Umm ul Momineen Hazrat Ayesha bemar hogayin. Aur Hazrat Abu Bakr un ke pass tashreef laye is hal mein keh aik yahoodi aurat un ko jhar phoonk kar rahi thi, to aap ne farmaya: is ko kitab Allah ke sath dum karo.
Hazrat Anas narrates that when Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would visit a sick person, he would pray: "O Lord of the people! Remove the ailment, and grant cure, for You are the Curer. There is no cure except Your cure. Grant such a cure that no ailment remains."
حضرت انس ارشاد فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) جب کسی مریض کے پاس تشریف لے جاتے تو یوں دعا فرماتے، لوگوں کے رب ! تکلیف کو دور فرما، اور تو شفا دے تو ہی شفا دینے والا ہے، تیرے سوا کوئی شفا دینے والا نہیں ہے، ایسی شفا دے جس کے بعد کوئی بیماری باقی نہ رہے۔
Hazrat Anas irshad farmate hain keh Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) jab kisi mareed ke pass tashreef le jate to yun dua farmate, logon ke Rab! Takleef ko door farma, aur Tu shifa de to Tu hi shifa dene wala hai, Tere siwa koi shifa dene wala nahi hai, aisi shifa de jis ke baad koi bimari baqi na rahe.
