It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "The people before you were destroyed by this dinar and dirham, and these two will destroy you as well."
حضرت ابوموسیٰ (رض) سے روایت ہے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ تم سے پہلے جو لوگ تھے انھیں اس دینار اور درہم نے ہلاک کیا تھا اور یہی دو تمہیں بھی ہلاک کرنے والے ہیں۔
Hazrat Abu Musa (RA) se riwayat hai woh kehte hain ke tum se pehle jo log thay unhen is dinar aur dirham ne halak kiya tha aur yahi do tumhen bhi halak karne wale hain.
Hazrat Ibn Abi Musa, narrates from his father that ( وَلِمَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِ جَنَّتَانِ) It is stated: "There will be two golden Paradises for the earlier ones (those who came before) and there will be two silver Paradises for the later ones (those who came after)."
حضرت ابن ابی موسیٰ ، اپنے والد سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ (وَلِمَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّہِ جَنَّتَانِ ) فرمایا : سابقین کے لیے دو سونے کی جنتیں ہوں گی اور تابعین کے لیے دو چاندی کی جنتیں ہوں گی۔
Hazrat Ibn e Abi Musa apne walid se riwayat karte hain ke (Wa liman khafa maqama rabbihi Jannataan) farmaya: Saabiqeen ke liye do sone ki jannaten hongi aur Tabayeen ke liye do chandi ki jannaten hongi.
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said that on the Day of Judgement, the sun will be above the heads of the people and the deeds of the people will either shade them or leave them exposed to the sun.
حضرت ابوموسیٰ (رض) سے روایت ہے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ قیامت کے دن سورج لوگوں کے سروں پر ہوگا اور لوگوں کے اعمال لوگوں پر سایہ کریں گے یا ان کو سورج کے لیے چھوڑیں گے۔
Hazrat Abu Musa (RA) se riwayat hai woh kehte hain ke qayamat ke din suraj logon ke saron par hoga aur logon ke amal logon par saya karenge ya un ko suraj ke liye chhodenge.
It is narrated on the authority of Masruq that he said: We were with Abu Musa al-Ash'ari, when he said: We came to a desolate garden one night." Masruq said: Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) stood up at night, prayed, recited beautifully and then said: "O Allah! You are a believer and You love a believer. You are dominant and you love the dominant. You are peace and you love peace. You are true and you love the truthful one."
حضرت مسروق سے روایت ہے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم حضرت ابوموسیٰ (رض) کے ساتھ تھے کہتے ہیں : پس ہم رات کو ایک ویران باغ میں آئے۔ مسروق کہتے ہیں حضرت ابوموسیٰ (رض) رات کو کھڑے ہوئے، نماز پڑھی، خوبصورت قراءت کی پھر کہا : اے اللہ ! تو مومن ہے اور مومن کو پسند کرتا ہے۔ مہیمن ہے اور مہیمن کو پسند کرتا ہے۔ سلام ہے اور سلامتی کو پسند کرتا ہے۔ سچا ہے اور سچے کو پسند کرتا ہے۔
Hazrat Masrooq se riwayat hai wo kehte hain keh hum Hazrat Abumusa (Raz) ke sath thay kehte hain: Pas hum raat ko aik wairan bagh mein aye. Masrooq kehte hain Hazrat Abumusa (Raz) raat ko kharay huay, namaz parhi, khoobsurat qirat ki phir kaha: Aye Allah! Tu momin hai aur momin ko pasand karta hai. Momin hai aur momin ko pasand karta hai. Salam hai aur salamti ko pasand karta hai. Sacha hai aur sache ko pasand karta hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: When the soul of a believer departs, it is more fragrant than musk. The narrator says: Then the angels who took out this soul take it up. Then these angels meet other angels before the heaven, and they ask: Who is this with you? These angels reply: So-and-so. And the angels mention him by his best deeds. Upon this, the questioning angels say: May Allah Almighty have mercy on you and on the one who is with you. The narrator says: Then the gates of heaven are opened for him. The narrator says: Then his face becomes bright. So when he comes to his Lord, there is evidence like the sun in his face. It is said: And as for the other, when his soul is taken out, it is more foul-smelling than carrion. When the angels who are extracting it take it up, some angels meet them before the heaven and say: Who is this? The angels say: So-and-so. And they mention his worst deeds. The narrator says: Upon this, those angels say: Take him back. Allah Almighty did no injustice to him. The narrator says: Then Hazrat Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) recited this verse: {And they will not enter Paradise until the camel goes through the eye of the needle.}
حضرت ابوموسیٰ (رض) سے روایت ہے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ مومن کی روح نکلتی ہے تو وہ مشک سے زیادہ خوشبو والی ہوتی ہے۔ راوی کہتے ہیں پھر جن فرشتوں نے اس روح کو نکالا ہوتا ہے وہ فرشتے اس کو لے کر اوپر جاتے ہیں۔ پھر ان فرشتوں کو آسمان سے پہلے ہی اور فرشتے ملتے ہیں اور پوچھتے ہیں : یہ تمہارے ساتھ کون ہے ؟ یہ فرشتے جواب دیتے ہیں کہ فلاں ہے اور فرشتے اس کا ذکر اس کے بہترین عمل کے ذریعہ سے کرتے ہیں۔ اس پر سوال کرنے والے فرشتے کہتے ہیں : خدا تعالیٰ تم پر بھی رحمت کرے اور جو تمہارے ساتھ ہے اس پر بھی رحمت کرے۔ راوی کہتے ہیں پھر اس کے لیے آسمان کے دروازے کھول دئیے جاتے ہیں۔ راوی کہتے ہیں پھر اس کا چہرہ روشن ہوجاتا ہے۔ پس وہ پروردگار کے پاس آتا ہے تو اس کے چہرے میں سورج کی مثل دلیل موجود ہوتی ہے۔ فرمایا : اور جو دوسرا ہے اس کی روح نکلتی ہے جبکہ وہ مردار سے زیادہ بدبودار ہوتی ہے۔ جو فرشتے اس کو نکالتے ہیں وہ اس کو لے کر اوپر جاتے ہیں تو آسمان سے پہلے کچھ فرشتے انھیں ملتے ہیں اور کہتے ہیں : یہ کون ہے ؟ فرشتے کہتے ہیں فلاں ہے۔ اور اس کے بدترین عمل کا ذکر کرتے ہیں۔ راوی کہتے ہیں : اس پر وہ فرشتے کہتے ہیں : اس کو واپس کردو۔ اس پر اللہ تعالیٰ نے کوئی ظلم نہیں کیا۔ راوی کہتے ہیں پھر حضرت ابوموسیٰ (رض) نے یہ آیت پڑھی : { وَلاَ یَدْخُلُونَ الْجَنَّۃَ حَتَّی یَلِجَ الْجَمَلُ فِی سَمِّ الْخِیَاطِ }
Hazrat Abu Musa (RA) se riwayat hai woh kehte hain ke momin ki rooh nikalti hai tou woh mushk se zyada khushboo wali hoti hai. Ravi kehte hain phir jin farishton ne us rooh ko nikala hota hai woh farishte us ko lekar upar jate hain. Phir un farishton ko aasman se pehle hi aur farishte milte hain aur poochte hain: Yeh tumhare saath kon hai? Yeh farishte jawab dete hain ke falan hai aur farishte us ka zikar us ke behtarin amal ke zariye se karte hain. Is par sawal karne wale farishte kehte hain: Khuda Ta'ala tum par bhi rehmat kare aur jo tumhare saath hai us par bhi rehmat kare. Ravi kehte hain phir us ke liye aasman ke darwaze khol diye jate hain. Ravi kehte hain phir us ka chehra roshan hojata hai. Pas woh Parwardigaar ke paas aata hai tou us ke chehre mein suraj ki misl daleel mojood hoti hai. Farmaya: Aur jo doosra hai us ki rooh nikalti hai jabke woh murdaar se zyada badbudaar hoti hai. Jo farishte us ko nikalte hain woh us ko lekar upar jate hain tou aasman se pehle kuch farishte unhen milte hain aur kehte hain: Yeh kon hai? Farishte kehte hain falan hai. Aur us ke badtareen amal ka zikar karte hain. Ravi kehte hain: Is par woh farishte kehte hain: Is ko wapas kardo. Is par Allah Ta'ala ne koi zulm nahin kiya. Ravi kehte hain phir Hazrat Abu Musa (RA) ne yeh ayat padhi: { walaa yadkhuloonaal jannata hattay yalijal jamalu fee sammil khiyaat }
It is narrated on the authority of Hadrat Muhammad that he said that Hadrat Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) wrote a letter to Hadrat Amr on behalf of Abdullah bin Qais to Amr bin Abdullah... who was formerly known as Abd Qais... but later! So I made a covenant with you on one matter and it has reached me that you have changed. So if you are upon the covenant I made with you, then fear Allah and remain steadfast. And if you have changed, then fear Allah and come back.
حضرت محمد سے روایت ہے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ حضرت ابوموسیٰ (رض) نے حضرت عامر کو خط لکھا عبداللہ بن قیس کی طرف سے عامر بن عبداللہ کی طرف ۔۔۔ جس کو پہلے عبد قیس کہا جاتا تھا ۔۔۔ اما بعد ! پس میں نے تمہارے ساتھ ایک بات پر عہد کیا تھا اور مجھے یہ بات پہنچی ہے کہ تم بدل گئے ہو۔ لہٰذا اگر تم میرے کیے ہوئے معاہدہ پر ہو تو خدا سے ڈرو اور مداومت رکھو۔ اور اگر تم بدل گئے ہو تو خدا سے ڈرو اور واپس آجاؤ۔
Hazrat Muhammad se riwayat hai woh kehte hain keh Hazrat Abumusa (RA) ne Hazrat Aamir ko khat likha Abdullah bin Qais ki taraf se Aamir bin Abdullah ki taraf ... jis ko pehle Abd Qais kaha jata tha ... amma baad! Pas maine tumhare sath ek baat par ahd kiya tha aur mujhe yeh baat pohanchi hai keh tum badal gaye ho. Lihaza agar tum mere kiye huye moahida par ho to Khuda se daro aur mudawamat rakho. Aur agar tum badal gaye ho to Khuda se daro aur wapas aajao.
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "A good companion is better than solitude, and solitude is better than a bad companion. Beware! The example of a good companion is like that of perfume; even if he does not give it to you, you will still smell its fragrance. And beware! The example of a bad companion is like that of the smoke of a furnace; even if it does not burn you, its stench will reach you. Beware! The heart is called the heart because of its turning. Beware! The example of the heart is like that of a feather hanging from a tree in the air above the ground, that the wind keeps turning it up and down."
حضرت ابوموسیٰ (رض) سے روایت ہے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ اچھا ہم نشین، خلوت سے بہتر ہوتا ہے اور خلوت، برے ہم نشین سے بہتر ہے۔ خبردار ! اچھے ہم نشین کی مثال عطر کی سی ہے اگر وہ تجھے نہ بھی دے تو بھی خوشبو لگ کر تم مہک جاؤ گے۔ اور خبردار ! برے ہم نشین کی مثال بھٹی کی دھونی کی سی ہے اگر وہ تمہیں نہ جلائے تو اس کی بو تمہیں پہنچ جائے گی۔ خبردار ! دل کو دل اس کے پلٹنے کی وجہ سے کہا جاتا ہے۔ خبردار ! دل کی مثال زمین کے اوپر فضا میں درخت کے ساتھ لٹکے ہوئے پر کی سی ہے۔ کہ ہوا اس کو اوپر، نیچے کی جانب پلٹتی رہتی ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Moosa (RA) se riwayat hai woh kehte hain ke acha hum nashi, khalwat se behtar hota hai aur khalwat, bure hum nashi se behtar hai. Khabar dar! Ache hum nashi ki misaal attar ki si hai agar woh tujhe na bhi de to bhi khushbu lag kar tum mehak jao ge. Aur khabar dar! Bure hum nashi ki misaal bhatti ki dhuni ki si hai agar woh tumhen na jalaye to us ki boo tumhen pohanch jaye gi. Khabar dar! Dil ko dil us ke palatne ki wajah se kaha jata hai. Khabar dar! Dil ki misaal zameen ke upar faza mein darakht ke sath latke hue par ki si hai. Ke hawa us ko upar, neeche ki janib palatti rehti hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Hadrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: We were with Hadrat Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) at his house when he heard some people talking. He listened to them with eloquence and fluency. The narrator says: He said, "O Anas! Come, let us remember Allah for a while, for these are such that one of them would cut leather with his tongue." Then you (may Allah be pleased with you) said, "What has prevented people from the Hereafter? What has stopped them from it?" The narrator says: I said, "The world and its desires." You (may Allah be pleased with you) said, "No. Rather, the Hereafter is hidden from the eyes and the world is present. If people were to examine (the matter), they would not be just between them, nor would they hesitate."
حضرت انس (رض) سے روایت ہے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم حضرت ابوموسیٰ (رض) کے ہمراہ ان کے گھر پر تھے کہ انھوں نے کچھ لوگوں کو باتیں کرتے سنا اور انھوں نے فصاحت و بلاغت کے ساتھ سنا۔ راوی کہتے ہیں انھوں نے فرمایا : اے انس ! آؤ، ہم کچھ دیر اللہ کا ذکر کرلیں۔ کیونکہ یہ تو ایسے ہیں کہ ان میں سے کوئی ایک اپنی زبان سے چمڑے کو کاٹ دے پھر آپ (رض) نے فرمایا : کس چیز نے لوگوں کو آخرت سے روکا ہے ؟ کس چیز نے انھیں اس سے روکا ہے ؟ راوی کہتے ہیں میں نے کہا : دنیا اور خواہشات۔ آپ (رض) نے فرمایا : نہیں۔ بلکہ آخرت آنکھوں سے غائب ہے اور دنیا حاضر ہے۔ اگر لوگ معائنہ کرلیں تو ان کے درمیان عدل نہ کریں اور نہ متردد ہوں۔
Hazrat Anas (RA) se riwayat hai woh kehte hain keh hum Hazrat Abu Musa (RA) ke hamrah un ke ghar par thay keh unhon ne kuch logon ko baatein karte suna aur unhon ne fasahat o balaaghat ke saath suna. Ravi kehte hain unhon ne farmaya: Aye Anas! Aaao, hum kuch der Allah ka zikr kar lein. Kyun ki yeh to aise hain keh in mein se koi aik apni zubaan se chamre ko kaat de phir aap (RA) ne farmaya: Kis cheez ne logon ko aakhirat se roka hai? Kis cheez ne unhein is se roka hai? Ravi kehte hain maine kaha: Duniya aur khwahishat. Aap (RA) ne farmaya: Nahin. Balkeh aakhirat aankhon se ghaib hai aur duniya hazir hai. Agar log muaina kar lein to un ke darmiyan adl na karein aur na mutaraddid hon.
It is narrated on the authority of Hadrat Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: "This Qur'an will surely be a reward for you, and it will be a remembrance for you, and it will be a burden upon you. So follow the Qur'an and do not let the Qur'an follow you. For whoever follows the Qur'an, it will make him enter the Garden of Paradise, and whoever the Qur'an follows, it will seize him by his forelock and throw him into Hellfire."
حضرت ابوموسیٰ اشعری (رض) سے روایت ہے کہ انھوں نے فرمایا : بیشک یہ قرآن تمہارے لیے اجر ہوگا اور تمہارے لیے ذکر ہوگا۔ اور تمہارے اوپر بوجھ ہوگا۔ پس تم قرآن کی پیروی کرو اور قرآن کو اپنے پیچھے نہ لگاؤ۔ کیونکہ جو شخص قرآن کی پیروی کرے گا تو وہ اس کو جنت کے باغ میں اتار دے گا اور جس کے پیچھے قرآن لگ جائے گا وہ اس کو اس کی گدی سے پکڑ کر جہنم میں گرا دیتا ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Musa Ashari (RA) se riwayat hai ki unhon ne farmaya: Beshak yeh Quran tumhare liye ajr hoga aur tumhare liye zikr hoga. Aur tumhare upar bojh hoga. Pas tum Quran ki pairvi karo aur Quran ko apne peeche na lagao. Kyunki jo shakhs Quran ki pairvi kare ga to woh us ko jannat ke bagh mein utar de ga aur jis ke peeche Quran lag jaye ga woh us ko us ki gaddi se pakar kar jahannam mein gira deta hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said that when Satan wakes up in the morning, he sends out his army. One says: I remained with him continuously until he drank alcohol. Satan says: Well done. Another says: I remained with him continuously until he committed adultery. Satan says: Well done. One says: I remained with him continuously until he committed murder. Satan says: Well done.
حضرت ابوموسیٰ (رض) سے روایت ہے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ جب ابلیس صبح کرتا ہے تو اپنے لشکر کو بھیجتا ہے۔ ایک کہتا ہے : میں مسلسل ساتھ رہا یہاں تک کہ اس نے شراب پی لی۔ شیطان کہتا ہے تو ٹھیک ہے۔ ایک دوسرا کہتا ہے۔ میں مسلسل ساتھ رہا یہاں تک کہ اس نے زنا کرلیا۔ ابلیس کہتا ہے : تو ٹھیک ہے۔ ایک کہتا ہے : میں مسلسل ساتھ رہا یہاں تک کہ اس نے قتل کرلیا۔ ابلیس کہتا ہے۔ تو ٹھیک ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Moosa (RA) se riwayat hai woh kehte hain ke jab iblees subah karta hai to apne lashkar ko bhejta hai. Ek kehta hai: mein musalsal sath raha yahan tak ke usne sharab pi li. Shaitan kehta hai: tu theek hai. Ek doosra kehta hai: mein musalsal sath raha yahan tak ke usne zina karliya. Iblees kehta hai: tu theek hai. Ek kehta hai: mein musalsal sath raha yahan tak ke usne qatal karliya. Iblees kehta hai: tu theek hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Abu al-Aswad that he said that Hazrat Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) gathered the reciters of the Quran. You (may Allah be pleased with you) said: "Those who have memorized the Quran should come here." The narrator says that about three hundred of us gathered. Then you (may Allah be pleased with you) advised us and said: "You are the reciters of this city. Do not set your hopes too high, otherwise your hearts will become hardened as the hearts of the People of the Book have become hardened.
حضرت ابوالاسود سے روایت ہے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ حضرت ابوموسیٰ (رض) نے قراء کو جمع کیا۔ آپ (رض) نے فرمایا : یہاں وہی آئے جس نے قرآن جمع کیا ہے۔ راوی کہتے ہیں ہم تین صد کے قریب آدمی جمع ہوئے۔ پس آپ (رض) نے ہمیں نصیحت فرمائی اور کہا تم لوگ اس شہر کے قاری ہو۔ تم لوگ امیدیں لمبی نہ باندھو ورنہ تمہارے دل سخت ہوجائیں گے جس طرح اہل کتاب کے دل سخت ہوگئے تھے۔
Hazrat Abu Alaswad se riwayat hai woh kehte hain ke Hazrat Abu Musa (RA) ne qurra ko jama kiya. Aap (RA) ne farmaya: yahan wohi aaye jis ne Quran jama kiya hai. Ravi kehte hain hum teen sau ke qareeb aadmi jama huye. Pas aap (RA) ne humain nasihat farmai aur kaha tum log is sheher ke qari ho. Tum log umeedein lambi na baandho warna tumhare dil sakht hojaenge jis tarah ehl e kitab ke dil sakht hogaye thay.
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Burda that he said: My father sent me to Madinah and said: Meet the companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and ask them questions. And remember, I will ask you. So I met Hazrat Ibn Salam, he was a humble man.
حضرت ابوبردہ سے روایت ہے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ میرے والد نے مجھے مدینہ کی طرف بھیجا اور فرمایا : جناب رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے صحابہ سے ملو اور ان سے سوال کرو۔ اور یاد رکھو میں تم سے پوچھوں گا۔ چنانچہ میں حضرت ابن سلام کو ملا وہ ایک عاجز آدمی تھے۔
Hazrat Abu Burda se riwayat hai woh kehte hain ke mere walid ne mujhe Madina ki taraf bheja aur farmaya : Janab Rasul Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ke sahaba se milo aur un se sawal karo. Aur yaad rakho main tum se puchhunga. Chunancha main Hazrat Ibn Salam ko mila woh ek aajiz aadmi the.
