Ummul Momineen Hafsah (رضي الله تعالى عنها) narrated that when the Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) wanted to go to sleep, he put his right hand under his cheek and would then say three times, O Allah, guard me from Your punishment on the day when You raise up Your servants.

ام المؤمنین حفصہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ جب سونے کا ارادہ فرماتے تو اپنا داہنا ہاتھ اپنے گال کے نیچے رکھتے، پھر تین مرتبہ «اللهم قني عذابك يوم تبعث عبادك» اے اللہ جس دن تو اپنے بندوں کو اٹھائے اس دن مجھے اپنے عذاب سے بچا لے کہتے۔
ummul momineen hafsa radhiallahu anha se riwayat hai ke rasoolullah sallahu alaihi wa sallam jab sone ka irada farmatay to apna daahna hath apne gaal ke neeche rakhtay, phir teen martaba «allahum qani azabak yaum tab'ath ibadak» ay allah jis din tu apne bandon ko uthaye us din mujhe apne azab se bacha le kahatay.
Al-Bara bin Azib (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said to me, when you go to your bed, perform ablution like the ablution for prayer, and then lie on your right side and say – [O Allah I have handed over my face to You, entrusted my affairs to You, and committed my back to You out of desire for and fear to You. There is no refuge and no place of safety from You except by having recourse to You. I believe in Your Book which You have sent down and, in Your Prophet, (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) whom You have sent down]. He said, if you die (that night), you will die on the true religion, and utter these words in the last of that you utter (other prayers). Al-Bara (رضئ هللا تعالی عنہ) said, I memorized them, and then I repeated, saying ‘and in Your Apostle (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) whom You have sent.’ He said, no, say, and in Your Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) whom You have sent.

براء بن عازب رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے مجھ سے فرمایا: جب تم اپنی خواب گاہ میں آؤ ( یعنی سونے چلو ) تو وضو کرو جیسے اپنے نماز کے لیے وضو کرتے ہو، پھر اپنی داہنی کروٹ پر لیٹو، اور کہو «اللهم أسلمت وجهي إليك وفوضت أمري إليك وألجأت ظهري إليك رهبة ورغبة إليك لا ملجأ ولا منجى منك إلا إليك آمنت بكتابك الذي أنزلت وبنبيك الذي أرسلت» اے اللہ میں نے اپنی ذات کو تیری تابعداری میں دے دیا، میں نے اپنا معاملہ تیرے سپرد کر دیا، میں نے امید وبیم کے ساتھ تیری ذات پر بھروسہ کیا، تجھ سے بھاگ کر تیرے سوا کہیں اور جائے پناہ نہیں، میں ایمان لایا اس کتاب پر جو تو نے نازل فرمائی ہے، اور میں ایمان لایا تیرے اس نبی پر جسے تو نے بھیجا ہے آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: اگر تم ( یہ دعا پڑھ کر ) انتقال کر گئے تو فطرت ( یعنی دین اسلام ) پر انتقال ہوا اور اس دعا کو اپنی دیگر دعاؤں کے آخر میں پڑھو براء کہتے ہیں: اس پر میں نے کہا کہ میں انہیں یاد کر لوں گا، تو میں نے ( یاد کرتے ہوئے ) کہا «وبرسولك الذي أرسلت» تو آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ایسا نہیں بلکہ«وبنبيك الذي أرسلت» ( جیسا دعا میں ہے ویسے ہی کہو ) ۔
Bara bin Aazib ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a kehte hain ke Rasulullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mujh se farmaaya: jab tum apni khab gaah mein aao ( yani sone chalo ) to wazu karo jaise apni namaz ke liye wazu karte ho, phir apni daahni krot par leto, aur kaho «Allahumma Aslamtu Wajhi Ilayka Wa Fawwadtu Amri Ilayka Wa Alja'tu Zahri Ilayka Rahbata Wa Raghabata Ilayka La Malja Wa La Manja Min Ka Illa Ilayka Amantu Bikitabika Alladhi Anzaltu Wa Binabiyaka Alladhi Arsalta» ay Allah main ne apni zat ko teri tabedari mein de di, main ne apna maamla tere spard kar di, main ne umeed o bem ke sath teri zat par bharosa kiya, tujh se bhaag kar tere swa kahin aur jae panah nahi, main iman laya is kitab par jo tu ne nazil farmaai hai, aur main iman laya tere is Nabi par jise tu ne bheja hai aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaaya: agar tum ( yeh dua parh kar ) intaqal kar gae to fitrat ( yani din Islam ) par intagal hua aur is dua ko apni degar duaon ke akhir mein parho Bara kehte hain: is par main ne kaha ke main inhen yaad kar lun ga, to main ne ( yaad karte hue ) kaha «Wa Rasulka Alladhi Arsalta» to aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaaya: aisa nahi balki «Wa Nabiyaka Alladhi Arsalta» ( jaisa dua mein hai waise hi kaho ) .
Al-Bara b. Azib (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said to me: when you go to bed while you are in the state of purification, lay your head on your right hand. He then mentioned the rest of the tradition in a similar manner as above.

براء بن عازب رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے مجھ سے فرمایا: جب تم پاک و صاف ( باوضو ) ہو کر اپنے بستر پر ( سونے کے لیے ) آؤ تو اپنے داہنے ہاتھ کا تکیہ بناؤ پھر انہوں نے اسی طرح کی حدیث ذکر کی۔
Baraa bin Aazeb ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a kehte hain ke Rasoolal Allah sallahu alaihi wa sallam ne mujh se farmaya: Jab tum pak o saf ( bawazu) ho kar apne bistar par ( sone ke liye) ao to apne daahne hath ka takiya banao phir unhon ne isi tarah ki hadees zikr ki.
. The tradition mentioned above has also been transmitted by al-Bara bin Azib from the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) to the same effect through a different chain of narrators. One transmitter said, when you go to your bed while you are in the state of purification. The other said, perform ablution like the ablution for prayer. He then transmitted the tradition to the effect as Mu’tamir transmitted.

اس سند سے بھی براء رضی اللہ عنہ سے یہی حدیث نبی اکرم ﷺ سے مرفوعاً مروی ہے، سفیان ثوری کہتے ہیں: ایک راوی نے «إذا أتيت فراشك طاهرا» جب تم باوضو اپنے بستر پر آؤ کہا اور دوسرے نے «توضأ وضوءك للصلاة» تم جب نماز جیسا وضو کر لو کہا اور آگے راوی نے معتمر جیسی روایت بیان کی۔
Is sindh se bhi bara (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se yahi hadees nabi akram salla allahu alaihi wa sallam se marfu'an marwi hai, sufiyan thuri kehte hain: aik rawi ne «iza atita frashak tahaara» jab tum bawazu apne bistar par ao kaha aur dusre ne «tuzua wuzoo'k lilsalatah» tum jab namaz jesa wazu kar lo kaha aur aage rawi ne mu'tamir jaisi riwayat bayan ki.
Hudhaifah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that when the prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) lay down on his bed (at night), he would say – ُاللَّهُمَّ بِاسْمِكَ أَحْيَا وَأَمُوت [O Allah, in Your name I die and live]. When he awoke, he said – ُِ َّ ِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورالْحَمْدُ ّلِل [Praise be to Allah who has given us life after causing us to die and to whom we shall be resurrected].

حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ سونے کے وقت فرماتے: «اللهم باسمك أحيا وأموت» اے اللہ میں تیرے ہی نام پر جیتا اور مرتا ہوں اور جب بیدار ہوتے تو فرماتے «الحمد لله الذي أحيانا بعد ما أماتنا وإليه النشور» شکر ہے اللہ کا جس نے ہمیں زندگی بخشی ( ایک طرح سے ) موت طاری کر دینے کے بعد اور اسی کی طرف اٹھ کر جانا ہے ۔
Huzaifah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) sone ke waqt farmate: «Allahumma bismike ahya wa amut» aye Allah mein tere hi naam par jita aur marta hun aur jab bedar hote to farmate «Alhamdulillah alladhi ahyaana ba'da ma amantana wa ilaih al-nashur» shukr hai Allah ka jisne hamen zindagi bakshi ( ek tarah se ) maut tari kar dene ke baad aur usi ki taraf uth kar jana hai.
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, when any of you goes to his bed, he should dust his bedding with the inner extremity of his lower garment, for he does not know what has come on it since he left it. He should then lie down on his right side and say – َْ سَلْتَهْ حَمْهَا وَإِنْ أَرْ فَعُهُ إِنْ أَمْسَكْتَ نَفْسِي فَارَ ب ِي وَ ضَعْتُ جَنْبِي وَ بِكَ أَربِاسْمِكَ ر ُا فَاحْفَظْهَا بِمَا تَحْفَظ َِ ينبِهِ عِبَادَكَ الصَّالِح [In Your Name my Lord I lay down, and in Your Name I arise. If You keep my soul then have mercy on it, and if You send it back, then protect it with that with which You protect Your righteous slaves].

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: جب تم میں سے کوئی اپنے بستر پر سونے کے لیے آئے تو اپنے ازار کے کونے سے اسے جھاڑے کیونکہ اسے نہیں معلوم کہ اس کی جگہ اس کی عدم موجودگی میں کون آ بسا ہے، پھر وہ اپنے داہنے پہلو پر لیٹے، پھر کہے «باسمك ربي وضعت جنبي وبك أرفعه إن أمسكت نفسي فارحمها وإن أرسلتها فاحفظها بما تحفظ به عبادك الصالحين» تیرے نام پر میں اپنا پہلو ڈال کر لیٹتا ہوں اور تیرے ہی نام سے اسے اٹھاتا ہوں، اگر تو میری جان کو روک لے تو تو اس پر رحم فرما اور اگر چھوڑ دے تو اس کی اسی طرح حفاظت فرما جس طرح تو اپنے نیک بندوں کی حفاظت فرماتا ہے ۔
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Jab tum mein se koi apne bistar per sone ke liye aaye to apne izaar ke kone se use jhaare kyunki use nahin maloom ke us ki jagah us ki adamiyagi mein kon aa basa hai, phir woh apne daahne pahloo per late, phir kahe «Bismik Rabbi wadhatu janbi wa bik arfa'hu in amsaktu nafsi farhamha wa in arsaltaha fahafizha bima tuhafizu bihi ibadak al-salehin» Tere naam per mein apna pahloo daal kar letta hoon aur tere hi naam se use uthata hoon, agar tu meri jaan ko rok le to tu is par rahm farma aur agar chhoor de to us ki isi tarah hifazat farma jis tarah tu apne nek bandon ki hifazat farmata hai ۔
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that when the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) went to his bed, he used to say – َِاةِ وَاإلْ ر ِ لَ التَّوَ بَّ كُل ِ شَىْءٍ فَالِقَ الْحَب ِ وَالنَّوَ ى مُنَزِ وَ رْ ضَبَّ األَرَبَّ السَّمَوَاتِ وَ راللَّهُمَّ ر ِِ يلنْج ََ قَبْلَكَ شَىْءٌ وَأِ يَتِهِ أَنْتَ األَوَّلُ فَلَيْسِ ذٌ بِنَاص ٍ أَنْتَ آخ ِ كُل ِ ذِي شَرْ آنِ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَروَالْقُر َُ بَعْدَكَ شَىْءٌ وَأَنْتَ الظَّاهِرِ رُ فَلَيْسنْتَ اآلخ ٌَ دُونَكَ شَىْءْ قَكَ شَىْءٌ وَأَنْتَ الْبَاطِنُ فَلَيْسَ فَوفَلَيْس [O Allah, Lord of the heavens, Lord of the earth and Lord of all things, Splitter of the seed and the date stone, Revealer of the Tawrah, the Injil and the Qur'an, I seek refuge in You from the evil of all things that You seize by the forelock (have full control over them). O Allah, you are the First and there is nothing before You; You are the Last and there is nothing after You. You are the Manifest and there is nothing above You; You are the Hidden and there is nothing beyond You]. Wahb added in his version, pay the debt for me and grant me riches instead of poverty.

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم ﷺ جب اپنے بستر پر سونے کے لیے جاتے تو فرماتے: «اللهم رب السموات ورب الأرض ورب كل شىء فالق الحب والنوى منزل التوراة والإنجيل والقرآن أعوذ بك من شر كل ذي شر أنت آخذ بناصيته أنت الأول فليس قبلك شىء وأنت الآخر فليس بعدك شىء وأنت الظاهر فليس فوقك شىء وأنت الباطن فليس دونك شىء اقض عني الدين وأغنني من الفقر» اے اللہ! آسمانوں و زمین کے مالک! اے ہر چیز کے پالنہار! اے دانے اگانے والے! اے بیج سے درخت پیدا کرنے والے! اے توراۃ، انجیل اور قرآن اتارنے والے! میں تیری پناہ چاہتا ہوں، ہر شر والے کے شر سے جس کی پیشانی تیرے قبضے میں ہے، تو سب سے پہلے ہے، تجھ سے پہلے کوئی چیز نہیں، تو سب سے آخر ہے، تیرے بعد کوئی چیز نہیں، تو سب سے ظاہر ( اوپر ) ہے، تجھ سے اوپر کوئی نہیں، تو چھپا ہوا ہے، تجھ سے زیادہ چھپا ہوا کوئی نہیں وہب نے اپنی حدیث میں اتنا اضافہ کیا ہے کہ: تو میرا قرض اتار دے اور تنگ دستی سے نکال کر مجھے مالدار بنا دے۔
Aboo Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se riwayat hai ke Nabi Akram (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) jab apne bistar per sone ke liye jate to farmate: «Allahum Rabb al-samawati wa Rabb al-ardhi wa Rabb kulli shai'in Falliq al-habb wal-nawa Munzil al-Taurah wal-Injil wal-Quran A'oodhu bika min sharri kulli dhi sharrin anta akhidh bi nasihati anta al-awwal fa laysa qablaka shai'un wa anta al-akhir fa laysa ba'daka shai'un wa anta al-zahir fa laysa fawqaka shai'un wa anta al-batin fa laysa dunaka shai'un iqdh' anni al-din wa aghnini min al-faqr» Aey Allah! Aasmanon o zameen ke malik! Aey har cheez ke palanhar! Aey dane agane wale! Aey bij se darakht peda karne wale! Aey Taurah, Injil aur Quran utarne wale! Main teri panah chahta hoon, har shar wale ke shar se jis ki peshani tere qabze mein hai, tu sab se pehle hai, tujh se pehle koi cheez nahin, tu sab se akhir hai, tere ba'd koi cheez nahin, tu sab se zahir ( oopar ) hai, tujh se oopar koi nahin, tu chhupa huwa hai, tujh se zyada chhupa huwa koi nahin Wohb ne apni hadees mein itna izafa kiya hai ke: tu mera qarz utar de aur tang dasti se nikal kar mujhe maldar bana de.
Ali ibn Abu Talib (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) used to say when he lay down - َِّ يَتِهِ اللَّهُمِ ذٌ بِنَاص ِ مَا أَنْتَ آخِ يمِ وَكَلِمَاتِكَ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ شَراللَّهُمَّ إِن ِي أَعُوذُ بِوَجْهِكَ الْكَر ُ أَنْتَ تَكْشِف َُ وَعْدُكَمُ جُنْدُكَ وَالَ يُخْلَفَمَ وَالْمَأْثَمَ اللَّهُمَّ الَ يُهْزالْمَغْر َوَالَ يَنْفَعُ ذَا الْجَد ِ مِنْكَ الْجَدُّ سُبْحَانَكَ وَ بِحَمْدِك [O Allah, I seek refuge in Your Noble Face and Your Perfect Words from the evil of all things that You seize by the forelock (have full control over them). O Allah, You remove debt and sin. O Allah, Your troops will not be defeated, Your promise will not be broken, nor can the richness of a rich man avail him anything before You, glory and praise is to You].

علی رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ اپنی خواب گاہ میں جاتے وقت یہ دعا پڑھتے تھے: «اللهم إني أعوذ بوجهك الكريم وكلماتك التامة من شر ما أنت آخذ بناصيته اللهم أنت تكشف المغرم والمأثم اللهم لا يهزم جندك ولا يخلف وعدك ولا ينفع ذا الجد منك الجد سبحانك وبحمدك» اے اللہ! میں تیری بزرگ ذات اور تیرے مکمل کلموں کے ذریعہ اس شر سے پناہ مانگتا ہوں جو تیرے قبضے میں ہے، اے اللہ تو ہی قرض اتارتا، اور گناہوں کو معاف فرماتا ہے، اے اللہ! تیرے لشکر کو شکست نہیں دی جا سکتی، تیرا وعدہ ٹل نہیں سکتا، مالدار کی مالداری تیرے سامنے کام نہ آئے گی، پاک ہے تیری ذات، میں تیری حمد و ثنا بیان کرتا ہوں ۔
Ali (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) apni khab gaah mein jaate waqt yeh dua padhte the: «Allahumma inni auzu biwajhika al-karim wa kalimataka al-tamama min sharri ma anta akhidhu binaasihi Allahumma anta takshifu al-mughram wa al-ma'tham Allahumma la yahizmu junduka wa la yakhlufu wa'daka wa la yanfa'u dza al-jad minka al-jad Subhanaka wa bihamdika» Ae Allah! Main teri bargizat aur tere mukammal kalmon ke zariye is shar se panah mangta hoon jo tere qabze mein hai, Ae Allah tu hi qarz utarta, aur gunahon ko maaf farmata hai, Ae Allah! Tere lashkar ko shikast nahin di ja sakti, tera wa'da tal nahin sakta, maldar ki maldari tere samne kaam nahin aayegi, pak hai teri zat, main teri hamd o sana bayan karta hoon.
Anas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that when the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) went to his bed, he would say – ِ َّ ِ الَّذِي أَطْعَمَنَا وَ سَقَانَاالْحَمْدُ ّلِل َوَكَفَانَا وَآوَانَا فَكَمْ مِمَّنْ الَ كَافِيَ لَهُ وَالَ مُئْوِي [Praise be to Allah who has fed us, given us drink, satisfied us and given us refuge. Many there are who have none to suffice them or provide them with shelter].

انس رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ جب اپنے بستر پر آتے تو یہ دعا پڑھتے «الحمد لله الذي أطعمنا وسقانا وكفانا وآوانا فكم ممن لا كافي له ولا مئوي» تمام تعریفیں اللہ کے لیے ہیں جس نے ہم کو کھلایا اور پلایا، دشمن کے شر سے بچایا، ہم کو پناہ دی، کتنے بندے تو ایسے ہیں جنہیں نہ کوئی بچانے والا ہے، اور نہ کوئی پناہ دینے والا ہے ۔
Anas R-az-i-all-ah 'an-hu kah-tay hain k-eh rasul-ull-ah s-al-l-a-ll-ah 'al-ay-hi wa sal-lam jab apn-ay bistar par aat-ay to y-eh dua parh-tay «al-hamd-u lill-ah al-ladh-i at'-am-na wa saq-a-na wa kafa-na wa a-wa-na fa kam min man la ka-fi la-hu wa la ma'wi» tam-am ta'rifi-an all-ah k-ay li-ay hain jis nay ham ko khil-a-ya aur pal-a-ya, dushm-an k-ay shar say bach-a-ya, ham ko pan-ah di, k-itn-ay band-ay to ays-ay hain jin-h-ain nah ko-i bach-an-ay wal-a hay, aur nah ko-i pan-ah d-in-ay wal-a hay .
Abul Azhar al-Anmari (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that when the Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) went to his bed at night, he would say – َّْ ِ وَ ضَعْتُ جَنبِسْمِ َّللا َّْ لِي ذَنْبِي وَأَخْسِئْ شَيْطَانِي وَفُكبِي اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرِ هَانِي وَاجْعَلْنِي فِي النَّدِي ِ األَعْلَىر [ In the Name of Allah I lay down on my side. O Allah, forgive me my sins, drive away my Satan, help me fulfill my obligations and join me with the highest assembly].
Imam Abu Dawood said, Abu Hammam al-Ahwazi transmitted it from Thawr. He mentioned Abu Zuhair al-Anmari (instead of Abu al-Azhar).

ابوالازہر انماری رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ رات میں جب اپنی خواب گاہ پر تشریف لے جاتے تو یہ دعا پڑھتے: «بسم الله وضعت جنبي اللهم اغفر لي ذنبي وأخسئ شيطاني وفك رهاني واجعلني في الندي الأعلى» اللہ کے نام پر میں نے اپنے پہلو کو ڈال دیا ( یعنی لیٹ گیا ) اے اللہ میرے گناہ بخش دے، میرے شیطان کو دھتکار دے، مجھے گروی سے آزاد کر دے اور مجھے اونچی مجلس میں کر دے، ( یعنی ملائکہ، انبیاء و صلحاء کی مجلس میں ) ۔
Abulazhar Anmari Razi Allah Anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah SAW raat mein jab apni khwab gah par tashreef le jate to yeh dua parhte: "Bismillah wazat janbi Allahummaghfirli zunubi wa akhsi shaytani wa fuk rihani wajalni fil nadil aala" Allah ke naam par maine apne pahloo ko daal diya (yani lait gaya) Aye Allah mere gunah bakhsh de, mere shaitan ko dhutkar de, mujhe giroi se aazaad kar de aur mujhe oonchi majlis mein kar de, (yani malaika, anbiya wa soliha ki majlis mein).
Farwah bin Nawfal quoted his father as saying that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said to Nawfal (his father), recite (the Surah) َقُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُون [Say, O you disbelievers.] and then go to sleep at its end, for it is a declaration of freedom from polytheism.

نوفل رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم ﷺ نے ان سے کہا: «قل يا أيها الكافرون» پڑھو ( یعنی پوری سورۃ ) اور پھر اسے ختم کر کے سو جاؤ، کیونکہ یہ سورۃ شرک سے براءت ہے ۔
Nofal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) Kehte Hain Ke Nabi Akram (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Ne Un Se Kaha: «Qul Ya Ayyuha Al-Kafirun» Parho ( Yani Puri Surah ) Aur Phir Isay Khatam Kar Ke So Jao, Kyunki Yeh Surah Shirka Se Baraat Hai.
Ummul Momineen Aisha (رضي الله تعالى عنها) narrated that every night when he Prophet ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) went to his bed, he joined his hands and breathed into them, reciting into them –
ْقُل ٌَّ ُ أَحَدهُوَ َّللا [Say, he is Allah, One], and
َِب ِ الْفَلَققُلْ أَعُوذُ بِر [Say, I seek refuge in the Lord of the dawn] and َِب ِ النَّاسقُلْ أَعُوذُ بِر [Say, I seek refuge in the Lord of men]. Then he would wipe as much of his body as he could with his hands, beginning with his head, his face and the front of his body, doing that three times.

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ نبی اکرم ﷺ ہر رات جب اپنے بچھونے پر سونے آتے تو اپنی ہتھیلیوں کو ملاتے پھر ان میں پھونکتے اور ان میں «قل هو الله أحد» «قل أعوذ برب الفلق» اور «قل أعوذ برب الناس» پڑھتے، پھر ان کو جہاں تک وہ پہنچ سکتیں اپنے بدن پر پھیرتے، اپنے سر، چہرے اور جسم کے اگلے حصے سے پھیرنا شروع کرتے، ایسا آپ تین بار کرتے۔
Am al-Momineen Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) kehti hain ke Nabi-e-Akram (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) har raat jab apne bichhonay per sone ate to apni hatheliyon ko milate phir un mein phonkate aur un mein «Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad» «Qul A'oozu Birrabil-Falaq» aur «Qul A'oozu Birrabil-Naas» padhte, phir un ko jahan tak woh pahunch sakti hain apne badan per phirte, apne sar, chehre aur jism ke agle hisse se phirna shuru karte, aisa aap teen bar karte.
Irbad ibn Sariyah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrataed that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) used to recite al-Musabbihat (Sura al-Kafiroon, Al-Ikhlas, Al-Flaq and An-Nas) before going to sleep, and say, they contain a verse which is better than a thousand verses.

عرباض بن ساریہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ سونے سے پہلے «المسبحات» ۱؎ پڑھتے تھے، اور فرماتے تھے: ان میں ایک آیت ایسی ہے جو ہزار آیتوں سے افضل ہے ۔
Arabaz bin Sariyah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke rasoolallahu salallahu alaihi wasallam sone se pehle «al-musbihat» 1

Abdullah ibn Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that when the Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) went to his bed, he would say – َِ َّ ِ الَّذِي كَفَانِي وَآوَانِي وَأَطْعَمَنِي وَ سَقَانِي وَالَّذِي مَنَّ عَلَىَّ فَأَفْضَلَ والْحَمْدُ ّلِل الَّذِي َُبَّ كُل ِ شَىْءٍ وَمَلِيكَهُ وَإِلَهَ كُل ِ شَىْءٍ أَعِ َّ ِ عَلَى كُل ِ حَالٍ اللَّهُمَّ رَلَ الْحَمْدُ ّلِلأَعْطَانِي فَأَجْز ِوذُ بِكَ مِنَ النَّار [Praise be to Allah Who has given me sufficiency, has guarded me, given me food and drink, been most gracious to me, and given to me most lavishly. Praise be to Allah in every circumstance. O Allah! Lord and King of everything, God of everything, I seek refuge in You from Hell].

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ جب اپنی خواب گاہ میں آتے تو کہتے: «الحمد لله الذي كفاني وآواني وأطعمني وسقاني والذي من على فأفضل والذي أعطاني فأجزل الحمد لله على كل حال اللهم رب كل شىء ومليكه وإله كل شىء أعوذ بك من النار» تمام تعریفیں اللہ کے لیے ہیں جس نے مجھے ہر آفت سے بچایا اور ٹھکانا عطا کیا، اور جس نے مجھے کھلایا، اور پلایا اور جس نے مجھ پر احسان کیا اور بڑا احسان کیا، اور جس نے مجھے دیا، اور بہت دیا، اللہ کے لیے ہر حال میں حمد و شکر ہے، اے اللہ! اے ہر چیز کو پالنے والے اور ہر چیز کے مالک! اے ہر چیز کے حقیقی معبود! میں تیری پناہ چاہتا ہوں آگ سے ۔
Abdul-Allah bin Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a hain keh Rasul-Allah salla-llahu alaihi wa sallam jab apni khwab gah mein aate to kehte: «al-hamdu lillahi alladhi kafani wa awani wa at'amani wa saqani walladhi min 'ala fa afdal walladhi a'tani fa ajzal al-hamdu lillahi 'ala kul hal Allahum rab kul shai wa malikuh wa ilaha kul shai a'udhu bika min al-nar» tamam ta'rifen Allah ke liye hain jis ne mujhe har aafat se bachaya aur thakanah ata kiya, aur jis ne mujhe khillaya, aur palaya aur jis ne mujh par ehsaan kiya aur bada ehsaan kiya, aur jis ne mujhe diya, aur bahut diya, Allah ke liye har hal mein hamd o shukar hai, aay Allah! aay har cheez ko palne wala aur har cheez ke malik! aay har cheez ke haqiqi ma'bud! mein teri panah chahta hoon aag se .
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘if anyone lies on his side where he does not remember Allah, deprivation will descend on him on the Day of Resurrection; and if anyone sits in a place where he does not remember Allah, deprivation will descend on him on the Day of Resurrection.

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: جو شخص کسی جگہ لیٹے اور اس میں اللہ کو یاد نہ کرے تو قیامت کے دن اسے حسرت و ندامت ہو گی، اور جو شخص ایسی جگہ بیٹھے جس میں اللہ کو یاد نہ کرے تو قیامت کے دن اسے حسرت و ندامت ہو گی ۔
Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Jo shakhs kisi jagah late aur us mein Allah ko yaad na kare to Qiyamat ke din use hasrat o nidaamat ho gi, aur jo shakhs aisi jagah baithe jis mein Allah ko yaad na kare to Qiyamat ke din use hasrat o nidaamat ho gi.
