The previous Hadith is also narrated from this second chain of narration.
گزشتہ حدیث اس دوسری سند سے بھی مروی ہے۔
guzishta hadees is doosri sanad se bhi marvi hai.
حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ , حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ ، قَالَ: زَعَمَ الْحَسَنُ , أَنَّ عِمْرَانَ بْنَ حُصَيْنٍ حَدَّثَهُ , قَالَ: أَسْرَيْنَا مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيْلَةً، فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ.
Narrated by Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Seventy thousand people from my Ummah will enter Paradise without being called to account." It was said: "Who are they, Messenger of Allah?" He said: "They are those who do not treat with Ruqya (incantations or spells), they do not ask to be cauterized (as a treatment), they do not believe in omens, and they put their trust in their Lord."
حضرت عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا میری امت میں سے ستر ہزار آدمی بلا حساب کتاب جنت میں داخل ہوں گے، یہ وہ لوگ ہیں جو داغ کر علاج نہیں کرتے، تعویذ نہیں لٹکاتے، پرندوں سے فال نہیں لیتے اور اپنے رب پر بھروسہ کرتے ہیں۔
Hazrat Imran bin Husain Raza Allahu Anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya meri ummat mein se sattar hazar aadmi bila hisab kitab jannat mein dakhil honge, ye wo log hain jo daag kar elaj nahi karte, taweez nahi latkate, parindon se faal nahi lete aur apne rab par bharosa karte hain.
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَنْبَأَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ , أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ مِنْ أُمَّتِي سَبْعُونَ أَلْفًا بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ وَلَا عَذَابٍ، لَا يَكْتَوُونَ وَلَا يَسْتَرْقُونَ، وَلَا يَتَطَيَّرُونَ، وَعَلَى رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ" .
It is narrated on the authority of Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever intentionally takes a false oath on something unjustly, then let him prepare his abode in the fire of Hell."
حضرت عمران رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا جو شخص جان بوچھ کر کسی بات پر ناحق جھوٹی قسم کھائے، اسے چاہیے کہ اپنا ٹھکانہ جہنم کی آگ میں بنا لے۔
Hazrat Imran razi Allah anhu se marvi hai ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya jo shakhs jaan boojh kar kisi baat par nahaq jhooti qasam khaye use chahiye ke apna thikana jahannam ki aag mein bana le.
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَنْبَأَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ , عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَنْ حَلَفَ عَلَى يَمِينٍ كَاذِبَةٍ مَصْبُورَةٍ، فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ بِوَجْهِهِ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ" .
It is narrated on the authority of Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whoever hears of the emergence of the Dajjal, let him stay far away from him (He said this three times), for a person will go to him thinking he is a believer, but as he keeps seeing things that cast doubt and confusion alongside the Dajjal, he will end up following him.
حضرت عمران رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا جو شخص خروج دجال کے متعلق سنے، وہ اس سے دور ہی رہے (یہ جملہ تین مرتبہ فرمایا) کیونکہ انسان اس کے پاس جائے گا تو یہ سمجھے گا کہ وہ مسلمان ہے لیکن جوں جوں دجال کے ساتھ شبہ میں ڈالنے والی چیزیں دیکھتاجائے گا، اس کی پیروی کرتا جائے گا۔
Hazrat Imran Razi Allaho Anho se marvi hai keh Nabi sallallaho alaihi wasallam ne irshad farmaya jo shaks khurooj dajjal ke mutalliq sune wo uss se door hi rahe (yeh jumla teen martaba farmaya) kyunkay insan uss ke pass jaye ga to yeh samjhe ga keh wo musalman hai lakin jo jo dajjal ke sath shaba mein dalne wali cheezain dekhta jaye ga uss ki pervi karta jaye ga.
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي دَهْمَاءَ الْعَدَوِيِّ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ سَمِعَ بِالدَّجَّالِ فَلْيَنْأَ مِنْهُ ثَلَاثًا يَقُولُهَا , فَإِنَّ الرَّجُلَ يَأْتِيهِ يَتَّبِعُهُ وَهُوَ يَحْسِبُ أَنَّهُ صَادِقٌ بِمَا يُبْعَثُ بِهِ مِنَ الشُّبُهَاتِ" .
It is narrated on the authority of Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that the family of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) never ate their fill of barley bread with gravy, until the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) departed from this world.
حضرت عمران رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کے اہل بیت کبھی جو کی روٹی سے سالن کے ساتھ سیراب نہیں ہوئے، یہاں تک کہ نبی ﷺ دنیا سے رخصت ہوگئے۔
Hazrat Imran (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke ahl e bait kabhi jau ki roti se salan ke sath serab nahi hue, yahan tak ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) duniya se rukhsat hogaye.
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا رَجُلٌ وَالرَّجُلُ كَانَ يُسَمَّى فِي كِتَابِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ: عَمْرَو بْنَ عُبَيْدٍ , قَالَ: ثَنَا أَبُو رَجَاءٍ الْعُطَارِدِيُّ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، قَالَ: " مَا شَبِعَ آلُ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ خُبْزِ بُرٍّ مَأْدُومٍ حَتَّى مَضَى لِوَجْهِهِ" , قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد الرَّحْمَنِ: وَكَانَ أَبِي رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ قَدْ ضَرَبَ عَلَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ فِي كِتَابِهِ، فَسَأَلْتُهُ عَنْهُ فَحَدَّثَنِي بِهِ، وَكَتَبَ عَلَيْهِ صَحَّ صَحَّ، إِنَّمَا ضَرَبَ أَبِي عَلَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ , لِأَنَّهُ لَمْ يَرْضَ الرَّجُلَ الَّذِي حَدَّثَ عَنْه يَزِيدُ.
Narrated by Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked someone, "Did you fast any days at the end of Sha'ban?" He replied, "No." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "When you finish fasting the month of Ramadan, then fast two days in its place."
حضرت عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے کسی سے پوچھا کیا تم نے شعبان کے اس مہینے کے آخر میں کوئی روزہ رکھا ہے؟ اس نے کہا نہیں، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا جب رمضان کے روزے ختم ہوجائیں تو اس کی جگہ دو دن کے روزے رکھ لینا۔
Hazrat Imran bin Husain razi Allah anhu se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne kisi se poocha kya tum ne Shaban ke is mahine ke akhir mein koi roza rakha hai? Usne kaha nahin, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya jab Ramzan ke roze khatam hojain to us ki jagah do din ke roze rakh lena.
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْجُرَيْرِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ , أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِرَجُلٍ: " هَلْ صُمْتَ مِنْ سِرَارِ هَذَا الشَّهْرِ شَيْئًا؟" فَقَالَ: لَا , فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" فَإِذَا أَفْطَرْتَ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ، فَصُمْ يَوْمَيْنِ مَكَانَهُ" .
It is narrated on the authority of Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked someone, "Did you observe any fast in the last part of this month of Shaban?" He said, "No." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "When the fasts of Ramadan are over, then observe a fast of two days in its place."

حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ التَّيْمِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ , قَالَ سُلَيْمَانُ: وَأَشُكُّ فِي عِمْرَانَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَهُ:" يَا عِمْرَانُ، هَلْ صُمْتَ مِنْ سُرَرِ هَذَا الشَّهْرِ شَيْئًا؟" قَالَ: لَا , قَالَ:" فَإِذَا أَفْطَرْتَ فَصُمْ يَوْمَيْنِ مَكَانَهُ" , وَقَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ: سِرَارِ.
It is narrated on the authority of Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Modesty always brings goodness." Hearing this Hadith from him, Bashir bin Ka'b said: "It is written in the books of wisdom that modesty brings about dignity and tranquility." Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "I am narrating to you the Hadith of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and you are talking about your scriptures. I will not narrate any Hadith to you from now on." People started saying: "O Abu Jid! He is a good man." And they kept on persuading him until he became quiet and started narrating Hadiths.
حضرت عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا حیاء ہمیشہ خیر ہی لاتی ہے، یہ حدیث ان سے سن کر بشیر بن کعب کہنے لگے کہ حکمت کی کتابوں میں لکھا ہے کہ حیاء سے وقاروسکینت پیدا ہوتی ہے، حضرت عمران رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا کہ میں تم سے نبی ﷺ کی حدیث بیان کررہا ہوں اور تم اپنے صحیفوں کی بات کررہے ہو، آئندہ میں تم سے کوئی حدیث بیان نہیں کروں گا، لوگ کہنے لگے اے ابونجید! یہ اچھا آدمی ہے اور انہیں مسلسل مطمئن کرانے لگے، یہاں تک کہ وہ خاموش ہوگئے اور حدیث بیان کرنے لگے۔
Hazrat Imran bin Husain RA se marvi hai ki Nabi SAW ne farmaya haya hamesha khair hi laati hai, ye hadees un se sunkar Bashir bin Kaab kehne lage ki hikmat ki kitaabon mein likha hai ki haya se waqar o sukoon peda hoti hai, Hazrat Imran RA ne farmaya ki mein tum se Nabi SAW ki hadees bayan kar raha hun aur tum apne sahifon ki baat kar rahe ho, aayinda mein tum se koi hadees bayan nahi karunga, log kehne lage aye AbuNajeed! ye achcha aadmi hai aur unhein musalsal mutmain karne lage, yahan tak ki woh khamosh hogaye aur hadees bayan karne lage.
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو نَعَامَةَ الْعَدَوِيُّ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ هِلَالٍ ، عَنْ بُشَيْرِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الْحَيَاءُ خَيْرٌ كُلُّه" , فَقَالَ بُشَيْرٌ: فَقُلْتُ: إِنَّ مِنْهُ ضَعْفًا، وَإِنَّ مِنْهُ عَجْزًا , فَقَالَ: أُحَدِّثُكَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَتَجِيئَنِي بِالْمَعَارِيضِ؟! لَا أُحَدِّثُكَ بِحَدِيثٍ مَا عَرَفْتُكَ , فَقَالُوا: يَا أَبَا نُجَيْدٍ، إِنَّهُ طَيِّبُ الْهَوَى، وَإِنَّهُ وَإِنَّهُ، فَلَمْ يَزَالُوا بِهِ حَتَّى سَكَنَ وَحَدَّثَ.
It is narrated on the authority of Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that the meaning of the words "and the even and the odd" from Surah Al-Fajr has been conveyed from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), that it refers to prayer, as some prayers are in pairs and some are odd.
حضرت عمران رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ سے سورة الفجر کے لفظ " واشفع والوتر " کا معنی منقول ہے کہ اس سے مراد نماز ہے کہ بعض نمازیں جفت ہیں اور بعض طاق۔
Hazrat Imran Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai ke Nabi Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam se Surah Al-Fajr ke lafz "Washfa'u Wal Watr" ka mani manqol hai ke us se murad namaz hai ke baaz namazen juft hain aur baaz taaq.
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا هَمَّامٌ , وَعَفَّانُ , وَعَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ , قَالَا: ثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، قَالَ عَفَّانُ فِي حَدِيثِهِ: قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عِمْرَانُ بْنُ عِصَامٍ الضُّبَعِيُّ، وَقَالَ يَزِيدُ: عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ عِصَامٍ الضُّبَعِيِّ ، عَنْ شَيْخٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَصْرَةِ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: وَالشَّفْعِ وَالْوَتْرِ سورة الفجر آية 3 , فَقَالَ: " هِيَ الصَّلَاةُ: مِنْهَا شَفْعٌ، وَمِنْهَا وَتْرٌ" .
It is narrated on the authority of Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that he asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about praying while sitting. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Praying while standing is the most virtuous. The reward of praying while sitting is half of that of praying while standing, and the reward of praying while lying down is half of that of praying while sitting."
حضرت عمران رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ انہوں نے نبی ﷺ سے بیٹھ کر نماز پڑھنے کے متعلق پوچھا تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کھڑے ہو کر نماز پڑھنا سب سے افضل ہے، بیٹھ کر نماز پڑھنے کا ثواب کھڑے ہو کر نماز پڑھنے سے نصف ہے اور لیٹ کر نماز پڑھنے کا ثواب بیٹھ کر نماز پڑھنے سے نصف ہے۔
Hazrat Imran (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki unhon ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se baith kar namaz parhne ke mutaliq pucha to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya khare ho kar namaz parhna sab se afzal hai, baith kar namaz parhne ka sawab khare ho kar namaz parhne se nisf hai aur lait kar namaz parhne ka sawab baith kar namaz parhne se nisf hai.
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا حُسَيْنٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ , أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ صَلَاةِ الْقَاعِدِ، فَقَالَ: " مَنْ صَلَّى قَائِمًا، فَهُوَ أَفْضَلُ، وَمَنْ صَلَّى قَاعِدًا، فَلَهُ نِصْفُ أَجْرِ الْقَائِمِ، وَمَنْ صَلَّى نَائِمًا فَلَهُ نِصْفُ أَجْرِ الْقَاعِدِ" .
Narrated by Imran (RA) that the Prophet (PBUH) said, "I will not ride on a Persian carpet, I will not wear clothes dyed with saffron or a shirt with silk cuffs." And he (PBUH) said, "Remember! Men's fragrance has a smell but no color, and women's fragrance has a color but no smell."
حضرت عمران رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی علیہما السلام نے فرمایا میں رخ زمین پوش پر سواری نہیں کروں گا، عصفر سے رنگے ہوئے کپڑے یا ریشم کے کف والی قمیص نہیں پہنوں گا اور فرمایا یاد رکھو! مردوں کی خوشبو کی مہک ہوتی ہے، رنگ نہیں ہوتا اور عورتوں کی خوشبو کا رنگ ہوتا ہے، مہک نہیں ہوتی۔
Hazrat Imran Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ke Nabi Alaihis Salam ne farmaya mein rukh zameen posh par sawari nahi karoon ga, asfar se rangey huye kapre ya resham ke kaf wali qameez nahi pehnoon ga aur farmaya yaad rakho! mardon ki khushbu ki mahak hoti hai, rang nahi hota aur auraton ki khushbu ka rang hota hai, mahak nahi hoti.
حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ , أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " لَا أَرْكَبُ الْأُرْجُوَانَ، وَلَا أَلْبَسُ الْمُعَصْفَرَ، وَلَا أَلْبَسُ الْقَمِيصَ الْمُكَفَّفَ بِالْحَرِيرِ" , قَالَ: وَأَوْمَأَ الْحَسَنُ إِلَى جَيْبِ قَمِيصِهِ، وَقَالَ:" أَلَا وَطِيبُ الرِّجَالِ رِيحٌ لَا لَوْنَ لَهُ , أَلَا وَطِيبُ النِّسَاءِ لَوْنٌ لَا رِيحَ لَهُ" .
It is narrated on the authority of Imran (May Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying, 'Modesty is all goodness....' The narrator then narrated the whole Hadith.
حضرت عمران رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ حیاء سراسر خیر ہی ہے۔۔۔۔۔۔۔۔ پھر راوی نے پوری حدیث ذکر کی۔
Hazrat Imran (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai ki haya sarasar khair hi hai..... Phir ravi ne puri hadees zikar ki.
حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نَعَامَةَ الْعَدَوِيُّ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا السَّوَّارِ يَذْكُرُ , عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ , قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " الْحَيَاءُ خَيْرٌ كُلُّهُ" فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ.
It is narrated on the authority of Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever has a right over another person and he gives him respite (time to repay), then the one who has the right will receive the reward of giving charity every day (for the duration of the respite).”
حضرت عمران رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا جس شخص کا کسی دوسرے پر کوئی حق ہو اور وہ اسے مہلت دے دے تو حقدار کو روزانہ صدقہ کرنے کا ثواب ملتا ہے۔
Hazrat Imran (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya jis shakhs ka kisi dusre par koi haq ho aur wo use mohlat de de to haqdar ko rozana sadqa karne ka sawab milta hai.
حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي دَاوُدَ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ كَانَ لَهُ عَلَى رَجُلٍ حَقٌّ، فَمَنْ أَخَّرَهُ، كَانَ لَهُ بِكُلِّ يَوْمٍ صَدَقَةٌ" .
It is narrated on the authority of Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked someone, "Did you fast any days at the end of this month of Sha'ban?" He said, "No." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "When the fasts of Ramadan are over, then fast for two days in its place."
حضرت عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے کسی سے پوچھا کیا تم نے شعبان کے اس مہینے کے آخر میں کوئی روزہ رکھا ہے؟ اس نے کہا نہیں، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا جب رمضان کے روزے ختم ہوجائیں تو اس کی جگہ دو دن کے روزے رکھ لینا۔
Hazrat Imran bin Husain (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki aik martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne kisi se poocha kya tum ne Shaban ke is mahine ke akhir mein koi roza rakha hai? us ne kaha nahin, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya jab Ramazan ke roze khatam hojain to us ki jagah do din ke roze rakh lena.
حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ , أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَهُ أَوْ لِغَيْرِهِ: " هَلْ صُمْتَ مِنْ سُرَرِ شَعْبَانَ شَيْئًا؟" قَالَ: لَا , قَالَ:" فَإِذَا أَفْطَرْتَ فَصُمْ يَوْمَيْنِ"
The previous hadith is also narrated from this second chain of narration.
گزشتہ حدیث اس دوسری سند سے بھی مروی ہے۔
Guzishta hadees is doosri sanad se bhi marvi hai.
حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنِ الْجُرَيْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمِثْلِهِ، غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ لَمْ يَقُلْ:" يَوْمَيْنِ".
It is narrated on the authority of Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that I bear witness that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prohibited (for men) gold, silk, and the wearing of gold rings.
حضرت عمران رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں شہادت دیتا ہوں کہ نبی ﷺ نے حنتم، سونے کی انگوٹھی اور ریشم سے منع فرمایا ہے۔
Hazrat Imran (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki main shahadat deta hun ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne hantam, sone ki anguthi aur resham se mana farmaya hai.
حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ , وَعَفَّانُ , قَالَا: ثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَن أَبِي التَّيَّاحِ , قَالَ عَفَّانُ , حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو التَّيَّاحِ , عَنْ حَفْصٍ اللَّيْثِيِّ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، قَالَ:" نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ الْحَنْتَمِ، وَلُبْسِ الْحَرِيرِ، وَالتَّخَتُّمِ بِالذَّهَبِ" .
It is narrated on the authority of Imran (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that I bear witness that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prohibited (wearing) silk, gold rings, and (accepting gifts from the proceeds of) Hutam.
حضرت عمران رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں شہادت دیتا ہوں کہ نبی ﷺ نے حتنم، سونے کی انگوٹھی اور ریشم سے منع فرمایا ہے۔

حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو التَّيَّاحِ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَجُلًا مِنْ بَنِي لَيْثٍ , يَقُولُ: أَشْهَدُ عَلَى عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ أَنَّهُ حَدَّثَ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " نَهَى عَنِ الْحَنَاتِمِ، وَعَنْ خَاتَمِ الذَّهَبِ، وَعَنْ لُبْسِ الْحَرِيرِ" .
It is narrated on the authority of Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: I looked into Hell and saw that the majority of its inhabitants were women, and I looked into Paradise and saw that the majority of its inhabitants were the poor.
حضرت عمران رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا میں نے جہنم میں جھانک کر دیکھا تو وہاں اکثریت خواتین کی نظر آئی اور جنت میں جھانک کر دیکھا تو اکثریت فقراء کی نظر آئی۔
Hazrat Imran razi Allah anhu se marvi hai ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya maine jahannam mein jhank kar dekha to wahan aksariyat khawatin ki nazar aayi aur jannat mein jhank kar dekha to aksariyat fuqra ki nazar aayi.
حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ ، عن الضَّحَّاكُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ يَسَارٍ , قَالَ: وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَلَاءِ يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ , أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " اطَّلَعْتُ فِي النَّارِ، فَإِذَا أَكْثَرُ أَهْلِهَا النِّسَاءُ، وَاطَّلَعْتُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ، فَإِذَا أَكْثَرُ أَهْلِهَا الْفُقَرَاءُ" .
It is narrated on the authority of Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that he asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about praying while sitting. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Praying while standing is most virtuous. The reward of praying while sitting is half of that of praying while standing, and the reward of praying while lying down is half of that of praying while sitting.”
حضرت عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ انہوں نے نبی ﷺ سے بیٹھ کر نماز پڑھنے کے متعلق پوچھا تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کھڑے ہو کر نماز پڑھنا سب سے افضل ہے، بیٹھ کر نماز پڑھنے کا ثواب کھڑے ہو کر نماز پڑھنے سے نصف ہے اور لیٹ کر نماز پڑھنے کا ثواب بیٹھ کر نماز پڑھنے سے نصف ہے۔
Hazrat Imran bin Husain (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki unhon ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se beth kar namaz padhne ke mutaliq poocha to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya kharay ho kar namaz parhna sab se afzal hai, beth kar namaz padhne ka sawab kharay ho kar namaz padhne se nisf hai aur lait kar namaz padhne ka sawab beth kar namaz padhne se nisf hai.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ، حَدَّثَنَي أَبِي ، حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ , وَعَفَّانُ , قال: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ ، حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ الْمُعَلِّمُ ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بُرَيْدَةَ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عِمْرَانُ بْنُ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ: وَكَانَ رَجُلًا مَبْسُورًا قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ وَالرَّجُلُ قَاعِدٌ، فَقَالَ: " مَنْ صَلَّى قَائِمًا، فَهُوَ أَفْضَلُ، وَمَنْ صَلَّى قَاعِدًا، فَلَهُ نِصْفُ أَجْرِ الْقَائِمِ، وَمَنْ صَلَّى نَائِمًا، فَلَهُ نِصْفُ أَجْرِ الْقَاعِدِ" .
Narrated by Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Seventy thousand of my Ummah will enter Paradise without being called to account. They are those who do not treat with cautery, nor do they wear amulets, nor take omens from birds, and they put their trust in their Lord."
حضرت عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا میری امت میں سے ستر ہزار آدمی بلا حساب کتاب جنت میں داخل ہوں گے، یہ وہ لوگ ہیں جو داغ کر علاج نہیں کرتے، تعویذ نہیں لٹکاتے، پرندوں سے فال نہیں لیتے اور اپنے رب پر بھروسہ کرتے ہیں۔
Hazrat Imran bin Husain (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya meri ummat mein se sattar hazaar aadmi bila hisab kitab jannat mein dakhil honge, ye wo log hain jo dagh kar ilaaj nahi karte, taweez nahi latkate, parindon se faal nahi lete aur apne rab par bharosa karte hain.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَاجِبُ بْنُ عُمَرَ أَبُو خُشَيْنَةَ الثَّقَفِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ , أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ مِنْ أُمَّتِي سَبْعُونَ أَلْفًا بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ" قَالَ: مَنْ هُمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ؟ قَالَ:" هُمْ الَّذِينَ لَا يَسْتَرْقُونَ، وَلَا يَكْتَوُونَ، وَلَا يَتَطَيَّرُونَ، وَعَلَى رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ" .
It is narrated on the authority of Imran (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There is no vow in disobedience to Allah or in anger, and its expiation is the same as the expiation of an oath."
حضرت عمران رضی اللہ عنہ عن ہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا اللہ کی نافرمانی یا غصے میں منت نہیں ہوتی اور اس کا کفارہ وہی ہوتا ہے جو کفارہ قسم کا ہے۔
Hazrat Imran Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai ki Nabi Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne farmaya Allah ki nafarmani ya ghusse mein mannat nahi hoti aur iska kaffara wohi hota hai jo kaffara qasam ka hai.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا نَذْرَ فِي مَعْصِيَةِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَوْ فِي غَضَبٍ، وَكَفَّارَتُهُ كَفَّارَةُ الْيَمِينِ" .
It has been narrated on the authority of Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Women will be the smallest number amongst the dwellers of Paradise.
حضرت عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا اہل جنت میں سب سے کم رہائشی افراد خواتین ہونگی۔
Hazrat Imran bin Husain razi Allah anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya ahl jannat mein sab se kam rehvashi afrad khawateen hongi.
حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو التَّيَّاحِ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ مُطَرِّفَ بْنَ الشِّخِّيرِ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" إِنَّ أَقَلَّ سَاكِنِي أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ النِّسَاءُ" .
It is narrated on the authority of Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “There is no justification for taking the best animals in Zakat, or for avoiding the payment of Zakat (through tricks and excuses), or for injuring animals with spears. And whoever commits robbery is not one of us.”
حضرت عمران رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا زکوٰۃ میں اچھے جانور وصول کرنا، یا زکوٰۃ کی ادائیگی سے (حیلے بہانوں سے) بچنا اور جانوروں کو نیزوں سے زخمی کرنے کی کوئی اصلیت نہیں ہے اور جو شخص لوٹ مار کرتا ہے، وہ ہم میں سے نہیں ہے۔
Hazrat Imran (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya zakat mein achhe janwar wusul karna ya zakat ki adaegi se (hiley bahano se) bachna aur janwaron ko nezon se zakhmi karne ki koi asliyat nahin hai aur jo shakhs loot maar karta hai wo hum mein se nahin hai.
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدٌ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا جَلَبَ , وَلَا جَنَبَ , وَلَا شِغَارَ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ، وَمَنْ انْتَهَبَ نُهْبَةً، فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا" .
It is narrated by Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked someone: "Did you fast any day at the end of this month of Sha'ban?" He said: "No." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When the fasts of Ramadan are over, then observe fast for a day or two."

حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، أَخْبَرَنَا ثَابِتٌ ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ , وَسَعِيدٌ الْجُرَيْرِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ : أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِرَجُلٍ: " هَلْ صُمْتَ مِنْ سُرَرِ شَعْبَانَ شَيْئًا؟" قَالَ: لَا , قَالَ:" فَإِذَا أَفْطَرْتَ رَمَضَانَ، فَصُمْ يَوْمَيْنِ" ، قَالَ الْجُرَيْرِيُّ: صُمْ يَوْمًا.
It is narrated on the authority of Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade us from treating (illnesses) with branding, but we continued to brand (as a treatment) and never succeeded.
حضرت عمران رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ہمیں داغنے کا علاج کرنے سے منع فرمایا ہے، لیکن ہم داغتے رہے اور کبھی کامیاب نہ ہوسکے۔
Hazrat Imran (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne hamen daghne ka ilaaj karne se mana farmaya hai, lekin hum daghte rahe aur kabhi kaamyab na hosake.
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا ثَابِتٌ ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ : أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " نَهَى عَنِ الْكَيِّ، فَاكْتَوَيْنَا، فَلَمْ يُفْلِحْنَ وَلَمْ يُنْجِحْنَ" .
It is narrated by Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to tell us incidents of the Children of Israel at night (and sometimes he would not even get up in the middle) except to offer the obligatory prayer.
حضرت عمران رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ ہمیں رات کے وقت اکثر بنی اسرائیل کے واقعات سناتے رہتے تھے (اور بعض اوقات درمیان میں بھی نہیں اٹھتے تھے) صرف فرض نماز کے لئے اٹھتے تھے۔
Hazrat Imran razi Allah anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) hamen raat ke waqt aksar Bani Israel ke waqiat sunate rahte the (aur baaz auqat darmiyan mein bhi nahin uthte the) sirf farz namaz ke liye uthte the.
حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى , وَعَفَّانُ , قَالَا: أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو هِلَالٍ ، قَالَ عَفَّانُ: أَخْبَرَنَا قَتَادَةُ، وَقَالَ حَسَنٌ: عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَن أَبِي حَسَّانَ الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، قَالَ:" كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُحَدِّثُنَا عَامَّةَ لَيْلِهِ عَنْ بَنِى إِسْرَائِيلَ لَا يَقُومُ إِلَّا لِعُظْمِ صَلَاةٍ" , يعني المكتوبةَ الفريضةَ , قال عفان: عامةً يُحدِّثُنا لَيلَه عن بني إسرائيل لا يقوم إلا لعُظْم صلاةٍ.
It is narrated on the authority of Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was on a journey. They stopped at a place at night, and at the time of Fajr prayer, everyone kept sleeping and woke up when the sun had risen. When the sun had risen considerably, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered a man, and he gave the call to prayer (Adhan). The people then offered two rak'ahs of Sunnah prayer and then performed the obligatory prayer.
حضرت عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ کسی سفر میں تھے، رات کے وقت ایک مقام پر پڑاؤ کیا، تو فجر کی نماز کے وقت سب لوگ سوتے ہی رہ گئے اور اس وقت بیدار ہوئے جب سورج طلوع ہوچکا تھا، جب سورج خوب بلند ہوگیا تو نبی ﷺ نے ایک آدمی کو حکم دیا، اس نے اذان دی اور لوگوں نے دو سنتیں پڑھیں، پھر انہوں نے فرض نماز ادا کی۔
Hazrat Imran bin Husain (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki aik martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) kisi safar mein thay, raat ke waqt ek maqam par padav kiya, to fajar ki namaz ke waqt sab log sote hi reh gaye aur us waqt bedar huye jab suraj talu ho chuka tha, jab suraj khoob buland hogaya to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne aik aadmi ko hukum diya, usne azaan di aur logon ne do sunnatain parhin, phir unhon ne farz namaz ada ki.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ : أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " كَانَ فِي سَفَرٍ فَنَامَ عَنِ الصُّبْحِ حَتَّى طَلَعَتْ الشَّمْسُ، فَاسْتَيْقَظَ فَأَمَرَ، فَأُذِّنَ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ، ثُمَّ انْتَظَرَ حَتَّى اسْتَقَلَّتْ، ثُمَّ أَمَرَ فَقَامَ فَصَلَّى" .
It is narrated on the authority of Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that once, Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) came to the service of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said, "O Muhammad, Abdul Muttalib was better for his people than you are. He used to feed people with meat and fat, and you are slaughtering them." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave him a befitting reply. He said, "What do you command me to recite?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Say: 'O Allah, save me from the evil of my soul and grant me steadfastness upon the most excellent of deeds.'" That person went away and, after accepting Islam, came back and said, "Before, when I came to you, you commanded me to say, 'O Allah, save me from the evil of my soul and grant me steadfastness upon the most excellent of deeds.' Now what should I say?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Now you should say: 'O Allah, forgive me my sins, those that are hidden and those that are open, those that I have done in error and those that I have done deliberately, those that I know and those that I do not know.'"
حضرت عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ حصین نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا اور عرض کیا اے محمد ﷺ آپ سے بہتر اپنی قوم کے لئے تو عبدالمطلب تھے، وہ لوگوں کو جگر اور کوہان کھلایا کرتے تھے اور آپ ان ہی کو ذبح کردیتے ہیں، نبی ﷺ نے اسے مناسب جواب دیا، اس نے کہا کہ آپ مجھے کیا پڑھنے کا حکم دیتے ہیں؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا یوں کہا کرو اے اللہ! مجھے میرے نفس کے شر سے بچا اور سب سے زیادہ بھلائی والے کام پر پختگی عطاء فرما۔ وہ شخص چلا گیا اور اسلام قبول کرنے کے بعد دوبارہ آیا اور کہا کہ پہلے میں آپ کے پاس آیا تھا تو آپ نے مجھ سے یہ کہنے کے لئے فرمایا تھا کہ اے اللہ! مجھے میرے نفس کے شر سے بچا اور سب سے زیادہ بھلائی والے کا پر پختگی عطاء فرما، اب میں کیا کہا کروں؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا اب تم یوں کہا کرو کہ اے اللہ! میرے پوشیدہ اور علانیہ، غلطی سے اور جان بوجھ کر، واقف ہو کر یا نادان ہو کر سرزد ہونے والے تمام گناہوں کو معاف فرما۔
Hazrat Imran bin Hassin Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki aik martaba Hassin Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir hua aur arz kiya aye Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) aap se behtar apni qaum ke liye to Abdulmuttalib the, woh logon ko jigar aur kohan khilaya karte the aur aap un hi ko zibah karte hain, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne isse munasib jawab diya, usne kaha ki aap mujhe kya padhne ka hukum dete hain? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya yun kaha karo aye Allah! Mujhe mere nafs ke shar se bacha aur sab se ziada bhalayi wale kaam par pakki ataa farma. Woh shakhs chala gaya aur Islam qubool karne ke baad dobara aaya aur kaha ki pehle main aap ke pass aaya tha to aap ne mujh se ye kehne ke liye farmaya tha ki aye Allah! Mujhe mere nafs ke shar se bacha aur sab se ziada bhalayi wale ka par pakki ataa farma, ab main kya kaha karoon? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ab tum yun kaha karo ki aye Allah! Mere poshida aur alaniya, ghalti se aur jaan boojh kar, waqif ho kar ya nadaan ho kar sarzad hone wale tamam gunahon ko maaf farma.
حَدَّثَنَا حُسيَنٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ ، عَنْ رِبْعِيِّ بْنِ حِرَاشٍ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ أَوْ غَيْرِهِ: أَنَّ حُصَيْنًا أَوْ حَصِينًا أَتَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , فَقَالَ: يَا مُحَمَّدُ لَعَبْدُ الْمُطَّلِبِ كَانَ خَيْرًا لِقَوْمِهِ مِنْكَ، كَانَ يُطْعِمُهُمْ الْكَبِدَ وَالسَّنَامَ، وَأَنْتَ تَنْحَرُهُمْ! فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ أَنْ يَقُولَ، فَقَالَ لَهُ: مَا تَأْمُرُنِي أَنْ أَقُولَ؟ قَالَ:" قُلْ: اللَّهُمَّ قِنِي شَرَّ نَفْسِي، وَاعْزِمْ لِي عَلَى أَرْشَدِ أَمْرِي" , قَالَ: فَانْطَلَقَ فَأَسْلَمَ الرَّجُلُ، ثُمَّ جَاءَ فَقَالَ: إِنِّي أَتَيْتُكَ، فَقُلْتَ لِي:" قُلْ: اللَّهُمَّ قِنِي شَرَّ نَفْسِي، وَاعْزِمْ لِي عَلَى أَرْشَدِ أَمْرِي" , فَمَا أَقُولُ الْآنَ؟ قَالَ:" قُلْ: اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي مَا أَسْرَرْتُ وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُ، وَمَا أَخْطَأْتُ وَمَا عَمَدْتُ، وَمَا عَلِمْتُ وَمَا جَهِلْتُ" .
It is narrated on the authority of Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The Dajjal will eat and walk about in the marketplaces.
حضرت عمران رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا دجال بازاروں میں کھانا کھاتا اور چلتا پھرتا ہوگا۔
Hazrat Imran Razi Allaho Anho se marvi hai keh Nabi sallallaho alaihi wasallam ne farmaya Dajjal bazaron mein khana khata aur chalta phirta hoga.
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُدْعَانَ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَقَدْ أَكَلَ الطَّعَامَ، وَمَشَى فِي الْأَسْوَاقِ" يَعْنِي الدَّجَّالَ .
It is narrated on the authority of Imran (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that once Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said, “I adjure by Allah the one who has heard anything from the Prophet (PBUH) regarding the inheritance of grandfather, to tell us.” Hearing this, a man stood up and said, “I bear witness that the Prophet (PBUH) gave him one-third.” Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) asked, “Is there anyone else with you (to support your claim)?” He said, “I don’t know.” Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said, “Then you don’t know anything.”
حضرت عمران رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا میں اس شخص کو قسم دیتا ہوں جس نے نبی ﷺ سے دادا کی وارثت کے متعلق کچھ سنا ہو کہ وہ ہمیں بتادے؟ یہ سن کر ایک آدمی کھڑا ہوا اور کہنے لگا کہ میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ نبی ﷺ نے اسے ایک تہائی دیا ہے، حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے پوچھا تمہارے ساتھ کوئی اور بھی ہے؟ اس نے کہا مجھے معلوم نہیں، حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا پھر تجھے کچھ معلوم نہیں۔
Hazrat Imran Radi Allaho Anho Se Marvi Hai Ke Aik Martaba Hazrat Umar Radi Allaho Anho Ne Farmaya Main Iss Shakhs Ko Qasam Deta Hon Jisne Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam Se Dada Ki Warasat Ke Mutalliq Kuch Suna Ho Ke Woh Humein Batade? Yeh Sun Kar Aik Aadmi Khara Howa Aur Kehne Laga Ke Main Gawaahi Deta Hon Ke Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam Ne Use Ek Tihaai Diya Hai, Hazrat Umar Radi Allaho Anho Ne Poocha Tumhare Sath Koi Aur Bhi Hai? Usne Kaha Mujhe Maloom Nahin, Hazrat Umar Radi Allaho Anho Ne Farmaya Phir Tujhe Kuch Maloom Nahin.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ يَعْنِي الشَّافِعِيّ ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ جُدْعَانَ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ : أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ , قَالَ: أَنْشُدُ اللَّهَ رَجُلًا سَمِعَ مِنَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْجَدِّ شَيْئًا , فَقَامَ رَجُلٌ , فَقَالَ:" شَهِدْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَعْطَاهُ الثُّلُثَ" , قَالَ: مَعَ مَنْ؟ قَالَ: لَا أَدْرِي , قَالَ: لَا دَرَيْتَ! .
Mutarrif bin Shikhayr said: I was with Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) in Kufa, and Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) led us in prayer. He would say "Allahu Akbar" every time he went down for prostration and every time he raised his head. When the prayer was over, Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "He led us in prayer like the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to pray."
مطرف بن شخیر کہتے ہیں کہ میں کوفہ میں حضرت عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہ کے ساتھ تھا، تو حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ نے ہمیں نماز پڑھائی، وہ سجدے میں جاتے اور سر اٹھاتے وقت ہر مرتبہ اللہ اکبر کہتے رہے، جب نماز سے فراغت ہوئی تو حضرت عمران رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا انہوں نے ہمیں نبی ﷺ جیسی نماز پڑھائی ہے۔
Mutraf bin Shakhir kehte hain ki mein Kufa mein Hazrat Imran bin Husain (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke sath tha, to Hazrat Ali (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne hamen namaz parhayi, woh sajday mein jate aur sar uthate waqt har martaba Allahu Akbar kehte rahe, jab namaz se faraghat hui to Hazrat Imran (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne farmaya unhon ne hamen Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) jaisi namaz parhayi hai.
حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى , وَسُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ , قَالَا: ثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا غَيْلَانُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ ، قَالَ:" صَلَّيْتُ صَلَاةً خَلْفَ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ أَنَا وَعِمْرَانُ بْنُ حُصَيْنٍ ، فَكَانَ إِذَا سَجَدَ كَبَّرَ، وَإِذَا رَفَعَ كَبَّرَ، وَإِذَا نَهَضَ مِنَ الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ , كَبَّرَ" ، فَلَمَّا قَضَى الصَّلَاةَ، أَخَذَ بِيَدِي عِمْرَانُ، فَقَالَ: لَقَدْ ذَكَّرَنِي هَذَا قَبَلُ صَلَاةَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَوْ قَالَ: لَقَدْ صَلَّى بِنَا هَذَا صَلَاةَ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
It is narrated on the authority of Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) always used to encourage charity in his addresses and forbid begging.
حضرت عمران رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ ہمیشہ اپنے خطاب میں صدقہ کی ترغیب دیتے اور مثلہ کرنے سے منع فرماتے تھے۔
Hazrat Imran (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) hamesha apne khitab mein sadaqah ki targheeb dete aur musaleh karne se mana farmate thy.
حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَنْصُورٌ , وَحُمَيْدٌ , وَيُونُسُ , عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، قَالَ:" كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَخْطُبُنَا فَيَأْمُرُنَا بِالصَّدَقَةِ، وَيَنْهَانَا عَنِ الْمُثْلَةِ" .
It is narrated on the authority of Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that once he passed by a man who was reciting the Quran to the people. When he finished reciting, he began to beg from the people. Seeing this, Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) said "Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un (To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return)" and said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: A person who recites the Quran, it is his duty to ask Allah through the Quran, because soon there will come a time when people will recite the Quran and beg from people through it.
حضرت عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہ کے حوالے سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ وہ کسی آدمی کے پاس سے گزرے جو لوگوں کو قرآن پڑھ کر سنا رہا تھا، تلاوت سے فارغ ہو کر اس نے لوگوں سے مانگنا شروع کردیا، یہ دیکھ کر حضرت عمران رضی اللہ عنہ نے " انا للہ وانا الیہ راجعون " کہا اور فرمایا کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے جو شخص قرآن پڑھے، اسے چاہیے کہ قرآن کے ذریعے اللہ سے سوال کرے، کیونکہ عنقریب ایسے لوگ بھی آئیں گے جو قرآن کو پڑھ کر اس کے ذریعے لوگوں سے سوال کریں گے۔
Hazrat Imran bin Husain Radi Allaho Anho ke hawale se marvi hai keh aik martaba woh kisi aadmi ke pass se guzre jo logon ko Quran parh kar suna raha tha, tilawat se farigh ho kar us ne logon se mangna shuru kar diya, yeh dekh kar Hazrat Imran Radi Allaho Anho ne " Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un " kaha aur farmaya keh maine Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ko yeh farmate huye suna hai jo shakhs Quran parhe, use chahiye keh Quran ke zariye Allah se sawal kare, kyunki anqareeb aise log bhi aayenge jo Quran ko parh kar us ke zariye logon se sawal karenge.
حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ خَيْثَمَةَ ، قَالَ: مَرَّ عِمْرَانُ بْنُ حُصَيْنٍ بِرَجُلٍ يَقُصُّ، فَقَالَ عِمْرَانُ : إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ، سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " اقْرَءُوا الْقُرْآنَ وَسَلُوا اللَّهَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى بِهِ مِنْ قَبْلِ أَنْ يَجِيءَ قَوْمٌ يَسْأَلُونَ النَّاسَ بِهِ" .
It is narrated on the authority of Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Quran was revealed and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) established the Sunnahs, then he said: Follow us, by Allah! If you do not do so, you will be misguided.
حضرت عمران رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ قرآن کریم نازل ہوا اور نبی ﷺ نے سنتیں متعین کی ہیں، پھر فرمایا کہ ہماری اتباع کرو، اللہ کی قسم! اگر تم نے ایسا نہ کیا تو گمراہ ہوجاؤ گے۔
Hazrat Imran (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ke Quran Kareem nazil hua aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne sunnaten mutayyan ki hain, phir farmaya ke hamari ittiba karo, Allah ki qasam! Agar tum ne aisa na kia to gumrah hojao ge.
حَدَّثَنَا مُؤَمَّلٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، قَالَ: " نَزَلَ الْقُرْآنُ وَسَنَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ السُّنَنَ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: اتَّبِعُونَا، فَوَاللَّهِ إِنْ لَمْ تَفْعَلُوا تَضِلُّوا" .
It is narrated on the authority of Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Modesty always brings goodness.” Hearing this Hadith from him, Bashir bin Ka’b said: “It is written in the books of wisdom that modesty brings about dignity and tranquility.” Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “I am narrating to you the Hadith of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and you are talking about your scriptures. From now on, I will not narrate any Hadith to you.” People started saying: “O Abu Jid! He is a good man.” And they kept on persuading him until he became quiet and started narrating Hadiths.
حضرت عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا حیاء ہمیشہ خیر ہی لاتی ہے، یہ حدیث ان سے سن کر بشیر بن کعب کہنے لگے کہ حکمت کی کتابوں میں لکھا ہے کہ حیاء سے وقاروسکینت پیدا ہوتی ہے، حضرت عمران رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا کہ میں تم سے نبی ﷺ کی حدیث بیان کررہا ہوں اور تم اپنے صحیفوں کی بات کررہے ہو، آئندہ میں تم سے کوئی حدیث بیان نہیں کروں گا، لوگ کہنے لگے اے ابونجید! یہ اچھا آدمی ہے اور انہیں مسلسل مطمئن کرانے لگے، یہاں تک کہ وہ خاموش ہوگئے اور حدیث بیان کرنے لگے۔
Hazrat Imran bin Husain RA se marvi hai keh Nabi SAW ne farmaya haya hamesha khair hi laati hai, yeh hadees un se sunkar Bashir bin Kaab kehne lage keh hikmat ki kitaabon mein likha hai keh haya se waqar o suknat peda hoti hai, Hazrat Imran RA ne farmaya keh main tum se Nabi SAW ki hadees bayan kar raha hun aur tum apne sahifon ki baat kar rahe ho, aayinda mein tum se koi hadees bayan nahi karunga, log kehne lage ae AbuNajeed! yeh achha aadmi hai aur unhein musalsal mutmain karane lage, yahan tak ke woh khamosh hogaye aur hadees bayan karne lage.
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ الْعَدَوِيِّ ، قَالَ: دَخَلْنَا عَلَى عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ فِي رَهْطٍ مِنْ بَنِي عَدِيٍّ فِينَا بُشَيْرُ ابْنُ كَعْبٍ، فَحَدَّثَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ حُصَيْنٍ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الْحَيَاءُ خَيْرٌ كُلُّهُ" أَوْ" إِنَّ الْحَيَاءَ خَيْرٌ كُلُّهُ" , فَقَالَ بُشَيْرُ بْنُ كَعْبٍ: إِنَّا لَنَجِدُ فِي بَعْضِ الْكُتُبِ أَوْ قَالَ: الْحِكْمَةِ: أَنَّ مِنْهُ سَكِينَةً وَوَقَارًا لَلَّهِ، وَمِنْهُ ضَعْفًا، فَأَعَادَ عِمْرَانُ الْحَدِيثَ، وَأَعَادَ بُشَيْرٌ مَقَالَتَهُ، حَتَّى ذَكَر ذَاكَ مَرَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلَاثًا، فَغَضِبَ عِمْرَانُ حَتَّى احْمَرَّتْ عَيْنَاهُ، وَقَالَ: أُحَدِّثُكَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَتَعْرِضُ فِيهِ لِحَدِيثِ الْكُتُبِ؟! قَالَ: فَقُلْنَا يَا أَبَا نُجَيْدٍ، إِنَّهُ لَا بَأْسَ بِهِ، وَإِنَّهُ مِنَّا، فَمَا زِلْنَا حَتَّى سَكَنَ.
It is narrated on the authority of Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw a brass bracelet on the arm of a man. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "O man!" He replied that it was due to illness. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "It will only increase your weakness, take it off and throw it away. If you die with it on your hand, you will never succeed."
حضرت عمران رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے ایک آدمی کے بازو میں پیتل (تانبے) کا ایک کڑا دیکھا، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا ارے بھئی! اس نے بتایا کہ یہ بیماری کی وجہ سے ہے، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا اس سے تمہاری کمزوری میں مزید اضافہ ہی ہوگا، اسے اتار کر پھینکو، اگر تم اس حال میں مرگئے کہ یہ تمہارے ہاتھ میں ہو، تو تم کبھی کامیاب نہ ہوگے۔
Hazrat Imran (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki aik martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne aik aadmi ke bazu mein peetal (tambay) ka aik kara dekha, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya are bhai! Uss ne bataya ki yeh bimari ki wajah se hai, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya iss se tumhari kamzori mein mazeed izafa hi hoga, isse utar kar phenko, agar tum iss haal mein mar gaye ki yeh tumhare hath mein ho, to tum kabhi kamyab na hogey.
حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُبَارَكُ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عِمْرَانُ بْنُ حُصَيْنٍ , أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَبْصَرَ عَلَى عَضُدِ رَجُلٍ حَلْقَةً أُرَاهُ قَالَ مِنْ صُفْرٍ , فَقَال:" وَيْحَكَ مَا هَذِهِ؟" قَالَ: مِنَ الْوَاهِنَةِ , قَالَ:" أَمَا إِنَّهَا لَا تَزِيدُكَ إِلَّا وَهْنًا، انْبِذْهَا عَنْكَ، فَإِنَّكَ لَوْ مِتَّ وَهِيَ عَلَيْكَ مَا أَفْلَحْتَ أَبَدًا" .
It is narrated on the authority of Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man, at the time of his death, set free all six of his slaves, having no other possession. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) summoned the slaves and divided them into three groups of two. He then drew lots amongst them, freeing the two whose names were drawn and retaining the remaining four in slavery.
حضرت عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک آدمی نے مرتے وقت اپنے چھ کے چھ غلام آزاد کردئیے، جن کے علاوہ اس کے پاس کوئی مال بھی نہ تھا، نبی ﷺ نے ان غلاموں کو بلایا اور انہیں تین حصوں میں تقسیم کرکے ان کے درمیان قرعہ اندازی کی، پھر جن دو کا نام نکل آیا انہیں آزاد کردیا اور باقی چار کو غلام ہی رہنے دیا۔
Hazrat Imran bin Haseen RA se marvi hai ki aik aadmi ne marte waqt apne chhe ke chhe ghulam aazaad kar diye, jin ke ilawa us ke paas koi maal bhi nah tha, Nabi SAW ne in ghulamon ko bulaya aur inhen teen hisson mein taqseem karke in ke darmiyaan quraa andazi ki, phir jin do ka naam nikal aaya unhen aazaad kar diya aur baqi chaar ko ghulam hi rehne diya.
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ الْخُرَاسَانِيِّ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , وَأَيُّوبَ , وَهِشَامٍ , وَحَبِيبٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَحُمَيْدٍ , وَيُونُسَ , وَقَتَادَةَ , وَسِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَعْتَقَ سِتَّةَ مَمْلُوكِينَ لَهُ عِنْدَ مَوْتِهِ لَيْسَ لَهُ مَالٌ غَيْرَهُمْ، فَأَقْرَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَهُمْ، فَرَدَّ أَرْبَعَةً فِي الرِّقِّ، وَأَعْتَقَ اثْنَيْنِ" .
Ya'la bin Umayyah once passed by Imran bin Husain, may Allah be pleased with him. Imran said, "O Ya'la! I have come to know that you have sold your house for one hundred thousand?" He said, "Yes! I have sold it for one hundred thousand." Imran said, "I heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saying, 'Whoever sells a treasure, Allah sets upon him a fatal thing that destroys him.'"
یعلی بن سہیل ایک مرتبہ حضرت عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس گذرے، حضرت عمران رضی اللہ عنہ نے ان سے فرمایا اے یعلی! مجھے معلوم ہوا ہے کہ تم نے اپنا گھر ایک لاکھ میں فروخت کردیا ہے؟ انہوں نے کہا جی ہاں! ایک لاکھ میں بیچا ہے، انہوں نے فرمایا کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے جو شخص مال کی گرہ بیچ دے، اللہ اس پر کسی مہلک چیز کو مسلط کردیتا ہے، جو اسے تباہ کردیتی ہے۔
Yaali bin Sohail aik martaba Hazrat Imran bin Haseen Radi Allaho Anho ke paas guzre, Hazrat Imran Radi Allaho Anho ne un se farmaya aye Yaali! mujhe maloom hua hai ki tum ne apna ghar aik lakh mein farokht kar diya hai? unhon ne kaha ji haan! aik lakh mein becha hai, unhon ne farmaya ki maine Nabi Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ko ye farmate huye suna hai jo shakhs maal ki girah bech de, Allah us par kisi muhlik cheez ko musallat kar deta hai, jo use tabah kar deti hai.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي الْمَلِيحِ الْهُذَلِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنِي رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْحَيِّ , أَنَّ يَعْلَي بْنَ سُهَيْلٍ مَرَّ بِعِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، فَقَالَ لَهُ: يَا يَعْلَي، أَلَمْ أُنَبَّأْ أَنَّكَ بِعْتَ دَارَكَ بِمِائَةِ أَلْفٍ؟ قَالَ: بَلَى، قَدْ بِعْتُهَا بِمِائَةِ أَلْفٍ , قَالَ: فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " مَنْ بَاعَ عُقْدَةَ مَالٍ، سَلَّطَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ عَلَيْهَا تَالِفًا يُتْلِفُهَا" .
It is narrated on the authority of Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "He who plunders is not one of us."
حضرت عمران رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا جو شخص لوٹ مار کرتا ہے، وہ ہم میں سے نہیں ہے۔
Hazrat Imran (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya jo shakhs loot maar karta hai, woh hum mein se nahi hai.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ , أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَنْ انْتَهَبَ نُهْبَةً فَلَيْسَ مِنَّا" .
It is narrated on the authority of Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade us from treating (burns) with cauterization, but we continued to cauterize and were never successful.
حضرت عمران رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ہمیں داغنے کا علاج کرنے سے منع فرمایا ہے، لیکن ہم داغتے رہے اور کبھی کامیاب نہ ہو سکے۔
Hazrat Imran (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne humain daghne ka ilaj karne se mana farmaya hai, lekin hum daghte rahe aur kabhi kamyab na ho sake.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ , وَعَفَّانُ , قَالَا: ثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو التَّيَّاحِ , قَالَ عَفَّانُ: أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو التَّيَّاحِ , عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ : أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " نَهَى عَنِ الْكَيِّ، فَاكْتَوَيْنَا، فَمَا أَفْلَحْنَ وَلَا أَنْجَحْنَ" , وَقَالَ عَفَّانُ: فَلَمْ يُفْلِحْنَ وَلَمْ يُنْجِحْنَ.
It is narrated on the authority of Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Your brother Najashi has passed away today, so offer the funeral prayer for him." So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood up and we formed rows behind him. I was in the second row. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) led his funeral prayer. We felt as if his funeral was right there in front of us.
حضرت عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا آج تمہارا بھائی نجاشی فوت ہوگیا ہے لہذا اس کی نماز جنازہ پڑھو، چنانچہ نبی ﷺ کھڑے ہوئے اور ہم نے پیچھے صفیں بنالیں، میں دوسری صف میں تھا، پھر نبی ﷺ نے اس کی نماز جنازہ پڑھا دی، ہمیں یوں محسوس ہوتا تھا کہ اس کا جنازہ سامنے ہی پڑا ہوا ہے۔
Hazrat Imran bin Husain RA se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi SAW ne farmaya aaj tumhara bhai Najashi foot hogaya hai lihaza uski namaz janaza parho, chunancha Nabi SAW kharay huye aur humne piche safein bana leen, main dusri saf mein tha, phir Nabi SAW ne uski namaz janaza parha di, humein youn mehsoos hota tha ki uska janaza samne hi para hua hai.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَرْبٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، أَنَّ أَبَا قِلَابَةَ حَدَّثَهُ، أَنَّ أَبَا الْمُهَلَّبِ حَدَّثَهُ، أَنَّ عِمْرَانَ بْنَ حُصَيْنٍ حَدَّثَهُ , أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:" إِنَّ أَخَاكُمْ النَّجَاشِيَّ تُوُفِّيَ فَصَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ" , قَالَ: فَصَفَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَصَفَفْنَا خَلْفَهُ، فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ وَمَا نَحْسِبُ الْجِنَازَةَ إِلَّا مَوْضُوعَةً بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ .
It is narrated on the authority of Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked someone, "Did you observe any fast in the last part of this month of Sha'ban?" He said, "No." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "When the fasts of Ramadan are over, then observe fasts for two days."
حضرت عمران رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے کسی سے پوچھا کیا تم نے شعبان کے اس مہینے کے آخر میں کوئی روزہ رکھا ہے؟ اس نے کہا نہیں، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا جب رمضان کے روزے ختم ہوجائیں تو دو دن کے روزے رکھ لینا۔

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَهْدِيٌّ ، حَدَّثَنَا غَيْلَانُ ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ : أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَأَلَهُ أَوْ سَأَلَ رَجُلًا وَهُوَ شَاهِدٌ: " هَلْ صُمْتَ مِنْ سُرَرِ هَذَا الشَّهْرِ شَيْئًا؟" قَالَ: لَا , قَالَ:" فَإِذَا أَفْطَرْتَ فَصُمْ يَوْمَيْنِ" .
It is narrated on the authority of Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave the punishment of stoning to death.
حضرت عمران رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے رجم کی سزا جاری فرمائی ہے۔
Hazrat Imran Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai ke Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne Rajm ki saza jari farmae hai.
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدْ رَجَمَ" .
It is narrated on the authority of Hadrat Umar Farooq (R.A.) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) implemented the punishment of stoning to death.
حضرت عمران رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے رجم کی سزا جاری فرمائی ہے۔
Hazrat Imran (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Rajm ki saza jari farmaai hai.
حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ حُمَيْدَ بْنَ هِلَالٍ يحدث، عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الْحَيَاءُ خَيْرٌ كُلُّهُ" .
It is narrated on the authority of Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man, at the time of his death, set free all six of his slaves, having no other wealth besides them. His heirs came and informed the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Had we known this before, we would not have offered his funeral prayer.” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) then summoned those slaves and divided them into three groups and cast lots among them. He then freed the two on whom the lot fell and kept the remaining four as slaves.
حضرت عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک آدمی نے مرتے وقت اپنے چھ کے چھ غلام آزاد کردئیے، جن کے علاوہ اس کے پاس کوئی مال بھی نہ تھا، اس کے ورثاء نے آ کر نبی ﷺ کو بتایا، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا اگر ہمیں پہلے پتہ چل جاتا تو اس کی نماز جنازہ نہ پڑھتے، نبی ﷺ نے ان غلاموں کو بلایا اور انہیں تین حصوں میں تقسیم کر کے ان کے درمیان قرعہ اندازی کی، پھر جن دو کا نام نکل آیا انہیں آزاد کردیا اور باقی چار کو غلام ہی رہنے دیا۔
Hazrat Imran bin Husain (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai keh aik aadmi ne marte waqt apne chhe ke chhe gulam azad kar diye, jin ke ilawa uske pass koi maal bhi nah tha, uske waris ne aa kar Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko bataya, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya agar hamen pehle pata chal jata to uski namaz janaza na parhte, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne un gulam ko bulaya aur unhen teen hisson mein taqseem kar ke un ke darmiyan qura andazi ki, phir jin do ka naam nikal aaya unhen azad kar diya aur baqi chaar ko gulam hi rehne diya.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ الْبَصْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ : أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَعْتَقَ عِنْدَ مَوْتِهِ سِتَّةَ رَجْلَةٍ لَهُ، فَجَاءَ وَرَثَتُهُ مِنَ الْأَعْرَابِ فَأَخْبَرُوا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمَا صَنَعَ، قَالَ:" أَوَفَعَلَ ذَلِكَ؟ قَالَ: لَوْ عَلِمْنَا إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ مَا صَلَّيْنَا عَلَيْهِ" قَالَ: فَأَقْرَعَ بَيْنَهُمْ، فَأَعْتَقَ مِنْهُمْ اثْنَيْنِ، وَرَدَّ أَرْبَعَةً فِي الرِّقِّ .
It is narrated on the authority of Imran (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "No disease should be treated with incantations except for the evil eye or the sting of a venomous creature."
حضرت عمران رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا سوائے نظر بد یا کسی زہریلے جانور کے ڈنک کے کسی مرض کا علاج منتر سے نہ کیا جائے۔
Hazrat Imran razi Allah anhu se marvi hai keh Nabi sal Allahu alaihi wasallam ne irshad farmaya siwaye nazar bad ya kisi zehrele janwar ke dank ke kisi marz ka ilaaj mantr se na kiya jaye.
حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ , وَأَبُو نُعَيْمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مِغْوَلٍ , عَنْ حُصَيْنٍ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ , أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " لَا رُقْيَةَ إِلَّا مِنْ عَيْنٍ أَوْ حُمَةٍ" .
