Sahal (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "My Ummah will remain righteous as long as they hasten to break their fast and delay their suhoor."

حضرت سہل رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا میری امت اس وقت تک خیر پر قائم رہے گی جب تک وہ افطاری میں جلدی اور سحری میں تاخیر کرتی رہے گی۔
Hazrat Sahal Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya meri ummat us waqt tak khair par qaim rahe gi jab tak wo iftari mein jaldi aur sehri mein takheer karti rahe gi.
It is narrated on the authority of Sahl bin Saad (may Allah be pleased with him) that we used to pray Friday with the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and after Friday prayer we used to take a midday nap (Qailulah) and eat food.

حضرت سہل بن سعد رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ہم لوگ جمعہ کے دن نبی کریم ﷺ کے ساتھ جمعہ پڑھنے کے بعد قیلولہ کرتے اور کھانا کھاتے تھے۔
Hazrat Sahl bin Saad Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai keh hum log juma ke din Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ke sath juma parhne ke baad qailaula karte aur khana khate thy.
It is narrated by Sahal (may Allah be pleased with him) that there was some dispute between some people of the Ansar. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went to reconcile them. When it was time for prayer, Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) came to Sayyidina Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) and said, "O Abu Bakr! It is time for prayer, but the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is not here. Should I give the call to prayer and the Iqamah, and you lead the prayer?" Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "As you please." So, Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) gave the call to prayer and the Iqamah, and Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) came forward and started leading the prayer.
Meanwhile, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) arrived. The people started clapping, hearing which Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) started stepping back. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gestured to him to stay where he was. However, Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) stepped back, and the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stepped forward and led the prayer.
After the prayer, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "O Abu Bakr! What prevented you from staying in your place?" He replied, "How could Ibn Abi Quhafah dare to stay ahead of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)?"
Then, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked the people, "Why did you clap?" They replied, "So that Abu Bakr could be informed." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Clapping is for women, and saying 'Subhan Allah' is for men."

حضرت سہل رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ کچھ انصاری لوگوں کے درمیان کچھ رنجش ہوگئی تھی جن کے درمیان صلح کرانے کے لئے نبی کریم ﷺ تشریف لے گئے نماز کا وقت آیا تو حضرت بلال سیدنا صدیق اکبر رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس آئے اور عرض کیا اے ابوبکر! نماز کا وقت ہوچکا ہے لیکن نبی کریم ﷺ یہاں موجود نہیں ہیں کیا میں اذان دے کر اقامت کہوں تو آپ آگے بڑھ کر نماز پڑھا دیں گے؟ حضرت صدیق اکبر رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا تمہاری مرضی چنانچہ حضرت بلال رضی اللہ عنہ نے اذان و اقامت کہی اور حضرت صدیق اکبر رضی اللہ عنہ نے آگے بڑھ کر نماز شروع کردی۔ اسی دوران نبی کریم ﷺ تشریف لے آئے لوگ تالیاں بجانے لگے جسے محسوس کر کے حضرت ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ پیچھے ہٹنے لگے نبی کریم ﷺ نے انہیں اشارے سے فرمایا کہ اپنی ہی جگہ رہو لیکن حضرت ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ پیچھے آگئے اور نبی کریم ﷺ نے آگے بڑھ کر نماز پڑھا دی نماز سے فارغ ہو کر نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اے ابوبکر! تمہیں اپنی جگہ ٹھہرنے سے کس چیز نے منع کیا؟ انہوں نے عرض کیا کہ ابن ابی قحافہ کی یہ جرأت کہاں کہ وہ نبی کریم ﷺ سے آگے بڑھے پھر نبی کریم ﷺ نے لوگوں سے فرمایا تم لوگوں نے تالیاں کیوں بجائیں؟ انہوں نے عرض کیا تاکہ ابوبکر کو مطلع کرسکیں نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا تالیاں بجانے کا حکم عورتوں کے لئے ہے اور سبحان اللہ کہنے کا حکم مردوں کے لئے۔
Hazrat Sahal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki kuch Ansaari logon ke darmiyaan kuch ranjish hogayi thi jin ke darmiyaan sulah karane ke liye Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) tashreef le gaye namaz ka waqt aaya to Hazrat Bilal Sayyiduna Siddiq Akbar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke paas aaye aur arz kiya aye Abu Bakr namaz ka waqt ho chuka hai lekin Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) yahan maujood nahin hain kya main azaan de kar iqamat kahun to aap aage badh kar namaz padha denge Hazrat Siddiq Akbar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne farmaya tumhari marzi chunanchi Hazrat Bilal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne azaan o iqamat kahi aur Hazrat Siddiq Akbar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne aage badh kar namaz shuru kardi isi dauraan Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) tashreef le aaye log taaliyaan bajane lage jise mehsoos kar ke Hazrat Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) peeche hatne lage Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unhen ishare se farmaya ki apni hi jagah raho lekin Hazrat Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) peeche aa gaye aur Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne aage badh kar namaz padha di namaz se farigh ho kar Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya aye Abu Bakr tumhen apni jagah thaharne se kis cheez ne mana kiya unhon ne arz kiya ki ibn Abi Quhafa ki yeh jurrat kahan ki woh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se aage badhe phir Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne logon se farmaya tum logon ne taaliyaan kyun bajayin unhon ne arz kiya taki Abu Bakr ko mutla kar saken Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya taaliyaan bajane ka hukum auraton ke liye hai aur Subhan Allah kahne ka hukum mardon ke liye.
It is narrated on the authority of Sahl (may Allah be pleased with him) that during prayer, people were commanded to place their right hand over their left hand.

حضرت سہل رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ دوران نماز لوگوں کو داہنا ہاتھ بائیں ہاتھ پر رکھنے کا حکم دیا جاتا تھا۔
Hazrat Sahl Radi Allaho Anho Se Marvi Hai Ke Doran Namaz Logon Ko Dahina Hath Bayen Hath Par Rakhne Ka Hukam Diya Jata Tha.
It is narrated on the authority of Sahl bin Saad (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I was with the people when a woman came to the court of Prophethood and said, "O Messenger of Allah! I have given myself to you, now whatever is your opinion." (She stood for a long time) Then a man stood up and said, "O Messenger of Allah! (If you do not need her) then get me married to her." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not give him any answer. Even after the woman stood up thrice, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked the man, "Do you have anything to give her as dowry?" He said, "No." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Go and find something and bring it." He said, "I don't have anything." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Go, even if you find an iron ring, bring it." He said, "I haven't even found an iron ring." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked him, "Do you know any part of the Quran?" He said, "Yes! Such and such Surah." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "I have married you to this woman on the basis of these Surahs of the Holy Quran."

حضرت سہل بن سعد رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں لوگوں کے ساتھ تھا کہ ایک عورت بارگاہ نبوت میں حاضر ہوئی اور عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ! میں نے اپنے آپ کو آپ کے لئے ہبہ کردیا ہے اب جو آپ کی رائے ہو (وہ کافی دیر تک کھڑی رہی) پھر ایک آدمی کھڑا ہو کر کہنے لگا یا رسول اللہ! (اگر آپ کو اس کی ضرورت نہ ہو تو) مجھ سے ہی اس کا نکاح کرا دیجئے نبی کریم ﷺ نے اسے کوئی جواب نہ دیا یہاں تک کہ تین مرتبہ وہ عورت کھڑی ہوئی نبی کریم ﷺ نے اس شخص سے پوچھا کہ کیا تمہارے پاس اسے مہر میں دینے کے لئے کچھ ہے؟ اس نے کہا کچھ نہیں نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا جاؤ اور کچھ تلاش کر کے لاؤ اس نے کہا کہ میرے پاس تو کچھ نہیں ہے نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا جاؤ اگرچہ لوہے کی انگوٹھی ہی ملے تو وہی لے آؤ وہ کہنے لگا کہ مجھے تو لوہے کی انگوٹھی بھی نہیں ملی نبی کریم ﷺ نے اس سے پوچھا کہ تمہیں قرآن بھی کچھ آتا ہے؟ اس نے کہا جی ہاں! فلاں فلاں سورت نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا میں نے اس عورت کے ساتھ تمہارا نکاح قرآن کریم کی ان سورتوں کی وجہ سے کردیا۔
Hazrat Sahl bin Saad Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai ki aik martaba mein logon ke sath tha ki aik aurat bargah e nabuat mein hazir hoi aur arz kiya Ya Rasool Allah mein ne apne aap ko aap ke liye hiba kar diya hai ab jo aap ki rai ho woh kaafi dair tak khadi rahi phir aik aadmi khda ho kar kehne laga Ya Rasool Allah agar aap ko iski zaroorat na ho to mujh se hi iska nikah kara dijiye Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne use koi jawab na diya yahan tak ki teen martaba woh aurat khadi hoi Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne is shakhs se poocha ki kya tumhare pass use mehr mein dene ke liye kuch hai usne kaha kuch nahi Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne farmaya jao aur kuch talaash kar ke lao usne kaha ke mere pass to kuch nahi hai Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne farmaya jao agarche lohe ki angoothi hi mile to wohi le aao woh kehne laga ki mujhe to lohe ki angoothi bhi nahi mili Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne us se poocha ki tumhen Quran bhi kuch aata hai usne kaha ji haan falan falan surat Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne farmaya mein ne is aurat ke sath tumhara nikah Quran e Kareem ki in suratoun ki wajah se kar diya.
Hazrat Sahl (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that once Hazrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) went to Aasim bin Adi (may Allah be pleased with him) and asked, "If a man finds his wife with another man and kills the other man, will he also be killed in return, or what should be done in this situation?" Aasim (may Allah be pleased with him) asked this question to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), but the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) did not find the question appropriate. Later, Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) met Aasim and asked, "What happened?" Aasim replied, "What happened was that you did not tell me a good deed. When I asked the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), he also did not find the question appropriate." Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) then said, "By God! I will go to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) myself and ask him this question." When he went to the Prophet's presence, at that time revelation had already come down to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) regarding this matter. Therefore, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) summoned both the husband and wife and made them swear between themselves. Then Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "O Messenger of Allah! If I take her back with me, it will imply that I have wronged her." Therefore, based on the Prophet Muhammad's (peace be upon him) command, he immediately divorced his wife, and this practice became common among those who curse each other.

حضرت سہل رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ حضرت عویمر رضی اللہ عنہ ایک مرتبہ عاصم بن عدی رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس آئے اور کہنے لگے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ سے یہ مسئلہ پوچھئے کہ اگر ایک آدمی اپنی بیوی کے ساتھ کسی اور آدمی کو پائے اور اسے قتل کر دے تو کیا بدلے میں اسے بھی قتل کردیا جائے گا یا اس کے ساتھ کیا سلوک کیا جائے؟ عاصم رضی اللہ عنہ نے نبی کریم ﷺ سے یہ مسئلہ پوچھا تو نبی کریم ﷺ نے اس سوال کو اچھا نہیں سمجھا۔ پھر عویمر رضی اللہ عنہ کی عاصم رضی اللہ عنہ سے ملاقات ہوئی تو عویمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے پوچھا کیا بنا؟ عاصم رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا بننا کیا تھا؟ تم نے مجھے اچھا کام نہیں بتایا میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ سے پوچھا تو نبی کریم ﷺ نے اس سوال کو ہی اچھا نہیں سمجھا عویمر رضی اللہ عنہ کہنے لگے کہ بخدا! میں خود نبی کریم ﷺ کے پاس جاؤں گا اور ان سے یہ سوال پوچھ کر رہوں گا چنانچہ وہ بارگاہ نبوت میں حاضر ہوئے تو اس وقت تک نبی کریم ﷺ پر اس سلسلے میں وحی نازل ہوچکی تھی اس لئے نبی کریم ﷺ نے ان دونوں میاں بیوی کو بلا کر ان کے درمیان لعان کرا دیا پھر عویمر رضی اللہ عنہ کہنے لگے کہ یا رسول اللہ! اگر میں اسے اپنے ساتھ لے گیا تو اس کا مطلب یہ ہوگا کہ میں نے اس پر ظلم کیا ہے چنانچہ انہوں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کے حکم سے پہلے ہی اپنی بیوی کو جدا کردیا (طلاق دے دی) اور یہ چیز لعان کرنے والوں کے درمیان رائج ہوگی۔
Hazrat Sahal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Hazrat Uwaimir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ek martaba Asim bin Adi (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke pas aaye aur kahne lage ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se yeh masla poochhiye ki agar ek aadmi apni biwi ke sath kisi aur aadmi ko paaye aur usse qatl kar de to kya badle mein usse bhi qatl kar diya jayega ya uske sath kya sulook kiya jayega? Asim (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se yeh masla poochha to Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne is sawal ko achha nahin samjha. Phir Uwaimir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ki Asim (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se mulaqat hui to Uwaimir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne poochha kya bana? Asim (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne kaha banna kya tha? Tumne mujhe achha kaam nahin bataya maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se poochha to Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne is sawal ko hi achha nahin samjha Uwaimir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kahne lage ki Khuda! mein khud Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke pas jaunga aur unse yeh sawal poochh kar rahunga chunancha woh bargah nabuwat mein hazir hue to us waqt tak Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) par is silsile mein wahi nazil ho chuki thi isliye Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne in donon miyan biwi ko bula kar unke darmiyan lian kara diya phir Uwaimir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kahne lage ki Ya Rasulullah! agar mein usse apne sath le gaya to iska matlab yeh hoga ki maine us par zulm kiya hai chunancha unhon ne Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke hukm se pehle hi apni biwi ko juda kar diya (talaq de di) aur yeh cheez lian karne walon ke darmiyan raij hogi.
It is narrated on the authority of Sahl (may Allah be pleased with him) that some Ansar had some resentment between them, to reconcile between whom the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went. ..... Then the narrator narrated the whole Hadith and said that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gestured to them to stay where they were but Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) went back and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went ahead and led the prayer.... Then the narrator narrated the whole Hadith.

Phir ravi ne puri hadees zikar ki.
It is narrated on the authority of Sahl (may Allah be pleased with him) that an Ansari companion appeared in the court of the Prophet and said: O Messenger of Allah! If a man finds another man with his wife and kills him, will he be killed in retaliation or what will be done to him?
Upon this, Allah revealed the commandment of Li'an (mutual imprecation), and the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Allah has revealed His command concerning you and your wife, so let both of them perform Li'an before me." And the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) separated them.

حضرت سہل رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک انصاری صحابی بارگاہ نبوت میں حاضر ہوئے اور کہنے لگے کہ یا رسول اللہ! اگر ایک آدمی اپنی بیوی کے ساتھ کسی اور آدمی کو پائے اور اسے قتل کر دے تو کیا بدلے میں اسے بھی قتل کردیا جائے گا یا اس کے ساتھ کیا سلوک کیا جائے؟
اس پر اللہ نے لعان کا حکم نازل کردیا اور نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اللہ نے تمہارے اور تمہاری بیوی کے متعلق اپنا حکم نازل کردیا ہے چنانچہ میرے سامنے ان دونوں نے لعان کیا اور نبی کریم ﷺ نے انہیں جدا کردیا۔

It is narrated on the authority of Sahl (RA) that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) used to deliver sermons while leaning on a trunk. One day, the Holy Prophet (PBUH) said, "The number of people has increased now. If there was something, I would have sat on it." Sahl (RA)'s son Abbas says that my father went and cut wood for a pulpit from a place called Ghaba. Now I do not remember whether my father made it himself or had it made by someone for a fee.

حضرت سہل رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ کہ نبی کریم ﷺ خطبہ دینے کے لئے ایک تنے کے ساتھ ٹیک لگایا کرتے تھے ایک دن نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا لوگوں کی تعداد اب زیادہ ہوگئی ہے اگر کوئی چیز ہوتی تو میں اس پر بیٹھ جایا کرتا حضرت سہل رضی اللہ عنہ کے بیٹھے عباس کہتے ہیں کہ میرے والد صاحب گئے اور غابہ نامی جگہ سے منبر کے لئے لکڑیاں کاٹیں اب مجھے یاد نہیں کہ اسے والد صاحب نے خود بنایا تھا یا کسی سے مزدوری پر بنوایا تھا۔
Hazrat Sahl Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) khutba dene ke liye ek tane ke sath tek lagaya karte the ek din Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya logon ki tadad ab ziada hogayi hai agar koi cheez hoti to main us par baith jaya karta Hazrat Sahl Raziallahu Anhu ke baithe Abbas kahte hain ki mere walid sahab gaye aur Ghaba nami jagah se mimbar ke liye lakdiyan kaatien ab mujhe yaad nahin ki usay walid sahab ne khud banaya tha ya kisi se mehnat par banwaya tha.
It has been narrated by Sahal (may Allah be pleased with him) that I never saw the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) raising his hands while supplicating on the pulpit or anywhere else. Whenever the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) made dua, he used to keep his hands level with his shoulders and point with his finger.

حضرت سہل رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو منبر یا کسی اور جگہ ہاتھ پھیلا کر دعا کرتے ہوئے نہیں دیکھا نبی کریم ﷺ جب بھی دعاء فرماتے تو اپنے ہاتھ کندھوں کے سامنے برابر رکھتے اور انگلی سے اشارہ فرماتے تھے۔

Hazrat Sahal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that once Hazrat Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) went to Aasim bin Adi (رضي الله تعالى عنه) and asked him to inquire from the Holy Prophet (PBUH) about a certain matter. The question was: if a man finds his wife with another man and kills the other man, will he also be killed in return or what should be done in this situation? When Aasim (رضي الله تعالى عنه) asked the Holy Prophet (PBUH) about this matter, the Prophet (PBUH) did not approve of the question. The narrator then mentioned the complete Hadith and said that they had already divorced their wives at the command of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) before this issue became common among people.

حضرت سہل رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ حضرت عویمر رضی اللہ عنہ ایک مرتبہ عاصم بن عدی رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس آئے اور کہنے لگے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ سے یہ مسئلہ پوچھئے کہ اگر ایک آدمی اپنی بیوی کے ساتھ کسی اور آدمی کو پائے اور اسے قتل کر دے تو کیا بدلے میں اسے بھی قتل کردیا جائے گا یا اس کے ساتھ کیا سلوک کیا جائے؟ عاصم رضی اللہ عنہ نے نبی کریم ﷺ سے یہ مسئلہ پوچھا تو نبی کریم ﷺ نے اس سوال کو اچھا نہیں سمجھا۔۔۔۔ پھر راوی نے پوری حدیث ذکر کی اور کہا انہوں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کے حکم سے پہلے ہی اپنی بیوی کو جدا کردیا (طلاق دے دی) اور یہ چیز لعان کرنے والوں کے درمیان رائج ہوگئی۔

Asim Radi Allaho Anho ne Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam se ye masla poocha to Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne is sawal ko achcha nahi samjha.... phir ravi ne puri hadees zikar ki aur kaha unhon ne Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ke hukum se pehle hi apni biwi ko juda kar diya (talaq de di) aur ye cheez liaan karne walon ke darmiyaan raij ho gayi.
It is narrated on the authority of Sahl bin Saad (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah! said, "To go out in the cause of Allah for a morning or an evening is better than the world and all that is in it, and a place in Paradise equal to the thong of one of you is better than the world and all that is in it."

حضرت سہل بن سعد رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ! نے ارشاد فرمایا اللہ کے راستے میں ایک صبح یا ایک شام کے لئے نکلنا دنیا ومافیہا سے بہتر ہے اور جنت میں کسی شخص کے کوڑے کی جگہ دنیا وما فیہا سے بہتر ہے۔
Hazrat Sahal bin Saad (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah ne irshad farmaya Allah ke raste mein ek subah ya ek sham ke liye nikalna duniya wa ma fiha se behtar hai aur Jannat mein kisi shakhs ke kore ki jagah duniya wa ma fiha se behtar hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Sahl (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "My Ummah will continue to be on the path of righteousness as long as they hasten to break their fast and delay their suhoor."

حضرت سہل رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا میری امت اس وقت تک خیر پر قائم رہے گی جب تک وہ افطاری میں جلدی اور سحری میں تاخیر کرتی رہے گی۔
Hazrat Sahl Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya meri ummat us waqt tak khair par qaim rahe gi jab tak wo iftar mein jaldi aur sehri mein takheer karti rahe gi.
It is narrated on the authority of Sahal (may Allah be pleased with him) that I gave water from the well of Bir Bida'ah to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) with my own hands.

حضرت سہل رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے اپنے ہاتھوں سے نبی کریم ﷺ کو بیربضاعہ کا پانی پلایا ہے۔
Hazrat Sahl (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki maine apne hathon se Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko birbaza'a ka pani pilaya hai.
Narrated by Sahl (may Allah be pleased with him) that I was with the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) at the time of the Battle of the Trench. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) took a big shovel and started digging the trench. Suddenly a stone came in front of him, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) started laughing. Someone asked the reason for laughing, he said, "I am laughing at those people who will be brought here chained from the east and will be driven towards Paradise.”

حضرت سہل رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں غزوہ خندق کے موقع پر نبی کریم ﷺ کے ہمراہ تھا نبی کریم ﷺ نے ایک بڑی کدال پکڑی اور خندق کھودنے لگے اچانک ایک پتھر سامنے آیا تو نبی کریم ﷺ ہنسنے لگے کسی نے ہنسنے کی وجہ پوچھی تو فرمایا میں ان لوگوں پر ہنس رہا ہوں جنہیں مشرق کی جانب سے بیڑیوں میں جکڑ کر لایا گیا اور جنت کی طرف ہانک دیا گیا۔
Hazrat Sahl Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai keh mein Ghazwa Khandaq ke moqe per Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ke hamrah tha Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne ek bari kudal pakri aur khandaq khodne lage achanak ek pathar samne aaya to Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam hansne lage kisi ne hansne ki waja poochi to farmaya mein un logon per hans raha hoon jinhen mashriq ki jaanib se beriyon mein jakar kar laya gaya aur jannat ki taraf hank diya gaya.
It was narrated from Sahl bin Sa'd that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "I and the Hour have been sent like these two fingers."

حضرت سہل بن سعد رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا مجھے اور قیامت کو اس طرح بھیجا گیا ہے جیسے یہ انگلی اس انگلی کے قریب ہے۔
Hazrat Sahal bin Saad Radi Allaho Anhu se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne irshad farmaya mujhe aur qayamat ko is tarah bheja gaya hai jaise ye ungli is ungli ke qareeb hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Sahal (may Allah be pleased with him) that there was some dispute between some Ansar (residents of Medina). The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went to reconcile between them. When the time for prayer came, Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) came to Abu Bakr Siddique (may Allah be pleased with him) and said, "O Abu Bakr! The time for prayer has come, but the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is not here. Should I give the call to prayer (Adhan) and then say the Iqamah, so you can lead the prayer?" Abu Bakr Siddique (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "As you wish." So, Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) gave the Adhan and Iqamah, and Abu Bakr Siddique (may Allah be pleased with him) came forward and started leading the prayer.
Meanwhile, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) arrived. The people started clapping their hands. Hearing this, Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) started stepping back. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gestured to him to stay in his place. However, Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) stepped back, and the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came forward and led the prayer.
After the prayer, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked, "O Abu Bakr! What prevented you from staying in your place?" He replied, "How could the son of Abi Quhafa (i.e., himself) dare to lead the prayer while the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was present?" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) then asked the people, "Why did you clap?" They replied, "So that we could inform Abu Bakr." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Clapping is for women, and saying 'Subhan Allah' (Glory be to Allah) is for men."

حضرت سہل رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ کچھ انصاری لوگوں کے درمیان کچھ رنجش ہوگئی تھی جن کے درمیان صلح کرانے کے لئے نبی کریم ﷺ تشریف لے گئے نماز کا وقت آیا تو حضرت بلال سیدنا صدیق اکبر رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس آئے اور عرض کیا اے ابوبکر! نماز کا وقت ہوچکا ہے لیکن نبی کریم ﷺ یہاں موجود نہیں ہیں کیا میں اذان دے کر اقامت کہوں تو آپ آگے بڑھ کر نماز پڑھا دیں گے؟ حضرت صدیق اکبر رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا تمہاری مرضی چنانچہ حضرت بلال رضی اللہ عنہ نے اذان و اقامت کہی اور حضرت صدیق اکبر رضی اللہ عنہ نے آگے بڑھ کر نماز شروع کردی۔ اسی دوران نبی کریم ﷺ تشریف لے آئے لوگ تالیاں بجانے لگے جسے محسوس کر کے حضرت ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ پیچھے ہٹنے لگے نبی کریم ﷺ نے انہیں اشارے سے فرمایا کہ اپنی ہی جگہ رہو لیکن حضرت ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ پیچھے آگئے اور نبی کریم ﷺ نے آگے بڑھ کر نماز پڑھا دی نماز سے فارغ ہو کر نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اے ابوبکر! تمہیں اپنی جگہ ٹھہرنے سے کس چیز نے منع کیا؟ انہوں نے عرض کیا کہ ابن ابی قحافہ کی یہ جرأت کہاں کہ وہ نبی کریم ﷺ سے آگے بڑھے پھر نبی کریم ﷺ نے لوگوں سے فرمایا تم لوگوں نے تالیاں کیوں بجائیں؟ انہوں نے عرض کیا تاکہ ابوبکر کو مطلع کرسکیں نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا تالیاں بجانے کا حکم عورتوں کے لئے ہے اور سبحان اللہ کہنے کا حکم مردوں کے لئے۔
Hazrat Sahal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki kuch Ansari logon ke darmiyaan kuch ranjish hogayi thi jin ke darmiyaan sulah karane ke liye Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) tashreef le gaye namaz ka waqt aaya to Hazrat Bilal Sayyiduna Siddiq Akbar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke paas aaye aur arz kiya aye Abu Bakr namaz ka waqt ho chuka hai lekin Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) yahan maujood nahin hain kya main azan de kar iqamat kahun to aap aage badh kar namaz padha denge Hazrat Siddiq Akbar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne farmaya tumhari marzi chunanchi Hazrat Bilal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne azan o iqamat kahi aur Hazrat Siddiq Akbar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne aage badh kar namaz shuru kardi isi dauran Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) tashreef le aaye log taaliyan bajane lage jise mehsoos kar ke Hazrat Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) peeche hatne lage Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unhen ishare se farmaya ki apni hi jagah raho lekin Hazrat Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) peeche aaye aur Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne aage badh kar namaz padha di namaz se farigh ho kar Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya aye Abu Bakr tumhen apni jagah thaharne se kis cheez ne mana kiya unhon ne arz kiya ki ibn Abi Quhafah ki yeh jurrat kahan ki woh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se aage badhe phir Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne logon se farmaya tum logon ne taaliyan kyun bajayin unhon ne arz kiya taki Abu Bakr ko muttala kar saken Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya taaliyan bajane ka hukum auraton ke liye hai aur Subhan Allah kahne ka hukum mardon ke liye.
It is narrated on the authority of Sahl (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to turn his face so much while turning to the right and left in prayer that the whiteness of his blessed cheeks could be seen.

حضرت سہل رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نماز میں دائیں اور بائیں جانب سلام پھیرتے ہوئے اپناچہرہ اس قدر پھیرتے کہ رخسار مبارک کی سفید نظر آتی تھی۔
Hazrat Sahl (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) namaz mein dayen aur baen janib salam pherte hue apna chehra is qadar pherte ke rukhsar mubarak ki safaid nazar aati thi.
Narrated by Sahl (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: You have the book of Allah among you, which will be learned by all, black, red, and white. Learn it before the time comes when some people will learn it, but it will not go down their throats, and they will make it straight like an arrow, and they will seek its reward in this world instead of keeping it for the Hereafter.

حضرت سہل رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ تم میں اللہ کی کتاب موجود ہے جو سیاہ سرخ اور سفید سب ہی سیکھیں گے تم وہ زمانہ آنے سے پہلے اسے سیکھ لو جبکہ کچھ لوگ اسے سیکھیں گے اور وہ ان کے حلق سے نیچے نہیں اترے گا اور اسے تیر کے طرح سیدھا کریں گے اور اس کا ثواب آخرت پر رکھنے کی بجائے دنیا ہی طلب کریں گے۔
Hazrat Sahl Radi Allaho Anho Se Marvi Hai Ke Nabi Kareem SalAllaho Alaihi Wasallam Ne Farmaya Ke Tum Mein Allah Ki Kitaab Mojood Hai Jo Siyah Surkh Aur Safed Sab Hi Seekhenge Tum Woh Zamana Aane Se Pehle Use Seekh Lo Jabke Kuch Log Use Seekhenge Aur Woh Un Ke Halq Se Neeche Nahi Utrega Aur Use Teer Ke Tarah Seedha Karenge Aur Iska Sawab Aakhirat Par Rakhne Ki Bajaye Duniya Hi Talab Karenge.
Sahal (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "If there was any truth to bad luck, it would be found in horses, women, and houses."

حضرت سہل رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا نحوست اگر کسی چیز میں ہوتی تو گھوڑے عورت اور گھر میں ہوتی۔
Hazrat Sahl (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya nahusat agar kisi cheez mein hoti to ghore aurat aur ghar mein hoti.
It is narrated by Sahl (may Allah be pleased with him) that once a drink was brought to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) drank from it. There was a boy on his right and elderly people on his left. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked the boy, "Do you permit me to give the rest of this to them?" The boy said, "No, by Allah! I will not give preference to anyone over you." So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) placed the vessel in his hand.

حضرت سہل رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں ایک مرتبہ کوئی مشروب لایا گیا نبی کریم ﷺ نے اسے نوش فرمایا آپ کے دائیں جانب ایک لڑکا تھا اور بائیں جانب عمر رسیدہ افراد نبی کریم ﷺ نے اس لڑکے سے پوچھا کیا تم مجھے اس بات کی اجازت دیتے ہو کہ اپنا پس خودرہ انہیں دے دوں؟ اس لڑکے نے " نہیں " کہا اور کہنے لگا اللہ کی قسم! میں آپ کے حصے پر کسی کو ترجیح نہیں دوں گا چنانچہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے وہ برتن اس کے ہاتھ پر پٹک دیا۔

It has been narrated on the authority of Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "To go out in the morning or evening in the cause of Allah is better than the world and all that it contains; and a place in Paradise equal to the space occupied by one's whip is better than the world and all that it contains."

It is narrated by Abu Usaid (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sahl (may Allah be pleased with him) that once, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was passing by us with his companions (may Allah be pleased with them). I also joined them, and we kept walking until we reached an orchard called "Sawt". We sat there, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) took his companions (may Allah be pleased with them) to one side and entered a house where a woman from the tribe of Juhain was brought to him. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) secluded himself with her in the house of Umm Ayman (may Allah be pleased with her). The woman had a riding animal with her. When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) approached her, he said to her, "Give yourself to me (in marriage)." Upon this, (I seek refuge in Allah), she said, "Can a queen give herself to an ordinary man? I seek refuge in Allah from you." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "You have sought refuge in the One from whom refuge is sought." Saying this, he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came out and said, "O Abu Usaid! Give her two garments and take her back to her family." Some narrators have mentioned the woman's name as Aminah.

حضرت ابو اسید رضی اللہ عنہ اور سہل رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ اپنے صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہم کے ساتھ ہمارے پاس سے گذرے میں بھی ہمراہ ہوگیا حتیٰ کہ چلتے چلتے ہم " سوط " نامی ایک باغ میں پہنچے وہاں ہم بیٹھ گئے نبی کریم ﷺ صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہم کو ایک طرف بٹھا کر ایک گھر میں داخل ہوگئے جہاں نبی کریم ﷺ کے پاس قبیلہ جون کی ایک خاتون کو لایا گیا تھا نبی کریم ﷺ نے اس کے ساتھ امیمہ بنت نعمان رضی اللہ عنہ کے گھر میں خلوت کی، اس خاتون کے ساتھ سواری کا جانور بھی تھا نبی کریم ﷺ جب اس خاتون کے پاس پہنچے تو اس سے فرمایا کہ اپنی ذات کو میرے لئے ھبہ کردو اس پر (العیاذباللہ) وہ کہنے لگی کہ کیا ایک ملکہ اپنے آپ کو کسی بازاری آدمی کے حوالے کرسکتی ہے؟ میں تم سے اللہ کی پناہ میں آتی ہوں نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا تم نے ایسی ذات سے پناہ چاہی جس سے پناہ مانگی جاتی ہے یہ کہہ کر آپ ﷺ باہر آگئے اور فرمایا اے ابو اسید! اسے دو جوڑے دے کر اس کے اہل خانہ کے پاس چھوڑ آؤ بعض راویوں نے اس عورت کا نام امینہ بتایا ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Usaid Raziallahu Anhu aur Sahl Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) apne Sahaba Kiram Raziallahu Anhum ke sath hamare pas se guzre mein bhi hamrah hogaya hatta ki chalte chalte hum "Sawt" nami ek bagh mein pahunche wahan hum baith gaye Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Sahaba Kiram Raziallahu Anhum ko ek taraf bitha kar ek ghar mein dakhil hogaye jahan Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke pas qabeela Jon ki ek khatoon ko laya gaya tha Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne uske sath Umm e Momin Banu Nauman Raziallahu Anha ke ghar mein khalwat ki, is khatoon ke sath sawari ka janwar bhi tha Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) jab is khatoon ke pas pahunche to us se farmaya ki apni zaat ko mere liye hibba kardo us par (Al Aiyaz Billah) woh kahne lagi ki kya ek malika apne aap ko kisi bazari aadmi ke hawale karsakti hai? Mein tum se Allah ki panaah mein aati hun Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya tumne aisi zaat se panaah chahi jisse panaah mangi jati hai yeh kah kar aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) bahar agaye aur farmaya aye Abu Usaid! use do jode de kar uske ahl e khana ke pas chhod aao baaz raviyon ne is aurat ka naam Amina bataya hai.
Sahal (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: My Ummah will remain righteous as long as they hasten to break their fast and delay their suhoor.

حضرت سہل رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا میری امت اس وقت تک خیر پر قائم رہے گی جب تک وہ افطاری میں جلدی اور سحری میں تاخیر کرتی رہے گی۔
Hazrat Sahl (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya meri ummat us waqt tak khair par qaim rahe gi jab tak woh iftar mein jaldi aur sehri mein takheer karti rahe gi.
Someone asked Sahl (may Allah be pleased with him), "From what wood was the Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) pulpit made?" He replied, "By Allah! I know best from what wood it was made, who made it, on what day it was made, on what day it was brought and placed in the Prophet's Mosque, and I even saw the day when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) first graced it.
The details of all these things are that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sent a message to a woman "who had a slave who was a carpenter" and told her to tell her carpenter slave to cut some wood for him so that he could sit on it during his sermons. The woman commanded her slave, and he went to the "forest" and cut the wood of a tree and made a pulpit with three steps. The woman sent the pulpit to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had it placed in the same place where you see it today, and on the same day, he ascended it for the first time and said the takbir (Allahu Akbar), then he bowed down and came down backward and prostrated, and the people also prostrated with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) until he finished and said, 'O people! I did this so that you may follow me and learn my way of prayer.'" Someone asked Sahl (may Allah be pleased with him), "Is what is famous among the people regarding that trunk true?" He said, "What happened, happened."

حضرت سہل رضی اللہ عنہ سے کسی نے پوچھا کہ نبی کریم ﷺ کا منبر کس لکڑی کا بنا ہوا تھا؟ انہوں نے فرمایا بخدا! یہ بات سب سے زیادہ مجھے معلوم ہے کہ وہ کس لکڑی سے بنا ہوا تھا؟ کس نے اسے بنایا تھا؟ کس دن بنایا گیا تھا؟ کس دن مسجد نبوی میں لا کر رکھا گیا اور جس دن نبی کریم ﷺ پہلی مرتبہ اس پر رونق افروز ہوئے وہ بھی میں نے دیکھا ہے۔
ان تمام باتوں کی تفصیل یہ ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ایک خاتون کے پاس " جس کا ایک غلام بڑھئی تھا " پیغام بھیجا کر اپنے بڑھئی غلام سے کہو کہ میرے لئے کچھ لکڑیاں ٹھونک دے تاکہ میں دوران تقریر ان پر بیٹھ سکوں اس عورت نے اپنے غلام کو اس کا حکم دیا تو وہ " غابہ " چلا گیا اور ایک درخت کی لکڑیاں کاٹیں اور تین سیڑھیوں پر مشتمل منبر بنادیا اس عورت نے وہ منبر نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں بھیجا نبی کریم ﷺ نے اسے اسی جگہ رکھوا دیا جہاں آج تم اسے دیکھ رہے ہو اور اسی دن پہلی مرتبہ اس پر تشریف فرما ہوئے اور اس پر تکبیر کہی پھر جھک کر الٹے پاؤں نیچے اتر اور سجدہ ریز ہوگئے لوگوں نے بھی نبی کریم ﷺ کے ہمراہ سجدہ کیا حتیٰ کہ اس سے فارغ ہوگئے اور فرمایا لوگو! میں نے یہ اس لئے کیا ہے کہ تم میری اقتداء کرسکو اور میرا طریقہ نماز سیکھ لو ' کسی نے حضرت سہل رضی اللہ عنہ سے پوچھا کہ اس تنے کے متعلق لوگوں میں جو بات مشہور ہے کیا وہ صحیح ہے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا جو واقعہ رونما ہوا تھا وہ تو پیش آیا تھا۔
Hazrat Sahal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se kisi ne poocha keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ka mimbar kis lakri ka bana hua tha? Unhon ne farmaya bakhuda! Yeh baat sab se zyada mujhe maloom hai keh woh kis lakri se bana hua tha? Kis ne isay banaya tha? Kis din banaya gaya tha? Kis din Masjid Nabvi mein la kar rakha gaya aur jis din Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) pehli martaba is par ronak afroz huwe woh bhi maine dekha hai.
In tamam baaton ki tafseel yeh hai keh ek martaba Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ek khatoon ke pass "jis ka ek ghulam barhai tha" pegham bhej kar apne barhai ghulam se kaho keh mere liye kuch lakdiyan thonk de taake main dauran taqreer in par baith sakun is aurat ne apne ghulam ko is ka hukum diya to woh "Ghabah" chala gaya aur ek darakht ki lakdiyan kaatien aur teen seedhiyon par mushtamil mimbar bana diya is aurat ne woh mimbar Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein bheja Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne isay usi jagah rakhwa diya jahan aaj tum isay dekh rahe ho aur usi din pehli martaba is par tashreef farma huwe aur is par takbeer kahi phir jhuk kar ulte paon neeche utar aur sajdah riz hogaye logon ne bhi Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke hamraah sajdah kiya hatta keh is se farigh hogaye aur farmaya lo! mein ne yeh is liye kiya hai keh tum meri iqtida kar sako aur mera tareeqa namaz seekh lo ' kisi ne Hazrat Sahal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se poocha keh is tane ke mutalliq logon mein jo baat mash'hoor hai kya woh sahih hai? Unhon ne farmaya jo waqea ronuma hua tha woh to pesh aaya tha.
It was narrated from Sahl bin Saad (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah! said, "Guarding in the path of Allah for one day is better than the world and all that is in it. Setting out in the path of Allah for a morning or an evening is better than the world and all that is in it. And a place in Paradise equal to the lash of one of you is better than the world and all that is in it."

حضرت سہل بن سعد رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ! نے ارشاد فرمایا اللہ کے راستے میں ایک دن کی پہرہ داری دنیا و ماعلیہا سے بہتر ہے اللہ کے راستے میں ایک صبح یا ایک شام کے لئے نکلنا دنیا ومافیہا سے بہتر ہے اور جنت میں کسی شخص کے کوڑے کی جگہ دنیا ومافیہا سے بہتر ہے۔
Hazrat Sahal bin Saad (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah ne irshad farmaya Allah ke raste mein ek din ki pahredari duniya wa ma alaiha se behtar hai Allah ke raste mein ek subah ya ek sham ke liye nikalna duniya wa ma fiha se behtar hai aur Jannat mein kisi shakhs ke kore ki jagah duniya wa ma fiha se behtar hai
Narrated by Sahal (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying that I will be waiting for you at the Kauthar pond, whoever will come there will drink its water and whoever will drink its water will never be thirsty and some people will also come to me whom I will recognize and they will recognize me but then a barrier will be placed between me and them.
Abu Hazim said that when I heard Nauman bin Abi Ayash narrating this hadith, I asked if you have heard Sahal (may Allah be pleased with him) saying this? I said yes! He said that I bear witness about Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard him narrating this addition that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) will say these are my Ummah, then it will be said that you do not know what deeds they have done after you. I will say, keep away those who changed my religion after me.

حضرت سہل رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ حوض کوثر پر تمہارا انتظار کروں گا جو شخص وہاں آئے گا وہ اس کا پانی بھی پئے گا اور جو اس کا پانی پی لے گا وہ کبھی پیاسا نہ ہوگا اور میرے پاس کچھ ایسے لوگ بھی آئیں گے جنہیں میں پہچانوں گا اور وہ مجھے پہچانیں گے لیکن پھر ان کے اور میرے درمیان رکاوٹ کھڑی کردی جائے گی۔
ابو حازم کہتے ہیں کہ حضرت نعمان بن ابی عیاش نے مجھے یہ حدیث بیان کرتے ہوئے سنا تو کہنے لگے کیا تم نے حضرت سہل رضی اللہ عنہ کو اسی طرح فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے میں نے عرض کیا جی ہاں! انہوں نے کہا کہ میں حضرت ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ کے متعلق گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ میں نے انہیں یہ اضافہ نقل کرتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ فرمائیں گے یہ میرے امتی ہیں تو کہا جائے گا کہ آپ نہیں جانتے انہوں نے آپ کے بعد کیا اعمال سر انجام دیئے تھے؟ میں کہوں گا کہ دور ہوجائیں وہ لوگ جنہوں نے میرے بعد میرے دین کو بدل دیا۔
Hazrat Sahal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai ki howz e kausar par tumhara intezar karunga jo shakhs waha ayega wo iska pani bhi piyega aur jo iska pani pee lega wo kabhi pyasa na hoga aur mere pass kuch aise log bhi ayenge jinhe main pehchanunga aur wo mujhe pehchanenge lekin phir unke aur mere darmiyan rukawat khadi kardi jayegi.
Abu Hazim kehte hain ki Hazrat Nauman bin Abi Ayash ne mujhe ye hadees bayan karte huye suna to kehney lage kya tumne Hazrat Sahal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ko isi tarah farmate huye suna hai maine arz kiya ji haan! Unhone kaha ki main Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke mutalliq gawahi deta hun ki maine unhe ye izafa naqal karte huye suna hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) farmayenge ye mere ummati hain to kaha jayega ki aap nahi jante inhone aapke baad kya amal sar anjam diye the? Main kahunga ki door hojaen wo log jinhone mere baad mere deen ko badal diya.
It is narrated by Sahl (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: My pulpit will be one of the gates of Paradise.

حضرت سہل رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا میرا منبر جنت کے دروازوں میں سے ایک دروازہ ہوگا۔
Hazrat Sahl Radi Allaho Anho Se Marvi Hai Ke Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam Ne Farmaya Mera Mimbar Jannat Ke Darwazon Mein Se Ek Darwaza Hoga.
It is narrated on the authority of Sahl (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man from the tribe of Aslam came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said that he had committed adultery with a woman, whose name he also mentioned. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) summoned the woman and asked her about the man's statement, but she denied it. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) then carried out the prescribed punishment on the man and let the woman go.

حضرت سہل رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ قبیلہ اسلم کا ایک شخص نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا اور کہنے لگا کہ اس نے ایک عورت سے بدکاری کی ہے جس کا نام بھی اس نے بتایا، نبی کریم ﷺ نے اس عورت کو بلا بھیجا اور اس سے اس شخص کی بات کے متعلق پوچھا تو اس نے انکار کردیا نبی کریم ﷺ نے اس آدمی پر حد جاری فرما دی اور عورت کو چھوڑ دیا۔
Hazrat Sahal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki qabeela Aslam ka aik shakhs Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir hua aur kehne laga ki usne aik aurat se badkari ki hai jiska naam bhi usne bataya, Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne us aurat ko bula bheja aur us se us shakhs ki baat ke mutalliq poocha to usne inkar kar diya Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne us aadmi par had jari farma di aur aurat ko chhor diya.
Narrated by Sahl (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The people of Paradise will see the upper mansions of Paradise as you see the stars in the sky. The narrator says: I narrated this hadith to Nauman bin Abi Ayash, so he said: I heard Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) saying this, as you see a shining star in the eastern or western horizon.

حضرت سہل رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اہل جنت بالا خانوں کو جنت میں اس طرح دیکھیں گے جیسے تم آسمان پر ستارے دیکھتے ہو راوی کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے یہ حدیث نعمان بن ابی عیاش سے بیان کی تو انہوں نے کہا کہ میں نے حضرت ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے جیسے تم مشرقی یا مغربی افق میں ایک چمکدار ستارے کو دیکھتے ہو۔
Hazrat Sahl Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne farmaya ehl jannat bala khanon ko jannat mein is tarah dekhenge jaise tum aasman par sitare dekhte ho ravi kehte hain ke maine ye hadees noman bin abi ayash se bayan ki to unhon ne kaha ke maine Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri Radi Allaho Anho ko ye farmate huye suna hai jaise tum mashriqi ya maghribi ufq mein ek chamkdar sitare ko dekhte ho.
It is narrated on the authority of Sahal (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The status of a believer among the believers is like that of the head in the body, and a believer feels the pain of other believers just as the head feels the pain of the body."

حضرت سہل رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا ایک مؤمن کا اہل ایمان میں وہی درجہ ہوتا ہے جو سر کا جسم میں ہوتا ہے اور ایک مومن تمام اہل ایمان کے لئے اسی طرح تڑپتا ہے جیسے سر کی تکلیف کے لئے تڑپتا ہے۔
Hazrat Sahl (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ek momin ka ahl emaan mein wohi darja hota hai jo sar ka jism mein hota hai aur ek momin tamam ahl emaan ke liye usi tarah tarapta hai jaise sar ki takleef ke liye tarapta hai.
Narrated Sahl bin Sa'd (May Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, you will follow the ways of those who came before you, span by span.

حضرت سہل بن سعد رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اس ذات کی قسم جس کے دست قدرت میں میری جان ہے تم لوگ پہلے لوگوں کے طریقوں پر پورا پورا چل کر رہو گے۔
Hazrat Sahl bin Saad Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne farmaya iss zaat ki qasam jiske dast e qudrat mein meri jaan hai tum log pehle logon ke tariqon par poora poora chal kar reh jao ge.
It is narrated on the authority of Sahal (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) once prayed, "O Allah! May I never see, and may You never see, a time in which the learned are not followed, the forbearing are not respected, and those whose hearts are like those of non-Arabs and whose tongues are like those of the Arabs."

حضرت سہل رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ایک مرتبہ دعا کرتے ہوئے فرمایا اے اللہ! میں ایسا دور کبھی نہ پاؤں اور تم بھی نہ پاؤ جس میں اہل علم کی پیروی نہ کی جائے بردبار لوگوں سے شرم نہ کی جائے جن کے دل عجمیوں کی طرح اور زبانیں اہل عرب کی طرح ہوں۔
Hazrat Sahal Radi Allaho Anhu se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne aik martaba dua karte huye farmaya aye Allah mein aisa dor kabhi na paon aur tum bhi na pao jis mein ahl e ilm ki pairvi na ki jaye burdbar logon se sharam na ki jaye jin ke dil ajmiyon ki tarah aur zubanen ahl e arab ki tarah hon.
It is narrated on the authority of Sahl (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: Do not speak ill of Tabyi (a person who embraced Islam after the death of the Prophet) because he had become a Muslim.

حضرت سہل رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ تبع کو برا بھلا مت کہا کرو کیونکہ وہ مسلمان ہوگیا تھا۔
