It is narrated on the authority of Umm-ul-Fazl that she heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) reciting Surah Al-Mursalat in the Maghrib prayer.

حضرت ام الفضل سے مروی ہے کہ انہوں نے نبی ﷺ کو نماز مغرب میں سورة مرسلات کی تلاوت فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے۔
Hazrat Umm ul Fazal se marvi hai ki unhon ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko namaz Maghrib mein Surah Mursalat ki tilawat farmate hue suna hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Ibn Abbas that he expressed not fasting on the day of Arafat in this way that a pomegranate was brought to him which he ate and said, "My mother, Ummul Fazl, told me that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, did not fast on the day of Arafat because she came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, with milk which the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, drank."

حضرت ابن عباس کے حوالے سے مروی ہے کہ انہوں نے میدان عرفہ میں روزہ نہ رکھنے کا اظہار اس طرح کیا کہ ان کے پاس ایک انار لایا گیا جو انہوں نے کھالیا اور فرمایا کہ مجھے (میری والدہ) حضرت ام الفضل نے بتایا ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے عرفہ کے دن روزہ نہیں رکھا تھا کیونکہ وہ نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں دودھ لے کر حاضر ہوئی تھیں جسے نبی ﷺ نے نوش فرمایا لیا تھا۔
Hazrat Ibn Abbas ke hawale se marvi hai ki unhon ne maidan Arafah mein roza na rakhne ka izhar is tarah kiya ki unke pass ek anar laya gaya jo unhon ne kha liya aur farmaya ki mujhe (meri walida) Hazrat Umm ul Fazal ne bataya hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Arafah ke din roza nahi rakha tha kyunki woh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein doodh le kar hazir hui thin jise Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne nosh farmaya liya tha.
It is narrated on the authority of Ummul Fazl that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw Umm Habib, daughter of Abbas, when she was a little older than a breastfeeding child, so the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "If this daughter of Abbas reaches the age of marriage in my lifetime, I will marry her."

حضرت ام الفضل سے مروی ہے کہ کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے ام حبیب بنت عباس کو دیکھا، اس وقت وہ دودھ پیتی بچی سے کچھ بڑی تھی، تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا اگر عباس کی یہ بیٹی میری زندگی میں جوان ہوگئی تو میں اس سے شادی کرلوں گا۔
Hazrat Umm ul Fazal se marvi hai ki aik martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Umm Habib bint Abbas ko dekha, us waqt wo doodh piti bachi se kuch badi thi, to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya agar Abbas ki ye beti meri zindagi mein jawaan hogayi to main is se shadi kar lunga.
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Al-Fadl that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) led us in Maghrib prayer while wrapped in a cloth in his house, and he recited Surah Al-Mursalat in it. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) could not offer any prayer after that until he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed away.

حضرت ام الفضل سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے ہمیں اپنے گھر میں ایک کپڑے میں لپیٹ کر مغرب کی نماز پڑھائی اور اس میں سورت مرسلات کی تلاوت فرمائی نبی ﷺ اس کے بعد کوئی نماز نہ پڑھا سکے حتی کہ آپ ﷺ کا وصال ہوگیا۔
Hazrat Umm ul Fazal se marvi hai keh aik martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne humain apne ghar mein aik kapre mein lapet kar Maghrib ki namaz parhayi aur us mein Surah Mursalat ki tilawat farmayi Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) uske baad koi namaz na parha sake hatta keh Aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ka wisal hogaya.
It is narrated by Umm Al-Fadl that (on the occasion of Hajj-e-Wida) on the day of Arafat, people were doubtful about the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) fasting. Umm Al-Fadl said, "I will go and find out for you right now." She sent some milk to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) drank it.

حضرت ام الفضل سے مروی ہے کہ (حجۃ الوداع کے موقع پر) عرفہ کے دن لوگوں کو نبی ﷺ کے روزے کے متعلق شک تھا حضرت ام الفضل نے فرمایا میں ابھی تمہیں معلوم کر کے بتاتی ہوں چنانچہ انہوں نے نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں دودھ بھجوایا اور نبی ﷺ نے اسے نوش فرما لیا۔
Hazrat Umm ul Fazal se marvi hai keh (Hajjat ul Wida ke mauqe par) Arafah ke din logon ko Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke rozey ke mutaliq shak tha. Hazrat Umm ul Fazal ne farmaya main abhi tumhein maloom kar ke batati hun. Chunancha unhon ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein doodh bhaijwaya aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne usey nosh farma liya.
Umm al-Fadl reported that once the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, was at my house when a villager came and said, "O Messenger of Allah, I had a wife and while she was still my wife, I married another woman. Now my first wife claims that she breastfed my new wife a couple of times." The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "A couple of times does not establish the prohibition of breastfeeding."

حضرت ام الفضل سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ میرے گھر میں تھے کہ ایک دیہاتی آگیا اور کہنے لگا کہ یا رسول اللہ! میری ایک بیوی تھی جس کی موجودگی میں، میں نے ایک اور عورت سے نکاح کرلیا لیکن میری پہلی بیوی کا کہنا ہے کہ اس نے میری اس دوسری نئی بیوی کو ایک دو گھونٹ دودھ پلایا ہے، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا ایک دو گھونٹ سے حرمت رضاعت ثابت نہیں ہوتی۔
Hazrat Umm ul Fazal se marvi hai ke ek martaba Nabi (SAWW) mere ghar mein thay ke ek dehati aa gaya aur kehne laga ke ya Rasulullah! meri ek biwi thi jis ki mojoodgi mein, maine ek aur aurat se nikah kar liya lekin meri pehli biwi ka kehna hai ke usne meri is doosri nayi biwi ko ek do ghoont doodh pilaya hai, Nabi (SAWW) ne farmaya ek do ghoont se hurmat e rija'at sabit nahin hoti.
Umm al-Fadl narrated that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, once visited Abbas when he was sick. Abbas started wishing for death in the presence of the Prophet. The Prophet said, "O Abbas, O uncle of the Messenger of Allah! Do not wish for death, for if you are righteous, then it is better for you that your good deeds increase. And if you are sinful and are being given respite to repent, then this is also better for you. Therefore, do not wish for death."

حضرت ام الفضل سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ ایک مرتبہ حضرت عباس کی عیادت کے لئے تشریف لائے وہ بیمار تھے اور نبی ﷺ کے سامنے موت کی تمنا کرنے لگے، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا اے عباس! اے پیغمبر اللہ کے چچا! موت کی تمنا نہ کریں اس لئے کہ اگر آپ نیکو کار ہیں تو آپ کی نیکیوں میں اضافہ ہونا آپ کے حق میں بہتر ہے اور اگر آپ گنہگار ہیں اور آپ کو توبہ کی مہلت دی جا رہی ہو تو یہ بھی آپ کے حق میں بہتر ہے اس لئے موت کی تمنانہ کیا کریں۔
Hazrat Ummul Fazal se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ek martaba Hazrat Abbas ki aiadat ke liye tashreef laaye woh bimaar thay aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke samne maut ki tamanna karne lage, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya aye Abbas! aye paighambar Allah ke chacha! maut ki tamanna na karen is liye ki agar aap nekukar hain to aap ki nekiyon mein izafa hona aap ke haq mein behtar hai aur agar aap gunahgaar hain aur aap ko tauba ki mohalat di ja rahi ho to yeh bhi aap ke haq mein behtar hai is liye maut ki tamanna na kiya karen.
It is narrated by Umm-e-Fazl that once I saw in a dream that a part of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had come to my house. I was very disturbed by this dream. I went to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and mentioned my dream. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “You have seen a good dream. A child will be born to Fatima and you will also nurse him with the milk that comes through your son Qasim.” So it happened that Imam Hassan was born to Fatima and I nursed him until he started walking and I weaned him. Then I took him to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and made him sit in the lap of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He urinated on the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Seeing this, I lightly hit him between his shoulders, then the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “May Allah have mercy on you, have pity on my son! You hurt my son.” I said, “O Messenger of Allah! Take off this sheet of yours and wear other clothes so that I can wash it.” The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Washing is for the urine of a girl, only sprinkling is done on the urine of a boy.”

حضرت ام الفضل سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نے خواب میں دیکھا کہ گویا نبی ﷺ کا کوئی عضو میرے گھر میں آگیا ہے، مجھے اس خواب سے بڑی پریشانی لاحق ہوئی میں نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئی اور اپنا خواب ذکر کیا، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا تم نے اچھا خواب دیکھا ہے، فاطمہ کے یہاں ایک بچہ پیدا ہوگا اور تم اپنے بیٹے قثم کے ذریعے آنے والے دودھ سے اس کی بھی پرورش کرو گی، چنانچہ ایسا ہی ہوا کہ حضرت فاطمہ کے یہاں امام حسن پیدا ہوئے اور میں نے ہی انہیں دودھ پلایا یہاں تک کہ وہ چلنے پھرنے لگے اور میں نے ان کا دودھ چھڑادیا۔ پھر میں انہیں لے کر نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئی اور انہیں نبی ﷺ کی گود میں بٹھادیا انہوں نے نبی ﷺ پر پیشاب کردیا یہ دیکھ کر میں نے ان کے کندھوں کے درمیان ہلکا سا ہاتھ مارا تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا اللہ تم پر رحم کرے میرے بیٹے پر ترس کھاؤ! تم نے میرے بیٹے کو تکلیف دی میں نے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ! آپ اپنی یہ چادر اتار دیں اور دوسرے کپڑے پہن لیں تاکہ میں اسے دھودوں نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا دھویا تو بچی کا پیشاب جاتا ہے، بچے کے پیشاب پر صرف چھینٹے مار لئے جاتے ہیں۔
Hazrat Ummul Fazal se marvi hai keh ek martaba maine khwab mein dekha keh goya Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ka koi uzv mere ghar mein agaya hai, mujhe is khwab se badi pareshani lahaq hui main Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ki khidmat mein hazir hui aur apna khwab zikar kiya, Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya tumne achha khwab dekha hai, Fatima ke yahan ek bachcha peda hoga aur tum apne bete Qasim ke zariye aane wale doodh se uski bhi parwarish karo gi, chunancha aisa hi hua keh Hazrat Fatima ke yahan Imam Hassan peda hue aur maine hi unhen doodh pilaya yahan tak keh woh chalne phirne lage aur maine unka doodh chhuda diya. Phir main unhen lekar Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ki khidmat mein hazir hui aur unhen Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ki god mein bitha diya unhon ne Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) par peshab kar diya yeh dekh kar maine unke kandhon ke darmiyan halka sa haath mara to Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya Allah tum par reham kare mere bete par taras khao! tumne mere bete ko takleef di maine arz kiya Ya Rasulullah! Aap apni yeh chadar utar dein aur dusre kapde pehen lein taake main ise dho dun Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya dhoya to bachi ka peshab jata hai, bache ke peshab par sirf chheente maar liye jate hain.
Umm al-Fadl narrated that during the Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) final illness, she visited him one day and started crying. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) lifted his head and asked, "Why are you crying?" She replied, "We are afraid for you (of your departure from this world), and we do not know how the people will treat us after you." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "You will be considered weak after me."

حضرت ام الفضل سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کے مرض الوفات میں ایک دن میں بارگاہ نبوت میں حاضر ہوئی اور رونے لگی، نبی ﷺ نے سر اٹھا کر فرمایا کیوں روتی ہو؟ میں نے عرض کیا کہ ہمیں آپ کے متعلق (دنیا سے رخصتی کا اندیشہ ہے، ہمیں معلوم نہیں کہ آپ کے بعد لوگوں کا ہمارے ساتھ کیسا رویہ ہوگا؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا میرے بعد تم لوگ کمزور سمجھے جاؤ گے۔
Hazrat Ummul Fazal se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke marz ul wafat mein ek din mein bargah e nubuwwat mein hazir hui aur rone lagi Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne sar utha kar farmaya kyun roti ho? Maine arz kiya ki hamen aap ke mutalliq (dunya se rukhsati ka andesha hai hamen malum nahi ki aap ke baad logon ka hamare saath kaisa rawayya hoga? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya mere baad tum log kamzor samjhe jaoge.
Umm Al-Fadl narrated that I was breastfeeding Imam Hasan or Hussain when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came and sat on a wet spot. I took him to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and put him in his lap. He urinated on the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Seeing this, I wanted to pick up a water skin to pour water on it, but the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "If you wash it, the boy's urine will go away, just sprinkle water on the boy's urine."

حضرت ام الفضل سے مروی ہے کہ میں امام حسن یا حسین کو دودھ پلارہی تھی کہ نبی ﷺ آ کر گیلی جگہ پر بیٹھ گئے میں انہیں لے کر نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئی اور انہیں نبی ﷺ کی گود میں بٹھادیا انہوں نے نبی ﷺ پر پیشاب کردیا یہ دیکھ کر میں نے ایک مشکیزہ اٹھانا چاہا تاکہ اس پر پانی بہادوں تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا دھویا تو بچی کا پیشاب جاتا ہے، بچے کے پیشاب پر صرف چھینٹے مار لئے جاتے ہیں
Hazrat Ummul Fazal se marvi hai keh mein Imam Hassan ya Hussain ko doodh pila rahi thi keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) a kar gili jaga per beth gaye mein unhen le kar Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir hui aur unhen Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki god mein bitha diya unhon ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) per peshab kar diya yeh dekh kar mein ne ek mashkiza uthana chaha takah is per pani bahao to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya dhoya to bachi ka peshab jata hai, bache ke peshab per sirf chhentay mar liye jate hain.
Umm al-Fadl reported that she saw a dream in which a part of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to her house. She was disturbed by this dream and went to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and mentioned her dream. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "You have seen a good dream. Fatima will give birth to a child and you will nurse him with the milk that comes through your son Qatham." And so it happened that Imam Hasan was born to Fatima and I nursed him until he began to walk and I weaned him. Then I took him to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and placed him in his lap. He urinated on the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Seeing this, I lightly slapped him between his shoulders. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "May Allah have mercy on you! Have mercy on my son! You have hurt my son." I said, "O Messenger of Allah! Take off your shawl and put on other clothes so that I can wash it." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Washing is only for the urine of a girl. The urine of a boy is only sprinkled on."

It is narrated on the authority of Umm al-Fazl that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The sanctity of fosterage is not established with one or two sips/sucks.

حضرت ام الفضل سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا ایک دو گھونٹ سے حرمت رضاعت ثابت نہیں ہوتی۔

It is narrated by Umm Al-Fadl that the last time she heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) reciting in prayer, he recited Surah Al-Mursalat in the Maghrib prayer.

It is narrated by Umme-e-Fazal that on the day of Arafat (during Hajj-e-Akbar) people were doubtful about the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) fasting. She said, "I will let you know." So she sent milk to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and he drank it.

Umm Al-Fadl said, “I will find out for you.” So she sent a glass of milk to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and he drank it.

حضرت ام الفضل سے مروی ہے کہ (حجۃ الوداع کے موقع پر) عرفہ کے دن لوگوں کو نبی ﷺ کے روزے کے متعلق شک تھا حضرت ام الفضل نے فرمایا میں ابھی تمہیں معلوم کر کے بتاتی ہوں چنانچہ انہوں نے نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں دودھ بھجوایا اور نبی ﷺ نے اسے نوش فرمالیا۔
Hazrat Ummul Fazal se marvi hai ki (Hajjatul Wida ke mauke par) Arafah ke din logon ko Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke roze ke mutalliq shak tha. Hazrat Ummul Fazal ne farmaya mein abhi tumhein maloom kar ke batati hun. Chunanche unhon ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein doodh bhujwaya aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne usey nosh farma liya.
Umm-ul-Fazl narrated that she heard Ibn Abbas reciting Surah Mursalat, so she said, "By Allah, dear son, by reciting this Surah you have reminded me that this was the last Surah that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) reciting in the Maghrib prayer.”

حضرت ام الفضل سے مروی ہے کہ انہوں نے حضرت ابن عباس کی سورت مرسلات پڑھتے ہوئے سنا تو فرمایا واللہ پیارے بیٹے تم نے یہ سورت پڑھ کر مجھے یاددلا دیا ہے کہ یہ آخری سورت ہے جو میں نے نبی ﷺ کو نماز مغرب میں تلاوت فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے۔
Hazrat Umm ul Fazal se marvi hai ki unhon ne Hazrat Ibn Abbas ki Surah Mursalat parhte hue suna to farmaya Wallahi pyare bete tum ne yeh surat parh kar mujhe yaad dila diya hai ki yeh aakhri surat hai jo maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko Namaz Maghrib mein tilawat farmate hue suna hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Ibn Abbas that he declared his intention not to fast on the day of Arafat in this way that a pomegranate was brought to him which he ate and said that I have been told by (my mother) Ummul Fazal that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not fast on the day of Arafat because she had come to the presence of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) with milk which the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) drank.

حضرت ابن عباس کے حوالے سے مروی ہے کہ انہوں نے میدان عرفہ میں روزہ نہ رکھنے کا اظہار اس طرح کیا کہ ان کے پاس ایک انار لایا گیا جو انہوں نے کھالیا اور فرمایا کہ مجھے (میری والدہ) حضرت ام الفضل نے بتایا ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے عرفہ کے دن روزہ نہیں رکھا تھا کیونکہ وہ نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں دودھ لے کر حاضر ہوئی تھیں جسے نبی ﷺ نے نوش فرما لیا تھا۔
Hazrat Ibn Abbas ke hawale se marvi hai ke unhon ne maidan Arafah mein roza na rakhne ka izhaar is tarah kiya ke un ke pass ek anar laya gaya jo unhon ne kha liya aur farmaya ke mujhe (meri walida) Hazrat Umm ul Fazal ne bataya hai ke Nabi (SAW) ne Arafah ke din roza nahi rakha tha kyunki woh Nabi (SAW) ki khidmat mein doodh le kar hazir hui thin jise Nabi (SAW) ne nosh farma liya tha.
It is narrated by Umm al-Fazl that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was in my house when a villager came and said, "O Messenger of Allah! Is the prohibition of marriage due to fosterage established by drinking one or two sips of milk?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "The prohibition of marriage due to fosterage is not established by one or two sips."

حضرت ام الفضل سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ میرے گھر میں تھے کہ ایک دیہاتی آگیا اور کہنے لگا کہ یا رسول اللہ! کیا ایک دو گھونٹ دودھ پینے سے حرمت رضاعت ثابت ہوجاتی ہے؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا ایک دو گھونٹ سے حرمت رضاعت ثابت نہیں ہوتی۔
Hazrat Ummul Fazal se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) mere ghar mein the ki ek dehati aa gaya aur kehne laga ki Ya Rasulullah kya ek do ghoont doodh peene se hurmat rizayat sabit ho jati hai? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ek do ghoont se hurmat rizayat sabit nahin hoti.
