Mishkat al-Masabih 2381
‘Abdallah told that when evening came God’s messenger would say, "We have come to the evening, and in the evening the dominion belongs to God; praise be to God; there is no god but God alone who has no partner; to Him belongs the dominion, to Him praise is due, and He is omnipotent. O God, I ask Thee for something of the good of this night and the good of what it contains, and I seek refuge in Thee from its evil and the evil of what it contains. O God, I seek refuge in Thee from indolence, decrepitude, the evil of old age, temptation in this world, and the punishment in the grave." In the morning he said that also:"We have come to the morning, and in the morning the dominion belongs to God ..." A version has, "My Lord, I seek refuge in Thee from a punishment in hell and a punishment in the grave."

عبداللہ ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ جب شام کرتے تو فرماتے :’’ ہم نے شام کی اور اللہ کی تمام بادشاہت نے شام کی ، ہر قسم کی حمد اللہ کے لئے ہے ، اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود برحق نہیں ، وہ یکتا ہے ، اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں ، اس کے لئے بادشاہت ہے اور اسی کے لئے حمد ہے اور وہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے ، اے اللہ ! میں تجھ سے اس رات کی بھلائی مانگتا ہوں اور جو اس میں ہے اس کی بھلائی مانگتا ہوں ، اور اس کے شر سے اور جو اس میں ہے اس کے شر سے تیری پناہ چاہتا ہوں ۔ اے اللہ ! میں کاہلی ، بڑھاپے ، بڑھاپے کی خرابی ، دنیا کے فتنے اور قبر کے عذاب سے تیری پناہ چاہتا ہوں ۔‘‘ اور جب آپ صبح کرتے تو بھی یہی کہتے :’’ ہم نے اور اللہ کی بادشاہت نے صبح کی ۔‘‘ اور ایک دوسری روایت میں ہے :’’ رب جی ! میں تجھ سے آگ کے عذاب اور عذاب قبر سے تیری پناہ چاہتا ہوں ۔‘‘ رواہ مسلم ۔
Abdullah bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah jab sham karte to farmate: ''Hum ne sham ki aur Allah ki tamam badshahat ne sham ki, har qisam ki hamd Allah ke liye hai, Allah ke siwa koi mabood barhaq nahin, wo yakta hai, us ka koi sharik nahin, us ke liye badshahat hai aur usi ke liye hamd hai aur wo har cheez per qadir hai, Aye Allah! main tujh se is raat ki bhalai mangta hun aur jo is mein hai us ki bhalai mangta hun, aur is ke shar se aur jo is mein hai us ke shar se teri panah chahta hun. Aye Allah! main kahli, burhape, burhape ki kharabi, duniya ke fitne aur qabar ke azab se teri panah chahta hun.'' Aur jab aap subah karte to bhi yahi kahte: ''Hum ne aur Allah ki badshahat ne subah ki.'' Aur ek dusri riwayat mein hai: ''Rab ji! main tujh se aag ke azab aur azab qabar se teri panah chahta hun.'' Riwayat Muslim.
Hudhaifa said that when the Prophet lay down on his bed at night he placed his hand under his cheek, and would then say, "O God, in Thy name I die and live." When he awoke he said, "Praise be to God who has given us life after causing us to die,* and to whom we shall be resurrected."
*Behind this phrase probably lies the idea expressed in Qur’an, xxxix, 42 which says, "It is God who takes the souls at the time of their death, and those which do not die during their sleep."

حذیفہ ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، جب رسول اللہ ﷺ رات کے وقت اپنے بستر پر تشریف لاتے تو آپ اپنا ہاتھ اپنے رخسار کے نیچے رکھتے ، پھر یہ دعا پڑھتے :’’ اے اللہ ! میں تیرے ہی نام سے مرتا اور زندہ ہوتا ہوں ۔‘‘ اور جب آپ بیدار ہوتے تو یہ دعا پڑھتے :’’ ہر قسم کی تعریف اللہ کے لئے ہے جس نے ہمیں مارنے کے بعد زندہ کیا اور اسی کی طرف لوٹ کر جانا ہے ۔‘‘ رواہ البخاری ۔
Huzaifa bayan karte hain, jab Rasool Allah raat ke waqt apne bistar par tashreef laate to aap apna haath apne rukhsar ke neeche rakhte, phir ye dua parhte: “Aye Allah! Main tere hi naam se marta aur zinda hota hun.” Aur jab aap bedar hote to ye dua parhte: “Har qisam ki tareef Allah ke liye hai jisne hamen marne ke baad zinda kiya aur usi ki taraf laut kar jana hai.” Riwayat Bukhari.
And Muslim narrated this hadith from Bara' bin 'Azib. - Sahih Muslim.

اور مسلم نے براء بن عازب ؓ سے یہ حدیث بیان کی ہے ۔ رواہ مسلم ۔
Aur Musalman ne Bura bin Aazib (RA) se ye hadees bayaan ki hai. Riwayat Muslim.
وَمُسلم عَن الْبَراء

Abu Huraira reported God’s messenger as saying that when any of them went to bed he should dust his bedding with the inner extremity of his lower garment, for he does not know what has come on to it since he left it. He should then say, “In Thy name, my Lord, I lay down my side and in Thee I raise it up. If Thou keepest my soul have mercy on it, but if Thou lettest it go guard it with that with which Thou guardest Thy upright servants.” A version says that he should then lie down on his right side and say, “In Thy name...”
(Bukhari and Muslim). A version says he should dust it three times with the border of his garment, and has “If Thou keepest my soul grant it pardon.”

ابوہریرہ ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ جب تم میں سے کوئی اپنے بستر پر آئے تو وہ (پہلے) اپنے ازار کے کنارے سے اپنے بستر کو جھاڑے ، کیونکہ وہ نہیں جانتا کہ اس کے بعد اس پر کون سی چیز آئی ، پھر وہ یہ دعا پڑھے : میرے پروردگار ! تیرے نام کے ساتھ میں نے اپنے پہلو کو رکھا ، اور تیرے نام کے ساتھ ہی اٹھاؤں گا ، اگر تو میری جان قبض کر لے تو پھر اس پر رحم فرمانا ، اور اگر تو اسے چھوڑ دے تو اس کی اس طرح حفاظت فرمانا جیسے تو اپنے صالح بندوں کی حفاظت فرماتا ہے ۔‘‘ اور ایک روایت میں ہے :’’ پھر وہ اپنے دائیں پہلو پر لیٹے پھر دعا پڑھے : باسمک ۔‘‘ اور ایک دوسری روایت میں ہے :’’ اپنے کپڑے کے کنارے سے تین مرتبہ جھاڑے اور کہے اگر تو میری جان قبض کر لے تو اسے بخش دینا ۔‘‘ متفق علیہ ۔
Abu Huraira RA bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah SAW ne farmaya: ''Jab tum mein se koi apne bistar par aaye to wo (pehle) apne izaar ke kinare se apne bistar ko jhade, kyunki wo nahin janta ke iske baad is par kon si cheez aai, phir wo ye dua padhe: Mere Parwardigaar! Tere naam ke saath maine apne pehlu ko rakha, aur tere naam ke saath hi uthaunga, agar tu meri jaan qabz kar le to phir is par reham farmana, aur agar tu ise chhod de to iski is tarah hifazat farmana jaise tu apne saleh bandon ki hifazat farmata hai.'' Aur ek riwayat mein hai: ''Phir wo apne daayen pehlu par lete phir dua padhe: Bismillah.'' Aur ek dusri riwayat mein hai: ''Apne kapde ke kinare se teen martaba jhade aur kahe agar tu meri jaan qabz kar le to ise bakhsh dena.'' Muttafiq alaih.
Al-Bara’ b. ‘Azib said that when God’s messenger went to bed he lay on his right side and then said, “O God, I have handed over my soul to Thee, turned my face to Thee, entrusted my affairs to Thee, and committed my back to Thee out of desire for and fear of Thee. There is no refuge and no place of safety from Thee except by having recourse to Thee. I believe in Thy Book which Thou hast sent down and in Thy Prophet whom Thou hast sent.” God’s messenger said that if anyone repeated these words and died that night, he would die in the true religion. In a version he reported God’s messenger as telling a man to perform the ablution for prayer when he went to bed, lie down on his right side, and say, “O God, I have handed over my soul to Thee . . . Thou hast sent.” He added, “If you die during the night you will die in the true religion, and if you live till the morning you will obtain good.”

براء بن عازب ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، جب رسول اللہ ﷺ اپنے بستر پر آتے تو آپ دائیں کروٹ لیٹتے ، پھر یہ دعا پڑھتے :’’ اے اللہ ! میں نے اپنی جان تیرے سپرد کر دی ، اپنا چہرہ تیری طرف متوجہ کر دیا ، اپنا معاملہ تیرے سپرد کر دیا اور اپنی پشت تیری طرف جھکائی ۔ اور یہ سب کچھ تیرا شوق رکھتے ہوئے اور تجھ سے ڈرتے ہوئے کیا ، تیرے سوا کوئی پناہ گاہ ہے نہ مقام نجات ، میں تیری کتاب پر ایمان لایا جسے تو نےنازل فرمایا ، اور تیرے نبی پر ایمان لایا جسے تو نے بھیجا ۔‘‘ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ جو شخص یہ کلمات پڑھے اور پھر اسی رات فوت ہو جائے تو وہ فطرت (یعنی اسلام) پر فوت ہو گا ۔‘‘\n اور ایک دوسری روایت میں ہے : راوی بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے کسی آدمی سے فرمایا :’’ اے فلاں ! جب تم اپنے بستر پر لیٹنا چاہو تو نماز کا سا وضو کرو ۔ پھر اپنے دائیں پہلو پر لیٹو ، پھر یہ دعا پڑھو : اے اللہ ! میں نے اپنی جان تیرے سپرد کی ...... یعنی مکمل دعا پڑھی ۔‘‘ فرمایا :’’ اگر تم اسی رات فوت ہو گئے تو تم فطرت (یعنی اسلام) پر فوت ہو گے اور اگر صبح کی تو تم خیر و بھلائی پاؤ گے ۔‘‘ متفق علیہ ۔\n
Bara bin Aazeb bayan karte hain, jab Rasool Allah apne bistar par aate to aap daen karwat lete, phir ye dua parhte: ''Aye Allah! Maine apni jaan tere supurd kar di, apna chehra teri taraf mutawajja kar diya, apna mamla tere supurd kar diya aur apni pusht teri taraf jhukai. Aur ye sab kuchh tera shauq rakhte huye aur tujhse darte huye kiya, tere siwa koi panah gah hai na maqam nijaat, main teri kitaab par eman laya jise tune nazil farmaya, aur tere nabi par eman laya jise tune bheja.'' Rasool Allah ne farmaya: ''Jo shakhs ye kalmat parhe aur phir usi raat faut ho jaye to wo fitrat (yani Islam) par faut ho ga.''
Aur ek dusri riwayat mein hai: Rawi bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah ne kisi aadmi se farmaya: ''Aye falan! Jab tum apne bistar par letna chaho to namaz ka sa wazu karo. Phir apne daen pehlu par leto, phir ye dua parho: Aye Allah! Maine apni jaan tere supurd ki ...... yani mukammal dua parhi.'' Farmaya: ''Agar tum usi raat faut ho gaye to tum fitrat (yani Islam) par faut ho ge aur agar subah ki to tum khair o bhalai pao ge.'' Mutafaq alaih.
Anas told that when God’s messenger went to his bed he said, “Praise be to God who has fed us, given us drink, satisfied us and given us refuge. Many there are who have no one to provide sufficiency for them, or give them refuge.”
Muslim transmitted it.

انس ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ جب رسول اللہ ﷺ اپنے بستر پر آتے تو یہ دعا پڑھتے :’’ ہر قسم کی تعریف اللہ کے لئے ہے جس نے ہمیں کھانا کھلایا ، پلایا ، وہ ہمارے لئے کافی ہو گیا اور ہمیں ٹھکانہ عطا فرمایا ، کتنے ہی لوگ ہیں جنہیں کوئی کفایت کرنے والا ہے نہ ٹھکانہ دینے والا ہے ۔‘‘ رواہ مسلم ۔
Anas RA se riwayat hai ki jab Rasul Allah SAW apne bistar par aate to ye dua parhte: ''Har qisam ki tareef Allah ke liye hai jisne hamen khana khilaya, pilaya, wo humare liye kaafi ho gaya aur hamen thikana ata farmaaya, kitne hi log hain jinhen koi kifayat karne wala hai na thikana dene wala hai.'' Riwayat Muslim.
‘Ali said that Fatima went to the Prophet to complain of the effect of the grinding-stone on her hand, as she had heard that he had acquired some slaves, but did not find him, so she mentioned the matter to ‘A'isha. When he came ‘A'isha informed him. ‘Ali said:He visited us when we had gone to bed, and when we were about to get up he told us to stay where we were. He then came and sat down between her and me, and I felt the coldness of his foot on my belly. He then said, “Let me guide you to something better than what you have asked. When you go to bed, say ‘Glory be to God’ thirty-three times, ‘Praise be to God’ thirty-three times, and ‘God is most great’ thirty-four times. That will be better for you than a servant.”

علی ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ فاطمہ ؓ نبی ﷺ کے پاس اس تکلیف کی شکایت لے کر گئیں جو انہیں چکی پیسنے سے ہوئی تھی ، اور انہیں پتہ چلا تھا کہ آپ ﷺ کے پاس کچھ غلام آئے ہیں ، لیکن ان کی آپ سے ملاقات نہ ہو سکی تو انہوں نے عائشہ ؓ سے اپنے آنے کا مقصد بیان کیا ، جب آپ تشریف لائے تو عائشہ ؓ نے آپ کو بتایا ، علی ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، آپ ایسے وقت میں ہمارے پاس تشریف لائے کہ ہم اپنے بستروں پر لیٹ چکے تھے ، ہم اٹھنے لگے تو آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ اپنی جگہ پر لیٹے رہو ۔‘‘ پھر آپ ہمارے درمیان بیٹھ گئے حتیٰ کہ میں نے آپ کے پاؤں کی ٹھنڈک اپنے پیٹ پر محسوس کی ، آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ کیا میں تمہیں اس چیز سے ، جس کا تم نے سوال کیا ہے ، بہتر چیز بتاؤں ؟ جب تم اپنے بستر پر جاؤ تو تینتیس مرتبہ ((سبحان اللہ)) تینتیس مرتبہ ((الحمدللہ)) اور چونتیس مرتبہ ((اللہ اکبر)) پڑھ لیا کرو ، وہ تمہارے لئے ، خادم کے مل جانے سے بہتر ہے ۔‘‘ متفق علیہ ۔
Ali (RA) se riwayat hai ki Fatima (RA) Nabi (SAW) ke paas us takleef ki shikayat lekar gayin jo unhen chakki peesne se hui thi, aur unhen pata chala tha ki aap (SAW) ke paas kuch ghulam aaye hain, lekin unki aap se mulaqat na ho saki to unhon ne Ayesha (RA) se apne aane ka maqsad bayan kiya, jab aap tashreef laaye to Ayesha (RA) ne aap ko bataya, Ali (RA) bayan karte hain, aap aise waqt mein hamare paas tashreef laaye ki hum apne bistaron par late chuke the, hum uthne lage to aap (SAW) ne farmaya: ''Apni jagah par late raho.'' Phir aap hamare darmiyan baith gaye hatta ki main ne aap ke paon ki thandak apne pet par mehsoos ki, aap (SAW) ne farmaya: ''Kya main tumhen us cheez se, jis ka tum ne sawal kiya hai, behtar cheez bataun? Jab tum apne bistar par jao to teintis martaba ((Subhan Allah)) teintis martaba ((Alhamdulillah)) aur chauntis martaba ((Allahu Akbar)) parh liya karo, woh tumhare liye, khadim ke mil jaane se behtar hai.'' Mutaffiq Alaih.
Abu Huraira said that when Fatima went to the Prophet and asked him for a servant, he said, “Let me guide you to something which is better than a servant. You should say ‘Glory be to God thirty-three times, ‘Praise be to God" thirty-three times, and ‘God is most great’ thirty-four times at each time of prayer and when you go to bed.”
Muslim transmitted it.

ابوہریرہ ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، فاطمہ ؓ رسول اللہ ﷺ سے ایک خادم کا مطالبہ کرنے آپ کے پاس آئیں تو آپ نے فرمایا :’’ کیا میں تمہیں ایسی چیز نہ بتاؤں جو کہ خادم سے بہتر ہے ، کہ تم ہر نماز اور سوتے وقت تینتیس مرتبہ ’’ سبحان اللہ ‘‘ تینتیس مرتبہ ’’ الحمدللہ ‘‘ اور چونتیس مرتبہ ’’ اللہ اکبر ‘‘ پڑھ لیا کریں ۔‘‘ رواہ مسلم ۔
Abu Huraira bayan karte hain, Fatima Rasul Allah se ek khadim ka mutalba karne aap ke pass aayin to aap ne farmaya: "kia main tumhein aisi cheez na bataun jo keh khadim se behtar hai, keh tum har namaz aur sote waqt taintees martaba "Subhan Allah" taintees martaba "Alhamdulillah" aur chauntees martaba "Allahu Akbar" parh liya karein." Riwayat Muslim.
Abu Huraira said that God’s messenger would say in the morning, "O God, by, Thee we come to the morning, by Thee we come to the evening, by Thee we live, by Thee we die, and to Thee do we come." In the evening he said, “O God, by Thee we come to the evening, by Thee we come to the morning, by Thee we live, by Thee we die, and to Thee are we resurrected.”
Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah transmitted it.

ابوہریرہ ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، جب رسول اللہ ﷺ صبح کرتے تو یہ دعا پڑھتے :’’ اے اللہ ! ہم نے تیری ہی توفیق سے صبح کی ، تیری ہی توفیق سے شام کی ، تیری ہی توفیق سے زندہ ہیں ، تیری ہی توفیق سے مریں گے اور تیری ہی طرف لوٹنا ہے ۔‘‘ اور جب آپ شام کرتے تو یہ دعا پڑھا کرتے تھے :’’ اے اللہ ! ہم نے تیری ہی توفیق سے شام کی اور تیری ہی توفیق سے صبح کی ، تیری ہی توفیق سے زندہ ہیں اور تیرے ہی نام پر مریں گے اور تیری ہی طرف اٹھ کر جانا ہے ۔‘‘ صحیح ، رواہ الترمذی و ابوداؤد و ابن ماجہ ۔
Abu Hurairah bayan karte hain, jab Rasul Allah subah karte to yeh dua parhte: “Aye Allah! Hum ne teri hi tofiq se subah ki, teri hi tofiq se sham ki, teri hi tofiq se zinda hain, teri hi tofiq se marenge aur teri hi taraf lautna hai.” Aur jab aap sham karte to yeh dua parrha karte the: “Aye Allah! Hum ne teri hi tofiq se sham ki aur teri hi tofiq se subah ki, teri hi tofiq se zinda hain aur tere hi naam per marenge aur teri hi taraf uth kar jana hai.” Sahih, Riwayat al-Tirmidhi wa Abu Dawud wa Ibn Majah.
He told how Abu Bakr said he had asked God’s messenger to command him something to say in the morning and the evening, and he had told him to say, “O God, who knowest the unseen and the seen, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Lord and Possessor of everything, I testify that there is no god but Thee; I seek refuge in Thee from the evil within myself, from the evil of the devil and his [incitement to] attributing partners [to God].”* He instructed him to say it morning and evening, and when he went to bed.
*The Arabic word may be read either asshirk(attributing a partner to God), or assharah(snare). The former is preferred. Cf.Mirqat, ili, 99.

ابوہریرہ ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، ابوبکر ؓ نے عرض کیا ، اللہ کے رسول ! مجھے کوئی ایسا وظیفہ بتائیں جسے میں صبح شام پڑھا کروں ، آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ کہو ، اے اللہ ! غیب و حاضر کو جاننے والے ! زمین و آسمان کو پیدا کرنے والے ! ہر چیز کے رب اور مالک ! میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ تیرے سوا کوئی معبود برحق نہیں ، اور میں اپنے نفس کے شر ، شیطان کے شر اور اس کے شرک سے تیری پناہ چاہتا ہوں ۔‘‘ جب تم صبح کرو ، جب شام کرو اور جب اپنے بستر پر آؤ تو یہ کلمات کہا کرو ۔‘‘ صحیح ، رواہ الترمذی و ابوداؤد و الدارمی ۔
Abu Huraira bayan karte hain, Abubakar ne arz kiya, Allah ke Rasool! Mujhe koi aisa wazifa bataein jise main subah sham parha karoon, Aap ne farmaya: “Kaho, Aye Allah! Ghaib o haazir ko jaanne wale! Zameen o aasman ko paida karne wale! Har cheez ke Rabb aur Malik! Main gawahi deta hoon ke tere siwa koi mabood barhaq nahin, aur main apne nafs ke shar, shaitan ke shar aur uske shirk se teri panaah chahta hoon.” Jab tum subah karo, jab sham karo aur jab apne bistar par aao to yeh kalmat kaha karo.” Sahih, Riwayat Tirmizi o Abu Dawood o Darmi.
Aban b. ‘Uthman said he heard his father quoting God’s messenger as saying that if anyone says three times every morning and evening, “In the name of God, when whose name is mentioned nothing in earth or heaven can cause harm, and He is the Hearer, the Knower,” he will not be harmed by anything. Aban was afflicted by some paralysis, and when a man began to look at him Aban would say, “Why are you looking at me? The tradition is as I told it to you, but I did not say the words that day in order that God might carry out what He had decreed for me.”
Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah and Abu Dawud transmitted it. Abu Dawud’s version has, “He will not suffer sudden affliction till the morning, and if anyone says it in the morning he will not suffer sudden affliction till the evening.”

ابان بن عثمان بیان کرتے ہیں ، میں نے اپنے والد (عثمان ؓ) کو بیان کرتے ہوئے سنا ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ جو شخص ہر روز صبح و شام تین تین مرتبہ یہ دعا پڑھے تو اسے کوئی چیز تکلیف نہیں پہنچائے گی :’’ اللہ کے نام کے ساتھ جس کے نام کے ساتھ زمین و آسمان کی کوئی چیز تکلیف نہیں پہنچا سکتی اور وہ سننے والا جاننے والا ہے ۔‘‘ ابان کو فالج ہو گیا تو وہ آدمی (جس کو انہوں نے حدیث سنائی تھی تعجب کے ساتھ) ان کی طرف دیکھنے لگا تو ابان نے اسے کہا : تم میری طرف کیا دیکھتے ہو ؟ رہی حدیث تو وہ ویسے ہی ہے جیسے میں نے تمہیں بیان کی ہے ، لیکن میں نے آج اسے پڑھا نہیں تاکہ اللہ اپنی تقدیر مجھ پر نافذ کر سکے ۔ اور ایک دوسری روایت میں ہے :’’ اسے صبح ہونے تک کوئی ناگہانی آفت نہیں آئے گی اور جو شخص صبح کے وقت اسے پڑھے تو شام ہونے تک اسے کوئی ناگہانی آفت نہیں آئے گی ۔‘‘ صحیح ، رواہ الترمذی و ابن ماجہ و ابوداؤد ۔
Uban bin Usman bayan karte hain, maine apne wald (Usman) ko bayan karte huye suna, Rasul Allah ne farmaya: ''Jo shakhs har roz subah o sham teen teen martaba yeh dua padhe to use koi cheez takleef nahin pahunchayegi: ''Allah ke naam ke sath jis ke naam ke sath zameen o aasman ki koi cheez takleef nahin pahuncha sakti aur wo sunne wala jaanne wala hai.'' Uban ko faalij ho gaya to wo aadmi (jis ko unhon ne hadees sunaai thi taajjub ke sath) un ki taraf dekhne laga to Uban ne use kaha: Tum meri taraf kya dekhte ho? Rahi hadees to wo waise hi hai jaise maine tumhen bayan ki hai, lekin maine aaj use padha nahin taake Allah apni taqdeer mujh par nafiz kar sake. Aur ek dusri riwayat mein hai: ''Use subah hone tak koi naghaani aafat nahin aayegi aur jo shakhs subah ke waqt use padhe to sham hone tak use koi naghaani aafat nahin aayegi.'' Sahih, riwayat al-Tirmidhi wa Ibn Majah wa Abu Dawud.
‘Abdallah [i.e. ‘Abdallah b. Mas’ud.] said that the Prophet used to say in the evening, “We have come to the evening, and in the evening the dominion belongs to God; praise be to God; there is no god but God alone who has no partner; to Him belongs the dominion, to Him praise is due, and He is omnipotent. My Lord, I ask Thee for the good of what this night contains and the good of what comes after it; I seek refuge in Thee from the evil of what this night contains and the evil of what comes after it; my Lord, I seek refuge in Thee from indolence and from the evil of old age, or infidelity."* A version has, "From the evil of old age and pride. My Lord, I seek refuge in Thee from a punishment in hell and a punishment in the grave." In the morning he said that also:"We have come to the morning, and in the morning the dominion belongs to God..."
*The transmitter was not sure which word was used.
Abu Dawud and Tirmidhi transmitted it. Tirmidhi did not mention "from the evil of infidelity" in his version.

عبداللہ ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی ﷺ جب شام کرتے تو یہ دعا پڑھا کرتے تھے :’’ ہم نے اور اللہ کے ملک نے شام کی ، ہر قسم کی حمد اللہ کے لئے ہے ، اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود برحق نہیں ، وہ یکتا ہے ، اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں ، اس کے لئے بادشاہت ہے ، اسی کے لئے حمد ہے اور وہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے ، میرے رب ! میں اس رات کی بہتری اور اس کے بعد آنے والی راتوں کی بہتری کا سوال کرتا ہوں اور اس رات کے شر سے اور اس کے بعد آنے والی راتوں کے شر سے تیری پناہ چاہتا ہوں ، میرے رب ! میں کاہلی ، بڑھاپے کی خرابی یا کفر کی خرابی سے تیری پناہ چاہتا ہوں ۔‘‘ ایک اور دوسری روایت میں ہے :’’ میں بڑھاپے اور تکبر کی خرابی سے ، میرے رب ! میں آگ کے عذاب سے تیری پناہ چاہتا ہوں ۔‘‘ اور جب آپ صبح کرتے تو بھی ایسے ہی دعا کرتے تھے :’’ ہم نے اور اللہ کے ملک نے صبح کی ۔‘‘ ابوداؤد ، ترمذی ۔ اور ان کی روایت میں :’’ کفر کی خرابی سے ۔‘‘ کے الفاظ مذکور نہیں ۔ صحیح ، رواہ ابوداؤد و الترمذی ۔
Abdullah ra se riwayat hai keh Nabi jab sham karte to yeh dua parrha karte thay: Hum ne aur Allah ke mulk ne sham ki, har qisam ki hamd Allah ke liye hai, Allah ke siwa koi mabood barhaq nahi, wo yakta hai, is ka koi sharik nahi, is ke liye badshahat hai, isi ke liye hamd hai aur wo har cheez par qadir hai, mere Rab! main is raat ki behtari aur is ke baad aane wali raaton ki behtari ka sawal karta hun aur is raat ke shar se aur is ke baad aane wali raaton ke shar se teri panaah chahta hun, mere Rab! main kahili, budhape ki kharabi ya kufr ki kharabi se teri panaah chahta hun. Ek aur dusri riwayat mein hai: main budhape aur takabbur ki kharabi se, mere Rab! main aag ke azab se teri panaah chahta hun. Aur jab aap subah karte to bhi aise hi dua karte thay: Hum ne aur Allah ke mulk ne subah ki. Abu Dawood, Tirmidhi. Aur un ki riwayat mein: kufr ki kharabi se. Ke alfaz mazkoor nahi. Sahih, Rawah Abu Dawood wa Tirmidhi.
One of the Prophet's daughters said that he used to teach her, telling her to say in the morning, "Glory be to God, and I begin with praise of Him; there is no power but in God; what God wills comes to pass, and what He does not will does not come to pass; I know that God is omnipotent and that God has comprehended everything in knowledge;" for whoever says it in the morning will be guarded till the evening, and whoever says it in the evening will be guarded till the morning.

نبی ﷺ کی کسی لخت جگر سے روایت ہے کہ نبی ﷺ انہیں دعا سکھایا کرتے تھے ، آپ فرماتے :’’ جب تم صبح کرو تو یہ دعا پڑھو : پاک ہے اللہ اپنی حمد کے ساتھ ، سارے کام اللہ کی توفیق سے ہوتے ہیں ، جو اللہ چاہے وہ ہوتا ہے ، اور جو نہ چاہے ، نہیں ہوتا ۔ میں جانتا ہوں کہ اللہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے ، اور بے شک اللہ نے علم کے ذریعے ہر چیز کا احاطہ کر رکھا ہے ۔‘‘ جو شخص صبح کےوقت یہ کلمات کہے تو وہ شام تک محفوظ رہتا ہے اور جو شخص شام کے وقت یہ کلمات کہے تو وہ صبح ہونے تک محفوظ رہتا ہے ۔‘‘ اسنادہ ضعیف ، رواہ ابوداؤد ۔
Nabi SAW ki kisi lakht jigar se riwayat hai keh Nabi SAW unhen dua sikhaya karte thay, aap farmate: ''Jab tum subah karo to yeh dua parho: Pak hai Allah apni hamd ke sath, sare kaam Allah ki taufeeq se hote hain, jo Allah chahe wo hota hai, aur jo na chahe, nahin hota. Main janta hun keh Allah har cheez par qadir hai, aur be shak Allah ne ilm ke zariye har cheez ka ihata kar rakha hai.'' Jo shakhs subah ke waqt yeh kalmat kahe to wo sham tak mehfooz rehta hai aur jo shakhs sham ke waqt yeh kalmat kahe to wo subah hone tak mehfooz rehta hai.'' Isnada zaeef, riwayat Abu Dawood.
Ibn ‘Abbas reported God’s messenger as saying that if anyone repeats in the morning, "So glory be to God in the evening and in the morning; to Him is the praise in the heavens and the earth; and in the late evening and at noon .. . thus shall you be brought forth," [Qur'an, xxx, 17-19.] he will get that day what he has missed; and if anyone repeats these words in the evening he will get that night what he has missed.

ابن عباس ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ جو شخص صبح کے وقت یہ آیات پڑھے : (فَسُبْحَانَ اللہِ ........ وَکَذَالِکَ تُخْرَجُوْنَ) [۳۰/ الروم : ۱۷ ۔ ۱۹] ’’ پس تم اللہ کی تسبیح بیان کرو جب شام ہو اور جس وقت صبح ہو ، اور آسمانوں اور زمین میں اس کی حمد ہے ، اور اسکی تسبیح کرو تیسرے پہر بھی اور جب دوپہر ہو ، وہ جاندار کو بے جان سے نکالتا ہے ، اور بے جان کو جاندار سے باہر لاتا ہے ، اور زمین کو اس کے مردہ اور خشک ہو جانے کے بعد زندہ کر دیتا ہے اور اسی طرح تم بھی اسی کی طرف نکالے جاؤ گے ۔‘‘ تو اس روز جو اس سے نیک عمل چھوٹ گیا ہو گا وہ ان کلمات کے کہنے سے پا لے گا ، اور جو شخص یہ کلمات شام کے وقت کہے گا تو اس سے جو عمل اس رات میں رہ جائے گا تو وہ ان کلمات کے ذریعے ان کا تدراک کر لے گا ۔‘‘ اسنادہ ضعیف ، رواہ ابوداؤد ۔
Ibn Abbas bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah ne farmaya: ''Jo shakhs subah ke waqt ye aayaten parhe: (Fasubhanallahi ........ wakazalika tukhrajoon) [30/ al-Room: 17 - 19] ''Pas tum Allah ki tasbeeh bayan karo jab sham ho aur jis waqt subah ho, aur aasmanon aur zameen mein uski hamd hai, aur uski tasbeeh karo teesre pahar bhi aur jab dopahar ho, woh jandar ko bejaan se nikalta hai, aur bejaan ko jandar se bahar lata hai, aur zameen ko uske murda aur khushk ho jaane ke baad zinda karta hai aur isi tarah tum bhi usi ki taraf nikale jaoge.'' To us roz jo usse nek amal chhoot gaya hoga woh in kalmat ke kehne se paa lega, aur jo shakhs ye kalmat sham ke waqt kahega to usse jo amal us raat mein reh jayega to woh in kalmat ke zariye unka tadarak kar lega.'' Abu ‘Ayyash reported God's messenger as saying that if anyone says in the morning, “There is no god but God alone who has no partner; to Him belongs the dominion, to Him praise is due, and He is omnipotent,” he will have a reward equivalent to that for setting free a slave from among the descendants of Ishmael, will have ten good deeds recorded for him, will have ten evil deeds deducted from him, will be advanced ten degrees, and will be guarded from the devil till the evening. If he says them in the evening he will have a similar recompense till the morning. Hammad b. Salama said that a man saw God’s messenger in a dream and said, “Messenger of God, Abu ‘Ayyash is relating such and such on your authority,” to which he received the reply, “Abu ‘Ayyash has spoken the truth.”

ابوعیاش ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ جو شخص صبح کے وقت یہ دعا پڑھتا ہے :’’ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود برحق نہیں ، وہ یکتا ہے ، اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں ، اسی کے لئے بادشاہت ہے ، اسی کے لئے ہر قسم کی حمد ہے اور وہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے ۔‘‘ اس کے لئے اولاد اسماعیل ؑ سے دس غلام آزاد کرنے کے برابر ثواب ہے ، اس کے لئے دس نیکیاں لکھی جاتی ہیں ، اس سے دس گناہ مٹا دیے جاتے ہیں ، اس کے دس درجات بلند کر دیے جاتے ہیں اور پورا دن شام ہونے تک اس کے لئے شیطان سے بچاؤ اور تحفظ ہو جاتا ہے ۔ اور اگر وہ انہیں شام کے وقت پڑھے تو بھی اس کے لئے اتنا ہی اجر ہے حتیٰ کہ وہ صبح کرے ۔‘‘ کسی آدمی نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو خواب میں دیکھا تو اس نے عرض کیا ، اللہ کے رسول ! ابوعیاش آپ سے اس طرح حدیث بیان کرتے ہیں ، آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ ابوعیاش نے سچ کہا ۔‘‘ صحیح ، رواہ ابوداؤد و ابن ماجہ ۔
AbuAyyash RA se riwayat hai keh Rasool Allah SAW ne farmaya: ''Jo shakhs subah ke waqt yeh dua parhta hai: ''Allah ke siwa koi mabood barhaq nahin, woh yakta hai, uska koi sharik nahin, usi ke liye badshahat hai, usi ke liye har qisam ki hamd hai aur woh har cheez per qadir hai.'' Iske liye Aalaad Ismail AS se das ghulam azad karne ke barabar sawab hai, iske liye das nekiyan likhi jati hain, is se das gunaah mita diye jate hain, iske das darjaat buland kar diye jate hain aur poora din sham hone tak iske liye shaitan se bachao aur tahaffuz ho jata hai. Aur agar woh inhen sham ke waqt parhe to bhi iske liye itna hi ajr hai hatta keh woh subah kare.'' Kisi aadmi ne Rasool Allah SAW ko khwab mein dekha to usne arz kiya, Allah ke Rasool! AbuAyyash aap se is tarah hadees bayan karte hain, aap SAW ne farmaya: ''AbuAyyash ne sach kaha.'' Sahih, Riwayat AbuDawood-o-IbneMajah.
Al-Harith b. Muslim at-Tamimi quoted his father as saying that God’s messenger told him secretly to say seven times when he had finished the sunset prayer, before speaking to anyone, “O God, protect me from hell”; for if he said that and died that night, exemption from it would be recorded for him. He also told him to say that when he had prayed the morning prayer, for if he died that day, exemption from it would be recorded for him.

حارث بن مسلم تمیمی اپنے والد سے اوروہ رسول اللہ ﷺ سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ آپ ﷺ نے آہستگی سے ان سے فرمایا :’’ جب تم نماز مغرب سے فارغ ہو جاؤ تو کسی سے بات کرنے سے پہلے سات مرتبہ یہ دعا پڑھو :’’ اے اللہ ! مجھے آگ سے بچا لے ۔‘‘ اگر تم نے یہ دعا پڑھ لی اور اسی رات فوت ہو جاؤ تو تمہارے لئے اس (آگ) سے خلاصی لکھ دی جائے گی ۔ اور جب تم نماز صبح پڑھو تو اسی طرح کہو ، اگر تم اسی دن فوت ہو گئے تو تمہارے لئے اس (آگ) سے خلاصی لکھ دی جائے گی ۔‘‘ حسن ، رواہ ابوداؤد ۔
Haris bin Muslim Tamimi apne walid se aur woh Rasul Allah (ﷺ) se riwayat karte hain keh aap (ﷺ) ne aahistgi se unse farmaya: ''Jab tum namaz Maghrib se farigh ho jao to kisi se baat karne se pehle saat martaba yeh dua parho: ''Aye Allah! Mujhe aag se bacha le.'' Agar tumne yeh dua parh li aur isi raat foot ho jao to tumhare liye us (aag) se khalasi likh di jayegi. Aur jab tum namaz Subah parho to isi tarah kaho, agar tum usi din foot ho gaye to tumhare liye us (aag) se khalasi likh di jayegi.'' Hasan, Riwayat Abu Dawood.
Ibn ‘Umar said that God’s messenger never failed to use these words evening and morning, “O God, I ask Thee for security in this world and the next; O God, I ask Thee for forgiveness and security in my religion and my worldly affairs, in my family and my property; O God, conceal my faults [cf.Mirqat, iii, 103.] and keep me safe from the things which I fear; O God, guard me in front of me and behind me, on my right hand and on my left, and from above me; and I seek refuge in Thy greatness from receiving unexpected harm from below me.” Waki‘ said he meant being swallowed up by the earth.

ابن عمر ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ صبح و شام یہ کلمات ضرور پڑھا کرتے تھے :’’ اے اللہ ! میں تجھ سے دنیا و آخرت میں عافیت کی درخواست کرتا ہوں ، اے اللہ ! میں تجھ سے اپنے دین ، اپنی دنیا اور اپنے اہل و عیال اور مال میں معافی اور عافیت کی درخواست کرتا ہوں ، اے اللہ ! میری پردے والی باتوں پر پردہ ڈال اور میرے خوف و ہراس کو امن میں بدل دے ، اے اللہ ! تو میرے سامنے سے ، میرے پیچھے سے ، میرے دائیں سے ، میرے بائیں سے اور میرے اوپر سے میری حفاظت فرما ، اور میں اس بات سے کہ میں ناگہاں اپنے نیچے سے ہلاک کیا جاؤں ، تیری پناہ چاہتا ہوں ۔‘‘ (وکیع نے کہا) یعنی زمین میں دھنسایا جاؤں ۔ اسنادہ صحیح ، رواہ ابوداؤد ۔
Ibn Umar RA bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah SAW subah o sham yeh kalmat zaroor parha karte thay: “Aye Allah! Main tujhse duniya o akhirat mein afiyat ki darkhwast karta hun. Aye Allah! Main tujhse apne deen, apni duniya aur apne ahal o ayaal aur maal mein mafi aur afiyat ki darkhwast karta hun. Aye Allah! Meri parday wali baaton par parda daal aur mere khauf o haras ko aman mein badal de. Aye Allah! Tu mere samne se, mere peechhe se, mere daayen se, mere baayen se aur mere upar se meri hifazat farma, aur main is baat se ke main naghan apne neeche se halaak kia jaun, teri panaah chahta hun." (Waqi ne kaha) Yaani zameen mein dhansaya jaun. Isnaadahu sahih, riwayat Abu Dawood.
Anas reported God's messenger as saying that if anyone says in the morning, “O God, in the morning we call Thee, the bearers of Thy Throne, Thy angels and all Thy creatures to witness that Thou art God than whom alone there is no god, being without a partner, and that Muhammad is Thy servant and messenger,” God will forgive him any sins he commits that day; and if he says it in the evening, God will forgive him any sins he commits that night.
Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud transmitted it, Tirmidhi saying this is agharibtradition.

انس ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ جو شخص صبح کے وقت یہ دعا پڑھتا ہے :’’ اے اللہ ! ہم نے صبح کی ، ہم تجھے ، تیرے عرش کو اٹھانے والے فرشتوں ، تیرے باقی فرشتوں اور تیری تمام مخلوق کو گواہ بنا کر کہتے ہیں کہ تو اللہ ہے ، تیرے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں ، تو یکتا ہے ، تیرا کوئی شریک نہیں ، اور بے شک محمد (ﷺ) تیرے بندے اور تیرے رسول ہیں ۔‘‘ تو اس روز اس سے جو گناہ سرزد ہو گا تو اللہ اسے معاف فرما دے گا ، اور اگر وہ یہ کلمات شام کے وقت پڑھے گا تو اس رات اس سے جو گناہ سرزد ہو گا ، اللہ اسے معاف فرما دے گا ۔‘‘ ترمذی ، ابوداؤد ، اور امام ترمذی نے فرمایا : یہ حدیث غریب ہے ۔ حسن ، رواہ الترمذی و ابوداؤد ۔
Anas R.A. bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: ''Jo shakhs subah ke waqt yeh dua parhta hai: ''Aye Allah! Hum ne subah ki, hum tujhe, tere arsh ko uthane wale farishton, tere baqi farishton aur teri tamam makhlooq ko gawah bana kar kehte hain ki tu Allah hai, tere siwa koi mabood nahin, tu yakta hai, tera koi sharik nahin, aur be shak Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) tere bande aur tere rasool hain.'' To us roz us se jo gunah sarzad ho ga to Allah use maaf farma de ga, aur agar woh yeh kalmat sham ke waqt parhe ga to us raat us se jo gunah sarzad ho ga, Allah use maaf farma de ga.'' Tirmidhi, Abu Dawood, aur Imam Tirmidhi ne farmaya: Yeh hadees ghareeb hai. Hasan, Rawahu Tirmidhi wa Abu Dawood.
Thauban reported God’s messenger as saying that if any Muslim says three times evening and morning, "I am pleased with God as Lord, with Islam as religion, and with Muhammad as Prophet," God will certainly please him on the day of resurrection.
Ahmad and Tirmidhi transmitted it.

ثوبان ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ جب کوئی مسلمان آدمی صبح و شام تین مرتبہ کہتا ہے :’’ میں اللہ کے رب ہونے پر ، اسلام کے دین ہونے پر اور محمد (ﷺ) کے نبی ہونے پر راضی ہوں ۔‘‘ تو پھر اللہ پر حق ہے کہ وہ روز قیامت اس (شخص) کو راضی کرے ۔‘‘ صحیح ، رواہ احمد و الترمذی ۔
Sauban bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah ne farmaya: "Jab koi musalman aadmi subah o sham teen martaba kehta hai: 'Main Allah ke Rabb hone par, Islam ke deen hone par aur Muhammad (ﷺ) ke Nabi hone par razi hun.' To phir Allah par haq hai ki woh roz qayamat us (shakhs) ko razi kare." Sahih, Riwayat Ahmad o Tirmidhi.
Hudhaifa said that when the Prophet wanted to go to sleep he placed his hand under his head and said, "O God, guard me from thy punishment on the day when Thou gatherest Thy servants," or "raisest up Thy servants."
Tirmidhi transmitted it, and Ahmad gave al-Bara’ as his authority.

حذیفہ ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی ﷺ جب سونے کا ارادہ فرماتے تو آپ اپنے سر کے نیچے ہاتھ رکھ کر یہ دعا پڑھا کرتے تھے :’’ اے اللہ ! جس روز تو اپنے بندوں کو جمع کرے یا تو اپنے بندوں کو (قبروں سے) اٹھائے تو مجھے اپنے عذاب سے بچانا ۔‘‘ صحیح ، رواہ الترمذی ۔
Huzaifa RA se riwayat hai ke Nabi SAW jab sone ka irada farmate to apne sar ke neeche hath rakh kar ye dua parha karte the: ''Aye Allah! Jis roz tu apne bandon ko jama kare ya to apne bandon ko (qabron se) uthaye to mujhe apne azab se bachana.'' Sahih, Riwayat al-Tirmidhi.
And Imam Ahmad narrated it from Bara'. Authentic, narrated by Ahmad.

حفصہ ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ ، رسول اللہ ﷺ جب سونے کا ارادہ فرماتے تو آپ اپنا دایاں ہاتھ اپنے رخسار کے نیچے رکھتے اور تین بار یہ دعا فرماتے :’’ اے اللہ ! تو جس روز اپنے بندوں کو اٹھائے گا اس روز مجھے اپنے عذاب سے بچانا ۔‘‘ اسنادہ حسن ، رواہ ابوداؤد ۔
Hafsa RA se riwayat hai keh, Rasool Allah SAW jab sone ka irada farmate to aap apna dayan hath apne rukhsar ke neeche rakhte aur teen baar yeh dua farmate: ''Ae Allah! Tu jis roz apne bandon ko uthaye ga us roz mujhe apne azab se bachana.'' Isnada hasan, riwayat Abu Dawood.
‘Ali reported that God’s messenger used to say when he lay down, "O God, I seek refuge in Thy noble Person and in Thy perfect words from the evil of what Thou seizest by its forelock; O God, Thou removest debt and sin; O God, Thy troop is not routed, Thy promise is not broken, and the riches of the rich do not avail against Thee. Glory and praise be unto Thee."

علی ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ لیٹتے وقت یہ دعا پڑھا کرتے تھے :’’ اے اللہ ! میں تیرے عزت والے چہرے اور تیرے کامل کلمات کے ذریعے ہر اس چیز کے شر سے ، جس کی پیشانی تو نے تھام رکھی ہے ، پناہ چاہتا ہوں ، اے اللہ ! تو ہی قرض اور گناہ دور کرنے والا ہے ، اے اللہ ! تیرے لشکر کو شکست نہیں دی جا سکتی ، تیرا وعدہ خلاف نہیں ہوتا ، کسی تونگر شخص کی تونگری تیرے ہاں کام نہیں آ سکتی ، تو ہی اپنی حمد کے ساتھ پاک ہے ۔‘‘ اسنادہ ضعیف ، رواہ ابوداؤد ۔
Ali (RA) se riwayat hai ke Rasul Allah (SAW) lait te waqt ye dua parha karte thay: "Aye Allah! Main tere izzat wale chehre aur tere kamil kalmat ke zariye har us cheez ke shar se, jis ki peshani tu ne thaam rakhi hai, panah chahta hun, Aye Allah! Tu hi qarz aur gunah door karne wala hai, Aye Allah! Tere lashkar ko shikast nahi di ja sakti, tera wada khilaf nahi hota, kisi tongar shakhs ki tongri tere han kaam nahi aa sakti, tu hi apni hamd ke sath pak hai." Isnaadahu zaeef, riwayat Abu Dawood.
Abu Sa'id reported God's messenger as saying that if anyone says three times when going to bed, "I ask the forgiveness of God than whom there is no god, the Living, the Eternal, and I turn in repentance to Him," God will forgive him his sins, even if they are like the foam of the sea, or in number like the sand which is accumulated,* or as many as the leaves of the trees, or as numerous as the days of this world.
*The word is‘alij. Some say ‘Alij is a place in the desert, the translation being ‘the sand of ‘Alij; others treat it as translated above.
Tirmidhi transmitted it, saying this is agharibtradition.

ابوسعید ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ جو شخص اپنے بستر پر آئے اور تین مرتبہ یہ دعا پڑھے : میں اللہ سے مغفرت طلب کرتا ہوں جس کے سوا کوئی معبود برحق نہیں ، وہ زندہ ، قائم رکھنے والا ہے اور میں اسی کے حضور توبہ کرتا ہوں ۔‘‘ تو اللہ اس کے گناہ معاف کر دیتا ہے خواہ وہ سمندر کی جھاگ کے برابر ہوں یا وادی عالج کی ریت کے ذرات کی تعداد یا درختوں کے پتوں یا دنیا کے ایام کے برابر ہوں ۔‘‘ ترمذی ، اور فرمایا یہ حدیث غریب ہے ۔ اسنادہ ضعیف ، رواہ الترمذی ۔
Abu Saeed riwayat karte hain, Rasool Allah ne farmaya: ''Jo shakhs apne bistar par aaye aur teen martaba yeh dua parhe: Main Allah se mughfirat talab karta hun jis ke siwa koi mabood barhaq nahin, woh zinda, qaim rakhne wala hai aur main usi ke huzoor toba karta hun.'' To Allah uske gunah maaf kar deta hai khawah woh samandar ki jhaag ke barabar hon ya wadi e aalaj ki ret ke zarrat ki tadad ya darakhton ke patton ya duniya ke ayam ke barabar hon.'' Tirmizi, aur farmaya yeh hadees ghareeb hai. Isnadah zaeef, riwayat al-Tirmizi.
Shaddad b. Aus reported God’s messenger as saying, "If any Muslim recites asurafrom God’s Book when he goes to bed, God will put an angel in charge of him, and nothing which may harm him will come near him till he wakes".

شداد بن اوس ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ جب کوئی مسلمان لیٹتے وقت قرآن مجید کی کوئی سورت تلاوت کرتا ہے تو اللہ اس پر ایک فرشتہ مامور فرما دیتا ہے تو پھر اس کے بیدار ہونے تک کوئی موذی چیز اس کے قریب نہیں جاتی ۔‘‘ اسنادہ ضعیف ، رواہ الترمذی ۔
Shadad bin Aws RA bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah SAW ne farmaya: '' Jab koi musalman lete waqt Quran Majeed ki koi surat tilawat karta hai to Allah us par ek farishta mamur farma deta hai to phir uske bedar hone tak koi moozi cheez uske qareeb nahi jati. '' Isnadahu zaeef, Rawah al-Tirmizi.
‘Abdallah b. ‘Amr b. al-‘As reported God’s messenger as saying there are two characteristics which will not be retained by any Muslim without his entering paradise. While they are easy, those who act upon them are few. One should say ‘Glory be to God’ ten times after every prayer, ‘Praise be to God’ ten times and ‘God is most great’ ten times. (He said he had seen God’s messenger counting them on his hand, and saying, “That is a hundred and fifty on the tongue, but one thousand five hundred in the scale”).[The three phrases each said ten times after the five times of prayer makes a hundred and fifty, and as a good deed gets a ten-fold reward the total is treated as one thousand five hundred.] When he goes to his bed he should say ‘Glory be to God,’ ‘God is most Great’ and ‘Praise be to God’ a hundred times, for that is a hundred on the tongue, but a thousand in the scale. He asked them which of them could commit two thousand five hundred sins in a day and a night.* He was asked how they could not retain these characteristics, and told them that the devil comes to a man while he is engaged in prayer, calling such and such and such and such to his memory until he turns away and perhaps may not do it. He also comes to him on his bed and keeps on making him sleep till he falls asleep.
*The thousand plus the preceding fifteen hundred make two thousand five hundred good deeds with which the man who observes the two characteristics mentioned is credited, and as one could hardly commit as many sins in a day and a night there is a balance in his favour.
Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud and Nasa’i transmitted it. In Abu Dawud's version he said, “Two qualities or two characteristics will not be adhered to by a Muslim ...” And also in his version after saying “One thousand five hundred in the scale” he said, “When he goes to his bed he should say ‘God is most great’ thirty-four times, ‘Praise be to God’ thirty-three times and ‘Glory be to God’ thirty-three times.” In most texts ofal-Masabihit is given on the authority of ‘Abdallah b. ‘Umar.

عبداللہ بن عمرو بن عاص ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ دو خصلتیں ایسی ہیں کہ جو کوئی مسلمان ان کی حفاظت کرتا ہے وہ جنت میں داخل ہو گا ، سن لو ! وہ بہت آسان ہیں ۔ لیکن انہیں بجا لانے والے قلیل ہیں ، ہر نماز کے بعد دس مرتبہ سبحان اللہ کہنا ، دس مرتبہ الحمدللہ کہنا اور دس مرتبہ اللہ اکبر کہنا ۔‘‘ راوی بیان کرتے ہیں ، میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو دیکھا کہ آپ اپنے ہاتھ سے ان کی گرہ لگا رہے تھے ، فرمایا :’’ یہ (پانچوں نمازوں میں) زبان پر ایک سو پچاس ہیں جبکہ میزان میں پندرہ سو ہیں ۔ اور جب وہ لیٹتے وقت سبحان اللہ ، اللہ اکبر اور الحمدللہ کی سو مرتبہ گنتی کرے تو یہ زبان پر سو ہے جبکہ ترازو میں ہزار ، تم میں سے روزانہ اڑھائی ہزار گنا کون کرتا ہے ؟‘‘ صحابہ نے عرض کیا ، ہم ان (دو خصلتوں) کی کیسے حفاظت نہیں کریں گے ؟ فرمایا :’’ تم میں سے کوئی نماز میں ہوتا ہے ۔ شیطان اس کے پاس آتا ہے تو کہتا ہے : فلاں چیز یاد کرو ، فلاں چیز یاد کرو حتیٰ کہ وہ شخص نماز سے فارغ ہو جاتا ہے ، شاید کہ وہ ایسے نہ کر سکے اور وہ اس کے لیٹنے کے وقت بھی اس کے پاس آتا ہے اور وہ اسے سلاتا رہتا ہے حتیٰ کہ وہ سو جاتا ہے ۔‘‘ ترمذی ، ابوداؤد ، نسائی ۔ اور ابوداؤد کی روایت میں ہے فرمایا :’’ دو خصلتیں ایسی ہیں جن کی مسلمان بندہ حفاظت نہیں کرتا ۔‘‘ اور اسی طرح اس کی روایت میں ہے :’’ میزان میں پندرہ سو ہے ۔‘‘ کہنے کے بعد فرمایا : جب وہ اپنے بستر پر آئے تو وہ چونتیس مرتبہ اللہ اکبر کہتا ہے ، تینتیس مرتبہ الحمدللہ کہتا ہے اور تینتیس مرتبہ سبحان اللہ کہتا ہے ۔‘‘ اور مصابیح کے اکثر نسخوں میں عبداللہ بن عمر ؓ سے مروی ہے ۔ اسنادہ حسن ، رواہ الترمذی و ابوداؤد و النسائی ۔
Abdullah bin Amr bin Aas بیان karte hain, Rasool Allah ne farmaya: ''Do khuslatein aisi hain ke jo koi Musalman un ki hifazat karta hai wo Jannat mein dakhil ho ga, sun lo! Wo bahut aasan hain. Lekin unhen baja laane wale qaleel hain, har Namaz ke bad das martaba Subhan Allah kehna, das martaba Alhamdulillah kehna aur das martaba Allahu Akbar kehna.'' Ravi bayan karte hain, maine Rasool Allah ko dekha ki aap apne hath se un ki girah laga rahe the, farmaya: ''Ye (panchon Namazon mein) zuban par ek sau pachas hain jabke meezan mein pandrah sau hain. Aur jab wo lete waqt Subhan Allah, Allahu Akbar aur Alhamdulillah ki sau martaba ginti kare to ye zuban par sau hai jabke tarazu mein hazaar, tum mein se rozana adhai hazaar ginna kaun karta hai?'' Sahaba ne arz kiya, hum un (do khuslaton) ki kaise hifazat nahin karenge? Farmaya: ''Tum mein se koi Namaz mein hota hai. Shaitan us ke pass aata hai to kehta hai: Fulan cheez yaad karo, fulan cheez yaad karo hatta ki wo shakhs Namaz se farigh ho jata hai, shayad ki wo aise na kar sake aur wo us ke letne ke waqt bhi us ke pass aata hai aur wo use sulata rehta hai hatta ki wo so jata hai.'' Tirmidhi, Abu Dawood, Nasa'i. Aur Abu Dawood ki riwayat mein hai farmaya: ''Do khuslatein aisi hain jin ki Musalman banda hifazat nahin karta.'' Aur isi tarah is ki riwayat mein hai: ''Meezan mein pandrah sau hai.'' Kehne ke bad farmaya: Jab wo apne bistar par aaye to wo chauntis martaba Allahu Akbar kehta hai, teintis martaba Alhamdulillah kehta hai aur teintis martaba Subhan Allah kehta hai.'' Aur Masabih ke aksar nuskhon mein Abdullah bin Umar se marvi hai. Isnadah Hasan, Rawah al-Tirmidhi wa Abu Dawood wa al-Nasa'i.
‘Abdallah b. Ghannam reported God’s messenger as saying, that if anyone says in the morning, "O God, whatever favour has come to me or to any of Thy creatures in the morning, it comes from Thee alone who hast no partner, to whom be praise and thanksgiving," he will have expressed full thanksgiving for the day; and if anyone says the same in the evening he will have expressed full thanksgiving for the night.

عبداللہ بن غنام ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ جو شخص صبح کے وقت یہ دعا کرتا ہے :’’ اے اللہ ! جو نعمت مجھے یا تیری مخلوق میں سے کسی کو ملی ہے وہ صرف تجھ اکیلے ہی کی طرف سے ملی ہے ، تیرا کوئی شریک نہیں ، ہر قسم کی تعریف اور شکر تیرے ہی لئے ہے ۔‘‘ وہ شخص اس روز کا شکر ادا کر دیتا ہے ، اور جو شخص شام کے وقت یہی دعا کرتا ہے تو وہ اس شام کا شکر ادا کر دیتا ہے ۔‘‘ اسنادہ ضعیف ، رواہ ابوداؤد ۔
Abdullah bin Ghulam bayan karte hain, Rasul Allah ne farmaya: ''Jo shakhs subah ke waqt yeh dua karta hai: ''Aye Allah! Jo naimat mujhe ya teri makhlooq mein se kisi ko mili hai woh sirf tujh akele hi ki taraf se mili hai, tera koi sharik nahi, har qisam ki tareef aur shukar tere hi liye hai.'' Woh shakhs us roz ka shukar ada kar deta hai, aur jo shakhs sham ke waqt yehi dua karta hai to woh us sham ka shukar ada kar deta hai.'' Isnada zaeef, Rawah Abu Dawood.
Abu Huraira told that when the Prophet went to his bed he used to say, “O God, Lord of the heavens, Lord of the earth, Lord of everything, who splittest the grain and the kernel, who hast sent down the Torah, the Injil and the Qur’an, I seek refuge in Thee from the evil of every evil agent whose forelock Thou seizest. Thou art the First and there is nothing before Thee; Thou art the Last and there is nothing after Thee; Thou art the Outward and there is nothing above Thee; Thou art the Inward and there is nothing below Thee. Pay the debt for me and grant me riches instead of poverty.”
Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah transmitted it. Muslim also transmitted it with a slight difference.

ابوہریرہ ؓ نبی ﷺ سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ جب آپ اپنے بستر پر تشریف لاتے تو آپ یہ دعا پڑھا کرتے تھے :’’ اے اللہ ! زمین و آسمان کے رب ! اور ہر چیز کے رب ! دانے اور گٹھلی کو پھاڑنے والے ! تورات ، انجیل اور قرآن نازل کرنے والے ! میں ہر شر والی چیز کے شر سے جس کی تو پیشانی پکڑے ہوئے ہے پناہ چاہتا ہوں ، تو ہی اول ہے تجھ سے پہلے کوئی چیز نہیں ، تو ہی آخر ہے تیرے بعد کوئی چیز نہیں ، تو ہی غالب ہے تیرے اوپر کوئی چیز نہیں ، تو ہی باطن ہے اور تجھ سے کوئی چیز پوشیدہ نہیں ، مجھ سے قرض دور کر دے ، اور مجھے فقر سے غنی کر دے ۔‘‘ ابوداؤد ، ترمذی ، ابن ماجہ ۔ اور امام مسلم نے تھوڑے سے اختلاف کے ساتھ روایت کیا ہے ۔ صحیح ، رواہ ابوداؤد و الترمذی و ابن ماجہ و مسلم ۔
Abu Hurairah RA Nabi SAW se riwayat karte hain keh jab aap apne bistar par tashreef laate to aap yeh dua parha karte the: 'Ae Allah! Zameen o aasman ke Rab! Aur har cheez ke Rab! Daane aur guthli ko pharne wale! Taurat, Injeel aur Quran nazil karne wale! Main har shar wali cheez ke shar se jis ki tu peshani pakre hue hai panah chahta hun, tu hi awwal hai tujh se pehle koi cheez nahin, tu hi akhir hai tere baad koi cheez nahin, tu hi ghalib hai tere upar koi cheez nahin, tu hi batin hai aur tujh se koi cheez poshida nahin, mujh se qarz door kar de, aur mujhe faqr se ghani kar de.' Abu Dawood, Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah. Aur Imam Muslim ne thore se ikhtilaf ke sath riwayat kiya hai. Sahih, Rawahu Abu Dawood wa Tirmidhi wa Ibn Majah wa Muslim.
Abul Azhar al-Aimari told that when God’s messenger went to his bed at night he said, “In the name of God. I have laid down my side for God. O God, forgive me my sin, drive away my devil, free me from my responsibility, and place me in the highest assembly.”
Abu Dawud transmitted it.

ابوازہرا نماری ؓ روایت کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ جب اپنے بستر پر لیٹ جاتے تو یہ دعا پڑھتے تھے :’’ اللہ کے نام کے ساتھ ، میں نے اپنا پہلو اللہ کے لئے (بستر پر) لگایا ، اے اللہ میرے گناہ معاف کر دے ، میرے شیطان کو ذلیل کر دے ، مجھے تمام حقوق سے آزاد کر دے اور مجھے مجلس اعلیٰ میں شامل فرما ۔‘‘ اسنادہ صحیح ، رواہ ابوداؤد ۔
Abuzahra Namari RA riwayat karte hain, Rasool Allah SAW jab apne bistar par lait jate to yeh dua parhte thay: ''Allah ke naam ke sath, maine apna pehlu Allah ke liye (bistar par) lagaya, aye Allah mere gunah maaf kar de, mere shaitan ko zaleel kar de, mujhe tamam huqooq se azad kar de aur mujhe majlis aala mein shamil farma.'' Isnaadahu Sahih, Riwayat Abu Dawood.
Ibn ‘Umar told that when God’s messenger went to his bed at night he said, “Praise be to God who has given me sufficiency, has guarded me, given me food and drink, been most gracious to me, and given to me most lavishly. Praise be to God in every circumstance. O God, Lord and King of everything, God of everything, I seek refuge in Thee from hell.”
Abu Dawud transmitted it.

ابن عمر ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ جب اپنے بستر پر تشریف لاتے تو یہ دعا پڑھتے :’’ ہر قسم کی تعریف اللہ کے لئے ہے جس نے مجھے کفایت کیا ، مجھے مسکن عطا کیا ، مجھے کھلایا پلایا ، جس نے مجھ پر ان گنت انعام و احسان کیا ، جس نے مجھے عطا فرمایا تو بہت عطا فرمایا ، ہر حال میں اللہ کا شکر ہے ، اے اللہ ! ہر چیز کے رب اور اس کے مالک و بادشاہ اور ہر چیز کے معبود میں جہنم سے تیری پناہ چاہتا ہوں ۔‘‘ اسنادہ حسن ، رواہ ابوداؤد ۔
Ibne Umar RA se riwayat hai keh Rasool Allah SAW jab apne bistar par tashreef laate to yeh dua parhte: ''Har qisam ki tareef Allah ke liye hai jisne mujhe kafaayat kiya, mujhe maskan ata kiya, mujhe khilaya pilaya, jisne mujh par anginat inaam o ehsan kiya, jisne mujhe ata farmaya to bahut ata farmaya, har haal mein Allah ka shukar hai, Ae Allah! Har cheez ke Rabb aur uske malik o badshah aur har cheez ke mabood mein jahannam se teri panaah chahta hun.'' Isnaadahu hasan, riwayat Abu Dawood.
Buraida said that Khalid b. al-Walid complained to God’s messenger that he was afflicted by sleeplessness at night, and God’s Prophet told him to say when he went to his bed, “O God, Lord of the seven heavens and what they overshadow, Lord of the earths and what they carry, Lord of the devils and what they lead astray, be a Protector to me from the evil of Thy entire creation lest any of them do evil or act wrongfully to me. Strong is Thy protection and glorious is Thy praise. There is no god other than Thee. There is no god but Thee.”
Tirmidhi transmitted it, saying this is a tradition whoseisnadis not strong, and the traditions of al-Hakam b. Zuhair, the transmitter, are abandoned by some traditionists.

بُریدہ ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، خالد بن ولید ؓ نے نبی ﷺ سے شکایت کرتے ہوئے عرض کیا : اللہ کے رسول ! میں بے خوابی کی وجہ سے پوری رات نہیں سوتا ، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ جب تم اپنے بستر پر آؤ تو یہ دعا پڑھو :’’ اے اللہ ! ساتوں آسمانوں اور جن چیزوں پر انہوں نے سایہ کیا ہے ان کے رب ! زمینوں اور جن چیزوں کو انہوں نے اٹھا رکھا ہے ان کے رب ! شیاطین اور جن کو انہوں نے گمراہ کیا ہے ان کے رب ! اپنی ساری مخلوق کے شر سے ، یہ کہ ان میں سے کوئی مجھ پر زیادتی کرے ، مجھے پناہ دینے والا ہو جا ، تجھ سے پناہ لینے والا غالب آتا ہے ، تیری ثنا و تعریف بہت زیادہ ہے اور تیرے سوا کوئی معبود برحق نہیں ۔‘‘ ترمذی ، اور فرمایا اس روایت کی اسناد قوی نہیں ۔ حکم بن ظہیر راوی کی احادیث کو بعض محدثین نے ترک کیا ہے ۔ اسنادہ ضعیف جذا ، رواہ الترمذی ۔
Burayda bayan karte hain, Khalid bin Waleed ne Nabi se shikayat karte huye arz kiya: Allah ke Rasool! main bekhawabi ki wajah se poori raat nahi sota, Nabi ne farmaya: “Jab tum apne bistar par aao to yeh dua parho:” Aye Allah! saaton aasmanon aur jin cheezon par unhon ne saya kiya hai un ke Rab! zameenon aur jin cheezon ko unhon ne utha rakha hai un ke Rab! shayateen aur jin ko unhon ne gumrah kiya hai un ke Rab! apni saari makhlooq ke shar se, yeh keh in mein se koi mujh par zyadati kare, mujhe panah dene wala ho ja, tujh se panah lene wala ghalib aata hai, teri sana o tareef bahut zyada hai aur tere siwa koi mabood barhaq nahi. Tirmizi, aur farmaya is riwayat ki asnad qawi nahi. Hukm bin Zaheer raavi ki ahadees ko baaz muhaddiseen ne tark kiya hai. Isnada zaeef jada, Rawah al-Tirmizi.
Abu Malik reported God’s messenger as saying that when one got up in the morning he should say, "We have reached the morning, and in the morning the dominion belongs to God, the Lord of the universe, O God, I ask Thee for the good this day contains, for conquest, victory, light, blessing and guidance during it; and I seek refuge in Thee from the evil it contains and the evil contained in what comes after it." In the evening he should say the like.

ابومالک ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ جب تم میں سے کوئی صبح کرے تو یہ دعا کرے :’’ ہم نے اور تمام جہانوں کے پروردگار کے ملک نے صبح کی ، اے اللہ ! میں تجھ سے اس دن کی فتح و نصرت ، اس کی روشنی و برکت اور اس کی ہدایت کا سوال کرتا ہوں ، اور اس دن کے اور اس کے بعد والے دنوں کے شر سے تیری پناہ چاہتا ہوں ۔‘‘ پھر جب شام کرے تو بھی اسی طرح دعا پڑھے ۔‘‘ اسنادہ ضعیف ، رواہ ابوداؤد ۔
Abumalikk se riwayat hai ke Rasulullah ne farmaya: ''Jab tum mein se koi subah kare to yeh dua kare: ''Hum ne aur tamam jahaan ke Parvardigaar ke mulk ne subah ki, aye Allah! Main tujh se is din ki fatah o nusrat, is ki roshni o barkat aur is ki hidayat ka sawal karta hun, aur is din ke aur is ke baad wale dinon ke shar se teri panaah chahta hun.'' Phir jab sham kare to bhi isi tarah dua parhe.'' Isnaad zaeef, Riwayat Abu Dawood.
‘Abd ar-Rahman b. Abu Bakra said that he remarked to his father that he had heard him say every morning, “O God, grant me soundness in my body; O God, grant me soundness in my hearing; O God, grant me soundness in my sight. There is no god but Thee and that he repeated it three times morning and evening. He replied, "Sonny, I heard God’s messenger using these words as a supplication and I like to follow his practice."

عبدالرحمن بن ابوبکرہ بیان کرتے ہیں ، میں نے اپنے والد سے کہا : ابا جان ! میں آپ کو ہر روز یہ دعا پڑھتے ہوئے سنتا ہوں :’’ اے اللہ ! مجھے میرے بدن میں عافیت دے ، اے اللہ ! مجھے میرے کانوں میں عافیت دے ، اے اللہ ! مجھے میری آنکھوں میں عافیت دے ، تیرے سوا کوئی معبود برحق نہیں ۔‘‘ آپ صبح و شام تین تین مرتبہ انہیں پڑھتے ہیں ۔ تو انہوں نے فرمایا : میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو ان کلمات کے ذریعے دعا کرتے ہوئے سنا ہے لہذا میں آپ ﷺ کی سنت کی اقتدا کرنا چاہتا ہوں ۔ اسنادہ ضعیف ، رواہ ابوداؤد ۔
Abdulrehman bin abubakar bayan karte hain, main ne apne wald se kaha: abba jaan! main aap ko har roz ye dua parhte hue sunta hun: “ae Allah! mujhe mere badan mein aafiyat de, ae Allah! mujhe mere kaanon mein aafiyat de, ae Allah! mujhe meri aankhon mein aafiyat de, tere siwa koi mabood barhaq nahin.” aap subah-o-sham teen teen martaba inhen parhte hain. to unhon ne farmaya: main ne rasool Allah SAW ko in kalimat ke zariye dua karte hue suna hai lihaza main aap SAW ki sunnat ki iqtida karna chahta hun. isnaad zaeef, riwayat abu dawood.
‘Abdallah b. Abu Aufa told that God’s messenger said in the morning, "We have reached the morning, and in the morning the dominion belongs to God; praise is due to God; majesty and might belong to God; the creation, the command, night and day and what is at rest by night and day belong to God. O God, make the beginning of this day uprightness, its middle success, and its end attainment, O most merciful among those who show mercy."
Nawawi mentioned it inKitab al-adhkarby the transmission of Ibn as-Sunni.

عبداللہ بن ابی اوفی ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، جب رسول اللہ ﷺ صبح کرتے تو یہ دعا پڑھا کرتے تھے :’’ ہم نے اور اللہ کے ملک نے صبح کی ، ہر قسم کی تعریف اللہ کے لئے ہے ، کبریائی و عظمت اللہ کے لئے ہے ، خلق و امر ، لیل و نہار اور جو چیزیں ان میں ہیں اللہ کے لئے ہیں ، اے اللہ ! اس دن کے اول حصے کو صلاح بنا دے ، اس کے اوسط کو نجاح اور آخر کو فلاح بنا دے ، اے سب سے زیادہ رحم کرنے والے ۔‘‘ امام نووی نے ابن السنی کی روایت سے اسے کتاب الاذکار میں روایت کیا ہے ۔ اسنادہ ضعیف جذا ۔
Abdullah bin Abi Aufa RA bayan karte hain, jab Rasool Allah SAW subah karte to ye dua parha karte the: “Hum ne aur Allah ke mulk ne subah ki, har qisam ki tareef Allah ke liye hai, kibriya o azmat Allah ke liye hai, khalq o amr, layl o nahar aur jo cheezen in mein hain Allah ke liye hain, aye Allah! Is din ke awal hisse ko salah bana de, is ke ausat ko kamyabi aur akhir ko falah bana de, aye sab se ziada reham karne wale." Imam Nawawi ne Ibn al-Sani ki riwayat se ise Kitab al-Azkar mein riwayat kiya hai. Isnadahu zaeef jada.
‘Abd ar-Rahman b. Abza told that God's messenger used to say in the morning, “We have reached the morning following the original religion of Islam, the assertion of God’s unity, the religion of our Prophet Muhammad, and the rite of our father Abraham who was ahanifand was not one of the polytheists." [cf. Qur’an, ii. 135; iii, 95; vi, 161; xvi, 123.]
Ahmad and Darimi transmitted it.

عبدالرحمن بن ابزی ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ جب صبح کرتے تو یہ دعا کیا کرتے تھے :’’ ہم نے فطرتِ اسلام ، کلمہ اخلاص ، اپنے نبی محمد ﷺ کے دین اور اپنے باپ ابراہیم جو کہ یکسو تھے ، مشرکین میں سے نہیں تھے ، کی ملت پر صبح کی ۔‘‘ اسنادہ حسن ، رواہ احمد و الدارمی ۔
Abdulrehman bin Abza RA bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah SAW jab subah karte to ye dua kiya karte thy: ''Hum ne fitrat e Islam, kalma ikhlas, apne Nabi Muhammad SAW ke deen aur apne baap Ibrahim jo keh yaksu thy, mushrikeen mein se nahi thy, ki millat par subah ki.'' Isnaadahu hasan, riwaahu Ahmad wa Aldaarmi.
