Sunan an-Nasa'i 3966
Anas bin Malik (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘I have been commanded to fight the idolaters until they bear witness to َُ سُولُهَّ ُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَ رالَ إِلَهَ إِالَّ َّللا [there is no God except Allah and that Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) is His servant and Apostle]. If they bear witness that there is no God but Allah and Muhammad ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) is His servant and Apostle and they pray as we pray and face our Qiblah, and eat our slaughtered animals, then their blood and wealth becomes forbidden to us except for a right that is due.’

انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم ﷺ نے فرمایا: مجھے حکم دیا گیا ہے کہ میں کفار و مشرکین سے اس وقت تک جنگ کروں جب تک کہ وہ گواہی نہ دیں کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود برحق نہیں اور محمد ﷺ اللہ کے بندے اور اس کے رسول ہیں، پھر جب وہ گواہی دے دیں کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود برحق نہیں اور محمد ﷺ اس کے بندے اور رسول ہیں اور وہ ہماری نماز کی طرح نماز پڑھنے لگیں، ہمارے قبلے کی طرف رخ کریں اور ہمارے ذبیحے کھانے لگیں تو اب ان کے خون اور ان کے مال ہمارے اوپر حرام ہو گئے الا یہ کہ ( جان و مال کے ) کسی حق کے بدلے میں ہو ( تو اور بات ہے ) ۔
Anas bin Malik (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke Nabi-e-Akram (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Mujhe hukm diya gaya hai ke main kufar o mushrikin se is waqt tak jang karoon jab tak ke woh gawahi na dein ke Allah ke siwa koi mabood barhaq nahin aur Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Allah ke bande aur uske rasool hain, phir jab woh gawahi de dein ke Allah ke siwa koi mabood barhaq nahin aur Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) uske bande aur rasool hain aur woh hamari namaz ki tarah namaz padhne lagen, hamare qible ki taraf rukh karen aur hamare zabeehe khane lagen to ab unke khoon aur unke maal hamare oopar haram ho gaye ala yeh ke (jan o maal ke) kisi haq ke badle mein ho (to aur baat hai)
Anas bin Malik (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘I have been commanded to fight the idolaters until they bear witness to َُ سُولُهَّ ُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَ رالَ إِلَهَ إِالَّ َّللا [there is no God except Allah and that Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) is His servant and Apostle]. If they bear witness that there is no God but Allah and Muhammad ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) is His servant and Apostle and they and they face our Qiblah, eat our slaughtered animals, and pray as we do, then their blood and wealth become forbidden except for a right that is due, and they will have the same rights and obligations as the Muslims.’

انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: مجھے حکم دیا گیا ہے کہ میں لوگوں سے اس وقت تک جنگ کروں جب تک کہ وہ گواہی نہ دیں کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی حقیقی معبود نہیں، اور یہ کہ محمد اللہ کے رسول ہیں۔ پھر جب وہ گواہی دیں کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی حقیقی معبود نہیں اور یہ کہ محمد اللہ کے رسول ہیں اور ہمارے قبلے کی طرف رخ کریں اور ہمارا ذبیحہ کھائیں اور ہماری نماز پڑھیں تو ان کے خون اور ان کے مال ہم پر حرام ہو گئے مگر ( جان و مال کے ) کسی حق کے بدلے، ان کے لیے وہ سب کچھ ہے جو مسلمانوں کے لیے ہے، اور ان پر وہ سب ( کچھ واجب ) ہے جو مسلمانوں پر ہے ۔
Ins ibn Malik (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se riwayat hai ke Rasulullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: mujhe hukm diya gaya hai ke main logon se is waqt tak jang karun jab tak ke woh gawahi na dein ke Allah ke siwa koi haqiqi ma'bud nahi, aur yeh ke Muhammad Allah ke rasul hain. Phir jab woh gawahi dein ke Allah ke siwa koi haqiqi ma'bud nahi aur yeh ke Muhammad Allah ke rasul hain aur hamare qibla ki taraf rukh karen aur hamara zabih khane aur hamari namaz padhen to un ke khun aur un ke mal hum par haram ho gaye magar ( jaan o mal ke ) kisi haq ke badle, un ke liye woh sab kuchh hai jo musalmano ke liye hai, aur un par woh sab ( kuchh wajib ) hai jo musalmano par hai.
Maimun bin Siyah asked Anas bin Malik (رضي الله تعالى عنه), ‘O Abu Hamzah (رضي الله تعالى عنه), what makes the blood and wealth of a Muslim forbidden?’ He said, ‘whoever bears witness to
َلاَُ سُولُهَّ ُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَ رإِلَهَ إِالَّ َّللا [there is no God except Allah and that Muhammad ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) is His servant and Apostle], faces our Qiblah, prays as we pray, and eats our slaughtered animals, he is a Muslim, and has the same rights and obligations as the Muslims.’

میمون بن سیاہ نے انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے پوچھا: ابوحمزہ! کس چیز سے مسلمان کی جان، اور اس کا مال حرام ہو جاتے ہیں؟ کہا: جو گواہی دے کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی حقیقی معبود نہیں اور محمد اللہ کے رسول ہیں، اور ہمارے قبلے کی طرف رخ کرے، ہماری طرح نماز پڑھے اور ہمارا ذبیحہ کھائے تو وہ مسلمان ہے، اسے وہ سارے حقوق ملیں گے جو مسلمانوں کے ہیں اور اس پر ہر وہ چیز لازم ہو گی جو مسلمانوں پر ہوتی ہے۔
Memon bin Siyah ne Anas bin Malik (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se poocha: Abu Hamza! Kis chiz se musalman ki jaan, aur is ka maal haram ho jate hain? Kaha: Jo gawahi de ke Allah ke siwa koi haqiqi ma'bud nahin aur Muhammad Allah ke rasul hain, aur hamare qible ki taraf rukh kare, hamari tarah namaz padhe aur hamara zabih khane to woh musalman hai, use woh sare huqooq milenge jo musalmanon ke hain aur is par har woh cheez lazim ho gi jo musalmanon par hoti hai.
Anas bin Malik (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated, ‘when the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) died, the 'Arabs apostatized, so 'Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said, ‘O Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه), how can you fight the 'Arabs?' Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said, 'the Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘I have been commanded to fight the idolaters until they bear witness to
َالَ إِلَهَُ سُولُهَّ ُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَ رإِالَّ َّللا [there is no God except Allah and that Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) is His servant and Apostle] and they establish Salah and pay Zakah.’ By Allah, if they withhold from me a young goat that they used to give to the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), I will fight them for it.' 'Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said: 'By Allah, as soon as I realized how certain Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) was, I knew that it was the truth.'

انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ جب رسول اللہ ﷺ کا انتقال ہوا تو بعض عرب مرتد ہو گئے، عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: ابوبکر! آپ عربوں سے کیسے جنگ کریں گے؟ ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے تو فرمایا ہے: مجھے حکم دیا گیا ہے کہ میں لوگوں سے اس وقت تک جنگ کروں جب تک کہ وہ گواہی نہ دیں کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی حقیقی معبود نہیں اور یہ کہ میں اللہ کا رسول ہوں، اور وہ نماز قائم نہ کریں اور زکاۃ نہ دیں، اللہ کی قسم! اگر وہ بکری کا ایک بچہ ۱؎ بھی روکیں گے جو وہ رسول اللہ ﷺ کو دیا کرتے تھے تو میں اس کے لیے ان سے جنگ کروں گا ۔ عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں: جب میں نے ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ کی رائے دیکھی کہ انہیں اس پر شرح صدر ہے تو میں نے جان لیا کہ یہی حق ہے ۲؎۔
Anas bin Malik (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke jab Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ka intikal hua to baaz arab murtad ho gaye, Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne kaha: Abu Bakr! Aap arabon se kaise jang karenge? Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne kaha ke Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne to farmaaya hai: Mujhe hukm diya gaya hai ke main logon se is waqt tak jang karun jab tak ke woh gawahi na dein ke Allah ke siwa koi haqiqi ma'bud nahin aur yeh ke main Allah ka rasool hoon, aur woh namaz qaim na karen aur zakat na dein, Allah ki qasam! Agar woh bakri ka ek baccha bhi rokhenge jo woh Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko diya karte the to main is ke liye un se jang karunga. Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain: Jab main ne Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ki rai dekhi ke unhen is par shur-e-sadr hai to main ne jaan liya ke yahi haq hai.
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَاصِمٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عِمْرَانُ أَبُو الْعَوَّامِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ لَمَّا تُوُفِّيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ارْتَدَّتِ الْعَرَبُ فَقَالَ عُمَرُ يَا أَبَا بَكْرٍ كَيْفَ تُقَاتِلُ الْعَرَبَ فَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ إِنَّمَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أُقَاتِلَ النَّاسَ حَتَّى يَشْهَدُوا أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَأَنِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ وَيُقِيمُوا الصَّلاَةَ وَيُؤْتُوا الزَّكَاةَ " . وَاللَّهِ لَوْ مَنَعُونِي عَنَاقًا مِمَّا كَانُوا يُعْطُونَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لَقَاتَلْتُهُمْ عَلَيْهِ . قَالَ عُمَرُ فَلَمَّا رَأَيْتُ رَأْىَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ قَدْ شُرِحَ عَلِمْتُ أَنَّهُ الْحَقُّ .
Sunan an-Nasa'i 3970
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that when the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) died and Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) became the Khalifah, and some of the 'Arabs reverted to Kufr. 'Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said to Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) 'how can you fight the people when the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, I have been commanded to fight the people until they say
ُ َّالَ إِلَهَ إِالَّ َّللا [there is no God but Allah]. Whoever says
ُ َّالَ إِلَهَ إِالَّ َّللا his wealth and his life are safe from me except for a right that is due, and his reckoning will be with Allah.?' Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said, 'by Allah, I will fight whoever separates Salah and Zakah, for Zakah is the compulsory right to be taken from wealth. By Allah, if they withhold from me a rope that they used to give to the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), I will fight them for withholding it.' 'Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه), said, 'by Allah, as soon as I realized that Allah has expanded the chest of Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) for fighting, I knew that it was the truth.'

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ جب رسول اللہ ﷺ اللہ تعالیٰ کو پیارے ہو گئے اور ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ آپ کے خلیفہ بنے اور عربوں میں سے جن لوگوں کو کافر ہونا تھا کافر ہو گئے تو عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ سے کہا: آپ لوگوں سے کیسے لڑیں گے؟ حالانکہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا ہے: مجھے حکم دیا گیا کہ میں لوگوں سے اس وقت تک جنگ کروں جب تک کہ وہ لا الٰہ الا اللہ نہ کہیں، پس جس نے لا الٰہ الا اللہ کہا اس نے اپنا مال اور اپنی جان مجھ سے محفوظ کر لی مگر اس کے ( یعنی جان و مال کے ) حق کے بدلے، اور اس کا حساب اللہ پر ہے ۔ ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: اللہ کی قسم! میں ہر اس شخص سے جنگ کروں گا جو نماز اور زکاۃ میں فرق کرے گا، اس لیے کہ زکاۃ مال کا حق ہے۔ اللہ کی قسم! اگر یہ لوگ رسی کا ایک ٹکڑا ۱؎ بھی جسے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو دیتے تھے مجھے دینے سے روکیں گے تو میں اس کے نہ دینے پر ان سے جنگ کروں گا ۔ عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں: اللہ کی قسم! یہ اس کے سوا کچھ نہ تھا کہ میں نے سمجھا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ کے سینے کو جنگ کے لیے کھول دیا ہے، اور میں نے یہ جان لیا کہ یہی حق ہے۔
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke jab Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Allah Ta'ala ko pyare ho gaye aur Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) aap ke Khalifa bane aur Arabon mein se jin logo ko kaafir hona tha kaafir ho gaye to Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se kaha: aap logo se kaise larain ge? Halanki Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya hai: mujhe hukm diya gaya ke main logo se is waqt tak jang karoon jab tak ke woh La ilaha illallah nah kahen, pas jis ne La ilaha illallah kaha usne apna maal aur apni jaan mujh se mahfooz kar li magar us ke ( yani jaan o maal ke) haq ke badle, aur us ka hisaab Allah per hai. Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne kaha: Allah ki qasam! Main har us shakhs se jang karoon ga jo namaz aur zakaat mein farq karega, is liye ke zakaat maal ka haq hai. Allah ki qasam! Agar yeh log rasi ka ek tukra 1؎ bhi jise Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko dete the mujhe dene se rokain ge to main us ke na dene per un se jang karoon ga. Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain: Allah ki qasam! Yeh is ke siva kuchh nah tha ke main ne samjha ke Allah Ta'ala ne Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke sine ko jang ke liye khol diya hai, aur main ne yeh jaan liya ke yahi haq hai.
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, 'I have been commanded to fight the people until they say -
ُ َّالَ إِلَهَ إِالَّ َّللا [there is no God but Allah]. If they say it, then their blood and their wealth are safe from me, except for a right that is due, and their reckoning will be with Allah.' When the people apostatized, 'Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said to Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) 'will you fight them when you heard the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) say such and such?' He said, 'by Allah, I do not separate Salah and Zakah, and I will fight whoever separates them.' So we fought alongside him, and we realized that that was the right thing.

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: مجھے حکم دیا گیا ہے کہ میں لوگوں سے اس وقت تک جنگ کروں جب تک کہ وہ لا الٰہ الا اللہ نہ کہیں، جب وہ لوگ یہ کہنے لگیں تو اب انہوں نے اپنے خون، اپنے مال کو مجھ سے محفوظ کر لیا مگر ( جان و مال کے ) حق کے بدلے، اور ان کا حساب اللہ پر ہے، پھر جب «ردت» کا واقعہ ہوا ( مرتد ہونے والے مرتد ہو گئے ) تو عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ سے کہا: کیا آپ ان سے جنگ کریں گے حالانکہ آپ نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو ایسا اور ایسا فرماتے سنا ہے؟ تو وہ بولے: اللہ کی قسم! میں نماز اور زکاۃ میں تفریق نہیں کروں گا، اور میں ہر اس شخص سے جنگ کروں گا جو ان کے درمیان تفریق کرے گا، پھر ہم ان کے ساتھ لڑے اور اسی چیز کو ہم نے ٹھیک اور درست پایا۔ ابوعبدالرحمٰن نسائی کہتے ہیں: زہری سے روایت کرنے والے سفیان قوی نہیں ہیں اور ان سے مراد سفیان بن حسین ہیں ۔
Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) Kehte Hain Ke Rasulullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Ne Farmaya: Mujhe Hukm Diya Gaya Hai Ke Main Logon Se Is Waqt Tak Jang Karun Jab Tak Ke Woh La Illaha Illallah Na Kahen, Jab Woh Log Yeh Kahne Lagi To Ab Unhon Ne Apne Khoon, Apne Mal Ko Mujh Se Mahfooz Kar Liya Magar ( Jaan O Mal Ke ) Haq Ke Badle, Aur In Ka Hisab Allah Par Hai, Phir Jab «Raddat» Ka Waqia Hua ( Murtad Hone Wale Murtad Ho Gaye ) To Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) Ne Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) Se Kaha: Kya Aap In Se Jang Karenge Halankeh Aap Ne Rasulallah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Ko Aisa Aur Aisa Farmate Suna Hai? To Woh Bole: Allah Ki Qasam! Main Namaz Aur Zakat Mein Tafreeq Nahin Karunga, Aur Main Har Us Shakhse Se Jang Karunga Jo In Ke Darmiyan Tafreeq Karega, Phir Hum In Ke Sath Lade Aur Isi Cheez Ko Hum Ne Theek Aur Durust Paye. Abu Abdur Rahman Nisai Kehte Hain: Zahri Se Riwayat Karne Wale Sufiyan Qawi Nahin Hain Aur In Se Murad Sufiyan Bin Husain Hain ۱؎.
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, 'I have been commanded to fight the people until they say -
ُ َّالَ إِلَهَ إِالَّ َّللا [there is no God but Allah]. Whoever says
ُ َّالَ إِلَهَ إِالَّ َّللا, his wealth and his life are safe from me except for a right that is due, and his reckoning will be with Allah.’

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: مجھے حکم دیا گیا ہے کہ میں لوگوں سے اس وقت تک جنگ کروں جب تک کہ وہ لا الٰہ الا اللہ نہ کہیں، چنانچہ جس نے لا الٰہ الا اللہ کہہ لیا اس نے مجھ سے اپنا مال اور اپنی جان محفوظ کر لیا مگر ( جان و مال کے ) حق کے بدلے، اور اس کا حساب اللہ پر ہے۔ شعیب بن ابی حمزہ نے اپنی روایت میں دونوں حدیثوں کو جمع کر دیا ہے ( یعنی: واقعہ ردت اور مرفوع حدیث ) ۔
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi wa Sallam ne farmaya: Mujhe hukm diya gaya hai ke main logoon se is waqt tak jang karun jab tak ke woh la ilaha illallah nah kahen, chananche jisne la ilaha illallah kah liya usne mujh se apna maal aur apni jaan mahfooz kar liya magar ( jaan o maal ke ) haq ke badle, aur uska hisaab Allah par hai. Shuaib bin Abi Hamza ne apni riwayat mein dono hadithon ko jam kar diya hai ( yani: waqia raddat aur marfoo hadiths ) .
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that when the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) died, and Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) (became Khalifah) after him, the 'Arabs reverted to Kufr. 'Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said, 'O Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه), how can you fight the people when the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, 'I have been commanded to fight the people until they say -

Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said, 'I will fight whoever separates Salah and Zakah, for Zakah is the compulsory right to be taken from wealth. By Allah, if they withhold from me a young goat that they used to give to the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), I will fight them for withholding it.' 'Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said, 'by Allah, as soon as I saw that Allah has expanded the chest of Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) for fighting, I knew that it was the truth.'

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ جب رسول اللہ ﷺ کی وفات ہوئی اور آپ کے بعد ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ خلیفہ ہوئے اور عرب کے جن لوگوں نے کفر ( ارتداد ) کی گود میں جانا تھا چلے گئے تو عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: ابوبکر! آپ لوگوں سے کیسے جنگ کریں گے؟ حالانکہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا ہے: مجھے حکم دیا گیا ہے کہ میں لوگوں سے اس وقت تک جنگ کروں جب تک کہ وہ لا الٰہ إلا اللہ نہ کہیں، تو جس نے لا الٰہ الا اللہ کہا اس نے مجھ سے اپنا مال، اپنی جان محفوظ کر لیا، مگر ( جان و مال کے ) حق کے بدلے میں، اور اس کا حساب اللہ پر ہے ۔ ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ بولے: میں ہر اس شخص سے ضرور لڑوں گا جو نماز اور زکاۃ میں تفریق کرے گا کیونکہ زکاۃ یقیناً مال کا حق ہے، اللہ کی قسم! اگر ان لوگوں نے بکری کا ایک بچہ بھی مجھے دینے سے روکا جسے یہ رسول اللہ ﷺ کو دیتے تھے تو میں اس کے روکنے پر ان سے جنگ کروں گا۔ عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں: اللہ کی قسم! اس کے سوا کچھ نہ تھا کہ میں نے دیکھا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ کے سینے کو جنگ کے لیے کھول دیا ہے، تو میں نے جان لیا کہ یہی حق ہے۔

Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) Kehtay Hain: Allah Ki Qasam! Is Kay Siwa Kuchh Nah Tha Kay Mein Nay Dekha Kay Allah Ta'ala Nay Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) Kay Seenay Ko Jang Kay Liye Khol Diya Hai, To Mein Nay Jan Liya Kay Yahi Haq Hai.
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, 'I have been commanded to fight the people until they say -
ُ َّالَ إِلَهَ إِالَّ َّللا [there is no God but Allah]. Once they said that, their wealth and their lives are safe from me, except for a right that is due, and their reckoning will be with Allah, the Mighty and Sublime?'

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: مجھے حکم دیا گیا ہے کہ میں لوگوں سے جنگ کروں، یہاں تک کہ وہ لا الٰہ الا اللہ کہیں تو جس نے یہ کہہ دیا، اس نے اپنی جان اور اپنا مال مجھ سے محفوظ کر لیا مگر ( جان و مال کے ) حق کے بدلے، اور اس کا حساب اللہ پر ہے ۔ ولید بن مسلم نے عثمان کی مخالفت کی ہے ۔
Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) bayan karte hain ke Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Mujhe hukm diya gaya hai ke main logon se jang karun, yahaan tak ke woh La ilaha illallah kahen to jis ne yeh keh diya, us ne apni jaan aur apna maal mujh se mahfooz kar liya magar (jaan o maal ke) haq ke badle, aur is ka hisaab Allah per hai. Walid bin Muslim ne Usman ki mukhalafat ki hai
Abu Hurairah narrated, ‘when Abu Bakr decided to fight with them, 'Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said, 'O Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه), how can you fight the people when the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, 'I have been commanded to fight the people until they say -
ُ َّالَ إِلَهَ إِالَّ َّللا [there is no God but Allah]. Once they said that their blood and their wealth will be safe from me except for a right that is due.?' Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said, 'I will fight whoever separates prayer and Zakah. By Allah, if they withhold from me a young goat that they used to give to the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم), I will fight them for withholding it.' 'Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said, 'by Allah, as soon as I realized that Allah has expanded the chest of Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) to fight them, I knew that it was the truth.'

ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ( ارتداد کا فتنہ ظاہر ہونے پر ) ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ نے ان مرتدین سے جنگ کرنے کی ٹھان لی، تو عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: ابوبکر! آپ لوگوں سے کیوں کر لڑیں گے حالانکہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا ہے: مجھے حکم دیا گیا ہے کہ میں لوگوں سے لڑوں جب تک کہ وہ لا الٰہ الا اللہ نہ کہیں، جب وہ یہ کہنے لگیں تو ان کے خون، ان کے مال مجھ سے محفوظ ہو گئے مگر ( جان و مال کے ) حق کے بدلے ، ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: میں ہر اس شخص سے لازماً جنگ کروں گا جو نماز اور زکاۃ کے درمیان تفریق کرے گا۔ اللہ کی قسم! اگر یہ لوگ مجھ سے بکری کا ایک بچہ بھی روکیں گے جسے وہ رسول اللہ ﷺ کو دیا کرتے تھے تو اسے روکنے پر ان سے جنگ کروں گا ۔ عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں: یہ اس کے سوا کچھ نہ تھا کہ میں نے دیکھا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ کے سینے کو ان مرتدین سے جنگ کرنے کے لیے کھول دیا ہے، تو میں نے جان لیا کہ یہی حق ہے۔
Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke ( irtidad ka fitnah zahir hone par ) Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne in murtadin se jang karne ki than li, to Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne kaha: Abu Bakr! aap logo se kyon kar larain ge halanki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya hai: mujhe hukm diya gaya hai ke main logo se ladung jab tak ke wo la ilaha illallahu nah kahen, jab wo ye kahne lagen to un ke khoon, un ke mal mujh se mahkuf ho gaye magar ( jan o mal ke ) haqq ke badle, Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne kaha: main har us shakhs se laazman jang karunga jo namaz aur zakat ke darmiyan tafriq karega. Allah ki qasam! agar ye log mujh se bakri ka ek baccha bhi rokenge jise wo Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko diya karte the to ise rokne par un se jang karunga. Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain: ye is ke siwa kuchh nah tha ke maine dekha ke Allah Ta'ala ne Abu Bakr (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke sine ko in murtadin se jang karne ke liye khol diya hai, to maine jaan liya ke yahi haqq hai.
Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, 'I have been commanded to fight the people until they say -
ُ َّالَ إِلَهَ إِالَّ َّللا [there is no God but Allah]. Once they said that, then their blood and wealth are prohibited for me, except for a right that is due, and their reckoning will be with Allah, the Mighty and Sublime."

Abu Hurayrah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke Rasul-Allah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam ne farmaya: Mujhe hukm diya gaya hai ke main logoon se is waqt tak jang karun jab tak ke woh La ilaha illa Allah na kahen, jab woh ise kah lein to unhon ne mujh se apna khoon aur apna maal mahfooz kar liye magar ( jan o maal ke ) haq ke badle aur is ka hisaab Allah Ta'ala par hoga.

Abu Hurayrah Radiyallahu Anhu kehte hain ke Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Hum logon se us waqt tak jang karenge jab tak ke woh La ilaha illallah na kahen, jab woh La ilaha illallah kah len to hum per un ke khoon aur un ke maal haram ho gaye magar is ke (jaan o maal ke) haq ke badle, aur un ka hisaab Allahu Ta'ala per hai.
An-Nu'man bin Bashir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated, ‘we were with the Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) and a man came and whispered to him. He said, 'Kill him.' Then he said, 'does he bear witness to -
ُ َّالَ إِلَهَ إِالَّ َّللا [there is no God but Allah]. He said: 'yes, but he is only saying it to protect himself.' The Apostle of Allah )s) said, 'do not kill him, for I have been commanded to fight the people until they say -
ُ َّالَ إِلَهَ إِالَّ َّللا [there is no God but Allah], and if they say it, their blood and their wealth are safe from me, except for a right that is due, and their reckoning will be with Allah.'

نعمان بن بشیر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ ہم نبی اکرم ﷺ کے ساتھ تھے کہ ایک شخص نے آ کر آپ سے رازدارانہ گفتگو کی۔ آپ نے فرمایا: اسے قتل کر دو ، پھر آپ نے فرمایا: کیا وہ گواہی دیتا ہے کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی حقیقی معبود نہیں؟ کہا: جی ہاں، مگر اپنے کو بچانے کے لیے وہ ایسا کہتا ہے، پھر رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: اسے قتل نہ کرو۔ اس لیے کہ مجھے حکم دیا گیا ہے کہ میں لوگوں سے جنگ کروں جب تک کہ وہ لا الٰہ الا اللہ نہ کہیں: جب وہ اسے کہہ لیں تو انہوں نے مجھ سے اپنے خون اور اپنے مال کو محفوظ کر لیا، مگر اس کے ( جان و مال کے ) حق کے بدلے، اور ان کا حساب اللہ تعالیٰ پر ہے ۔
Na'man bin Bashir ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a kehte hain ke hum Nabi-e-Akram (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath the ke aik shakhs ne aa kar aap se razdaranah guftgu ki. Aap ne farmaya: Isay qatl kar do, phir aap ne farmaya: Kya woh gawahi deta hai ke Allah ke siwa koi haqiqi ma'bud nahin? Kaha: Ji han, magar apne ko bachane ke liye woh aisa kehta hai, phir Rasoolullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Isay qatl na karo. Is liye ke mujhe hukm diya gaya hai ke main logoon se jang karon jab tak ke woh La ilaha illallah na kahen: Jab woh isay keh len to unhon ne mujh se apne khun aur apne maal ko mahkuf kar lia, magar is ke (jan o maal ke) haq ke badle, aur un ka hisab Allah Ta'ala par hai.
An-Nu'man bin Saalim (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that a man said to him, ‘the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) came to us while we were in a tent inside the Masjid of Al-Madinah, and he said to us, 'it has been revealed to me that I should fight the people until they say -
ُ َّالَ إِلَهَ إِالَّ َّللا [there is no God but Allah]. A similar narration.

ایک شخص ۱؎ کہتے ہیں کہ ہمارے پاس رسول اللہ ﷺ آئے اور ہم مدینے کی مسجد کے ایک خیمے میں تھے، وہاں آپ نے فرمایا: میرے پاس وحی آئی ہے کہ میں لوگوں سے اس وقت تک جنگ کروں جب تک کہ وہ لا الٰہ الا اللہ نہ کہیں … آگے حدیث اسی طرح ہے جیسی اوپر گزری۔
aik shakhs 1؎ kehte hain ke hamare pas rasoolullah salallahu alaihi wasallam aaye aur hum madine ki masjid ke ek khaime mein the, wahan aap ne farmaya: mere pas wahi aayi hai ke main logon se is waqt tak jang karun jab tak ke woh la ilaha illallah na kahen ... aage hadees isi tarah hai jaisi oopar guzri.
An-Nu'man bin Saalim (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated, ‘I heard Aws (رضي الله تعالى عنه) saying, ‘the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) came to us when we were in a tent.' And he quoted the same Hadith.

اوس رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہمارے پاس رسول اللہ ﷺ تشریف لائے اور ہم لوگ خیمہ میں تھے پھر مذکورہ حدیث بیان کی۔
Us (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke hamare pas Rasool Allah SAllAllahu alayhi wa sallam tashreef laye aur hum log khayma mein the phir mazkoor hadees bayan ki.
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَعْيَنَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سِمَاكٌ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَوْسًا، يَقُولُ دَخَلَ عَلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَنَحْنُ فِي قُبَّةٍ وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ .
Sunan an-Nasa'i 3982
An-Nu'man bin Saalim (رضئ هللا تعالی عنہ) narrated, ‘I heard Aws (رضئ هللا تعالی عنہ) saying, 'I came to the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) among the delegation of Thaqif and I was with him in a tent. Everyone in the tent had gone to sleep except him, and a man came and whispered to him, and he said, go and kill him. Then he said, does he not bear witness to - َّالَ إِلَهَ إِال ُ َّاللَّ [there is no God but Allah] and that I am the Apostle of Allah? He said, he does bear witness to that. The Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, leave him alone. Then he said, I have been commanded to fight the people until they say -
ُ َّالَ إِلَهَ إِالَّ َّللا [there is no God but Allah]. If they say it, then their blood and their wealth become forbidden to me, except for a right that is due. (One of the narrators) Muhammad said, I said to Shu'bah, 'doesn't the Hadith contain, does he not testify -
ُ َّالَ إِلَهَ إِالَّ َّللا [there is no God but Allah]. and that I am the Apostle of Allah?' He said, 'I think it is both, but I do not know.'

اوس رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں قبیلہ ثقیف کے ایک وفد میں رسول اللہ ﷺ کے پاس آیا، میں آپ کے ساتھ ایک خیمہ میں تھا، میرے اور آپ کے علاوہ خیمے میں موجود سبھی لوگ سو گئے۔ اتنے میں ایک شخص نے آپ سے چپکے سے کہا تو آپ نے فرمایا: جاؤ اسے قتل کر دو ۱؎، پھر آپ نے فرمایا: کیا یہ گواہی نہیں دیتا کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود برحق نہیں اور میں اللہ کا رسول ہوں ۔ اس نے کہا: وہ گواہی دے رہا ہے۔ آپ نے فرمایا: اسے چھوڑ دو پھر فرمایا: مجھے حکم دیا گیا ہے کہ میں لوگوں سے اس وقت تک جنگ کروں جب تک کہ وہ «لا إله إلا اللہ» نہ کہیں: جب وہ یہ کہنے لگ جائیں تو ان کے خون، ان کے مال حرام ہو گئے مگر اس کے ( جان و مال کے ) حق کے بدلے ۔ محمد ( محمد بن جعفر غندر ) کہتے ہیں: میں نے شعبہ سے کہا: کیا حدیث میں یہ نہیں ہے «أليس يشهد أن لا إله إلا اللہ وأني رسول اللہ» ؟ وہ بولے: میرے خیال میں «أني رسول اللہ» کا جملہ «لا إله إلا اللہ» کے ساتھ ہے، مجھے معلوم نہیں۔
Us (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke main qabil-e Saqif ke ek wafd mein rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke pas aya, main aap ke sath ek khayma mein tha, mere aur aap ke alawa khayme mein maujood sabhi log so gaye. Itne mein ek shakhs ne aap se chupke se kaha to aap ne farmaya: Jao isse qatl kar do 1, phir aap ne farmaya: Kya yeh gawahi nahin deta ke Allah ke siwa koi ma'bud bar haq nahin aur main Allah ka rasool hun. Us ne kaha: Woh gawahi de raha hai. Aap ne farmaya: Isse chhod do phir farmaya: Mujhe hukm diya gaya hai ke main logoon se us waqt tak jung karon jab tak ke woh «la ilaha illa Allah» nahin kahen: Jab woh yeh kahne lag jaen to un ke khoon, un ke mal haram ho gaye magar us ke ( jaan o mal ke ) haq ke badle. Muhammad ( Muhammad bin Ja'far Ghunder ) kehte hain: Main ne Sha'ba se kaha: Kya hadees mein yeh nahin hai «Alis yashhad an la ilaha illa Allah wa ani rasool Allah» ? Woh bole: Mere khyal mein «wa ani rasool Allah» ka jumla «la ilaha illa Allah» ke sath hai, mujhe ma'loom nahin.
An-Nu'man bin Saalim (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated, Amr bin Aws (رضي الله تعالى عنه) told him that his father Aws (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said, ‘the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, 'I have been commanded to fight the people until they bear witness to -
ُ َّالَ إِلَهَ إِالَّ َّللا [there is no God but Allah] then their blood and their wealth become forbidden to me, except for a right that is due.’

اوس رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: مجھے حکم دیا گیا ہے کہ میں لوگوں سے اس وقت تک جنگ کروں جب تک کہ وہ گواہی نہ دیں کہ اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود برحق نہیں ( جب وہ اس کی گواہی دے دیں گے تو ) پھر ان کے خون اور ان کے مال حرام ہو جائیں گے مگر اس کے ( جان و مال کے ) حق کے بدلے ۔
Abu Idris (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that he heard Muawiya (رضي الله تعالى عنه) delivering the Khutbah, and he narrated a few Ahadith from the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم).’ He said, ‘I heard him delivering a Khutbah and he said, 'I heard the Apostle of Allah ( صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) say, every sin may be forgiven by Allah except a man who kills a believer deliberately, or a man who dies as a disbeliever.'

ابوادریس خولانی کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے معاویہ رضی اللہ عنہ کو خطبہ دیتے ہوئے سنا ( انہوں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ سے بہت کم حدیثیں روایت کی ہیں ) کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا: ممکن ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ ہر گناہ معاف کر دے سوائے اس ( گناہ ) کے کہ آدمی مومن کو جان بوجھ کر قتل کرے، یا وہ شخص جو کافر ہو کر مرے ۔
Abawadris Khulani kehte hain ke main ne Muawiyah radhiallahu anhu ko khutbah dete huve suna (unhon ne Rasoolallah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se bahut kam hadeethain riwayat ki hain) kehte hain ke main ne Rasoolallah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko farmate huve suna: mumkin hai ke Allah Ta'ala har gunaah maaf kar de siwaye is (gunah) ke ke aadmi momin ko jaan boojh kar qatl kare, ya woh shakhs jo kaafir ho kar mare 1؎.
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا صَفْوَانُ بْنُ عِيسَى، عَنْ ثَوْرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عَوْنٍ، عَنْ أَبِي إِدْرِيسَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ مُعَاوِيَةَ، يَخْطُبُ - وَكَانَ قَلِيلَ الْحَدِيثِ - عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ سَمِعْتُهُ يَخْطُبُ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " كُلُّ ذَنْبٍ عَسَى اللَّهُ أَنْ يَغْفِرَهُ إِلاَّ الرَّجُلُ يَقْتُلُ الْمُؤْمِنَ مُتَعَمِّدًا أَوِ الرَّجُلُ يَمُوتُ كَافِرًا " .
Sunan an-Nasa'i 3985
Abdullah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) narrated that the Apostle of Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) said, ‘no person is killed wrongfully, but a share of responsibility for his blood will be upon the first son of Adam, because he was the first one to set the precedence, of killing.’

عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم ﷺ نے فرمایا: ناحق جو بھی خون ہوتا ہے اس کے گناہ کا ایک حصہ آدم کے اس بیٹے پر جاتا ہے جس نے سب سے پہلے قتل کیا، کیونکہ اسی نے سب سے پہلے ( ناحق ) خون کرنے کی کا راستہ نکالا ۔
Abdul'llah bin Mas'ud radiyallahu 'anhu se riwayat hai ke Nabi-e-Akram (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Nahaq jo bhi khoon hota hai us ke gunah ka ek hissa Adam ke us bete par jata hai jisne sab se pehle qatl kiya, kyunki usi ne sab se pehle (nahaq) khoon karne ki ka rasta nikala.
