It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Abu Razin that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "A dream rests on the leg of a bird as long as it is not interpreted. When it is interpreted, it comes to pass accordingly." He also said, "Dreams are one forty-sixth part of Prophecy." And perhaps he also said: "One should only relate a dream to someone who is loving or can give an opinion in such matters."

سیدنا ابورزین سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: خواب پرندے کے پاؤں پر ہوتا ہے تاقتی کہ اس کی تعبیر نہ دی جائے اور جب تعبیر دے دی جائے تو وہ اسی کے موافق پورا ہو جاتا ہے اور فرمایا کہ خواب اجزاء نبوت میں سے چھیالیسواں جزو ہے اور غالباً یہ بھی فرمایا کہ خواب صرف اسی شخص کے سامنے بیان کیا جائے جو محبت کرنے والا ہو یا اس معاملے میں رائے دے سکتا ہو۔

It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Abu Razin Uqayli that once he came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and submitted: My father is a very weak man, he does not have the strength to perform Hajj and Umrah, nor does he have any desire for women. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Then you perform Hajj and Umrah on his behalf.

سیدنا ابورزین عقیلی سے مروی ہے کہ وہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے اور عرض کیا: میرے والد صاحب انتہائی ضعیف آدمی ہیں وہ حج عمرہ کی طاقت نہیں رکھتے خواتین کی بھی خواہش نہیں رہی نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: پھر تم ان کی طرف سے حج اور عمرہ کر لو۔
Sayyidna Abu Zarain Uqaili se marvi hai ki woh aik martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir hue aur arz kiya: Mere walid sahab intehai zaeef aadmi hain woh Hajj Umrah ki taqat nahin rakhte khawateen ki bhi khwahish nahin rahi Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Phir tum un ki taraf se Hajj aur Umrah kar lo.
Abu Razin narrated: Once I asked in the court of the Prophet: O Messenger of Allah! On the Day of Resurrection, will every one of us be able to see Allah? And what is His sign among His creations? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: O Abu Razin! Can't each one of you see the moon clearly? I said: O Messenger of Allah! Why not? He said: So Allah is even greater than that.

سیدنا ابورزین سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نے بارگاہ نبوت میں عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! قیامت کے دن کیا ہم میں سے ہر شخص اللہ کا دیدار کر سکے گا اور اس کی مخلوق میں اس کی علامت کیا ہے نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: اے ابورزین کیا تم میں سے ہر شخص آزادی کے ساتھ چاند نہیں دیکھ سکتا میں نے کہا یا رسول اللہ! کیوں نہیں فرمایا: تو پھر اللہ اس سے بھی زیادہ عظیم ہے۔

It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Abu Razeen that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Our Lord laughs when He sees His servants despairing and then turning to others for help. I said: O Messenger of Allah! Does Allah also laugh? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Yes. I said: Then we will never be deprived of good by a Lord who laughs.

سیدنا ابورزین سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ہمارا پروردگار اپنے بندوں کی مایوسی اور دوسرے کے قریب جاتے ہوئے انہیں دیکھ کر ہنستا ہے میں نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! کیا اللہ بھی ہنستا ہے نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ہاں میں نے عرض کیا: پھر ہم ہنسنے والے رب سے خیر سے محروم نہیں رہیں گے۔
Syedna Aborzin se marvi hai keh nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: hamara parvardigaar apne bandon ki mayosi aur dusre ke qareeb jate huye unhen dekh kar hansta hai. Maine arz kiya: Ya Rasulullah! kya Allah bhi hansta hai? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Haan. Maine arz kiya: phir hum hansne wale rabb se khair se mehroom nahi rahenge.
It is narrated by Abu Razin that I asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Where was our Lord before creating the creation?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "He was in an undefined place, there was only emptiness above and below Him, then He created His Throne on water."

سیدنا ابورزین سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! مخلوق کو پیدا کرنے سے پہلے ہمارا رب کہاں تھا؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: وہ نامعلوم مقام پر تھا اس کے اوپر نیچے صرف خلاء تھا پھر اس نے پانی پر اپنا عرش پیدا کیا۔
Sayyidna Aburazain se marvi hai keh maine arz kiya: Ya Rasool Allah! Makhluq ko paida karne se pehle hamara Rab kahan tha? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Woh namaaloom maqam par tha uske upar neeche sirf khala tha phir usne pani par apna arsh paida kiya.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Razin that once I said in the court of the Prophet: O Messenger of Allah! Where will my mother be? He said: In Hell. I said: Then where will your family members who have passed away be? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Are you not satisfied that your mother should be with my mother?

سیدنا ابورزین سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نے بارگاہ رسالت میں عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! میری والدہ کہاں ہو گی فرمایا: جہنم میں میں نے عرض کیا: کہ پھر آپ کے جو اہل خانہ فوت ہو گئے وہ کہاں ہوں گے نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: کیا تم اس بات پر راضی نہیں ہو کہ تمہاری ماں میری ماں کے ساتھ ہو۔
Sayyidina Aburazin se marvi hai ki ek martaba maine bargah risalat mein arz kiya: Ya Rasul Allah meri walida kahan ho gi farmaya: Jahannam mein maine arz kiya: keh phir aap ke jo ahal khana faut ho gaye woh kahan honge Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: kya tum is baat par razi nahin ho ki tumhari maan meri maan ke sath ho.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Abu Razin that once I was in the service of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and I said: My father is very old and weak, he is not able to perform Hajj and Umrah, and he has no desire for women. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Then you should perform Hajj and Umrah on his behalf.

It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Abu Razin that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “The dream is one of the forty-six parts of Prophethood, and the dream is on the feet of a bird until it is interpreted, and when it is interpreted, it becomes like that.”

Our master Abu Dhar Ghaffari narrated that once I asked in the court of the Prophet: "O Messenger of Allah! Will each one of us be able to see Allah on the Day of Resurrection, and what is His sign among His creation?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "O Abu Dhar, can't each one of you see the moon clearly in its fullness?" I said: "Yes, O Messenger of Allah!" He said: "Then Allah is greater than that."

Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Aye Aborzin kya tum mein se har shakhs azadi ke sath chand nahi dekh sakta? Mein ne kaha Ya Rasool Allah kyun nahi? Farmaya: To phir Allah is se bhi ziada azeem hai.
Narrated by Abu Razin: Once I asked in the court of the Prophet, "O Messenger of Allah! How will Allah Almighty resurrect people?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Have you never passed through a valley that was once barren but, upon passing it again, you found it lush and green?"

سیدنا ابورزین سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نے بارگاہ رسالت میں عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! اللہ تعالیٰ مردوں کو کیسے زندہ کر ے گا نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: کیا تم کبھی ایسی وادی میں سے نہیں گزرے جہاں پہلے پھل نہ ہو پھر دوبارہ گزرنے پر وہ سرسبز شاداب ہو چکا ہو۔

It is narrated by Abu Zar Ghaffari (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that once I asked in the court of the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H): “O Messenger of Allah! How will Allah Almighty resurrect the dead?”
The Prophet (P.B.U.H) said: “Have you never passed through a valley that was barren at first, but when you passed through it again, it was lush and green?”
I said: “Yes.”
He (P.B.U.H) said: “That is how the dead will be raised to life.”
Then I asked: “O Messenger of Allah! What is faith?”
The Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) said: “To testify that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is His servant and His Messenger. And that Allah and His Messenger become more beloved to you than all else. That you would prefer to be burned alive rather than return to polytheism. And to love a person who is not related to you by blood, only for the sake of Allah. When you reach this state, then know that the love of faith has descended into your heart, just as a thirsty person desires water in the scorching heat.”
Then I asked: “O Messenger of Allah! How can I know whether I am a believer?”
The Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) said: "Every member of my Ummah who does a good deed and considers it to be good and believes that Allah will surely reward him for it, or commits a sin and is certain that it is a sin and he repents for it and believes that no one can forgive him except Allah, then he is a believer."

سیدنا ابورزین سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نے بارگاہ رسالت میں عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! اللہ تعالیٰ مردوں کو کیسے زندہ کر ے گا نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ کیا تم کبھی ایسی وادی سے نہیں گزرے جہاں پہلے پھل نہ ہو پھر دوبارہ گزرنے پر وہ سرسبز شاداب ہو چکا ہو میں نے عرض کیا: جی ہاں فرمایا: اسی طرح مردے زندہ ہو جائیں گے۔ پھر عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! ایمان کیا چیز ہے نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: اس بات کی گواہی دینا کہ اللہ کے علاوہ کوئی معبود نہیں ہے اور محمد اس کے بندے اور اس کے رسول ہیں اور یہ کہ اللہ اور اس کے رسول تمہاری نگاہوں میں اپنے علاوہ سب سے زیادہ محبوب ہو جائیں تمہیں دوبارہ شرک کی طرف لوٹنے سے زیادہ آگ میں جل جانا پسند ہو جائے اور کسی ایسے شخص سے جو تمہارے ساتھ نسبی قرابت نہ رکھتا ہو صرف اللہ کی رضا کے لے محبت کرتا ہو جب تم اس کیفیت تک پہنچ جاؤ تو سمجھ لو کہ ایمان کی محبت تمہارے دل میں اترچکی ہے جیسے سخت گرمی کے موسم میں پیاسے آدمی کے دل میں خواہش پیدا ہو جاتی ہے۔ پھر میں نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! میں اپنے بارے میں کیسے معلوم کر سکتا ہوں کہ میں مومن ہوں نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: میرا جو امتی بھی کوئی نیک عمل کر ے اور وہ اسے نیکی سمجھتا بھی ہواور یہ کہ اللہ تعالیٰ اسے اس کا بدلہ ضرور دے گا یا کوئی گناہ کر ے اور اسے یقین ہو جائے کہ یہ گناہ ہے اور وہ اس پر استغفار کر ے اور یہ یقین رکھتا ہو کہ اللہ کے علاوہ اسے کوئی معاف نہیں کر سکتا تو وہ مومن ہے۔

Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki kya tum kabhi aisi wadi se nahi guzre jahan pehle phal na ho phir dobara guzarne par wo sar sabz shadab ho chuka ho? Maine arz kiya: Ji haan. Farmaya: Isi tarah murde zinda ho jayenge. Phir arz kiya: Ya Rasulullah! Imaan kya cheez hai? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Is baat ki gawahi dena ki Allah ke alawa koi mabood nahi hai aur Muhammad us ke bande aur us ke rasool hain aur ye ki Allah aur us ke rasool tumhari nigaahon mein apne alawa sab se zyada mahboob ho jayen. Tumhein dobara shirk ki taraf lautne se zyada aag mein jal jana pasand ho jaye aur kisi aise shakhs se jo tumhare sath nisbati qarabat na rakhta ho sirf Allah ki raza ke liye mohabbat karta ho jab tum is kefiyat tak pahunch jao to samajh lo ki imaan ki mohabbat tumhare dil mein utar chuki hai jaise sakht garmi ke mausam mein pyase aadmi ke dil mein khwahish paida ho jati hai. Phir maine arz kiya: Ya Rasulullah! Main apne bare mein kaise maloom kar sakta hun ki main momin hun? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Mera jo ummati bhi koi nek amal kare aur wo use neki samajhta bhi ho aur ye ki Allah Ta'ala use iska badla zaroor dega ya koi gunah kare aur use yaqeen ho jaye ki ye gunah hai aur wo is par istighfar kare aur ye yaqeen rakhta ho ki Allah ke alawa use koi maaf nahi kar sakta to wo momin hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Abu Razin that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Dreams are like a bird's foot as long as they are not interpreted. When they are interpreted, they come true accordingly." He also said, "Dreams are one-fortieth part of Prophethood." And he generally advised, "Dreams should only be narrated to someone who loves you or is wise in these matters."

I said: Why not? He said: In the same way, Allah Almighty will resurrect the dead.

Narrated by Sayyiduna Abu Razin, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "A dream rests on the leg of a bird as long as it is not interpreted, and when it is interpreted it comes to pass according to its interpretation." He also said: "Dreams are one-fortieth part of Prophethood." And it is likely that he also said: "A dream should only be related to one who loves or to one who can give an opinion about it."

Abu Razin narrated that once I submitted in the court of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him): "O Messenger of Allah! On the Day of Judgment, will each one of us be able to see Allah? And what is His sign among His creations?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "O Abu Razin! Can't each one of you see the moon clearly?" I said: "Yes, O Messenger of Allah!" He said: "So Allah is even greater than that."

سیدنا ابورزین سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نے بارگاہ نبوت میں عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! قیامت کے دن کیا ہم میں سے ہر شخص اللہ کا دیدار کر سکے گا اور اس کی مخلوق میں اس کی علامت کیا ہے نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: اے ابورزین کیا تم میں سے ہر شخص آزادی کے ساتھ چاند نہیں دیکھ سکتا میں نے کہا یا رسول اللہ! کیوں نہیں فرمایا: تو پھر اللہ اس سے بھی زیادہ عظیم ہے۔

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Razin Uqayli that once he came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and submitted: My father has become very weak and old, he is not able to perform Hajj and Umrah, nor does he have any desire for women. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Then you perform Hajj and Umrah on his behalf.

سیدنا ابورزین عقیلی سے مروی ہے کہ وہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے اور عرض کیا: کہ میرے والد صاحب انتہائی ضعیف اور بوڑھے ہو چکے ہیں وہ حج وعمرہ کی طاقت نہیں رکھتے خواتین کی بھی خواہش نہیں رہی نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: پھر تم ان کی طرف سے حج اور عمرہ کر لو۔
Sayyidna Abu Zarrin Aqili se marvi hai ki woh ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir hue aur arz kiya: ki mere walid sahab intehai zaeef aur budhe ho chuke hain woh Hajj-o-Umrah ki taqat nahin rakhte khawateen ki bhi khwahish nahin rahi. Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: phir tum un ki taraf se Hajj aur Umrah kar lo.
It is narrated by Abu Razin that I asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Where was our Lord before He created the creation?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, "He was in an unknown place, there was only emptiness above and below Him. Then He created His Throne upon water."

سیدنا ابورزین سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! مخلوق کو پیدا کرنے سے پہلے ہمارا رب کہاں تھا نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: نامعلوم مقام پر تھا اس کے اوپر نیچے صرف خلاء تھا پھر اس نے پانی پر اپنا عرش پیدا کیا۔
Syedna Aburazin se marvi hai ke maine arz kiya: Ya Rasool Allah! Makhlooq ko peda karne se pehle hamara Rab kahan tha Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Namalum maqam par tha uske upar neeche sirf khala tha phir usne pani par apna arsh peda kiya.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Abu Razin that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Our Lord laughs when He sees His servants despairing and then turning to others (for help). I said: O Messenger of Allah! Does Allah also laugh? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Yes. I said: Then we will never be deprived of good by a Lord who laughs.

سیدنا ابورزین سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ہمارا پروردگار اپنے بندوں کی مایوسی اور دوسروں کے قریب جاتے ہوئے انہیں دیکھ کر ہنستا ہے میں نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! کیا اللہ بھی ہنستا ہے نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ہاں میں نے عرض کیا: کہ پھر ہم ہنسنے والے رب سے خیر سے محروم نہیں رہیں گے۔
Syedna Abu Razeen se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Humara Parwardigaar apne bandon ki mayosi aur dusron ke qareeb jate huye unhen dekh kar hansta hai mein ne arz kiya: Ya Rasulullah! kya Allah bhi hansta hai Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Haan mein ne arz kiya: keh phir hum hansne wale Rab se khair se mehroom nahi rahenge.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Abu Razin that once I submitted in the court of the Prophet: O Messenger of Allah! We slaughter some animals in the month of Rajab, eat them ourselves and also feed those who come to us. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: There is no harm in it.

سیدنا ابورزین سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نے بارگاہ رسالت میں عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! ہم لوگ ماہ رجب میں کچھ جانوروں کو ذبح کرتے ہیں خود بھی کھاتے ہیں اور اپنے پاس آنے والوں کو بھی کھلاتے ہیں نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: کوئی حرج نہیں۔
Sayyidna Abuzar se marvi hai ki ek martaba maine bargah risalat mein arz kiya: Ya Rasulullah! Hum log mah Rajab mein kuchh janwaron ko zibah karte hain khud bhi khate hain aur apne pass aane walon ko bhi khilate hain Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Koi haraj nahin.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Razin 'Uqayli that once he appeared before the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and submitted: My father has become extremely weak and old. He does not have the strength for Hajj and 'Umrah. He also has no desire for women. The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: Then you perform Hajj and 'Umrah on his behalf.

It is narrated from Sayyidina Abu Razin that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "A dream is one part out of forty-six parts of Prophethood, and a dream rests upon the leg of a bird as long as it is not interpreted. But when it is interpreted, it comes to pass according to its interpretation."

سیدنا ابورزین سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: خواب اجزاء نبوت میں سے چالیسواں جزو ہے اور خواب پرندے کے پاؤں پر ہوتا ہے تاوقتیکہ اس کی تعبیر نہ دی جائے اور جب تعیبر دی جائے تو وہ اسی کے موافق پورا ہو جاتا ہے۔
Syedna Aborzin se marvi hai keh nabi Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne irshad farmaya: khwab ajza e nabuyat mein se chaliswaan juzu hai aur khwab parindey ke paon per hota hai ta waqt keh uski tabeer na di jaye aur jab tabeer di jaye to wo usi ke mutabiq poora ho jata hai.
Asim bin Laqit said that once he and his companion, Nuhaik bin Asim bin Malik, set out to visit the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He said that when we arrived in the presence of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), the month of Rajab had ended, and at that time the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had finished the Fajr prayer. After that, he stood up to deliver a sermon to the people and said: “O people, I have hidden my voice from you for four days. Now I will let you hear. Is there anyone among you who has been sent by his people?” The people began to say, “Tell the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about us, that we have come.” But the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Perhaps the one who comes to me may be distracted by the whispers and thoughts that arise in his mind, or by his companion, or by a group of misguided people, or by Satan. Remember, on the Day of Resurrection, I will be asked, so you bear witness that I have conveyed the invitation to Islam to you. O people, listen to my words so that you may find life, and sit down.” So the people sat down, but I and my companion remained standing. When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) looked at us and turned towards us, I asked, “O Messenger of Allah, how much knowledge of the unseen do you have?” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) smiled and rubbed his head, and you understood that I was asking this question because of those people whose thinking was very low, and he said, “Your Lord has kept five keys of the unseen only with Himself, and no one knows them except Him.” Saying this, he pointed with his blessed hand. I asked, “What are those five things?” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
* “The knowledge of death is with Allah, when each of you will die, but you do not know.”
* “The knowledge of the drop that falls in the mother’s womb is with Him, but you do not know.”
* “The knowledge of tomorrow and what you will eat tomorrow is with Him, but you do not know it.”
* “The knowledge of the day of rain is with Him, that when you become helpless and afraid, He sends down rain on you and laughs, and He knows that your helper is near.” I said, “O Messenger of Allah, the One who laughs can never be deprived of goodness.”
* “The knowledge of the Day of Judgment.”
Then I said, “O Messenger of Allah, teach us also the things that you teach people and that are in your knowledge, because none of these people will be ready to consider our words as true, because we belong to the tribe of Mazhaj, who rule over us, and to the tribe of Khath’am, with whom we have a covenant, and to the tribe from which we come.” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “You will remain like this for a while, then your Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) will pass away from this world. Then you will spend some time, then there will be a loud blast that will not leave anyone alive on the face of the earth except those angels who are with your Lord. Then your Lord will descend to earth when the cities will have become empty. Then He will send down rain from the heavens over the earth, and there will be no place of killing of any murdered person and no grave of any dead person on earth that will not be split open, and every person will sit up straight. The Lord will say, ‘Leave him in the same condition in which he is.’ He will say, ‘O Lord, grant me a day of the past,’ when he will have lived a long life and will be thinking that he is talking to his family.”
I said, “O Messenger of Allah, when the winds and decay and wild animals have torn us apart, then how will the Lord gather us after that?” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “I will give you an example of this from among the other blessings of Allah. This land where you go is completely barren and desolate. When you see it, you say that it can never be inhabited. Then the Lord sends down rain on it, and after a while, when you pass by the same land again, it is lush and green. By the oath of your Lord, He is more able to gather them from the water than He is to keep the substances of plants in the earth.” So they will come out of their graves. You will see your Lord, and He will see you.”
I said, “O Messenger of Allah, how can all of us people see this One Being together, and how can that One Being see all of us?” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “I will give you an example of this from among the other blessings of Allah. The moon and the sun are very small signs of His. You can see them, and they can see you. You do not have any difficulty in seeing them. By the oath of your Lord, He is more able to…”

عاصم بن لقیط کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ اپنے ساتھی نھیک بن عاصم بن مالک کے ساتھ نبی ﷺ کی طرف روانہ ہوئے وہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں جب حاضر ہوئے تو رجب کا مہینہ ختم ہو چکا تھا اور اس وقت نبی ﷺ نماز فجر سے فارغ ہوئے تھے اس کے بعد آپ لوگوں کے سامنے خطبہ دینے کے لئے کھڑے ہوئے اور فرمایا: لوگو میں نے چار دن تک اپنی آواز تم سے مخفی رکھی اب میں تمہیں سناتاہوں کیا کوئی شخص ایسا بھی ہے جسے اس کی قوم نے بھیجا ہو لوگ مجھ سے کہنے لگے کہ نبی ﷺ کو ہمارے متعلق بتاؤ کہ ہم آئے ہیں لیکن نبی ﷺ فرمانے لگے کہ ہو سکتا ہے کہ اس آنے والے کو اس کے ذہن میں پیدا ہو نے والے وساوس و خیالات، یا اس کے ساتھی یا گمراہوں کا ٹولہ شیطان غافل کر دے یاد رکھو مجھ سے قیامت کے دن پوچھا: جائے گا تو تم بتاؤ کہ کیا میں نے تم تک دین کی دعوت پہنچا دی ہے لوگو میری بات سنو تاکہ تم زندگی پاؤ اور بیٹھ جاؤ۔ چنانچہ لوگ بیٹھ گئے لیکن میں اور میرا ساتھی کھڑے رہے نبی ﷺ کی نظر جب ہم پر پڑی اور آپ ہماری طرف متوجہ ہوئے تو میں نے پوچھا: یا رسول اللہ! آپ کے پاس کتنا علم غیب ہے نبی ﷺ نے مسکرا کر اپنا سرہلایا اور آپ سمجھ گئے کہ میں یہ سوال ان لوگوں کی وجہ سے پوچھ رہا ہوں جن کی سوچ بہت پست ہو تی ہے اور فرمایا کہ تمہارے رب نے غیب کی پانچ کنجیاں صرف اپنے پاس ہی رکھی ہیں اور انہیں ان کے علاوہ کوئی نہیں جانتا یہ کہہ کر آپ نے اپنے دست مبارک سے اشارہ فرمایا:۔ میں نے پوچھا کہ وہ پانچ چیزیں کون سی ہیں نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: موت کا علم اللہ کو ہے کہ تم میں سے کون کب مرے گا لیکن تم نہیں جانتے۔ رحم مادر میں پڑنے والے قطرے کا علم اسی کے پاس ہے تم نہیں جانتے۔ آئندہ آنے والے کل کا علم اور یہ کہ کل تم کیا کھاؤ گے اسی کے پاس تم اسے نہیں جانتے۔ بارش کے دن کا علم اسی کے پاس ہے کہ جب تم عاجز اور خوف زدہ ہو جاتے ہو تو وہ تم پر بارش برساتا ہے اور ہنستا ہے اور جانتا ہے کہ تمہارا غیر قریب ہے میں نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! جو پروردگار ہنستا ہے وہ خیر سے محروم کبھی نہیں کر سکتا۔ قیامت کا علم۔ پھر میں نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! آپ لوگوں کو جن باتوں کی تعلیم دیتے ہیں اور جو آپ کے علم میں ہیں وہ ہمیں بھی سکھا دیجیے کیونکہ ہم ان لوگوں میں سے کوئی بھی ہماری بات کو سچا سمجھنے کے لئے تیار نہیں ہو گا کیونکہ ہمارا تعلق قبیلہ مذحج سے ہے جو ہم پر حکمران ہیں اور قبیلہ خثعم سے ہے جس کے ساتھ ہمارا موالات کا تعلق ہے اور اس قبیلے سے جس میں سے ہم ہیں نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ کچھ عرصہ تک تم اسی طرح رہو گے پھر تمہارے نبی ﷺ دنیا سے پردہ فرما جائیں گے۔ پھر تم کچھ عرصہ گزارو گے پھر ایک چنگھاڑی کی آواز آئے گی جو زمین کی پشت پر کسی شخص کو جیتا نہ چھوڑے گی اور وہ فرشتے جو تیرے رب کے ساتھ ہوں گے۔ پھر تیرا پروردگار زمین پر چکر لگائے گا جبکہ شہر خالی ہو چکے ہوں گے پھر وہ عرش سے آسمانوں پر سے بارش برسائے گا اور زمین پر کسی نا مقتول کی قتل گاہ اور کسی مردے کی قبر ایسی نہ رہے گی جو شق نہ ہو جائے اور ہر شخص سیدھا ہو کر بیٹھ جائے گا پروردگار فرمائیں گے کہ اسے اسی حالت میں روک لو جس میں وہ ہے وہ کہے گا پروردگار ماضی کا ایک دن مل جائے جب کہ وہ ایک طویل زندگی گزارچکا ہو گا اور یہی سمجھ رہا ہو گا کہ اپنے گھروالوں سے باتیں کر رہا ہے۔ میں نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! جب ہوائیں اور بوسیدگی اور درندے ہمیں ریزہ ریزہ کر چکے ہوں گے تو اس کے بعد پروردگار ہمیں کیونکہ جمع کر ے گا نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: میں اللہ کی دوسری نعمتوں میں تمہارے ساتھ اس کی مثال بیان کرتا ہوں یہ زمین ایسی ہے جہاں تم گئے وہ بالکل بنجر اور ویران ہے تم اسے دیکھ کر کہتے ہو کہ یہ کبھی آباد نہیں ہو سکتی پھر پروردگار اس پر بارش برساتا ہے اور کچھ عرصہ بعد تمہارا دوبارہ اسی زمین پر گزر ہوتا ہے تو وہ لہلہارہی ہو تی ہیں تمہارے معبود کی قسم وہ زمین میں نباتات کے مادے رکھنے سے زیادہ پانی سے انہیں جمع کرنے پر قدرت رکھتا ہے چنانچہ وہ اپنی قبروں سے نکل آئیں گے تم اپنے رب کو دیکھو گے اور وہ تمہیں دیکھیں گے۔ میں نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! ہم سارے زمین والے مل کر اس ایک ذات کو اور وہ ایک ذات ہم سب کو کیسے دیکھ سکے گی نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: میں اللہ کی دوسری نعمتوں میں تمہارے سامنے اس کی مثال بیان کرتا ہوں چاند اور سورج اس کی بہت چھوٹی سی علامت ہے تم آن واحد انہیں دیکھ سکتے ہواور وہ تمہیں دیکھ سکتے ہیں تمہیں ان کو دیکھنے میں کسی قسم کی کوئی مشقت نہیں ہو تی تمہارے معبود کی قسم وہ ب
