Chapter on one who has no right to perform Hajj on behalf of another.

Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) heard a man saying: "Labbaik `an Shubrumah (Here I am at Your service on behalf of Shubrumah)." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked: "Who is this Shubrumah?" He said: "He is my relative," or he said: "He is my brother." He (the Prophet) asked: "Have you performed Hajj on your own behalf?" He said: "No." Thereupon, he (the Prophet) said: "Perform Hajj on your own behalf first, then perform Hajj on behalf of Shubrumah."

(٨٦٧٥) عبداللہ بن عباس (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ایک شخص کو یہ کہتے ہوئے سنا : لبیک عن شبرمہ (میں شبرمہ کی طرف سے حاضر ہوں) تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے پوچھا : یہ شبرمہ کون ہے ؟ اس نے کہا کہ میرا قریبی یا کہا : میرا بھائی ہے تو آپ نے پوچھا : کیا تو نے خود بھی کبھی حج کیا ہے ؟ کہنے لگا نہیں تو آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : تو پھر یہ حج اپنی طرف سے کر ، پھر شبرمہ کی طرف سے حج کرنا۔
(8675) Abdullah bin Abbas (RA) farmate hain keh Rasool Allah (SAW) ne aik shakhs ko yeh kehte huye suna : Labbaik an Shibruma (mein Shibruma ki taraf se hazir hun) to aap (SAW) ne pucha : Yeh Shibruma kaun hai ? Iss ne kaha keh mera qareebi ya kaha : mera bhai hai to aap ne pucha : Kya tu ne khud bhi kabhi Hajj kiya hai ? Kehne laga nahi to aap (SAW) ne farmaya : To phir yeh Hajj apni taraf se kar, phir Shibruma ki taraf se Hajj karna.
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) heard a man reciting Talbiyah on behalf of Shabram. He asked: "Who is Shabram?" He said: "My brother or a close relative." You asked: "Have you ever performed Hajj?" He said: "No." You said: "Then perform this Hajj on your own behalf, then perform it on his behalf later."

(٨٦٧٦) ابن عباس (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ایک شخص کو شبرمہ کی طرف سے تلبیہ کہتے ہوئے سنا تو پوچھا : شبرمہ کون ہے ؟ اس نے کہا : میرا بھائی یا قریبی ہے، آپ نے پوچھا تو نے کبھی حج کیا ہے ؟ اس نے کہا : نہیں آپ نے فرمایا : تو پھر یہ حج اپنی طرف سے کر ، پھر اس کی طرف سے بعد میں کرنا۔
Ibn Abbas (RA) farmate hain ke Rasul Allah (SAW) ne ek shakhs ko Shabramh ki taraf se talbiyah kehte hue suna to pucha: Shabramh kaun hai? Usne kaha: mera bhai ya qareebi hai, aap ne pucha tune kabhi Hajj kiya hai? Usne kaha: nahi. Aap ne farmaya: to phir ye Hajj apni taraf se kar, phir uski taraf se baad me karna.
He (8678) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) heard a person saying Talbiyah on behalf of someone else, so he said: “If you have performed Hajj yourself, then say Talbiyah on his behalf, otherwise perform Hajj on your own behalf, then perform it on his behalf.”

(٨٦٧٨) عطاء فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ایک شخص کو کسی کی طرف سے لبیک کہتے ہوئے سنا تو فرمایا : اگر تو نے خود حج کیا ہوا ہے تو اس کی طرف سے تلبیہ کہہ وگرنہ اپنی طرف سے حج کرو، پھر اس کی طرف سے کرنا۔
(8678) Ataa farmate hain ke Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne ek shakhs ko kisi ki taraf se Labbaik kahte huye suna to farmaya: Agar tune khud Hajj kiya hua hai to uski taraf se talbiyah kah warna apni taraf se Hajj karo, phir uski taraf se karna.
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) heard a man saying Talbiyah on behalf of someone else, so he asked him: "Have you said Talbiyah on your own behalf?" He said: "No." So he said: "Say Talbiyah on your own behalf first, then say it on behalf of someone else."

(٨٦٧٩) ابن عباس (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ایک شخص کو کسی دوسرے کی طرف سے تلبیہ کہتے ہوئے سنا تو پوچھا : کیا تو نے اپنی طرف سے تلبیہ کہا ہے ؟ کہنے لگا کہ نہیں تو فرمایا : پہلے اپنی طرف سے تلبیہ کہہ ، پھر کسی اور کی طرف سے کہنا۔
(8679) Ibne Abbas (RA) farmate hain ke Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne aik shakhs ko kisi dusre ki taraf se talbiyah kehte huye suna to poocha : kya tune apni taraf se talbiyah kaha hai ? kehne laga ke nahi to farmaya : pehle apni taraf se talbiyah keh, phir kisi aur ki taraf se kehna.
Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) heard a man saying, "Labbaik `an Shubrumah." He (the Prophet) asked, "Have you performed Hajj on your own behalf?" He said, "No." He (the Prophet) said, "Then perform Hajj on your own behalf (and say the Talbiyah)."

(٨٦٨٠) ابن عباس (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ایک شخص کو لبیک عن شبرمہ کہتے ہوئے سنا تو پوچھا : کیا تو نے اپنی طرف حج کیا ہے ؟ اس نے کہا : نہیں۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : تو پھر اپنی طرف سے تلبیہ کہہ۔
(8680) Ibn Abbas (RA) farmate hain ke Nabi (SAW) ne aik shakhs ko labbaik an shibrima kehte huye suna to poocha : kya tune apni taraf Hajj kya hai ? Usne kaha : nahi. Aap (SAW) ne farmaya : to phir apni taraf se talbiyah kah.
Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) heard a man saying Talbiyah from Shabramma. He called him and said, "Have you performed Hajj?" He said, "No." He said, "Then this is on your behalf. So perform Hajj from Shabramma."

(٨٦٨١) ابن عباس (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ایک شخص کو شبرمہ کی طرف سے تلبیہ کہتے ہوئے سنا تو اس کو بلا کر فرمایا : کیا تو نے حج کیا ہے ؟ کہنے لگا کہ نہیں تو آپ نے فرمایا : یہ تیری طرف سے ہے ، پھر شبرمہ کی طرف سے حج کر۔
(8681) Ibn Abbas (rz) farmate hain keh Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne aik shakhs ko Shabramh ki taraf se talbiyah kehte huye suna to usko bula kar farmaya : kya tune Hajj kiya hai ? Kehne laga keh nahi to aap ne farmaya : yeh teri taraf se hai, phir Shabramh ki taraf se Hajj kar.
Abu Qilaba reported on the authority of Ibn Abbas that he heard a person saying: "Labbaik `an Shubrumma." He said: "May Shubrumma perish! Who is Shubrumma?" He said: "My brother or a near relative of mine." He (Ibn Abbas) said: "Did you perform Hajj on your own behalf?" He said: "No." He (Ibn 'Abbas) said: "Then perform Hajj on your own behalf, and then on behalf of Shubrumma."

(٨٦٨٢) ابو قلابہ ابن عباس (رض) سے روایت فرماتے ہیں کہ انھوں نے ایک شخص کو لبیک عن شبرمہ کہتے ہوئے سنا تو کہا : تیرا ستیاناس شبرمہ کیا ہے ؟ کہنے لگا : میرا بھائی یا قریبی ہے تو انھوں نے پوچھا : کیا تو نے اپنی طرف سے حج کیا ہے ؟ اس نے کہا کہ نہیں تو انھوں نے کہا : تو یہ حج اپنی طرف سے کرو، پھر شبرمہ کی طرف سے کرنا۔
Abu Qilaba Ibn Abbas (RA) se riwayat farmate hain ki unhon ne ek shakhs ko labbaik an Shibruma kehte huye suna to kaha: tera satyanas Shibruma kya hai? Kehne laga: mera bhai ya qareebi hai to unhon ne poocha: kya tune apni taraf se Hajj kiya hai? Usne kaha ki nahin to unhon ne kaha: to yeh Hajj apni taraf se karo, phir Shibruma ki taraf se karna.
Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that a man vowed to perform Hajj, but he had not yet performed the obligatory Hajj. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to him: "Perform the Hajj that is obligatory upon you first, then perform Hajj for your vow."

(٨٦٨٣) ابن عباس (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ ایک شخص نے حج کرنے کی نذر مانی اور اس نے فرض حج نہیں کیا ہوا تھا تو اس کو رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : پہلے اسلام کا فرض حج اداکرو ، پھر اپنی نذر کے لیے حج کرنا۔
(8683) Ibn Abbas (RA) farmate hain ki aik shakhs ne Hajj karne ki nazar maani aur us ne farz Hajj nahin kiya hua tha to us ko Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : pehle Islam ka farz Hajj ada karo, phir apni nazar ke liye Hajj karna.
(8684) Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) heard a man saying the Talbiyah towards Nabishah, so he said: "O you who are saying the Talbiyah towards Nabishah! This Hajj is towards Allah, so perform Hajj for Allah."

(٨٦٨٤) ابن عباس (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ایک شخص کو نبیشہ کی طرف سے تلبیہ کہتے ہوئے سنا تو فرمایا : اے نبیشہ کی طرف سیتلبیہ کہنے والے ! یہ حج نبیشہ کی طرف سے ہے اور اپنی طرف سے حج کر۔
(8684) Ibn Abbas (RA) farmate hain ke Rasul Allah (SAW) ne ek shakhs ko Nabisha ki taraf se talbiyah kehte hue suna to farmaya : aye Nabisha ki taraf se talbiyah kehne wale ! yeh Hajj Nabisha ki taraf se hai aur apni taraf se Hajj kar.
Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) heard a man saying "Labbaik 'an Shubrumah." He asked him, "Who is Shubrumah?" He said, "My brother." He said, "Have you performed Hajj for yourself?" He said, "No." He (the Prophet) said, "Perform Hajj for yourself, then perform Hajj on behalf of Shubrumah."

8685 Ibn Abbas (RA) farmate hain ke Rasul Allah (SAW) ne ek shakhs ko labbaik an Shibruma kehte huye suna to usko farmaya: Shibruma kaun hai? Usne kaha: mera bhai hai, Aap ne farmaya: kya tune Hajj kiya hai? Kehne laga: nahi, Aap (SAW) ne farmaya: apni taraf se Hajj kar, phir Shibruma ki taraf se Hajj karna.
