Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), "You are to me like Aaron was to Moses, except that there will be no prophet after me." - Agreed upon.

سعد بن ابی وقاص ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے علی ؓ سے فرمایا :’’ آپ میرے لیے ایسے ہیں جیسے موسی ؑ کے لیے ہارون ؑ تھے ، البتہ میرے بعد کوئی نبی نہیں ۔‘‘ متفق علیہ ۔
Sad bin Abi Waqas RA bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah SAW ne Ali RA se farmaya: "Aap mere liye aise hain jaise Musa AS ke liye Haroon AS the, albatta mere baad koi nabi nahi." Muttafiq Alaih.
Zirr bin Hubaysh narrated: ‘Ali said: By the One who split the grain and created every living being! The unlettered Prophet ﷺ took a pledge from me that only a believer would love me and only a hypocrite would hate me. - Sahih Muslim

زر بن حبیش بیان کرتے ہیں ، علی ؓ نے فرمایا : اس ذات کی قسم جس نے دانے کو اگایا اور ہر ذی روح کو پیدا فرمایا ! نبی امی ﷺ نے مجھے عہد دیا کہ مومن شخص ہی مجھ سے محبت کرے گا اور صرف منافق شخص ہی مجھ سے دشمنی رکھے گا ۔ رواہ مسلم ۔
Zar bin Habish bayan karte hain, Ali ne farmaya: Iss zaat ki qasam jisne daane ko ugaya aur har zi rooh ko paida farmaya! Nabi e ummi ne mujhe ahd diya ke momin shakhs hi mujhse mohabbat karega aur sirf munafiq shakhs hi mujhse dushmani rakhega. Riwayat Muslim.
It is narrated on the authority of Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the occasion of the Battle of Khaybar, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "Tomorrow I will grant the flag to a man at whose hands Allah will grant victory. He loves Allah and His Messenger, and Allah and His Messenger love him." So when morning came, all the people presented themselves to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), and they all hoped that it (the flag) would be given to them. You (peace be upon him) said, "Where is Ali ibn Abi Talib?" They said, "O Messenger of Allah! His eyes are ailing." You (peace be upon him) said, "Call him to me." So they brought him to you, and the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) applied his saliva to his eyes, and he was healed as if he had never had any ailment. He (peace be upon him) gave him the flag, and Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "O Messenger of Allah! Shall I fight them until they become like us (i.e., Muslims)?" You (peace be upon him) said, "Go on until you reach their camp, then invite them to Islam and inform them of the rights of Allah that are binding upon them. By Allah! If your offspring were to guide a single person to Allah, it would be better for you than red camels." Agreed upon.
And in the hadith narrated by Bara' (may Allah be pleased with him), you (peace be upon him) said to Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), "You are from me and I am from you." It was mentioned in the chapter of "The Attainment of Puberty."

سہل بن سعد ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے غزوۂ خیبر کے موقع پر فرمایا :’’ میں کل ایک ایسے شخص کو پرچم عطا کروں گا جس کے ہاتھوں اللہ فتح عطا فرمائے گا ، وہ شخص اللہ اور رسول سے محبت کرتا ہے ، اور اللہ اور اس کا رسول اسے محبوب رکھتے ہیں ۔‘‘ چنانچہ جب صبح ہوئی تو تمام لوگ رسول اللہ ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے ، اور وہ سب پرامید تھے کہ وہ (پرچم) اسے عطا کیا جائے گا ۔ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ علی بن ابی طالب کہاں ہیں ؟‘‘ انہوں نے عرض کیا : اللہ کے رسول ! ان کی آنکھوں میں تکلیف ہے ، آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ انہیں بلاؤ ۔‘‘ وہ آپ کے پاس لائے گئے تو رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ان کی آنکھوں میں اپنا لعاب لگایا تو وہ ایسے شفایاب ہوئے کہ گویا انہیں کوئی تکلیف تھی ہی نہیں ، آپ ﷺ نے پرچم انہیں عطا فرمایا تو علی ؓ نے عرض کیا ، اللہ کے رسول ! کیا میں ان سے لڑتا رہوں حتیٰ کہ وہ ہمارے جیسے (یعنی مسلمان) ہو جائیں ، آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ یونہی چلتے رہو حتیٰ کہ تم ان کے میدان میں اترو ، پھر انہیں اسلام کی دعوت پیش کرو اور انہیں بتاؤ کہ اللہ کے کیا حقوق ان پر واجب ہیں ، اللہ کی قسم ! اگر تمہارے ذریعے اللہ کسی ایک آدمی کو ہدایت عطا فرما دے تو وہ تمہارے لیے سرخ اونٹوں سے بہتر ہے ۔‘‘ متفق علیہ ۔\n اور براء ؓ سے مروی حدیث آپ ﷺ نے علی ؓ سے فرمایا :’’ تو مجھ سے اور میں تم سے ہوں ‘‘ باب بلوغ الصغیر میں ذکر کی گئی ہے ۔\n
Sahl bin Saad RA se riwayat hai keh Rasool Allah SAW ne Ghazwah e Khyber ke mauqe per farmaya: "Main kal aik aise shakhs ko parcham ata karon ga jiske hathon Allah fatah ata farmaye ga, woh shakhs Allah aur Rasool se mohabbat karta hai, aur Allah aur uska Rasool usey mahboob rakhte hain." Chunancha jab subah hui to tamam log Rasool Allah SAW ki khidmat mein hazir hue, aur woh sab par-umeed thay keh woh (parcham) usey ata kiya jaye ga. Aap SAW ne farmaya: "Ali bin Abi Talib kahan hain?" Unhon ne arz kiya: "Allah ke Rasool! Unki aankhon mein takleef hai." Aap SAW ne farmaya: "Unhein bulao." Woh aapke pass laye gaye to Rasool Allah SAW ne unki aankhon mein apna la'ab lagaya to woh aise shifa-yaab hue keh goya unhein koi takleef thi hi nahin. Aap SAW ne parcham unhein ata farmaya to Ali RA ne arz kiya, "Allah ke Rasool! Kya main unse ladta rahun hatta keh woh humare jaise (yani Musalman) ho jayen?" Aap SAW ne farmaya: "Yunhi chalte raho hatta keh tum unke maidan mein utro, phir unhein Islam ki dawat pesh karo aur unhein batao keh Allah ke kya huqooq un per wajib hain. Allah ki qasam! Agar tumhare zareye Allah kisi aik aadmi ko hidayat ata farma de to woh tumhare liye surkh oonton se behtar hai." Muttafiq Alaih. Aur Bara RA se marvi hadees Aap SAW ne Ali RA se farmaya: "To mujh se aur main tum se hun." Bab Bulugh-us-Sagheer mein zikar ki gayi hai.
Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Ali is from me and I am from him, and he is a friend to every believer." (Hasan) It was narrated by Tirmidhi.

عمران بن حصین ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ علی مجھ سے ہیں اور میں ان سے ہوں اور وہ ہر مومن کے دوست ہیں ۔‘‘ اسنادہ حسن ، رواہ الترمذی ۔

It is narrated on the authority of Zayd ibn Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever I am a friend of, then Ali is his friend." (This narration) is authentic in its chain of narrators. It has been narrated by Ahmad and Tirmidhi.

زید بن ارقم ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ میں جس کا دوست ہوں ، علی اس کے دوست ہیں ۔‘‘ اسنادہ صحیح ، رواہ احمد و الترمذی ۔
Zaid bin Arqam RA se riwayat hai keh Nabi SAW ne farmaya: "Mein jis ka dost hun, Ali us ke dost hain." Isnaadahu sahih, riwayahu Ahmad wa al-Tirmidhi.
وَعَن زيد بن أَرقم أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ كُنْتُ مَوْلَاهُ فَعَلِيٌّ مَوْلَاهُ» . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالتِّرْمِذِيّ
Mishkat al-Masabih 6092
Habshi bin Junada narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Ali is from me and I am from him, and no one should convey on my behalf but me and Ali.” (Tirmidhi, and Imam Ahmad narrated it from Abu Junayh). Hasan, narrated by Tirmidhi and Ahmad.

حُبشی بن جنادہ ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ علی مجھ سے ہیں اور میں ان سے ہوں ، اور میری طرف سے کوئی ادائیگی نہ کرے سوائے میرے اور علی کے ۔‘‘ ترمذی ، اور امام احمد نے اسے ابوجناوہ سے روایت کیا ہے ۔ حسن ، رواہ الترمذی و احمد ۔
Hubshi bin Janaada riwayat karte hain, Rasool Allah ne farmaya: Ali mujhse hain aur main unse hun, aur meri taraf se koi adaegi na kare siwae mere aur Ali ke. Tirmizi, aur Imam Ahmad ne ise Abu Janaab se riwayat kiya hai. Hasan, Rawah Al-Tirmizi wa Ahmad.
Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) established brotherhood between his Companions. Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) came with tears in his eyes and said, "O Messenger of Allah! You have established brotherhood between your Companions, but you have not established brotherhood between me and anyone else." He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, "You are my brother in this world and in the Hereafter." Tirmidhi. And he (Tirmidhi) said, "This hadith is hasan gharib."
Its chain of narration is weak. Narrated by Tirmidhi.

ابن عمر ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے اپنے صحابہ کے درمیان بھائی چارہ قائم کیا تو علی ؓ اشکبار آنکھوں کے ساتھ آئے اور عرض کیا : آپ ﷺ نے اپنے صحابہ ؓ کے درمیان بھائی چارہ قائم کیا ہے ، لیکن آپ نے میرے اور کسی اور کے درمیان بھائی چارہ قائم نہیں فرمایا ، آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ تم میرے دنیا اور آخرت میں بھائی ہو ۔‘‘ ترمذی ، اور انہوں نے فرمایا : یہ حدیث حسن غریب ہے ۔ اسنادہ ضعیف ، رواہ الترمذی ۔
Ibn Umar bayan karte hain, Rasul Allah ne apne sahaba ke darmiyaan bhai chara qaim kya to Ali ashkbaar aankhon ke sath aaye aur arz kya : Aap ne apne sahaba ke darmiyaan bhai chara qaim kya hai, lekin aap ne mere aur kisi aur ke darmiyaan bhai chara qaim nahi farmaya, Aap ne farmaya :'' Tum mere duniya aur aakhriat mein bhai ho. '' Tirmizi, aur unhon ne farmaya : Yah hadees hasan gharib hai. Isnaad zaeef, riwayat al-Tirmizi.
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had a roasted bird. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “O Allah! Send to me the most beloved of Your creation to eat this bird with me.” Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) came and ate it with him. Tirmidhi, and he said: This hadith is gharib (strange). Hasan, narrated by Tirmidhi.

انس ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، نبی ﷺ کے پاس ایک بھنا ہوا پرندہ تھا ، آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ اے اللہ ! اپنی مخلوق میں سے اپنے محبوب ترین شخص کو میرے پاس بھیج جو میرے ساتھ اس پرندے کو کھائے ۔‘‘ علی ؓ ان کے پاس تشریف لائے اور انہوں نے آپ کے ساتھ تناول فرمایا ۔ ترمذی ، اور انہوں نے فرمایا : یہ حدیث غریب ہے ۔ حسن ، رواہ الترمذی ۔
Ins bayan karte hain, Nabi ke pass ek bhuna hua parinda tha, Aap ne farmaya: “Aye Allah! Apni makhlooq mein se apne mehboob tareen shakhs ko mere pass bhej jo mere saath is parinde ko khaye.” Ali unke pass tashreef laye aur unhon ne Aap ke saath tanavul farmaya. Tirmizi, aur unhon ne farmaya: Yah hadees ghareeb hai. Hasan, Rawah al-Tirmizi.
Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated, "Whenever I asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) for something, he would grant it to me. And when I remained silent, he would grant it to me without my asking." Tirmidhi. And he (Tirmidhi) said, "This hadith is hasan gharib." Weak chain of narration, narrated by Tirmidhi.

علی ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، میں جب رسول اللہ ﷺ سے کوئی چیز طلب کرتا تو آپ مجھے عطا فرماتے اور جب میں خاموش رہتا تو آپ طلب کیے بغیر مجھے عطا فرما دیتے تھے ۔ ترمذی ، اور انہوں نے فرمایا : یہ حدیث حسن غریب ہے ۔ سندہ ضعیف ، رواہ الترمذی ۔

Ali [may Allah be pleased with him] narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “I am the city of knowledge, and Ali is its gate." Imam Tirmidhi [may Allah have mercy on him] said: This hadith is gharib (strange), and he said: Some narrators have narrated this hadith from Sharik, and they have not mentioned 'an-Sunabuhi' in it, and we do not know this hadith from any trustworthy narrator except Sharik. Its chain of narration is weak. Narrated by Tirmidhi.

علی ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ میں دار حکمت ہوں اور علی اس کا دروازہ ہیں ۔‘‘ امام ترمذی ؒ نے کہا : یہ حدیث غریب ہے ، اور انہوں نے فرمایا : بعض راویوں نے اس حدیث کو شریک سے روایت کیا ہے ، اور انہوں نے اس میں عن الصنابحی کا ذکر نہیں کیا ، اور ہم شریک کے علاوہ یہ حدیث کسی ثقہ راوی سے نہیں جانتے ۔ اسنادہ ضعیف ، رواہ الترمذی ۔
Ali bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah ne farmaya: “Main dar hikmat hun aur Ali iska darwaza hain.” Imam Tirmidhi ne kaha: “Yeh hadees ghareeb hai, aur unhon ne farmaya: baz rawiyon ne is hadees ko Shariq se riwayat kiya hai, aur unhon ne is mein an al-Sunabuhi ka zikr nahin kiya, aur hum Shariq ke ilawa yeh hadees kisi saqah rawi se nahin jante.” Isnaadahu zaeef, riwayat al-Tirmidhi.
Jabir narrates that on the day of Taif, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ called Ali and whispered to him. The people said: "Your whispering with your cousin has become prolonged." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "I did not whisper to him, rather Allah whispered to him."
The chain of narration is weak. It was narrated by Tirmidhi.

جابر ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، طائف کے روز رسول اللہ ﷺ نے علی ؓ کو بلایا اور ان سے سرگوشی فرمائی ۔ لوگوں نے کہا : آپ کی اپنے چچا زاد کے ساتھ سرگوشی طویل ہو گئی ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ میں نے اس سے سرگوشی نہیں کی ، بلکہ اللہ نے اس سے سرگوشی کی ہے ۔‘‘ اسنادہ ضعیف ، رواہ الترمذی ۔
Jabar bayan karte hain, Taif ke roz Rasul Allah ne Ali ko bulaya aur un se sargoshi farmaai. Logon ne kaha: Aap ki apne chacha zad ke sath sargoshi tawil ho gai, Rasul Allah ne farmaya: "Main ne is se sargoshi nahi ki, balke Allah ne is se sargoshi ki hai." Isnaad e zaeef, Riwayat e Tirmizi.
Abu Sa'eed (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Ali (may Allah be pleased with him): "O Ali! It is not permissible for anyone except you and me to pass through this mosque while in a state of Janabah (major ritual impurity)." Ali bin Munzir said: I asked Dharrar bin Sard: What is the meaning of this Hadith? He said: It is not permissible for anyone except me and you to use the mosque as a pathway while in a state of Janabah. Tirmidhi, and he said: This Hadith is Hasan Gharib. Its chain of narration is weak, narrated by Tirmidhi.

ابوسعید ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے علی ؓ سے فرمایا :’’ علی ! میرے اور تمہارے سوا کسی کے لیے درست نہیں کہ وہ حالت جنابت میں اس مسجد میں سے گزرے ۔‘‘ علی بن منذر بیان کرتے ہیں ، میں نے ضرار بن صرد سے پوچھا : اس حدیث کا کیا معنی ہے ؟ انہوں نے فرمایا : میرے اور تیرے سوا کسی کے لیے درست نہیں کہ وہ حالت جنابت میں مسجد سے راستے کا کام لے ۔ ترمذی ، اور انہوں نے کہا : یہ حدیث حسن غریب ہے ۔ اسنادہ ضعیف ، رواہ الترمذی ۔
Abusaid bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah ne Ali se farmaya: “Ali! Mere aur tumhare siwa kisi ke liye durust nahin ki woh halat junubat mein is masjid mein se guzare.” Ali bin Munzir bayan karte hain, maine Zurar bin Sard se poocha: Is hadees ka kya mani hai? Unhon ne farmaya: Mere aur tere siwa kisi ke liye durust nahin ki woh halat junubat mein masjid se raste ka kaam le. Tirmizi, aur unhon ne kaha: Yah hadees hasan gharib hai. Isnaadahu zaeef, riwayat al-Tirmizi.
Umm Atiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) dispatched an army, and Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) was among them. Umm Atiyyah said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) supplicating while raising his hands, 'O Allah! Do not cause me to die until You show me Ali.'"
(This narration has a weak chain of narrators. It was narrated by At-Tirmidhi)

ام عطیہ ؓ بیان کرتی ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ایک لشکر روانہ کیا ، اس میں علی ؓ بھی تھے ، ام عطیہ ؓ نے کہا : میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو اپنے ہاتھ اٹھا کر دعا کرتے ہوئے سنا :’’ اے اللہ ! مجھے موت نہ دینا حتیٰ کہ تو مجھے علی ؓ کو دکھا دے ۔‘‘ اسنادہ ضعیف ، رواہ الترمذی ۔
Um Atiya bayan karti hain, Rasool Allah ne ek lashkar rawana kiya, is mein Ali bhi thay, Um Atiya ne kaha: maine Rasool Allah ko apne hath utha kar dua karte huye suna: ''Aye Allah! mujhe maut na dena hatta ke tu mujhe Ali ko dikha de.'' Isnad zaeef, riwayat Tirmizi.
Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "A hypocrite will love Ali, and a believer will not hate him." (Ahmad, Tirmidhi). They (the scholars of Hadith) said: "This Hadith is Hasan Gharib with regards to its chain of narration." (Da'eef, narrated by Ahmad and Tirmidhi).
Grade: Da'if
ام سلمہ ؓ بیان کرتی ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ منافق شخص علی سے محبت کرے گا نہ مومن شخص ان سے دشمنی رکھے گا ۔‘‘ احمد ، ترمذی ، اور انہوں نے فرمایا : یہ حدیث سند کے لحاظ سے حسن غریب ہے ۔ ضعیف ، رواہ احمد و الترمذی ۔
Am Salma بیان کرتی ہیں ، رسول اللہ نے فرمایا :’’ منافق شخص علی سے محبت کرے گا نہ مومن شخص ان سے دشمنی رکھے گا ۔‘‘ احمد ، ترمذی ، اور انہوں نے فرمایا : یہ حدیث سند کے لحاظ سے حسن غریب ہے ۔ ضعیف ، رواہ احمد و الترمذی ۔
Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever abuses Ali, abuses me."
(This narration is weak. Narrated by Ahmad).
Grade: Da'if
ام سلمہ ؓ بیان کرتی ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ جس شخص نے علی کو برا بھلا کہا تو اس نے مجھے برا بھلا کہا ۔‘‘ اسنادہ ضعیف ، رواہ احمد ۔
Am Salmah بیان کرتی ہیں ، رسول اللہ نے فرمایا :’’ جس شخص نے Ali کو برا بھلا کہا تو اس نے مجھے برا بھلا کہا ۔‘‘ اسنادہ ضعیف ، رواہ Ahmad ۔.
Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “There is a resemblance between you and Jesus (peace be upon him). The Jews showed hostility towards him to the extent that they slandered his mother (Maryam, may Allah be pleased with her), while the Christians loved him to the extent that they raised him to a status he did not deserve." Then Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Two types of people will be destroyed regarding me (the truth): an excessive lover who will exaggerate about me with what is not in me, and a hateful enemy who will be led by his hatred to slander me." (This narration is weak, narrated by Ahmad).

علی ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ تم میں عیسیٰ ؑ کی ایک مشابہت ہے ، یہودی ان سے دشمنی رکھتے ہیں ، حتیٰ کہ وہ ان کی والدہ (مطہرہ) پر تہمت لگاتے ہیں جبکہ نصاریٰ ان سے محبت کرتے ہیں ، حتیٰ کہ انہوں نے انہیں ایسے مقام پر فائز کر دیا جس کے وہ حق دار نہیں ۔‘‘ پھر علی ؓ نے فرمایا : دو قسم کے لوگ میرے (حق کے) متعلق ہلاک ہو جائیں گے ، افراط سے کام لینے والا محبّ وہ میرے متعلق ایسا افراط کرے گا جو مجھ میں نہیں ہے ، اور دشمنی رکھنے والا کہ میری دشمنی اسے اس پر آمادہ کرے گی کہ وہ مجھ پر بہتان لگائے گا ۔ اسنادہ ضعیف ، رواہ احمد ۔
Ali bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah ne farmaya: ''Tum mein Isa ki aik mushabihit hai, yehudi un se dushmani rakhte hain, hatta ke woh un ki walida (mutahhira) per tohmat lagate hain jabke nasara un se mohabbat karte hain, hatta ke unhon ne unhen aise maqam per faiz kar diya jis ke woh haqdaar nahi. ''Phir Ali ne farmaya: Do qisam ke log mere (haq ke) mutalliq halaak ho jayenge, ifrat se kaam lene wala muhib woh mere mutalliq aisa ifrat karega jo mujh mein nahi hai, aur dushmani rakhne wala keh meri dushmani usay is per aamada karegi keh woh mujh per bohtan lagaye ga. It is narrated from Bara' bin 'Azib and Zaid bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with them) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stopped at Ghadir Khumm, he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) took the hand of Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and said, "Do you not know that I have more right over the believers than their own selves?" They said, "Why not! Certainly." Then he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Do you not know that I have more right over every believer than his own self?" They said, "Why not! Certainly." Then he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "O Allah! Whomsoever I am a friend of, Ali is his friend. O Allah! Befriend the one who befriends him, and make an enemy of the one who makes an enemy of him." After this, Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) met Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) and said to him, "O son of Abu Talib! Congratulations to you, you have become the friend of every believing man and every believing woman, morning and evening (at all times)."
Its chain of narration is weak. Narrated by Ahmad.

براء بن عازب اور زید بن ارقم ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے جب غدیر خم پر پڑاؤ ڈالا تو آپ ﷺ نے علی ؓ کا ہاتھ پکڑ کر فرمایا :’’ کیا تم نہیں جانتے کہ میرا مومنوں پر ان کی جانوں سے بھی زیادہ حق ہے ؟‘‘ انہوں نے کہا : کیوں نہیں ! ضرور ہے ، پھر فرمایا :’’ کیا تم نہیں جانتے کہ میرا ہر مومن پر اس کی جان سے بھی زیادہ حق ہے ؟‘‘ انہوں نے عرض کیا ، کیوں نہیں ! ضرور ہے ، پھر آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ اے اللہ ! میں جس شخص کا دوست ہوں علی اس کے دوست ہیں ، اے اللہ ! جو شخص اس کو دوست بنائے تو اسے دوست بنا ، اور جو شخص اس سے دشمنی رکھے تو انہیں دشمن بنا ۔‘‘ اس کے بعد عمر ؓ علی سے ملے تو انہوں نے علی ؓ سے کہا : ابن ابی طالب ! آپ کو مبارک ہو آپ صبح و شام (ہر وقت) ہر مومن اور ہر مومنہ کے دوست بن گئے ۔ اسنادہ ضعیف ، رواہ احمد ۔
Bara bin Aazib aur Zaid bin Arqam se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah ne jab Ghadir Khum par paradao dala to aap ne Ali ka hath pakar kar farmaya: kya tum nahin jante ki mera mominon par un ki jaano se bhi zyada haq hai? Unhon ne kaha: kyun nahin! Zarur hai, phir farmaya: kya tum nahin jante ki mera har momin par us ki jaan se bhi zyada haq hai? Unhon ne arz kiya, kyun nahin! Zarur hai, phir aap ne farmaya: aye Allah! Main jis shakhs ka dost hun Ali us ke dost hain, aye Allah! Jo shakhs is ko dost banaye to use dost bana, aur jo shakhs is se dushmani rakhe to unhen dushman bana. Is ke baad Umar Ali se mile to unhon ne Ali se kaha: Ibn Abi Talib! Aap ko mubarak ho aap subah o sham (har waqt) har momin aur har momina ke dost ban gaye. Isnadah zaeef, rawaah Ahmad.
Buraydah narrated: Abu Bakr and Umar proposed marriage to Fatimah, but the Messenger of Allah said: "She is too young." Then Ali proposed marriage to her, so he gave her in marriage to him.

بریدہ ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، ابوبکر و عمر ؓ نے فاطمہ ؓ سے شادی کا پیغام بھیجا تو رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ وہ تو چھوٹی (کم سن) ہیں ۔‘‘ پھر علی ؓ نے انہیں پیغام بھیجا تو آپ نے ان کی شادی ان سے کر دی ۔ اسنادہ صحیح ، رواہ النسائی ۔
Bareeda bayan karte hain, Abubakar o Umar ne Fatima se shadi ka paigham bheja to Rasul Allah ne farmaya: ''Woh to chhoti (kam sin) hain.'' Phir Ali ne unhen paigham bheja to aap ne un ki shadi un se kar di. Isnaad e Sahih, Riwayat al-Nisa'i.
It is narrated on the authority of Ibn Abbas that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered the closing of all the doors (of the mosque) except the door of Ali. Tirmidhi said: This hadith is gharib (strange). Hasan (Darussalam) said: It was narrated by Tirmidhi.

ابن عباس ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے باب علی کے سوا تمام دروازے بند کرنے کا حکم فرمایا ۔ ترمذی ، اور فرمایا : یہ حدیث غریب ہے ۔ حسن ، رواہ الترمذی ۔
Ibn Abbas RA se riwayat hai keh Rasul Allah SAW ne bab Ali ke siwa tamam darwaze band karne ka hukum farmaya. Tirmizi, aur farmaya: Yeh hadees ghareeb hai. Hasan, Rawah al-Tirmizi.
Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: My position with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was not like that of anyone else among the creation. I would come to him at the beginning of the time for the pre-dawn meal (the last sixth of the night), and I would say, "Peace be upon you, O Prophet of Allah." If he coughed, I would go back to my family. Otherwise, I would enter upon him.
The chain of narration is good. Narrated by al-Nasa'i.

علی ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ کے ہاں جو میرا مقام و مرتبہ تھا وہ مخلوق میں سے کسی اور کا نہیں تھا ، میں سحری کے اول وقت (رات کے آخری چھٹے حصے) میں آپ ﷺ کے پاس آتا تو میں کہتا ، اللہ کے نبی ! آپ پر سلامتی ہو ، اگر آپ کھانس دیتے تو میں اہل خانہ کے پاس واپس چلا جاتا ، ورنہ میں آپ کے ہاں داخل ہو جاتا ۔ اسنادہ حسن ، رواہ النسائی ۔
Ali bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah ke han jo mera maqam o martaba tha woh makhlooq mein se kisi aur ka nahi tha, main sehri ke awal waqt (raat ke aakhri chhate hisse) mein aap ke paas aata to main kehta, Allah ke Nabi! Aap per salamti ho, agar aap khans dete to main ehl khana ke paas wapas chala jata, warna main aap ke han dakhil ho jata. Isnadahu hasan, riwaya al-Nisa'i.
Ali ؓ narrates, "I was sick, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by me, and I was saying at that time, 'O Allah! If my time of death has come, then grant me comfort (through death), and if it is delayed, then grant me health, and if this is a trial, then grant me patience.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'What did you say?' I repeated it to you. You hit your foot on the ground and said: 'O Allah! Grant him safety.' Or you said: 'Heal him.' The narrator is doubtful. He narrates, 'After that, I did not feel any pain.'" (Tirmidhi). And he said: "This Hadith is Hasan Sahih." Its chain of narration is Hasan. It was narrated by Tirmidhi.

علی ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، میں مریض تھا ، رسول اللہ ﷺ میرے پاس سے گزرے ، اور اس وقت میں کہہ رہا تھا ، اے اللہ ! اگر میری موت کا وقت آ چکا ہے تو مجھے (موت کے ذریعے) راحت عطا فرما ، اور اگر ابھی دیر ہے تو پھر مجھے صحت عطا فرما ، اور اگر یہ آزمائش ہے تو پھر مجھے صبر عطا فرما ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ تم نے کیسے کہا ہے ؟‘‘ میں نے آپ کو دوبارہ سنا دیا ، آپ نے اسے اپنا پاؤں مارا اور فرمایا :’’ اے اللہ ! انہیں عافیت عطا فرما ۔‘‘ یا فرمایا :’’ اسے شفا عطا فرما ۔‘‘ راوی کو اس میں شک ہوا ہے ، وہ بیان کرتے ہیں ، اس کے بعد مجھے تکلیف نہیں ہوئی ۔ ترمذی ، اور فرمایا : یہ حدیث حسن صحیح ہے ۔ اسنادہ حسن ، رواہ الترمذی ۔
Ali bayan karte hain, main mareez tha, Rasul Allah mere pass se guzre, aur us waqt main keh raha tha, Aye Allah! Agar meri maut ka waqt aa chuka hai to mujhe (maut ke zariye) rahat ata farma, aur agar abhi dair hai to phir mujhe sehat ata farma, aur agar ye azmaish hai to phir mujhe sabar ata farma, Rasul Allah ne farmaya: ''Tumne kaise kaha hai?'' Maine aap ko dobara suna diya, aap ne use apna paon mara aur farmaya: ''Aye Allah! Inhen afait ata farma.'' Ya farmaya: ''Ise shifa ata farma.'' Rawi ko is mein shak hua hai, woh bayan karte hain, is ke baad mujhe takleef nahin hui. Tirmidhi, aur farmaya: Ye hadees hasan sahih hai. Isnada hasan, Rawah al-Tirmidhi.
