Ubaid bin Tamim narrated from his paternal uncle that I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in the mosque, sitting with one leg on top of the other.

عباد بن تمیم اپنے چچا سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو مسجد میں ایک ٹانگ پر دوسری ٹانگ رکھے ہوئے دیکھا۔
Ibad bin Tamim apne chacha se riwayat karte hain ki maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko masjid mein ek tang par dusri tang rakhe hue dekha.
'Amr bin Yahya reported from his father that his grandfather asked Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zaid bin Asim, the companion (of the Prophet), "Could you show me how the Prophet (peace be upon him) used to perform ablution?" He replied, "Yes." He then asked for water for ablution and poured it on his hands, washed them twice, rinsed his mouth and nose three times each, washed his face three times, washed his arms up to the elbows twice, wiped his head with both hands, moving them forward and backward - he started from the front of his head and moved his hands to the nape of his neck, then back to the place where he had started. Then he washed his feet.

عمرو بن یحییٰ اپنے والد سے نقل کرتے ہیں کہ ان کے دادا نے سیدنا عبداللہ بن زید بن عاصم جو کہ صحابی تھے، سے پوچھا کہ کیا آپ مجھے دکھا سکتے ہیں کہ نبی ﷺ کسی طرح وضو فرماتے تھے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا: ہاں! پھر انہوں نے وضو کا پانی منگوا کر اپنے ہاتھ پر ڈالا، اسے دو مرتبہ دھویا، تین تین مرتبہ کلی اور ناک میں پانی ڈالا، تین مرتبہ چہرہ دھویا، دو مرتبہ کہنیوں تک ہاتھ دھوئے، دونوں ہاتھوں سے سر کا مسح کرتے ہوئے انہیں آگے پیچھے لے گئے، سر کے اگلے حصے سے مسح کا آغاز کیا اور گدی تک ہاتھ لے گئے پھر واپس اسی جگہ پر لے گئے جہاں سے مسح کا آغاز کیا تھا، پھر اپنے پاؤں دھوئے۔

Phir unhon ne wuzu ka pani mangwa kar apne hath par dala, use do martaba dhoya, teen teen martaba kuli aur nak mein pani dala, teen martaba chehra dhoya, do martaba kahniyon tak hath dhoye, donon hathon se sar ka masah karte huye unhen aage peeche le gaye, sar ke agle hisse se masah ka aghaz kiya aur gaddi tak hath le gaye phir wapas usi jagah par le gaye jahan se masah ka aghaz kiya tha, phir apne paon dhoye.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zaid, may Allah be pleased with him, that once the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, went out for the prayer for rain, and on that occasion, he had reversed his cloak.

On this occasion, he turned his cloak inside out while facing the Qibla, and he prayed two rak'ahs, reciting aloud.

On this occasion, he turned his cloak inside out while facing the Qibla and recited in a loud voice and offered two rak'ahs of prayer.

It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would wipe his head with both his hands, moving them back and forth. He would begin wiping from the front of his head, bring his hands to the back (near the nape of his neck), and then bring them back to the place where he started.

It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zaid, may Allah be pleased with him, that once the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, went out for the prayer for rain. On this occasion, he turned towards the Qibla and reversed his cloak. He then recited in a loud voice and prayed two rak'ahs.

It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) that one day I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performing ablution. He wiped his head with fresh water, besides the moisture remaining on his hands from washing them.

It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zaid, may Allah be pleased with him, that once the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, performed ablution and then wiped his limbs.

Narrated `Abdullah bin Zaid: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "A new ablution becomes obligatory in case you feel wind pass or hear a sound."

Narrated by Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zaid, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: Sayyiduna Ibrahim declared Makkah al-Mukarramah as a sanctuary and prayed for it, and I declare Madinah al-Munawwarah as a sanctuary, just as Sayyiduna Ibrahim declared Makkah al-Mukarramah, and I pray for the people of Madinah for blessings in their Mudd and Sa'a, just as Sayyiduna Ibrahim prayed for the people of Makkah.

سیدنا عبداللہ بن زید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: سیدنا ابراہیم نے مکہ مکر مہ کو حرم قرار دیا تھا اور اس کے لئے دعا فرمائی تھی اور مدینہ منورہ کو میں حرم قرار دیتا ہوں، اسی طرح جیسے سیدنا ابراہیم نے مکہ مکر مہ کو قرار دیا تھا اور میں اسی طرح اہل مدینہ کے لئے ان کے مد اور صاع میں برکت کی دعاء کرتا ہوں جیسے سیدنا ابراہیم نے اہل مکہ کے لئے دعاء مانگی تھی۔

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Do not leave [your prayer] until you smell an odor or hear a sound.

Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: Iss waqt tak wapas na jao jab tak tum boo mehsoos karne lago ya aawaz sun lo.

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zaid (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Namaz Istisqa ke liye nikle, is mauqa par qibla ki taraf rukh kar ke aap ne apni chadar palat li thi aur buland aawaz se qirat kar ke do rakaten parhayi thin.
Amr bin Yahya reported from his father that his grandfather asked Abdullah bin Zaid bin Asim, the Companion of the Prophet, "Can you show me how the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to perform ablution?" He said, "Yes." Then he asked for water for ablution and poured it on his hands, washed them twice, rinsed his mouth and nose three times each, washed his face three times, washed his arms up to the elbows twice, wiped his head with both hands, moving them back and forth, starting from the front of the head and reaching the nape of the neck and then bringing them back to the place where he had started. Then he washed his feet and said, "This is how I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performing ablution."

عمرو بن یحییٰ اپنے والد سے نقل کرتے ہیں کہ ان کے دادا نے حضرت عبداللہ بن زید بن عاصم جو کہ صحابی تھے، سے پوچھا کہ کیا آپ مجھے دکھا سکتے ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کسی طرح وضو فرماتے تھے ؟ انہوں نے فرمایا ہاں ! پھر انہوں نے وضو کا پانی منگوا کر اپنے ہاتھ پر ڈالا، اسے دو مرتبہ دھویا، تین تین مرتبہ کلی اور ناک میں پانی ڈالا، تین مرتبہ چہرہ دھویا، دو مرتبہ کہنیوں تک ہاتھ دھوئے، دونوں ہاتھوں سے سر کا مسح کرتے ہوئے انہیں آگے پیچھے لے گئے، سر کے اگلے حصے سے مسح کا آغاز کیا اور گدی تک ہاتھ لے گئے پھر واپس اسی جگہ پر لے گئے جہاں سے مسح کا آغاز کیا تھا، پھر اپنے پاؤں دھوئے اور فرمایا کہ میں نے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو اسی طرح وضو کرتے ہوئے دیکھا ہے۔

Phir unhon ne wuzu ka pani mangwa kar apne hath par dala, usay do martaba dhoya, teen teen martaba kuli aur nak mein pani dala, teen martaba chehra dhoya, do martaba kahniyon tak hath dhoye, donon hathon se sar ka masah karte hue unhen aage peeche le gaye, sar ke agle hisse se masah ka aaghaz kiya aur gaddi tak hath le gaye phir wapas usi jagah par le gaye jahan se masah ka aaghaz kiya tha, phir apne paon dhoye aur farmaya ke maine Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ko isi tarah wuzu karte hue dekha hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The area between my house and my pulpit is one of the gardens of Paradise.

Ubaid bin Tamim narrated from his father, "I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performing ablution, and he was wiping his feet with water."

عباد بن تمیم اپنے والد سے نقل کرتے ہیں کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو وضو کرتے ہوئے دیکھا ہے، آپ پانی سے اپنے پاؤں پر مسح فرما رہے تھے۔

It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zaid, may Allah be pleased with him, that once the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, went out for the prayer for rain. On this occasion, he turned his cloak inside out while facing the Qibla. The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, stood and continued to supplicate, and then it rained.

سیدنا عبداللہ بن زید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نماز استستقاء کے لئے نکلے، اس موقع پر قبلہ کا رخ کر کے آپ نے اپنی چادر پلٹ لی تھی، نبی ﷺ کھڑے ہو کر دعاء فرماتے رہے چنانچہ بارش ہو گئی۔

Narrated Abdullah bin Zaid: The Prophet (ﷺ) came to our house and I brought water to him for ablution. He washed his face three times, washed his forearms up to the elbows twice, passed wet hands over his head from front to back and brought them back to the front from where he had started, and he wiped his ears and passed wet fingers between his toes (during the ablution).

سیدنا عبداللہ بن زید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ ہمارے یہاں تشریف لائے میں نے پانی پیش کیا تو آپ وضو فرمانے لگے، آپ نے تین مرتبہ چہرہ دھویا، دو مرتبہ کہنیوں تک ہاتھ دھوئے، دونوں ہاتھوں سے سر کا مسح کرتے ہوئے انہیں آگے پیچھے لے گئے، سر کے اگلے حصے سے مسح کا آغاز کیا اور گدی تک ہاتھ لے گئے پھر واپس اسی جگہ پر لے گئے جہاں سے مسح کا آغاز کیا تھا، کانوں کا مسح کیا پھر اپنے پاؤں دھوئے۔
Sayyidna Abdullah bin Zaid (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) hamare yahan tashreef laaye mein ne pani pesh kiya to aap wuzu farmane lage, aap ne teen martaba chehra dhoya, do martaba kahniyon tak hath dhoye, donon hathon se sar ka masah karte huye unhen aage peeche le gaye, sar ke agle hisse se masah ka aghaz kiya aur gadi tak hath le gaye phir wapas usi jagah par le gaye jahan se masah ka aghaz kiya tha, kanon ka masah kiya phir apne paon dhoye.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) that one day I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performing ablution. He wiped his head with fresh water besides the moisture remaining on his hands after wiping his head.

سیدنا عبداللہ بن زید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک دن میں نے نبی ﷺ کو وضو کرتے ہوئے دیکھا، آپ نے سر کا مسح ہاتھوں پر بچے ہوئے پانی کی تری کے علاوہ نئے پانی سے فرمایا:۔
Sayyidna Abdullah bin Zaid (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki aik din mein ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko wuzu karte huye dekha, aap ne sar ka masah hathon par bache huye pani ki tari ke ilawa naye pani se farmaya.
Narrated by Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The area between my house and my pulpit is one of the gardens of Paradise, and my pulpit will be at a gate of Paradise."

سیدنا عبداللہ بن زید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: میرے گھر اور میرے منبر کے درمیان کی جگہ باغات جنت میں سے ایک باغ ہے اور میرا منبر جنت کے ایک دروازے پر ہو گا۔
Sayyidina Abdullah bin Zaid (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: mere ghar aur mere mimbar ke darmiyaan ki jagah bagh jannat mein se ek bagh hai aur mera mimbar jannat ke ek darwaze par ho ga.
Narrated Abdullah bin Zaid: I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performing ablution in Dhuha. He rinsed his mouth, inhaled water through his nostrils, washed his face three times, washed his right hand up to the elbow three times, then wiped his head, and washed his feet up to the ankles with fresh water after the water remained from washing his hands.

سیدنا عبداللہ بن زید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک دن میں نے نبی ﷺ کو جحفہ میں وضو کرتے ہوئے دیکھا، آپ نے کلی کی، ناک میں پانی ڈالا، تین مرتبہ چہرہ دھویا، تین مرتبہ داہنا ہاتھ دھویا، پھر سر کا مسح ہاتھوں پر بچے ہوئے پانی کی تری کے علاوہ نئے پانی سے فرمایا: پھر خوب اچھی طرح دونوں پاؤں دھو لئے۔
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zaid (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki aik din mein ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko Jahfa mein wazu karte huye dekha, aap ne kulli ki, nak mein pani dala, teen martaba chehra dhoya, teen martaba dahna hath dhoya, phir sar ka masah hathon par bache huye pani ki tari ke ilawa naye pani se farmaya: phir khoob acchi tarah donon paon dho liye.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zaid, may Allah be pleased with him, that once the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, went out for the prayer for seeking rain. On that occasion, he turned his cloak (while facing the Qibla) and prayed two rak'ahs, reciting aloud.

He was wearing a black shawl at that time. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) wanted to turn its lower part upwards, but it was difficult. So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) turned the right side to the left and the left side to the right.

سیدنا عبداللہ بن زید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے نماز استسقاء پڑھائی آپ نے اس وقت ایک سیاہ چادر اوڑھ رکھی تھی، نبی ﷺ نے اس کے نچلے حصے کو اوپر کی طرف کرنا چاہا لیکن مشکل ہو گیا، تو نبی ﷺ نے دائیں جانب کو بائیں طرف اور بائیں جانب کو دائیں طرف کر لیا۔
Sayyidna Abdullah bin Zaid razi Allah anhu se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne namaz istisqa parhayi aap ne us waqt ek siyah chadar odh rakhi thi, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne uske niche hisse ko upar ki taraf karna chaha lekin mushkil ho gaya, to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne dayen janib ko baen taraf aur baen janib ko dayen taraf kar liya.
Yahya relates that at the time of the Harrah, a person said to Abdullah bin Zaid, may Allah be pleased with him, “Come! Let’s go to Ibn Hanzalah who is taking a pledge from the people.” He asked, “What pledge is he taking?” It was said, “A pledge unto death.” He replied, “After the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), I cannot pledge allegiance to anyone on that.”

یحییٰ کہتے ہیں کہ کسی شخص نے حرہ کے موقع پر سیدنا عبداللہ بن زید رضی اللہ عنہ سے کہا آیئے! ابن حنظلہ کے پاس چلیں جو لوگوں سے بیعت لے رہا ہے، انہوں نے پوچھا کہ وہ کس چیز پر بیعت لے رہا ہے؟ بتایا گیا کہ موت پر، انہوں نے فرمایا کہ نبی ﷺ کے بعد میں کسی شخص سے اس پر بیعت نہیں کر سکتا۔
Yahya kehte hain ke kisi shakhs ne Harah ke mauqe par Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zaid (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se kaha aaiye! Ibn Hanzalah ke paas chalen jo logon se bai'at le raha hai, unhon ne poocha ke woh kis cheez par bai'at le raha hai? Bataya gaya ke maut par, unhon ne farmaya ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke baad main kisi shakhs se is par bai'at nahin kar sakta.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) that once, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) washed the limbs of wudu twice each while performing ablution.

سیدنا عبداللہ بن زید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے وضو کرتے ہوئے اعضاء وضو کو دو دو مرتبہ بھی دھویا تھا۔
Sayyidina Abdullah bin Zaid Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne wuzu karte huye aazaa wuzu ko do do martaba bhi dhoya tha.
Narrated by Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zaid, who was among the companions present at the Battle of Uhud, he said: Once, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went out to offer Salat al-Istisqa (prayer for rain). I saw him make a long supplication and earnestly beseech Allah. Then, he turned towards the Qibla and reversed his cloak, bringing the outer part inwards and the inner part outwards. The people also did the same.

سیدنا عبداللہ بن زید جو شرکاء احد میں سے ہیں سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نماز استستقاء کے لئے نکلے، میں نے دیکھا کہ اس موقع پر آپ نے لمبی دعاء کی اور خوب سوال کیا، پھر آپ نے قبلہ کا رخ کر کے اپنی چادر پلٹ لی اور باہر والے حصے کو اندر والے حصے سے بدل لیا، لوگوں نے بھی اسی طرح کیا۔
Sayyidna Abdullah bin Zaid jo shuraka Uhud mein se hain se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) namaz istasqa ke liye nikle, maine dekha ki is mauqe par aap ne lambi dua ki aur khoob sawal kiya, phir aap ne qibla ka rukh kar ke apni chadar palat li aur bahar wale hisse ko andar wale hisse se badal liya, logon ne bhi isi tarah kiya.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zaid, may Allah be pleased with him, that once the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, went out for the prayer for rain and he reversed his cloak, turning it inside out, while facing the Qiblah.

Narrated by Abdullah bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) that one day I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performing ablution in Jihfah. He rinsed his mouth, sniffed water into his nose, washed his face three times, washed his right hand three times, then wiped his head (with water) including the moisture remaining on his hands from the fresh water, saying: then he washed both his feet well.

It is narrated on the authority of Abdullah bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went out for the prayer for rain. On this occasion, he turned towards the Qibla, reversed his cloak, recited in a loud voice, and offered two rak'ahs.

It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went out for the prayer for rain (Salatul Istisqa). On this occasion, he turned his cloak inside out while facing the Qibla, and prayed two rak'ahs, reciting aloud.

It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the occasion of the Battle of Hunayn, when Allah Almighty bestowed the spoils of war upon the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): He distributed it among those who were among the people whose hearts were to be reconciled (to Islam), and did not give anything from it to the Ansar. Apparently, the Ansar felt that they did not receive what others received. When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to know of this, he addressed them in a sermon, saying: "O group of Ansar! Did I not find you astray and Allah guided you through me, and made you rich through me?" To all these statements, the Ansar only kept saying, "Allah and His Messenger have great favor (upon us)." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "What is the matter, you do not give any reply?" They again said, "Allah and His Messenger have great favor (upon us)." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "If you wished, you could have said such and such, that you came to us in such and such a state. Are you not pleased that people should take away goats and camels, and you take the Messenger of Allah with you to your homes? If there had been no Hijrah (migration), I would have been one of the Ansar. If the people were to follow one path and the Ansar another, I would follow the path of the Ansar. The Ansar are like the garment close to my body, and the rest of the people are like the outer garment. You will see preferences after me, so be patient now till you meet me at the Haud (the Cistern of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in Paradise)."

سیدنا عبداللہ بن زید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ غزوہ حنین کے موقع پر اللہ تعالیٰ نے نبی ﷺ کو جب مال غنیمت عطاء فرمایا: تو آپ نے اسے ان لوگوں میں تقسیم کر دیا جو مؤلفۃ القلوب میں سے تھے اور انصار کو اس میں سے کچھ بھی نہیں دیا، غالباً اس چیز کو انصار نے محسوس کیا کہ انہیں وہ نہیں ملا جو دوسرے لوگوں کو مل گیا، نبی ﷺ کو معلوم ہوا تو آپ نے ان کے سامنے خطبہ دیتے ہوئے ارشاد فرمایا: اے گروہ انصار! کیا میں نے تمہیں گم کر دہ راہ نہیں پایا کہ اللہ نے میرے ذریعے تمہیں غنی کر دیا؟ ان تمام باتوں کے جواب میں انصار صرف یہی کہتے رہے کہ اللہ اور اس کے رسول کا بہت بڑا احسان ہے، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: کیا بات ہے، تم کوئی جواب نہیں دیتے؟ انہوں نے پھر یہی کہا کہ اللہ اور اس کے رسول کا بہت بڑا احسان ہے، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: اگر تم چاہتے تو یوں بھی کہہ سکتے تھے کہ آپ ہمارے پاس اس اس حال میں آئے تھے وغیرہ، کیا تم اس بات پر راضی نہیں کہ لوگ بکری اور اونٹ لے جائیں اور تم اپنے خیموں میں پیغمبر اللہ کو لے جاؤ، اگر ہجرت نہ ہو تی تو میں انصار ہی کا ایک فرد ہوتا، اگر لوگ کسی ایک راستے پر چل رہے ہوں تو میں انصار کے راستے پر چلوں گا، انصار میرے جسم کا لگا ہوا کپڑا ہیں اور باقی لوگ اوپر کا کپڑا ہیں اور تم میرے بعد ترجیحات دیکھو گے، سو اس وقت تم صبر کرنا یہاں تک کہ مجھ سے حوض پر آملو۔
Sayyidna Abdullah bin Zaid razi Allah anhu se marvi hai ki Ghazwa Hunain ke mauqe par Allah ta'ala ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko jab mal ghanimat ata farmaya to aap ne use un logon mein taqsim kar diya jo mulaffatul qulub mein se the aur Ansar ko is mein se kuchh bhi nahin diya ghaliban is cheez ko Ansar ne mehsoos kiya ki unhen wo nahin mila jo dusre logon ko mil gaya Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko maloom hua to aap ne un ke samne khutba dete hue irshad farmaya ae giroh Ansar kya main ne tumhen gum kar diya rah nahin paya ki Allah ne mere zarye tumhen ghani kar diya in tamam baaton ke jawab mein Ansar sirf yahi kahte rahe ki Allah aur uske Rasul ka bahut bada ehsan hai Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya kya baat hai tum koi jawab nahin dete unhon ne phir yahi kaha ki Allah aur uske Rasul ka bahut bada ehsan hai Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya agar tum chahte to yun bhi kah sakte the ki aap hamare pas is is hal mein aaye the waghera kya tum is baat par razi nahin ki log bakri aur unt le jayen aur tum apne khaimon mein Paighambar Allah ko le jao agar hijrat na ho ti to main Ansar hi ka ek fard hota agar log kisi ek raste par chal rahe hon to main Ansar ke raste par chalunga Ansar mere jism ka laga hua kapda hain aur baqi log upar ka kapda hain aur tum mere baad tarjihat dekhoge so is waqt tum sabr karna yahan tak ki mujh se hauz par aamlo.
Yahya narrates that, on the occasion of Harrah, a man said to Sayyiduna Abdullah Ibn Zaid, may Allah be pleased with him, "Come! Let's go to Ibn Hanzalah, who is taking bay'ah (allegiance) from people." He (Abdullah Ibn Zaid) asked, "On what basis is he taking bay'ah?" It was said, "On (fighting to) death." He replied, "After the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, I cannot pledge allegiance to anyone on that."

یحییٰ کہتے ہیں کہ کسی شخص نے حرہ کے موقع پر سیدنا عبداللہ بن زید رضی اللہ عنہ سے کہا آئیے! ابن حنظلہ کے پاس چلیں جو لوگوں سے بیعت لے رہا ہے، انہوں نے پوچھا کہ وہ کس چیز پر بیعت لے رہا ہے؟ بتایا گیا کہ موت پر، انہوں نے فرمایا کہ نبی ﷺ کے بعد میں کسی شخص سے اس پر بیعت نہیں کر سکتا۔
Yahya kehte hain ke kisi shakhs ne Harrah ke mauqe par Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zaid (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se kaha aaiye! Ibn Hanzalah ke paas chalen jo logon se bai't le raha hai, unhon ne poocha ke woh kis cheez par bai't le raha hai? Bataya gaya ke maut par, unhon ne farmaya ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke baad mein kisi shakhs se is par bai't nahin kar sakta.
Narrated by Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) that once, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) led the prayer for rain. He was wearing a black shawl and wanted to reverse it, bringing the lower part to the top, but it was difficult. So, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) switched it, bringing the right side to the left and the left side to the right.

سیدنا عبداللہ بن زید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے نماز استسقاء پڑھائی آپ نے اس وقت ایک سیاہ چادر اوڑھ رکھی تھی، نبی ﷺ نے اس کے نچلے حصے کو اوپر کی طرف کرنا چاہا لیکن مشکل ہو گیا، تو نبی ﷺ نے دائیں جانب کو بائیں طرف اور بائیں جانب کو دائیں طرف کر لیا۔
Sayyidna Abdullah bin Zaid (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Namaz-e-Istisqa parhayi aap ne us waqt ek siyah chadar odh rakhi thi, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne uske niche hisse ko upar ki taraf karna chaha lekin mushkil ho gaya, to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne dayen janib ko baen taraf aur baen janib ko dayen taraf kar liya.
