Narrated by Numan bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Halal (lawful) is clear and Haram (forbidden) is clear, and between them are doubtful matters. Whoever leaves these doubtful matters will easily avoid the Haram, and the Haram of Allah are His pastures. Whoever grazes his animals around the pasture fears that they may enter it.”

حضرت نعمان بن بشیر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا حلال بھی واضح ہے اور حرام بھی واضح ہے ان دونوں کے درمیان جو کچھ ہے وہ متشابہات ہیں جو شخص ان متشابہات کو چھوڑ دے گا وہ حرام کو بآسانی چھوڑ سکے گا اور اللہ کے محرمات اس کی چراگاہیں ہیں اور جو شخص چراگاہ کے آس پاس اپنے جانوروں کو چراتا ہے اندیشہ ہوتا ہے کہ وہ چراگاہ میں گھس جائے۔
Hazrat Noman bin Bashir Razi Allah Anhu se marvi hai keh Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya halal bhi wazeh hai aur haram bhi wazeh hai in donon ke darmiyan jo kuch hai wo mutashabihat hain jo shakhs in mutashabihat ko chhor dega wo haram ko baasani chhor sakega aur Allah ke muharramat uski charagahen hain aur jo shakhs charagah ke aas paas apne janwaron ko charata hai andesha hota hai ke wo charagah mein ghus jaye.
Narrated by Numan bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The best of people are those of my generation, then those who follow them, then those who follow them, then those who follow them. Then there will come a people whose testimony will precede their oaths, and their oaths will precede their testimony.”

حضرت نعمان بن بشیر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا بہترین لوگ میرے زمانے کے ہیں پھر ان کے بعد والے پھر ان کے بعد والے پھر ان کے بعد والے اس کے بعد ایک ایسی قوم آئے گی جن کی قسم گواہی پر اور گواہی قسم پر سبقت لے جائے گی۔
Hazrat Noman bin Bashir RA se marvi hai keh Rasul Allah SAW ne irshad farmaya behtarin log mere zamane ke hain phir un ke baad wale phir un ke baad wale phir un ke baad wale us ke baad ek aisi qaum ayegi jin ki qasam gawahi per aur gawahi qasam per sabaqat le jayegi.
Narrated by Numan bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The best of people are those of my generation, then those who come after them, then those who come after them, then those who come after them. Then there will come a people who will swear oaths before their testimony, and their testimony will be before their oaths.”

حضرت نعمان بن بشیر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا بہترین لوگ میرے زمانے کے ہیں پھر ان کے بعد والے پھر ان کے بعد والے پھر ان کے بعد والے اس کے بعد ایک ایسی قوم آئے گی جن کی قسم گواہی پر اور گواہی قسم پر سبقت لے جائے گی۔

It is narrated on the authority of Nu'man (may Allah be pleased with him) that wine is made from grapes, dates, wheat, barley, and honey.

حضرت نعمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے مرفوعاً مروی ہے کہ شراب کشمش کی بھی بنتی ہے کھجور کی بھی، گندم کی بھی، جو کی بھی اور شہد کی بھی ہوتی ہے۔
Hazrat Noman Radi Allaho Anho se marfoan marvi hai ke sharab kishmish ki bhi banti hai khajoor ki bhi, gandam ki bhi, jau ki bhi aur shahad ki bhi hoti hai.
It is narrated by Noman (may Allah be pleased with him) that once during the blessed era of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), a solar eclipse occurred. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would offer two rak'ahs of prayer and inquire about the situation from the people. Then he would offer another two rak'ahs and inquire again. This continued until the sun was fully bright. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "During the times of ignorance, people used to say that if an eclipse occurred to the sun or the moon, it was due to the death of some great person among the people of the earth. However, there is no such thing. Both of these are creations of Allah. In fact, when Allah Almighty manifests His glory upon His creation, they bow down before Him."

حضرت نعمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ کے دور باسعادت میں ایک مرتبہ سورج گرہن ہوگیا نبی کریم ﷺ دو رکعت نماز پڑھتے اور لوگوں سے صورت حال دریافت کرتے، پھر دو رکعت پڑھتے اور صورت حال دریافت کرتے حتیٰ کہ سورج مکمل روشن ہوگیا نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا زمانہ جاہلیت میں لوگ کہتے ہیں کہ اگر چاند اور سورج میں سے کسی ایک کو گرہن لگ جائے تو وہ اہل زمین میں سے کسی بڑے آدمی کی موت کی وجہ سے ہوتا ہے حالانکہ ایسی کوئی بات نہیں یہ دونوں تو اللہ کی مخلوق ہیں البتہ جب اللہ تعالیٰ اپنی مخلوق پر اپنی تجلی ظاہر فرماتا ہے تو وہ اس کے سامنے جھک جاتی ہے۔
Hazrat Noman Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ke daur e basadat mein ek martaba Suraj Girahan hogaya. Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam do rakat namaz parhte aur logon se surat e hal daryaft karte, phir do rakat parhte aur surat e hal daryaft karte hatta keh Suraj mukammal roshan hogaya. Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne farmaya zamana jahiliyat mein log kehte hain keh agar Chand aur Suraj mein se kisi ek ko Girahan lag jaye to wo ahl e zameen mein se kisi bade aadmi ki mout ki waja se hota hai. Halanky aisi koi baat nahi ye donon to Allah ki makhlooq hain. Albatta jab Allah Ta'ala apni makhlooq par apni tajalli zahir farmata hai to wo uske samne jhuk jati hai.
It is narrated by Nu'man (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Dua (supplication) is the essence of worship." Then the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) recited this verse, "Call upon Me, I will respond to your prayer. Those who are too proud to worship Me..."

حضرت نعمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا دعاء ہی اصل عبادت ہے پھر نبی کریم ﷺ نے یہ آیت تلاوت فرمائی مجھ سے دعاء مانگو، میں تمہاری دعاء قبول کروں گا جو لوگ میری عبادت سے تکبر برتتے ہیں۔۔۔۔۔
Hazrat Numaan Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya Dua hi asl ibadat hai phir Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne yeh ayat tilawat farmaee mujhse dua maango, main tumhari dua qubool karunga jo log meri ibadat se takabbur barte hain.....
It is narrated by Numan (may Allah be pleased with him) that once, after the Isha prayer, we were still in the mosque when the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) arrived. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) looked up at the sky and then lowered his gaze. We thought that perhaps some new event had been revealed in the sky. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Remember! After me, there will be some lying and oppressive rulers. Whoever considers their lies to be true and cooperates with them in their oppression, then he has nothing to do with me, and I have nothing to do with him. And whoever does not consider their lies to be true and does not cooperate with them in their oppression, then he is from me, and I am from him. Remember! The blood of a Muslim is his expiation. Remember! Subhan Allah, Alhamdulillah, La ilaha illallah and Allahu Akbar are the remaining good deeds.”

حضرت نعمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ ہم لوگ نماز عشاء کے بعد مسجد ہی میں تھے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ تشریف لے آئے نبی کریم ﷺ نے آسمان کی طرف نظر اٹھا کر دیکھا پھر نظریں جھکالیں، ہم سمجھے کہ شاید آسمان میں کوئی نیا واقعہ رونما ہوا ہے نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا یاد رکھو! میرے بعد کچھ جھوٹے اور ظالم حکمران بھی آئیں گے جو شخص ان کے جھوٹ کو سچ اور ان کے ظلم پر تعاون کرے اس کا مجھ سے اور میرا اس سے کوئی تعلق نہیں اور جو ان کے جھوٹ کو سچ اور ظلم پر تعاون نہ کرے تو وہ مجھ سے ہے اور میں اس سے ہوں یاد رکھو! مسلمان کا خون اس کا کفارہ ہے یاد رکھو! سبحان اللہ، الحمدللہ، لا الہ الا اللہ اور اللہ اکبر ہی باقیات صالحات (باقی رہنے والی نیکیاں) ہیں۔
Hazrat Noman Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai ki ek martaba hum log namaz Isha ke baad masjid hi mein thay ki Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam tashreef le aaye Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne asman ki taraf nazar utha kar dekha phir nazrein jhuka lein, hum samjhe ki shayad asman mein koi naya waqea ronuma hua hai Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya yaad rakho! mere baad kuch jhoote aur zaalim hakmaran bhi ayenge jo shaks unke jhoot ko sach aur unke zulm par taawun kare iska mujhse aur mera is se koi taluq nahi aur jo unke jhoot ko sach aur zulm par taawun na kare to wo mujhse hai aur mein is se hun yaad rakho! Musalman ka khoon iska kaffara hai yaad rakho! Subhan Allah, Alhamdulillah, La Ilaha Illallah aur Allahu Akbar hi baqayat salehat (baqi rahne wali nekiyan) hain.
It is narrated by Numan (may Allah be pleased with him) that his father gave him a gift. My mother said to him, "Make someone a witness to this gift for my son." My father went to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and mentioned this matter to him. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked him, "Have you given to all your sons like you have given to him?" He replied, "No." So the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not consider it appropriate to be a witness to it.

حضرت نعمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ان کے والد نے انہیں کوئی تحفہ دیا ان سے میری والدہ نے کہا کہ اس عطیے پر میرے بیٹے کے لئے کسی کو گواہ بنالو میرے والد نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے اور اس معاملے کا ذکر کردیا نبی کریم ﷺ نے ان سے فرمایا کیا تم نے اپنے سارے بیٹوں کو بھی اسی طرح دے دیا ہے جیسے اسے دیا ہے؟ انہوں نے کہا نہیں تو نبی کریم ﷺ نے اس کا گواہ بننے کو اچھا نہیں سمجھا۔
Hazrat Noman Radi Allaho Anho Se Marvi Hai Ke Un Ke Walid Ne Unhen Koi Tohfa Diya Un Se Meri Walida Ne Kaha Ke Iss Atiye Par Mere Bete Ke Liye Kisi Ko Gawah Bana Lo Mere Walid Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam Ki Khidmat Mein Hazir Huye Aur Iss Mamle Ka Zikar Kar Diya Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam Ne Un Se Farmaya Kiya Tum Ne Apne Sare Beton Ko Bhi Isi Tarah De Diya Hai Jaise Ise Diya Hai Unhon Ne Kaha Nahi To Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam Ne Iss Ka Gawah Ban-ne Ko Achcha Nahi Samjha.
Narrated by Numan (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "The example of the believers is like that of a body, if one part of the body suffers, the whole body feels the pain."

حضرت نعمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا مؤمن کی مثال جسم کی سی ہے کہ اگر انسان کے سر کو تکلیف ہوتی ہے تو سارے جسم کو تکلیف کا احساس ہوتا ہے۔
Hazrat Noman (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai keh Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya momin ki misal jism ki si hai keh agar insan ke sar ko takleef hoti hai to sare jism ko takleef ka ehsas hota hai.
Samak bin Harb (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I heard Nauman bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) say on the pulpit of Kufa, "By Allah! The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would sometimes go for a whole month without filling his stomach with even dates, and you people are not satisfied without dates and butter."

سماک بن حرب رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے حضرت نعمان بن بشیر رضی اللہ عنہ کو کوفہ کے منبر پر یہ کہتے ہوئے سنا اللہ کی قسم! نبی کریم ﷺ نے تو ایک ایک مہینہ تک کبھی ردی کھجور سے اپنا پیٹ نہیں بھرا اور تم لوگ کھجور اور مکھن کے رنگوں پر ہی راضی ہو کر نہیں دیتے۔
Samak bin Harb rehmatullah alaih kehte hain ki maine Hazrat Noman bin Bashir razi Allah anhu ko Kufa ke mimbar par ye kehte huye suna Allah ki kasam! Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne to ek ek mahina tak kabhi raddi khajoor se apna pet nahin bhara aur tum log khajoor aur makhan ke rangon par hi razi ho kar nahin dete.
Samak bin Harb (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I heard Nauman bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) saying on the pulpit of Kufa: “By Allah! The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) never filled his stomach with inferior quality dates even for a month.”

سماک بن حرب رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے حضرت نعمان بن بشیر رضی اللہ عنہ کو کوفہ کے منبر پر یہ کہتے ہوئے سنا اللہ کی قسم! نبی کریم ﷺ نے تو ایک ایک مہینہ تک کبھی ردی کھجور سے اپنا پیٹ نہیں بھرا۔

Nauman (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: My father gave me a gift. My mother said to me, “Take a witness from among the people for this gift given to my son.” My father went to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and mentioned this matter to him. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked him, "Have you given (a similar gift) to all your sons like him?" He replied, "No." So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Go back."

حضرت نعمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ان کے والدنے انہیں کوئی تحفہ دیا ان سے میری والدہ نے کہا کہ اس عطیے پر میرے بیٹے کے لئے کسی کو گواہ بنالو میرے والد نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے اور اس معاملے کا ذکر کردیا نبی کریم ﷺ نے ان سے فرمایا کیا تم نے اپنے سارے بیٹوں کو بھی اسی طرح دے دیا ہے جیسے اسے دیا ہے؟ انہوں نے کہا نہیں تو نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا واپس چلے جاؤ۔
Hazrat Numaan (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki un ke wald ne unhen koi tohfa diya un se meri walida ne kaha ki is atiye par mere bete ke liye kisi ko gawah bana lo mere wald Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir hue aur is mamle ka zikar kar diya Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne un se farmaya kya tum ne apne sare beton ko bhi isi tarah de diya hai jaise ise diya hai? Unhon ne kaha nahin to Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya wapas chale jao.
It is narrated on the authority of Noman (may Allah be pleased with him) that his father gave him a gift and, in order to make him a witness to it, he presented himself before the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and mentioned the matter to him. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to him, "Do you have other children besides him?" He said, "Yes!" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Then give all of them equally."

حضرت نعمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ان کے والدنے انہیں کوئی تحفہ دیا اور اس پر گواہ بنانے کے لئے نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے اور اس معاملے کا ذکر کردیا نبی کریم ﷺ نے ان سے فرمایا کیا اس کے علاوہ بھی تمہارے بچے ہیں؟ انہوں نے کہا جی ہاں! نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا پھر سب کو برابر برابر دو۔
Hazrat Noman Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai ki un ke walid ne unhen koi tohfa diya aur is par gawah banane ke liye Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ki khidmat mein hazir hue aur is mamle ka zikar kar diya Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne un se farmaya kya is ke ilawa bhi tumhare bache hain Unhon ne kaha ji haan Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne farmaya phir sab ko barabar barabar do.
Samak (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I heard An-Nu'man (may Allah be pleased with him), while he was delivering a sermon with a sheet wrapped around him, saying: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying during a sermon: "I have warned you about the Hellfire." If a person were at such and such a distance, he would still have heard the voice of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

سماک رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے حضرت نعمان رضی اللہ عنہ کو چادر اوڑھے ہوئے خطاب کے دوران یہ کہتے ہوئے سنا کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو خطبہ دیتے ہوئے سنا کہ آپ ﷺ فرما رہے تھے میں نے تمہیں جہنم سے ڈرا دیا ہے اگر کوئی شخص اتنی اتنی مسافت پر ہوتا تب بھی نبی کریم ﷺ کی آواز کو سن لیتا۔
Samak rehmatullah alaih kehte hain ki maine Hazrat Noman razi Allah tala anhu ko chadar odhe hue khitab ke dauran ye kehte hue suna ki maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko khutba dete hue suna ki aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) farma rahe the maine tumhen jahannam se dara diya hai agar koi shakhs itni itni musafat par hota tab bhi Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki awaz ko sun leta.
It was narrated from Nu'man (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The example of those who observe the limits of Allah and those who transgress them is that of a people who boarded a ship and cast lots. Some of them got the upper deck and some got the lower deck. When those in the lower deck wanted water, they would go up to those on the upper deck and say, 'Let us have some water,' disturbing them a little. The people of the upper deck said, 'We will not let you come up to us anymore; you are bothering us.' So the people of the lower deck said, 'Then we will make a hole in the bottom of the ship and get water from there.' If the people of the upper deck let them do that, they would all be drowned, but if they prevented them, then they would all be saved."

حضرت نعمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا حدود اللہ کو قائم کرنے والے اور اس میں مداہنت برتنے والوں کی مثال اس قوم کی سی ہے جو کسی سمندری سفر پر روانہ ہو کچھ لوگ نچلے حصے میں بیٹھ جائیں اور کچھ لوگ اوپر والے حصے میں بیٹھ جائیں نچلے حصے والے اوپر چڑھ کر جاتے ہوں، وہاں سے پانی لاتے ہوں جس میں سے تھوڑا بہت پانی اوپروالوں پر بھی گرجاتا ہو جیسے دیکھ کر اوپر والے کہیں کہ اب ہم تمہیں اوپر نہیں چڑھنے دیں گے تم ہمیں تکلیف دیتے ہو نیچے والے اس کا جواب دیں کہ ٹھیک ہے پھر ہم کشتی کے نیچے سوراخ کرکے وہاں سے پانی حاصل کرلیں گے اب اگر اوپر والے ان کا ہاتھ پکڑ لیں اور انہیں اس سے باز رکھیں تو سب ہی بچ جائیں گے ورنہ سب ہی غرق ہوجائیں گے۔
Hazrat Numaan Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai ki Rasool Allah Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne irshad farmaya hudood Allah ko qaem karne walon aur is mein mudahanat bartne walon ki misaal is qaum ki si hai jo kisi samundari safar par rawana ho kuch log niche hisse mein beth jayen aur kuch log upar wale hisse mein beth jayen niche hisse wale upar charh kar jate hon wahan se pani late hon jis mein se thora bahut pani upar walon par bhi gir jata ho jaise dekh kar upar wale kahen ki ab hum tumhen upar nahin charhne denge tum hamen takleef dete ho niche wale iska jawab den ki theek hai phir hum kashti ke niche suraakh karke wahan se pani hasil karlenge ab agar upar wale unka hath pakad len aur unhen is se baaz rakhen to sab hi bach jayenge warna sab hi gharq hojayenge.
Narrated by Numan (may Allah be pleased with him), the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Those who remember Allah by His glory, through praising, glorifying, extolling and declaring His Oneness, their words of remembrance revolve around the Throne, buzzing like bees and constantly mentioning the one who remembers Allah. Would any of you not like to have something constantly mentioning him before Allah?"

حضرت نعمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا جو لوگ اللہ کے جلال کی وجہ سے اس کی تسبیح وتحمید اور تکبیر و تہلیل کے ذریعے اس کا ذکر کرتے ہیں تو ان کے یہ کلمات تسبیح عرش کے گرد گھومتے رہتے ہیں اور مکھیوں جیسی بھنبھناہٹ ان سے نکلتی رہتی ہے اور وہ ذاکر کا ذکر کرتے رہتے ہیں کیا تم میں سے کوئی شخص اس بات کو پسند نہیں کرتا کہ ایک چیز مسلسل اللہ کے یہاں اس کا ذکر کرتی رہے۔
Hazrat Noman (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya jo log Allah ke jalal ki waja se uski tasbeeh o tahmeed aur takbeer o tahleel ke zariye uska zikr karte hain to unke ye kalmat tasbeeh arsh ke gird ghoomte rehte hain aur makkhiyon jaisi bhinbhinahut unse nikalti rehti hai aur wo zakir ka zikr karte rehte hain kya tum mein se koi shakhs is baat ko pasand nahi karta ke ek cheez musalsal Allah ke yahan uska zikr karti rahe.
It is narrated on the authority of Noman (may Allah be pleased with him) that once my mother asked my father to gift me something. He gifted me that thing. She said, “I will not be satisfied until you make the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) as a witness to it.” I was young at that time. My father took my hand and went to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and submitted, “O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)! The mother of this boy, Bint Ruwaaha, asked me to gift something to this child, so I gifted it. She wants me to make you a witness to it." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Bashir! Do you have any other sons besides him?” He said, “Yes!” The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to him, “Did you give to all your sons in the same way as you gave to him?” He said, “No.” So the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Do not make me a witness to this because I cannot be a witness to injustice.”

حضرت نعمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میری والدہ نے میرے والد سے مجھے کوئی چیز ہبہ کرنے کے لئے کہا انہوں نے وہ چیز مجھے ہبہ کردی، وہ کہنے لگیں کہ میں اس وقت تک مطمئن نہیں ہوسکتی جب تک تم نبی کریم ﷺ کو اس پر گواہ نہیں بنالیتے میں اس وقت نوعمر تھا میرے والدنے میرا ہاتھ پکڑا اور نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوگئے اور عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ ﷺ ! اس کی والدہ بنت رواحہ نے مجھ سے مطالبہ کیا کہ میں اس بچے کو کوئی چیز ہبہ کردوں سو میں نے کردی وہ چاہتی ہے کہ میں آپ کو اس پر گواہ بناؤں نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا بشیر! کیا اس کے علاوہ بھی تمہارا کوئی بیٹا ہے؟ انہوں نے کہا جی ہاں! نبی کریم ﷺ نے ان سے فرمایا کیا تم نے اپنے سارے بیٹوں کو بھی اسی طرح دے دیا ہے جیسے اسے دیا ہے؟ انہوں نے کہا نہیں تو نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا مجھے اس پر گواہ نہ بناؤ کیونکہ میں ظلم پر گواہ نہیں بن سکتا۔
Hazrat Noman (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek martaba meri walida ne mere walid se mujhe koi cheez hiba karne ke liye kaha unhon ne woh cheez mujhe hiba kardi, woh kehne lagi ke mein us waqt tak mutmain nahi hosakti jab tak tum Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko is par gawah nahi bana lete mein us waqt no-umar tha mere walid ne mera hath pakra aur Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir huye aur arz kiya Ya Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) is ki walida bint rawaha ne mujhse mutalba kiya ki mein is bache ko koi cheez hiba kardoon so mein ne kardi woh chahti hai ki mein aap ko is par gawah banaun Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya Bashir kya iske ilawa bhi tumhara koi beta hai? unhon ne kaha ji haan Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unse farmaya kya tumne apne sare beton ko bhi isi tarha de diya hai jaise ise diya hai? unhon ne kaha nahi to Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya mujhe is par gawah na banao kyunki mein zulm par gawah nahi ban sakta.
Narrated by Nu'man (may Allah be pleased with him): I heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying that Allah, the Exalted, and His angels send blessings (meaning Allah accepts their prayers and the angels pray for His mercy upon them) upon those who join the first row (in prayer).

حضرت نعمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ ارشاد فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ اور اس کے فرشتے صف اول میں شامل ہونے والوں پر صلوٰۃ پڑھتے ہیں (اللہ تعالیٰ دعاء قبول فرماتے ہیں اور فرشتے ان کے لئے رحمت کی دعاء کرتے ہیں)
Hazrat Noman (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye irshad farmate huye suna hai ki Allah Ta'ala aur uske farishte saf e awwal mein shamil hone walon par salat parhte hain (Allah Ta'ala dua kabool farmate hain aur farishte unke liye rehmat ki dua karte hain).
It is narrated by Nauman (may Allah be pleased with him) that once during the blessed era of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), a solar eclipse occurred. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) offered two rak'ahs of prayer and inquired about the situation from the people. Then he offered another two rak'ahs and inquired again. This continued until the sun was fully illuminated. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "During the days of ignorance, people used to say that if an eclipse occurs to either the sun or the moon, it is due to the death of some great person among the inhabitants of the earth. However, there is no such thing. Both of these are creations of Allah. Rather, when Allah Almighty manifests His glory upon His creation, they humble themselves before Him."

حضرت نعمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ کے دور باسعادت میں ایک مرتبہ سورج گرہن ہوگیا نبی کریم ﷺ دو رکعت نماز پڑھتے اور لوگوں سے صورت حال دریافت کرتے، پھر دو رکعت پڑھتے اور صورت حال دریافت کرتے حتیٰ کہ سورج مکمل روشن ہوگیا نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا زمانہ جاہلیت میں لوگ کہتے ہیں کہ اگر چاند اور سورج میں سے کسی ایک کو گرہن لگ جائے تو وہ اہل زمین میں سے کسی بڑے آدمی کی موت کی وجہ سے ہوتا ہے حالانکہ ایسی کوئی بات نہیں یہ دونوں تو اللہ کی مخلوق ہیں البتہ جب اللہ تعالیٰ اپنی مخلوق پر اپنی تجلی ظاہر فرماتا ہے تو وہ اس کے سامنے جھک جاتی ہے۔
Hazrat Noman Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ke dor e basadat mein ek martaba suraj grahan hogaya. Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam 2 rakat namaz parhte aur logon se surat e hal daryaft karte, phir 2 rakat parhte aur surat e hal daryaft karte hatta ki suraj mukammal roshan hogaya. Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya zaman e jahiliyat mein log kahte hain ki agar chand aur suraj mein se kisi ek ko grahan lag jaye to wo ahl e zameen mein se kisi bade aadmi ki mout ki waja se hota hai. Halan ke aisi koi baat nahin ye donon to Allah ki makhlooq hain albatta jab Allah Ta'ala apni makhlooq par apni tajalli zahir farmata hai to wo uske samne jhuk jati hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Numan (may Allah be pleased with him) that my father took me to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said: “O Messenger of Allah! Please be a witness to the fact that I have gifted such and such things to Numan.” The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked him: “Have you given to all your sons what you have given to him?” He said: “No.” So, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Then ask someone else to be your witness.” After a while, he said: “Don’t you like that they all be equal to you in your treatment?” He said: “Why not?” The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Then it will not be so (if you favor one over the other).”

حضرت نعمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میرے والد مجھے لے کر نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ! آپ اس بات پر گواہ بن جائیے کہ میں نے نعمان کو فلاں فلاں چیز بخش دی نبی کریم ﷺ نے ان سے فرمایا کیا تم نے اپنے سارے بیٹوں کو بھی دے دیا ہے جسے اسے دیا ہے؟ انہوں نے کہ نہیں تو نبی کریم ﷺ نے پھر کسی اور کو گواہ بنالو تھوڑی دیر بعد فرمایا کیا تمہیں یہ بات اچھی نہیں لگتی کہ حس سلوک میں یہ سب تمہارے ساتھ برابر ہوں؟ انہوں نے کہا کیوں نہیں نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا وہ اس طرح تو نہیں ہوگا۔
Hazrat Noman (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki mere walid mujhe lekar Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir hue arz kiya Ya Rasul Allah! Aap is baat par gawah ban jaiye ki maine Noman ko falan falan cheez bakhsh di Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne un se farmaya kya tum ne apne sare beton ko bhi de diya hai jise ise diya hai? Unhon ne kaha nahin to Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne phir kisi aur ko gawah bana lo thori der baad farmaya kya tumhen ye baat achhi nahin lagti ki hass silook mein ye sab tumhare sath barabar hon? Unhon ne kaha kyun nahin Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya woh is tarah to nahin hoga.
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Nauman (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that once I was sitting near the pulpit of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) when a man said that after accepting Islam, he does not care about any other deed except that he provides water to the pilgrims. Another person said that he populates Masjid al-Haram, so after accepting Islam, he does not care about any other deed. And the third one said that Jihad is superior to all the things you have mentioned. Hazrat Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) scolded them and said, "Do not raise your voices near the pulpit of Prophet (PBUH). It is Friday today, after the prayer, I will go to Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and ask him about the issue you are disagreeing on." On this occasion, this verse was revealed: "Do you consider the providing of drinking water to the pilgrims and the maintenance of Masjid al-Haram equal to the worth of those who believe in Allah and the Last Day...".

حضرت نعمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں منبر نبوی ﷺ کی جانب بیٹھا ہوا تھا ایک صاحب کہنے لگے کہ اسلام لانے کے بعد مجھے کوئی پرواہ نہیں کہ میں کوئی عمل کروں الاّ یہ کہ حجاج کرام کو پانی پلاتا ہوں دوسرے نے کہا کہ میں مسجد حرام کو آباد کرتا ہوں لہٰذا اسلام لانے کے بعد مجھے کسی عمل کی کوئی پرواہ نہیں اور تیسرے نے کہا کہ تم نے جو باتیں بیان کی ہیں ان سب سے افضل جہاد ہے حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے انہیں ڈانٹتے ہوئے فرمایا کہ منبر نبوی کے نزدیک اپنی آوازیں بلند نہ کرو وہ جمعہ کا دن تھا نماز کے بعد میں نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوں گا اور اس مسئلے کے متعلق دریافت کروں گا جس میں تم اختلاف کر رہے ہو اس موقع پر یہ آیت نازل ہوئی کیا تم حاجیوں کو پانی پلانا اور مسجد حرام کو آباد و تعمیر کرنا اس شخص کے برابر قرار دیتے ہو جو اللہ پر اور یوم آخرت پر ایمان لاتا ہے۔ "
Hazrat Numaan (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek martaba main mimbar Nabvi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki jaanib baitha hua tha ek sahab kehne lage ki Islam laane ke baad mujhe koi parwah nahi ki main koi amal karoon illa ye ki hujjaj kiraam ko paani pilata hun dusre ne kaha ki main Masjid Haraam ko aabaad karta hun lihaza Islam laane ke baad mujhe kisi amal ki koi parwah nahi aur teesre ne kaha ki tumne jo baatein bayaan ki hain un sab se afzal jihad hai Hazrat Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne unhen daantte huye farmaya ki mimbar Nabvi ke qareeb apni aawazen buland na karo wo jumma ka din tha namaz ke baad main Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir hun ga aur is masle ke mutalliq daryaft karun ga jis mein tum ikhtilaf kar rahe ho is mauqe par ye aayat nazil hui kya tum hajiyon ko paani pilana aur Masjid Haraam ko aabaad o tameer karna us shakhs ke barabar qarar dete ho jo Allah par aur Yaum Aakhirat par imaan laata hai.
Narrated by Nu'man bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Halal is clear and Haram is clear, and between the two of them are doubtful things. He who avoids doubtful things will protect his religion and honor from falling into Haram. And whoever grazes (his animals) near the Haram (forbidden area), it is feared that he will enter it. The Haram of Allah is His prohibitions."

حضرت نعمان بن بشیر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا حلال بھی واضح ہے اور حرام بھی واضح ہے ان دونوں کے درمیان جو کچھ ہے وہ متشابہات ہیں جو شخص ان متشابہات کو چھوڑ دے گا وہ حرام کو بآسانی چھوڑ سکے گا اور اللہ کے محرمات اس کی چراگاہیں ہیں اور جو شخص چراگاہ کے آس پاس اپنے جانوروں کو چراتا ہے اندیشہ ہوتا ہے کہ وہ چراگاہ میں گھس جائے۔
Hazrat Noman bin Bashir Razi Allahu Anhu se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya halal bhi wazeh hai aur haram bhi wazeh hai in donon ke darmiyan jo kuchh hai wo mutashabihat hain jo shakhs in mutashabihat ko chhod dega wo haram ko baasani chhod sakega aur Allah ke muharramat uski charagahen hain aur jo shakhs charagah ke aas paas apne janwaron ko charata hai andesha hota hai ki wo charagah mein ghus jaye.
It is narrated on the authority of Noman (May Allah be pleased with him) that once my mother asked my father to give me something as a gift. He gifted me that thing. She then said: "I cannot be satisfied unless you make the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) a witness to this." I was young at that time. My father took my hand and went to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and submitted: "O Messenger of Allah! The mother of this boy, Bint Rowaha, asked me to gift this boy something, so I did. She wants me to make you a witness to this." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Bashir! Do you have any other sons besides him?" He replied: "Yes!" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to him: "Have you given all your sons like you have given this one?" He said: "No." So the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Do not make me a witness to this, for I cannot bear witness to injustice."

Unhon ne kaha ji haan! Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unse farmaya kya tum ne apne sare beton ko bhi isi tarah de diya hai jaise ise diya hai? Unhon ne kaha nahi to Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya mujhe iss par gawah na banao kyunki mein zulm par gawah nahi ban sakta.
It was narrated from Nu'man (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say with these two ears of mine: "The example of those who observe the Limits of Allah and those who transgress them is that of a people who boarded a ship and cast lots. Some of them got the upper deck and some got the lower. When those who were in the lower deck wanted water, they would go up to the people of the upper deck and say, 'Let us have some water, for we have inconvenienced you.' If the people of the upper deck let them have it, all would be saved. If they prevented them, they would all be destroyed."

حضرت نعمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ کو اپنے ان کانوں سے فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ حدود اللہ کو قائم کرنے والے اور اس میں مداہنت برتنے والوں کی مثال اس قوم کی سی ہے جو کسی سمندری سفر پر روانہ ہو کچھ لوگ نچلے حصے میں بیٹھ جائیں اور کچھ لوگ اوپر والے حصے میں بیٹھ جائیں نچلے حصے والے اوپر چڑھ کر جاتے ہوں، وہاں سے پانی لاتے ہوں جس میں سے تھوڑا بہت پانی اوپروالوں پر بھی گرجاتا ہو جیسے دیکھ کر اوپر والے کہیں کہ اب ہم تمہیں اوپر نہیں چڑھنے دیں گے تم ہمیں تکلیف دیتے ہو نیچے والے اس کا جواب دیں کہ ٹھیک ہے پھر ہم کشتی کے نیچے سوراخ کرکے وہاں سے پانی حاصل کرلیں گے اب اگر اوپر والے ان کا ہاتھ پکڑ لیں اور انہیں اس سے باز رکھیں تو سب ہی بچ جائیں گے ورنہ سب ہی غرق ہوجائیں گے۔
Hazrat Numaan (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko apne in kano se farmate hue suna hai ki hudood Allah ko qaim karne wale aur is mein mudahant bartne walon ki misaal is qaum ki si hai jo kisi samundari safar par rawana ho kuch log niche hisse mein baith jayen aur kuch log upar wale hisse mein baith jayen niche hisse wale upar chadh kar jate hon wahan se pani late hon jis mein se thora bahut pani upar walon par bhi gir jata ho jaise dekh kar upar wale kahen ki ab hum tumhen upar nahin chadhne denge tum humein takleef dete ho niche wale iska jawab den ki theek hai phir hum kashti ke niche suraakh karke wahan se pani hasil karlenge ab agar upar wale unka hath pakad len aur unhen is se baaz rakhen to sab hi bach jayenge warna sab hi gharq hojayenge.
Narrated by Numan (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The example of the believers in their mutual love, mercy and compassion is like that of a body; if one part of it suffers, the whole body feels the pain, both in sleeplessness and fever.

حضرت نعمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا مؤمن کی مثال باہمی محبت، ہمدردی اور شفقت میں جسم کی سی ہے کہ اگر انسان کے ایک عضو کو تکلیف ہوتی ہے تو سارے جسم کو شب بیداری اور بخار کا احساس ہوتا ہے۔
Hazrat Noman Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai keh Rasool Allah Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne Irshad farmaya momin ki misaal bahami mohabbat, humdardi aur shafqat mein jism ki si hai keh agar insan ke aik uzv ko takleef hoti hai to sare jism ko shab bedari aur bukhar ka ehsas hota hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Numan bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Halal is clear and Haram is clear, and between them are doubtful matters. Whoever avoids doubtful matters, he will avoid Haram easily, and the Haram of Allah are His pastures. And whoever grazes his animals near the pasture, there is a fear that they may enter the pasture. Remember! There is a piece of flesh in the human body, if it becomes righteous, the whole body becomes righteous, and if it becomes corrupt, the whole body becomes corrupt. Remember! That is the heart.”

حضرت نعمان بن بشیر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا حلال بھی واضح ہے اور حرام بھی واضح ہے ان دونوں کے درمیان جو کچھ ہے وہ متشابہات ہیں جو شخص ان متشابہات کو چھوڑ دے گا وہ حرام کو بآسانی چھوڑ سکے گا اور اللہ کے محرمات اس کی چراگاہیں ہیں اور جو شخص چراگاہ کے آس پاس اپنے جانوروں کو چراتا ہے اندیشہ ہوتا ہے کہ وہ چراگاہ میں گھس جائے، یاد رکھوانسان کے جسم میں گوشت کا ایک لوتھڑا ہے اگر وہ صحیح ہوجائے تو سارا جسم صحیح ہوجائے اور اگر وہ خراب ہوجائے تو ساراجسم خراب ہوجائے یاد رکھو! وہ دل ہے۔
Hazrat Numaan bin Bashir RA se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah SAW ne irshad farmaya halal bhi wazeh hai aur haram bhi wazeh hai in dono ke darmiyan jo kuch hai wo mutashabihat hain jo shakhs in mutashabihat ko chhor dega wo haram ko baasani chhor sakega aur Allah ke muharramat uski charagahen hain aur jo shakhs charagah ke aas paas apne janwaron ko charata hai andesha hota hai ki wo charagah mein ghus jaye yaad rakh insaan ke jism mein gosht ka ek lothra hai agar wo sahih hojaye to sara jism sahih hojaye aur agar wo kharab hojaye to sara jism kharab hojaye yaad rakho wo dil hai
It is narrated by Numan bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to straighten the rows (of prayer) as arrows are straightened.

حضرت نعمان بن بشیر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ صفوں کو اس طرح درست کرواتے تھے جیسے تیروں کو سیدھا کیا جاتا ہے۔
Hazrat Numaan bin Bashir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) saffon ko iss tarah durust karwate thy jaise teeron ko seedha kiya jata hai.
It is narrated by Nauman (may Allah be pleased with him) that I knew the time of Isha prayer of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) better than anyone else. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to offer this prayer after the setting of the moon on the third night of the beginning of the month.

حضرت نعمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ کی نماز عشاء کا وقت میں تمام لوگوں سے زیادہ جانتا ہوں، نبی کریم ﷺ یہ نماز آغاز مہینہ کی تیسری رات میں سقوط قمر کے بعد پڑھا کرتے تھے۔
Hazrat Noman (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki namaz Isha ka waqt mein tamam logon se zyada janta hun, Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) yeh namaz aghaz mahina ki teesri raat mein suqut qamar ke baad parha karte the.
Narrated by Noman (may Allah be pleased with him) that once my mother asked my father to gift me something. He gifted me that thing. She said, "I will not be satisfied until you make the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) a witness to it." I was young at that time. My father held my hand and came to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah! His mother, may Allah have mercy on her soul, asked me to gift this child something, so I have. She wants me to make you a witness to it." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Bashir! Do you have any other sons besides him?" He said, "Yes!" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to him, "Have you given to all your sons in the same way as you have given to him?" He said, "No." So the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Do not make me a witness to this, because I cannot bear witness to injustice."

حضرت نعمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میری والدہ نے میرے والد سے مجھے کوئی چیز ہبہ کرنے کے لئے کہا انہوں نے وہ چیز مجھے ہبہ کردی، وہ کہنے لگیں کہ میں اس وقت تک مطمئن نہیں ہوسکتی جب تک تم نبی کریم ﷺ کو اس پر گواہ نہیں بنالیتے میں اس وقت نوعمر تھا میرے والد نے میرا ہاتھ پکڑا اور نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوگئے اور عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ ﷺ ! اس کی والدہ بنت رواحہ نے مجھ سے مطالبہ کیا کہ میں اس بچے کو کوئی چیز ہبہ کردوں سو میں نے کردی وہ چاہتی ہے کہ میں آپ کو اس پر گواہ بناؤں نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا بشیر! کیا اس کے علاوہ بھی تمہارا کوئی بیٹا ہے؟ انہوں نے کہا جی ہاں! نبی کریم ﷺ نے ان سے فرمایا کیا تم نے اپنے سارے بیٹوں کو بھی اسی طرح دے دیا ہے جیسے اسے دیا ہے؟ انہوں نے کہا نہیں تو نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا مجھے اس پر گواہ نہ بناؤ کیونکہ میں ظلم پر گواہ نہیں بن سکتا۔
Hazrat Noman Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai ke aik martaba meri walida ne mere walid se mujhe koi cheez hiba karne ke liye kaha unhon ne woh cheez mujhe hiba kardi, woh kehne lagi ke mein is waqt tak mutmain nahi hosakti jab tak tum Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ko is par gawah nahi bana lete mein is waqt nojawan tha mere walid ne mera hath pakra aur Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ki khidmat mein hazir hogaye aur arz kiya Ya Rasulallah Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam! is ki walida bint Rawaha ne mujhse mutalba kiya ke mein is bache ko koi cheez hiba kardoon so mein ne kardi woh chahti hai ke mein aap ko is par gawah banaun Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya Bashir! kya is ke ilawa bhi tumhara koi beta hai? unhon ne kaha ji haan! Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne unse farmaya kya tum ne apne sare beton ko bhi isi tarah de diya hai jaise ise diya hai? unhon ne kaha nahi to Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya mujhe is par gawah na banao kyunke mein zulm par gawah nahi ban sakta.
It is narrated on the authority of Nu'man (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The example of those who establish the limits of Allah and those who show leniency in them is like the example of a people who embark on a sea voyage. Some of them sit in the lower deck and some in the upper deck. Those in the lower deck would go up to the upper deck and draw water from there, and some of the water would fall on those in the upper deck. So the people of the upper deck said, 'We will not allow you to come up to us anymore; you are causing us inconvenience.' The people of the lower deck replied, 'Alright, then we will make a hole in the bottom of the ship and draw water from there.' If the people of the upper deck restrain them by grabbing their hands, then all will be saved. Otherwise, all will drown.

حضرت نعمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا حدود اللہ کو قائم کرنے والے اور اس میں مداہنت برتنے والوں کی مثال اس قوم کی سی ہے جو کسی سمندری سفر پر روانہ ہو کچھ لوگ نچلے حصے میں بیٹھ جائیں اور کچھ لوگ اوپروالے حصے میں بیٹھ جائیں نچلے حصے والے اوپر چڑھ کر جاتے ہوں، وہاں سے پانی لاتے ہوں جس میں سے تھوڑا بہت پانی اوپر والوں پر بھی گرجاتا ہو جیسے دیکھ کر اوپر والے کہیں کہ اب ہم تمہیں اوپر نہیں چڑھنے دیں گے تم ہمیں تکلیف دیتے ہو نیچے والے اس کا جواب دیں کہ ٹھیک ہے پھر ہم کشتی کے نیچے سوراخ کرکے وہاں سے پانی حاصل کرلیں گے اب اگر اوپر والے ان کا ہاتھ پکڑ لیں اور انہیں اس سے باز رکھیں تو سب ہی بچ جائیں گے ورنہ سب ہی غرق ہوجائیں گے۔
Hazrat Noman Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai ki Rasool Allah Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne irshad farmaya hudood Allah ko qaim karne wale aur is mein mudahant bartne walon ki misaal is qaum ki si hai jo kisi samundari safar par rawana ho kuch log niche hisse mein beth jayen aur kuch log upar wale hisse mein beth jayen niche hisse wale upar chadh kar jate hon wahan se pani late hon jis mein se thora bahut pani upar walon par bhi gir jata ho jaise dekh kar upar wale kahen ki ab hum tumhen upar nahin chadhne denge tum hamen takleef dete ho niche wale is ka jawab den ki theek hai phir hum kashti ke niche suraakh karke wahan se pani hasil karlenge ab agar upar wale un ka hath pakad len aur unhen is se baz rakhen to sab hi bach jayenge warna sab hi gharq hojayenge.
Narrated by Nu'man (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "The parable of the believers in their mutual love, mercy and compassion is that of a body; when one part of it suffers, the whole body feels the pain, both in sleeplessness and fever."

حضرت نعمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا مؤمن کی مثال باہمی محبت، ہمدردی اور شفقت میں جسم کی سی ہے کہ اگر انسان کے ایک عضو کو تکلیف ہوتی ہے تو سارے جسم کو شب بیداری اور بخار کا احساس ہوتا ہے۔
Hazrat Noman Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai ki Rasool Allah Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne irshad farmaya momin ki misal bahami mohabbat, humdardi aur shafqat mein jism ki si hai ki agar insan ke ek uzv ko takleef hoti hai to sare jism ko shab bedari aur bukhar ka ehsas hota hai.
Dhaak Ibn Qais (may Allah have mercy on him) said that he asked Nauman Ibn Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) which Surah the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to recite in the Friday prayer besides Surah Al-Jumu'ah. He said, "Surah Al-Ghashiyah."

ضحاک بن قیس رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ انہوں نے حضرت نعمان بن بشیر رضی اللہ عنہ سے پوچھا کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نماز جمعہ میں سورت جمعہ کے علاوہ اور کون سی سورت پڑھتے تھے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا سورت غاشیہ۔
Zahak bin Qais rehmatullah alaih kehte hain ki unhon ne Hazrat Noman bin Bashir razi Allah anhu se poocha ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) namaz Juma mein Surah Juma ke ilawa aur kon si surat parhte thay? Unhon ne farmaya Surah Ghashiyah.
It is narrated on the authority of Noman (may Allah be pleased with him) that his father gave him a gift. Then my father went to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and asked him to be a witness to it. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked him, "Have you given to all your sons like you have given to him?". He said, "No". So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Take it back from him."

حضرت نعمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ان کے والد انہیں کوئی تحفہ دیا پھر میرے والد نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے اور انہیں اس پر گواہ بننے کے لئے کہا نبی کریم ﷺ نے ان سے فرمایا کیا تم نے اپنے سارے بیٹوں کو بھی دے دیا ہے، جیسے اسے دیا ہے؟ انہوں نے کہا نہیں، تو نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اسے واپس لے لو۔
Hazrat Numaan (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki unke walid unhen koi tohfa diya phir mere walid Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir hue aur unhen is par gawah banne ke liye kaha Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unse farmaya kya tumne apne sare beton ko bhi de diya hai jaise ise diya hai unhon ne kaha nahin to Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ise wapas le lo.
It is narrated on the authority of Numan (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to recite Surah A'la and Surah Ghashiyah in the Eid prayers, and if Eid coincided with Friday, he would recite these two Surahs in both prayers (Eid and Friday).

حضرت نعمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ عیدین میں سورت اعلیٰ اور سورت غاشیہ کی تلاوت فرماتے تھے اور اگر عید جمعہ کے دن جاتی تو دونوں نمازوں (عید اور جمعہ) میں یہی دونوں سورتیں پڑھتے تھے۔
Hazrat Noman Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam eideen mein Surah Aala aur Surah Ghashiya ki tilawat farmate thy aur agar eid jumma ky din jati to dono namaazon (Eid aur juma) mein yehi dono surtain parhte thy.
It is narrated on the authority of Nu'man bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard with these ears of mine the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: "Halal (lawful) is clear and Haram (forbidden) is clear, and between the two of them are doubtful things. He who avoids doubtful things will certainly avoid Haram, and Allah's prohibitions are His pastures. And he who grazes his animals around the pasture, there is a fear that they will enter the pasture.”

Hazrat Noman bin Bashir Razi Allahu Anhu se marvi hai ke maine apne in kano se Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko farmate huye suna hai ke halal bhi wazeh hai aur haram bhi wazeh hai in dono ke darmiyaan jo kuchh hai wo mutashabihat hain jo shakhs in mutashabihat ko chhod dega wo haram ko baasani chhod sakega aur Allah ke muharramat uski charagahen hain aur jo shakhs charagah ke aas paas apne janwaron ko charata hai andesha hota hai ke wo charagah mein ghus jaye.
It is narrated by Numan bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to straighten the rows (of prayer) like arrows are straightened.

Then the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) recited this verse: "Call upon Me, I will respond to your call. Those who are too proud to worship Me..."

حضرت نعمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا دعاء ہی اصل عبادت ہے پھر نبی کریم ﷺ نے یہ آیت تلاوت فرمائی مجھ سے دعاء مانگو، میں تمہاری دعاء قبول کروں گا جو لوگ میری عبادت سے تکبر برتتے ہیں۔
Hazrat Noman (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya dua hi asl ibadat hai phir Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne yeh ayat tilawat farmai mujh se dua maango, main tumhari dua qubool karunga jo log meri ibadat se takabbur barte hain.
It is narrated on the authority of Numan (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to recite Surah A'la and Surah Ghashiyah in the Eid prayers, and if Eid fell on a Friday, he would recite these two Surahs in both prayers (Eid and Friday).

Narrated by Nauman (may Allah be pleased with him), the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Those who remember Allah, glorifying Him, praising Him, declaring His Greatness and Oneness, because of His Majesty, their words of glorification revolve around the Throne and buzz like bees, and they continue to mention the one who remembers Allah. Wouldn't any of you like to have something constantly mentioning him before Allah?"

حضرت نعمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا جو لوگ اللہ کے جلال کی وجہ سے اس کی تسبیح وتحمید اور تکبیر و تہلیل کے ذریعے اس کا ذکر کرتے ہیں تو ان کے یہ کلمات تسبیح عرش کے گرد گھومتے رہتے ہیں اور مکھیوں جیسی بھنبھناہٹ ان سے نکلتی رہتی ہے اور وہ ذاکر کا ذکر کرتے رہتے ہیں کیا تم میں سے کوئی شخص اس بات کو پسند نہیں کرتا کہ ایک چیز مسلسل اللہ کے یہاں اس کا ذکر کرتی رہے۔
Hazrat Numaan Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya jo log Allah ke jalal ki wajah se uski tasbeeh o taqdees aur takbeer o tahleel ke zariye uska zikr karte hain to unke ye kalmat tasbeeh arsh ke gird ghoomte rehte hain aur makkhiyon jaisi bhanbhanahat unse nikalti rehti hai aur wo zakir ka zikr karte rehte hain kya tum mein se koi shakhs is baat ko pasand nahin karta ki ek cheez musalsal Allah ke yahan uska zikr karti rahe.
It is narrated on the authority of Nauman bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: "Straighten your rows, otherwise Allah will cause discord between you."

حضرت نعمان بن بشیر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ اپنی صفوں کو درست (سیدھا) رکھا کرو ورنہ اللہ تمہارے درمیان اختلاف ڈال دے گا۔
Hazrat Noman bin Bashir Razi Allah Anhu se marvi hai keh maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko yeh farmate hue suna hai keh apni safo ko durust (seedha) rakha karo warna Allah tumhare darmiyaan ikhtilaf daal dega.
Nu'man (may Allah be pleased with him) once said in a sermon that I heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say that on the Day of Resurrection, the lightest punishment will be given to the person who will be made to wear shoes of fire, and his brain will boil from them.

حضرت نعمان رضی اللہ عنہ نے ایک مرتبہ خطبہ دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے قیامت کے دن سب سے ہلکا عذاب اس شخص کو ہوگا جس کے پاؤں میں آگ کے جوتے پہنائے جائیں گے اور ان سے اس کا دماغ کھول رہا ہوگا۔
Hazrat Noman (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne ek martaba khutba dete huye kaha ke maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai qayamat ke din sab se halka azab us shakhs ko hoga jis ke paon mein aag ke joote pehnaye jayenge aur in se us ka dimagh khol raha hoga.
Nu'man (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Dua (supplication) is the essence of worship." Then the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) recited this verse: "Call upon Me, I will respond to you."

حضرت نعمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا دعاء ہی اصل عبادت ہے پھر نبی کریم ﷺ نے یہ آیت تلاوت فرمائی " مجھ سے دعاء مانگو، میں تمہاری دعاء قبول کروں گا "
Hazrat Numaan (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya dua hi asl ibadat hai phir Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ye ayat tilawat farmaayi mujhse dua maango main tumhari dua qubool karunga
It is narrated by Nauman (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) offered prayer at the time of the solar eclipse in the same manner as you usually offer prayer, and he observed bowing and prostration in the same way.

حضرت نعمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے نبی کریم ﷺ سورج گرہن کے موقع پر اسی طرح نماز پڑھائی تھی جیسے تم عام طور پر پڑھتے ہو اور اسی طرح رکوع سجدہ کیا تھا۔
Hazrat Noman RA se marvi hai Nabi Kareem SAW suraj grahan ke mauke par isi tarah namaz parhayi thi jaise tum aam taur par parhte ho aur isi tarah ruku sajda kiya tha.
Narrated by Nu'man (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “The example of the believers is like that of a body; if the head aches, the whole body feels the pain, and if the eye aches, the whole body feels the pain.”

حضرت نعمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا مؤمن کی مثال جسم کی سی ہے کہ اگر انسان کے سر کو تکلیف ہوتی ہے تو سارے جسم کو تکلیف کا احساس ہوتا ہے اور اگر آنکھ میں تکلیف ہوتب بھی سارے جسم کو تکلیف ہوتی ہے،۔
Hazrat Noman Radi Allaho Anho Se Marvi Hai Ke Rasool Allah Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam Ne Irshad Farmaya Momim Ki Misal Jism Ki Si Hai Ke Agar Insan Ke Sar Ko Takleef Hoti Hai To Sare Jism Ko Takleef Ka Ehsaas Hota Hai Aur Agar Aankh Mein Takleef Hoti Bhi Sare Jism Ko Takleef Hoti Hai
It is narrated on the authority of Numan (may Allah be pleased with him) that once Siddiq Akbar (may Allah be pleased with him) came to the service of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and sought permission to enter. Meanwhile, the raised voice of Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) reached his ears. Upon getting permission, when he went inside, he grabbed Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) and said, "O Daughter of Roman! Do you raise your voice before the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)?" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) intervened and saved Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her). When Siddiq Akbar (may Allah be pleased with him) went back, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) teased Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) and said, "See! How did I save you from this man?" After a while, Siddiq Akbar (may Allah be pleased with him) came again and entered with permission, he saw that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is making Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) laugh. Siddiq Akbar (may Allah be pleased with him) submitted, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)! Include me in your peace as you included me in your fight.”

حضرت نعمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ حضرت صدیق اکبر رضی اللہ عنہ نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے اور اندر آنے کی اجازت طلب کرنے لگے اسی دوران حضرت عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہ کی اونچی ہوتی ہوئی آواز ان کے کانوں میں پہنچی، اجازت ملنے پر جب وہ اندر داخل ہوئے تو حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہ کو پکڑ لیا اور فرمایا اسے بنت رومان! کیا تم نبی کریم ﷺ کے سامنے اپنی آواز بلند کرتی ہو؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے درمیان میں آکر حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہ کو بچالیا۔ جب حضرت صدیق اکبر رضی اللہ عنہ واپس چلے گئے تو نبی کریم ﷺ حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہ کو چھیڑتے ہوئے فرمانے لگے دیکھا! میں نے تمہیں اس شخص سے کس طرح بچایا؟ تھوڑی دیر بعد حضرت صدیق اکبر رضی اللہ عنہ دوبارہ آئے اور اجازت لے کر اندر داخل ہوئے تو دیکھا کہ نبی کریم ﷺ حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہ کو ہنسا رہے ہیں حضرت صدیق اکبر رضی اللہ عنہ نے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ ﷺ ! اپنی صلح میں مجھے بھی شامل کرلیجئے جیسے اپنی لڑائی میں شامل کیا تھا۔
Hazrat Noman Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai keh aik martaba Hazrat Siddique Akbar Radi Allaho Anho Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ki khidmat mein hazir huye aur andar aane ki ijazat talab karne lage isi doran Hazrat Ayesha Siddiqa Radi Allaho Anho ki unchi hoti hui awaz unke kaano mein pohanchi, ijazat milne per jab woh andar dakhil huye toh Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allaho Anho ko pakad liya aur farmaya ise bant roman! kya tum Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ke samne apni awaz buland karti ho? Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne darmiyan mein aakar Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allaho Anho ko bachaliya. Jab Hazrat Siddique Akbar Radi Allaho Anho wapis chale gaye toh Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allaho Anho ko chhedte huye farmane lage dekha! mein ne tumhein is shakhs se kis tarha bachaliya? thori dair baad Hazrat Siddique Akbar Radi Allaho Anho dobara aaye aur ijazat lekar andar dakhil huye toh dekha keh Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allaho Anho ko hansaa rahe hain Hazrat Siddique Akbar Radi Allaho Anho ne arz kiya Ya Rasulullah Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam! apni sulh mein mujhe bhi shamil karlijiye jaise apni ladai mein shamil kiya tha.
Narrated by Noman (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Everything has a flaw except the sword, and every flaw has compensation.

حضرت نعمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا ہر چیز کی ایک خطا ہوتی ہے سوائے تلوار کے اور ہر خطا کا تاوان ہوتا ہے۔

Hazrat Nu'man (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace be upon him) had the most knowledge of all people during the Isha prayer. The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to perform this prayer after the setting of the moon on the third night of the lunar month.
