Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was asked, "Which deeds are the most virtuous?" He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, "To believe in Allah and His Messenger." It was asked, "Then what?" He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, "Jihad in the cause of Allah." It was said, "Then what?" He said, "An accepted Hajj (pilgrimage)."

(١٨٤٨٣) حضرت ابوہریرہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے سوال کیا گیا کہ کون سے اعمال افضل ہیں ؟ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اللہ اور اس کے رسول پر ایمان لانا۔ پوچھا گیا : اس کے بعد ؟ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اللہ کے راستہ میں جہاد کرنا۔ کہا گیا : اس کے بعد ؟ فرمایا : مقبول حج۔
18483 Hazrat Abu Huraira (RA) farmate hain ke Rasul Allah (SAW) se sawal kiya gaya ke kon se amal afzal hain? Aap (SAW) ne farmaya: Allah aur us ke Rasul par iman lana. Poocha gaya: Is ke baad? Aap (SAW) ne farmaya: Allah ke raaste mein jihad karna. Kaha gaya: Is ke baad? Farmaya: Maqbool Hajj.
Allah says, "Whoever fights in My cause - it is because of their faith in Me and belief in My Messengers - it is upon Me to enter them into Paradise or return them to their homes from where they came, with whatever rewards and spoils they have earned."
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Whoever receives a wound for the sake of Allah will appear on the Day of Judgment with his wound bleeding. Its color will be the color of blood, and its fragrance will be like musk."
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) also said, "By the One in whose hand is my soul, if it were not for the hardship it would cause my Ummah (nation), I would not stay behind from any expedition. However, I cannot find the mounts to carry them, nor do they have the means to follow me, and they dislike being left behind."
He (peace and blessings be upon him) also said, "By the One in whose hand is my soul, I love to fight in the cause of Allah, then be killed, then fight, then be killed, then fight, then be killed."

(١٨٤٨٤) اللہ فرماتے ہیں : وہ شخص جو اس کے راستے میں جہاد کرتا ہے میرے ساتھ ایمان لانے اور میرے رسولوں کی تصدیق کی وجہ سے تو میرے ذمہ ہے کہ میں اس کو جنت میں داخل کروں یا اس کو اس کے گھر واپس کروں، جہاں سے وہ آیا ہے اس حالت میں کہ جو اس نے ثواب اور غنیمت حاصل کی ہے۔ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : جو شخص اللہ کے لیے زخم کھاتا ہے وہ کل قیامت کے دن آئے گا۔ اس کے زخم سے خون بہہ رہا ہوگا۔ جس کی رنگت خون جیسی اور حوشبو کستوری جیسی ہوگی اور رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : قسم اس ذات کی جس کے ہاتھ میں میری جان ہے اگر میری امت پر مشقت نہ ہوتی تو میں کسی سریہ سے بھی پیچھے نہ رہتا۔ جو اللہ کے راستہ میں جہاد کرتے ہیں نہ تو میں ان کے لیے سواریاں پاتا ہوں اور نہ ان کے پاس اتنی طاقت ہے کہ وہ میرے پیچھے آسکیں اور نہ ہی ان کو یہ پسند ہے کہ وہ میرے بعد پیچھے رہ سکیں اور رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے فرمایا : اس ذات کی قسم جس کے ہاتھ میں میری جان ہے۔ مجھے یہ بات پسند ہے کہ میں اللہ کے راستے میں جہاد کروں۔ پھر میں قتل کیا جاؤں۔ پھر میں جہاد کروں۔ پھر میں قتل کیا جاؤں۔ پھر میں جہاد کروں۔ پھر میں قتل کیا جاؤں۔
(18484) Allah farmate hain : woh shakhs jo is ke raste mein jihad karta hai mere sath iman lane aur mere rasulon ki tasdeeq ki waja se to mere zimme hai ke main is ko jannat mein dakhil karoon ya is ko is ke ghar wapas karoon, jahan se woh aaya hai is halat mein ke jo is ne sawab aur ghanimat hasil ki hai. Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : jo shakhs Allah ke liye zakhm khata hai woh kal qayamat ke din aayega. Is ke zakhm se khoon beh raha hoga. Jis ki rangat khoon jaisi aur khushbu kasturi jaisi hogi aur Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya : qasam is zaat ki jis ke hath mein meri jaan hai agar meri ummat par mushkil na hoti to main kisi sariya se bhi peeche na rehta. Jo Allah ke raah mein jihad karte hain na to main un ke liye sawariyan pata hoon aur na un ke pass itni taqat hai ke woh mere peeche aasakein aur na hi un ko ye pasand hai ke woh mere baad peeche reh sakein aur Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se farmaya : is zaat ki qasam jis ke hath mein meri jaan hai. Mujhe ye baat pasand hai ke main Allah ke raste mein jihad karoon. Phir main qatl kiya jaon. Phir main jihad karoon. Phir main qatl kiya jaon. Phir main jihad karoon. Phir main qatl kiya jaon.
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Allah guarantees that he will admit a person who fights in His cause, and whose motivation for going out is nothing but jihad in His cause and belief in His word, into Paradise, or He will return him to his home with reward or booty."

(١٨٤٨٥) حضرت ابوہریرہ (رض) نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ آپ (رض) نے فرمایا : اللہ رب العزت نے ضمانت دی ہے کہ جو شخص اللہ کے راستے میں جہاد کرتا ہے، اسے گھر سے صرف اللہ کے راستہ میں جہاد کرنا اور اس کے کلمہ کی تصدیق کرنا ہی نکلنا ہے۔ اللہ اس کو جنت میں داخل کرے یا پھر اس کو ثواب یا مال غنیمت کے ساتھ اس کے گھر واپس لوٹائے۔
(18485) Hazrat Abu Huraira (RA) Nabi (SAW) se naqal farmate hain ke aap (SAW) ne farmaya : Allah Rab ul Izzat ne zamanat di hai ke jo shakhs Allah ke raste mein jihad karta hai, use ghar se sirf Allah ke raste mein jihad karna aur us ke kalma ki tasdeeq karna hi nikalna hai. Allah us ko jannat mein dakhil kare ya phir us ko sawab ya maal ghanimat ke sath us ke ghar wapas loutaye.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "By Him in Whose Hand is the life of Muhammad, if I did not fear hardship for my people, I would not stay behind from any expedition in the cause of Allah. But I cannot find the means to mount them, nor can they find it to follow me, and they dislike to be left behind after me."

(١٨٤٨٦) نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے منقول ہے کہ آپ نے فرمایا : قسم اس ذات کی جس کے ہاتھ میں محمد کی جان ہے اگر میں لوگوں پر مشقت خیال نہ کرتا تو میں کسی سریہ سے پیچھے نہ رہتا جو اللہ کے راستہ میں جہاد کرتا ہے لیکن میں ان کے لیے سواریوں کا انتظام نہیں کر پاتا اور نہ ہی وہ اتنی وسعت پاتے ہیں کہ وہ میرے پیچھے آسکیں اور نہ ہی ان کو میرے بعد پیچھے رہنا اچھا لگتا ہے۔
(18486) Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se manqol hai ke aap ne farmaya : qasam is zaat ki jis ke hath mein Muhammad ki jaan hai agar mein logon par mushqat khayaal na karta to mein kisi sariya se peeche na rehta jo Allah ke raaste mein jihad karta hai lekin mein un ke liye sawariyon ka intezam nahin kar pata aur na hi woh itni wusat pate hain ke woh mere peeche aa sakein aur na hi un ko mere baad peeche rehna achha lagta hai.
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “By Him in Whose Hand is the life of Muhammad, were it not that it would be hard on the Muslims, I would not stay behind from any expedition in the way of Allah. However, I cannot afford mounts for them, nor can they afford it; and it would be hard on them to stay behind, and I dislike to part with them.”

(18487) Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se manqol hai keh aap ne farmaya: Qasam us zaat ki jis ke hath mein Muhammad ki jaan hai agar main logon per mushkilat khayaal na karta to main kisi sariya se peeche na rehta jo Allah ke raaste mein jihad karta, lekin main un ke liye sawariyon ka intezam nahi kar pata aur na hi woh itni wusat pate hain keh woh mere peeche aa sakin aur na hi un ko mere baad peeche rehna acha lagta hai.
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Companions asked: O Messenger of Allah, which deed is equal to Jihad (struggle) in the Cause of Allah? He (ﷺ) replied, "You have no power to do it." We said, "Why not?" He (ﷺ) replied, "You have no power to do it," The narrator said, "Don't you know that on the third or fourth time, he (ﷺ) said: The example of one who struggles in the Cause of Allah is like a person who fasts continuously and prays all the time (i.e., observes Saum and stands for prayer continuously). He keeps on doing that until the Mujahid who is fighting in the Cause of Allah returns home.

(١٨٤٨٨) حضرت ابوہریرہ فرماتے ہیں کہ صحابہ نے کہا : اے اللہ کے رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ! کون سی چیز اللہ کے راستہ میں جہاد کے برابر ہے ؟ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : تم اس کی طاقت نہیں رکھتے۔ ہم نے کہا کیوں نہیں۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : تم اس کی طاقت نہیں رکھتے : راوی کہتے ہیں : تجھے معلوم نہیں کہ تیسری یا چوتھی مرتبہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اللہ کے راستہ میں جہاد کرنے والا شخص اس کی طرح ہے جو مسلسل روزے رکھتا ہے اور ہمہ وقت حالت قیام میں قرآن پاک کی تلاوت کرتا ہے۔ روزے اور نماز میں کرتا ہی نہیں کرتا۔ حتی کہ اللہ کے راستہ میں جہاد کرنے والا مجاہد گھر لوٹ آئے۔
(18488) Hazrat Abu Hurairah farmate hain ki sahaba ne kaha: Aye Allah ke Rasool ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم))! Kon si cheez Allah ke raaste mein jihad ke barabar hai? Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Tum uski taqat nahin rakhte. Humne kaha kyun nahin. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Tum uski taqat nahin rakhte: Rawi kahte hain: Tujhe maloom nahin ki teesri ya chauthi martaba Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Allah ke raaste mein jihad karne wala shakhs uski tarah hai jo musalsal roze rakhta hai aur har waqt halat qayam mein Quran Pak ki tilawat karta hai. Roze aur namaz mein karta hi nahin karta. Hatta ki Allah ke raaste mein jihad karne wala mujahid ghar laut aaye.
Narrated Abu Huraira: The companions asked: O Messenger of Allah! What (deed) is equal to Jihad (fighting) in the Cause of Allah? He (ﷺ) said: You have no power to do it. We said: Why not? He (ﷺ) said: You have no power to do it. The narrator said: I do not know whether he (ﷺ) said so thrice, or four times. He (ﷺ) then said: The example of one who strives in the Cause of Allah is that of a person who fasts continuously and prays all the time (in the Night of Qadr). He observes fast (in the battle) and does not break it, and stands for prayer (in the battle) and does not discontinue it (out of fear) until the Mujahid (warrior) fighting in the Cause of Allah returns to his home.

(١٨٤٨٩) حضرت ابوہریرہ فرماتے ہیں کہ صحابہ نے کہا : اے اللہ کے رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ! کون سی چیز اللہ کے راستہ میں جہاد کے برابر ہے ؟ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : تم اس کی طاقت نہیں رکھتے۔ ہم نے کہا : کیوں نہیں۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : تم اس کی طاقت نہیں رکھتے۔ راوی کہتے ہیں : تجھے معلوم نہیں کہ تیسری یا چوتھی مرتبہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اللہ کے راستہ میں جہاد کرنے والا شخص اس کی طرح ہے جو مسلسل روزے رکھتا ہے اور ہمہ وقت حالت قیام میں قرآن پاک کی تلاوت کرتا ہے۔ روزے اور نماز میں کرتا ہی نہیں کرتا۔ حتی کہ اللہ کے راستہ میں جہاد کرنے والا مجاہد گھر میں لوٹ آئے۔
(18489) Hazrat Abu Hurairah farmate hain ki sahaba ne kaha: Aye Allah ke Rasool ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم))! Kaun si cheez Allah ke raah mein jihad ke barabar hai? Roze aur namaz mein karta hi nahin karta. Hatta ki Allah ke raah mein jihad karne wala mujahid ghar mein laut aaye.
(18490) Narrated by Nauman bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I was near the pulpit of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) when a man said: "There is nothing stopping me from not doing any deed after accepting Islam except establishing the Sacred Mosque (by residing there)." Another man said: "What you said, Jihad (striving) in the way of Allah is better than that." So, Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) scolded them and said: "Do not raise your voices near the pulpit of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)." It was Friday. (He added:) I will ask about your matter of difference after the Friday prayer. Allah Almighty revealed this verse: {Do you consider the providing of drinking water to the pilgrims and the maintenance of Masjid Al-Haram equal to (the worth of) one who believes in Allah and the Last Day and strives in the Cause of Allah? They are not equal before Allah. And Allah does not guide the people who are wrongdoers.} [At-Tawbah 19]. Have you made the act of providing water to the pilgrims and the construction of Masjid Al-Haram equal to the one who believes in Allah and the Last Day and strives in the cause of Allah? They are not equal in the sight of Allah. And Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people.

(١٨٤٩٠) نعمان بن بشیر (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ میں منبر رسول کے پاس تھا کہ ایک شخص نے کہا : مجھے کوئی پر وہ نہیں کہ میں اسلام کے بعد کوئی عمل نہ کروں سوائے مسجد حرام کو آباد کرنے سے۔ دوسرے نے کہہ دیا : جو تو نے کہا اللہ کے راستہ میں جہاد اس سے افضل ہے تو حضرت عمر (رض) نے ان کو ڈانٹا اور فرمایا : منبر رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس آوازیں بلند نہ کرو۔ جمعہ کا دن تھا۔ میں نماز جمعہ کے بعد تمہارا اختلافی مسئلہ پوچھ لوں گا۔ اللہ تعالیٰ نے یہ آیت نازل فرمادی : { اَجَعَلْتُمْ سِقَایَۃَ الْجَآجِّ وَ عِمَارَۃَ الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ کَمَنْ اٰمَنَ بِاللّٰہِ وَالْیَوْمِ الْاٰخِرِ وَ جٰھَدَ فِیْ سَبِیْلِ اللّٰہِ لَا یَسْتَوٗنَ عِنْدَ اللّٰہِ وَ اللّٰہُ لَا یَھْدِی الْقَوْمَ الظّٰلِمِیْن } [التوبہ ١٩] کیا تم نے حاجیوں کو پانی پلانا اور مسجد حرام کی تعمیر کرنا اس شخص کے ماند بنادیا جو اللہ اور آخرت کے دن پر ایمان رکھتا ہے اور اللہ کے راستہ میں جہاد کرتا ہے وہ اللہ کے ہاں برابر نہیں۔
(18490) nauman bin bashir (rz) farmate hain ki main mimbar rasool ke paas tha ki aik shakhs ne kaha : mujhe koi parwah nahi ki main islam ke baad koi amal na karoon siwae masjid haram ko aabaad karne se. doosre ne keh diya : jo tu ne kaha allah ke raaste mein jihad us se afzal hai to hazrat umar (rz) ne un ko daanta aur farmaya : mimbar rasool ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke paas aawazen buland na karo. jumma ka din tha. main namaz jumma ke baad tumhara ikhtilafimasla pooch loon ga. allah ta'ala ne yeh aayat nazil farmadi : { aj'altum siqayah aljaji wa 'imarah almasjidi alharami kaman amana billahi wa yawmi al'akhiri wa jahada fi sabilillahi la yastawuna 'indallahi wa allahu la yahdi alqawma azzalimin } [al tawbah 19] kya tum ne hajiyon ko pani pilana aur masjid haram ki ta'mir karna us shakhs ke maand banadiya jo allah aur aakhirat ke din par iman rakhta hai aur allah ke raaste mein jihad karta hai woh allah ke han barabar nahi.
Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "A place in Paradise equal to the space of a whip is better than the world and all that is in it. A person going out in the path of Allah, morning or evening, is better than the world and all that is in it."

(١٨٤٩١) سہل بن سعد (رض) رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : جنت میں ایک کو ڑے کے برابر جگہ دنیا ومافیھا سے بہتر ہے۔ صبح یا شام کے وقت اللہ کے راستہ میں بندے کا جانا دنیا اور جو کچھ اس میں موجود ہے سے بہتر ہے۔
Sahl bin Saad (RA) Rasool Allah (SAW) se naqal farmate hain ke aap (SAW) ne farmaya: Jannat mein ek kore ke barabar jagah duniya wamafiha se behtar hai subah ya sham ke waqt Allah ke rastay mein bande ka jana duniya aur jo kuch us mein mojood hai se behtar hai
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered a detachment to go on an expedition. They said: O Messenger of Allah! Should we go at night or should we wait for the morning? He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Would you not like that you spend the night in the gardens of Paradise?".

(١٨٤٩٢) حضرت ابوہریرہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ایک سریہ کو جانے کا حکم دیا۔ انھوں نے کہا : اے اللہ کے رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ! رات کو چلے جائیں یا صبح کا انتظار کرلیں۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : کیا تم پسند نہیں کرتے کہ تم رات جنت کے باغوں میں گزارو۔
(18492) Hazrat Abu Hurairah (RA) farmate hain keh Rasool Allah (SAW) ne aik sariya ko jane ka hukum diya. Unhon ne kaha: Aye Allah ke Rasool (SAW)! Raat ko chale jayen ya subah ka intezar kar len. Aap (SAW) ne farmaya: Kya tum pasand nahin karte keh tum raat Jannat ke baghon mein guzaro.
Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "O Abu Sa'id! Whoever is pleased with Allah as his Lord and with Islam as his religion, then Paradise becomes obligatory for him." The narrator said: Abu Sa'id (may Allah be pleased with him) was astonished and said: "Repeat it, O Messenger of Allah!" So you (the Prophet) repeated it. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "A hundred levels are raised for the servant in Paradise, and the distance between each two levels is like the distance between the heaven and the earth." He (Abu Sa'id) said: "What is (the deed for attaining) this, O Messenger of Allah?" He (the Prophet) said: "Striving in the cause of Allah, striving in the cause of Allah, striving in the cause of Allah."

(١٨٤٩٣) حضرت ابو سعید خدری (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اے ابوسعید (رض) ! جو اللہ کے رب اور اسلام کے دین ہونے پر راضی ہوا، اس کے لیے جنت واجب ہوگئی۔ راوی کہتے ہیں کہ ابو سعید (رض) نے تعجب کیا اور کہا : دوبارہ بیان فرمائیں اے اللہ کے رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ! آپ نے پھر فرمایا۔ پھر رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا کہ بندے کے جنت میں سو درجے بلند کردیے جاتے ہیں اور ہر دودرجوں کے درمیانی مسافت زمین و آسمان کے برابر ہے۔ اس نے کہا : یہ کیا ہے ’؟ اے اللہ کے رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ! آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : اللہ کے راستہ میں جہاد کرنا، اللہ کے راستہ میں جہاد کرنا، اللہ کے راستہ میں جہاد کرنا۔
(18493) Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (RA) farmate hain ki Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Aye Abu Saeed (RA)! Jo Allah ke Rabb aur Islam ke deen hone par raazi hua, uske liye Jannat wajib hogayi. Rawi kehte hain ki Abu Saeed (RA) ne taajjub kiya aur kaha: Dobara bayan farmaen aye Allah ke Rasool ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم))! Aap ne phir farmaya. Phir Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya ki bande ke Jannat mein sau darje buland kiye jate hain aur har do darjon ke darmiyani masaafat zameen o aasman ke barabar hai. Usne kaha: Yeh kya hai? Aye Allah ke Rasool ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم))! Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Allah ke raaste mein jihad karna, Allah ke raaste mein jihad karna, Allah ke raaste mein jihad karna.
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever believes in Allah and His Messenger, establishes prayer, pays Zakah, fasts Ramadan, then it is the right of Allah to admit him into Paradise, whether he emigrated in the cause of Allah or died in the land where he was born.” They said, “O Messenger of Allah, should we not inform the people of that?” He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “In Paradise, there are grades, between each of which is the distance between heaven and earth. It is prepared for those who fight in the cause of Allah. So, when you ask Allah (for anything), ask for Al-Firdaus. It is the highest or the middle part of Paradise, and from it the rivers of Paradise flow, and above it is the Throne of the Most Merciful.”

(١٨٤٩٤) حضرت ابوہریرہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : جو شخص اللہ اور رسول پر ایمان رکھے، نماز ادا کرے، زکوۃ دے، رمضان کے روزے رکھے تو اللہ پر حق ہے کہ اس کو جنت میں داخل کردے۔ اس نے اللہ کے راستہ میں ہجرت کی یا اپنی جائے پیدائش پر ہی فوت ہوگیا۔ انھوں نے کہا : اے اللہ کے رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ! کیا ہم لوگوں کو خبر نہ دے دیں ؟ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : جنت میں سودرجے ہیں اور ہر درجہ کے درمیان زمین و آسمان کی مسافت کے برابر فاصلہ ہے۔ یہ اللہ نے مجاہدین کے لیے تیار کی ہے۔ جب بھی تم اللہ سے مانگو تو جنت الفردوس طلب کیا کرو۔ یہ جنت کے درمیان یا اوپر ہے۔ اس سے جنت کی نہریں نکلتی ہیں اور اس کے اوپر رحمن کا عرش ہے۔
18494 Hazrat Abu Huraira (RA) farmate hain ke Rasul Allah (SAW) ne farmaya: Jo shakhs Allah aur Rasul par iman rakhe, namaz ada kare, zakat de, Ramzan ke roze rakhe to Allah par haq hai ke usko Jannat mein dakhil karde. Usne Allah ke raah mein hijrat ki ya apni jae paidaish par hi faut hogaya. Unhon ne kaha: Aye Allah ke Rasul (SAW)! Kya hum logon ko khabar na de den? Aap (SAW) ne farmaya: Jannat mein sau darje hain aur har darje ke darmiyan zameen o asmaan ki musafat ke barabar faisla hai. Ye Allah ne mujahidin ke liye taiyar ki hai. Jab bhi tum Allah se maango to Jannat al-Firdaus talab kiya karo. Ye Jannat ke darmiyan ya upar hai. Is se Jannat ki nahrein nikalti hain aur iske upar Rahman ka Arsh hai.
Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was asked, "Who are the best of people?" He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, "A believer who strives in the cause of Allah with his wealth and his life." It was asked, "Then who?" He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, "A believer who stays in a valley, fearing Allah, the Almighty, and leaves people alone, [staying away] for fear of their evil."

(١٨٤٩٦) حضرت ابوسعید خدری (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے پوچھا گیا کہ کون لوگ افضل ہیں ؟ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : وہ مومن جو اپنے جان ومال سے جہاد کرتا ہے۔ پوچھا : پھر کون ؟ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : وہ مومن جو کسی گھاٹی میں اللہ رب العزت سے ڈرتا ہے اور لوگوں کو ان کے شر کی وجہ سے چھوڑ دیتا ہے۔
(18496) Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (RA) farmate hain keh Rasool Allah (SAW) se poocha gaya keh kaun log afzal hain? Aap (SAW) ne farmaya: Woh momin jo apne jaan o maal se jihad karta hai. Poocha: Phir kaun? Aap (SAW) ne farmaya: Woh momin jo kisi ghati mein Allah Rab ul Izzat se darta hai aur logon ko un ke shar ki wajah se chhor deta hai.
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "The best life for people is that of a person who takes the reins of his mount in the path of Allah. When he hears a cry for help or danger from any direction, he rushes towards it with the speed of lightning. He seeks opportunities of death. Or (the best life is) of a person who lives on his mountain with a few goats or stays in a valley, performs his prayers and pays his zakat and remains steadfast in the worship of his Lord until death overtakes him. Such a person is good for the people.”

(١٨٤٩٧) حضرت ابوہریرہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : لوگوں میں سے اس شخص کی زندگی نہایت بہتر ہے، جس نے اللہ کے راستہ میں اپنی سواری کی لگام کو تھاما۔ جب وہ کسی طرف سے خطرے یا فریاد رسی کی اطلاع پاتا ہے تو برق رفتاری سے اس کی طرف جاتا ہے۔ وہ موت کے مواقع تلاش کرتا ہے یا وہ شخص جو چند بکریوں کے ساتھ اپنی پہاڑی پر مقیم ہے یا کسی وادی میں ڈیرے ڈالے ہوئے ہے۔ وہ مرتے دم تک نماز اور زکوۃ ادا کرتا ہے اور اپنے پروردگار کی عبادت میں لگارہتا ہے۔ ایسا شخص لوگوں سے خیر و بھلائی میں ہے۔ (ب) بعجہ بن عبداللہ بن بدر فرماتے ہیں : پہاڑیوں میں سے کسی پہاڑی پر۔
(18497) Hazrat Abu Huraira (RA) farmate hain keh Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Logon mein se uss shakhs ki zindagi nihayat behtar hai, jis ne Allah ke raaste mein apni sawari ki lagam ko thama. Jab wo kisi taraf se khatre ya faryad rasi ki ittila pata hai to barq raftari se uss ki taraf jata hai. Wo maut ke mauqe talaash karta hai ya wo shakhs jo chand bakriyon ke saath apni pahari par muqeem hai ya kisi wadi mein dere dale huye hai. Wo marte dum tak namaz aur zakat ada karta hai aur apne parvardigaar ki ibadat mein laga rehta hai. Aisa shakhs logon se khair o bhalai mein hai. (b) Baja bin Abd Allah bin Badr farmate hain: pahariyon mein se kisi pahari par.
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Ruined is the slave of Dirhams and Dinars and fine clothing. If he is given, he is pleased, and if he is not given, he is displeased." Wretched and disgraced is such a person. May a thorn prick him and never leave him! And glad tidings to the one who takes the reins of his horse in the path of Allah, his hair dusty and his feet covered in dirt. If he is stationed in the rear of the army, he remains there on duty; if he is placed in the front line, he stands firm. If he seeks permission (to go somewhere), he is not granted it, and if he recommends someone, his recommendation is not accepted. Glad tidings to him, glad tidings to him!

(١٨٤٩٨) حضرت ابوہریرہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : درھم و دینار اور چادر کا بندہ ہلاک ہوگیا۔ اگر دیا جائے تو راضی رہتا ہے اگر نہ ملے تو ناراض ہوجاتا ہے۔ ایسا شخص بدنصیب اور ذلیل ہو، اسے کانٹا چبھ جائے تو نکالانہ جائے اور اس آدمی کے لیے خوشخبری ہے، جس نے اللہ کی راہ میں گھوڑے کی لگام تھام رکھی ہے۔ اس کا سر پرا گندہ اور پاؤں خاک آلود ہیں۔ اگر اسے لشکر کے پچھلے حصے میں متعین کیا جائے تو وہاں ڈیوٹی دیتا ہے۔ اگر اسے حفاظتی دستہ میں کھڑا کیا جائے تو کھڑا ہوجاتا ہے۔ اگر اجازت چاہے تو اجازت نہیں دی جاتی اور کسی کی سفارش کرے تو سفارش نہیں مانی جاتی، اس کو خوشخبری ہو، خوشخبری ہو !
(18498) Hazrat Abu Huraira (RA) farmate hain ke Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Dirham o dinar aur chadar ka banda halaak ho gaya. Agar diya jaye to razi rehta hai agar na mile to naraaz ho jata hai. Aisa shakhs badnaseeb aur zalil ho, use kaanta chubh jaye to nikalane na jaye aur us aadmi ke liye khushkhabri hai, jisne Allah ki rah mein ghore ki lagaam thaam rakhi hai. Uska sar par gunda aur paon khak aalud. Agar use lashkar ke pichhle hisse mein mutayyan kiya jaye to wahan duty deta hai. Agar use hifazati dastay mein khara kiya jaye to khara ho jata hai. Agar ijazat chahe to ijazat nahi di jati aur kisi ki sifarish kare to sifarish nahi mani jati, usko khushkhabri ho, khushkhabri ho!.
Abdullah bin Salam narrated that the Companions said: "Let someone go to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and ask him which deeds are most beloved to Allah?" The narrator said: "No one went to you (the Prophet). We delayed asking you. You called each one of that group until they all gathered, then this Surah was revealed concerning them: {All that is in the heavens and the earth glorifies Allah, and He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise} [Al-Hadid 1]"
Abdullah bin Salam said: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) recited the entire Surah to us." Abu Salamah said: "Abdullah bin Salam recited the entire Surah to us." Yahya bin Abi Kathir said: "Abu Salamah recited the entire Surah to us." And Auza'i said: "Yahya recited the entire Surah to us." Abbas (RA) said: "My father said that Auza'i also recited the entire Surah."

(٩٩ ١٨٤) عبداللہ بن سلام فرماتے ہیں کہ صحابہ کہنے لگے : کسی کو رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس بھیجو کہ وہ پوچھے کہ اللہ کو کون سے اعمال پسندیدہ ہیں ؟ راوی کہتے ہیں : کوئی بھی آپ کے پاس نہ گیا۔ ہم نے آپ سے پوچھنا مؤخر کردیا۔ آپ نے اس گروہ کے ایک ایک فرد کو بلایا حتی کہ وہ سب جمع ہوگئے تو ان کے بارے میں یہ سورة نازل ہوئی : { سَبَّحَ لِلَّہِ مَا فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ وَہُوَ الْعَزِیْزُ الْحَکِیْم } [الحدید ١]
عبداللہ بن سلام کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے مکمل سورت ہمارے سامنے پڑھی۔ ابوسلمہ کہتے ہیں کہ عبداللہ بن سلام نے ہمارے سامنے مکمل سورت پڑھی۔ یحییٰ بن ابی کثیر کہتے ہیں کہ ابو مسلمہ نے وہ سورت پوری ہمارے سامنے پڑھی اور اوزاعی کہتے ہیں : یحییٰ نے وہ سورة مکمل پڑھی۔ عباس (رض) کہتے ہیں کہ میرے والد نے کہا کہ اوزاعی نے بھی مکمل سورت تلاوت کی۔
99 184 Abdullah bin Salam farmate hain keh sahaba kehne lage : kisi ko Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke pas bhejo keh wo pooche keh Allah ko kon se amal pasandida hain ? Rawi kehte hain : koi bhi aap ke pas na gaya. Hum ne aap se poochna moakhir kardiya. Aap ne is giroh ke ek ek fard ko bulaya hatta keh wo sab jama hogaye to un ke bare mein ye sura nazil hui : { Sabbaha lillahi ma fis-samawati wal-ardi wahuwal azeezul hakim } [al hadeed 1]
Abdullah bin Salam kehte hain keh Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne mukammal surat hamare samne parhi. Abu Salama kehte hain Abdullah bin Salam ne hamare samne mukammal surat parhi. Yahya bin Abi Kathir kehte hain keh Abu Muslimah ne wo surat puri hamare samne parhi aur Auzai kehte hain : Yahya ne wo sura mukammal parhi. Abbas (raz) kehte hain keh mere walid ne kaha keh Auzai ne bhi mukammal surat tilawat ki.
Abu Salamah bin 'Abd al-Rahman (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated from 'Abdullah bin Salam (may Allah be pleased with him) that we were gathered together, conversing amongst ourselves about who would ask the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) which deeds are most beloved to Allah. Then we dispersed so that whoever came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) [first could ask]. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) then gathered us all together. We were gesturing to one another [about who would ask] when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) recited this verse: {سَبَّحَ لِلَّهِ مَا فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ وَہُوَ الْعَزِیْزُ الْحَکِیْم} [All that is in the heavens and the earth glorifies Allah, and He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.] Yahya said that Abu Salamah recited it from beginning to end, and Abu Salamah said that 'Abdullah bin Salam (may Allah be pleased with him) recited it from beginning to end. Awza'i said that Yahya recited it from beginning to end, and Abu Ishaq said that Awza'i recited it from beginning to end. Mu'awiyah said that Abu Ishaq recited it from beginning to end before us. Abu Bakr San'ani said that Mu'awiyah recited the entire Surah before us. Abu 'Abbas said that San'ani did not recite the entire Surah. Abu 'Abbas and Qadi recited the beginning part, and Abu 'Abdullah Hafiz recited the entire Surah, and Shaykh also recited the entire Surah.

(١٨٥٠٠) ابو سلمہ بن عبد الرحمن (رض) حضرت عبداللہ بن سلام (رض) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ ہم جمع ہو کر آپس میں بات چیت کر رہے تھے کہ کون رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے پوچھے گا کہ اللہ کو کون سے اعمال زیادہ پسندیدہ ہیں۔ پھر ہم منتشر ہوگئے تاکہ کوئی بھی رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے پاس آئے تو رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے تمام کو جمع فرمایا۔ ہم ایک دوسرے کی جانب اشارہ کر رہے تھے تو رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے ہم یہ آیت تلاوت فرمائی : { سَبَّحَ لِلَّہِ مَا فِی السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ وَہُوَ الْعَزِیْزُ الْحَکِیْم } [الحدید ۔ الحشر ] آسمان و زمین میں موجود تمام اشیاء اللہ کی تسبیحات بیان کرتی ہیں، وہ غالب حکمت والا ہے۔ یحییٰ کہتے ہیں کہ ابو سلمہ نے ابتدا سے لے کر آخر تک تلاوت کی اور ابو سلمہ فرماتے ہیں کہ عبداللہ بن سلام (رض) نے شروع سے آخر تک پڑھی اور اوزاعی کہتے ہیں کہ یحییٰ نے ابتدا سے انتہا تک تلاوت کی اور ابو اسحاق کہتے ہیں کہ اوزاعی نے ابتدا سے اخیر تک تلاوت کی اور معاویہ کہتے ہیں کہ ابو اسحاق نے شروع سے آخر تک پڑھی۔ ابوبکر صنعانی کہتے ہیں کہ معاویہ نے ہمارے سامنے مکمل سورة تلاوت کی۔ ابو العباس کہتے ہیں کہ صنعانی نے مکمل سورة تلاوت نہ کی۔ ابو العباس اور قاضی نے ابتدائی حصہ تلاوت کیا اور ابو عبداللہ حافظ نے مکمل سورة تلاوت کی اور شیخ نے بھی مکمل سورة پڑھی۔
(18500) Abu Salma bin Abdur Rahman (Raz) Hazrat Abdullah bin Salam (Raz) se naql farmate hain ki hum jama ho kar aapas mein baat cheet kar rahe the ki kaun Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se poochhega ki Allah ko kaunse amal ziada pasandida hain. Phir hum muntashir ho gaye taake koi bhi Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke paas aaye to Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne tamam ko jama farmaya. Hum ek doosre ki jaanib ishara kar rahe the to Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne hum ye aayat tilawat farmai: { Sabbaha lillahi ma fis-samawati wal-ard, wahuwal-azeezul-hakeem } [al-Hadid - al-Hashr] Aasman-o-zameen mein mojood tamam ashiya Allah ki tasbeehat bayan karti hain, woh Ghaalib Hikmat wala hai. Yahya kahte hain ki Abu Salma ne ibtida se lekar aakhir tak tilawat ki aur Abu Salma farmate hain ki Abdullah bin Salam (Raz) ne shuru se aakhir tak parhi aur Auzai kahte hain ki Yahya ne ibtida se inteha tak tilawat ki aur Abu Ishaq kahte hain ki Auzai ne ibtida se akhir tak tilawat ki aur Muawiya kahte hain ki Abu Ishaq ne shuru se aakhir tak parhi. Abubakar Sanani kahte hain ki Muawiya ne hamare samne mukammal sura tilawat ki. Abu al-Abbas kahte hain ki Sanani ne mukammal sura tilawat na ki. Abu al-Abbas aur Qazi ne ibtidai hissa tilawat kiya aur Abu Abdullah Hafiz ne mukammal sura tilawat ki aur Sheikh ne bhi mukammal sura parhi.
(18501) Mutarrif ibn Abdullah ibn Shakhir said: This hadith reached me from Abu Dharr, and I desired to meet him. When I met him, I said, "O Abu Dharr! This hadith reached me from you, and I desired to meet you." He said, "May your father be ruined! Now that you have met me, tell me." I said, "You narrated from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that he said, 'Allah loves three things and hates three things.'" He said, "I don't think I would lie about my friend." I said, "What are the three things that Allah loves?" He said, "1. A person fighting against the enemy as is in the Book of Allah: {Indeed, Allah loves those who fight in His cause in a row as though they were a [single] structure firmly joined.} [Al-Saff 4] That Allah loves those who fight in His cause in ranks as if they were a solid structure."
I asked, "Who is the second person?" He said, "The one who bears the hardships of his bad neighbor, so Allah will reward him for it in life or after death." I said, "Who is the third person?" He said, "The one who travels with people, and when they stop, they sleep, but he, out of fear and desire for Allah, gets up and prays after making ablution." I said, "Who are the three people whom Allah hates?" He said, "1. The miser who brags about his favors. 2. The proud and arrogant. 3. This is also in the Book of Allah: {Indeed, Allah does not like everyone self-deluded and boastful.} [Luqman 18] That Allah does not like every arrogant boaster." He said, "Who is the third person?" He said, "The merchant who swears oaths, or the one who sells goods by swearing oaths."

(١٨٥٠١) مطرف بن عبداللہ بن سخیر فرماتے ہیں کہ یہ حدیث مجھے ابو ذر سے ملی اور میں ان سے ملاقات کا شوق رکھتا تھا۔ جب میری ملاقات ہوئی تو میں نے کہا : اے ابوذر ! آپ سے یہ حدیث ملی تھی اور ملاقات کا شوق بھی تھا تو انھوں نے کہا : تیرے باپ کے لیے خرابی ہو۔ اب ملے ہیں تو بتاؤ۔ میں نے کہا : آپ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ آپ نے فرمایا : اللہ تین چیزوں کو پسند اور تین سے بغض رکھتے ہیں۔ کہتے ہیں میرا خیال نہیں کہ میں اپنے دوست پر جھوٹ بولوں۔ میں نے کہا : وہ کون تین اشیاء ہیں جن کو اللہ پسند کرتے ہیں ؟ فرمایا : 1 کسی شخص کا دشمن سے قتال کرنا جیسے اللہ کی کتاب میں موجود ہے۔ { اِنَّ اللّٰہَ یُحِبُّ الَّذِیْنَ یُقَاتِلُوْنَ فِیْ سَبِیْلِہٖ صَفًّا کَاَنَّہُمْ بُنیَانٌ مَّرْصُوصٌ} [الصف ٤] کہ اللہ ان لوگوں سے محبت رکھتا ہے جو اس کے راستہ میں صف باندھ کر جہاد کرتے ہیں۔
میں نے پوچھا : دوسرا کون شخص ؟ فرماتے ہیں کہ وہ شخص جو اپنے برے ہمسائے کی تکالیف پر صبر کرتا ہے تو اللہ اس کو زندگی کے اندر یا موت کے بعد اس کا بدلہ دے گا۔ تیسرا بندہ کون ہے ؟ آپ نے فرمایا : وہ شخص جو لوگوں کے ساتھ سفر میں شامل ہوتا ہے لوگ پڑاؤ کرتے وقت سو جاتے ہیں لیکن یہ اللہ کے ڈر اور رغبت سے وضو کر کے نماز کے لیے کھڑا ہوجاتا ہے۔ وہ تین آدمی کون سے ہیں جن سے اللہ بغض رکھتا ہے ؟ 1 بخیل احسان جتانے والا۔ 2 فخر کرنے والا متکبر۔ 3 یہ بھی اللہ کی کتاب میں موجود ہے۔ { اِنَّ اللّٰہَ لَا یُحِبُّ کُلَّ مُخْتَالٍ فَخُوْرٍ } کہ اللہ متکبر فخر کرنے والے سے محبت نہیں کرتے۔ [لقمان ١٨] اس نے کہا : تیسرا شخص کون ہے ؟ فرمایا : قسمیں اٹھانے والا تاجر یا قسمیں اٹھا کر سامان فروخت کرنے والا۔
(18501) Mutarrif bin Abdullah bin Sakhir farmate hain ki yeh hadees mujhe Abu Zar se mili aur main unse mulaqat ka shauq rakhta tha. Jab meri mulaqat hui to mainne kaha : Aye Abuzar ! aap se yeh hadees mili thi aur mulaqat ka shauq bhi tha to unhon ne kaha : Tere baap ke liye kharabi ho. Ab mile hain to batao. Maine kaha : Aap Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se naql farmate hain ki aap ne farmaya : Allah teen cheezon ko pasand aur teen se bughz rakhte hain. Kahte hain mera khayal nahin ki main apne dost par jhoot bolun. Maine kaha : Woh kaun teen ashiya hain jin ko Allah pasand karte hain ? Farmaya : 1 Kisi shakhs ka dushman se qital karna jaise Allah ki kitab mein mojood hai. { In Allaha Yuhibbul Lazeena Yuqatiluna Fee Sabeelihi Saffan Kaannahum Bunyanun Marsus } [Al-Saff 4] ki Allah un logon se muhabbat rakhta hai jo uske raaste mein saf bandh kar jihad karte hain.
Maine pucha : Dusra kaun shakhs ? Farmate hain ki woh shakhs jo apne bure hamsaye ki takaleef par sabar karta hai to Allah usko zindagi ke andar ya maut ke baad uska badla dega. Teesra banda kaun hai ? Aap ne farmaya : Woh shakhs jo logon ke saath safar mein shamil hota hai log padao karte waqt so jate hain lekin yeh Allah ke dar aur raghbat se wazoo kar ke namaz ke liye khda hojata hai. Woh teen aadmi kaun se hain jin se Allah bughz rakhta hai ? 1 Bakhil ehsan jatane wala. 2 Fakhr karne wala mutakabbir. 3 Yeh bhi Allah ki kitab mein mojood hai. { Innal Laha La Yuhibbu Kulla Mukhtalin Fakhur } ki Allah mutakabbir fakhr karne wale se muhabbat nahin karte. [Luqman 18] Usne kaha : Teesra shakhs kaun hai ? Farmaya : Qasmain uthane wala tajir ya qasmain utha kar saman farokht karne wala.
Abu Said Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that during the Battle of Tabuk, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) delivered a sermon while leaning against a date palm tree and said, "Shall I not tell you about the best and the worst of people? The best person is the one who fights in the way of Allah until death on horseback, or camelback, or on foot. And the worst person is the wicked and sinful one who recites the Book of Allah but does not benefit from it."

(١٨٥٠٢) حضرت ابو سعید خدری (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے غزوہ تبوک میں لوگوں کو کھجور کے ساتھ ٹیک لگا کر خطبہ ارشاد فرمایا کہ میں تمہیں بہترین اور بدترین لوگ نہ بتاؤں ؟ بہتر انسان وہ ہے جو گھوڑے یا اونٹ یا پیادہ موت تک اللہ راستہ میں جہاد کرتا ہے اور بدترین شخص فاجر جری جو کتاب اللہ کی تلاوت کرتا ہے لیکن کوئی چیز اس سے حاصل نہیں کرتا۔
(18502) Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (RA) farmate hain keh Rasool Allah (SAW) ne Ghazwa Tabuk mein logon ko khajoor ke sath teek laga kar khutba irshad farmaya keh mein tumhen behtarin aur badtareen log na bataon? Behtar insan woh hai jo ghore ya unt ya paidal mout tak Allah rasta mein jihad karta hai aur badtareen shakhs fajir jari jo kitab Allah ki tilawat karta hai lekin koi cheez is se hasil nahin karta.
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that a man from amongst the companions passed by a valley where there was a spring of sweet water. He was pleased with its fragrance and beauty. He said: If only I could separate myself from the people and sit here. But first, let me consult the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). When he mentioned it to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), he forbade him from doing so and said: Jihad in the way of Allah is better than sixty years of worship at home. Don't you desire that Allah forgives your sins and enters you into Paradise! Strive in the way of Allah, for whoever strives in the way of Allah for even the time it takes to milk a she-camel, Paradise becomes incumbent upon him.

(١٨٥٠٣) حضرت ابوہریرہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ صحابہ میں سے ایک شخص ایک گھاٹی کے پاس سے گزرا جس میں میٹھے پانی کا چشمہ تھا تو اس کی خوشبو اور خوبصورتی اس کو اچھی لگی۔ اس نے کہا : اگر میں لوگوں سے الگ ہو کر یہاں بیٹھ جاؤں۔ لیکن پہلے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے مشورہ کروں گا۔ جب رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے سامنے بیان کیا تو آپ نے ایسا کرنے سے منع کردیا اور فرمایا : اللہ کے راستہ میں جہاد کرنا گھر میں ٦٠ سال کی عبادت سے بہتر ہے۔ کیا تم پسند نہیں کرتے کہ اللہ تمہارے گناہ معاف کر کے جنت میں داخل کر دے ! اللہ کے راستہ میں جہاد کرو، جس نے اونٹنی کا دودھ دوہنے کے وقت کے برابر اللہ کے راستہ میں جہاد کیا اس کے لیے جنت واجب ہے۔
(18503) Hazrat Abu Hurairah (RA) farmate hain ki sahaba mein se aik shakhs aik ghati ke paas se guzara jis mein meethay pani ka chashma tha to us ki khushbu aur khoobsurti us ko acchi lagi. Us ne kaha: Agar main logon se alag ho kar yahan baith jaun. Lekin pehle Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se mashwara karun ga. Jab Rasul Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke samne bayan kya to aap ne aisa karne se mana kar diya aur farmaya: Allah ke raaste mein jihad karna ghar mein 60 saal ki ibadat se behtar hai. Kya tum pasand nahin karte ki Allah tumhare gunah maaf kar ke jannat mein dakhil kar de! Allah ke raaste mein jihad karo, jis ne untni ka doodh dohnay ke waqt ke barabar Allah ke raaste mein jihad kya us ke liye jannat wajib hai.
Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A person standing in a row (for prayer) in the cause of Allah is better than his sixty years of worship."

(١٨٥٠٤) حضرت عمران بن حصین (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : کسی شخص کا اللہ کے راستہ میں صف میں کھڑا ہونا اس کی ٦٠ برس کی عبادت سے افضل ہے۔
(18504) Hazrat Imran bin Haseen (RA) farmate hain ke Rasool Allah ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Kisi shakhs ka Allah ke raaste mein saf mein khara hona us ki 60 baras ki ibadat se afzal hai.
Abu Saleh narrated from Usman bin Affan (may Allah be pleased with him) that Usman (may Allah be pleased with him) was in the mosque of Khaif, he said: O people! I have heard a hadith from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) which I have kept hidden from you. But now I am revealing it at the time of advice. I heard from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: One day of fighting in the cause of Allah is equal to a thousand days, so every person should think about himself.

(١٨٥٠٥) ابو صالح حضرت عثمان بن عفان (رض) سے نقل فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت عثمان (رض) مسجد خیف میں تھے، فرمایا : اے لوگو ! میں نے ایک حدیث رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے سنی ہے۔ جو میں نے تم سے پوشیدہ رکھی۔ لیکن اب میں نصیحت کے وقت ظاہر کر رہاہوں۔ میں نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے سنا، آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : ایک دن اللہ کے راستہ میں جہاد کرنا ایک ہزار دن کے برابر ہے تو ہر انسان اپنے بارے میں سوچے۔
18505 Abu Saleh Hazrat Usman bin Affan (RA) se naqal farmate hain ke Hazrat Usman (RA) Masjid Khaif mein thay, farmaya: Aye logo! mein ne ek hadees Rasool Allah (SAW) se suni hai. Jo mein ne tum se poshida rakhi. Lekin ab mein nasihat ke waqt zahir kar raha hun. Mein ne Rasool Allah (SAW) se suna, Aap (SAW) ne farmaya: Ek din Allah ke rastay mein jihad karna ek hazar din ke barabar hai to har insan apne bare mein soche.
Abu Umama (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that a man said: “O Messenger of Allah! Permit me to travel.” He (ﷺ) said: “The travel of my Ummah is Jihad in the way of Allah.”

(١٨٥٠٦) حضرت ابو امامہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ ایک شخص نے کہا : اے اللہ کے رسول ! مجھے سیروسیاحت کی اجازت دیں۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : میری امت کی سیروساحت اللہ کی راستہ میں جہاد کرنے میں ہے۔
(18506) Hazrat Abu Umama (RA) farmate hain ke aik shakhs ne kaha: Aye Allah ke Rasool! mujhe sair-o-siahat ki ijazat den. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: meri ummat ki sair-o-siahat Allah ki raah mein jihad karne mein hai.
Abu Umama narrated that a man asked permission from the Prophet (ﷺ). The narrator said: Those who were sitting near the Prophet (ﷺ) tried to grab him. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Leave him." Then he (ﷺ) said: "Come near. Would you like that someone should commit illegal sexual intercourse with your sister?" I said: "No." He asked: "With your daughter?" The narrator said: He (ﷺ) repeatedly asked him, and he denied it each time. He (ﷺ) said: "Then you too should dislike what Allah dislikes and like for your brother what you like for yourself." The man said: "O Messenger of Allah, pray to Allah to make me hate women." The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "O Allah, make women hateful to him." The narrator said: A few days later, he returned. He said: "O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), nothing is more hateful to me than women. Allow me to go on a journey for pleasure." He (ﷺ) said: "The journey and pleasure of my Ummah is in Jihad for the sake of Allah."

(١٨٥٠٧) ابوامامہ فرماتے ہیں کہ ایک شخص نے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) سے کی اجازت طلب کی۔ راوی کہتے ہیں کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے قریب بیٹھے ہوئے افراد نے اس کو پکڑنے کی کوشش کی۔ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : تم اسے چھوڑ دو ۔ پھر آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : قریب ہوجاؤ، کیا آپ کو یہ پسند ہے کہ آپ کی بہن سے زنا کیا جائے۔ میں نے کہا : نہیں۔ آپ نے پوچھا : تیری بیٹی سے۔ راوی کہتے ہیں : آپ بار بار اسے یہ کہتے رہے تو وہ ہر مرتبہ نفی میں جو اب دیتا۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا : تو بھی ناپسند کر اس بات کو جس کو اللہ ناپسند کرتے ہیں۔ اور اپنے بھائی کے لیے بھی وہی پسند کر جو تو اپنے لیے پسند کرتا ہے۔ اس شخص نے کہا : اے اللہ کے رسول ! آپ اللہ سے دعا کریں کہ اللہ مجھے عورتوں سے نفرت پیدا کر دے۔ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا کہ اے اللہ ! تو عورتوں کو اس کے لیے متنفر فرما۔ راوی کہتے ہیں کہ چند دنوں کے بعد وہ پھر واپس آیا۔ اس نے کہا : اے اللہ کے رسول (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) ! عورتوں سے زیادہ بری چیز میرے نزدیک کوئی نہیں۔ آپ مجھے سیر و تفریح کی اجازت دیں۔ آپ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا کہ میری امت کی سیر و سیاحت جہاد فی سبیل اللہ میں ہے۔
18507 AbuUmama farmate hain ke ek shakhs ne Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) se ki ijazat talab ki. Rawi kahte hain ke Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ke qareeb baithe hue afrad ne usko pakadne ki koshish ki. Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Tum use chhod do. Phir Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: Qareeb hojao, kya aapko ye pasand hai ke aap ki behan se zina kiya jaye. Maine kaha: Nahin. Aap ne pucha: Teri beti se. Rawi kahte hain: Aap baar baar use ye kahte rahe to wo har martaba nafi mein jo ab deta. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya: To bhi napasand kar us baat ko jis ko Allah napasand karte hain. Aur apne bhai ke liye bhi wohi pasand kar jo tu apne liye pasand karta hai. Is shakhs ne kaha: Aye Allah ke Rasool! Aap Allah se dua karen ke Allah mujhe auraton se nafrat paida kar de. Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya ke Aye Allah! Tu auraton ko uske liye mutanaffir farma. Rawi kahte hain ke chand dinon ke baad wo phir wapas aaya. Usne kaha: Aye Allah ke Rasool ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم))! Auraton se zyada buri cheez mere nazdeek koi nahin. Aap mujhe sair o tafreeh ki ijazat den. Aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaya ke meri ummat ki sair o siyahat jihad fi sabilillah mein hai.
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that he heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: "The dust of the path of Allah and the smoke of Hellfire cannot be combined in one stomach, and stinginess and faith cannot be combined in the heart of a man."

(١٨٥٠٨) حضرت ابوہریرہ (رض) فرماتے ہیں کہ اس نے رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا کہ اللہ کے راستے کی غبار اور جہنم کا دھواں ایک پیٹ میں اکٹھے نہیں ہوسکتے اور بخل اور ایمان کسی آدمی کے دل میں اکٹھے نہیں رہ سکتے۔
(18508) Hazrat Abu Huraira (RA) farmate hain ke usne Rasul Allah (SAW) ko ye farmate huye suna ke Allah ke raste ki ghubar aur jahannam ka dhuan ek pet mein ikatthe nahin ho sakte aur bukhl aur imaan kisi aadmi ke dil mein ikatthe nahin reh sakte.
