Anas (may Allah be pleased with him): Umm Sulaim asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about a woman who sees in her dream what a man sees. He said: “If a woman experiences a wet dream, then she must perform ghusl.”
حضرت انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ حضرت ام سلیم رضی اللہ عنہا نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے ایسی عورت کے بارے میں دریافت کیا جس نے خواب میں وہ دیکھا جو ایک مرد دیکھتا ہے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”اگر عورت کو بھی احتلام ہو جائے تو اس پر بھی غسل فرض ہے۔“

Umm Salama narrated that Umm Sulaym, the daughter of Abu Talha, came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and said: "O Messenger of Allah! Allah is not shy of the truth, so is there a bath on a woman if she gets a wet dream?" He said: "Yes, if she sees the water."
ام المؤمنین ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ ام سلیم بنت ابی طلحہ رضی اللہ عنہا رسول اللہ ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئیں اور کہا: اللہ کے رسول! اللہ تعالیٰ حق بات کہنے سے نہیں شرماتا، تو کیا عورت پر بھی احتلام ہونے کی صورت میں غسل واجب ہوتا ہے؟ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ہاں، اگر وہی ( رطوبت ) دیکھ لے۔
Am ul momineen Umme Salma raziallahu anha kehti hain ke Umme Sulaim bint Abi Talha raziallahu anha Rasul Allah SAW ki khidmat mein hazir hui aur kaha: Allah ke Rasul! Allah Ta'ala haq baat kehne se nahi sharmate, to kya aurat par bhi ehtelam hone ki soorat mein ghusl wajib hota hai? Aap SAW ne farmaya: Haan, agar wohi ( rutubat ) dekh le.
'Urwa ibn Az-Zubair narrated to me from the wife of the Prophet (ﷺ) that Umm Sulaym Al-Ansariyyah, the mother of Anas bin Malik, said, "O Messenger of Allah! Indeed, Allah is not ashamed of the truth, so (tell me) if a woman sees (in her dream) what a man sees, does she have to perform Ghusl or not? Should she bathe or not?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Yes, she should bathe." The wife of the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Then I turned to her and said, 'May your right hand be rubbed in dust! Do you even see such a thing (in your dreams)?'" She said, "So the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) turned to her (his wife) and said, 'May your right hand be rubbed in dust! How can there be any similarity?"
عروہ بن زبیر نے مجھ سے رسول اللہ ﷺ کی بیوی سے روایت کی کہ ام سلیم انصاریہ، انس بن مالک کی والدہ، نے کہا: "اللہ کے رسول! اللہ تعالیٰ سچ سے نہیں شرماتا، تو بتائیے کہ اگر کوئی عورت (خواب میں) وہی چیز دیکھے جو مرد دیکھتا ہے تو کیا اس پر غسل فرض ہوگا یا نہیں؟ کیا اسے نہانا چاہیے یا نہیں؟" نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: "ہاں، اسے غسل کرنا چاہیے"۔ نبی کریم ﷺ کی بیوی نے کہا: "پھر میں نے ان کی طرف متوجہ ہو کر کہا: "تمہارے سیدھے ہاتھ مٹی میں مل جائیں! کیا تم (اپنے خوابوں میں) ایسی چیز دیکھتی بھی ہو؟" انہوں نے کہا: "تو اللہ کے رسول ﷺ نے اپنی بیوی کی طرف متوجہ ہو کر فرمایا: "تمہارے سیدھے ہاتھ مٹی میں مل جائیں! کیسے مماثلت ہو سکتی ہے؟"۔
Urwa bin Zubair ne mujh se Rasool Allah ki biwi se riwayat ki ke Umm Sulaim Ansariyah, Anas bin Malik ki walida, ne kaha: "Allah ke Rasool! Allah Ta'ala sach se nahi sharmate, to bataiye ke agar koi aurat (khwab mein) wohi cheez dekhe jo mard dekhta hai to kya us par ghusl farz hoga ya nahi? Kya use nahana chahiye ya nahi?" Nabi Kareem ne farmaya: "Haan, use ghusl karna chahiye". Nabi Kareem ki biwi ne kaha: "Phir main ne un ki taraf mutawajjah ho kar kaha: "Tumhare seedhe hath mitti mein mil jayen! Kya tum (apne khwabon mein) aisi cheez dekhti bhi ho?" Unhon ne kaha: "To Allah ke Rasool ne apni biwi ki taraf mutawajjah ho kar farmaya: "Tumhare seedhe hath mitti mein mil jayen! Kaise mumathilat ho sakti hai?".
Zaynab, the daughter of Umm Salamah, reported from her mother Umm Salamah that Umm Sulaym, the wife of Abu Talhah, came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: “O Messenger of Allah! Allah is not ashamed of the truth. Is there a bath on a woman if she has a wet dream?” He ﷺ said: “Yes, if she sees the discharge.”
ام المؤمنین ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہا کی صاحبزادی زینب رضی اللہ عنہا اپنی والدہ سے روایت کرتی ہیں کہ ام سلیم رضی اللہ عنہا (جو ابو طلحہ رضی اللہ عنہ کی زوجہ تھیں) رسول اللہ ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئیں اور عرض کی: اللہ کے رسول! اللہ تعالیٰ حق بات کہنے سے نہیں شرماتا، کیا عورت پر بھی احتلام کی صورت میں غسل واجب ہوتا ہے؟ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ہاں، اگر اسے (خواب کے ساتھ) رطوبت محسوس ہو۔
Am ul momineen Umme Salma raziallahu anha ki sahibzadi Zainab raziallahu anha apni walida se riwayat karti hain ki Umme Sulaim raziallahu anha (jo Abu Talha raziallahu anhu ki zauja thi) Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ki khidmat mein hazir हुईं aur arz ki: Allah ke Rasul! Allah Ta'ala haq baat kehne se nahi sharmate, kya aurat par bhi ehtelam ki soorat mein ghusl wajib hota hai? Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: Haan, agar use (khwab ke sath) rutubat mehsoos ho.
Ubayy ibn Ka'b reported: I said, "O Messenger of Allah, a man has intercourse with his wife but does not ejaculate?" He said: "He must wash whatever has touched her of his body, perform ablution and pray."
حضرت ابی بن کعب رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ میں نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم! اگر کوئی آدمی اپنی بیوی سے جماع کرے اور اس کی منی نہ نکلے تو ؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "وہ اپنے بدن کے اس حصے کو دھو لے جو اسے لگا ہو اور وضو کر کے نماز پڑھے"۔
Hazrat Abi bin Kaab Raziallahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki maine arz kiya: Ya Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam! Agar koi aadmi apni biwi se jima kare aur uski mani na nikle to? Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Woh apne badan ke us hisse ko dho le jo use laga ho aur wuzu kar ke namaz parhe".
Ubayy ibn Ka'b narrated that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "If one of you has intercourse with his wife but ejaculates without pleasure, then he should wash his penis and private parts, perform ablution, and then pray."
حضرت عُبَيّ بن کعب رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "تم میں سے جو اپنی بیوی سے صحبت کرے اور اسے بغیر ہیجان کے انزال ہو جائے تو اسے چاہیے کہ وہ اپنا ذکر اور شرمگاہ دھوئے، وضو کرے اور نماز پڑھے"۔
Hazrat Ubayy bin Kaab Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Tum mein se jo apni biwi se suhbat kare aur use baghair haijan ke inzal ho jaye to use chahie ki woh apna zikr aur sharamgah dhoye, wazu kare aur namaz parhe".
Abu Sa'id al-Khudri reported: We went out with the Prophet (ﷺ) one day, until we passed by the house of a man from the Ansar. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Where is so-and-so?" So he called him, and the man came out in a hurry, with water dripping from his head. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Perhaps we rushed you from your need." The man said, "Yes, by Allah, O Messenger of Allah, you did rush me." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "If one of you hurries or is interrupted, then there is no ghusl upon him, but only that he performs wudu."
ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم ایک دن نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ کہیں نکلے تو راستے میں ایک انصاری صحابی کے گھر کے پاس سے گزرے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے پوچھا، ’’فلاں کہاں ہیں؟ ‘‘ انہوں نے ان کو آواز دی تو وہ جلدی جلدی نکلے، ان کے سر سے پانی ٹپک رہا تھا۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے پوچھا، ’’ہم نے تمہیں تمہارے کام سے جلدی میں تو نہیں نکلوایا ہے؟ ‘‘ انہوں نے کہا کہ جی ہاں اللہ کی قسم! اللہ کے رسول! آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ضرور جلدی میں نکلوایا ہے۔ تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا، ’’جب تم میں سے کوئی جلدی کرے یا اسے (کسی کام کے لیے) روکا جائے تو اس پر غسل نہیں ہے، ہاں وہ وضو کرلے‘‘ ۔
Abu Saeed Khudri Radi Allahu Anhu kehte hain ki hum ek din Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke sath kahin nikle to raste mein ek Ansaari sahabi ke ghar ke paas se guzre to Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne poocha, ''Falan kahan hain?'' Unhon ne un ko awaz di to woh jaldi jaldi nikle, un ke sar se pani tapk raha tha. Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne poocha, ''Hum ne tumhen tumhare kaam se jaldi mein to nahin nikalwaya hai?'' Unhon ne kaha ki ji haan Allah ki qasam! Allah ke Rasool! Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne zaroor jaldi mein nikalwaya hai. To Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya, ''Jab tum mein se koi jaldi kare ya use (kisi kaam ke liye) roka jaye to us par ghusl nahin hai, haan woh wuzu karle''.
Zayd ibn Khalid Al-Juhani narrated that he asked Uthman ibn Affan about a man who ejaculates without having intercourse, Uthman replied, “He does not have to perform Ghusl (ritual bath).” Then Uthman said, “I heard it from the Messenger of Allah.” Zayd said, “After that I asked Ali ibn Abi Talib, Zubair ibn al-Awwam, Talha ibn Ubaydullah and Ubayy ibn Ka'b, and they all said the same.”
زيد بن خالد الجہنی نے بیان کیا کہ انہوں نے عثمان بن عفان سے ایسے شخص کے بارے میں پوچھا جو مباشرت کے بغیر منی کا اخراج کرے تو عثمان نے جواب دیا کہ "اس پر غسل (جنابت کا غسل) واجب نہیں ہے۔" پھر عثمان نے کہا کہ "میں نے یہ رسول اللہ ﷺ سے سنا ہے۔" زید نے کہا کہ "اس کے بعد میں نے علی بن ابی طالب، زبیر بن العوام، طلحہ بن عبیداللہ اور عبی بن کعب سے پوچھا تو ان سب نے بھی یہی کہا۔"
Zayd bin Khalid al-Jahni ne bayan kya ke unhon ne Usman bin Affan se aise shakhs ke bare mein poocha jo mubashrat ke baghair mani ka ikhraj kare to Usman ne jawab diya ke "Is par ghusl (janabat ka ghusl) wajib nahin hai" Phir Usman ne kaha ke "Maine ye Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se suna hai" Zayd ne kaha ke "Is ke baad maine Ali bin Abi Talib, Zubair bin al-Awwam, Talha bin Ubaidullah aur Ubayy bin Ka'b se poocha to un sab ne bhi yahi kaha"
Abu Huraira reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "When one sits between her four parts and exerts himself, then he must perform ghusl (ritual bath)."
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”جب آدمی اپنی بیوی کے چاروں طرف بیٹھ کر جماع کرے تو اس پر غسل فرض ہو جاتا ہے“۔

'Aishah said: "The Prophet ﷺ and I had sexual intercourse, but he did not ejaculate. So we performed Ghusl."
عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے بیان کیا کہ نبی کریم ﷺ کے ساتھ میرا ایسا جماع ہوا کہ آپ ﷺ کا نطفہ نہیں نکلا، تو ہم نے غسل کیا۔
Aisha raza Allah tala anha ne bayan kia keh Nabi kareem sallallahu alaihi wasallam ke sath mera aisa jama hua keh aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ka nutfa nahi nikla to hum ne ghusal kia
Aisha said: "When the two circumcised parts meet, then ghusl (ritual bath) becomes obligatory." She said: "The Prophet (ﷺ) and I used to do this (have sexual intercourse) and take a bath (together).
حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ جب دونوں ختن شدہ حصے ملتے ہیں تو غسل فرض ہو جاتا ہے، آپ نے فرمایا کہ نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اور میں ایسا ہی کرتے (یعنی صحبت کرتے) اور (ایک ساتھ) غسل کر لیتے تھے۔
Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allahu Anha kehti hain keh jab donon khatna shuda hissay miltay hain to ghusl farz ho jata hai, Aap ne farmaya keh Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam aur mein aisa hi kartay (yani suhbat kartay) aur (ek sath) ghusl kar letay thay.
Abu Huraira reported that the Prophet ﷺ said, "When one sits between the four parts of her and exerts himself, then the bath (Ghusl) becomes obligatory." In the narration of Matar (it is said): "Even if he does not ejaculate."
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: "جب آدمی اپنی بیوی کے چاروں طرفوں کے درمیان بیٹھے اور جماع کی کوشش کرے تو اس پر غسل فرض ہو جاتا ہے۔" حضرت مطر کی روایت میں ہے: "چاہے اس کا نطفہ ہی کیوں نہ نکلے۔"
Hazrat Abu Huraira Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Jab aadmi apni biwi ke chaaron tarfon ke darmiyan baithe aur jima ki koshish kare to us par ghusl farz ho jata hai." Hazrat Mutar ki riwayat mein hai: "Chahe us ka nuthfa hi kyun na nikle."
Muhammad ibn Mutarrif reported that the Prophet ﷺ, in the beginning of Islam, permitted (sexual intercourse after) considering water to be sufficient to purify from water (i.e., semen). Then afterwards he ordered taking a bath (after such a sexual intercourse).
محمد بن مطرف رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے شروع اسلام میں صرف پانی (مشت زنی وغیرہ کے بعد) دیکھ لینے کو غسل کے لیے کافی قرار دیا تھا، پھر بعد میں آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایسے غسل کا حکم دیا۔
Muhammad bin Mutarrif Radi Allahu Anhu ne bayan kya ke Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne shuru Islam mein sirf pani (musht zani waghaira ke baad) dekh lene ko ghusl ke liye kaafi karar diya tha, phir baad mein Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne aise ghusl ka hukum diya.
Al-Zuhri said: I asked 'Urwa about the one who engages in intercourse but does not ejaculate. He said, "The people should follow the later ruling, and the later ruling is from the command of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ." Aishah told me, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would do that and not perform ghusl. That was before the conquest of Mecca. Then he performed ghusl after that and commanded the people to perform ghusl."
الزُّهری رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے عروہ رحمۃ اللہ علیہ سے اس شخص کے بارے میں پوچھا جو جماع کرے لیکن اس سے انزال نہ ہو تو انہوں نے کہا کہ لوگوں کو بعد والے حکم پر عمل کرنا چاہیے اور بعد والا حکم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا حکم ہے۔ حضرت عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے مجھے بتایا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ایسا کرتے تھے اور غسل نہیں فرماتے تھے، یہ فتح مکہ سے پہلے کی بات ہے پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس کے بعد غسل فرمایا اور لوگوں کو بھی غسل کرنے کا حکم دیا۔
Al-Zuhri rehmatullah alaih kehte hain ki maine Urwah rehmatullah alaih se is shakhs ke bare mein poocha jo jima kare lekin us se inzal na ho to unhon ne kaha ki logon ko baad wale hukm par amal karna chahie aur baad wala hukm Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ka hukm hai. Hazrat Ayesha Siddiqa radi Allahu anha ne mujhe bataya ki Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam aisa karte thay aur ghusl nahin farmate thay, yeh Fath Makkah se pehle ki baat hai phir aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne is ke baad ghusl farmaya aur logon ko bhi ghusl karne ka hukm diya.
Aishah narrated that she was asked about a man who ejaculates but does not release any fluid. She said: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and I performed sexual intercourse, and we both performed Ghusl from it."
عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ ان سے ایک ایسے شخص کے بارے میں پوچھا گیا جو انزال تو کرتا ہے لیکن اس سے کوئی مادہ خارج نہیں ہوتا۔ تو انہوں نے کہا کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے میرے ساتھ صحبت فرمائی اور ہم دونوں نے اس سے غسل کیا۔
Aisha raza Allah anha se riwayat hai ke un se ek aise shakhs ke bare mein poocha gaya jo inzal to karta hai lekin us se koi madda kharij nahin hota to unhon ne kaha ke Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne mere sath suhbat farmai aur hum donon ne us se ghusul kiya
Qatadah narrated to us, from Al-Hasan, from Abu Rafi', from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "When one sits between her four parts and exerts himself, then ghusl becomes obligatory."
قتادہ نے ہمیں الحسن سے ، انہوں نے ابو رافع سے ، انہوں نے حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "جب آدمی اپنی بیوی کے چاروں اطراف کے درمیان بیٹھے اور جماع کرے تو اس پر غسل فرض ہو جاتا ہے۔"
Qatadah ne humain Al Hasan se, unhon ne Abu Rafi se, unhon ne Hazrat Abu Hurairah Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat ki keh Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Jab aadmi apni biwi ke chaaron taraf ke darmiyaan baithe aur jima kare to us par ghusl farz ho jata hai."
Aisha reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “When the two circumcised parts meet, then the ghusl (ritual bath) is obligatory.”
عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "جب دونوں ختن شدہ حصے مل جائیں تو غسل فرض ہو جاتا ہے"۔
Ayesha raza Allah anha se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "Jab donon khatna shuda hisse mil jayen to ghusl farz ho jata hai".
Narrated Aisha: The Prophet ﷺ said: "Whenever the two circumcised parts meet, ghusl (ritual bath) becomes obligatory."
حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا ”جب بھی دو ختن والی جگہیں مل جائیں تو غسل فرض ہو جاتا ہے“

Aishah reported: She was asked about a man who has intercourse with his wife but does not ejaculate. She said: I and Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) did that, and we took bath.
حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے ایک شخص کے بارے میں دریافت کیا گیا جو اپنی بیوی سے مباشرت تو کرتا ہے لیکن انزال نہیں ہوتا۔ تو انھوں نے فرمایا: میں اور رسول اللہ ﷺ ایسا کرتے تھے اور ہم غسل کرتے تھے۔
Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allahu Anha se aik shakhs ke baare mein دریافت kia gaya jo apni biwi se mubashrat to karta hai lekin inzal nahin hota. To unhon ne farmaya: main aur Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam aisa karte thay aur hum ghusl karte thay.
Aishah reported: She was asked about a man who has intercourse but does not ejaculate. She said: “The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and I did that, and we bathed together from it.”
عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے ایک شخص کے بارے میں پوچھا گیا جو جماع تو کرتا ہے مگر انزال نہیں ہوتا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ میرا بھی ایسا ہی ہوتا تھا تو ہم دونوں اس سے غسل کرتے تھے۔
Ayesha razi Allahu anha se aik shakhs ke bare mein poocha gaya jo jima to karta hai magar inzal nahin hota. Unhon ne kaha ke Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ke sath mera bhi aisa hi hota tha to hum donon is se gusal karte thay.
Yunus narrated to me from Ibn Shihab that Ubaidullah ibn Abdullah informed him that his father said, “I eagerly sought to find someone who could tell me if the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) prayed Duha prayer. I couldn't find anyone except Umm Hani, daughter of Abu Talib, who told me, ‘The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came after the sun had risen high on the day of the conquest of Makkah and asked for a garment to cover himself. He performed ablution (Ghusl) and then stood up and prayed eight Rakats. I don't know whether his standing, bowing or prostrating was longer, all of it was close in duration. She said, ‘And I didn’t see him praying it before nor after that.’”
یونس نے مجھ سے ابن شہاب سے روایت کی کہ عبیداللہ بن عبداللہ نے انہیں بتایا کہ ان کے والد نے کہا کہ "میں بڑی آرزو سے کسی ایسے شخص کی تلاش میں تھا جو مجھے بتا سکے کہ کیا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم چاشت کی نماز پڑھتے تھے۔ مجھے ام ہانی بنت ابی طالب کے سوا کوئی نہ مل سکا، جنہوں نے مجھے بتایا کہ 'رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم فتح مکہ کے دن سورج بلند ہونے کے بعد آئے اور اپنے آپ کو ڈھانپنے کے لیے کپڑا مانگا۔ آپ نے غسل کیا اور پھر کھڑے ہو کر آٹھ رکعات پڑھیں۔ میں نہیں جانتی کہ آپ کا کھڑا ہونا، جھکنا یا سجدہ کرنا زیادہ لمبا تھا، یہ سبھی دورانیے میں قریب تھے۔' انہوں نے کہا کہ 'اور میں نے آپ کو اس سے پہلے اور نہ بعد میں اسے پڑھتے ہوئے نہیں دیکھا۔'"
Younus ne mujh se Ibn e Shahab se riwayat ki keh Ubaidullah bin Abdullah ne unhen bataya keh un ke walid ne kaha keh "main badi arzoo se kisi aise shakhs ki talash mein tha jo mujhe bata sake keh kya Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam chast ki namaz parhte thay. Mujhe Umm e Hani bint e Abi Talib ke siwa koi na mil saka, jinhon ne mujhe bataya keh 'Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam Fath e Makkah ke din sooraj buland hone ke baad aaye aur apne aap ko dhaanpne ke liye kapra manga. Aap ne ghusl kiya aur phir khare ho kar aath rakat parhin. Main nahin janti keh aap ka khara hona, jhukna ya sajda karna zyada lamba tha, yeh sabhi doraniye mein qareeb thay.' Unhon ne kaha keh 'aur main ne aap ko is se pehle aur na baad mein ise parhte hue nahin dekha.'"
Abu Murrah, the freed slave of the mother of Hani' bint Abi Talib, told him that he heard Umm Hani' bint Abi Talib say: I went to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, on the Day of the Conquest and found him performing ghusl (ritual bath) while Fatimah, his daughter, was covering him with a cloth. She said: I greeted (the Prophet) and he said: "Who is this?" I said: Umm Hani', the daughter of Abu Talib. So the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Welcome, O Umm Hani'." When he finished his ghusl, he stood up and prayed eight rak'ahs, wrapping himself in a single garment. Then he finished (the prayer) and I said to him: O Messenger of Allah, my nephew, Ali ibn Abi Talib, may Allah be pleased with him, claims that he will kill a man whom I have given refuge, so-and-so, the son of Hubayrah. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "We have given refuge to whom you have given refuge, O Umm Hani'." And that was in the forenoon.
حضرت ابو مرہ، جو حضرت ہانی بنت ابی طالب کی والدہ کے آزاد کردہ غلام تھے، نے ان سے بیان کیا کہ انہوں نے حضرت ام ہانی بنت ابی طالب کو یہ کہتے ہوئے سنا: میں فتح مکہ کے دن رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئی تو آپ غسل کر رہے تھے اور آپ کی صاحبزادی فاطمہ آپ کو کپڑے سے ڈھانپ رہی تھیں۔ انہوں نے کہا: میں نے سلام کیا تو آپ نے فرمایا: یہ کون ہے؟ میں نے عرض کیا: ام ہانی بنت ابی طالب ہوں۔ تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تشریف لائیے، اے ام ہانی۔ جب آپ نے غسل سے فراغت حاصل کی تو آپ کھڑے ہوئے اور ایک ہی کپڑے میں بدن کو لپیٹ کر آٹھ رکعتیں نماز ادا کیں۔ پھر آپ نماز سے فارغ ہوئے تو میں نے آپ سے کہا: یا رسول اللہ، میرے بھتیجے علی بن ابی طالب رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ وہ ایک ایسے شخص کو قتل کر دیں گے جسے میں نے پناہ دی ہے، فلاں بن فلاں، حبیرہ کا بیٹا۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ہم نے اسے پناہ دے دی ہے جسے تم نے پناہ دی ہے، اے ام ہانی۔ اور یہ سب کچھ ظہر سے پہلے کا واقعہ ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Marah, jo Hazrat Hani bint Abi Talib ki walida ke azad kardah gulam thay, ne un se bayan kiya keh unhon ne Hazrat Umme Hani bint Abi Talib ko yeh kehte huye suna: mein Fath Makkah ke din Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ki khidmat mein hazir hui to aap ghusl kar rahay thay aur aap ki sahibzadi Fatima aap ko kapray se dhaamp rahi thin. Unhon ne kaha: mein ne salam kiya to aap ne farmaya: yeh kaun hai? Mein ne arz kiya: Umme Hani bint Abi Talib hun. To Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: tashreef laayiye, aye Umme Hani. Jab aap ne ghusl se faraghat hasil ki to aap kharay huye aur ek hi kapray mein badan ko lapet kar aath rakat namaz ada kin. Phir aap namaz se farigh huye to mein ne aap se kaha: Ya Rasul Allah, merey bhateeje Ali bin Abi Talib razi Allah anhu kehte hain keh woh aik aisey shakhs ko qatal kar dengey jisey mein ne panah di hai, falan bin falan, Hubayrah ka beta. Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: hum ne usey panah de di hai jisey tum ne panah di hai, aye Umme Hani. Aur yeh sab kuch zuhar se pehle ka waqeya hai.
Umm Hani said:
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ descended in upper Mecca, and I came to him. Abu Dharr came to him with a basin of water. I saw traces of dough in it. Abu Dharr covered him, and he performed ablution. Then the Prophet ﷺ covered Abu Dharr, and he performed ablution. Then the Prophet ﷺ prayed eight rak'ahs, and that was at the time of Duha.
امّ ہانی رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم مکہ میں اُترے تو میں آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئی۔ ابوذر رضی اللہ عنہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس پانی کا ایک برتن لے کر آئے۔ میں نے اس میں آٹے کے نشانات دیکھے۔ ابوذر رضی اللہ عنہ نے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو اوڑھا دیا اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے وضو کیا۔ پھر نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ابوذر رضی اللہ عنہ کو اوڑھا دیا اور انہوں نے وضو کیا۔ پھر نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے آٹھ رکعت نماز پڑھی اور وہ چاشت کا وقت تھا۔
Umm Hani raza Allah anha kehti hain keh Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam Makkah mein utre to main aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ki khidmat mein hazir hui. Abuzar raza Allah anhu aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ke pass pani ka ek bartan lekar aye. Maine is mein aate ke nishan dekhe. Abuzar raza Allah anhu ne aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ko odha diya aur aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne wuzu kiya. Phir Nabi Kareem sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne Abuzar raza Allah anhu ko odha diya aur unhon ne wuzu kiya. Phir Nabi Kareem sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne aath rakat namaz parhi aur woh chasht ka waqt tha.
Umm Ayman narrated: I brought water to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) for taking a bath after Janabah. He (ﷺ) washed his hands two times or three times, then dipped his right hand in the water container and poured water over his private parts, then washed them with his left hand. He then struck his left hand on the ground and rubbed it vigorously. Then he performed ablution like that for prayer. Then he poured three handfuls of water over his head. Then he moved from his place that and washed his feet. Then, I brought him a towel, but he refused it.
ام ایمن بیان کرتی ہیں کہ میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے لیے غسل جنابت کے لیے پانی لائی۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنے ہاتھ دو یا تین بار دھوئے، پھر اپنا دایاں ہاتھ برتن میں ڈالا اور اپنے ستر پر پانی ڈالا، پھر انہیں بائیں ہاتھ سے دھویا۔ پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنا بایاں ہاتھ زمین پر مارا اور اسے اچھی طرح رگڑا۔ پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے نماز کی طرح وضو کیا۔ پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنے سر پر تین چلو پانی ڈالا۔ پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اپنی جگہ سے ہٹے اور اپنے پاؤں دھوئے۔ پھر میں آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے لیے تولیہ لائی تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اسے لینے سے انکار کر دیا۔
Umme Ayman bayan karti hain ke main Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ke liye ghusl janabat ke liye pani laayi Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne apne hath do ya teen baar dhoye phir apna daayan hath bartn mein dala aur apne satar par pani dala phir unhen baayen hath se dhoya Phir Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne apna baayan hath zameen par mara aur usay acchi tarah ragda Phir Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne namaz ki tarah wazu kiya Phir Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne apne sar par teen chulu pani dala Phir Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam apni jaga se hatey aur apne paon dhoye Phir main Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ke liye toliya laayi to Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne usay lenay se inkar kar diya
Aishah described how the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to perform ghusl from janabah. She said, “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) would wash his hands three times, then he would pour water with his right hand over his left and wash his private parts and whatever was on them. Then he would perform madmudah (rinsing the mouth) and istinshaq (inhaling water into the nose) three times, then he would wash his face and hands three times, then he would pour water over his head three times, then he would pour water over himself.”
حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا بیان کرتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جنابت کے غسل کس طرح کرتے تھے، آپ ﷺ فرماتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پہلے تین بار اپنے ہاتھ دھوتے، پھر اپنے دائیں ہاتھ سے بائیں ہاتھ پر پانی ڈالتے اور اپنی شرمگاہ اور اس پر لگی ہوئی چیزوں کو دھوتے، پھر کلی کرتے اور ناک میں پانی چڑھاتے، تین بار، پھر تین بار اپنا چہرہ اور ہاتھ دھوتے، پھر تین بار اپنے سر پر پانی ڈالتے، پھر اپنے پورے جسم پر پانی بہاتے۔
Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allahu Anha bayan karti hain ke Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam junabat ke ghusl kis tarah karte thay, Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam farmati hain ke Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam pehle teen bar apne hath dhote, phir apne daen hath se baen hath par pani daalte aur apni sharamgah aur us par lagi hui cheezon ko dhote, phir kuli karte aur naak mein pani charhate, teen bar, phir teen bar apna chehra aur hath dhote, phir teen bar apne sar par pani daalte, phir apne poore jism par pani bahati.
Aishah reported: I asked Aishah, "Can a woman and her husband perform ghusl from janabah from the same container together?" She said, "Yes, water is pure and does not become impure. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and I would perform ghusl from the same container. I would begin and pour water over his hand before he dipped them in the water."
عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ میں نے ان سے دریافت کیا کہ کیا عورت اور اس کا شوہر ایک برتن سے مل کر غسل جنابت کر سکتے ہیں؟ تو انہوں نے کہا کہ ہاں، پانی پاک ہے، وہ ناپاک نہیں ہوتا۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اور میں ایک ہی برتن میں غسل کرتے تھے۔ میں پہلے غسل شروع کرتی اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ہاتھوں پر پانی ڈالتی پھر آپ اپنے ہاتھ پانی میں ڈالتے۔
Ayesha raziallahu anha se riwayat hai ke maine unse daryaft kiya ke kya aurat aur uska shohar ek bartan se mil kar ghusl e janabat kar sakte hain to unhon ne kaha ke haan pani pak hai woh napaak nahi hota Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam aur main ek hi bartan mein ghusl karte thay main pehle ghusl shuru karti aur aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ke hathon par pani dalti phir aap apne hath pani mein daalte
Aisha said: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ and I used to take bath from one vessel after Janabah, dipping our hands in it together."
عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ اور میں ایک برتن میں ایک ساتھ ہاتھ ڈال کر جنابت کے بعد غسل کرتے تھے۔
Aisha Radi Allahu Anha kehti hain ke Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam aur main aik bartan mein aik saath haath daal kar janabat ke baad ghusl karte thay.
Aisha reported: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and I used to take bath from a single vessel and we would use the water from it till one of us had enough."
حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا بیان کرتی ہیں کہ ''رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اور میں ایک ہی برتن سے غسل فرماتے اور اس میں سے پانی استعمال کرتے یہاں تک کہ ہم میں سے ایک (پہلے) فارغ ہو جاتا۔''
Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allaho Anha bayan karti hain keh ''Rasool Allah Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam aur mein aik hi bartan se ghusl farmate aur us mein se pani istemaal karte yahan tak keh hum mein se aik (pehle) farigh ho jata.''
Aishah said: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ and I used to take a bath from one container, and he would say: 'Leave some for me, leave some for me.'"
عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ ہم نبی ﷺ ایک ہی برتن میں غسل فرماتے تھے، اور آپ ﷺ مجھ سے فرماتے: "میرے لیے چھوڑ دو، میرے لیے چھوڑ دو"۔
Ayesha Radi Allahu Anha kehti hain ke hum Nabi SAW ek hi bartan mein ghusl farmate thay, aur aap SAW mujh se farmate: "Mere liye chhor do, mere liye chhor do".
'Aisha reported: When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) performed ghusl after sexual discharge, he would first wash his hands and then perform wudu like that for prayer. He would then put his fingers in water and run them through the roots of his hair, and then pour three handfuls of water over his head. He would then pour water over the rest of his body.
حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا بیان کرتی ہیں کہ جب رسول اللہ ﷺ احتلام کے بعد غسل فرماتے تو پہلے اپنے ہاتھ دھوتے، پھر نماز کی طرح وضو فرماتے، پھر اپنی انگلیوں کو پانی میں ڈال کر بالوں کی جڑوں میں پھیرتے، پھر اپنے سر پر تین چلو پانی ڈالتے، پھر اپنے جسم کے باقی حصے پر پانی بہاتے۔
Hazrat Ayesha razi Allah anha bayan karti hain keh jab Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ehtelam ke baad ghusl farmate to pehle apne hath dhote, phir namaz ki tarah wuzu farmate, phir apni ungliyon ko pani mein daal kar baalon ki jaron mein phirte, phir apne sar par teen chulu pani daalte, phir apne jism ke baqi hisse par pani bahati.
Aisha said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to take a bath with a vessel of water like this - and Abu 'Asim made a gesture with his two hands - he would pour on his right side, then he would take (water) in his two hands and pour it over the rest of his body.
عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اتنے پانی میں غسل فرماتے تھے ۔۔۔ اور ابو عاصم نے اپنے دونوں ہاتھوں سے اشارہ کیا ۔۔۔ تو آپ دائیں جانب ڈالتے، پھر اپنے دونوں ہاتھوں میں لے کر باقی بدن پر بہالیتے۔
Ayesha raza Allah anha kehti hain ke Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam itne pani mein ghusl farmate thy ... aur Abu Asim ne apne donon hathon se ishara kya ... to aap dain janib daalte, phir apne donon hathon mein lekar baqi badan par bahalate.
Umm Salama narrated that she asked the Prophet ﷺ: "I am a woman who has tightly braided hair. Should I undo it for the bath of Janabah?" He ﷺ said, "It is sufficient for you to pour three handfuls of water over your head, then pour water over yourself, and then you will be purified."
ام المؤمنین ام سلمہؓ بیان کرتی ہیں کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ سے پوچھا کہ میں اپنے بالوں کی مضبوط چٹیاں کرتی ہوں، تو کیا مجھے جنابت کے غسل کے لیے انہیں کھولنا ہوگا؟ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا تمہارے لیے یہ کافی ہے کہ اپنے سر پر تین چلو پانی ڈالو، پھر اپنے پورے بدن پر پانی ڈالو، بس تم پاک ہو جاؤ گی۔
Um al momineen Umme Salma bayan karti hain ke maine Nabi Kareem se poocha ke main apne baalon ki mazboot chatian karti hoon, to kya mujhe junabat ke ghusl ke liye inhe kholna hoga? Aap ne farmaya tumhare liye yeh kafi hai ke apne sar par teen chulu pani dalo, phir apne poore badan par pani dalo, bas tum pak ho jaogi.
Aisha reported: A woman asked the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, about the ghusl (ritual bath) for menstruation. He instructed her to wash with water and lotus leaves, and to take a piece of cotton with water and purify herself with it. She said, "How do I purify myself with it?" He said, "Purify yourself with it." She said, "How do I purify myself with it?" The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, shielded himself with his hand and said, "Glory be to Allah! Purify yourself with it." Aisha said, "So I pulled the woman aside and said, "Wipe the traces of blood with it."
حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ ایک عورت نے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے حیض کے غسل کے بارے میں پوچھا تو آپ نے اسے ہدایت فرمائی کہ وہ پانی اور بیری کے پتوں سے غسل کرے اور پانی کے ساتھ روئی کا ایک ٹکڑا لے کر اس سے خود کو پاک کر لے۔ اس نے کہا، "میں اس سے اپنے آپ کو کیسے پاک کروں؟" آپ نے فرمایا، "اس سے اپنے آپ کو پاک کرو۔" اس نے کہا، "میں اس سے اپنے آپ کو کیسے پاک کروں؟" نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنے ہاتھ سے اپنا چہرہ مبارک چھپا لیا اور فرمایا، "سبحان اللہ! اس سے اپنے آپ کو پاک کرو۔" حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہا، "تو میں نے اس عورت کو ایک طرف لے جا کر کہا، "اس سے خون کے آثار صاف کر لو۔"
Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allahu Anha se riwayat hai ki aik aurat ne Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam se haiz ke ghusal ke bare mein poocha to aap ne use hidayat farmai ki woh pani aur beri ke patton se ghusal kare aur pani ke sath rui ka aik tukda lekar us se khud ko pak kar le. Us ne kaha, "Mein is se apne aap ko kaise pak karoon?" Aap ne farmaya, "Is se apne aap ko pak karo." Us ne kaha, "Mein is se apne aap ko kaise pak karoon?" Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne apne hath se apna chehra mubarak chhupa liya aur farmaya, "Subhan Allah! Is se apne aap ko pak karo." Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allahu Anha ne kaha, "To mein ne us aurat ko aik taraf le ja kar kaha, "Is se khoon ke asar saaf kar lo."
Umm 'Aisha reported: A woman asked the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, about menstruation, how she should purify herself from it. The Prophet said, "Take a piece of cotton with musk and purify yourself with it." The woman said, "How should I purify myself with it?" The Prophet said, "Purify yourself with it." She said, "How should I purify myself with it?" The Prophet said, "Purify yourself with it." Aisha said, "I knew what he intended, so I brought her to me and taught her."
ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ ایک عورت نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے حیض کے بارے میں پوچھا کہ وہ اس سے کیسے پاک ہو؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ''ایک روئی کا ٹکڑا لے کر اس میں مشک لگا کر اس سے پاک ہو جاؤ۔ '' عورت نے کہا: ''میں اس سے کیسے پاک ہوں؟ '' آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ''اس سے پاک ہو جاؤ۔ '' اس نے کہا: ''میں اس سے کیسے پاک ہوں؟ '' آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ''اس سے پاک ہو جاؤ۔ '' حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے فرمایا: ''مجھے سمجھ آ گیا کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا کیا مطلب ہے تو میں نے اس عورت کو اپنے پاس بلایا اور اسے بتایا۔ ''
Um ul Momineen Ayesha Radi Allahu Anha se riwayat hai ki aik aurat ne Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam se haiz ke bare mein poocha ke woh is se kaise pak ho? Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: ''aik rooi ka tukda lekar is mein mushk laga kar is se pak ho jao. '' Aurat ne kaha: ''mein is se kaise pak hon? '' Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: ''is se pak ho jao. '' Us ne kaha: ''mein is se kaise pak hon? '' Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: ''is se pak ho jao.
