It was narrated from Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: “Before the Day of Resurrection, some liars will appear, so beware of them.”

حضرت جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ قیامت سے پہلے کچھ کذاب آکر رہیں گے تم ان سے بچنا۔
Hazrat Jabir bin Samrah RA se marvi hai ke maine Nabi SAW ko ye farmate huye suna hai ke qayamat se pehle kuch jhoothay aakar rahengay tum un se bachna.
Someone asked Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) about the white hair of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He replied that there were a few white hairs on the head of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). When he used to apply oil to his hair, the whiteness of the hair was not apparent.

حضرت جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے کسی نے نبی ﷺ کے سفید بالوں کے متعلق پوچھا تو انہوں نے فرمایا کہ نبی ﷺ کے سر میں چند بال سفید تھے جب آپ سر پر تیل لگاتے تو بالوں کی سفیدی واضح نہیں ہوتی تھی۔
Hazrat Jabir Raziallahu Anhu se kisi ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke safaid baalon ke mutalliq poocha to unhon ne farmaya ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sar mein chand baal safaid thay jab Aap sar par tel lagaate to baalon ki safedi wazeh nahin hoti thi.
It is narrated on the authority of Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) delivering the sermon while standing, then he would sit down for a while and not talk to anyone, then he would stand up and deliver the second sermon, so if anyone amongst you claims that he saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) delivering the sermon while sitting, then he is lying. By Allah, I have prayed two thousand prayers with him.

حضرت جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو کھڑے ہو کر خطبہ دیتے ہوئے دیکھا ہے پھر تھوڑی دیر بیٹھ جاتے کسی سے بات نہ کرتے پھر کھڑے ہو کر دوسرا خطبہ ارشاد فرماتے اس لئے اگر تم میں سے کوئی شخص یہ بیان کرتا ہے کہ اس نے نبی ﷺ کو بیٹھ کر خطبہ دیتے ہوئے دیکھا ہے وہ غلط بیانی کرتا ہے واللہ میں نے ان کے ساتھ دوہزار نمازیں پڑھی ہیں۔

It was narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), “Should I perform ablution anew after eating goat meat?” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “No.” He asked, “Can I pray after dealing with goats?” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Yes.” The man asked, “Should I perform ablution after eating camel meat?” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Yes.” He asked, “Can I pray in an enclosure where camels are kept?” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “No.”

حضرت جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک آدمی نے نبی ﷺ سے پوچھا کہ کیا میں بکری کا گوشت کھانے کے بعد نیا وضو کیا کروں نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ نہیں اس نے پوچھا کہ بکریوں کے بارے میں نماز پڑھ سکتا ہوں نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا ہاں سائل نے پوچھا کہ اونٹ کا گوشت کھانے کے بعد نیا وضو کروں نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا ہاں۔ اس نے پوچھا کہ اونٹوں کے باڑے میں نماز پڑھ سکتا ہوں نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ نہیں۔

It is narrated on the authority of Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), "Should I perform ablution after eating goat meat?" Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to his companions and said, "What is the matter that I see you divided into different groups?" The companions were sitting in the same way at that time. And once he entered the mosque and saw some people raising their hands, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "What is the matter with the people that they gesture with their hands like the tails of difficult horses? Remain calm in prayer."

حضرت جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ اپنے صحابہ کے پاس تشریف لائے تو فرمایا کہ کیا بات ہے کہ میں تمہیں مختلف ٹولیوں کی شکل میں بٹا ہوا دیکھ رہاہوں صحابہ کرام اس وقت اسی طرح بیٹھے ہوئے تھے۔ اور ایک مرتبہ مسجد میں داخل ہوئے اور کچھ لوگوں کو ہاتھ اٹھائے ہوئے دیکھا نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ لوگوں کا کیا مسئلہ ہے وہ اپنے ہاتھوں سے اس طرح اشارہ کرتے ہیں جیسے دشوار خو گھوڑوں کی دم ہو۔ نماز میں پرسکون رہا کرو۔

It is narrated on the authority of Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that before the Day of Judgment, some liars will appear, so beware of them.

It is narrated on the authority of Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to deliver two sermons on Friday. He would deliver the first sermon, then sit down, and then stand up and deliver the second sermon.

حضرت جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ جمعہ کے دن دو خطبے دیتے تھے پہلا خطبہ دیتے اور بیٹھ جاتے پھر کھڑے ہو کر دوسرا خطبہ دیتے تھے۔
Hazrat Jabir Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) juma ke din do khutbe dete thay pehla khutba dete aur baith jate phir kharay ho kar dusra khutba dete thay.

No opponent or deserter will be able to harm it until twelve Caliphs have passed away from my Ummah." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said something that I could not understand. I asked my father what the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had said. He replied that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had said, "All of them will be from Quraysh."
حضرت جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو حجۃ الوداع کے موقع پر یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ یہ دین ہمیشہ اپنے مخالفین پر غالب رہے گا اسے کوئی مخالفت کرنے والا یا مفارقت کرنے والا نقصان نہ پہنچاسکے گا یہاں تک کہ میری امت میں بارہ خلیفہ گزر جائیں گے پھر نبی ﷺ نے کچھ کہا جو میں سمجھ نہیں سکا میں نے اپنے والد سے پوچھا کہ نبی ﷺ نے کیا فرمایا ہے انہوں نے کہا کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا ہے وہ سب کے سب قریش سے ہونگے۔
Hazrat Jabir bin Samra Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai ke maine Nabi sallallaho alaihi wasallam ko Hajj tul Wida ke moqe per ye farmate huwe suna hai ke ye deen hamesha apne muqalifeen per ghalib rahe ga ise koi muqalifat karne wala ya mufarqat karne wala nuqsan na pohoncha sake ga yahan tak ke meri ummat mein barah khalifa guzar jayen ge phir Nabi sallallaho alaihi wasallam ne kuch kaha jo mein samajh nahi saka maine apne wald se poocha ke Nabi sallallaho alaihi wasallam ne kya farmaya hai unhon ne kaha ke Nabi sallallaho alaihi wasallam ne farmaya hai wo sab ke sab Quresh se honge.
It is narrated on the authority of Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to recite Surah Al-Waqi'ah in the Zuhr (afternoon) prayer and similar Surahs in the Asr (late afternoon) prayer. However, in the Fajr (dawn) prayer, he would recite longer Surahs than these.

حضرت جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ ظہر کی نماز میں سورت والیل کی تلاوت فرماتے تھے اور نماز عصر میں بھی اس جیسی سورتیں پڑھتے تھے البتہ فجر کی نماز میں اس سے لمبی سورتیں پڑھتے تھے۔
Hazrat Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Zuhar ki namaz mein Surah Al-Feel ki tilawat farmate thy aur namaz Asr mein bhi is jaisi surtein parhte thy albatta Fajar ki namaz mein is se lambi surtein parhte thy.
Narrated Jabir (RA): Once the Prophet (PBUH) entered the mosque and saw some people gesturing with their hands. The Prophet (PBUH) said, “What is wrong with the people that they point with their hands as if they are tails of stubborn horses? Observe calmness in prayer.”
Then once the Prophet (PBUH) came to us and said, “What is the matter with you that I see you sitting divided into different groups?” (The Companions were sitting that way at that time).
Then one day, the Prophet (PBUH) came out and said to us, “Why don't you straighten your rows as angels do in the presence of their Lord?” The Companions asked, “O Messenger of Allah! How do the angels stand in rows before their Lord?" The Prophet (PBUH) replied, “They perfect the front rows first and then they fill the gaps in the rows.”

حضرت جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ مسجد میں داخل ہوئے اور کچھ لوگوں کو ہاتھ اٹھائے ہوئے دیکھا نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ لوگوں کا کیا مسئلہ ہے وہ اپنے ہاتھوں سے اس طرح اشارہ کرتے ہیں جیسے دشوار خو گھوڑوں کی دم ہو۔ نماز میں پرسکون رہا کرو۔
پھر ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ ہمارے پاس تشریف لائے تو فرمایا کہ کیا بات ہے میں تمہیں مختلف ٹولیوں کی شکل میں بٹا ہوا دیکھ رہاہوں ہوں (صحابہ کرام اس وقت اسی طرح بیٹھے ہوئے تھے)
پھر ایک دن نبی ﷺ باہر تشریف لائے تو ہم سے فرمایا کہ تم اس طرح صف بندی کیوں نہیں کرتے جیسا کہ فرشتے اپنے رب کے سامنے صف بندی کرتے ہیں صحابہ نے پوچھا یا رسول اللہ فرشتے اپنے رب کے سامنے کس طرح صف بندی کرتے ہیں نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا پہلے اگلی صفوں کو مکمل کرتے ہیں اور صفوں کے خلا کو پر کرتے ہیں۔
Hazrat Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) masjid mein dakhil hue aur kuch logon ko hath uthaye hue dekha Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ke logon ka kya masla hai wo apne hathon se is tarah ishara karte hain jaise dushwar khu ghoron ki dum ho. Namaz mein pur sukoon raha karo.
Phir ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) humare pass tashreef laye to farmaya ke kya baat hai mein tumhein mukhtalif tolion ki shakal mein bata hua dekh raha hun (Sahaba kiram us waqt isi tarah baithe hue the)
Phir ek din Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) bahar tashreef laye to hum se farmaya ke tum is tarah saf bandi kyon nahin karte jaisa ke farishte apne Rab ke samne saf bandi karte hain Sahaba ne pucha ya Rasulullah farishte apne Rab ke samne kis tarah saf bandi karte hain Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya pehle agli saffon ko mukammal karte hain aur saffon ke khala ko pur karte hain.
It is narrated on the authority of Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Does not one of you fear, while raising his head during prayer, that his eyesight may not return to him (i.e., it may remain stuck upwards)?"

حضرت جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا کہ کیا تم میں سے کوئی شخص دوران نماز سر اٹھاتے ہوئے اس بات سے نہیں ڈرتا کہ اس کی نگاہ پلٹ کر اس کی طرف واپس نہ آئے۔ (اوپر ہی کی طرف اٹھی رہ جائے)

It is narrated on the authority of Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once, during a mention of Medina, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said that Allah has named Medina "Taybah" (which means pure or good).

Jabir ibn Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “To instill good manners in your children is better for you than giving half a Sa' of charity every day.”

جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ انسان اپنی اولاد کو اچھا ادب سکھلا دے یہ اس کے لئے روزانہ نصف صاع صدقہ کرنے سے زیادہ بہتر ہے۔
Jibir bin Samrah razi Allah anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki insan apni aulad ko achcha adab sikhla de ye uske liye rozana nisf saa sadqa karne se zyada behtar hai.
Samak says that I asked Jabir, may Allah be pleased with him, about the prayer of the Prophet, may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him. He said that the Prophet, may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him, used to recite Surah Qaf and similar surahs in the Fajr prayer.

Narrated Jabir RadiAllahu Anhu: We used to pray behind the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam and turn (our faces) to right and left sides (to say Salam) signaling with our hands. He Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, "What is the matter with the people that they signal with their hands as if they were the tails of unruly horses? Can't you sit at ease, place your hand on the thigh and make Salam (by turning the face) to your companion on the right and your companion on the left."

حضرت جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ہم لوگ نبی ﷺ کے پیچھے نماز پڑھتے تھے تو ہم لوگ دائیں بائیں جانب سلام پھیرتے ہوئے ہاتھ سے اشارہ کرتے تھے۔ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ لوگوں کا کیا مسئلہ ہیں کہ وہ اپنے ہاتھ سے اس طرح اشارہ کرتے ہیں جس طرح دشوار خو گھوڑوں کی دم ہو کیا تم سکون سے نہیں رہ سکتے کہ ران پر ہاتھ رکھ ہوئے ہی اشارہ کرلو۔ دائیں بائیں جانب اپنے ساتھی کو سلام کرلو۔
Hazrat Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki hum log Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke peeche namaz parhte thay to hum log dayen baen janib salam pherte hue hath se ishara karte thay. Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki logon ka kya masla hai ki wo apne hath se is tarah ishara karte hain jis tarah dushwar khu ghoron ki dum ho. kya tum sukoon se nahi reh sakte ki ran par hath rakh hue hi ishara karlo. Dayen baen janib apne sathi ko salam karlo.
It is narrated on the authority of Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to deliver two sermons on Friday. He would deliver the first sermon, then sit down, and then stand up and deliver the second sermon. The sermons and prayers of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) were moderate in length, and he would recite verses from the Quran on the pulpit.

حضرت جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ جمعہ کے دن دو خطبے دیتے تھے پہلے ایک خطبہ دیتے اور بیٹھ جاتے اور پھر کھڑے ہو کر دوسرا خطبہ دیتے نبی ﷺ کا خطبہ اور نماز معتدل ہوتے تھے اور وہ منبر پر قرآن کی آیات تلاوت کرتے تھے۔
Hazrat Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Juma ke din do khutbe dete thay pehle ek khutba dete aur baith jate aur phir kharay ho kar dusra khutba dete Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ka khutba aur namaz motadil hote thay aur wo mimbar par Quran ki ayat tilawat karte thay.
It is narrated on the authority of Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) commanded us to perform ablution after eating camel meat, but not to perform ablution after eating goat meat. We may pray in a flock of goats, but not in a camel pen.

حضرت جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ہمیں حکم دیا ہے کہ اونٹ کا گوشت کھا کر وضو کریں بکری کا گوشت کھا کر وضو نہ کریں بکریوں کے ریوڑ میں نماز پڑھ لیں اور اونٹوں کے باڑے میں نماز نہ پڑھیں۔
Hazrat Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne hamen hukum diya hai ki unt ka gosht kha kar wuzu karen bakri ka gosht kha kar wuzu na karen bakriyon ke rewar mein namaz parh len aur unton ke baray mein namaz na parhen.
It is narrated by Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I entered upon the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and saw that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was reclining against a pillow.

حضرت جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نبی ﷺ کے ہاں داخل ہوا تو دیکھا کہ نبی ﷺ نے تکیہ سے ٹیک لگا رکھی ہے۔
Hazrat Jabir Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki mein Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke han dakhil hua to dekha ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne takiya se teek laga rakhi hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) led the funeral prayer of Abu Dahdah. Then a horse was brought and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) mounted it. We started walking around the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

حضرت جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے حضرت ابودحداح کی نماز جنازہ پڑھائی پھر ایک گھوڑا لایا گیا نبی ﷺ اس پر سوا ہوگئے اور ہم نبی ﷺ کے گرد چلنے لگے۔
Hazrat Jabir bin Samrah RA se marvi hai ki Nabi SAW ne Hazrat Abu Dahda ki namaz janaza parhayi phir ek ghora laya gaya Nabi SAW is par sawar hogaye aur hum Nabi SAW ke gird chalne lage.
It is narrated by Jabir (RA) that, during the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), it was reported that a man had committed suicide. Upon hearing this, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not offer his funeral prayer.

حضرت جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کے دور باسعادت میں پتا چلا کہ ایک آدمی نے خود کشی کرلی یہ سن کر نبی ﷺ نے اس کی نماز جنازہ نہ پڑھائی۔
Hazrat Jaber Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke dor basadat mein pata chala ki ek aadmi ne khudkushi karli ye sun kar Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne us ki namaz janaza na parhayi.
It has been narrated on the authority of Hadrat Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I saw the Seal of Prophethood on the blessed back of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). It was the size of a pigeon's egg and its color was the same as the color of the body of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

حضرت جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کی پشت مبارک پر مہر نبوت دیکھی ہے وہ کبوتری کے انڈے جتنی ہے اور اس کا رنگ نبی ﷺ کے جسم کے ہم رنگ تھا۔
Hazrat Jabir bin Samra RA se marvi hai keh maine Nabi SAW ki pusht mubarak par mohar e nabuwat dekhi hai woh kabotri ke anday jitni hai aur iska rang Nabi SAW ke jism ke hum rang tha.
It is narrated on the authority of Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that Ma'az bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) presented himself before the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and confessed to fornication. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) turned his face away. He came several times and kept confessing, so the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered him to be stoned. The people stoned him and came to inform the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood up to deliver the sermon. After praising and glorifying Allah, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Whenever any group of ours goes out for Jihad in the way of Allah, the voice of the one who stays behind from them becomes like the voice of a goat that gives a little milk. By Allah, I will certainly punish any of them over whom I have the power."

حضرت جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں حضرت ماعز بن مالک حاضر ہوئے اور اپنے متعلق بدکاری کا اعتراف کیا نبی ﷺ نے رخ انور پھیرلیا وہ کئی مرتبہ آیا اور اعتراف کرتا رہا چنانچہ نبی ﷺ نے اسے رجم کرنے کا حکم دیا لوگوں نے انہیں رجم کردیا اور نبی ﷺ کو آکر اس کی اطلاع کردی پھر نبی ﷺ خطبہ دینے کے لیے کھڑے ہوئے اللہ کی حمدوثناء کے بعد نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ ہماری کوئی جماعت جب بھی اللہ کے راستے میں جہاد کے لئے نکلتی ہے تو ان میں سے جو شخص پیچھے رہ جاتا ہے اس کی آواز بکرے جیسی ہوجاتی ہے جو کسی کو تھوڑا سا دودھ دیدے واللہ مجھے ان میں سے جس پر بھی قدرت ملی اسے سزا ضرور دوں گا۔
Hazrat Jaber Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein Hazrat Maaz bin Malik hazir hue aur apne mutalliq badkari ka ikraar kiya Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne rukh anwar pher liya woh kai martaba aaya aur ikraar karta raha chunancha Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne usey rajam karne ka hukum diya logon ne unhen rajam kardiya aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko aakar is ki ittila kardi phir Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) khutba dene ke liye khare hue Allah ki hamd o sana ke baad Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki hamari koi jamaat jab bhi Allah ke raste mein jihad ke liye nikalti hai to un mein se jo shakhs peeche reh jata hai us ki awaz bakre jaisi hojaati hai jo kisi ko thora sa doodh dede Wallahu mujhe un mein se jis par bhi qudrat mili usey saza zaroor dunga.
Narrated Jabir Radi Allahu Anhu: A man asked the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam, 'Should I perform ablution after I eat the meat of a goat?' The Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) replied, 'If you wish.' The narrator said the complete Hadith... Abdullah said, I heard Hajjaj bin Sha'ir asking my father: 'Who amongst Umar Naqid and Muayti is more beloved to you?' He said: 'Umar Naqid, because he strives to speak the truth.'

حضرت جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک آدمی نے نبی ﷺ سے پوچھا کیا میں بکری کا گوشت کھانے کے بعد نیا وضو کروں نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ اگر تم چاہو پھر راوی نے پوری حدیث ذکر کی۔ عبداللہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے حجاج بن شاعر کو اپنے والد سے یہ سوال کرتے ہوئے سنا کہ آپ کے نزدیک عمر ناقد اور معیطی میں سے زیادہ پسندیدہ کون ہے انہوں نے فرمایا کہ عمر ناقد سچ بولنے کی کوشش تلاش کرتا ہے۔
Hazrat Jabir razi Allah anhu se marvi hai keh aik aadmi ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se poocha kya main bakri ka gosht khane ke baad naya wuzu karun Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya keh agar tum chaho phir ravi ne puri hadees zikar ki Abdullah kehte hain keh maine Hajjaj bin Shaer ko apne walid se yeh sawal karte hue suna keh aap ke nazdeek Umar Naqid aur Maitai mein se zyada pasandida kon hai unhon ne farmaya keh Umar Naqid sach bolne ki koshish talash karta hai
It was narrated from Jabir bin Samurah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “There is between me and the Hour but this,” and he pointed with his index finger and the one next to it.

حضرت جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا کہ مجھے اور قیامت کو اس طرح بھیجا گیا ہے (راوی نے شہادت اور انگلی کی طرف اشارہ کرکے دکھایا)۔
Hazrat Jabir bin Samrah RA se marvi hai ki Nabi SAW ne irshad farmaya ki mujhe aur qayamat ko is tarah bheja gaya hai (rawi ne shahadat aur ungli ki taraf ishara karke dikhaya).
It is narrated on the authority of Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to recite Surah "Was-samaa'i Zaat-ul-Buruj" and Surah "Was-samaa'i wat-tariq" and similar Surahs in the Zuhr and Asr prayers.

Hazrat Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Zuhar aur Asr ki namaz mein Wassamaa Zaatul Buruj aur Wassamaa Wattariq aur is jaisi suraton ki tilawat karte thay.
It was narrated from Jabir bin Samurah that Ma'iz bin Malik, who was a short man, was brought to the Prophet (ﷺ) wearing only a lower garment and nothing else. The Prophet (ﷺ) was reclining on a pillow, leaning on his left side. The Prophet (ﷺ) spoke to him some words, which I do not know, because there were people between me and the Prophet (ﷺ). A little while later, the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Take him away." After a while, he said: "Bring him back to me." This time, I heard what the Prophet (ﷺ) said to him. Then the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Take him away and stone him." Then the Prophet (ﷺ) stood up to deliver a sermon. I heard him say: "When any of our armies go out for Jihad in the cause of Allah, whoever stays behind from them will have a voice like the bleating of a sheep; and whoever gives anyone even a little milk, by Allah, I will punish whoever has the power to do so."

حضرت جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں حضرت ماعز بن مالک جو پستہ قدآدمی تھے کو ایک تہبند میں پیش کیا گیا ان کے جسم پر تہبند کے علاوہ کوئی چادر نہ تھی نبی ﷺ ایک تکیہ پر بائیں جانب ٹیک لگائے بیٹھے تھے نبی ﷺ نے ان سے کچھ باتیں جن کے متعلق مجھے کچھ معلوم نہیں کہ وہ کیا باتیں تھیں کیونکہ میرے اور نبی ﷺ کے درمیان قوم حائل تھی تھوڑی دیر بعد نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ اسے لے جاؤ کچھ وقفے کے بعد فرمایا کہ اسے واپس لے آؤ اس وقت جو نبی ﷺ نے ان سے باتیں کہی وہ میں نے سنی پھر نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ اسے لے جاؤ اسے رجم کردو۔ پھر نبی ﷺ خطبہ دینے کے لئے کھڑے ہوئے میں نے وہ بھی سنا ہماری کوئی بھی جماعت اللہ کے راستے میں جہاد کے لئے نکلتی ہے تو ان میں سے جو شخص پیچھے رہ جاتا ہے اس کی آواز بکرے جیسی ہوتی ہے اور جو کسی کو تھوڑا سا دودھ دے دے واللہ اس پر جس کو بھی قدرت ملی اسے سزا ضرور دوں گا۔
Hazrat Jabir bin Samrah Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai ki Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ki khidmat mein Hazrat Maaz bin Malik jo pasta qad aadmi thay ko aik tahband mein pesh kiya gaya un ke jism par tahband ke ilawa koi chadar na thi Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam aik takiya par baen janib teek lagaye baithe thay Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne unse kuch baaten jin ke mutalliq mujhe kuch maloom nahi ki wo kya baaten thin kyunki mere aur Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ke darmiyan qoum hail thi thori dair baad Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya ki isay le jao kuch waqfe ke baad farmaya ki isay wapis le aao us waqt jo Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne unse baaten kahin wo maine suni phir Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya ki isay le jao isay rajm karo phir Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam khutba dene ke liye kharay huye maine wo bhi suna hamari koi bhi jamat Allah ke raaste mein jihad ke liye nikalti hai to un mein se jo shakhs peeche reh jata hai us ki aawaz bakre jaisi hoti hai aur jo kisi ko thora sa doodh de de Wallahu us par jis ko bhi qudrat mili usay saza zaroor dunga.
Jabir ibn Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "This religion (Islam) will continue to remain until the Day of Judgment; a group among my Ummah (nation) will always strive hard for its sake (fight for its cause)."

حضرت جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ یہ دین ہمیشہ قائم رہے گا ایک جماعت اس کے لئے قتال کرتی رہے گی یہاں تک کہ قیامت آجائے گی۔
Hazrat Jabir bin Samrah RA se marvi hai keh Nabi SAW ne farmaya keh yeh deen hamesha qaim rahe ga aik jamat is ke liye qital karti rahe gi yahan tak keh qayamat aajaye gi.
It is narrated on the authority of Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the whites of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had a reddish tinge, his mouth was wide, and his shanks were lean.

حضرت جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کی آنکھوں کی سفیدی میں سرخ دوڑے تھے اور دہن مبارک کشادہ تھا اور مبارک پنڈلیوں پر گوشت کم تھا۔
Hazrat Jaber Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki aankhon ki safedi mein surkh dorey thay aur dahan mubarak kushada tha aur mubarak pindliyon par gosht kam tha.
It was narrated from Jabir bin Samurah that he said: I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying: "A group of Muslims will come forth and bring out the white treasure of Chosroes and his family."

حضرت جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے مسلمانوں کی ایک جماعت نکلے گی وہ کسری اور آل کسری کا سفید خزانہ نکال لے گی۔
Hazrat Jabir bin Samrah raziallahu anhu se marvi hai keh maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate hue suna hai Musalmanon ki aik jamaat niklegi woh Kisra aur Aal e Kisra ka safaid khazanah nikal legi.
Someone asked Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) about the white hair of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He said that there were a few white hairs in the hair of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). When he used to apply oil to his hair, the whiteness of the hair would not be visible.

حضرت جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے کسی نے نبی ﷺ کے سفید بالوں کے متعلق پوچھا تو انہوں نے فرمایا کہ نبی ﷺ کے سر میں چند بال سفید تھے جب آپ سر پر تیل لگاتے تو بالوں کی سفیدی واضح نہیں ہوتی تھی۔
Hazrat Jaber razi Allah anhu se kisi ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke safaid baalon ke mutaliq poocha to unhon ne farmaya ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sar mein chand baal safaid thay jab aap sar par tel lagaatay to baalon ki sufaidi wazeh nahi hoti thi.
It is narrated on the authority of Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to lead short prayers and in the Fajr prayer, he would recite Surah Qaf and similar Surahs.

It is narrated by Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that whenever food was presented to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would take some of it and send the rest to Abu Ayyub Ansari. Once, food was brought to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) from somewhere, which contained garlic. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sent it all to Abu Ayyub and did not take any of it himself. When Abu Ayyub did not notice the effect of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) having taken some of it, he took the food and went to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). And asked him (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about it. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "I left it because of the smell of garlic." Abu Ayyub, hearing this, said, "Then why did you send to me what you yourself do not eat?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Because an angel comes to me."

حضرت جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں جب کھانے کی کوئی چیز ہدیہ کی جاتی تو نبی ﷺ اس میں سے کچھ لے کر باقی سارا حضرت ابوایوب انصاری کے پاس بھیج دیتے۔ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں کہیں سے کھانا آیا جس میں لہسن تھا نبی ﷺ نے وہ اس طرح حضرت ابوایوب کو بھجوا دیا اور خود اس میں سے کچھ بھی نہیں لیا جب حضرت ابوایوب نے اس میں نبی ﷺ کے کچھ لینے کا اثر محسوس نہیں کیا تو کھانا لے کر نبی ﷺ کے پاس آگئے۔ اور اس حوالے سے نبی ﷺ سے پوچھا تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ میں نے اسے لہسن کی بدبو کی وجہ سے چھوڑ دیا تھا حضرت ابوایوب نے یہ سن کر عرض کیا کہ پھر جس چیز کو آپ تناول نہیں فرماتے اسے میرے پاس کیوں بھیج دیا نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ کیونکہ میرے پاس فرشتہ آتا تھا۔

Ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein kahin se khana aya jis mein lahsun tha Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne woh is tarah Hazrat Abu Ayyub ko bhej diya aur khud us mein se kuch bhi nahi liya jab Hazrat Abu Ayyub ne us mein Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke kuch lenay ka asar mehsoos nahi kiya to khana lekar Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke pas agaye. Aur is hawale se Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se poocha to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki maine use lahsun ki badbu ki wajah se chhor diya tha Hazrat Abu Ayyub ne yeh sunkar arz kiya ki phir jis cheez ko aap tanawul nahi farmate use mere pas kyun bhej diya Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki kyunki mere pas farishta ata tha.
Ali ibn al-Madini said: Sufyan ibn `Uyaynah said to me: “Do you have the previous hadith with a more authentic chain of narration?” I asked him about the hadith, so he mentioned the previous hadith with his chain of narration. I replied in affirmation and mentioned my chain of narration, so he remained silent.

علی بن مدینی کہتے ہیں کہ مجھ سے سفیان بن عیینہ نے کہا کہ گزشتہ حدیث آپ کے پاس اس سے زیادہ عمدہ سند سے موجود تھی؟ میں نے ان سے حدیث پوچھی تو انہوں نے اپنی سند کے ساتھ گزشتہ حدیث ذکر کی میں نے اثبات میں جواب دیا اور اپنی سند ذکر کی تو وہ خاموش ہو گئے۔
Ali bin Madini kehte hain ki mujh se Sufyan bin Uyainah ne kaha ki guzishta hadees aap ke paas is se ziada umdah sanad se mojood thi? Main ne un se hadees poochhi to unhon ne apni sanad ke sath guzishta hadees zikar ki main ne isbat mein jawab diya aur apni sanad zikar ki to woh khamosh ho gaye.
Someone asked Hadhrat Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) about the white hairs of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He replied that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had a few white hairs on his head. When he used to apply oil to his head, the whiteness of the hair was not apparent.

حضرت جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے کسی نے نبی ﷺ کے سفید بالوں کے متعلق پوچھا تو انہوں نے فرمایا کہ نبی ﷺ کے سر میں چند سفید بال تھے جب آپ سر پر تیل لگاتے تو بالوں کی سفیدی واضح نہیں ہوتی تھی۔
Hazrat Jaber razi Allah anhu se kisi ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke safaid balon ke mutaliq poocha to unhon ne farmaya ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sar mein chand safaid bal the jab aap sar par tel lagaate to balon ki safedi wazeh nahi hoti thi.
It is narrated on the authority of Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man lived with his father in Harrah. Someone said to him, "My she-camel has run away. If you find her, please catch her." Coincidentally, he found the she-camel, but her owner did not return. The she-camel became ill to the point that his wife said to him, "Slaughter her so we can eat her." But he did not do so, and eventually, the she-camel died. His wife then said, "Skin her so we can at least render the fat from her." He said, "I will first ask the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)." He asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked him, "Do you have enough to make you independent of this she-camel?" He said, "No." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Then go and eat it." After some time, the owner of the she-camel arrived and, upon hearing the whole story, said, "Why didn't you slaughter her?" He replied, "I felt ashamed before you."

حضرت جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک آدمی اپنے والد کے ساتھ حرہ میں رہتا تھا اس سے کسی نے کہا کہ میری اونٹنی بھاگ گئی ہے اگر تمہیں ملے تو اسے پکڑ لاؤ اتفاق سے اس آدمی کو وہ مل گئی لیکن اس کا مالک واپس نہ آیا یہاں تک کہ وہ بیمار ہوگئی اس کی بیوی نے اس سے کہا کہ اسے ذبح کرلو تاکہ ہم اسے کھا سکیں لیکن اس نے ایسا نہیں کیا حتی کہ وہ اونٹنی مرگئی اس کی بیوی نے پھر کہا کہ اس کی کھال کو اتار دو تاکہ اب تو اس کے گوشت کو چربی کے ٹکرے کرلے اس نے کہا کہ میں پہلے نبی ﷺ سے پوچھوں گا اس نے نبی ﷺ سے پوچھا تو نبی ﷺ نے اس سے دریافت فرمایا کہ کیا تمہارے پاس اتنا ہے کہ تمہیں اس اونٹنی سے مستغنی کردے اس نے کہا نہیں نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ تم جا کر اسے کھالو کچھ عرصہ بعد اس کا مالک بھی آگیا اور سارا واقعہ سن کر اس نے کہا تم نے اسے ذبح کیوں نہ کرلیا اس نے جواب دیا مجھے تم سے حیاء آئی۔
Hazrat Jabir bin Samrah RA se marvi hai ki aik aadmi apne walid ke sath Hurra mein rehta tha us se kisi ne kaha ki meri untni bhaag gayi hai agar tumhein mile to use pakar lao ittefaq se us aadmi ko woh mil gayi lekin us ka malik wapas na aaya yahan tak ki woh bimar hogayi us ki biwi ne us se kaha ki use zubah karlo taaki hum use kha saken lekin us ne aisa nahi kiya hatta ki woh untni margayi us ki biwi ne phir kaha ki us ki khaal ko utar do taaki ab to us ke gosht ko charbi ke tukre karle us ne kaha ki mein pehle Nabi SAW se poochon ga us ne Nabi SAW se poocha to Nabi SAW ne us se دریافت فرمایا ki kya tumhare pass itna hai ki tumhein us untni se mustaghni karde us ne kaha nahi Nabi SAW ne farmaya ki tum ja kar use kha lo kuch arsa baad us ka malik bhi aagaya aur sara waqea sun kar us ne kaha tum ne use zubah kyun na karli us ne jawab diya mujhe tum se haya aayi.
It is narrated on the authority of Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) implemented the punishment of stoning to death on a Jewish man and woman.

حضرت جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ایک یہودی مرد اور عورت پر رجم کی سزاجاری فرمائی۔
Hazrat Jabir Radi Allaho Anho Se Marvi Hai Ke Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam Ne Ek Yahodi Mard Aur Aurat Par Rajm Ki Saza Jari Farmayi.
It is narrated on the authority of Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to offer the same prayers that you offer today, but he used to shorten the prayer and his prayer was lighter than your prayer, and in the Fajr prayer, he used to recite Surah Al-Waqi'ah and similar Surahs.

حضرت جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ بھی یہی نمازیں پڑھایا کرتے تھے جو آج تم پڑھتے ہو لیکن وہ نماز میں تخفیف فرماتے تھے اور ان کی نماز تمہاری نماز سے ہلکی ہوتی تھی اور نماز فجر میں سورة واقعہ اور اس جیسی سورتیں پڑھتے تھے۔

It was narrated from Jabir bin 'Abdullah that he heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying: "A group of Muslims will come forth and take away the white treasure of Chosroes."

حضرت جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ مسلمانوں کی ایک جماعت نکلے گی اور وہ کسری اور آل کسری کا سفید خزانہ نکال لیں گے۔
Hazrat Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai keh maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate hue suna hai keh Musalmanon ki aik jamaat niklegi aur wo Kisra aur Aal e Kisra ka safeed khazana nikal lenge.
It is narrated on the authority of Hadrat Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the mu'azzin (call to prayer) of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would give the 'adhan (call to prayer), he would pause for a while and would not say the 'iqamah (second call to prayer) until he saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) come out. When he would see that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had come out, then he would start the 'iqamah.

حضرت جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کا مؤذن جب اذان دیتا تو کچھ دیر رک جاتا اور اس وقت تک اقامت نہ کہتا جب تک نبی ﷺ کو باہر نکلتے ہوئے نہ دیکھ لیتا جب وہ دیکھتا کہ نبی ﷺ باہر نکل آئے ہیں تو وہ اقامت شروع کردیتا۔
Hazrat Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ka muazzin jab azan deta to kuch dair ruk jata aur us waqt tak iqamat na kehta jab tak Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko bahar nikalte hue na dekh leta jab wo dekhta ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) bahar nikal aaye hain to wo iqamat shuru karta.
It is narrated on the authority of Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that there were a few white hairs in the front part of the head of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). When he would apply oil to his head, the whiteness of the hair would not be apparent. And when he would not apply oil, their whiteness would become apparent. And the hair of the head and beard of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was thick. Someone asked, "Was his face shiny like a sword?" He said, "No, rather it was bright like the moon and the sun, and it was round. And I saw the seal of Prophethood on his blessed back. It was the size of a pigeon's egg and resembled his body."

حضرت جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کے سر کے اگلے حصے میں چند بال سفید تھے جب آپ سر پر تیل لگاتے تو بالوں کی سفیدی واضح نہیں ہوتی تھی اور جب تیل نہ لگاتے تو ان کی سفیدی واضح ہوجاتی تھی اور نبی ﷺ کے سر اور داڑھی کے بال گھنے تھے کسی نے پوچھا کہ ان کا چہرہ تلوار کی طرح چمکدار تھا؟ انہوں نے فرمایا نہیں بلکہ چاند سورج کی طرح چمکدار تھا اور گولائی میں تھا اور میں نے نبی ﷺ کی پشت مبارک پر مہر نبوت دیکھی تھی وہ کبوتری کے انڈے جتنی تھی اور ان کے جسم کے مشابہہ تھی۔
Hazrat Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sar ke agle hisse mein chand baal safaid the jab aap sar par tel lagaate to baalon ki safedi wazeh nahi hoti thi aur jab tel na lagaate to un ki safedi wazeh hojati thi aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sar aur darhi ke baal ghane the kisi ne poocha ki un ka chehra talwar ki tarah chamkdar tha? Unhon ne farmaya nahi balki chand suraj ki tarah chamkdar tha aur golaai mein tha aur maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki pusht mubarak par mohar nabuwat dekhi thi woh kabutari ke ande jitni thi aur un ke jism ke mushabeha thi.
Narrated Jabir bin Abdullah: Once, the Prophet (ﷺ) was leading us in Fajr prayer when, during the prayer, he appeared to try to grab something with his hand. After finishing the prayer, the people asked him about it, and he said, "Satan came to me with a flame of fire to spoil my prayer, and I was trying to grab him. If I had caught him, he would not have been able to free himself from me until he was tied to one of the pillars of the mosque, and the children of Medina would have seen him.”

حضرت جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ ہمیں فجر کی نماز پڑھا رہے تھے کہ دوران نماز اپنے ہاتھ سے کسی چیز کو پکڑنے کی کوشش کرتے ہوئے دکھائی دیئے نماز سے فارغ ہو کر لوگوں نے اس کے متعلق پوچھا تو فرمایا کہ شیطان میرے سامنے آگ کے شعلے لے کر آتا تھا تاکہ میری نماز خراب کردے میں اسے پکڑ رہا تھا اگر میں اسے پکڑ لیتا تو وہ مجھ سے اپنے آپ کو چھڑا نہیں سکتا تھا یہاں تک کہ اسے مسجد کے کسی ستون کے ساتھ باندھ دیا جاتا اور اہل مدینہ کے بچے اسے دیکھتے۔
Hazrat Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai keh aik martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) humein fajar ki namaz parha rahay thay keh dauran namaz apne hath se kisi cheez ko pakarne ki koshish karte hue dikhayi diye namaz se farigh ho kar logon ne uske mutaliq poocha to farmaya keh shetan mere samne aag ke shole le kar aata tha takay meri namaz kharab karde mein use pakad raha tha agar mein use pakad leta to wo mujh se apne aap ko chhura nahi sakta tha yahan tak keh use masjid ke kisi satoon ke sath bandh diya jata aur ahle Madina ke bache usey dekhte.
