It is narrated on the authority of Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that he recited the Holy Quran with the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and performed eleven prostrations (sajda) during the recitation, including the prostration in Surah An-Najm.

حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ انہوں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کے ساتھ قرآن کریم میں گیارہ سجدے کئے ہیں جن میں سورت نجم کی آیت سجدہ بھی شامل ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Darda (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki unhon ne Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath Quran Kareem mein gyarah sajday kiye hain jin mein Surah Najm ki ayat Sajda bhi shamil hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: On the Day of Resurrection, you will be called by your names and the names of your fathers, so keep good names.

حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا قیامت کے دن تم لوگ اپنے اور اپنے باپ کے نام سے پکارے جاؤ گے لہٰذا اچھے نام رکھا کرو۔
Hazrat Abu Darda (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya qayamat ke din tum log apne aur apne baap ke naam se pukare jaoge lihaza achhe naam rakha karo.
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Love of something makes you blind and deaf.

حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا کسی چیز کی محبت تمہیں اندھا بہرا کردیتی ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Darda Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya kisi cheez ki mohabbat tumhein andha behra kar deti hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "A sign of a person's intelligence is that he observes moderation in his financial affairs."

حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا انسان کی سمجھداری کی علامت یہ ہے کہ وہ اپنے معاشی معاملات میں میانہ روی سے چلے۔
Hazrat Abu Darda (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya insan ki samajhdari ki alamat ye hai ki woh apne muashi mamlat mein myana ravi se chale.
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that once we were on a journey with the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and due to the intense heat, we were placing our hands on our heads. On that occasion, except for the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and Abdullah bin Rawaaha (may Allah be pleased with him), none of us were fasting.

حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ ہم لوگ نبی کریم ﷺ کے ہمراہ کسی سفر میں تھے اور گرمی کی شدت سے اپنے سر پر اپنا ہاتھ رکھتے جاتے تھے اور اس موقع پر نبی کریم ﷺ اور حضرت عبداللہ بن رواحہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے علاوہ ہم میں سے کسی کا روزہ نہ تھا۔
Hazrat Abudarda (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki aik martaba hum log Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke hamrah kisi safar mein thy aur garmi ki shiddat se apne sar per apna hath rakhte jate thy aur iss mauqe per Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) aur Hazrat Abdullah bin Rawah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke ilawa hum mein se kisi ka roza na tha.
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man entered the mosque of Damascus and prayed, "O Allah! Grant me a companion in my solitude, have mercy on my strangeness and grant me a good friend." Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) heard his prayer and said, "If you are making this prayer with a sincere heart, then I am more deserving of this prayer than you. I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) explain this verse of the Holy Quran, 'Whoever oppresses himself...' He said that the oppressor will be held accountable for his deeds according to his status and it will be a source of grief. Then there will be those of moderate ranks, they will be judged easily. 'And among them are those who excel in good deeds by the permission of Allah.' These are the people who will enter Paradise without any reckoning."

حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک آدمی مسجد دمشق میں داخل ہوا اور یہ دعا کی کہ اے اللہ! مجھے تنہائی میں کوئی مونس عطاء فرما میری اجنبیت پر ترس کھا اور مجھے اچھا رفیق عطاء فرما، حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ نے اس کی یہ دعاء سن لی اور فرمایا کہ تم یہ دعاء صدق دل سے کر رہے ہو تو اس دعاء کا میں تم سے زیادہ سعادت یافتہ ہوں، میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو قرآن کریم کی اس آیت " فمن ہم ظالم لنفسہ " کی تفسیر میں یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ ظالم سے اس کے اعمال کا حساب کتاب اسی کے مقام پر لیا جائے گا اور یہی غم اندوہ ہوگا منہم مقتصد یعنی کچھ لوگ درمیانے درجے کے ہوں گے، ان کا آسان حساب لیا جائے گا " ومنہم سابق بالخیرات باذن اللہ " یہ وہ لوگ ہوں گے جو جنت میں بلا حساب کتاب داخل ہوجائیں گے۔
Hazrat Abu Darda (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki aik aadmi masjid Dimashq mein dakhil hua aur ye dua ki ke aye Allah! mujhe tanhai mein koi munis ata farma meri ajnabiyat per taras kha aur mujhe achha rafiq ata farma, Hazrat Abu Darda (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne uski ye dua sun li aur farmaya ke tum ye dua sadq dil se kar rahe ho to is dua ka mein tumse zyada saadat yafta hun, mein ne Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko Quran Kareem ki is ayat "Faman Hum Zaalim Lil Nafsihi" ki tafseer mein ye farmate hue suna hai ke zaalim se uske aamal ka hisab kitab usi ke maqam per liya jayega aur yehi gham o andoh hoga minhum muqtasid yani kuch log darmiyane darje ke honge, unka aasan hisab liya jayega "Wa Minhum Saabiq Bil Khairat Bi iznillah" ye wo log honge jo jannat mein bila hisab kitab dakhil hojayenge.
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that once we were on a journey with the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in extreme heat. The heat was so intense that we were placing our hands on our heads. On that occasion, except for the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and Abdullah bin Rawaaha (may Allah be pleased with him), none of us were fasting.

حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ ہم لوگ نبی کریم ﷺ کے ہمراہ شدید گرمی کے سفر میں تھے اور گرمی کی شدت سے اپنے سر پر اپنا ہاتھ رکھتے جاتے تھے اور اس موقع پر نبی کریم ﷺ اور حضرت عبداللہ بن رواحہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے علاوہ ہم میں سے کسی کا روزہ نہ تھا۔

It is narrated on the authority of Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that a person asked the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "What is the ruling on taking gifts and grants from kings?" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Take whatever Allah grants you without asking for it or desiring it, and acquire reward through it."

حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ کسی شخص نے نبی کریم ﷺ سے پوچھا کہ بادشاہ کی عطاء و بخشش لینے کا کیا حکم ہے؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا بن مانگے اور بن خواہش اللہ تعالیٰ تمہیں جو کچھ عطاء فرما دے اسے لے لیا کرو اور اس سے تم مول حاصل کیا کرو؟
Hazrat Abu Darda RA se marvi hai ki kisi shakhs ne Nabi Kareem SAW se poocha ki badshah ki ataa o bakhshish lene ka kya hukum hai? Nabi Kareem SAW ne farmaya bin maange aur bin khwahish Allah Ta'ala tumhen jo kuch ataa farma de use le liya karo aur us se tum maal hasil kya karo?
Umm Darda reported: Once Abu Darda came to her in a state of great anger. She asked him the reason, and he said, "By Allah! I do not see any teaching of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, remaining among the people except that they gather together to pray."

حضرت ام درداء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ ان کے پاس آئے تو نہایت غصے کی حالت میں تھے انہوں نے وجہ پوچھی تو فرمانے لگے کہ بخدا! میں لوگوں میں نبی کریم ﷺ کی کوئی تعلیم نہیں دیکھ رہا، اب تو صرف اتنی بات رہ گئی ہے کہ وہ اکٹھے ہو کر نماز پڑھ لیتے ہیں۔
Hazrat Umm Dardaa RA se marvi hai ke ek martaba Hazrat Abu Dardaa RA un ke paas aaye to nihayat ghusse ki halat mein the unhon ne waja poochhi to farmane lage ke Khuda! mein logon mein Nabi Kareem SAW ki koi taleem nahin dekh raha, ab to sirf itni baat reh gayi hai ke woh ikathe ho kar namaz parh lete hain.
It is narrated by Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) vomited, due to which the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) broke his fast. The narrator says that once I met Thauban (may Allah be pleased with him) in Masjid Nabawi, so I asked him about it too, so he said that I was pouring water for the ablution of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ کو قے آگئی جس سے نبی کریم ﷺ نے اپنا روزہ ختم کردیا راوی کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ مسجد نبوی میں حضرت ثوبان رضی اللہ عنہ سے میری ملاقات ہوگئی تو میں نے ان سے بھی اس کے متعلق پوچھا تو انہوں نے فرمایا کہ میں نبی کریم ﷺ کے لئے وضو کا پانی ڈال رہا تھا۔
Hazrat Abu Darda Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai ki aik martaba Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ko qay aa gayi jis se Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne apna roza khatam kar diya Ravi kehte hain ki aik martaba Masjid Nabvi mein Hazrat Soban Radi Allaho Anho se meri mulaqat ho gayi to maine un se bhi is ke mutalliq poocha to unhon ne farmaya ki main Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ke liye wuzu ka pani daal raha tha.
Narrated by Abu Darda, may Allah be pleased with him, that once the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said, "Shall I not tell you of the best of your deeds in the sight of your Lord, which raises you highest in rank, is better for you than spending gold and silver, and better for you than meeting your enemy in the battlefield and striking their necks and having them strike yours?" The Companions, may Allah be pleased with them, asked, "O Messenger of Allah! What is that deed?" The Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said, "The remembrance of Allah."

حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا کیا میں تمہیں تمہارے مالک کی نگاہوں میں سب سے بہتر عمل " جو درجات میں سب سے زیادہ بلندی کا سبب ہو تمہارے لئے سونے چاندی خرچ کرنے سے بہتر ہو اور اس سے بہتر ہو کہ میدان جنگ میں دشمن سے تمہارا آمنا سامنا ہو اور تم ان کی گردنیں اڑاؤ اور وہ تمہاری گردنیں اڑائیں " نہ بتادو؟ صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہم نے پوچھا یا رسول اللہ! وہ کون سا عمل ہے؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اللہ تعالیٰ کا ذکر۔
Hazrat Abu Darda Radi Allaho Anhu se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne irshad farmaya kya main tumhen tumhare malik ki nigaahon mein sab se behtar amal " jo darjaat mein sab se zyada bulandi ka sabab ho tumhare lye sone chandi kharch karne se behtar ho aur us se behtar ho ki maidan e jang mein dushman se tumhara aamna samna ho aur tum un ki gardanein urao aur wo tumhari gardanein urayein " na bata doon? Sahaba kiram Radi Allaho Anhum ne poocha ya Rasulullah! wo kaun sa amal hai? Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya Allah ta'ala ka zikar.
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw a woman outside a tent who was nearing the time of her delivery. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "It seems that her master wants to get 'close' to her?" The people submitted, "Yes!" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "My heart desires that I curse him with such a curse that will stay with him until his grave. How can he make her his heir when she is not lawful for him, and how can he seek service from her when she is not lawful for him?"

حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ایک خیمے کے باہر ایک عورت کو دیکھا جس کے یہاں بچے کی پیدائش کا زمانہ قریب آچکا تھا نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا لگتا ہے کہ اس کا مالک اس کے "" قریب "" جانا چاہتا ہے؟ لوگوں نے عرض کیا جی ہاں! نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا میرا دل چاہتا ہے کہ اس پر ایسی لعنت کروں جو اس کے ساتھ اس کی قبر تک جائے یہ اسے کیسے اپنا وارث بنا سکتا ہے جب کہ یہ اس کے لئے حلال ہی نہیں اور کیسے اس سے خدمت لے سکتا ہے جبکہ یہ اس کے لئے حلال ہی نہیں۔
Hazrat Abu Darda Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai ke ek martaba Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne ek khaime ke bahar ek aurat ko dekha jiske yahan bache ki paidash ka zamana qareeb aa chuka tha Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne farmaya lagta hai ke iska malik iske qareeb jana chahta hai Logon ne arz kiya ji han Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne farmaya mera dil chahta hai ke is par aisi laanat karon jo iske sath iski qabar tak jaye yeh ise kaise apna waris bana sakta hai jab ke yeh iske liye halal hi nahin aur kaise is se khidmat le sakta hai jabke yeh iske liye halal hi nahin
Abu Dhar narrated that once the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said to the Companions, "Are you unable to recite a third of the Quran in one night?" The Companions found it very difficult and said, "Who among us has the strength for that?" The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Recite Surah Ikhlas (for it is equivalent to one-third of the Quran)."

حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے صحابہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے فرمایا کیا تم ایک رات میں تہائی قرآن پڑہنے سے عاجز ہو؟ صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہم کو یہ بات بہت مشکل معلوم ہوئی اور وہ کہنے لگے کہ اس کی طاقت کس کے پاس ہوگی؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا سورت اخلاص پڑھ لیا کرو (کہ وہ ایک تہائی قرآن کے برابر ہے)
Hazrat Abu Darda raziallahu anhu se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Sahaba raziallahu anhum se farmaya kya tum ek raat mein tehrai Quran padhne se aajiz ho? Sahaba kiram raziallahu anhum ko ye baat bahut mushkil maloom hui aur wo kahne lage ki is ki taqat kis ke paas hogi? Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya Surah Ikhlas padh liya karo (kyun ki wo ek tehrai Quran ke barabar hai).
Abdullah ibn Yazid said: I asked Said ibn Musayyib, may Allah have mercy on him, about the monitor lizard. He considered it disliked. I said to him: "But your people eat it." He said: “They may not be aware.” A man who was present there said: “I have heard this hadith from Abu Darda, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, forbade (the eating of) every beast of prey that seizes with its claws and every bird that preys with its talons.” Said ibn Musayyib confirmed it.

عبداللہ بن یزید کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے حضرت سعید بن مسیب رحمہ اللہ سے گوہ کے متعلق پوچھا تو انہوں نے اسے مکروہ قرار دیا، میں نے ان سے کہا کہ آپ کی قوم تو اسے کھاتی ہے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا کہ انہیں معلوم نہیں ہوگا اس پر وہاں موجود ایک آدمی نے کہا کہ میں نے حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ سے یہ حدیث سنی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ہر اس جانور سے منع فرمایا ہے جو لوٹ مار سے حاصل ہو جسے اچک لیا گیا ہو یا ہر وہ درندہ جو اپنے کچلی والے دانتوں سے شکار کرتا ہو حضرت سعید بن مسیب رحمہ اللہ نے اس کی تصدیق فرمائی۔
Abdullah bin Yazid kahte hain ki maine Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyab rehmatullah alaih se ghoh ke mutaliq poocha to unhon ne use makrooh karar diya, maine un se kaha ki aap ki qaum to use khati hai? Unhon ne farmaya ki unhen maloom nahi hoga is par wahan mojood ek aadmi ne kaha ki maine Hazrat Abu Darda razi Allah anhu se ye hadees suni hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne har us janwar se mana farmaya hai jo loot maar se hasil ho jise uchak liya gaya ho ya har woh darinda jo apne kachli wale danton se shikar karta ho Hazrat Saeed bin Musayyab rehmatullah alaih ne is ki tasdeeq farmai.
Safwan bin Abdullah, whose wife was Umm Darda, said: Once I went to Syria and visited Abu Darda, but he was not at home. However, his wife was there. She asked me if I intended to perform Hajj this year. I replied in the affirmative. She said, "Pray for our well-being as well, for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say that a Muslim's supplication for his brother in his absence is answered. An angel is appointed for him who says 'Amen' to every good supplication he makes for his brother and says, 'May the same be for you.'"
Then I went out to the market and met Abu Darda. He also said the same thing to me and narrated the same hadith from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).

صفوان بن عبداللہ " جن کے نکاح میں " درداء تھیں " کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ میں شام آیا اور حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا لیکن وہ گھر پر نہیں ملے البتہ ان کی اہلیہ موجود تھیں، انہوں نے مجھ سے پوچھا کہ کیا اس سال تمہارا حج کا ارادہ ہے؟ میں نے اثبات میں جواب دیا، انہوں نے فرمایا کہ ہمارے لئے بھی خیر کی دعاء کرنا کیونکہ نبی کریم ﷺ فرمایا کرتے تھے کہ مسلمان اپنے بھائی کی غیر موجودگی میں اس کی پیٹھ پیچھے جو دعاء کرتا ہے وہ قبول ہوتی ہے اور اس کے سر کے پاس ایک فرشتہ اس مقصد کے لئے مقرر ہوتا ہے کہ جب بھی وہ اپنے بھائی کے لئے خیر کی دعاء مانگے تو وہ اس پر آمین کہتا ہے اور یہ کہتا ہے کہ تمہیں بھی یہی نصیب ہو۔
پھر میں بازار کی طرف نکلا تو حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ سے بھی ملاقات ہوگئی انہوں نے بھی مجھ سے یہی کہا اور یہی حدیث انہوں نے بھی نبی کریم ﷺ کے حوالے سے سنائی۔
Safwan bin Abdullah jin ke nikah mein Durda thi kehtay hain ke aik martaba mein Sham aya aur Hazrat Abu Darda (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ki khidmat mein hazir hua lekin woh ghar per nahin milay albatta un ki ahliya mojood thin, unhon ne mujh se poocha ke kya iss saal tumhara Hajj ka irada hai? Mein ne isbat mein jawab diya, unhon ne farmaya ke humare liye bhi khair ki dua karna kyunke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) farmaya karte thay ke musalman apne bhai ki ghair maujoodgi mein uski peeth peechay jo dua karta hai woh qubool hoti hai aur uske sar ke pass ek farishta iss maqsad ke liye muqarrar hota hai ke jab bhi woh apne bhai ke liye khair ki dua maangay tou woh us per Ameen kehta hai aur yeh kehta hai ke tumhein bhi yehi naseeb ho.
Phir mein bazaar ki taraf nikla tou Hazrat Abu Darda (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se bhi mulaqat hogayi unhon ne bhi mujh se yehi kaha aur yehi hadees unhon ne bhi Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke hawale se sunaayi.
It is narrated by Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to him and he asked, “Are you a resident, so that we may treat you well, or are you a traveler, so that we may give you provisions for your journey?” The man replied, “I am a traveler.” He said, “I will give you something as provision for your journey which is better than anything else I could give you if I had it.”
Once I was in the service of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and I said, “O Messenger of Allah! The wealthy have taken both this world and the hereafter. We pray and so do they, we fast and so do they; but they give charity and we cannot afford to give charity.” The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Shall I not tell you something which, if you act upon it, none of those who came before you will surpass you, and none of those who come after you will be able to catch up with you, except that someone may act like you? After every prayer, recite 33 times ‘Subhan Allah,’ 33 times ‘Alhamdulillah,’ and 34 times ‘Allahu Akbar.’”

حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک آدمی ان کے یہاں آیا انہوں نے پوچھا کہ تم مقیم ہو کہ ہم تمہارے ساتھ اچھا سلوک کریں یا مسافر ہو کہ تمہیں زاد راہ دیں؟ اس نے کہا کہ میں مسافر ہوں، انہوں نے فرمایا میں تمہیں ایک ایسی چیز زاد راہ کے طور پر دیتا ہوں جس سے افضل اگر کوئی چیز مجھے ملتی تو میں تمہیں وہی دیتا، ایک مرتبہ میں نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا اور عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ! مالدار تو دنیا و آخرت دونوں لے گئے ہم بھی نماز پڑھتے ہیں اور وہ بھی پڑھتے ہیں، ہم بھی روزے رکھتے ہیں اور وہ بھی رکھتے ہیں، البتہ وہ صدقہ کرتے ہیں اور ہم صدقہ نہیں کرسکتے، نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا کیا میں تمہیں ایک ایسی چیز نہ بتادوں کہ اگر تم اس پر عمل کرلو تو تم سے پہلے والا کوئی تم سے آگے نہ بڑھ سکے اور پیچھے والا تمہیں پا نہ سکے الاّ یہ کہ کوئی آدمی تمہاری ہی طرح عمل کرنے لگے ہر نماز کے بعد ٣٣ مرتبہ سبحان اللہ، ٣٣ مرتبہ الحمد اور ٣٤ مرتبہ اللہ اکبر کہہ لیا کرو۔
Hazrat Abudarda raziallahu anhu se marvi hai ki aik aadmi un ke yahan aaya unhon ne poocha ki tum muqeem ho ki hum tumhare sath acha sulook karen ya musafir ho ki tumhen zad rah den? usne kaha ki main musafir hun, unhon ne farmaya main tumhen aik aisi cheez zad rah ke tor par deta hun jis se afzal agar koi cheez mujhe milti to main tumhen wohi deta, aik martaba main Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir hua aur arz kiya Ya Rasul Allah! maldar to dunya o akhirat dono le gaye hum bhi namaz parhte hain aur wo bhi parhte hain, hum bhi roze rakhte hain aur wo bhi rakhte hain, albatta wo sadqa karte hain aur hum sadqa nahin karsakte, Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya kya main tumhen aik aisi cheez na bata dun ki agar tum us par amal karlo to tum se pehle wala koi tum se aage na barh sake aur peeche wala tumhen pa na sake illa ye ki koi aadmi tumhari hi tarah amal karne lage har namaz ke bad 33 martaba Subhan Allah, 33 martaba Alhamdulillah aur 34 martaba Allahu Akbar keh liya karo.
Mu'dhan bin Abi Talha (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that once Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) asked me, "Where do you live?" I said, "In a village behind Hims." He said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: 'If there are three men in a village and the Adhan and Iqamah for prayer are not established among them, then Satan will overpower them. So, join the Muslim community, for the wolf eats the sheep that strays away.'"

معدان بن ابی طلحہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ نے مجھ سے پوچھا کہ تمہاری رہائش کہاں ہے؟ میں نے بتایا کہ حمص سے پیچھے ایک بستی میں انہوں نے کہا کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ جس بستی میں تین آدمی ہوں اور وہاں اذان اور اقامت نماز نہ ہوتی ہو تو ان پر شیطان غالب آجاتا ہے، لہٰذا تم جماعت مسلمین کو اپنے اوپر لازم پکڑو کیونکہ اکیلی بکری کو بھیڑیا کھا جاتا ہے۔
Madan bin Abi Talha razi Allah anhu kahte hain ki ek martaba Hazrat Abu Darda razi Allah anhu ne mujhse pucha ki tumhari rahaish kahan hai? Maine bataya ki Hums se peche ek basti mein. Unhon ne kaha ki maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai ki jis basti mein teen aadmi hon aur wahan azan aur iqamat namaz na hoti ho to un par shaitan ghalib a jata hai, lihaza tum jamaat muslimeen ko apne upar lazim pakro kyunki akeli bakri ko bhediya kha jata hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Whoever memorizes the first ten verses of Surah Kahf will be protected from the tribulation of Dajjal."

حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا جو شخص سورت کہف کی ابتدائی دس آیات یاد کرلے وہ دجال کے فتنے سے محفوظ رہے گا۔
Hazrat Abu Darda (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya jo shakhs Surah Kahf ki ibtidai das ayat yaad karle woh Dajjal ke fitne se mehfooz rahe ga.
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Darda, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, once sacrificed two castrated rams, each six months old.

حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ایک مرتبہ چھ ماہ کے دو خصی مینڈھوں کی قربانی فرمائی۔

It is narrated by Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) once sacrificed two castrated rams, each six months old.

حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ایک مرتبہ چھ ماہ کے دو خصی مینڈھوں کی قربانی فرمائی۔

Qais bin Kathir (may Allah have mercy upon him) narrates that a man from Madinah came to Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) in Damascus. He asked the visitor, "Brother, what brings you here?" The man replied, "I came to learn a hadith that I heard you narrate from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)." Abu Darda asked, "Did you not come for any trade or business?" He replied, "No." He asked, "For any other work?" He replied, "No." He asked, "Did you come solely for this hadith?" He replied, "Yes." Abu Darda said, "I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: 'Whoever travels a path in search of knowledge, Allah makes easy for him a path to Paradise. The angels spread their wings for the seeker of knowledge out of delight, and all creatures in the heavens and earth, even the fish in the sea, ask forgiveness for the scholar. The superiority of the scholar over the worshipper is like the superiority of the moon over all other celestial bodies. Verily, the scholars are the inheritors of the Prophets, and the Prophets do not leave behind dinars or dirhams as inheritance, but rather they leave behind knowledge; so whoever acquires it, has indeed acquired a great share.'"

قیس بن کثیر رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ مدینہ منورہ سے ایک آدمی حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس دمشق میں آیا انہوں نے آنے والے سے پوچھا کہ بھائی! کیسے آنا ہوا؟ اس نے کہا کہ ایک حدیث معلوم کرنے کے لئے جس کے متعلق مجھے معلوم ہوا ہے کہ آپ وہ حدیث نبی کریم ﷺ کے حوالے سے بیان کرتے ہیں، انہوں نے پوچھا کیا آپ کسی تجارت کے سلسلے میں نہیں آئے؟ اس نے کہا نہیں انہوں نے پوچھا کسی اور کام کے لئے؟ اس نے کہا نہیں، انہوں نے پوچھا کیا آپ صرف اسی حدیث کے طلب میں آئے ہیں؟ اس نے کہا جی ہاں، انہوں نے کہا کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ جو شخص طلب علم کے لئے کسی راستے میں چلتا ہے اللہ اسے جنت کے راستے پر چلا دیتا ہے اور فرشتے اس طالب علم کی خوشنودی کے لئے اپنے پر بچھا دیتے ہیں اور عالم کے لئے زمین و آسمان کی ساری مخلوقات بخشش کی دعائیں کرتی ہیں اور عالم کی عابد پر فضیلت ایسے ہی ہے جیسے چاند کی دوسرے ستاروں پر، بیشک علماء انبیاء کرام کے وارث ہوتے ہیں جو وراثت میں دینار و درہم نہیں چھوڑتے، بلکہ وہ تو وراثت میں علم چھوڑ کر جاتے ہیں، سو جو اسے حاصل کرلیتا ہے وہ اس کا بہت سا حصہ حاصل کرلیتا ہے۔
Qais bin Kathir rehmatullah alaih kehte hain ki Madina Munawwara se ek aadmi Hazrat Abu Darda raziallah anhu ke pass Damishq mein aaya unhon ne aane wale se poocha ki bhai kaise aana hua usne kaha ki ek hadees maloom karne ke liye jis ke mutalliq mujhe maloom hua hai ki aap wo hadees Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke hawale se bayan karte hain unhon ne poocha kya aap kisi tijarat ke silsile mein nahin aaye usne kaha nahin unhon ne poocha kisi aur kaam ke liye usne kaha nahin unhon ne poocha kya aap sirf isi hadees ke talab mein aaye hain usne kaha ji haan unhon ne kaha ki maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate hue suna hai ki jo shakhs talab ilm ke liye kisi raste mein chalta hai Allah use jannat ke raste par chala deta hai aur farishte us talib ilm ki khushnudi ke liye apne par bichha dete hain aur aalim ke liye zameen o aasman ki sari makhlooqat bakhshish ki duaaen karti hain aur aalim ki abid par fazilat aise hi hai jaise chand ki doosre sitaron par beshak ulama anbiya kiram ke waris hote hain jo wirasat mein dinar o dirham nahin chhorte balki wo to wirasat mein ilm chhor kar jaate hain so jo ise hasil kar leta hai wo iska bahut sa hissa hasil kar leta hai
A man was commanded by his mother or father, or both, to divorce his wife. (He refused) and said that if he divorced his wife, it would be obligatory upon him to free one hundred slaves. Then the man came to Abu Darda' (may Allah be pleased with him), while he was praying the long prayer of Chasht (forenoon). Then he prayed the prayer between Zuhr and Asr. Then the man asked him about this matter, so he said, "Fulfill your vow (free one hundred slaves) and obey your parents, for I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: 'The father is the middle gate of Paradise, so it is up to you whether you protect it or leave it."

ایک آدمی کو اس کی ماں یا باپ یا دونوں نے حکم دیا کہ اپنی بیوی کو طلاق دے دے (اس نے انکار کردیا اور) کہا کہ اگر اس نے اپنی بیوی کو طلاق دی تو اس پر سو غلام آزاد کرنا واجب ہوں گے، پھر وہ آدمی حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس آیا تو وہ چاشت کی لمبی نماز پڑھ رہے تھے پھر انہوں نے ظہر اور عصر کے درمیان نماز پڑھی پھر اس شخص نے ان سے یہ مسئلہ پوچھا تو انہوں نے فرمایا اپنی منت پوری کرلو (سو غلام آزاد کردو) اور اپنے والدین کی بات مانو کیونکہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ باپ جنت کا درمیانہ دروازہ ہے اب تمہاری مرضی ہے کہ اس کی حفاظت کرو یا اسے چھوڑ دو۔
Ek aadmi ko us ki maan ya baap ya donon ne hukm diya keh apni biwi ko talaq de de (us ne inkar kardiya aur) kaha keh agar us ne apni biwi ko talaq di to us par sau ghulam azad karna wajib honge, phir wo aadmi Hazrat Abu Darda (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke paas aaya to wo chaast ki lambi namaz parh rahe the phir unhon ne zuhar aur asr ke darmiyaan namaz parhi phir us shakhs ne un se ye masla poocha to unhon ne farmaya apni munt puri karlo (sau ghulam azad kardo) aur apne waldain ki baat mano kyunki maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai keh baap jannat ka darmiyana darwaza hai ab tumhari marzi hai keh us ki hifazat karo ya use chhor do.
Abu Habibah (may Allah have mercy on him) narrated that a man, while dying, made a will to spend some of his wealth in the way of Allah. When Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) was asked about it, he narrated this hadith from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "The example of one who frees a slave at the time of his death or gives charity, is like that of a person who, having been fully satiated, gives away what is left over."

ابو حبیبہ رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک آدمی نے مرتے وقت اپنے مال میں سے کچھ دینا اللہ کے راستہ میں خرچ کرنے کی وصیت کی حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ سے اس کے متعلق پوچھا گیا تو انہوں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کے حوالے سے یہ حدیث سنائی کہ جو شخص مرتے وقت کسی غلام کو آزاد کرتا یا صدقہ خیرات کرتا ہے اس کی مثال اس شخص کی سی ہے جو خوب سیراب ہونے کے بعد بچ جانے والی چیز کو ہدیہ کر دے۔

Abu Habibah (may Allah have mercy on him) said: A man, at the time of his death, willed some dinars from his wealth to be spent in the way of Allah. Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) was asked about it, so he narrated this hadith on the authority of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "The example of the one who frees a slave at the time of his death or gives charity is like the example of a person who, after having drunk his fill, gives away what remains."

It is narrated on the authority of Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man asked the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), "O Messenger of Allah! Is there recitation in every prayer?" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, "Yes!" So, an Ansari said, "This has become obligatory then."

حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک آدمی نے نبی کریم ﷺ سے پوچھا یا رسول اللہ! کیا ہر نماز میں قرأت ہوتی ہے؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا ہاں! تو ایک انصاری نے کہا کہ یہ تو واجب ہوگئی۔
Hazrat Abu Darda (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek aadmi ne Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se poocha Ya Rasulullah kya har namaz mein qiraat hoti hai Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya Haan to ek ansari ne kaha ki yah to wajib hogayi.
It is narrated by Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whenever the sun rises, two angels are sent on both its sides, who make this proclamation (and all the inhabitants of the earth hear this proclamation except the Jinn and humankind) "O people! Come towards your Lord, for a little that suffices is better than an abundance that makes one negligent." Similarly, when the sun sets, two angels are sent on both its sides, who make this proclamation (and this proclamation is also heard by all the inhabitants of the earth except the Jinn and humankind): "O Allah! Grant the spender a good return for his spending, and O Allah! Destroy the wealth of the one who withholds."

حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا جب بھی سورج طلوع ہوتا ہے تو اس کے دونوں پہلوؤں میں دو فرشتے بھیجے جاتے ہیں جو یہ منادی کرتے ہیں " اور اس منادی کو جن وانس کے علاوہ تمام اہل زمین سنتے ہیں " کہ اے لوگو! اپنے رب کی طرف آؤ کیونکہ وہ تھوڑا جو کافی ہوجائے، اس زیادہ سے بہتر ہے جو غفلت میں ڈال دے اسی طرح جب بھی سورج غروب ہوتا ہے تو اس کے دونوں پہلوؤں میں دو فرشتے بھیجے جاتے ہیں جو یہ منادی کرتے ہیں اور اس منادی کو بھی جن وانس کے علاوہ تمام اہل زمین سنتے ہیں " کہ اے اللہ! خرچ کرنے والے کو اس کا نعم البدل عطاء فرما اور اے اللہ! روک کر رکھنے والے کے مال کو ہلاک فرما۔
Hazrat Abu Darda (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya jab bhi sooraj talu hota hai to iske donon pehluon mein do farishte bheje jate hain jo ye munaddi karte hain " aur is munaddi ko jinn o ins ke ilawa tamam ahle zameen sunte hain " ki aye logon! Apne rab ki taraf aao kyunki woh thora jo kafi hojaye is zyada se behtar hai jo gaflat mein daal de isi tarah jab bhi sooraj ghuroob hota hai to iske donon pehluon mein do farishte bheje jate hain jo ye munaddi karte hain aur is munaddi ko bhi jinn o ins ke ilawa tamam ahle zameen sunte hain " ki aye Allah! Kharach karne wale ko iska nem ul badal ata farma aur aye Allah! Rok kar rakhne wale ke maal ko halaak farma.
Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Allah the Almighty has already written five things for every person at the time of his creation: his lifespan, his deeds, his final abode, his status, and his sustenance.

حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا اللہ تعالیٰ ہر بندے کی تخلیق میں پانچ چیزیں لکھ چکا ہے اس کی عمر، عمل، ٹھکانہ اثر اور اس کا رزق۔
Hazrat Abu Darda (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya Allah ta'ala har bande ki takhleeq mein panch cheezein likh chuka hai uski umr, amal, thikana asar aur uska rizq.
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying that Allah Almighty has written five things in the creation of every person: his lifespan, his deeds, his wealth, and whether he will be wretched or blessed.

حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ ہر بندے کی تخلیق میں پانچ چیزیں لکھ چکا ہے اس کی عمر، عمل، اثر اور اس کا رزق اور یہ کہ وہ شقی ہوگا یا سعید۔
Hazrat Abu Darda (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai ki Allah Ta'ala har bande ki takhleeq mein panch cheezen likh chuka hai uski umr, amal, asar aur uska rizq aur ye ki woh shaqi hoga ya saeed.
Abdul Rahman bin Ghanam (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that once he went to "Hims" to meet Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) and stayed with him for a few days. Then, when he ordered, the saddle was placed on his donkey. Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "I will also go with you." So, at his command, a saddle was placed on his donkey as well, and they both mounted their rides and set off.
On the way, they met a man who had prayed the Friday prayer the previous day with Amir Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) in Jabiyah. He recognized both of them, but they did not recognize him. He informed them about the well-being of the people there, then said, "There is one more piece of news, but I don't feel comfortable telling you because I think it will burden your heart." Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "Perhaps Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) has been exiled?" He said, "Yes! That's the news."
Upon hearing this, Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) and his companion recited "Inna Lillahi" (Indeed, we belong to Allah) about ten times. Then Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "Be patient and wait just as the people of Thamud (the camel owners) were told. O Allah! If these people are rejecting Abu Dharr, then I am not included among those who reject him. O Allah! If they are accusing him, then I do not accuse him. O Allah! If they are being harsh on him, then I am not. Because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to consider him trustworthy at a time when he did not consider anyone else trustworthy. He used to go to him himself at a time when he did not go to anyone else. By the One in whose hand is the soul of Abu Darda, even if Abu Dharr were to cut off my right hand, I would never hold any malice towards him. For I have heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say, 'There is no one more truthful than Abu Dharr under the shadow of the heavens and on the face of this earth.'"

عبدالرحمن بن غنم رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ وہ حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ سے ملاقات کے لئے " حمص " گئے اور چند دن تک ان کے یہاں قیام کیا پھر حکم دیا تو ان کے گدھے پر پلان لگا دیا گیا، حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا کہ میں بھی تمہارے ساتھ ہی چلوں گا، چنانچہ ان کے حکم پر ان کے گدھے پر بھی زین کس دی گئی اور وہ دونوں اپنی اپنی سواری پر سوار ہو کر چل پڑے، راستے میں انہیں ایک آدمی ملا جس نے گزشتہ دن جمعے کی نماز حضرت امیر معاویہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے ساتھ جابیہ میں پڑھی تھی، اس نے ان دونوں کو پہچان لیا لیکن وہ دونوں اسے نہ پہچان سکے، اس نے انہیں وہاں کے لوگوں کے حالات بتائے پھر کہنے لگا کہ ایک خبر اور بھی ہے لیکن وہ آپ کو بتانا مجھے اچھا محسوس نہیں ہو رہا ہے کیونکہ میرا خیال ہے کہ اس سے آپ کی طبیعت پر بوجھ ہوگا حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا شاید حضرت ابوذر رضی اللہ عنہ کو جلا وطن کردیا گیا ہو؟ اس نے کہا جی ہاں! یہی خبر ہے۔
اس پر حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ اور ان کے ساتھی نے تقریباً دس مرتبہ " انا للہ " پڑھا پھر حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا کہ تم اسی طرح انتظار اور صبر کرو جیسے اونٹنی والوں (قوم ثمود) سے کہا گیا تھا اے اللہ! اگر یہ لوگ ابوذر کو جھٹلا رہے ہیں تو میں ابوذر کو جھٹلانے والوں میں شامل نہیں ہوں، اے اللہ! اگر وہ تہمت لگا رہے ہیں تو میں انہیں متہم نہیں کرتا، اے اللہ اگر وہ ان پر چھا رہے ہیں تو میں ایسا نہیں کر رہا، کیونکہ نبی کریم ﷺ اس وقت انہیں امین قرار دیتے تھے جب کسی کو امین قرار نہیں دیتے تھے اس وقت ان کے پاس خود چل کر جاتے تھے جب کسی کے پاس نہیں جاتے تھے اس ذات کی قسم جس کے دست قدرت میں ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ کی جان ہے اگر ابوذر میرا داہنا ہاتھ بھی کاٹ دیں تو میں ان سے کبھی بغض نہیں کروں گا کیونکہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے آسمان کے سایہ تلے اور روئے زمین پر ابوذر رضی اللہ عنہ زیادہ سچا آدمی کوئی نہیں ہے۔
Abdur Rahman bin Ghanam (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ki ek martaba woh Hazrat Abu Darda (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se mulaqat ke liye "Hums" gaye aur chand din tak un ke yahan qiyam kiya phir hukm diya to un ke gadhe par pelan laga diya gaya, Hazrat Abu Darda (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne farmaya ki main bhi tumhare sath hi chaloon ga, chunancha un ke hukm par un ke gadhe par bhi zein kas di gayi aur woh donon apni apni سواری par sawar ho kar chal pade, raste mein unhen ek aadmi mila jis ne guzishta din jumme ki namaz Hazrat Amir Muawiya (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke sath Jabiya mein parhi thi, us ne un donon ko pehchan liya lekin woh donon usey nah pehchan sake, us ne unhen wahan ke logon ke haalat bataye phir kehne laga ki ek khabar aur bhi hai lekin woh aap ko batana mujhe achha mehsoos nahin ho raha hai kyunki mera khayal hai ki us se aap ki tabiyat par bojh hoga Hazrat Abu Darda (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne farmaya shayad Hazrat Abuzar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ko jala watan kar diya gaya ho? us ne kaha ji haan! yahi khabar hai.
Is par Hazrat Abu Darda (رضي الله تعالى عنه) aur un ke sathi ne taqreeban das martaba "Inna Lillahi" parha phir Hazrat Abu Darda (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne farmaya ki tum isi tarah intezar aur sabar karo jaise untni walon (qaum samood) se kaha gaya tha aye Allah! agar ye log Abuzar ko jhutla rahe hain to main Abuzar ko jhutlane walon mein shamil nahin hun, aye Allah! agar woh tuhmmat laga rahe hain to main unhen muthamm nahin karta, aye Allah agar woh un par chha rahe hain to main aisa nahin kar raha, kyunki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) us waqt unhen amin karar dete the jab kisi ko amin karar nahin dete the us waqt un ke pass khud chal kar jate the jab kisi ke pass nahin jate the is zaat ki qasam jis ke dast qudrat mein Abu Darda (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ki jaan hai agar Abuzar mera dahina hath bhi kaat den to main un se kabhi bughz nahin karoon ga kyunki main ne Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate hue suna hai aasman ke saya tale aur rue zameen par Abuzar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) zyada sacha aadmi koi nahin hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: At the time of the battle in Ghouta, the camp (center) of the Muslims will be near a city called "Damascus".

حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا شہر غوطہ میں جنگ کے موقع پر مسلمانوں کا خیمہ (مرکز) " دمشق " نامی شہر کے پہلو میں ہوگا۔
Hazrat Abu Darda (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya shehr Ghouta mein jang ke mauqa par musalmanon ka khaima (markaz) "Damishq" nami shehr ke pehlu mein hoga.
Abu Abdur Rahman Salmi narrates that a man came to Abu Darda, may Allah be pleased with him, and said: My wife is the daughter of my paternal uncle. I love her very much, but my mother is ordering me to divorce her. He said: I am ordering you to divorce your wife and not disobey your mother. However, I will narrate to you a hadith that I heard from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that the mother is the middle door of Paradise. Now, if you want, keep her (the door) closed, and if you want, leave it open.

ابوعبدالرحمن سلمی کہتے ہیں کہ ایک آدمی حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس آیا اور کہنے لگا کہ میری بیوی میرے چچا کی بیٹی ہے مجھے اس سے بڑی محبت ہے لیکن میری والدہ مجھے حکم دیتی ہے کہ میں اسے طلاق دے دوں؟ انہوں نے فرمایا کہ میں تمہیں اس کا حکم دیتا ہوں کہ تم اپنی بیوی کو طلاق دے دو اور نہ یہ کہ اپنی والدہ کی نافرمانی کرو البتہ میں تمہیں ایک حدیث سناتا ہوں جو میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ سے سنی ہے کہ والدہ جنت کا درمیانہ دروازہ ہے اب تم چاہو تو اسے روک کر رکھو اور چاہو تو چھوڑ دو۔
Abuabdurrehmansalami kehte hain k aik aadmi Hazrat Abudurda raziallahu anhu k pass aaya aur kehne laga k meri biwi mere chacha ki beti hai mujhe us se bari muhabbat hai lekin meri walida mujhe hukm deti hai k main usay talaq de dun? Unhon ne farmaya k main tumhen iska hukm deta hun k tum apni biwi ko talaq de do aur na ye k apni walida ki nafarmani karo albatta main tumhen aik hadees sunata hun jo main ne Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se suni hai k walida jannat ka darmiyana darwaza hai ab tum chaho to usay rok kar rakho aur chaho to chor do.
It is narrated on the authority of Thabit or Abu Thabit that a man entered the mosque of Damascus and prayed, "O Allah! Grant me a companion in my solitude, have mercy on my strangeness and grant me a good friend." Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) heard his prayer and said, "If you are making this prayer with a sincere heart, then I am more deserving of this prayer than you. I have heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying in the explanation of this verse of the Holy Quran, 'Among them are some who are unjust to themselves' (35:32), that the account of the oppressor will be taken at his place and this will be a matter of grief. 'Among them will be those who are moderate' (35:32), their account will be taken easily. 'And among them will be those who are foremost in good deeds by Allah's permission' (35:32), these are the people who will enter Paradise without any account."

ثابت یا ابوثابت سے مروی ہے کہ ایک آدمی مسجد دمشق میں داخل ہوا اور یہ دعاء کی کہ اے اللہ! مجھے تنہائی میں کوئی مونس عطاء فرما میری اجنبیت پر ترس کھا اور مجھے اچھا رفیق عطاء فرما، حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ نے اس کی یہ دعاء سن لی اور فرمایا کہ تم یہ دعاء صدق دل سے کر رہے ہو تو اس دعاء کا میں تم سے زیادہ سعادت یافتہ ہوں، میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو قرآن کریم کی اس آیت فمنہم ظالم لنفسہ کی تفسیر میں یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ ظالم سے اس کے اعمال کا حساب کتاب اسی کے مقام پر لیا جائے گا اور یہی غم اندوہ ہوگا منہم مقتصد یعنی کچھ لوگ درمیانے درجے کے ہوں گے، ان کا آسان حساب لیا جائے گا ومنہم سابق بالخیرات باذن اللہ یہ وہ لوگ ہوں گے جو جنت میں بلاحساب کتاب داخل ہوجائیں گے۔
Sabit ya Abu Sabit se marvi hai ki ek aadmi masjid Damascus mein dakhil hua aur yeh dua ki ke aye Allah! mujhe tanhai mein koi mons ata farma meri ajnabiyat par taras kha aur mujhe achha rafiq ata farma, Hazrat Abu Darda razi Allah anhu ne uski yeh dua sun li aur farmaya ke tum yeh dua sidq dil se kar rahe ho to is dua ka mein tum se ziada saadat yaafta hun, maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko Quran Kareem ki is ayat Famanhum zalim li nafsihi ki tafseer mein yeh farmate huye suna hai ke zalim se uske aamal ka hisab kitab usi ke muqam par liya jayega aur yehi gham o doh hoga minhum muqtasid yani kuch log darmiyanay darjay ke honge, unka aasan hisab liya jayega waminhum saabeq bil khairat bi iznillah yeh woh log honge jo jannat mein bila hisab kitab dakhil hojayenge.
Anas Jahni (may Allah be pleased with him) once visited Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) and prayed for him, saying, "May Allah protect you from all diseases and keep you healthy." Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) replied, "I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say that a Muslim constantly suffers from headaches and other ailments, and his sins are like Mount Uhud, but these diseases leave him only when he has not a sin equal to a mustard seed."

حضرت انس جہنی رضی اللہ عنہ ایک مرتبہ حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ کے یہاں آئے تو انہیں دعاء دی کہ اللہ آپ کو ہر مرض سے بچا کر صحت کے ساتھ رکھے حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ ارشاد فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ مسلمان آدمی سر درد اور دیگر بیماریوں میں مسلسل مبتلا ہوتا رہتا ہے اور اس کے گناہ احد پہاڑ کے برابر ہوتے ہیں لیکن یہ بیماریاں اسے اس وقت چھوڑتی ہیں جب اس پر ایک رائی کے دانے کے برابر بھی گناہ نہیں رہتے۔
Hazrat Anas Jahni Razi Allaho Anho aik martaba Hazrat Abu Darda Razi Allaho Anho ke yahan aye to unhen dua di ke Allah aap ko har marz se bacha kar sehat ke sath rakhe Hazrat Abu Darda Razi Allaho Anho ne farmaya ke maine Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ko ye irshad farmate hue suna hai ke musalman aadmi sar dard aur digar bimariyon mein musalsal mubtala hota rehta hai aur uske gunah uhud pahar ke barabar hote hain lekin ye bimariyan use us waqt chhorti hain jab us par aik rai ke dane ke barabar bhi gunah nahi rehte.
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Whoever takes a bath or performs ablution and does it well, wears good clothes, applies perfume or oil, then comes for Friday prayer, does not engage in any frivolous act, and does not pass between two people, all his sins from the previous Friday to this Friday will be forgiven."

حضرت ابوذر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا جو شخص غسل کرے یا طہارت حاصل کرے اور خوب اچھی طرح کرے عمدہ کپڑے پہنے، خوشبو یا تیل لگائے، پھر جمعہ کے لئے آئے کوئی لغو حرکت نہ کرے کسی دو آدمیوں کے درمیان نہ گھسے اس کے اگلے جمعہ تک سارے گناہ معاف ہوجائیں گے۔
Hazrat Abuzar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya jo shakhs ghusal kare ya taharat hasil kare aur khoob achhi tarah kare umdah kapde pehne, khushbu ya tel lagaye, phir juma ke liye aaye koi laghv harkat na kare kisi do aadmiyon ke darmiyan na ghusse uske agle juma tak sare gunah maaf hojayenge.
It is narrated on the authority of Abi bin Ka’ab (may Allah be pleased with him) that once, on a Friday, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) recited Surah Bara’at (Surah Tauba) while on the pulpit. At that time, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was standing and mentioning the blessings of Allah. Abi bin Ka’ab (may Allah be pleased with him) was sitting in front of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Abu Dhar Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) and Abud Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) were also sitting with him. One of them pinched Abi (may Allah be pleased with him) and said, “O Abi! When was this Surah revealed? I am hearing it for the first time.” Abi bin Ka’ab (may Allah be pleased with him) gestured to him to remain silent.
After the prayer was over, he said, "I had asked you when this Surah was revealed, why didn't you tell me?" Abi (may Allah be pleased with him) replied, "Your prayer today was only as much as you engaged in this meaningless act." He went to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and mentioned this statement of Abi (may Allah be pleased with him), to which the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Abi has spoken the truth. When you see the Imam speaking, remain silent until he finishes."

حضرت ابی بن کعب رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ جمعہ کے دن نبی کریم ﷺ نے برسر منبر سورت برأت کی تلاوت فرمائی اس وقت نبی کریم ﷺ کھڑے ہو کر اللہ کے احسانات کا تذکرہ فرما رہے تھے حضرت ابی بن کعب رضی اللہ عنہ نبی کریم ﷺ کے سامنے بیٹھے ہوئے تھے ان کے ہمراہ حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ اور ابوذر غفاری رضی اللہ عنہ بھی بیٹھے ہوئے تھے ان میں سے ایک نے حضرت ابی رضی اللہ عنہ کو چٹکی بھری اور کہا کہ ابی! یہ سورت کب نازل ہوئی ہے؟ یہ تو میں ابھی سن رہا ہوں حضرت ابی بن کعب رضی اللہ عنہ نے انہیں اشارے سے خاموش رہنے کا حکم دیا۔
نماز سے فارغ ہو کر انہوں نے کہا کہ میں نے آپ سے پوچھا تھا کہ یہ سورت کب نازل ہوئی تو آپ نے مجھے بتایا کیوں نہیں؟ حضرت ابی رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا آج تو تمہاری نماز صرف اتنی ہی ہوئی ہے جتنا تم نے اس میں یہ لغو کام کیا وہ نبی ﷺ کے پاس چلے گئے اور حضرت ابی رضی اللہ عنہ کی یہ بات ذکر کی تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا ابی نے سچ کہا۔ جب تم امام کو گفتگو کرتے ہوئے دیکھو تو خاموش ہوجایا کرو یہاں تک کہ وہ فارغ ہوجائے۔
Hazrat Abi bin Kaab (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek martaba Juma ke din Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne barsar mimbar Surah Baraat ki tilawat farmai us waqt Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) kharay ho kar Allah ke ehsaanat ka tazkara farma rahay thay Hazrat Abi bin Kaab (رضي الله تعالى عنه) Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke samne baithe hue thay un ke hamrah Hazrat Abudarda (رضي الله تعالى عنه) aur Abuzar Ghaffari (رضي الله تعالى عنه) bhi baithe hue thay in mein se ek ne Hazrat Abi (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ko chitthi bhari aur kaha ki Abi yeh Surah kab nazil hui yeh to main abhi sun raha hun Hazrat Abi bin Kaab (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne unhen ishaare se khamosh rahne ka hukum diya Namaz se farigh ho kar unhon ne kaha ki maine aapse pucha tha ki yeh Surah kab nazil hui to aap ne mujhe bataya kyun nahi Hazrat Abi (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne farmaya aaj to tumhari namaz sirf utni hi hui hai jitna tum ne is mein yeh laghw kaam kiya woh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke paas chale gaye aur Hazrat Abi (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ki yeh baat zikar ki to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya Abi ne sach kaha jab tum Imam ko guftagu karte hue dekho to khamosh ho jaya karo yahan tak ki woh farigh ho jaye
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: Bring your weak ones to me, because you are granted provision and victory due to the blessings of your weak ones.

حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ اپنے کمزوروں کو تلاش کر کے میرے پاس لایا کرو کیونکہ تمہیں رزق اور فتح ونصرت تمہارے کمزوروں کی برکت سے ملتی ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Darda (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ke main ne Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai ke apne kamzoron ko talash kar ke mere paas laya karo kyunki tumhen rizq aur fatah o nusrat tumhare kamzoron ki barkat se milti hai.
Umm Darda (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that whenever Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) would narrate a Hadith, he would smile. I once said to him, "What if people start calling you 'foolish'?" He replied, "Whenever I saw or heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) narrating a Hadith, he would be smiling."

حضرت ام درداء رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتی ہیں کہ حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ جب بھی کوئی حدیث سناتے تو مسکرایا کرتے تھے میں نے ان سے ایک مرتبہ کہا کہ کہیں لوگ آپ کو " احمق " نہ کہنے لگیں، انہوں نے فرمایا کہ میں نے تو نبی کریم کو کوئی حدیث بیان کرتے ہوئے جب بھی دیکھا یا سنا ہے تو آپ ﷺ مسکرا رہے ہوتے تھے۔
Hazrat Umm Darda RA farmati hain keh Hazrat Abu Darda RA jab bhi koi hadees sunate to muskraya karte the maine un se ek martaba kaha keh kahin log aap ko "ahmaq" na kehne lagein, unhon ne farmaya keh maine to Nabi Kareem ko koi hadees bayan karte hue jab bhi dekha ya suna hai to aap SAW muskura rahe hote the.
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Darda (RA) that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) said, "Once I was sleeping and I saw in a dream that the pillars of the Book (knowledge) were lifted from beneath my head. I understood that it was being taken away, so my gaze followed it. Then it was taken to Sham. Remember! When turmoil and trials will be rampant, at that time faith will be in Sham."

حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا ایک مرتبہ میں سو رہا تھا کہ خواب میں میں نے کتاب کے ستونوں کو دیکھا کہ انہیں میرے سر کے نیچے سے اٹھایا گیا، میں سمجھ گیا کہ اسے لیجایا جارہا ہے چنانچہ میری نگاہیں اس کا پیچھا کرتی رہیں پھر اسے شام پہنچا دیا گیا یاد رکھو! جس زمانے میں فتنے رونما ہوں گے اس وقت ایمان شام میں ہوگا۔
Hazrat Abu Darda (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ek martaba mein so raha tha ki khwab mein maine kitab ke sutunon ko dekha ki unhein mere sar ke neeche se uthaya gaya mein samjha gaya ki ise lejaya ja raha hai chunancha meri nigahen iska picha karti rahin phir ise Sham pahuncha diya gaya yaad rakho jis zamane mein fitne ronuma honge us waqt imaan Sham mein hoga
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Accept Islam, Allah will forgive your sins."

حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا اسلام قبول کرلو اللہ تمہارے گناہوں کو معاف فرما دے گا۔

Umm Darda (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that whenever Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) used to narrate any Hadith, he would smile. I once said to him, "What if people start calling you a fool?". He replied, "Whenever I saw or heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) narrating any Hadith, he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would be smiling."

حضرت ام درداء رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتی ہیں کہ حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ جب بھی کوئی حدیث سناتے تو مسکرایا کرتے تھے میں نے ان سے ایک مرتبہ کہا کہ کہیں لوگ آپ کو " احمق " نہ کہنے لگیں، انہوں نے فرمایا کہ میں نے تو نبی کریم کو کوئی حدیث بیان کرتے ہوئے جب بھی دیکھا یا سنا ہے تو آپ ﷺ مسکرا رہے ہوتے تھے۔

Anas Jahni, may Allah be pleased with him, once visited Abu Darda, may Allah be pleased with him, and prayed for him, "May Allah keep you healthy and protect you from all diseases." Abu Darda, may Allah be pleased with him, replied, "I heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saying: 'A Muslim constantly suffers from headaches and other ailments, and his sins are like Mount Uhud. But these ailments leave him only when not even a mustard seed's weight of sin is left on him.'"
حضرت انس جہنی رضی اللہ عنہ ایک مرتبہ حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ کے یہاں آئے تو انہیں دعاء دی کہ اللہ آپ کو ہر مرض سے بچا کر صحت کے ساتھ رکھے حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ ارشاد فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ مسلمان آدمی سر درد اور دیگر بیماریوں میں مسلسل مبتلا ہوتا رہتا ہے اور اس کے گناہ احد پہاڑ کے برابر ہوتے ہیں لیکن یہ بیماریاں اسے اس وقت چھوڑتی ہیں جب اس پر ایک رائی کے دانے کے برابر بھی گناہ نہیں رہتے۔
Hazrat Anas Jahni Razi Allah Anhu aik martaba Hazrat Abu Darda Razi Allah Anhu ke yahan aye to unhen dua di ke Allah aap ko har marz se bacha kar sehat ke sath rakhe Hazrat Abu Darda Razi Allah Anhu ne farmaya ke maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye irshad farmate hue suna hai ke musalman aadmi sar dard aur digar bimariyon mein musalsal mubtala hota rehta hai aur uske gunah uhud pahar ke barabar hote hain lekin ye bimariyan use us waqt chhorti hain jab us par aik rai ke dane ke barabar bhi gunah nahi rehte.
It is narrated by Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "On the Day of Judgement, the first person who will be allowed to prostrate will be me, and I will be the first to be allowed to raise my head. When I look in front of me, I will recognize my Ummah from among other nations, and I will recognize my Ummah from behind, right and left in the same way." A man asked, "O Messenger of Allah! How will you recognize your Ummah among all the nations that came from Noah (peace be upon him) to you?" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "The foreheads of my Ummah will be shining and bright from the effects of ablution, this quality will not be of anyone else, and I will also be able to recognize them by the fact that their books of deeds will be in their right hands, and that their minor children will be running in front of them."

حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا قیامت کے دن سب سے پہلے جس شخص کو سجدہ ریز ہونے کی اجازت ملے گی وہ میں ہوں گا اور مجھے ہی سب سے پہلے سر اٹھانے کی اجازت ملے گی، چنانچہ میں اپنے سامنے دیکھوں گا تو دوسری امتوں میں سے اپنی امت کو پہچان لوں گا اسی طرح پیچھے سے اور دائیں بائیں سے بھی اپنی امت کو پہچان لوں گا ایک آدمی نے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ! حضرت نوح علیہ السلام سے لے کر آپ تک جتنی امتیں آئی ہیں ان میں سے آپ اپنی امت کو کیسے پہچانیں گے؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا میری امت کے لوگوں کی پیشانیاں آثار وضو سے چمک دار اور روشن ہوں گی، یہ کیفیت کسی اور کی نہیں ہوگی اور میں اس طرح بھی انہیں شناخت کرسکوں گا کہ ان کے نامہ اعمال ان کے دائیں ہاتھ میں ہوں گے اور یہ کہ ان کے نابالغ اولاد ان کے آگے دوڑ رہی ہوگی۔
Hazrat Abu Darda (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya qayamat ke din sab se pehle jis shakhs ko sijda riz hone ki ijazat milegi wo main hon ga aur mujhe hi sab se pehle sar uthane ki ijazat milegi, chunancha main apne samne dekhon ga to dusri ummaton mein se apni ummat ko pehchan lon ga isi tarah peeche se aur daen baen se bhi apni ummat ko pehchan lon ga ek aadmi ne arz kiya ya Rasulullah! Hazrat Nuh Alaihissalam se lekar aap tak jitni ummatein aain hain un mein se aap apni ummat ko kaise pehchanien ge? Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya meri ummat ke logon ki peshaniyan asar wazu se chamkdar aur roshan hongi, yeh kefiyat kisi aur ki nahin hogi aur main is tarah bhi unhen shanakt kar sakon ga ki un ke nama amal un ke daen hath mein honge aur yeh ki un ke nabaligh aulad un ke aage daud rahi hogi.
It is narrated by Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) and Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "On the Day of Resurrection, I will recognize my Ummah among other nations." The people asked, "O Messenger of Allah! How will you recognize your Ummah from all the nations that have come from the time of Noah (peace be upon him) to you?" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "The foreheads of the people of my Ummah will be shining and bright due to the traces of ablution, and this quality will not be found in anyone else. And I will also be able to recognize them by the fact that their books of deeds will be in their right hands and that their light will be running in front of them."

حضرت ابوذر رضی اللہ عنہ اور ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا قیامت کے دن دوسری امتوں میں سے اپنی امت کو پہچان لوں گا لوگوں نے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ! حضرت نوح علیہ السلام سے لے کر آپ تک جتنی امتیں آئی ہیں ان میں سے آپ اپنی امت کو کیسے پہچانیں گے؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا میری امت کے لوگوں کی پیشانیاں آثار وضو سے چمک دار اور روشن ہوں گی، یہ کیفیت کسی اور کی نہیں ہوگی اور میں اس طرح بھی انہیں شناخت کرسکوں گا کہ ان کے نامہ اعمال ان کے دائیں ہاتھ میں ہوں گے اور یہ کہ ان کا نور ان کے آگے دوڑ رہا ہوگا۔
Hazrat Abuzar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) aur Abudarda (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya qayamat ke din dusri ummaton mein se apni ummat ko pehchan lunga logon ne arz kiya Ya Rasulullah Hazrat Nuh Alaihis Salam se lekar aap tak jitni ummaten aai hain un mein se aap apni ummat ko kaise pehchanenge Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya meri ummat ke logon ki peshaniyan asar wuzu se chamkdar aur roshan hongi yeh kefiyat kisi aur ki nahin hogi aur mein is tarah bhi unhen shanakt kar sakunga ki unke nama amal unke dayen hath mein honge aur yeh ki unka noor unke aage daud raha hoga.
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “None of you should fail to leave a thousand good deeds every morning for the sake of Allah. He should say ‘SubhanAllah Wa Bihamdihi’ a hundred times, its reward is equal to a thousand good deeds, and he will not be able to commit that many sins on that day, Insha'Allah. And whatever good deeds he does besides this, they will be in addition to these.”

حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا تم میں سے کوئی شخص روزانہ صبح کے وقت اللہ کی رضا کے لئے ایک ہزار نیکیاں نہ چھوڑا کر سو مرتبہ سبحان اللہ وبحمدہ کہہ لیا کرے، اس کا ثواب ایک ہزار نیکیوں کے برابر ہے اور وہ شخص ان شاء اللہ اس دن اتنے گناہ نہیں کرسکے گا اور اس کے علاوہ جو نیکی کے کام کرے گا وہ اس سے زیادہ ہوں گے۔
Hazrat Abu Darda (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya tum mein se koi shakhs rozana subah ke waqt Allah ki raza ke liye ek hazar nekiyan na chhora kare sau martaba Subhan Allah Wa Bihamdihi keh liya kare, iska sawab ek hazar nekiyon ke barabar hai aur wo shakhs inshallah is din itne gunah nahi kar sakega aur iske ilawa jo neki ke kaam karega wo is se ziada honge.
