حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ اپنے صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہم کو یہ تعلیم دیتے تھے کہ جب وہ قبرستان جائیں تو یہ کہا کریں کہ مؤمنین ومسلمین کی جماعت والو! تم پر سلامتی ہو ہم بھی ان شاء اللہ تم سے آکرملنے والے ہیں تم ہم سے پہلے چلے گئے اور ہم تمہارے پیچھے آنے والے ہیں اور ہم اپنے اور تمہارے لئے اللہ سے عافیت کا سوال کرتے ہیں۔
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) apne Sahaba Kiram Raziallahu Anhum ko yeh taleem dete the ke jab woh qabristan jayen to yeh kaha karen ke mominoon o muslimeen ki jamat walo! Tum par salamti ho hum bhi Inshallah tumse aakar milne wale hain tum humse pehle chale gaye aur hum tumhare piche aane wale hain aur hum apne aur tumhare liye Allah se afiyat ka sawal karte hain.
It is narrated on the authority of Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say that there are five things that no one knows except Allah: knowledge of the Day of Judgment is with Allah alone, He alone sends down rain, He alone knows what is in the womb (fortunate or unfortunate), no one knows what he will earn tomorrow, and no one knows in which land he will die. Verily, Allah is aware of and knowledgeable of everything.

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ پانچ چیزیں ایسی ہیں جنہیں اللہ کے علاوہ کوئی نہیں جانتا قیامت کا علم اللہ ہی کے پاس ہے وہی بارش برساتا ہے وہی جانتا ہے کہ شکم مادر میں کیا ہے؟ (خوش نصیب یا بدنصیب) کوئی شخص نہیں جانتا کہ وہ کل کیا کمائے گا؟ کوئی شخص نہیں جانتا کہ وہ کس علاقے میں مرے گا؟ بیشک اللہ ہر چیز سے واقف اور باخبر ہے۔
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ke maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai ke panch cheezen aisi hain jinhen Allah ke ilawa koi nahi janta qayamat ka ilm Allah hi ke pass hai wohi barish barsata hai wohi janta hai ke shikam madar mein kya hai (khush naseeb ya badnaseeb) koi shaks nahi janta ke woh kal kya kamaye ga? koi shaks nahi janta ke woh kis ilaqe mein mare ga? beshak Allah har cheez se waqif aur bakhabar hai.
Narrated Buraidah (رضي الله تعالى عنه): Once, Jibril (A.S) was late in coming to the Prophet (PBUH). When he arrived, the Prophet (PBUH) asked him about the reason for the delay. Jibril (A.S) replied that we do not enter a house where there is a dog.

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ حضرت جبرائیل علیہ السلام نے نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہونے میں تاخیر کردی حاضر ہونے پر نبی کریم ﷺ نے ان سے تاخیر کی وجہ پوچھی تو عرض کیا کہ ہم اس گھر میں داخل نہیں ہوتے جہاں کتا ہو۔
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki ek martaba Hazrat Jibraeel Alaihissalam ne Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir hone mein takheer kar di Hazir hone par Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unse takheer ki wajah poochhi to arz kiya ki hum iss ghar mein dakhil nahi hote jahan kutta ho.
Buraidah Khuza'i (RA) narrated that once we asked in the court of Prophet (PBUH), "O Messenger of Allah! We have come to know how to greet you with Salam, but tell us how to send salutations (Durood) upon you?" The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said, "Say like this: O Allah! Shower Your blessings, mercy and peace upon Muhammad (PBUH) and his family, just as You showered upon the family of Ibrahim (AS). Indeed, You are praiseworthy and most high."

حضرت بریدہ خزاعی رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ ہم لوگوں نے بارگاہ نبوت میں عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ! یہ تو ہمیں معلوم ہوگیا ہے کہ آپ کو سلام کیسے کریں یہ بتائیے کہ آپ پر درود کس طرح پڑھیں؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا یوں کہا کرو اے اللہ! محمد ﷺ اور ان کی آل پر اپنی عنایات ' رحمتوں اور برکتوں کا نزول فرما جیسا کہ آل ابراہیم علیہ السلام پر نازل فرمائیں بیشک تو قابل تعریف اور بزرگی والا ہے۔ "
Hazrat Buraidah Khuzaee RA se marvi hai keh aik martaba hum logon ne bargah e nabuat mein arz kya Ya Rasulullah! yeh to humain maloom hogaya hai keh aap ko salaam kaise karein yeh bataiye keh aap par durood kis tarah parhein? Nabi Kareem SAW ne farmaya yun kaha karo Aye Allah! Muhammad SAW aur unki aal par apni inaayat', rehmaton aur barkaton ka nuzool farma jaisa keh aal e Ibrahim AS par nazil farmaein beshak tu qaabile tareef aur bazurgi wala hai.
Narrated Buraida (رضي الله تعالى عنه): When the Holy Prophet (PBUH) returned from a battle, a black woman came to His court and submitted: "O Prophet of Allah, I had vowed that if Allah brought you back safe and sound, I would celebrate your arrival by playing the tambourine." The Prophet (PBUH) said: "If you had made a vow, then fulfill it. But if you did not, then do not." So, she started playing the tambourine. In the meantime, Siddiq Akbar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) arrived, and she continued playing. Then some other people arrived, and she kept playing. A little later, Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) arrived. Seeing him, the woman hid the tambourine behind her and covered her face. Observing this, the Holy Prophet (PBUH) said, "O Umar, even Satan is afraid of you. I was sitting here, and these people came, but when you arrived, she did what she did."

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ ایک مرتبہ کسی غزوے سے واپس تشریف لائے تو ایک سیاہ فام عورت بارگاہ نبوت میں حاضر ہوئی اور عرض کیا کہ میں نے منت مانی تھی کہ اگر اللہ تعالیٰ آپ کو صحیح سلامت واپس لے آیا تو میں خوشی کے اظہار میں آپ کے پاس دف بجاؤں گی نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اگر تم نے یہ منت مانی تھی تو اپنی منت پوری کرلو اور اگر نہیں مانی تھی تو نہ کرو چنانچہ وہ دف بجانے لگی اسی دوران حضرت صدیق اکبر رضی اللہ عنہ آگئے اور وہ دف بجاتی رہی پھر کچھ اور لوگ آئے لیکن وہ بجاتی رہی تھوڑی دیر بعد حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ آئے تو اس نے اپنا دف اپنے پیچھے چھپالیا اور اپناچہرہ ڈھانپ لیا نبی کریم ﷺ نے یہ دیکھ کر فرمایا عمر! شیطان تم سے ڈرتا ہے میں بھی یہاں بیٹھا تھا اور یہ لوگ بھی آئے تھے لیکن جب تم آئے تو اس نے وہ کیا جو اس نے کیا۔
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) aik martaba kisi ghazwe se wapas tashreef laye to aik siyah faam aurat bargah e nabuyat mein hazir hui aur arz kiya keh maine mannat maani thi keh agar Allah Ta'ala aap ko sahih salamat wapas le aaya to mein khushi ke izhaar mein aap ke paas daf bajau gi. Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya agar tum ne ye mannat maani thi to apni mannat puri karlo aur agar nahi maani thi to na karo. Chunache woh daf bajane lagi. Isi dauran Hazrat Siddiq e Akbar Raziallahu Anhu aaye aur woh daf bajati rahi. Phir kuch aur log aaye lekin woh bajati rahi. Thori dair baad Hazrat Umar Raziallahu Anhu aaye to usne apna daf apne peeche chupa liya aur apna chehra dhaanp liya. Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ye dekh kar farmaya Umar! Shaitan tum se darta hai. Mein bhi yahan betha tha aur ye log bhi aaye the lekin jab tum aaye to usne woh kiya jo usne kiya.
Narrated by Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The lineage of the people of this world - that to which they are inclined - is wealth and possessions.

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا اہل دنیا کا حسب نسب " جس کی طرف وہ مائل ہوتے ہیں " یہ مال و دولت ہے۔
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya ahle dunya ka hasab nasab " jis ki taraf wo mail hote hain " ye maal o daulat hai.
It is narrated from Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), "Ali! Do not look at a non-mahram woman after the first glance, because the first glance is forgiven for you, but the second glance is not forgiven."

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ سے فرمایا علی! نامحرم عورت پر ایک مرتبہ نظر پڑجانے کے بعد دوبارہ نظر مت ڈالا کرو کیونکہ پہلی نظر تمہیں معاف ہے لیکن دوسری نظر معاف نہیں ہے۔
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Hazrat Ali Raziallahu Anhu se farmaya Ali! Namharam aurat par ek martaba nazar par jane ke bad dobara nazar mat dala karo kyunki pehli nazar tumhein maaf hai lekin dusri nazar maaf nahi hai.
Narrated Buraidah (RA): One day, the Prophet (PBUH) was walking when a man riding a donkey came and said, "O Messenger of Allah! Ride on this." and he himself moved back. The Prophet (PBUH) said, "You have more right to sit in the front of your ride, unless you permit me." He said, "I have permitted you." So the Prophet (PBUH) rode.

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک دن نبی کریم ﷺ پیدل چلے جا رہے تھے کہ ایک آدمی گدھے پر سوار آیا اور کہنے لگا یا رسول اللہ! اس پر سوار ہوجائیے اور خود پیچھے ہوگیا نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا تم اپنی سواری کے اگلے حصے پر بیٹھنے کے زیادہ حقدار ہو، الاّ یہ کہ تم مجھے اس کی اجازت دے دو اس نے کہا کہ میں نے آپ کو اجازت دے دی چنانچہ نبی کریم ﷺ سوار ہوگئے۔
Hazrat Buraidah RA se marvi hai ke ek din Nabi Kareem SAW paidal chale ja rahe the ke ek aadmi gadhe par sawar aaya aur kehne laga Ya Rasulullah! Is par sawar hojaiye aur khud peeche hogaya. Nabi Kareem SAW ne farmaya tum apni sawari ke agle hisse par bethne ke zyada haqdaar ho, ila yeh ke tum mujhe is ki ijazat de do. Usne kaha ke maine aapko ijazat de di chunancha Nabi Kareem SAW sawar hogaye.
Narrated Buraidah (رضي الله تعالى عنه): We besieged the inhabitants of Khaibar. Abu Bakr Siddique (رضي الله تعالى عنه) took hold of the flag and fought bravely, but couldn't conquer the specific, important fort, and returned. The next day, he again took hold of the flag and went to fight, but still, the fort was not conquered, and the Muslims suffered greatly on that day. Then, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, "Tomorrow, I will give this flag to a man who loves Allah and His Messenger and is loved by Allah and His Messenger, and he will not return without conquering it." We all spent the night hoping we would be given the flag. When the morning came after Fajr prayer, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) stood up and asked for the flag. The people were sitting in their rows when he called Ali (رضي الله تعالى عنه), who was suffering from eye pain. The Prophet (PBUH) applied his saliva to his eyes and gave him the flag. He conquered the fort, although I was one of those who wished to be given the flag.

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ہم لوگوں نے خیبر کا محاصرہ کیا تو حضرت صدیق اکبر رضی اللہ عنہ نے جھنڈا پکڑا لیکن وہ مخصوص اور اہم قلعہ فتح کئے بغیر واپس آگئے اگلے دن پھر جھنڈا پکڑا اور روانہ ہوگئے لیکن آج بھی وہ قلعہ فتح نہ ہوسکا اور اس دن لوگوں کو خوب مشقت اور تکلیف کا سامنا کرنا پڑا نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا کل میں یہ جھنڈا اس شخص کو دوں گا جسے اللہ اور اس کا رسول محبوب رکھتے ہوں گے اور وہ اللہ اور اس کے رسول سے محبت کرتا ہوگا اور فتح حاصل کئے بغیر واپس نہ آئے گا۔ چنانچہ ساری رات ہم اس بات پر خوش ہوتے رہے کہ کل یہ قلعہ بھی فتح ہوجائے گا جب صبح ہوئی تو نماز فجر کے بعد نبی کریم ﷺ کھڑے ہوئے اور جھنڈا منگوایا لوگ اپنی صفوں میں بیٹھے ہوئے تھے نبی کریم ﷺ نے حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ کو بلایا جنہیں آشوب چشم تھا نبی کریم ﷺ نے ان کی آنکھوں پر اپنا لعاب دہن لگایا اور جھنڈا ان کے حوالے کردیا اور ان کے ہاتھوں وہ قلعہ فتح ہوگیا حالانکہ اس کی خواہش کرنے والوں میں میں بھی تھا۔
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki hum logon ne Khaibar ka muhasira kiya to Hazrat Siddiq Akbar Raziallahu Anhu ne jhanda pakra lekin woh makhsoos aur ahm qila fatah kiye baghair wapas aagaye agle din phir jhanda pakra aur rawana hogaye lekin aaj bhi woh qila fatah na hoska aur us din logon ko khoob mushqat aur takleef ka samna karna para Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya kal main yeh jhanda us shakhs ko dun ga jise Allah aur us ka Rasool mahboob rakhte honge aur woh Allah aur us ke Rasool se mohabbat karta hoga aur fatah hasil kiye baghair wapas na aaye ga chunancha sari raat hum is baat par khush hote rahe ki kal yeh qila bhi fatah hojaaye ga jab subah hui to namaz fajr ke baad Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) kharay huye aur jhanda mangwaya log apni saffon mein baithe huye thay Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Hazrat Ali Raziallahu Anhu ko bulaya jinhen aashob chashm tha Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unki aankhon par apna laab dahen lagaya aur jhanda unke hawale kardiya aur unke hathon woh qila fatah hogaya halanki uski khwahish karne walon mein main bhi tha.
It is narrated on the authority of Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to recite Surah Ash-Shams and similar Surahs in the Isha prayer.

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نماز عشاء میں سورت الشمس اور اس جیسی سورتوں کی تلاوت فرماتے تھے۔
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Namaz Isha mein Surah Ash Shams aur is jaisi suraton ki tilawat farmate thy.
It is narrated on the authority of Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was delivering a sermon before us when Imam Hasan and Hussain (may Allah be pleased with them both) were seen walking, stumbling, wearing red shirts. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came down from the pulpit and picked them up and made them sit in front of him. Then he said, "Allah and His Messenger have spoken the truth that your wealth and your children are a trial. I saw these two children stumbling, so I could not help but interrupt my talk and pick them up.”

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ ایک مرتبہ ہمارے سامنے خطبہ دے رہے تھے کہ امام حسن اور حسین رضی اللہ عنہ سرخ رنگ کی قمیضیں پہنے ہوئے لڑکھڑاتے چلتے نظر آئے نبی کریم ﷺ منبر سے نیچے اترے اور انہیں اٹھا کر اپنے سامنے بٹھا لیا پھر فرمایا اللہ اور اس کے رسول نے سچ فرمایا کہ تمہارا مال اور تمہاری اولاد آزمائش کا سبب ہیں میں نے ان دونوں بچوں کو لڑکھڑا کر چلتے ہوئے دیکھا تو مجھ سے رہا نہ گیا اور میں نے اپنی بات درمیان میں چھوڑ کر انہیں اٹھا لیا۔
Hazrat Buraidah raziallahu anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ek martaba hamare samne khutba de rahe the ki Imam Hassan aur Hussain raziallahu anhuma surkh rang ki qameezen pehne hue ladkhadaate chalte nazar aaye Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) mimbar se neeche utre aur unhen utha kar apne samne bitha liya phir farmaya Allah aur uske rasool ne sach farmaya ki tumhara maal aur tumhari aulaad azmaish ka sabab hain maine in donon bachchon ko ladkhada kar chalte hue dekha to mujhse raha na gaya aur maine apni baat darmiyaan mein chhod kar unhen utha liya.
Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) called Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) and asked him, "Bilal, how were you ahead of me in Paradise? Whenever I entered Paradise, I would hear your footsteps ahead of me. Just last night, I entered Paradise and again heard your footsteps. Then I reached a tall and grand palace made of gold and asked the people, 'Whose palace is this?' They said, 'It belongs to an Arab man.' I said, 'I am also an Arab. Whose palace is this?' They said, 'It belongs to a Muslim man from the Ummah of Muhammad.' I said, 'Then I am Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Whose palace is this?' They said, 'It belongs to Umar ibn al-Khattab.' The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, 'Umar! If I were not mindful of your sense of honor, I would have definitely entered this palace.' Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, 'O Messenger of Allah! Would I show jealousy in front of you?' Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him), 'How were you ahead of me in Paradise?' He replied, 'Whenever I was in a state of impurity, I would perform ablution and pray two rak'ahs.' The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, 'This is the reason for it."

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے حضرت بلال رضی اللہ عنہ کو بلایا اور ان سے پوچھا بلال! تم جنت میں مجھ سے آگے کیسے تھے؟ میں جب بھی جنت میں داخل ہوا تو اپنے آگے سے تمہاری آہٹ سنی ابھی آج رات ہی میں جنت میں داخل ہوا تو تمہاری آہٹ پھر سنائی دی پھر میں سونے سے بنے ہوئے ایک بلند وبالا محل کے سامنے پہنچا اور لوگوں سے پوچھا کہ یہ محل کس کا ہے؟ انہوں نے بتایا کہ ایک عربی آدمی کا ہے میں نے کہا کہ عربی تو میں بھی ہوں یہ محل کس کا ہے؟ انہوں نے بتایا کہ امت محمدیہ کے ایک مسلمان آدمی کا ہے میں نے کہا کہ پھر میں تو خود محمد ہوں ﷺ یہ محل کس کا ہے؟ انہوں نے بتایا کہ یہ عمر بن خطاب کا ہے نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا عمر! اگر مجھے تمہاری غیرت کا خیال نہ آتا تو میں اس محل میں ضرور داخل ہوتا انہوں نے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ! کیا میں آپ کے سامنے غیرت دکھاؤں گا؟ پھر نبی کریم ﷺ نے حضرت بلال رضی اللہ عنہ سے پوچھا تم جنت میں مجھ سے آگے کیسے تھے؟ انہوں نے عرض کیا کہ میں جب بھی بےوضو ہوا تو وضو کر کے دو رکعتیں ضرور پڑھیں نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا یہی اس کا سبب ہے۔
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Hazrat Bilal Raziallahu Anhu ko bulaya aur unse poocha Bilal! tum jannat mein mujhse aage kaise the? mein jab bhi jannat mein dakhil hua to apne aage se tumhari ahat suni abhi aaj raat hi mein jannat mein dakhil hua to tumhari ahat phir sunai di phir mein sone se bane hue ek buland bala mahal ke samne pahuncha aur logon se poocha ki yeh mahal kis ka hai? unhon ne bataya ki ek Arabi aadmi ka hai mein ne kaha ki Arabi to mein bhi hun yeh mahal kis ka hai? unhon ne bataya ki ummat Mohammadiya ke ek musalman aadmi ka hai mein ne kaha ki phir mein to khud Muhammad hun (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) yeh mahal kis ka hai? unhon ne bataya ki yeh Umar bin Khattab ka hai Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya Umar! agar mujhe tumhari ghairat ka khayal na aata to mein is mahal mein zarur dakhil hota unhon ne arz kiya Ya Rasul Allah! kya mein aap ke samne ghairat dikhaunga? phir Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Hazrat Bilal Raziallahu Anhu se poocha tum jannat mein mujhse aage kaise the? unhon ne arz kiya ki mein jab bhi bewazu hua to wazoo kar ke do rakat zarur parhin Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya yahi is ka sabab hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that when Salman Farsi (may Allah be pleased with him) came to Madinah, he brought a plate of fresh dates to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and placed it before him. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked, "Salman, what is this?" He replied, "It is charity for you and your companions." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Take it back, we do not eat charity." He took it back and the next day he brought dates again in the same manner and placed them before the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) (The same question and answer were repeated and he came again on the third day). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked, "Salman! What is this?" He said, "This is a gift for you." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) then included his companions (may Allah be pleased with them all) in it. Then he saw the seal of Prophethood of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) "" which was on his blessed back "" and believed. Since he was a slave of a Jew, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) bought him for so many dirhams and on the condition that a Muslim would plant a garden and work hard in it until it bore fruit, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) planted the plants in this garden with his own blessed hands, except for one plant which was planted by Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), and in the same year the trees bore fruit except for this one tree. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked, "What is the matter with this?" Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) submitted, "O Messenger of Allah! I planted it." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) uprooted it and planted it himself, and it also began to bear fruit in the same year.

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ حضرت سلمان فارسی رضی اللہ عنہ جب مدینہ منورہ آئے تو نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں تر کھجوروں کی ایک طشتری لے کر حاضر ہوئے اور اسے نبی کریم ﷺ کے سامنے رکھ دیا نبی کریم ﷺ نے پوچھا سلمان! یہ کیا ہے؟ عرض کیا کہ آپ اور آپ کے ساتھیوں کے لئے صدقہ ہے نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اسے لے جاؤ ہم صدقہ نہیں کھاتے وہ اسے اٹھا کرلے گئے اور اگلے دن اسی طرح کھجوریں لا کر نبی کریم ﷺ کے سامنے رکھیں (وہی سوال جواب ہوئے اور وہ تیسرے دن پھر حاضر ہوئے) نبی کریم ﷺ نے پوچھا سلمان! یہ کیا ہے؟ انہوں نے عرض کیا یہ آپ کے لئے ہدیہ ہے نبی کریم ﷺ نے اپنے صحابہ رضی اللہ عنہ کو بھی اس میں شامل کرلیا۔ پھر انہوں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کی مہر نبوت "" جو پشت مبارک پر تھی "" دیکھی اور ایمان لے آئے چونکہ وہ ایک یہودی کے غلام تھے اس لئے نبی کریم ﷺ نے اتنے دراہم اور اس شرط پر انہیں خرید لیا کہ مسلمان ایک باغ لگا کر اس میں محنت کریں گے یہاں تک کہ اس میں پھل آجائے اور نبی کریم ﷺ نے اس باغ میں پودے اپنے دست مبارک سے لگائے سوائے ایک پودے کے جو حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے لگایا تھا اور اسی سال درخت پر پھل آگیا سوائے اسی ایک درخت کے نبی کریم ﷺ نے پوچھا کہ اس کا کیا ماجرا ہے؟ حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ! اسے میں نے لگایا تھا نبی کریم ﷺ نے اسے اکھیڑ کر خود لگایا تو وہ بھی ایک ہی سال میں پھل دینے لگا۔
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki Hazrat Salman Farsi Raziallahu Anhu jab Madina Munawwara aaye to Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein tar khajuron ki ek tashtari lekar hazir huye aur ise Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke samne rakh diya Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne pucha Salman yeh kya hai arz kiya ke aap aur aapke sathiyon ke liye sadqah hai Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ise le jao hum sadqah nahi khate woh ise utha kar le gaye aur agle din isi tarah khajuren la kar Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke samne rakhin wahi sawal jawab huye aur woh teesre din phir hazir huye Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne pucha Salman yeh kya hai unhon ne arz kiya yeh aapke liye hadiya hai Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne apne sahaba Raziallahu Anhum ko bhi is mein shamil kar liya phir unhon ne Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki mohar e nabuwat jo pusht e mubarak par thi dekhi aur imaan le aaye chunki woh ek yahodi ke ghulam the is liye Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne itne diram aur is shart par unhen khareed liya ki musalman ek bagh laga kar is mein mehnat karenge yahan tak ki is mein phal aa jaye aur Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne is bagh mein paude apne dast e mubarak se lagaye siwaye ek paude ke jo Hazrat Umar Raziallahu Anhu ne lagaya tha aur isi saal darakht par phal aa gaya siwaye isi ek darakht ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne pucha ke iska kya maajra hai Hazrat Umar Raziallahu Anhu ne arz kiya Ya Rasulallah ise maine lagaya tha Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ise ukhed kar khud lagaya to woh bhi ek hi saal mein phal dene laga.
Narrated by Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying that every human being has three hundred and sixty joints and it is necessary to give charity on behalf of each joint. People asked, O Messenger of Allah! Who has the power for this? The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, its way is that if you see phlegm in the mosque, put soil on it, remove the harmful thing from the way, if you cannot do all this, then two rak'ahs of Chast will suffice you.

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ ہر انسان کے تین سو ساٹھ جوڑ ہیں اور اس پر ہر جوڑ کی طرف سے صدقہ کرنا ضروری ہے لوگوں نے پوچھا یا رسول اللہ! اس کی طاقت کس میں ہے؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اس کا طریقہ یہ ہے کہ اگر مسجد میں تھوک نظر آئے تو اس پر مٹی ڈال دو راستے میں تکلیف دہ چیز کو ہٹا دو اگر یہ سب نہ کرسکو تو چاشت کے وقت دو رکعتیں تمہاری طرف سے کفایت کر جائیں گی۔
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai keh maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko yeh farmate huye suna hai keh har insan ke teen sau saath jod hain aur is par har jod ki taraf se sadqah karna zaroori hai logon ne poocha Ya Rasulullah! Is ki taqat kis mein hai? Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya is ka tareeqa yeh hai keh agar masjid mein thook nazar aaye to is par mitti daal do raaste mein takleef deh cheez ko hata do agar yeh sab na karsako to chasht ke waqt do rakaten tumhari taraf se kafaayat kar jayen gi.
Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that I heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying, "Use this black seed regularly, because it is a cure."

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ اس کلونجی کو اپنے اوپر لازم کرلو کیونکہ اس میں شفاء ہے۔
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko yeh farmate huye suna hai ki is kalonji ko apne upar lazim karlo kyunki is mein shifa hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Spending something on the journey of Hajj is like spending seven hundred times more in the battlefield of Jihad."

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا سفر حج میں کچھ خرچ کرنا ایسا ہے جیسے میدان جہاد میں سات سو گنا خرچ کرنا۔
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya safar Hajj mein kuch kharch karna aisa hai jaise maidan jihad mein saat sau guna kharch karna.
It is narrated on the authority of Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performed the Aqiqah of Hasan and Hussain (may Allah be pleased with them both).

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے حضرات حسنین رضی اللہ عنہ کی جانب سے عقیقہ فرمایا تھا۔
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne hazrat-e-hasnain Raziallahu Anhuma ki jaanib se aqiqah farmaya tha.
It is narrated on the authority of Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: There will be one hundred and twenty rows of the people of Paradise, eighty of which will be only from this Ummah (Muslim nation).

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا اہل جنت کی ایک سو بیس صفیں ہوں گی جن میں اسی صفیں صرف اس امت کی ہوں گی۔
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya ahl jannat ki ek sau bees safein hongi jin mein assi safein sirf is ummat ki hongi.
It is narrated on the authority of Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once we were with the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). We reached a place and camped there. At that time, we were about a thousand horsemen. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) offered two rak'ahs of prayer and turned towards us, his eyes filled with tears. Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) stood up and asked, sacrificing his parents, "O Messenger of Allah! What is the matter?" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "I sought permission from my Lord to pray for forgiveness for my mother, but I was not granted permission. So, out of compassion, tears welled up in my eyes. And I had forbidden you from three things: visiting graveyards, but now you may go so that you may be reminded of the Hereafter. I had forbidden you from eating the meat of the sacrifice after three days, but now eat it and keep it as long as you wish. And I had forbidden you from drinking in certain utensils, but now you may drink in any utensil you like, except for intoxicants."

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ ہم لوگ نبی کریم ﷺ کے ہمراہ تھے ایک جگہ پہنچ کر پڑاؤ کیا اس وقت ہم لوگ ایک ہزار کے قریب شہسوار تھے نبی کریم ﷺ نے دو رکعتیں پڑھیں اور ہماری طرف رخ کر کے متوجہ ہوئے تو آنکھیں آنسوؤں سے بھیگی ہوئی تھیں حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے کھڑے ہو کر اپنے ماں باپ کو قربان کرتے ہوئے پوچھا یا رسول اللہ! کیا بات ہے؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا میں نے اپنے رب سے اپنی والدہ کے لئے بخشش کی دعاء کرنے کی اجازت مانگی تھی، لیکن مجھے اجازت نہیں ملی تو شفقت کی وجہ سے میری آنکھوں میں آنسو آگئے اور میں نے تمہیں تین چیزوں سے منع کیا تھا، قبرستان جانے سے لیکن اب چلے جایا کرو تاکہ تمہیں آخرت کی یاد آئے میں نے تمہیں تین دن کے بعد قربانی کا گوشت کھانے سے منع کیا تھا اب اسے کھاؤ اور جب تک چاہو رکھو اور میں نے تمہیں مخصوص برتنوں میں پینے سے منع فرمایا تھا اب جس برتن میں چاہو پی سکتے ہو البتہ نشہ آور چیز مت پینا۔
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki ek martaba hum log Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke humrah thay ek jagah pohanch kar padav kiya us waqt hum log ek hazaar ke kareeb sipahi thay Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne do rakat namaz parhi aur hamari taraf rukh kar ke mutawajjah huye to aankhen aansuon se bhigi hui thin Hazrat Umar Raziallahu Anhu ne kharay ho kar apne maan baap ko qurban karte huye poocha Ya Rasulullah kya baat hai Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya main ne apne Rab se apni walida ke liye bakhshish ki dua karne ki ijazat mangi thi lekin mujhe ijazat nahin mili to shafqat ki wajah se meri aankhon mein aansoo agaye aur main ne tumhen teen cheezon se mana kiya tha qabristan jaane se lekin ab chale jaya karo taake tumhen aakhirat ki yaad aaye main ne tumhen teen din ke baad qurbani ka gosht khane se mana kiya tha ab isay khao aur jab tak chaho rakho aur main ne tumhen makhsoos bartan mein peene se mana farmaya tha ab jis bartan mein chaho pee sakte ho albatta nasha awar cheez mat peena.
Narrated by Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "The sanctity of the wives of the Mujahideen (warriors in the path of Allah) is like the sanctity of their mothers to those who stay behind from Jihad. If any of those who stay behind is entrusted with the family of a Mujahid and he betrays him, then on the Day of Judgment he will be made to stand before that Mujahid, and he (the Mujahid) will take whatever good deeds he wishes from him. Now, what do you think?"

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا مجاہدین کی عورتوں کی حرمت انتظار جہاد میں بیٹھنے والوں پر ان کی ماؤں جیسی ہے اگر ان بیٹھنے والوں میں سے کوئی شخص کسی مجاہد کے پیچھے اس کے اہل خانہ کا ذمہ دار بنے اور اس میں خیانت کرے تو اسے قیامت کے دن اس مجاہد کے سامنے کھڑا کیا جائے گا اور وہ اس کے اعمال میں سے جو چاہے گا لے لے گا اب تمہارا کیا خیال ہے؟
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya mujahidin ki auraton ki hurmat intezar jihad mein bethne walon par unki maon jaisi hai agar un bethne walon mein se koi shakhs kisi mujahid ke peeche uske ahl e khana ka zimma daar bane aur us mein khiyanat kare to use qayamat ke din us mujahid ke samne khada kiya jayega aur wo uske amal mein se jo chahega le lega ab tumhara kya khayal hai
Narrated Buraidah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that the Prophet (PBUH) said, "I had forbidden you from three things, visiting graves but now you may go as it will remind you of the hereafter. I had forbidden you from eating the meat of sacrifice after three days but now eat it and keep it as long as you wish. And I had forbidden you from drinking in specific utensils, now you may drink in whichever utensils you like, but do not drink intoxicants."

Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai keh keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya mein ne tumhein teen cheezon se mana kiya tha, qabristan jaane se lekin ab chale jaya karo taake tumhein aakhirat ki yaad aaye mein ne tumhein teen din ke baad qurbani ka gosht khane se mana kiya tha ab ise khao aur jab tak chaho rakho aur mein ne tumhein makhsoos bartan mein peene se mana farmaya tha ab jis bartan mein chaho pee sakte ho albatta nasha aawar cheez mat peena.
Narrated by Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, whoever swears that he is free from Islam, if he is lying then he will become as he said, and if he is truthful, then he will never return to Islam safe and sound.

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا جو شخص اس بات کی قسم کھائے کہ وہ اسلام سے بری ہے اگر وہ جھوٹی قسم کھا رہا ہو تو وہ ایسا ہی ہوگا جیسے اس نے کہا اور اگر وہ سچا ہو تو پھر وہ اسلام کی طرف کبھی بھی صحیح سالم واپس نہیں آئے گا۔
Hazrat Buraidah raziallahu anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya jo shakhs is baat ki qasam khaye ki woh Islam se bari hai agar woh jhooti qasam kha raha ho to woh aisa hi hoga jaise usne kaha aur agar woh sacha ho to phir woh Islam ki taraf kabhi bhi sahih salam wapas nahi aaye ga.
It was narrated from Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The thing that distinguishes between us and the polytheists is prayer, so whoever abandons prayer commits disbelief."

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا ہمارے اور مشرکین کے درمیان فرق کرنے والی چیز نماز ہے لہٰذا جو شخص نماز چھوڑ دیتا ہے وہ کفر کرتا ہے۔
Hazrat Buraidah raziallahu anhu se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya humare aur mushrikeen ke darmiyan farq karne wali cheez namaz hai lihaza jo shakhs namaz chhor deta hai woh kufr karta hai.
Narrated Buraidah (رضي الله تعالى عنه), once Muaz bin Jabal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) led the Isha prayer and recited Surah Al-Qamar in its entirety. A man got up before the prayer ended and left to pray alone. Muaz (رضي الله تعالى عنه) spoke harshly about him. The man came to the Prophet (PBUH) and said, "I work in the gardens and I was afraid of my water running out." The Prophet (PBUH) said, "O Muaz, recite Surah Ash-Shams and similar Surahs in prayer."

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ حضرت معاذ بن جبل رضی اللہ عنہ نے لوگوں کو نماز عشاء پڑھائی تو اس میں سورت قمر پوری تلاوت کی ایک آدمی ان کی نماز ختم ہونے سے پہلے اٹھا اور اپنی نماز تنہا پڑھ کر واپس چلا گیا حضرت معاذ رضی اللہ عنہ نے اس کے متعلق سخت باتیں کہیں وہ آدمی نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا اور عرض کیا کہ میں باغات میں کام کرتا ہوں اور مجھے پانی ختم ہوجانے کا اندیشہ تھا نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا (اے معاذ) سورت الشمس اور اس جیسی سورتیں نماز میں پڑھا کرو۔
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki ek martaba Hazrat Muaz bin Jabal Raziallahu Anhu ne logon ko namaz Isha padhai to usme Surah Qamar puri tilawat ki ek aadmi unki namaz khatam hone se pehle utha aur apni namaz tanha padh kar wapas chala gaya Hazrat Muaz Raziallahu Anhu ne uske mutalliq sakht baatein kahein wo aadmi Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir hua aur arz kiya ke mein baaghat mein kaam karta hun aur mujhe pani khatam hojane ka andesha tha Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya (ae Muaz) Surah Shams aur is jaisi surtein namaz mein padha karo.
It is narrated on the authority of Buraida (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the occasion of the Battle of Khyber, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave the standard (flag) to Ali (may Allah be pleased with him).

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ غزوہ خیبر کے موقع پر نبی کریم ﷺ نے جھنڈا حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ کو دیا تھا۔
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ke Ghazwa Khaibar ke mauke par Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne jhanda Hazrat Ali Raziallahu Anhu ko diya tha.
Narrated by Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Whoever swears by saying that he is free from Islam, then if he is lying, he will become as he said, and if he is truthful, then he will never return to Islam safely."

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا جو شخص اس بات کی قسم کھائے کہ وہ اسلام سے بری ہے اگر وہ جھوٹی قسم کھا رہا ہو تو وہ ایسا ہی ہوگا جیسے اس نے کہا اور اگر وہ سچا ہو تو پھر وہ اسلام کی طرف کبھی بھی صحیح سالم واپس نہیں آئے گا۔

Narrated by Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) returned from a battle, a black woman came to his court and said, "I had pledged that if Allah Almighty brought you back safe and sound, I would play the tambourine in your presence in expression of my joy." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "If you had made this vow, then fulfill it, and if you had not made it, then don't." So she started playing the tambourine.

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ایک مرتبہ کسی غزوے سے واپس تشریف لائے تو ایک سیاہ فام عورت بارگاہ نبوت میں حاضر ہوئی اور عرض کیا کہ میں نے یہ منت مانی تھی کہ اگر اللہ تعالیٰ آپ کو صحیح سلامت واپس لے آیا تو میں خوشی کے اظہار میں آپ کے پاس دف بجاؤں گی نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اگر تم نے یہ منت مانی تھی تو اپنی منت پوری کرلو اور اگر نہیں مانی تھی تو نہ کرو چناچہ وہ دف بجانے لگی۔
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ek martaba kisi ghazwe se wapas tashreef laaye to ek siyah faam aurat bargah e nabuyat mein hazir hui aur arz kiya keh maine ye mannat maani thi keh agar Allah Ta'ala aap ko sahih salamat wapas le aaya to main khushi ke izhaar mein aap ke pass daff bajau gi. Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya agar tum ne ye mannat maani thi to apni mannat puri karlo aur agar nahi maani thi to na karo chunacha woh daff bajane lagi.
It is narrated on the authority of Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sent two detachments towards Yemen. He appointed Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) as the commander of one and Khalid bin Walid (may Allah be pleased with him) as the commander of the other, saying, "When you are together, Ali will be the commander of all, and when you are separated, each one will be the commander of his own detachment." So we met Banu Zaid from among the people of Yemen. We fought them, and the Muslims prevailed over the polytheists. We killed the fighters and captured the children. Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) chose a captive woman for himself.
Seeing this, Khalid bin Walid (may Allah be pleased with him) wrote a letter to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) informing him of this and sent it to him through me. I presented myself in the court of the Prophet and presented the letter. The letter was read aloud to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). I saw signs of anger on the blessed face of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). I said, "O Messenger of Allah! I seek refuge in Allah. You sent me with a man and ordered me to obey him. I have acted upon this message." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Do not misunderstand Ali. He is from me and I am from him, and he is your beloved after me." (He said this twice).

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے یمن کی طرف دو دستے روانہ فرمائے جن میں سے ایک پر حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ کو اور دوسرے پر حضرت خالد بن ولید رضی اللہ عنہ کو امیر مقرر کرتے ہوئے فرمایا جب تم لوگ اکٹھے ہو تو علی سب کے امیر ہوں گے اور جب جدا ہو تو ہر ایک اپنے دستے کا امیر ہوگا چناچہ ہماری ملاقات اہل یمن میں سے بنو زید سے ہوئی ہم نے ان سے قتال کیا تو مسلمان مشرکین پر غالب آگئے ہم نے لڑنے والوں کو قتل اور بچوں کو قید کرلیا حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ نے ان میں سے ایک قیدی عورت اپنے لئے منتخب کرلی۔
حضرت خالد بن ولید رضی اللہ عنہ نے یہ دیکھ کر نبی کریم کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں ایک خط لکھا جس میں انہیں اس سے مطلع کیا گیا تھا اور وہ خط مجھے دے کر بھیج دیا میں بارگاہ نبوت میں حاضر ہوا اور خط پیش کیا نبی کریم ﷺ کو وہ خط پڑھ کر سنایا گیا میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کے روئے انور پر غصے کے آثار دیکھے میں نے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ! میں اللہ کی پناہ میں آتا ہوں آپ نے مجھے ایک آدمی کے ساتھ بھیجا تھا اور مجھے اس کی اطاعت کا حکم دیا تھا میں نے اس پیغام پر عمل کیا ہے نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا تم علی کے متعلق کسی غلط فہمی میں نہ پڑنا وہ مجھ سے ہے اور میں اس سے ہوں اور وہ میرے بعد تمہارا محبوب ہے (یہ جملہ دو مرتبہ فرمایا)

Hazrat Khalid bin Waleed raziallahu anhu ne ye dekh kar Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein ek khat likha jis mein unhen is se muttala kiya gaya tha aur wo khat mujhe de kar bhej diya mein bargah e nabuwwat mein hazir hua aur khat pesh kiya Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko wo khat padh kar sunaya gaya maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke roohe anwar par ghusse ke asar dekhe maine arz kiya Ya Rasulullah mein Allah ki panaah mein aata hun aap ne mujhe ek aadmi ke sath bheja tha aur mujhe us ki itaat ka hukm diya tha maine is paigham par amal kiya hai Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya tum Ali ke mutalliq kisi ghalat fehmi mein na parhna wo mujh se hai aur mein us se hun aur wo mere baad tumhara mahboob hai (ye jumla do martaba farmaya).
Narrated by Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Whoever recites morning and evening these words: 'O Allah, You are my Lord, there is no deity worthy of worship but You, You created me and I am Your servant, and I stand by my covenant and my promise to You as much as I am able. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done, I acknowledge Your favor upon me, and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for surely none can forgive sins but You.' If he were to die on that day or night, he would enter Paradise."

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا جو شخص صبح شام کے وقت یوں کہہ لیا کرے کہ اے اللہ تو ہی میرا رب ہے تیرے علاوہ کوئی معبود نہیں تو نے ہی مجھے پیدا کیا میں تیرا بندہ ہوں اور جہاں تک ممکن ہو تجھ سے کئے گئے عہد اور وعدے پر قائم ہوں میں اپنے گناہوں کے شر سے تیری پناہ میں آتا ہوں اپنے اوپر تیرے احسانات کا اعتراف کرتا ہوں اور اپنے گناہوں کا بھی اقرار کرتا ہوں پس تو میرے گناہوں کو معاف فرما کیونکہ تیرے علاوہ کوئی بھی گناہوں کو معاف نہیں کرسکتا اور اس دن یا رات کو مرگیا تو جنت میں داخل ہوگا۔
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya jo shakhs subah sham ke waqt yun keh liya kare keh aye Allah tu hi mera Rab hai tere alawa koi mabood nahin tu ne hi mujhe paida kiya mein tera banda hun aur jahan tak mumkin ho tujh se kiye gaye ahd aur wade per qaem hun mein apne gunahon ke shar se teri panah mein aata hun apne upar tere ehsaanat ka aitraf karta hun aur apne gunahon ka bhi iqrar karta hun pas tu mere gunahon ko maaf farma kyunkeh tere alawa koi bhi gunahon ko maaf nahin kar sakta aur is din ya raat ko mar gaya to jannat mein dakhil hoga.
The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Allah has commanded me to love four of my Companions: Ali, Abu Dharr al-Ghifari, Salman al-Farsi, and Miqdad ibn Aswad al-Kindi.”

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا اللہ تعالیٰ نے میرے صحابہ رضی اللہ عنہ میں سے چار لوگوں سے محبت کرنے کا مجھے حکم دیا ہے ان میں سے ایک تو علی ہیں دوسرے ابوذر غفاری تیسرے سلمان فارسی اور چوتھے مقداد بن اسود کندی ہیں۔ رضی اللہ عنہ
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya Allah Ta'ala ne mere Sahaba Raziallahu Anhum mein se chaar logon se muhabbat karne ka mujhe hukum diya hai in mein se ek to Ali hain dusre Abuzar Ghaffari teesre Salman Farsi aur chauthe Miqdad bin Aswad Kandi hain Raziallahu Anhum.
Narrated Buraidah Aslami (RA): The Prophet (PBUH) said, “I forbade you from visiting graves, but (now) you may visit them. And I forbade you from eating the meat of sacrifice for more than three days, but now you may eat it as long as you wish. And I forbade you from drinking Nabidh except in leather vessels, but now you may drink it out of any vessel you like, but do not drink anything intoxicating.”

حضرت بریدہ اسلمی رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا میں نے تمہیں قبرستان جانے سے منع کیا تھا اب چلے جایا کرو نیز میں نے تمہیں تین دن سے زیادہ قربانی کا گوشت رکھنے کی ممانعت کی تھی اب جب تک چاہو رکھو نیز میں نے تمہیں مشکیزے کے علاوہ دوسرے برتنوں میں نبیذ پینے سے منع کیا تھا اب جس برتن میں چاہو پی سکتے ہو البتہ نشہ آور چیز مت پینا۔
Hazrat Buraidah Aslami Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya mein ne tumhein qabristan jaane se mana kiya tha ab chale jaya karo neez mein ne tumhein teen din se ziada qurbani ka gosht rakhne ki mamanat ki thi ab jab tak chaho rakho neez mein ne tumhein mashkize ke ilawa doosre bartan mein nabiz peene se mana kiya tha ab jis bartan mein chaho pee sakte ho albatta nasha awar cheez mat peena.
Narrated by Buraidah Aslami (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: I had forbidden you from visiting graveyards, but now you may visit them. I had also forbidden you from keeping the meat of sacrifice for more than three days, but now you may keep it as long as you wish. And I had forbidden you from drinking alcoholic beverages in vessels other than those made of pumpkins, but now you may drink in whichever vessel you like; however, do not consume anything intoxicating.

حضرت بریدہ اسلمی رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا میں نے تمہیں قبرستان جانے سے منع کیا تھا اب چلے جایا کرو نیز میں نے تمہیں تین دن سے زیادہ قربانی کا گوشت رکھنے کی ممانعت کی تھی اب جب تک چاہو رکھو نیز میں نے تمہیں مشکیزے کے علاوہ دوسرے برتنوں میں نبیذ پینے سے منع کیا تھا اب جس برتن میں چاہو پی سکتے ہو البتہ نشہ آور چیز مت پینا۔

Narrated by Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him): Once we were with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and we stopped at a place. At that time we were about a thousand horsemen. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayed two rak'ahs and turned towards us, his eyes filled with tears. Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) stood up and asked, sacrificing his father and mother, "O Messenger of Allah! What is the matter?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "I asked my Lord for permission to pray for forgiveness for my mother, but I was not allowed. So, out of compassion, tears came to my eyes." And I had forbidden you three things: visiting graves, but now you may go so that you may be reminded of the Hereafter; I had forbidden you to eat the meat of the sacrifice after three days, now eat it and keep it as long as you wish; and I had forbidden you to drink from specific vessels, now you may drink from any vessel you like, but do not drink intoxicants.

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ ہم لوگ نبی کریم ﷺ کے ہمراہ تھے ایک جگہ پہنچ کر پڑاؤ کیا اس وقت ہم لوگ ایک ہزار کے قریب شہسوار تھے نبی کریم ﷺ نے دو رکعتیں پڑھیں اور ہماری طرف رخ کر کے متوجہ ہوئے تو آنکھیں آنسوؤں سے بھیگی ہوئی تھیں حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے کھڑے ہو کر اپنے ماں باپ کو قربان کرتے ہوئے پوچھا یا رسول اللہ! کیا بات ہے؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا میں نے اپنے رب سے اپنی والدہ کے لئے بخشش کی دعاء کرنے کی اجازت مانگی تھی، لیکن مجھے اجازت نہیں ملی تو شفقت کی وجہ سے میری آنکھوں میں آنسو آگئے اور میں نے تمہیں تین چیزوں سے منع کیا تھا، قبرستان جانے سے لیکن اب چلے جایا کرو تاکہ تمہیں آخرت کی یاد آئے میں نے تمہیں تین دن کے بعد قربانی کا گوشت کھانے سے منع کیا تھا اب اسے کھاؤ اور جب تک چاہو رکھو اور میں نے تمہیں مخصوص برتنوں میں پینے سے منع فرمایا تھا اب جس برتن میں چاہو پی سکتے ہو البتہ نشہ آور چیز مت پینا۔
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki ek martaba hum log Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke humrah thay ek jagah pohanch kar padav kiya us waqt hum log ek hazaar ke qareeb sawaar thay Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne do rakaat padhen aur humari taraf rukh kar ke mutawajjah huye to aankhen aansuon se bhigi hui thin Hazrat Umar Raziallahu Anhu ne khade ho kar apne maan baap ko qurban karte huye poocha Ya Rasulullah kya baat hai Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya main ne apne Rab se apni walida ke liye bakhshish ki dua karne ki ijazat maangi thi lekin mujhe ijazat nahin mili to shafqat ki wajah se meri aankhon mein aansu aa gaye aur main ne tumhen teen cheezon se mana kiya tha qabristan jaane se lekin ab chale jaya karo taake tumhen aakhirat ki yaad aaye main ne tumhen teen din ke baad qurbani ka gosht khane se mana kiya tha ab ise khao aur jab tak chaho rakho aur main ne tumhen makhsus bartan mein peene se mana farmaya tha ab jis bartan mein chaho pee sakte ho albatta nasha awar cheez mat peena.
Narrated Buraidah (رضي الله تعالى عنه): I heard the Holy Prophet (PBUH) saying, "Soon after me many armies will be dispatched. You should join the army which will proceed towards Khorasan and encamp in a city called "Marw" because Zulqarnain (A.S) founded it and invoked blessings upon it. Therefore its inhabitants shall not be harmed.

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ عنقریب میرے بعد بہت سے لشکر روانہ ہوں گے تم خراسان کی طرف جانے والے لشکر میں شامل ہوجانا اور " مرو " نامی شہر میں پڑاؤ ڈالنا کیونکہ اسے ذوالقرنین نے بنایا تھا اور اس میں برکت کی دعا کی تھی اس لئے وہاں رہنے والوں کو کوئی نقصان نہیں پہنچے گا۔
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ke maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai ke anqareeb mere baad bohat se lashkar rawana honge tum khorasan ki taraf jane wale lashkar mein shamil hojana aur "Marv" nami shehar mein padav dalna kyunki usay Zulqarnain ne banaya tha aur us mein barkat ki dua ki thi is liye wahan rehne walon ko koi nuqsan nahi pahunche ga.
It is narrated on the authority of Buraidah Radi Allahu Anhu that the Holy Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, "The Witr prayer is right, and whoever does not pray Witr is not one of us." He (the Holy Prophet) said this thrice.

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا وتر کی نماز برحق ہے اور جو شخص وتر نہ پڑھے وہ ہم میں سے نہیں ہے تین مرتبہ فرمایا۔
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya Witr ki namaz barhaq hai aur jo shakhs Witr na parhe woh hum mein se nahi hai teen martaba farmaya.
Narrated by Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Those who accept Islam will retain ownership of the lands, animals, and slaves they possess, and nothing will be obligatory upon them except for Zakat."

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا جن زمینوں، جانوروں اور غلاموں کی ملکیت پر وہ اسلام قبول کریں ان پر ان کی ملکیت برقرار رہے گی اور اس میں ان پر زکوٰۃ کے علاوہ کوئی چیز واجب نہ ہوگی۔
Hazrat Buraidah raza Allahu anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya jin zameenon, janwaron aur ghulamon ki malkiyat par woh Islam qubool karen un par unki malkiyat barqarar rahegi aur is mein un par zakat ke alawa koi cheez wajib na hogi.
It is narrated on the authority of Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Do not look at a non-mahram woman after the first unintentional glance, because the first glance is forgiven but not the second.”
Grade: Hasan
حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا نامحرم عورت پر ایک مرتبہ نظر پڑجانے کے بعد دوبارہ نظر مت ڈالا کرو کیونکہ پہلی نظر تمہیں معاف ہے لیکن دوسری نظر معاف نہیں ہے۔
Hazrat Buraidah raziallahu anhu se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya na mehram aurat par ek martaba nazar par jane ke baad dobara nazar mat dala karo kyunki pehli nazar tumhein maaf hai lekin dusri nazar maaf nahi hai.
It was narrated from Buraidah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: "The death of a Muslim man comes as easily as beads of sweat on his forehead."

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا مسلمان آدمی کی موت پیشانی کے پسینے کی طرح (بڑی آسانی سے) واقع ہوجاتی ہے۔
Hazrat Buraidah razi Allah anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya Musalman aadmi ki maut peshani ke paseene ki tarah (bari aasani se) waqay hojati hai.
Narrated by Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) took me to a place in the villages near Makkah, which was a dry land and there was sand around it. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The Dajjal will emerge from here, it was a place one handspan wide and one inch long.

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ مجھے مکہ مکرمہ کے قریب دیہات کے ایک مقام پر لے گئے جو ایک خشک زمین تھی اور اس کے گرد ریت تھی نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا دابۃ الارض کا خروج یہاں سے ہوگا وہ ایک بالشت چوڑی اور ایک انچ لمبی جگہ تھی۔
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki aik martaba Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) mujhe Makkah Mukarramah ke qareeb dihat ke aik maqam par le gaye jo aik khushk zameen thi aur iske gird ret thi Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya Dabatul Ard ka khurooj yahan se hoga woh aik baalish chaudi aur aik inch lambi jaga thi.
Abdullah bin Mula said: One day I was going to Ahwaz when I saw a man riding an animal ahead of me and he was saying: “O Allah, my time has passed from this Ummah, so include me among them.” I said: “Include me in your supplication.” He said: “And my companion too, if he wishes.” Then he said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “The best of my Ummah are those of my time, then those who come after them.” (He mentioned the third time, or I don't remember). Then he said: “After them will come people in whom obesity will be dominant, and they will be ready to bear witness without being asked.”

عبداللہ بن مولہ کہتے کہ ایک دن میں " اہواز " میں چلا جا رہا تھا کہ ایک آدمی پر نظر پڑی جو مجھ سے آگے ایک خچر پر سوار چلا جا رہا تھا اور کہہ رہا تھا کہ اے اللہ! اس امت میں سے میرا دور گذر گیا ہے تو مجھے ان ہی میں شامل فرما میں نے کہا کہ مجھے بھی اپنی دعاء میں شامل کرلیجئے انہوں نے کہا کہ میرے ساتھی کو بھی اگر یہ چاہتا ہے پھر کہا کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا ہے میرے سب سے بہترین امتی میرے دور کے ہیں پھر ان کے بعد والے ہوں گے (تیسری مرتبہ کا ذکر کیا یا نہیں مجھے یاد نہیں) ان کے بعد ایسے لوگ آئیں گے جن میں موٹاپا غالب آجائے گا وہ مطالبہ کے بغیر گواہی دینے کے لئے تیار ہوں گے۔
Abdullah bin Moola kehte hain ki aik din main "Ahwaz" mein chala ja raha tha ki aik aadmi par nazar pari jo mujh se aage aik khachar par sawar chala ja raha tha aur keh raha tha ki aye Allah! Is ummat mein se mera daur guzar gaya hai to mujhe in hi mein shamil farma maine kaha ki mujhe bhi apni dua mein shamil kar lijiye unhon ne kaha ki mere saathi ko bhi agar ye chahta hai phir kaha ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya hai mere sab se behtarin ummati mere daur ke hain phir un ke baad wale honge (teesri martaba ka zikar kiya ya nahin mujhe yaad nahin) un ke baad aise log aayenge jin mein motapa ghalib aa jayega wo mutalba ke baghair gawahi dene ke liye tayyar honge.
It was narrated from Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever plays with twelve pieces is like one who dips his hand in the blood and flesh of a pig.”

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا جو شخص بارہ ٹانی کے ساتھ کھیلتا ہے وہ گویا اپنے ہاتھ خنزیر کے خون اور گوشت میں ڈبو دیتا ہے۔
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya jo shakhs barah taani ke sath khelta hai wo goya apne hath khazner ke khoon aur gosht mein dubo deta hai.
Abu Malih said: Once we were with Buraidah (May Allah be pleased with him) on an expedition. The sky was overcast that day. He said, "Offer the prayer quickly. Verily, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, 'A person who misses the 'Asr prayer, his good deeds are ruined.'"

ابوملیح کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ ہم حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے ساتھ کسی غزوہ میں شریک تھے اس دن ابر چھایا ہوا تھا انہوں نے فرمایا جلدی نماز پڑھ لو کیونکہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا ہے کہ جو شخص عصر کی نماز چھوڑ دے اس کے سارے اعمال ضائع ہوجاتے ہیں۔
Abu Malih kehte hain ki ek martaba hum Hazrat Buraidah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke sath kisi ghazwa mein shareek the us din abr chhaya hua tha unhon ne farmaya jaldi namaz parh lo kyunki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya hai ki jo shakhs Asr ki namaz chhor de uske sare amal zaya hojate hain.
Narrated by Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to him, "Go, for the one who guides to good is like the one who does it."

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک آدمی نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا تو نبی کریم ﷺ نے اس سے فرمایا جاؤ کہ نیکی کی طرف رہنمائی کرنے والا نیکی کرنے والے کی طرح ہوتا ہے۔
Hazrat Buraidah raziallahu anhu se marvi hai ki ek aadmi Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir hua to Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne us se farmaya jao ki neki ki taraf rahnumai karne wala neki karne wale ki tarah hota hai.
Narrated by Buraidah (رضي الله تعالى عنه), that once he passed by a gathering where people were talking about Ali (رضي الله تعالى عنه). He stood by them and said, "Initially, I had some reservations about Ali (رضي الله تعالى عنه) in my heart. Khalid bin Waleed (رضي الله تعالى عنه) was also in the same situation. Once, the Prophet (PBUH) sent me with a detachment under the leadership of Ali (رضي الله تعالى عنه). We captured some prisoners there. Ali (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kept a slave girl for himself from the Khums (one-fifth of the spoils of war). Khalid bin Waleed (رضي الله تعالى عنه) said, 'Wait.' Then, when we were in the presence of the Prophet (PBUH), I started narrating the incident and said that Ali had taken a slave girl from the Khums. I had kept my head down at that time. Suddenly, I looked up and saw that the Prophet's (PBUH) face was changing color. The Prophet (PBUH) said, 'Whoever loves me should also love Ali.'"

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ وہ کسی ایسی مجلس سے گذرے جہاں پر لوگ حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ کے متعلق کچھ باتیں کر رہے ہیں وہ ان کے پاس کھڑے ہو کر کہنے لگے کہ ابتداء میں میرے دل میں حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ کے متعلق بوجھ تھا حضرت خالد بن ولید رضی اللہ عنہ کی بھی یہی صورت حال تھی نبی کریم ﷺ نے ایک مرتبہ مجھے ایک دستے کے ساتھ روانہ کردیا جس کے امیر حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ تھے ہمیں وہاں قیدی ہاتھ لگے حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ نے خمس میں سے ایک باندی اپنے لئے رکھ لی حضرت خالد بن ولید رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا ٹھہرو، پھر جب ہم نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے تو میں پیش آمدہ واقعہ بیان کرنے لگا اور کہا کہ علی نے خمس میں سے باندی لی ہے میں نے اس وقت سر جھکا رکھا تھا اچانک سر اٹھا کر دیکھا تو نبی کریم ﷺ کا رخ انور متغیر ہو رہا تھا نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا جس کا میں محبوب ہوں علی بھی اس کے محبوب ہونے چاہئیں۔
Hazrat Buraidah raziallahu anhu se marvi hai ki ek martaba woh kisi aisi majlis se guzre jahan per log Hazrat Ali raziallahu anhu ke mutalliq kuch baatein kar rahe hain woh unke paas kharay hokar kehne lage ki ibtida mein mere dil mein Hazrat Ali raziallahu anhu ke mutalliq boojh tha Hazrat Khalid bin Waleed raziallahu anhu ki bhi yehi surat-e-haal thi Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ek martaba mujhe ek daste ke sath rawana kar diya jiske ameer Hazrat Ali raziallahu anhu thay humain wahan qaidee haath lage Hazrat Ali raziallahu anhu ne khums mein se ek bandi apne liye rakh li Hazrat Khalid bin Waleed raziallahu anhu ne farmaya thehro phir jab hum Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir huye to mein pesh aamada waqea bayan karne laga aur kaha ki Ali ne khums mein se bandi li hai maine us waqt sar jhuka rakha tha achanak sar utha kar dekha to Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ka rukh anwar mutagaiyyer ho raha tha Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya jiska mein mehboob hun Ali bhi uske mehboob hone chahiyen.
It is narrated on the authority of Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the day of the conquest of Makkah, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) offered several prayers with one ablution. Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) submitted: "Today you have done a thing which you never did before." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied: "I did it intentionally."

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ فتح مکہ کے دن نبی کریم ﷺ نے ایک ہی وضو سے کئی نمازیں پڑھیں تو حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے عرض کیا کہ آج تو آپ نے وہ کام کیا ہے جو پہلے کبھی نہیں کیا؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا میں نے جان بوجھ کر ایسا کیا ہے۔
Hazrat Buraidah raziallahu anhu se marvi hai ki Fath Makkah ke din Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ek hi wuzu se kai namazain parhin to Hazrat Umar raziallahu anhu ne arz kiya ki aaj to aap ne woh kaam kiya hai jo pehle kabhi nahin kiya? Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya maine jaan boojh kar aisa kiya hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that whenever the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would appoint a man as the commander of a detachment or army and send him off, he would especially advise him to fear Allah and to treat the Muslims with him in the best manner. He would then say: "Fight in the cause of Allah, in the name of Allah, against those who disbelieve in Him. And when you meet your enemy, then invite them to one of these three courses of action, and whichever of these they accept, agree to it with them and hold back from them. First of all, invite them to Islam. If they agree to it, then accept it from them and hold back from fighting them. Then invite them to migrate from their land to the land of Muhajireen (migrants) and inform them that if they do so, they will have the same rights and obligations as the Muhajireen. But if they refuse and choose to stay in their land, then tell them that they will be treated like the Muslims of the countryside. The commands of Allah will apply to them as they apply to all other Muslims, but they will not have any share in the spoils of war without fighting alongside the Muslims. If they refuse this as well, then invite them to pay Jizyah (tax). If they agree to it, then accept it from them and hold your hands back from them. But if they refuse even this, then seek help from Allah and fight them."

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ جب کسی شخص کو کسی دستہ یا لشکر کا امیر مقرر کر کے روانہ فرماتے تو اسے خصوصیت کے ساتھ اس کے اپنے متعلق تقوی کی وصیت فرماتے اور اس کے ہمراہ مسلمانوں کے ساتھ بہترین سلوک کی تاکید فرماتے پھر فرماتے کہ اللہ کا نام لے کر اللہ کے راستہ میں جہاد کرو اللہ کے ساتھ کفر کرنے والوں کے ساتھ قتال کرو اور جب دشمن سے تمہارا آمنا سامنا ہو تو اسے تین میں سے کسی ایک بات کو قبول کرنے کی دعوت دو وہ ان میں سے جس بات کو بھی قبول کرلیں تم اسے ان کی طرف سے تسلیم کرلو اور ان سے اپنے ہاتھ روک لو سب سے پہلے اسلام کی دعوت ان کے سامنے پیش کرو اگر وہ تمہاری بات مان لیں تو تم بھی اسے قبول کرلو پھر انہیں اپنے علاقے سے دارالمہاجرین کی طرف منتقل ہونے کی دعوت دو اور انہیں بتاؤ کہ اگر انہوں نے ایسا کرلیا تو ان کے وہی حقوق ہوں گے جو مہاجرین کے ہیں اور وہی فرائض ہوں گے جو مہاجرین کے ہیں اگر وہ اس سے انکار کردیں اور اپنے علاقے ہی میں رہنے کو ترجیح دیں تو انہیں بتانا کہ وہ دیہاتی مسلمانوں کی مانند شمار ہوں گے ان پر اللہ کے احکام تو ویسے ہی جاری ہوں گے جیسے تمام مسلمانوں پر ہوتے ہیں لیکن مال غنیمت میں مسلمانوں کے ہمراہ جہاد کئے بغیر ان کا کوئی حصہ نہ ہوگا اگر وہ اس سے انکار کردیں تو انہیں جزیہ دینے کی دعوت دو اگر وہ اسے تسلیم کرلیں تو تم اسے ان کی طرف سے قبول کرلینا اور ان سے اپنے ہاتھ روک لینا لیکن اگر وہ اس سے بھی انکار کردیں تو پھر اللہ سے مدد چاہتے ہوئے ان سے قتال کرو۔
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) jab kisi shakhs ko kisi dasta ya lashkar ka ameer muqarrar kar ke rawana farmate to use khususiyat ke sath uske apne mutalliq taqwe ki wasiyat farmate aur uske hamrah muslimon ke sath behtarin suluk ki takid farmate phir farmate ke Allah ka naam lekar Allah ke raaste mein jihad karo Allah ke sath kufr karne walon ke sath qital karo aur jab dushman se tumhara aamna samna ho to use teen mein se kisi aik baat ko qubool karne ki dawat do woh in mein se jis baat ko bhi qubool kar lein tum use unki taraf se tasleem kar lo aur unse apne hath rok lo sab se pehle Islam ki dawat unke samne pesh karo agar woh tumhari baat maan lein to tum bhi use qubool kar lo phir unhein apne ilaqe se Dar-ul-Muhajireen ki taraf muntaqil hone ki dawat do aur unhein batao ke agar unhon ne aisa kar liya to unke wohi huqooq honge jo muhajireen ke hain aur wohi faraiz honge jo muhajireen ke hain agar woh is se inkar kar dein aur apne ilaqe hi mein rehne ko tarjih dein to unhein batana ke woh dehati muslimon ki manind shumar honge unpar Allah ke ahkaam to waise hi jari honge jaise tamam muslimon par hote hain lekin maal-e-ghanimat mein muslimon ke hamrah jihad kiye baghair unka koi hissa na hoga agar woh is se inkar kar dein to unhein jizya dene ki dawat do agar woh ise tasleem kar lein to tum use unki taraf se qubool kar lena aur unse apne hath rok lena lekin agar woh is se bhi inkar kar dein to phir Allah se madad chahte huye unse qital karo.
Narrated Buraidah (RA): We besieged the people of Khaibar. Abu Bakr Siddique (RA) took the flag and fought but returned without conquering a specific, important fort. The next day, he again took the flag and went to fight but couldn't conquer the fort that day either. The Muslims faced much hardship that day. The Prophet (PBUH) said, "Tomorrow I will give this flag to a man who loves Allah and His Messenger, and Allah and His Messenger love him too. He will not return without victory."
We remained delighted all night, hoping for a victory the next day. When the morning came, after Fajr prayer, the Prophet (PBUH) stood up and asked for the flag. People were sitting in their rows. The Prophet (PBUH) called Ali (RA), who had sore eyes. The Prophet (PBUH) applied his saliva to his eyes and handed him the flag. He conquered the fort, although I was one of those who aspired to achieve this honor.
When Ali (RA) met the people of Khaibar, Marhab came before him, reciting his Rajaz (poetry): "Khaibar knows that I am Marhab, A fully equipped warrior, an experienced soldier. Sometimes I fight with a spear, sometimes with a sword. Even when a roaring lion appears," Then Ali (RA) confronted him and struck such a blow on his skull that his sword cut through Marhab’s teeth. The soldiers heard the sound of the strike by Ali (RA). Finally, they achieved victory.

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ہم لوگوں نے خیبر کا محاصرہ کیا تو حضرت صدیق اکبر رضی اللہ عنہ نے جھنڈا پکڑا لیکن وہ مخصوص اور اہم قلعہ فتح کئے بغیر واپس آگئے اگلے دن پھر جھنڈا پکڑا اور روانہ ہوگئے لیکن آج بھی وہ قلعہ فتح نہ ہوسکا اور اس دن لوگوں کو خوب مشقت اور تکلیف کا سامنا کرنا پڑا نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا کل میں یہ جھنڈا اس شخص کو دوں گا جسے اللہ اور اس کا رسول محبوب رکھتے ہوں گے اور وہ اللہ اور اس کے رسول سے محبت کرتا ہوگا اور فتح حاصل کئے بغیر واپس نہ آئے گا۔
چنانچہ ساری رات ہم اس بات پر خوش ہوتے رہے کہ کل یہ قلعہ بھی فتح ہوجائے گا جب صبح ہوئی تو نماز فجر کے بعد نبی کریم ﷺ کھڑے ہوئے اور جھنڈا منگوایا لوگ اپنی صفوں میں بیٹھے ہوئے تھے نبی کریم ﷺ نے حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ کو بلایا جنہیں آشوب چشم تھا نبی کریم ﷺ نے ان کی آنکھوں پر اپنا لعاب دہن لگایا اور جھنڈا ان کے حوالے کردیا اور ان کے ہاتھوں وہ قلعہ فتح ہوگیا حالانکہ اس کی خواہش کرنے والوں میں میں بھی تھا۔ حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ کا جب اہل خیبر سے آمنا سامنا ہوا تو مرحب ان کے سامنے رجزیہ اشعار پڑھتا ہوا آیا کہ سارا خیبر جانتا ہے کہ میں مرحب ہوں اسلحہ پہنے ہوئے بہادر اور تجربہ کار ہوں، کبھی نیزے سے لڑتا ہوں اور کبھی تلوار سے جب شیر دھاڑتے ہوئے سامنے آجائیں پھر حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ اور اس کا مقابلہ ہوا حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ نے اس کی کھوپڑی پر ایسی ضرب لگائی کہ حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ کی تلوار اس کی ڈاڑھ کاٹتی ہوئی نکل گئی اور لشکر والوں نے حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ کی ضرب کی آواز سنی بالآخر انہیں فتح نصیب ہوئی۔

Chunancha sari raat hum is baat par khush hote rahe ki kal yeh qila bhi fatah ho jaye ga jab subah hui to namaz fajr ke baad Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) kharay huye aur jhanda mangwaya log apni saffon mein baithe huye thay Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Hazrat Ali Raziallahu Anhu ko bulaya jinhen aashob chashm tha Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne un ki aankhon par apna laab dahen lagaya aur jhanda un ke hawale kar diya aur un ke hathon woh qila fatah ho gaya halanki is ki khwahish karne walon mein main bhi tha Hazrat Ali Raziallahu Anhu ka jab ahle Khaibar se aamna samna hua to Marhab un ke samne rajazia ashaar parhta hua aya kya ki sara Khaibar janta hai ki main Marhab hun aslaha pehne huye bahadur aur tajurba kar hun kabhi neze se ladta hun aur kabhi talwar se jab sher dahaarte huye samne aa jayen phir Hazrat Ali Raziallahu Anhu aur us ka muqabla hua Hazrat Ali Raziallahu Anhu ne us ki khopri par aisi zarb lagayi ki Hazrat Ali Raziallahu Anhu ki talwar us ki darh kat te huye nikal gayi aur lashkar walon ne Hazrat Ali Raziallahu Anhu ki zarb ki aawaz suni balakhir unhen fatah naseeb hui
Narrated by Buraidah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that a woman came to the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and said, "O Messenger of Allah! I gave a slave girl to my mother as Sadaqah. My mother passed away, so the slave girl was returned to me as inheritance." The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said, "May Allah grant you reward for it, and the slave girl is rightfully yours as inheritance." The woman said, "My mother passed away without performing Hajj. Can I perform Hajj on her behalf, will it suffice for her?" The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said, "Yes! You perform Hajj on behalf of your mother."

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک عورت نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئی اور کہنے لگی یا رسول اللہ! میں نے اپنی والدہ کو ایک باندی صدقہ میں دی تھی والدہ کا انتقال ہوگیا اس لئے وراثت میں وہ باندی دوبارہ میرے پاس آگئی ہے نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اللہ تعالیٰ اس کا ثواب دے گا اور باندی بھی تمہیں وراثت مل گئی اس نے کہا کہ میری والدہ حج کئے بغیر ہی فوت ہوگئی ہیں کیا میرا ان کی طرف سے حج کرنا ان کی لئے کفایت کرسکتا ہے؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا ہاں! تم اپنی والدہ کی طرف سے حج کرلو۔
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki aik aurat Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir hui aur kehne lagi Ya Rasool Allah! main ne apni walida ko aik bandi sadaqah mein di thi walida ka intiqal hogaya is liye wirasat mein woh bandi dobara mere paas aagayi hai Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya Allah Ta'ala is ka sawab dega aur bandi bhi tumhein wirasat mil gayi us ne kaha ki meri walida Hajj kiye baghair hi fout hogayi hain kya mera un ki taraf se Hajj karna un ke liye kafaayat karsakta hai? Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya Haan! tum apni walida ki taraf se Hajj karlo.
Narrated Abu Burda: Once the Prophet (ﷺ) entered the mosque and took hold of my hand and I entered the mosque with him. There was a man reciting the Quran and offering prayer. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "This person has been endowed with one of the best musical voices of the family of David." I looked and it was Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari. I said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Shall I inform him of this?" He said, "Yes, inform him." So I informed him and he said, "May you remain my friend forever."

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ مسجد میں داخل ہوئے تو میرا ہاتھ پکڑ لیا میں بھی ان کے ساتھ مسجد میں داخل ہوگیا وہاں ایک آدمی قرآن پڑھ رہا تھا اور نماز پڑھ رہا تھا نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اس شخص کو آل داؤد علیہ السلام کے خوبصورت لہجوں میں سے ایک لہجہ دیا گیا ہے دیکھا تو وہ حضرت ابوموسیٰ اشعری رضی اللہ عنہ تھے میں نے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ! کیا میں انہیں یہ بات بتادوں؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا بتادو چناچہ میں نے انہیں بتادیا اور وہ کہنے لگے کہ آپ ہمیشہ میرے دوست ہی رہے ہیں۔
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki aik martaba Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) masjid mein dakhil huye to mera hath pakad liya mein bhi unke sath masjid mein dakhil hogaya wahan ek aadmi Quran parh raha tha aur namaz parh raha tha Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya is shakhs ko Aal e Dawood Alaihissalam ke khoobsurat lahjon mein se ek lahja diya gaya hai dekha to wo Hazrat Abu Musa Ashari Raziallahu Anhu the maine arz kiya Ya Rasulullah kya mein unhein ye baat bata doon Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya bata do chunancha maine unhein bata diya aur wo kehney lage ki aap hamesha mere dost hi rahe hain.
Narrated by Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw a gold ring in the hand of a man and said, "Why do you wear the adornment of the people of Paradise in this world?" The next time he came, he was wearing a brass ring. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "I smell the stench of the idolaters from you." He asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Then what kind of ring should I make?" He said, "Silver."

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ایک آدمی کے ہاتھ میں سونے کی انگوٹھی دیکھی تو اس سے فرمایا کہ تم اہل جنت کا زیور دنیا میں کیوں پہنے ہو؟ اگلی مرتبہ وہ آیا تو اس نے پیتل کی انگوٹھی پہن رکھی تھی نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا مجھے تم سے بتوں کے بچاریوں جیسی بو آتی ہے " اس نے پوچھا یا رسول اللہ! پھر میں کس چیز کی انگوٹھی بناؤں؟ فرمایا چاندی کی۔
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ek aadmi ke hath mein sone ki anguthi dekhi to us se farmaya ke tum ehl-e-jannat ka zevar duniya mein kyun pehnte ho? Agli martaba woh aaya to us ne peetal ki anguthi pehn rakhi thi. Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya mujhe tum se baton ke bhikariyon jaisi boo aati hai. Us ne pucha Ya Rasulullah! Phir mein kis cheez ki anguthi banaun? Farmaya chandi ki.
