It has been narrated on the authority of Bara (may Allah be pleased with him) that among the companions of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), the first to arrive here were Musab bin Umair (may Allah be pleased with him) and Ibn Umm Maktum (may Allah be pleased with him). They used to teach the Holy Quran to the people. Then came Ammar (may Allah be pleased with him), Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him). Then came Umar Farooq (may Allah be pleased with him) with twenty people. Then the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) also arrived. At that time, the people of Medina were so happy that I had never seen them so happy before. Even the slave girls were saying that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) has arrived. When the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) arrived, I had already memorized some Surahs of the Quran, including Surah A'la and other detailed Surahs.

حضرت براء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ کے صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہ میں ہمارے یہاں سب سے پہلے مصعب بن عمیر رضی اللہ عنہ اور ابن ام مکتوم رضی اللہ عنہ آئے تھے وہ لوگوں کو قرآن کریم پڑھاتے تھے پھر حضرت عمار رضی اللہ عنہ بلال رضی اللہ عنہ اور سعد رضی اللہ عنہ آئے پھر حضرت عمر فاروق رضی اللہ عنہ بیس آدمیوں کے ساتھ آئے پھر نبی کریم ﷺ بھی تشریف لے آئے اس وقت اہل مدینہ جتنے خوش تھے میں نے انہوں اس سے زیادہ خوش کبھی نہیں دیکھا حتیٰ کہ باندیاں بھی کہنے لگیں کہ یہ نبی کریم ﷺ تشریف لے آئے ہیں نبی کریم ﷺ جب تشریف لائے تو میں سورت اعلیٰ وغیرہ مفصلات کی کچھ سورتیں پڑھ چکا تھا۔
Hazrat Bara raziallahu anhu se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke Sahaba Kiram raziallahu anhum mein humare yahan sabse pehle Musab bin Umair raziallahu anhu aur Ibn Umm Maktum raziallahu anhu aaye the wo logon ko Quran Kareem parhate the phir Hazrat Ammar raziallahu anhu Bilal raziallahu anhu aur Saad raziallahu anhu aaye phir Hazrat Umar Farooq raziallahu anhu bees aadmiyon ke sath aaye phir Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) bhi tashreef le aaye us waqt Ahle Madina jitne khush the maine unhon is se ziada khush kabhi nahin dekha hatta ke bandiyan bhi kehne lagi ke yeh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) tashreef le aaye hain Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) jab tashreef laaye to main Surah Aala wa ghair-o-mufazzalat ki kuchh surtein parh chuka tha.
It is narrated on the authority of Buraidah bin 'Aazib (may Allah be pleased with him) that he passed by some people and said: If you have no choice but to sit on the road, then spread salam, help the oppressed and show the way. The previous Hadith is also narrated from this other chain.

حضرت براء بن عازب رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ کچھ لوگوں کے پاس سے گذرے اور فرمایا کہ اگر تمہارا راستے میں بیٹھے بغیر کوئی چارہ نہیں ہے تو سلام پھیلایا کرو مظلوم کی مدد کیا کرو اور راستہ بتایا کرو۔ گزشتہ حدیث اس دوسری سند سے بھی مروی ہے۔
Hazrat Bara bin Aazib Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai keh aik martaba kuch logon ke pass se guzre aur farmaya keh agar tumhara raste mein baithe baghair koi chara nahi hai to salam phelaya karo mazloom ki madad kiya karo aur rasta bataya karo Guzishta hadees is doosri sand se bhi marvi hai
Narrated Bara' (RA): I saw the Prophet (PBUH) carrying rubble on the Day of the Trench till his abdomen was covered with dust. And he (PBUH) was saying, "By Allah! Were it not for you (i.e., Allah), we would not have been guided, nor would we have given in charity, nor would we have prayed. So, please send down tranquility upon us and, if they (i.e., the enemies) intend to put us in fear, make us steadfast against them." The Prophet (PBUH) would raise his voice when reciting the last line (of the verse).

حضرت براء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو خندق کی کھدائی کے موقع پر دیکھا کہ آپ ﷺ لوگوں کے ساتھ مٹی اٹھاتے جارہے ہیں اور (عبداللہ بن رواحہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے) یہ اشعار پڑھتے جارہے ہیں اے اللہ اگر تو نہ ہوتا تو ہم ہدایت پاسکتے صدقہ کرتے اور نہ ہی نماز پڑھ سکتے لہٰذا تو ہم پر سکینہ نازل فرما اور دشمن سے آمنا سامنا ہونے پر ہمیں ثابت قدمی عطا فرما ان لوگوں نے ہم پر سرکشی کی ہے اور وہ جب کسی فتنے کا ارادہ کرتے ہیں تو ہم انکار کردیتے ہیں اس آخری جملے پر نبی کریم ﷺ اپنی آواز بلند فرمالیتے ہیں۔
Hazrat Bara raziallahu anhu se marvi hai keh maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko Khandaq ki khudai ke mauqe par dekha keh aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) logon ke sath mitti uthate ja rahe hain aur (Abdullah bin Rawahah raziallahu anhu ke) yeh ashaar padhte ja rahe hain Aye Allah agar tu na hota to hum hidayat paasakte sadqah karte aur na hi namaz padh sakte lihaza tu hum par sakina nazil farma aur dushman se aamna samna hone par hamen sabat qadmi ata farma in logon ne hum par sarkashi ki hai aur wo jab kisi fitne ka iraada karte hain to hum inkar karte hain is aakhri jumle par Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) apni aawaz buland farmalayte hain.
It is narrated on the authority of Buraidah bin 'Azeeb (may Allah be pleased with him) that during the Battle of Khaibar, when some donkeys fell into our hands, the caller of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) announced, "Turn over your cooking pots."

حضرت براء بن عازب رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ غزوہ خیبر کے موقع پر کچھ گدھے ہمارے ہاتھ لگے تو نبی کریم ﷺ کے منادی نے اعلان کردیا کہ ہانڈیاں الٹادو۔
Hazrat Bara bin Aazib Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai ki Ghazwa Khaibar ke mauqe par kuch gadhe hamare hath lage to Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ke munadi ne elan kar diya ki handiyan ulatado.
Bura' bin 'Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), while mentioning the punishment of the grave, said: When a person is questioned in the grave, 'Who is your Lord?' and he replies, 'My Lord is Allah and my Prophet is Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him),' then this is the meaning of the verse in which Allah Almighty says that He keeps the believers firm on the "established word" in this world and the Hereafter.

حضرت براء بن عازب رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے عذاب قبر کا تذکرہ کرتے ہوئے ارشاد فرمایا قبر میں جب انسان سے سوال ہو کہ تیرا رب کون ہے اور وہ جواب دے دے کہ میرا رب اللہ ہے اور میرے نبی محمد ﷺ ہیں تو یہی مطلب ہے اس آیت کا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ دنیا و آخرت میں اہل ایمان کو '' ثابت شدہ قول " پر ثابت رکھتا ہے۔
Hazrat Bara bin Aazib (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne azab qabar ka tazkira karte huye irshad farmaya qabar mein jab insan se sawal ho ke tera rab kaun hai aur wo jawab de de ke mera rab Allah hai aur mere nabi Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) hain to yahi matlab hai is ayat ka ke Allah Taala dunya o akhirat mein ahle eman ko '' sabit shuda qaul " par sabit rakhta hai.
It was narrated from Bara (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “No one will love the Ansar but a believer, and no one will hate them but a hypocrite. Whoever loves them, Allah will love him, and whoever hates them, Allah will hate him.”

حضرت براء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا انصار سے وہی محبت کرے گا جو مؤمن ہو اور ان سے وہی بغض رکھے گا جو منافق ہو جو ان سے محبت کرے اللہ اس سے محبت کرے اور جوان سے نفرت کرے اللہ اس سے نفرت کرے۔
Hazrat Bara raziallahu anhu se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya Ansar se wohi mohabbat karega jo momin ho aur unse wohi bughz rakhega jo munafiq ho jo unse mohabbat kare Allah usse mohabbat kare aur jo unse nafrat kare Allah usse nafrat kare.
Narrated Bara bin Aazib (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that once Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was carrying Imam Hassan (رضي الله تعالى عنه) on his shoulder, and said, "O Allah! I love him, so You too love him."

حضرت براء بن عازب رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ایک مرتبہ حضرت امام حسن رضی اللہ عنہ کو اپنے کندھے پر اٹھا رکھا تھا اور فرما رہے تھے اللہ میں اس سے محبت کرتا ہوں تو بھی اس سے محبت فرما۔
Hazrat Bara bin Aazib Radi Allaho Anhu se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne ek martaba Hazrat Imam Hassan Radi Allaho Anhu ko apne kandhe par utha rakha tha aur farma rahe the Allah main is se mohabbat karta hun to tum bhi is se mohabbat farma.
Buraira narrated that some people passed by us and we asked them where they were going. They said the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) sent us to a man who married his stepmother after his father died, and he (the Prophet) ordered us to kill him.

حضرت براء بن عازب رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک دن ہمارے پاس سے کچھ لوگ گذرے ہم نے ان سے پوچھا کہاں کا ارادہ ہے؟ انہوں نے بتایا کہ ہمیں نبی کریم ﷺ نے ایک آدمی کی طرف بھیجا ہے جس نے اپنے باپ کے مرنے کے بعد اپنے باپ کی بیوی (سوتیلی ماں) سے شادی کرلی ہے اور ہمیں حکم دیا ہے کہ اسے قتل کردیں۔
Hazrat Bara bin Aazib RA se marvi hai ki aik din hamare paas se kuch log guzre hum ne un se poocha kahan ka irada hai? Unhon ne bataya ki hamen Nabi Kareem SAW ne aik aadmi ki taraf bheja hai jis ne apne baap ke marne ke baad apne baap ki biwi (sauteli maan) se shadi karli hai aur hamen hukm diya hai ki use qatl kar den.
It is narrated on the authority of Bara bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) that one day I met my paternal uncle Haris bin Amr. He had a flag with him. I asked him where he was going. He said that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had sent us to a man who had married his stepmother (father's wife) after the death of his father, and he has ordered us to kill him.

حضرت براء بن عازب رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک دن اپنے چچاحارث بن عمرو سے میری ملاقات ہوئی ان کے پاس ایک جھنڈا تھا میں نے ان سے پوچھا کہاں کا ارادہ ہے؟ انہوں نے بتایا کہ ہمیں نبی کریم ﷺ نے ایک آدمی کی طرف بھیجا ہے جس نے اپنے باپ کے مرنے کے بعد اپنے باپ کی بیوی (سوتیلی ماں) سے شادی کرلی ہے اور ہمیں حکم دیا ہے کہ اسے قتل کردیں۔
Hazrat Bara bin Aazib razi Allah anhu se marvi hai ki aik din apne chacha Haris bin Amr se meri mulaqat hui un ke pas aik jhanda tha maine un se pucha kahan ka irada hai? Unhon ne bataya ki hamen Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne aik aadmi ki taraf bheja hai jis ne apne baap ke marne ke bad apne baap ki biwi (sauteli maan) se shadi karli hai aur hamen hukm diya hai ki use qatal kardein.
It is narrated on the authority of Bara (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) made a peace treaty with the people of Makkah on the condition that they would be allowed to enter Makkah only with weapons in their sheaths, meaning scabbards and swords.

حضرت براء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے اہل مکہ سے اس شرط پر صلح کی تھی کہ وہ مکہ مکرمہ میں صرف جلبان سلاح " لے کر مکہ مکرمہ میں داخل ہوسکیں گے، یعنی میان اور تلوار۔
Hazrat Bara RA se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem SAW ne ahl Makkah se is shart par sulh ki thi keh woh Makkah Mukarramah mein sirf jilban silah "le kar Makkah Mukarramah mein dakhil ho sakenge, yani miyan aur talwar.
Narrated Bara bin Aazib (رضي الله تعالى عنه): When we used to pray behind the Holy Prophet (PBUH), we used to stand in rows and when he (PBUH) prostrated, we used to follow him.

حضرت براء بن عازب رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ہم لوگ جب نبی کریم ﷺ کے پیچھے نماز پڑھتے تھے تو ہم لوگ صفوں میں کھڑے رہتے تھے جب آپ ﷺ سجدے میں چلے جاتے تب ہم آپ کی پیروی کرتے تھے۔
Hazrat Bara bin Aazib (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki hum log jab Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke peeche namaz parhte thay to hum log saffon mein kharay rehtay thay jab Aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) sajday mein chalay jatay tab hum aap ki pairvi karte thay.
It is narrated on the authority of Bara Bin Aazib (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying to the Ansar that after me, you will face trials of preferences. They asked, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)! Then what do you command us?". The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Be patient until you meet me at the Al-Kawthar Pond (in Paradise)."

حضرت براء بن عازب رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو انصار سے یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ میرے بعد تم لوگ ترجیحات سے آمنا سامنا کرو گے، انہوں نے پوچھا یا رسول اللہ ﷺ ! پھر آپ ہمیں کیا حکم دیتے ہیں؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا صبر کرنا یہاں تک کہ حوض کوثر پر مجھ سے آملو۔
Hazrat Bara bin Aazib razi Allah anhu se marvi hai keh maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko Ansar se yeh farmate huye suna hai keh mere baad tum log tarjihat se aamna samna karo ge, unhon ne pucha ya Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)! phir aap humain kya hukm dete hain? Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya sabar karna yahan tak keh hauz e kauthar par mujh se amlo.
Narrated Buraidah bin Al-Azib (May Allah be pleased with him): I went on eighteen journeys with the Prophet (peace be upon him) and I never saw him omit two rak'ahs before the Zuhr prayer.

حضرت براء بن عازب رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کے ہمراہ اٹھارہ سفر کیے ہیں میں نے آپ ﷺ کو کبھی بھی ظہر سے پہلے دو رکعتیں چھوڑتے ہوئے نہیں دیکھا۔
Hazrat Bara bin Aazib Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai ke maine Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ke hamrah atharah safar kiye hain maine aap Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ko kabhi bhi Zuhar se pehle do rakat chhorte huye nahi dekha.
Narrated Bara bin Aazib (may Allah be pleased with him): Once we were on a journey with the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). We reached a well in which little water was left. Six men, including myself, went down into the well. Then the bucket was lowered. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was also present at the edge of the well. We filled the bucket with water, about half or two-thirds, and presented it to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). I checked my water skin thoroughly to see if I could get enough water to quench my thirst, but there wasn't enough. Then the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) put his hand in the bucket and recited some words (that were pleasing to Allah). Then the bucket came back to us (we were still in the well when it was lowered). I saw my last companion being pulled out with the help of clothes so that he wouldn't drown, and the water was overflowing.

حضرت براء بن عازب رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ ہم لوگ نبی کریم ﷺ کے ساتھ کسی سفر میں تھے ہم ایک کنوئیں پر پہنچے جس میں تھوڑا سا پانی رہ گیا تھا چھ آدمی جن میں سے ایک میں بھی تھا اس میں اترے پھر ڈول لٹکائے گئے کنوئیں کی منڈیر پر نبی کریم ﷺ بھی موجود تھے ہم نے نصف یا دو تہائی کے قریب پانی ان میں ڈالا اور انہیں نبی کریم ﷺ کے سامنے پیش کیا کردیا گیا میں نے اپنے برتن کو اچھی طرح چیک کیا کہ اتنا پانی ہی مل جائے جسے میں اپنے حلق میں ڈال سکوں لیکن نہیں مل سکا پھر نبی کریم ﷺ نے اس ڈول میں ہاتھ ڈالا اور کچھ کلمات " جو اللہ کو منظور تھے " پڑھے اس کے بعد وہ ڈول ہمارے پاس واپس آگیا (جب وہ کنوئیں میں انڈیلا گیا تو ہم کنوئیں میں ہی تھے) میں نے اپنے آخری ساتھی کو دیکھا کہ اسے کپڑے سے پکڑ کر باہر نکالا گیا کہ کہیں وہ غرق ہی نہ ہوجائے اور پانی کی جل تھل ہوگئی.
Hazrat Bara bin Aazib (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki aik martaba hum log Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath kisi safar mein thay hum aik kuen per pohanchay jis mein thoda sa pani reh gaya tha chhe aadmi jin mein se aik mein bhi tha us mein utre phir dol latkaye gaye kuen ki mundair per Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) bhi mojood thay hum ne nisf ya do tihai ke kareeb pani un mein dala aur unhen Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke samne pesh kya kar diya gaya maine apne bartan ko acchi tarah check kiya ki itna pani hi mil jaye jise mein apne halaq mein daal sakun lekin nahin mil saka phir Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne us dol mein hath dala aur kuch kalimat "jo Allah ko manzoor thay" parhe uske baad woh dol humare pass wapis aa gaya (jab woh kuen mein andaila gaya to hum kuen mein hi thay) maine apne akhri sathi ko dekha ki use kapde se pakad kar bahar nikala gaya ki kahin woh gharq hi na ho jaye aur pani ki jal thal ho gayi.
It is narrated on the authority of Bara bin Aazib (may Allah be pleased with him) that we participated in fifteen expeditions with the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) and I are of the same age.

حضرت براء بن عازب رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ہم نے نبی کریم ﷺ کے ہمراہ پندرہ غزوات میں شرکت کی ہے اور میں اور عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہ ہم عمر ہیں۔
Hazrat Bara bin Aazib Radi Allaho Anhu se marvi hai ki hum ne Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ke humrah pandrah ghazwat mein shirkat ki hai aur mein aur Abdullah bin Umar Radi Allaho Anhu hum umar hain.
It is narrated on the authority of Bara (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When you go to your bed, say these words: "O Allah, I have entrusted myself to You, I have turned my face to You, I have entrusted my affairs to You, and I have taken Your support, seeking Your pleasure and fearing Your wrath. There is no refuge or shelter except with You. I believe in Your Book which You have revealed and Your Prophet whom You have sent." If a person dies on that very night, he will die on the state of Fitrah (natural belief in Allah). This hadith is also narrated from another chain. However, it has the following addition at the end: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Perform ablution for prayer and say these words at the very end." I (the narrator) repeated these words in front of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). When I reached "I believe in Your Book which You have revealed," I said, "and Your Messenger." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "No, say: "and Your Prophet whom You have sent."

حضرت براء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا جب تم اپنے بستر پر آیا کرو تو یوں کہہ لیا کرو اے اللہ میں نے اپنے آپ کو تیرے حوالے کردیا اپنے چہرے کو تیری طرف متوجہ کرلیا اپنے معاملات کو تیرے سپرد کردیا اور اپنی پشت کا تجھ ہی کو سہارا بنا لیا تیری ہی رغبت ہے تجھ ہی سے ڈر ہے تیرے علاوہ کوئی ٹھکانہ اور پناہ گاہ نہیں میں تیری اس کتاب پر ایمان لے آیا جو تو نے نازل کی اور اس نبی پر جسے تو نے بھیج دیا اگر یہ کلمات کہنے والا اسی رات میں مرگئے توفطرت پر مروگے۔ گزشتہ حدیث اس دوسری سند سے بھی مروی ہے۔ البتہ اس کے آخر میں یہ بھی اضافہ ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا نماز والا وضو کیا کرو اور ان کلمات کو سب سے آخر میں کہا کرو، میں نے نبی کریم کے سامنے ان کلمات کو دہرایا جب میں آمنت بکتابک الذی انزلت پر پہنچا تو میں نے وبرسولک کہہ دیا نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا نہیں وبنبیک کہو۔
Hazrat Bara RA se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem SAW ne farmaya jab tum apne bistar per aya karo to yun keh liya karo aye Allah mein ne apne aap ko tere hawale kardiya apne chehre ko teri taraf mutawajjah karliya apne mamlaat ko tere supurd kardiya aur apni pusht ka tuj hi ko sahaara bana liya teri hi ragbat hai tuj hi se dar hai tere alawa koi thikana aur panaah gah nahi mein teri is kitab per eman le aya jo tu ne nazil ki aur is nabi per jise tu ne bheja diya agar ye kalmaat kehny wala isi raat mein mar jaye to fitrat per maroge guzishta hadees is dusri sand se bhi marvi hai albatta is ke akhir mein ye bhi izafa hai keh Nabi Kareem SAW ne farmaya namaz wala wuzu kya karo aur in kalmaat ko sab se akhir mein kaha karo mein ne Nabi Kareem ke samne in kalmaat ko dohrahya jab mein amantu bikitabik allazi anzalt per pahuncha to mein ne wa rasoolik keh diya Nabi Kareem SAW ne farmaya nahi wa binabik kaho.
Narrated by Bara bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and asked about "Kalalah". The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "The verse revealed in summer is enough for you in this regard." (He was referring to the last verse of Surah An-Nisa).

حضرت براء بن عازب رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک آدمی نبی کریم ﷺ کے پاس آیا اور " کلالہ " کے متعلق سوال پوچھا نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اس سلسلے میں تمہارے لئے موسم گرما میں نازل ہونے والی آیت ہی کافی ہے (سورۃ النساء کی آخری آیت کی طرف اشارہ ہے)
Hazrat Bara bin Aazib razi Allah anhu se marvi hai ki aik aadmi Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke pas aya aur "Kalalah" ke mutalliq sawal poocha Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya is silsile mein tumhare liye mausam garma mein nazil hone wali ayat hi kafi hai (Surat un Nisa ki aakhri ayat ki taraf ishara hai).
It is narrated on the authority of Bura' رضى الله عنه that once, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ passed by some Ansar (residents of Medina) and said, "If you must sit in the path, then spread Salam (greetings), help the oppressed, and show the way."

حضرت براء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ کچھ انصاری حضرات کے پاس سے گذرے اور فرمایا کہ اگر تمہارا راستے میں بیٹھے بغیر کوئی چارہ نہیں ہے تو سلام پھیلایا کرو، مظلوم کی مدد کیا کرو اور راستہ بتایا کرو۔
Hazrat Bara RA se marvi hai ki aik martaba Nabi Kareem SAW kuch Ansaari hazrat ke pass se guzre aur farmaya ki agar tumhara raste mein baithe baghair koi chara nahi hai to salam phailaya karo, mazloom ki madad kiya karo aur rasta bataya karo.
Narrated Bara (رضي الله تعالى عنه): A person was reciting Surah Kahf and an animal (horse) was tied up in the house. Suddenly it started getting jumpy. When the person looked he saw a cloud or a canopy covering it. He mentioned this incident to the Prophet (PBUH) and the Prophet (PBUH) said "O so and so! Keep reciting, it was Sakinah (tranquility) which descends at the time of recitation of the Holy Quran."

حضرت براء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک شخص سورت کہف پڑھ رہا تھا گھر میں کوئی جانور (گھوڑا) بھی بندھا ہوا تھا اچانک وہ بدکنے لگا اس شخص نے دیکھا تو ایک بادل یا سائبان تھا جس نے اسے ڈھانپ رکھا تھا اس نے نبی کریم ﷺ سے اس چیز کا تذکرہ کیا تو نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اے فلاں! پڑھتے رہا کرو کہ یہ سکینہ تھا جو قرآن کریم کی تلاوت کے وقت اترتا ہے۔
Hazrat Bara RA se marvi hai keh aik shakhs Surah Kahf parh raha tha ghar mein koi janwar (ghora) bhi bandha hua tha achanak woh badakne laga us shakhs ne dekha to aik badal ya saiban tha jis ne use dhanp rakha tha us ne Nabi Kareem SAW se is cheez ka tazkira kiya to Nabi Kareem SAW ne farmaya aye falan! parhte raha karo keh yeh sakinah tha jo Quran Kareem ki tilawat ke waqt utarta hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Bara Bin Aazib (may Allah be pleased with him) that an Ansari (a resident of Madina) came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) covered in iron armor and said: "O Messenger of Allah! Should I embrace Islam first or participate in Jihad first?". The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Embrace Islam first and then participate in Jihad". So, he did so and attained martyrdom in that battle. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "He performed few deeds but received a great reward."

حضرت براء بن عازب رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں ایک انصاری آیا جو لوہے میں غرق تھا اور کہنے لگا یا رسول اللہ! میں پہلے اسلام قبول کروں یا پہلے جہاد میں شریک ہوجاؤں؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا پہلے اسلام قبول کرلو پھر جہاد میں شریک ہوجاؤ چناچہ اس نے ایسا ہی کیا اور اس جہاد میں شہید ہوگیا نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اس نے عمل تو تھوڑا کیا لیکن اجربہت لے گیا۔
Hazrat Bara bin Aazib RA se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem SAW ki khidmat mein ek Ansaari aaya jo lohay mein gharq tha aur kehne laga Ya Rasulullah main pehle Islam qubool karoon ya pehle jihad mein shareek ho jaon? Nabi Kareem SAW ne farmaya pehle Islam qubool karlo phir jihad mein shareek ho jao chunacha usne aisa hi kiya aur us jihad mein shaheed hogaya. Nabi Kareem SAW ne farmaya usne amal to thora kiya lekin ajr bahut le gaya.
Narrated Bara' bin 'Azib (may Allah be pleased with him): On the occasion of the Battle of Uhud, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) appointed Abdullah bin Jubair (may Allah be pleased with him) over fifty archers and stationed them at a place. He said, "Even if you see us being carried away by birds, do not leave your place until I send you a message. And if you see us overcoming the enemy and trampling them down, even then do not leave your place until I send you a message." At the beginning, the Muslims defeated the polytheists. I saw women quickly climbing the mountains, their calves and anklets were visible, and they had lifted their clothes. Seeing this, the companions of Abdullah bin Jubair (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "Look! Your companions have prevailed, what are you waiting for now?" Abdullah bin Jubair (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "Have you forgotten what the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) told you?" They said, "We must go to them so that we can also collect the spoils of war." When they reached them, they were attacked from behind and they fled after being defeated. This was the time when the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) kept calling out to them from behind, but except for twelve men, no one remained with the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and seventy of our men were martyred. In the Battle of Badr, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and his companions (may Allah be pleased with them all) inflicted casualties on one hundred and forty men of the polytheists, out of which seventy were killed and seventy were taken prisoner. At that time, the leader of the polytheists, Abu Sufyan, after achieving victory, asked three times, "Is Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) among the people?" But the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them all) from answering. Then he took the names of Siddiq Akbar (may Allah be pleased with him) and Farooq Azam (may Allah be pleased with him) twice and asked the same question. Then he turned to his companions and said, "They are all dead, and now you are free from them." Upon this, Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) could not control himself and said, "By Allah! O enemy of Allah! You lie. All those whom you have named are alive, and now there is disturbing news for you." Abu Sufyan said, "This is the revenge of Badr, and war is like a bucket. You will see some of your people with their limbs cut off. I did not order this, and I do not dislike it." Then he started raising slogans of "Victory to Hubal." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Why don't you people answer him?" The Companions (may Allah be pleased with them all) asked, "O Messenger of Allah! What should we say?" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Say, 'Allah is the Most High and the Greatest.'" Then Abu Sufyan said, "We have Uzza, while you have no Uzza." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Why don't you people answer him?" The Companions (may Allah be pleased with them all) asked, "O Messenger of Allah! What should we say?" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Say, 'Allah is our Protector, while you have no protector.'"

حضرت براء بن عازب رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ غزوہ احد کے موقع پر نبی کریم ﷺ نے پچاس تیر اندازوں پر حضرت عبداللہ بن جبیر رضی اللہ عنہ کو مقرر کردیا تھا اور انہیں ایک جگہ پر متعین کرکے فرما دیا اگر تم ہمیں اس حال میں دیکھو کہ ہمیں پرندے اچک کرلے جارہے ہیں تب بھی تم اپنی جگہ سے اس وقت تک نہ ہلنا جب تک میں تمہارے پاس پیغام نہ بھیج دوں اور اگر تم ہمیں اس حال میں دیکھو کہ ہم دشمن پر غالب آگئے ہیں اور ہم نے انہیں روند دیا ہے تب بھی تم اپنی جگہ سے اس وقت تک نہ ہلنا جب تک میں تمہارے پاس پیغام نہ بھیج دوں۔ چناچہ جنگ میں مشرکین کو شکست ہوگئی بخدا! میں نے عورتوں کو تیزی سے پہاڑوں پر چڑھتے ہوئے دیکھا ان کی پنڈلیاں اور پازیبیں نظر آرہی تھیں اور انہوں نے اپنے کپڑے اوپر کر رکھے تھے یہ دیکھ کر حضرت عبداللہ بن جبیر رضی اللہ عنہ کے ساتھی کہنے لگے لوگو! مال غنیمت تمہارے ساتھی غالب آگئے اب تم کس چیز کا انتظار کر رہے ہو؟ حضرت عبداللہ بن جبیر رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا کیا تم وہ بات فراموش کررہے ہو جو نبی کریم ﷺ نے تم سے فرمائی تھی؟ وہ کہنے لگے کہ ہم تو ان کے پاس ضرور جائیں گے تاکہ ہم بھی مال غنیمت اکٹھا کرسکیں۔ جب وہ ان کے پاس پہنچے تو ان پر پیچھے سے حملہ ہوگیا اور وہ شکست کھا کر بھاگ گئے یہ وہی وقت تھا جب نبی کریم ﷺ انہیں پیچھے سے آوازیں دیتے رہ گئے لیکن نبی کریم ﷺ کے ساتھ سوائے بارہ آدمیوں کے کوئی نہ بچا اور ہمارے ستر آدمی شہید ہوگئے غزوہ بدر کے موقع پر نبی کریم ﷺ اور آپ کے صحابہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے مشرکین کے ایک سوچالیس آدمیوں کا نقصان کیا تھا جن میں سے ستر قتل ہوئے اور ستر قید ہوگئے تھے۔ اس وقت کے سالار مشرکین ابوسفیان نے فتح پانے کے بعد تین مرتبہ پوچھا کہ کیا لوگوں میں محمد ﷺ ہیں؟ لیکن نبی کریم ﷺ نے صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہ کو جواب دینے سے منع کردیا پھر اس نے دو دو مرتبہ حضرت صدیق اکبر رضی اللہ عنہ اور فاروق اعظم رضی اللہ عنہ کا نام لے کر یہی سوال کیا پھر اپنے ساتھیوں کی طرف متوجہ ہو کر کہنے لگا کہ یہ سب تو مارے گئے ہیں اور اب ان سے تمہاری جان چھوٹ گئی ہے اس پر حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ اپنے اوپر قابو نہ رکھ سکے اور کہنے لگے بخدا! اے دشمن خدا! تو جھوٹ بولتا ہے تو نے جتنے نام گنوائے ہیں وہ سب کے سب زندہ ہیں اور اب تیرے لئے پریشان کن خبر رہ گئی ہے ابوسفیان کہنے لگا کہ یہ جنگ بدر کا بدلہ ہے اور جنگ تو ایک ڈول کی طرح ہے تم لوگ اپنی جماعت کے کچھ لوگوں کے اعضاء جسم کٹے ہوئے دیکھو گے میں نے اس کا حکم نہیں دیا تھا اور مجھے یہ بات بری بھی نہیں لگی پھر وہ " ہبل کی جے " کے نعرے لگانے لگا نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا تم لوگ اسے جواب کیوں نہیں دیتے؟ صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہ نے پوچھا یا رسول اللہ! کیا جواب دیں؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا یوں کہو کہ اللہ بلندو برتر اور بزرگ ہے پھر ابوسفیان نے کہا کہ ہمارے پاس عزیٰ ہے جبکہ تمہارا کوئی عزیٰ نہیں نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا تم لوگ اسے جواب کیوں نہیں دیتے؟ صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہ نے پوچھا یا رسول اللہ! ہم کیا جواب دیں؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا یوں کہو اللہ ہمارا مولیٰ ہے جبکہ تمہارا کوئی مولیٰ نہیں۔
Hazrat Bara bin Aazib (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ghazwa uhud ke mauke par Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne pachas teer andazon par Hazrat Abdullah bin Jabeer (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ko muqarrar kar diya tha aur unhen ek jagah par mutayyan karke farma diya agar tum hamen is hal mein dekho ki hamen parinde uchak kar le ja rahe hain tab bhi tum apni jagah se is waqt tak na hilna jab tak mein tumhare pass paigham na bhej dun aur agar tum hamen is hal mein dekho ki hum dushman par ghalib aa gaye hain aur humne unhen rond diya hai tab bhi tum apni jagah se is waqt tak na hilna jab tak mein tumhare pass paigham na bhej dun. Chanacha jang mein mushrikeen ko shikast ho gayi bakhuda! maine auraton ko tezi se paharon par chadte huye dekha un ki pindliyan aur pazibeyan nazar aa rahi thin aur unhon ne apne kapde upar kar rakhe the ye dekh kar Hazrat Abdullah bin Jabeer (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke sathi kahne lage logo! mal ghanimat tumhare sathi ghalib aa gaye ab tum kis cheez ka intezar kar rahe ho? Hazrat Abdullah bin Jabeer (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne farmaya kya tum wo baat faramosh kar rahe ho jo Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne tum se farmai thi? wo kahne lage ki hum to un ke pass zaroor jayenge taki hum bhi mal ghanimat ikattha kar saken. Jab wo un ke pass pahunche to un par peechhe se hamla ho gaya aur wo shikast kha kar bhaag gaye ye wohi waqt tha jab Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) unhen peechhe se awaazein dete rahe gaye lekin Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke saath siwaye barah admiyon ke koi na bacha aur hamare sattar aadmi shaheed ho gaye ghazwa badr ke mauke par Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) aur aap ke sahaba (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne mushrikeen ke ek sau chalis admiyon ka nuqsaan kiya tha jin mein se sattar qatl huye aur sattar qaid ho gaye the. Is waqt ke salar mushrikeen Abu Sufyan ne fatah pane ke baad teen martaba poocha ki kya logon mein Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) hain? lekin Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne sahaba kiram (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ko jawab dene se mana kar diya phir us ne do do martaba Hazrat Siddique Akbar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) aur Farooq Azam (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ka naam le kar yahi sawal kiya phir apne sathiyon ki taraf mutawajjah ho kar kahne laga ki ye sab to mare gaye hain aur ab in se tumhari jaan chhoot gayi hai is par Hazrat Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) apne upar qaboo na rakh sake aur kahne lage bakhuda! aye dushman khuda! tu jhoot bolta hai tu ne jitne naam ginwaye hain wo sab ke sab zinda hain aur ab tere liye pareshan kun khabar rah gayi hai Abu Sufyan kahne laga ki ye jang badr ka badla hai aur jang to ek dol ki tarah hai tum log apni jamaat ke kuch logon ke aaza jism kate huye dekho ge maine is ka hukum nahin diya tha aur mujhe ye baat buri bhi nahin lagi phir wo " habl ki jai " ke naare lagane laga Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya tum log ise jawab kyon nahin dete? sahaba kiram (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne poocha ya Rasulullah! kya jawab den? Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya yun kaho ki Allah buland o bartar aur buzurg hai phir Abu Sufyan ne kaha ki hamare pass uzza hai jabki tumhara koi uzza nahin Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya tum log ise jawab kyon nahin dete? sahaba kiram (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne poocha ya Rasulullah! hum kya jawab den? Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya yun kaho Allah hamara maula hai jabki tumhara koi maula nahin.
It was narrated from Bara' that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "When two Muslims meet and shake hands with one another, they will be forgiven their sins before they separate."

حضرت براء سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا جب دو مسلمان آپس میں ملتے ہیں اور ایک دوسرے سے مصافحہ کرتے ہیں تو ان کے جدا ہونے سے پہلے ان کے گناہ بخش دیئے جاتے ہیں۔
Hazrat Bara se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya jab do musalman aapas mein milte hain aur ek dusre se musafaha karte hain to un ke juda hone se pehle un ke gunah bakhsh diye jate hain.
It is narrated by Bara (may Allah be pleased with him) that a silk cloth was presented to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). People began to marvel at its beauty and softness. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "The handkerchief of Saad bin Muadh in Paradise is far better and more excellent than this."

حضرت براء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں ایک ریشمی کپڑا پیش کیا گیا لوگ اس کی خوبصورتی اور نرمی پر تعجب کرنے لگے نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا جنت میں سعد بن معاذ کے رومال اس سے کہیں افضل اور بہتر ہیں۔
Hazrat Bara RA se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem SAW ki khidmat mein ek reshmi kapra pesh kiya gaya log iski khoobsurati aur narmi par taajjub karne lage Nabi Kareem SAW ne farmaya Jannat mein Saad bin Muaz ke romal is se kahin afzal aur behtar hain.
It is narrated on the authority of Bara (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever accompanies a funeral procession and offers the funeral prayer will get a reward of one Qirat, and whoever accompanies the funeral procession until burial, will get a reward of two Qirats." It was asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what is a Qirat?" He replied, "A Qirat is like Mount Uhud."

حضرت براء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا جو شخص جنازے کے ساتھ جائے اور نماز جنازہ میں شریک ہو اسے ایک قیراط ثواب ملے گا اور جو شخص دفن ہونے تک جنازے کے ساتھ رہے تو اسے دو قیراط ثواب ملے گا اور ہر قیراط احد پہاڑ کے برابر ہوگا۔
Hazrat Bara RA se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem SAW ne irshad farmaya jo shakhs janaze ke sath jaye aur namaz janaza mein sharik ho usay ek qirat sawab milay ga aur jo shakhs dafan honay tak janaze ke sath rahay to usay do qirat sawab milay ga aur har qirat uhud pahar ke barabar hoga.
Narrated Bara (RA): I had the privilege of praying with the Holy Prophet (PBUH). I observed that the duration of his (PBUH) standing, bowing, rising after bowing, prostrating, sitting between two prostrations, the last sitting, and turning back after giving Salam were almost equal.

حضرت براء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کے ساتھ نماز پڑھنے کا شرف حاصل کیا ہے میں نے آپ ﷺ کا قیام، رکوع کے بعد اعتدال، سجدہ، دو سجدوں کے درمیان جلسہ، قعدہ اخیرہ اور سلام پھیرنے سے واپس جانے کا درمیانی وقفہ تقریباً برابر ہی پایا ہے۔
Hazrat Bara RA se marvi hai ke maine Nabi Kareem SAW ke sath namaz padhne ka sharaf hasil kiya hai maine aap SAW ka qayam, ruku ke bad atidal, sajda, do sajdon ke darmiyan jalsa, quda akhira aur salam phirne se wapis jane ka darmiyani waqfa taqreeban barabar hi paya hai.
Narrated Bara (RA): The Prophet (PBUH) said: When you prostrate, place your palms on the ground and keep your forearms raised.

حضرت براء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا جب تم سجدہ کیا کرو تو اپنی ہتھیلیوں کو زمین پر رکھ لیا کرو اور اپنے بازواوپر اٹھا کر رکھا کرو۔
Hazrat Bara RA se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem SAW ne irshad farmaya jab tum sajdah kya karo to apni hatheliyon ko zameen per rakh liya karo aur apne bazu upar utha kar rakha karo.
It is narrated on the authority of Bara bin Aazib (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the occasion of the Battle of Uhud, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) appointed Abdullah bin Jubair (may Allah be pleased with him) over fifty archers. He stationed them at a place and said, "Even if you see us being carried away by birds, do not leave your place until I send you a message. And if you see that we have overcome the enemy and have defeated them, even then do not leave your place until I send you a message." But when they saw the spoils of war, they began to say, "Spoils! Spoils!" Abdullah bin Jubair (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "Have you forgotten what the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to you?" They did not listen to him. So, this verse was revealed: "When you saw the spoils, you were attracted by them and disobeyed." Meaning, when you saw the spoils of war and the defeat of the enemy, you disobeyed the order of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

حضرت براء بن عازب رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ غزوہ احد کے موقع پر نبی کریم ﷺ نے پچاس تیر اندازوں پر حضرت عبداللہ بن جبیر رضی اللہ عنہ کو مقرر کردیا تھا اور انہیں ایک جگہ پر متعین کرکے فرما دیا اگر تم ہمیں اس حال میں دیکھو کہ ہمیں پرندے اچک کرلے جارہے ہیں تب بھی تم اپنی جگہ سے اس وقت تک نہ ہلنا جب تک میں تمہارے پاس پیغام نہ بھیج دوں اور اگر تم ہمیں اس حال میں دیکھو کہ ہم دشمن پر غالب آگئے ہیں اور ہم نے انہیں روند دیا ہے تب بھی تم اپنی جگہ سے اس وقت تک نہ ہلناجب تک میں تمہارے پاس پیغام نہ بھیج دوں۔ لیکن جب انہوں نے مال غنیمت کو دیکھا تو کہنے لگے لوگو! مال غنیمت، حضرت عبداللہ بن جبیر رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا کیا تم وہ بات فراموش کررہے ہو جو نبی کریم ﷺ نے تم سے فرمائی تھی؟ انہوں نے ان کی بات نہیں مانی چناچہ یہ آیت نازل ہوئی تم نے جب اپنی پسندیدہ چیزیں دیکھیں تو نافرمانی کرنے لگے یعنی مال غنیمت اور دشمن کی شکست کو دیکھ کر تم نے پیغمبر ﷺ کا حکم نہ مانا۔
Hazrat Bara bin Aazib Radi Allaho Anhu se marvi hai ki ghazwa e uhud ke mauqe par Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne pachas teer andazon par Hazrat Abdullah bin Jabeer Radi Allaho Anhu ko muqarrar kar diya tha aur unhen ek jaga par mutayen karke farma diya agar tum hamen is hal mein dekho ki hamen parinde uchak kar le ja rahe hain tab bhi tum apni jaga se us waqt tak na hilna jab tak main tumhare pass paigham na bhej dun aur agar tum hamen is hal mein dekho ki hum dushman par ghalib aa gaye hain aur humne unhen rond diya hai tab bhi tum apni jaga se us waqt tak na hilna jab tak main tumhare pass paigham na bhej dun lekin jab unhon ne mal e ghanimat ko dekha to kahne lage logo mal e ghanimat Hazrat Abdullah bin Jabeer Radi Allaho Anhu ne farmaya kya tum wo baat faramosh kar rahe ho jo Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne tum se farmai thi unhon ne un ki baat nahin mani chunancha yeh ayat nazil hui tumne jab apni pasandida cheezen dekhin to nafarmani karne lage yani mal e ghanimat aur dushman ki shikast ko dekh kar tumne Paighambar Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ka hukum na mana.
Narrated Bara (may Allah be pleased with him) that once we were going with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) when he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw some people. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked, “Why are these people gathered?” It was said that they are digging a grave. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) walked ahead quickly and went ahead of his companions until he reached near the grave and bent over it. I, too, hurried forward to see what the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was doing. There, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was weeping, so much so that the soil became wet with his tears. Then, turning to us, he said, “O my brothers, prepare for this day!"

حضرت براء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ ہم لوگ نبی کریم ﷺ کے ساتھ جارہے تھے کہ آپ ﷺ کی نظر کچھ لوگوں پر پڑگئی نبی کریم ﷺ نے پوچھا کہ یہ لوگ کیسے جمع ہیں؟ بتایا گیا کہ قبر کھود رہے ہیں نبی کریم ﷺ تیزی سے آگے بڑھے اور اپنے ساتھیوں سے آگے نکل گئے یہاں تک کہ قبر کے قریب پہنچ گئے اور اس پر جھک گئے میں بھی یہ دیکھنے کے لئے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ کیا کرتے ہیں، تیزی سے آگے نکل گیا وہاں نبی کریم ﷺ رو رہے تھے یہاں تک کہ آنسوؤں سے مٹی گیلی ہوگئی پھر ہماری طرف متوجہ ہو کر فرمایا بھائیو! اس دن کے لئے تیاری کرو۔
Hazrat Bara RA se marvi hai ke aik martaba hum log Nabi Kareem SAW ke sath ja rahe the ke aap SAW ki nazar kuch logon par par gayi. Nabi Kareem SAW ne poocha ke ye log kaise jama hain? Bataya gaya ke kabar khod rahe hain. Nabi Kareem SAW tezi se aage barhe aur apne sathiyon se aage nikal gaye. Yahan tak ke kabar ke kareeb pahunch gaye aur us par jhuk gaye. Main bhi ye dekhne ke liye ke Nabi Kareem SAW kya karte hain, tezi se aage nikal gaya. Wahan Nabi Kareem SAW ro rahe the. Yahan tak ke aansuon se mitti gili ho gayi. Phir hamari taraf mutawajjah ho kar farmaya bhaiyo! Is din ke liye taiyari karo.
Muhammad bin Malik (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Once I saw a gold ring on the hand of Bara (may Allah be pleased with him). People were asking him why he was wearing a gold ring when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had forbidden it. He said: Once we were in the presence of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). There was a heap of spoils of war in front of you (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) which the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was distributing. Among them were prisoners and some insignificant things. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) distributed all those things. Finally, this ring remained. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) looked up at his companions and then lowered his gaze. This happened three times. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) called my name. I came and sat in front of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) took the ring and held the part of my little finger towards the palm and said, "Take this and wear it. How can you tell me to take it off when Allah and His Messenger have given it to you to wear?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) told me, "Wear what Allah and His Messenger give you to wear."

محمد بن مالک رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نے حضرت براء رضی اللہ عنہ کے ہاتھ میں سونے کی انگوٹھی دیکھی لوگ ان سے کہہ رہے تھے کہ آپ نے سونے کی انگوٹھی کیوں پہن رکھی ہے جبکہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے اس کی ممانعت فرمائی ہے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا کہ ایک مرتبہ ہم لوگ نبی کریم ﷺ کے پاس حاضر تھے آپ ﷺ کے سامنے مال غنیمت کا ڈھیر تھا جسے نبی کریم ﷺ تقسیم فرما رہے تھے ان میں قیدی بھی تھے اور معمولی چیزیں بھی، نبی کریم ﷺ نے وہ سب چیزیں تقسیم فرمادیں یہاں تک کہ یہ انگوٹھی رہ گئی نبی کریم ﷺ نے نظر اٹھا کر اپنے ساتھیوں کو دیکھا پھر نگاہیں جھکالیں تین مرتبہ ایساہی ہوا پھر نبی کریم ﷺ نے میرا نام لے کر پکارا میں آکر نبی کریم ﷺ کے سامنے بیٹھ گیا نبی کریم ﷺ نے وہ انگوٹھی پکڑی اور میری چھنگلیا کا گٹے کی طرف سے حصہ پکڑ کر فرمایا یہ لو اور پہن لو جو تمہیں اللہ اور رسول پہنادیں تو تم مجھے کس طرح اسے اتارنے کا کہہ رہے ہو جب کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے مجھ سے فرمایا تھا کہ اللہ اور اس کے رسول تمہیں جو پہنا رہے ہیں اسے پہن لو۔

Unhon ne farmaya ke ek martaba hum log Nabi Kareem SAW ke pass hazir the aap SAW ke samne maal ghanimat ka dher tha jise Nabi Kareem SAW taqseem farma rahe the in mein qaidee bhi the aur mamooli cheezen bhi, Nabi Kareem SAW ne woh sab cheezen taqseem farmadin yahan tak ke yeh anguthi reh gayi Nabi Kareem SAW ne nazar utha kar apne sathiyon ko dekha phir nigahen jhukaleen teen martaba aisa hi hua phir Nabi Kareem SAW ne mera naam lekar pukara mein aakar Nabi Kareem SAW ke samne baith gaya Nabi Kareem SAW ne woh anguthi pakdi aur meri chhungliya ka gutte ki taraf se hissa pakar kar farmaya yeh lo aur pehn lo jo tumhein Allah aur Rasool pehnaden to tum mujhe kis tarah ise utarne ka keh rahe ho jab ke Nabi Kareem SAW ne mujhse farmaya tha ke Allah aur uske Rasool tumhein jo pehna rahe hain ise pehn lo.
Narrated Bara (رضي الله تعالى عنه): When the Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) woke up from sleep, he used to say: "Praise be to Allah Who gave us life after death and to Him we shall be gathered." And when he went to sleep, he used to say: "O Allah, with Your name I live and with Your name I die."

حضرت براء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ جب بیدار ہوتے تو یوں کہتے " اس اللہ کا شکر جس نے ہمیں موت دینے کے بعد زندگی دی اور اسی کے پاس جمع ہونا ہے اور جب سوتے تو یوں کہتے اے اللہ! میں تیرے ہی نام سے جیتا ہوں اور تیرے ہی نام پر مرتا ہوں۔
Hazrat Bara RA se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem SAW jab bedar hote to yun kehte "Iss Allah ka shukar jisne hamein mout dene ke baad zindagi di aur isi ke paas jama hona hai" aur jab sote to yun kehte "Aye Allah main tere hi naam se jeeta hun aur tere hi naam par marta hun"
It is narrated on the authority of Bara (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to perform prostration by placing the inner part of his palms on the ground.

حضرت براء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ ہتھیلی کے باطنی حصے کو زمین پر ٹیک کر سجدہ فرماتے تھے۔
Hazrat Bara razi Allah anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) hatheli ke batni hisse ko zameen par tek kar sajda farmate thy.
It is narrated on the authority of Bara (may Allah be pleased with him) that I participated in more than ten expeditions with the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). I never saw him miss the two rak'ahs (units of prayer) before Zuhr (noon prayer).

حضرت براء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کے ہمراہ جہاد کے دس سے زیادہ سفر کئے ہیں میں نے آپ ﷺ کو کبھی بھی ظہر سے پہلے دو رکعتیں چھوڑتے ہوئے نہیں دیکھا۔
Hazrat Bara raziallahu anhu se marvi hai ke maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke hamrah jihad ke das se ziada safar kiye hain maine aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko kabhi bhi zohar se pehle do rakat chhorte huye nahin dekha.
It is narrated on the authority of Bara (may Allah be pleased with him) that there was a very troublesome she-camel. Once, it entered a garden and caused some damage. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave the verdict that the protection of the garden during the day is the responsibility of its owner, and the protection of the animals during the night is the responsibility of their owners. And whoever's animal causes damage at night, its compensation will be upon the owner of the animal.

حضرت براء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک اونٹنی بہت تنگ کرنے والی تھی ایک مرتبہ اس نے کسی باغ میں داخل ہو کر اس میں کچھ نقصان کردیا نبی کریم ﷺ نے اس کا فیصلہ یہ فرمایا کہ دن کے وقت باغ کی حفاظت مالک کے ذمے ہے اور جانوروں کی حفاظت رات کے وقت ان کے مالکوں کے ذمے ہے اور جو جانور رات کے وقت کوئی نقصان کردے اس کا تاوان جانور کے مالک پر ہوگا۔
Hazrat Bara raziallahu anhu se marvi hai ki aik untni bohat tang karne wali thi aik martaba usne kisi bagh mein dakhil ho kar us mein kuch nuqsan kardia Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne uska faisla ye farmaya ki din ke waqt bagh ki hifazat malik ke zimme hai aur janwaron ki hifazat raat ke waqt unke malikon ke zimme hai aur jo janwar raat ke waqt koi nuqsan karde uska tawan janwar ke malik par hoga.
Narrated Bara' bin 'Azib (RA): A man came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and asked him about Kalalah. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The verse revealed concerning it in summer is sufficient for you." (He meant the last verse of Surat An-Nisa').

حضرت براء بن عازب رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک آدمی نبی کریم ﷺ کے پاس آیا اور " کلالہ " کے متعلق سوال پوچھا نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اس سلسلے میں تمہارے لئے موسم گرما میں نازل ہونے والی آیت ہی کافی ہے (سورۃ النساء کی آخری آیت کی طرف اشارہ ہے)
Hazrat Bara bin Aazib (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ke ek aadmi Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke paas aaya aur "kalaala" ke mutalliq sawal poocha. Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya is silsile mein tumhare liye mausam garma mein nazil hone wali ayat hi kafi hai (Surah Nisa ki aakhri ayat ki taraf ishara hai).
It is narrated on the authority of Bara (may Allah be pleased with him) that once during the blessed era of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), a camel of mine went missing. I went around looking for it in different houses. Suddenly, I saw some horsemen. They came and surrounded the house in which I was. They took out a man from the house, asked him nothing, nor did they speak to him, but without any delay, they cut off his neck. When they left, I inquired about him, and people told me that he had married his father’s wife.

حضرت براء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ کے دور باسعادت میں ایک مرتبہ میرا ایک اونٹ گم ہوگیا میں اس کی تلاش میں مختلف گھروں کے چکر لگارہا تھا اچانک مجھے کچھ شہسوار نظر آئے وہ آئے اور انہوں نے اس گھر کا محاصرہ کرلیا جس میں میں تھا اور اس میں سے ایک آدمی کو نکالا اس سے کچھ پوچھا اور نہ ہی کوئی بات کی بلکہ بغیر کسی تاخیر کے اس کی گردن اڑادی جب وہ چلے گئے تو میں نے اس کے متعلق پوچھا تو لوگوں نے بتایا کہ اس نے اپنے باپ کی بیوی سے شادی کرلی تھی۔
Hazrat Bara raziallahu anhu se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke dor basadat mein ek martaba mera ek ont gum hogaya mein us ki talash mein mukhtalif gharon ke chakkar laga raha tha achanak mujhe kuch sahsawar nazar aye woh aye aur unhon ne us ghar ka muhasira karliya jis mein mein tha aur us mein se ek aadmi ko nikala us se kuch pucha aur na hi koi baat ki balke baghair kisi takheer ke us ki gardan uradai jab woh chale gaye to mein ne us ke mutalliq pucha to logon ne bataya keh us ne apne baap ki biwi se shadi karli thi.
Narrated Bara' ibn 'Azib: Some horsemen appeared and surrounded the house where I was. They brought out a man from it and without any delay, beheaded him. When they left, I inquired about him. The people said that he had married his father's wife. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had sent those men to kill him.

حضرت براء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ کچھ شہسوار نظر آئے اور انہوں نے اس گھر کا محاصرہ کرلیا جس میں میں تھا اور اس میں سے ایک آدمی کو نکالا اور بغیر کسی تاخیر کے اس کی گردن اڑادی جب وہ چلے گئے تو میں نے اس کے متعلق پوچھا تو لوگوں نے بتایا کہ اس نے اپنے باپ کی بیوی سے شادی کرلی تھی۔ ان لوگوں کو نبی کریم ﷺ نے بھیجا تھا کہ اسے قتل کردیں۔
Hazrat Bara RA se marvi hai keh kuchh shah sawar nazar aaye aur unhon ne us ghar ka muhasira karliya jis mein mein tha aur is mein se aik aadmi ko nikala aur baghair kisi takheer ke us ki gardan ura di jab wo chale gaye to mein ne us ke mutalliq poocha to logon ne bataya keh us ne apne baap ki biwi se shadi karli thi. In logon ko Nabi Kareem SAW ne bhijaya tha keh usay qatal kar den.
Bara' reported that he met his uncle who was carrying a banner. He asked him, "Where are you going?" He replied, "The Prophet (ﷺ) has sent me to a man who married his stepmother after the death of his father, and he has ordered me to strike his neck and seize his property." So he did that.

حضرت براء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک دن اپنے ماموں سے میری ملاقات ہوئی ان کے پاس ایک جھنڈا تھا میں نے ان سے پوچھا کہاں کا ارادہ ہے؟ انہوں نے بتایا کہ مجھے نبی کریم ﷺ نے ایک آدمی کی طرف بھیجا ہے جس نے اپنے باپ کے مرنے کے بعد اپنے باپ کی بیوی (سوتیلی ماں) سے شادی کرلی ہے اور مجھے حکم دیا ہے کہ اس کی گردن اڑادوں اور اس کا مال چھین لوں۔ چناچہ انہوں نے ایسا ہی کیا۔
Hazrat Bara RA se marvi hai ki aik din apne mamun se meri mulakat hui un ke pas aik jhanda tha maine un se pucha kahan ka irada hai? Unhon ne bataya ki mujhe Nabi Kareem SAW ne aik aadmi ki taraf bheja hai jis ne apne baap ke marne ke bad apne baap ki biwi (sauteli maan) se shadi karli hai aur mujhe hukum diya hai ki uski gardan urradon aur uska maal chheen lon. Chunancha unhon ne aisa hi kiya.
Narrated Bara' (RA): In the early days of Islam, when a man observed a fast and slept after having sexual intercourse with his wife in the afternoon (before breaking his fast), he was not allowed to eat anything for the rest of that night and up until the next day at sunset. One day, a man from the Ansar was fasting. At the time of breaking the fast, he came to his wife and asked, "Do you have anything (to eat)?" She said, "No, but I will go out and look for something." He dozed off, and in the meantime, his wife came back and saw him sleeping. She said, "What a pity! You missed (the food)." The day had hardly passed its half when he (the husband) fell unconscious (because of hunger and thirst). The matter was mentioned to the Prophet (ﷺ) whereupon this verse was revealed: "It is made lawful for you to have sexual intercourse with your wives on the night of As-Saum (the fasts)..."

حضرت براء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ابتداء اسلام میں جو شخص روزہ رکھتا اور افطاری کے وقت روزہ کھولنے سے پہلے سوجاتا تو وہ اس رات اور اگلے دن شام تک کچھ نہیں کھاپی سکتا تھا ایک دن فلاں انصاری روزے سے تھا افطاری کے وقت وہ اپنی بیوی کے پاس آیا اور کہنے لگا کہ کیا تمہارے پاس کھانے کے لئے کچھ ہے؟ اس نے کہا نہیں لیکن میں جا کر کچھ تلاش کرتی ہوں اسی دوران اس کی آنکھ لگ گئی بیوی نے آ کر دیکھا تو کہنے لگی کہ تمہارا تو نقصان ہوگیا۔ اگلے دن جبکہ ابھی صرف آدھا دن ہی گذر تھا کہ وہ (بھوک پیاس کی تاب نہ لاکر) بیہوش ہوگیا نبی کریم ﷺ کے سامنے اس کا تذکرہ ہوا تو اس موقع پر یہ آیت نازل ہوئی تمہارے لئے روزے کی رات میں اپنی بیویوں سے بےتکلف ہوناحلال کیا جاتا ہے۔۔۔۔۔ "
Hazrat Bara raziallahu anhu se marvi hai keh ibteda Islam mein jo shakhs roza rakhta aur iftari ke waqt roza kholne se pehle so jata to woh us raat aur agle din sham tak kuch nahin kha pi sakta tha ek din falan Ansari roza se tha iftari ke waqt woh apni biwi ke paas aaya aur kehne laga keh kya tumhare paas khane ke liye kuch hai? usne kaha nahin lekin mein ja kar kuch talash karti hun isi doran uski aankh lag gayi biwi ne aa kar dekha to kehne lagi keh tumhara to nuqsan ho gaya agle din jab keh abhi sirf aadha din hi guzar tha keh woh behosh ho gaya Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke samne uska tazkira hua to is mauqe par yeh ayat nazil hui tumhare liye roza ki raat mein apni biwion se betakaluf hona halal kya jata hai
Narrated Bara (May Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was wearing a red garment. I have never seen anyone more handsome than him (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). His hair reached his shoulders.

حضرت براء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ آپ ﷺ نے سرخ جوڑا زیب تن فرما رکھا تھا میں نے ان سے زیادہ حسین کوئی نہیں دیکھا، ﷺ اور ان کے بال کندھوں تک آتے تھے۔

Narrated Bara (RA): Once we went out with the Prophet (PBUH) to attend the funeral of an Ansari man. When we reached near the grave, the niche had not yet been prepared, so the Prophet (PBUH) sat down, and we sat around him. It was as if birds were sitting on our heads. In the blessed hands of the Prophet (PBUH) was a stick, with which he was scraping the ground. Then he (PBUH) raised his head and said, "Seek refuge in Allah from the torment of the grave," He (PBUH) said this two or three times. Then he (PBUH) said, "When a believing servant is about to depart from the world and journey to the Hereafter, angels with bright faces descend from the heavens, carrying with them a shroud and perfume from Paradise. They sit around him as far as the eye can see. Then the Angel of Death comes and sits near his head and says, 'O peaceful soul! Come out, towards the forgiveness and pleasure of Allah.' So his soul comes out effortlessly, like a drop of water flowing from a waterskin. The Angel of Death takes it, but the other angels do not let it remain in his hand even for the twinkling of an eye. They take it from him, wrap it in the shroud they brought, and apply the perfume they brought. A fragrance emanates from the body, like the pleasant scent of musk that can be smelled on Earth. Then the angels ascend with his soul. And whichever group of angels they pass by, they ask, 'Whose pure soul is this?' They reply with the best name by which he was known in the world. They continue ascending until they reach the lowest heaven and request the gate to be opened. When it is opened, the angels of each heaven accompany him until they reach the next heaven, leaving him in their care. This continues until they reach the seventh heaven. Allah Almighty says, 'Write the record of My servant in 'Illiyin' and return him to Earth, for I created My servants from its soil, and to it, I will return them, and from it, I will raise them again.' So, his soul is returned to his body. Two angels come to him, make him sit, and ask, 'Who is your Lord?' He replies, 'My Lord is Allah.' They ask, 'What is your religion?' He replies, 'My religion is Islam.' They ask, 'Who is this man who was sent to you?' He replies, 'He is the Messenger of Allah (PBUH).' They ask, 'What is your knowledge?' He replies, 'I have read the Book of Allah, believed in it, and testified to its truth.' Then a caller from the heavens announces, 'My servant has spoken the truth. Prepare for him a bed from Paradise, clothe him in garments from Paradise, and open for him a gate to Paradise.' So, he experiences the breezes and fragrances of Paradise. His grave is expanded as far as the eye can see. A handsome man with an extremely pleasant fragrance approaches him and says, 'Rejoice! This is the day you were promised.' He asks, 'Who are you, for your face reflects goodness?' He replies, 'I am your good deeds.' The man says, 'O Lord! Hasten the Day of Judgment so that I may return to my family and my wealth.' But when a disbelieving person is about to depart from the world and journey to the Hereafter, angels with dark faces descend from the heavens, carrying coarse cloth. They sit around him as far as the eye can see. Then the Angel of Death comes and sits near his head and says, 'O evil soul! Come out, towards the anger and wrath of Allah.' Hearing this, his soul retreats into his body, and the Angel of Death extracts it forcefully, like a skewer being pulled from wet wool. He seizes it, and the angels do not let it remain in his hand even for the twinkling of an eye. They wrap it in the coarse cloth they brought, and a foul stench, like the stench of a decaying carcass, emanates from it. Then, they ascend with his soul. Whichever group of angels they pass by, they ask, 'Whose wicked soul is this?' They mention the worst name by which he was known in the world, until they reach the lowest heaven. They request the gate to be opened, but it is not opened. Then the Prophet (PBUH) recited this verse: 'For them, the gates of heaven will not be opened, nor will they enter Paradise until a camel passes through the eye of a needle.'"

حضرت براء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ ہم لوگ نبی کریم ﷺ کے ساتھ انصاری کے جنازے میں نکلے ہم قبر کے قریب پہنچے تو ابھی لحد تیار نہیں ہوئی تھی اس لئے نبی کریم ﷺ بیٹھ گئے ہم بھی آپ ﷺ کے اردگرد بیٹھ گئے ایسا محسوس ہوتا تھا کہ ہمارے سروں پر پرندے بیٹھے ہوئے ہوں نبی کریم ﷺ کے دست مبارک میں ایک لکڑی تھی جس سے آپ ﷺ زمین کو کرید رہے تھے پھر سر اٹھا کر فرمایا اللہ سے عذاب قبر سے بچنے کے لئے پناہ مانگو، دو تین مرتبہ فرمایا۔ پھر فرمایا کہ بندہ مؤمن جب دنیا سے رخصتی اور سفر آخرت پر جانے کے قریب ہوتا ہے تو اس کے آس پاس سے روشن چہروں والے ہوتے ہیں آتے ہیں ان کے پاس جنت کا کفن اور جنت کی حنوط ہوتی ہے تاحد نگاہ وہ بیٹھ جاتے ہیں پھر ملک الموت آکر اس کے سرہانے بیٹھ جاتے ہیں اور کہتے ہیں اے نفس مطمئنہ! اللہ کی مغفرت اور خوشنودی کی طرف نکل چل چناچہ اس کی روح اس بہہ کر نکل جاتی ہے جیسے مشکیزے کے منہ سے پانی کا قطرہ بہہ جاتا ہے ملک الموت اسے پکڑ لیتے ہیں اور دوسرے فرشتے پلک جھپکنے کی مقدار بھی اس کی روح کو ملک الموت کے ہاتھ میں نہیں رہنے دیتے بلکہ ان سے لے کر اسے اس کفن لپیٹ کر اس پر اپنی لائی ہوئی حنوط مل دیتے ہیں اور اس کے جسم سے ایسی خوشبو آتی ہے جیسے مشک کا ایک خوشگوار جھونکا جو زمین پر محسوس ہوسکے۔ پھر فرشتے اس روح کو لے کر اوپر چڑھ جاتے ہیں اور فرشتوں کے جس گروہ پر بھی ان کا گذر ہوتا ہے وہ گروہ پوچھتا ہے کہ یہ پاکیزہ روح کون ہے؟ وہ جواب میں اس کا وہ بہترین نام بتاتے ہیں جس سے دنیا میں لوگ اسے پکارتے تھے حتی کہ وہ اسے لے کر آسمان دنیا تک پہنچ جاتے ہیں اور دروازے کھلواتے ہیں جب دروازہ کھلتا ہے تو ہر آسمان کے فرشتے اس کی مشایعت کرتے ہیں اگلے آسمان تک اسے چھوڑ کر آتے ہیں اور اس طرح وہ ساتویں آسمان تک پہنچ جاتے ہیں اور اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتا ہے کہ میرے بندے کا نامہ اعمال " علیین " میں لکھ دو اور اسے واپس زمین کی طرف لے جاؤ کیونکہ میں نے اپنے بندوں کو زمین کی مٹی ہی سے پیدا کیا ہے اسی میں لوٹاؤں گا اور اسی سے دوبارہ نکالوں گا۔ چناچہ اس کی روح جسم میں واپس لوٹادی جاتی ہے پھر اس کے پاس دو فرشتے آتے ہیں وہ اسے بٹھاکر پوچھتے ہیں کہ تیرا رب کون ہے؟ وہ جواب دیتا ہے میرا رب اللہ ہے وہ اس سے پوچھتے ہیں کہ تیرا دین کیا ہے؟ وہ جواب دیتا ہے کہ میرا دین اسلام ہے وہ پوچھتے ہیں کہ یہ کون شخص ہے جو تمہاری طرف بھیجا گیا تھا؟ وہ جواب دیتا ہے کہ وہ اللہ کے پیغمبر ﷺ ہیں وہ اس سے پوچھتے ہیں کہ تیرا علم کیا ہے؟ وہ جواب دیتا ہے کہ میں نے اللہ کی کتاب پڑھی اس پر ایمان لایا اور اس کی تصدیق کی، اس پر آسمان سے ایک منادی پکارتا ہے کہ میرے بندے نے سچ کہا اس کے لئے جنت کا بستر بچھادو اسے جنت کا لباس پہنادو اور اس کے لئے جنت کا ایک دروازہ کھول دو چناچہ اسے جنت کی ہوائیں اور خوشبوئیں آتی رہتیں ہیں اور تاحدنگاہ اس کی قبر وسیع کردی جاتی ہے اور اس کے پاس ایک خوبصورت لباس اور انتہائی عمدہ خوشبو والا ایک آدمی آتا ہے اور اس سے کہتا ہے کہ تمہیں خوشخبری مبارک ہو یہ وہی دن ہے جس کا تم سے وعدہ کیا جاتا تھا وہ اس سے پوچھتاے کہ تم کون ہو؟ کہ تمہارا چہرہ ہی خیر کا پتہ دیتا ہے وہ جواب دیتا ہے کہ میں تمہارا نیک عمل ہوں اس پر وہ کہتا ہے کہ پروردگار! قیامت ابھی قائم کردے تاکہ میں اپنے اہل خانہ اور مال میں واپس لوٹ جاؤں۔ اور جب کوئی کافر شخص دنیا سے رخصتی اور سفر آخرت پر جانے کے قریب ہوتا ہے تو اس کے پاس آسمان سے سیاہ چہروں والے فرشتے اتر کر آتے ہیں جن کے پاس ٹاٹ ہوتے ہیں وہ تاحد نگاہ بیٹھ جاتے ہیں پھر ملک الموت يآکر اس کے سرہانے بیٹھ جاتے ہیں اور اس سے کہتے ہیں کہ اے نفس خبیثہ! اللہ کی ناراضگی اور غصے کی طرف چل یہ سن کر اس کی روح جسم میں دوڑنے لگتی ہے اور ملک الموت اسے جسم سے اس طرح کھینچتے ہیں جیسے گیلی اون سے سیخ کھینچی جاتی ہے اور اسے پکڑ لیتے ہیں فرشتے ایک پلک جھپکنے کی مقدار بھی اسے ان کے ہاتھ میں نہیں چھوڑتے اور اس ٹاٹ میں لپیٹ لیتے ہیں اور اس سے مردار کی بدبوجیسا ایک ناخوشگوار اور بدبودار جھونکا آتا ہے۔ پھر وہ اسے لے کر اوپر چڑھتے ہیں فرشتوں کے جس گروہ کے پاس سے ان کا گذر ہوتا ہے وہی گروہ کہتا ہے کہ یہ کیسی خبیث روح ہے؟ وہ اس کا دنیا میں لیا جانے والا بدترین نام بتاتے ہیں یہاں تک کہ اسے لے کر آسمان دنیا میں پہنچ جاتے ہیں۔ در کھلواتے ہیں لیکن دروازہ نہیں کھولا جاتا پھر نبی کریم ﷺ نے یہ آیت تلاوت فرمائی " ان کے لئے آسمان کے دروازے کھولے جائیں گے اور نہ ہی وہ جنت میں داخل ہوں گے تاوقتیکہ اونٹ سوئی کے ناکے میں داخل ہوجائ
Hazrat Bara (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek martaba hum log Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath Ansaari ke janaze mein nikle hum qabar ke qareeb pahunche to abhi lahad taiyar nahin hui thi isliye Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) baith gaye hum bhi aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke ird gird baith gaye aisa mehsoos hota tha ki humare saron par parinde baithe huye hon Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke dast mubarak mein ek lakdi thi jisse aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) zameen ko kured rahe the phir sar utha kar farmaya Allah se azab qabar se bachne ke liye panah mango, do teen martaba farmaya. Phir farmaya ki banda momin jab duniya se rukhsati aur safar aakhirat par jaane ke qareeb hota hai to uske aas paas se roshan chehron wale hote hain aate hain unke paas jannat ka kafan aur jannat ki hanut hoti hai tahad nigaah woh baith jate hain phir malakul maut aakar uske sarhane baith jate hain aur kehte hain aye nafs mutmainnah! Allah ki magfirat aur khushnudi ki taraf nikal chal chanaacha uski rooh us bah kar nikal jati hai jaise mashkize ke munh se pani ka qatra bah jata hai malakul maut use pakad lete hain aur dusre farishte palak jhapakne ki miqdar bhi uski rooh ko malakul maut ke hath mein nahin rahne dete balki unse lekar use is kafan lapet kar is par apni laayi hui hanut mal dete hain aur uske jism se aisi khushbu aati hai jaise mushk ka ek khushgawar jhonka jo zameen par mehsoos ho sake. Phir farishte us rooh ko lekar upar chadh jate hain aur farishton ke jis giroh par bhi unka guzar hota hai woh giroh poochhta hai ki yeh pakiza rooh kaun hai? Woh jawab mein uska woh behtarin naam batate hain jisse duniya mein log use pukarte the hatta ki woh use lekar aasman duniya tak pahunch jate hain aur darwaze khulwate hain jab darwaza khulta hai to har aasman ke farishte uski mushayat karte hain agle aasman tak use chhod kar aate hain aur is tarah woh saatwein aasman tak pahunch jate hain aur Allah Ta'ala farmata hai ki mere bande ka naam-e-aamal "Aliyeen" mein likh do aur ise wapas zameen ki taraf le jao kyunki maine apne bandon ko zameen ki mitti hi se paida kiya hai usi mein lautaunga aur usi se dobara nikalunga. Chunancha uski rooh jism mein wapas lauta di jati hai phir uske paas do farishte aate hain woh use bithakar poochhte hain ki tera rab kaun hai? Woh jawab deta hai mera rab Allah hai woh usse poochhte hain ki tera deen kya hai? Woh jawab deta hai ki mera deen Islam hai woh poochhte hain ki yeh kaun shakhs hai jo tumhari taraf bheja gaya tha? Woh jawab deta hai ki woh Allah ke Paighambar (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) hain woh usse poochhte hain ki tera ilm kya hai? Woh jawab deta hai ki maine Allah ki kitab padhi is par imaan laya aur iski tasdeeq ki, is par aasman se ek munadi pukarta hai ki mere bande ne sach kaha iske liye jannat ka bistar bichhao use jannat ka libas pahnado aur iske liye jannat ka ek darwaza khol do chunancha use jannat ki hawayein aur khushbuen aati rehti hain aur tahad nigaah uski qabar wasee kardi jati hai aur uske paas ek khoobsurat libas aur intehai umdah khushbu wala ek aadmi aata hai aur usse kehta hai ki tumhein khushkhabri mubarak ho yeh wahi din hai jiska tumse waada kiya jata tha woh usse poochhtaye ki tum kaun ho? Ki tumhara chehra hi khair ka pata deta hai woh jawab deta hai ki main tumhara nek amal hun is par woh kehta hai ki parvardigaar! Qayamat abhi qaim karde taaki main apne ahle khana aur maal mein wapas laut jau. Aur jab koi kaafir shakhs duniya se rukhsati aur safar aakhirat par jaane ke qareeb hota hai to uske paas aasman se siyah chehron wale farishte utar kar aate hain jinke paas taat hote hain woh tahad nigaah baith jate hain phir malakul maut yaakar uske sarhane baith jate hain aur usse kehte hain ki aye nafs khabeesah! Allah ki naraazgi aur ghusse ki taraf chal yeh sunkar uski rooh jism mein daudne lagti hai aur malakul maut use jism se is tarah khinchte hain jaise gili oon se seekh khinchi jati hai aur use pakad lete hain farishte ek palak jhapakne ki miqdar bhi use unke hath mein nahin chhorte aur is taat mein lapet lete hain aur isse murdaar ki badbu jaisa ek nakhushgawar aur badbudar jhonka aata hai. Phir woh use lekar upar chadhte hain farishton ke jis giroh ke paas se unka guzar hota hai wahi giroh kehta hai ki yeh kaisi khabees rooh hai? Woh uska duniya mein liya jane wala badtarin naam batate hain yahan tak ki use lekar aasman duniya mein pahunch jate hain. Dar khulwate hain lekin darwaza nahin khola jata phir Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne yeh ayat tilawat farmai "unke liye aasman ke darwaze kholey jayenge aur na hi woh jannat mein dakhil honge ta waqt oonth sui ke nakey mein dakhil ho jaaye.
Narrated Bara (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, "Allah Almighty showers His blessings and the angels pray for the people of the first rows (in prayer). And he (the Prophet) used to say, "Beautify the Quran with your voices." And whoever gives a gift to someone, for example, silver, gold, or gives milk to someone, or gives raisins to someone, then it is like freeing a slave.

حضرت براء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا پہلی صفوں والوں پر اللہ تعالیٰ نزول رحمت اور فرشتے دعاء رحمت کرتے رہتے ہیں۔ اور فرماتے تھے کہ قرآن کریم کو اپنے آواز سے مزین کیا کرو۔ اور جو شخص کسی کوئی ہدیہ مثلاً چاندی سونا دے یا کسی کو دودھ پلادے یا کسی کو مشکیزہ دے دے تو یہ ایسے ہے جیسے ایک غلام کو آزاد کرنا۔
Hazrat Bara RA se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem SAW ne farmaya pehli safon walon per Allah Taala nuzool rehmat aur firishtay dua rehmat karte rehte hain. Aur farmate thay keh Quran Kareem ko apne awaz se mazeen kya karo. Aur jo shakhs kisi ko koi hadiya maslan chandi sona de ya kisi ko doodh pilade ya kisi ko muskizah de de to yeh aise hai jaise aik ghulam ko azad karna.
It is narrated on the authority of Bara (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever goes to his bed and makes his right hand as a pillow and says these words: O Allah, I have entrusted myself to You, turned my face to You, entrusted my affairs to You and made You my support, out of my desire for You and my fear of You. There is no refuge and no shelter except You. I believe in Your Book (Quran) which You have revealed and Your Prophet (Muhammad) whom You have sent. If that person dies that night, he will enter Paradise and a house will be built for him in Paradise.

حضرت براء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا جو شخص اپنے بستر پر آئے اور دائیں ہاتھ کا تکیہ بناکر یوں کہہ لیا کرے اے اللہ میں نے اپنے آپ کو تیرے حوالے کردیا اپنے چہرے کو تیری طرف متوجہ کرلیا اپنے معاملات کو تیرے سپرد کردیا اور اپنی پشت کا تجھ ہی کو سہارا بنا لیا تیری ہی رغبت ہے تجھ ہی سے ڈر ہے تیرے علاوہ کوئی ٹھکانہ اور پناہ گاہ نہیں میں تیری اس کتاب پر ایمان لے آیا جو تو نے نازل کی اور اس نبی پر جسے تو نے بھیج دیا اگر یہ کلمات کہنے والا اسی رات میں مرجائے تو اس کے لئے جنت میں ایک گھر بنادیا جائے گا۔
Hazrat Bara RA se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem SAW ne farmaya jo shakhs apne bistar par aaye aur daen hath ka takiya banakar yun keh liya kare aye Allah main ne apne aap ko tere hawale kardiya apne chehre ko teri taraf mutawajja karliya apne muamlaat ko tere supurd kardiya aur apni pusht ka tujhi ko sahara bana liya teri hi ragbat hai tujhi se dar hai tere ilawa koi thikana aur panah gah nahi main teri is kitab par iman le aaya jo tu ne nazil ki aur is nabi par jise tu ne bheja diya agar ye kalmat kehne wala isi raat mein mar jaye to uske liye jannat mein ek ghar banadiya jayega.
