Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that I once said in the court of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), "O Messenger of Allah! If I spend something on the children of Abu Salama, will I get a reward for it? Because I cannot leave them in such a state as they are my children too." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Yes, you will get a reward for whatever you spend on them."

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے ایک مرتبہ بارگاہ رسالت میں عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ اگر میں ابوسلمہ کے بچوں پر کچھ خرچ کردوں تو کیا مجھے اس پر اجر ملے گا کیونکہ میں انہیں اس حال میں چھوڑ نہیں سکتی کہ وہ میرے بھی بچے ہیں۔ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا ہاں تم ان پر جو کچھ خرچ کرو گی تمہیں اس کا اجر ملے گا۔
Hazrat Umm Salma Radi Allah Anha se marvi hai ki maine aik martaba bargah risalat mein arz kiya Ya Rasul Allah agar mein Abu Salma ke bachchon par kuch kharch kardoon to kya mujhe is par ajr milay ga kyunki mein unhen is hal mein chhod nahi sakti ki woh mere bhi bachche hain Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya haan tum un par jo kuch kharch karo gi tumhen is ka ajr milay ga.
Narrated by Umm Salama, may Allah be pleased with her, that once the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, came to me and his face was pale. I thought that perhaps he was in some distress, so I asked, "O Prophet of Allah, what is the matter that your face is pale?" The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said, "Actually, I have seven dinars left, which came to us yesterday. It is evening and they are still lying on our bed."

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ میرے پاس تشریف لائے تو چہرے کا رنگ اڑا ہوا تھا میں سمجھی کہ شاید کوئی تکلیف ہے سو میں نے پوچھا اے اللہ کے نبی کیا بات ہے آپ کے چہرے کا رنگ اڑا ہوا ہے؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا دراصل میرے پاس سات دینار رہ گئے ہیں جو کل ہمارے پاس آئے تھے شام ہوگئی اور اب تک وہ ہمارے بستر پر پڑے ہیں۔
Hazrat Umm e Salma raziallahu anha se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) mere pas tashreef laaye to chehre ka rang ura hua tha main samjhi ki shayad koi takleef hai so main ne pucha aye Allah ke Nabi kya baat hai aap ke chehre ka rang ura hua hai? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya darasal mere pas saat dinar reh gaye hain jo kal humare pas aaye the sham ho gayi aur ab tak wo humare bistar par pare hain.
A woman asked Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) about Nabidh. She replied that every intoxicant is forbidden and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) has forbidden Muzfat, Dibaa, and Hantam.

ایک خاتون نے حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے نبیذ کے متعلق پوچھا تو انہوں نے فرمایا کہ ہر نشہ آور چیز حرام ہے اور نبی ﷺ نے مزفت دباء اور حنتم سے منع فرمایا ہے۔

It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Hajj is the Jihad of every weak person."

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ حج ہر کمزور کا جہاد ہے۔
Hazrat Umm Salma raziallahu anha se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki Hajj har kamzor ka jihad hai.
Abu Salama narrates that once Abu Hurairah and Ibn Abbas had a difference of opinion regarding a woman whose husband dies and she gives birth to a child. They sent a messenger to Umm Salama, who said that the husband of Sabi'a bint Harith had died and she gave birth to a child only fifteen days, meaning half a month, after his death. She went to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and he said: "You are now lawful, so you can marry whomever you want."

ابوسلمہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ حضرت ابوہریرہ اور ابن عباس کے درمیان اس عورت کے متعلق اختلاف رائے ہوگیا جس کا شوہر فوت ہوجائے اور اس کے یہاں بچہ پیدا ہوجائے، انہوں نے حضرت ام سلمہ کے پاس ایک قاصد بھیجا تو انہوں نے فرمایا کہ سبیعہ بنت حارث کے شوہر فوت ہوگئے تھے، ان کی وفات کے صرف پندرہ دن یعنی آدھ مہینہ بعد ہی ان کے یہاں بچہ پیدا ہوگیا، وہ نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوگئیں نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ تم حلال ہوچکی ہو اس لئے جس سے چاہو نکاح کرسکتی ہو۔
Abusalma kahte hain ke ek martaba Hazrat Abu Huraira aur Ibn Abbas ke darmiyaan is aurat ke mutalliq ikhtilaf rae hogaya jis ka shohar foot hojaye aur us ke yahan bachcha paida hojaye, unhon ne Hazrat Umm Salma ke paas ek qasid bheja to unhon ne farmaya ke Sabi'a bint Haris ke shohar foot hogaye the, un ki wafat ke sirf pandrah din yani aadha mahina baad hi un ke yahan bachcha paida hogaya, wo Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir ho gayin Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ke tum halal ho chuki ho is liye jis se chaho nikah kar sakti ho.
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When dinner is ready and the time for prayer has begun, start with dinner.

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا جب رات کا کھانا اور نماز کا وقت جمع ہوجائیں تو پہلے کھانا کھالیا کرو۔
Hazrat Umm Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya jab raat ka khana aur namaz ka waqt jama hojain to pehle khana kha liya karo.
Narrated by Umm Salamah (RA): I asked the Prophet (PBUH), "O Messenger of Allah! I am a woman who has to tie her hair in braids (due to its length). Should I necessarily undo them while taking a bath (for purification)?" The Prophet (PBUH) said, "It is sufficient for you to pour water over it thrice."

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ انہوں نے نبی ﷺ سے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ میں ایسی عورت ہوں کہ اپنے سر کے بال (زیادہ لمبے ہونے سے) چوٹی بنا کر رکھنے پڑتے ہیں (تو کیا غسل کرتے وقت انہیں ضرور کھولا کروں؟) نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا تمہارے لئے یہی کافی ہے کہ اس پر تین مرتبہ اچھی طرح پانی بہا لو۔
Hazrat Umm Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki unhon ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se arz kiya Ya Rasulullah main aisi aurat hun ke apne sar ke baal (zyada lambe hone se) choti bana kar rakhne parte hain (to kya ghusl karte waqt inhen zaroor khola karun?) Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya tumhare liye yahi kafi hai ki is par teen martaba achhi tarah pani baha lo.
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) offered the Zuhr prayer. On that day, some wealth had come from somewhere, so the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sat down to distribute it until the Mu'azzin came to give the Adhan (call to prayer) for Asr. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayed Asr and came to my house, because it was my turn that day, and prayed two short Rak'ahs there. Upon this I asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what are these two Rak'ahs that you have been commanded to perform?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "No, rather these are the Rak'ahs that I used to pray after Zuhr, but I was so busy in the distribution of wealth that the Mu'azzin came to me with the news of the Asr prayer, and I did not consider it appropriate to leave them (so I prayed them now)." I said, "O Messenger of Allah, can we also make up for them?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "No."

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے ظہر کی نماز پڑھائی اس دن کہیں سے مال آیا ہوا تھا، نبی ﷺ اسے تقسیم کرنے کے لئے بیٹھ گئے حتی کہ مؤذن عصر کی اذان دینے لگا نبی ﷺ نے عصر کی نماز پڑھی اور میرے ہاں تشریف لے آئے کیونکہ اس دن میری باری تھی اور میرے یہاں دو مختصر رکعتیں پڑھیں اس پر میں نے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ یہ دو رکعتیں کیسی ہیں جن کا آپ کو حکم دیا گیا ہے؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا نہیں بلکہ یہ وہ رکعتیں ہیں جو میں ظہر کے بعد پڑھا کرتا تھا لیکن مال کی تقسم میں ایسا مشغول ہوا کہ مؤذن میرے پاس عصر کی نماز کی اطلاع لے کر آگیا، میں نے انہیں چھوڑنا مناسب نہ سمجھا (اس لئے اب پڑھ لیا) میں نے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ! کیا ہم بھی ان کی قضاء کرسکتے ہیں؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا نہیں۔
Hazrat Umm Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ke ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Zuhr ki namaz parhai us din kahin se maal aaya hua tha, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) use taqseem karne ke liye baith gaye hatta ke Moazzin Asr ki azan dene laga Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Asr ki namaz parhi aur mere han tashreef le aaye kyunki us din meri baari thi aur mere yahan do mukhtasir rakaten parhin is par maine arz kiya Ya Rasulullah yeh do rakaten kaisi hain jin ka aap ko hukum diya gaya hai? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya nahin balke yeh woh rakaten hain jo main Zuhr ke baad parha karta tha lekin maal ki taqseem mein aisa mashghul hua ke Moazzin mere pass Asr ki namaz ki ittila lane ke liye aagaya, maine unhen chhorna munasib na samjha (is liye ab parh liya) maine arz kiya Ya Rasulullah! kya hum bhi in ki qaza kar sakte hain? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya nahin.
It is narrated by Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to supplicate frequently, "O Allah, Turner of the hearts, keep my heart steadfast upon Your religion." I asked, "O Messenger of Allah, are hearts also turned?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, "Yes, the heart of every person that Allah has created is between two of His fingers. So, if He wills, He keeps it upright, and if He wills, He turns it astray."

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ اکثریہ دعاء فرمایا کرتے تھے، اے دلوں کو پھیرنے والے اللہ میرے دل کو اپنے دین پر ثابت قدمی عطاء فرما میں نے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ کیا دلوں کو بھی پھیرا جاتا ہے؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا ہاں اللہ نے جس انسان کو بھی پیدا فرمایا اس کا دل اللہ کی دو انگلیوں کے درمیان ہوتا ہے پھر اگر اس کی مشیت ہوتی ہے تو وہ اسے سیدھا رکھتا ہے اور اگر اس کی مشیت ہوتی ہے تو اسے ٹیڑھا کردیتا ہے۔
Hazrat Umm Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) aksariya yeh dua farmaya karte thy, Aye dilon ko phirne wale Allah mere dil ko apne deen per sabit qadmi ata farma. Maine arz kiya Ya Rasulullah kya dilon ko bhi phira jata hai? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya haan Allah ne jis insan ko bhi paida farmaya us ka dil Allah ki do ungliyon ke darmiyaan hota hai phir agar us ki mashiyat hoti hai to wo usay seedha rakhta hai aur agar us ki mashiyat hoti hai to usay terha kar deta hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that I do not forget the words of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) on the occasion of the Battle of the Trench, when the hair on the blessed chest of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was covered in dust. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was handing bricks to the people and saying, "O Allah, the real good is the good of the Hereafter, so forgive the Ansar and the Muhajireen." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw Umar and said, "O son of Khattab, alas, a rebellious group will kill you."

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نبی ﷺ کی وہ بات نہیں بھولتی جو غزوہ خندق کے موقع پر جب کہ نبی ﷺ سینہ مبارک پر موجود بال غبارآلود ہوگئے تھے نبی ﷺ لوگوں کو اینٹیں پکڑاتے ہوئے کہتے جارہے تھے کہ اے اللہ اصل خیر تو آخرت کی خیر ہے پس تو انصار اور مہاجرین کو معاف فرمادے پھر نبی ﷺ نے حضرت عمار کو دیکھا تو فرمایا ابن سمیہ افسوس تمہیں ایک باغی گروہ قتل کردے گا۔
Hazrat Umm Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki main Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki woh baat nahi bhoolti jo Ghazwa Khandaq ke mauke par jab keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) seena mubarak par mojood baal ghibar aalud ho gaye thay Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) logon ko eenten pakrate hue kahte ja rahe thay ke aye Allah asl khair to aakhirat ki khair hai pas tu Ansar aur Muhajireen ko maaf farma de phir Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Hazrat Ammar ko dekha to farmaya Ibn Sumayyah afsos tumhen ek baghi giroh qatal kar dega.
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that I asked in the court of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), "O Messenger of Allah, how long should women let down their garments?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "You all can let them down to the extent of one handspan." I said, "Then their legs will become uncovered." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Then, let them down to the length of an arm's length, not more than that."

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے بارگاہ رسالت میں عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ عورتیں اپنا دامن کتنا لٹکائیں نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا تم لوگ ایک بالشت کے برابر اسے لٹکا سکتی ہو میں نے عرض کیا کہ اس طرح تو ان کی پنڈلیاں کھل جائیں گی؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ پھر ایک گز لٹکا لو اس سے زیادہ نہیں۔
Hazrat Umm Salma Radi Allaho Anha se marvi hai keh maine bargah risalat mein arz kya Ya Rasul Allah aurten apna daaman kitna latkayen Nabi sallallaho alaihi wasallam ne farmaya tum log ek baalisht ke barabar use latka sakti ho maine arz kya keh is tarah to unki pindliyan khul jayengi Nabi sallallaho alaihi wasallam ne farmaya keh phir ek gaz latka lo is se ziada nahi.
Umm Salama narrates that once she wore a gold necklace. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) visited her and turned away from her. She asked, "Don't you see this adornment?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, "I am turning away from your adornment itself." Then he said, "Why don't you mix it with silver, then mix it with saffron, so that it will become like gold."

حضرت ام سلمہ کہتی ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ انہوں نے اپنے گلے میں سونے کا ہارلٹکالیا، نبی ﷺ ان کے یہاں گئے تو ان سے اعراض فرمایا: انہوں نے عرض کیا کہ آپ اس زیب وزینت کو نہیں دیکھ رہے؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا میں تمہاری زینت ہی سے تو اعراض کر رہا ہوں پھر فرمایا تم اسے چاندی کے ساتھ کیوں نہیں ملاتیں، پھر اسے زعفران کے ساتھ خلط ملط کرلیا کرو جس سے وہ چاندی بھی سونے کی طرح ہوجائیگی۔
Hazrat Umm e Salma kehti hain ke ek martaba unhon ne apne gale mein sone ka haar latka liya, Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) un ke yahan gaye to un se iraz farmaaya: Unhon ne arz kiya ke aap is zeb o zeenat ko nahin dekh rahe? Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne farmaaya main tumhari zeenat hi se to iraz kar raha hun phir farmaaya tum ise chandi ke sath kyun nahin milaati, phir ise zaffran ke sath khalt malt kar liya karo jis se woh chandi bhi sone ki tarah ho jaigi.
Narrated by Umme Salma (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that once Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) took an oath that he will not visit his wives for a month. When 29 days had passed, he went to them in the morning or evening. Someone asked, “Oh Prophet of Allah! You took an oath not to visit them for a month." Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) replied, "A month can sometimes be 29 days long."

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے یہ قسم کھالی کہ اپنی ازواج کے پاس ایک مہینے تک نہیں جائیں گے، جب ٢٩ دن گزر گئے تو صبح یا شام کے کسی وقت ان کے پاس چلے گئے کسی نے پوچھا کہ اے اللہ کے نبی آپ نے تو قسم کھائی تھی کہ ایک مہیے تک ان کے پاس نہ جائیں گے؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا مہینہ بعض اوقات ٢٩ دن کا بھی ہوتا ہے۔
Hazrat Umm Salma raziallahu anha se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ye kasam kha li ki apni azwaj ke paas ek mahine tak nahi jayenge jab 29 din guzar gaye to subah ya sham ke kisi waqt unke paas chale gaye kisi ne poocha ke aye Allah ke Nabi aap ne to kasam khai thi ki ek mahine tak inke paas na jayenge Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya mahina baaz auqat 29 din ka bhi hota hai
It is narrated by Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that the last will of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was to be mindful of prayer and to treat your slaves with kindness. He kept repeating this until his blessed chest started to rattle and his tongue stopped.

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کی آخری وصیت یہ تھی کہ نماز کا خیال رکھنا اور اپنے غلاموں کے ساتھ حسن سلوک کرنا یہی کہتے کہتے نبی ﷺ کا سینہ مبارک کھڑکھڑانے اور زبان رکنے لگی۔
Hazrat Umm Salma RA se marvi hai keh Nabi SAW ki akhri wasiyat yeh thi keh namaz ka khayal rakhna aur apne ghulamon ke sath husn suluk karna yahi kehte kehte Nabi SAW ka seena mubarak kharkharane aur zaban rukne lagi.
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to supplicate: “O Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me, and guide me to the straight path.”

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ یہ دعاء کیا کرتے تھے، کہ پروردگا مجھے معاف فرما مجھ پر رحم فرما اور سیدھے راستے کی طرف میری راہنمائی فرما۔
Hazrat Umm Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) yeh dua kiya karte thy, keh Parvardigaar mujhe maaf farma mujh par reham farma aur seedhay rastay ki taraf meri rahnumai farma.
Ummul Walad of Ibrahim bin Abdur Rahman reported: I used to drag my clothes (below the ankles), sometimes passing over clean places and sometimes over dirty places. Once I went to Umm Salamah and asked her about it. She said that she had heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying: "The trailing part of the garment cleanses it." (There is no harm in it).

ابراہیم بن عبد الرحمن کی ام ولدہ کہتی ہیں کہ میں اپنے کپڑوں کے دامن کو زمین پر گھسیٹ کر چلتی تھی، اس دوران میں ایسی جگہوں سے بھی گزرتی تھی جہاں گندگی پڑی ہوتی اور ایسی جگہوں سے بھی جو صاف ستھری ہوتیں ایک مرتبہ میں حضرت ام سلمہ کے یہاں گئی تو ان سے یہ مسئلہ پوچھا انہوں نے فرمایا کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ بعد والی جگہ اسے صاف کردیتی ہے۔ (کوئی حرج نہیں)
Ibraheem bin Abdur Rahman ki um walida kehti hain ki main apne kapron ke daaman ko zameen par ghaseet kar chalti thi, is dauran main aisi jagahoon se bhi guzarti thi jahaan gandagi pari hoti aur aisi jagahoon se bhi jo saaf suthri hoti ek martaba main Hazrat Umme Salma ke yahaan gai to unse ye masla poocha unhon ne farmaya ki maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate hue suna hai ki baad wali jaga isse saaf kar deti hai. (koi harj nahi).
Umm Salama (RA) narrated that once Abu Bakr Siddiq (RA) went to Busra for trade. Two Badri companions, Na'eeman and Suwaibat bin Harmalah, were with him. Suwaibat was in charge of the provisions. On one occasion, Na'eeman came to him and asked for something to eat. Suwaibat said, "No, not until Abu Bakr comes." Na'eeman was very cheerful and had a great sense of humor. He said, "I will leave you angry." Then he went to some people who were bringing goods from abroad on camels and said to them, "Buy a slave from me. He is an Arab, very intelligent, and a great speaker. He might say that he is free, so if you want to leave him on this basis, let me know now. Don't let my slave turn against me." They said, "We will buy him from you for ten camels." He brought the camels, driving them along, and brought the people with him. When the camels were tied with ropes, Na'eeman said, "Here is that slave." The people came forward to Suwaibat and said, "We have bought him." Suwaibat said, "He is lying. I am a free man." Those people said, "Your master told us about you beforehand," and saying this, they put a rope around his neck and took him away. Meanwhile, Abu Bakr (RA) returned and was informed about the incident. He took some companions with him and went to those people. They returned their camels and freed Suwaibat. When the Prophet (PBUH) came to know about it, he (PBUH) and the companions laughed for a year whenever they remembered this incident.

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ حضرت صدیق اکبر تجارت کے سلسلے میں بصری کی طرف روانہ ہوئے ان کے ساتھ دو بدری صحابہ نعیمان اور سویبط بن حرملہ بھی تھے، زادراہ کے نگران سویبط تھے ایک موقع پر ان کے پاس نعیمان آئے اور کہنے لگے کہ مجھے کچھ کھانے کے لئے دیدو سویبط نے کہا کہ نہیں جب تک حضرت صدیق اکبر نہ آجائیں نعیمان بہت ہنس مکھ اور بہت حس مزاح رکھنے والے تھے، انہوں نے کہا کہ میں بھی تمہیں غصہ دلا کر چھوڑوں گا۔ پھر وہ کچھ لوگوں کے پاس گئے جو سواریوں پر بیرون ملک سے سامان لاد کر لا رہے تھے اور ان سے کہا کہ مجھ سے غلام خریدو گے جو عربی ہے، خوب ہوشیار ہے، بڑا زبان دان ہے، ہوسکتا ہے کہ وہ یہ بھی کہے کہ میں آزاد ہوں اگر اس بنیاد پر تم اسے چھوڑنا چاہو تو مجھے ابھی سے بتادو میرے غلام کو میرے خلاف نہ کر دینا، انہوں نے کہا ہم آپ سے دس اونٹوں کے عوض اسے خریدتے ہیں، وہ ان اونٹوں کو ہانکتے ہوئے لے آئے اور لوگوں کو بھی اپنے ساتھ لے آئے، جب اونٹوں کو رسیوں سے باندھ لیا تو نعیمان کہنے لگے یہ رہا وہ غلام لوگوں نے آگے بڑھ کر سویبط سے کہا کہ ہم نے انہیں خرید لیا ہے سویبط نے کہا کہ وہ جھوٹ بول رہا ہے، میں تو آزاد ہوں ان لوگوں نے کہا کہ تمہارے آقا نے ہمیں پہلے ہی تمہارے متعلق بتادیا تھا اور یہ کہہ کر ان کی گردن میں رسی ڈال دی اور انہیں لے گئے۔ ادھر حضرت ابوبکر واپس آئے تو انہیں اس واقعے کی خبر ہوئی وہ اپنے ساتھ کچھ ساتھیوں کو لے کر ان لوگوں کے پاس گئے اور ان کے اونٹ واپس لوٹاکر سویبط کو چھڑا لیا، نبی ﷺ کو معلوم ہوا تو آپ ﷺ اور صحابہ اس واقعے کے یاد آنے پر ایک سال تک ہنستے رہے۔
Hazrat Umm Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki ek martaba Hazrat Siddiq Akbar tijarat ke silsile mein Basri ki taraf rawana huye un ke sath do badri sahaba Naeeman aur Soyabt bin Harmalah bhi thay, zad-rah ke nigran Soyabt thay ek mauqa par un ke pass Naeeman aaye aur kehne lage ki mujhe kuch khane ke liye de do Soyabt ne kaha ki nahin jab tak Hazrat Siddiq Akbar na aa jayen Naeeman bahut hans makh aur bahut has-mazah rakhne wale thay, unhon ne kaha ki main bhi tumhen gussa dila kar chhodun ga. Phir woh kuch logon ke pass gaye jo sawariyon par bayron mulk se saman laad kar la rahe thay aur un se kaha ki mujh se ghulam khareedo ge jo Arabi hai, khoob hoshyar hai, bada zaban-dan hai, ho sakta hai ki woh yeh bhi kahe ki main azad hun agar iss bunyad par tum use chhorna chaho to mujhe abhi se bata do mere ghulam ko mere khilaf na kar dena, unhon ne kaha hum aap se das unton ke awaz use khareedte hain, woh un unton ko hankte huye le aaye aur logon ko bhi apne sath le aaye, jab unton ko rasion se bandh liya to Naeeman kehne lage yeh raha woh ghulam logon ne aage badh kar Soyabt se kaha ki humne unhen khareed liya hai Soyabt ne kaha ki woh jhoot bol raha hai, main to azad hun un logon ne kaha ki tumhare aqa ne hamen pehle hi tumhare mutalliq batadya tha aur yeh keh kar un ki gardan mein rassi daal di aur unhen le gaye. Udhar Hazrat Abu Bakr wapas aaye to unhen iss waqeye ki khabar hui woh apne sath kuch sathiyon ko lekar un logon ke pass gaye aur un ke unt wapas lota kar Soyabt ko chhuda liya, Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ko maloom hua to aap ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) aur sahaba iss waqeye ke yaad aane par ek saal tak hanste rahe.
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would finish the prayer and say the Salam, the women would get up as soon as he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) finished the Salam, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would stay at his place for a while before standing up.

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ جب سلام پھیرتے تو نبی ﷺ کا سلام ختم ہوتے ہی خواتین اٹھنے لگتی تھیں اور نبی ﷺ کھڑے ہونے سے پہلے کچھ دیر اپنی جگہ پر ہی رک جاتے تھے۔
Hazrat Umm Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) jab salam pherte to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ka salam khatam hote hi khawateen uthne lagti thin aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) kharay hone se pehle kuch dair apni jaga par hi ruk jate the.
It is narrated by Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "At the time of the death of a Caliph, there will arise a dispute among the people regarding the new Caliph. A man will flee from Madinah and go to Makkah. Some people from Makkah will come to him and take him out against his will, and will pledge allegiance to him between the Black Stone and the Station of Abraham. Then, an army will be sent from Syria to fight them, and they will be defeated at a place called Baida'. When the people see this, the Abdal of Syria and the Ashab (a rank of saints) of A'raj will come and pledge allegiance to them. Then, a man from the Quraysh will come out, whose manners will be like those of Banu Kalb. The Makkans will send an army against this Qurayshi man, but he will overpower them. This army or battle will be called 'Ba'th Kalb', and the one who is not present at the time of the distribution of the spoils of this war will be unfortunate. He (the man who overpowers) will distribute the wealth and follow the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). And Islam will spread its wings over the earth. And that man will remain in the world for nine years."

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا ایک خلیفہ کی موت کے وقت لوگوں میں نئے خلیفہ کے متعلق اختلاف پیدا ہوجائے گا اس موقع پر ایک آدمی مدینہ منورہ سے بھاگ کر مکہ مکرمہ چلا جائے گا، اہل مکہ میں سے کچھ لوگ اس کے پاس آئیں گے اور اسے اس کی خواہش کے بر خلاف اسے باہر نکال کر حجر اسود اور مقام ابراہیم کے درمیان اس سے بیعت کرلیں گے، پھر ان سے لڑنے کے لئے شام سے ایک لشکر روانہ ہوگا جسے مقام بیداء میں دھنسا دیا جائے گا جب لوگ یہ دیکھیں گے تو ان کے پاس شام کے ابدال اور اعراض کے عصائب (اولیاء کا ایک درجہ) آ کر ان سے بیعت کرلیں گے۔ پھر قریش میں سے ایک آدمی نکل کر سامنے آئے گا جس کے اخوال بنوکلب ہوں گے، وہ مکی اس قریشی کی طرف ایک لشکر بھیجے گا جو اس قریشی پر غالب آجائے گا اس لشکر یا جنگ کو بعث کلب کہا جائے گا اور وہ شخص محرم ہوگا جو اس غزوے کے مال غنیمت کی تقسم کے موقع پر موجود نہ ہوگا وہ مالت و دولت تقسم کرے گا اور نبی ﷺ کی سنت کے مطابق عمل کرے گا اور اسلام زمین پر اپنی گردن ڈال دے گا اور وہ آدمی نوسال تک زمین میں رہے گا۔
Hazrat Umm Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya ek khalifa ki mout ke waqt logon mein naye khalifa ke mutalliq ikhtilaf paida hojaye ga is mauqe par ek aadmi Madina Munawara se bhaag kar Makkah Mukarramah chala jaye ga, Ahle Makkah mein se kuchh log uske pass ayenge aur use uski khwahish ke bar khilaf use bahar nikal kar Hajar Aswad aur Maqaam e Ibrahim ke darmiyan us se bai't kar lenge, phir un se ladne ke liye Sham se ek lashkar rawana hoga jise maqam e Baida mein dhansa diya jaye ga jab log ye dekhenge to unke pass Sham ke abdal aur airaad ke as'haab (Auliya ka ek darja) aa kar unse bai't kar lenge. Phir Quresh mein se ek aadmi nikal kar samne aye ga jiske akhwal Banu Kalb honge, wo Makki is Qureshi ki taraf ek lashkar bhejega jo is Qureshi par ghalib ajaye ga is lashkar ya jung ko bas kalb kaha jaye ga aur wo shakhs mahram hoga jo is gazwa ke maal e ghanimat ki taqseem ke mauqe par mojood na hoga wo mal-o-daulat taqseem kare ga aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki sunnat ke mutabiq amal kare ga aur Islam zameen par apni gardan daal de ga aur wo aadmi no saal tak zameen mein rahe ga.
It is narrated by Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) woke up from his sleep and was reciting "Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un (Surely we belong to Allah and to Him we shall return)." I asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what happened?” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "A group of my Ummah will be swallowed by the earth.” Then those people will send an army to Makkah Mukarramah towards a man, Allah will protect that man from them and will cause them to be swallowed by the earth, they will all be thrown back in one place, but the places where they are raised will be different.” I submitted, "O Messenger of Allah, how will this happen?" He said, “There will be some among them who have been forcibly included in the army, so they will come in that state.”

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ اپنی نیند سے بیدار ہوئے تو انا للہ وانا الیہ راجعون پڑھ رہے تھے، میں نے پوچھا یا رسول اللہ کیا ہوا نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ میری امت کے ایک گروہ کو زمین میں دھنسادیا جائے گا پھر وہ لوگ ایک لشکر مکہ مکرمہ میں ایک آدمی کی طرف بھیجیں گے، اللہ اس آدمی کی ان سے حفاظت فرمائے گا اور انہیں زمین میں دھنسا دے گا، وہ سب ایک ہی جگہ پچھاڑے جائیں گے، لیکن ان کے اٹھائے جانے کی جگہیں مختلف ہوں گی، میں نے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ یہ کیسے ہوگا؟ فرمایا ان میں سے بعض لوگ ایسے بھی ہوں گے جنہیں زبردستی لشکر میں شامل کیا گیا ہوگا تو اسی حال میں آئیں گے۔
Hazrat Umm Salma Radiallahu Anha se marvi hai ki aik martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) apni neend se bedaar hue to Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiun padh rahe thay, maine poocha Ya Rasulullah kya hua? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki meri ummat ke aik giroh ko zameen mein dhansa diya jayega phir wo log aik lashkar Makkah Mukarramah mein aik aadmi ki taraf bhejenge, Allah us aadmi ki un se hifazat farmayega aur unhein zameen mein dhansa dega, woh sab aik hi jagah pichhare jayenge, lekin un ke uthaye jane ki jagahen mukhtalif hongi, maine arz kiya Ya Rasulullah ye kaise hoga? Farmaya un mein se baaz log aise bhi honge jinhen zabardasti lashkar mein shamil kiya gaya hoga to usi hal mein aayenge.
Abu Qais narrates that once Abdullah bin Amr sent me to Umm Salama to ask whether or not the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to kiss while fasting. If she denies, then tell her that Aisha says that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to kiss her while fasting. So, Abu Qais asked her this question and she replied in the negative. Abu Qais then mentioned Aisha’s statement, upon which Umm Salama replied that it may be so, for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to love her very passionately. As for myself, it never happened to me.

ابوقیس کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ مجھے حضرت عبداللہ بن عمرو نے حضرت ام سلمہ کے پاس یہ پوچھنے کے لئے بھیجا کہ کیا نبی ﷺ روزے کی حالت میں بوسہ دیتے تھے؟ اگر وہ نفی میں جواب دیں تو ان سے کہنا کہ حضرت عائشہ تو لوگوں کو بتاتی ہیں کہ نبی ﷺ روزے کی حالت میں انہیں بوسہ دیا کرتے تھے؟ چنانچہ ابوقیس نے یہ سوال ان سے پوچھا تو انہوں نے نفی میں جواب دیا ابوقیس نے حضرت عائشہ کا حوالہ دیا تو حضرت ام سلمہ نے فرمایا ہوسکتا ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے انہیں بوسہ دیا ہو کیونکہ نبی ﷺ ان سے بہت جذباتی محبت فرمایا کرتے تھے البتہ میرے ساتھ کبھی ایسا نہیں ہوا۔
Abu Qais kehte hain ki ek martaba mujhe Hazrat Abdullah bin Amro ne Hazrat Umm Salma ke paas yeh poochhne ke liye bheja ki kya Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) rozey ki halat mein bosa dete thay? Agar woh nafi mein jawab dein to unse kehna ki Hazrat Ayesha to logon ko batati hain ki Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) rozey ki halat mein unhen bosa diya karte thay? Chunancha Abu Qais ne yeh sawal unse poocha to unhon ne nafi mein jawab diya. Abu Qais ne Hazrat Ayesha ka hawala diya to Hazrat Umm Salma ne farmaya ho sakta hai ki Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne unhen bosa diya ho kyunki Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) unse bahut jazbati muhabbat farmaya karte thay. Albatta mere sath kabhi aisa nahin hua.
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: O people of Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)! Whoever among you intends to perform Hajj, let him assume the state of Ihram for Hajj.

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ اے آل محمد ﷺ ! تم میں سے جس نے حج کرنا ہو وہ حج کا احرام باندھ لے۔
Hazrat Umm Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate hue suna hai ki aye Aal e Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)! tum mein se jisne Hajj karna ho wo Hajj ka ehram bandh le.
Narrated by Umm Salama, may Allah be pleased with her, that once Abdur Rahman bin Auf came to her and said, "Mother, I am afraid that the abundance of wealth may destroy me because I am the richest among the Quraysh." She replied, "Son, spend it (in the way of Allah). I heard the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, saying, ‘Some of my companions will be such that they will never see me again after separating from me.’" When Abdur Rahman bin Auf went out, he met Umar on the way. He told Umar about this. Umar himself went to Umm Salama and entered the house and said, "Tell me, swearing by Allah, am I one of them?" She said, "No, but after you, I cannot say this about anyone."

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ حضرت عبدالرحمن بن عوف ان کے پاس آئے اور کہنے لگے اماں جان مجھے اندیشہ ہے کہ مال کی کثرت مجھے ہلاک نہ کردے۔ کیونکہ میں قریش میں سب سے زیادہ مالدار ہوں انہوں نے جواب دیا کہ بیٹا اسے خرچ کرو کیونکہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ میرے بعض ساتھی ایسے بھی ہوں گے کہ میری ان سے جدائی ہونے کے بعد وہ مجھے دوبارہ کبھی نہ دیکھ سکیں گے، حضرت عبدالرحمن بن عوف جب باہر نکلے تو راستے میں حضرت عمر سے ملاقات ہوگئی انہوں نے حضرت عمر کو یہ بات بتائی حضرت عمر خود حضرت ام سلمہ کے پاس پہنچے اور گھر میں داخل ہو کر فرمایا اللہ کی قسم کھا کر بتائیے کیا میں بھی ان میں سے ہوں؟ انہوں نے فرمایا نہیں لیکن آپ کے بعد میں کسی کے متعلق یہ بات نہیں کہہ سکتی۔
Hazrat Umm Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki ek martaba Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Auf unke pas aaye aur kehne lage ama jan mujhe andesha hai ki maal ki kasrat mujhe halaak na karde kyunki mein Quresh mein sab se zyada maaldaar hun unhon ne jawab diya ki beta ise kharch karo kyunki maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate hue suna hai ki mere baaz sathi aise bhi honge ki meri inse judai hone ke baad wo mujhe dobara kabhi nah dekh sakenge Hazrat Abdur Rahman bin Auf jab bahar nikle to raste mein Hazrat Umar se mulaqat hogayi unhon ne Hazrat Umar ko ye baat batai Hazrat Umar khud Hazrat Umm Salma ke pas pahunche aur ghar mein dakhil hokar farmaya Allah ki kasam kha kar bataiye kya mein bhi in mein se hun unhon ne farmaya nahin lekin aap ke bad mein kisi ke mutalliq ye baat nahin keh sakti.
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not consider any garment better than a Qamees (long shirt).

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کے نزدیک قمیص سے زیادہ اچھا کوئی کپڑا نہ تھا۔
Hazrat Umm Salma raziallahu anha se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke nazdeeq qamees se ziada achcha koi kapda na tha.
It is narrated on the authority of Umme Salma (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ate some meat from the shoulder (of an animal). Then, without touching water, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went to offer prayer.

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے شانے کا گوشت تناول فرمایا: اسی دوران نبی ﷺ پانی کو ہاتھ لگائے بغیر نماز کے لئے تشریف لے گئے۔
Hazrat Umm Salmah ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne shane ka gosht tawaala farmaya: isi dauran Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) pani ko hath lagaye baghair namaz ke liye tashreef le gaye.
It is narrated on the authority of Umme Salma (may Allah be pleased with her) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say that whoever is afflicted with a calamity and says "Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un" (To Allah we belong and to Him we shall return) and then prays, "O Allah! Reward me in this calamity of mine and grant me a better substitute for it", then Allah will grant him reward for his calamity and give him a better substitute for it. When my husband Abu Salma passed away, I thought to myself who could be better than Abu Salma? Nevertheless, Allah Almighty granted me strength and dignity, and I prayed this prayer. After my waiting period (iddah) was over, Abu Bakr and Umar, one after the other, sent proposals for marriage, but I did not accept. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sent Umar to me with his proposal. I submitted to him, "Convey to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that I am a very jealous woman, I have children, and I do not even have a guardian here." Umar came back and conveyed these words to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Go back to her and say that I will pray to Allah and your jealousy will disappear. As for the children, you will continue to suffice for them, and as for the guardian, none of your guardians, whether present or absent, will dislike it."

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا کہ جس شخص کو کوئی مصیبت پہنچے اور وہ اناللہ وانا الیہ راجعون کہہ کر یہ دعا کرلے کہ اے اللہ! مجھے اس مصیبت پر اجرعطا فرما اور مجھے اس کا بہترین نعم البدل عطاء فرما تو اللہ تعالیٰ اسے اس کی مصیبت پر اجر فرمائے گا اور اسے اس کا نعم البدل عطا فرمائے گا جب میرے شوہر ابوسلمہ فوت ہوئے تو میں نے سوچا کہ ابوسلمہ سے بہتر کون ہوسکتا ہے پھر بھی اللہ تعالیٰ نے مجھے عزت کی قوت دی اور میں نے یہ دعاء پڑھ لی، عدت گزرنے کے بعد حضرات ابوبکر اور عمر نے باری باری پیغام نکاح بھیجا لیکن انہوں نے حامی نہ بھری، پھر نبی ﷺ نے حضرت عمر کو ان کے پاس اپنے لئے پیغام نکاح دے کر بھیجا انہوں نے عرض کیا کہ نبی ﷺ کو بتا دیجئے کہ میں بہت غیور عورت ہوں، میرے بچے بھی ہیں اور میرا تو کوئی ولی بھی یہاں موجود نہیں ہے، حضرت عمر نے آ کر یہ باتیں نبی ﷺ کو بتادیں، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا ان سے جا کر کہہ دو کہ میں اللہ سے دعا کردوں گا اور تمہاری غیرت دور ہو جائیگی باقی رہے بچے تو تم ان کی کفایت کرتی رہنا اور باقی رہا ولی تو تمہارے اولیاء میں سے کوئی بھی خواہ وہ غائب ہو یا حاضر اسے ناپسند نہیں کرے گا۔
Hazrat Umme Salma RA se marvi hai keh maine Nabi SAW ko yeh farmate huye suna keh jis shakhs ko koi museebat pohonche aur wo Inna Lillahe Wa Inna Ilaihe Rajeoon keh kar yeh dua karle keh aye Allah mujhe is museebat par ajr ata farma aur mujhe iska behtarin نعم البدل ata farma to Allah Ta'ala usay iski museebat par ajr farmaye ga aur usay iska نعم البدل ata farmaye ga jab mere shohar Abu Salma فوت huye to maine socha keh Abu Salma se behtar kaun ho sakta hai phir bhi Allah Ta'ala ne mujhe izzat ki quwwat di aur maine yeh dua parh li iddat guzarne ke baad Hazrat Abubakar aur Umar ne bari bari paigham nikah bheja lekin unhon ne haami na bhari phir Nabi SAW ne Hazrat Umar ko unke paas apne liye paigham nikah de kar bheja unhon ne arz kiya keh Nabi SAW ko bata dijiye keh main bohat ghair aurat hun mere bache bhi hain aur mera to koi wali bhi yahan mojood nahi hai Hazrat Umar ne aa kar yeh baatein Nabi SAW ko bata din Nabi SAW ne farmaya unse ja kar keh do keh main Allah se dua karunga aur tumhari ghairat door ho jaye gi baqi rahe bache to tum unki kifayat karti rehna aur baqi raha wali to tumhare awliya mein se koi bhi chahe wo ghaib ho ya hazir usay napasand nahi kare ga.
It is narrated by Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that the men of the Ansar would not approach their wives from behind, because the Jews used to say that the child of a man who approaches his wife from behind will be born cross-eyed. When the Muhajireen came to Madinah, they married Ansar women and would approach them from behind. But a woman refused to obey her husband in this matter and said, "Until I ask the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about this, you cannot do this." So that woman came to Umm Salama and mentioned this to her. Umm Salama said, "Sit down, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) will be here soon." When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) arrived, the woman felt shy to ask him this question, so she went back. Later, Umm Salama told the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about this. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Call that Ansari woman!" So she was called, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) recited this verse in front of her: "Your wives are a tilth for you, so go to your tilth as you will" (2:223). And he said, "Be it in the front hole (whether the man comes from behind or from the front)."

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ انصار کے مرد اپنی عورتوں کے پاس پچھلے حصے سے نہیں آتے تھے، کیونکہ یہودی کہا کرتے تھے کہ جو شخص اپنی بیوی کے پاس پچھلی جانب سے آتا ہے اس کی اولاد بھینگی ہوتی ہے، جب مہاجرین مدینہ منورہ آئے تو انہوں نے انصاری عورتوں سے بھی نکاح کیا اور پچھلی جانب سے ان کے پاس آتے، لیکن ایک عورت نے اس معاملے میں اپنے شوہر کی بات ماننے سے انکار کردیا اور کہنے لگی کہ جب تک میں نبی ﷺ سے اس کا حکم نہ پوچھ لوں اس وقت تک تم یہ کام نہیں کرسکتے۔ چنانچہ وہ عورت حضرت ام سلمہ کے پاس آئی اور ان سے اس کا ذکر کیا، حضرت ام سلمہ نے فرمایا کہ بیٹھ جاؤ، نبی ﷺ آتے ہی ہوں گے، جب نبی ﷺ تشریف لائے تو اس عورت کو یہ سوال پوچھتے ہوئے شرم آئی لہذا وہ یوں ہی واپس چلی گئی، بعد میں حضرت ام سلمہ نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ بات بتائی تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا اس انصاریہ کو بلاؤ! چنانچہ اسے بلایا گیا اور نبی ﷺ نے اس کے سامنے یہ آیت تلاوت فرمائی " تمہاری بیویاں تمہاری کھیتیاں ہیں سو تم اپنے کھیت میں جس طرح آنا چاہو، آسکتے ہو " اور فرمایا کہ اگلے سوراخ میں ہو (خواہ مرد پیچھے سے آئے یا آگے سے)
Hazrat Umm Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki Ansar ke mard apni auraton ke pass pichle hisse se nahi aate the, kyunki Yahudi kaha karte the ki jo shaks apni biwi ke pass pichli janib se aata hai us ki aulad bhaingi hoti hai, jab Muhajireen Madina Munawwara aaye to unhon ne Ansaari auraton se bhi nikah kiya aur pichli janib se un ke pass aate, lekin ek aurat ne is mamle mein apne shohar ki baat manne se inkar kar diya aur kahne lagi ki jab tak main Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se is ka hukum na puch lun is waqt tak tum ye kaam nahi kar sakte. Chunancha woh aurat Hazrat Umm Salma ke pass aai aur un se is ka zikar kiya, Hazrat Umm Salma ne farmaya ki baith jao, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) aate hi honge, jab Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) tashreef laaye to us aurat ko ye sawal puchte huye sharm aai lihaza woh yun hi wapas chali gayi, baad mein Hazrat Umm Salma ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye baat batai to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya is Ansaariya ko bulaao! Chunancha use bulaya gaya aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne uske samne ye ayat tilawat farmai " Tumhari biwiyan tumhari khetiyan hain so tum apne khet mein jis tarah aana chaho, aa sakte ho " aur farmaya ki agle suraakh mein ho (khwah mard peechhe se aaye ya aage se).
It was narrated from Umm Salamah that once the Prophet (ﷺ) came to her and there was a Mukhannath (effeminate man) with Abdullah bin Abi Umayya, who was the brother of Umm Salamah. He (the effeminate man) was saying to Abdullah: "O Abdullah bin Abi Umayya! If tomorrow Allah grants you victory over Ta'if, then you should definitely get the daughter of Ghailan, for she comes with four (meaning with difficulty) and goes back with eight (meaning with ease).” The Prophet (ﷺ) heard him saying this, and he said to Umm Salamah: "He should not enter upon you (in your house) again.”

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ ان کے پاس تشریف لائے تو وہاں ایک مخنث اور عبداللہ بن ابی امیہ جو حضرت ام سلمہ کے بھائی تھے بھی موجود تھے وہ ہیجڑا عبداللہ سے کہہ رہا تھا کہ اے عبداللہ بن ابی امیہ اگر کل کو اللہ تمہیں طائف پر فتح عطاء فرمائے تو تم بنت غیلان کو ضرور حاصل کرنا کیونکہ وہ چار کے ساتھ آتی ہے اور آٹھ کے ساتھ واپس جاتی ہے نبی ﷺ نے اس کی یہ بات سن لی اور حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے فرمایا آئندہ یہ تمہارے گھر میں نہیں آنا چاہئے۔
Hazrat Umm Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) un ke paas tashreef laaye to wahan ek mukhannaas aur Abdullah bin Abi Umayya jo Hazrat Umm Salma ke bhai the bhi maujood the woh hijra Abdullah se keh raha tha ki aye Abdullah bin Abi Umayya agar kal ko Allah tumhen Taif par fatah ata farmaye to tum bint ghaylan ko zaroor hasil karna kyunki woh chaar ke saath aati hai aur aath ke saath wapis jati hai Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne is ki yeh baat sun li aur Hazrat Umm Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se farmaya aayenda yeh tumhare ghar mein nahin aana chahiye.
Narrated by Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to supplicate after Fajr prayer: “O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, acceptable deeds, and lawful provision.”

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نماز فجر کے بعد یہ دعاء فرماتے تھے، اے للہ میں تجھ سے علم نافع عمل مقبول اور اور رزق حلال کا سوال کرتا ہوں۔
Hazrat Umm e Salma RA se marvi hai ki Nabi SAW namaz fajar ke baad yeh dua farmate thy, Aye Allah mein tujh se ilm e nafey amal e maqbool aur rizq e halal ka sawal karta hun.
It is narrated by Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that once Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) mentioned an army that will be swallowed by the earth. Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) said, "What if there are people amongst them who were forced to join?". Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) replied, "They will be resurrected based on their intentions."

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے اس لشکر کا تذکرہ کیا جسے زمین میں دھنسا دیا جائے گا تو حضرت ام سلمہ نے عرض کیا کہ ہوسکتا ہے اس لشکر میں ایسے لوگ بھی ہوں جنہیں زبردستی اس میں شامل کرلیا گیا ہو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا انہیں ان کی نیتوں پر اٹھایا جائے گا۔
Hazrat Umm Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne us lashkar ka tazkara kiya jise zameen mein dhansa diya jayega to Hazrat Umm Salma ne arz kiya ki ho sakta hai us lashkar mein aise log bhi hon jinhen zabardasti usmein shamil kar liya gaya ho Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya unhen un ki niyaton par uthaya jayega.
It is narrated by Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that once I was with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) under one blanket and my period started. I started to move away, so the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Have you started your period?" I said, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." Then I moved away from there, cleaned myself, and tied a cloth around myself. Then I came back and lay down under the blanket of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). And I used to take a bath with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) from the same vessel. And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to kiss while fasting.

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ ایک لحاف میں تھی کہ مجھے ایام شروع ہوگئے، میں کھسکنے لگی تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کیا تمہیں ایام آنے لگے، میں نے کہا جی یا رسول اللہ پھر میں وہاں سے چلی گئی اپنی حالت درست کی اور کپڑا باندھ لیا پھر آ کر نبی ﷺ کے لحاف میں گھس گئی اور میں نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ ایک ہی برتن سے غسل کرلیا کرتی تھی اور نبی ﷺ روزے کی حالت میں بوسہ بھی دیدیتے تھے۔
Hazrat Umm Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki ek martaba main Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath ek lihaf mein thi ki mujhe ayam shuru hogaye, main khisakne lagi to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya kya tumhen ayam aane lage, maine kaha ji ya Rasul Allah phir main wahan se chali gayi apni halat durust ki aur kapda bandh liya phir aa kar Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke lihaf mein ghus gayi aur main Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath ek hi bartan se ghusul kar liya karti thi aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) rozey ki halat mein bosa bhi dete thay.
It was narrated from Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went out of his house, he would say this supplication: “In the name of Allah, I put my trust in Allah. O Allah, I seek refuge in You from going astray or leading others astray, from slipping or being tripped, from oppressing or being oppressed, from behaving foolishly or being treated foolishly.”

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ جب گھر سے نکلتے تو یہ دعا پڑھتے، اللہ کے نام سے میں اللہ پر بھروسہ کرتا ہوں اے اللہ! ہم اس بات سے آپ کی پناہ میں آتے ہیں کہ پھسل جائیں یا گمراہ ہوجائیں یا ظلم کریں یا کوئی ہم پر ظلم کرے یا ہم کسی سے جہالت کا مظاہرہ کریں یا کوئی ہم سے جہالت کا مظاہرہ کرے۔
Hazrat Umm Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) jab ghar se nikalte to ye dua parhte, Allah ke naam se mein Allah per bharosa karta hun. Aye Allah! Hum is baat se aap ki panaah mein aate hain ki phisal jayein ya gumrah ho jayein ya zulm karein ya koi hum per zulm kare ya hum kisi se jahalat ka muzahira karein ya koi hum se jahalat ka muzahira kare.
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salama that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The legs of my pulpit will be fixed in Paradise.

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا میرے منبر کے پائے جنت میں گاڑھے جائیں گے۔
Hazrat Umm Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya mere mimbar ke paye jannat mein garhe jayenge.
It was narrated from Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, explaining the verse: "Your wives are a tilth for you, so go to your tilth when or how you will," that it means "in whichever way you wish" (whether the man comes from behind or in front).

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے اس آیت کی تفسیر میں تمہاری بیویاں تمہاری کھیتیاں ہیں سو تم اپنے کھیت میں جس طرح آنا چاہو آسکتے ہو، فرمایا کہ اگلے سوراخ میں ہو (خواہ مرد پیچھے سے آئے یا آگے سے)
Hazrat Umm Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne is ayat ki tafseer mein tumhari biwiyan tumhari khetian hain so tum apne khet mein jis tarah aana chaho aa sakte ho, farmaya ki agle suraakh mein ho (chahe mard peechhe se aaye ya aage se).
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to kiss her while he was fasting.

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ روزہ کی حالت میں انہیں بوسہ دیدیا کرتے تھے۔
Hazrat Umm e Salma raziallahu anha se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) roza ki halat mein unhein bosa dediya karte thay.
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was nearing his death, most of his prayers, besides the obligatory ones, were offered in a sitting position. The most beloved deed to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was the one that was done regularly, even if it was little.

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کا جس وقت وصال ہوا تو فرائض کے علاوہ آپ ﷺ کی اکثر نمازیں بیٹھ کر ہوتی تھیں نبی ﷺ کے نزدیک سب سے پسندیدہ عمل وہ تھا جو ہمیشہ ہو اگرچہ تھوڑا ہو۔
Hazrat Umm Salma Raziallahu Anha se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ka jis waqt wisal hua to faraiz ke ilawa aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki aksar namazain beth kar hoti thin Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke nazdeek sab se pasandida amal wo tha jo hamesha ho agarche thora ho.
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ate a piece of shoulder meat. Meanwhile, Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) came and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went to offer prayer without even touching water.

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے شانے کا گوشت تناول فرمایا اسی دوران حضرت بلال آگئے اور نبی علیہ السلا پانی کو ہاتھ لگائے بغیر نماز کے لئے تشریف لے گئے۔
Hazrat Umm Salma razi Allah anha se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne shane ka gosht tanavil farmaya isi dauran Hazrat Bilal aagaye aur Nabi alaihissalam pani ko hath lagaye baghair namaz ke liye tashreef le gaye.
It is narrated from Safinah that Umm Salamah freed me on the condition that I would continue to serve the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, for the rest of my life.

حضرت سفینہ سے مروی ہے کہ حضرت ام سلمہ نے مجھے آزاد کردیا اور یہ شرط لگادی کہ تاحیات نبی ﷺ کی خدمت کرتا رہوں گا۔
Hazrat Safeena se marvi hai ki Hazrat Umm Salma ne mujhe azad kar diya aur ye shart laga di ki ta hayat Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat karta rahun ga.
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that she and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to perform ghusl from the same vessel after sexual intercourse.

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ وہ اور نبی ﷺ ایک ہی برتن سے غسل جنابت کرلیا کرتے تھے۔
Hazrat Umm Salma raziallahu anha se marvi hai ki woh aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ek hi bartan se ghusl janabat kar liya karte thay.
Uthman bin Abdullah narrates that once we went to Umm Salama and she took out a hair of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) and showed it to us, which had become red due to being dyed with henna and indigo.

عثمان بن عبداللہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ ہم لوگ حضرت ام سلمہ کے پاس گئے تو انہوں نے ہمارے سامنے نبی ﷺ کا ایک بال نکال کر دکھایا جو کہ مہندی اور وسمہ سے رنگا ہوا ہونے کی وجہ سے سرخ ہوچکا تھا۔
Usman bin Abdullah kehte hain ki aik martaba hum log Hazrat Umme Salma ke pass gaye to unhon ne humare samne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ka aik baal nikaal kar dikhaya jo keh mehendi aur wasma se ranga hua hone ki waja se surkh ho chuka tha.
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that when she reached Makkah Mukarramah, she was ill. She mentioned this to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Mount your ride and perform Tawaf while staying behind the people." Umm Salama said that she heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) reciting Surah Tur near the Kaaba.

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ جب وہ مکہ مکرمہ پہنچیں تو بیمار تھیں انہوں نے نبی ﷺ سے اس کا تذکرہ کیا نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا تم سوار ہو کر لوگوں کے پیچھے رہتے ہوئے طواف کر لوحضرت ام سلمہ کہتی ہیں کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو خانہ کعبہ کے قریب سورت طور کی تلاوت کرتے ہوئے سنا۔
Hazrat Umm e Salma raziallahu anha se marvi hai ki jab wo Makkah Mukarramah pahuncheen to bimaar thin unhon ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se iska tazkira kiya Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya tum sawar ho kar logon ke peeche rehte hue tawaaf kar lo Hazrat Umm e Salma kehti hain ki maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko Khan e Kaaba ke kareeb Surah Toor ki tilawat karte hue suna.
Abu Salama said that once there was a difference of opinion between Abu Hurairah and Ibn Abbas regarding a woman whose husband passes away and she gives birth to a child. Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) said that she could marry after childbirth. Ibn Abbas said that she would observe one of the two waiting periods (whichever was longer). They then sent a messenger to Umm Salama, who said that Sabeeha bint Harith's husband passed away and just fifteen days, meaning half a month later, she gave birth. Then two men proposed marriage to Sabeeha and she was also inclined towards one of them. When people realized that she was leaning towards accepting one of them, they said that she was not yet permissible (for marriage). She went to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and he said, "You are now permissible, so marry whomever you wish."

ابوسلمہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ حضرت ابوہریرہ اور ابن عباس کے درمیان اس عورت کے متعلق اختلاف رائے ہوگیا جس کا شوہر فوت ہوجائے اور اس کے یہاں بچہ پیدا ہوجائے، حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے تھے کہ وضع حمل کے بعد وہ نکاح کرسکتی ہے، حضرت ابن عباس کا کہنا تھا کہ وہ دو میں سے ایک طویل مدت کی عدت گزارے گی، پھر انہوں نے حضرت ام سلمہ کے پاس ایک قاصد بھیجا تو انہوں نے فرمایا کہ سبیعہ بنت حارث کے شوہر فوت ہوگئے تھے، ان کی وفات کے صرف پندرہ دن یعنی آدھ مہینہ بعد ہی ان کے یہاں بچہ پیدا ہوگیا پھر دو آدمیوں نے سبیعہ کے پاس پیغام نکاح بھیجا اور ایک آدمی کی طرف ان کا جھکاؤ بھی ہوگیا، جب لوگوں کو محسوس ہوا کہ وہ ان میں سے کسی ایک کی طرف متوجہ ہوجائے گی تو وہ کہنے لگے کہ ابھی تم حلال نہیں ہوئیں، وہ نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوگئیں نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ تم حلال ہوچکی ہو اس لئے جس سے چاہونکاح کرسکتی ہو۔
Abu Salma kahte hain ki ek martaba Hazrat Abu Hurairah aur Ibn Abbas ke darmiyaan is aurat ke mutalliq ikhtilaf rae ho gaya jis ka shohar foot ho jaye aur is ke yahan bachcha paida ho jaye, Hazrat Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kahte the ki waza hamil ke bad wo nikah kar sakti hai, Hazrat Ibn Abbas ka kehna tha ki wo do mein se ek tawil muddat ki iddat guzaregi, phir unhon ne Hazrat Umm Salma ke pass ek qasid bheja to unhon ne farmaya ki Safiyyah bint Harith ke shohar foot ho gaye the, un ki wafat ke sirf pandrah din yani aadha mahina bad hi un ke yahan bachcha paida ho gaya phir do aadmiyon ne Safiyyah ke pass paigham nikah bheja aur ek aadmi ki taraf un ka jhukhao bhi ho gaya, jab logon ko mehsoos hua ki wo un mein se kisi ek ki taraf mutawajjah ho jayegi to wo kehna lage ki abhi tum halal nahin hui, wo Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir ho gai Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki tum halal ho chuki ho is liye jis se chaho nikah kar sakti ho.
Umm Salamah narrated that Fatimah bint Hubaysh came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and said, "My bleeding never stops." The Prophet said, "That is not menstruation, but a vein. So estimate your usual period of menstruation, then tie a cloth and pray."

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ حضرت فاطمہ بنت حبیش رضی اللہ عنہ نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئیں اور عرض کیا کہ میرا خون ہمیشہ جاری رہتا ہے، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا وہ حیض نہیں ہے، وہ تو کسی رگ کا خون ہوگا، تمہیں چاہئے کہ اپنے ایام کا اندازہ کر کے بیٹھ جایا کرو، پھر غسل کر کے کپڑا باندھ لیا کرو اور نماز پڑھا کرو۔
Hazrat Umm Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki ek martaba Hazrat Fatima bint Habish ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir hui aur arz kiya ke mera khoon hamesha jari rehta hai, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya woh haiz nahi hai, woh to kisi rag ka khoon hoga, tumhen chahiye ke apne ayam ka andaza kar ke baith jaya karo, phir ghusl kar ke kapda bandh liya karo aur namaz parha karo.
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that once two Ansar came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) with a case of inheritance, for which they had no witnesses. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "You people come to me with your cases, and it may be that one of you is more eloquent and persuasive in presenting his argument than the other, and I give judgment in his favor based on that. (So remember) if I give judgment in favor of someone based on his statement and thereby give him something that belongs to his brother, then understand that I am giving him a burning ember to carry on the Day of Judgment." Hearing this, both of them began to cry and each one said, "It is my brother's right." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "If that is the case, then go and divide it between yourselves fairly, cast lots, and let each one of you deem it lawful for the other."

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ دوانصاری میراث کے مسئلے میں اپنا مقدمہ لے کر نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا جس پر ان کے پاس گواہ بھی نہ تھا، نبی ﷺ نے نے ارشاد فرمایا تم لوگ میرے پاس اپنے مقدمات لے کر آتے ہو، ہوسکتا ہے کہ تم میں سے کوئی شخص دوسرے کی نسبت اپنی دلیل ایسی فصاحت و بلاغت کے ساتھ پیش کردے کہ میں اس کی دلیل کی روشنی میں اس کے حق میں فیصلہ کردوں (اس لئے یاد رکھو) میں جس شخص کی بات تسلیم کر کے اس کے بھائی کے کسی حق کا اس کے لئے فیصلہ کرتا ہوں تو سمجھ لو کہ میں اس کے لئے آگ کا ٹکڑا کاٹ کر اسے دے رہا ہوں، جسے وہ قیامت کے دن اپنے گلے میں لٹکا کر لائے گا، یہ سن کر وہ دونوں رونے لگے اور ہر ایک کہنے لگا کہ یہ میرے بھائی کا حق ہے، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا اگر یہ بات ہے تو جا کر اسے تقسیم کرلو اور حق طریقے سے قرعہ اندازی کرلو اور ہر ایک دوسرے سے اپنے لئے حلال کروالو۔
Hazrat Umm Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki ek martaba do Ansaari miraas ke masle mein apna muqaddama lekar Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir hua jis par unke pass gawah bhi nahi tha, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya tum log mere pass apne muqaddamat lekar aate ho, ho sakta hai ki tum mein se koi shakhs dusre ki nisbat apni daleel aisi fasafat o balaghat ke saath pesh kare ki main uski daleel ki roshni mein uske haq mein faisla kar dun (is liye yaad rakho) main jis shakhs ki baat tasleem kar ke uske bhai ke kisi haq ka uske liye faisla karta hun to samjho ki main uske liye aag ka tukda kaat kar use de raha hun, jise wo qayamat ke din apne gale mein latka kar layega, yeh sunkar wo dono rone lage aur har ek kehne laga ki yeh mere bhai ka haq hai, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya agar yeh baat hai to ja kar use taqseem karlo aur haq tareeqe se qur'a andazi karlo aur har ek dusre se apne liye halal karwa lo.
Someone asked Aisha and Umm Salma (may Allah be pleased with them) which deed was most beloved to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). They replied, "That which is consistent, even if it is little."

حضرت عائشہ اور ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے کسی نے پوچھا کہ نبی ﷺ کے نزدیک سب سے پسندیدہ عمل کونسا تھا انہوں نے فرمایا جو ہمیشہ ہو اگرچہ تھوڑا ہو۔
Hazrat Aisha aur Umme Salma Razi Allahu Anha se kisi ne poocha ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke nazdeek sab se pasandida amal konsa tha unhon ne farmaya jo hamesha ho agarcha thora ho.
It is narrated by Umm Salama (RA) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to kiss me while I was fasting, and I would also be fasting.

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ مجھے روزہ کی حالت میں بوسہ دیدیتے تھے جب کہ میں بھی روزے سے ہوتی تھی۔
Hazrat Umm Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) mujhe roza ki halat mein bosa dete thay jab keh main bhi rozedaar hoti thi.
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The meaning of 'and they will not disobey you in righteousness' is that women should pledge allegiance on the condition that they will not wail (in mourning)."

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا ولا یعصینک فی معروف سے مراد یہ ہے عورتیں اس شرط پر بیعت کریں کہ وہ نوحہ نہیں کریں گی۔
Hazrat Umm Salma raziallahu anha se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya Wala ya'asinka fi ma'ruf se murad ye hai auratain is shart par bai'at karein ki woh noha nahin karengi.
