It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would recite this supplication after the Fajr prayer: "O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, accepted deeds, and lawful provision."

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نماز فجر کے بعد یہ دعا فرماتے تھے اے اللہ میں تجھ سے علم نافع، عمل مقبول اور رزق حلال کا سوال کرتا ہوں۔
Hazrat Umm Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) namaz fajr ke bad ye dua farmate thy Aye Allah mein tujh se ilm nafey amal maqbool aur rizq halal ka sawal karta hun.
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to her while she was wrapping a dupatta (scarf) around her head. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Wrap it only once, not twice (so that it does not resemble the turbans of men)."

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ ان کے پاس تشریف لائے تو وہ دوپٹہ اوڑھ رہی تھیں نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ اسے ایک ہی مرتبہ لپیٹنا دو مرتبہ نہیں (تاکہ مردوں کے عمامے کے ساتھ مشابہت نہ ہوجائے)
Hazrat Umm Salma RA se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi SAW un ke pas tashreef laye to wo dopatta odh rahi thi, Nabi SAW ne farmaya ki isse ek hi martaba lapetna do martaba nahi (taake mardon ke amame ke sath mushabat na ho jaye).
It is narrated by Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was praying in her room when Abdullah bin Umar began to pass in front of him. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gestured to him with his hand, so he stepped back. Then the daughter of Umm Salama began to pass, so the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stopped her too, but she passed in front of him. After finishing the prayer, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Women prevail."

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ ان کے حجرے میں نماز پڑھ رہے تھے کہ سامنے سے عبداللہ بن عمر گزرنے لگے نبی ﷺ نے اپنے ہاتھ سے انہیں اشارہ کیا تو وہ پیچھے ہٹ گئے، پھر حضرت ام سلمہ کی بیٹی گزرنے لگی تو نبی ﷺ نے اسے بھی روکا لیکن وہ آگے سے گزرگئی، نماز سے فارغ ہو کر نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا عورتیں غالب آجاتی ہیں۔
Hazrat Umm Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) unke hujre mein namaz parh rahe the ki samne se Abdullah bin Umar guzarne lage Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne apne hath se unhein ishara kiya to woh peeche hat gaye, phir Hazrat Umm Salma ki beti guzarne lagi to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne use bhi roka lekin woh aage se guzar gayi, namaz se farigh ho kar Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya auraten ghalib aajati hain.
Narrated by Aisha or Umm Salma (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to her, "An angel who has never come to me before came to me in my house and told me that this son of yours, Hussain, will be martyred. If you wish, I can show you the soil of the land where he will be martyred." Then he brought out some reddish soil and showed it to her.

حضرت عائشہ یا ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ان سے فرمایا میرے گھر میں ایک ایسا فرشتہ آیا جو اس سے پہلے میرے پاس کبھی نہیں آیا اور اس نے مجھے بتایا کہ آپ کا یہ بیٹا حسین شہید ہوجائے گا، اگر آپ چاہیں تو میں آپ کو اس زمین کی مٹی دکھا سکتا ہوں جہاں اسے شہید کیا جائے گا، پھر اس نے سرخ رنگ کی مٹی نکال کر دکھائی۔
Hazrat Ayesha ya Umm Salma Raziallahu Anha se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unse farmaya mere ghar mein ek aisa farishta aaya jo is se pehle mere pass kabhi nahin aaya aur usne mujhe bataya ki aap ka ye beta Hussain shaheed ho jayega, agar aap chahen to main aap ko is zameen ki mitti dikha sakta hun jahan use shaheed kiya jayega, phir usne surkh rang ki mitti nikal kar dikhai.
Narrated by Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her): Once I was with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) under a single blanket and my period started. I slipped away to attend to it. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked, "Are you menstruating?" I replied, "O Messenger of Allah, I am experiencing what women experience." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "This is what has been decreed for the daughters of Adam." I went, purified myself, tied a cloth around my waist, and then came back and slipped under the blanket with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ ایک لحاف میں تھی کہ مجھے ایام شروع ہوگئے، میں کھسکنے لگی تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کیا تمہیں ایام آنے لگے، میں نے کہا یا رسول اللہ مجھے بھی وہی کیفیت پیش آرہی ہے جو دوسری عورتوں کو پیش آتی ہے، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا یہ وہی چیز ہے جو حضرت آدم علیہ السلام کی تمام بیٹیوں کے لئے لکھ دی گئی ہے پھر میں وہاں سے چلی گئی اپنی حالت درست کی اور کپڑا باندھ لیا پھر آکر نبی ﷺ کے لحاف میں گھس گئی۔
Hazrat Umm e Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki ek martaba main Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath ek lihaf mein thi ki mujhe ayam shuru hogaye, main khiskne lagi to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya kya tumhen ayam aane lage, maine kaha Ya Rasulullah mujhe bhi wohi kefiyat pesh arahi hai jo dusri auraton ko pesh aati hai, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ye wohi cheez hai jo Hazrat Adam Alaihis Salam ki tamam betiyon ke liye likh di gayi hai phir main wahan se chali gayi apni halat durust ki aur kapda bandh liya phir aakar Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke lihaf mein ghus gayi.
Ya'la bin Mamlak said that I asked Umm Salama, may Allah be pleased with her, about the night prayer and recitation of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. She said: "Where are you and where is the prayer and recitation of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him? As long as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, would sleep, he would pray for that long, and as long as he would pray, he would sleep for that long." Then she described the way the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, would recite, which was with the clarification of each and every letter.

یعلی بن مملک کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کی رات کی نماز اور قرأت کے متعلق حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے پوچھا تو انہوں نے فرمایا تم کہاں اور نبی ﷺ کی نماز اور قرأت کہاں؟ نبی ﷺ جتنی دیرسوتے تھے اتنی دیر نماز پڑھتے تھے اور جتنی دیر نماز پڑھتے تھے اتنی دیرسوتے تھے پھر نبی ﷺ کی قرأت کی جو کیفیت انہوں نے بیان فرمائی وہ ایک ایک حرف کی وضاحت کے ساتھ تھی۔
Yaali bin Mamlik kahte hain keh maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki raat ki namaz aur qirat ke mutalliq Hazrat Umm Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se pucha to unhon ne farmaya tum kahan aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki namaz aur qirat kahan? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) jitni der sote the utni der namaz parhte the aur jitni der namaz parhte the utni der sote the phir Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki qirat ki jo kayfiyat unhon ne bayan farmai woh ek ek harf ki wazahat ke sath thi.
Hasan bin Muhammad narrates that a woman from the Ansar told me, and she is still alive; if you want I can take you to her or I can narrate it myself. The narrator said no, you narrate it yourself. So she said: Once I went to visit Umm Salama, may Allah be pleased with her, when the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, came in. He seemed to be angry. I covered myself with my headscarf. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said something that I couldn't understand. I asked Umm Salama, may Allah be pleased with her, "O Mother of the Believers, I see that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, came in angry. What was it about?" She said, "Yes. Did you hear what he said?" I said, "What did he say?" She said, "The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, 'When evil spreads in the land and cannot be stopped, Allah will send down His punishment upon the people of the Earth.'" I said, "O Messenger of Allah, will the righteous people also be included?" The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Yes, the righteous will also be included and the same calamity will befall them as the common people. Then Allah will snatch them up towards His forgiveness and pleasure."

حسن بن محمد کہتے ہیں کہ مجھے انصار کی ایک عورت نے بتایا ہے وہ اب بھی زندہ ہیں اگر تم چاہو تو ان سے پوچھ سکتے ہو اور میں تمہیں ان کے پاس لے چلتاہوں راوی نے کہا نہیں آپ خود ہی بیان کردیجئے کہ میں ایک مرتبہ حضرت ام سلمہ کے پاس گئی تو اسی دوران نبی ﷺ بھی ان کے یہاں تشریف لے آئے اور یوں محسوس ہو رہا تھا کہ نبی ﷺ غصے میں ہیں، میں نے اپنی قمیص کی آستین سے پردہ کرلیا، نبی ﷺ نے کوئی بات کی جو مجھے سمجھ نہ آئی میں نے حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے کہا کہ ام المؤمنین میں دیکھ رہی ہوں کہ نبی ﷺ غصے کی حالت میں تشریف لائے ہیں انہوں نے فرمایا ہاں کیا تم نے ان کی بات سنی ہے میں نے پوچھا کہ انہوں نے کیا فرمایا ہے انہوں نے بتایا کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا ہے جب زمین میں شرپھیل جائے گا تو اسے روکانہ جاسکے گا اور پھر اللہ اہل زمین پر اپنا عذاب بھیج دے گا میں نے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ اس میں نیک لوگ بھی شامل ہوں گے نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا ہاں اس میں نیک لوگ بھی شامل ہوں گے اور ان پر بھی وہی آفت آئے گی جو عام لوگوں پر آئے گی پھر اللہ تعالیٰ انہیں کھینچ کر اپنی مغفرت اور خوشنودی کی طرف لے جائے گا۔
Hasan bin Muhammad kahte hain ke mujhe Ansar ki ek aurat ne bataya hai wo ab bhi zinda hain agar tum chaho to unse puchh sakte ho aur main tumhen unke pas le chalta hun raavi ne kaha nahin aap khud hi bayan kar dijiye ke main ek martaba Hazrat Umm Salma ke pas gai to usi dauran Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) bhi unke yahan tashrif le aaye aur yun mehsoos ho raha tha ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ghusse mein hain, mainne apni qamis ki aastin se parda kar liya, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne koi baat ki jo mujhe samajh na aai mainne Hazrat Umm Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se kaha ke Umm ul Momineen main dekh rahi hun ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ghusse ki halat mein tashrif laaye hain unhon ne farmaya haan kya tumne unki baat suni hai mainne puchha ke unhon ne kya farmaya hai unhon ne bataya ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya hai jab zameen mein shar phail jayega to use roka na ja sakega aur phir Allah ahl zameen par apna azab bhej dega mainne arz kiya Ya Rasulallah ismein nek log bhi shamil honge Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya haan ismein nek log bhi shamil honge aur un par bhi wohi aafat aayegi jo aam logon par aayegi phir Allah Taala unhen khench kar apni magfirat aur khushnudi ki taraf le jayega.
Narrated by Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There will soon come six rulers, some of whose deeds you will consider good and some you will disapprove of. So whoever disapproves will be free from blame, and whoever voices his disapproval will be safe, except the one who approves of it and follows it (then his ruling is different)." The Companions asked, "O Messenger of Allah, should we not fight them?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "No, as long as they continue to establish the five daily prayers."

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا عنقریب چھ حکمران ایسے آئیں گے جن کی عادات میں سے بعض کو تم اچھا سمجھو گے اور بعض پر نکیر کروگے سو جو نکیر کرے گا وہ اپنی ذمہ داری سے بری ہوجائگا اور جو ناپسندیدگی کا اظہار کردے گا وہ محفوظ رہے گا، البتہ جو راضی ہو کر اس کے تابع ہوجائے (تو اس کا حکم دوسرا ہے) صحابہ نے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ کیا ہم ان سے قتال نہ کریں؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا نہیں جب تک وہ تمہیں پانچ نمازیں پڑھاتے رہیں۔
Hazrat Umm Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya anqareeb chhe hukmaran aise ayenge jin ki aadaton mein se baaz ko tum achha samjho ge aur baaz par nakir karoge so jo nakir karega wo apni zimmedari se bari hojaiga aur jo napasandeedagi ka izhaar kardega wo mahfooz rahega, albatta jo raazi hokar uske taabe hojae (to uska hukum dusra hai) Sahaba ne arz kiya ya Rasulullah kya hum unse qatal na karein? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya nahin jab tak wo tumhen panch namazain parhate rahen.
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sent her a marriage proposal. She submitted, "O Messenger of Allah, I don't have any guardian present here." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "None of your guardians, whether present or absent, would dislike it." She then said to her son, Umar bin Abi Salama, "Go and tell the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that I accept his proposal." So, he arranged her marriage with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) then said to her, "I will not give you any less than what I have given to your sisters (his other wives): two hand-mills, a water-skin, and a leather cushion stuffed with date-palm fibers."
After that, whenever the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would visit her for seclusion, she would see him and immediately take her daughter Zainab and make her sit in her lap. Eventually, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would leave without being intimate with her.
When Ammar bin Yasir, who was Umm Salama's foster brother, came to know about this, he came to Umm Salama and said, "Where is that filthy girl due to whom you are hurting the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)?" He then took Zainab with him.
This time, when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) arrived and entered the house, he looked around in all four corners of the room and asked, "Where is Zainab?" She replied, " Ammar came and took her with him." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) then had seclusion with her and said, "If you wish, I can spend seven days with you, but then I will have to spend seven days each with all my other wives."

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے انہیں پیغام نکاح بھیجا انہوں نے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ میرا تو کوئی ولی یہاں موجود نہیں ہے، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ تمہارے اولیاء میں سے کوئی بھی خواہ وہ غائب ہو یا حاضر اسے ناپسند نہیں کرے گا، انہوں نے اپنے بیٹے عمربن ابی سلمہ سے کہا کہ تم نبی ﷺ سے میرا نکاح کرا دو چنانچہ انہوں نے حضرت ام سلمہ کو نبی ﷺ کے نکاح میں دیدیا۔ پھر نبی ﷺ نے ان سے فرمایا کہ میں نے تمہاری بہنوں (اپنی بیویوں) کو جو کچھ دیا ہے تمہیں بھی اس سے کم نہیں دوں گا، دو چکیاں، ایک مشکیزہ اور چمڑے کا ایک تکیہ جس میں کھجور کی چھال بھری ہوئی تھی، اس کے بعد نبی ﷺ جب بھی ان کے پاس خلوت کے لئے آتے تو وہ نبی ﷺ کو دیکھتے ہی اپنی بیٹی زینب کو پکڑ کر اسے اپنی گود میں بٹھالیتی تھیں اور بالآخر نبی ﷺ یوں ہی واپس چلے جاتے تھے، حضرت عماربن یاسر جو کہ حضرت ام سلمہ کے رضاعی بھائی تھے، کو یہ بات معلوم ہوئی تو وہ حضرت ام سلمہ کے پاس آئے اور ان سے کہا کہ یہ گندی بچی کہاں ہے جس کے ذریعے تم نے نبی ﷺ کو ایذاء دے رکھی ہے اور اسے پکڑ کر اپنے ساتھ لے گئے۔ اس مرتبہ نبی ﷺ تشریف لائے اور گھر میں داخل ہوئے تو اس کمرے کے چاروں کونوں میں نظریں دوڑا کر دیکھنے لگے پھر بچی کے متعلق پوچھا کہ زناب (زینب) کہاں گئی؟ انہوں نے بتایا کہ حضرت عمار آئے تھے وہ اسے اپنے ساتھ لے گئے ہیں، پھر نبی ﷺ نے ان کے ساتھ خلوت کی اور فرمایا اگر تم چاہو تو میں تمہارے پاس سات دن گزارتا ہوں لیکن پھر اپنی دوسری بیویوں میں سے ہر ایک کے پاس بھی سات سات دن گزاروں گا۔
Hazrat Umme Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unhe paigham nikah bheja, unhon ne arz kiya Ya Rasulallah mera to koi wali yahan mojood nahi hai, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki tumhare auliya me se koi bhi chahe wo ghaib ho ya hazir use napasand nahi karega, unhon ne apne bete Umar bin Abi Salma se kaha ki tum Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se mera nikah kara do, chunanche unhon ne Hazrat Umme Salma ko Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke nikah me de diya. Phir Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unse farmaya ki maine tumhari behnun (apni biwiyon) ko jo kuch diya hai tumhe bhi us se kam nahi dunga, do chakkiyan, ek mashkiza aur chamde ka ek takiya jis me khajur ki chhal bhari hui thi, iske baad Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) jab bhi unke paas khalwat ke liye aate to wo Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko dekhte hi apni beti Zainab ko pakad kar use apni god me bitha leti thi aur balkhair Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) yun hi wapas chale jate the, Hazrat Ammar bin Yasir jo ki Hazrat Umme Salma ke rizayi bhai the, ko ye baat maloom hui to wo Hazrat Umme Salma ke pass aaye aur unse kaha ki ye gandi bachchi kahan hai jiske zariye tumne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ezah de rakhi hai aur use pakad kar apne sath le gaye. Is martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) tashreef laaye aur ghar me dakhil hue to is kamre ke chaaron konon me nazrein daura kar dekhne lage phir bachchi ke mutalliq puchha ki zanab (Zainab) kahan gayi? Unhon ne bataya ki Hazrat Ammar aaye the wo use apne sath le gaye hain, phir Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unke sath khalwat ki aur farmaya agar tum chaho to main tumhare pass saat din guzarta hun lekin phir apni dusri biwiyon me se har ek ke pass bhi saat saat din guzarunga.
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that on the night of the day of sacrifice (10th Dhul Hijjah) during the Hajj of Farewell, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was to come to my house. So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to me. During that time, Wahb bin Zam'ah also came to my place along with another man from the Bani Aamir tribe, and both of them were wearing shirts. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked Wahb: "O Abu Abdullah! Have you performed the Farewell Tawaf?" He replied: "O Messenger of Allah! Not yet." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Then take off your shirts." So both of them pulled their shirts off over their heads. Then they asked: "O Messenger of Allah! What is the reason for this?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied: "On this day, when you have finished stoning the Jamarat, everything that was forbidden to you is permissible, except women. However, if you are unable to perform the Farewell Tawaf before evening, then you will become Muhrim again, just as you were before stoning the Jamarat, until you perform the Farewell Tawaf."
Umm Qais said: “Once, I saw some people of Ukkashah bin Asad leaving my place. They were wearing shirts in the evening of the 10th of Dhul Hijjah. Then at night, they returned to me, carrying their shirts in their hands. I asked Ukkashah: “O Ukkashah! When you left from here, you were wearing shirts, but when you came back, you were carrying them in your hands." He replied: “Today we were given the concession that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: 'On this day, when you have finished stoning the Jamarat, everything that was forbidden to you is permissible, except women. However, if you are unable to perform the Farewell Tawaf before evening, then you will become Muhrim again, just as you were before stoning the Jamarat, until you perform the Farewell Tawaf.' Since we did not perform the Tawaf, that's why you are seeing our shirts like this."

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ حجۃ الوداع کے موقع پر جس رات نبی ﷺ نے میرے پاس آنا تھا وہ یوم النحر (دس ذی الحجہ) کی رات تھی، چنانچہ نبی ﷺ میرے پاس آگئے، اسی دوران میرے یہاں وہب بن زمعہ بھی آگئے جن کے ساتھ آل ابی امیہ کا ایک اور آدمی بھی تھا اور ان دونوں نے قمیصیں پہن رکھی تھیں، نبی ﷺ نے وہب سے پوچھا کہ اے ابو عبداللہ کیا تم نے طواف زیارت کرلیا ہے، انہوں نے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ ابھی تو نہیں، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا پھر اپنی قمیص اتاردو، چنانچہ ان دونوں نے اپنے سر سے کھینچ کر قمیص اتادری، پھر کہنے لگے یا رسول اللہ اس کی کیا وجہ ہے؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا اس دن جب تم جمرات کی رمی کر چکو تو عورتوں کے علاوہ ہر وہ چیز جو تم پر حرام کی گئی تھی حلال ہوجاتی ہے لیکن اگر شام تک تم طواف زیارت نہ کرسکو تو تم اسی طرح محرم بن جاتے ہو جیسے رمی جمرات سے پہلے تھے تاآنکہ تم طواف زیارت کرلو۔ ام قیس کہتی ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ حضرت عکاشہ بنواسد کے کچھ لوگوں کے ہمراہ میرے یہاں سے نکلے انہوں نے دس ذی الحجہ کی شام کو قمیصیں پہن رکھی تھیں، پھر رات کو وہ میرے پاس واپس آئے تو انہوں نے اپنی قمیص اپنے ہاتھوں میں اٹھا رکھی تھیں، میں نے عکاشہ سے پوچھا کہ اے عکاشہ جب تم یہاں سے گئے تھے تو قمیصیں پہن رکھی تھیں اور جب واپس آئے تو ہاتھوں میں اٹھائے ہوئے انہوں نے بتایا کہ اس دن ہمیں یہ رخصت دی گئی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا اس دن جب تم جمرات کی رمی کر چکو تو عورتوں کے علاوہ ہر وہ چیز جو تم پر حرام کی گئی تھی حلال ہوجاتی ہے لیکن اگر شام تک تم طواف زیارت نہ کرسکو تو تم اسی طرح محرم بن جاتے ہو جیسے رمی جمرات سے پہلے تھے تاآنکہ تم طواف زیارت کرلو ہم نے چونکہ طواف نہیں کیا تھا اس لئے تم ہماری قمیصیں اس طرح دیکھ رہی ہو۔
Hazrat Umm Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki Hajjat al-Wida ke mauqe par jis raat Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mere pass aana tha woh Yaum un-Nahr (das Zee al-Hijjah) ki raat thi, chunancha Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) mere pass agaye, isi dauran mere yahan Wohb bin Zam'ah bhi agaye jin ke sath Al-e-Abi Umayyah ka ek aur aadmi bhi tha aur un donon ne qamisen pehen rakhi thin, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Wohb se puchha ki aye Abu Abd Allah kya tum ne tawaf ziyarat karliya hai, unhon ne arz kiya Ya Rasul Allah abhi to nahin, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya phir apni qamis utaro, chunancha un donon ne apne sar se khench kar qamis utar di, phir kehne lage Ya Rasul Allah is ki kya wajah hai? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya is din jab tum jamarat ki rami kar chuko to auraton ke ilawa har woh cheez jo tum par haram ki gayi thi halal hojati hai lekin agar sham tak tum tawaf ziyarat na karsako to tum isi tarah muhrim ban jate ho jaise rami jamarat se pehle the ta'ankih tum tawaf ziyarat karlo. Umm Qais kehti hain ki ek martaba Hazrat Ukkasha bin Usayd ke kuchh logon ke hamrah mere yahan se nikle unhon ne das Zee al-Hijjah ki sham ko qamisen pehen rakhi thin, phir raat ko woh mere pass wapas aye to unhon ne apni qamis apne hathon mein uthaye rakhi thin, maine Ukkasha se puchha ki aye Ukkasha jab tum yahan se gaye the to qamisen pehen rakhi thin aur jab wapas aye to hathon mein uthaye huye unhon ne bataya ki us din hamen yeh rukhsat di gayi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya is din jab tum jamarat ki rami kar chuko to auraton ke ilawa har woh cheez jo tum par haram ki gayi thi halal hojati hai lekin agar sham tak tum tawaf ziyarat na karsako to tum isi tarah muhrim ban jate ho jaise rami jamarat se pehle the ta'ankih tum tawaf ziyarat karlo hum ne kyunki tawaf nahin kiya tha is liye tum hamari qamisen is tarah dekh rahi ho.
Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) reported: I asked, "O Messenger of Allah, how far down should women let their garments hang?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, "They can let them down a handspan." I said, "But then their legs will be exposed." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Then let them down a cubit, but no more than that."

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے بارگاہ رسالت میں عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ عورتیں اپنا دامن کتنالٹکائیں نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا تم لوگ ایک بالشت کے برابر اسے لٹکا سکتی ہو میں نے عرض کیا کہ اس طرح تو ان کی پنڈلیاں کھل جائیں گی؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ پھر ایک گزلٹکا لو اس سے زیادہ نہیں۔
Hazrat Umm Salma raziallahu anha se marvi hai ki maine bargah risalat mein arz kiya Ya Rasulullah aurten apna daaman kitna latkayen? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya tum log ek balisht ke barabar use latka sakti ho. Maine arz kiya ki is tarah to un ki pindliyan khul jayengi? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki phir ek gaz latka lo is se ziada nahi.
Abu Qais says that once Abdullah bin Amr sent him to Umm Salama to ask her if the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to kiss while fasting. If she said no, he was to tell her that Aisha says that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to kiss her while fasting. So Abu Qais asked her, and she said no. Abu Qais then mentioned what Aisha had said. Umm Salama said, "Maybe he did kiss her, because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, loved her very much. But he never did that with me."

ابوقیس کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ مجھے حضرت عبداللہ بن عمرو نے حضرت ام سلمہ کے پاس یہ پوچھنے کے لئے بھیجا کہ کیا نبی ﷺ روزے کی حالت میں بوسہ دیتے تھے؟ اگر وہ نفی میں جواب دیں تو ان سے کہنا کہ حضرت عائشہ تو لوگوں کو بتاتی ہیں کہ نبی ﷺ روزے کی حالت میں انہیں بوسہ دیا کرتے تھے؟ چنانچہ ابوقیس نے یہ سوال ان سے پوچھا تو انہوں نے نفی میں جواب دیا ابوقیس نے حضرت عائشہ کا حوالہ دیا تو حضرت ام سلمہ نے فرمایا ہوسکتا ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے انہیں بوسہ دیا ہو کیونکہ نبی ﷺ ان سے بہت جذباتی محبت فرمایا کرتے تھے البتہ میرے ساتھ کبھی ایسا نہیں ہوا۔
Abu Qais kahte hain ke aik martaba mujhe Hazrat Abdullah bin Amro ne Hazrat Umm Salma ke pass yeh pochne ke liye bheja ke kya Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) rozy ki halat mein bosa dete thy? Agar woh nafi mein jawab dein to unse kehna ke Hazrat Ayesha to logon ko batati hain ke Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) rozy ki halat mein unhen bosa diya karte thy? Chunache Abu Qais ne yeh sawal unse poocha to unhon ne nafi mein jawab diya. Abu Qais ne Hazrat Ayesha ka hawala diya to Hazrat Umm Salma ne farmaya ho sakta hai ke Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ne unhen bosa diya ho kyonke Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) unse bohat jazbati muhabbat farmaya karte thy. Albatta mere sath kabhi aisa nahi hua.
Uthman ibn Abdullah said: Once we visited Umm Salamah, and she brought out for us a hair of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, which had been dyed with henna and katam, so it was reddish.

عثمان بن عبداللہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ ہم لوگ حضرت ام سلمہ کے پاس گئے تو انہوں نے ہمارے سامنے نبی ﷺ کا ایک بال نکال کر دکھایا جو کہ مہندی اور وسمہ سے رنگا ہوا ہونے کی وجہ سے سرخ ہوچکا تھا۔
Usman bin Abdullah kehte hain ki ek martaba hum log Hazrat Umm Salma ke paas gaye to unhon ne humare samne Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ka ek baal nikaal kar dikhaya jo ki mehendi aur wasma se ranga hua hone ki waja se surkh ho chuka tha.
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to me, "Clean our sitting place well, for an angel who has never descended before will descend to earth today."

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے مجھ سے فرمایا ہماری بیٹھک کو خوب صاف ستھرا کرلو کیونکہ آج زمین پر ایک ایسا فرشتہ اترنے والا ہے جو اس سے پہلے کبھی نہیں اترا۔
Hazrat Umm Salma raziallahu anha se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mujh se farmaya hamari baithak ko khoob saaf suthra karlo kyunki aaj zameen par ek aisa farishta utrne wala hai jo is se pehle kabhi nahi utra.
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that once she and Maimoona (may Allah be pleased with her) were sitting with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) when Ibn Umm Maktum (may Allah be pleased with him) came to visit. This was after the commandment of Hijab (veiling) had been revealed. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Observe the Hijab from him." We submitted: "O Messenger of Allah! Is he not blind? He cannot see us, nor recognize us." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "What! Are you two also blind? Do you not see him?"

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں اور حضرت میمونہ نبی ﷺ کے پاس بیٹھی ہوئی تھیں کہ اسی اثناء میں حضرت ابن ام مکتوم آگئے، یہ اس وقت کا واقعہ ہے جب کہ حجاب کا حکم نازل ہوچکا تھا نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا ان سے پردہ کرو ہم نے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ کیا یہ نابینا نہیں ہیں؟ یہ ہمیں دیکھ سکتے ہیں اور نہ ہی پہچان سکتے ہیں؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا تو کیا تم دونوں بھی نابیناہو؟ کیا تم دونوں انہیں نہیں دیکھ رہی ہو؟
Hazrat Umm Salma razi Allah anha se marvi hai ki aik martaba main aur Hazrat Maimoona Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke pass bethi hui thin ki isi asna mein Hazrat Ibn Umm Maktoom aa gaye yeh us waqt ka waqea hai jab ki hijab ka hukum nazil ho chuka tha Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya in se parda karo hum ne arz kiya Ya Rasul Allah kya yeh nabina nahin hain yeh hamen dekh sakte hain aur na hi pahchan sakte hain Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya to kya tum donon bhi nabina ho kya tum donon inhen nahin dekh rahi ho
It is narrated on the authority of Umme Salma (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) visited her while she was wrapping her headscarf. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Wrap it only once, not twice (so that it does not resemble the turbans of men)."

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ ان کے پاس تشریف لائے تو وہ دوپٹہ اوڑھ رہی تھیں، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ اسے ایک ہی مرتبہ لپیٹنا دو مرتبہ نہیں (تاکہ مردوں کے عمامے کے ساتھ مشابہت نہ ہوجائے)
Hazrat Umm e Salma RA se marvi hai ki aik martaba Nabi SAW un k paas tashreef laye to wo dopatta odh rahi thin, Nabi SAW ne farmaya ki isay aik hi martaba lapetna do martaba nahi (taake mardon ke amame ke sath mushabat na ho jaye).
Uthman ibn Abdullah narrated that once we went to Umm Salama and she brought out a hair of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and showed it to us, which had become red due to being dyed with henna and indigo.

عثمان بن عبداللہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ ہم لوگ حضرت ام سلمہ کے پاس گئے تو انہوں نے ہمارے سامنے نبی ﷺ کا ایک بال نکال کر دکھایا جو کہ مہندی اور وسمہ سے رنگا ہوا ہونے کیوجہ سے سرخ ہوچکا تھا۔
Usman bin Abdullah kehte hain ki ek martaba hum log Hazrat Umm Salma ke paas gaye tou unhon ne humare samne Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ka ek baal nikaal kar dikhaya jo keh mehendi aur wasma se ranga hua hone ki waja se surkh ho chuka tha.
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was in her house when the servant came and informed that Ali and Fatima were at the door. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to me, "Leave my family alone with me for a while." I got up from there and sat down nearby. Meanwhile, Fatima, Ali and both Hassan and Hussain also came. They were both young children. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) took them and made them sit on his lap and started kissing them. Then, bringing Ali closer with one hand and Fatima with the other, he kissed both of them. After this, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) took the rest of the sheet and covered them all with it, and taking his hand out, pointed towards the sky and said, "O Allah, I entrust to You, not to Hellfire, myself and my family." Upon this, I entered my head into that room and submitted, "O Messenger of Allah, I am also with you." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "You too."

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ ان کے گھر میں تھے کہ خادم نے آکر بتایا کہ حضرت علی اور حضرت فاطمہ دروازے پر ہیں نبی ﷺ نے مجھ سے فرمایا تھوڑی دیر کے لئے میرے اہل بیت کو میرے پاس تنہا چھوڑ دو، میں وہاں سے اٹھ کر قریب ہی جا کر بیٹھ گئی، اتنی دیر میں حضرت فاطمہ حضرت علی اور حضرات حسنین بھی آگئے وہ دونوں چھوٹے بچے تھے، نبی ﷺ نے انہیں پکڑ کر اپنی گود میں بٹھالیا اور انہیں چومنے لگے پھر ایک ہاتھ سے حضرت علی کو اور دوسرے سے حضرت فاطمہ کو اپنے قریب کرکے دونوں کو بوسہ دیا۔ اس کے بعد نبی ﷺ نے چادر کا بقیہ حصہ لے کر ان سب پر ڈال دیا اور اپنا ہاتھ باہر نکال کر آسمان کی طرف اشارہ کرکے فرمایا اے اللہ تیرے حوالے نہ کہ جہنم کے میں اور میرے اہل بیت، اس پر میں نے اس کمرے میں اپنا سر داخل کرکے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ میں بھی تو آپ کے ساتھ ہوں، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا تم بھی۔
Hazrat Umm Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) unke ghar mein the ki khadim ne aakar bataya ki Hazrat Ali aur Hazrat Fatima darwaze par hain Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mujhse farmaya thori der ke liye mere ahle bait ko mere pass tanha chhor do main wahan se uth kar qareeb hi ja kar baith gayi itni der mein Hazrat Fatima Hazrat Ali aur Hazrat Hasanain bhi agaye wo dono chhote bache the Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unhen pakar kar apni god mein bithaliya aur unhen chumne lage phir ek hath se Hazrat Ali ko aur dusre se Hazrat Fatima ko apne qareeb karke dono ko bosa diya iske baad Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne chadar ka baqiya hissa lekar un sab par daal diya aur apna hath bahar nikal kar aasman ki taraf ishara karke farmaya aye Allah tere hawale na ki jahannam ke main aur mere ahle bait is par maine is kamre mein apna sar dakhil karke arz kiya ya Rasul Allah main bhi to aapke sath hun Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya tum bhi.
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would finish the prayer and say the Salam, the women would get up as soon as his Salam ended. And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would remain seated for a short while before standing up.

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ جب سلام پھیرتے تو نبی ﷺ کا سلام ختم ہوتے ہی خواتین اٹھنے لگتی تھیں اور نبی ﷺ کھڑے ہونے سے پہلے کچھ دیر اپنی جگہ پر ہی رک جاتے تھے۔
Hazrat Umm Salma RA se marvi hai ki Nabi SAW jab salam pherte to Nabi SAW ka salam khatam hote hi khawateen uthne lagti thin aur Nabi SAW khare hone se pehle kuch der apni jagah par hi ruk jate the.
It is narrated by Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The best mosque for women is the innermost part of their houses.

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا عورتوں کی سب سے بہترین مسجد ان کے گھرکا آخری کمرہ ہے۔
Hazrat Umm Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya auraton ki sab se behtarin masjid un ke ghar ka akhri kamra hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to the funeral of Abu Salama (may Allah be pleased with him), whose eyes had remained open. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) closed them and said, "When the soul is seized, the eyes follow it." Meanwhile, some of the people in the house started crying and wailing. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Pray only for good for yourselves, for the angels say 'Amen' to your prayer." Then he said, "O Allah, forgive Abu Salama, elevate his status among those who are guided, grant him a successor among those he has left behind, and forgive us and him, O Sustainer of all the worlds. O Allah, make his grave spacious and illuminate it for him."

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ حضرت ابوسلمہ کی میت پر تشریف لائے، ان کی آنکھیں کھلی رہ گئی تھیں، نبی ﷺ انہیں بند کیا اور فرمایا جب روح قبض ہوجاتی ہے تو آنکھیں اس کا تعاقب کرتی ہیں، اسی دوران گھرکے کچھ لوگ رونے چیخنے لگے، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا اپنے متعلق خیر کی ہی دعا مانگا کرو، کیونکہ ملائکہ تمہاری دعا پر آمین کہتے ہیں، پھر فرمایا اے اللہ ابوسلمہ کی بخشش فرما، ہدایت یافتہ لوگوں میں ان کا درجہ بلند فرما، پیچھے رہ جانیوالوں میں اس کا کوئی جانشین پیدا فرما اور اے تمام جہانوں کو پالنے والے ہماری اور اس کی بخشش فرما، اے اللہ اس کی قبر کو کشادہ فرما اور اسے اس کے لئے منور فرما۔
Hazrat Umm e Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Hazrat Abu Salma ki mayyat par tashreef laaye, un ki aankhen khuli reh gayi thin, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) unhen band kiya aur farmaya jab rooh qabz hojati hai to aankhen iska taaqqub karti hain, isi dauran ghar ke kuch log rone cheekhne lage, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya apne mutalliq khair ki hi dua maanga karo, kyunki malaika tumhari dua par ameen kehte hain, phir farmaya aye Allah Abu Salma ki bakhshish farma, hidayat yaafta logon mein unka darja buland farma, peechhe reh jaane walon mein iska koi jaanishin paida farma aur aye tamam jahaanom ko palne wale hamari aur iski bakhshish farma, aye Allah iski qabr ko kushada farma aur ise iske liye munawwar farma.
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed away, most of his prayers were offered while sitting.

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کا جس وقت وصال ہوا تو آپ ﷺ کی اکثر نمازیں بیٹھ کر ہوتی تھیں۔
Hazrat Umm Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ka jis waqt wisal hua to aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki aksar namazain beth kar hoti thin.
Narrated by Umme Salma (may Allah be pleased with her) that once, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) woke up from his sleep at night and was saying: "There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah. How many treasures have been opened tonight! There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah. How many trials have descended tonight! Who will wake up the dwellers of those rooms? Alas, how many women are there in the world who wear clothes but will be naked in the Hereafter."

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ رات کو نیند سے بیدار ہوئے تو یہ فرما رہے تھے لا الہ الا اللہ آج رات کتنے خزانے کھولے گئے ہیں لا الہ الا اللہ آج رات کتنے فتنے نازل ہوئے ہیں، ان حجرے والیوں کو کون جگائے گا ہائے دنیا میں کتنی ہی کپڑے پہننے والی عورتیں ہیں جو آخرت میں برہنہ ہوں گی۔
Hazrat Umm Salma Raziallahu Anha se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) raat ko neend se bedaar hue to ye farma rahe the La ilaha illallah aaj raat kitne khazane khole gaye hain La ilaha illallah aaj raat kitne fitne nazil hue hain, in hajre walon ko kaun jagayega haye duniya mein kitni hi kapde pehenne wali aurten hain jo akhirat mein barahna hongi.
Narrated by Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that she heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying on the pulpit, “O people!” She was combing her hair at that time. She said to her hairdresser, “Gather my hair.” She replied, “May I be sacrificed for you! The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) is addressing the people.” Umm Salama said, “Aren't we among the people?” She gathered her hair and Umm Salama went to her room and stood there. She heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying, “O people! When I will be waiting for you at the Basin and you will be brought to me in groups, and you will go astray in the paths, I will call out to you, saying: ‘Come towards the path!’ Then a caller behind me will call out: ‘They have changed the religion after you.’ I will say, ‘Away with these people! Away with these people!’”

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ انہوں نے نبی ﷺ کو برسرمنبریہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا اے لوگو اس وقت وہ کنگھی کر رہی تھیں انہوں نے اپنی کنگھی کرنیوالی سے فرمایا میرے سرکے بال لپیٹ دو اس نے کہا کہ میں آپ پر قربان ہوں نبی ﷺ تو لوگوں سے خطاب کر رہے ہیں، حضرت ام سلمہ نے فرمایا اری کیا ہم لوگوں میں شامل نہیں ہیں؟ اس نے ان کے بال سمیٹے اور وہ اپنے حجرے میں جا کر کھڑی ہوگئیں، انہوں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا اے لوگو جس وقت میں حوض پر تمہارا منتظر ہوں گا اور تمہیں گروہ درگروہ لایا جائے گا اور تم راستوں میں بھٹک جاؤگے، میں تمہیں آواز دے کر کہوں گا کہ راستے کی طرف آجاؤ تو میرے پیچھے سے ایک منادی پکار کر کہے گا انہوں نے آپ کے بعد دین کو تبدیل کردیا تھا، میں کہوں گا کہ یہ لوگ دور ہوجائیں یہ لوگ دور ہوجائیں۔
Hazrat Umm e Salma Radi Allaho Anha se marvi hai ki unhon ne Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ko barsar mimbariya farmate huye suna aye logo is waqt wo kanghi kar rahi thin unhon ne apni kanghi karne wali se farmaya mere sar ke baal lapet do us ne kaha ki main aap par qurban hun Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam to logon se khitab kar rahe hain Hazrat Umm e Salma ne farmaya are kya hum logon mein shamil nahin hain us ne un ke baal samete aur wo apne hujre mein ja kar khadi ho gayin unhon ne Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ko ye farmate huye suna aye logo jis waqt main hauz par tumhara muntazir hun ga aur tumhen giroh dar giroh laya jaye ga aur tum raston mein bhatak jaoge main tumhen awaz de kar kahun ga ki raste ki taraf aa jao to mere piche se ek munadi pukar kar kahe ga unhon ne aap ke baad deen ko tabdeel kar diya tha main kahun ga ki ye log door ho jayen ye log door ho jayen.
Ya'la bin Mamlak said: I asked Umm Salama, may Allah be pleased with her, about the night prayer and recitation of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. She said: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, would pray and recite after the Isha prayer for as long as he would sleep, and he would sleep for as long as he would pray, and then the Prophet's prayer, peace and blessings be upon him, would end in the morning.

یعلی بن مملک کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کی رات کی نماز اور قرأت کے متعلق حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے پوچھا تو انہوں نے فرمایا نبی ﷺ عشاء کی نماز اور نوافل پڑھ کر جتنی دیرسوتے تھے اتنی دیر نماز پڑھتے تھے اور جتنی دیر نماز پڑھتے تھے اتنی دیرسوتے تھے پھر نبی ﷺ کی نماز کا اختتام صبح پر ہوتا تھا۔
Yaali bin Mamlik kehte hain ke maine Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ki raat ki namaz aur qirat ke mutalliq Hazrat Umm Salma (Razi Allah Tala Anha) se pucha to unhon ne farmaya Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) Isha ki namaz aur nawafil parh kar jitni dair sote the utni dair namaz parhte the aur jitni dair namaz parhte the utni dair sote the phir Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ki namaz ka ikhtetam subah par hota tha.
Abu Imran Aslam said: I went for Hajj with my masters. I visited the wife of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), the respected Umm Salamah, and asked: "Can I perform Umrah before Hajj?" She said: "If you want to perform Umrah before Hajj, do it before Hajj, and if you want to do it after, do it after." I said: "Some people say that for a person who has not performed Hajj, it is not correct to perform Umrah before Hajj." Then I asked other Mothers of the Believers the same question, and they gave the same answer. So, I went back to Umm Salamah and told her their answer. She said: "Good, I will satisfy you. I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: 'O family of Muhammad, assume Ihram for Hajj and Umrah together."

ابوعمران اسلم کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ میں اپنے مالکوں کے ساتھ حج کے لئے گیا میں نبی ﷺ کی زوجہ محترمہ حضرت ام سلمہ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا اور عرض کیا کہ کیا میں حج سے پہلے عمرہ کرسکتا ہوں؟ انہوں نے فرمایا حج سے پہلے عمرہ کرنا چاہو تو حج سے پہلے کرلو اور بعد میں کرنا چاہو تو بعد میں کرلو، میں نے عرض کیا کہ بعض لوگ کہتے ہیں کہ جس شخص نے حج نہ کیا ہو اس کے لئے حج سے پہلے عمرہ کرنا صحیح نہیں ہے پھر میں نے دیگر امہات المؤمنین سے یہی مسئلہ پوچھا تو انہوں نے بھی یہی جواب دیا، چنانچہ میں حضرت ام سلمہ کے پاس واپس آیا اور انہیں ان کا جواب بتایا، انہوں نے فرمایا اچھا میں تمہاری تشفی کردیتی ہوں میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ اے آل محمد ﷺ حج کے ساتھ عمرے کا احرام باندھ لو۔
Abu Imran Aslam kehte hain ke ek martaba main apne malikon ke sath Hajj ke liye gaya main Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ki زوجہ محترمہ Hazrat Umm Salma ki khidmat mein hazir hua aur arz kiya ke kya main Hajj se pehle Umrah kar sakta hun? Unhon ne farmaya Hajj se pehle Umrah karna chaho to Hajj se pehle karlo aur baad mein karna chaho to baad mein karlo, main ne arz kiya ke baaz log kehte hain ke jis shakhs ne Hajj na kiya ho uske liye Hajj se pehle Umrah karna sahih nahin hai phir main ne deegar Ummahaatul Momineen se yahi masla poocha to unhon ne bhi yahi jawab diya, chunancha main Hazrat Umm Salma ke pass wapas aaya aur unhen unka jawab bataya, unhon ne farmaya achha main tumhari tashaffi kar deti hun main ne Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ko ye farmate huye suna hai ke Aye Aal-e-Muhammad ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) Hajj ke sath Umrah ka ehram bandh lo.
Narrated by Umme Salma (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Some of my companions will be such that after my separation from them, they will never be able to see me again." Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) rushed to Umme Salma's house and entered and said, "Tell me, by Allah, am I one of them?" She replied, "No, but after you I cannot say this about anyone."

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا میرے بعض ساتھی ایسے بھی ہونگے کہ میری ان سے جدائی ہونے کے بعد وہ مجھے دوبارہ کبھی نہ دیکھ سکیں گے، حضرت عمر خود حضرت ام سلمہ کے پاس تیزی سے پہنچے اور گھر میں داخل ہو کر فرمایا اللہ کی قسم کھا کر بتائیے کیا میں بھی ان میں سے ہوں؟ انہوں نے فرمایا نہیں لیکن آپ کے بعد میں کسی کے متعلق یہ بات نہیں کہہ سکتی۔
Hazrat Umm Salma raziallahu anha se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya mere baaz sathi aise bhi honge ki meri in se judai hone ke baad wo mujhe dobara kabhi na dekh sakenge Hazrat Umar khud Hazrat Umm Salma ke paas tezi se pahunche aur ghar mein dakhil ho kar farmaya Allah ki kasam kha kar bataiye kya mein bhi in mein se hun Unhon ne farmaya nahin lekin aap ke baad mein kisi ke mutalliq ye baat nahin kah sakti
It is narrated by Umm Salama, may Allah be pleased with her, that when she was informed of the martyrdom of Imam Hussain, she cursed the people of Iraq, saying that they martyred Hussain, may Allah's wrath be upon them. They deceived and cornered Hussain, may Allah's wrath be upon them. I have witnessed a time when once the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, was in their house, and Fatima brought a pot of stew. The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, asked her to also call her husband and children. So, Ali and Hassan and Hussain came and sat down to eat the stew. The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, was at that time in a state of sleep, resting on a pillow. Underneath his blessed body was a sheet from Khayber, and I was offering prayer in the room. At that very moment, Allah revealed this verse: "Indeed, Allah desires to repel all impurity from you, O People of the Household, and to purify you with a thorough purification." Then, the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, took the remaining part of the sheet and covered them all with it. He raised his hand towards the sky and said: "O Allah, these are my family, my Ahlul Bayt. Remove impurity from them and purify them thoroughly." He made this supplication twice. Upon this, I entered my head into the room and submitted, "O Messenger of Allah, am I not from your household?" The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said, "Why not? Come under the sheet." So, I too entered under the sheet after the Prophet's supplication.

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ جب انہیں حضرت امام حسین کی شہادت کا علم ہوا تو انہوں نے اہل عراق پر لعنت بھیجتے ہوئے فرمایا کہ انہوں نے حسین کو شہید کردیا ان پر اللہ کی مار ہو انہوں نے حسین کو دھوکہ دے کر تنگ کیا ان پر اللہ کی مار ہو، میں نے وہ وقت دیکھا ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ ان کے گھر میں تھے کہ حضرت فاطمہ ایک ہنڈیا لے کر آگئیں جس میں خزیرہ تھا، نبی ﷺ نے ان سے فرمایا کہ اپنے شوہر اور بچوں کو بھی بلالاؤ چنانچہ حضرت علی اور حضرات حسنین بھی آگئے اور بیٹھ کر وہ خزیرہ کھانے لگے نبی ﷺ اس وقت ایک چبوترے پر نیند کی حالت میں تھے نبی ﷺ کے جسم مبارک کے نیچے خیبر کی ایک چادر تھی اور میں حجرے میں نماز پڑھ رہی تھی کہ اسی دوران اللہ نے یہ آیت نازل فرمادی اے اہل بیت اللہ تو تم سے گندگی کو دور کر کے تمہیں خوب صاف ستھرا بنانا چاہتا ہے۔ اس کے بعد نبی ﷺ نے چادر کا بقیہ حصہ لے کر ان سب پر ڈال دیا اور اپنا ہاتھ باہر نکال کر آسمان کی طرف اشارہ کر کے فرمایا اے اللہ یہ لوگ میرے اہل بیت اور میرا خام مال ہیں تو ان سے گندگی کو دور کر کے انہیں خوب صاف ستھرا کردے، دو مرتبہ یہ دعا کی اس پر میں نے اس کمرے میں اپنا سر داخل کر کے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ کیا میں آپ کے اہل خانہ میں سے نہیں ہوں؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کیوں نہیں تم بھی چادر میں آجاؤ چنانچہ میں بھی نبی ﷺ کی دعاء کے بعد اس میں داخل ہوگئی۔
Hazrat Umme Salma Razi Allah Anha se marvi hai ki jab unhen Hazrat Imam Hussain ki shahadat ka ilm hua to unhon ne ahl Iraq par lanat bhejte hue farmaya ki unhon ne Hussain ko shaheed kardiya un par Allah ki maar ho unhon ne Hussain ko dhoka de kar tang kiya un par Allah ki maar ho, maine wo waqt dekha hai ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) un ke ghar mein the ki Hazrat Fatima ek handi la kar aayin jis mein khazira tha, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne un se farmaya ki apne shohar aur bachon ko bhi bulalao chunancha Hazrat Ali aur Hazrat-e-Hasnain bhi aaye aur baith kar wo khazira khane lage Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) us waqt ek chabutre par neend ki halat mein the Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke jism mubarak ke niche Khaibar ki ek chadar thi aur main hujre mein namaz padh rahi thi ki usi dauran Allah ne ye aayat nazil farmadin Ae ahl-e-bait Allah tum se gandagi ko door kar ke tumhen khoob saaf sathra banana chahta hai. Is ke baad Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne chadar ka baqiya hissa le kar un sab par daal diya aur apna hath bahar nikal kar aasman ki taraf ishara kar ke farmaya Ae Allah ye log mere ahl-e-bait aur mera khaal maal hain to un se gandagi ko door kar ke unhen khoob saaf sathra karde, do martaba ye dua ki is par maine is kamre mein apna sar dakhil kar ke arz kiya Ya Rasulullah kya main aap ke ahl-e-khana mein se nahi hun? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya kyun nahi tum bhi chadar mein aajao chunancha main bhi Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki duaa ke baad is mein dakhil hogayi.
It is narrated by Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that once Fatima (may Allah be pleased with her) came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) with a request for a servant. She said, "O Messenger of Allah! My hands are calloused from grinding flour and kneading dough." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "If Allah wished to give you something, He would have given it to you. However, at this time, I will tell you something better than that. When you lie down on your bed, say 'Subhanallah' 33 times, 'Allahu Akbar' 33 times, and 'Alhamdulillah' 34 times. This makes a hundred. These words are better for you than a servant. And when you pray Fajr, say ten times after it and ten times after Maghrib prayer, 'La ilaha illallah, wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, yuhyi wa yumit, wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadir. (There is no deity worthy of worship but Allah. He is One, and there is no partner with Him; to Him belongs dominion and to Him belongs all praise. He gives life and causes death, and He is over all things competent). For each of these words, ten good deeds will be written for you, ten sins will be erased, and the reward of each one will be equal to freeing a slave from the children of Ismail. And no sin will be able to touch you that day except for shirk. And from morning, when you say these words, they will become a protection for you against every devil and evil until the evening."

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ حضرت فاطمہ نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں ایک خادمہ کی درخواست لے کر آئیں اور عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ چکی پر آٹا پیس پیس کر اور اسے گوندھ گوندھ کر ہاتھوں میں گٹے پڑگئے ہیں، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا اگر اللہ نے تمہیں کچھ دینا ہوا تو وہ تمہیں مل کر رہے گا، البتہ اس وقت میں تمہیں اس سے بہترین چیز بتاتا ہوں جب تم اپنے بستر پر لیٹا کرو تو ٣٣ مرتبہ سبحان اللہ، ٣٣ مرتبہ اللہ اکبر اور ٣٤ مرتبہ الحمد للہ کہہ لیا کرو یہ کل سو ہوگئے یہ کلمات تمہارے حق میں خادم سے بھی بہتر ہیں اور جب فجر کی نماز پڑھا کرو تو دس مرتبہ نماز فجر کے بعد اور دس مرتبہ نماز مغرب کے بعد یہ کہہ لیا کرو لا الہ الا اللہ وحدہ لاشریک لہ لہ الملک ولہ الحمد یحی ویمیت بیدہ الخیروہوعلی کل چیز قدیر تو ان میں سے ہر کلمے کے بدلے تمہارے لئے دس نیکیاں لکھی جائیں گی، دس گناہ مٹادیئے جائیں گے اور ان میں سے ہر ایک کا ثواب اولاد اسماعیل میں سے ایک غلام آزاد کرنے کے برابر ہوگا اور شرک کے علاوہ اس دن کا کوئی گناہ تمہیں پکڑ نہ سکے گا اور صبح جس وقت تم یہ کلمات کہوگی تو شام تک ہر شیطان اور برائی سے تمہاری حفاظت کا ذریعہ بن جائیں گے۔
Hazrat Umme Salma Raziallahu Anha se marvi hai ki aik martaba Hazrat Fatima Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein ek khadima ki darkhwast lekar aaeen aur arz kiya Ya Rasul Allah chakki par aata pees pees kar aur use gondh gondh kar hathon mein gate pad gaye hain, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya agar Allah ne tumhe kuch dena hua to woh tumhe mil kar rahega, albatta is waqt mein tumhe is se behtarin cheez batata hun jab tum apne bistar par laita karo to 33 martaba Subhan Allah, 33 martaba Allahu Akbar aur 34 martaba Alhamdulillah kaha liya karo yeh kul 100 ho gaye yeh kalmat tumhare haq mein khadim se bhi behtar hain aur jab Fajar ki namaz parha karo to 10 martaba Namaz e Fajar ke baad aur 10 martaba Namaz e Maghrib ke baad yeh keh liya karo La Ilaha Illallah Wahdahu La Sharika Lahu Lahul Mulku Walahul Hamdu Yuhi Wa Yumeetu Biyadihil Khairu Wa Huwa Ala Kulli Shai'in Qadeer to in mein se har kalme ke badle tumhare liye 10 nekiyan likhi jaengi, 10 gunaah mita diye jaenge aur in mein se har aik ka sawab Aulad Ismail mein se ek ghulam azad karne ke barabar hoga aur shirk ke alawa is din ka koi gunah tumhe pakad na sakega aur subah jis waqt tum yeh kalmat kahogi to sham tak har shaitan aur burai se tumhari hifazat ka zariya ban jaenge.
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that sometimes the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would become obliged to perform Ghusl (ritual bath). Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would lie down like this, then his eyes would open and then he would go back to sleep.

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ بعض اوقات نبی ﷺ پر اختیاری طور پر غسل واجب ہوتا پھر نبی ﷺ یوں ہی سوجاتے پھر آنکھ کھلتی اور پھر سوجاتے۔
Hazrat Umm Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai keh baaz auqat Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) par ikhtiyari tor par ghusl wajib hota phir Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) yun hi sojate phir aankh khulti aur phir sojate.
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to offer two rak'ahs (of prayer) after finishing the Witr (prayer).

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ وترکے بعد بیٹھ کردو رکعتیں پڑھتے تھے۔
Hazrat Umm Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) witr ke bad baith kar do rakaten padhte the.
It is narrated by Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave a piece of cloth from her waist belt, equal to the size of a pillow, to Fatima.

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ان کے کمربند میں سے ایک بالشت کے برابر کپڑا حضرت فاطمہ کو دیا تھا۔
Hazrat Umm Salma raziallahu anha se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne un ke kamarband mein se ek balisht ke barabar kapda Hazrat Fatima ko diya tha.
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade building a solid structure over a grave or plastering it with lime.

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے قبر پر پختہ عمارت بنانے یا اس پر چونا لگانے سے منع فرمایا ہے۔
Hazrat Umm Salma Radi Allah Anha se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne kabar par pakka imarat banane ya us par choona lagane se mana farmaya hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade building a solid structure on a grave, or plastering it (with lime), or sitting on it.

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے قبر پر پختہ عمارت بنانے یا اس پر چونا لگانے (یا اس پر بیٹھنے) سے منع فرمایا ہے۔
Hazrat Umm Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne qabar par pakka imarat banane ya us par chuna lagane (ya us par baithne) se mana farmaya hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever assumes Ihram from Bait-ul-Maqdis, all his previous sins will be forgiven."

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ جو شخص بیت المقدس سے احرام باندھ کر آئے اس کے گزشتہ سارے گناہ معاف ہوجائیں گے۔
Hazrat Umm Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya keh jo shakhs Baitul Muqaddas se ehraam bandh kar aaye uske guzishta saare gunah maaf hojayenge.
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said that whoever assumes Ihram for Hajj or Umrah from Jerusalem, all his previous sins will be forgiven. On the basis of this Hadith, Umm Hakim went to Jerusalem and assumed Ihram for Umrah.

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ جو شخص بیت المقدس سے حج یا عمرے کا احرام باندھ کر آئے اس کے گزشتہ سارے گناہ معاف ہوجائیں گے، اسی حدیث کی بناء پر ام حکیم نے بیت المقدس جا کر عمرے کا احرام باندھا تھا۔
Hazrat Umm Salma RA se marvi hai ki Nabi SAW ne farmaya ki jo shakhs Baitul Muqaddas se Hajj ya Umrah ka ehram bandh kar aaye uske guzishta sare gunah maaf ho jayenge, isi hadees ki bina par Umm Hakeem ne Baitul Muqaddas ja kar Umrah ka ehram bandha tha.
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying to his pure wives, "Whoever among you shows kindness to my Ummah after me, will surely be a truthful and righteous person. O Allah, grant Abdur Rahman bin Auf to drink from the water of Salsabeel in Paradise."

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو اپنی ازواج مطہرات سے یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ میرے بعد تم پر جو شخص مہربانی کرے گا وہ یقینا سچا اور نیک آدمی ہوگا، اے اللہ عبدا لرحمن بن عوف کو جنت کی سلسبیل کے پانی سے سیراب فرما۔
Hazrat Umm e Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ke maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko apni azwaj e mutahirat se ye farmate huye suna hai ke mere baad tum par jo shakhs meharbani karega wo yaqeenan sacha aur nek aadmi hoga, aye Allah Abdur Rahman bin Auf ko jannat ki salsabeel ke pani se seeraab farma.
Abu Bakr ibn Abdur Rahman says that my father intended to perform Umrah. When the time for departure approached, he said to me, "Son, come, let's go to the Amir and bid him farewell." I said, "As you wish." So we went to Marwan, and there were some other people with him, including Abdullah ibn Zubair. They were discussing the two rak'ahs that Abdullah ibn Zubair used to pray after the afternoon prayer (Asr). Marwan asked him, "O Ibn Zubair, from whom did you learn these two rak'ahs?" He replied, "Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) told me about them, on the authority of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her)."
Marwan sent a messenger to Aisha, asking, "Ibn Zubair narrates from Abu Hurairah on your authority that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to pray two rak'ahs after Asr. What are these two rak'ahs?" She sent back the reply, "Umm Salama told me about it."
Marwan then sent the messenger to Umm Salama, saying, "Aisha says that you told her that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to pray two rak'ahs after the Asr prayer. What are these rak'ahs?"
Umm Salama replied, "May Allah forgive Aisha. She did not understand the context of my statement. The fact is that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayed the Zuhr prayer. That day, some wealth had come. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sat down to distribute it, until the Mu'adh-dhin came to announce the Asr prayer. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayed Asr and came to my house, because it was my turn that day. And he prayed two short rak'ahs in my house. I asked, 'O Messenger of Allah, what are these two rak'ahs that you have been commanded to pray?' The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, 'No, rather these are the rak'ahs that I used to pray after Zuhr, but I was so busy distributing the wealth that the Mu'adh-dhin came to me with the announcement of the Asr prayer. I did not consider it appropriate to leave them (so I prayed them now).'"
Upon hearing this, Ibn Zubair said, "Allahu Akbar! Doesn't this prove that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayed them at least once?" By Allah, I will never leave them."
And Umm Salama said, "Before this incident, I had never seen the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) praying this prayer, nor after it."

ابوبکربن عبدالرحمن کہتے ہیں کہ میرے والد نے عمرے کا ارادہ کیا جب روانگی کا وقت قریب آیا تو انہوں نے مجھ سے فرمایا بیٹا آؤ امیر کے پاس چل کر ان سے رخصت لیتے ہیں، میں نے کہا جیسے آپ کی مرضی چنانچہ ہم مروان کے پاس پہنچے اس کے پاس کچھ اور لوگ بھی تھے جن میں حضرت عبداللہ بن زیر بھی موجود تھے اور ان دو رکعتوں کا تذکرہ ہو رہا تھا جو حضرت عبداللہ بن زیبر نماز عصر کے بعد پڑھا کرتے تھے مروان نے ان سے پوچھا کہ اے ابن زبیر آپ نے یہ دو رکعتیں کس سے اخذ کی ہیں؟ انہوں نے فرمایا کہ ان کے متعلق مجھے حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے حضرت عائشہ کے حوالے سے بتایا ہے۔ مروان نے حضرت عائشہ کے پاس ایک قاصد بھیج کر پوچھا کہ ابن زیبر حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ آپ کے حوالے سے نقل کرتے ہیں کہ نبی ﷺ عصر کے بعد دو رکعتیں پڑھتے تھے یہ کیسی دو رکعتیں ہیں؟ انہوں نے جواب میں کہلا بھیجا کہ اس کے متعلق مجھے حضرت ام سلمہ نے بتایا تھا مروان نے حضرت ام سلمہ کے پاس قاصد کو بھیج دیا کہ حضرت عائشہ کے مطابق آپ نے انہیں بتایا ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نماز عصر کے بعد دو رکعتیں پڑھتے تھے، یہ کیسی رکعتیں ہیں؟ حضرت ام سلمہ نے فرمایا اللہ تعالیٰ عائشہ کی مغفرت فرمائے، انہوں نے میری بات کو اس کے صحیح محمل پر محمول نہیں کیا، بات دراصل یہ ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے ظہر کی نماز پڑھائی اس دن کہیں سے مال آیا ہوا تھا، نبی ﷺ اسے تقسیم کرنے کے لئے بیٹھ گئے حتی کہ مؤذن عصر کی اذان دینے لگا نبی ﷺ نے عصر کی نماز پڑھی اور میرے ہاں تشریف لے آئے کیونکہ اس دن میری باری تھی اور میرے یہاں دو مختصر رکعتیں پڑھیں اس پر میں نے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ یہ دو رکعتیں کیسی ہیں جن کا آپ کو حکم دیا گیا ہے؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا نہیں بلکہ یہ وہ رکعتیں ہیں جو میں ظہر کے بعد پڑھا کرتا تھا لیکن مال کی تقسم میں ایسا مشغول ہوا کہ مؤذن میرے پاس عصر کی نماز کی اطلاع لے کر آگیا، میں نے انہیں چھوڑنا مناسب نہ سمجھا (اس لئے اب پڑھ لیا) یہ سن کر حضرت ابن زبیر نے اللہ اکبر کہہ کر فرمایا کیا اس سے یہ ثابت نہیں ہوتا کہ نبی ﷺ نے انہیں ایک مرتبہ تو پڑھا ہے؟ واللہ میں نہیں کبھی نہیں چھوڑوں گا اور حضرت ام سلمہ نے فرمایا کہ اس واقعے سے پہلے میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ نماز پڑھتے ہوئے دیکھا ہے اور نہ اس کے بعد۔
Abubakr bin Abdur Rahman kahte hain ke mere walid ne Umrah ka irada kiya jab rawangi ka waqt qareeb aaya to unhon ne mujh se farmaya beta aao Ameer ke pass chal kar un se rukhsat lete hain, maine kaha jaise aap ki marzi chunancha hum Marwan ke pass pahunche uske pass kuchh aur log bhi the jin mein Hazrat Abdullah bin Zubair bhi maujood the aur un do rakaaton ka tazkirah ho raha tha jo Hazrat Abdullah bin Zubair Namaz Asr ke baad parha karte the Marwan ne un se puchha ke aye Ibn Zubair aap ne ye do rakaten kis se akhaz ki hain? Unhon ne farmaya ke un ke mutalliq mujhe Hazrat Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne Hazrat Ayesha ke hawale se bataya hai. Marwan ne Hazrat Ayesha ke pass ek qasid bhej kar puchha ke Ibn Zubair Hazrat Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) aap ke hawale se naql karte hain ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Asr ke baad do rakaten parhte the ye kaisi do rakaten hain? Unhon ne jawab mein kahla bheja ke uske mutalliq mujhe Hazrat Umme Salma ne bataya tha Marwan ne Hazrat Umme Salma ke pass qasid ko bhej diya ke Hazrat Ayesha ke mutabiq aap ne unhen bataya hai ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Namaz Asr ke baad do rakaten parhte the, ye kaisi rakaten hain? Hazrat Umme Salma ne farmaya Allah Ta'ala Ayesha ki magfirat farmaye, unhon ne meri baat ko uske sahih mahmal par mahmul nahin kiya, baat darasal ye hai ke ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Zuhr ki namaz parhai us din kahin se maal aaya hua tha, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) use taqsim karne ke liye baith gaye hatta ke muazzin Asr ki azan dene laga Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Asr ki namaz parhi aur mere yahan tashreef le aaye kyunki us din meri baari thi aur mere yahan do mukhtasar rakaten parhin is par maine arz kiya Ya Rasul Allah ye do rakaten kaisi hain jin ka aap ko hukm diya gaya hai? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya nahin balki ye wo rakaten hain jo main Zuhr ke baad parha karta tha lekin maal ki taqseem mein aisa mashgool hua ke muazzin mere pass Asr ki namaz ki ittila le kar aagaya, maine unhen chhorna munasib na samjha (is liye ab parh liya) ye sun kar Hazrat Ibn Zubair ne Allah Akbar kah kar farmaya kya is se ye sabit nahin hota ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unhen ek martaba to parha hai? Wallah main nahin kabhi nahin chhorun ga aur Hazrat Umme Salma ne farmaya ke is waqeye se pehle maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye namaz parhte huye dekha hai aur na uske baad.
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that during the blessed era of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), women used to observe a period of forty days after childbirth as postpartum bleeding. And we used to apply turmeric to our faces due to the paleness caused by blood loss.

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کے دور باسعادت میں عورتیں بچوں کی پیدائش کے بعد چالیس دن تک نفاس شمار کر کے بیٹھتی تھیں اور ہم لوگ چہروں پر چھائیاں پڑجانے کی وجہ سے اپنے چہروں پر ورس ملا کرتی تھیں۔
Hazrat Umm Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke dor e basaudat mein auratain bachchon ki paidaish ke baad chalis din tak nifaas shumaar kar ke bethti thin aur hum log chehron per chhaiyan par jane ki wajah se apne chehron per wars mila karti thin.
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that I never saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) fasting for two consecutive months except that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to join Sha'ban with the fasts of Ramadan.

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو دو ماہ کے مسلسل روزے رکھتے ہوئے کبھی نہیں دیکھا، البتہ نبی ﷺ شعبان کو رمضان کے روزے سے ملا دیتے تھے۔
Hazrat Umm Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko do mah ke musalsal roze rakhte huye kabhi nahi dekha, albatta Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Shaban ko Ramzan ke roze se mila dete the.
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salma (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw Ammar and said, "O son of Sumayyah! Alas, a rebellious group will kill you."

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے حضرت عمار کو دیکھا تو فرمایا ابن سمیہ افسوس تمہیں ایک باغی گروہ قتل کردے گا۔
Hazrat Umm Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Hazrat Ammar ko dekha to farmaya ibn e Sameeah afsos tumhein ek baghi giroh qatal kar de ga.
Ya'la bin Mamlak said that I asked Umm Salama, may Allah be pleased with her, about the night prayer and recitation of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. She said: Where are you and where is the prayer and recitation of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him? As long as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, would sleep, he would pray for the same duration, and as long as he would pray, he would sleep for the same duration. Then, she described the recitation of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saying that it was with the clarity of each and every letter.

یعلی بن مملک کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کی رات کی نماز اور قرأت کے متعلق حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے پوچھا تو انہوں نے فرمایا تم کہاں اور نبی ﷺ کی نماز اور قرأت کہاں؟ نبی ﷺ جتنی دیرسوتے تھے اتنی دیر نماز پڑھتے تھے اور جتنی دیر نماز پڑھتے تھے اتنی دیرسوتے تھے پھر نبی ﷺ کی قرأت کی جو کیفیت انہوں نے بیان فرمائی وہ ایک ایک حرف کی وضاحت کے ساتھ تھی۔
Yaali bin Mamlik kahte hain ke maine Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ki raat ki namaz aur qirat ke mutalliq Hazrat Umm Salma (Razi Allah Tala Anha) se pucha to unhon ne farmaya tum kahan aur Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ki namaz aur qirat kahan? Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) jitni dair sote the utni dair namaz parhte the aur jitni dair namaz parhte the utni dair sote the phir Nabi ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)) ki qirat ki jo kefiyat unhon ne bayan farmai wo aik aik harf ki wazahat ke sath thi.
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that I swear by the Being besides Whom there is no one worthy of worship, that Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) was closest to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in his last moments than anyone else. We used to visit the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) every day, and he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would often ask, "Has Ali arrived?" Most likely, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had sent him on some errand. After a while, Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) would arrive. I understood that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) wanted to talk to him in private. So, we would leave the house and sit by the door, and I would be the closest to the door. Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) leaned towards the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) made him sit on his left side and began to speak to him in whispers. That very day, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed away. Therefore, Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) was closest to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in his last moments.

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ جس ذات کی قسم کھائی جاسکتی ہے میں اس کی قسم کھا کر کہتی ہوں کہ دوسرے لوگوں کی نسبت حضرت علی کا نبی ﷺ کے آخری وقت میں زیادہ قرب رہا ہے، ہم لوگ روزانہ نبی ﷺ کی عیادت کے لئے حاضر ہوتے تو نبی ﷺ بارباریہی پوچھتے کہ علی آگئے؟ غالبا نبی ﷺ نے انہیں کسی کام سے بھیج دیا تھا تھوڑی دیر بعد حضرت علی آگئے، میں سمجھ گئی کہ نبی ﷺ ان سے خلوت میں کچھ بات کرنا چاہتے ہیں چنانچہ ہم لوگ گھر سے باہر آکر دروازے میں بیٹھ گئے اور ان میں سے دروازے کے سب سے زیادہ قریب میں ہی تھی، حضرت علی نبی ﷺ کی طرف جھک گئے نبی ﷺ نے انہیں اپنی بائیں جانب بٹھالیا اور ان سے سرگوشی میں باتیں کرنے لگے اور اسی دن نبی ﷺ کا وصال ہوگیا، اس اعتبار سے آخری لمحات میں حضرت علی کو نبی ﷺ کا سب سے زیادہ قرب حاصل رہا۔
Hazrat Umm Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki jis zaat ki qasam khai ja sakti hai mein uski qasam kha kar kehti hun ki dusre logon ki nisbat Hazrat Ali ka Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke aakhri waqt mein zyada qurb raha hai, hum log rozana Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki ayadat ke liye hazir hote to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) baar baar yahi puchte ki Ali agaye? ghaliban Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unhein kisi kaam se bhej diya tha thori der baad Hazrat Ali agaye, mein samajh gayi ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) unse khalwat mein kuch baat karna chahte hain chunancha hum log ghar se bahar aakar darwaze mein baith gaye aur un mein se darwaze ke sabse zyada qareeb mein hi thi, Hazrat Ali Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki taraf jhuk gaye Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unhein apni baayein jaanib bitha liya aur unse sargoshi mein baaten karne lage aur isi din Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ka wisal hogaya, is aitbaar se aakhri lamhaat mein Hazrat Ali ko Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ka sabse zyada qurb hasil raha.
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that once she was in the same sheet with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) when she started menstruating. She started to move away, so the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked, "Have you started menstruating?" She replied, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah." Then she went away, purified herself, put on a cloth, and came back and lay down in the sheet of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). And she used to take a bath with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) from the same vessel, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to kiss while fasting.

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ ایک لحاف میں تھی کہ مجھے ایام شروع ہوگئے میں کھسکنے لگی تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کیا تمہیں ایام آنے لگے میں نے کہا جی یا رسول اللہ پھر میں وہاں سے چلی گئی اپنی حالت درست کی اور کپڑا باندھا پھر آکر نبی ﷺ کے لحاف میں گھس گئی اور میں نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ ایک ہی برتن میں غسل کرلیا کرتی تھی اور نبی ﷺ روزے کی حالت میں بوسہ بھی دیدیتے تھے۔
Hazrat Umm e Salma RA se marvi hai ke ek martaba Nabi SAW ke sath ek lihaf mein thi ke mujhe ayam shuru hogaye mein khiskne lagi to Nabi SAW ne farmaya kya tumhein ayam aane lage mein ne kaha ji ya Rasulullah phir mein wahan se chali gayi apni halat durust ki aur kapda bandha phir aakar Nabi SAW ke lihaf mein ghus gayi aur mein Nabi SAW ke sath ek hi bartan mein ghusal kar liya karti thi aur Nabi SAW rozey ki halat mein bosa bhi dete thay.
It is narrated by Umme Salma (May Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “The one who drinks water in a silver vessel fills his stomach with the fire of Hell.”

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا جو شخص چاندی کے برتن میں پانی پیتا ہے وہ اپنے پیٹ میں جہنم کی آگ بھرتا ہے۔
Hazrat Umm Salma ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya jo shakhs chandi ke bartan mein pani pita hai wo apne pet mein jahannam ki aag bharta hai.
Saib narrates that once a few women from Homs came to visit Umme Salma. She asked them, "Where are you all coming from?" They replied, "From the city of Homs." Umme Salma said, "I have heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) saying that Allah tears down His veil of modesty from a woman who takes off her clothes anywhere other than her house."

سائب کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ حمص کی کچھ عورتیں حضرت ام سلمہ کے پاس آئیں انہوں نے پوچھا کہ تم لوگ کہاں سے آئی ہو انہوں نے بتایا کہ شہرحمص سے حضرت ام سلمہ نے فرمایا میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ جو عورت اپنے گھرکے علاوہ کسی اور جگہ اپنے کپڑے اتارتی ہے اللہ اس کا پردہ چاک کردیتا ہے۔
Saib kehte hain ke ek martaba Hums ki kuch aurten Hazrat Umm Salma ke pass aayin unhon ne poocha ke tum log kahan se aayi ho unhon ne bataya ke shehar Hums se Hazrat Umm Salma ne farmaya maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate hue suna hai ke jo aurat apne ghar ke ilawa kisi aur jagah apne kapde utarti hai Allah us ka parda chak karta hai
It is narrated on the authority of Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "The best prayer for women is in the furthest room of their houses."

حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا عورتوں کی سب سے بہترین نماز ان کے گھرکے آخری کمرے میں ہوتی ہے۔
