`Abdullah bin Badr narrated from `Abdur-Rahman bin `Ali bin Shaiban from his father, who was one of the members of a delegation: We went to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and prayed behind him. When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) finished his prayer, there was a man praying alone. The Prophet of Allah (ﷺ) stood until the man finished his prayer, then he said to him: "Repeat your prayer, for there is no prayer for one who prays alone behind the row."
عبداللہ بن بدر نے عبدالرحمٰن بن علی بن شيبان سے روایت کی، انہوں نے اپنے والد سے جنہوں نے ایک وفد میں شمولیت اختیار کی تھی، کہا: ہم رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے اور آپ کے پیچھے نماز پڑھی۔ جب رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) نے اپنی نماز پوری کرلی تو ایک شخص اکیلا نماز پڑھ رہا تھا۔ نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) اس وقت تک کھڑے رہے جب تک اس شخص نے اپنی نماز پوری نہیں کرلی، پھر آپ نے اس سے فرمایا: "اپنی نماز دہراؤ، کیونکہ اس شخص کی نماز نہیں ہوتی جو صف کے پیچھے اکیلا نماز پڑھتا ہے۔"
Abdullah bin Badr ne Abdulrahman bin Ali bin Shaiban se riwayat ki, unhon ne apne walid se jinhon ne aik wafd mein shamooliyat ikhtiyar ki thi, kaha: Hum Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ki khidmat mein hazir hue aur aap ke peeche namaz parha. Jab Rasool Allah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne apni namaz poori karli to aik shakhs akela namaz parh raha tha. Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) us waqt tak kharay rahay jab tak us shakhs ne apni namaz poori nahin karli, phir aap ne us se farmaya: "Apni namaz dohrau, kyunki us shakhs ki namaz nahin hoti jo saf ke peeche akela namaz parhta hai."
Abu 'Ali Ash-Shaybani, who was one of the delegation of Bani Hanifa who came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), said:
I prayed behind the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and when the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) finished his prayer, he looked at a man behind the row, alone. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Did you pray like this?" He said, "Yes." He said, "Repeat your prayer, for there is no prayer for one who prays alone behind the row."
ابو علی شیبانی، جو بنو حنیفہ کے وفد میں سے تھے جو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے تھے، کہتے ہیں:
میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پیچھے نماز پڑھی، اور جب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنی نماز ختم کی تو آپ نے صف کے پیچھے ایک شخص کو اکیلا دیکھا۔ نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "کیا تم نے یوں ہی نماز پڑھی؟" اس نے کہا: "جی ہاں۔" آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "اپنی نماز دہراؤ، کیونکہ اس شخص کی نماز نہیں ہوتی جو صف کے پیچھے اکیلا نماز پڑھے۔"
Abu Ali Shaibani, jo Banu Hanifa ke wafd mein se thay jo Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ki khidmat mein hazir huye thay, kehte hain:
Main ne Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ke peechhe namaz parhi, aur jab Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne apni namaz khatam ki to aap ne saf ke peechhe ek shakhs ko akela dekha. Nabi sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "Kya tum ne yun hi namaz parhi?" Us ne kaha: "Ji haan." Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "Apni namaz dohrao, kyunki us shakhs ki namaz nahin hoti jo saf ke peechhe akela namaz parhe."
Ibn Juraij reported: Ziyad ibn Sa'd informed me that Qa'qah, the freed slave of 'Abd al-Qais, informed him that he heard 'Ikrimah saying that Ibn 'Abbas said, "I prayed beside the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and 'Aisha was behind us praying with us, and I was beside the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) praying with him."
ابن جریج نے بیان کیا: زیاد بن سعد نے مجھے بتایا کہ قعقاع، عبد القیس کے آزاد کردہ غلام نے مجھے بتایا کہ انہوں نے عکرمہ سے سنا، انہوں نے کہا کہ ابن عباس نے کہا، "میں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پہلو میں نماز پڑھی اور عائشہ ہمارے پیچھے ہمارے ساتھ نماز پڑھ رہی تھیں، اور میں نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پہلو میں آپ کے ساتھ نماز پڑھ رہا تھا۔"
Ibn Juraij ne bayan kya: Ziyad bin Saad ne mujhe bataya ki Qaqa, Abd al-Qais ke azad kardah gulam ne mujhe bataya ki unhon ne Akrama se suna, unhon ne kaha ki Ibn Abbas ne kaha, "Main ne Nabi Karim Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke pahlu mein namaz parhi aur Aisha humare peechhe humare sath namaz parh rahi thin, aur main Nabi Karim Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke pahlu mein aap ke sath namaz parh raha tha."
Anas bin Malik narrated that his grandmother, Mulaika, invited the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) to a meal that she had prepared. He ate from it, and then said, "Stand up, so I may pray for you." Anas said, "So I got up and went to a mat of mine that had become black from how long it had been since it was last used, and I sprinkled it with water. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) stood on it, and I and the orphan stood behind him, and the old woman behind us." He said, "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) then prayed two rak'ahs for us, then he left."
Anas Bin Malik Radi Allahu Anhu Se Yaqoolo: Inna Mulaika Da'at Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam Ila Ta'am Sana'at-hu, Fa Akala Minhu, Summa Qala: Qoomee Fa Asalli Laki, Qala: Fa Qumt Ila Hasir Lee Qad Iswadda Min Tool Ma Lubisa, Fa Nadah-tuhu Bi Ma'in, Fa Qama Alaihi Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam, Wa Qumt Ana Wal Yateem Khalfahu, Wal Ajuzu Min Waraina, Qala: Fa Salla Lana Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam Rak'taini, Summa Insarafa
Anas reported: The Prophet ﷺ led me in prayer, along with my mother and my aunt. He placed me on his right, and my mother and my aunt behind us.
حضرت انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے میری، میری والدہ اور میری پھوپھی کی امامت فرمائی۔ آپ ﷺ نے مجھے اپنے داہنے جانب کھڑا کیا اور میری والدہ اور پھوپھی کو ہمارے پیچھے۔
Hazrat Anas Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai keh Nabi SAW ne meri, meri walida aur meri phoophi ki imamat farmaai. Aap SAW ne mujhe apne dahine jaanib khara kiya aur meri walida aur phoophi ko hamare peeche.
Anas reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, led us in prayer upon a mat, and he placed me on his right side, and the mother of Sulaym and the mother of Haram stood behind us.
انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہمیں ایک چٹائی پر نماز پڑھائی، اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھے اپنے داہنے جانب کھڑا کیا، اور سلیم کی والدہ اور حرام کی والدہ ہمارے پیچھے کھڑی تھیں۔
Anas razaiy ALLAHU anhu se riwayat hai keh Rasool ALLAH sallALLAHu alaihi wasallam ne humein aik chatai par namaz parhaai, aur Aap sallALLAHu alaihi wasallam ne mujhe apne dahne janib khara kiya, aur Saleem ki walida aur Haram ki walida humare peeche khari thin.
Narrated Ibn 'Umar: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "When women ask your permission to go to the mosque, permit them."
حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”جب عورتیں تم سے مسجد جانے کی اجازت مانگیں تو انہیں اجازت دے دیا کرو۔“
Hazrat Ibn Umar Radi Allahu Anhuma se riwayat hai ki Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Jab auratain tum se masjid jane ki ijazat mangain to unhain ijazat de diya karo."
Ibn Umar said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Permit women to go to the mosques at night." Some of his family said: "Do not permit them for they will take it as a secret rendezvous point." He said: "May Allah do to you and do... I am saying that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said ... and you say do not permit."
حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "تم عورتوں کو راتوں میں مسجدوں میں آنے کی اجازت دیا کرو"۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے گھر والوں میں سے بعض نے کہا "انہیں اجازت نہ دیجیے کیونکہ یہ ان کے لیے چوری چھپے ملنے کا ذریعہ بن جائے گا"۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "اللہ تمہارا۔۔۔ میں کہہ رہا ہوں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا۔۔۔ اور تم کہتے ہو اجازت نہ دو"۔
Hazrat Ibn Umar Radi Allahu Anhuma se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Tum auraton ko raaton mein masjidon mein aane ki ijazat diya karo". Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke ghar walon mein se baaz ne kaha "Inhen ijazat na deejiye kyunki ye in ke liye chori chhupe milne ka zariya ban jaye ga". Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Allah tumhara... mein keh raha hun ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya... aur tum kehte ho ijazat na do".
Zayd ibn Khalid reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Do not prevent the women of Allah from [attending] the mosques of Allah, but let them go out disheveled."
حضرت زید بن خالد رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”تم اللہ کی عورتوں کو اللہ کی مسجدوں سے مت روکو البتہ وہ بن سنور کر نکلیں۔“
Hazrat Zaid bin Khalid Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Tum Allah ki auraton ko Allah ki masjidon se mat roko albatta woh ban sanwar kar niklein."
Zainab, the wife of Ibn Mas'ud, reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said to her: "When you go out to the `Isha' prayer, do not touch perfume."
حضرت زینب رضی اللہ عنہا بیوی حضرت عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان سے فرمایا: "جب تم عشاء کی نماز کے لیے نکلو تو خوشبو نہ لگاؤ"۔
Hazrat Zainab Raziallahu Anha biwi Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood Raziallahu Anhu bayan karti hain keh Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne un se farmaya: "Jab tum Isha ki namaz ke liye niklo to khushbu na lagao"
Ibn Numayr reported: I heard Az Zuhri say that Humayd ibn `Abd ar Rahman informed him that `Ubaydullah ibn `Abdullah ibn `Umar informed him that he heard his father saying that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "When your women ask permission to go to the mosque, do not prevent them." Bilal ibn Abdullah ibn Umar said, "By Allah, we will prevent them." So Abdullah ibn Umar rebuked him with the worst rebuke I have ever heard. He said, "Did I not tell you that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: 'When your women ask permission to go to the mosque, do not prevent them'? You say, 'By Allah, we will prevent them'?"
ابن نمیر نے بیان کیا کہ میں نے زہری سے سنا، انہوں نے کہا کہ مجھے حمید بن عبدالرحمٰن نے خبر دی، انہیں عبیداللہ بن عبداللہ بن عمر نے خبر دی کہ انہوں نے اپنے والد سے سنا، وہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "جب تمہاری عورتیں تم سے مسجد جانے کی اجازت مانگیں تو انہیں روکنے نہ دینا"۔ بلال بن عبداللہ بن عمر نے کہا: "اللہ کی قسم! ہم انہیں ضرور روکیں گے"۔ تو عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے انہیں ایسی سخت سرزنش کی جیسی میں نے کبھی نہیں سنی تھی۔ آپ نے فرمایا: "کیا میں نے تمہیں یہ نہیں بتایا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ہے کہ ’جب تمہاری عورتیں تم سے مسجد جانے کی اجازت مانگیں تو انہیں روکنے نہ دینا‘ اور تم کہتے ہو کہ اللہ کی قسم! ہم انہیں ضرور روکیں گے؟"
Ibn Numair ne bayan kya keh main ne Zuhri se suna, unhon ne kaha keh mujhe Hamid bin Abdur Rahman ne khabar di, unhen Ubaidullah bin Abdullah bin Umar ne khabar di keh unhon ne apne walid se suna, woh bayan karte hain keh Rasool Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم ne farmaya: "Jab tumhari aurten tumse masjid jaane ki ijazat mangain to unhen rokne na dena". Bilal bin Abdullah bin Umar ne kaha: "Allah ki qasam! Hum unhen zaroor rokenge". To Abdullah bin Umar Radi Allahu Anhu ne unhen aisi sakht sarzanish ki jaisi main ne kabhi nahin suni thi. Aap ne farmaya: "Kya main ne tumhen yeh nahin bataya keh Rasool Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم ne farmaya hai keh 'Jab tumhari aurten tumse masjid jaane ki ijazat mangain to unhen rokne na dena' aur tum kehte ho keh Allah ki qasam! Hum unhen zaroor rokenge?"
Abu Huraira reported that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Do not prevent the female slaves of Allah from [attending] the mosques of Allah, and let them go out having made themselves indistinctive."
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: "اللہ کی بندیوں کو اللہ کی مسجدوں سے نہ روکو اور انہیں (اپنے آپ کو) غیر نمایاں بنا کر نکلنے دو۔"
Hazrat Abu Hurairah razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai keh Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Allah ki bandiyon ko Allah ki masjidon se na roko aur unhen (apne aap ko) ghair numaya bana kar nikalne do."
Bukayr narrated to us, Zainab, the wife of Abdullah bin Mas'ud, said that she heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying: "When one of you attends the Isha' prayer, she should not apply perfume."
بشیر نے ہمیں بیان کیا، زینب بیوی عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہا کہ میں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا: "جب تم میں سے کوئی عورت عشاء کی نماز پڑھنے جائے تو وہ خوشبو نہ لگائے۔"
Bashir ne humain bayan kya, Zainab biwi Abdullah bin Masood raziallahu anhuma ne kaha ke maine Nabi Kareem sallallahu alaihi wasallam ko ye farmate huey suna: "Jab tum mein se koi aurat isha ki namaz parhne jaye to woh khushboo na lagaye."
Sahl bin Sa`d said: "The women were commanded, at the time of Allah's Messenger, ﷺ, in prayer, not to raise their heads until the men had sat down after the prostrations because of their tight clothes."
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے زمانے میں عورتوں کو نماز میں یہ حکم دیا گیا تھا کہ وہ اپنا سر اس وقت تک نہ اٹھائیں جب تک کہ مرد سجدوں سے فارغ ہو کر نہ بیٹھ جائیں کیونکہ ان کے کپڑے تنگ ہوتے تھے۔
Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ke zamanay mein auraton ko namaz mein yeh hukum diya gaya tha ke woh apna sar us waqt tak na uthayen jab tak ke mard sajdon se farigh ho kar na baith jayen kyunki un ke kapray tang hotay thay.
Narrated Abdullah bin Sa'id al-Ansari:
from his paternal aunt Umm Humaid, the wife of Abu Humaid as-Sa'idi that she came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: "O Messenger of Allah, I love to pray with you." He said: "I know that you love to pray with me, but your prayer in your house is better than your prayer in your room, and your prayer in your room is better than your prayer in your courtyard, and your prayer in your courtyard is better than your prayer in the mosque of your people, and your prayer in the mosque of your people is better than your prayer in my mosque." He said: So she ordered that a mosque be built for her in the furthest and darkest part of her house, and she would pray in it until she met Allah, the Exalted and Glorious.
امّ حمید ساعدیؓ، حضرت ابو حمید ساعدیؓ کی زوجہ، بیان کرتی ہیں کہ میں رسول اللہ ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئی اور عرض کیا : اللہ کے رسولﷺ! مجھے آپ کے ساتھ نماز پڑھنا بہت محبوب ہے۔ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: مجھے معلوم ہے کہ تمہیں میرے ساتھ نماز پڑھنا بہت محبوب ہے لیکن تمہاری نماز تمہارے گھر میں تمہارے کمرے (نماز) سے بہتر ہے اور تمہارے کمرے (نماز) میں تمہارے صحن (نماز) سے بہتر ہے اور تمہارے صحن (نماز) میں تمہاری قوم کی مسجد (نماز) سے بہتر ہے اور تمہاری قوم کی مسجد (نماز) میں میری مسجد (نماز) سے بہتر ہے۔ چنانچہ انہوں نے اپنے گھر کے اندرونی ترین اور تاریک ترین حصے میں ایک مسجد بنوائی اور اس میں نماز پڑھتی رہیں یہاں تک کہ اللہ عزوجل سے ملاقات کی۔
Umm Humaid Saidi RA Hazrat Abu Humaid Saidi RA ki zojah bayan karti hain keh mein Rasool Allah SAW ki khidmat mein hazir hui aur arz kiya: Allah ke Rasool SAW! Mujhe aap ke sath namaz parhna bohat mahboob hai. Aap SAW ne farmaya: Mujhe malum hai keh tumhen mere sath namaz parhna bohat mahboob hai lekin tumhari namaz tumhare ghar mein tumhare kamre (namaz) se behtar hai aur tumhare kamre (namaz) mein tumhare sahan (namaz) se behtar hai aur tumhare sahan (namaz) mein tumhari qaum ki masjid (namaz) se behtar hai aur tumhari qaum ki masjid (namaz) mein meri masjid (namaz) se behtar hai. Chunanche unhon ne apne ghar ke andarni tareen aur tareek tareen hisse mein ek masjid banwai aur us mein namaz parhti rahin yahan tak keh Allah Azzawajal se mulaqat ki.
'Abd al-Hamid b. Mahmud said: "I prayed beside Anas b. Malik between the rows," so he said: "We used to avoid this at the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."
عبد الحمید بن محمود نے کہا: "میں نے انس بن مالک کے ساتھ صفوں کے درمیان نماز پڑھی،" تو انہوں نے کہا: "ہم رسول اللہ ﷺ کے زمانے میں اس سے بچتے تھے۔"
Abdul Hameed bin Mahmood ne kaha: "Main ne Anas bin Malik ke sath saffon ke darmiyaan namaz parhi," to unhon ne kaha: "Hum Rasool Allah (ﷺ) ke zamaane mein is se bachtay thay."
Mu'awiya ibn Qurra reported from his father: "We were forbidden to pray between the rows of graves and were driven away from it with insistence."
معاویہ بن قُرّہ اپنے والد سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ : " ہمیں قبروں کی قطاروں کے درمیان نماز پڑھنے سے منع کیا گیا اور سختی سے اس سے روکا گیا "۔
Muawiya bin Qurra apne walid se riwayat karte hain ki: "Hamen qabron ki qataron ke darmiyaan namaz parhne se mana kiya gaya aur sakhti se is se roka gaya".
Narrated Ibn 'Umar: I asked Bilal, "Where did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pray when he entered the Ka'bah?" He said, "Between the two front pillars." And I forgot to ask him how many (rak'ahs) he prayed.
حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ میں نے حضرت بلال رضی اللہ عنہ سے پوچھا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے جب کعبہ میں داخل ہوئے تو کہاں نماز پڑھی؟ انہوں نے کہا کہ دو اگلے ستونوں کے درمیان۔ اور میں یہ پوچھنا بھول گیا کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کتنی رکعتیں پڑھیں۔
Hazrat Ibn Umar Radi Allahu Anhuma se riwayat hai ki maine Hazrat Bilal Radi Allahu Anhu se poocha ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne jab Kaba mein dakhil hue to kahan namaz parhi? Unhon ne kaha ki do agle satoon ke darmiyan. Aur mein yeh poochna bhool gaya ki Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne kitni rakaten parhin.
Uqba ibn Amir narrated that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Whoever leads the people in prayer and catches the beginning of the prayer time and completes the prayer, then he will have a reward and they will have a reward. But whoever misses any part of that, then the sin will be upon him and not upon them."
حضرت عقبہ بن عامر رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا، "جو شخص لوگوں کو نماز پڑھائے اور نماز کے وقت کے آغاز کو پالے اور نماز مکمل کرے تو اس کے لیے اجر ہے اور ان کے لیے بھی اجر ہے۔ لیکن جو اس میں سے کچھ بھی چھوڑ دے گا تو گناہ اس پر ہوگا نہ کہ ان پر"۔
Hazrat Aqba bin Aamir Raziallahu Anhu bayan karte hain ki Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya, "Jo shakhs logon ko namaz padhaye aur namaz ke waqt ke aaghaz ko pale aur namaz mukammal kare to uske liye ajr hai aur unke liye bhi ajr hai. Lekin jo is mein se kuchh bhi chhod dega to gunah us par hoga na ki un par".
Abdullah ibn Abi Qatadah, from his father, from the Prophet ﷺ who said: “When the prayer is established, then do not stand until you see me.”
حضرت عبداللہ بن ابی قتادہ اپنے والد سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: "جب نماز قائم ہو جائے تو اس وقت تک کھڑے نہ ہو جب تک تم مجھے نہ دیکھ لو"۔
Hazrat Abdullah bin Abi Qatadah apne walid se riwayat karte hain ke Nabi Kareem SAW ne farmaya: "Jab namaz qaim ho jaye to us waqt tak kharay na ho jab tak tum mujhe na dekh lo".
Narrated by Abu Qatadah: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "When the prayer is announced, then do not proceed to pray until you see me coming out to you."
حضرت ابوقتادہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "جب نماز کے لیے اقامت ہو جائے تو تم میں سے کوئی نماز کے لیے نہ نکلے یہاں تک کہ مجھے دیکھ لے کہ میں تمہارے پاس نکل آیا ہوں"۔
Hazrat Abu Qatada Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Jab namaz ke liye iqamat ho jaye to tum mein se koi namaz ke liye na nikle yahan tak ki mujhe dekh le ki main tumhare pass nikal aaya hun".
`Urwah ibn Al-Mughirah narrated that he heard his father saying: “Allah's Messenger ﷺ went out (for prayer) at the time of the battle of Tabuk before dawn. I went out with him and he dismounted. Then he came to me and I poured water from my water-skin over his hands and he washed them. Then he washed his face and wiped his arms. When the water got little in the palms of his hands, he dipped them in the water-skin and took them out and washed them up to the elbows and wiped his head. Then he performed ablution by wiping over his leather socks. Then he rode and we proceeded till we found the people had said their prayer. They made `Abdur-Rahman bin `Awf to lead the prayer and he had offered one rak'ah of the Fajr prayer with them by then. It was the time for the prayer. Allah's Messenger ﷺ stood up along with the Muslims behind `Abdur-Rahman bin `Awf and offered the second rak'ah of the Fajr prayer. Then `Abdur-Rahman finished his prayer (with Taslim). Allah's Messenger ﷺ completed his prayer. The Muslims were terrified and glorified Allah as they had prayed before Allah's Messenger ﷺ. When Allah's Messenger ﷺ finished the prayer (with Taslim), he said to them: 'You have done well' or 'You have hit the right thing.”
عروہ بن مغیرہؓ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ میں نے اپنے باپ سے سنا، وہ کہتے تھے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ تبوک کے غزوہ کے موقع پر صبح صادق سے پہلے (نماز کے لیے) نکلے تو میں بھی آپ کے ساتھ نکل گیا، پھر آپ ﷺ سواری سے اترے، پھر آپ ﷺ میرے پاس آئے اور میں نے اپنی مشکی سے آپ ﷺ کے ہاتھوں پر پانی ڈالا تو آپ ﷺ نے اپنے ہاتھ دھوئے، پھر آپ ﷺ نے اپنا چہرہ مبارک دھویا اور اپنی بازوئیں مسح کیں، جب آپ ﷺ کی ہتھیلیوں میں پانی کم ہو گیا تو آپ ﷺ نے انہیں مشکی میں ڈبویا اور باہر نکال کر کہنیوں تک دھویا اور سر کا مسح کیا، پھر آپ ﷺ نے اپنے موزوں پر مسح کر کے وضو کیا۔ پھر آپ ﷺ سوار ہوئے اور ہم چل پڑے یہاں تک کہ ہم لوگوں کو نماز پڑھ چکے ہوئے پایا۔ انہوں نے عبدالرحمٰن بن عوفؓ کو نماز پڑھانے کے لیے آگے کیا اور انہوں نے ان کے ساتھ فجر کی ایک رکعت پڑھا دی تھی۔ اب نماز کا وقت ہو گیا تھا۔ رسول اللہ ﷺ عبدالرحمٰن بن عوفؓ کے پیچھے مسلمانوں کے ساتھ کھڑے ہو گئے اور فجر کی دوسری رکعت پڑھی۔ پھر عبدالرحمٰنؓ نے اپنی نماز سلام پھیر کر ختم کر لی۔ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے اپنی نماز مکمل کی۔ مسلمان خوفزدہ ہو گئے اور اللہ کی بڑائی بیان کرنے لگے کیونکہ انہوں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ سے پہلے نماز پڑھی تھی۔ جب رسول اللہ ﷺ نماز (سلام پھیر کر) سے فارغ ہوئے تو آپ ﷺ نے ان سے فرمایا: ”تم نے اچھا کیا“ یا ”تم نے ٹھیک کیا“۔
Urwa bin Mugheera bayan karte hain keh maine apne baap se suna, woh kehte thay keh Rasool Allah Tabook ke ghazwa ke mauqe par subah sadiq se pehle (namaz ke liye) nikle to main bhi aap ke sath nikal gaya, phir aap sawari se utre, phir aap mere pass aaye aur maine apni mashki se aap ke hathon par pani dala to aap ne apne hath dhoye, phir aap ne apna chehra mubarak dhoya aur apni bazuen masah kin, jab aap ki hatheliyon mein pani kam ho gaya to aap ne unhen mashki mein duboya aur bahar nikal kar kahniyon tak dhoya aur sar ka masah kia, phir aap ne apne mozon par masah kar ke wuzu kia. Phir aap sawar huye aur hum chal pade yahan tak keh hum logon ko namaz parh chuke huye paya. Unhon ne Abdul Rahman bin Auf ko namaz parhane ke liye aage kia aur unhon ne un ke sath fajar ki aik rakat parh di thi. Ab namaz ka waqt ho gaya tha. Rasool Allah Abdul Rahman bin Auf ke peeche musalmanon ke sath khare ho gaye aur fajar ki dusri rakat parhi. Phir Abdul Rahman ne apni namaz salam phir kar khatam kar li. Rasool Allah ne apni namaz mukammal ki. Musalman khaufezda ho gaye aur Allah ki barai bayan karne lage kyunki unhon ne Rasool Allah se pehle namaz parhi thi. Jab Rasool Allah namaz (salam phir kar) se farigh huye to aap ne un se farmaya: ”Tum ne achcha kia“ ya ”Tum ne theek kia“
Al-Mughirah said:
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out, so I poured water from the bucket for him, and he washed his face. Then, he wanted to roll up his sleeves but the sleeves of the Messenger of Allah's ﷺ garment, which was made of Roman wool, were tight. So, he put his hand into the opening of the garment and washed his arms up to the elbows. He wiped his head and wiped over his leather socks. Then, I went with him, and he found the people already praying, and `Abdur-Rahman bin `Awf was leading them in prayer. We joined him and prayed one rak'ah with him. When he finished the prayer with Taslim, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood up and completed his prayer. The people were startled by that. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ finished his prayer, he said: "You have done the right thing and done well. If your Imam starts the prayer and you are present, then bring forward a man to lead you."
المغيرة رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم باہر تشریف لائے تو میں نے ڈول سے آپ کے لیے پانی ڈالا، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنا چہرہ مبارک دھویا، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اپنی آستین چڑھانا چاہتے تھے لیکن رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی قمیص کی آستین جو رومی اونی تھی تنگ تھی، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنا ہاتھ مبارک قمیص کے دہانے میں ڈال کر کہنیوں تک اپنی دونوں بازوئیں دھو لیں، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنے سر کا مسح کیا اور اپنے موزوں پر مسح کیا، پھر میں آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ چلا، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے لوگوں کو نماز پڑھتے ہوئے پایا اور عبدالرحمٰن بن عوف رضی اللہ عنہ انہیں نماز پڑھا رہے تھے، ہم ان میں شامل ہو گئے اور ان کے ساتھ ایک رکعت پڑھی، جب انہوں نے سلام پھیر کر نماز ختم کی تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کھڑے ہو گئے اور اپنی نماز پوری کی، لوگ اس پر چونک گئے، جب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنی نماز پوری فرما لی تو فرمایا: تم نے ٹھیک کیا اور اچھا کیا، اگر تمہارا امام نماز شروع کر دے اور تم (مسجد میں) موجود ہو تو تمہیں اپنا ایک آدمی آگے کر کے (اس کی اقتدا میں) نماز پڑھنی چاہیے۔
Al Mughira RA kahte hain keh Rasul Allah SAW bahar tashreef laye to maine dol se aap ke liye pani dala, aap SAW ne apna chehra mubarak dhoya, phir aap SAW apni aasteen charhana chahte the lekin Rasul Allah SAW ki qameez ki aasteen jo romi ooni thi tang thi, to aap SAW ne apna hath mubarak qameez ke dehanay mein daal kar kahniyon tak apni donon bazuen dho lien, phir aap SAW ne apne sar ka masaj kiya aur apne mozon par masaj kiya, phir main aap SAW ke sath chala, to aap SAW ne logon ko namaz parhte huye paya aur Abdul Rahman bin Auf RA unhen namaz parha rahe the, hum un mein shamil ho gaye aur un ke sath ek rakat parhi, jab unhon ne salam pher kar namaz khatam ki to Rasul Allah SAW kharay ho gaye aur apni namaz poori ki, log is par chaunk gaye, jab Rasul Allah SAW ne apni namaz poori farma li to farmaya: tum ne theek kiya aur achha kiya, agar tumhara imam namaz shuru kar de aur tum (masjid mein) mojood ho to tumhen apna ek aadmi aage kar ke (is ki iqteda mein) namaz parhni chahiye.
Abu Ishaq narrated: I heard Abdullah bin Yazid saying that al-Bara’ (who was not a liar) narrated to them, “Whenever they prayed with the Prophet (ﷺ), they used to stand till they saw him prostrating and then they would prostrate.”
ابو اسحاق روایت کرتے ہیں کہ میں نے عبداللہ بن یزید کو کہتے سنا کہ البراء (جو جھوٹا نہیں تھا) نے انہیں روایت کی، "جب بھی وہ نبی کریم ﷺ کے ساتھ نماز پڑھتے تو وہ اس وقت تک کھڑے رہتے جب تک کہ وہ آپ کو سجدہ میں نہ دیکھ لیتے اور پھر وہ سجدہ کرتے۔"
Abu Ishaq riwayat karte hain keh maine Abdullah bin Yazid ko kehte suna keh Albara (jo jhoota nahi tha) ne unhen riwayat ki, "Jab bhi wo Nabi Kareem SAW ke sath namaz parhte to wo us waqt tak khare rehte jab tak keh wo aap ko sajdah mein na dekh lete aur phir wo sajdah karte."
Al-Bara', who was not a liar, said:
"When we prayed behind the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, we would not go down in prostration until we saw him prostrating, then we would prostrate."
حضرت البراء رضی اللہ عنہ جو جھوٹ نہیں بولتے تھے، کہتے ہیں: "جب ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پیچھے نماز پڑھتے تھے تو ہم آپ کو سجدہ کرتے ہوئے دیکھے بغیر سجدہ میں نہ جاتے تھے، پھر ہم سجدہ کرتے تھے۔"
Hazrat albara razi Allah anhu jo jhoot nahi bolte thay, kehte hain: "Jab hum Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ke peeche namaz parhte thay to hum aap ko sajda karte huye dekhe baghair sajda mein na jate thay, phir hum sajda karte thay."
Abu Huraira reported that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "There will come upon the people or there will be some people who pray, but if they perfect their prayers then it is for you and them, but if they fall short then it is against them and for you."
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم ﷺ نے فرمایا لوگوں پر ایک زمانہ ایسا آئے گا یا کچھ لوگ ایسے ہوں گے جو نماز تو پڑھیں گے لیکن اگر وہ اپنی نمازوں کو مکمل کریں گے تو وہ تمہارے اور ان کے لیے ہوگی اور اگر کمی کریں گے تو وہ ان کے خلاف اور تمہارے لیے ہوگی۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai keh Nabi Akram SAW ne farmaya logon per ek zamana aisa aaye ga ya kuch log aise honge jo namaz to parhenge lekin agar woh apni namaazon ko mukammal karenge to woh tumhare aur unke liye hogi aur agar kami karenge to woh unke khilaf aur tumhare liye hogi.
Mu'awiyah ibn Abi Sufyan said that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Do not anticipate me in bowing and prostrating. If I bow, then join me. If I prostrate, then join me. If I prostrate, then join me when I rise, for I have been given a perfect form."
معاویہ بن ابی سفیان رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا، "مجھ پر رکوع اور سجدے میں سبقت نہ کرو۔ جب میں رکوع کروں تو تم بھی کرو۔ اور جب میں سجدہ کروں تو تم بھی کرو۔ اور جب میں سجدہ سے سر اٹھاؤں تو تم بھی اٹھاؤ، کیونکہ مجھے کامل صورت میں نماز پڑھنے کا حکم دیا گیا ہے۔"
Muawiya bin Abi Sufyan RA kahte hain ke Rasul Allah SAW ne farmaya, "Mujh par ruku aur sajde mein sabaqat na karo. Jab main ruku karoon to tum bhi karo. Aur jab main sajdah karoon to tum bhi karo. Aur jab main sajdah se sar uthaoon to tum bhi uthao, kyonki mujhe kamil soorat mein namaz padhne ka hukum diya gaya hai."
Mu'awiyah said on the pulpit: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Do not precede me in bowing and prostrating yourselves. I have already done them (in the heavens) and whatever I precede you with in bowing, you follow me in it when I raise my head, and whatever I precede you with in prostrating yourselves, you follow me in it when I raise my head."
معاویہ نے منبر پر کہا کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: مجھ سے پہلے رکوع اور سجدہ میں جلدی نہ کرو۔ میں انہیں (آسمانوں میں) پہلے ہی کر چکا ہوں اور رکوع میں جو چیز میں تم سے پہلے کروں تو جب میں سر اٹھاؤں تو تم اس میں میری پیروی کرنا اور سجدہ میں جو چیز میں تم سے پہلے کروں تو جب میں سر اٹھاؤں تو تم اس میں میری پیروی کرنا۔
Muawiya ne mimbar par kaha keh Rasool Allah ne farmaya: mujh se pehle rukoo aur sijda mein jaldi na karo. Mein unhen (aasmanon mein) pehle hi kar chuka hun aur rukoo mein jo cheez mein tum se pehle karoon to jab mein sar uthaun to tum us mein meri pairvi karna aur sijda mein jo cheez mein tum se pehle karoon to jab mein sar uthaun to tum us mein meri pairvi karna.
Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "O people! I have made the call to prayer, or I have started the prayer, so do not precede me in bowing and prostrating, but rather I will precede you. Verily, you will catch up what you missed.”
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: لوگو! میں نے اذان دی ہے، یا میں نے نماز شروع کر دی ہے، تو مجھ سے پہلے رکوع اور سجدہ میں نہ جاؤ، بلکہ میں تم سے پہلے کروں گا۔ بے شک، تم وہ پا لو گے جو تم سے رہ گیا ہوگا۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: Logo! main ne azan di hai, ya main ne namaz shuru kar di hai, to mujh se pehle ruku aur sajdah mein na jao, balki main tum se pehle karoon ga. Be shak, tum wo pa lo ge jo tum se reh gaya hoga.
Abu Ma'bad reported that Ibn Abbas said: "I knew the completion of the prayer of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, by the takbir."
حضرت ابو معبد رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے فرمایا کہ ”میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی نماز کا اختتام تکبیر سے جانتا تھا“ ۔
Hazrat Abu Maabad Radi Allaho Anho se riwayat hai ki Hazrat Ibn Abbas Radi Allaho Anhuma ne farmaya ki “Mai Rasool Allah Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ki namaz ka ikhtetam takbeer se janta tha”.
Hind, daughter of al-Harith al-Firasiyyah, reported to me that Umm Salamah, the wife of the Prophet (ﷺ), informed her, “The women in the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) would get up immediately after finishing their prayers with the salutation, while the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and the men who prayed with him would remain sitting for as long as Allah willed. When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) stood up, the men would stand up too.”
ہند بنت حارث فارسیہ نے مجھ سے روایت کی کہ ام المومنین ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے انہیں بتایا کہ "رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے زمانے میں عورتیں سلام پھیرتے ہی نماز سے اٹھ جایا کرتی تھیں جبکہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اور آپ کے ساتھ نماز پڑھنے والے مرد جتنا اللہ چاہتا اتنی دیر بیٹھے رہتے تھے۔ پھر جب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کھڑے ہوتے تو مرد بھی کھڑے ہوجاتے"۔
Hind bint Haris Farsiyah ne mujh se riwayat ki ke Umm ul Momineen Umm e Salma Radi Allahu Anha ne unhen bataya ke "Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke zamane mein auratain salam pherte hi namaz se uth jaya karti thin jab keh Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam aur aap ke sath namaz parhne wale mard jitna Allah chahta utni dair baithe rehte the. Phir jab Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam kharay hote to mard bhi kharay hojate".
Hind bint al-Harith narrated from Umm Salamah who said:
"During the time of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), when he would finish praying the obligatory prayer, the women would get up (and leave) while the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and the men praying behind him remained seated. When the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) stood up, the men would then stand up."
ہند بنت الحاریث نے ام سلمہ سے روایت کی ، انہوں نے کہا: "رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے زمانے میں جب آپ نماز فرض سے فارغ ہوتے تو عورتیں (نماز سے ) اٹھ جاتیں اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اور آپ کے پیچھے نماز پڑھنے والے مرد بیٹھے رہتے ۔ پھر جب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کھڑے ہوتے تو مرد بھی کھڑے ہوتے" ۔
Hind bint al Harith ne Umme Salma se riwayat ki, unhon ne kaha: "Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ke zamane mein jab aap namaz farz se farigh hote to auratain (namaz se) uth jati aur Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam aur aap ke peeche namaz parhne wale mard baithe rehte. Phir jab Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam kharay hote to mard bhi kharay hote."
