Yazid bin Abi Ubaid narrated: He used to go with Salamah bin al-Akwa' to Duha prayer, and he would go to the pillar and pray near it. So I would say to him: “Don't pray here,” and I would point him to some of the sides of the mosque. He would say: “I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) looking for this place.”
یزید بن ابی عبید بیان کرتے ہیں کہ وہ سلمہ بن الاکوعؓ کے ساتھ نمازِ چاشت کے لیے جایا کرتے تھے، اور وہ (سلمہ بن الاکوعؓ) اس کھمبے کے پاس جا کر نماز پڑھتے تھے۔ تو میں ان سے کہتا: "یہاں نماز نہ پڑھو" اور میں انہیں مسجد کے کچھ اطراف کی طرف اشارہ کرتا۔ وہ کہتے تھے کہ: "میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو یہ جگہ تلاش کرتے ہوئے دیکھا ہے۔"
Yazid bin Abi Ubaid bayan karte hain ke woh Salma bin Al-Akwa ke sath namaz e chasht ke liye jaya karte the, aur woh (Salma bin Al-Akwa) is khumbey ke pass ja kar namaz parhte the. To main unse kehta: "yahan namaz na parho" aur main unhen masjid ke kuch اطراف ki taraf ishara karta. Woh kehte the ke: "main ne Rasul Allah SAW ko yeh jagah talash karte huye dekha hai."
Abu Huraira reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "If the people knew what (reward) there is in the call to prayer and the first row, and they could not find a place except by drawing lots, then they would draw lots for it. If they knew what (virtue) there is in going early to the prayer, they would race to it. If they knew what (reward) there is in the late evening and morning prayers, they would come to them even if they had to crawl."
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "اگر لوگ جانتے کہ اذان اور پہلی صف میں کتنی فضیلت ہے تو وہ اس کے لیے قرعہ اندازی کرتے اگر انہیں قرعہ اندازی کے سوا جگہ نہ ملتی اور اگر لوگ جانتے کہ نماز میں جلدی جانے میں کتنی فضیلت ہے تو وہ اس کے لیے دوڑ کر جاتے اور اگر لوگ جانتے کہ عشاء اور فجر کی نماز میں کتنی فضیلت ہے تو وہ گھٹنوں کے بل چل کر ہی سہی ان میں ضرور حاضر ہوتے"
Hazrat Abu Huraira razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai keh Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "Agar log jante keh azaan aur pehli saf mein kitni fazilat hai to woh is ke liye qura andazi karte agar unhen qura andazi ke siwa jagah na milti aur agar log jante keh namaz mein jaldi jane mein kitni fazilat hai to woh is ke liye daura kar jate aur agar log jante keh isha aur fajr ki namaz mein kitni fazilat hai to woh ghutnon ke bal chal kar hi sahi in mein zaroor hazir hote"
Jabir ibn Samurah said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) entered the mosque and said, “Will you not stand in rows as the angels stand in rows before their Lord?” They said, “O Messenger of Allah! How do the angels stand in rows before their Lord?” He said, “They make the first rows complete, and they draw close together in the row.”
حضرت جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم مسجد میں داخل ہوئے اور فرمایا: ”کیا تم اپنے رب کے سامنے اس طرح صفیں درست کر کے نہیں کھڑے ہو گے جس طرح فرشتے اپنے رب کے سامنے صفیں بنا کر کھڑے ہوتے ہیں؟“ صحابہ نے عرض کیا: ”اللہ کے رسول! فرشتے اپنے رب کے سامنے کیسے صفیں بنا کر کھڑے ہوتے ہیں؟“ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”وہ پہلی صفوں کو پورا کرتے ہیں اور صف میں آپس میں مل کر کھڑے ہوتے ہیں۔“
Hazrat Jabir bin Samurah RA se riwayat hai keh Rasool Allah SAW masjid mein daakhil huye aur farmaya: “Kia tum apne Rab ke samne is tarah safein durust kar ke nahi khare ho ge jis tarah farishtey apne Rab ke samne safein bana kar khare hote hain?” Sahaba ne arz kya: “Allah ke Rasool! Farishtey apne Rab ke samne kaise safein bana kar khare hote hain?” Aap SAW ne farmaya: “Woh pehli saffon ko poora karte hain aur saf mein aapas mein mil kar khare hote hain.”
Anas reported that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Straighten your rows, for straightening the rows is part of establishing prayer. If there is a gap, then let it be at the back."
حضرت انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”اپنی صفیں درست کرو، کیونکہ صفوں کو درست کرنا نماز کو درست کرنے میں شامل ہے۔ اگر کوئی جگہ خالی ہو تو اسے پیچھے کی طرف ہونا چاہیے۔“
Hazrat Anas Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Apni safein durust karo, kyunki saffon ko durust karna namaz ko durust karne mein shamil hai. Agar koi jaga khali ho to use peeche ki taraf hona chahie."
Aisha reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "A people will not continue to lag behind the first row until Allah makes them lag behind in the Hellfire."
حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا، "لوگ جب تک پہلی صف کو چھوڑتے رہیں گے اللہ تعالیٰ انہیں جہنم میں پیچھے کرتا رہے گا۔"
Hazrat Aisha Radi Allahu Anha se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya, "Log jab tak pehli saf ko chhorte rahenge Allah Ta'ala unhen Jahannam mein peechhe karta rahega."
Zubayd Al-Iyami narrated to us from Talhah ibn Musrif from Abdur Rahman ibn Awsajah from Al-Bara' (may Allah be pleased with him): **The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) used to come to us and touch our necks and chests and say, "Do not differ in your rows, lest your hearts differ. Indeed, Allah and His angels pray upon the first row."**
زبید الایامی نے ہمیں طلحہ بن مصرف سے ، انہوں نے عبدالرحمٰن بن اوسجہ سے اور انہوں نے حضرت براء رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کی کہ **رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہمارے پاس تشریف لاتے اور ہمارے سینوں اور گردنوں پر ہاتھ پھیرتے اور فرماتے کہ "اپنی صفوں میں فرق نہ کرو ورنہ تمہارے دل بھی مختلف ہو جائیں گے ۔ اللہ تعالیٰ اور اس کے فرشتے پہلی صف پر نماز پڑھتے ہیں۔"**
Zubaid Al-Ayami ne humain Talha bin Musarrif se, unhon ne Abdul Rahman bin Awsaja se aur unhon ne Hazrat Bara RA se riwayat ki ke **Rasool Allah SAW hamare pass tashreef laate aur hamare seeno aur gardnon par hath phirte aur farmate ke "Apni saffon mein farq na karo warna tumhare dil bhi mukhtalif ho jayenge. Allah Ta'ala aur uske farishte pehli saf par namaz parhte hain."**
Al-'Irbad ibn Sariyah narrated that the Messenger of Allah, may the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him, "would pray for the first row, the one in the front, three times, and for the second row once."
حضرت عروہ بن زبیر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پہلی صف کے لیے تین بار اور دوسری صف کے لیے ایک بار دعا فرماتے تھے۔
Hazrat Urwa bin Zubair Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam pehli saf ke liye teen baar aur dusri saf ke liye ek baar dua farmate thay.
Al-'Irbad ibn Sariyah, one of the People of the Bench, narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to pray three times over the first row and once over the second.
حضرت عروہ بن زبیر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پہلی صف پر تین مرتبہ اور دوسری صف پر ایک مرتبہ دعا فرماتے تھے ۔
Hazrat Urwa bin Zubair Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam pehli saf par teen martaba aur dusri saf par ek martaba dua farmate thay.
Aisha said that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Verily, Allah and His angels send blessings upon those on the right flanks of rows (in prayer)."
حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا، " اللہ تعالیٰ اور اس کے فرشتے صفیں (نماز میں) کی دائیں جانب والوں پر رحمت بھیجتے ہیں" ۔
Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allahu Anha se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya, " Allah Ta'ala aur uske firishte safin (namaz mein) ki dayen janib walon par rehmat bhejte hain" .
Narrated Al-Bara '
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to pass by our necks and chests (while we were praying in rows) and say, "Straighten your rows, or Allah will cause discord amongst your hearts." He (ﷺ) also said, "Verily, Allah and His angels pray upon the front rows."
حضرت البراء رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہماری گردنوں اور سینوں کے پاس سے گزرتے (جب ہم صفیں بنا کر نماز پڑھ رہے ہوتے) اور فرماتے، ''اپنی صفیں سیدھی کرو ورنہ اللہ تمہارے دلوں میں نفاق ڈال دے گا''۔ اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے یہ بھی فرمایا، ''بے شک اللہ تعالیٰ اور اس کے فرشتے اگلی صفوں پر رحمت نازل فرماتے ہیں''۔
Hazrat Albara RA se riwayat hai keh Rasul Allah SAW humari gardnon aur seeno ke paas se guzarte (jab hum safein bana kar namaz parh rahe hote) aur farmate, "Apni safein seedhi karo warna Allah tumhare dilon mein nifaaq daal dega". Aur Aap SAW ne ye bhi farmaya, "Be shak Allah Ta'ala aur uske farishtey agli saffon par rehmat nazil farmate hain".
Jabir ibn Samurah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Will you not stand in rows as the angels stand in rows before their Lord?" They (the Companions) said: "O Messenger of Allah, how do the angels stand in rows before their Lord?” He said: “They perfect the front rows and they close the gaps in the row.”
جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”کیا تم اپنے رب کے سامنے صفوں میں اس طرح نہ کھڑے ہو گے جیسے فرشتے اپنے رب کے سامنے صفیں بنا کر کھڑے ہوتے ہیں؟“ صحابہ نے عرض کیا: ”اللہ کے رسول! فرشتے اپنے رب کے سامنے کیسے صفیں بنا کر کھڑے ہوتے ہیں؟“ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”وہ اگلی صفوں کو مکمل کرتے ہیں اور صف میں خلا کو پُر کرتے ہیں۔“
Jibir bin Samrah RA se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah SAW ne farmaya: "Kia tum apne Rab ke samne saffon mein is tarah na kharay ho ge jaise farishtay apne Rab ke samne safein bana kar kharay hotay hain?" Sahaba ne arz kia: "Allah ke Rasul! Farishtay apne Rab ke samne kaise safein bana kar kharay hotay hain?" Aap SAW ne farmaya: "Woh agli saffon ko mukammal karte hain aur saf mein khila ko pur karte hain."
Uthman bin 'Urwa reported from his father, from Aisha, that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Verily, Allah and His angels send blessings upon those who join the rows (in prayer)."
حضرت عثمان بن عروہ اپنے والد سے روایت کرتے ہیں، انہوں نے حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے، کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: " اللہ تعالیٰ اور اس کے فرشتے صفوں کو ملا کر نماز پڑھنے والوں پر رحمت بھیجتے ہیں۔"
Hazrat Usman bin Urwah apne wald se riwayat karte hain, unhon ne Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allahu anha se, ke Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: " Allah Ta'ala aur uske farishte saffon ko mila kar namaz parhne walon par rehmat bhejte hain."
'Aisha reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, and His angels pray for those who join the rows (in prayer)."
حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا اللہ عزوجل اور اس کے فرشتے صفیں ملا کر نماز پڑھنے والوں پر رحمت بھیجتے ہیں
Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allahu Anha se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya Allah Azzawajal aur uske farishtey safin mila kar namaz parhne walon par rehmat bhejte hain
Simak narrated from An-Nu'man bin Bashir who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to straighten the row until it was like the straightness of a wall or a bow. He saw a man's chest protruding, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "O servants of Allah! Straighten your rows or Allah will cause discord between your hearts."
سماک نے نُعمان بن بشیر سے روایت کی ، کہا : رسول اللہ ﷺ صف کو اس طرح سیدھا کرتے تھے کہ وہ دیوار یا کمان کی طرح سیدھی ہو جاتی۔ آپ ﷺ نے ایک شخص کا سینہ آگے نکلا ہوا دیکھا تو فرمایا : "اے اللہ کے بندو! اپنی صفیں سیدھی کرو ورنہ اللہ تمہارے دلوں میں اختلاف ڈال دے گا۔"
Samak ne Numan bin Bashir se riwayat ki, kaha: Rasul Allah ﷺ saf ko is tarah seedha karte thay ke woh deewar ya kaman ki tarah seedhi ho jati. Aap ﷺ ne ek shakhs ka seena aage nikla hua dekha to farmaya: "Aye Allah ke bando! Apni safein seedhi karo warna Allah tumhare dilon mein ikhtilaf daal dega."
Anas narrated that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Straighten your rows, stand close together, and align your shoulders. By the One in whose hand is my soul, I see Satan entering through the gaps in the row as if they were small birds."
حضرت انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "اپنی صفیں سیدھی کرو، کندھے سے کندھا ملا کر کھڑے ہو جاؤ اور صفوں میں بندش پیدا کرو۔ اس ذات کی قسم جس کے ہاتھ میں میری جان ہے، میں شیطان کو صفوں کے شگافوں سے ایسے داخل ہوتے ہوئے دیکھتا ہوں جیسے چھوٹے پرندے ہوتے ہیں۔"
Hazrat Anas radhi Allahu anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "Apni safein seedhi karo, kandhe se kandha mila kar khare ho jao aur safon mein bandish paida karo. Iss Zaat ki qasam jis ke hath mein meri jaan hai, main Shaitan ko safon ke shigafon se aise dakhil hote hue dekhta hun jaise chhote parinde hote hain."
Hittan ibn `Abdillah Ar-Raqashi narrated:
that Al-Ash'ari led his companions in prayer. When he sat down in his prayer, a man among the people said, "Has the prayer been made incumbent with righteousness and Zakah?" When Al-Ash'ari finished his prayer, he turned to the people and said, "Which of you said such and such words?" The people remained silent, so he said, "Was it you, Hittan?" He said, "By Allah, I did not say it, and I was afraid that you would beat me for it." A man among the people said, "I said it, and I did not intend anything but good by it." Al-Ash'ari said, "Do you not know what you are saying in your prayers? The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) delivered a sermon to us, taught us our Sunnah, and explained our prayer to us. He said: 'When the prayer is established, then straighten your rows, and let one of you lead you. When he says the Takbir, then say the Takbir. When he says, 'Ghair-il Maghdubi `alaihim wa la-d-dallin (not of those who earned Your Anger, nor of those who went astray),' then say, 'Ameen', may Allah guide you. Then, when he performs the Takbir for bowing, then say the Takbir and bow, for the Imam bows before you and rises before you.'" The Prophet of Allah (ﷺ) said, "That (bowing) corresponds to that (Takbir). When he says, 'Sami`a Allahu liman Hamidah (Allah hears those who praise Him),' then say, 'Allahumma Rabbana lakal Hamd (O Allah, our Lord, to You be praise).' For Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, said on the tongue of His Prophet (ﷺ): 'Sami`a Allahu liman Hamidah (Allah hears those who praise Him).' Then, when he performs the Takbir for prostration, then say the Takbir and prostrate, for the Imam prostrates before you and rises before you." The Prophet of Allah (ﷺ) said, "That (prostration) corresponds to that (Takbir). When he is sitting, then one of you should say: 'Attahiyyatu lillahi wassalawatu wattayyibatu, Assalamu `alaika Ayyuhan-Nabiyyu wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh, Assalamu `alaina wa `ala `ibadillahis-salihin, Ash-hadu an la ilaha illallahu, wa ash-hadu anna Muhammadan `Abduhu wa Rasuluh (All compliments, prayers and pure words are due to Allah. Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and Allah's mercy and blessings be upon you. Peace be upon us, and upon Allah's righteous slaves. I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger).'"
حضرت ہتان بن عبداللہ الرقاشی رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ حضرت ابو موسیٰ اشعری رضی اللہ عنہ نے اپنی ایک جماعت کو نماز پڑھائی، جب وہ نماز میں بیٹھے تو لوگوں میں سے ایک شخص نے کہا: کیا نماز قسط کے ساتھ فرض کی گئی ہے اور زکوٰۃ؟، جب اشعری رضی اللہ عنہ نے نماز پوری کرلی تو لوگوں کی طرف متوجہ ہوئے اور کہا: تم میں سے کس نے فلاں فلاں بات کہی؟، لوگ خاموش رہے تو آپ نے فرمایا: کیا وہ تم ہی ہو ہتان؟، کہنے لگے: اللہ کی قسم میں نے نہیں کہی اور مجھے یہ ڈر تھا کہ کہیں آپ مجھے اس پر نہ ماریں، لوگوں میں سے ایک شخص نے کہا: میں نے کہی ہے اور میں نے اس سے bondd مراد نہیں لی تھی، حضرت اشعری رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا: کیا تم نہیں جانتے کہ تم اپنی نماز میں کیا کہہ رہے ہو؟، اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہمیں خطبہ دیا، ہمیں ہماری سنت سکھائی اور ہماری نماز ہمیں سمجھائی، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جب نماز قائم ہوجائے تو اپنی صفیں سیدھی کرلو اور تم میں سے ایک تمہیں نماز پڑھائے، جب وہ تکبیر کہے تو تم تکبیر کہو، جب وہ "غیر المغضوب علیھم ولا الضالین" کہے تو تم "آمین" کہو، اللہ تمہیں ہدایت دے، پھر جب وہ رکوع کے لیے تکبیر کہے تو تم تکبیر کہو اور رکوع کرو کیونکہ امام تم سے پہلے رکوع کرتا ہے اور تم سے پہلے اٹھتا ہے، اللہ کے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تو یہ اس کے مطابق ہے، جب وہ "سمع اللہ لمن حمدہ" کہے تو تم کہو "اللھم ربنا لک الحمد" کیونکہ اللہ عزوجل نے اپنے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی زبان پر فرمایا ہے " سمع اللہ لمن حمدہ" پھر جب وہ سجدہ کے لیے تکبیر کہے تو تم تکبیر کہو اور سجدہ کرو کیونکہ امام تم سے پہلے سجدہ کرتا ہے اور تم سے پہلے اٹھتا ہے، اللہ کے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تو یہ اس کے مطابق ہے، اور جب وہ بیٹھے تو تم میں سے کوئی ایک یہ کہے: "التحیات للہ والصلوات والطيبات، السلام علیک ایھا النبي ورحمة اللہ وبركاتہ، السلام علینا وعلى عباد اللہ الصالحین، أشهد أن لا إلہ إلا اللہ، وأشهد أن محمداً عبدہ ورسولہ"۔
Hazrat Hittan bin Abdullah al-Raqashi Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Hazrat Abu Musa Ash'ari Radi Allahu Anhu ne apni ek jamaat ko namaz parhayi, jab woh namaz mein baithe to logon mein se ek shakhs ne kaha: kya namaz qist ke sath farz ki gayi hai aur zakat?, jab Ash'ari Radi Allahu Anhu ne namaz puri kar li to logon ki taraf mutawajjah huye aur kaha: tum mein se kis ne falan falan baat kahi?, log khamosh rahe to aap ne farmaya: kya woh tum hi ho Hittan?, kahne lage: Allah ki qasam mein ne nahin kahi aur mujhe yeh dar tha ki kahin aap mujhe is par na maren, logon mein se ek shakhs ne kaha: mein ne kahi hai aur mein ne is se bondd murad nahin li thi, Hazrat Ash'ari Radi Allahu Anhu ne farmaya: kya tum nahin jaante ki tum apni namaz mein kya kah rahe ho?, Allah ke Rasul Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne hamen khutba diya, hamen hamari sunnat sikhayi aur hamari namaz hamen samjhayi, aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: jab namaz qayam ho jaye to apni safein seedhi kar lo aur tum mein se ek tumhen namaz parhaiye, jab woh takbeer kahe to tum takbeer kaho, jab woh "Ghair-il-Maghdubi Alaihim Wa La Dhalleen" kahe to tum "Aameen" kaho, Allah tumhen hidayat de, phir jab woh ruku ke liye takbeer kahe to tum takbeer kaho aur ruku karo kyunki imam tum se pehle ruku karta hai aur tum se pehle uthta hai, Allah ke Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: to yeh is ke mutabiq hai, jab woh "Sami Allahu Liman Hamidah" kahe to tum kaho "Allahuma Rabbana Laka Al-Hamd" kyunki Allah Azzawajal ne apne Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ki zaban par farmaya hai " Sami Allahu Liman Hamidah" phir jab woh sijde ke liye takbeer kahe to tum takbeer kaho aur sijda karo kyunki imam tum se pehle sijda karta hai aur tum se pehle uthta hai, Allah ke Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: to yeh is ke mutabiq hai, aur jab woh baithe to tum mein se koi ek yeh kahe: "Attahiyatul Lillahi Was Salawatu Wattayyibat, Assalamu Alaika Ayyuhan Nabiyyu Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh, Assalamu Alaina Wa Ala Ibadillahis Saliheen, Ashhadu An La Ilaha Illallah, Wa Ashhadu Anna Muhammadan Abduhu Wa Rasooluh".
Anas bin Malik narrated: The Prophet (ﷺ) whenever he stood up for prayer, would hold (my hand) with his right hand and then turn (to us) and say, "Straighten your rows, and make them straight. " He would then hold (my hand) with his left hand and then say, "Straighten your rows and make them straight." When the mosque was demolished, this small trunk was taken by the tribe of Banu 'Amr bin 'Awf and they placed it in their mosque. Umar (May Allah be pleased with him) searched for it and found it, and took it back.
حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب نماز کے لیے کھڑے ہوتے تو میرا ہاتھ اپنے سیدھے ہاتھ سے پکڑ لیتے اور (ہماری طرف) متوجہ ہو کر فرماتے، “اپنی صفوں کو سیدھا کرو اور انہیں برابر رکھو”۔ پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم میرا ہاتھ اپنے بائیں ہاتھ سے پکڑتے اور فرماتے، “اپنی صفوں کو سیدھا کرو اور انہیں برابر رکھو”۔ پھر جب مسجد کو گرایا گیا تو بنو عمرو بن عوف کی قوم نے اس چھوٹے صندوق کو لے لیا اور اسے اپنی مسجد میں رکھ لیا۔ حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے اسے تلاش کیا اور پالیا، اور اسے واپس لے آئے۔
Hazrat Anas bin Malik Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai keh Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam jab namaz ke liye kharay hote to mera hath apne seedhay hath se pakar lete aur humari taraf mutawajjah ho kar farmate, “Apni safo ko seedha karo aur unhein barabar rakho”. Phir Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam mera hath apne baen hath se pakarte aur farmate, “Apni safo ko seedha karo aur unhein barabar rakho”. Phir jab masjid ko giraya gaya to Banu Umro bin Auf ki qaum ne is chhote sandooq ko le liya aur ise apni masjid mein rakh liya. Hazrat Umar Radi Allahu Anhu ne ise talaash kiya aur paya, aur ise wapas le aaye.
Anas ibn Malik narrated: When Umar expanded the mosque, they forgot about the wood which used to be in the direction of prayer. Anas said, "Do you know why that wood was placed there?" They said, "No." He said, "Whenever the prayer was established, the Prophet (ﷺ) would take hold of the wood with his right hand and then turn and say, 'Straighten your rows and stand straight.' Then he would take it with his left hand, then turn and say, 'Straighten your rows.'"
عن انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کہ جب حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے مسجد کی توسیع کی تو وہ لکڑی بھول گئے جو قبلہ کی سمت ہوا کرتی تھی حضرت انس رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا کیا تم جانتے ہو کہ یہ لکڑی کیوں رکھی جاتی تھی؟ انہوں نے کہا نہیں انہوں نے فرمایا جب بھی نماز قائم ہوتی تو نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اپنے سیدھے ہاتھ سے لکڑی پکڑتے اور پھر مڑ کر فرماتے اپنی صفیں سیدھی کرو اور سیدھے کھڑے ہو جاؤ پھر آپ اسے اپنے بائیں ہاتھ سے پکڑتے پھر مڑتے اور فرماتے اپنی صفیں سیدھی کرو
An Anas bin Malik Radi Allaho Anho keh jab Hazrat Umar Radi Allaho Anho ne Masjid ki tosee ki to woh lakdi bhul gaye jo qibla ki simt hua karti thi Hazrat Anas Radi Allaho Anho ne farmaya kya tum jante ho keh yeh lakdi kyun rakhi jati thi Unhon ne kaha nahin Unhon ne farmaya jab bhi namaz qaim hoti to Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam apne seedhe hath se lakdi pakdte aur phir mud kar farmate apni safein seedhi karo aur seedhe khare ho jao phir aap ise apne bayein hath se pakdte phir mudte aur farmate apni safein seedhi karo
Anas reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Straighten your rows, for straightening the rows is part of the correctness of the prayer."
حضرت انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا، "اپنی صفیں سیدھی کرو، کیونکہ صفیں سیدھی کرنا نماز کی درستگی میں سے ہے"۔
Hazrat Anas Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya, "Apni safain seedhi karo, kyunki safain seedhi karna namaz ki durusti mein se hai".
Abu Mas'ud narrated that: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would wipe over our shoes in prayer, and he would say: "Stand straight and do not differ, for it will cause your hearts to differ. The most lenient of you to me are those with sound minds and understanding, then those who come after them, then those who come after them." Abu Mas'ud said: "And you today are most divided."
حضرت ابو مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نماز میں ہمارے موزوں پر مسح فرماتے تھے اور آپ ﷺ فرماتے تھے: '' سیدھے کھڑے ہوا کرو اور اختلاف مت کرو کہ تمہارے دل بھی مختلف ہو جائیں گے۔ تم میں مجھے زیادہ محبوب وہ ہیں جو عقل و سمجھ والے ہیں، پھر ان کے بعد والے، پھر ان کے بعد والے۔'' ابو مسعود کہتے ہیں: ''اور تم آج سب سے زیادہ مختلف ہو۔''
Hazrat Abu Masood Raziallahu Anhu bayan karte hain ke Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam namaz mein hamare mozon par masah farmate thay aur aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam farmate thay: ''Seedhay khaday hua karo aur ikhtilaf mat karo ke tumhare dil bhi mukhtalif ho jayen ge. Tum mein mujhe ziada mehboob woh hain jo aql o samajh walay hain, phir un ke baad walay, phir un ke baad walay.'' Abu Masood kehte hain: ''Aur tum aaj sab se ziada mukhtalif ho.''
Anas bin Malik narrated that: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) faced us before he said Takbir for the prayer and said, "Straighten your rows and stand close to each other, for I see you from behind my back."
حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہمارے سامنے (نماز کے لیے کھڑے ہونے سے پہلے) رخ کر کے فرماتے: ''تم اپنی صفیں سیدھی کرو اور کندھے سے کندھا ملا کر کھڑے ہوا کرو، کیونکہ میں تمہیں اپنی پیٹھ کے پیچھے سے بھی دیکھ رہا ہوتا ہوں۔''
Hazrat Anas bin Malik Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam humare samne (namaz ke liye kharay honay se pehle) rukh kar ke farmate: ''Tum apni safen seedhi karo aur kandhe se kandha mila kar kharay hua karo, kyunki main tumhen apni peeth ke peeche se bhi dekh raha hota hun.''
Anas narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Straighten your rows, for the straightening of the row is part of the completeness of the prayer."
حضرت انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: "اپنی صفوں کو سیدھا کرو کیونکہ صفوں کا سیدھا ہونا نماز کی تکمیل میں سے ہے"۔
Hazrat Anas Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ke Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Apni safo ko seedha karo kyunki safo ka seedha hona namaz ki takmeel mein se hai".
Simak narrated that he heard An-Nu'man Ibn Bashir giving a sermon and saying: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) used to straighten the row till it was like a straight arrow or spear. He then saw the chest of a man protruding from the row, and said: “Slaves of Allah! You should straighten your rows, otherwise Allah will create disunity among your hearts."
سمک نے بیان کیا کہ انہوں نے نعمان بن بشیر رضی اللہ عنہ کو خطبہ دیتے ہوئے سنا، وہ کہہ رہے تھے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم صف کو اس طرح سیدھا کرتے تھے کہ وہ تیر یا نیزے کی طرح سیدھی ہو جاتی تھی، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک شخص کا سینہ صف سے باہر نکلا ہوا دیکھا تو فرمایا: " اللہ کے بندو! اپنی صفیں سیدھی کرو ورنہ اللہ تمہارے دلوں میں نفاق ڈال دے گا"۔
Samik ne bayan kya keh unhon ne Noman bin Bashir razi Allahu anhu ko khutba dete huye suna, woh keh rahe thay keh Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam saf ko iss tarah seedha karte thay keh woh teer ya neze ki tarah seedhi ho jati thi, phir Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne aik shakhs ka seena saf se bahar nikla hua dekha to farmaya: " Allah ke bando! Apni safein seedhi karo warna Allah tumhare dilon mein nifaaq daal dega".
Nu'man bin Bashir said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ addressed us and said: "Straighten your rows, by Allah, you either straighten your rows, or Allah will cause discord between your hearts." He said: I saw the man adhering his ankle to the ankle of his companion and his shoulder to the shoulder of his companion.
نُعمان بن بشیر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہمیں مخاطب کر کے فرمایا: اپنی صفیں سیدھی کرو، اللہ کی قسم! تم اپنی صفیں سیدھی کر لو گے ورنہ اللہ تمہارے دلوں میں نفاق ڈال دے گا۔ وہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے دیکھا کہ ایک آدمی اپنے ٹخنے کو اپنے ساتھی کے ٹخنے سے اور اپنے کندھے کو اپنے ساتھی کے کندھے سے ملائے ہوئے تھا۔
Noman bin Bashir razi Allahu anhu kehte hain ki Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne hamen mukhatib kar ke farmaya: Apni safein seedhi karo, Allah ki qasam! Tum apni safein seedhi kar loge warna Allah tumhare dil mein nifaaq daal dega. Wo kehte hain ki main ne dekha ki ek aadmi apne takhne ko apne sathi ke takhne se aur apne kandhe ko apne sathi ke kandhe se milaye hue tha.
Abu Huraira reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Straighten your rows in prayer, for indeed, straightening the rows is from the perfection of prayer.”
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "نماز میں اپنی صوتیں سیدھی کرو، کیونکہ صفیں کا سیدھا ہونا نماز کی خوبصورتی میں سے ہے۔"
Hazrat Abu Huraira razi Allahu anhu se riwayat hai keh Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: Namaz mein apni aawazen seedhi karo, kyunki safon ka seedha hona namaz ki khoobsurti mein se hai.
Abu Mas'ud said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to pat our shoulders in prayer and say, "Straighten your rows, for your hearts become discordant as you are discordant in your rows. Let those with the most understanding and intelligence stand closest to me, then those who come after them, then those who come after them."
حضرت ابو مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نماز میں ہماری قطاروں کو برابر کرتے تھے اور فرماتے: اپنی صفیں سیدھی کرو کیونکہ تمہارے دل اسی طرح مختلف ہوتے ہیں جیسے تم صفیں مختلف رکھتے ہو۔ اور میرے قریب ترین سمجھدار اور عقل مند لوگ کھڑے ہوں پھر ان کے پیچھے، پھر ان کے پیچھے۔
Hazrat Abu Masood Raziallahu Anhu kehte hain ke Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam Namaz mein hamari qataron ko barabar karte thay aur farmate: Apni safein seedhi karo kyunke tumhare dil usi tarah mukhtalif hote hain jaise tum safein mukhtalif rakhte ho. Aur mere qareeb tareen samajhdaar aur aqal mand log kharay hon phir un ke peeche, phir un ke peeche.
Abu Huraira reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Straighten your rows in prayer, for the excellence of the rows in prayer is in their straightening. The best of the men's rows in prayer is the first and the worst is the last. The best of the women's rows in prayer is the last and the worst is the first."
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "نماز میں اپنی صفیں سیدھی کرو کیونکہ نماز میں صفوں کی فضیلت ان کے سیدھے ہونے میں ہے۔ مردوں کی صفوں میں سب سے بہتر پہلی صف ہے اور سب سے خراب آخری ہے۔ عورتوں کی صفوں میں سب سے بہتر آخری صف ہے اور سب سے خراب پہلی ہے۔"
Hazrat Abu Huraira Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Namaz mein apni safein seedhi karo kyunki namaz mein safo ki fazilat un ke seedhe hone mein hai. Mardon ki safo mein sab se behtar pehli saf hai aur sab se kharab aakhri hai. Auratho ki safo mein sab se behtar aakhri saf hai aur sab se kharab pehli hai."
Narrated `Abdullah: The Prophet ﷺ said, "The best among you (in Islam) are those who have understanding and are wise, then those who follow them, then those who follow them. And do not differ (from each other) for it will cause your hearts to differ. And avoid being in the crowds of the marketplaces."
حضرت عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”تم میں بہترین مسلمان وہ ہیں جو سمجھدار اور عقلمند ہیں، پھر ان کے بعد جو ان کی پیروی کرتے ہیں، پھر ان کے بعد جو ان کی پیروی کرتے ہیں۔ اور آپس میں اختلاف نہ کرو کیونکہ اس سے تمہارے دل الگ الگ ہو جائیں گے۔ اور بازاروں کی بھیڑ میں گھومنے سے بچو۔“
Hazrat Abdullah Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: ”Tum mein behtarin Musalman wo hain jo samajhdaar aur aqalmand hain, phir un ke baad jo un ki pairavi karte hain, phir un ke baad jo un ki pairavi karte hain. Aur aapas mein ikhtilaf na karo kyunki is se tumhare dil alag alag ho jayenge. Aur bazaron ki bheed mein ghoomne se bacho.“
Qais ibn 'Abbad said: While I was in Medina in the mosque, in the first row, praying, a man pulled me from behind, pulling me aside, and he stood (in my place). By Allah, I could not concentrate on my prayer. When he finished, it turned out to be Ubayy ibn Ka'b. He said, "O nephew, may Allah not test you! This is a covenant from the Prophet (peace be upon him) to us, that we should pray behind him." Then he faced the qibla and said, "The people of the covenant have perished, by the Lord of the Ka'bah," three times. Then he said, "By Allah, I do not grieve for them, but I grieve for those whom they have misled." I said, "Whom do you mean by this?" He said, "The rulers."
قیس بن عباد رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں مدینہ میں مسجد میں پہلی صف میں نماز پڑھ رہا تھا کہ ایک شخص نے پیچھے سے مجھے کھینچ کر ایک طرف کر دیا اور خود میری جگہ کھڑا ہو گیا۔ اللہ کی قسم! میں اپنی نماز پر توجہ ہی نہیں دے سکا۔ جب اس نے نماز پوری کر لی تو وہ ابی بن کعب رضی اللہ عنہ نکلے۔ انہوں نے کہا: "اے بھتیجے! اللہ تمہیں آزمائش میں نہ ڈالے! یہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا ہم سے عہد ہے کہ ہم آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پیچھے نماز پڑھیں"۔ پھر انہوں نے قبلہ رخ ہو کر تین بار کہا: "کعبہ کے رب کی قسم! عہد کرنے والے ہلاک ہو گئے"۔ پھر انہوں نے کہا: "اللہ کی قسم! مجھے ان پر غم نہیں ہے بلکہ مجھے ان لوگوں پر غم ہے جنہیں انہوں نے گمراہ کیا ہے"۔ میں نے کہا: "اس سے آپ کی مراد کون ہیں؟"۔ انہوں نے کہا: "حکمران"۔
Qais bin Abad Radi Allahu Anhu kehte hain ki mein Madinah mein masjid mein pehli saf mein namaz parh raha tha ki ek shakhs ne peeche se mujhe khench kar ek taraf kar diya aur khud meri jagah khara ho gaya. Allah ki qasam! mein apni namaz par tawajjo hi nahin de saka. Jab usne namaz puri kar li to woh Ubayy bin Ka'b Radi Allahu Anhu nikle. Unhon ne kaha: "Aye bhateeje! Allah tumhein aazmaish mein na dale! Yeh Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ka hum se ahd hai ki hum aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke peeche namaz parhein". Phir unhon ne qibla rukh ho kar teen baar kaha: "Ka'bah ke Rab ki qasam! Ahd karne wale halaak ho gaye". Phir unhon ne kaha: "Allah ki qasam! Mujhe un par gham nahin hai balki mujhe un logon par gham hai jinhen unhon ne gumrah kiya hai". Maine kaha: "Iss se aap ki murad kaun hain?". Unhon ne kaha: "Hukmran".
Abu Hurairah reported: The Prophet ﷺ said: “When one of you prays, and takes off his sandals, let him not harm anyone with them, and let him place them between his feet, or let him pray in them.”
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”تم میں سے جب کوئی نماز پڑھے اور اپنی جوتیاں اتارے تو ان سے کسی کو نقصان نہ پہنچائے اور انہیں اپنے پیروں کے درمیان رکھ لے یا انہیں پہنے ہوئے نماز پڑھ لے۔“
Hazrat Abu Huraira Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai keh Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Tum mein se jab koi namaz parhe aur apni jootian utar le to un se kisi ko nuqsan na pahunchaye aur unhein apne pairon ke darmiyan rakh le ya unhein pehne hue namaz parh le."
'Iyaḍ ibn 'Abd Allāh al-Qurashī told us, from Sa'eed ibn Abī Sa'eed, from Abū Hurayrah that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When one of you prays, let him wear his sandals or take them off and place them between his feet, and let him not harm anyone with them."
ہم سے ایاد بن عبداللہ قریشی نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے کہا ہم سے سعید بن ابی سعید نے بیان کیا، ان سے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”جب تم میں سے کوئی نماز پڑھے تو اپنی جوتیاں پہنے رکھے یا انہیں اتار کر اپنے دونوں پاؤں کے درمیان رکھ لے اور ان سے کسی کو تکلیف نہ دے“۔
Hum se Ayad bin Abdullah Quraishi ne bayan kya, unhon ne kaha hum se Saeed bin Abi Saeed ne bayan kya, un se Abu Hurairah Radi Allahu Anhu ne bayan kya ke Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya “Jab tum mein se koi namaz parhe to apni jootiyan pehne rakhe ya unhen utar kar apne donon paon ke darmiyan rakh le aur un se kisi ko takleef na de”.
Abu Sa'id al-Khudri reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) led us in prayer, and when he prayed, he took off his sandals and put them to his left. So the people took off their sandals. When he finished his prayer, he said, "What made you take off your sandals?" They said, "We saw you take yours off, so we took ours off." He said, "Verily, I did not take them off for any reason except that Gabriel informed me that there was some filth on them. So when one of you comes to the mosque, let him look at his sandals; if he sees any filth on them, let him wipe them off."
حضرت ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہمیں نماز پڑھائی، جب آپ نماز کے لیے کھڑے ہوئے تو اپنی نعلین اتار کر بائیں جانب رکھ دیں، لوگوں نے بھی اپنی اپنی نعلین اتار دیں، جب آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نماز سے فارغ ہوئے تو فرمایا: تم نے اپنی اپنی نعلین کیوں اتاریں؟ لوگوں نے عرض کیا: ہم نے آپ کو اپنی نعلین اتارتے دیکھا تو ہم نے بھی اپنی اپنی نعلین اتار دیں، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: مجھے تو جبریل علیہ السلام نے خبر دی تھی کہ میری نعلین میں کچھ گندگی لگ گئی ہے، اس لیے میں نے اپنی نعلین اتاریں، لہٰذا تم میں سے جب کوئی مسجد میں آئے تو اپنی نعلین کو دیکھ لے، اگر اس میں کوئی گندگی نظر آئے تو اسے صاف کر کے مسجد میں داخل ہو۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri raziallahu anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne humain namaz parhayi, jab aap namaz ke liye kharay huye to apni naleen utar kar bayen janib rakh dein, logon ne bhi apni apni naleen utar dein, jab aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam namaz se farigh huye to farmaya: tum ne apni apni naleen kyun utarin? Logon ne arz kiya: hum ne aap ko apni naleen utarte dekha to hum ne bhi apni apni naleen utar dein, aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: mujhe to Jibraeel alaihissalam ne khabar di thi ki meri naleen mein kuch gandagi lag gayi hai, is liye mein ne apni naleen utarin, lihaza tum mein se jab koi masjid mein aaye to apni naleen ko dekh le, agar us mein koi gandagi nazar aaye to use saaf kar ke masjid mein dakhil ho.
Abu Thabit reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: "Act differently from the Jews and the Christians, for they do not offer prayer in their shoes and their leather socks."
حضرت ابو ثابت رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”یہود و نصاریٰ کی مخالفت کرو، وہ اپنی جوتیوں اور جرابوں سمیت نماز نہیں پڑھتے۔“
Hazrat Abu Sabit razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: “Yahud o Nasara ki mukhalafaat karo, woh apni jootiyon aur jurabon samet namaz nahi parhte.”
Abu Huraira reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "When one of you prays, let him place his sandals between his feet and not harm anyone else with them."
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جب تم میں سے کوئی نماز پڑھے تو اپنی جوتیاں اپنے دونوں پاؤں کے درمیان رکھ لے اور ان سے کسی دوسرے کو تکلیف نہ دے۔“
Hazrat Abu Hurairah razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "Jab tum mein se koi namaz parhe to apni jootiyan apne donon paon ke darmiyaan rakh le aur in se kisi dusre ko takleef na de."
Abu Huraira reported that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "When one of you prays, let him not place his shoes to his right or his left, such that they are to the right of another person, but rather let him place them to his left. And let him place them between his feet."
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "جب تم میں سے کوئی نماز پڑھے تو اپنے جوتے اپنے دائیں یا بائیں جانب اس طرح نہ رکھے کہ وہ دوسرے کے دائیں جانب ہوں بلکہ انہیں اپنے بائیں جانب رکھے اور انہیں اپنے دونوں قدموں کے درمیان رکھے"۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai ki Nabi Kareem sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "Jab tum mein se koi namaz parhe to apne joote apne daayen ya baayen janib is tarah na rakhe ki woh dusre ke daayen janib hon balkeh unhen apne baayen janib rakhe aur unhen apne donon qadmon ke darmiyaan rakhe".
Abdullah bin As-Sa'ib narrated: I was with Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) on the day of the Conquest of Makkah. He led the prayer in the Ka'bah and took off his shoes and placed them to his left. He then began to recite Surat-al-Muminun. When he reached the mention of 'Isa (Jesus) or Musa (Moses), a slumber overtook him so he dozed off.
عبداللہ بن السائب رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ میں فتحِ مکہ والے دن رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ تھا۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کعبہ میں نماز پڑھائی اور اپنے جوتے اتار کر بائیں جانب رکھ لیے۔ پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے سورۃ المؤمنین کی تلاوت شروع فرمائی۔ جب آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم عیسیٰ علیہ السلام یا موسیٰ علیہ السلام کے ذکر پر پہنچے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو اونگھ آ گئی اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو جھپکی آ گئی۔
Abdullah bin Alsaib razi Allah anhu bayan karte hain ki main Fath Makkah wale din Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ke sath tha Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne Kaaba mein namaz parhai aur apne joote utar kar bayein janib rakh liye Phir aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne Surah Almominoon ki tilawat shuru farmai Jab aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam Isa alaihissalam ya Moosa alaihissalam ke zikar par pahunche to aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ko ungh aa gai aur aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ko jhapki aa gai
Abu Huraira narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “When the Mu'adhdhin pronounces the Iqamah, there is no prayer except the prescribed prayer.”
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”جب مؤذن اقامت کہہ دے تو پھر کوئی نماز نہیں سوائے فرض نماز کے ۔“
Hazrat Abu Huraira Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Jab muazzin iqamat keh de to phir koi namaz nahin siwae farz namaz ke."
Narrated 'Abdullah bin Sarjis: A man entered the mosque after the prayer had begun and the Prophet ﷺ was praying. He prayed two rak'ahs and then joined the row. When the Prophet ﷺ finished the prayer, he said, "With which one did you count or with which one did you reckon? The one you prayed with us or the one you prayed alone?"
عبداللہ بن سارجس رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک شخص مسجد میں داخل ہوا، نماز شروع ہو چکی تھی اور نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نماز پڑھا رہے تھے، اس نے دو رکعتیں ادا کیں پھر صف میں شامل ہو گیا، جب نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے نماز پوری کر لی تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”تم نے کس کے ساتھ گنا ہے یا کس کے ساتھ اندازہ لگایا ہے؟ اس کے ساتھ جس کے ہم نے ساتھ نماز پڑھی ہے یا اس کے ساتھ جسے تم نے اکیلے پڑھا ہے؟“
Abdullah bin Sarjas radi Allahu anhu kehte hain ke ek shakhs masjid mein dakhil hua, namaz shuru ho chuki thi aur Nabi Kareem sallallahu alaihi wasallam namaz parha rahe the, usne do rakaten ada keen phir saf mein shamil ho gaya, jab Nabi Kareem sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne namaz puri kar li to aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: ”Tum ne kiske sath gina hai ya kiske sath andaza lagaya hai? Uske sath jiske humne sath namaz parhi hai ya uske sath jise tumne akele parhha hai?“
'Abdullah ibn Sarjis, who had met the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayed Fajr. A man came and prayed two rak'ahs after him. Then the man joined the congregation. When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) finished his prayer, he said to the man, "Which did you consider your prayer: the one you prayed alone or the one you prayed with us?"
عبداللہ بن سارجس رضی اللہ عنہ جو نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے ملے تھے، بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے نماز فجر ادا فرمائی۔ ایک شخص آیا اور آپ کے پیچھے دو رکعتیں پڑھیں۔ پھر وہ شخص جماعت میں شامل ہوگیا۔ جب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنی نماز ختم فرمائی تو آپ نے اس شخص سے فرمایا: تم اپنی کون سی نماز کو اپنی نماز سمجھتے ہو: وہ جو تم نے اکیلے پڑھی یا وہ جو تم نے ہمارے ساتھ پڑھی؟
Abdullah bin Sarjas RA jo Nabi Kareem SAW se mile thay, bayan karte hain ke Rasul Allah SAW ne namaz fajr ada farmae. Ek shakhs aaya aur aap ke peeche do rakaten parhin. Phir woh shakhs jamaat mein shamil hogaya. Jab Rasul Allah SAW ne apni namaz khatam farmae to aap ne uss shakhs se farmaya: Tum apni kon si namaz ko apni namaz samjhte ho: Woh jo tum ne akele parhi ya woh jo tum ne humare saath parhi?
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "When the prayer is established, then there is no prayer except the prescribed prayer."
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "جب نماز قائم ہو جائے تو پھر کوئی نماز نہیں سوائے فرض نماز کے"۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Jab Namaz qaim ho jaye to phir koi Namaz nahi siwaye farz Namaz ke".
Anas ibn Malik reported that Abu Bakr entered the mosque while the Prophet ﷺ was praying. He then prayed and then walked until he joined the row. The Prophet ﷺ said to him, "May Allah increase you in eagerness, but do not do it again."
حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ حضرت ابوبکر صدیق مسجد میں داخل ہوئے تو نبی کریم ﷺ نماز پڑھ رہے تھے، انہوں نے نماز شروع کردی، پھر چلتے چلتے صف میں شامل ہو گئے۔ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ان سے فرمایا اللہ آپ کی رغبت میں اضافہ فرمائے لیکن آپ دوبارہ ایسا نہ کرنا۔
Hazrat Anas bin Malik Radi Allaho Anho se riwayat hai ki Hazrat Abu Bakar Siddique masjid mein dakhil hue to Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam namaz parh rahe thay, unhon ne namaz shuru kardi, phir chalte chalte saf mein shamil ho gaye. Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne un se farmaya Allah aap ki ragbat mein izafa farmaye lekin aap dobara aisa na karna.
Abu Bakr narrated that he entered the mosque while the Prophet ﷺ was praying. He said: So I prayed behind the row, whereupon Allah's Messenger ﷺ said, "May Allah increase your enthusiasm (for prayer) and do not do it again.”
ابو بکر نے بیان کیا کہ میں مسجد میں داخل ہوا جبکہ نبی ﷺ نماز پڑھ رہے تھے۔ کہا: تو میں نے قطار کے پیچھے نماز پڑھی، جس پر اللہ کے رسول ﷺ نے فرمایا، "اللہ آپ کے شوق (نماز کے لیے) میں اضافہ فرمائے اور دوبارہ ایسا نہ کرنا۔”
Abu Bakr ne bayan kya keh mein masjid mein dakhil hua jabkeh Nabi namaz parh rahe thay. Kaha: to mein ne qitar ke peeche namaz parhi, jis par Allah ke Rasool ne farmaya, "Allah aap ke shauq (namaz ke liye) mein izafa farmaye aur dobara aisa na karna.”
Ibn Abbas said, "The Prophet ﷺ led us in prayer, and I stood on his left. He took me by the head and placed me on his right."
ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہمیں نماز پڑھائی تو میں آپ کے بائیں جانب کھڑا ہو گیا، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے میرا ہاتھ پکڑ کر مجھے اپنے دائیں جانب کھڑا کر لیا۔
Ibn Abbas Radi Allaho Anhuma kehte hain ke Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne humain namaz parhaee to main aap ke baen janib khara ho gaya, aap Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne mera haath pakar kar mujhe apne daen janib khara kar liya.
Jabir ibn Abdullah said:
We were travelling with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and when it was evening and we approached the watering place of the Arabs, the Messenger of Allah said, “Which of you will go ahead and bring back the bucket so he may drink and give us to drink?” Jabir said, “So I stood up and said, ‘Here is a man, O Messenger of Allah.’” The Messenger of Allah said, “Which man is with Jabir?” Jabbar ibn Sakhr stood up, and we went ahead to the well and drew one or two buckets full. Then we emptied it and drew more until it was easy for us to draw. The first to come upon us was the Messenger of Allah. He said, “Do you give me permission?” We said, “Yes, O Messenger of Allah.” He made his camel kneel and it drank, then he pulled up the bucket for it until it had its fill, then he moved it away and hobbled it. Then the Messenger of Allah came to the bucket and performed ablution from it, then I stood up and performed ablution from the remnants of the Messenger of Allah’s ablution. Jabbar ibn Sakhr had gone off to relieve himself, and the Messenger of Allah stood up to pray. I was wearing a cloak and I had passed it under one arm, but it did not cover me properly, and it had tassels, so I tucked them in. Then I passed it under my other arm and came and stood on the left of the Messenger of Allah. He took my hand and moved me until he placed me on his right. Then Jabbar ibn Sakhr came and performed ablution, then he came and stood on the left of the Messenger of Allah. He took hold of both our hands and pushed us until he placed us behind him. Then the Messenger of Allah kept looking at me and I did not realize it. I sneezed, and when the Messenger of Allah had finished praying he said, “O Jabir!” I said, “At your service, O Messenger of Allah.” He said, “If your garment is loose, then pass it under one arm, and if it is tight then wrap it around your waist.”
جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں:
ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ سفر میں تھے، شام ہو گئی اور ہم عرب کے ایک پانی والے مقام پر پہنچے تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”تم میں سے کون ہے جو آگے بڑھ کر ڈول لے آئے تاکہ وہ خود بھی پانی پی لے اور ہمیں بھی پلائے؟“ جابر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں: ”میں کھڑا ہوا اور عرض کیا: ”میں حاضر ہوں، اللہ کے رسول! “ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: جابر کے ساتھ کون شخص ہے؟“ جبار بن صخر رضی اللہ عنہ کھڑے ہو گئے، ہم دونوں کنویں پر گئے اور ایک دو ڈول پانی نکالا، پھر اسے خالی کیا اور مزید نکالتے رہے یہاں تک کہ ہمارے لیے ڈول نکالنا آسان ہو گیا۔ سب سے پہلے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہمارے پاس تشریف لائے۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”کیا تم مجھے اجازت دیتے ہو؟“ ہم نے عرض کیا: ”جی ہاں، اللہ کے رسول!“ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنی اونٹنی کو گھٹنوں کے بل بٹھایا، وہ پانی پینے لگی، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس کے لیے ڈول اوپر اٹھائے رکھا یہاں تک کہ وہ خوب سیر ہو گئی، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اسے وہاں سے ہٹایا اور اسے ہانکا۔ پھر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ڈول کے پاس آئے اور اس سے وضو کیا، پھر میں کھڑا ہوا اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے وضو کے بچے ہوئے پانی سے وضو کیا۔ جبار بن صخر رضی اللہ عنہ رفع حاجت کے لیے کہیں چلے گئے تھے، اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نماز پڑھنے کے لیے کھڑے ہو گئے۔ میں نے ایک چادر اوڑھی ہوئی تھی، میں نے اسے اپنے ایک بازو کے نیچے سے گزار رکھا تھا، لیکن وہ مجھے اچھی طرح سے ڈھانپ نہیں رہی تھی، اور اس میں کونے تھے، تو میں نے ان کونوں کو اندر کر لیا۔ پھر میں نے اسے اپنے دوسرے بازو کے نیچے سے گزارا اور آکر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے بائیں جانب کھڑا ہو گیا۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے میرا ہاتھ پکڑا اور مجھے اپنی دائیں جانب کر لیا۔ پھر جبار بن صخر رضی اللہ عنہ آئے اور وضو کیا، پھر وہ آکر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے بائیں جانب کھڑے ہو گئے۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہمارے دونوں کے ہاتھ پکڑے اور ہمیں پیچھے دھکیل دیا یہاں تک کہ ہمیں اپنے پیچھے کر لیا۔ پھر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم مجھے دیکھتے رہے اور مجھے اس کا احساس نہیں ہوا۔ میں نے چھینک لی، جب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نماز سے فارغ ہوئے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”اے جابر!“ میں نے عرض کیا: ”لبیک، اللہ کے رسول!“ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جب تمہارا لباس ڈھیلا ہو تو اسے ایک بازو کے نیچے سے گزار لو، اور اگر تنگ ہو تو اسے اپنی کمر کے گرد لپیٹ لو۔“
Jabir bin Abdullah Radi Allahu Anhuma kehte hain:
Hum Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke sath safar mein thay, sham ho gai aur hum Arab ke ek pani walay maqam par pahunche to Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Tum mein se kaun hai jo aage badh kar dol le aaye taake woh khud bhi pani pee le aur humain bhi pilaye?" Jabir Radi Allahu Anhu kehte hain: "Main khara huwa aur arz kiya: "Main haazir hun, Allah ke Rasul! " Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: Jabir ke sath kaun shakhs hai?" Jabbar bin Sakhr Radi Allahu Anhu khare ho gaye, hum dono kuen par gaye aur ek do dol pani nikala, phir usay khali kiya aur mazeed nikalte rahe yahan tak ke humare liye dol nikalna asaan ho gaya. Sab se pehle Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam humare pass tashreef laaye. Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Kya tum mujhe ijazat dete ho?" Hum ne arz kiya: "Jee haan, Allah ke Rasul!" Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne apni untni ko ghutnon ke bal bithaya, woh pani pine lagi, phir Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne uske liye dol upar uthaye rakha yahan tak ke woh khoob ser ho gai, phir Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne usay wahan se hataya aur usay hanka. Phir Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam dol ke pass aaye aur us se wuzu kiya, phir main khara huwa aur Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke wuzu ke bache huye pani se wuzu kiya. Jabbar bin Sakhr Radi Allahu Anhu rafa hajat ke liye kahin chale gaye thay, aur Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam namaz parhne ke liye khare ho gaye. Maine ek chadar odhi hui thi, maine usay apne ek bazu ke neeche se guzaar rakha tha, lekin woh mujhe achhi tarah se dhaanp nahin rahi thi, aur us mein kone thay, to maine un konon ko andar kar liya. Phir maine usay apne dusre bazu ke neeche se guzara aur aakar Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke bayen janib khara ho gaya. Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne mera hath pakra aur mujhe apni dayen janib kar liya. Phir Jabbar bin Sakhr Radi Allahu Anhu aaye aur wuzu kiya, phir woh aakar Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke bayen janib khare ho gaye. Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne humare donon ke hath pakre aur humain peeche dhakil diya yahan tak ke humain apne peeche kar liya. Phir Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam mujhe dekhte rahe aur mujhe iska ehsaas nahin huwa. Maine chheenk li, jab Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam namaz se farigh huye to Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Aye Jabir!" Maine arz kiya: "Labbaik, Allah ke Rasul!" Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Jab tumhara libas dheela ho to usay ek bazu ke neeche se guzaar lo, aur agar tang ho to usay apni kamar ke gird lapet lo."
Wabisah ibn Ma'bad reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saw a man praying alone behind the rows, so the Prophet (ﷺ) ordered him to repeat the prayer.
حضرت وَبِصَہ بن مَعْبَد رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک شخص کو صفوں کے پیچھے اکیلا نماز پڑھتے ہوئے دیکھا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اسے نماز دہرانے کا حکم دیا ۔
Hazrat Wabisa bin Ma'bad razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne ek shakhs ko saffon ke peeche akela namaz parhte huye dekha to aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne use namaz dohrane ka hukum diya
Wabisah ibn Ma’bad reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, saw a man praying alone behind the row, so he commanded him to repeat the prayer.
حضرت وبصہ بن معبد رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک شخص کو دیکھا کہ وہ صف سے پیچھے اکیلا نماز پڑھ رہا تھا تو آپ نے اسے حکم دیا کہ وہ نماز دہرائے۔
Hazrat Wabsa bin Ma'bad razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne ek shakhs ko dekha ki woh saf se peeche akela namaz parh raha tha to aap ne use hukm diya ki woh namaz dohraye.
Hilal b. Yasaf said: A man prayed behind the Prophet (ﷺ) alone, not joining anyone, so he ordered him to repeat the prayer.
ہلال بن یساف نے کہا کہ ایک شخص نے نبی اکرم ﷺ کے پیچھے اکیلے نماز پڑھی اور کسی کے ساتھ شامل نہ ہوا تو آپ ﷺ نے اسے نماز دہرانے کا حکم دیا۔
Hilal bin Yasaf ne kaha ki ek shakhs ne Nabi Akram SAW ke peeche akela namaz parha aur kisi ke sath shamil na hua to aap SAW ne use namaz dohraane ka hukum diya.
Wabisah ibn Ma’bad narrated that the Prophet ﷺ ordered a man to repeat his prayer because he had prayed alone behind the row.
وَابِصَۃَ بْنَ مُعَبِّدٍ رَضِیَ اللہُ عَنْہُ سے رِوَایَۃ ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ایک شخص کو صف کے پیچھے اکیلے نماز پڑھنے کی وجہ سے دوبارہ نماز پڑھنے کا حکم دیا۔
Wabisa bin Ma'bad Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne ek shakhs ko saf ke peechhe akela namaz padhne ki wajah se dobara namaz padhne ka hukm diya.
