Abu Hurairah RA narrated that the Messenger of Allah PBUH said: “Verily, Allah does not look at your faces and your wealth, but He looks at your hearts and your deeds." (Sahih Muslim)

ابوہریرہ ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ یقیناً اللہ تمہاری صورتوں اور اموال کو نہیں دیکھتا ، بلکہ وہ تمہارے دلوں اور اعمال کو دیکھتا ہے ۔‘‘ رواہ مسلم ۔
Abu Hurairah bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah ne farmaya: Yaqinan Allah tumhari suratoun aur amwal ko nahin dekhta, balkeh woh tumhare dilon aur amal ko dekhta hai. Riwayat Muslim.
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Allah the Almighty said: 'I am the most independent of all partners. Whoever performs a deed in which he associates anyone else with Me besides Me, I will leave him with his polytheism.'" In another narration: "'I am disgusted with him, and that (deed) is for the one for whom he did it.'" (Sahih Muslim)

ابوہریرہ ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتا ہے : میں (دوسرے) تمام شریکوں کے مقابلے میں شرک سے سب سے زیادہ بے نیاز ہوں ، جو کوئی ایسا عمل کرے جس میں وہ میرے ساتھ میرے علاوہ کسی اور کو بھی شریک کرے تو میں اس کو اس کے شرک سمیت چھوڑ دیتا ہوں ۔‘‘\n ایک اور روایت میں ہے :’’ میں اس (عمل کرنے والے) سے بیزار ہوں ، وہ (عمل) اسی کے لیے ہے جس کے لیے اس نے کیا ہے ۔‘‘ رواہ مسلم ۔\n
Abu Hurairah bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah ne farmaya: ''Allah Ta'ala farmata hai: Main (dusre) tamam sharikon ke muqable mein shirk se sab se zyada bay niyaz hun, jo koi aisa amal kare jis mein wo mere sath mere ilawa kisi aur ko bhi sharik kare to main usko uske shirk samet chhor deta hun.'' Ek aur riwayat mein hai: ''Main us (amal karne wale) se bayzaar hun, wo (amal) usi ke liye hai jis ke liye usne kiya hai.'' Riwayat Muslim.
Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever does a deed to show off, Allah will expose his show-off (on the Day of Resurrection) and whoever does a deed to make a display of it, Allah will make a display of him (i.e., expose his hypocrisy).” — Agreed upon.

جندب ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ جو شخص شہرت کی خاطر کوئی عمل کرتا ہے تو (روز قیامت) اللہ اس شخص کو (لوگوں کے سامنے) ذلیل فرمائے گا (کہ اس نے اس نیت سے عمل کیا تھا) اور جو دکھلاوا کرتا ہے تو اللہ اسے (لوگوں کو) دکھلا دے گا (کہ یہ شخص ریا کار ہے) ۔‘‘ متفق علیہ ۔
Jundab bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah ne farmaya: "Jo shakhs shohrat ki khatir koi amal karta hai to (roz qayamat) Allah us shakhs ko (logon ke samne) zalil farmaye ga (ke usne is niyat se amal kiya tha) aur jo dikhawa karta hai to Allah use (logon ko) dikha de ga (ke yeh shakhs riyakar hai)." Muttafiq alaih.
Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked, "Tell us, a man does a good deed and the people praise him for it." In another narration, "The people like him for it." (What is the ruling on this?) He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This is an early glad tiding for the believer." [Sahih Muslim]

ابوذر ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ سے عرض کیا گیا ، آپ بتائیں ، ایک آدمی نیکی کا کام کرتا ہے ، اس پر لوگ اس کی تعریف کرتے ہیں ، ایک دوسری روایت میں ہے ، اس پر لوگ اسے پسند کرتے ہیں ، (اس کا کیا حکم ہے ؟) آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ یہ مومن کے لیے پیشگی بشارت ہے ۔‘‘ رواہ مسلم ۔
Abuzar bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah se arz kya gaya, aap bataein, ek aadmi neki ka kaam karta hai, us par log us ki tareef karte hain, ek dusri riwayat mein hai, us par log use pasand karte hain, (us ka kya hukm hai?) Aap ne farmaya: "Yeh momin ke liye peshgi basharat hai." Riwayat Muslim.
Abu Sa'id bin Abi Fadalah (RA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "When Allah gathers the people on the Day of Resurrection, in which there is no doubt, a caller will announce: 'Whoever took a partner in any deed, which he did solely for Allah, then he should seek his reward from someone other than Allah, for Allah is most Free of need from all partners." (Hasan, narrated by Ahmad)

ابوسعید بن ابی فضالہ ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ جب اللہ لوگوں کو روز قیامت ، جس میں کوئی شک نہیں ، (حساب کے لیے) جمع فرمائے گا تو ایک اعلان کرنے والا اعلان کرے گا : جس نے کسی ایسے عمل میں ، جسے اس نے اکیلے اللہ کے لیے کیا تھا ، شریک بنایا تو وہ اپنا ثواب ، اللہ کے علاوہ کسی اور سے طلب کرے ، کیونکہ اللہ (دوسرے) تمام شریکوں کے مقابلے میں شرک سے سب سے زیادہ بے نیاز ہے ۔‘‘ حسن ، رواہ احمد ۔
Abu Saeed bin Abi Fazala بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ نے فرمایا : جب اللہ لوگوں کو روز قیامت ، جس میں کوئی شک نہیں ، (حساب کے لیے) جمع فرمائے گا تو ایک اعلان کرنے والا اعلان کرے گا : جس نے کسی ایسے عمل میں ، جسے اس نے اکیلے اللہ کے لیے کیا تھا ، شریک بنایا تو وہ اپنا ثواب ، اللہ کے علاوہ کسی اور سے طلب کرے ، کیونکہ اللہ (دوسرے) تمام شریکوں کے مقابلے میں شرک سے سب سے زیادہ بے نیاز ہے ۔ حسن ، رواہ احمد ۔
It is narrated on the authority of Abdullah bin Amr (RA) that he heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying: "Whoever informs people about his deeds, Allah will inform His creation about him through their ears and will disgrace him." (Sahih, narrated by al-Bayhaqi in Shu'ab al-Iman)

عبداللہ بن عمرو ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ انہوں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا :’’ جو شخص اپنے عمل کے متعلق لوگوں کو سناتا ہے تو اللہ اس کے متعلق اپنی مخلوق کے کانوں تک سنا دیتا ہے اور وہ اسے حقیر و ذلیل کر دیتا ہے ۔‘‘ صحیح ، رواہ البیھقی فی شعب الایمان ۔
Abdullah bin Amr RA se riwayat hai ke unhon ne Rasool Allah SAW ko farmate huye suna: ''Jo shaks apne amal ke mutalliq logon ko sunata hai to Allah uske mutalliq apni makhlooq ke kaanon tak suna deta hai aur woh use haqir o zalil kar deta hai.'' Sahih, Riwayat al-Bayhaqi fi Shuab al-Iman.
It is narrated on the authority of Anas that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever's intention is the Hereafter, Allah will make his heart content and independent, and will gather his affairs for him, and the world will come to him, humiliated. And whoever's intention is the world, Allah will put poverty between his eyes, and will scatter his affairs, and he will not get from the world except what has been decreed for him." The chain of narration is weak. Narrated by Tirmidhi.

انس ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ جس شخص کی نیت طلب آخرت ہو تو اللہ اس کے دل کو غنی کر دیتا ہے ، اور اس کے معاملے کو مجتمع فرما دیتا ہے اور دنیا ذلیل ہو کر اس کے پاس چلی آتی ہے ، اور جس شخص کی نیت طلب دنیا ہو تو اللہ اس کی پیشانی پر فقر ثبت فرما دیتا ہے ، اس کے معاملے کو منتشر کر دیتا ہے اور دنیا اسے اتنی ہی ملتی ہے جتنی اللہ نے اس کے لیے لکھ دی ہے ۔‘‘ سندہ ضعیف ، رواہ الترمذی ۔
Anas RA se riwayat hai keh Nabi SAW ne farmaya: Jis shakhs ki niyat talab akhirat ho to Allah us ke dil ko ghani kar deta hai, aur us ke mamle ko mujtama farma deta hai aur duniya zalil ho kar us ke pass chali aati hai, aur jis shakhs ki niyat talab duniya ho to Allah us ki peshani par faqr sabit farma deta hai, us ke mamle ko muntashir kar deta hai aur duniya use utni hi milti hai jitni Allah ne us ke liye likh di hai. Sanad zaeef, riwayat Tirmizi.
Abu Hurairah narrated, “I said, ‘O Messenger of Allah! While I am in my house on my prayer mat, suddenly a man comes to me and he seems to like the state in which he sees me (is this also showing off?)’ The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, ‘O Abu Hurairah! May Allah have mercy on you, you will have a double reward, the reward for the hidden and the reward for the apparent.’” (Tirmidhi, and he said: “This hadith is gharib.” Its chain of narration is weak. Narrated by Tirmidhi).

ابوہریرہ ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، میں نے عرض کیا ، اللہ کے رسول ! اس اثنا میں کہ میں اپنے گھر میں اپنی جائے نماز پر ہوتا ہوں تو اچانک ایک آدمی میرے پاس آتا ہے مجھے وہ اپنی حالت اچھی لگتی ہے جس میں وہ مجھے دیکھتا ہے ، (کیا یہ بھی ریا کاری ہے ؟) رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ ابوہریرہ ! اللہ تم پر رحم فرمائے ، تمہارے لیے دگنا اجر ہے ، پوشیدہ کا اجر اور ظاہر کا اجر ۔‘‘ ترمذی ، اور انہوں نے فرمایا : یہ حدیث غریب ہے ۔ اسنادہ ضعیف ، رواہ الترمذی ۔
Abu Hurairah bayan karte hain, main ne arz kiya, Allah ke Rasool! Is asna mein ke mein apne ghar mein apni jaye namaz par hota hun to achanak ek aadmi mere pass aata hai mujhe wo apni halat achi lagti hai jis mein wo mujhe dekhta hai, (kya yah bhi riya kari hai?) Rasool Allah ne farmaya: “Abu Hurairah! Allah tum par reham farmaye, tumhare liye dugna ajr hai, poshida ka ajr aur zahir ka ajr.” Tirmizi, aur unhon ne farmaya: Yah hadees ghareeb hai. Isnaad-e-zaeef, riwayat al-Tirmizi.
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There will appear in the latter part of my Ummah people who will seek the world through their religion. They will wear sheepskins, showing gentleness to the people, their tongues sweeter than sugar, but their hearts will be like the hearts of wolves. Allah says, 'Are they deceiving Me, or are they bold against Me?' I swear by Allah that I shall certainly send upon them (Muslims) such a trial in which the patient will slip.

ابوہریرہ ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ آخری زمانے میں کچھ ایسے لوگ ظاہر ہوں گے جو دین کے بدلے میں دنیا طلب کریں گے ، وہ لوگوں کو خوش کرنے کے لیے بکری کی کھال پہنیں گے ، ان کی زبانیں (یعنی گفتگو) چینی سے زیادہ میٹھی ہو گی ، اور ان کے دل بھیڑیوں کے دلوں جیسے ہوں گے ، اللہ فرماتا ہے ، وہ دھوکے میں مبتلا ہیں (کہ میں انہیں مہلت دے رہا ہوں) یا وہ میرے خلاف جرأت کرتے ہیں ، میں اپنی قسم اٹھاتا ہوں کہ میں ایسے لوگوں پر انہی میں سے ایک فتنہ برپا کروں گا کہ وہ ان کے حلیم و بردبار شخص کو بھی حیران چھوڑ دے گا ۔‘‘ اسنادہ ضعیف جذا ، رواہ الترمذی ۔
Abu Huraira بیان کرتے ہیں، رسول اللہ نے فرمایا: '' آخری زمانے میں کچھ ایسے لوگ ظاہر ہوں گے جو دین کے بدلے میں دنیا طلب کریں گے، وہ لوگوں کو خوش کرنے کے لیے بکری کی کھال پہنیں گے، ان کی زبانیں (یعنی گفتگو) چینی سے زیادہ میٹھی ہو گی، اور ان کے دل بھیڑیوں کے دلوں جیسے ہوں گے، اللہ فرماتا ہے، وہ دھوکے میں مبتلا ہیں (کہ میں انہیں مہلت دے رہا ہوں) یا وہ میرے خلاف جرات کرتے ہیں، میں اپنی قسم اٹھاتا ہوں کہ میں ایسے لوگوں پر انہی میں سے ایک فتنہ برپا کروں گا کہ وہ ان کے حلیم و بردبار شخص کو بھی حیران چھوڑ دے گا ۔'' اسنادہ ضعیف جدا، رواہ الترمذی ۔
Ibn Umar narrated from the Prophet ﷺ, he ﷺ said: "Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, said: 'I have created a creation whose tongues are sweeter than sugar and whose hearts are more bitter than aloe vera. By Myself, I swear! I will test them with a trial that will amaze even their most forbearing (wise and patient) person. Have they been deceived about Me or are they daring against Me?'" Tirmidhi, and he said: This hadith is gharib (strange). Its chain of narration is weak, narrated by Tirmidhi.

ابن عمر ؓ نبی ﷺ سے روایت کرتے ہیں ، آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ اللہ تبارک و تعالیٰ نے فرمایا :’’ میں نے ایک ایسی مخلوق پیدا کی ہے کہ ان کی زبانیں چینی سے زیادہ شیریں اور ان کے دل ایلوے سے زیادہ کڑوے ہیں ، میں اپنی ذات کی قسم اٹھاتا ہوں ! میں انہیں ایک فتنے میں مبتلا کروں گا کہ وہ ان کے حلیم (عقل مند و بردبار) شخص کو بھی حیران چھوڑ دے گا ، کیا وہ میری وجہ سے دھوکے میں مبتلا ہوئے ہیں یا میرے خلاف جرأت کرتے ہیں ؟‘‘ ترمذی ، اور فرمایا : یہ حدیث غریب ہے ۔ اسنادہ ضعیف ، رواہ الترمذی ۔
Ibn Umar RA Nabi SAW se riwayat karte hain, Aap SAW ne farmaya: “Allah tabarak wa ta’ala ne farmaya: ‘Maine ek aisi makhlooq paida ki hai ke un ki zubaanein cheeni se zyada sheerin aur un ke dil aloe se zyada karwe hain, main apni zaat ki qasam uthata hun! Main unhen ek fitne mein mubtala karun ga ke woh un ke halim (aqal mand o burdbar) shakhs ko bhi hairan chhor de ga, kya woh meri wajah se dhokhe mein mubtala hue hain ya mere khilaf jurrat karte hain?’” Tirmizi, aur farmaya: Yeh hadees ghareeb hai. Isnaad-e-zaeef, Rawah al-Tirmizi.
Abu Hurairah RA narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: “Verily, for everything there is a peak of enthusiasm, and for every peak there is a decline. So if one remains moderate and avoids excessiveness, then there is hope for him. But if he becomes a subject of pointing fingers (famous), then do not count him (among the successful).” (Hasan, Jami` at-Tirmidhi)

ابوہریرہ ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ بے شک ہر چیز کے لیے رغبت و نشاط ہوتی ہے اور ہر رغبت و نشاط کے لیے ضعف و سستی بھی ہوتی ہے ، اگر اس رغبت رکھنے والے نے میانہ روی رکھی اور افراط سے احتراز کیا تو اس کی (کامیابی کی) امید رکھو اور اگر اس کی طرف انگلیاں اٹھائی جائیں (اس کی مشہوری ہو جائے) تو اسے شمار نہ کرو ۔‘‘ حسن ، رواہ الترمذی ۔
Abu Hurairah bayan karte hain, Nabi ne farmaya: ''Be shak har cheez ke liye ragbat o nishat hoti hai aur har ragbat o nishat ke liye zaaf o susti bhi hoti hai, agar is ragbat rakhne wale ne myana ravi rakhi aur ifrat se ihtiraaz kiya to is ki (kaamyabi ki) umeed rakho aur agar is ki taraf ungliyan uthai jayen (is ki mashhoori ho jaye) to ise shumaar na karo.'' Hasan, Riwayat Tirmizi.
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “It is evil enough for a man that people point at him with regard to his religion or worldly matters (that he becomes notorious), except for a man whom Allah protects." This chain of narration is weak. It was narrated by al-Bayhaqi in Shu’ab al-Iman.

انس ؓ نبی ﷺ سے روایت کرتے ہیں ، آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ کسی آدمی کے لیے یہی شر کافی ہے کہ اس کے دین یا دنیا کے معاملے میں اس کی طرف انگلیاں اٹھائی جائیں (اس کی شہرت ہو جائے) مگر وہ شخص جسے اللہ محفوظ رکھے ۔‘‘ اسنادہ ضعیف ، رواہ البیھقی فی شعب الایمان ۔
Anas RA Nabi SAW se riwayat karte hain, Aap SAW ne farmaya: “Kisi aadmi ke liye yahi shar kaafi hai ke uske deen ya duniya ke mamle mein us ki taraf ungliyan uthai jayen (us ki shohrat ho jaye) magar woh shakhs jise Allah mahfooz rakhe.” Isnaad-e-zaeef, Rawah al-Bayhaqi fi Shu’ab al-Iman.
Abu Tamima (RA) narrated that he was with Safwan (RA) and his companions while Jundub (RA) was exhorting them. They asked, "Did you hear anything from the Messenger of Allah (PBUH)?" He said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) saying: 'Whoever does a deed to be seen by the people, Allah will expose his intentions on the Day of Resurrection (that he used to do it with this intention) and whoever puts himself into hardship (in worldly affairs), Allah will put him into hardship (in the Hereafter).' " They said, "Advise us." He said, "The first thing to get rotten in a person is his stomach. So, whoever can afford to eat only lawful things, he should do so. And whoever can afford that nothing should prevent him from entering Paradise but a span of blood (unlawfully shed) then he must avoid shedding blood unlawfully.'" (Sahih al-Bukhari)

ابوتمیمہ ؒ بیان کرتے ہیں ، میں صفوان ؒ اور ان کے ساتھیوں کے پاس موجود تھا اور جندب ؓ انہیں وعظ و نصیحت فرما رہے تھے ، انہوں نے پوچھا : کیا آپ نے رسول اللہ ﷺ سے کچھ سنا ہے ؟ انہوں نے کہا : میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا :’’ جو شخص شہرت کی خاطر کوئی عمل کرتا ہے تو روز قیامت اللہ اس کو رسوا کرے گا (کہ یہ اس نیت سے عمل کرتا تھا) اور جو اپنی جان کو مشقت میں ڈالتا ہے تو اللہ روز قیامت اسے مشقت میں مبتلا کر دے گا ۔‘‘ انہوں نے کہا : ہمیں وصیت فرمائیں : انہوں نے فرمایا : انسان کے جسم سے اس کا پیٹ سب سے پہلے خراب ہوتا ہے ، لہذا جو شخص استطاعت رکھتا ہو کہ وہ صرف حلال ہی کھائے گا تو اسے ایسے ہی کرنا چاہیے ، اور جو شخص استطاعت رکھے کہ اس کے اور جنت کے درمیان ایک چلو خون ، جو اس نے ناجائز بہایا ہو وہ حائل نہ ہو تو وہ ضرور ناجائز خون بہانے سے بچے ۔ رواہ البخاری ۔
AbuTumaima RA bayan karte hain, main Safwan RA aur un ke sathiyon ke paas mojood tha aur Jundub RA unhen waz o nasihat farma rahe the, unhon ne poocha: kya aap ne Rasul Allah SAW se kuchh suna hai? Unhon ne kaha: maine Rasul Allah SAW ko farmate hue suna: ''Jo shakhs shohrat ki khatir koi amal karta hai to roz qayamat Allah usko ruswa kare ga (keh ye is niyat se amal karta tha) aur jo apni jaan ko mushqat mein dalta hai to Allah roz qayamat use mushqat mein mubtala kar de ga.'' Unhon ne kaha: hamen wasiyat farmaen: unhon ne farmaya: Insan ke jism se is ka pet sab se pehle kharab hota hai, lihaza jo shakhs istataat rakhta ho keh wo sirf halal hi khae ga to use aise hi karna chahie, aur jo shakhs istataat rakhe keh us ke aur jannat ke darmiyan ek chulu khoon, jo us ne najayaz bahaya ho wo hail na ho to wo zaroor najayaz khoon bahane se bache. Riwayat Bukhari.
It is narrated on the authority of Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) that one day he came to the mosque of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and saw Muadh ibn Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) crying near the grave of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He asked him: “What is making you cry?” He said: “What is making me cry is something that I heard from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: ‘Even a small amount of showing off is shirk, and whoever shows enmity to a friend of mine has come out to fight against Allah in the battlefield. Verily, Allah loves righteous, God-fearing, and unknown people, who are not sought after when they are absent, and who are not invited or approached when they are present. Their hearts are lamps of guidance, free from every type of dust.’” (They do not fall prey to any temptation).

عمر بن خطاب ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ وہ ایک روز رسول اللہ ﷺ کی مسجد کی طرف آئے تو انہوں نے معاذ بن جبل ؓ کو نبی ﷺ کی قبر کے پاس روتا ہوا دیکھ کر ان سے پوچھا : تمہیں کون سی چیز رلا رہی ہے ؟ انہوں نے فرمایا : مجھے وہ چیز رلا رہی ہے جو میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ سے سنی تھی ، میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا :’’ معمولی سی ریا کاری بھی شرک ہے ، اور جس شخص نے میرے کسی دوست سے دشمنی رکھی تو وہ شخص اللہ کے ساتھ جنگ کرنے کے لیے میدان میں اتر آیا ، بے شک اللہ ایسے نیک ، متقی اور گم نام لوگوں کو پسند کرتا ہے کہ جب وہ غائب ہوں تو انہیں تلاش نہ کیا جاتا ہو اور اگر موجود ہوں تو انہیں مدعو نہیں کیا جاتا اور نہ انہیں قریب کیا جاتا ہے ۔ ان کے دل ہدایت کے چراغ ہیں ، وہ ہر قسم کے گرد و غبار سے دور ہیں ۔‘‘ (کسی فتنے کا شکار نہیں ہوتے) اسنادہ ضعیف جذا ، رواہ ابن ماجہ و البیھقی فی شعب الایمان ۔
Umar bin Khattab RA se riwayat hai ki woh aik roz Rasul Allah SAW ki masjid ki taraf aye to unhon ne Muaz bin Jabal RA ko Nabi SAW ki qabar ke pass rota hua dekh kar un se pucha: Tumhen kon si cheez rula rahi hai? Unhon ne farmaya: Mujhe woh cheez rula rahi hai jo maine Rasul Allah SAW se suni thi, maine Rasul Allah SAW ko farmate huye suna: ''Mamuli si riyakari bhi shirk hai, aur jis shakhs ne mere kisi dost se dushmani rakhi to woh shakhs Allah ke sath jang karne ke liye maidan mein utar aaya, be shak Allah aise nek, muttaqi aur gumnam logon ko pasand karta hai ki jab woh ghaib hon to unhen talaash na kiya jata ho aur agar mojood hon to unhen mad'u nahin kiya jata aur na unhen qareeb kiya jata hai. Un ke dil hidayat ke charagh hain, woh har qisam ke gard o ghubar se door hain.'' (Kisi fitne ka shikar nahin hote) Isnadah zaeef jada, riwayat Ibn Majah wa al-Bayhaqi fi Shu'ab al-Iman.
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Verily, when a person offers prayer openly, he performs it well, and when he offers prayer in private, he also performs it well. Allah, the Exalted, says: 'This is My sincere slave.'"

ابوہریرہ ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ بے شک بندہ جب علانیہ نماز پڑھتا ہے تو اچھے طریقے سے پڑھتا ہے اور تنہائی میں نماز پڑھتا ہے تو بھی اچھے طریقے سے پڑھتا ہے ، اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتا ہے : یہ میرا بندہ مخلص ہے ۔‘‘ اسنادہ ضعیف ، رواہ ابن ماجہ ۔
Abu Hurairah RA bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah SAW ne farmaya: ''Be shak banda jab alania namaz parhta hai to achhe tareeqe se parhta hai aur tanhai mein namaz parhta hai to bhi achhe tareeqe se parhta hai, Allah Ta'ala farmata hai: Yeh mera banda mukhlis hai.'' Isnaadahu zaeef, Rawahu Ibn Majah.
It is narrated from Mu'adh ibn Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "In the last era, there will be some people who will be friends outwardly but enemies inwardly." It was asked: "O Messenger of Allah! How will this be?" He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "This will be due to their desire (i.e., benefit) from each other and their fear (i.e., harm) from each other."

معاذ بن جبل ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ آخری دور میں کچھ ایسے لوگ ہوں گے کہ وہ ظاہری طور پر دوست ہوں گے جبکہ باطنی طور پر دشمن ہوں گے ۔‘‘ عرض کیا گیا : اللہ کے رسول ! یہ کس طرح ہو گا ؟ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ یہ ایک دوسرے سے رغبت (یعنی مفاد) اور ایک دوسرے سے خوف (یعنی نقصان) کے پیش نظر ہو گا ۔‘‘ اسنادہ ضعیف ، رواہ احمد ۔
Muaz bin Jabal (RA) se riwayat hai ki Nabi (SAWW) ne farmaya: ''Aakhri daur mein kuch aise log honge keh woh zahiri طور par dost honge jabke batni طور par dushman honge.'' Arz kiya gaya: Allah ke Rasul! Yeh kis tarah hoga? Aap (SAWW) ne farmaya: ''Yeh ek dusre se ragbat (yani mufad) aur ek dusre se khauf (yani nuqsan) ke pesh-e-nazar hoga.'' Isnaad-e-zaeef, Rawah Ahmad.
Shaddad bin Aws (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying, "He who observes prayer so that he may be seen (praising for it) has committed Shirk; and he who observes fast so that he may be seen (praising for it) has committed Shirk; and he who gives alms so that he may be seen (praising for it) has committed Shirk." Both hadiths were narrated by Imam Ahmad. Its chain of narration is Hasan (Good). Narrated by Ahmad.

شداد بن اوس ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا :’’ جو شخص دکھلاوے کی خاطر نماز پڑھتا ہے تو اس نے شرک کیا ، جو شخص دکھلاوے کی خاطر روزہ رکھتا ہے تو اس نے شرک کیا ، اور جو شخص دکھلاوے کی خاطر صدقہ کرتا ہے تو اس نے شرک کیا ۔‘‘ دونوں احادیث کو امام احمد نے روایت کیا ہے ۔ اسنادہ حسن ، رواہ احمد ۔
Shadad bin Aus riwayat karte hain, main ne Rasul Allah ko farmate hue suna: ''Jo shakhs dikhawe ki khatir namaz parhta hai to us ne shirk kiya, jo shakhs dikhawe ki khatir roza rakhta hai to us ne shirk kiya, aur jo shakhs dikhawe ki khatir sadqa karta hai to us ne shirk kiya.'' Donon ahadees ko Imam Ahmad ne riwayat kiya hai. Isnaadahu hasan, Rawahu Ahmad.
It is narrated on the authority of Shaddad bin Aus (may Allah be pleased with him) that he began to cry. He was asked, "What is making you cry?" He said, "Something that I heard from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), I remembered it and it made me cry. I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say, 'I fear for my Ummah from shirk and hidden desires.'" The narrator said, "I said, 'O Messenger of Allah! Will your Ummah commit shirk after you?' He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, 'Yes, but they will not worship the sun or the moon, nor will they worship stones and idols, but they will show off their deeds. And the hidden desire is that one of them will wake up fasting, but then one of his desires will come to him and he will break his fast.'" (Weak, narrated by al-Bayhaqi in Shu'ab al-Iman)

شداد بن اوس ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ وہ رونے لگے ، ان سے پوچھا گیا ، تمہیں کون سی چیز رلا رہی ہے ؟ انہوں نے کہا : وہ چیز جو میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کی زبانی سنی ، میں نے اسے یاد کیا تو اس نے مجھے رلا دیا ، میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا :’’ مجھے اپنی امت کے بارے میں شرک اور مخفی خواہش کا اندیشہ ہے ۔‘‘ راوی بیان کرتا ہے ، میں نے عرض کیا ، اللہ کے رسول ! کیا آپ کے بعد آپ کی امت شرک کرے گی ؟ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ ہاں ، البتہ وہ سورج کی چاند کی پوجا نہیں کریں گے اور نہ ہی پتھر و صنم کی ، بلکہ وہ اپنے اعمال کا دکھلاوا کریں گے ، اور مخفی خواہش یہ ہے کہ ان میں سے کوئی روزے کی حالت میں صبح کرے گا ، لیکن اس کی خواہشات میں سے کوئی خواہش اس کے سامنے آ جائے گی تو وہ اپنا روزہ توڑ دے گا ۔‘‘ ضعیف ، رواہ البیھقی فی شعب الایمان ۔
Shadad bin Aus RA se riwayat hai ki woh rone lage, un se poocha gaya, tumhein kon si cheez rula rahi hai? Unhon ne kaha: Woh cheez jo maine Rasulullah SAW ki zabaani suni, maine use yaad kiya to usne mujhe rula diya, maine Rasulullah SAW ko farmate hue suna: ''Mujhe apni ummat ke bare mein shirk aur makhfi khwahish ka andesha hai.'' Rawi bayan karta hai, maine arz kiya, Allah ke Rasool! Kya aap ke baad aap ki ummat shirk karegi? Aap SAW ne farmaya: '' Haan, albatta woh sooraj ki chand ki pooja nahi karenge aur na hi pathar o sanam ki, balki woh apne aamaal ka dikhawa karenge, aur makhfi khwahish yeh hai ki un mein se koi rozey ki halat mein subah karega, lekin uski khwahishat mein se koi khwahish uske samne aa jayegi to woh apna roza tod dega.'' Zaeef, Rawahu al-Bayhaqi fi Shu'ab al-Iman.
Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to us while we were talking about the Dajjal (Antichrist). He said, "Shall I not tell you about something that I fear for you even more than the Dajjal?" We said, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah!" He said, "Hidden shirk (polytheism): A man praying and lengthening his prayer when he knows that someone is looking at him." (Sunan Ibn Majah)

ابوسعید خدری ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ ہمارے پاس تشریف لائے تو ہم مسیح دجال کے بارے میں بات چیت کر رہے تھے ، آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ کیا میں تمہیں اس چیز کے متعلق نہ بتاؤں جس کا مجھے ، تمہارے متعلق ، مسیح دجال سے بھی زیادہ اندیشہ ہے ؟‘‘ ہم نے عرض کیا : اللہ کے رسول ! ضرور بتائیں ، آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ شرک خفی ، وہ یہ ہے کہ ایک آدمی نماز پڑھ رہا ہے اور جب وہ دیکھتا ہے کہ کوئی شخص مجھے دیکھ رہا ہے تو وہ (اسے دکھانے کے لیے) اپنی نماز لمبی کر دیتا ہے (آہستہ آہستہ لمبی قراءت کے ساتھ زیادہ وقت لگاتا ہے) ۔‘‘ حسن ، رواہ ابن ماجہ ۔
Abu Saeed Khudri RA bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah SAW hamare pass tashreef laye to hum Masih Dajjal ke bare mein baat cheet kar rahe the, Aap SAW ne farmaya: ''kia main tumhen us cheez ke mutaliq na bataon jis ka mujhe, tumhare mutaliq, Masih Dajjal se bhi ziada andesha hai?'' Hum ne arz kia: Allah ke Rasool! Zaroor bataen, Aap SAW ne farmaya: ''shirk khafi, wo ye hai ke ek aadmi namaz parh raha hai aur jab wo dekhta hai ke koi shakhs mujhe dekh raha hai to wo (use dikhane ke liye) apni namaz lambi kar deta hai (aahistha aahistha lambi qiraat ke sath ziada waqt lagata hai).'' Hasan, Riwayat Ibn Majah.
It was narrated from Mahmud bin Labid that the Prophet ﷺ said: "The thing I fear most for you is minor Shirk." They said, "O Messenger of Allah, what is minor Shirk?" He said: "Showing off."
And Imam Bayhaqi added in Shu'ab al-Iman: "On the Day when Allah will reward the slaves for their deeds, He will say to them (those who showed off): 'Go to those whom you used to show off to in the world, and see if you can find any reward or goodness from them.'"
(Hasan) Ahmad and Bayhaqi narrated it in Shu'ab al-Iman.

محمود بن لبید ؓ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ مجھے تمہارے متعلق شرک اصغر کا سب سے زیادہ اندیشہ ہے ۔‘‘ انہوں نے عرض کیا ، اللہ کے رسول ! شرک اصغر سے کیا مراد ہے ؟ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ ریا کاری ۔‘‘\nاور امام بیہقی نے شعب الایمان میں یہ اضافہ نقل کیا ہے :’’ جس روز اللہ بندوں کو ان کے اعمال کی جزا دے گا تو وہ ان (ریاکاروں) کو فرمائے گا : انہی کی طرف چلے جاؤ جن کو تم دنیا میں (اپنے اعمال) دکھایا کرتے تھے ، دیکھو کیا تم ان کے پاس جزا اور خیر و بھلائی پاتے ہو ؟‘‘ اسنادہ حسن ، رواہ احمد و البیھقی فی شعب الایمان ۔\n
Mahmood bin Labeed RA se riwayat hai keh Nabi SAW ne farmaya: ''Mujhe tumhare mutalliq shirk asghar ka sab se zyada andesha hai.'' Unhon ne arz kya, Allah ke Rasool! Shirk asghar se kya murad hai? Aap SAW ne farmaya: ''Riyakari.'' Aur Imam Bayhaqi ne Shob al iman mein yeh izafa naqal kya hai: ''Jis roz Allah bandon ko un ke aamal ki jaza dega to woh un (riyakaron) ko farmayega: Inhi ki taraf chale jao jin ko tum duniya mein (apne aamal) dikhaya karte the, dekho kya tum un ke paas jaza aur khair o bhalai pate ho?'' Isnadahu hasan, rawah Ahmad wa al Bayhaqi fi Shob al iman.
Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If a man were to do a deed within a rock which has no door or window, it would be exposed to the people, however it may be." (Hasan)
Narrated by al-Bayhaqi in Shu'ab al-Iman.

ابوسعید خدری ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ اگر کوئی آدمی کسی ایسی چٹان میں کوئی عمل کرتا ہے جس کا کوئی دروازہ اور روشن دان نہیں ، تو اس کا یہ عمل جیسا بھی ہو لوگوں پر آشکار ہو جاتا ہے ۔‘‘ اسنادہ حسن ، رواہ البیھقی فی شعب الایمان ۔
Abu Saeed Khudri bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah ne farmaya: ''Agar koi aadmi kisi aisi chataan mein koi amal karta hai jis ka koi darwaza aur roshan daan nahin, to uska ye amal jaisa bhi ho logon par ashkar ho jata hai.'' Isnaadahu hasan, Rawahul Baihaqi fi Shoaibul Imaan.
Uthman bin Affan (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever has a hidden good or bad quality, Allah will make a sign apparent from him by which he will be recognized." This narration is weak (in authenticity). It was narrated by al-Bayhaqi in Shu'ab al-Iman.

عثمان بن عفان ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ جس شخص کی کوئی نیک یا بد خصلت چھپی ہوئی ہو تو اللہ اس سے کوئی علامت ظاہر فرما دے گا جس سے وہ پہچانا جائے گا ۔‘‘ اسنادہ ضعیف جذا ، رواہ البیھقی فی شعب الایمان ۔
Usman bin Affan bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah ne farmaya: Jis shakhs ki koi nek ya bad khaslat chhupi hui ho to Allah us se koi alamat zahir farma de ga jis se wo pehchana jae ga. Isnadah zaeef jada, Rawah al-Bayhaqi fi Shuab al-Iman.
Umar bin Khattab (RA) narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "I fear for every hypocrite in this Ummah, for he speaks with wisdom, but acts unjustly." Imam Bayhaqi narrated the three Hadiths in Shu'ab al-Iman. Hasan, narrated by al-Bayhaqi in Shu'ab al-Iman.

عمر بن خطاب ؓ نبی ﷺ سے روایت کرتے ہیں ، آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ مجھے اس امت کے ہر منافق کا اندیشہ ہے کیونکہ وہ بات حکمت کے ساتھ کرتا ہے جبکہ عملی طور پر ظلم کرتا ہے ۔‘‘ امام بیہقی نے تینوں احادیث شعب الایمان میں روایت کی ہیں ۔ حسن ، رواہ البیھقی فی شعب الایمان ۔
Umar bin Khattab RA Nabi SAW se riwayat karte hain, aap SAW ne farmaya: “mujhe is ummat ke har munafiq ka andesha hai kyunki woh baat hikmat ke sath karta hai jabke amali taur par zulm karta hai.” Imam Bayhaqi ne tinon ahadees Shab al-iman mein riwayat ki hain. Hasan, Rawah al-Bayhaqi fi Shab al-iman.
Muhajir bin Habib narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Allah Almighty says: 'I do not accept all the words of a wise man, but I accept his intention and his resolve. If his intention and his resolve are for My obedience, then I consider his silence as praise and glory for Me, even though he may not have spoken.'"
(This narration is weak, as mentioned in Rawaah ad-Darami).

مہاجر بن حبیب ؓ بیان کرتے ہیں ، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا :’’ اللہ تعالیٰ کا ارشاد ہے : میں دانا کے سارے کلام کو قبول نہیں کرتا ، لیکن میں اس کی نیت اور اس کے ارادے کو قبول کرتا ہوں ، اگر اس کی نیت اور اس کا ارادہ میری اطاعت میں ہے تو میں اس کی خاموشی کو اپنے لیے حمد و وقار قرار دے دیتا ہوں اگرچہ اس نے کلام نہ کیا ہو ۔‘‘ اسنادہ ضعیف ، رواہ الدارمی ۔
Muhajir bin Habib bayan karte hain, Rasool Allah ne farmaya: Allah taala ka irshad hai: Main dana ke sare kalam ko qubool nahi karta, lekin main uski niyat aur uske irade ko qubool karta hun, agar uski niyat aur uska irada meri itaat mein hai to main uski khamoshi ko apne liye hamd o waqar qarar de deta hun agarche usne kalam na kiya ho.
