Salim narrated from Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri that the Prophet ﷺ said: “Do not accompany except a believer and do not let anyone eat your food except one God-fearing."
حضرت ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: "مومن کے سوا کسی اور کی رفاقت مت کرو اور متقی کے سوا کسی اور کو اپنا کھانا مت کھلاؤ"۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai keh Nabi SAW ne farmaya: "Moomin ke siwa kisi aur ki rafaqat mat karo aur muttaqi ke siwa kisi aur ko apna khana mat khilao".
Abu Sa’id al-Khudri reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Do not befriend anyone but a believer, and do not let anyone eat your food but one who is pious.”
حضرت ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا، ”مومن کے سوا کسی کو دوست نہ بناؤ اور متقی کے سوا کسی کو اپنا کھانا نہ کھلاؤ۔“
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya, ”Momin ke siwa kisi ko dost na banao aur muttaqi ke siwa kisi ko apna khana na khilao."
Abu Dharr narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "A man said, 'O Messenger of Allah, a man loves people but is unable to do their deeds?' He said, 'You are, O Abu Dharr, with whom you love.' He said, 'I love Allah and His Messenger.' He said, 'You are, O Abu Dharr, with whom you love.'"
ابوذر رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "ایک شخص نے کہا: 'اللہ کے رسول! ایک شخص ایسے لوگوں سے محبت کرتا ہے لیکن ان کے اعمال پر عمل کرنے کی طاقت نہیں رکھتا؟' آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: 'اے ابوذر! تم انہی کے ساتھ ہو گے جن سے تم محبت کرتے ہو۔' اس نے کہا: 'میں اللہ اور اس کے رسول سے محبت کرتا ہوں۔' آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: 'اے ابوذر! تم انہی کے ساتھ ہو گے جن سے تم محبت کرتے ہو۔'"
Abuzar RA bayan karte hain keh Rasool Allah SAW ne farmaya: "Ek shakhs ne kaha: 'Allah ke Rasool! Ek shakhs aise logon se mohabbat karta hai lekin un ke amal per amal karne ki taqat nahin rakhta?' Aap SAW ne farmaya: 'Aye Abuzar! Tum unhi ke sath ho ge jin se tum mohabbat karte ho.' Us ne kaha: 'Main Allah aur us ke Rasool se mohabbat karta hun.' Aap SAW ne farmaya: 'Aye Abuzar! Tum unhi ke sath ho ge jin se tum mohabbat karte ho.'"
Abu Musa narrated that a man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: "O Messenger of Allah! I see a man who loves people but cannot catch up to them (in righteous deeds)." He said: "A man is with whom he loves."
حضرت ابو موسیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ ایک آدمی نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا اور عرض کی: "اے اللہ کے رسول! میں ایک ایسے شخص کو دیکھتا ہوں جو لوگوں سے محبت کرتا ہے لیکن (نیک اعمال میں) ان تک نہیں پہنچ سکتا۔" آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "آدمی اس کے ساتھ ہے جس سے وہ محبت کرتا ہے۔"
Hazrat Abu Moosa Radi Allahu Anhu bayan karte hain ke ek aadmi Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ki khidmat mein hazir hua aur arz ki: "Aye Allah ke Rasool! Mein ek aise shakhs ko dekhta hun jo logon se mohabbat karta hai lekin (nek amal mein) un tak nahin pohanch sakta." Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Aadmi uske saath hai jisse woh mohabbat karta hai."
Abu Musa said:
While I was with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, staying at Al-Ji'ranah between Makkah and Madinah, and Bilal was with him, a Bedouin man came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and said, “O Muhammad, will you not fulfill what you promised me?” The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to him, “Receive good tidings.” The Bedouin said to him, “You have given me much good tidings.” The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, turned to Abu Musa and Bilal with the appearance of displeasure and said, “This one has rejected the good tidings, so accept it you two.” They said, “We accept, O Messenger of Allah.” The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, called for a vessel of water, then said to them, “Drink from it and pour some over your faces or your necks.” They took the vessel and did as the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, commanded them. Umm Salamah called to us from behind the curtain, “Save some of it in your vessel for your mother.” So we saved some of it for her.
ابو موسیٰ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ مکہ اور مدینہ کے درمیان مقام جعرانہ میں تھے اور بلال رضی اللہ عنہ بھی آپ کے ساتھ تھے کہ ایک دیہاتی آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا اور کہنے لگا، اے محمد! کیا آپ مجھ سے اپنا وعدہ پورا نہیں فرمائیں گے؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: خوش ہو جاؤ۔ اس نے کہا: آپ نے تو مجھے بہت خوش کر دیا۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ابو موسیٰ اور بلال رضی اللہ عنہما کی طرف متوجہ ہو کر فرمایا: اس نے خوشخبری کو ٹھکرا دیا ہے لہٰذا تم دونوں قبول کر لو۔ ان دونوں نے کہا: ہم قبول کرتے ہیں، اللہ کے رسول! آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے پانی کا برتن منگوایا پھر فرمایا: اس میں سے پیو اور اپنے چہروں اور گردنوں پر ڈالو۔ چنانچہ ان دونوں نے برتن لے کر ایسا ہی کیا جیسا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے انہیں حکم دیا تھا۔ اتنے میں پردے کے پیچھے سے ام المومنین حضرت ام سلمہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے آواز دی کہ اپنے برتن میں سے کچھ پانی میرے لیے بھی بچا رکھنا چنانچہ ہم نے ان کے لیے بھی کچھ پانی بچا لیا۔
Abu Musa bayan karte hain keh hum Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ke sath Makkah aur Madina ke darmiyan maqam Ja'rana mein the aur Bilal razi Allahu anhu bhi aap ke sath the keh aik dehati aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ki khidmat mein hazir hua aur kehne laga, Ae Muhammad! kya aap mujh se apna wada pura nahin farmayenge? Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: Khush ho jao. Usne kaha: Aap ne to mujhe bahut khush kar diya. Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne Abu Musa aur Bilal razi Allahu anhuma ki taraf mutawajjah ho kar farmaya: Usne khushkhabri ko thukra diya hai lihaza tum dono qabool kar lo. Un donon ne kaha: Hum qabool karte hain, Allah ke Rasool! Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne pani ka bartan mangwaya phir farmaya: Is mein se piyo aur apne chehron aur gardanon par daalo. Chunache un donon ne bartan le kar aisa hi kiya jaisa keh Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne unhen hukm diya tha. Itne mein parde ke peeche se Umm-ul-Momineen Hazrat Umm Salma razi Allahu anha ne awaz di keh apne bartan mein se kuchh pani mere liye bhi bacha rakhna chunanche hum ne un ke liye bhi kuchh pani bacha liya.
Haywah ibn Shuraih reported: Salim ibn Ghailan informed me that Al-Walid ibn Qays informed him that he heard Abu Sa'eed al-Khudri that he heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, "Do not keep company with anyone but a believer and do not let anyone eat your food but a pious person."
حیوۃ بن شریح نے بیان کیا : Salim بن غیلان نے مجھے بتایا کہ ولید بن قیس نے انہیں بتایا کہ انہوں نے ابو سعید الخدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا ، انہوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے سنا ” مومن کے سوا کسی کی صحبت اختیار نہ کرو اور متقی کے سوا کسی کو اپنا کھانا نہ کھلاؤ “ ۔
Hayat bin Sharih ne bayan kiya Salim bin Ghailan ne mujhe bataya keh Waleed bin Qais ne unhen bataya keh unhon ne Abu Saeed al-Khudri RA se suna unhon ne Rasool Allah SAW ko farmate suna Momin ke siwa kisi ki sohabat ikhtiyar na karo aur muttaqi ke siwa kisi ko apna khana na khilao
Abu Musa narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "The example of a good companion and a bad companion is like that of the carrier of musk and the one blowing on a furnace. As for the carrier of musk, then either he will gift you some, or you will buy some from him, or you will get a pleasant smell from him. And as for the one blowing on the furnace, then either he will burn your clothes or you will get an offensive smell from him."
حضرت ابو موسیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: "اچھے اور برے ساتھی کی مثال کستوری اٹھانے والے اور بھٹی کی ہوا دینے والے جیسی ہے۔ رہا کستوری والا تو یا تو تمہیں کستوری بطورِ تحفہ دے گا یا تم اس سے کچھ خریدو گے یا پھر تمہیں اس سے خوشبو ہی ملے گی۔ رہا بھٹی والا تو وہ یا تو تمہارے کپڑے جلا دے گا یا پھر تمہیں اس سے بدبو ہی ملے گی۔"
Hazrat Abu Musa Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Achhe aur bure saathi ki misaal kasturi uthane wale aur bhatti ki hawa dene wale jaisi hai. Raha kasturi wala to ya to tumhen kasturi ba tor e tohfa dega ya tum us se kuchh kharidoge ya phir tumhen us se khushboo hi milay gi. Raha bhatti wala to woh ya to tumhare kapde jala dega ya phir tumhen us se badboo hi milay gi."
Safwan ibn Assal al-Muradi reported: A man came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and he called out to him in a loud voice. We said, “Woe to you! Lower your voice, for you have been prohibited from doing this.” The man said, “By Allah, I will not until he hears me.” The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, gestured with his hand, “Here I am.” The man said, “Have you seen a man who loves a people and has not yet joined them?” The Prophet said, “He is with whom he loves.”
"حضرت صفوان بن عسال مرادی رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس ایک شخص آیا اور اونچی آواز میں آپ کو پکارا۔ ہم نے کہا: "تم پر افسوس! اپنی آواز نیچی کرو، کیونکہ تمہیں ایسا کرنے سے منع کیا گیا ہے۔" اس شخص نے کہا: "اللہ کی قسم! میں ایسا نہیں کروں گا جب تک کہ وہ مجھے نہ سن لے۔" نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنے ہاتھ سے اشارہ کیا، "میں حاضر ہوں"۔ اس شخص نے کہا: "کیا آپ نے کسی ایسے شخص کو دیکھا ہے جو کچھ لوگوں سے محبت کرتا ہے اور ابھی تک ان سے نہیں ملا؟" نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "وہ اس کے ساتھ ہے جس سے وہ محبت کرتا ہے۔"
Hazrat Safwan bin Assal Muradi Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke pass ek shakhs aaya aur oonchi aawaz mein aap ko pukara. Hum ne kaha: "Tum par afsos! Apni aawaz neechi karo, kyunki tumhein aisa karne se mana kiya gaya hai." Is shakhs ne kaha: "Allah ki qasam! Main aisa nahin karunga jab tak ki woh mujhe na sun le." Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne apne hath se ishara kiya, "Main hazir hun". Is shakhs ne kaha: "Kya aap ne kisi aise shakhs ko dekha hai jo kuch logon se mohabbat karta hai aur abhi tak un se nahin mila?" Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Woh uske sath hai jisse woh mohabbat karta hai."
Anas narrated that a man said: "O Messenger of Allah, when will the Hour be?" He said: "What have you prepared for it?" The man said: "I love Allah and His Messenger." He said: "You are with those whom you love."
حضرت انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ ایک شخص نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! قیامت کب قائم ہوگی؟ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: تم نے اس کے لیے کیا تیاری کی ہے؟ اس شخص نے عرض کیا: میں اللہ اور اس کے رسول سے محبت کرتا ہوں۔ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: تم ان لوگوں کے ساتھ ہو گے جن سے تم محبت کرتے ہو۔
Hazrat Anas Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki aik shakhs ne arz kiya: Allah ke Rasool! Qayamat kab qaim hogi? Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: Tum ne is ke liye kya taiyari ki hai? Iss shakhs ne arz kiya: Main Allah aur uske Rasool se mohabbat karta hun. Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: Tum un logon ke sath ho ge jin se tum mohabbat karte ho.
Al-Hasan reported from Anas ibn Malik that a man said: "O Prophet of Allah, when will the Hour be?" He said: "Verily, it will come, but have you prepared for it?" He said: "I have not prepared much for it with deeds, except that I love Allah and His Messenger." The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said: "You will be with whom you love, and you will have what you intended."
انَس بن مالِک رَضی اللہُ عنہُ سے رِوایَت ہے کہ ایک شخص نے عرض کِیا : یا رَسولَ اللہ! قیامت کب قائم ہو گی؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : ” وہ تو ضرور قائم ہو کر رہے گی، تم نے اس کے لیے کیا تیاری کی ہے؟” اس نے عرض کِیا : ” اعمال کے اعتبار سے تو میں نے اس کی کچھ زیادہ تیاری نہیں کی، البتہ میں اللہ اور اس کے رَسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے محبّت کرتا ہوں۔” آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : ” تُو اپنے محبوب کے ساتھ ہو گا اور تجھے وہی ملے گا جس کی تو نے نیّت کی ہو گی۔”
Anas bin Malik Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki aik shakhs ne arz kiya Ya Rasool Allah qayamat kab qaim ho gi Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya woh to zaroor qaim ho kar rahe gi tum ne is ke liye kya taiyari ki hai usne arz kiya amal ke aitbaar se to maine is ki kuchh zyada taiyari nahin ki albatta main Allah aur uske Rasool Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam se muhabbat karta hun Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya tu apne mahboob ke sath ho ga aur tujhe wohi mile ga jis ki tu ne niyat ki ho gi
Anas narrated that a man said: "O Messenger of Allah! When will the Hour be established?" The prayer was called for, so the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) led the prayer. When he finished the prayer, he said, "Where is the one who was asking about the Hour?" The man said, "Here I am, O Messenger of Allah!" He (ﷺ) said, "What have you prepared for it?" The man said, "I have not prepared for it any great deeds, except that I love Allah and His Messenger." So the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "You will be with those whom you love." He had with him a man from the Ansar, who was called Muhammad. He (ﷺ) said, "If this man lives, old age will not befall him until the Hour is established."
''حضرت انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ ایک شخص نے عرض کیا : اللہ کے رسول! قیامت کب قائم ہو گی؟ اتنے میں نماز کے لیے اقامت ہو گئی، تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نماز پڑھانے کے لیے کھڑے ہو گئے، جب آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نماز سے فارغ ہوئے تو فرمایا : وہ شخص کہاں ہے جو قیامت کے بارے میں پوچھ رہا تھا؟ وہ شخص کہنے لگا : اللہ کے رسول! میں حاضر ہوں۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : تم نے اس کے لیے کیا تیاری کی ہے؟ اس شخص نے کہا : میں نے اس کے لیے کوئی زیادہ بڑے عمل کی تیاری نہیں کی، سوائے اس کے کہ میں اللہ اور اس کے رسول سے محبت کرتا ہوں۔ تو نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : تم انہی کے ساتھ ہو گے جن سے تم محبت کرتے ہو۔" (رواہ مسلم) آپ کے ساتھ انصار کا ایک شخص تھا جس کا نام محمد تھا، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : اگر یہ شخص زندہ رہا تو اسے بڑھاپا نہیں آئے گا یہاں تک کہ قیامت قائم ہو جائے گی۔'' (صحیح بخاری)
Hazrat Anas Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki aik shakhs ne arz kiya : Allah ke Rasool! Qayamat kab qaim ho gi? Itne mein namaz ke liye iqamat ho gayi, to Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam namaz parhane ke liye kharay ho gaye, jab Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam namaz se farigh huye to farmaya : Woh shakhs kahan hai jo qayamat ke bare mein pooch raha tha? Woh shakhs kehne laga : Allah ke Rasool! mein hazir hun. Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya : Tum ne is ke liye kya taiyari ki hai? Us shakhs ne kaha : Mein ne is ke liye koi zyada bare amal ki taiyari nahin ki, siwaye is ke ki mein Allah aur us ke Rasool se mohabbat karta hun. To Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya : Tum unhi ke sath ho ge jin se tum mohabbat karte ho." (Rawah Muslim) Aap ke sath Ansar ka aik shakhs tha jis ka naam Muhammad tha, Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya : Agar yeh shakhs zinda raha to ise budhapa nahin aaye ga yahan tak ki qayamat qaim ho jaye gi." (Sahih Bukhari)
Anas ibn Malik reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Two people will not love each other for the sake of Allah Almighty except that the better of them is the one who loves his companion more."
حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ” اللہ تعالیٰ کے لیے دو شخصوں کی محبت نہیں ہوتی سوائے اس کے کہ ان میں سے بہتر وہ ہے جو اپنے ساتھی سے زیادہ محبت کرتا ہے “ ۔
Hazrat Anas bin Malik Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya " Allah Ta'ala ke liye do shakhson ki muhabbat nahi hoti siwae iske ki un me se behtar wo hai jo apne sathi se zyada muhabbat karta hai " .
Abu Huraira reported that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Whoever incites a servant against his masters is not from us, and whoever corrupts a woman against her husband is not from us."
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "جو کوئی کسی غلام کو اپنے آقا کے خلاف بھڑکائے وہ ہم میں سے نہیں اور جو کوئی کسی عورت کو اپنے شوہر کے خلاف خراب کرے وہ ہم میں سے نہیں۔"
Hazrat Abu Hurairah razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai ki Nabi sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "Jo koi kisi ghulam ko apne aqa ke khilaf bharkaye woh hum mein se nahin aur jo koi kisi aurat ko apne shohar ke khilaf kharab kare woh hum mein se nahin."
Narrated Nafi’:
I heard Ibn Umar saying: While I was sitting with the Prophet (ﷺ) a man came to him, greeted him and then turned away to leave. I said, “O Messenger of Allah, I love this man for the sake of Allah.” He (ﷺ) said: “Did you inform him of that?” I said: “No.” He (ﷺ) said: “Go and inform your brother of that.” I followed that man, caught up with him, took hold of his shoulder, greeted him and said: “By Allah, I love you for the sake of Allah.” He said: “And by Allah, I love you for the sake of Allah.” I said: “Had the Prophet (ﷺ) not commanded me to inform you, I would not have done so.”
نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ جب میں بیٹھا ہوا تھا تو ایک آدمی آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو سلام کیا اور پھر واپس جانے کے لیے مڑا، تو میں نے کہا: اللہ کے رسول! میں اس شخص سے اللہ کے لیے محبت کرتا ہوں۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”کیا تم نے اسے اس کی اطلاع دی ہے؟“ میں نے کہا: نہیں۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”جاؤ اور اپنے بھائی کو اس کی اطلاع دو۔“ چنانچہ میں نے اس شخص کے پیچھے جا کر اسے پکڑ لیا اور اس کے کندھے کو تھام کر اسے سلام کیا اور کہا: اللہ کی قسم! میں آپ سے اللہ کے لیے محبت کرتا ہوں۔ اس نے کہا: اللہ کی قسم! میں بھی آپ سے اللہ کے لیے محبت کرتا ہوں۔ تو میں نے کہا کہ اگر نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم مجھے آپ کو اس کی اطلاع دینے کا حکم نہ دیتے تو میں آپ کو اس کی اطلاع نہ دیتا۔
Nabi Kareem sallallahu alaihi wasallam ke sath jab main baitha hua tha to ek aadmi aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ki khidmat mein hazir hua, aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ko salaam kiya aur phir wapas jane ke liye mura, to maine kaha: Allah ke Rasool! Main is shakhs se Allah ke liye mohabbat karta hun. Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "Kya tumne use iski ittila di hai?" Maine kaha: nahi. Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "Jao aur apne bhai ko iski ittila do." Chunancha main is shakhs ke peeche ja kar use pakar liya aur uske kandhe ko thaam kar use salaam kiya aur kaha: Allah ki qasam! Main aapse Allah ke liye mohabbat karta hun. Usne kaha: Allah ki qasam! Main bhi aapse Allah ke liye mohabbat karta hun. To maine kaha ke agar Nabi Kareem sallallahu alaihi wasallam mujhe aapko iski ittila dene ka hukum na dete to main aapko iski ittila na deta.
Al-Miqdam ibn Ma'di Karib reported: The Prophet ﷺ said, "If one of you loves his brother, then let him inform him."
حضرت مقدام بن معد يكرب رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا ”تم میں سے جو اپنے بھائی سے محبت کرے تو اسے اس کی خبر پہنچا دے“۔

Anas bin Malik said:
While I was sitting with the Prophet (ﷺ) a man passed by. One of the people said: "O Messenger of Allah! I love this man." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Have you informed him of that?" He said, "No." He (ﷺ) said, "Get up and inform him." So he went up to him and said, "I love you for the sake of Allah." He said, "May He whom you love me for, love you."
حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نبی ﷺ کے پاس بیٹھا تھا کہ ایک آدمی گزرے۔ آپ ﷺ کے صحابہ میں سے ایک شخص نے کہا: اللہ کے رسول! میں اس شخص سے محبت کرتا ہوں۔ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: کیا تم نے اسے اس کی اطلاع دی ہے؟ اس نے کہا: نہیں۔ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: جاؤ اور اسے بتا دو۔ چنانچہ وہ اس کے پاس گیا اور کہا: میں تم سے اللہ کے لیے محبت کرتا ہوں۔ اس نے کہا: وہ ذات جس کے لیے تم مجھ سے محبت کرتے ہو وہ تم سے محبت کرے۔
Hazrat Anas bin Malik RA se riwayat hai ke aik martaba main Nabi SAW ke paas baitha tha ke aik aadmi guzre. Aap SAW ke sahaba mein se aik shakhs ne kaha: Allah ke Rasool! Main iss shakhs se mohabbat karta hoon. Aap SAW ne farmaya: kya tumne ise iski ittila di hai? Usne kaha: nahi. Aap SAW ne farmaya: jao aur ise bata do. Chunancha woh uske paas gaya aur kaha: main tumse Allah ke liye mohabbat karta hoon. Usne kaha: woh zaat jiske liye tum mujhse mohabbat karte ho woh tumse mohabbat kare.
Abu Hurairah narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: “A man visited his brother in another village. So, Allah stationed an angel in his path. When the man reached the angel, the angel asked him, ‘Where do you intend to go?’ He replied, ‘I intend to visit my brother in this village.’ The angel said, ‘Do you have any favor over him for which you hope to be recompensed?’ He said, ‘No, except that I love him for the sake of Allah.’ The angel said, ‘I am a messenger to you from Allah: Allah loves you just as you love your brother for His sake.’ ”
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”ایک آدمی اپنے ایک بھائی سے ملنے دوسرے گاؤں گیا۔ راستے میں اللہ تعالیٰ نے ایک فرشتہ کو اس کے لیے مقرر کر دیا۔ جب وہ آدمی فرشتے کے پاس پہنچا تو فرشتے نے اس سے پوچھا، ’کہاں جانے کا ارادہ ہے؟‘ اس نے جواب دیا، ’میں اس گاؤں میں اپنے بھائی سے ملنے جا رہا ہوں۔‘ فرشتے نے پوچھا، ’کیا تم نے اس پر کوئی ایسا احسان کیا ہے جس کا بدلہ تمہیں ملنے کی امید ہو؟‘ اس نے کہا، ’نہیں، سوائے اس کے کہ میں اسے اللہ کے لیے پیار کرتا ہوں۔‘ فرشتے نے کہا، ’میں اللہ کی طرف سے تمہارے لیے ایک قاصد ہوں: اللہ تم سے ویسے ہی پیار کرتا ہے جیسے تم اپنے بھائی سے اس کی رضا کے لیے پیار کرتے ہو۔“
Hazrat Abu Huraira Razi Allah Anhu se riwayat hai ki Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Ek aadmi apne ek bhai se milne dusre gaon gaya. Raste mein Allah Ta'ala ne ek farishte ko uske liye muqarar kar diya. Jab woh aadmi farishte ke pass pahuncha to farishte ne us se poocha, 'Kahan jaane ka irada hai?' Usne jawab diya, 'Main is gaon mein apne bhai se milne ja raha hoon.' Farishte ne poocha, 'Kya tumne us par koi aisa ehsan kiya hai jis ka badla tumhein milne ki umeed ho?' Usne kaha, 'Nahin, siwaye iske ki main use Allah ke liye pyar karta hoon.' Farishte ne kaha, 'Main Allah ki taraf se tumhare liye ek qasid hoon: Allah tum se waise hi pyar karta hai jaise tum apne bhai se uski raza ke liye pyar karte ho."
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, among the servants of Allah are some who are not prophets, but the prophets and martyrs will envy them.” It was said, “Who are they, that we may love them?” The Prophet said, “They are people who love each other for the light of Allah, without it being due to any kinship or blood ties between them. Their faces are radiant with light, upon pulpits of light. When the people are struck with terror, they will not fear. When the people grieve, they will not grieve.” Then he recited the verse, “Verily, the friends of Allah do not have fear, nor will they grieve.” (10:62)
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”اللہ کے بندوں میں کچھ ایسے بھی ہیں جو نبی نہیں ہیں لیکن انبیاء اور شہداء ان سے رشک کریں گے۔“ صحابہ کرام نے پوچھا: ”یہ کون لوگ ہیں کہ ہم بھی ان سے محبت کریں؟“ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”یہ وہ لوگ ہیں جو اللہ کی روشنی کے لیے ایک دوسرے سے محبت کرتے ہیں، بغیر کسی رشتہ داری یا خونی رشتے کے۔ ان کے چہرے نور سے چمکتے ہوں گے، روشنی کے ممبروں پر۔ جب لوگوں پر دہشت طاری ہوگی تو یہ نہ ڈریں گے۔ جب لوگ غمگین ہوں گے تو یہ غمگین نہ ہوں گے۔“ پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے یہ آیت پڑھی: ”سن لو! اللہ کے دوستوں پر نہ کوئی خوف ہوگا اور نہ ہی وہ غمگین ہوں گے۔“ (سورۃ یونس: 62)
Hazrat Abu Hurairah Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: “Allah ke bandon mein kuch aise bhi hain jo nabi nahin hain lekin anbiya aur shuhada un se rashk karenge.” Sahaba karam ne pucha: “Yeh kaun log hain ki hum bhi un se muhabbat karen?” Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: “Yeh woh log hain jo Allah ki roshni ke liye ek dusre se muhabbat karte hain, baghair kisi rishtedari ya khooni rishte ke. Un ke chehre noor se chamakte honge, roshni ke membron par. Jab logon par dahshat tari hogi to yeh na darenge. Jab log ghamgeen honge to yeh ghamgeen na honge.” Phir Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne yeh ayat padhi: “Sun lo! Allah ke doston par na koi khauf hoga aur na hi woh ghamgeen honge.” (Surat Yunus: 62)
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Allah Almighty will say, 'Where are those who love one another for the sake of My majesty? Today I will shade them in My shade on a day when there is no shade but My shade.'"
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا اللہ تعالیٰ فرمائے گا کہ وہ لوگ کہاں ہیں جو میری محبت میں ایک دوسرے سے محبت کرتے تھے آج کے دن میں انہیں اپنے سائے میں جگہ دوں گا اس دن جس دن میرے سائے کے سوا کوئی سایہ نہ ہوگا۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya Allah Ta'ala farmaye ga ke woh log kahan hain jo meri mohabbat mein ek dusre se mohabbat karte the aaj ke din mein unhen apne saye mein jagah dun ga us din jis din mere saye ke siwa koi saya na hoga.
Abu Idris al-Khaulani said: I entered the mosque of Damascus and there I saw a shining, handsome jurist and the people were around him. When they differed on a matter, they would refer it to him and accept his opinion. So, I asked about him and it was said: "This is Muadh ibn Jabal." When it was the next morning, I went out early for prayer and found that he had preceded me to it, and I found him praying. He said: So I waited for him until he finished his prayer then I came to him from the front and greeted him, and I said: "By Allah! I love you for the sake of Allah." He said: "For Allah?" I said: "For Allah!" So, he took hold of the tie of my upper garment and pulled me towards him and said: "Rejoice, for I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying: Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, said: 'My love is incumbent upon those who love each other for My sake, and those who sit with each other for My sake, and those who visit each other for My sake.'"
ابو ادریس الخولانی رحمۃ اللہ علیہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ میں دمشق کی مسجد میں داخل ہوا تو میں نے ایک چمکتے ہوئے، خوبصورت فقیہ کو دیکھا اور لوگ ان کے ارد گرد تھے۔ جب وہ کسی مسئلے میں اختلاف کرتے تو اسے ان (حضرت معاذؓ) کی طرف پیش کرتے اور ان کی رائے قبول کرتے۔ تو میں نے ان کے بارے میں پوچھا تو بتایا گیا کہ یہ معاذ بن جبل رضی اللہ عنہ ہیں۔ جب اگلی صبح ہوئی تو میں نماز کے لیے جلدی نکلا تو میں نے انہیں اپنے سے پہلے نماز پڑھتے ہوئے پایا اور میں نے انہیں نماز پڑھتے ہوئے پایا۔ آپ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ میں ان کا انتظار کرتا رہا یہاں تک کہ انہوں نے اپنی نماز ختم کر لی پھر میں ان کے سامنے آیا اور انہیں سلام کیا، اور میں نے کہا: اللہ کی قسم! میں آپ سے اللہ کی خاطر محبت کرتا ہوں۔ انہوں نے کہا: اللہ کے لیے؟ میں نے کہا: اللہ کے لیے! تو انہوں نے میری قمیض کا تسمہ پکڑا اور مجھے اپنی طرف کھینچ لیا اور کہا: خوش ہو جاؤ، کیونکہ میں نے اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے: اللہ تبارک و تعالیٰ نے فرمایا: 'میری محبت ان لوگوں پر واجب ہے جو میری خاطر ایک دوسرے سے محبت کرتے ہیں، اور جو میری خاطر ایک دوسرے کے ساتھ بیٹھتے ہیں، اور جو میری خاطر ایک دوسرے سے ملاقات کرتے ہیں۔'
Abu Udrais alkhaulani rehmatullah alaih bayan karte hain ke mein Dimashq ki masjid mein dakhil hua to mein ne ek chamaktaye huwe, khoobsoorat faqih ko dekha aur log unke ird gird thay. Jab wo kisi masle mein ikhtilaf karte to use un (Hazrat Muaz) ki taraf pesh karte aur unki rai qabool karte. To mein ne unke bare mein poocha to bataya gaya ke ye Muaz bin Jabal razi Allah anhu hain. Jab agli subah hui to mein namaz ke liye jaldi nikla to mein ne unhen apne se pehle namaz parhte huwe paya aur mein ne unhen namaz parhte huwe paya. Aap bayan karte hain ke mein unka intezar karta raha yahan tak ke unhon ne apni namaz khatam kar li phir mein unke samne aaya aur unhen salam kiya, aur mein ne kaha: Allah ki qasam! mein aapse Allah ki khatir muhabbat karta hun. Unhon ne kaha: Allah ke liye? Mein ne kaha: Allah ke liye! To unhon ne meri qameez ka tasma pakra aur mujhe apni taraf khench liya aur kaha: Khush ho jao, kyunke mein ne Allah ke Rasool sallallahu alaihi wasallam ko farmate huwe suna hai: Allah tabarak wa ta'ala ne farmaya: 'Meri muhabbat un logon par wajib hai jo meri khatir ek doosre se muhabbat karte hain, aur jo meri khatir ek doosre ke sath baithte hain, aur jo meri khatir ek doosre se mulaqat karte hain.'
Abu Huraira reported that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "A man visited his brother in another village. Allah sent an angel to him on his way. The angel asked him, 'Where are you going?' He said, 'I am visiting my brother in this village.' The angel asked, 'Do you have any favor (i.e., debt) upon him that you are seeking to be repaid?' He replied, 'No, except that I love him for the sake of Allah.' The angel said, 'I am a messenger from Allah to you: Verily, Allah has loved you just as you have loved him.'"
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "ایک آدمی اپنے ایک بھائی کی عیادت کے لیے دوسرے گاؤں گیا۔ راستے میں اللہ تعالیٰ نے ایک فرشتہ اس کے پاس بھیجا۔ فرشتے نے اس سے پوچھا، 'کہاں جا رہے ہو؟' اس نے کہا، 'میں اپنے بھائی کی عیادت کے لیے اس گاؤں جا رہا ہوں۔' فرشتے نے پوچھا، 'کیا تمہارا اس پر کوئی احسان (یعنی قرض) ہے جس کی واپسی کے لیے جا رہے ہو؟' اس نے جواب دیا، 'نہیں، سوائے اس کے کہ میں اس سے اللہ کی رضا کے لیے محبت کرتا ہوں۔' فرشتے نے کہا، 'میں اللہ کی طرف سے تمہارے پاس ایک قاصد ہوں: بے شک اللہ تعالیٰ تم سے ویسے ہی محبت کرتا ہے جیسے تم اس سے محبت کرتے ہو۔"

Farishte ne poocha, 'Kya tumhara us per koi ehsaan (yani qarz) hai jiski wapsi ke liye ja rahe ho?' Usne jawab diya, 'Nahin, siwaye iske ki main us se Allah ki raza ke liye mohabbat karta hun.' Farishte ne kaha, 'Main Allah ki taraf se tumhare paas ek qasid hun: Be shak Allah Ta'ala tum se waise hi mohabbat karta hai jaise tum us se mohabbat karte ho."
Abu Muslim al-Khawlani said: I said to Muadh ibn Jabal, "By Allah, I love you not for the sake of any worldly gain that I hope to get from you, nor for any kinship between you and me." He said, "Then for what (reason)?" I said, "For the sake of Allah." So he drew me close and said, "Rejoice, if you are truthful. I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: 'Those who love each other for the sake of Allah will be under the shade of the Throne on the Day when there will be no shade but His Shade, and the Prophets and the martyrs will envy them their position." Then (Abu Muslim) said: I went out and came to Ubadah ibn as-Samit and told him the hadith of Muadh. Ubadah ibn as-Samit said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say, from his Lord, Blessed and Exalted is He: 'My love is due to those who love one another for My sake, and My love is due to those who advise one another for My sake, and My love is due to those who visit one another for My sake, and My love is due to those who spend on one another for My sake. They will be upon pulpits of light, envied by the Prophets and the truthful ones for their position."
ابو مسلم الخولانی رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے معاذ بن جبل رضی اللہ عنہ سے کہا: اللہ کی قسم! میں آپ سے محبت کسی دنیاوی فائدے کی وجہ سے نہیں کرتا جس کی مجھے آپ سے امید ہو، اور نہ ہی آپ اور میرے درمیان کسی رشتہ داری کی وجہ سے۔ انہوں نے کہا: "پھر کس وجہ سے؟" میں نے کہا: "اللہ کے لیے۔" تو انہوں نے مجھے قریب کیا اور کہا: "خوش ہو جاؤ، اگر تم سچے ہو۔ میں نے اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے: 'جو اللہ کے لیے ایک دوسرے سے محبت کرتے ہیں وہ اس دن عرش کے سائے میں ہوں گے جب اس کے سائے کے سوا کوئی سایہ نہیں ہوگا، اور انبیاء اور شہداء ان کے مقام پر رشک کریں گے۔" پھر (ابو مسلم) نے کہا: میں باہر نکلا اور عبادہ بن صامت رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس آیا اور انہیں معاذ رضی اللہ عنہ کی حدیث سنائی۔ عبادہ بن صامت رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: "میں نے اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو اپنے رب کی طرف سے یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا، وہ بابرکت اور بلند مرتبہ ہے: 'میری محبت ان لوگوں کے لیے واجب ہے جو میرے لیے ایک دوسرے سے محبت کرتے ہیں، اور میری محبت ان لوگوں کے لیے واجب ہے جو میرے لیے ایک دوسرے کو نصیحت کرتے ہیں، اور میری محبت ان لوگوں کے لیے واجب ہے جو میرے لیے ایک دوسرے کی زیارت کرتے ہیں، اور میری محبت ان لوگوں کے لیے واجب ہے جو میرے لیے ایک دوسرے پر خرچ کرتے ہیں۔ وہ نور کے منبروں پر ہوں گے، انبیاء اور صدیقین ان کے مقام پر رشک کریں گے۔"
Abu Muslim Al-Khaulani razi Allah anhu kehte hain ki main ne Muaz bin Jabal razi Allah anhu se kaha: Allah ki qasam! main aap se muhabbat kisi dunyawi faide ki wajah se nahin karta jiski mujhe aap se umeed ho, aur na hi aap aur mere darmiyan kisi rishtedari ki wajah se. Unhon ne kaha: "Phir kis wajah se?" Main ne kaha: "Allah ke liye." To unhon ne mujhe qareeb kiya aur kaha: "Khush ho jao, agar tum sache ho. Main ne Allah ke Rasul sallallahu alaihi wasallam ko ye farmate huye suna hai: 'Jo Allah ke liye ek doosre se muhabbat karte hain wo us din Arsh ke saaye mein honge jab uske saaye ke siwa koi saya nahin hoga, aur Anbiya aur Shuhada unke muqam par rashk karenge." Phir (Abu Muslim) ne kaha: Main bahar nikla aur Ubadah bin Samit razi Allah anhu ke pass aaya aur unhen Muaz razi Allah anhu ki hadees sunai. Ubadah bin Samit razi Allah anhu ne kaha: "Main ne Allah ke Rasul sallallahu alaihi wasallam ko apne Rab ki taraf se ye farmate huye suna, wo ba-barkat aur buland martaba hai: 'Meri muhabbat un logon ke liye wajib hai jo mere liye ek doosre se muhabbat karte hain, aur meri muhabbat un logon ke liye wajib hai jo mere liye ek doosre ko nasihat karte hain, aur meri muhabbat un logon ke liye wajib hai jo mere liye ek doosre ki ziyarat karte hain, aur meri muhabbat un logon ke liye wajib hai jo mere liye ek doosre par kharch karte hain. Wo noor ke mimbaron par honge, Anbiya aur Siddiqin unke muqam par rashk karenge."
Anas bin Malik narrated that a man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Where is my father?" He ﷺ said, "In the Fire." When the man turned away, he ﷺ called him and said ﷺ, "Verily, my father and your father are in the Fire."
حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ ایک شخص نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا اور عرض کیا کہ میرے والد کہاں ہیں۔ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ وہ جہنم میں ہیں۔ جب وہ شخص مڑ کر جانے لگا تو آپ ﷺ نے اسے بلایا اور فرمایا کہ میرے والد اور تمہارے والد دونوں جہنم میں ہیں۔
Hazrat Anas bin Malik Radi Allaho Anho se riwayat hai ki aik shakhs Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ki khidmat mein hazir hua aur arz kiya ke mere walid kahan hain Aap Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya ke wo jahanum mein hain Jab wo shakhs mud kar jane laga to Aap Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne use bulaya aur farmaya ke mere walid aur tumhare walid dono jahanum mein hain
Abu Musa narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “The example of a good companion is like that of a perfume seller. If you do not get any perfume from him, you will at least smell its fragrance. And the example of a bad companion is like that of a blacksmith. Even if his fire does not burn you, at least the smoke will bother you.”
حضرت ابو موسیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ’’اچھے ساتھی کی مثال خوشبو والے کی طرح ہے کہ اگر تم اس سے خوشبو نہ بھی لو تو بھی تمہیں اس کی خوشبو ضرور ملے گی اور برے ساتھی کی مثال لوہار کی طرح ہے کہ اگر اس کی آگ تمہیں جلائے نہ بھی تو اس کا دھواں ضرور تمہیں نقصان پہنچائے گا۔‘‘
Hazrat Abu Musa Radi Allahu Anhu bayan karte hain keh Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: ''Achhe sathi ki misaal khushbu wale ki tarah hai keh agar tum us se khushbu na bhi lo to bhi tumhein us ki khushbu zaroor milegi aur bure sathi ki misaal lohar ki tarah hai keh agar us ki aag tumhein jalaye na bhi to us ka dhuan zaroor tumhein nuqsan pahunchaye ga.''
'Abdullah ibn 'Umar said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Two people should not converse privately to the exclusion of a third."
عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”دو آدمی تنہائی میں اس طرح باتیں نہ کریں کہ تیسرے کو الگ کر دیں“ ۔
Abdullah bin Umar razi Allahu anhuma kahte hain ki Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: ”do aadmi tanhai mein is tarah baaten na karen ki teesre ko alag kar den“ .
Abdullah bin Dinar said: I was sitting with Ibn Umar and another man. Then a man came to talk to him, so he (Ibn Umar) said to them, "Move apart." The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Let not two speak privately to the exclusion of a third."
عبداللہ بن دینار رحمۃ اللہ علیہ نے کہا : میں اور ایک شخص ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس بیٹھے تھے کہ ایک آدمی ان سے بات کرنے آیا تو انہوں نے ہم سے کہا کہ ہٹ جاؤ، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا تین آدمیوں میں سے دو شخص اکیلے مشورہ نہ کریں ۔
Abdullah bin Dinaar rehmatullah alaih ne kaha: mein aur ek shakhs Ibn Umar radi Allahu anhu ke paas baithe the ke ek aadmi un se baat karne aaya to unhon ne hum se kaha ke hat jao, Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya teen aadmiyon mein se do shakhs akele mashwara na karen.
Abdullah bin Dinar narrated: I was with Abdullah bin Umar near the house of Khalid bin Uqbah which was in the market. A man came to him wanting to speak to him privately and there was no one with Abdullah bin Umar except me and the man who wanted to speak to him privately. Abdullah bin Umar called another man, so we were four, then he said to me and to the man whom he had called, "Move back! I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying: 'Two men should not speak privately without a third.'"
عبداللہ بن دینار بیان کرتے ہیں کہ میں عبداللہ بن عمر کے ساتھ خالد بن عقبہ کے گھر کے قریب تھا جو کہ بازار میں تھا ایک آدمی ان کے پاس آیا اور ان سے تنہائی میں بات کرنا چاہتا تھا اور عبداللہ بن عمر کے پاس میرے اور اس آدمی کے سوا کوئی نہ تھا جو ان سے تنہائی میں بات کرنا چاہتا تھا عبداللہ بن عمر نے ایک اور آدمی کو بلالیا تو ہم چار ہوگئے پھر انہوں نے مجھ سے اور اس آدمی سے جسے انہوں نے بلایا تھا کہا کہ پیچھے ہٹ جاؤ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ دو آدمی بغیر کسی تیسرے کے تنہائی میں بات نہ کریں
Abdullah bin Dinar bayan karte hain ki main Abdullah bin Umar ke sath Khalid bin Aqba ke ghar ke qareeb tha jo ki bazaar mein tha ek aadmi unke pass aaya aur unse tanhai mein baat karna chahta tha aur Abdullah bin Umar ke pass mere aur is aadmi ke siwa koi na tha jo unse tanhai mein baat karna chahta tha Abdullah bin Umar ne ek aur aadmi ko bulaya to hum chaar hogaye phir unhon ne mujhse aur is aadmi se jise unhon ne bulaya tha kaha ki peeche hat jao maine Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ko ye farmate hue suna hai ki do aadmi baghair kisi teesre ke tanhai mein baat na karen
Narrated Abdullah: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "When you are three, two of you should not converse secretly, leaving out (the third) till you mix with the people, for that hurts him."
حضرت عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "جب تم تین ہو تو تم میں سے دو آپس میں سرگوشی نہ کریں اور تیسرے کو چھوڑ دیں یہاں تک کہ تم لوگوں میں شامل نہ ہو جاؤ، کیونکہ یہ اسے تکلیف دیتا ہے۔"
Hazrat Abdullah raziallahu anhu se riwayat hai keh Nabi Kareem sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "Jab tum teen ho to tum mein se do aapas mein sargosi na karen aur teesre ko chhor dein yahan tak keh tum logon mein shamil na ho jao, kyunki yeh use takleef deta hai."
Ibn Umar narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Two people should not converse privately excluding their companion, for that will grieve him." Abu Salih said: I said to Ibn Umar, "What about four?" He said, "It does not matter."
حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”دو آدمی اپنے تیسرے ساتھی کو چھوڑ کر آپس میں سرگوشی نہ کریں کیونکہ یہ اسے رنجیدہ کرے گا۔“ حضرت ابو صالح رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے کہا کہ چار (آدمیوں) کے بارے میں کیا حکم ہے؟ آپ نے فرمایا ”اس میں کوئی حرج نہیں۔“
Hazrat Ibn Umar razi Allah anhuma se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya "do aadmi apne teesre sathi ko chhor kar aapas mein sargoshi na karen kyunki yeh use ranjeeda karega" Hazrat Abu Saleh rehmatullah alaih kehte hain ki main ne Hazrat Ibn Umar razi Allah anhuma se kaha ki chaar (aadmiyon) ke bare mein kya hukum hai Aap ne farmaya "is mein koi harj nahin"
Abu Sa’id al-Khudri reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Gatherings are of three types: beneficial, harmful, and safe.”
حضرت ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”مجلس تین طرح کی ہوتی ہے: نفع والی، نقصان والی اور امان والی۔“
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai keh Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: ”Majlis teen tarah ki hoti hai: nafa wali, nuqsan wali aur aman wali.”
Nafi' reported that Ibn Umar said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade that a man should make another man stand up from his place and then sit in his place, but rather you should spread out and make space.
نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس بات سے منع فرمایا ہے کہ ایک آدمی دوسرے آدمی کو اس کی جگہ سے اٹھا کر خود اس کی جگہ بیٹھ جائے بلکہ جگہ کشادہ کرو اور بیٹھنے کی جگہ بناؤ۔
Nabi Kareem sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne is baat se mana farmaya hai ke aik admi dusre admi ko uski jaga se utha kar khud uski jaga baith jaye balke jaga kasada karo aur baithne ki jaga banao
Narrated Ibn Umar: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "None of you should stand up from his place in a gathering and then sit in it."
حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”تم میں سے کوئی شخص اپنی مجلس سے کھڑے ہو کر پھر اسی جگہ پر نہ بیٹھے۔“
Hazrat Ibn Umar Radi Allahu Anhuma se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: Tum mein se koi shakhs apni majlis se kharay ho kar phir usi jaga par na baithe.
Abu Huraira reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "When a man leaves his spot then returns to it, he is more entitled to it."
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”جب آدمی اپنی جگہ چھوڑ کر چلا جائے پھر اس پر واپس آئے تو وہ اس کا زیادہ حقدار ہے“ ۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya "Jab aadmi apni jaga chhor kar chala jae phir us par wapas aae to wo us ka zyada haqdaar hai".
Jabir ibn Samurah said: "I entered upon the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and I saw him leaning on a cushion on his left."
جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ''میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو اپنی بائیں جانب تکیے پر ٹیک لگائے ہوئے پایا''۔
Jibir bin Samrah razi Allah anhu kehte hain ki main Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ki khidmat mein hazir hua to aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ko apni bayen janib takie par tek lagaye hue paya
Suhayl reported on the authority of his father, from his grandfather, that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "Any people who sit in a gathering in which they do not remember Allah and send blessings upon the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, will be a cause of grief to them on the Day of Resurrection."
سہیل نے اپنے والد سے ، انہوں نے اپنے دادا سے روایت کی کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا "جو لوگ کسی ایسی محفل میں بیٹھتے ہیں جس میں اللہ کا ذکر نہیں کرتے اور نبی پر درود نہیں بھجواتے تو وہ محفل قیامت کے دن ان پر حسرت و افسوس کا باعث ہو گی"
Sohail ne apne walid se, unhon ne apne dada se riwayat ki keh Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya "Jo log kisi aisi mehfil mein bethte hain jis mein Allah ka zikr nahin karte aur Nabi par durood nahin bhejvate to woh mehfil qayamat ke din un par hasrat o afsos ka baais ho gi"
Abu Hurairah narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Any people who sit in a sitting in which they do not remember Allah and send blessings upon their Prophet, there will be regret for them on the Day of Resurrection even if they are admitted to Paradise for their deeds."
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: "جو لوگ کسی ایسی مجلس میں بیٹھتے ہیں جس میں وہ اللہ کو یاد نہیں کرتے اور اپنے نبی پر درود نہیں بھیجتے تو قیامت کے دن ان کے لیے حسرت ہوگی اگرچہ وہ اپنے اعمال کی وجہ سے جنت میں داخل کر دیے جائیں"۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai ke Nabi Kareem sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "Jo log kisi aisi majlis mein baithte hain jis mein woh Allah ko yaad nahin karte aur apne Nabi par durood nahin bhejte to qayamat ke din un ke liye hasrat hogi agarcheh woh apne amal ki wajah se jannat mein dakhil kar diye jayen".
Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Any people who sit in a gathering in which they do not remember Allah nor send blessings upon their Prophet, such a gathering will be a source of regret for them on the Day of Resurrection, even if they are admitted into Paradise."
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا، "جو لوگ ایسی مجلس میں بیٹھتے ہیں جس میں نہ اللہ کا ذکر ہوتا ہے اور نہ ہی ان کے نبی پر درود بھیجا جاتا ہے تو قیامت کے دن ان کے لیے وہ مجلس حسرت کا باعث ہوگی اگرچہ وہ لوگ جنت ہی میں کیوں نہ داخل کر دیے جائیں"۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya, "Jo log aisi majlis mein baithte hain jis mein na Allah ka zikr hota hai aur na hi un ke Nabi par durood bheja jata hai to qayamat ke din un ke liye woh majlis hasrat ka baais hogi agarche woh log jannat hi mein kyun na daakhil kar diye jayen".
Amru bin al-Harith narrated to me, that Said bin Abi Said al-Maqburi told him, from Abdullah bin Amr that he (the Prophet) said: “There are some words, that no one utters in a gathering of amusement or falsehood, when it is about to disperse, three times, but they will serve as an expiation for those (who attended the gathering). And no one utters them in a gathering of goodness, and the remembrance (of Allah), but it will be sealed for him with them, just as a document is sealed with a seal: ‘Glory be to You, O Allah, and with Your praise. There is none worthy of worship but You. I seek Your forgiveness, and I repent to You.”
مجھ سے عمرو بن حارث نے بیان کیا ، کہا کہ مجھ سے سعید بن ابی سعید مقبری نے بیان کیا ، ان سے عبداللہ بن عمرو نے بیان کیا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”کچھ کلمات ایسے ہیں کہ جب لوگ بیہودگی یا جھوٹ کی مجلس میں بیٹھے ہوں اور وہ برخاست ہونے لگیں تو ان کلمات کو اگر تین بار کہہ لیں تو وہ ان کیلئے وہاں بیٹھنے کا کفارہ بن جاتے ہیں ۔ اور اگر کوئی شخص نیکی اور اللہ تعالیٰ کے ذکر والی مجلس میں ہو کر ان کلمات کو کہے تو ان کلمات کی وجہ سے اس کے لیے ایسا لکھا جائے گا جیسے کاغذ پر مہر لگا دی جائے ۔ (یہ کلمات یہ ہیں) ۔ ”سبحان اللہ وبحمدک لا الہ الا انت استغفرک واتوب الیک“ ۔ ”پاک ہے اللہ اور اس کی تعریف کے ساتھ ، تیرے سوا کوئی عبادت کے لائق نہیں ، میں تجھ سے بخشش مانگتا ہوں اور تیری طرف رجوع کرتا ہوں“ ۔
Mujh se Amr bin Haris ne bayan kiya, kaha ki mujh se Saeed bin Abi Saeed Maqburi ne bayan kiya, un se Abdullah bin Amro ne bayan kiya ki Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya “Kuch kalimat aise hain ki jab log behoodgi ya jhoot ki majlis mein baithe hon aur wo barkhaast hone lagein to in kalimat ko agar teen baar keh lein to wo unke liye wahan baithne ka kaffara ban jate hain. Aur agar koi shakhs neki aur Allah Ta’ala ke zikr wali majlis mein ho kar in kalimat ko kahe to in kalimat ki wajah se uske liye aisa likha jayega jaise kaghaz par mohar laga di jaye. (Yeh kalimat yeh hain). “Subhan Allahi wa bihamdihi la ilaha illa anta astaghfiruka wa atubu ilaik”. “Paak hai Allah aur uski tareef ke sath, tere siwa koi ibadat ke layak nahin, main tujhse bakhshish mangta hun aur teri taraf rujoo karta hun”.
Suhail's father reported on the authority of Abu Huraira, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Whoever sits in a gathering where there is much idle talk and says before getting up, 'Glory and praise be to You, our Lord. There is no deity worthy of worship except You. I seek Your forgiveness and repent to You,' he will be forgiven for his sins committed in that gathering."
سہیل کے والد نے حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کی، نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا، "جو شخص کسی ایسی مجلس میں بیٹھتا ہے جہاں بیہودہ گفتگو ہو رہی ہو اور وہ اٹھنے سے پہلے یہ کلمات کہہ لے 'سبحانک اللہم وبحمدک، لا الہ الا انت استغفرک واتوب الیک' تو اس مجلس میں اس سے جو گناہ سرزد ہوئے ہوں گے وہ معاف کر دیے جائیں گے۔"
