Sahl ibn Sa`d reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Two times in which the gates of Heaven are opened: at the time of the call to prayer and at the time of lining up in ranks for battle in the cause of Allah."
سعد بن سہل رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”دو وقت ایسے ہیں جن میں آسمان کے دروازے کھول دیے جاتے ہیں: اذان کے وقت اور اللہ کی راہ میں صف آراء ہونے کے وقت“
Saad bin Sahal raza Allah anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya do waqt aise hain jin mein asman ke darwaze khol diye jate hain azaan ke waqt aur Allah ki rah mein saf ara hone ke waqt
Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "If you see a man frequenting the mosque, then bear witness to his faith." Allah, the Exalted, has said, "{The mosques of Allah shall be visited and maintained by such as believe in Allah and the Last Day...}" (9:18).
حضرت ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ و سلم نے فرمایا: "جب تم دیکھو کہ کوئی شخص مسجد میں آتا جاتا رہتا ہے تو اس کی ایمان داری کی گواہی دو"۔ اللہ تعالیٰ نے فرمایا ہے: "اللہ کی مساجد کو وہی آباد کرتے ہیں جو اللہ اور قیامت پر ایمان لاتے ہیں"۔ (التوبہ: ۱۸)
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai keh Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "Jab tum dekho keh koi shakhs masjid mein aata jata rehta hai to us ki imaandari ki gawahi do". Allah ta'ala ne farmaya hai: "Allah ki masjidon ko wohi abad karte hain jo Allah aur qayamat per imaan laate hain". (Al-Tawbah: 18)
Huyayy ibn 'Abdillah reported to me from Abu 'Abdur-Rahman al-Hubuli from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amru: that a man came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and asked him about the most virtuous deed. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Prayer.” He said, “Then what?” He said, “Then prayer.” He said, “Then what?” He said, “Then prayer,” three times. He said, “Then what?” He said, “Then fighting for the sake of Allah.” He said, “Verily, I have parents.” The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “I enjoin you to treat your parents well.” He said, “By the One who sent you as a prophet, I will fight for the sake of Allah and leave them.” The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “You know best.”
حُیَیّ بن عبد اللہ نے مجھے ابو عبد الرحمٰن الحُبُلی سے حدیث بیان کی ، انھوں نے عبد اللہ بن عمرو سے روایت کی کہ ایک شخص رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا اور آپ سے سب سے افضل عمل کے بارے میں دریافت کیا تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ” نماز” اس نے کہا پھر کیا ؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ” پھر نماز” اس نے کہا پھر کیا ؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ” پھر نماز” تین مرتبہ یہی فرمایا ، اس نے کہا پھر کیا ؟ تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ” پھر اللہ کی راہ میں جہاد کرنا ” اس نے کہا میرے ماں باپ ہیں تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ” میں تمہیں تمہارے ماں باپ کے ساتھ حسن سلوک کرنے کا حکم دیتا ہوں ” اس نے کہا اس ذات کی قسم جس نے آپ کو نبی بنا کر بھیجا ہے میں اللہ کی راہ میں جہاد کروں گا اور ان کو چھوڑ دوں گا تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ” تم خوب جانتے ہو ”۔
Huayy bin Abdullah ne mujhe Abu Abdur Rahman al-Hubli se hadees bayaan ki, unhon ne Abdullah bin Amr se riwayat ki keh ek shakhs Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ki khidmat mein hazir hua aur aap se sab se afzal amal ke baare mein daryaft kiya to Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya "namaz". Us ne kaha phir kya? Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya "phir namaz". Us ne kaha phir kya? Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya "phir namaz". Teen martaba yahi farmaya, us ne kaha phir kya? To aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya "phir Allah ki raah mein jihad karna". Us ne kaha mere maa baap hain to Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya "main tumhen tumhare maa baap ke saath hasan suluk karne ka hukum deta hun". Us ne kaha is zaat ki qasam jis ne aap ko nabi bana kar bheja hai main Allah ki raah mein jihad karunga aur un ko chhod dunga to Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya "tum khoob jaante ho".
Jabir ibn Abdullah narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: “O Ka’b ibn ‘Ujrah! I seek refuge in Allah for you from the leadership of the foolish. There will be rulers, whoever enters upon them and supports their oppression and affirms their falsehood, then he is not from me and I am not from him, and he will not drink from my Lake. And whoever does not enter upon them, and does not support their oppression, and does not affirm their falsehood, then he is from me and I am from him, and he will drink from my Lake. O Ka’b ibn ‘Ujrah! Prayer is a sacrifice, fasting is a shield, and charity extinguishes sins as water extinguishes fire. And the people are going out, so there is one who sells his soul and frees it, and one who destroys it. O Ka’b ibn ‘Ujrah! Indeed, no flesh that grows from ill-gotten wealth will enter Paradise.”
"حضرت کعب بن عجرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: اے کعب بن عجرہ! میں تمہارے لئے بیوقوفوں کی قیادت سے اللہ کی پناہ مانگتا ہوں، ایسے لوگ حکومت کریں گے کہ جو ان کے پاس جائے گا اور ان کے ظلم میں ان کی حمایت کرے گا اور ان کی باطل باتوں کی تصدیق کرے گا تو وہ مجھ سے نہیں ہے اور میں اس سے نہیں ہوں اور وہ میرے حوض سے نہیں پئے گا۔ اور جو ان کے پاس نہ جائے اور ان کے ظلم میں ان کی حمایت نہ کرے اور ان کی باطل باتوں کی تصدیق نہ کرے تو وہ مجھ سے ہے اور میں اس سے ہوں اور وہ میرے حوض سے پئے گا۔ اے کعب بن عجرہ! نماز قربانی ہے، روزہ ڈھال ہے، اور صدقہ گناہوں کو اس طرح بجھا دیتا ہے جیسے پانی آگ کو بجھا دیتا ہے۔ اور لوگ نکل رہے ہیں تو کوئی اپنی جان بیچ کر آزاد کروا لیتا ہے اور کوئی اسے برباد کر دیتا ہے۔ اے کعب بن عجرہ! یقیناً حرام مال سے پلنے والا گوشت جنت میں داخل نہیں ہوگا۔"
Hazrat Kaab bin Ujra Radi Allaho Anho se riwayat hai keh Nabi SAW ne farmaya: Aye Kaab bin Ujra! Main tumhare liye bewakoofon ki qayadat se Allah ki panaah mangta hon, aise log hukoomat karenge keh jo unke paas jayega aur unke zulm mein unki himayat karega aur unki baatil baaton ki tasdeeq karega to woh mujhse nahi hai aur main usse nahi hon aur woh mere howz se nahi piyega. Aur jo unke paas na jaye aur unke zulm mein unki himayat na kare aur unki baatil baaton ki tasdeeq na kare to woh mujhse hai aur main usse hon aur woh mere howz se piyega. Aye Kaab bin Ujra! Namaz qurbani hai, roza dhaal hai, aur sadqah gunaahon ko is tarah bujha deta hai jaise paani aag ko bujha deta hai. Aur log nikal rahe hain to koi apni jaan bech kar aazaad karwa leta hai aur koi use barbaad kar deta hai. Aye Kaab bin Ujra! Yaqeenan haraam maal se palne wala gosht jannat mein dakhil nahi hoga.
Abu Suhail's father narrated that Talha ibn Ubaydullah said: A man from the people of Najd with dishevelled hair came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. The sound of his voice was audible, but his words were not understandable. When he came near to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he was asking about Islam. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “(You have to perform) five prayers during the day and night.” The man asked, “Is there anything else besides them?” The Prophet said, “No, but you can pray Nawafil (voluntary prayers) if you wish.” The man asked (again), and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “(You have to observe) fast during the month of Ramadan.” The man asked, “Is there anything else besides it?” The Prophet ﷺ said, “No, but you can fast (voluntarily) if you wish.” The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then mentioned Zakat. The man asked, “Is there anything else besides it?” The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “No, but you can give Sadaqa (voluntary charity) if you wish.” Then the man left and he was saying, “By Allah! I will neither do more than this nor will I decrease anything therefrom.” The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “He will be successful if he is truthful.”
ابو سہیل کے والد رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ طلحہ بن عبیداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ نجد کا ایک شخص سر کے بال بکھرے ہوئے رسول اللہ ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا، اس کی آواز تو سنائی دے رہی تھی لیکن اس کی بات سمجھ میں نہیں آرہی تھی، پھر جب وہ نزدیک آیا تو وہ اسلام کے بارے میں پوچھ رہا تھا، رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: پانچ نمازیں دن رات میں۔ اس نے کہا: کیا ان کے علاوہ کچھ اور بھی ہے؟ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: نہیں، ہاں نوافل اگر تم چاہو۔ اس نے پوچھا تو آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: رمضان کے روزے۔ اس نے کہا: کیا ان کے علاوہ اور کچھ ہے؟ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: نہیں، ہاں نوافل اگر تم چاہو، پھر آپ ﷺ نے زکوٰۃ کا ذکر فرمایا، اس نے کہا: کیا ان کے علاوہ کچھ ہے؟ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: نہیں، ہاں صدقہ اگر تم چاہو۔ پھر وہ شخص چلا گیا اور کہہ رہا تھا کہ اللہ کی قسم! نہ تو میں ان سے زیادہ کروں گا اور نہ ہی ان میں کمی کروں گا۔ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: اگر یہ سچا ہے تو یہ کامیاب ہو جائے گا۔
Abu Sohail ke walid razi Allah anhu ne bayan kya ke Talha bin Ubaidullah razi Allah anhu ne kaha ke Najd ka ek shakhs sar ke baal bikhre hue Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ki khidmat mein hazir hua, uski aawaz to sunai de rahi thi lekin uski baat samajh mein nahi aa rahi thi, phir jab wo nazdeek aaya to wo Islam ke baare mein puchh raha tha, Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: Panch namazain din raat mein. Usne kaha: Kya in ke ilawa kuchh aur bhi hai? Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: Nahin, haan nawafil agar tum chaho. Usne puchha to Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: Ramzan ke roze. Usne kaha: Kya in ke ilawa aur kuchh hai? Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: Nahin, haan nawafil agar tum chaho, phir Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne zakat ka zikr farmaya, usne kaha: Kya in ke ilawa kuchh hai? Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: Nahin, haan sadqa agar tum chaho. Phir wo shakhs chala gaya aur keh raha tha ke Allah ki qasam! Na to main in se ziada karoon ga aur na hi in mein kami karoon ga. Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: Agar ye sacha hai to ye kaamyab ho jaye ga.
Jabir reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "The parable of the five prayers is like a flowing river at the door of one of you in which he bathes five times a day."
جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا "پانچ نمازوں کی مثال ایسے ہے جیسے تم میں سے کسی کے دروازے پر ایک جاری نہر ہو جس میں وہ دن میں پانچ مرتبہ غسل کرتا ہے"۔
Jibir razi Allahu anhu se riwayat hai keh Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya "Panch namaazon ki misaal aise hai jaise tum mein se kisi ke darwaze par ek jari nahar ho jis mein wo din mein panch martaba ghusul karta hai".
Abu Huraira reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Do you not see that if there were a river at the door of one of you and he bathed in it five times a day, would anything of his dirt remain?" They said, "Nothing of his dirt would remain." The Prophet said, "That is the example of the five prayers by which Allah erases sins."
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کیا تم نہیں دیکھتے کہ اگر تم میں سے کسی کے دروازے پر ایک نہر ہو اور وہ اس میں دن میں پانچ مرتبہ نہائے تو کیا اس پر اس کی کوئی گندگی باقی رہ جائے گی صحابہ نے عرض کی کہ اس پر اس کی کوئی گندگی باقی نہ رہے گی آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا یہ پانچ نمازوں کی مثال ہے جس کے ذریعہ اللہ تعالیٰ گناہوں کو مٹا دیتا ہے
Hazrat Abu Hurairah razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya kya tum nahin dekhte ki agar tum mein se kisi ke darwaze par ek nahar ho aur wo us mein din mein panch martaba nahaye to kya us par us ki koi gandagi baqi reh jayegi Sahaba ne arz ki ki us par us ki koi gandagi baqi na rahegi Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya yeh panch namaazon ki misaal hai jis ke zariye Allah Ta'ala gunahon ko mita deta hai
Wathila bin Al-Asqa' reported: A man came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and said: "O Messenger of Allah! I have committed a Hadd (sin punishable by Islamic law), so carry out the punishment on me." The Prophet (ﷺ) turned away from him. He repeated his request but the Prophet (ﷺ) again turned away. Then the time of the prayer became due and when he (the Prophet) had offered the prayer, (the man) said: "O Messenger of Allah I have committed a Hadd, so carry out the punishment on me." The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Did you not observe ablution after committing the sin and then offered prayer with us?" He said: "Yes." He (the Holy Prophet) said: "Go, Allah has pardoned you."
وثیلہ بن الاسقع رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ ایک شخص رسول اللہ ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا اور عرض کی: اللہ کے رسول! میں نے ایک حد کی خلاف ورزی کی ہے، لہٰذا مجھ پر حد قائم فرما دیجیے۔ آپ ﷺ نے اس سے منہ موڑ لی۔ اس نے اپنی درخواست دہرائی لیکن آپ ﷺ نے پھر منہ موڑ لی۔ پھر نماز کا وقت ہوگیا اور جب آپ ﷺ نے نماز پڑھ لی تو اس شخص نے کہا: اللہ کے رسول! میں نے ایک حد کی خلاف ورزی کی ہے، لہٰذا مجھ پر حد قائم فرما دیجیے۔ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: کیا تم نے گناہ کرنے کے بعد وضو نہیں کیا اور ہمارے ساتھ نماز ادا نہیں کی؟ اس نے کہا: کیوں نہیں۔ تو آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: جاؤ، اللہ نے تمہیں معاف کر دیا۔
Wasila bin al-Asqa Radi Allahu anhu bayan karte hain keh aik shakhs Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ki khidmat mein hazir hua aur عرض ki: Allah ke Rasul! मैंने aik hadd ki khilaf warzi ki hai, lihaza mujh per hadd qaim farma dijiye. Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne us se munh mod liya. Us ne apni darkhwast dohrai lekin Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne phir munh mod liya. Phir namaz ka waqt hogaya aur jab Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne namaz parh li to us shakhs ne kaha: Allah ke Rasul! मैंने aik hadd ki khilaf warzi ki hai, lihaza mujh per hadd qaim farma dijiye. Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: Kya tum ne gunah karne ke bad wazu nahin kiya aur humare sath namaz ada nahin ki? Us ne kaha: Kyun nahin. To Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: Jao, Allah ne tumhein maaf kar diya.
Ibn Mas'ud reported: A man came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: I met a woman in the garden and I did everything with her except that I did not have sexual intercourse with her. So judge me as you wish. He (the Prophet) did not say anything to him. Then he called him and recited this verse to him: "Establish prayer at the declining of the sun [from its meridian] until the darkness of the night and [also] the Qur'an of dawn. Indeed, the recitation of dawn is ever witnessed." (11:114)
ابن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک آدمی نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آیا اور کہنے لگا: میں باغ میں ایک عورت سے ملا اور میں نے اس کے ساتھ سب کچھ کیا سوائے اس کے کہ میں نے اس کے ساتھ ہمبستری نہیں کی۔ تو آپ جیسے چاہیں مجھے سزا دیں۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس سے کچھ نہیں کہا۔ پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اسے بلایا اور یہ آیت اسے سنائی: ''نماز قائم کرو زوال کے وقت سے (جب سورج ڈھلنے لگے) رات کے اندھیرے تک اور قرآن فجر (کی نماز) (بھی پڑھو) ۔ بیشک قرآن فجر (کی نماز پڑھنے پر) حاضر رہتے ہیں۔ '' (17:114)
Ibn Masood Raziallahu Anhu kehte hain ke ek aadmi Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke paas aaya aur kehne laga: mein bagh mein ek aurat se mila aur maine uske saath sab kuch kiya siwaye iske ke maine uske saath humbistari nahin ki. To aap jaise chahein mujhe saza dein. Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne usse kuchh nahin kaha. Phir Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne use bulaya aur yeh ayat use sunayi: ''Namaz qayam karo zawaal ke waqt se (jab sooraj dhalne lage) raat ke andhere tak aur Quran fajr (ki namaz) (bhi parho). Beshak Quran fajr (ki namaz parhne par) haazir rehte hain. '' (17:114)
Ibn Mas'ud reported that a man came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and mentioned that he had been intimate with a woman before marriage, as if he was asking about its expiation. So Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, revealed: "Establish prayer at the declining of the sun [from its meridian] until the darkness of the night and [also] the Qur'an of dawn. Indeed, the recitation of dawn is ever witnessed. And from [part of] the night, pray with it as additional [worship] for you; it is expected that your Lord will resurrect you to a praised station. " (17:78-79) The man said, "Is this for me?" He (ﷺ) said, "It is for whoever acts upon it from my Ummah."
حضرت ابن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں ایک شخص حاضر ہوا اور اس نے آپ ﷺ سے یہ ذکر کیا کہ اس نے نکاح سے قبل ایک عورت سے مباشرت کی ہے ۔ گویا وہ اس کا کفارہ پوچھ رہا تھا ۔ تو اللہ تعالیٰ نے یہ آیات نازل فرمائیں اِقِمِ الصَّلٰوۃَ لِدُلُوۡکِ الشَّمۡسِ اِلٰی غَسَقِ الَّیۡلِ وَقُرۡاٰنَ الۡفَجۡرِ ؕ اِنَّ قُرۡاٰنَ الۡفَجۡرِ کَانَ مَشۡہُوۡدًا وَمِنَ الَّیۡلِ فَتَہَجَّدۡ بِہٖ نَافِلَۃً لَّکَ عَسٰۤی اَنۡ یَّبۡعَثَکَ رَبُّکَ مَقَامًا مَّحۡمُوۡدًا سورۃ بنی اسرائیل:78-79 اس شخص نے پوچھا کیا یہ ( حکم ) میرے لیے ہے ؟ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا یہ ( حکم ) میری امت کے ہر اس شخص کے لیے ہے جو اس پر عمل کرے گا ۔
Hazrat Ibn Masood razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai ke Nabi Kareem sallallahu alaihi wasallam ki khidmat mein ek shaks hazir hua aur usne aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam se yeh zikar kiya ke usne nikah se qabl ek aurat se mubashrat ki hai. Goya woh iska kaffara pooch raha tha. To Allah ta'ala ne yeh ayat nazil farmaein "Iqimissalata liduloki shamsi ila ghasaqil laili wa quranal fajr. Inna quranal fajri kana mashhooda. Wa minal laili fatahajjad bihi naflatan laka 'asa an yab'asaka rabbaka maqamam mahmuda." Surah Bani Israeel:78-79 Iss shaks ne poocha kya yeh (hukm) mere liye hai? Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya "Yeh (hukm) meri ummat ke har uss shaks ke liye hai jo is par amal karega."
'Abdullah said: A man said: "O Messenger of Allah, I met a woman in the garden, so I hugged her and kissed her and touched her and did everything to her except that I did not have intercourse with her." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ remained silent. So Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, revealed: {Establish prayer at the decline of the sun [from its meridian] until the darkness of the night and [also] the Qur'an of dawn. Indeed, the recitation of dawn is ever witnessed. } He said: So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ called him and recited it to him. So 'Umar said: "O Messenger of Allah, is it particular to him?" The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Rather, [it is] for all the people."
عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک آدمی نے کہا: اللہ کے رسول! میں ایک عورت سے باغ میں ملا تو میں نے اسے گلے لگایا اور اسے چوما اور اسے چھوا اور میں نے اس کے ساتھ سب کچھ کیا سوائے اس کے کہ میں نے اس سے جماع نہیں کیا۔ رسول اللہ ﷺ خاموش رہے، یہاں تک کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے یہ آیت نازل فرمائی: {اَقِمِ الصَّلٰوةَ لِدُلُوكِ الشَّمْسِ اِلٰى غَسَقِ الَّيْلِ وَقُرْاٰنَ الْفَجْرِ اِنَّ قُرْاٰنَ الْفَجْرِ كَانَ مَشْهُودًا} ”تم سورج کے ڈھلنے سے لے کر رات کی تاریکی چھا جانے تک نماز قائم کرو اور نمازِ فجر (بھی) کیونکہ نمازِ فجر (فرشتوں کی) موجودگی میں ہوتی ہے۔“ وہ کہتے ہیں کہ پھر رسول اللہ ﷺ نے اسے بلایا اور اس آیت کی تلاوت کی، تو عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: اللہ کے رسول! کیا یہ صرف اسی کے لیے ہے؟ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: بلکہ یہ سب لوگوں کے لیے ہے۔
Abdullah razi Allah anhu kahte hain ki ek aadmi ne kaha: Allah ke Rasool! main ek aurat se bagh mein mila to main ne use gale lagaya aur use chooma aur use chhua aur main ne uske sath sab kuchh kiya siwaye iske ki main ne us se jima'i nahin ki. Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam khamosh rahe, yahan tak ki Allah ta'ala ne yeh aayat nazil farmai: {Aqimis-salata liduloki-shams ila ghasaqil-laili wa qur'anil-fajr inna qur'anil-fajri kana mash-hooda} "Tum sooraj ke dhalne se le kar raat ki tariki chha jane tak namaz qaim karo aur namaz-e-fajr (bhi) kyunki namaz-e-fajr (farishton ki) mojoodgi mein hoti hai." woh kahte hain ki phir Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne use bulaya aur is aayat ki tilawat ki, to Umar razi Allah anhu ne kaha: Allah ke Rasool! kya yeh sirf isi ke liye hai? Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: balki yeh sab logon ke liye hai.
Abu Rufayh narrated that he said to Ubadah ibn as-Samit, "O Abu al-Walid! There is a man from the Ansar, who has companions, who claims that Witr is obligatory." He said, "Abu Muhammad has lied. I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying: "Whoever offers the five prayers perfectly, having not omitted anything from their right, then for him is a covenant with Allah that He will not punish him. And whoever offers them, having omitted something from their right, then there is no covenant for him with Allah. If He wills, He will have mercy on him, and if He wills, He will punish him."
ابو رفاعہ نے بیان کیا کہ انہوں نے عبادہ بن صامت سے کہا، "اے ابو الولی! انصار میں ایک شخص ہے، جس کے ساتھی ہیں، جو دعویٰ کرتا ہے کہ وتر واجب ہے۔" انہوں نے کہا، "ابو محمد نے جھوٹ بولا ہے۔ میں نے اللہ کے رسول (ﷺ) کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے: "جس نے پانچ نمازیں کامل ادا کیں، ان کے حق سے کچھ بھی کم نہیں کیا، تو اس کے لیے اللہ کے ساتھ عہد ہے کہ وہ اسے عذاب نہیں دے گا۔ اور جس نے انہیں ادا کیں، ان کے حق سے کچھ چھوڑ دیا، تو اس کے لیے اللہ کے ساتھ کوئی عہد نہیں ہے۔ اگر وہ چاہے تو اس پر رحم کرے گا، اور اگر وہ چاہے تو اسے عذاب دے گا۔"
Abu Rafa ne bayan kya ke unhon ne Ubadah bin Samit se kaha, "Ae Abul Wali! Ansar mein ek shakhs hai, jis ke sathi hain, jo dawa karta hai ke witr wajib hai." Unhon ne kaha, "Abu Muhammad ne jhoot bola hai. Main ne Allah ke Rasul (ﷺ) ko ye farmate huye suna hai: "Jis ne panch namazain kamil ada kein, un ke haq se kuchh bhi kam nahin kya, to us ke liye Allah ke sath ahd hai ke wo usay azab nahin dega. Aur jis ne unhen ada kein, un ke haq se kuchh chhor diya, to us ke liye Allah ke sath koi ahd nahin hai. Agar wo chahe to us par reham karega, aur agar wo chahe to usay azab dega."
Ibn Muhayriz reported: A man came to Ubadah ibn As-Samit and said: Abu Al-Walid, I heard Abu Muhammad Al-Ansari saying that Witr is obligatory. Ubadah said: Abu Muhammad lied. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: “Allah has enjoined five prayers upon His servants and whoever observes them regularly and perfectly without being negligent towards their right, then there is a promise from Allah that He will admit him to Paradise, and whoever does not observe them regularly and perfectly, being negligent towards their right, then there is no promise from Allah for him; if He wills, He will punish him and if He wills, He will forgive him.”
ابن محیریز رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ ایک شخص حضرت عبادہ بن صامت رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس آیا اور کہا کہ ابو الولید! میں نے ابو محمد انصاری رضی اللہ عنہ کو یہ کہتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ وتر فرض ہے۔ حضرت عبادہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ ابو محمد رضی اللہ عنہ جھوٹ بولتے ہیں، میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے اپنے بندوں پر پانچ نمازیں فرض کی ہیں، جس نے انہیں اچھی طرح سے ادا کیا اور ان کا حق ادا کیا، تو اللہ تعالیٰ کا اس پر وعدہ ہے کہ وہ اسے جنت میں داخل کرے گا اور جس نے انہیں اچھی طرح سے ادا نہیں کیا اور ان کا حق ادا نہیں کیا، تو اللہ تعالیٰ کا اس پر کوئی وعدہ نہیں، اگر وہ چاہے تو اسے عذاب دے اور اگر وہ چاہے تو اسے معاف کر دے۔
Ibn Muhairiz Razi Allah Anhu se riwayat hai ki ek shakhs Hazrat Ubadah bin Samit Razi Allah Anhu ke paas aaya aur kaha ki Abu Al Walid! Maine Abu Mohammad Ansari Razi Allah Anhu ko ye kehte hue suna hai ki Witr farz hai. Hazrat Ubadah Razi Allah Anhu ne kaha ki Abu Mohammad Razi Allah Anhu jhoot bolte hain, maine Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ko ye farmate hue suna hai ki Allah Ta'ala ne apne bandon par panch namazain farz ki hain, jisne unhen achhi tarah se ada kiya aur unka haq ada kiya, to Allah Ta'ala ka us par waada hai ki woh use Jannat mein daakhil karega aur jisne unhen achhi tarah se ada nahin kiya aur unka haq ada nahin kiya, to Allah Ta'ala ka us par koi waada nahin, agar woh chahe to use azab de aur agar woh chahe to use maaf kar de.
Abu Huraira reported that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "The five daily prayers and the Friday prayer to the Friday prayer are expiation for whatever sins have been committed in between as long as major sins are avoided."
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: پانچ وقت کی نمازیں اور جمعہ کی نماز اگلے جمعہ تک کے گناہوں کا کفارہ ہیں جب تک کہ کبیرہ گناہوں سے بچا جائے۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai keh Nabi Kareem sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: Panch waqt ki namazen aur Jumma ki namaz agle Jumma tak ke gunahon ka kaffara hain jab tak keh kabira gunahon se bacha jaye.
Abdullah ibn Umar said: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saw a young man praying, and he prolonged his prayer and was lengthy in it. He (the Prophet) said: "Who knows this (young man)?" A man said: "I." Abdullah said: "If I had known him, I would have ordered him to prolong the bowing and the prostration, for I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying: "When the slave stands up for prayer, his sins are brought and placed upon his head and shoulders; and whenever he bows down or prostrates himself, they fall away from him."
عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک جوان کو نماز پڑھتے دیکھا تو اس نے اپنی نماز لمبی کی اور اس میں بہت دیر لگائی آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے پوچھا اس جوان کو کون جانتا ہے؟ ایک آدمی نے کہا میں جانتا ہوں عبداللہ کہتے ہیں اگر میں اسے جانتا تو اس کو یہ حکم دیتا کہ رکوع اور سجدے کو لمبا کرے کیونکہ میں نے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ جب بندہ نماز کے لیے کھڑا ہوتا ہے تو اس کے گناہ اس کے سر اور شانوں پر ڈال دیے جاتے ہیں اور جب بھی وہ رکوع یا سجدہ کرتا ہے تو وہ اس سے گر جاتے ہیں۔
Abdullah bin Umar razi Allah unhuma kehte hain ke Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne ek jawan ko namaz parhte dekha to usne apni namaz lambi ki aur usme bahut der lagai aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne pucha is jawan ko kaun janta hai ek aadmi ne kaha main janta hun Abdullah kehte hain agar main use janta to usko ye hukum deta ke ruku aur sajday ko lamba kare kyunki maine Nabi sallallahu alaihi wasallam ko ye farmate hue suna hai ke jab banda namaz ke liye khara hota hai to uske gunah uske sar aur shanon par dal diye jate hain aur jab bhi woh ruku ya sajda karta hai to woh usse gir jate hain.
Ma'dan ibn Abi Talha al-Ya'muri said:
I met Thauban, the freed slave of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and I said to him, "Tell me a hadith that Allah might benefit me with." He said, "Upon you be prostration, for I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'There is no slave who prostrates to Allah, except that Allah raises him a degree thereby and removes from him a sin.'"
"حضرت معاذ بن ابی طلحہ الیمانی رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ میں حضرت ثوبان رضی اللہ عنہ، رسول اللہ ﷺ کے آزاد کردہ غلام، سے ملا اور ان سے عرض کیا: مجھے ایسی حدیث سنائیں جس سے اللہ تعالیٰ مجھے نفع دے۔ انہوں نے کہا: تم پر سجدہ واجب ہے، کیونکہ میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ: 'ایسا کوئی بندہ نہیں جو اللہ کے لیے سجدہ کرتا ہے مگر یہ کہ اللہ تعالیٰ اس کے اس سجدے کے بدلے اس کا ایک درجہ بلند فرماتا ہے اور اس سے ایک گناہ معاف فرماتا ہے۔"
Hazrat Muaz bin Abi Talha Alyamani RA bayan karte hain keh main Hazrat Sauban RA, Rasulullah SAW ke azad kardah gulam, se mila aur unse arz kiya: mujhe aisi hadees sunaen jis se Allah Taala mujhe nafa de. Unhon ne kaha: tum par sajdah wajib hai, kyunkeh mainne Rasulullah SAW ko farmate hue suna hai keh: 'Aisa koi banda nahin jo Allah ke liye sajdah karta hai magar yeh keh Allah Taala uske is sajde ke badle uska ek darjah buland farmata hai aur us se ek gunah maaf farmata hai.
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Angels descend upon you in succession by night and by day, and they all assemble at the dawn prayer and the afternoon prayer. Then those who stayed among you overnight ascend, and their Lord, who is most knowing of them, asks, ‘How did you leave My servants?’ They say, ‘We left them praying and we came to them praying.’”
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا، فرشتے رات اور دن تم پر اترتے رہتے ہیں اور فجر اور عصر کی نماز میں جمع ہوتے ہیں۔ پھر جو فرشتے رات تمہارے پاس ٹھہرے ہوتے ہیں وہ اوپر جاتے ہیں اور ان کا رب جو انہیں خوب جانتا ہے پوچھتا ہے کہ میرے بندوں کو کس حال میں چھوڑ کر آئے ہو؟ وہ کہتے ہیں ہم انہیں نماز پڑھتے ہوئے چھوڑ کر آئے ہیں اور ان کے پاس نماز پڑھتے ہوئے آئے تھے۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya, farishtay raat aur din tum par utartay rehtay hain aur fajar aur asr ki namaz mein jama hotay hain. Phir jo farishtay raat tumharay pass thehray hotay hain woh upar jatay hain aur un ka Rabb jo unhen khoob janta hai poochta hai ki mere bandon ko kis haal mein chhor kar aaye ho? Woh kehtay hain hum unhen namaz parhtay huay chhor kar aaye hain aur un ke pass namaz parhtay huay aaye thay.
Abu Huraira reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Angels come down to you in succession by night and by day, and they all assemble at the prayer of dawn and the prayer of afternoon. Then those who have spent the night among you ascend, and He asks them, though He is most knowing, 'How did you leave My servants?' They say, 'We left them while they were praying, and we came to them while they were praying.'"
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا، "فرشتے رات اور دن تمہارے پاس اترتے رہتے ہیں اور فجر اور عصر کی نماز میں سب جمع ہوتے ہیں۔ پھر جو فرشتے تمہارے درمیان رات گزارتے ہیں وہ اوپر جاتے ہیں اور اللہ تعالیٰ ان سے پوچھتا ہے حالانکہ وہ سب سے زیادہ جاننے والا ہے کہ 'تم نے میرے بندوں کو کیسی حالت میں چھوڑا؟' وہ کہتے ہیں، 'ہم نے انہیں نماز پڑھتے ہوئے چھوڑا اور ہم ان کے پاس آئے تو وہ نماز پڑھ رہے تھے۔'"
Hazrat Abu Huraira razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai keh Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya, "Farishtay raat aur din tumharay pass utrtay rehtay hain aur fajar aur asr ki namaz mein sab jama hotay hain. Phir jo farishtay tumharay darmiyan raat guzartay hain woh upar jatay hain aur Allah ta'ala un se poochta hai halankay woh sab se ziada jan-nay wala hai keh 'Tum ne mere bandon ko कैसी halat mein chora?' Woh kehtay hain, 'Hum ne unhen namaz parhte hue chora aur hum un ke pass aaye to woh namaz parh rahay thay.'"
Abu Bakr's father narrated from his father that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "No one who prays before the sun rises and before it sets will enter the Fire."
حضرت ابو بکر صدیق کے والد حضرت ابو قحافہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ "جو شخص سورج نکلنے سے پہلے اور سورج غروب ہونے سے پہلے نماز پڑھے گا وہ آگ میں داخل نہیں ہوگا"۔
Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq ke walid Hazrat Abu Quhafah bayan karte hain keh Nabi Kareem ne farmaya keh "Jo shakhs sooraj nikalne se pehle aur sooraj ghuroob hone se pehle namaz parhe ga woh aag mein dakhil nahi hoga".
Abu Bakr reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Whoever prays the two cool prayers will enter Paradise."
حضرت ابو بکر صدیق رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: "جو شخص دو ٹھنڈی نمازوں کی پابندی کرے گا وہ جنت میں داخل ہوگا"۔
Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai keh Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Jo shakhs do thhandi namaazon ki pabandi kare ga woh jannat mein daakhil hoga".
Abu Bakr ibn ‘Amr ibn Ruwaybah reported from his father that he heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying: “No one who prays before the sun rises and before it sets will enter the Hellfire.” A man from the people asked, “Did you hear this Hadith from the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)?” He said, “Yes.”
ابو بکر بن عمرو بن رويبہ اپنے والد سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ انہوں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا: "جو شخص سورج نکلنے سے پہلے اور سورج غروب ہونے سے پہلے نماز پڑھتا ہے وہ جہنم کی آگ میں داخل نہیں ہوگا"۔ لوگوں میں سے ایک شخص نے پوچھا: "کیا آپ نے یہ حدیث رسول اللہ ﷺ سے سنی ہے؟"۔ انہوں نے کہا: "ہاں"۔
Abu Bakr bin Amro bin Royeeba apne walid se riwayat karte hain ki unhon ne Rasool Allah SAW ko yeh farmate huye suna: "Jo shakhs suraj nikalne se pehle aur suraj ghuroob hone se pehle namaz parhta hai woh jahannam ki aag mein dakhil nahin hoga". Logon mein se ek shakhs ne poocha: "Kya aap ne yeh hadees Rasool Allah SAW se suni hai?". Unhon ne kaha: "Haan".
Fadala ibn 'Abdillah al-Laythi said: I went to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and I gave Salam and he taught me the five prayers at their times. I said to him: These are hours in which I am busy, so assign me something comprehensive. He said: If you are busy, then do not be busy from the two cool times. I said: What are the two cool times? He said: The morning prayer and the afternoon prayer.
فضالہ بن عبد اللہ لیثی بیان کرتے ہیں کہ میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا اور آپؐ کو سلام کیا تو آپؐ نے مجھے پانچوں نمازوں کی وقت پر ادا کرنے کی تلقین فرمائی۔ میں نے عرض کی: یہ ایسے اوقات ہیں جن میں میں مصروف رہتا ہوں، تو مجھے کوئی جامع چیز بتا دیں۔ آپؐ نے فرمایا: اگر تم مصروف رہتے ہو تو پھر دونوں ٹھنڈکوں سے غافل نہ رہنا۔ میں نے پوچھا: دونوں ٹھنڈکیں کیا ہیں؟ آپؐ نے فرمایا: فجر کی نماز اور عصر کی نماز۔
Fazila bin Abdullah Laithi bayan karte hain ke main Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ki khidmat mein hazir hua aur aap ko salam kiya to aap ne mujhe panchon namazon ki waqt per ada karne ki talqeen farmaai. Maine arz ki: yeh aise auqat hain jin mein main masroof rehta hun, to mujhe koi jami cheez bata dein. Aap ne farmaya: agar tum masroof rehte ho to phir donon thandkon se ghafil na rehna. Maine poocha: donon thandkiyan kya hain? Aap ne farmaya: Fajar ki namaz aur Asr ki namaz.
Abdullah ibn Fadalah, from his father, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught us, and among his teachings he said: “Preserve the prayers, and preserve the two prayers of ‘Asr.” I said: “O Messenger of Allah, what are the two prayers of ‘Asr?” He said: “The prayer before the rising of the sun (Fajr) and the prayer before its setting (Asr).”
عبداللہ بن فضالہ اپنے والد سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ہمیں تعلیم دی اور آپ ﷺ کی تعلیمات میں سے یہ بھی تھا کہ “نمازوں کی پابندی کرو اور خاص طور پر عصر کی دو نمازوں کی حفاظت کرو”۔ میں نے عرض کیا “یا رسول اللہ ﷺ! عصر کی دو نمازیں کونسی ہیں؟” آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا “سورج نکلنے سے پہلے والی نماز (فجر) اور سورج غروب ہونے سے پہلے والی نماز (عصر)”۔
Abdullah bin Fazala apne walid se riwayat karte hain ke Rasool Allah SAW ne humain taleem di aur aap SAW ki taleemat mein se ye bhi tha ke “Namazon ki pabandi karo aur khas taur par Asar ki do namaazon ki hifazat karo”. Maine arz kiya “Ya Rasool Allah SAW! Asar ki do namazain kaunsi hain?” Aap SAW ne farmaya “Suraj nikalne se pehle wali namaz (Fajar) aur suraj ghuroob hone se pehle wali namaz (Asar)”.
Jundub narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whoever prays the Fajr prayer, he is under the protection of Allah. So beware, O son of Adam, that Allah should call you to account for anything from His protection."
حضرت جندبؓ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: "جو شخص نمازِ فجر ادا کرتا ہے وہ اللہ کی حفاظت میں داخل ہوجاتا ہے ۔ لہٰذا اے ابنِ آدم! خبردار! اللہ تعالیٰ تمہیں اپنی پناہ سے کسی چیز کا مت پوچھے"
Hazrat Jundab بیان کرتے ہیں کہ Rasul Allah نے فرمایا جو شخص نماز فجر ادا کرتا ہے وہ Allah کی حفاظت میں داخل ہوجاتا ہے لہذا اے ابن آدم خبردار Allah Taala تمہیں اپنی پناہ سے کسی چیز کا مت پوچھے
Abu Basrah al-Ghifari reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) led us in the ‘Asr prayer and said, “This prayer was enjoined on those before you but they delayed it and abandoned it. Whoever prays it, his reward will be doubled. And there is no prayer after it until the witness is seen.” The witness is the star.
ابو بصرة غفاری رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہمیں عصر کی نماز پڑھائی اور فرمایا: "یہ نماز تم سے پہلے والوں پر بھی فرض کی گئی تھی لیکن انہوں نے اسے مؤخر کیا اور چھوڑ دیا۔ جو اسے پڑھے گا اس کا اجر دگنا ہوگا اور اس کے بعد کوئی نماز نہیں جب تک کہ گواہ نہ دیکھ لیا جائے"۔ گواہ سے مراد ستارہ ہے۔
Abu Basra Ghaffari Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai keh Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne humein Asr ki namaz parhayi aur farmaya: "Yeh namaz tum se pehle walon per bhi farz ki gayi thi lekin unhon ne ise moakhar kya aur chhor diya. Jo ise parhe ga uska ajr dugna hoga aur uske baad koi namaz nahi jab tak keh gawah na dekh liya jaye". Gawah se murad sitara hai.
Ali ibn Abi Talib narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said on the day of the Trench: "Those who were kept from the middle prayer, may Allah fill their houses and their bellies with fire,” and it (the middle prayer) is `Asr.
حضرت علی ابن ابی طالبؓ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے غزوہ خندق کے موقع پر فرمایا "جن لوگوں کو درمیانی نماز سے روکا گیا اللہ تعالیٰ ان کے گھر اور ان کے پیٹ آگ سے بھر دے" اور وہ (درمیانی نماز ) عصر کی نماز ہے۔
Hazrat Ali ibne Abi Talib bayan karte hain ke Nabi Kareem ne Ghazwa Khandaq ke mauqe par farmaya "Jin logon ko darmiyani namaz se roka gaya Allah Ta'ala un ke ghar aur un ke pait aag se bhar de" aur wo (darmiyani namaz) Asr ki namaz hai.
Abu Huraira narrated that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Whoever believes in Allah and His Messenger, establishes prayer and fasts Ramadan, then it is a right upon Allah to admit him into Paradise, whether he emigrates in the cause of Allah or remains in the land where he was born."
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "جو شخص اللہ اور اس کے رسول پر ایمان لائے، نماز قائم کرے، اور رمضان کے روزے رکھے تو اللہ کے ذمہ اس کا داخلہ جنت میں لازم ہے خواہ وہ اللہ کی راہ میں ہجرت کرے یا جس زمین میں پیدا ہوا ہے اسی میں رہے۔"
Hazrat Abu Hurairah Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Jo shakhs Allah aur uske Rasul par iman laye, namaz qaim kare, aur Ramadan ke roze rakhe to Allah ke zimme us ka dakhila Jannat mein lazim hai chahe wo Allah ki raah mein hijrat kare ya jis zameen mein paida hua hai usi mein rahe."
Suhayb the client of the 'Utwaris reported: I heard Abu Hurayrah and Abu Sa'id al-Khudri reporting from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that he sat down on the pulpit and then said, "By Him in Whose Hand is my soul", three times. Then he kept quiet, and every one of us bowed down weeping for fear of the departure of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Then he said, "There is no servant who observes the five prayers and fasts during Ramadan and avoids the seven heinous sins, but the eight gates of Paradise will be opened for him on the Day of Resurrection, so much so that (the gates) will clap (to welcome him)." Then he recited: {If you avoid the great sins which you are forbidden to commit, We shall remit from you your (small) sins}.
صحابہ کرامؓ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ منبر پر تشریف فرما ہوئے اور آپ ﷺ نے تین مرتبہ فرمایا ”اس ذات کی قسم جس کے ہاتھ میں میری جان ہے“ پھر آپ ﷺ خاموش ہوگئے اور ہم میں سے ہر ایک یہ سمجھ کر کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ کی وفات کا وقت قریب آگیا ہے روتے ہوئے سجدہ ریز ہوگیا۔ پھر آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا ”جو شخص پانچوں نمازیں پڑھے، رمضان کے روزے رکھے اور سات مہلکات سے بچے تو قیامت کے دن اس کے لیے جنت کے آٹھوں دروازے کھول دیے جائیں گے یہاں تک کہ (دروازے) (اس کے استقبال کے لیے) تالیاں بجائیں گے۔ پھر آپ ﷺ نے یہ آیت پڑھی: {اگر تم ان بڑے گناہوں سے بچتے رہو گے جن کی تمہیں ممانعت کی گئی ہے تو ہم تمہارے (چھوٹے) گناہ معاف فرما دیں گے}۔
Sahaba kiram se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah mimbar par tashrif farma hue aur aap ne teen martaba farmaya "Iss zaat ki qasam jis ke hath mein meri jaan hai" phir aap khamosh ho gaye aur hum mein se har ek ye samajh kar ki Rasul Allah ki wafat ka waqt qareeb aa gaya hai rote hue sajde reez ho gaya. Phir aap ne farmaya "Jo shakhs panchon namazain parhe, Ramzan ke roze rakhe aur saat muhlikat se bache to qayamat ke din us ke liye jannat ke aathon darwaze khol diye jayenge yahan tak ki (darwaze) (us ke istaqbal ke liye) taliyan bajayen ge. Phir aap ne ye ayat padhi: {Agar tum in bade gunahon se bachte raho ge jin ki tumhen mamanat ki gayi hai to hum tumhare (chote) gunah maaf farma denge}.
Abu Sa'id al-Khudri reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "The prayer of a man in congregation is twenty-five degrees better than his prayer alone. If he prays in an open field and perfects its ablution, bowing and prostration, his prayer will be written as fifty degrees."
حضرت ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا، ”مسلمان کی جماعت کے ساتھ نماز، اس کی تنہا نماز سے پچیس درجے افضل ہے۔ اور اگر وہ کھلے میدان میں نماز پڑھے اور اس کے وضو، رکوع اور سجدہ کو پورا کرے تو اس کی نماز پچاس درجے لکھ دی جائے گی۔“
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri raziallahu anhu se riwayat hai keh Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya, ”Musalman ki jamaat ke saath namaz, us ki tanha namaz se pachis darje afzal hai. Aur agar woh khule maidan mein namaz parhe aur us ke wazu, ruku aur sijda ko poora kare to us ki namaz pachas darje likh di jaye gi.“
Anas narrated that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) delayed the 'Isha' prayer till it was (very late) in the night. Then he came out and said, "The people have prayed and slept, but you will keep on praying as long as you wait (for it)." Anas added, "I think I can still see the glitter of the ring on his finger."
حضرت انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم عشاء کی نماز (کافی) رات گزرنے تک مؤخر فرماتے رہے، یہاں تک کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم باہر تشریف لائے اور فرمایا: ”لوگ نماز پڑھ کر سو گئے، اور تم اس وقت تک نماز پڑھتے رہو گے جب تک تم اس کا انتظار کرتے رہو گے“۔ حضرت انس رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ مجھے گویا اب بھی آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی انگوٹھی کی چمک دکھائی دے رہی ہے۔
Hazrat Anas Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai keh Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam Isha ki namaz (kafi) raat guzarne tak moakhir farmate rahe, yahan tak keh Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam bahar tashreef laaye aur farmaya: "Log namaz parh kar so gaye, aur tum us waqt tak namaz parhte raho ge jab tak tum iska intezar karte raho ge". Hazrat Anas Radi Allahu Anhu kehte hain keh mujhe goya ab bhi Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ki ungoothi ki chamak dikhayi de rahi hai.
Yahya related to us from Sahl ibn Sa'd As-Sa'idi who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: "Whoever is in the mosque waiting for the prayer, he is in prayer."
یحییٰ نے ہمیں سہل بن سعد ساعدی سے روایت کی، کہا کہ میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا: "جو شخص مسجد میں نماز کا انتظار کر رہا ہوتا ہے، وہ نماز میں ہوتا ہے۔"
Yahya ne humein Sahl bin Saad Saidi se riwayat ki, kaha ki maine Rasul Allah SAW ko farmate hue suna: "Jo shakhs masjid mein namaz ka intezar kar raha hota hai, woh namaz mein hota hai."
Yahya bin Maymun, the judge of Egypt, told me: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whoever awaits the prayer, he is in prayer as long as he does not commit a Hadath."
یحییٰ بن میمون جو مصر کے قاضی تھے، نے مجھ سے بیان کیا کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”جس نے نماز کا انتظار کیا اس کا شمار نماز ہی میں ہے جب تک اسے کوئی حدث پیش نہ آئے“۔
Yahya bin Maimoon jo Misr ke qazi thay, ne mujh se bayan kiya ki Rasool Allah ﷺ ne farmaya: ”Jis ne namaz ka intezar kiya us ka shumar namaz hi mein hai jab tak use koi hadath pesh na aaye“
Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "The angels send blessings upon one of you as long as he remains in his prayer place where he prayed, so long as he does not lose his state of purity, saying, 'O Allah, forgive him, O Allah, have mercy upon him.'"
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا، فرشتے تم میں سے کسی پر اس وقت تک رحمت نازل کرتے رہتے ہیں جب تک وہ اپنی نماز کی جگہ پر بیٹھا رہتا ہے جہاں اس نے نماز پڑھی تھی، جب تک کہ وہ اپنی طہارت کی حالت کو نہ گنو، وہ کہتے ہیں 'یا اللہ، اسے معاف فرما، یا اللہ اس پر رحم فرما۔'
Hazrat Abu Huraira RA se riwayat hai keh Rasool Allah SAW ne farmaya, farishtay tum mein se kisi par us waqt tak rehmat nazil karte rehte hain jab tak woh apni namaz ki jaga par baitha rehta hai jahan us ne namaz parha thi, jab tak ke woh apni taharat ki halat ko na gino, woh kehte hain 'Ya Allah, isey maaf farma, Ya Allah is par reham farma.'
