Hudhaifa narrates that I used to lose control of my tongue while talking to my family, although it did not happen with others. I mentioned this to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Hudhaifa! Why are you negligent in seeking forgiveness? I seek forgiveness from Allah a hundred times every day."

حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ اپنے اہل خانہ سے بات کرتے وقت مجھے اپنی زبان پر قابو نہیں رہتا تھا البتہ دوسروں کے ساتھ ایسا نہیں ہوتا تھا میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ سے اس چیز کا تذکرہ کیا تو نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا حذیفہ! تم استغفار سے غفلت میں کیوں ہو؟ میں تو روزانہ اللہ سے سو مرتبہ توبہ و استغفار کرتا ہوں۔
Hazrat Huzaifa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki apne ahl khana se baat karte waqt mujhe apni zaban par qaboo nahi rehta tha albatta doosron ke sath aisa nahi hota tha maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se is cheez ka tazkara kiya to Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya Huzaifa! tum istighfar se gaflat mein kyun ho? mein to rozana Allah se so martaba toba o istighfar karta hun.
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: I seek forgiveness from Allah Almighty a hundred times every day.

حضرت ابو موسیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا میں اللہ تعالیٰ کی بارگاہ میں روزانہ سو مرتبہ توبہ کرتا ہوں۔
Hazrat Abu Musa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya mein Allah Ta'ala ki bargah mein rozana sau martaba tauba karta hun.
It is narrated on the authority of Hudhaifah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the one who resembled the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) the most in his manners and character was Abdullah bin Masood (may Allah be pleased with him). From the time he left his house until he returned, I do not know what he used to do inside his house.
Shaqeeq says that once we went to Hudhaifah (may Allah be pleased with him) and asked him to tell us about someone who was closest to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in manners and character, so that we could learn these ways from him and listen to his words. He said that Abdullah bin Masood (may Allah be pleased with him) was the closest to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in manners and character, to the extent that he would even seclude himself in his house to avoid me. Although, the close companions of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) knew that Abdullah bin Masood (may Allah be pleased with him) was the closest to him among them all.

حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ کے طور طریقوں اور سیرت میں نبی کریم ﷺ کے سب سے زیادہ مشابہہ حضرت عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ تھے گھر سے نکلنے سے لے کر واپس آنے تک میں نہیں جانتا کہ وہ گھر میں کیا کرتے تھے۔
شقیق کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ ہم لوگ حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس گئے اور ان سے کہا کہ ہمیں کسی ایسے آدمی کا پتہ بتائیے جو طور طریقوں اور سیرت میں نبی کریم ﷺ کے سب سے زیادہ قریب ہوتا کہ ہم ان سے یہ طریقے اخذ کرسکیں اور ان کی باتیں سن سکیں انہوں نے فرمایا کہ طور طریقوں اور سیرت میں نبی کریم ﷺ کے سب سے زیادہ قریب حضرت عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ تھے یہاں تک کہ وہ مجھ سے چھپ کر اپنے گھر میں بیٹھ گئے حالانکہ نبی کریم ﷺ کے محفوظ صحابہ جانتے ہیں کہ حضرت عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ ان سب سے زیادہ نبی کریم ﷺ کے قریب تھے۔

Shaqiq kehte hain ki ek martaba hum log Hazrat Huzaifa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke pas gaye aur un se kaha ki hamen kisi aise aadmi ka pata bataiye jo tor tariqon aur seerat mein Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sab se zyada qareeb hota ki hum un se ye tariqay akhaz kar saken aur un ki baaten sun saken Unhon ne farmaya ki tor tariqon aur seerat mein Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sab se zyada qareeb Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood (رضي الله تعالى عنه) thay yahan tak ki woh mujh se chhup kar apne ghar mein baith gaye halanki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke mahfooz sahaba jante hain ki Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood (رضي الله تعالى عنه) un sab se zyada Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke qareeb thay.
Zar bin Hubaysh narrates: Once I was in the company of Hudhayfah bin al-Yaman (may Allah be pleased with him). He was describing the event of the Night Journey (Isra and Mi'raj) and mentioned the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) saying, "Then we moved from there and reached Jerusalem, but we did not enter Al-Aqsa Mosque." I said, "But on that night, the Prophet (peace be upon him) did enter Al-Aqsa Mosque and even offered prayer there." Hearing this, Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "O bald one! What is your name? I recognize your face but can't recall your name." I replied, "My name is Zar bin Hubaysh." He asked, "How do you know that the Prophet (peace be upon him) prayed in Al-Aqsa Mosque that night?" I said, "The Quran tells us so." He replied, "Successful is the one who refers to the Quran. Recite the verse you are talking about."
Now when I recited "Glory unto Him Who did take His servant for a Journey by night," it did not mention that the Prophet (peace be upon him) prayed in Al-Aqsa Mosque that night. Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "O bald one! Do you find mention of prayer in it?" I said, "No." He said, "By Allah! The Prophet (peace be upon him) did not pray in Al-Aqsa Mosque that night. If he had prayed there, it would have become obligatory upon you to pray there too, just like in Masjid al-Haram (in Mecca). By Allah! They (Prophet and Jibril) did not dismount Buraq until the gates of heaven were opened for them. Then they both saw Paradise and Hell and witnessed all the promises of the Hereafter. They returned the same way they went. He (the Prophet) then laughed so much that I could see his blessed teeth."
Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) further added, "People say that the Prophet (peace be upon him) tied Buraq so it wouldn't run away. However, Allah Almighty had already subjected the entire universe, seen and unseen, to him."

زر بن حبیش کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ میں حضرت حذیفہ بن یمان رضی اللہ عنہ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا وہ شب معراج کا واقعہ بیان کرتے ہوئے نبی کریم ﷺ کا یہ ارشاد ذکر کرنے لگے کہ پھر ہم وہاں سے چل کر بیت المقدس پہنچے لیکن بیت المقدس میں داخل نہیں ہوئے " میں نے کہا کہ اس رات تو نبی کریم ﷺ بیت المقدس میں داخل بھی ہوئے تھے اور وہاں پر نماز پھی پڑھی تھی یہ سن کر حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا اے گنجے! تمہارا کیا نام ہے؟ میں تمہیں چہرے سے پہچانتا ہوں لیکن نام یاد نہیں ہے میں نے عرض کیا کہ میرا نام زر بن حبیش ہے انہوں نے فرمایا کہ تمہیں کیسے معلوم ہوا کہ اس رات کو نبی کریم ﷺ نے بیت المقدس میں نماز پڑھی تھی؟ میں نے کہا کہ قرآن بتاتا ہے انہوں نے فرمایا کہ قرآن سے بات کرنے والا کامیاب ہوتا ہے تم وہ آیت پڑھ کر سناؤ اب جو میں نے " سبحان الذی اسری بعبدہ " پڑھی تو اس میں یہ کہیں نہ ملا کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے اس رات بیت المقدس میں نماز بھی پڑھی تھی، حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہنے لگے ارے گنجے! کیا تمہیں اس میں نماز پڑھنے کا ذکر ملتا ہے؟ میں نے کہا نہیں انہوں نے فرمایا بخدا! نبی کریم ﷺ نے اس رات بیت المقدس میں نماز نہیں پڑھی تھی اگر نبی کریم ﷺ بیت المقدس میں نماز پڑھ لیتے تو تم پر بھی وہاں نماز پڑھنا فرض ہوجاتا جیسے بیت اللہ میں ہوا بخدا! وہ دونوں براق سے جدا نہیں ہوئے تاآنکہ ان کے لئے آسمان کے دروازے کھول دیئے گئے۔
پھر ان دونوں نے جنت اور جہنم کو دیکھا اور آخرت کے سارے وعدہ دیکھے پھر وہ دونوں اسی طرح واپس آگئے جیسے گئے تھے پھر وہ ہنسنے لگے یہاں تک کہ ان کے دندان مبارک میں نے دیکھے حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے مزید فرمایا لوگ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے براق کو باندھ دیا تھا تاکہ وہ بھاگ نہ جائے حالانکہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے تو سارا عالم غیب وشہود ان کے تابع کردیا تھا۔
Zar bin Habish kahte hain ke ek martaba main Hazrat Huzaifa bin Yaman (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ki khidmat mein hazir hua woh Shab e Miraj ka waqeya bayan karte hue Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ka ye irshad zikr karne lage ke phir hum wahan se chal kar Baitul Muqaddas pahunche lekin Baitul Muqaddas mein dakhil nahin hue main ne kaha ke is raat to Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Baitul Muqaddas mein dakhil bhi hue the aur wahan par namaz bhi parhayi thi ye sunkar Hazrat Huzaifa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne farmaya aye ganje tumhara kya naam hai main tumhen chehre se pehchanta hun lekin naam yaad nahin hai main ne arz kiya ke mera naam Zar bin Habish hai unhon ne farmaya ke tumhen kaise maloom hua ke is raat ko Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Baitul Muqaddas mein namaz parhayi thi main ne kaha ke Quran batata hai unhon ne farmaya ke Quran se baat karne wala kamyab hota hai tum woh ayat parh kar sunao ab jo main ne Subhana-alladhi Asra Bi Abdi hi parhi to is mein ye kahin na mila ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne is raat Baitul Muqaddas mein namaz bhi parhayi thi Hazrat Huzaifa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kahne lage are ganje kya tumhen is mein namaz parhne ka zikr milta hai main ne kaha nahin unhon ne farmaya Khuda Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne is raat Baitul Muqaddas mein namaz nahin parhayi thi agar Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Baitul Muqaddas mein namaz parh lete to tum par bhi wahan namaz parhna farz hojata jaise Baitullah mein hua Khuda woh dono Buraq se juda nahin hue ta'ankih unke liye aasman ke darwaze khol diye gaye phir un donon ne Jannat aur Jahannam ko dekha aur aakhirat ke sare wada dekhe phir woh dono isi tarah wapas aa gaye jaise gaye the phir woh hansne lage yahan tak ke unke dandan mubarak main ne dekhe Hazrat Huzaifa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne mazid farmaya log kahte hain ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Buraq ko bandh diya tha taki woh bhaag na jaye halanki Allah Ta'ala ne to sara aalam ghaib-o-shahood unke taabe kar diya tha.
Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that once I prayed with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would say in his bowing, "Glory be to my Lord, the Great," and in his prostration, "Glory be to my Lord, the Most High." And upon whichever verse of mercy he would pass, he would stop and supplicate, and upon whichever verse of punishment he would pass, he would stop and seek refuge from it.

حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کے ساتھ نماز پڑھی نبی کریم ﷺ اپنے رکوع میں " سبحان ربی العظیم اور سجدہ میں " سبحان ربی الاعلیٰ کہتے رہے اور رحمت کی جس آیت پر گذرتے وہاں رک کر دعا مانگتے اور عذاب کی جس آیت پر گذرتے تو وہاں رک کر اس سے پناہ مانگتے تھے۔

It is narrated by Hudhaifa bin Yaman, may Allah be pleased with him, that I saw the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, come to the place where people used to throw garbage and stood there and urinated.

حضرت حذیفہ بن یمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو دیکھا کہ وہ لوگوں کے کوڑا کرکٹ پھینکنے کی جگہ تشریف لائے اور کھڑے ہو کر پیشاب کیا۔
Hazrat Huzaifa bin Yaman (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko dekha ki woh logon ke kooda karkat phenkne ki jaga tashreef laaye aur kharay ho kar peshab kiya.
Huzaifa narrates that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The distance of my Lake (in Paradise) is like the distance between Ailah and Madinah (or Makkah). Its vessels will be more in number than the stars in the sky. Its water will be sweeter than honey, whiter than milk, cooler than snow, and more fragrant than musk. Whoever drinks from it once will never be thirsty again."

حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا میرے حوض کی مسافت اتنی ہے جتنی ایلہ اور مضر کے درمیان ہے اس کے برتن آسمانوں کے ستاروں سے بھی زیادہ ہوں گے اس کا پانی شہد سے زیادہ شیریں دودھ سے زیادہ سفید برف سے زیادہ ٹھنڈا اور مشک سے زیادہ مہک والا ہوگا جو شخص ایک مرتبہ اس کا پانی پی لے گا وہ اس کے بعد کبھی پیاسا نہ ہوگا۔
Hazrat Huzaifa Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya mere hauz ki misafat itni hai jitni Ailah aur Muzar ke darmiyaan hai is ke bartan aasmano ke sitaron se bhi zyada honge is ka pani shahad se zyada shireen doodh se zyada safaid barf se zyada thanda aur mushk se zyada mahak wala hoga jo shakhs ek martaba is ka pani pi le ga woh is ke baad kabhi pyasa na hoga.
It is narrated on the authority of Huzaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Do not say, 'What Allah willed and what so-and-so willed.' Rather, say, 'What Allah willed, then so-and-so willed.'"
حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا یہ مت کہا کرو " جو اللہ نے چاہا اور جو فلاں نے چاہا " بلکہ یوں کہا کرو " جو اللہ نے چاہا اس کے بعد فلاں نے چاہا "
Hazrat Huzaifa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ye mat kaha karo "Jo Allah ne chaha aur jo falan ne chaha" balki yun kaha karo "Jo Allah ne chaha uske bad falan ne chaha".
Abu Thawr narrated that Uthman, may Allah be pleased with him, sent Sa'eed bin 'Aas, may Allah be pleased with him, to a smooth, sandy area. The people of that area came out and sent Sa'eed back. He (Abu Thawr) said: I was sitting with Abu Mas'ud and Hudhayfah, may Allah be pleased with them both, and Abu Mas'ud said: "I do not think that this man will come back without bloodshed." Hudhayfah said: "But I know that when you return, there will not have been spilled even a cupful of blood. I was told this at a time when the Prophet, may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him, was still alive. However, there will come a time when a man will be a believer in the morning and by the evening, he will have no faith left, or he will be a believer in the evening and by the morning, he will have no faith left. His group will fight one day, and the next day Allah will cause him to be killed. His heart will be turned over, and his backside will be on top." The narrator asked: "Is this word (referring to the last word) the lower part?" He (Hudhayfah) said: "The word is 'sarin' (backside)."

ابو ثور کہتے ہیں کہ ایک ہموار ریتلے علاقے کی طرف حضرت عثمان غنی رضی اللہ عنہ نے حضرت سعید بن عاص رضی اللہ عنہ کو بھیجا، اس علاقے کے لوگ باہر نکلے اور انہوں نے حضرت سعید رضی اللہ عنہ کو واپس بھیج دیا وہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں حضرت ابو مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ اور حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے ہمراہ بیٹھا ہوا تھا کہ حضرت ابو مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ کہنے لگے میرا خیال نہیں ہے کہ یہ آدمی اس طرح واپس آئے گا کہ اس میں خون ریزی نہ کرلے حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا لیکن میں جانتا ہوں کہ جب آپ واپس پہنچیں گے تو وہاں ایک سینگی کے برابر بھی خون نہیں بہا ہوگا مجھے یہ بات اسی وقت معلوم ہوگئی تھی جب کہ نبی کریم ﷺ ابھی حیات تھے البتہ ایک زمانہ ایسا آئے گا کہ انسان صبح کو مومن ہوگا اور شام تک اس کے پاس کچھ بھی ایمان نہ ہوگا یا شام کو مومن ہوگا اور صبح تک اس کے پاس کچھ بھی نہ ہوگا آج اس کی جماعت قتال کرے گی اور کل اللہ تعالیٰ اسے قتل کروا دے گا اس کا دل الٹا ہوجائے گا اس کے سرین اوپر ہوجائیں گے راوی نے پوچھا کہ یہ لفظ نچلا حصہ ہے تو انہوں نے فرمایا یہ لفظ " سرین " ہی ہے۔
Abu Thor kehty hain k aik humwar retlay ilaqay ki taraf Hazrat Usman Ghani Radi Allaho Anho ne Hazrat Saeed bin Aas Radi Allaho Anho ko bheja, is ilaqay k log bahar niklay aur unhon ne Hazrat Saeed Radi Allaho Anho ko wapas bhej diya woh kehty hain k main Hazrat Abu Masood Radi Allaho Anho aur Huzaifa Radi Allaho Anho k hamrah betha hua tha k Hazrat Abu Masood Radi Allaho Anho kehne lagay mera khayal nahin hai k yeh aadmi is tarah wapas aaye ga k is mein khoon rezi na karle Hazrat Huzaifa Radi Allaho Anho ne farmaya lekin main janta hun k jab aap wapas pahunchen ge to wahan aik seengi k barabar bhi khoon nahin baha hoga mujhe yeh baat usi waqt maloom hogayi thi jab k Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam abhi hayat thay albatta aik zamana aisa aaye ga k insan subah ko momin hoga aur sham tak us k paas kuchh bhi imaan na hoga ya sham ko momin hoga aur subah tak us k paas kuchh bhi na hoga aaj us ki jamat qatal kare gi aur kal Allah Ta'ala use qatal karwa de ga us ka dil ulta ho jaye ga us k sereiain upar ho jayen ge ravi ne poocha k yeh lafz nichla hissa hai to unhon ne farmaya yeh lafz "serein" hi hai.
Narrated Hudhayfah (RA): The tribe of Mudar will not leave on the surface of the earth a single righteous person of Allah but will involve him in turmoil and then destroy him, till Allah will send against them an army which will disgrace them and leave none of them even at the foot of a hillock. A man said to him, "O servant of Allah! You are saying this though you yourself belong to Mudar!" He said, "I am only narrating what the Prophet (ﷺ) said."

حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ قبیلہ مضر زمین پر اللہ کا کوئی نیک بندہ ایسا نہیں چھوڑے گا جسے وہ فتنے میں نہ ڈال دے اور اسے ہلاک نہ کر دے حتی کہ اللہ اس پر اپنا ایک لشکر مسلط کر دے گا جو اسے ذلیل کر دے گا اور اسے کسی ٹیلے کا دامن بھی نہ بچا سکے گا، ایک آدمی نے ان سے کہا بندہ خدا! آپ یہ بات کہہ رہے ہیں حالانکہ آپ تو خود قبیلہ مضر سے تعلق رکھتے ہیں؟ انہوں نے فرمایا کہ میں تو وہی بات کہہ رہا ہوں جو نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمائی ہے۔
Hazrat Huzaifa Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki qabeela Muzar zameen par Allah ka koi nek banda aisa nahi chhore ga jise wo fitne mein na daal de aur use halaak na kar de hatta ke Allah us par apna ek lashkar musallat kar de ga jo use zaleel kar de ga aur use kisi teile ka daman bhi na bacha sake ga, ek aadmi ne un se kaha banda Khuda! Aap ye baat keh rahe hain halaki aap to khud qabeela Muzar se taluq rakhte hain? Unhon ne farmaya ke main to wohi baat keh raha hun jo Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaie hai.
Abdul Rahman bin Yazid said that once we went to Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) and asked him to tell us about a man who was closest to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in his manners and character, so that we could learn from him and listen to his words. He said, “The closest person to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in manners and character was Abdullah bin Masood (may Allah be pleased with him), to the extent that he even hid from me in his house, despite the fact that the close companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) knew that Abdullah bin Masood (may Allah be pleased with him) was the closest to him.”

عبدالرحمن بن یزید کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ ہم لوگ حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس گئے اور ان سے کہا کہ ہمیں کسی ایسے آدمی کا پتہ بتائیے جو طور طریقوں اور سیرت میں نبی کریم ﷺ کے سب سے زیادہ قریب ہوتا کہ ہم ان سے یہ طریقے اخذ کرسکیں اور ان کی باتیں سن سکیں انہوں نے فرمایا کہ طور طریقوں اور سیرت میں نبی کریم ﷺ کے سب سے زیادہ قریب حضرت عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ تھے یہاں تک کہ وہ مجھ سے چھپ کر اپنے گھر میں بیٹھ گئے حالانکہ نبی کریم ﷺ کے محفوظ صحابہ جانتے ہیں کہ حضرت عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ ان سب سے زیادہ نبی کریم ﷺ کے قریب تھے۔
Abdulrehman bin Yazid kehte hain ki aik martaba hum log Hazrat Huzaifa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke paas gaye aur un se kaha ki humain kisi aise aadmi ka pata bataiye jo tor tariqon aur seerat mein Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sab se zyada qareeb hota ki hum un se ye tareeqe akhaz kar sakein aur un ki baatein sun sakein unhon ne farmaya ki tor tareeqon aur seerat mein Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sab se zyada qareeb Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood (رضي الله تعالى عنه) the yahan tak ki woh mujh se chhup kar apne ghar mein baith gaye halanki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke mehfooz sahaba jante hain ki Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood (رضي الله تعالى عنه) un sab se zyada Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke qareeb the.
Thalabah ibn Zahdam narrated that once we were with Sa'eed bin 'Aas, may Allah be pleased with him, in Tabaristan. He asked the people, "Who among you has prayed Salat al-Khawf (prayer of fear) with the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace?" Hudhayfah, may Allah be pleased with him, said, "I have." And he described it thus: The people formed two rows behind the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. One row stood facing the enemy, and the other row stood behind the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, for prayer. The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, led them in one rak'ah (unit of prayer). Then, those who were facing the enemy switched places with those who were behind the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and stood behind him. The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, led them in the second rak'ah. Then, the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, finished the prayer with the Salam (salutation). Thus, the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, prayed two rak'ahs, and each group behind him prayed one rak'ah.

ثعلبہ بن زہدم کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ ہم لوگ طبرستان میں حضرت سعید بن عاص رضی اللہ عنہ کے ہمراہ تھے انہوں نے لوگوں سے پوچھا کہ تم میں سے نبی کریم ﷺ کے ساتھ صلوۃ الخوف کس نے پڑھی ہے؟ حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا میں نے اور وہ اس طرح کہ لوگوں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کے پیچھے دو صفیں بنالیں ایک صف دشمن کے سامنے کھڑی رہی اور ایک صف نبی کریم ﷺ کی اقتداء میں نماز کے لئے کھڑی ہوگئی نبی کریم ﷺ نے ان لوگوں کو ایک رکعت پڑھائی پھر یہ لوگ دشمن کے سامنے ڈٹے ہوئے لوگوں کی جگہ الٹے پاؤں چلے گئے اور وہ لوگ ان کی جگہ نبی کریم ﷺ کے پیچھے آکر کر کھڑے ہوگئے اور نبی کریم ﷺ نے انہیں دوسری رکعت پڑھائی پھر نبی کریم ﷺ نے سلام پھیر دیا اس طرح نبی کریم ﷺ کی دو رکعتیں ہوگئیں اور ان کے پیچھے ہر گروہ کی ایک ایک رکعت ہوئی۔
Salabah bin Zahad kahte hain ki aik martaba hum log Tabaristan mein Hazrat Saeed bin Aas Radi Allaho Anhu ke hamrah the unhon ne logon se poocha ki tum mein se Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ke sath Salat-ul-Khauf kis ne parhi hai Hazrat Huzaifa Radi Allaho Anhu ne farmaya mein ne aur wo is tarah ke logon ne Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ke peeche do safein bana lein ek saf dushman ke samne khadi rahi aur ek saf Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ki iqteda mein namaz ke liye khadi ho gayi Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne un logon ko ek rakat parhayi phir ye log dushman ke samne date hue logon ki jagah ulte paon chale gaye aur wo log un ki jagah Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ke peeche aakar kar khade ho gaye aur Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne unhen dusri rakat parhayi phir Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne salaam pher diya is tarah Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ki do rakaten ho gayin aur un ke peeche har giroh ki ek ek rakat hui.
Rubi narrates that once Uqbah bin Amr asked Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) that why don't you tell us any Hadith you heard from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He said I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying that when Dajjal will emerge, he will have water and fire with him. What would appear to people as fire will be cold water, and what appears to be water will be burning fire. Whoever among you finds him, should dive into the thing that appears to be fire, for it will be sweet and cold water.
Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying that once the Angel of Death came to a person to seize his soul. He asked the man, "Have you ever done any good deed?" The man replied, "I don't know." The Angel said, "Think carefully." The man said, "I don't recall any other good deed except that I used to do business with people and I would give respite to the poor and forgive them." Allah Almighty admitted him to Paradise.
And I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying that a man was nearing death, so he told his family, "When I die, burn me in fire, then grind my ashes, and then on a day when the wind is strong, scatter my ashes in the air." When he died, his family did the same. Allah gathered him in His grip of power and asked him, "Who made you do this?" He said, "Your fear." Allah said, "I have forgiven you."

ربعی کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ عقبہ بن عمرو نے حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے کہا کہ آپ ہمیں نبی کریم ﷺ سے سنی ہوئی کوئی حدیث کیوں نہیں سناتے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ دجال جس وقت خروج کرے گا اس کے ساتھ پانی اور آگ ہوگی جو چیز لوگوں کو آگ نظر آئے گی وہ ٹھنڈا پانی ہوگی اور جو چیز پانی نظر آئے گا وہ جلا دینے والی آگ ہوگی تم میں سے جو شخص اسے پائے اسے چاہئے کہ آگ دینے والی چیز میں غوطہ لگائے کیونکہ وہ میٹھا اور ٹھنڈا پانی ہوگا۔ حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ پہلے زمانے میں ایک آدمی کے پاس ملک الموت روح قبض کرنے کے لئے آئے تو اس سے پوچھا کہ تو نے کبھی کوئی نیکی بھی کی ہے؟ اس نے کہا مجھے معلوم نہیں اس نے کہا غور کرلو اس نے کہا کہ اور تو مجھے کوئی نیکی معلوم نہیں البتہ میں لوگوں کے ساتھ تجارت کرتا تھا اس میں تنگدست کو مہلت دے دیتا تھا اور اس سے درگذر کرلیتا تھا اللہ تعالیٰ نے اسے جنت میں داخل کر دیا۔ اور میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ آیک آدمی کی موت کا وقت قریب آیا تو اس نے اپنے گھر والوں سے کہا کہ جب میں مرجاؤں تو مجھے آگ میں جلا دینا پھر میری راکھ کو پیس لینا پھر جس دن تیز آندھی چل رہی ہو اس دن میری راکھ کو ہوا میں بکھیر دیناجب وہ مرگیا تو اس کے اہل خانہ نے اسی طرح کیا اللہ نے اسے اپنے قبضہ قدرت میں جمع کرلیا اور اس سے پوچھا کہ تجھے یہ کام کرنے پر کس نے مجبور کیا؟ اس نے کہا تیرے خوف نے اللہ نے فرمایا میں نے تجھے معاف کردیا۔
Rubai kehte hain ke ek martaba Aqba bin Amr ne Hazrat Huzaifa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se kaha ke aap hamen Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se suni hui koi hadees kyun nahin sunate? Unhon ne farmaya ke maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai ke Dajjal jis waqt khurooj karega uske sath pani aur aag hogi jo cheez logon ko aag nazar aayegi woh thanda pani hogi aur jo cheez pani nazar aayega woh jala dene wali aag hogi tum mein se jo shakhs use paaye use chahiye ke aag dene wali cheez mein ghota lagaye kyunki woh meetha aur thanda pani hoga. Hazrat Huzaifa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain ke maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai ke pehle zamane mein ek aadmi ke paas Malakul Maut rooh qabz karne ke liye aaye to us se puchha ke tune kabhi koi neki bhi ki hai? Usne kaha mujhe maloom nahin usne kaha gौर kar lo usne kaha ke aur to mujhe koi neki maloom nahin albatta main logon ke sath tijarat karta tha usme tangdast ko mohlat de deta tha aur us se darguzar kar leta tha Allah Ta'ala ne use Jannat mein dakhil kar diya. Aur maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai ke aik aadmi ki maut ka waqt qareeb aaya to usne apne ghar walon se kaha ke jab main marjaun to mujhe aag mein jala dena phir meri raakh ko pees lena phir jis din tez aandhi chal rahi ho us din meri raakh ko hawa mein bikher dena jab woh mar gaya to uske ahl khana ne isi tarah kiya Allah ne use apne qabza qudrat mein jama kar liya aur us se puchha ke tujhe ye kaam karne par kisne majboor kiya? Usne kaha tere khauf ne Allah ne farmaya maine tujhe maaf kar diya.
Huzaifa bin Yaman (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that nothing prevented me from participating in the Battle of Badr, rather I left with my father, Husail. But on the way, the disbelievers of Quraish caught us and said, “Are you going to Muhammad (peace be upon him)?” We said that our intention was only to go to Madinah. They took a promise and a firm covenant from us that we would not join the battle on their (the Prophet's) side upon reaching Madinah. We reached the Prophet (peace be upon him) and told him the whole story. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Both of you go back. We will fulfill their promise and ask Allah for help against them."

حضرت حذیفہ بن یمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ غزوہ بدر میں شرکت سے مجھے کوئی چیز مانع نہیں تھی بلکہ میں اپنے والد حسیل کے ساتھ نکلا تھا لیکن راستے میں ہمیں کفار قریش نے پکڑ لیا اور کہنے لگے کہ تم محمد ﷺ کے پاس جا رہے ہو؟ ہم نے کہا کہ ہمارا ارادہ تو صرف مدینہ منورہ جانے کا ہے انہوں نے ہم سے یہ وعدہ اور مضبوط عہد لیا کہ ہم مدینہ جا کر لڑائی میں ان کا ساتھ نہیں دیں گے ہم نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں پہنچے اور ساری بات بتادی نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا تم دونوں واپس چلے جاؤ ہم ان کا وعدہ وفا کریں گے اور ان کے خلاف اللہ سے مدد مانگیں گے۔
Hazrat Huzaifa bin Yaman (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Ghazwa Badr mein shirkat se mujhe koi cheez mane nahi thi balki main apne walid Hasil ke sath nikla tha lekin raste mein hamen kuffar Quraish ne pakad liya aur kahne lage ki tum Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke pass ja rahe ho? Hum ne kaha ki hamara irada to sirf Madina Munawwara jane ka hai unhon ne hum se ye waada aur mazboot ahd liya ki hum Madina ja kar ladai mein un ka sath nahi denge hum Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein pahunche aur sari baat batadi Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya tum donon wapas chale jao hum un ka waada wafa karenge aur un ke khilaf Allah se madad mangenge.
Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: Once he went to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said: I was praying when I heard a man saying: O Allah! All praise is for You, all kingdoms belong to You, all good is in Your Hand, all matters return to You, whether they are apparent or hidden, You are the only One worthy of praise, and indeed, You are Powerful over all things. O Allah! Forgive me for all the sins I have committed, protect me from sinning in the time I have left in this life, and grant me the ability to perform righteous deeds that please You. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: That was an angel who came to teach you the praise of your Lord.

حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ وہ نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے اور عرض کیا کہ میں نماز پڑھ رہا تھا اچانک میں نے ایک آدمی کو یہ کہتے ہوئے سنا اے اللہ! تمام تعریفیں تیرے لئے ہیں تمام حکومتیں تیرے لئے ہیں ہر طرح کی خیر تیرے ہاتھ میں ہے سارے معاملات تیری ہی طرف لوٹتے ہیں خواہ وہ ظاہر ہوں یا پوشیدہ تو ہی اس قابل ہے کہ تیری تعریف کی جائے بیشک تو ہر چیز پر قادر ہے اے اللہ! مجھ سے جتنے گناہ بھی سرزد ہوئے ہیں سب کو معاف فرما دے اور زندگی کا جتناحصہ باقی بچا ہے اس میں گناہوں سے بچا لے اور ایسے نیک اعمال کی توفیق عطا فرما دے جس سے تو راضی ہوجائے نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا وہ ایک فرشتہ تھا جو تمہیں تمہارے رب کی حمد سکھانے کے لئے آیا تھا۔
Hazrat Huzaifa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek martaba woh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir hue aur arz kiya ki mein namaz parh raha tha achanak mein ne ek aadmi ko yeh kehte hue suna aye Allah tamam tareefain tere liye hain tamam hukumathain tere liye hain har tarah ki khair tere hath mein hai sare mamlat teri hi taraf laut te hain khawah woh zahir hon ya poshida tu hi is qabil hai ki teri tareef ki jaye beshak tu har cheez par qadir hai aye Allah mujh se jitne gunaah bhi sarzad hue hain sab ko maaf farma de aur zindagi ka jitna hissa baqi bacha hai us mein gunaahon se bacha le aur aise nek amal ki taufeeq ata farma de jis se tu razi ho jaye Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya woh ek firishta tha jo tumhen tumhare rab ki hamd sikhaane ke liye aaya tha.
Hudhayfah ibn al-Yaman (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) once held my shin or his own shin and said, "This is where the lower garment should be (tied). If you do not agree, then let it hang a little below this. If you do not agree to this either, then the lower garment has no right to be below the ankles."

حضرت حذیفہ بن یمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ایک مرتبہ میری یا اپنی پنڈلی کی مچھلی پکڑ کر فرمایا تہبند باندھنے کی جگہ یہاں تک ہے اگر تم نہ مانو تو اس سے کچھ نیچے لٹکالو اگر یہ بھی نہ مانو تو ٹخنوں سے نیچے تہبند کا کوئی حق نہیں ہے۔
Hazrat Huzaifa bin Yaman (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ek martaba meri ya apni pindli ki machhli pakad kar farmaya tehband bandhne ki jagah yahan tak hai agar tum na mano to is se kuch niche latkalo agar ye bhi na mano to takhno se niche tehband ka koi haq nahi hai.
'Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Layla said: One time I went out with Hudhayfah, may Allah be pleased with him, to a village. He asked for water, and a farmer brought water in a silver vessel. Hudhayfah, may Allah be pleased with him, struck the vessel against his (the farmer's) face. We gestured to each other to remain silent, because if we were to ask him (Hudhayfah), he would never explain it to us. So we remained silent. After a while, he himself said, "Do you know why I struck the vessel against his face?" We said, "No." He said, "I had forbidden him from this before (but he did not listen)." Then he said, "The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah upon him, said, 'Do not drink from vessels of gold and silver, and do not wear silk and brocade, for these things are for the disbelievers in this world, and for you in the Hereafter."

عبدالرحمن بن ابی لیلی کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ میں حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے ساتھ ایک دیہات کی طرف نکلا انہوں نے پانی منگوایا تو ایک کسان چاندی کے برتن میں پانی لے کر آیا حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے وہ برتن اس کے منہ پردے مارا ہم نے ایک دوسرے کو خاموش رہنے کا اشارہ کیا کیونکہ اگر ہم ان سے پوچھتے تو وہ کبھی اس کے متعلق ہم سے بیان نہ کرتے چناچہ ہم خاموش رہے کچھ دیر بعد انہوں نے خود ہی فرمایا کیا تم جانتے ہو کہ میں نے یہ برتن اس کے چہرے پر کیوں مارا؟ ہم نے عرض کیا نہیں۔ فرمایا کہ میں نے اسے پہلے بھی منع کیا تھا (لیکن یہ باز نہیں آیا) پھر انہوں نے بتایا کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا سونے چاندی کے برتن میں کچھ نہ پیا کرو ریشم و دیبا مت پہنا کرو کیونکہ یہ چیزیں دنیا میں کافروں کے لئے ہیں اور آخرت میں تمہارے لئے ہیں۔
Abdul Rahman bin Abi Laila kehte hain ke ek martaba main Hazrat Huzaifa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke sath ek dehat ki taraf nikla unhon ne pani mangvaya to ek kisaan chandi ke bartan mein pani lekar aaya Hazrat Huzaifa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne woh bartan uske munh per de mara hum ne ek dusre ko khamosh rahne ka ishara kiya kyunki agar hum unse puchte to woh kabhi iske mutalliq hum se bayan na karte chunancha hum khamosh rahe kuch der baad unhon ne khud hi farmaya kya tum jante ho ke main ne ye bartan uske chehre per kyun mara hum ne arz kiya nahin farmaya ke main ne use pehle bhi mana kiya tha lekin ye baaz nahin aaya phir unhon ne bataya ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya sone chandi ke bartan mein kuch na piya karo resham wa diba mat pehna karo kyunki ye cheezen duniya mein kafiro ke liye hain aur aakhirat mein tumhare liye hain.
It is narrated by Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "There will appear in my Ummah twenty-seven liars and Dajjals, and among them will be four women, though I am the last Prophet and there will be no Prophet after me."

حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا میری امت میں ستائیس کذاب اور دجال آئیں گے جن میں چار عورتیں بھی شامل ہوں گی حالانکہ میں آخری نبی ہوں میرے بعد کوئی نبی نہیں آئے گا۔
Hazrat Huzaifa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya meri ummat mein satayees kazab aur dajjal ayenge jin mein chaar auratain bhi shamil hongi halanke main aakhiri nabi hun mere baad koi nabi nahi aayega.
It has been narrated on the authority of Hadrat Hudhaifa bin al-Yaman (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: A slanderer will not enter Paradise.

حضرت حذیفہ بن یمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ چغلخور جنت میں داخل نہ ہوگا۔
Hazrat Huzaifa bin Yaman (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai ki chugalkhor Jannat mein dakhil na hoga.
Zaid bin Wahb narrates that once, Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) entered the mosque and saw a man praying near Bab Kinda. He was not performing his bowing (ruku) and prostrations (sujood) properly. When he finished his prayer, Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) asked him, "Since when have you been praying like this?" He replied, "For forty years." Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "You have not prayed even one prayer in forty years. And if you were to depart from this world with this prayer, you would not die on the natural disposition (Fitra) on which Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was endowed."

زید بن وہب کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ مسجد میں داخل ہوئے تو دیکھا کہ ابواب کندہ کے قریب ایک آدمی نماز پڑھ رہا ہے وہ رکوع و سجود کامل نہیں کر رہا تھا جب نماز سے فارغ ہوگیا تو حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے اس سے پوچھا کہ تم کب سے اس طرح نماز پڑھ رہے ہو؟ اس نے کہا چالیس سال سے حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا تم نے چالیس سال سے ایک نماز نہیں پڑھی اور اگر تم اسی نماز پر دنیا سے رخصت ہوجاتے تو تم اس فطرت پر نہ مرتے جو نبی کریم ﷺ کو عطاء فرمائی گئی تھی۔
Zaid bin Wahb kehte hain ke ek martaba Hazrat Huzaifa razi Allah anhu masjid mein dakhil hue to dekha ke abwab kunda ke qareeb ek aadmi namaz parh raha hai woh rukoo o sijda kamel nahi kar raha tha jab namaz se farigh hogaya to Hazrat Huzaifa razi Allah anhu ne us se poocha ke tum kab se is tarah namaz parh rahe ho us ne kaha chalis saal se Hazrat Huzaifa razi Allah anhu ne farmaya tum ne chalis saal se ek namaz nahi parhi aur agar tum isi namaz par duniya se rukhsat hojate to tum us fitrat par na marte jo Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ata farmaee gaee thi.
Zarr bin Hubaysh said that once I was going to the mosque after having Suhoor (pre-dawn meal). On the way, I passed by the house of Huzaifa bin Yaman, may Allah be pleased with him, so I went in. He ordered, so a goat was milked and the milk was heated in a pot. Then he said, "Come closer and start eating." I said, "I have already made the intention to fast." He said, "I also intend to fast." So we ate and drank and reached the mosque, where the prayer had already begun. Then Huzaifa, may Allah be pleased with him, said, "Once, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, did the same with me." I asked, "After the true dawn?" He replied, "Yes! It was after dawn, but the sun had not yet risen."

زر بن حبیش کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ میں سحری کھا کر مسجد کی طرف روانہ ہوا راستے میں حضرت حذیفہ بن یمان رضی اللہ عنہ کا گھر آیا تو وہاں چلا گیا انہوں نے حکم دیا تو ایک بکری کا دودھ دوہا گیا اور ہانڈی کو جوش دیا گیا پھر وہ فرمانے لگے کہ قریب ہو کر کھانا شروع کرو میں نے کہا کہ میں تو روزے کی نیت کرچکا ہوں انہوں نے فرمایا میں بھی روزے کا ارادہ رکھتا ہوں چناچہ ہم نے کھایا پیا اور مسجد پہنچے تو نماز کھڑی ہوگئی پھر حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے میرے ساتھ بھی اسی طرح کیا تھا میں نے پوچھا صبح صادق کے بعد؟ انہوں نے فرمایا ہاں! صبح ہوچکی تھی لیکن سورج طلوع نہیں ہوا تھا۔
Zar bin Habish kehte hain ki ek martaba main sahri kha kar masjid ki taraf rawana hua raste mein Hazrat Huzaifa bin Yaman Radi Allah Anhu ka ghar aaya to wahan chala gaya unhon ne hukum diya to ek bakri ka doodh doha gaya aur handi ko josh diya gaya phir woh farmane lage ki qareeb ho kar khana shuru karo main ne kaha ki main to rozey ki niyat kar chuka hun unhon ne farmaya main bhi rozey ka irada rakhta hun chunancha hum ne khaya piya aur masjid pahunche to namaz khari ho gai phir Hazrat Huzaifa Radi Allah Anhu ne farmaya ki ek martaba Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mere sath bhi isi tarah kiya tha main ne poocha subah sadiq ke bad? Unhon ne farmaya haan! Subah ho chuki thi lekin sooraj talua nahi hua tha.
Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that I used to not be able to control my tongue when I would talk to my family, though it wasn't like that with other people. I mentioned this to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "O Hudhayfah! Why are you negligent of seeking forgiveness? Verily, I seek forgiveness from Allah a hundred times daily."

حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ اپنے اہل خانہ سے بات کرتے وقت مجھے اپنی زبان پر قابو نہیں رہتا تھا البتہ دوسروں کے ساتھ ایسا نہیں ہوتا تھا میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ سے اس چیز کا تذکرہ کیا تو نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا حذیفہ! تم استغفار سے غفلت میں کیوں ہو؟ میں تو روزانہ اللہ سے سو مرتبہ توبہ و استغفار کرتا ہوں۔
Hazrat Huzaifa Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki apne ahl khana se baat karte waqt mujhe apni zuban per qaboo nahi rehta tha albatta doosron ke sath aisa nahi hota tha maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se is cheez ka tazkara kiya to Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya Huzaifa! tum istighfar se ghaflat mein kyun ho? mein to rozana Allah se so martaba tauba o istighfar karta hun.
Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that once I prayed the night prayer with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) recited seven long Surahs in seven rak'ahs. When he raised his head from bowing, he would say, "Sami Allahu liman Hamidah," then he would say, "Alhamdulillah Dhil Mulki wal Jabroot wal Kibriya'i wal 'Azhama." And his bowing was equal to his standing, and his prostration was equal to his bowing. When the prayer was over, my legs were about to break.

حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کے ساتھ رات کو قیام کیا نبی کریم ﷺ نے سات رکعتوں میں سات طویل سورتیں پڑھ لیں اور رکوع سے سر اٹھا کر سمع اللہ لمن حمدہ کہتے، پھر فرماتے الحمدللہ ذی الملکوت والجبروت والکبریاء والعظمۃ " اور ان کارکوع قیام کے برابر تھا اور سجدہ رکوع کے برابر ہے نماز سے جب فراغت ہوئی تو میری ٹانگیں ٹوٹنے کے قریب ہوگئی تھیں۔

'Abdul Rahman bin Abi Layla said: "Once I went out with Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) towards a village. He asked for some water, and a farmer brought water in a silver vessel. Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) struck him in the face with the vessel. We signaled each other to remain silent because if we asked him, he would never explain it to us. So we remained silent. After a while, he himself said, 'Do you know why I struck him in the face with the vessel?' We replied, 'No.' He said, 'I had forbidden him before (but he did not listen).' Then he said, 'The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: 'Do not drink from vessels of gold and silver, and do not wear silk and brocade, for these things are for the disbelievers in this world, and for you in the Hereafter.'" '

عبدالرحمن بن ابی لیلی کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ میں حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے ساتھ ایک دیہات کی طرف نکلا انہوں نے پانی منگوایا تو ایک کسان چاندی کے برتن میں پانی لے کر آیا حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے وہ برتن اس کے منہ پردے مارا ہم نے ایک دوسرے کو خاموش رہنے کا اشارہ کیا کیونکہ اگر ہم ان سے پوچھتے تو وہ کبھی اس کے متعلق ہم سے بیان نہ کرتے چناچہ ہم خاموش رہے کچھ دیر بعد انہوں نے خود ہی فرمایا کیا تم جانتے ہو کہ میں نے یہ برتن اس کے چہرے پر کیوں مارا؟ ہم نے عرض کیا نہیں۔ فرمایا کہ میں نے اسے پہلے بھی منع کیا تھا (لیکن یہ باز نہیں آیا) پھر انہوں نے بتایا کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا سونے چاندی کے برتن میں کچھ نہ پیا کرو ریشم و دیبا مت پہنا کرو کیونکہ یہ چیزیں دنیا میں کافروں کے لئے ہیں اور آخرت میں تمہارے لئے ہیں۔
Abdulrehman bin Abi Laila kehte hain ke aik martaba main Hazrat Huzaifa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke sath aik dehat ki taraf nikla unhon ne pani mangwaya to aik kisan chandi ke bartan mein pani lekar aaya Hazrat Huzaifa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne wo bartan uske munh per de mara hum ne aik dusre ko khamosh rahne ka ishara kiya kyunki agar hum unse puchte to wo kabhi iske mutalliq hum se bayan na karte chunancha hum khamosh rahe kuch der baad unhon ne khud hi farmaya kya tum jante ho ke main ne ye bartan uske chehre per kyun mara hum ne arz kiya nahin farmaya ke main ne use pehle bhi mana kiya tha lekin ye baaz nahin aaya phir unhon ne bataya ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya sone chandi ke bartan mein kuch na piya karo resham o diba mat pehna karo kyunki ye cheezen duniya mein kafiron ke liye hain aur aakhirat mein tumhare liye hain.
It is narrated on the authority of Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The Dajjal's left eye will be blind, his hair will be like wool, and he will have with him a paradise and a hell. But his paradise will actually be hell, and his hell will actually be paradise.

حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا دجال کی بائیں آنکھ کانی ہوگی اس کے بال اون کی مانند ہوں گے اس کے ساتھ جنت اور جہنم بھی ہوگی لیکن اس کی جہنم درحقیقت جنت ہوگی اور جنت درحقیقت جہنم ہوگی۔
Hazrat Huzaifa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya Dajjal ki baen aankh kaani hogi uske baal oon ki manind honge uske sath jannat aur jahannam bhi hogi lekin uski jahannam dar haqeeqat jannat hogi aur jannat dar haqeeqat jahannam hogi.
It is narrated on the authority of Hudhayfah ibn al-Yaman, may Allah be pleased with him, that when the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, would wake up at night, the first thing he would do is use the Miswak (tooth stick).

حضرت حذیفہ بن یمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ رات کو جب بیدار ہوتے تو سب سے پہلے مسواک فرماتے تھے۔
Hazrat Huzaifa bin Yaman (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) raat ko jab bedaar hote to sab se pehle miswak farmate thy.
Hazifa (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that once he prayed behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) began reciting Surah Baqarah. When he reached one hundred verses, I thought the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would now go into rukuh (bowing). But the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) continued reciting until he reached two hundred verses. I thought maybe he would go into rukuh now. But the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) continued reciting until he finished it. Then, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) started reciting Surah Nisa and after reciting it, he went into rukuh. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) kept reciting "Subhana Rabbi-al-Azim" (Glory be to my Lord, the Most Great) in his rukuh and "Subhana Rabbi-al-A'la" (Glory be to my Lord, the Most High) in his sajdah (prostration). Whenever he came across a verse of mercy, he would stop and pray, and whenever he came across a verse of punishment, he would stop and seek refuge from it.

حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کے ساتھ نماز پڑھی نبی کریم ﷺ نے سورت بقرہ شروع کردی جب سو آیات پر پہنچے تو میں نے سوچا کہ نبی کریم ﷺ اب رکوع کریں گے لیکن نبی کریم ﷺ پڑھتے رہے حتی کہ دو سو آیات تک پہنچ گئے میں نے سوچا کہ شاید اب رکوع کریں گے لیکن نبی کریم ﷺ پڑھتے رہے حتی کہ اسے ختم کرلیا لیکن نبی کریم ﷺ نے سورت نساء شروع کرلی اور اسے پڑھ کر رکوع کیا نبی کریم ﷺ اپنے رکوع میں " سبحان ربی العظیم " اور سجدہ میں " سبحان ربی الاعلی " کہتے رہے اور رحمت کی جس آیت پر گذرتے وہاں رک کر دعا مانگتے اور عذاب کی جس آیت پر گذرتے تو وہاں رک کر اس سے پناہ مانگتے تھے۔

Maine socha ki shayad ab ruku karenge lekin Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) parhte rahe hatta ki ise khatm kar liya. Lekin Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Surah Nisa shuru kar li aur ise parh kar ruku kiya. Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) apne ruku mein "Subhana Rabbiy-al-Azim" aur sajda mein "Subhana Rabbiy-al-A'la" kahte rahe aur rahmat ki jis ayat par guzarte wahan ruk kar dua mangte aur azab ki jis ayat par guzarte to wahan ruk kar is se panah mangte the.
It is narrated on the authority of Hudhaifa bin Yaman, may Allah be pleased with him, that I heard the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, saying that a slanderer will not enter Paradise.

حضرت حذیفہ بن یمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ چغلخور جنت میں داخل نہ ہوگا۔

Huzaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to say when he went to his bed at night: "O Allah! In Your name we live and die." And when he woke up, he would say: "All praise is to Allah, Who gave us life after death and to Him we shall be gathered."

حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ رات کے وقت جب اپنے بستر پر آتے تو یوں کہتے اے اللہ! ہم تیرے ہی نام سے جیتے مرتے ہیں اور جب بیدار ہوتے تو یوں فرماتے " اس اللہ کا شکر جس نے ہمیں مرنے کے بعد دوبارہ زندہ کیا اور اسی کے یہاں جمع ہونا ہے۔ "
Hazrat Huzaifa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) raat ke waqt jab apne bistar par aate to yun kehte ae Allah hum tere hi naam se jeete marte hain aur jab bedaar hote to yun farmate is Allah ka shukar jisne hamen marne ke baad dobara zinda kiya aur isi ke yahan jama hona hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Huzaifa bin Yaman, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: Every act of goodness is charity.

حضرت حذیفہ بن یمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ تمہارے نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا ہر نیکی صدقہ ہے۔

Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I could not control my tongue while talking to my family, although this was not the case with others. I mentioned this to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Hudhaifa! Why are you negligent in seeking forgiveness? I seek forgiveness and repentance from Allah a hundred times a day."

The disbelievers of Quraysh captured us and asked if we were going to Muhammad (peace be upon him). We said our intention was only to go to Medina. They made us promise and pledge firmly that we would not join them in fighting if we went to Medina. We came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and told him everything. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Both of you, go back. We will fulfill the promise made to them and seek Allah's help against them."

ہمیں کفار قریش نے پکڑ لیا اور کہنے لگے کہ تم محمد ﷺ کے پاس جا رہے ہو؟ ہم نے کہا کہ ہمارا ارادہ تو صرف مدینہ منورہ جانے کا ہے انہوں نے ہم سے یہ وعدہ اور مضبوط عہد لیا کہ ہم مدینہ جا کر لڑائی میں ان کا ساتھ نہیں دیں گے ہم نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں پہنچے اور ساری بات بتادی نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا تم دونوں واپس چلے جاؤ ہم ان کا وعدہ وفا کریں گے اور ان کے خلاف اللہ سے مدد مانگیں گے۔
Hamen kuffar quresh ne pakar liya aur kehne lage keh tum Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke pass ja rahe ho? Hum ne kaha keh hamara irada to sirf Madina munawara jane ka hai unhon ne hum se ye wada aur mazboot ahd liya keh hum Madina ja kar larai mein un ka sath nahi denge hum Nabi kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein pahunche aur sari baat batadi Nabi kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya tum donon wapas chale jao hum un ka wada wafa karenge aur un ke khilaf Allah se madad mangenge.
Narrated by Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) that while we were having a meal with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), a slave girl came as if she was being pushed by someone. She was about to put her hand in the food when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) caught her hand. Then a villager came, as if he was being pushed by someone. He was about to put his hand in the food when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) caught his hand as well and said, "Verily, Satan considers it lawful for himself to eat that food over which the name of Allah has not been taken. So, first he came with this slave girl to make the food lawful for himself, but I caught her hand. Then he came with this villager to make the food lawful for himself through him, but I caught his hand as well. Therefore, eat by saying 'Bismillah' (In the name of Allah)."

حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ جب ہم لوگ نبی کریم ﷺ کے ہمراہ کھانے میں شریک تھے اسی اثناء میں ایک باندی آئی ایسا محسوس ہوتا تھا کہ اسے کوئی دھکیل رہا ہے وہ کھانے میں اپنا ہاتھ ڈالنے لگی تو نبی کریم ﷺ نے اس کا ہاتھ پکڑ لیا پھر ایک دیہاتی آیا ایسا محسوس ہوتا تھا کہ اسے کوئی دھکیل رہا ہے وہ کھانے میں اپنا ہاتھ ڈالنے لگا تو نبی کریم ﷺ نے اس کا ہاتھ بھی پکڑ لیا اور فرمایا کہ جب کھانے پر اللہ کا نام نہ لیا جائے تو شیطان اسے اپنے لئے حلال سمجھتا ہے چناچہ پہلے وہ اس باندی کے ساتھ آیا تاکہ اپنے لئے کھانے کو حلال بنا لے لیکن میں نے اس کا ہاتھ پکڑ لیا پھر وہ اس دیہاتی کے ساتھ آیا تاکہ اس کے ذریعے اپنے کھانے کو حلال بنا لے لیکن میں نے اس کا ہاتھ بھی پکڑ لیا اس لئے بسم اللہ پڑھ کر کھایا کرو۔
Hazrat Huzaifa raziallahu anhu se marvi hai ki jab hum log Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke hamrah khane mein sharik thay usi asna mein ek bandi aai aisa mehsoos hota tha ki use koi dhakhel raha hai wo khane mein apna hath dalne lagi to Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne uska hath pakad liya phir ek dehati aaya aisa mehsoos hota tha ki use koi dhakhel raha hai wo khane mein apna hath dalne laga to Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne uska hath bhi pakad liya aur farmaya ki jab khane par Allah ka naam na liya jaye to shaitan use apne liye halal samajhta hai chunancha pehle wo us bandi ke sath aaya takih apne liye khane ko halal bana le lekin maine uska hath pakad liya phir wo us dehati ke sath aaya takih uske zariye apne khane ko halal bana le lekin maine uska hath bhi pakad liya is liye bismillah padh kar khaya karo.

عبدالرحمن بن ابی لیلی کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ میں حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے ساتھ ایک دیہات کی طرف نکلا انہوں نے پانی منگوایا تو ایک کسان چاندی کے برتن میں پانی لے کر آیا حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے وہ برتن اس کے منہ پردے مارا ہم نے ایک دوسرے کو خاموش رہنے کا اشارہ کیا کیونکہ اگر ہم ان سے پوچھتے تو وہ کبھی اس کے متعلق ہم سے بیان نہ کرتے چناچہ ہم خاموش رہے کچھ دیر بعد انہوں نے خود ہی فرمایا کیا تم جانتے ہو کہ میں نے یہ برتن اس کے چہرے پر کیوں مارا؟ ہم نے عرض کیا نہیں۔ فرمایا کہ میں نے اسے پہلے بھی منع کیا تھا (لیکن یہ باز نہیں آیا) پھر انہوں نے بتایا کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا سونے چاندی کے برتن میں کچھ نہ پیا کرو ریشم و دیبا مت پہنا کرو کیونکہ یہ چیزیں دنیا میں کافروں کے لئے ہیں اور آخرت میں تمہارے لئے ہیں۔

Narrated Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I prayed behind the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) started reciting Surah Baqarah. When he reached one hundred verses, I thought the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would now go into Ruku (bowing). But the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) kept reciting until he reached two hundred verses. I thought that perhaps now he would go into Ruku but the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) kept reciting until he finished it. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) started reciting Surah Nisa and went into Ruku after reciting it. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) kept reciting “Subhana Rabbiy-al-Azeem'' (Glory be to my Lord, the Most Great) in his Ruku and “Subhana Rabbiy-al-A’laa” (Glory be to my Lord, the Most High) in his Sajdah (prostration). And whenever he passed over a verse of mercy, he would stop and pray for it, and whenever he passed over a verse of punishment, he would stop and seek refuge in Allah from it.

حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ نماز پڑھی، نبی ﷺ نے سورت بقرہ شروع کردی، جب سو آیات پر پہنچے تو میں نے سوچا کہ نبی ﷺ اب رکوع کریں گے، لیکن نبی ﷺ پڑھتے رہے حتی کہ دو سو آیات تک پہنچ گئے، میں نے سوچا کہ شاید اب رکوع کریں گے، لیکن نبی ﷺ پڑھتے رہے حتی کہ اسے ختم کرلیا، لیکن نبی ﷺ نے سورت نساء شروع کرلی اور اسے پڑھ کر رکوع کیا، نبی ﷺ اپنے رکوع میں " سبحان ربی العظیم " اور سجدہ میں " سبحان ربی الاعلی " کہتے رہے اور رحمت کی جس آیت پر گذرتے وہاں رک کر دعا مانگتے اور عذاب کی جس آیت پر گذرتے تو وہاں رک کر اس سے پناہ مانگتے تھے۔

It is narrated on the authority of Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the one who sits in the middle of the circle has been cursed by the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ جو شخص وسط حلقہ میں بیٹھتا ہے وہ نبی کریم ﷺ کی زبانی ملعون قرار دے دیا گیا ہے۔
Hazrat Huzaifa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki jo shakhs wast halqa mein bethta hai wo Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki zabaani mal'un karar de diya gaya hai.
Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that once some people from Najran came and said, “Send with us a trustworthy man.” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “I will send with you such a trustworthy man who truly deserves to be called trustworthy.” Hearing this, the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them all) started looking around. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sent Abu Ubaidah (may Allah be pleased with him) with them.

حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نجران سے ایک مرتبہ کچھ لوگ آئے اور کہنے لگے آپ ہمارے ساتھ کسی امانت دار آدمی کو بھیج دیجئے نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا میں تمہارے ساتھ ایسے امانت دار آدمی کو بھیجوں گا جو واقعی امین کہلانے کا حقدار ہوگا یہ سن کر صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہم سر اٹھا اٹھا کر دیکھنے لگے پھر نبی کریم ﷺ نے ان کے ساتھ حضرت ابوعبیدہ رضی اللہ عنہ کو بھیج دیا۔
Hazrat Huzaifa Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai ki Najran se ek martaba kuch log aye aur kehne lage aap humare sath kisi amanat dar aadmi ko bhi bhej dijiye Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya main tumhare sath aise amanat dar aadmi ko bhejoon ga jo waqai ameen kehlane ka haqdar hoga ye sun kar sahaba karam Radi Allaho Anhum sar utha utha kar dekhne lage phir Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne un ke sath Hazrat Abu Ubaidah Radi Allaho Anho ko bhej diya.
It was narrated from Hudhaifah bin Al-Yaman that the Prophet grabbed the calf of his leg and said, "This is where the lower garment should be. If you dislike that, then (it may be) lower than that a little. But if you dislike that, then (below) the ankles, for there is no (part) of the lower garment below the ankles."

حضرت حذیفہ بن یمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ایک مرتبہ اپنی پنڈلی کی مچھلی پکڑ کر فرمایا تہبند باندھنے کی جگہ یہاں تک ہے اگر تم نہ مانو تو اس سے کچھ نیچے لٹکا لو اگر یہ بھی نہ مانو تو ٹخنوں سے نیچے تہبند کا کوئی حق نہیں ہے۔
Hazrat Huzaifa bin Yaman (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ek martaba apni pindli ki machhli pakar kar farmaya tehband bandhne ki jagah yahan tak hai agar tum na mano to is se kuch niche latka lo agar ye bhi na mano to takhnon se niche tehband ka koi haq nahi hai.
Narrated by Huzaifa bin Yaman, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: Every act of kindness is charity.

حضرت حذیفہ بن یمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا ہر نیکی صدقہ ہے۔

It is narrated on the authority of the sister of Huzaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) that once, while delivering a sermon, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to us, "O gathering of women! Is silver jewelry not enough for you? Remember! The woman among you who wears gold for display will be punished on the Day of Judgment."

حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ کی بہن سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ہمیں خطبہ دیتے ہوئے فرمایا اے گروہ خواتین! کیا تمہارے لئے چاندی کے زیورات کافی نہیں ہوسکتے؟ یاد رکھو! تم میں سے جو عورت نمائش کے لئے سونا پہنے گی اسے قیامت کے دن عذاب میں مبتلا کیا جائے۔
Hazrat Huzaifa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ki behan se marvi hai ke ek martaba Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne hamen khutba dete huye farmaya aye giroh khawateen kya tumhare liye chandi ke zewar kaafi nahi ho sakte yaad rakho tum mein se jo aurat numaish ke liye sona pehnegi use qayamat ke din azab mein mubtala kiya jaye.
Hudhaifa bin al-Yaman, may Allah be pleased with him, narrated that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Do not say, 'What Allah willed and what so-and-so willed,' rather say, 'What Allah willed, then so-and-so willed.'"

حضرت حذیفہ بن یمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا یہ مت کہا کرو "" جو اللہ نے چاہا اور جو فلاں نے چاہا "" بلکہ یوں کہا کرو "" جو اللہ نے چاہا اس کے بعد فلاں نے چاہا۔
Hazrat Huzaifa bin Yaman (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ye mat kaha karo "Jo Allah ne chaha aur jo falan ne chaha" balki yun kaha karo "Jo Allah ne chaha uske baad falan ne chaha".
It is narrated on the authority of Huzaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When the Dajjal will emerge, he will have water and fire with him. What will appear to people as fire will be cold water, and what will appear to be water will be burning fire. Therefore, do not perish. Hearing this Hadith, Abu Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) used to say, "I have heard this Hadith from the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)."

حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا دجال جس وقت خروج کرے گا اس کے ساتھ پانی اور آگ ہوگی جو چیز لوگوں کو آگ نظر آئے گی وہ ٹھنڈا پانی ہوگی اور جو چیز پانی نظر آئے گی وہ جلا دینے والی آگ ہوگی، لہٰذا تم ہلاک نہ ہوجانا یہ حدیث سن کر حضرت ابومسعود رضی اللہ عنہ کہنے لگے کہ میں نے یہ حدیث نبی کریم ﷺ سے سنی ہے۔
Hazrat Huzaifa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya Dajjal jis waqt khurooj karega uske saath pani aur aag hogi jo cheez logon ko aag nazar aayegi woh thanda pani hogi aur jo cheez pani nazar aayegi woh jala dene wali aag hogi, lihaza tum halaak na hojana yeh hadees sun kar Hazrat Abu Masood (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehne lage keh maine yeh hadees Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se suni hai.
Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that I heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying that in the old days, the Angel of Death came to a man to seize his soul and asked him, "Have you ever done any good deeds?" He said, "I don't know." The Angel said, "Think about it." He said, "I don't remember any good deeds except that I used to trade with people, and I used to give respite to the poor and forgive them." Allah Almighty forgave him. Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) also supported this narration.

حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ پہلے زمانے میں ایک آدمی کے پاس ملک الموت روح قبض کرنے کے لئے آئے تو اس سے پوچھا کہ تو نے کبھی کوئی نیکی بھی کی ہے؟ اس نے کہا مجھے معلوم نہیں اس نے کہا غور کرلو اس نے کہا کہ اور تو مجھے کوئی نیکی معلوم نہیں البتہ میں لوگوں کے ساتھ تجارت کرتا تھا اس میں تنگدست کو مہلت دے دیتا تھا اور اس سے درگذر کرلیتا تھا اللہ تعالیٰ نے اسے بخش دیا حضرت ابومسعود رضی اللہ عنہ نے اس پر بھی ان کی تائید کی۔
Hazrat Huzaifa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain keh main ne Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai keh pehle zamane mein ek aadmi ke pass Malakul Maut rooh qabz karne ke liye aaye to us se poocha keh too ne kabhi koi neki bhi ki hai? Us ne kaha mujhe maloom nahi us ne kaha ghor karlo us ne kaha keh aur to mujhe koi neki maloom nahi albatta main logon ke sath tijarat karta tha us mein tangdast ko mohlat de deta tha aur us se darguzar karleta tha Allah Ta'ala ne use bakhsh diya Hazrat Abu Masood (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne is par bhi un ki taeed ki.
It is narrated on the authority of Hadrat Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The superiority of a house which is far from the mosque over a house which is near to the mosque is like the superiority of one who prays over one who sits (idle) waiting for Jihad.

حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا دور والے گھر پر مسجد کے قریب والے گھر کی فضیلت ایسے ہے جیسے نمازی کی فضیلت جہاد کے انتظار میں بیٹھنے والے پر ہوتی ہے۔
Hazrat Huzaifa razi Allah anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya door wale ghar par masjid ke qareeb wale ghar ki fazilat aise hai jaise namaazi ki fazilat jihad ke intezar mein bethne wale par hoti hai.
Narrated by Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him): Once we were sitting with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and he said, "I do not know how long I will be among you. So follow these two after me," and he pointed to Abu Bakr and Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both). "And adhere firmly to the way of Umar, and confirm what Ibn Mas'ud narrates to you."

حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ ہم لوگ نبی کریم ﷺ کے پاس بیٹھے ہوئے تھے نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا میں نہیں جانتا کہ میں تمہارے درمیان کتنا عرصہ رہوں گا اس لئے ان دو آدمیوں کی پیروی کرنا جو میرے بعد ہوں گے اور حضرت ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ و عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کی طرف اشارہ فرمایا اور عمار کے طریقے کو مضبوطی سے تھامو اور ابن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ تم سے جو بات بیان کریں اس کی تصدیق کیا کرو۔
Hazrat Huzaifa razi Allah anhu se marvi hai ki ek martaba hum log Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke paas baithe huye thy Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya mein nahi janta ki mein tumhare darmiyan kitna arsa rahun ga is liye in do aadmiyon ki pairavi karna jo mere baad honge aur Hazrat Abubakar razi Allah anhu wa Umar razi Allah anhu ki taraf ishara farmaya aur Umar ke tarike ko mazbooti se thamo aur Ibn Masud razi Allah anhu tum se jo baat bayan karen us ki tasdiq kiya karo.
It is narrated on the authority of Hudhaifa bin Yaman, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: "The tale-carrier will not enter Paradise."

حضرت حذیفہ بن یمان رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا چغل خور جنت میں داخل نہ ہوگا۔
Hazrat Huzaifa bin Yaman (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya chuglkhor jannat mein dakhil na hoga.
Jundub narrated that on the day of Yarmuk, a man was present who said, "By Allah, today there will be bloodshed." Another man swore an oath and said, "No, never!" The first one asked, "Why didn't you say, 'Definitely'?" He replied, "It will never happen because it's a Hadith that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) narrated to me." The first man said, "By Allah, I considered you a bad companion. You heard me swearing an oath and still didn't stop me, even though you heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say something in this regard?" He continued, "Then I thought, what's the use of getting angry? So, I swallowed my anger, came to him, and started asking him questions. Later, I found out that he was Hudhaifa (may Allah be pleased with him)."

جندب کہتے ہیں کہ " یوم الجرعہ " کے موقع پر ایک آدمی موجود تھا وہ کہنے لگا کہ واللہ آج خون ریزی ہوگی دوسرے آدمی نے قسم کھا کر کہا ہرگز نہیں پہلے نے کہا کہ تم نے یہ کیوں نہ کہا " ضرور ''؟ اس نے کا ایسا ہرگز نہیں ہوگا کیونکہ یہ ایک حدیث ہے جو نبی کریم ﷺ نے مجھ سے بیان فرمائی ہے پہلے آدمی کا کہنا ہے کہ میں نے اس سے کہا واللہ میں تمہیں برا ہم نشین سمجھتا ہوں تم مجھے قسم کھاتے ہوئے سن رہے ہو اور پھر بھی مجھے منع نہیں کر رہے حالانکہ تم نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو اس حوالے سے کچھ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے؟ پھر میں نے سوچا کہ غصہ کرنے کا کیا فائدہ؟ سو میں نے غصہ تھوک دیا اور اس کے پاس آکر سوالات پوچھنے لگا بعد میں پتہ چلا کہ وہ حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ تھے۔
Jundab kehte hain ki "Yaum-ul-Jurra" ke mauqe par ek aadmi maujood tha woh kehne laga ki Wallaah aaj khoon rezi hogi doosre aadmi ne qasam kha kar kaha hargiz nahin pehle ne kaha ki tumne yeh kyun nah kaha "zaroor"? Usne ka aisa hargiz nahin hoga kyunki yeh ek hadees hai jo Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mujh se bayaan farmaai hai pehle aadmi ka kehna hai ki maine us se kaha Wallaah main tumhein bura hum nashim samajhta hun tum mujhe qasam khate hue sun rahe ho aur phir bhi mujhe mana nahin kar rahe halaanki tumne Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko is hawale se kuchh farmate hue suna hai? Phir maine socha ki gussa karne ka kya faida? So maine gussa thook diya aur uske paas aakar sawalat poochhne laga baad mein pata chala ki woh Hazrat Huzaifa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) the.
Thalbah ibn Zahdam said: Once, we were with Sa'eed ibn 'Aas, may Allah be pleased with him, in Tabaristan. He asked the people, "Who among you has prayed Salat al-Khawf (prayer of fear) with the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him?" Hudhayfah, may Allah be pleased with him, said, "I have." And he described it thus: The people formed two rows behind the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. One row stood facing the enemy, while the other row stood behind the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, for prayer. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, led them in one rak'ah (unit of prayer). Then, those who were behind him went to face the enemy, and those who had been facing the enemy came back and stood behind the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, led them in the second rak'ah and finished the prayer with the Salam (salutation of peace).

ثعلبہ بن زہدم کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ ہم لوگ طبرستان میں حضرت سعید بن عاص رضی اللہ عنہ کے ہمراہ تھے انہوں نے لوگوں سے پوچھا کہ تم میں سے نبی کریم ﷺ کے ساتھ صلوۃ الخوف کس نے پڑھی ہے؟ حضرت حذیفہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا میں نے اور وہ اس طرح کہ لوگوں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کے پیچھے دو صفیں بنالیں ایک صف دشمن کے سامنے کھڑی رہی اور ایک صف نبی کریم ﷺ کی اقتداء میں نماز کے لئے کھڑی ہوگئی نبی کریم ﷺ نے ان لوگوں کو ایک رکعت پڑھائی پھر یہ لوگ دشمن کے سامنے ڈٹے ہوئے لوگوں کی جگہ الٹے پاؤں چلے گئے اور وہ لوگ ان کی جگہ نبی کریم ﷺ کے پیچھے آکر کھڑے ہوگئے اور نبی کریم ﷺ نے انہیں دوسری رکعت پڑھائی اور سلام پھیر دیا۔
Saleeba bin Zahdam kehte hain ki ek martaba hum log Tabaristan mein Hazrat Saeed bin Aas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke hamrah the unhon ne logon se poocha ki tum mein se Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath Salat al-Khawf kis ne padhi hai Hazrat Huzaifa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne farmaya main ne aur wo is tarah ke logon ne Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke peeche do safein bana lein ek saf dushman ke samne khadi rahi aur ek saf Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki iqteda mein namaz ke liye khadi ho gayi Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne un logon ko ek rakat parhayi phir ye log dushman ke samne date hue logon ki jagah ulte paon chale gaye aur wo log un ki jagah Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke peeche aakar khade ho gaye aur Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unhen doosri rakat parhayi aur salam phir diya.
