It is narrated on the authority of Buraidah Aslami (may Allah be pleased with him) that once Aina bin Badr Aqra bin Habis and Alqama bin Ulatha were gathered in the service of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). These people started mentioning their grandfathers. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "If you people remain silent, I will tell you their reality." The grandfather of Banu Aamir is like that red or yellow camel which is eating leaves from different trees in a garden. The grandfather of Banu Ghaffan is like that wild donkey of a hilly terrain who keeps people away from itself. Upon this, Aqra bin Habis said, "Where did the grandfather of Banu Tamim go?" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Alas! You could have remained silent."

حضرت بریدہ اسلمی رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں عیینہ بن بدر اقرع بن حابس اور علقمہ بن علاثہ جمع تھے یہ لوگ دادوں کا تذکرہ کرنے لگے نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اگر تم لوگ خاموشی اختیار کرو تو میں تمہیں ان کی حقیقت بتاتا ہوں بنو عامر کا جد امجد تو اس سرخ یا گندمی اونٹ کی طرح ہے جو کسی باغ میں مختلف درختوں کے پتے کھا رہا ہو بنو غطفان کا جد امجد اس کھر درے ٹیلے کی طرح ہے جو لوگوں کو اپنے سے دور رکھتا ہے اس پر اقرع بن حابس نے کہا کہ بنو تمیم کا جد امجد کہاں گیا؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا کاش! تم خاموش رہ سکتے۔
Hazrat Buraidah Islami Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ki khidmat mein Uyainah bin Badr Aqra bin Habis aur Alqamah bin Ulatha jama thay, ye log dadon ka tazkara karne lage. Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne farmaya agar tum log khamoshi ikhtiyar karo to main tumhen in ki haqeeqat batata hoon.Bano Aamir ka jad-e-amjad to is surkh ya gundmi oont ki tarha hai jo kisi bagh mein mukhtalif darakhton ke pattay kha raha ho.Bano Ghuftaan ka jad-e-amjad is khar daray talay ki tarha hai jo logon ko apne se door rakhta hai. Is par Aqra bin Habis ne kaha ki Bano Tamim ka jad-e-amjad kahan gaya? Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne farmaya kash! tum khamosh reh sakte.
Narrated by Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the mountain of Hira shook, upon which at that time were the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and Abu Bakr, Umar and Uthman Ghani (may Allah be pleased with them). The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "O Hira, be still, for upon you are none other than a Prophet, a Siddiq (truthful companion) and two martyrs."

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ حراء پہاڑ لرزنے لگا جس پر اس وقت نبی کریم ﷺ اور حضرت ابوبکر و عمر و عثمان غنی رضی اللہ عنہ موجود تھے نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اے حراء تھم جا تجھ پر ایک نبی ایک صدیق اور دو شہیدوں کے علاوہ کوئی نہیں۔
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ke ek martaba Hira pahad larazne laga jis par us waqt Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) aur Hazrat Abu Bakar o Umar o Usman Ghani Raziallahu Anhum mojood thay Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya aye Hira thamm ja tujh par ek Nabi ek Siddique aur do shaheedon ke ilawa koi nahin.
Narrated Buraidah (R.A.): I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying: The thing that distinguishes between us and the polytheists is prayer, so whoever leaves the prayer has committed infidelity (kufr).

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ ہمارے مشرکین کے درمیان فرق کرنے والی چیز نماز ہے لہٰذا جو شخص نماز چھوڑ دیتا ہے وہ کفر کرتا ہے۔
Hazrat Buraidah RA se marvi hai ke maine Nabi Kareem SAW ko ye farmate hue suna hai ke hamare mushrikeen ke darmiyaan farq karne wali cheez namaz hai lihaza jo shakhs namaz chhor deta hai wo kufr karta hai.
Narrated by Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Mushrooms are a cure for the eyes, Ajwa dates are a fruit of Paradise and it is black seed in salt which is a cure for every disease except death.

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا کھنبی آنکھوں کے لئے علاج ہے عجوہ جنت کا میوہ ہے اور یہ کلونجی جو نمک میں ہو موت کے علاوہ ہر بیماری کا علاج ہے۔
Hazrat Buraidah RA se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem SAW ne irshad farmaya khurmay aankhon ke liye ilaj hai ajwa jannat ka mewa hai aur yeh kalonji jo namak mein ho maut ke ilawa har bimari ka ilaj hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Do not call a hypocrite your master and leader because if he becomes your master, you will displease your Lord.

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا منافق کو اپنا آقا اور سردار مت کہا کرو کیونکہ اگر وہی تمہارا آقا ہو تو تم اپنے رب کو ناراض کرتے ہو۔
Hazrat Buraidah razi Allah anhu se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya munafiq ko apna aqa aur sardar mat kaha karo kyunki agar wohi tumhara aqa ho to tum apne Rab ko naraz karte ho.
It is narrated on the authority of Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: There will be one hundred and twenty rows of the people of Paradise, out of which eighty rows will be only of this Ummah (Muslim nation).

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا اہل جنت کی ایک سو بیس صفیں ہوں گی جن میں اسی صفیں صرف اس امت کی ہوں گی۔

Abdullah bin Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Once, I went with my father to see Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him). He made us sit on his bed and then food was brought which we ate. Then a drink (nabidh) was brought which Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) drank first and then offered the cup to my father. He said, ‘I have not drunk it since the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade it.’ Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) said, ‘I was the most handsome youth of Quraysh, with the best teeth. I never enjoyed anything more than it, except for milk or the company of people who spoke well.'"

حضرت عبداللہ بن بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ میں اور میرے والد حضرت امیر معاویہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس گئے انہوں نے ہمیں بستر پر بٹھایا پھر کھانا پیش کیا جو ہم نے کھایا پھر پینے کی لئے (نبیذ) لائی گئی جسے پہلے حضرت معاویہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے نوش فرمایا پھر میرے والد کو اس کا برتن پکڑا دیا تو وہ کہنے لگے کہ جب سے نبی کریم ﷺ نے اس کی ممانعت فرمائی ہے میں نے اسے نہیں پیا پھر حضرت معاویہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا کہ میں قریش کا خوبصورت ترین نوجوان تھا اور سب سے زیادہ عمدہ دانتوں والا تھا مجھے دودھ یا اچھی باتیں کرنے والے انسانوں کے علاوہ اس سے بڑھ کر کسی چیز میں لذت نہیں محسوس ہوتی تھی۔
Hazrat Abdullah bin Buraidah raziallahu anhu kehte hain ki ek martaba main aur mere walid Hazrat Ameer Muawiyah raziallahu anhu ke paas gaye unhon ne hamen bistar par bithaya phir khana pesh kiya jo hum ne khaya phir pine ke liye (nabeez) laayi gayi jise pehle Hazrat Muawiyah raziallahu anhu ne nosh farmaya phir mere walid ko uska bartan pakra diya to wo kehne lage ki jab se Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne iski mamanat farmayi hai main ne ise nahi piya phir Hazrat Muawiyah raziallahu anhu ne farmaya ki main Quresh ka khoobsorat tareen naujawan tha aur sab se zyada umdah danton wala tha mujhe doodh ya acchi baaten karne wale insano ke ilawa is se barh kar kisi cheez mein lazzat nahi mehsoos hoti thi.
It is narrated by Buraidah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that once I was in the service of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) when a man named Ma'iz bin Malik came and submitted, "O Prophet of Allah! I have committed the sin of fornication. I want you to purify me." The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said, "Go back." The next day he came again and confessed to fornication again. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) sent him back again. Then the Prophet (PBUH) sent a man to his people and asked, "What do you know about Ma'iz bin Malik Aslami? Do you see anything inappropriate in him or do you find any defect in his intellect?" They submitted, "O Prophet of Allah! We do not see anything inappropriate in him, nor do we find any defect in his intellect."
Then he came to the Holy Prophet (PBUH) for the third time and confessed to fornication again and said, "O Prophet of Allah! Purify me." The Holy Prophet (PBUH) again sent a man to his people with the same question, so they repeated the same answer as before. Then when he confessed for the fourth time, the Holy Prophet (PBUH) ordered, and a pit was dug for him and he was lowered into it up to his chest. Then the people were ordered to stone him.
Buraidah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) says that we, the companions (رضي الله تعالى عنه), used to say this among ourselves that if Ma'iz had stayed in his house even after confessing three times, the Holy Prophet (PBUH) would not have searched for him. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) ordered him to be stoned only after he confessed for the fourth time.

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر تھا کہ ماعز بن مالک نامی ایک آدمی آیا اور عرض کیا اے اللہ کے نبی! مجھ سے بدکاری کا گناہ سرزد ہوگیا ہے میں چاہتا ہوں کہ آپ مجھے پاک کردیں نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا واپس چلے جاؤ اگلے دن وہ دوبارہ حاضر ہوا اور دوبارہ بدکاری کا اعتراف کیا نبی کریم ﷺ نے اسے دوبارہ واپس بھیج دیا پھر ایک آدمی کو اس کی قوم میں بھیج کر ان سے پوچھا کہ تم لوگ ماعز بن مالک اسلمی کے متعلق کیا جانتے ہو؟ کیا تم اس میں کوئی نامناسب چیز دیکھتے ہو یا اس کی عقل میں کچھ نقص محسوس ہوتا ہے؟ انہوں نے عرض کیا اے اللہ کے نبی! ہم اس میں کوئی نامناسب بات نہیں دیکھتے اور اس کی عقل میں کوئی نقص بھی محسوس نہیں کرتے۔
پھر وہ تیسری مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا اور پھر بدکاری کا اعتراف کیا اور کہا کہ اے اللہ کے نبی! مجھے پاک کر دیجئے نبی کریم ﷺ نے دوبارہ اس کی قوم کی طرف ایک آدمی کو وہی سوال دے کر بھیجا تو انہوں نے حسب سابق جواب دہرایا پھر جب اس نے چوتھی مرتبہ اعتراف کیا تو نبی کریم ﷺ نے حکم دیا اور اس کے لئے ایک گڑھا کھود دیا گیا اور اسے سینے تک اس گڑھے میں اتار دیا گیا پھر لوگوں کو اس پر پتھرم ارنے کا حکم دیا۔
حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہم آپس میں یہ باتیں کیا کرتے تھے کہ اگر ماعز تین مرتبہ اعتراف کرنے کے بعد بھی اپنے گھر میں بیٹھ جاتے تو نبی کریم ﷺ انہیں تلاش نہ کرواتے نبی کریم ﷺ نے چوتھی مرتبہ اعتراف کے بعد ہی انہیں رجم فرمایا۔
Hazrat Buraidah razi Allah anhu se marvi hai ki ek martaba main Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir tha ki Maaz bin Malik nami ek aadmi aaya aur arz kiya aye Allah ke Nabi! mujh se badkari ka gunah sarzad hogaya hai main chahta hun ki aap mujhe pak kar den Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya wapas chale jao agle din wo dobara hazir hua aur dobara badkari ka ehtraaf kiya Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne use dobara wapas bhej diya phir ek aadmi ko uski qaum mein bhej kar un se pucha ki tum log Maaz bin Malik Islami ke mutalliq kya jante ho? kya tum is mein koi naamunasib cheez dekhte ho ya iski aql mein kuch nuqsan mehsoos hota hai? unhon ne arz kiya aye Allah ke Nabi! hum is mein koi naamunasib baat nahin dekhte aur iski aql mein koi nuqsan bhi mehsoos nahin karte.
Phir wo teesri martaba Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir hua aur phir badkari ka ehtraaf kiya aur kaha ki aye Allah ke Nabi! mujhe pak kar dijiye Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne dobara uski qaum ki taraf ek aadmi ko wohi sawal de kar bheja to unhon ne hasb sabiq jawab dohraaya phir jab usne chauthi martaba ehtraaf kiya to Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne hukum diya aur uske liye ek garha khod diya gaya aur use seene tak is garhe mein utar diya gaya phir logon ko is par pathar marne ka hukum diya.
Hazrat Buraidah razi Allah anhu kahte hain ki hum sahaba kiram razi Allah anhum aapas mein ye baaten kiya karte the ki agar Maaz teen martaba ehtraaf karne ke baad bhi apne ghar mein baith jate to Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) unhen talaash na karwate Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne chauthi martaba ehtraaf ke baad hi unhen rajm farmaya.
Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) once went to Muawiyah (may Allah be pleased with him), where a man was speaking. Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) said, “O Muawiyah! Will you allow me to speak?” He said, “Yes!” He thought that he ( Buraidah) would also say something like the first man. But Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) said, “I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying, 'I hope that on the Day of Judgment I will intercede for as many people as there are trees and clods of earth.' O Muawiyah! Can you expect this intercession and Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) cannot?"

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ ایک مرتبہ حضرت معاویہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس گئے وہاں ایک آدمی بات کر رہا تھا حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا معاویہ! کیا آپ مجھے بولنے کی اجازت دیتے ہیں انہوں نے فرمایا ہاں! ان کا خیال یہ تھا کہ وہ بھی پہلے آدمی کی طرح کوئی بات کریں گے لیکن حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے مجھے امید ہے کہ قیامت کے دن میں اتنے لوگوں کی سفارش کروں گا جتنے زمین پر درخت اور مٹی ہے اے معاویہ! تم اس شفاعت کی امید رکھ سکتے ہو اور حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ اس کی امید نہیں رکھ سکتے؟
Hazrat Bareedah razi Allah anhu aik martaba Hazrat Muawiya razi Allah anhu ke pas gaye wahan aik aadmi baat kar raha tha Hazrat Bareedah razi Allah anhu ne farmaya Muawiya kya aap mujhe bolne ki ijazat dete hain unhon ne farmaya haan unka khyal yeh tha ke woh bhi pehle aadmi ki tarah koi baat karenge lekin Hazrat Bareedah razi Allah anhu ne farmaya ke maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko yeh farmate huye suna hai mujhe umeed hai ke qayamat ke din mein itne logon ki sifarish karunga jitne zameen par darakht aur mitti hai aye Muawiya tum is shifaat ki umeed rakh sakte ho aur Hazrat Ali razi Allah anhu iski umeed nahin rakh sakte
It is narrated on the authority of Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man from the tribe of Azd passed away and left behind no heir. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Search for his heir, search for a close relative of his." But despite the search, no one was found. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Give his wealth to the oldest man of the tribe of Khuza'ah."

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ قبیلہ ازد کا ایک آدمی فوت ہوگیا اور پیچھے کوئی وارث چھوڑ کر نہیں گیا نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اس کا کوئی وارث تلاش کرو اس کا کوئی قریبی رشتہ دار تلاش کرو لیکن تلاش کے باوجود کوئی نہ مل سکا نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اس کا مال خزاعہ کے سب سے بڑے آدمی کو دے دو۔
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki qabeela Azd ka aik aadmi foot hogaya aur peeche koi waris chhor kar nahi gaya Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya is ka koi waris talash karo is ka koi qareebi rishta dar talash karo lekin talash ke bawajood koi na mil saka Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya is ka maal Khuzaah ke sab se bade aadmi ko de do.
Narrated by Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him): I was with Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) during Jihad in Yemen. I faced some harshness from him. So, when I was in the presence of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), I spoke ill of Ali (may Allah be pleased with him). I saw that the color of the Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) face changed. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "O Buraidah! Don't I have more right over the Muslims than their own selves?" I said, "Why not, O Messenger of Allah!" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Whoever loves me should also love Ali."

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں یمن میں جہاد کے موقع پر حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ کے ساتھ شریک تھا مجھے ان کی طرف سے سختی کا سامنا ہوا لہٰذا جب میں نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا تو حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ کا ذکر کرتے ہوئے ان کی شان میں کوتاہی کی میں نے دیکھا کہ نبی کریم ﷺ کے چہرہ انور کا رنگ تبدیل ہو رہا ہے پھر نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اے بریدہ! کیا مجھے مسلمانوں پر ان کی اپنی جانوں سے زیادہ حق نہیں ہے؟ میں نے عرض کیا کیوں نہیں یا رسول اللہ! نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا میں جس کا محبوب ہوں تو علی بھی اس کے محبوب ہونے چاہئیں۔
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai keh mein Yemen mein jihad ke mauqe par Hazrat Ali Raziallahu Anhu ke sath sharik tha mujhe un ki taraf se sakhti ka samna hua lihaza jab mein Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir hua to Hazrat Ali Raziallahu Anhu ka zikar karte huye un ki shan mein kotahi ki maine dekha keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke chehra anwar ka rang tabdeel ho raha hai phir Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya aye Buraidah! kya mujhe musalmanon par un ki apni jaano se zyada haq nahin hai? maine arz kiya kyun nahin ya Rasulullah! Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya mein jis ka mahboob hun to Ali bhi us ke mahboob hone chahiyen.
It is narrated on the authority of Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not believe in bad omens. However, when he intended to go to a certain area, he would first ask its name. If the name was good, then the effects of joy could be seen on the blessed face of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). And if the name was not good, then its effects could also be seen on his blessed face. Similarly, when he used to send someone somewhere, he would first ask his name. If the name was good, then the effects of joy could be seen on his blessed face. And if the name was bad, its effects could also be seen.

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ کسی چیز سے شگون بد نہیں لیتے تھے البتہ جب کسی علاقے میں جانے کا ارادہ فرماتے تو پہلے اس کا نام پوچھتے اگر اس کا نام اچھا ہوتا تو نبی کریم ﷺ کے روئے مبارک پر بشاشت کے اثرات دیکھے جاسکتے تھے اور اگر اس اس کا نام اچھا نہ ہوتا تو اس کے اثرات بھی چہرہ مبارک پر نظر آجاتے تھے اسی طرح جب کسی آدمی کو کہیں بھیجتے تھے تو پہلے اس کا نام پوچھتے تھے، اگر اس کا نام اچھا ہوتا تو بشاشت کے اثرات روئے مبارک پر دیکھے جاسکتے تھے اور اگر نام برا ہوتا تو اس کے اثرات بھی نظر آجاتے تھے۔
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) kisi cheez se shagun bad nahi lete the albatta jab kisi ilaqay mein janay ka irada farmate to pehle us ka naam poochte agar us ka naam acha hota to Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke rooye mubarak par bashashat ke asrat dekhe ja sakte the aur agar us ka naam acha na hota to us ke asrat bhi chehra mubarak par nazar aate the isi tarah jab kisi aadmi ko kahin bhejte the to pehle us ka naam poochte the, agar us ka naam acha hota to bashashat ke asrat rooye mubarak par dekhe ja sakte the aur agar naam bura hota to us ke asrat bhi nazar aate the.
Narrated by Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him): I heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: I and the Day of Judgment were sent together, and it was close that it preceded me.

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے مجھے اور قیامت کو ایک ساتھ بھیجا گیا ہے قریب تھا کہ وہ مجھ سے پہلے آجاتی۔

Narrated Buraidah (رضي الله تعالى عنه): Once the Holy Prophet (PBUH) came to us and called out three times, "O people! Do you know what my example and yours is?" The people said, "Allah and His Messenger know best." He (PBUH) said, "My example and yours is like that of a man whose people sent him as a scout. When he feared that the enemy would overtake him, he waved his clothes to warn the people, saying, 'The enemy is upon you!'" Then the Holy Prophet (PBUH) said, "That man is me."

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ ہمارے پاس تشریف لائے اور تین مرتبہ پکار کر فرمایا لوگو! کیا تم جانتے ہو کہ میری اور تمہاری کیا مثال ہے؟ لوگوں نے کہا اللہ اور اس کے رسول زیادہ جانتے ہیں فرمایا کہ میری اور تمہاری مثال اس شخص کی سی ہے جسے اس کی قوم نے ہر اول کے طور پر بھیجا ہو جب اسے اندیشہ ہو کہ دشمن اس سے آگے بڑھ جائے گا تو وہ اپنے کپڑے ہلا ہلا کر لوگوں کو خبردار کرے کہ تم پر دشمن آپہنچا پھر نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا وہ آدمی میں ہوں۔

Logon ne kaha Allah aur uske rasool zyada jante hain farmaya ki meri aur tumhari misaal us shaks ki si hai jise uski qaum ne harawal ke tor par bhijha ho jab use andesha ho ki dushman usse aage badh jayega to wo apne kapre hila hila kar logon ko khabar dar kare ki tum par dushman aa pahuncha phir Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya wo aadmi main hun.
It is narrated on the authority of Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I was sitting with the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) when a woman from the tribe of Ghamid came and said: "O Prophet of Allah! I have committed fornication. I want you to purify me." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sent her back. The next day she came again and confessed again, saying: "Perhaps you want to send me back like the goat. By Allah, I am hopeful." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to her: "Go back until you give birth to the child." So when her child was born, she came carrying the child and said: "O Prophet of Allah! This child is born." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Go and breastfeed him." When she had weaned him, she came with the child, who was carrying a piece of bread in his hand, and said: "O Prophet of Allah! I have weaned him." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave the child to a Muslim and ordered that a pit be dug for the woman. She was lowered into it up to her chest, and the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered the people to stone her. Khalid bin Waleed (may Allah be pleased with him) brought a stone and hit her on the head. Blood spurted out and fell on the face of Khalid (may Allah be pleased with him). He cursed her harshly. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) heard this and said: "Stop it, Khalid! Do not curse her. By Him in Whose hand is my soul, she has repented in such a way that if the one who unjustly collects taxes were to repent like her, he would also be forgiven." Then, on the order of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), her funeral prayer was offered, and she was buried.

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نبی کریم ﷺ کے پاس بیٹھا ہوا تھا کہ " غامد " سے ایک عورت آئی اور کہنے لگی کہ اے اللہ کے نبی! مجھ سے بدکاری کا ارتکاب ہوگیا ہے چاہتی ہوں کہ آپ مجھے پاک کردیں نبی کریم ﷺ نے اسے واپس بھیج دیا اگلے دن وہ پھر آگئی اور دوبارہ اعتراف کرتے ہوئے کہنے لگی کہ شاید آپ مجھے بھی ماعز کی طرح واپس بھیجنا چاہتے ہیں واللہ میں تو " امید " سے ہوں نبی کریم ﷺ نے اس سے فرمایا واپس چلی جاؤ یہاں تک کہ بچہ پیدا ہوجائے چنانچہ جب اس کے یہاں بچہ پیدا ہوچکا تو وہ بچے کو اٹھائے ہوئے پھر آگئی اور کہنے لگی کہ اے اللہ کے نبی! یہ بچہ پیدا ہوگیا نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا جاؤ اور اسے دودھ پلاؤ چنانچہ جب اس نے اس کا دودھ بھی چھڑا دیا تو وہ بچے کو لے کر آئی اس وقت بچے کے ہاتھ میں روٹی کا ٹکڑا تھا اور کہنے لگی اے اللہ کے نبی! میں نے اس کا دودھ بھی چھڑا دیا ہے نبی کریم ﷺ نے وہ بچہ ایک مسلمان کے حوالے کردیا اور اس عورت کے لئے گڑھا کھودنے کا حکم دے دیا پھر اسے سینے تک اس میں اتارا گیا اور نبی کریم ﷺ نے لوگوں کو اس پر پتھر مارنے کا حکم دیا حضرت خالد بن ولید رضی اللہ عنہ ایک پتھر لے کر آئے اور اس کے سر پر مارا اس سے خون نکل کر حضرت خالد رضی اللہ عنہ کے رخسار پر گرا انہوں نے اسے سخت سست کہا نبی کریم ﷺ نے سنا تو فرمایا رکو خالد! اسے برا بھلا مت کہو اس ذات کی قسم جس کے دست قدرت میں میری جان ہے اس نے ایسی توبہ کی ہے کہ اگر ٹیکس وصولی میں ظلم کرنے والا کرلے تو اس کی بھی بخشش ہوجائے پھر نبی کریم ﷺ کے حکم پر اسے نماز جنازہ پڑھ کر دفن کیا گیا۔
Hazrat Buraidah Razi Allah Anhu se marvi hai ki aik martaba main Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke pass baitha hua tha ki "Ghamid" se aik aurat aai aur kahne lagi ki aye Allah ke Nabi! mujh se badkari ka irtikab hogaya hai chahti hun ki aap mujhe pak kar den Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne use wapas bhej diya agle din woh phir aagai aur dobara ietaraf karte hue kahne lagi ki shayad aap mujhe bhi Maaz ki tarah wapas bhejna chahte hain Wallahi main to "Umeed" se hun Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne us se farmaya wapas chali jao yahan tak ki baccha paida ho jae chunancha jab us ke yahan baccha paida hochuka to woh bacche ko uthaye hue phir aagai aur kahne lagi ki aye Allah ke Nabi! yeh baccha paida hogaya Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya jao aur use doodh pilao chunancha jab us ne us ka doodh bhi chhuda diya to woh bacche ko le kar aai us waqt bacche ke hath mein roti ka tukda tha aur kahne lagi aye Allah ke Nabi! main ne us ka doodh bhi chhuda diya hai Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne woh baccha aik musalman ke hawale kar diya aur us aurat ke liye gadha khodne ka hukum de diya phir use seene tak us mein utara gaya aur Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne logon ko us par pathar marne ka hukum diya Hazrat Khalid bin Waleed Razi Allah Anhu aik pathar le kar aaye aur us ke sar par mara us se khoon nikal kar Hazrat Khalid Razi Allah Anhu ke rukhsar par gira unhon ne use sakht sust kaha Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne suna to farmaya ruko Khalid! use bura bhala mat kaho is zaat ki qasam jis ke dast qudrat mein meri jaan hai us ne aisi tauba ki hai ki agar tax wasuli mein zulm karne wala kar le to us ki bhi بخشش ho jae phir Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke hukum par use namaz janaza padh kar dafan kiya gaya.
Narrated Buraidah (R.A.) that once I was present in the gathering of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). I heard the Prophet (PBUH) saying, "Learn Surah Baqarah because acquiring it is a blessing and abandoning it is a cause of regret, and the wrongdoers cannot bear its power." Then, after a short pause, he said, "Learn Surah Baqarah and Surah Al-Imran, because these two bright Surahs will shade their reciters on the Day of Judgment like clouds, canopies, or two flocks of birds." And on the Day of Judgment, when the grave of a person will be opened, the Quran will come to him "like a thin man" and will ask him, "Do you recognize me?" He will say, "I don't recognize you." The Quran will say, "I am your companion, the Quran, who kept you thirsty in the scorching heat of the afternoon and woke you up at night. Every merchant is behind his trade, today you will also be behind your trade." So, authority will be given in his right hand and eternity in his left hand, and a crown of honor will be placed on his head. His parents will be clothed in such garments whose value all the people of the world together cannot afford. His parents will ask, "Why are we being dressed in these clothes?" It will be said, "This is due to the blessing of your son's acquisition of the Quran." Then it will be said to him, "Start reciting the Quran and ascend the levels and palaces of Paradise." So, as long as he keeps reciting, he will keep ascending, whether he recites quickly or slowly.

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نبی کریم ﷺ کی مجلس میں شریک تھا میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا کہ سورت بقرہ کو سیکھو کیونکہ اس کا حاصل کرنا برکت اور چھوڑنا حسرت ہے اور غلط کار لوگ اس کی طاقت نہیں رکھتے پھر تھوڑی دیر خاموش رہنے کے بعد فرمایا سورت بقرہ اور آل عمران دونوں کو سیکھو کیونکہ یہ دونوں روشن سورتیں اپنے پڑھنے والوں پر قیامت کے دن بادلوں سائبانوں یا پرندوں کی دو ٹولیوں کی صورت میں سایہ کریں گی اور قیامت کے دن جب انسان کی قبر شق ہوگی تو قرآن اپنے پڑھنے والے سے " جو لاغر آدمی کی طرح ہوگا ملے گا اور اس سے پوچھے گا کہ کیا تم مجھے پہچانتے ہو؟ وہ کہے گا کہ میں تمہیں نہیں پہچانتا، قرآن کہے گا کہ میں تمہارا وہی ساتھی قرآن ہوں جس نے تمہیں سخت گرم دو پہروں میں پیاسا رکھا اور راتوں کو جگایا ہر تاجر اپنی تجارت کے پیچھے ہوتا ہے آج بھی اپنی تجارت کے پیچھے ہوگے چنانچہ اس کے دائیں ہاتھ میں حکومت اور بائیں ہاتھ میں دوام دے دیا جائے گا اور اس کے سر پر وقار کا تاج رکھاجائے گا اور اس کے والدین کو ایسے جوڑے پہنائے جائیں گے جن کی قیمت ساری دنیا کے لوگ مل کر بھی ادا نہ کرسکیں گے اس کے والدین پوچھیں گے کہ ہمیں یہ لباس کس بنا پر پہنایا جا رہا ہے؟ تو جواب دیا جائے گا کہ تمہارے بچے کے قرآن حاصل کرنے کی برکت سے پھر اس سے کہا جائے کا کہ قرآن پڑھنا اور جنت کے درجات اور بالاخانوں پر چڑھنا شروع کردو چنانچہ جب تک وہ پڑھتا رہے گا چڑھتا رہے گا خواہ تیزی کے ساتھ پڑھے یا ٹھہر ٹھہر کر۔
Hazrat Buraidah razi Allah anhu se marvi hai ki ek martaba main Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki majlis mein shareek tha maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna ki Surah Baqarah ko seekho kyunki iska hasil karna barkat aur chhorna hasrat hai aur galat kar log iski taqat nahin rakhte phir thori der khamosh rahne ke baad farmaya Surah Baqarah aur Al Imran dono ko seekho kyunki ye dono roshan suraten apne padhne walon par qayamat ke din badlon saiban on ya parindon ki do toliyon ki surat mein saya karengi aur qayamat ke din jab insan ki qabar shaq hogi to Quran apne padhne wale se jo laghar aadmi ki tarah hoga milay ga aur is se puchhega ki kya tum mujhe pehchante ho woh kahega ki main tumhen nahin pehchanta Quran kahega ki main tumhara wohi sathi Quran hun jisne tumhen sakht garm do pehron mein pyasa rakha aur raaton ko jagaya har tajir apni tijarat ke peeche hota hai aaj bhi apni tijarat ke peeche hoge chunancha iske dayen hath mein hukumat aur bayen hath mein dawam de diya jayega aur iske sar par waqar ka taj rakha jayega aur iske waldain ko aise jode pahnaye jayenge jin ki qeemat sari duniya ke log mil kar bhi ada na karsaken ge iske waldain puchenge ki hamen ye libas kis bana par pahnaya ja raha hai to jawab diya jayega ki tumhare bache ke Quran hasil karne ki barkat se phir is se kaha jayega ki Quran padhna aur jannat ke darjat aur balakhanon par chadhna shuru kardo chunancha jab tak woh padhta rahega chadhta rahega chahe tezi ke sath padhe ya thehr thehr kar.
Narrated Buraidah (رضي الله تعالى عنه): Once I was attending the gathering of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). I heard him saying that my Ummah will be driven (attacked) by a nation with broad faces and small eyes, their faces will be like shields (He repeated this thrice) to the extent that they will reach the Arabian Peninsula. At the time of their first attack, those who flee will be saved. At the time of their second attack, some will be killed and some will survive. And at the time of their third attack, all those who survive will be in the fields. People asked, O Prophet of Allah, who will they be? The Holy Prophet (PBUH) replied, The Turks. By the One in whose hand is my soul, they will tie their horses to the pillars of the mosques of the Muslims. After hearing this Hadith from the Holy Prophet (PBUH) regarding the trial of the Turks, Buraidah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) always kept two or three camels ready with travel supplies and waterskins so that he could leave immediately.

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نبی کریم ﷺ کی مجلس میں شریک تھا میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ میری امت کو چوڑے چہروں اور چھوٹی آنکھوں والی ایک قوم ہانک دے گی جس کے چہرے ڈھال کی طرح ہوں گے (تین مرتبہ فرمایا) حتیٰ کہ وہ انہیں جزیرہ عرب میں پہنچا دیں گے۔
سابقہ اولیٰ کے وقت تو جو لوگ بھاگ جائیں گے وہ بچ جائیں گے سابقہ ثانیہ کے وقت کچھ لوگ ہلاک ہوجائیں گے اور کچھ بچ جائیں گے اور سابقہ ثالثہ کے وقت بچ جانے والے تمام افراد کھیت ہو رہیں گے لوگوں نے پوچھا اے اللہ کے نبی وہ کون لوگ ہوں گے؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا ترکی کے لوگ اس ذات کی قسم جس کے دست قدرت میں میری جان ہے وہ اپنے گھوڑوں کو مسلمانوں کی مسجدوں کے ستونوں سے ضرور باندھیں گے ترکوں کے اس آزمائشی فتنے کے متعلق نبی کریم ﷺ سے یہ حدیث سننے کے بعد حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ ہمیشہ اپنے ساتھ دو تین اونٹ سامان سفر اور مشکیزے تیار رکھتے تھے تاکہ فوری طور پر وہاں سے روانہ ہوسکیں۔

Sabeqa ula ke waqt to jo log bhaag jayenge woh bach jayenge sabeqa saniyah ke waqt kuch log halaak hojayenge aur kuch bach jayenge aur sabeqa salisa ke waqt bach jane wale tamam afraad khet ho rahe honge logon ne pucha aye Allah ke nabi woh kon log honge? Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya Turkey ke log is zaat ki qasam jis ke dast qudrat mein meri jaan hai woh apne ghoron ko musalmanon ki masjidon ke sutunon se zarur bandhenge Turkon ke is azmaishi fitne ke mutalliq Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se ye hadees sunne ke baad Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu hamesha apne sath do teen unt saman safar aur mashkize taiyar rakhte the taake fori tor par wahan se rawana hosaken.
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Buraidah (R.A.) that once he went out at night and met the Holy Prophet (PBUH). The Holy Prophet (PBUH) held his hand and entered the mosque. Suddenly, he heard the voice of a man reciting the Quran. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said, "Do you consider him a hypocrite?". Buraidah (R.A.) remained silent. That man was praying, "O Allah! I ask you, for I bear witness that You are Allah, there is no god but You, the One, the Self-Sufficient, He begets not nor is He begotten, and there is none comparable to Him." The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said, "By Him in whose hand is my soul, he has invoked Allah with His Greatest Name, which, when invoked with, He surely grants, and when supplicated with, He surely answers."
The next night, Hazrat Buraidah (R.A.) again went out after Isha prayer and met the Holy Prophet (PBUH). The Holy Prophet (PBUH) again held his hand and entered the mosque. Similarly, he heard the voice of a man reciting the Quran. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) asked, "Do you consider him a hypocrite?". Buraidah (R.A.) said, "O Messenger of Allah! Do you consider him a hypocrite?". The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said twice, "No, but he is a penitent and a believer." It was the voice of Hazrat Abu Musa Ash'ari (R.A.) who was reciting the Quran in a corner of the mosque. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said, "Ash'ari has been given one of the beautiful voices of Hazrat Dawud (A.S.)." I said, "O Messenger of Allah! Should I not tell him this?". The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said, "Why not, tell him." So I told him. He started saying, "You are my friend that you told me a Hadith of the Holy Prophet (PBUH)".

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ وہ رات کو نکلے تو نبی کریم ﷺ سے ملاقات ہوگئی نبی کریم ﷺ نے ان کا ہاتھ پکڑا اور مسجد میں داخل ہوگئے اچانک اس آدمی کی تلاوت قرآن کی آواز آئی نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا کیا تم اسے ریاکار سمجھتے ہو؟ بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ خاموش رہے وہ آدمی یہ دعاء کر رہا تھا کہ اے اللہ! میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں کیونکہ میں اس بات کی گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ تو وہی اللہ ہے جس کے علاوہ کوئی معبود نہیں اکیلا ہے بےنیاز ہے اس کی کوئی اولاد ہے نہ وہ کسی کی اولاد ہے اور اس کا کوئی ہمسر نہیں ہے نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اس ذات کی قسم جس کے دست قدرت میں میری جان ہے اس نے اللہ کے اس اسم اعظم کا واسطہ دے کر سوال کیا ہے کہ جب اس کے ذریعے سوال کیا جائے تو اللہ تعالیٰ ضرور عطا فرماتا ہے اور جب دعا کی جائے تو ضرور قبول فرماتا ہے۔
اگلی رات حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ پھر عشاء کے بعد نکلے اور پھر نبی کریم ﷺ سے ملاقات ہوگئی اور نبی کریم ﷺ پھر ان کا ہاتھ پکڑ کر مسجد میں داخل ہوگئے اور اسی طرح ایک آدمی کے قرآن پڑھنے کی آواز آئی نبی کریم ﷺ نے پوچھا کیا تم اسے ریاکار سمجھتے ہو؟ بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے عرض یا رسول اللہ! کیا آپ اسے ریاکار سمجھتے ہیں؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے دو مرتبہ فرمایا نہیں بلکہ یہ رجوع کرنے والا اور مومن ہے یہ آواز حضرت ابوموسیٰ اشعری رضی اللہ عنہ کی تھی جو مسجد کے ایک کونے میں قرآن پڑھ رہے تھے نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اشعری کو حضرت داؤد علیہ السلام کے خوبصورت لہجوں میں سے ایک لہجہ دیا گیا ہے میں نے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ! کیا میں انہیں یہ بات بتا نہ دوں؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا کیوں نہیں بتادو چنانچہ میں نے انہیں یہ بات بتادی وہ کہنے لگے کہ آپ میرے دوست ہیں کہ آپ نے مجھے نبی کریم ﷺ کی ایک حدیث بتائی۔

Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unka hath pakra aur masjid mein dakhil hogaye. Achanak us aadmi ki tilawat Quran ki aawaz aayi. Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya kya tum use riyakar samajhte ho? Buraidah razi Allah anhu khamosh rahe. Woh aadmi yeh dua kar raha tha ki aye Allah! main tujhse sawal karta hun kyunki main is baat ki gawahi deta hun ki tu wohi Allah hai jiske alawa koi mabood nahi akela hai beniaz hai iski koi aulad hai na woh kisi ki aulad hai aur iska koi humsar nahi hai. Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya is zaat ki qasam jis ke dast qudrat mein meri jaan hai usne Allah ke is ism e azam ka wasta dekar sawal kiya hai ki jab iske zariye sawal kiya jaye to Allah ta'ala zaroor ata farmata hai aur jab dua ki jaye to zaroor qubool farmata hai.
Agli raat Hazrat Buraidah razi Allah anhu phir isha ke baad nikle aur phir Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se mulaqat hogayi aur Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) phir unka hath pakar kar masjid mein dakhil hogaye aur isi tarah ek aadmi ke Quran padhne ki aawaz aayi. Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne pucha kya tum use riyakar samajhte ho? Buraidah razi Allah anhu ne arz kiya Ya Rasul Allah! kya aap use riyakar samajhte hain? Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne do martaba farmaya nahi balki yeh ruju karne wala aur momin hai. Yeh aawaz Hazrat Abu Musa Ash'ari razi Allah anhu ki thi jo masjid ke ek kone mein Quran padh rahe the. Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya Ash'ari ko Hazrat Dawud alaihissalam ke khoobsurat lahjon mein se ek lahja diya gaya hai. Maine arz kiya ya Rasul Allah! kya main unhen yeh baat bata na dun? Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya kyun nahi batado. Chunancha maine unhen yeh baat batadi woh kehney lage ki aap mere dost hain ki aap ne mujhe Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki ek hadees batai.
Abdullah bin Buraidah (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that his father participated in sixteen expeditions with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

It was narrated from Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and asked him about the times of the prayers. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not give him any answer, but he commanded Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him). He gave the Adhan for Fajr when dawn had come, and the people could not recognize one another. Then he commanded him, and he gave the Adhan for Zuhr when the sun had passed its zenith and some people were saying that half the day had passed and some were saying that it had not, but they (the latter) were more knowledgeable. Then he commanded him and he gave the Adhan for ‘Asr when the sun was still bright. Then he commanded him and he gave the Adhan for Maghrib when the sun had set. Then he commanded him and he gave the Adhan for ‘Isha’ when the twilight had faded. The next day he delayed Fajr until, when they had finished praying, the people said: “The sun is about to rise.” He delayed Zuhr until it was close to the time of ‘Asr the previous day. He delayed ‘Asr until, when they had finished praying, the people said: “The sun has turned red.” He delayed Maghrib until the twilight had faded, and he delayed ‘Isha’ until the first part of the night. Then he called the questioner and said: “The time for prayer is between these two times.”

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک شخص نے نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہو کر اوقات نماز کے حوالے سے پوچھا تو نبی کریم ﷺ نے اسے کوئی جواب نہیں دیا بلکہ حضرت بلال رضی اللہ عنہ کو حکم دیا، انہوں نے فجر کی اقامت اس وقت کہی جب طلوع فجر ہوگئی اور لوگ ایک دوسرے کو پہچان نہیں سکتے تھے پھر انہیں حکم دیا انہوں نے ظہر کی اقامت اس وقت کہی جب زوال شمس ہوگیا اور کوئی کہتا تھا کہ آدھا دن ہوگیا کوئی کہتا تھا نہیں ہوا لیکن وہ زیادہ جانتے تھے پھر انہیں حکم دیا انہوں نے عصر کی اقامت اس وقت کہی جب سورج روشن تھا پھر انہیں حکم دیا انہوں نے مغرب کی اقامت اس وقت کہی جب سورج غروب ہوگیا پھر انہیں حکم دیا انہوں نے عشاء کی اقامت اس وقت کہی جب شفق غروب ہوگئی پھر اگلے دن فجر کو اتنا مؤخر کیا کہ جب نماز سے فارغ ہوئے تو لوگ کہنے لگے کہ سورج طلوع ہونے ہی والا ہے ظہر کو اتنا مؤخر کیا کہ وہ گزشتہ دن کی عصر کے قریب ہوگئی عصر کو اتنا مؤخر کیا کہ نماز سے فارغ ہونے کے بعد لوگ کہنے لگے کہ سورج سرخ ہوگیا ہے مغرب کو سقوط شفق تک مؤخر کردیا اور عشاء کو رات کی پہلی تہائی تک مؤخر کردیا پھر سائل کو بلا کر فرمایا کہ نماز کا وقت ان دو وقتوں کے درمیان ہے۔
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki ek shakhs ne Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir ho kar auqat namaz ke hawale se poocha to Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne use koi jawab nahi diya balke Hazrat Bilal Raziallahu Anhu ko hukum diya, unhon ne fajar ki iqamat us waqt kahi jab tulue fajar hogayi aur log ek doosre ko pehchan nahi sakte the phir unhen hukum diya unhon ne zuhar ki iqamat us waqt kahi jab zawal shams hogaya aur koi kehta tha ki aadha din hogaya koi kehta tha nahi hua lekin wo zyada jante the phir unhen hukum diya unhon ne asr ki iqamat us waqt kahi jab sooraj roshan tha phir unhen hukum diya unhon ne maghrib ki iqamat us waqt kahi jab sooraj ghurub hogaya phir unhen hukum diya unhon ne isha ki iqamat us waqt kahi jab shafaq ghurub hogayi phir agle din fajar ko itna moakhir kiya ki jab namaz se farigh hue to log kehne lage ki sooraj tulue hone hi wala hai zuhar ko itna moakhir kiya ki wo guzishta din ki asr ke qareeb hogayi asr ko itna moakhir kiya ki namaz se farigh hone ke baad log kehne lage ki sooraj surkh hogaya hai maghrib ko suqut shafaq tak moakhir kardiya aur isha ko raat ki pehli tehni tak moakhir kardiya phir sail ko bula kar farmaya ki namaz ka waqt in do waqton ke darmiyan hai.
Narrated by Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a woman came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! I gave my mother a slave woman in charity and now my mother has passed away and due to inheritance, that slave woman has come back to me. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Allah will give you the reward for it and the slave woman is also rightfully yours through inheritance. She said: My mother died without performing Hajj, can I perform Hajj on her behalf? He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Yes! She said: My mother owed a month of fasting, can I fast on her behalf? He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Yes!

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک عورت نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئی اور کہنے لگی یا رسول اللہ! میں نے اپنی والدہ کو ایک باندی صدقہ میں دی تھی والدہ کا انتقال ہوگیا اس لئے وراثت میں وہ باندی دوبارہ میرے پاس آگئی ہے نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اللہ تعالیٰ اس کا ثواب دے گا اور باندی بھی تمہیں وراثت میں مل گئی اس نے کہا کہ میری والدہ حج کئے بغیر ہی فوت ہوگئی ہیں کیا میرا ان کی طرف سے حج کرنا ان کی لئے کفایت کرسکتا ہے؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا ہاں! اس نے کہا کہ میری والدہ کے ذمے ایک ماہ کے روزے بھی فرض تھے کیا میرا ان کی طرف سے سے روزے رکھنا ان کے لئے کفایت کرسکتا ہے؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا ہاں!
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki aik aurat Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir hui aur kehne lagi Ya Rasulullah! mein ne apni walida ko aik bandi sadqah mein di thi, walida ka inteqal hogaya is liye wirasat mein woh bandi dobara mere pass aagayi hai. Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya Allah Ta'ala iska sawab dega aur bandi bhi tumhein wirasat mein mil gayi. Usne kaha ki meri walida Hajj kiye baghair hi fout hogayi hain kya mera unki taraf se Hajj karna unke liye kafaayat karsakta hai? Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya Haan! Usne kaha ki meri walida ke zimme aik mah ke roze bhi farz thay kya mera unki taraf se se roze rakhna unke liye kafaayat karsakta hai? Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya Haan!
Abu Malih said: Once we were with Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) in a battle. That day was cloudy. He said: "Pray Asr quickly because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: 'Whoever misses the Asr prayer, all his deeds will be wasted.'"

ابو ملیح کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ ہم حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے ساتھ کسی غزوہ میں شریک تھے اس دن ابر چھایا ہوا تھا انہوں نے فرمایا جلدی نماز پڑھ لو کیونکہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا ہے کہ جو شخص عصر کی نماز چھوڑ دے اس کے سارے اعمال ضائع ہوجاتے ہیں۔
Abu Malih kehte hain ki ek martaba hum Hazrat Buraidah raziallahu anhu ke sath kisi ghazwa mein shareek the us din abar chhaya hua tha unhon ne farmaya jaldi namaz parh lo kyunki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya hai ki jo shakhs Asr ki namaz chhor de uske sare amal zaya hojate hain.
Narrated Buraidah Aslami (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: I had forbidden you from visiting graves, now you may go. And I had forbidden you from keeping the meat of sacrifice for more than three days, now you may keep it as long as you wish. And I had forbidden you from drinking wine in vessels other than those made of wood, now you may drink in whichever vessel you like but do not drink anything intoxicating.

حضرت بریدہ اسلمی رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا میں نے تمہیں قبرستان جانے سے منع کیا تھا اب چلے جایا کرو نیز میں نے تمہیں تین دن سے زیادہ قربانی کا گوشت رکھنے کی ممانعت کی تھی اب جب تک چاہو رکھو نیز میں نے تمہیں مشکیزے کے علاوہ دوسرے برتنوں میں نبیذ پینے سے منع کیا تھا اب جس برتن میں چاہو پی سکتے ہو البتہ نشہ آور چیز مت پینا۔
Hazrat Buraidah Islami Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya mein ne tumhein qabristan jaane se mana kya tha ab chaley jaya karo neez mein ne tumhein teen din se ziada qurbani ka gosht rakhne ki mamanat ki thi ab jab tak chaho rakho neez mein ne tumhein mashkizey ke ilawa dusre bartanom mein nabiz pine se mana kya tha ab jis bartan mein chaho pee sakte ho albatta nasha awar cheez mat pina.
It is narrated on the authority of Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Whoever leaves/misses the afternoon prayer, all his deeds are wasted."

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا ہے کہ جو شخص عصر کی نماز چھوڑ دے اس کے سارے اعمال ضائع ہوجاتے ہیں۔
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya hai keh jo shakhs Asr ki namaz chhor de uske saarey amal zaya hojate hain.
Abdullah bin Mula reported: I was walking one day in Ahwaz when I saw a man riding a mule in front of me, saying, "O Allah! If my time has passed from among this Ummah (nation), then include me among them." I said, "Include me in your supplication." He said, "And my companion too, if he wishes." Then he said, "The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, 'The best of my Ummah are those of my time, then those who follow them' (he mentioned the third time or not, I do not remember), 'then there will come after them people among whom obesity will be prevalent. They will be ready to bear witness without being asked.'" That companion was Buraidah Al-Aslami (may Allah be pleased with him).

عبداللہ بن مولہ کہتے کہ ایک دن میں " اہواز " میں چل رہا تھا کہ ایک آدمی پر نظر پڑی جو مجھ سے آگے ایک خچر پر سوار چلا جا رہا تھا اور کہہ رہا تھا کہ اے اللہ! اس امت میں سے میرا دور گذر گیا ہے تو مجھے ان ہی میں شامل فرما میں نے کہا کہ مجھے بھی اپنی دعاء میں شامل کرلیجئے انہوں نے کہا کہ میرے ساتھی کو بھی اگر یہ چاہتا ہے پھر کہا کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا ہے میرے سب سے بہترین امتی میرے دور کے ہیں پھر ان کے بعد والے ہوں گے (تیسری مرتبہ کا ذکر کیا یا نہیں مجھے یاد نہیں) ان کے بعد ایسے لوگ آئیں گے جن میں موٹاپا غالب آجائے گا وہ مطالبہ کے بغیر گواہی دینے کے لئے تیار ہوں گے وہ صحابی حضرت بریدہ اسلمی رضی اللہ عنہ تھے۔
Abdullah bin Moola kehte hain ki aik din main "Ahwaz" main chal raha tha ki aik aadmi par nazar pari jo mujh se aage aik kachar par sawaar chala ja raha tha aur keh raha tha ki aye Allah! Iss ummat main se mera daur guzar gaya hai to mujhe inn hi main shamil farma maine kaha ki mujhe bhi apni dua main shamil karlijiye unhon ne kaha ki mere saathi ko bhi agar ye chahta hai phir kaha ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya hai mere sab se behtarin ummati mere daur ke hain phir un ke baad wale honge (teesri martaba ka zikar kiya ya nahi mujhe yaad nahi) un ke baad aise log aayenge jin main motapa ghalib aajayega woh mutalba ke baghair gawahi dene ke liye taiyar honge woh sahabi Hazrat Buraidah Aslami (رضي الله تعالى عنه) the.
Narrated by Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him): I was with Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) in Yemen during Jihad. I faced some harshness from him. When I was in the presence of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), I spoke about Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) in a disrespectful manner. I saw the Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) face changing color. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "O Buraidah! Don't I have more right over the Muslims than their own selves?" I said: “Why not, O Messenger of Allah!” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever loves me, should also love Ali."

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں یمن میں جہاد کے موقع پر حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ کے ساتھ شریک تھا مجھے ان کی طرف سے سختی کا سامنا ہوا جب میں نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا تو حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ کا ذکر کرتے ہوئے ان کی شان میں کوتاہی کی میں نے دیکھا کہ نبی کریم ﷺ کے چہرہ انور کا رنگ تبدیل ہو رہا ہے پھر نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اے بریدہ! کیا مجھے مسلمانوں پر ان کی اپنی جانوں سے زیادہ حق نہیں ہے؟ میں نے عرض کیا کیوں نہیں یا رسول اللہ! نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا میں جس کا محبوب ہوں، تو علی بھی اس کے محبوب ہونے چاہئیں۔

Nabi Kareem SAW ne farmaya mein jis ka mahboob hun, to Ali bhi us ke mahboob hone chahiyen.
It was narrated from Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Every time a person gives charity, it saves him from the jaws of seventy devils."
حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا انسان جو بھی صدقہ نکالتا ہے وہ اسے ستر شیطانوں کے جبڑوں سے چھڑا دیتا ہے۔
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya insan jo bhi sadqa nikalta hai wo use sattar shaitano ke jabdon se chhuda deta hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Baridah Islami (may Allah be pleased with him) that one day he was going out for a walk when he saw the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) turning his face to one side. I thought that perhaps he was going to relieve himself, so I started to move to the other side. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw me and gestured towards me. I went to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and he took my hand and we both started walking to one side. Suddenly we came across a man who was praying and was bowing and prostrating excessively. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Do you consider him a show-off?". I said, "Allah and His Messenger know best." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) released my hand and joined both his palms together and began to raise and lower them to the level of his shoulders and said three times, "Adhere to moderation in matters of religion, for whoever is extreme in matters of religion will be overwhelmed."

حضرت ابوبریدہ اسلمی رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ کہ ایک دن میں ٹہلتا ہوا نکلا تو دیکھا کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ایک جانب چہرے کا رخ کیا ہوا ہے میں سمجھا کہ شاید قضاء حاجت کے لئے جا رہے ہیں اس لئے میں ایک طرف کو ہو کر نکلنے لگا نبی کریم ﷺ نے مجھے دیکھ لیا اور میری طرف اشارہ کیا میں نبی کریم ﷺ کے پاس پہنچا تو انہوں نے میرا ہاتھ پکڑ لیا اور ہم دونوں ایک طرف چلنے لگے اچانک ہم ایک آدمی کے قریب پہنچے جو نماز پڑھ رہا تھا اور کثرت سے رکوع و سجود کر رہا تھا نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا کیا تم اسے ریاکار سمجھتے ہو؟ میں نے عرض کیا اللہ اور اس کے رسول زیادہ جانتے ہیں نبی کریم ﷺ نے میرا ہاتھ چھوڑ کر دونوں ہتھیلیوں کو اکٹھا کیا اور کندھوں کے برابر اٹھانے اور نیچے کرنے لگے اور تین مرتبہ فرمایا اپنے اوپر درمیانہ راستہ لازم کرلو کیونکہ جو شخص دین کے معاملہ میں سختی کرتا ہے وہ مغلوب ہوجاتا ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah Aslami (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki aik din main tehlta hua nikla to dekha ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne aik janib chehre ka rukh kiya hua hai main samjha ki shayad qaza hajat ke liye ja rahe hain isliye main aik taraf ko hokar nikalne laga Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mujhe dekh liya aur meri taraf ishara kiya main Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke pass pahuncha to unhon ne mera hath pakad liya aur hum donon aik taraf chalne lage achanak hum aik aadmi ke qareeb pahunche jo namaz padh raha tha aur kasrat se rukuh o sajd kar raha tha Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya kya tum isse riyakar samjhte ho main ne arz kiya Allah aur uske rasool zyada jante hain Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mera hath chhod kar donon hatheliyon ko ikattha kiya aur kandhon ke barabar uthane aur neeche karne lage aur teen martaba farmaya apne upar darmiyana rasta lazim karlo kyunki jo shakhs deen ke mamle mein sakhti karta hai woh magloob hojata hai.
It was narrated from Buraida (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The death of a Muslim comes about as easily as (beads of) sweat (rolling down) the forehead.
حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا مسلمان آدمی کی موت پیشانی کے پسینے کی طرح (بڑی آسانی سے) واقع ہوجاتی ہے۔
Hazrat Buraidah raziallahu anhu se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya musalman aadmi ki maut peshani ke paseene ki tarah (bari aasani se) waqe hojati hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Buraidah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that once he went out at night and met the Holy Prophet (PBUH). The Holy Prophet (PBUH) held his hand and entered the mosque. Suddenly, the voice of a man reciting the Holy Quran was heard. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said, “Do you consider this man a hypocrite?” Buraidah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) remained silent. That man was praying like this, “O Allah! I ask You, and I bear witness that You are Allah, there is no deity worthy of worship except You. You are One, Self-Sufficient, You have no offspring, nor are You an offspring of anyone, and there is no one equal to You.” The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said, “By Allah, in whose hand is my soul, this man has invoked Allah with His Greatest Name, which when invoked, Allah surely grants, and when supplicated with, He surely responds.”

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ وہ رات کو نکلے تو نبی کریم ﷺ سے ملاقات ہوگئی نبی کریم ﷺ نے ان کا ہاتھ پکڑا اور مسجد میں داخل ہوگئے اچانک اس آدمی کی تلاوت قرآن کی آواز آئی نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا کیا تم اسے ریاکار سمجھتے ہو؟ بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ خاموش رہے وہ آدمی یہ دعاء کر رہا تھا کہ اے اللہ! میں تجھ سے سوال کرتا ہوں کیونکہ میں اس بات کی گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ تو وہی اللہ ہے جس کے علاوہ کوئی معبود نہیں اکیلا ہے بےنیاز ہے اس کی کوئی اولاد ہے نہ وہ کسی کی اولاد ہے اور اس کا کوئی ہمسر نہیں ہے نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اس ذات کی قسم جس کے دست قدرت میں میری جان ہے اس نے اللہ کے اس اسم اعظم کا واسطہ دے کر سوال کیا ہے کہ جب اس کے ذریعے سوال کیا جائے تو اللہ تعالیٰ ضرور عطا فرماتا ہے اور جب دعا کی جائے تو ضرور قبول فرماتا ہے۔
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki ek martaba woh raat ko nikle to Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se mulaqat hogayi. Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unka hath pakra aur masjid mein dakhil huye. Achanak us aadmi ki tilawat Quran ki aawaz aayi. Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya kya tum use riyakar samajhte ho? Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu khamosh rahe. Woh aadmi ye dua kar raha tha ki aye Allah! mein tujhse sawal karta hun kyunki mein is baat ki gawahi deta hun ki tu wohi Allah hai jiske alawa koi mabood nahi akela hai beniaz hai uski koi aulad hai na woh kisi ki aulad hai aur uska koi humsar nahi hai. Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya is zaat ki kasam jiske dast qudrat mein meri jaan hai usne Allah ke us ism e azam ka wasta dekar sawal kiya hai ki jab uske zariye sawal kiya jaye to Allah Ta'ala zaroor ata farmata hai aur jab dua ki jaye to zaroor qubool farmata hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the day of the conquest of Makkah, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) offered several prayers with one ablution. So Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) submitted: "Today you have done a thing which you never did before." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied: "I did it intentionally".

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ فتح مکہ کے دن نبی کریم ﷺ نے ایک ہی وضو سے کئی نمازیں پڑھیں تو حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے عرض کیا کہ آج تو آپ نے وہ کام کیا ہے جو پہلے کبھی نہیں کیا؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا میں نے جان بوجھ کر ایسا کیا ہے۔
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ke Fath Makkah ke din Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ek hi wuzu se kai namazain parhin to Hazrat Umar Raziallahu Anhu ne arz kiya ke aaj to aap ne woh kaam kiya hai jo pehle kabhi nahin kiya? Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya mein ne jaan boojh kar aisa kiya hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Buraidah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that initially, I had so much hatred for Ali (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that I had never hated anyone so much. The sole reason for my hatred towards Ali (رضي الله تعالى عنه) was my love for a man from Quraysh. Once, this man was appointed as the leader of a few horsemen. I accompanied him. Due to our shared hatred for Ali (رضي الله تعالى عنه), we captured some prisoners. We wrote a letter to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) requesting him to send someone to collect the Khums (one-fifth) of the spoils of war. Consequently, the Prophet (PBUH) sent Ali (رضي الله تعالى عنه) to us.
Among these prisoners was a woman named "Wasifah," who was the most beautiful of them all. Ali (رضي الله تعالى عنه) collected the Khums, distributed it, and then came out with his head covered. We asked him, "O Abu Al-Hasan! What is this?"
He replied, "You saw that woman "Wasifah" who was among the prisoners. When I collected the Khums, she was included in it. Then she came under the ownership of the Prophet's household (Ahl al-Bayt) and from there to the family of Ali (Aal-e-Ali), and I have consummated my marriage with her."
The man who disliked Ali (رضي الله تعالى عنه) wrote a letter to the Prophet (PBUH) informing him of this situation. I said to him, "Give me this letter." He handed it over to me for confirmation. I went to the Prophet (PBUH) and started reading the letter. I said, "He has told the truth." The Prophet (PBUH) lifted my hand from the letter and asked, "Do you hate Ali?" I replied, "Yes, I do!"
The Prophet (PBUH) said, "Do not hate him; instead, if you have any love, increase it. By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad (PBUH), the share of Ali's family (Aal-e-Ali) from the Khums was better than "Wasifah."
After this decree, no one became more beloved in my sight than Ali (رضي الله تعالى عنه).

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ابتداء مجھے حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ سے اتنی نفرت تھی کہ کسی سے اتنی نفرت کبھی نہیں رہی تھی اور صرف حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ سے نفرت کی وجہ سے میں قریش کے ایک آدمی سے محبت رکھتا تھا ایک مرتبہ اس شخص کو چند شہسواروں کا سردار بنا کر بھیجا گیا تو میں بھی اس کے ساتھ چلا گیا اور صرف اس بنیاد پر کہ وہ حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ سے نفرت کرتا تھا ہم لوگوں نے کچھ قیدی پکڑے اور نبی کریم ﷺ کے پاس یہ خط لکھا کہ ہمارے پاس کسی آدمی کو بھیج دیں جو مال غنیمت کا خمس وصول کرلے چنانچہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ کو ہمارے پاس بھیج دیا۔
ان قیدیوں میں " وصیفہ " بھی تھی جو قیدیوں میں سب سے عمدہ خاتون تھی حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ نے خمس وصول کیا اور اسے تقسیم کردیا پھر وہ باہر آئے تو ان کا سر ڈھکا ہوا تھا ہم نے ان سے پوچھا اے ابوالحسن! یہ کیا ہے؟ انہوں نے کہا تم نے وہ " وصیفہ " دیکھی تھی جو قیدیوں میں شامل تھی میں نے خمس وصول کیا تو وہ خمس میں شامل تھی پھر وہ اہل بیت نبوت میں آگئی اور وہاں سے آل علی میں آگئی اور میں نے اس سے مجامعت کی ہے اس شخص نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو خط لکھ کر اس صورت حال سے آگاہ کیا میں نے اس سے کہا یہ خط میرے ہاتھ بھیجو چنانچہ اس نے مجھے اپنی تصدیق کرنے کے لئے بھیج دیا میں بارگاہ نبوت میں حاضر ہو کر خط پڑھنے لگا اور کہنے لگا کہ انہوں نے سچ کہا نبی کریم ﷺ نے اس خط پر سے میرے ہاتھ کو اٹھا کر فرمایا کیا تم علی سے نفرت کرتے ہو؟ میں نے عرض کیا جی ہاں! نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا تم اس سے نفرت نہ کرو بلکہ اگر محبت کرتے ہو تو اس میں مزید اضافہ کردو کیونکہ اس ذات کی قسم جس کے دست قدرت میں محمد ﷺ کی جان ہے خمس میں آل علی کا حصہ " وصیفہ " سے بھی افضل ہے چنانچہ اس فرمان کے بعد میری نظروں میں حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ سے زیادہ کوئی شخص محبوب نہ رہا۔
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki ibtida mujhe Hazrat Ali Raziallahu Anhu se itni nafrat thi ki kisi se itni nafrat kabhi nahin rahi thi aur sirf Hazrat Ali Raziallahu Anhu se nafrat ki wajah se mein Quresh ke ek aadmi se mohabbat rakhta tha ek martaba is shakhs ko chand sahwaron ka sardar bana kar bheja gaya to mein bhi iske sath chala gaya aur sirf is bunyad par ki woh Hazrat Ali Raziallahu Anhu se nafrat karta tha hum logon ne kuchh qaidi pakre aur Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke pass yeh khat likha ki humare pass kisi aadmi ko bhij dein jo maal-e-ghanimat ka khums wasool kar le chunancha Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Hazrat Ali Raziallahu Anhu ko humare pass bhij diya.
In qaidiyon mein "Wasifa" bhi thi jo qaidiyon mein sab se umda khatoon thi Hazrat Ali Raziallahu Anhu ne khums wasool kiya aur use taqsim kar diya phir woh bahar aaye to unka sar dhaka hua tha hum ne un se puchha aye Abu Al Hasan! yeh kya hai? unhon ne kaha tum ne woh "Wasifa" dekhi thi jo qaidiyon mein shamil thi mein ne khums wasool kiya to woh khums mein shamil thi phir woh Ahle Bait-e-Nabuwat mein aa gai aur wahan se Aal-e-Ali mein aa gai aur mein ne is se mujamma'at ki hai is shakhs ne Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko khat likh kar is surat-e-haal se aagah kiya mein ne is se kaha yeh khat mere hath bhejo chunancha is ne mujhe apni tasdeeq karne ke liye bhij diya mein bargah-e-nabuwat mein hazir ho kar khat padhne laga aur kahne laga ki unhon ne sach kaha Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne is khat par se mere hath ko utha kar farmaya kya tum Ali se nafrat karte ho? mein ne arz kiya ji haan! Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya tum is se nafrat na karo balki agar mohabbat karte ho to is mein mazeed izafa karo kyunki is zaat ki qasam jis ke dast-e-qudrat mein Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki jaan hai khums mein Aal-e-Ali ka hissa "Wasifa" se bhi afzal hai chunancha is farman ke baad meri nazron mein Hazrat Ali Raziallahu Anhu se zyada koi shakhs mahboob na raha.
It is narrated on the authority of Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Allah Almighty loves four of my companions (may Allah be pleased with them) and He has told me that He loves them and has commanded me to love them too. The people asked: O Messenger of Allah! Who are they? The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: One of them is Ali, the second is Abu Dharr al-Ghifari, the third is Salman al-Farsi, and the fourth is Miqdad bin Aswad al-Kindi. (May Allah be pleased with them).

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا اللہ تعالیٰ میرے صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہم میں سے چار لوگوں سے محبت کرتا ہے اور اس نے مجھے بتایا ہے کہ وہ ان سے محبت کرتا ہے اور مجھے بھی ان سے محبت کرنے کا حکم دیا ہے لوگوں نے پوچھا یا رسول اللہ! وہ کون ہیں؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا ان میں سے سے ایک تو علی ہیں دوسرے ابوذر غفاری تیسرے سلمان فارسی اور چوتھے مقداد بن اسود کندی ہیں۔ رضی اللہ عنہ۔
Hazrat Buraidah razi Allah anhu se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya Allah taala mere sahaba kiram razi Allah anhum mein se chaar logon se mohabbat karta hai aur usne mujhe bataya hai ke wo unse mohabbat karta hai aur mujhe bhi unse mohabbat karne ka hukum diya hai logon ne poocha Ya Rasul Allah wo kaun hain Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya in mein se se ek to Ali hain doosre Abuzar Ghaffari teesre Salman Farsi aur chauthe Muqdad bin Aswad Kandi hain razi Allah anhu.
It was narrated from Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “`Abdullah bin Qais al-Ash`ari was given a dialect of the dialects of David.”

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم، ﷺ نے فرمایا عبداللہ بن قیس اشعری کو آل داؤد کے لہجوں میں سے ایک لہجہ دیا گیا ہے۔

It is narrated on the authority of Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever grants respite to someone in difficulty (a debtor), then he will receive the reward of giving charity every day. And whoever grants him respite after the due date, then he will receive the reward equivalent to the amount (he has given in loan) in charity, every day.”

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم، ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا جو شخص کسی تنگدست (مقروض) کو مہلت دیدے تو اسے روزانہ صدقہ کرنے کا ثواب ملتا ہے اور جو شخص وقت مقررہ گذرنے کے بعد اسے مہلت دے دے تو اسے روزانہ اتنی ہی مقدار (جو اس نے قرض میں دے رکھی ہے) صدقہ کرنے کا ثواب ملتا ہے۔
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya jo shakhs kisi tangdast (maqrooz) ko mohlat dede to use rozana sadqah karne ka sawab milta hai aur jo shakhs waqt muqarrarah guzarne ke baad use mohlat de de to use rozana utni hi miqdar (jo us ne qarz mein de rakhi hai) sadqah karne ka sawab milta hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that a woman came to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah! I had given my mother a slave woman in charity. My mother has passed away, so the slave woman has come back to me as inheritance. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Allah Almighty will reward you for it, and the slave woman has also come back to you as inheritance.

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک عورت نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئی اور کہنے لگی یا رسول اللہ! میں نے اپنی والدہ کو ایک باندی صدقہ میں دی تھی والدہ کا انتقال ہوگیا اس لئے وراثت میں وہ باندی دوبارہ میرے پاس آگئی ہے نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اللہ تعالیٰ اس کا ثواب دے گا اور باندی بھی تمہیں وراثت میں مل گئی۔
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki ek aurat Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir hui aur kehne lagi Ya Rasulullah! mein ne apni walida ko ek bandi sadqah mein di thi walida ka inteqal hogaya is liye warasat mein wo bandi dobara mere paas aa gai hai Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya Allah Ta'ala is ka sawab dega aur bandi bhi tumhein warasat mein mil gai.
Narrated Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him): Once, he was with the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), among twenty-four of his companions (may Allah be pleased with them). The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was offering prayer near Maqam-e-Ibrahim, while the companions (may Allah be pleased with them) were sitting behind him, waiting. When he finished the prayer, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) moved towards the Kaaba as if trying to grab something. Then he came back, and the companions (may Allah be pleased with them) stood up. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gestured them to sit down with his blessed hand. They sat down, and the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked them, "Did you see me moving towards the Kaaba after finishing the prayer as if I was trying to grab something?" They replied, "Yes, O Messenger of Allah!" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Paradise was presented before me, with blessings like I have never seen before. A bunch of grapes passed in front of me, which I liked, and I moved forward to grab it, but it went ahead of me. If I had grabbed it, I would have given it to you to eat from the fruits of Paradise. And know that antimony is the cure for the eyes, and Ajwa dates are a fruit of Paradise, and this black seed in salt is the cure for every disease except death."

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ وہ نبی کریم ﷺ کے ٢٤ صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہم میں شامل نبی کریم ﷺ کے ہمراہ تھے نبی کریم ﷺ مقام ابراہیم کے قریب نماز پڑھ رہے تھے صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہم پیچھے بیٹھے انتظار کر رہے تھے نماز سے فارغ ہو کر نبی کریم ﷺ خانہ کعبہ کی جانب اس طرح بڑھے جیسے کوئی چیز پکڑنے کی کوشش کر رہے ہیں پھر واپس آئے تو صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہم کھڑے ہوگئے نبی کریم ﷺ نے انہیں دست مبارک سے بیٹھنے کا اشارہ کیا وہ لوگ بیٹھ گئے اور نبی کریم ﷺ نے ان سے پوچھا کیا تم نے مجھے نماز سے فارغ ہو کر خانہ کعبہ کی طرف اس طرح بڑھتے ہوئے دیکھا تھا جیسے کوئی چیز پکڑنے کی کوشش کر رہا ہوں؟ انہوں نے عرض کیا جی یا رسول اللہ! نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ میرے سامنے جنت کو پیش کیا گیا جس کی نعمتوں جیسی کوئی چیز میں نے کبھی نہیں دیکھی میرے سامنے سے انگوروں کا ایک خوشہ گذرا جو مجھے اچھا لگا میں اسے پکڑنے کے لئے آگے بڑھا تو وہ مجھ سے آگے نکل گیا اگر میں اسے پکڑ لیتا تو اسے تمہارے سامنے گاڑ دیتا تاکہ تم جنت کے میوے کھاتے اور جان رکھو کہ کھنبی آنکھوں کا علاج ہے اور عجوہ جنت کا میوہ ہے اور یہ کلونجی جو نمک میں ہوتی ہے موت کے علاوہ ہر بیماری کا علاج ہے۔

Namaz se farigh hokar Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Khana Kaaba ki janib is tarah barhe jaise koi cheez pakarne ki koshish kar rahe hain phir wapas aaye to Sahaba Kiram Raziallahu Anhum khare hogaye. Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unhen dast e mubarak se baithne ka ishara kiya. Woh log baith gaye aur Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unse poocha kya tumne mujhe namaz se farigh hokar Khana Kaaba ki taraf is tarah badhte hue dekha tha jaise koi cheez pakarne ki koshish kar raha hoon? Unhon ne arz kiya ji haan Ya Rasulullah! Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ke mere samne jannat ko pesh kiya gaya jiske naimaton jaisi koi cheez main ne kabhi nahin dekhi. Mere samne se angooron ka ek khosha guzra jo mujhe achha laga main use pakarne ke liye aage badha to woh mujhse aage nikal gaya. Agar main use pakad leta to use tumhare samne gaad deta taake tum jannat ke mewe khate aur jaan rakho ke khanbi aankhon ka ilaaj hai aur ajwa jannat ka mewa hai aur yeh kalonji jo namak mein hoti hai maut ke alawa har bimari ka ilaaj hai.
Narrated by Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him): On the Day of Conquest, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performed ablution once and offered several prayers with it. Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) asked, "Today you have done something that you have never done before." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, "I did it intentionally."

It is narrated on the authority of Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Do not look at a non-mahram woman after the first glance, because the first glance is forgiven for you, but the second is not."

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا نامحرم عورت پر ایک مرتبہ نظر پڑجانے کے بعد دوبارہ نظر مت ڈالا کرو کیونکہ پہلی نظر تمہیں معاف ہے لیکن دوسری نظر معاف نہیں ہے۔
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya na mehram aurat par ek martaba nazar par jane ke bad dobara nazar mat dala karo kyunki pehli nazar tumhein maaf hai lekin dusri nazar maaf nahi hai.
Narrated Buraidah (RA): Once I was in the gathering of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). I heard him saying, "Learn Surah Baqarah because acquiring it is a blessing and abandoning it is a cause of regret, and the wrongdoers cannot overpower it." Then, after a short pause, he said, "Learn Surah Baqarah and Surah Al-Imran because both of them are bright surahs that will shade their reciters on the Day of Judgment like clouds, or canopies, or two flocks of birds, and will argue on behalf of their reciters."

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نبی کریم ﷺ کی مجلس میں شریک تھا میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ سورت بقرہ کو سیکھو کیونکہ اس کا حاصل کرنا برکت اور چھوڑنا حسرت ہے اور غلط کار لوگ اس کی طاقت نہیں رکھتے پھر تھوڑی دیر خاموش رہنے کے بعد فرمایا سورت بقرہ اور آل عمران دونوں کو سیکھو کیونکہ یہ دونوں روشن سورتیں اپنے پڑھنے والوں پر قیامت کے دن بادلوں، سائبانوں یا پرندوں کی دو ٹولیوں کی صورت میں سایہ کریں گی اور اپنے پڑھنے والوں کی طرف سے جھگڑا کریں گے۔

Narrated Buraidah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that once Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said, on the Day of Judgement, when a man's grave will split open, the Quran will come to its reader "looking like a lean man" and will say to him: "I am your companion, the Quran, who kept you thirsty in the scorching afternoons and woke you up at nights.”

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا قیامت کے دن جب انسان کی قبر شق ہوگی تو قرآن اپنے پڑھنے والے سے " جو لاغر آدمی کی طرح ہوگا ملے گا اور اس سے کہے گا کہ میں تمہارا وہی ساتھی قرآن ہوں جس نے تمہیں سخت گرم دوپہروں میں پیاسا رکھا اور راتوں کو جگایا۔
Hazrat Buraidah razi Allah anhu se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya qayamat ke din jab insan ki qabar shaq hogi to Quran apne parhne wale se jo laghar aadmi ki tarah hoga milega aur us se kahega ki main tumhara wohi sathi Quran hun jisne tumhen sakht garm dopehro mein pyasa rakha aur raaton ko jagaya.
It was narrated from Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The sanctity of the wives of the Mujahideen (Muslims fighting in Jihad) for those who stay behind (from Jihad) is like the sanctity of their mothers. If any one of those who stay behind is entrusted with the family of a Mujahid and he betrays him, he will be brought on the Day of Resurrection and the Mujahid will be allowed to take whatever good deeds he wishes from his deeds. Now, what do you think (of betraying the trust)?”

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا مجاہدین کی عورتوں کی حرمت انتظار جہاد میں بیٹھنے والوں پر ان کی ماؤں جیسی ہے اگر ان بیٹھنے والوں میں سے کوئی شخص کسی مجاہد کے پیچھے اس کے اہل خانہ کا ذمہ دار بنے اور اس میں خیانت کرے تو اسے قیامت کے دن اس مجاہد کے سامنے کھڑا کیا جائے گا اور وہ اس کے اعمال میں سے جو چاہے گا لے لے گا اب تمہارا کیا خیال ہے؟
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya mujahidon ki aurton ki hurmat intezar jihad mein bethne walon par un ki maon jaisi hai agar un bethne walon mein se koi shakhs kisi mujahid ke peechhe us ke ahl e khana ka zimma daar bane aur us mein khiyanat kare to use qayamat ke din us mujahid ke samne khada kiya jayega aur wo us ke amal mein se jo chahe ga le lega ab tumhara kya khayal hai
It is narrated on the authority of Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that whenever the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would appoint a man as the commander of a detachment or army and send him off, he would specifically advise him to fear Allah and to treat the Muslims with the best of conduct. Then he would say: "Fight in the way of Allah, in the name of Allah. Fight those who disbelieve in Allah. And when you meet your enemy, then invite them to one of these three courses of action, and whichever of these they accept, agree to it with them and withhold yourselves from them. First of all, call them to Islam. If they agree to it, then accept it from them and hold back from fighting them. Then invite them to migrate from their lands to the land of the Muhajireen (Medina), and inform them that if they do so, they will have the same rights and obligations as the Muhajireen. But if they refuse and prefer to remain in their lands, then tell them that they will be treated like the Bedouin Muslims. The laws of Allah will apply to them as they apply to other Muslims, but they will not have any share in the spoils of war unless they participate in Jihad with the Muslims. And if they refuse this offer, then demand from them the Jizya. If they agree to pay Jizya, then accept it from them and hold back from fighting them. But if they refuse this also, then seek help from Allah and fight them.”

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم، ﷺ جب کسی شخص کو کسی دستہ یا لشکر کا امیر مقرر کر کے روانہ فرماتے تو اسے خصوصیت کے ساتھ اس کو اپنے متعلق تقوی کی وصیت فرماتے اور اس کے ہمراہ مسلمانوں کے ساتھ بہترین سلوک کی تاکید فرماتے پھر فرماتے کہ اللہ کا نام لے کر اللہ کے راستہ میں جہاد کرو اللہ کے ساتھ کفر کرنے والوں کے ساتھ قتال کرو اور جب دشمن سے تمہارا آمنا سامنا ہو تو اسے تین میں سے کسی ایک بات کو قبول کرنے کی دعوت دو وہ ان میں سے جس بات کو بھی قبول کرلیں تم اسے ان کی طرف سے تسلیم کرلو اور ان سے اپنے ہاتھ روک لو سب سے پہلے اسلام کی دعوت ان کے سامنے پیش کرو اگر وہ تمہاری بات مان لیں تو تم بھی اسے قبول کرلو پھر انہیں اپنے علاقے سے دارالمہاجرین کی طرف منتقل ہونے کی دعوت دو اور انہیں بتاؤ کہ اگر انہوں نے ایسا کرلیا تو ان کے وہی حقوق ہوں گے جو مہاجرین کے ہیں اور وہی فرائض ہوں گے جو مہاجرین کے ہیں اگر وہ اس سے انکار کردیں اور اپنے علاقے ہی میں رہنے کو ترجیح دیں تو انہیں بتانا کہ وہ دیہاتی مسلمانوں کی مانند شمار ہوں گے ان پر اللہ کے احکام تو ویسے ہی جاری ہوں گے جیسے تمام مسلمانوں پر ہوتے ہیں لیکن مال غنیمت میں مسلمانوں کے ہمراہ جہاد کئے بغیر ان کا کوئی حصہ نہ ہوگا اگر وہ اس سے انکار کردیں تو انہیں جزیہ دینے کی دعوت دو اگر وہ اسے تسلیم کرلیں تو تم اسے ان کی طرف سے قبول کرلینا اور ان سے اپنے ہاتھ روک لینا لیکن اگر وہ اس سے بھی انکار کردیں تو پھر اللہ سے مدد چاہتے ہوئے ان سے قتال کرو۔
Hazrat Buraidah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) jab kisi shakhs ko kisi dastay ya lashkar ka ameer muqarrar kar ke rawana farmate to usay khususiyat ke sath us ko apne mutalliq taqway ki wasiyat farmate aur uske hamrah muslimon ke sath behtarin sulook ki takid farmate phir farmate ke Allah ka naam lekar Allah ke rastay mein jihad karo Allah ke sath kufr karne walon ke sath qital karo aur jab dushman se tumhara aamna samna ho to usay teen mein se kisi aik baat ko qubool karne ki dawat do woh in mein se jis baat ko bhi qubool kar lein tum usay un ki taraf se tasleem kar lo aur un se apne hath rok lo sab se pehle Islam ki dawat un ke samne pesh karo agar woh tumhari baat maan lein to tum bhi usay qubool kar lo phir unhein apne ilaqay se Dar-ul-Muhajireen ki taraf muntaqil hone ki dawat do aur unhein batao ke agar unhon ne aisa kar liya to unke wohi huqooq honge jo muhajireen ke hain aur wohi faraiz honge jo muhajireen ke hain agar woh is se inkar kar dein aur apne ilaqay hi mein rehne ko tarjeeh dein to unhein batana ke woh dehati muslimon ki manind shumaar honge un per Allah ke ahkaam to waise hi jari honge jaise tamam muslimon per hote hain lekin maal ghanimat mein muslimon ke hamrah jihad kiye baghair un ka koi hissa na hoga agar woh is se inkar kar dein to unhein jizya dene ki dawat do agar woh isay tasleem kar lein to tum usay un ki taraf se qubool kar lena aur un se apne hath rok lena lekin agar woh is se bhi inkar kar dein to phir Allah se madad chahte huye un se qital karo.
Narrated by Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Whoever plays with backgammon, it is as if he dips his hand in the blood and flesh of a pig."

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا جو شخص بارہ ٹانی کے ساتھ کھیلتا ہے وہ گویا اپنے ہاتھ خنزیر کے خون اور گوشت میں ڈبو دیتا ہے۔

It was narrated from Buraidah (RA) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "He is not one of us who swears by treachery, and he who incites a woman against her husband or a slave against his master, then he is not one of us."

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا وہ شخص ہم میں سے نہیں ہے جو امانت پر قسم اٹھا لے اور جو شخص کسی عورت کو اس کے شوہر کے خلاف بھڑکائے یا غلام کو اس کے آقا کے خلاف تو وہ ہم میں سے نہیں ہے۔
Hazrat Buraidah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai kih kih Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya woh shakhs hum mein se nahi hai jo amanat par qasam utha le aur jo shakhs kisi aurat ko uske shohar ke khilaf bhadkaye ya ghulam ko uske aqa ke khilaf to woh hum mein se nahi hai.
It was narrated from Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Negus (ruler) of Abyssinia presented two simple black socks as a gift to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) wore them and wiped over them while performing ablution.

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں نجاشی شاہ حبشہ نے سیاہ رنگ کے دو سادہ موزے ہدیہ میں پیش کئے تو نبی کریم ﷺ نے انہیں پہن لیا اور وضو کرتے ہوئے ان پر مسح فرمایا۔
Hazrat Buraidah raziallahu anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein Najashi shah Habshah ne siyah rang ke do sada mozey hadiya mein pesh kiye to Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unhen pehen liya aur wuzu karte hue un par masah farmaya.
Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that a man came to the court of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah! I love horses very much, so will there be horses in Paradise?" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "If Allah admits you to Paradise and you wish to ride a horse of red ruby in Paradise and roam wherever you want, then you will get it for riding." Then another man came and he asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Will there be camels in Paradise?" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "O servant of Allah! If Allah admits you to Paradise, then you will find everything there that your heart desires and your eyes will find pleasure in it."

حضرت بریدہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک آدمی بارگاہ نبوت میں حاضر ہوا اور عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ! مجھے گھوڑوں سے بہت محبت ہے تو کیا جنت میں گھوڑے ہوں گے؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اگر اللہ نے تمہیں جنت میں داخل کردیا اور تمہاری یہ خواہش ہوئی کہ تم سرخ یاقوت کے ایک گھوڑے پر سوار ہو جنت میں جہاں چاہو گھومو تو وہ بھی تمہیں سواری کے لئے ملے گا پھر دوسرا آدمی آیا اور اس نے پوچھا یا رسول اللہ! کیا جنت میں اونٹ ہوں گے؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا بندہ خدا! اگر اللہ نے تمہیں جنت میں داخل کردیا تو وہاں تمہیں ہر چیز ملے گی جس کی خواہش تمہارے دل میں پیدا ہوگی اور تمہاری آنکھوں کو اس سے لذت حاصل ہوگی۔

Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya agar Allah ne tumhein jannat mein dakhil kardiya aur tumhari yeh khawahish hui ke tum surkh yaqut ke aik ghore par sawar ho jannat mein jahan chaho ghoomo to wo bhi tumhein sawari ke liye milay ga phir dusra aadmi aaya aur usne pucha Ya Rasulullah! Kya jannat mein unt honge? Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya banda e khuda! Agar Allah ne tumhein jannat mein dakhil kardiya to wahan tumhein har cheez milay gi jiski khawahish tumhare dil mein paida hogi aur tumhari aankhon ko us se lazzat hasil hogi.
It is narrated on the authority of Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would not leave his house on the day of Eid al-Fitr without eating or drinking something, and on the day of Eid al-Adha he would not eat or drink anything until he returned after offering the Eid prayer.
