Abu Musa narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to say: "O Allah, forgive my mistakes, my forgetfulness, what I do deliberately and what I do in error, and whatever excesses I have committed."
حضرت ابو موسیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ دعا فرمایا کرتے تھے: "اے اللہ! میری خطاؤں کو، میری بھول چوک کو، جو کچھ میں نے جان بوج کر کیا اور جو کچھ میں نے غلطی سے کیا اور جس میں میں نے زیادتی کی اس سب کو معاف فرما دے"۔
Hazrat Abu Musa Radi Allahu Anhu bayan karte hain keh Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam dua farmaya karte thay: "Aye Allah! Meri khataon ko, meri bhool chuk ko, jo kuch maine jaan boojh kar kiya aur jo kuch maine ghalti se kiya aur jis mein maine ziyadati ki us sab ko maaf farma de".
Ibn Abi Awfa reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, would say, “O Allah, purify me from my sins with snow and hail and water. O Allah, purify me from my sins as a white garment is purified from filth.”
حضرت ابن ابی اوفیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کہا کرتے تھے: "اے اللہ! مجھے برف، اولوں اور پانی سے میرے گناہوں سے پاک کر دے۔ اے اللہ! مجھے میرے گناہوں سے اس طرح پاک کر دے جیسے سفید کپڑے کو میل سے پاک کیا جاتا ہے۔"
Hazrat Ibn Abi Aufa Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ke Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam kaha karte thay: "Aye Allah! Mujhe barf, olon aur pani se mere gunahon se pak kar de. Aye Allah! Mujhe mere gunahon se is tarah pak kar de jaise safaid kapre ko mail se pak kiya jata hai."
Ibn Abi Awfa narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to say: “O Allah, to You is due all praise, filling the heavens, filling the earth, and filling whatever else You will after that. O Allah, purify me with snow, hail, and cold water. O Allah, purify me of my sins as a white garment is purified of stains.”
حضرت ابن ابی اوفی رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کہا کرتے تھے: "اے اللہ! تیرى ہى تعریف ہے جو آسمانوں کو اور زمین کو بھر دینے والى ہے اور جو کچھ ان کے بعد ہے اسے بھی بھر دینے والى ہے، اے اللہ! مجھے برف، اولے اور ٹھنڈے پانی سے پاک کر دے، اے اللہ! میرے گناہوں کو اس طرح پاک فرما جس طرح سفید کپڑے کو میل سے پاک کر دیا جاتا ہے"۔
Hazrat Ibn Abi Aufa Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam kaha karte the: "Aye Allah! Teri hi tareef hai jo aasmanon ko aur zameen ko bhar dene wali hai aur jo kuchh un ke baad hai usay bhi bhar dene wali hai, Aye Allah! Mujhe barf, ole aur thhande pani se pak kar de, Aye Allah! Mere gunahon ko is tarah pak farma jis tarah safaid kapre ko mail se pak kar diya jata hai".
Abu Musa al-Ash'ari's father said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to supplicate with this supplication: “O Allah, forgive me my sin, my ignorance, my exceeding the limits in my affair and that which You know better than me. O Allah, forgive me my sins, those which I committed intentionally or mistakenly, and those which I did jokingly or seriously; all of that is within me. O Allah, forgive me that which I brought forth and that which I left behind, that which I concealed and that which I declared. Indeed You are the One Who brings forward and the One Who puts back, and You are over all things capable."
حضرت ابو موسى اشعری رضی اللہ عنہ کے والد کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ یہ دعا مانگا کرتے تھے: "اے اللہ! میری خطا، میری جہالت، میرے کام میں میری زیادتی اور اس چیز کو جسے تو مجھ سے بہتر جانتا ہے، مجھے معاف فرما دے۔ اے اللہ! میرے وہ گناہ معاف فرما دے جو میں نے جان بوجھ کر کیے اور وہ بھی جو میں سے بھول چوک سے ہوئے اور وہ بھی جو میں نے مذاق میں کیے اور وہ بھی جو میں نے سنجیدگی میں کیے، یہ سب کچھ میرے اندر موجود ہے۔ اے اللہ! مجھے اس چیز کو معاف فرما دے جو میں نے آگے بھیجا اور جو میں نے پیچھے چھوڑا اور جو میں نے چھپایا اور جو میں نے ظاہر کیا، بے شک تو ہی آگے لانے والا ہے اور تو ہی پیچھے ہٹانے والا ہے اور تو ہی ہر چیز پر قادر ہے۔"
Hazrat Abu Moosa Ashari Radi Allahu Anhu ke walid kahte hain ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam yeh dua manga karte the: Aye Allah! Meri khata, meri jahlat, mere kaam mein meri ziyadati aur us cheez ko jise Tu mujhse behtar janta hai, mujhe maaf farma de. Aye Allah! Mere woh gunah maaf farma de jo main ne jaan boojh kar kiye aur woh bhi jo mujhse bhool chook se huye aur woh bhi jo main ne mazaq mein kiye aur woh bhi jo main ne sanjeedagi mein kiye, yeh sab kuch mere andar maujood hai. Aye Allah! Mujhe us cheez ko maaf farma de jo main ne aage bheja aur jo main ne peeche chhora aur jo main ne chhupaya aur jo main ne zahir kiya, be shak Tu hi aage laane wala hai aur Tu hi peeche hatane wala hai aur Tu hi har cheez per qadir hai.
Anas bin Malik narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "O Umm Haritha, it is (made of) pearls and it is (located) in the highest Firdaus. So when you ask Allah, ask Him for Firdaus."
حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "اے ام حارثہ! وہ (گھر) موتیوں کا ہے اور وہ بلند ترین فردوس میں ہے، پس جب تم اللہ سے مانگو تو اس سے فردوس ہی مانگو"۔
Hazrat Anas bin Malik Radi Allaho Anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasool Allah Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Ae Umm Harisa! Woh (ghar) motiyon ka hai aur woh buland tareen Firdaus mein hai, pas jab tum Allah se mango to us se Firdaus hi mango".
Ibn Mas'ud reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, would say, "O Allah, You have made my appearance beautiful, so make my character beautiful as well."
حضرت ابن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کہا کرتے تھے: "اے اللہ! جس طرح تو نے میری صورت کو خوبصورت بنایا ہے، ویسے ہی میرے اخلاق کو بھی خوبصورت بنا دے۔"
Hazrat Ibn Masood Raziallahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam kaha karte the: "Aye Allah! Jis tarah tune meri soorat ko khoobsurat banaya hai, waise hi mere akhlaq ko bhi khoobsurat bana de."
Ziyad ibn 'Ilaqah's paternal uncle said: The Prophet ﷺ used to say: "O Allah, keep me away from repulsive manners, desires, evils, and diseases."
حضرت زیاد بن علاقت کے چچا نے بیان کیا کہ نبی کریم ﷺ فرماتے تھے: ”اے اللہ! مجھے برے اخلاق، خواہشات، برائیوں اور بیماریوں سے دور رکھ۔“
Hazrat ziyad bin Alaqat ke chacha ne bayan kya ke nabi kareem farmayate thy: Aye Allah mujhe burey akhlaq khwahishat buraiyon aur bimariyon se door rakh.
Jabir ibn Abi Sulayman narrated that he heard Abdullah bin Umar saying: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would not leave these supplications in the evening and in the morning: “O Allah, I ask You for well-being in this world and in the Hereafter. O Allah, I ask You for forgiveness and well-being in my religious and worldly affairs, and for my family and my wealth. O Allah, conceal my faults and keep me safe from my anxieties. O Allah, protect me from in front of me and from behind me, and on my right and on my left, and from above me, and I seek refuge in Your Greatness, that I be surprised from below me.”
جابر بن ابی سلیمان بیان کرتے ہیں کہ انہوں نے عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے سنا، وہ فرماتے تھے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ شام اور صبح ان دعاؤں کو نہیں چھوڑتے تھے: اللہم انی اسألک العافیة فی الدنیا والآخرة، اللہم انی اسألک العفو والعافیة فی دینی و دنیاٸ و اھلی ومالی، اللہم استر عوراتی و آمن روعاتی، اللہم احفظنی من بين يدي و من خلفي و عن يميني و عن شمالی و من فوقي، و اعوذ بعظمتک ان اغتال من تحتي"
Jaber bin Abi Sulaiman bayan karte hain keh unhon ne Abdullah bin Umar Radi Allaho Anhuma se suna, woh farmate thy keh Rasool Allah SAW sham aur subah in duaon ko nahi chorte thy: Allahumma inni as'alukal-'afiyata fid-dunya wal-akhirah, Allahumma inni as'alukal-'afwa wal-'afiyata fi deeni wa dunyaya wa ahli wa maali, Allahumma-stur 'awraati wa aamin raw'aati, Allahumma-hfazni min bayni yadayya wa min khalfi wa 'an yameeni wa 'an shimali wa min fawqi, wa a'oothu bi-'azamatika an ughtala min tahti.
Amr ibn Aasim al-Thaqafi said: I heard Abu Hurairah saying: Abu Bakr said, “O Messenger of Allah! Inform me of what I should say in the morning and the evening.” He said: “Say: ‘O Allah, Knower of the unseen and the seen, Creator of the heavens and the earth, Lord and Sovereign of everything, I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except You. I seek refuge in You from the evil of my soul and from the evil of Satan and his polytheism."
عمرو بن عاصم ثقفی کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کو کہتے سنا: حضرت ابو بکر صدیق رضی اللہ عنہ نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! مجھے بتایے کہ میں صبح و شام کیا کہوں؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: کہو: «اللَّهُمَّ عَالِمَ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ فَاطِرَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ رَبَّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَمَلِيكَهُ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ نَفْسِي وَمِنْ شَرِّ الشَّيْطَانِ وَشِرْكِهِ» .
Amr bin Asim Saqafi kehte hain ki maine Abu Huraira Radi Allahu Anhu ko kehte suna: Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique Radi Allahu Anhu ne arz kiya: Ya Rasulullah! mujhe bataiye ki main subah o sham kya kahun? Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: kaho: «Allahuumma AAlim-al-ghaibi wa-ash-shahaadati faatir-as-samaawaati wa-al-ardi rabbi kulli shai’in wa maleekuhu. Ashhadu an laa ilaaha illaa ant. A’oodhu bika min sharri nafsee wa min sharri-sh-shaitaani wa shirkihi» .
'Abdullah bin Mas'ud said: The Prophet (ﷺ) used to say when he woke up in the morning, “We have entered upon the morning and the dominion belongs to Allah, and all praise is due to Allah. I ask You for the good of this day, and the good of what is in it, and the good of what is after it.
عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب صبح اٹھتے تو یہ دعا پڑھتے ''ہم صبح ہوئے اور بادشاہت اللہ ہی کی ہے اور ساری تعریفیں اللہ ہی کے لیے ہیں۔ اے اللہ میں تجھ سے اس دن کے خیر کی دعا کرتا ہوں اور جو کچھ اس میں ہے اس کے خیر کی دعا کرتا ہوں اور جو کچھ اس کے بعد ہے اس کے خیر کی دعا کرتا ہوں۔''
Abdullah bin Masood razi Allah unho kehte hain ki Nabi Kareem sallallahu alaihi wasallam jab subah uthte to ye dua parhte Hum subah huye aur badshahat Allah hi ki hai aur sari tareefain Allah hi ke liye hain Aye Allah main tujh se is din ke khair ki dua karta hun aur jo kuch is mein hai is ke khair ki dua karta hun aur jo kuch is ke baad hai is ke khair ki dua karta hun
Abu Huraira reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) used to say in the morning, "O Allah! With Your Power we have got up in the morning, and with Your Power we go to sleep in the evening, and with Your Power we live, and with Your Power we die, and to You is the return."
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ صبح کے وقت یہ دعا کرتے تھے: "اے اللہ! تیری قدرت سے ہم صبح کرتے ہیں اور تیری قدرت سے ہم شام کرتے ہیں، تیری قدرت سے ہم زندہ ہیں اور تیری ہی قدرت سے ہم مر جائیں گے اور تیری ہی طرف پلٹ کر جانا ہے۔"
Hazrat Abu Hurairah Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah SAW subah ke waqt yeh dua karte thay: "Aye Allah! Teri qudrat se hum subah karte hain aur teri qudrat se hum sham karte hain, teri qudrat se hum zinda hain aur teri hi qudrat se hum mar jayenge aur teri hi taraf palat kar jana hai."
Abu Hurairah narrated that the Prophet ﷺ would say when he woke up in the morning, "O Allah, by Your grace we have reached the morning and by Your grace we have reached the evening, and by Your grace we live and by Your grace we die, and to You is the return."
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ جب صبح اٹھتے تو یہ دعا پڑھتے: "اے اللہ! آپ کی توفیق سے ہم صبح ہوئے اور آپ ہی کی توفیق سے ہم شام کو پہنچے، اور آپ ہی کی توفیق سے ہم جیتے ہیں اور آپ ہی کی توفیق سے ہم مرتے ہیں، اور آپ ہی کی طرف لوٹ کر جانا ہے۔"
Hazrat Abu Huraira razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai keh Nabi Kareem SAW jab subah uthte to yeh dua parhte: "Aye Allah! Aap ki taufeeq se hum subah huye aur aap hi ki taufeeq se hum sham ko pohnche, aur aap hi ki taufeeq se hum jeete hain aur aap hi ki taufeeq se hum marte hain, aur aap hi ki taraf laut kar jana hai."
Abu Huraira reported: Fatima came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, asking him for a servant. He said to her, “Shall I not tell you of something better than a servant? Say: ‘O Allah, Lord of the seven heavens and Lord of the Magnificent Throne, our Lord and Lord of all things, You are the Outward and there is nothing above You, and You are the Inward and there is nothing beneath You. You sent down the Torah, the Gospel, and the Quran. You are the Splitter of the seed and the pit. I seek refuge in You from the evil of all things, for You seize it by its forelock. You are the First so there is nothing before You, and You are the Last so there is nothing after You. Settle our debt and enrich us from poverty.’”
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ حضرت فاطمہ رضی اللہ عنہا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس ایک خادم کا سوال لے کر آئیں۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا تمہیں ایک خادم سے بہتر چیز نہ بتاؤں؟ تم کہو: اے اللہ! سات آسمانوں کے رب اور عرش عظیم کے مالک! ہمارے رب اور ہر چیز کے رب! تُو ہی ظاہر ہے اور تیرے اوپر کچھ نہیں اور تُو ہی باطن ہے اور تیرے نیچے کچھ نہیں۔ تُو نے ہی تورات، انجیل اور قرآن اتارا ہے۔ تُو ہی دانے اور گٹھلی کو پھاڑنے والا ہے۔ میں ہر چیز کے شر سے تیری پناہ میں آتی ہوں، بیشک تُو ہی اس کی پیشانی کو پکڑنے والا ہے۔ تُو ہی اول ہے، تیرے پہلے کچھ نہیں اور تُو ہی آخر ہے، تیرے بعد کچھ نہیں۔ ہمارا قرض ادا فرما اور ہمیں محتاجگی سے نواز دے۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Hazrat Fatima Radi Allahu Anha Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke pass ek khadim ka sawal lekar aayin. Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya tumhen ek khadim se behtar cheez na bataun? Tum kaho: Aye Allah! Saat asmanon ke Rabb aur Arsh Azeem ke Malik! Humare Rabb aur har cheez ke Rabb! Tu hi zahir hai aur tere upar kuch nahi aur Tu hi batin hai aur tere niche kuch nahi. Tu ne hi Taurat, Injeel aur Quran utara. Tu hi dane aur guthli ko pharne wala hai. Main har cheez ke shar se teri panaah mein aati hun, beshak Tu hi uski peshani ko pakarne wala hai. Tu hi Awal hai, tere pehle kuch nahi aur Tu hi Akhir hai, tere baad kuch nahi. Hamara qarz ada farma aur hamen muhtaji se nawaaz de.
Ibn Abbas narrated that: Abu Sufyan, son of Harb, came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and said, “O Muhammad, I ask you by Allah and kinship. We have eaten 'Al-Ilhiz' - meaning, the fur - and blood.” So Allah revealed, {And We seized them with the punishment, but they did not humble themselves to their Lord, nor did they supplicate [Him].}
ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ ابو سفیان بن حرب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آئے اور کہنے لگے، ’’اے محمد! میں آپ سے اللہ اور رشتہ داری کا واسطہ دے کر پوچھتا ہوں کہ ہم نے ’’العِلْز‘‘ یعنی مردار کھائے ہیں اور خون بھی پیا ہے‘‘ تو اللہ تعالیٰ نے یہ آیت نازل فرمائی {فَأَخَذْنَاهُمْ بِالْعَذَابِ فَمَا اسْتَكَانُوا لِرَبِّهِمْ وَمَا يَتَضَرَّعُونَ}
Ibne Abbas Raziallahu Anhuma se riwayat hai ke Abu Sufian bin Harb Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke paas aaye aur kehne lage, “Aye Muhammad! mein aapse Allah aur rishtedari ka wasta de kar poochta hun ke humne “al-ilz” yani murdar khaya hai aur khoon bhi piya hai” to Allah Ta’ala ne yeh ayat nazil farmai {Fa akhazna hum bil azab fa ma istakanoo lirabbihim wa ma yatazarraoon}
Anas ibn Malik narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "None of you should wish for death due to a calamity that has befallen him. But if he must do so, then he should say: 'O Allah, keep me alive as long as life is better for me, and take me when death is better for me.'"
حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”تم میں سے کوئی شخص اس مصیبت کے باعث موت کی آرزو نہ کرے جو اس پر آ پڑی ہے۔ ہاں اگر ایسا کہنا ہی چاہے تو کہے کہ اے اللہ! جب تک زندگی میرے لیے بہتر ہے تو مجھے زندہ رکھ اور جب موت میرے لیے بہتر ہو جائے تو مجھے اٹھا لے“۔
Hazrat Anas bin Malik Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: “Tum mein se koi shakhs is museebat ke baais mout ki aarzoo na kare jo is par aa padi hai. Haan agar aisa kehna hi chahe to kahe ki aye Allah! Jab tak zindagi mere liye behtar hai to mujhe zinda rakh aur jab mout mere liye behtar ho jaye to mujhe utha le”.
Anas ibn Malik narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "None of you should wish for death due to a calamity that has befallen him. But if he must, then he should say: 'O Allah, keep me alive so long as life is better for me, and cause me to die when death is better for me.'"
حضرت انس بن مالک رضى اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”تم میں سے کوئی شخص اس مصیبت کی وجہ سے موت کی آرزو نہ کرے جو اسے پیش آئی ہے اور اگر وہ (ایسا) کرے تو اسے چاہئے کہ کہے اے اللہ! مجھے زندہ رکھ جب تک کہ زندگی میرے لئے بہتر ہے اور مجھے موت دے جب کہ موت میرے لئے بہتر ہو“۔
Hazrat Anas bin Malik Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya "Tum mein se koi shakhs is museebat ki wajah se maut ki aarzoo na kare jo use pesh aai hai aur agar wo (aisa) kare to use chahiye ki kahe Aye Allah! mujhe zinda rakh jab tak ki zindagi mere liye behtar hai aur mujhe maut de jab ki maut mere liye behtar ho".
'Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Bakra reported from his father from the Prophet ﷺ , who said: "The supplication of the distressed person: 'O Allah, it is Your mercy that I hope for, so do not leave me in charge of my own affairs even for the blink of an eye, and rectify for me all of my affairs. None has the right to be worshipped except You.'"
حضرت عبدالرحمٰن بن ابی بکر رضی اللہ عنہ اپنے والد سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "مظلوم کی دعا یہ ہے: "اے اللہ، میں صرف تیری رحمت کا ہی امیدوار ہوں، پس مجھے پلک جھپکنے بھر کے لیے بھی میرے اپنے حال پر نہ چھوڑ، اور میرے تمام معاملات درست فرما دے۔ تیرے سوا کوئی عبادت کے لائق نہیں۔"
Hazrat Abdul Rahman bin Abi Bakr Radi Allahu Anhu apne walid se riwayat karte hain ki Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: Mazloom ki dua ye hai: Aye Allah main sirf teri rehmat ka hi umeedwar hun pas mujhe palak jhapakne bhar ke liye bhi mere apne haal par na chhor aur mere tamam mamlat durust farma de tere siwa koi ibadat ke laiq nahi.
Abu Huraira reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Three men from among those before you set out until they were overtaken by night, so they sought refuge in a cave and entered it. A rock fell from the mountain and blocked the opening of the cave. They said to one another, 'Nothing will save you from this rock except that you supplicate to Allah by your most righteous deeds.'
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا، "تم سے پہلے تین آدمی نکلے، یہاں تک کہ جب رات ان پر آگئی تو انہوں نے ایک غار میں پناہ لی اور اس میں داخل ہو گئے۔ پہاڑ سے ایک چٹان گری اور غار کا منہ بند ہو گیا۔ انہوں نے ایک دوسرے سے کہا کہ 'اس چٹان سے تمہیں کوئی چیز نہیں بچا سکتی سوائے اس کے کہ تم اپنے رب سے اپنے سب سے نیک اعمال کے ذریعے دعا کرو۔'"

Ibn Mas'ud reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "A servant will never say when he is afflicted with anxiety or grief, 'O Allah, I am Your servant, the son of Your servant, the son of Your maidservant. My forelock is in Your hand, Your command over me is fulfilled, and Your decree over me is just. I ask You by every name that is Yours, with which You have named Yourself, or You have revealed in Your Book, or You have taught to any of Your creation, or You have kept secret in the unseen knowledge with Yourself, that You make the Quran the spring of my heart, the light of my chest, the remover of my sadness, and the dispeller of my anxiety,' but Allah will remove his anxiety and replace his grief with joy." They said, "O Messenger of Allah, should we learn these words?" The Prophet said, "Yes, it is only fitting that whoever hears them should learn them."
حضرت ابن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "کوئی بندہ جب غم اور فکر میں مبتلا ہو کر یہ دعا کرے کہ ’اے اللہ! میں تیرا بندہ ہوں، تیری بندی کا بیٹا ہوں، میری ناصیہ تیری مٹھی میں ہے، تیرا حکم میرے اوپر جاری ہے اور تیرا فیصلہ میرے حق میں عین عدل ہے۔ میں تجھ سے ہر اس نام کی قسم دے کر مانگتا ہوں جن ناموں سے تو نے خود اپنا نام رکھا ہے یا اپنی کتاب میں نازل فرمایا ہے یا اپنی کسی مخلوق کو سکھایا ہے یا اپنے پاس غیب کے علم میں رکھا ہے کہ تو قرآن کو میرے دل کا سرچشمہ، میرے سینے کا نور، میرے غم کا مداوا اور میرے فکر کا حل بنا دے‘ تو اللہ تعالیٰ اس کا غم دور فرما دے گا اور اس کے غم کو خوشی سے بدل دے گا"۔ صحابہ نے عرض کیا: "اے اللہ کے رسول! کیا ہم ان الفاظ کو یاد کر لیں؟" آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "ہاں، یہ تو حق ہے کہ جو انہیں سنے انہیں یاد کر لے"۔
Hazrat Ibn Masood raza allah anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "Koi banda jab ghum aur fikr mein mubtala ho kar yeh dua kare ki 'Ae Allah! mein tera banda hun, teri bandi ka beta hun, meri nasiya teri muthi mein hai, tera hukm mere upar jari hai aur tera faisla mere haq mein ain adl hai. Mein tujh se har us naam ki qasam de kar mangta hun jin namon se tu ne khud apna naam rakha hai ya apni kitab mein nazil farmaya hai ya apni kisi makhlooq ko sikhaya hai ya apne pass ghaib ke ilm mein rakha hai ki tu Quran ko mere dil ka sirchashma, mere seene ka noor, mere ghum ka madawa aur mere fikr ka hal bana de' to Allah ta'ala uska ghum door farma de ga aur uske ghum ko khushi se badal de ga". Sahaba ne arz kiya: "Ae Allah ke Rasool! kya hum in alfaz ko yaad kar len?" Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "Haan, yeh to haq hai ki jo unhen sune unhen yaad kar le".
Anas narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "O Allah, there is no ease except in that which You make easy, and You make grief easy if You will."
حضرت انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ فرماتے تھے: "اے اللہ! سختی میں آسانی پیدا فرمانے والے سوائے تیرے کوئی نہیں اور اگر تو چاہے تو غم کو بھی آسان کر دیتا ہے۔"
Hazrat Anas Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam farmate thy: "Aye Allah! Sakhti mein asani peda farmane wale siwae tere koi nahi aur agar tu chahe to ghum ko bhi asan kar deta hai."
Abu Huraira reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "The supplication of one of you will be answered as long as he is not hasty and says, 'I supplicated but it was not answered.'"
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”تم میں سے کسی کی دعا اس وقت تک قبول ہوتی رہے گی جب تک وہ جلدی نہ کرے اور یہ نہ کہے کہ میں نے دعا کی لیکن میری دعا قبول نہیں ہوئی۔“
Hazrat Abu Huraira Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: Tum mein se kisi ki dua us waqt tak kabool hoti rahe gi jab tak wo jaldi na kare aur ye na kahe ki maine dua ki lekin meri dua kabool nahi hui.
Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "A slave's supplication will continue to be answered as long as he does not ask for sin or for the severing of family ties, and as long as he is not impatient." It was said: "O Messenger of Allah! What is impatience?" He said: "He says: 'I have supplicated and supplicated, but I do not see that You answer me,' so he gives up supplication."
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”بندے کی دعا قبول ہوتی رہتی ہے جب تک وہ گناہ کی دعا نہ کرے یا رشتہ داری کے ٹوٹنے کی دعا نہ کرے اور نہ ہی جلد بازی کرے۔“ کہا گیا: ”اللہ کے رسول! جلد بازی کیا ہے؟“ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”یہ کہ وہ کہے کہ میں نے دعا مانگی، دعا مانگی لیکن میں نے نہیں دیکھا کہ آپ میری دعا قبول فرمائیں، پس وہ دعا کرنا چھوڑ دیتا ہے۔“
Hazrat Abu Hurairah Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai keh Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Bande ki dua qabool hoti rehti hai jab tak woh gunah ki dua na kare ya rishtedari ke tootne ki dua na kare aur na hi jaldbazi kare." Kaha gaya: "Allah ke Rasool! Jaldbazi kya hai?" Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Yeh keh woh kahe keh maine dua maangi, dua maangi lekin maine nahi dekha keh aap meri dua qabool farmaen, pas woh dua karna chhor deta hai."
Abu Huraira reported that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Do not say, 'Oh Allah, forgive me if You will,' but be resolute in supplication."
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "یہ نہ کہو کہ ’اے اللہ! اگر آپ چاہیں تو مجھے بخش دیں‘ بلکہ دعا میں پختہ ارادہ کرو۔"
Hazrat Abu Huraira Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai keh Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Yeh na kaho keh 'Aye Allah! Agar aap chahein to mujhe bakhsh dein' balkeh dua mein pakka irada karo."
Narrated Aisha: She said: "Deliver the sermon (about an issue) once on Friday. If you refuse, then twice. If you refuse, then three times, and I do not find you coming to the people while they are (engaged) in their talks, then interrupting them. But if they listen to your talk, then talk to them. And avoid rhyming in the supplication, for I have seen that the Prophet (ﷺ) and his Companions disliked that.”
''حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا بیان کرتی ہیں کہ وہ فرماتی تھیں: ''جمعہ کے دن (کسی مسئلہ کے بارے میں) ایک بار خطبہ دو۔ اگر تم انکار کرتے ہو تو دو بار۔ اگر تم انکار کرتے ہو تو تین بار، اور میں تمہیں لوگوں کے پاس آتے ہوئے نہیں دیکھتی جبکہ وہ اپنی باتوں میں (مصروف) ہوں، پھر انہیں روکتے ہو۔ لیکن اگر وہ تمہاری بات سنتے ہیں تو ان سے بات کرو۔ اور دعا میں قافیہ سے گریز کرو، کیونکہ میں نے دیکھا ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اور آپ کے صحابہ کرام اسے ناپسند کرتے تھے۔''
Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allahu Anha bayan karti hain ke woh farmati thin: "Juma ke din (kisi masle ke bare mein) ek baar khutba do. Agar tum inkar karte ho to do baar. Agar tum inkar karte ho to teen baar, aur main tumhein logon ke paas aate huye nahin dekhti jab tak ke woh apni baton mein (masroof) hon, phir unhein roko. Lekin agar woh tumhari baat sunte hain to unse baat karo. Aur dua mein qafiya se guraiz karo, kyunki maine dekha hai ke Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam aur aap ke sahaba kiram ise napasand karte thay."
Narrated Abu Huraira: A young boy belonging to the tribe of Daus came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said, "O Messenger of Allah! The tribe of Daus has disobeyed and refused (to embrace Islam), so invoke Allah against them." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "O Allah! Guide the tribe of Daus (to the right path), and bring them (to Islam)."
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ قبیلہ دوس کا ایک لڑکا نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آیا اور کہا: اللہ کے رسول! قبیلہ دوس نے نافرمانی کی اور (اسلام قبول کرنے سے) انکار کردیا، تو آپ ان پر اللہ سے بد دعا کریں۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اے اللہ! قبیلہ دوس کو ہدایت دے اور انہیں (اسلام کی طرف) لے آ ۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai keh qabeela Dos ka aik larka Nabi Kareem sallallahu alaihi wasallam ke pass aaya aur kaha: Allah ke Rasool! Qabeela Dos ne nafarmani ki aur (Islam qubool karne se) inkar kar diya, to aap un per Allah se bad dua karen. Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: Aye Allah! Qabeela Dos ko hidayat de aur unhein (Islam ki taraf) le aa.
Ibn 'Aun reported that a man came to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and he mentioned Daws. The man said, "They..." and he mentioned their men and their women. The Prophet raised his hands and the man said, "Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return. Daws is doomed, by the Lord of the Ka'bah." The Prophet raised his hands and said, "O Allah, guide Daws."
ابن عون رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ ایک شخص رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا اور اس نے دوس قبیلے کا ذکر کیا۔ اس شخص نے کہا کہ "وہ لوگ۔۔۔" اور اس نے ان کے مردوں اور عورتوں کا ذکر کیا۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنے ہاتھ اٹھائے تو اس شخص نے کہا، "ہم اللہ ہی کے ہیں اور یقیناً ہم اسی کی طرف لوٹ کر جائیں گے۔ کعبہ کے رب کی قسم! دوس ہلاک ہو گیا۔" آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنے ہاتھ اٹھائے اور فرمایا، "اے اللہ! دوس کو ہدایت دے دے۔"
Ibn Aun razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai ki aik shakhs Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ki khidmat mein hazir hua aur usne دوس qabile ka zikar kiya. Uss shakhs ne kaha ki "woh log..." aur usne unke mardon aur auraton ka zikar kiya. Nabi kareem sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne apne hath uthaye tou uss shakhs ne kaha, "hum Allah hi ke hain aur yaqinan hum usi ki taraf laut kar jayenge. Kaba ke Rabb ki qasam! دوس halaak ho gaya." Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne apne hath uthaye aur farmaya, "ai Allah! دوس ko hidayat de de."
Ibn Mas'ud narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) went out one day, and we went out with him, until we reached the graveyard. He commanded us, and we sat down. He then went ahead between the graves, until he reached a grave amongst them, and he sat by it and conversed with (the occupant of) it for a long time. Then the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) returned weeping, and we wept because the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) wept. He then turned to us, and Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, met him and said: "What made you cry, O Messenger of Allah? You have made us cry and frightened us." So he took 'Umar by the hand, then turned to us and said: "Did my weeping frighten you?" We said: "Yes." He said: "The grave which you saw me conversing with is the grave of Aminah bint Wahb. I asked my Lord for permission to seek forgiveness for her, but He did not grant me permission. Then what a child feels for its parent overcame me, and that is what made me cry. And I used to forbid you from visiting graves, so visit them, for they remind you of the Hereafter and make you less attached to this world."
حضرت ابن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ ایک دن رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم باہر تشریف لے گئے اور ہم بھی آپ کے ساتھ نکلے یہاں تک کہ ہم قبرستان پہنچ گئے۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہمیں حکم دیا تو ہم بیٹھ گئے۔ پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم قبروں کے درمیان آگے بڑھے یہاں تک کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ان میں سے ایک قبر کے پاس پہنچے اور اس کے پاس بیٹھ گئے اور اس (میں دفن شخص) سے طویل دیر تک باتیں کرتے رہے۔ پھر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم روتے ہوئے واپس تشریف لائے تو ہم بھی رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے رونے پر رو پڑے۔ پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہماری طرف متوجہ ہوئے تو حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے ملے اور عرض کی: "اے اللہ کے رسول! آپ کو کس چیز نے رلایا؟ آپ نے ہمیں رلایا اور ڈرایا ہے۔" تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کا ہاتھ پکڑا، پھر ہماری طرف متوجہ ہوئے اور فرمایا: "کیا میرے رونے نے تمہیں ڈرایا ہے؟" ہم نے کہا: "جی ہاں۔" آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "وہ قبر جسے تم نے مجھے مخاطب کر کے باتیں کرتے دیکھا ہے وہ ام امینہ بنت وہب کی قبر ہے۔ میں نے اپنے رب سے ان کی مغفرت کی اجازت طلب کی لیکن اس نے مجھے اجازت نہیں دی۔ پھر مجھے اپنے ماں باپ کے لیے جو اولاد کی محبت ہوتی ہے وہ مجھ پر غالب آگئی اور اسی وجہ سے میں رو پڑا۔ اور میں تمہیں قبروں کی زیارت سے منع کرتا تھا، لہٰذا ان کی زیارت کرو کیونکہ وہ تمہیں آخرت کی یاد دلاتے ہیں اور دنیا کی محبت تمہارے دلوں سے نکال دیتے ہیں۔"
Hazrat Ibn Masood (RA) se riwayat hai ke ek din Rasool Allah (SAW) bahar tashreef le gaye aur hum bhi aap ke saath nikle yahan tak ke hum qabristan pahunche. Aap (SAW) ne humein hukm diya to hum baith gaye. Phir aap (SAW) qabro ke darmiyaan aage barhe yahan tak ke aap (SAW) in mein se ek qabar ke paas pahunche aur uske paas baith gaye aur us (mein dafan shakhs) se tool dair tak baatein karte rahe. Phir Rasool Allah (SAW) rote hue wapas tashreef laaye to hum bhi Rasool Allah (SAW) ke rone par ro pare. Phir aap (SAW) humari taraf mutawajjah hue to Hazrat Umar (RA) aap (SAW) se mile aur arz ki: "Aye Allah ke Rasool! Aap ko kis cheez ne rulaya? Aap ne humein rulaya aur daraya hai." To aap (SAW) ne Hazrat Umar (RA) ka haath pakra, phir humari taraf mutawajjah hue aur farmaya: "Kya mere rone ne tumhein daraya hai?" Hum ne kaha: "Jee haan." Aap (SAW) ne farmaya: "Woh qabar jise tum ne mujhe mukhatib kar ke baatein karte dekha hai woh Umm Aamina bint Wahab ki qabar hai. Main ne apne Rab se un ki maghfirat ki ijazat talab ki lekin us ne mujhe ijazat nahin di. Phir mujhe apne maan baap ke liye jo aulad ki mohabbat hoti hai woh mujh par ghalib aa gayi aur isi wajah se main ro para. Aur main tumhein qabro ki ziarat se mana karta tha, lihaza un ki ziarat karo kyunke woh tumhein aakhirat ki yaad dilate hain aur duniya ki mohabbat tumhare dilon se nikal dete hain."
Sa'id bin Al-Musayyab narrated from his father that:
When Abu Talib was about to die, the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) came to him while Abu Jahl and Abdullah bin Abi Umayya bin Al-Mughirah were with him. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "O Uncle! Say: 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah', I will bear witness for you before Allah that you said this." Abu Jahl and 'Abdullah bin Abi Umayya said: "O Abu Talib! Will you abandon the religion of 'Abdul-Muttalib?" The Prophet (ﷺ) kept on inviting him to this (Islam) and repeating that statement to him until Abu Talib said in his last statement: "I am on the religion of 'Abdul-Muttalib." He refused to say: 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah.' So the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "I will ask forgiveness for you as long as I am not forbidden (by Allah) to do so." So Allah revealed: "It is not (proper) for the Prophet and those who believe to ask Allah's Forgiveness for the Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, pagans, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) even though they be of kin, after it has become clear to them that they are the dwellers of the Fire (because they died in a state of disbelief)." (9:113) And concerning Abu Talib, this was revealed: "Verily, you (O Muhammad) guide not whom you like, but Allah guides whom He will. And He knows best those who are the guided." (28:56)
سعد بن المسیب نے اپنے والد سے روایت کی ہے کہ: جب ابو طالب وفات کے قریب تھے تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ان کے پاس آئے جبکہ ابو جہل اور عبداللہ بن ابی امیہ بن المغیرہ بھی ان کے پاس موجود تھے۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "اے چچا! کہو: 'اللہ کے سوا کوئی عبادت کے لائق نہیں'، میں اللہ کے سامنے تمہاری گواہی دوں گا کہ تم نے یہ کہا۔" ابو جہل اور عبداللہ بن ابی امیہ نے کہا: "اے ابو طالب! کیا تم عبدالمطلب کے دین کو چھوڑ دو گے؟" نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم انہیں اسلام کی دعوت دیتے رہے اور یہ بات دہراتے رہے یہاں تک کہ ابو طالب نے اپنی آخری بات میں کہا: "میں عبدالمطلب کے دین پر ہوں۔" انہوں نے 'اللہ کے سوا کوئی عبادت کے لائق نہیں' کہنے سے انکار کر دیا۔ تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا، "جب تک مجھے منع نہ کر دیا جائے میں تمہاری مغفرت کی دعا کرتا رہوں گا۔" تو اللہ تعالیٰ نے یہ آیت نازل فرمائی: "پیغمبر اور ایمان والوں کے لیے یہ جائز نہیں کہ وہ مشرکوں کے لیے مغفرت کی دعا کریں اگرچہ وہ ان کے رشتہ دار ہی کیوں نہ ہوں۔ جبکہ ان پر یہ بات کھل چکی ہو کہ وہ جہنمی ہیں۔" (التوبہ: 113) اور ابو طالب کے بارے میں یہ آیت نازل ہوئی: "بے شک آپ جسے چاہیں ہدایت نہیں دے سکتے لیکن اللہ جسے چاہتا ہے ہدایت دیتا ہے اور وہ ہدایت والوں کو خوب جانتا ہے۔" (القصص: 56)
Sad bin al-Musayyab ne apne wald se riwayat ki hai ki: Jab Abu Talib wafat ke qareeb the to Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam unke pass aaye jabke Abu Jahl aur Abdullah bin Abi Umayya bin al-Mughirah bhi unke pass maujood the. Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "Aye chacha! Kaho: 'Allah ke siwa koi ibadat ke layeq nahin', main Allah ke samne tumhari gawahi dun ga ki tum ne ye kaha." Abu Jahl aur Abdullah bin Abi Umayya ne kaha: "Aye Abu Talib! Kya tum Abd al-Muttalib ke deen ko chhod do ge?" Nabi Kareem sallallahu alaihi wasallam unhen Islam ki dawat dete rahe aur ye baat dohrate rahe yahan tak ki Abu Talib ne apni aakhri baat mein kaha: "Main Abd al-Muttalib ke deen par hun." Unhon ne 'Allah ke siwa koi ibadat ke layeq nahin' kehne se inkar kar diya. To Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya, "Jab tak mujhe mana na kar diya jaye main tumhari maghfirat ki dua karta rahun ga." To Allah ta'ala ne ye ayat nazil farmayi: "Paighambar aur imaan walon ke liye ye jaiz nahin ki woh mushrikon ke liye maghfirat ki dua karen agarche woh unke rishtedar hi kyun na hon. Jabke un par ye baat khul chuki ho ki woh jahannami hain." (Al-Tawbah: 113) Aur Abu Talib ke bare mein ye ayat nazil hui: "Be shak aap jise chahen hidayat nahin de sakte lekin Allah jise chahta hai hidayat deta hai aur woh hidayat walon ko khoob janta hai." (Al-Qasas: 56)
Ibn Abbas narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "If one of you, when intending to have intercourse with his wife, says: 'Bismillah, Allahumma jannibna ash-shaitan wa jannibi ash-shaitana ma razaqtana [In the Name of Allah, O Allah, keep us away from Satan and keep Satan away from what You bestow upon us], then if they are destined to have a child, Satan will not harm him."
حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: "جب تم میں سے کوئی اپنی بیوی کے پاس جماع کا ارادہ کرے تو کہے: 'بسم اللہ، اللّٰھم جنّبنا الشّیطن و جنّب الشّیطن ما رزقتنا' (اے اللہ کے نام سے شروع کرتا ہوں، اے اللہ! ہمیں شیطان سے بچا اور ہمیں جو اولاد عطا فرمائے اسے بھی شیطان سے بچا) تو اگر ان کے مقدر میں اولاد ہوئی تو اسے شیطان نقصان نہیں پہنچا سکے گا۔"
Hazrat Ibn Abbas Raziallahu Anhuma se riwayat hai ke Nabi SAW ne farmaya: "Jab tum mein se koi apni biwi ke pass jima ka irada kare to kahe: 'Bismillah, Allahumma jannibna-sh-shaitan wa jannib-ish-shaitan ma razaqtana' (Aye Allah ke naam se shuru karta hun, Aye Allah! Hamein shaitan se bacha aur hamein jo aulad ata farmaye usay bhi shaitan se bacha) to agar un ke muqaddar mein aulad hui to usay shaitan nuqsan nahin pahuncha sake ga."
Jabir narrated that: I went to the Prophet (ﷺ) to ask him to help me repay a debt that was on my father. He said: "I will come to you." I said to my wife: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) is coming to us, so do not speak to him or bother him." He came, and I slaughtered a young chicken for him. He said: "O Jabir, it is as if you knew of our love for meat?" When he went out, the woman said to him: "O Messenger of Allah! Send blessings upon me and my husband!" So he did, and said to her: "Did I not tell you?" She said: "O Messenger of Allah, you would enter and leave my house without offering prayers for us!"
جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ میں نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس حاضر ہوا اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اپنے والد کے ایک قرض کی ادائیگی میں مدد طلب کی۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”میں تمہارے پاس آؤں گا“۔ میں نے اپنی بیوی سے کہا: ”اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہمارے ہاں تشریف لا رہے ہیں، لہٰذا آپ ان سے کچھ نہ کہنا اور نہ انہیں تنگ کرنا“۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم تشریف لائے تو میں نے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے لیے ایک مرغ ذبح کیا۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”اے جابر! گویا تمہیں ہمارے گوشت سے شوق کا علم تھا؟“۔ جب آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم باہر تشریف لے گئے تو عورت نے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے کہا: ”اللہ کے رسول! مجھ پر اور میرے شوہر پر رحمتیں نازل فرمائیے“۔ تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے دعا فرما دی اور اس سے کہا: ”کیا میں نے تمہیں نہیں بتایا تھا؟“۔ عورت نے کہا: ”اللہ کے رسول! آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم میرے گھر میں داخل ہوتے اور باہر نکل جاتے تھے لیکن ہمارے لیے دعا نہیں کرتے تھے! “
Jibir Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai keh mein Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke pass hazir hua aur aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam se apne wald ke aik qarz ki adaegi mein madad talab ki. Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Mein tumhare pass aaoon ga". Mein ne apni biwi se kaha: "Allah ke Rasool Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam humare han tashreef la rahe hain, lihaza aap un se kuch na kehna aur na unhen tang karna". Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam tashreef laye to mein ne aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke liye aik murgh zibah kiya. Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Aye Jabir! Goya tumhen humare gosht se shauq ka ilm tha?". Jab aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam bahar tashreef le gaye to aurat ne aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam se kaha: "Allah ke Rasool! Mujh par aur mere shohar par rehmaten nazil farmaie". To aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne dua farma di aur us se kaha: "Kya mein ne tumhen nahin bataya tha?". Aurat ne kaha: "Allah ke Rasool! Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam mere ghar mein dakhil hote aur bahar nikal jate the lekin humare liye dua nahin karte the!"
Abu Huraira reported: An Arab came into the mosque while Allah's Messenger ﷺ was sitting there and said, "O Allah, grant pardon to me and Muhammad, and grant no pardon to anyone along with us." Allah's Messenger ﷺ smiled and said, "You have, indeed, drawn a wide cloak (of your request)." Then the Arab turned away and went to a corner of the mosque and passed urine there. The Arab, after becoming a Muslim, said: I stood up before Allah's Messenger ﷺ (to apologize) but he neither rebuked me, nor did he say anything harsh to me. He (simply) said, "This mosque has not been built for this purpose but for the remembrance of Allah and for prayer; and he is no doubt in the wrong." He then called for an earthen pot containing water and poured it over the urine.
ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ ایک دیہاتی مسجد میں داخل ہوا جبکہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم وہاں تشریف فرما تھے۔ اس نے کہا : اے اللہ ! مجھ پر اور محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پر رحم فرما اور ہمارے ساتھ کسی اور پر رحم نہ فرما ۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم مسکرائے اور فرمایا : ” تم نے ( اپنی درخواست میں ) بہت بڑی وسعت رکھی “۔ پھر وہ دیہاتی پلٹا اور مسجد کے ایک کونے میں جا کر پیشاب کر دیا ۔ وہ دیہاتی جب مسلمان ہو گیا تو کہنے لگا : میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے سامنے کھڑا ہوا ( تا کہ معافی مانگوں ) لیکن آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے نہ تو مجھے ڈانٹا اور نہ ہی مجھ سے کوئی سخت بات کہی بلکہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : ” یہ مسجد اس کام کے لیے نہیں بنائی گئی بلکہ یہ تو اللہ کے ذکر اور نماز کے لیے بنائی گئی ہے “۔ اور وہ ( پیشاب کر کے ) یقیناً غلطی پر تھا ۔ پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے پانی کا ایک برتن منگوایا اور اسے پیشاب پر ڈلوادیا ۔
Abu Hurairah razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai ki ek dehati masjid mein dakhil hua jabke Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam wahan tashreef farma thay. Usne kaha: Aye Allah! Mujh par aur Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam par reham farma aur hamare saath kisi aur par reham na farma. Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam muskurae aur farmaya: "Tum ne (apni darkhwast mein) bahut badi wusat rakhi". Phir woh dehati palta aur masjid ke ek kone mein ja kar peshab kar diya. Woh dehati jab musalman ho gaya to kehne laga: mein Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ke samne khada hua (taake maafi maangoon) lekin aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne na to mujhe danta aur na hi mujhse koi sakht baat kahi balke aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "Yeh masjid is kaam ke liye nahi banayi gayi balke yeh to Allah ke zikr aur namaz ke liye banayi gayi hai". Aur woh (peshab kar ke) yaqinan ghalti par tha. Phir aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne pani ka ek bartan mangwaya aur use peshab par dilwa diya.
Abu Huraira reported that the Prophet ﷺ stood up to pray and we stood with him. A Bedouin in prayer said, “O Allah, have mercy upon me and upon Muhammad, and do not have mercy upon anyone along with us.” When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ finished praying, he said to the Bedouin, “You have indeed confined something expansive,” meaning the mercy of Allah.
ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نماز کے لیے کھڑے ہوئے تو ہم آپ ﷺ کے ساتھ کھڑے ہو گئے۔ ایک بدو نے نماز میں کہا، "اے اللہ! مجھ پر اور محمد ﷺ پر رحم فرما اور ہمارے ساتھ کسی اور پر رحم نہ فرما۔" جب رسول اللہ ﷺ نماز سے فارغ ہوئے تو آپ ﷺ نے اس بدو سے فرمایا، "تم نے اللہ کی رحمت کو محدود کر دیا ہے" یعنی اللہ کی رحمت بہت وسیع ہے۔
Abu Hurairah razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai ke Nabi Kareem sallallahu alaihi wasallam namaz ke liye khade huye to hum aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ke sath khade ho gaye. Ek badu ne namaz mein kaha, "Ae Allah! Mujh par aur Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam par reham farma aur humare sath kisi aur par reham na farma." Jab Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam namaz se farigh huye to aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne us badu se farmaya, "Tum ne Allah ki rehmat ko mehdood kar diya hai" yani Allah ki rehmat bohat wasee hai.
Ubay ibn Ka'b reported:
Whenever Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) mentioned any Prophet, he would begin with himself and he once said, “May the mercy of Allah be upon us and upon Moses, if only he had been patient with his companion he would have seen wonders, but he said, 'If you ask me about anything after this, I will no longer accompany you.”
عبّے بن کعب رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب بھی کسی نبی کا ذکر فرماتے تو اپنا ذکر پہلے فرماتے اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک بار فرمایا اللہ کی رحمت ہم پر اور موسیٰ پر ہو، کاش کہ وہ اپنے ساتھی پر صبر کرتے تو وہ عجیب و غریب چیزیں دیکھتے، لیکن انہوں نے کہہ دیا کہ اگر تم نے اس کے بعد مجھ سے کچھ پوچھا تو میں تمہارا ساتھ نہیں دوں گا۔
Ubay bin Kaab Raziallahu Anhu se riwayat hai ke Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam jab bhi kisi nabi ka zikar farmate to apna zikar pehle farmate aur aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne ek baar farmaya Allah ki rehmat hum par aur Musa par ho kash ke wo apne saathi par sabar karte to wo ajeeb o gareeb cheezen dekhte lekin unhon ne keh diya ke agar tumne iske baad mujhse kuch poocha to main tumhara saath nahi dun ga
Abu Darda reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “There is no Muslim who supplicates for his brother behind his back but that the angel says: And for you the same.”
حضرت ابو درداء رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ”جو مسلمان اپنے بھائی کی پیٹھ پیچھے اس کے لیے دعا کرتا ہے تو فرشتہ کہتا ہے کہ اور تمہارے لیے بھی آمین۔“
Hazrat Abu Dardaa Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ke Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya "Jo musalman apne bhai ki peeth peeche us ke liye dua karta hai to farishta kehta hai ke aur tumhare liye bhi ameen."
Anas bin Malik narrated that:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) visited Umm Sulaym, and she brought him some dates and some ghee. He said, "Return your ghee to its container, and your dates to their container, for I am fasting." He then prayed a prayer that is not obligatory, and we prayed with him. He then invoked Allah in favor of Umm Sulaym and the people of her house. Umm Sulaym said, "O Messenger of Allah! I have a Khusayfah (a young boy who is not yet old enough to be separated from his mother) ." He said, "What is it, O Umm Sulaym?" She said, "Your servant Anas." So he invoked Allah in favor of him for the best of this world and the Hereafter, and he said, "O Allah! Grant him wealth and children, and bless him." He said, "And I am among the people who have the most children."
حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ام سلیم رضی اللہ عنہا کے پاس تشریف لائے تو انہوں نے آپ کے لیے کھجوریں اور گھی پیش کیا آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا لو اپنا گھی اپنے برتن میں رکھ لو اور کھجوریں اپنے برتن میں میں روزے سے ہوں پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے نفل نماز پڑھی اور ہم نے آپ کے ساتھ نماز پڑھی پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ام سلیم رضی اللہ عنہا اور ان کے گھر والوں کے لیے دعا فرمائی ام سلیم رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہا اے اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم میرے پاس ایک خسیفہ ہے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا وہ کیا ہے اے ام سلیم انہوں نے کہا آپ کا خادم انس آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان کے لیے دنیا اور آخرت کی خیر کی دعا فرمائی اور کہا اے اللہ اسے مال اور اولاد عطا فرما اور اسے برکت عطا فرما اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا اور میں زیادہ اولاد والوں میں سے ہوں
Hazrat Anas bin Malik Radi Allaho Anho se riwayat hai ke Raaol Allah Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam Umm e Sulaim Radi Allaho Anha ke paas tashreef laaye to unhon ne aap ke liye khajoorein aur ghee pesh kiya aap Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne farmaya lo apna ghee apne bartann mein rakh lo aur khajoorein apne bartan mein mein rozy se hun phir aap Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne nafal namaz parhi aur hum ne aap ke sath namaz parhi phir aap Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne Umm e Sulaim Radi Allaho Anha aur un ke ghar walon ke liye dua farmai Umm e Sulaim Radi Allaho Anha ne kaha aye Allah ke Rasool Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam mere paas ek kaseefa hai aap Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne farmaya wo kya hai aye Umm e Sulaim unhon ne kaha aap ka khadim Anas aap Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne un ke liye dunya aur aakhirat ki khair ki dua farmai aur kaha aye Allah ise maal aur aulad ata farma aur ise barkat ata farma aur aap Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne farmaya aur mein zyada aulad walon mein se hun
Aisha narrated:
People complained to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, about a drought. So he commanded that the minbar be brought out and ablution water was prepared for him in the prayer place. He promised the people a day on which they should go out. Aisha said, "The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, went out when the edge of the sun appeared. He sat on the minbar and praised Allah and extolled Him. Then he said, 'Verily, you have complained about your gardens drying up and the rain being withheld from its usual time. Allah has commanded you to supplicate Him and He has promised you that He will respond to you.'" Then he said, "Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, the Most Merciful, the Owner of the Day of Recompense! There is none worthy of worship but You. You do what You will. O Allah, You are Allah, there is none worthy of worship but You, the Rich and we are the poor. Send down rain upon us and make what You send down a strength for us and a provision until the time (of harvest)." Then the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, raised his hands until we saw the whiteness of his armpits. Then he turned his back to the people and switched - or reversed - his cloak while he was raising his hands. Then he faced the people, descended, and prayed two units of prayer. Then Allah brought forth a cloud, it thundered, lightning flashed, and it rained by Allah's permission. He did not remain in his mosque long until streams were flowing. When the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, saw the people hurrying to put on their garments, he laughed until his molars could be seen. He said, "I bear witness that Allah is over all things competent and that I am the servant of Allah and His Messenger."
عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا بیان کرتی ہیں: لوگوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے خشک سالی کی شکایت کی۔ تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے حکم دیا کہ منبر لایا جائے اور نماز کی جگہ پر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے لیے وضو کا پانی تیار کیا جائے۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے لوگوں سے ایک دن کا وعدہ فرمایا جس دن وہ باہر نکلیں۔ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں، "رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب سورج نکل آیا تو باہر تشریف لائے۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم منبر پر بیٹھے اور اللہ تعالیٰ کی حمد و ثنا بیان فرمائی۔ پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا، 'بے شک تم نے اپنے باغات کے سوکھ جانے اور بارش کے اپنے معمول کے وقت سے روکے جانے کی شکایت کی ہے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ نے تمہیں حکم دیا ہے کہ تم اس سے دعا کرو اور اس نے تم سے وعدہ فرمایا ہے کہ وہ تمہاری دعا قبول فرمائے گا۔'" پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا، "سب تعریفیں اللہ کے لیے ہیں جو تمام جہانوں کا رب ہے، بڑا مہربان ہے، بدلہ دینے والے دن کا مالک ہے۔ تیرے سوا کوئی عبادت کے لائق نہیں ہے۔ تو جو چاہتا ہے کرتا ہے۔ اے اللہ، تو ہی اللہ ہے، تیرے سوا کوئی عبادت کے لائق نہیں، تو ہی بے نیاز ہے اور ہم تیرے در کے فقیر ہیں۔ ہم پر بارش نازل فرما اور جو کچھ تو نازل فرمائے اسے ہمارے لیے قوت اور (فصل کے وقت) تک کا رزق بنا دے۔" پھر نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنے ہاتھ اٹھائے یہاں تک کہ ہم نے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی بغل کی سفیدی دیکھ لی۔ پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے لوگوں کی طرف اپنی پیٹھ کی اور اپنا چادر بدلا - یا الٹا کیا - جبکہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہاتھ اٹھائے ہوئے تھے۔ پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے لوگوں کی طرف رخ کیا، نیچے اترے، اور دو رکعت نماز پڑھی۔ پھر اللہ تعالیٰ نے ایک بادل لایا، اس نے گرج چمک کی، اور اللہ کے حکم سے بارش ہوئی۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اپنی مسجد میں زیادہ دیر تک نہیں رہے تھے کہ ندیاں بہنے لگیں۔ جب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے لوگوں کو اپنے کپڑے پہننے کے لیے جلدی کرتے دیکھا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اتنا ہنسے کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے دانت مبارک نظر آنے لگے۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا، "میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ اللہ تعالیٰ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے اور میں اللہ کا بندہ اور اس کا رسول ہوں۔"
Ayesha Radi Allahu Anha bayan karti hain: Logon ne Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam se khushki ki shikayat ki. To aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne hukum diya ke mimbar laya jaye aur namaz ki jagah par aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke liye wuzu ka pani taiyar kiya jaye. Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne logon se ek din ka wada farmaya jis din woh bahar niklein. Ayesha Radi Allahu Anha kahti hain, "Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam jab suraj nikal aaya to bahar tashreef laaye. Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam mimbar par baithe aur Allah Ta'ala ki hamd o sana bayan farmaee. Phir aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya, 'Beshak tumne apne baghon ke sookh jaane aur barish ke apne mamuli waqt se roke jaane ki shikayat ki hai. Allah Ta'ala ne tumhein hukum diya hai ke tum us se dua karo aur us ne tum se wada farmaya hai ke woh tumhari dua kubool farmayega.'" Phir aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya, "Sab tareefain Allah ke liye hain jo tamam jahano ka rab hai, bada meharban hai, badla dene wala din ka malik hai. Tere siwa koi ibadat ke layeq nahin. To jo chahta hai karta hai. Aye Allah, tu hi Allah hai, tere siwa koi ibadat ke layeq nahin, tu hi be niyaz hai aur hum tere dar ke faqeer hain. Hum par barish nazil farma aur jo kuchh tu nazil farmaye use hamare liye quwwat aur (fasal ke waqt) tak ka rizq bana de." Phir Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne apne hath uthaye yahan tak ke humne aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ki baghal ki safedi dekh li. Phir aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne logon ki taraf apni peeth ki aur apna chadar badla - ya ulta kiya - jabke aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam hath uthaye hue the. Phir aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne logon ki taraf rukh kiya, neeche utre, aur do rakat namaz parhi. Phir Allah Ta'ala ne ek badal laya, us ne garaj chamak ki, aur Allah ke hukum se barish hui. Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam apni masjid mein zyada der tak nahin rahe the ke nadiyan behene lagi. Jab Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne logon ko apne kapde pehenne ke liye jaldi karte dekha to aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam itna hanse ke aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke daant mubarak nazar aane lage. Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya, "Main gawahi deta hun ke Allah Ta'ala har cheez par qaadir hai aur main Allah ka banda aur is ka rasool hun."
Anas bin Malik said: A man entered the Masjid on a Friday while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was delivering a Khutbah. It seemed as if he was hoping to reach the Minbar. He stood facing the Prophet ﷺ, who stood up to face him. The man said, "O Messenger of Allah, the livestock have perished and the paths have been cut off. Please pray to Allah for us to be relieved." So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ raised his hands and said, "O Allah, give us rain! O Allah, give us rain!" Anas said, "By Allah, there was not a single cloud in the sky between us and Sal' (a mountain), neither over a house nor over a dwelling. Then, from behind it, a cloud appeared like a shield. When it came over us in the middle of the sky, it spread and then it rained. By Allah, we did not see the sun for six days. Then, on the following Friday, a man entered from that door while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was delivering the Khutbah. He stood facing him and the Prophet ﷺ stood up to face him. He said, "O Messenger of Allah! Our possessions have perished, and the paths have been cut off. Please pray to Allah to withhold it from us." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ raised his hands and said, "O Allah, (let the rain fall) around us and not on us. O Allah, (let it fall) on the hills, hillocks, valleys, and the roots of trees." Anas said, "The clouds dispersed, and the Prophet ﷺ left, walking in the sun. I asked Anas, "Was it the same man?" He said, "I don't know."
حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ ایک آدمی جمعہ کے دن مسجد میں داخل ہوا جبکہ رسول اللہ ﷺ خطبہ دے رہے تھے۔ ایسا لگ رہا تھا کہ جیسے وہ منبر تک پہنچنے کی امید رکھتا ہے۔ وہ نبی ﷺ کے سامنے کھڑا ہوا، آپ ﷺ نے اس کی طرف رخ کیا۔ اس آدمی نے کہا، "اے اللہ کے رسول! مویشی ہلاک ہو گئے ہیں اور راستے بند ہو گئے ہیں۔ اللہ سے دعا فرمائیں کہ ہم پر رحم کیا جائے۔" تو رسول اللہ ﷺ نے اپنے ہاتھ اٹھائے اور کہا، "اے اللہ! ہمیں بارش عطا فرما! اے اللہ! ہمیں بارش عطا فرما!" حضرت انس رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا، "اللہ کی قسم! ہمارے اور صلع (ایک پہاڑ) کے درمیان آسمان میں ایک بھی بادل نہیں تھا، نہ کسی گھر کے اوپر اور نہ ہی کسی بستی پر۔ پھر اس کے پیچھے سے ڈھال کی طرح ایک بادل نمودار ہوا۔ جب وہ آسمان کے درمیان میں ہمارے اوپر آیا تو وہ پھیل گیا اور پھر بارش ہونے لگی۔ اللہ کی قسم! ہم نے چھ دن تک سورج نہیں دیکھا۔" پھر اگلے جمعہ کو ایک آدمی اس دروازے سے داخل ہوا جبکہ رسول اللہ ﷺ خطبہ دے رہے تھے۔ وہ آپ ﷺ کے سامنے کھڑا ہوا اور آپ ﷺ نے اس کی طرف رخ کیا۔ اس نے کہا، "اے اللہ کے رسول! ہمارا مال برباد ہو گیا ہے اور راستے بند ہو گئے ہیں۔ اللہ سے دعا فرمائیں کہ وہ اسے ہم سے روک دے۔" رسول اللہ ﷺ نے اپنے ہاتھ اٹھائے اور کہا، "اے اللہ! (بارش) ہمارے ارد گرد برسا، ہم پر نہیں۔ اے اللہ! اسے پہاڑوں، ٹیلوں، وادیوں اور درختوں کی جڑوں پر برسا۔" حضرت انس رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا، "بادل چھٹ گئے اور نبی ﷺ سورج میں چلتے ہوئے وہاں سے چلے گئے۔" میں نے حضرت انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے پوچھا، "کیا وہ وہی آدمی تھا؟" انہوں نے کہا، "مجھے نہیں معلوم۔"

Us aadmi ne kaha, "Aye Allah ke Rasool! Mauveshi halaak ho gaye hain aur raste band ho gaye hain. Allah se dua farmaein ki hum par reham kiya jaye." To Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne apne hath uthaye aur kaha, "Aye Allah! Humein barish ata farma! Aye Allah! Humein barish ata farma!" Hazrat Anas Radi Allahu Anhu ne kaha, "Allah ki qasam! Humare aur Saleh (ek pahad) ke darmiyan aasman mein ek bhi badal nahin tha, na kisi ghar ke upar aur na hi kisi basti par. Phir uske peeche se dhaal ki tarah ek badal numudar hua. Jab wo aasman ke darmiyan mein humare upar aaya to wo phail gaya aur phir barish hone lagi. Allah ki qasam! Humne chhe din tak sooraj nahin dekha." Phir agle Juma ko ek aadmi us darwaze se dakhil hua jabke Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam khutba de rahe the. Wo Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke samne khada hua aur Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne uski taraf rukh kiya. Usne kaha, "Aye Allah ke Rasool! Humara maal barbad ho gaya hai aur raste band ho gaye hain. Allah se dua farmaein ki wo use hum se rok de." Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne apne hath uthaye aur kaha, "Aye Allah! (Barish) humare ard gard barsa, hum par nahin. Aye Allah! Use pahadon, teelon, wadion aur pedon ki jaron par barsa." Hazrat Anas Radi Allahu Anhu ne kaha, "Badal chhat gaye aur Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam sooraj mein chalte hue wahan se chale gaye." Maine Hazrat Anas Radi Allahu Anhu se pucha, "Kya wo wohi aadmi tha?" Unhone kaha, "Mujhe nahin maloom."
Abu Hurairah reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "The year of drought is not when there is no rain, but the year of drought is when it rains but the earth does not grow anything."
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ” قحط سالی وہ نہیں کہ بارش نہ ہو، بلکہ اصل قحط سالی تو یہ ہے کہ بارش ہو لیکن زمین (اس کے باوجود) کچھ پیدا نہ کرے “
Hazrat Abu Huraira Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ke Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya "Qahat saali woh nahi ke baarish na ho, balkeh asal qahat saali to yeh hai ke baarish ho lekin zameen (is ke bawajood) kuchh paida na kare"
'Abd Allah said: The Prophet ﷺ used to teach us the Tashahhud (testimony of faith) in prayer just as he used to teach us a Surah from the Quran, and he taught us what he had not taught us just as he taught us the Tashahhud: "O Allah, reconcile our hearts, and reform that which is between us, and guide us to the paths of peace, and deliver us from the darkness into the light, and protect us from what is apparent and what is hidden. O Allah, preserve our hearing, our sight, our spouses, and make us grateful for Your blessings, praising You and accepting them from You, so complete them for us."
عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی کریم ﷺ ہمیں نماز میں تشہد (ایمان کی گواہی) ایسے ہی سکھاتے تھے جیسے قرآن مجید کی کوئی سورت سکھاتے تھے اور جس طرح آپ ﷺ ہمیں تشہد سکھاتے تھے اسی طرح وہ (دعا) بھی سکھاتے تھے جو آپ ﷺ نے ہمیں نہیں سکھائی تھی: «اللّٰھُمّ الف بین قلوبنا واصلح ذات بیننا و اھدنا سبل السلام و نَجّنا من الظلمات الی النور و جنّبنا من الموبقات ما ظھر منھا وما بطن اللّٰھمّ احفظ اسماعنا وابصارنا وازواجنا واشکر اللہمّ علی ما انعمت علینا منھا واسبغ علینا نعمتک »
(سنن ابی داؤد: 982)
Abdullah razi Allahu anhu kehte hain ki Nabi Kareem sallallahu alaihi wasallam hamen namaz mein tashhud (emaan ki gawahi) aise hi sikhate the jaise Quran Majeed ki koi surat sikhate the aur jis tarah Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam hamen tashhud sikhate the usi tarah woh (dua) bhi sikhate the jo Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne hamen nahi sikhayi thi: «Allah humma allif bayna quloobina wa aslih zaat baynana wa ihdinas sibal assalam wa najjina minazzulumati ilan noor wa jannibna minal moobiqat ma zahar minha wa ma batin Allah humma hifz asmaaana wa absaarana wa azwaajana wa ashkar Allah humma ala ma an'amta alayna minha wa asbagh alayna ne'matak» (Sunan Abi Dawood: 982)
`Abdullah narrated that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: “Verily, Satan has an insinuating thought and the angel has an insinuating thought. As for the insinuating thought from Satan, it is prompting evil and rejecting good. As for the insinuating thought from the angel, it is prompting good and believing in truth. So, whoever finds this (good prompting), let him praise Allah, and whoever finds the other (evil prompting), let him seek refuge with Allah from Satan." Then, he recited the Verse: 'Satan threatens you with poverty...'"
عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "بے شک شیطان کا ایک وسوسہ ہوتا ہے اور فرشتے کا بھی ایک وسوسہ ہوتا ہے۔ شیطان کا وسوسہ تو برائی کی ترغیب دینے والا اور نیکی سے روکنے والا ہوتا ہے اور فرشتے کا وسوسہ نیکی کی ترغیب دینے والا اور حق پر یقین دلانے والا ہوتا ہے، سو جسے یہ (نیکی کی ترغیب) ملے وہ اللہ کی حمد کرے اور جسے وہ (برائی کا وسوسہ) ملے وہ شیطان سے اللہ کی پناہ مانگے" پھر آپ نے یہ آیت پڑھی: "شیطان تمہیں محتاجی سے ڈراتا ہے۔۔۔۔"
Abdullah razi Allah anhu bayan karte hain ke Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "Be shak shaitan ka aik waswasa hota hai aur farishte ka bhi aik waswasa hota hai. Shaitan ka waswasa to burai ki targhib dene wala aur neki se rokne wala hota hai aur farishte ka waswasa neki ki targhib dene wala aur haq par yaqeen dilane wala hota hai, so jise ye (neki ki targhib) mile wo Allah ki hamd kare aur jise wo (burai ka waswasa) mile wo shaitan se Allah ki panaah maange" phir aap ne ye ayat padhi: "Shaitan tumhein muhtajee se darata hai..."
Abu Burda narrated that he heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying: "O Allah, I ask You for guidance and right direction. By guidance, I mean Your guidance to the (right) path, and by right direction, I mean the straight direction of an arrow." "And Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) forbade me to use a Qassi or Mithara (i.e. two Arabian arrows), and (to wear) a ring on this finger," and he pointed to his middle finger.
ابو بردہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ انہوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا: "اے اللہ! میں تجھ سے ہدایت اور استقامت کا سوال کرتا ہوں۔ ہدایت سے میری مراد تیری ہدایت کے راستے پر چلنا ہے اور استقامت سے میری مراد تیر کی سیدھی راہ ہے۔" اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھے "قسی" اور "مثرا" (دو قسم کے عربی تیر) کے استعمال سے اور اس انگلی میں انگوٹھی پہننے سے منع فرمایا" اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنی بیچ والی انگلی کی طرف اشارہ فرمایا۔
Abu Burda razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai ki unhon ne Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ko ye farmate huye suna: "Aye Allah! Main tujh se hidayat aur istiqamat ka sawal karta hun. Hidayat se meri murad teri hidayat ke raste par chalna hai aur istiqamat se meri murad teer ki seedhi raah hai." Aur Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne mujhe "qasi" aur "misra" (do qisam ke arabi teer) ke istemal se aur is ungli mein anguthi pehenne se mana farmaya" aur aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne apni beech wali ungli ki taraf ishara farmaya.
