Jabir narrated that: Gabriel came to the Prophet (ﷺ) when the sun had set, and said: "Get up, O Muhammad, and offer the Zuhr prayer." So he got up and offered the Zuhr prayer. Then he came to him when the shadow of everything was the like of it, and said: "Get up and offer the 'Asr prayer." So he got up and offered the 'Asr prayer. Then he came to him when the sun had set, and said: "Get up and offer the Maghrib prayer." So he got up and offered the Maghrib prayer. Then he stayed until the twilight had disappeared. He came to him and said: "Get up and offer the 'Isha' prayer." So he got up and offered it. Then he came to him when dawn had broken with the morning, and said: "Get up, O Muhammad, and pray." So he got up and offered the Fajr prayer. And he came to him the next day when the shadow of everything was the like of it, and said: "Get up and offer the Zuhr prayer." So he got up and offered the Zuhr prayer. Then he came to him when the shadow of everything was twice the like of it, and said: "Get up and offer the 'Asr prayer." So he got up and offered the 'Asr prayer. Then he came to him when the sun had set at once, he did not delay from it, and said: "Get up and offer the Maghrib prayer." So he got up and offered the Maghrib prayer. Then he came to him for the 'Isha' prayer when a third of the night had passed, and said: "Get up and offer the 'Isha' prayer." So he got up and offered the 'Isha' prayer. Then he came to him for the morning prayer when it was very bright, and said: "Get up and offer the Fajr prayer." So he got up and offered the Fajr prayer. He said: "Between these (times) is (the time) for all (prayers)."
جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ سورج غروب ہونے کے بعد حضرت جبریل علیہ السلام نبی کریم ﷺ کے پاس آئے اور کہا: "اے محمد ﷺ اٹھئے اور ظہر کی نماز پڑھیے"۔ تو آپ ﷺ اٹھے اور ظہر کی نماز ادا کی۔ پھر جب ہر چیز کا سایہ اس جیسی ہوگئی تو آپ ﷺ کے پاس آئے اور کہا: "اٹھئے اور عصر کی نماز پڑھیے"۔ تو آپ ﷺ اٹھے اور عصر کی نماز ادا کی۔ پھر جب سورج غروب ہوگیا تو آپ ﷺ کے پاس آئے اور کہا: "اٹھئے اور مغرب کی نماز پڑھیے"۔ تو آپ ﷺ اٹھے اور مغرب کی نماز ادا کی۔ پھر آپ ﷺ انتظار کرتے رہے یہاں تک کہ اندھیرا چھا گیا۔ پھر آپ ﷺ کے پاس آئے اور کہا: "اٹھئے اور عشاء کی نماز پڑھیے"۔ تو آپ ﷺ اٹھے اور عشاء کی نماز ادا کی۔ پھر جب صبح ہوئی اور روشنی پھیل گئی تو آپ ﷺ کے پاس آئے اور کہا: "اے محمد ﷺ اٹھئے اور نماز پڑھیے"۔ تو آپ ﷺ اٹھے اور فجر کی نماز ادا کی۔ پھر وہ اگلے دن جب ہر چیز کا سایہ اس جیسی ہو گیا تو آپ ﷺ کے پاس آئے اور کہا: "اٹھئے اور ظہر کی نماز پڑھیے"۔ تو آپ ﷺ اٹھے اور ظہر کی نماز ادا کی۔ پھر جب ہر چیز کا سایہ دوگنا ہوگیا تو آپ ﷺ کے پاس آئے اور کہا: "اٹھئے اور عصر کی نماز پڑھیے"۔ تو آپ ﷺ اٹھے اور عصر کی نماز ادا کی۔ پھر جب سورج غروب ہونے لگا تو آپ ﷺ کے پاس فوراً آئے، اس میں کوئی تاخیر نہیں کی، اور کہا: "اٹھئے اور مغرب کی نماز پڑھیے"۔ تو آپ ﷺ اٹھے اور مغرب کی نماز ادا کی۔ پھر رات کا تہائی حصہ گزرنے پر عشاء کی نماز کے لیے آپ ﷺ کے پاس آئے اور کہا: "اٹھئے اور عشاء کی نماز پڑھیے"۔ تو آپ ﷺ اٹھے اور عشاء کی نماز ادا کی۔ پھر صبح کی نماز کے لیے جب خوب روشنی ہوگئی تو آپ ﷺ کے پاس آئے اور کہا: "اٹھئے اور فجر کی نماز پڑھیے"۔ تو آپ ﷺ اٹھے اور فجر کی نماز ادا کی۔ جبریل علیہ السلام نے کہا: "ان اوقات کے درمیان (نمازوں کے) تمام اوقات ہیں"۔
Jaber Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki sooraj ghuroob hone ke baad Hazrat Jibrael Alaihissalam Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke pass aaye aur kaha: "Ae Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam uthiye aur Zuhr ki namaz parhiye". Phir jab har cheez ka saya us jaisi ho gayi to aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke pass aaye aur kaha: "Uthiye aur Asr ki namaz parhiye". To aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam uthe aur Asr ki namaz ada ki. Phir jab sooraj ghuroob ho gaya to aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke pass aaye aur kaha: "Uthiye aur Maghrib ki namaz parhiye". To aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam uthe aur Maghrib ki namaz ada ki. Phir aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam intezar karte rahe yahan tak ki andhera chha gaya. Phir aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke pass aaye aur kaha: "Uthiye aur Isha ki namaz parhiye". To aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam uthe aur Isha ki namaz ada ki. Phir jab subah hui aur roshni phail gayi to aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke pass aaye aur kaha: "Ae Muhammad Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam uthiye aur namaz parhiye". To aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam uthe aur Fajr ki namaz ada ki. Phir woh agle din jab har cheez ka saya us jaisi ho gaya to aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke pass aaye aur kaha: "Uthiye aur Zuhr ki namaz parhiye". To aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam uthe aur Zuhr ki namaz ada ki. Phir jab har cheez ka saya dugna ho gaya to aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke pass aaye aur kaha: "Uthiye aur Asr ki namaz parhiye". To aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam uthe aur Asr ki namaz ada ki. Phir jab sooraj ghuroob hone laga to aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke pass foran aaye, is mein koi takheer nahin ki, aur kaha: "Uthiye aur Maghrib ki namaz parhiye". To aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam uthe aur Maghrib ki namaz ada ki. Phir raat ka tehai hissa guzarne par Isha ki namaz ke liye aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke pass aaye aur kaha: "Uthiye aur Isha ki namaz parhiye". To aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam uthe aur Isha ki namaz ada ki. Phir subah ki namaz ke liye jab khoob roshni ho gayi to aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke pass aaye aur kaha: "Uthiye aur Fajr ki namaz parhiye". To aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam uthe aur Fajr ki namaz ada ki. Jibrael Alaihissalam ne kaha: "In auqat ke darmiyan (namazon ke) tamam auqat hain".
Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Amr: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "The time for Zuhr prayer is when the sun has passed its zenith and a man's shadow becomes equal in length to his height, as long as the time for 'Asr prayer has not yet come; the time for 'Asr is as long as the sun has not yet turned yellow; the time for Maghrib is as long as twilight has not yet disappeared; and the time for Fajr is as long as the sun has not yet risen."
عبداللہ بن عمرو رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "ظہر کی نماز کا وقت جب سورج ڈھل جائے اور آدمی کا سایہ اس کی لمبائی کے برابر ہو جائے، جب تک کہ عصر کی نماز کا وقت نہ آجائے، اور عصر کا وقت اس وقت تک ہے جب تک کہ سورج زرد نہ پڑ جائے، اور مغرب کی نماز کا وقت اس وقت تک ہے جب تک کہ چھپکلی غائب نہ ہو جائے، اور فجر کی نماز کا وقت اس وقت تک ہے جب تک کہ سورج طلوع نہ ہو جائے"۔
Abdullah bin Amro riwayat hai ki Rasool Allah ne farmaya: "Zuhr ki namaz ka waqt jab Suraj dhal jaye aur aadmi ka saya uski lambai ke barabar ho jaye, jab tak ki Asr ki namaz ka waqt na aa jaye, aur Asr ka waqt us waqt tak hai jab tak ki Suraj zard na par jaye, aur Maghrib ki namaz ka waqt us waqt tak hai jab tak ki chhipkali ghaib na ho jaye, aur Fajr ki namaz ka waqt us waqt tak hai jab tak ki Suraj taloo na ho jaye".
Narrated Abdullah bin Mas'ud: I asked the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), "Which deed is the best?" He (ﷺ) replied, "Prayer offered on time."
حضرت عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے پوچھا: ”کون سا عمل سب سے بہتر ہے؟“ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”نماز کو وقت پر ادا کرنا۔“
Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki maine Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam se poocha: ”Kaun sa amal sab se behtar hai?“ Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: ”Namaz ko waqt par ada karna.“
Abdullah ibn Mas'ud reported: I asked the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, "Which deed is the best?" The Prophet said, "Prayer on time."
عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے پوچھا: ”کون سا عمل سب سے بہتر ہے؟“ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”وقت پر نماز“۔
Abdulalh bin Masood razi Allah anhu kehte hain keh maine Rasool Allah salAllahu alaihi wasallam se poocha: ”Kaun sa amal sab se behtar hai?“ Aap salAllahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: ”Waqt par namaz“.
Abu Ishaq narrated that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, which of the deeds is most beloved to Allah?' He said, 'Prayer on time.' I said, 'Then what?' He said, 'Then kindness to parents.' I said, 'Then what?' He said, 'Then Jihad.' And if I had asked him more, he would have given me more."
حضرت ابو اسحاق رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا میں نے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اللہ تعالیٰ کو کون سا عمل سب سے زیادہ محبوب ہے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا وقت پر نماز پڑھنا میں نے عرض کیا پھر کون سا آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا پھر والدین کے ساتھ حسن سلوک میں نے عرض کیا پھر کون سا آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا پھر جہاد فی سبیل اللہ اور اگر میں اور زیادہ پوچھتا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم مجھے اور زیادہ بتاتے
Hazrat Abu Ishaq Radi Allah Anhu se riwayat hai ke Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya mein ne arz kiya Ya Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam Allah Taala ko kaun sa amal sab se ziada mahboob hai aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya waqt par namaz parhna mein ne arz kiya phir kaun sa aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya phir waldain ke sath husn suluk mein ne arz kiya phir kaun sa aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya phir jihad fi sabilillah aur agar mein aur ziada pochta to aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam mujhe aur ziada batate
Al-Walid ibn al-Ayyazar said, "I heard Abu Amr ash-Shaybani say, 'The owner of this house told me' - and he pointed with his hand to the house of Abdullah ibn Mas'ud - 'that he asked the Prophet (peace be upon him), "What deeds are most beloved to Allah?" He said, "Prayer on time." He said, "Then what?" He said, "Kindness to parents." He said, "Then what?" He said, "Jihad in the cause of Allah." He said, "He specified these for me, and if I had asked him for more, he would have given me more.'"
"حضرت ولید بن ولید ایازار رحمۃ اللہ علیہ نے بیان فرمایا کہ میں نے حضرت ابو عمر شیبانی رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کو کہتے ہوئے سنا کہ ’’اس گھر کے مالک نے‘‘ اور انہوں نے حضرت عبد اللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ کے گھر کی طرف اشارہ کیا ’’مجھے بتایا کہ انہوں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے دریافت کیا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کو کون سے اعمال زیادہ محبوب ہیں؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ’’اپنے وقت پر نماز ادا کرنا‘‘۔ حضرت عبد اللہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے عرض کیا پھر کون سا عمل؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ’’والدین کے ساتھ حسن سلوک کرنا‘‘۔ حضرت عبد اللہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے عرض کیا پھر کون سا عمل؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ’’اللہ کی راہ میں جہاد کرنا‘‘۔ حضرت عبد اللہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے فرمایا کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے میرے لیے ان کاموں کی وضاحت فرمائی اور اگر میں آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے مزید دریافت کرتا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم مجھے مزید بتاتے‘‘۔"
Hazrat Waleed bin Waleed Ayazaar rehmatullah alaih ne bayan farmaya keh maine Hazrat Abu Umar Shibani rehmatullah alaih ko kehte huye suna keh "Iss ghar ke malik ne" aur unhon ne Hazrat Abdullah bin Masood radiallahu anhu ke ghar ki taraf ishara kiya "mujhe bataya keh unhon ne Nabi Kareem sallallahu alaihi wasallam se daryaft kiya keh Allah ta'ala ko kon se amal ziada mehboob hain? Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "Apne waqt per namaz ada karna". Hazrat Abdullah radiallahu anhu ne arz kiya phir kon sa amal? Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "Walidain ke saath husn e salook karna". Hazrat Abdullah radiallahu anhu ne arz kiya phir kon sa amal? Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "Allah ki raah mein jihad karna". Hazrat Abdullah radiallahu anhu ne farmaya keh Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne mere liye in kaamon ki wazahat farmai aur agar main Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam se mazeed daryaft karta to Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam mujhe mazeed batate".
Abdullah bin Masud narrated that he asked the Prophet (ﷺ), "Which deed is the best?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Prayer on its time."
عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ میں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے پوچھا کہ کون سا عمل سب سے بہتر ہے؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ وقت پر نماز ۔
Abdulha bin Masood razi Allah anhu bayan karte hain ke maine Nabi Kareem sallallahu alaihi wasallam se poocha ke kaun sa amal sab se behtar hai? Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya ke waqt par namaz.
Ibn Mas'ud reported: I asked, "O Messenger of Allah, which deed is the best?" He replied, "Prayer at its earliest time."
حضرت ابن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ میں نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! کون سا عمل سب سے بہتر ہے؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "وقت پر نماز ادا کرنا"۔
Hazrat Ibn Masood raza Allah anhu bayan karte hain ke maine arz kiya: Allah ke Rasool! Kon sa amal sab se behtar hai? Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "Waqt par namaz ada karna".
Abu Hurairah narrated that:
«We complained to Allah's Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, about the heat of Ramadan, but he did not complain about us»
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ «ہم نے نبی ﷺ سے رمضان کے گرم ہونے کی شکایت کی تو آپ ﷺ نے ہماری طرف سے ایسی کوئی شکایت نہیں کی»
Hazrat Abu Hurairah razi Allah anhu bayan karte hain ki hum ne Nabi SAW se Ramzan ke garm hone ki shikayat ki to aap SAW ne hamari taraf se aisi koi shikayat nahi ki
'Amr ibn Maymun said:
Muadh ibn Jabal came to us in Yemen, sent by the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. I heard his takbir for the Fajr prayer, a man with a hoarse voice. I felt love for him and did not leave his side until I buried him in Syria. Then, I looked to see who was the best of the people after him and I came to Ibn Masud and stayed with him until he died. He said to me, the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “What will you do when rulers are appointed over you who pray prayers not in their times?” I said, “What do you command me to do if that happens to me, O Messenger of Allah?” He said, “Pray the prayer in its time and consider your prayer with them to be an additional prayer.”
عمر بن میمون نے کہا: معاذ بن جبل ہمارے پاس یمن میں آئے، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے انہیں بھیجا تھا۔ میں نے ان کی فجر کی نماز کے لیے تکبیر سنی، وہ بھری ہوئی آواز والے آدمی تھے۔ مجھے ان سے محبت ہو گئی اور میں ان کا ساتھ نہیں چھوڑا یہاں تک کہ میں نے انہیں شام میں دفن کر دیا۔ پھر، میں نے یہ دیکھنے کے لیے کہ ان کے بعد لوگوں میں سے بہترین کون ہے اور میں ابن مسعود کے پاس آیا اور ان کے ساتھ ہی رہا یہاں تک کہ وہ فوت ہو گئے۔ انہوں نے مجھ سے کہا، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "تم کیا کرو گے جب تم پر ایسے حکمران مقرر کیے جائیں گے جو اپنے وقتوں پر نمازیں ادا نہیں کرتے؟" میں نے کہا، "اگر میرے ساتھ ایسا ہو جائے تو آپ مجھے کیا کرنے کا حکم دیتے ہیں، اللہ کے رسول؟" انہوں نے فرمایا: "اپنے وقت پر نماز پڑھو اور ان کے ساتھ اپنی نماز کو نفل نماز سمجھو۔"
Umar bin Maimoon ne kaha: Muaaz bin Jabal humare pass Yemen mein aye, Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne unhein bheja tha. Maine unki fajr ki namaz ke liye takbeer suni, woh bhari hui aawaz wale aadmi the. Mujhe unse muhabbat ho gayi aur mein unka saath nahin chhoda yahan tak ke maine unhein Sham mein dafan kar diya. Phir, maine yeh dekhne ke liye ke unke baad logon mein se behtarin kaun hai aur mein Ibn Masood ke pass aaya aur unke saath hi raha yahan tak ke woh foot ho gaye. Unhon ne mujhse kaha, Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "Tum kya karoge jab tum par aise hukmaran muqarrar kiye jayenge jo apne waqton par namazen ada nahin karte?" Maine kaha, "Agar mere saath aisa ho jaye to aap mujhe kya karne ka hukum dete hain, Allah ke Rasool?" Unhon ne farmaya: "Apne waqt par namaz padho aur unke saath apni namaz ko nafl namaz samjho."
Abu Dharr narrated: The Prophet ﷺ said, "What about you, when you will be among people who delay the prayer from its time." Abu Dharr said, "What should I do?" He ﷺ said, "Pray the prayer on its time, so if you find them praying, then pray with them, and do not say: I have already prayed so I will not pray."
حضرت ابوذر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”تمہارا کیا حال ہوگا جب تم ایسی قوم میں ہو گے جو نماز کو اس کے وقت سے مؤخر کرے گی؟“ حضرت ابوذر رضی اللہ عنہ نے عرض کیا کہ ”میں کیا کروں؟“ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ ”تم نماز کو اس کے وقت پر پڑھو۔ پھر اگر تم انہیں نماز پڑھتے ہوئے پاؤ تو ان کے ساتھ نماز پڑھو اور یہ مت کہنا کہ میں تو پہلے پڑھ چکا ہوں اب نہیں پڑھوں گا۔“
Hazrat Abuzar RA se riwayat hai ke Nabi Kareem SAW ne farmaya: "Tumhara kya haal hoga jab tum aisi qaum mein ho ge jo namaz ko iske waqt se moakhir kare gi?" Hazrat Abuzar RA ne arz kiya ke "Main kya karun?" Aap SAW ne farmaya ke "Tum namaz ko iske waqt par parho. Phir agar tum unhein namaz parhte huye pao to unke sath namaz parho aur yeh mat kehna ke main to pehle parh chuka hun ab nahin parhun ga."
Abu Huraira narrated that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Whoever perfects a bowing of prayer has perfected the prayer."
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "جس نے رکوع کو اچھی طرح ادا کیا اس نے نماز کو اچھی طرح ادا کیا"
Hazrat Abu Hurairah Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Jis ne ruku ko acchi tarah ada kiya us ne namaz ko acchi tarah ada kiya"
Abu Hurairah narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever prays two rak'ahs before the Fajr prayer after the sun rises, he will not miss the prayer, and whoever prays two rak'ahs before the Asr prayer before the sun sets, he will not miss the prayer."
ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”جو شخص نمازِ فجر کے بعد سورج نکلنے کے بعد دو رکعتیں پڑھ لے تو وہ نماز سے نہیں رہے گا اور جو شخص نمازِ عصر سے پہلے سورج غروب ہونے سے پہلے دو رکعتیں پڑھ لے تو وہ نماز سے نہیں رہے گا۔“
Abu Hurairah razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai keh Nabi Kareem sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "Jo shakhs namaz-e-fajr ke baad sooraj nikalne se pehle do raka'tain parh le to woh namaz se nahi rahe ga aur jo shakhs namaz-e-asar se pehle sooraj ghurub hone se pehle do raka'tain parh le to woh namaz se nahi rahe ga."
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Whoever catches the bowing in prayer has caught the entire prayer."
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: "جس نے رکوع کو پا لیا اس نے پوری نماز کو پا لیا"۔

Abu Huraira narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whoever catches up with a Rak'ah of prayer, has caught up with it, so let him complete what remains."
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ’’جس نے نماز کی ایک رکعت پالی ہے اس نے وہ نماز پالی ہے، تو اب وہ باقی نماز پوری کرے‘‘۔

Abu Sa'eed al-Khudri said:
A woman came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: "O Messenger of Allah, my husband, Safwan bin Al-Muattal, beats me when I pray, makes me break my fast when I fast, and he does not pray Fajr until the sun has risen." Safwan was present there, so the Prophet (ﷺ) asked him about what she had said. He said: "O Messenger of Allah, as for her saying, 'He beats me when I pray,' she recites two Surahs and I have forbidden her to do so." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "If it were just one Surah, it would have been enough for the people." He said: "And as for her saying, 'He makes me break my fast when I fast,' she goes out and fasts, and I am a young man and cannot control myself." The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said that day, "A woman should not fast (voluntarily) except with her husband's permission." He said: "And as for her saying, 'He does not pray until the sun has risen,' we are people of a household who do not wake up until the sun has risen." He (ﷺ) said, "When you wake up, then pray."
ابو سعید الخدری رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک عورت نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آئی اور کہنے لگی: اللہ کے رسول! میرا شوہر صفوان بن المعطل مجھے نماز پڑھتے ہوئے مارتا ہے، مجھے روزے کی حالت میں افطار کروا دیتا ہے اور سورج نکلنے تک فجر کی نماز نہیں پڑھتا۔" صفوان وہیں موجود تھا تو نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس سے عورت کی بات کے بارے میں پوچھا۔ اس نے کہا: "اللہ کے رسول! اس کی اس بات کے بارے میں کہ 'وہ مجھے نماز پڑھتے ہوئے مارتا ہے' تو وہ دو سورتیں پڑھتی ہے اور میں نے اسے ایسا کرنے سے منع کیا ہے۔" نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "اگر وہ صرف ایک سورت ہی پڑھتی تو لوگوں کے لیے کافی تھا۔" اس نے کہا: "اور اس کی اس بات کے بارے میں کہ 'وہ مجھے روزے کی حالت میں افطار کروا دیتا ہے' تو وہ باہر جاتی ہے اور روزہ رکھ لیتی ہے اور میں ایک جوان آدمی ہوں اور اپنے آپ کو قابو میں نہیں رکھ سکتا۔" اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس دن فرمایا: "عورت کو اپنے شوہر کی اجازت کے بغیر (نفل) روزہ نہیں رکھنا چاہیے۔" اس نے کہا: "اور اس کی اس بات کے بارے میں کہ 'وہ سورج نکلنے تک نماز نہیں پڑھتا' تو ہم ایسے گھر والے ہیں جو سورج نکلنے تک نہیں جاگتے۔" آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "جب تم جاگو تو نماز پڑھ لو۔"
Abu Saeed alkhadri razi Allah anhu kahte hain ke aik aurat Nabi Kareem sallallahu alaihi wasallam ke paas aai aur kahne lagi: Allah ke Rasool! Mera shohar Safwan bin almautal mujhe namaz parhte hue marta hai, mujhe roze ki halat mein iftar karwa deta hai aur sooraj nikalne tak fajar ki namaz nahin parhta." Safwan wahin maujood tha to Nabi Kareem sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne us se aurat ki baat ke bare mein poochha. Us ne kaha: "Allah ke Rasool! Is ki is baat ke bare mein ke 'woh mujhe namaz parhte hue marta hai' to woh do surat parhti hai aur maine use aisa karne se mana kiya hai." Nabi Kareem sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "Agar woh sirf ek surat hi parhti to logon ke liye kafi tha." Us ne kaha: "Aur is ki is baat ke bare mein ke 'woh mujhe roze ki halat mein iftar karwa deta hai' to woh bahar jati hai aur roza rakh leti hai aur mein ek jawan aadmi hoon aur apne aap ko qaboo mein nahin rakh sakta." Allah ke Rasool sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne us din farmaya: "Aurat ko apne shohar ki ijazat ke baghair (nafl) roza nahin rakhna chahiye." Us ne kaha: "Aur is ki is baat ke bare mein ke 'woh sooraj nikalne tak namaz nahin parhta' to hum aise ghar wale hain jo sooraj nikalne tak nahin jagte." Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "Jab tum jago to namaz parh lo."
Rafi' ibn Khadij narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Seek sustenance early in the morning, for seeking sustenance early in the morning is greater in reward, or its reward is greater."
حضرت رَافِع بن خَدِیج رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا ”صبح سویرے رزق تلاش کرو کہ صبح سویرے رزق کی تلاش میں برکت ہے یا فرمایا اس میں برکت زیادہ ہے۔“
Hazrat Rafi bin Khadij Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya Subah sawere rizq talaash karo ki subah sawere rizq ki talaash mein barkat hai ya farmaya is mein barkat zyada hai
Rafi' bin Khadij reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Travel at dawn for it brings the greatest reward.”
حضرت رَافِع بن خَدِیج رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا : "صبح کے وقت سفر کرو کیونکہ اس میں زیادہ برکت ہے"۔
Hazrat Rafi bin Khadij Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai, Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya : "Subah ke waqt safar karo kyunki is mein zyada barkat hai".
Rafi' bin Khadij narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Pray the Fajr prayer when it is clear because it is greater in reward," or he said: "It is greater for your reward."
حضرت رَافِع بن خَدِیج رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”صبح کی نماز روشن ہونے پر پڑھا کرو کیونکہ اس میں ثواب زیادہ ہے“ یا آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ: ”یہ تمہارے لیے ثواب کے اعتبار سے زیادہ ہے“۔
Hazrat Rafi bin Khadij Razi Allah Anhu se riwayat hai keh Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Subah ki namaz roshan hone par parha karo kyunki is mein sawab zyada hai" ya Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya keh: "Yeh tumhare liye sawab ke aitbaar se zyada hai".
Sulaiman bin Buraidah narrated from his father: A man came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and asked him about the time of prayer. The Prophet said, "Pray with us these two times." When the sun had passed its zenith, he prayed Zuhr. Then he prayed Asr while the sun was still high, bright white, and radiant. He prayed Maghrib when the sun had set, and he prayed Isha when the red glow after sunset had faded. He prayed Fajr at dawn. The next day, he instructed Bilal to make the call to Zuhr prayer later, when the heat had abated. He instructed him to make the call to Asr prayer while the sun was still shining, delaying it beyond the time of the first day. He instructed him to make the call to Maghrib prayer before the red glow after sunset had faded. He instructed him to make the call to Isha prayer after a third of the night had passed. He instructed him to make the call to Fajr prayer and shortened it. Then he said, "Where is the one who asked about the time of prayer?" The man said, "Here I am, O Messenger of Allah." The Prophet said, "The time for your prayers is between what you have seen."
سلیمان بن بُریدہ اپنے والد سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ ایک آدمی نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آیا اور آپ سے نماز کے اوقات کے بارے میں پوچھا۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ’’تم ان دو وقتوں میں ہمارے ساتھ نماز پڑھو۔‘‘ پھر جب سورج ڈھل گیا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ظہر کی نماز پڑھی۔ پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے عصر کی نماز اس وقت پڑھی جب سورج ابھی بلند، چمکتا ہوا اور روشن تھا۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مغرب کی نماز اس وقت پڑھی جب سورج غروب ہوگیا، اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے عشاء کی نماز اس وقت پڑھی جب سورج غروب ہونے کے بعد کی سرخی ختم ہوگئی تھی۔ اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فجر کی نماز صبح سوہانے پڑھی۔ پھر اگلے دن آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے بلال رضی اللہ عنہ کو حکم دیا کہ ظہر کی نماز کی اذان دیر سے دیں، جب گرمی کم ہوجائے۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے انہیں عصر کی نماز کی اذان اس وقت دینے کا حکم دیا جب سورج ابھی چمک رہا ہو، پہلے دن کے وقت سے مؤخر کرکے۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے انہیں مغرب کی نماز کی اذان اس سے پہلے دینے کا حکم دیا جب سورج غروب ہونے کے بعد کی سرخی ختم ہوجائے۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے انہیں عشاء کی نماز کی اذان رات کا تہائی حصہ گزر جانے کے بعد دینے کا حکم دیا۔ اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فجر کی نماز کی اذان دینے اور اسے مختصر کرنے کا حکم دیا۔ پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ’’وہ کہاں ہے جس نے نماز کے اوقات کے بارے میں پوچھا تھا؟‘‘ وہ شخص کہنے لگا: ’’میں حاضر ہوں، اللہ کے رسول!‘‘ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ’’تمہاری نمازوں کا وقت ان اوقات کے درمیان ہے جو تم نے دیکھا ہے۔‘‘

Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: ''Tum in do waqton mein hamare sath namaz parho.'' Phir jab sooraj dhal gaya to aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne Zuhr ki namaz parhi. Phir aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne Asr ki namaz us waqt parhi jab sooraj abhi buland, chamakta hua aur roshan tha. Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne Maghrib ki namaz us waqt parhi jab sooraj ghurub hogaya, aur aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne Isha ki namaz us waqt parhi jab sooraj ghurub hone ke baad ki surkhi khatam hogayi thi. Aur aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne Fajr ki namaz subah sawere parhi. Phir agle din aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne Bilal radi allahu anhu ko hukm diya ki Zuhr ki namaz ki azan der se dein, jab garmi kam hojae. Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne unhen Asr ki namaz ki azan us waqt dene ka hukm diya jab sooraj abhi chamak raha ho, pehle din ke waqt se mukhar karke. Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne unhen Maghrib ki namaz ki azan is se pehle dene ka hukm diya jab sooraj ghurub hone ke baad ki surkhi khatam hojae. Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne unhen Isha ki namaz ki azan raat ka teesra hissa guzar jane ke baad dene ka hukm diya. Aur aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne Fajr ki namaz ki azan dene aur ise mukhtasar karne ka hukm diya. Phir aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: ''Woh kahan hai jisne namaz ke auqat ke bare mein poocha tha?'' Woh shakhs kehne laga: ''Main hazir hun, Allah ke Rasool!'' Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: ''Tumhari namaazon ka waqt in auqat ke darmiyan hai jo tumne dekha hai.''
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) led us in the morning prayer and recited a long Surah. He then led us in the next morning prayer and recited a shorter Surah. He then said, “Which of you seeks to ask about the time of the morning prayer? It is between my two prayers yesterday and today.”
ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ہمیں صبح کی نماز پڑھائی اور ایک لمبی سورت پڑھی۔ پھر آپ ﷺ نے اگلی صبح ہمیں نماز پڑھائی تو ایک چھوٹی سورت پڑھی۔ پھر آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: "تم میں سے کون صبح کی نماز کے وقت کے بارے میں پوچھنا چاہتا ہے؟ یہ میرے کل اور آج کی دو نمازوں کے درمیان ہے۔"
Abu Huraira razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah ne hamein subah ki namaz parhayi aur ek lambi surat parhayi. Phir Aap ne agli subah hamein namaz parhayi to ek chhoti surat parhayi. Phir Aap ne farmaya: "Tum mein se kon subah ki namaz ke waqt ke bare mein puchna chahta hai? Yeh mere kal aur aaj ki do namazon ke darmiyaan hai."
Usaid ibn Zaid reported that Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz was sitting on the pulpit and he delayed the prayer a little. Urwah ibn az-Zubair said, "Don't you know that Gabriel informed Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, of the time of prayer?” Umar said, “I know what you are saying, O Urwah.” Urwah said, “I heard Bashir ibn Abi Masud say, I heard Abu Masud al-Ansari say, I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say, ‘Gabriel came down and showed me the times of prayer, so I prayed with him, then I prayed with him, then I prayed with him, then I prayed with him, then I prayed with him.’” He counted on his fingers five prayers. “And I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, praying the noon prayer when the sun passed its zenith, and sometimes he delayed it when the heat was intense. And I saw him praying the afternoon prayer while the sun was still high in the sky and white before any yellowness entered it, so a man would finish the prayer and arrive in Dhu al-Hulayfah before sunset. And he would pray the sunset prayer when the sun set, and he would pray the evening prayer when the horizon darkened. And sometimes he would delay it until the people gathered. And he prayed the morning prayer with the white thread of dawn, then he prayed it again and shortened it. Then his prayer after that was at the time of the white thread until he died, peace and blessings be upon him, he did not return to shortening it.’”
’’حضرت عُسَید بن زید رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ حضرت عمر بن عبدالعزیز رضی اللہ عنہ منبر پر بیٹھے ہوئے تھے اور آپ نے نماز میں تھوڑی دیر کردی، تو عروہ بن زبیر رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: کیا تم نہیں جانتے کہ حضرت جبریل علیہ السلام نے حضرت محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو نمازوں کے اوقات کی خبر دی تھی؟ حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: میں جانتا ہوں جو تم کہہ رہے ہو، اے عروہ! حضرت عروہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: میں نے حضرت بشیر بن ابی مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا، انہوں نے حضرت ابو مسعود انصاری رضی اللہ عنہ سے سنا، انہوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنا، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم فرماتے تھے کہ ’’جبریل علیہ السلام میرے پاس آئے اور انہوں نے مجھے نمازوں کے اوقات بتائے، چنانچہ میں نے ان کے ساتھ نماز ادا کی پھر ان کے ساتھ نماز ادا کی، پھر ان کے ساتھ نماز ادا کی، پھر ان کے ساتھ نماز ادا کی، پھر ان کے ساتھ نماز ادا کی۔‘‘ (راوی نے اپنی انگلیوں پر پانچ نمازیں گنیں) ’’اور میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو دیکھا کہ آپ ظہر کی نماز اس وقت ادا کرتے جب سورج ڈھل جاتا اور کبھی کبھی آپ شدید گرمی کی وجہ سے اس میں دیر فرما دیتے۔ اور میں نے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو دیکھا کہ آپ عصر کی نماز اس وقت ادا کرتے جب سورج ابھی بلند اور چمکتا دمکتا ہوتا اور اس میں پیلا پن نہ آیا ہوتا، یہاں تک کہ آدمی نماز پڑھ کر سورج غروب ہونے سے پہلے پہلے ذوالحلیفہ پہنچ جاتا۔ اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم مغرب کی نماز سورج غروب ہوتے ہی ادا کرتے اور عشاء کی نماز اس وقت ادا کرتے جب اندھیرا چھا جاتا اور کبھی کبھی لوگوں کے جمع ہونے تک اس میں دیر فرما دیتے۔ اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم فجر کی نماز صبح کے وقت ادا فرماتے پھر دوسری مرتبہ اسے قصر کرکے ادا فرماتے، پھر اس کے بعد آپ کی نماز سفیدی چھٹنے تک رہی یہاں تک کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا انتقال ہوگیا، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اسے قصر کرنا دوبارہ شروع نہیں فرمایا۔‘‘

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) led us in prayer, and he prolonged it. He then led us in prayer the next day, and he shortened it. He then said, "Where is the one who asked about the time of the morning prayer? It is between my prayers of yesterday and today."
ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہم کو نماز پڑھائی تو اسے لمبی کر دی، پھر اگلے دن نماز پڑھائی تو اسے ہلکی کر دی، پھر فرمایا: کہاں ہے وہ شخص جس نے صبح کی نماز کے وقت کے بارے میں پوچھا تھا؟ میری کل اور آج کی نماز کے درمیان (یعنی ان دونوں کے اوقات معتدل ہیں)۔
Abu Hurairah razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai keh Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne hum ko namaz parhai to use lambi kar di, phir agle din namaz parhai to use halki kar di, phir farmaya: kahan hai woh shakhs jis ne subah ki namaz ke waqt ke bare mein poocha tha? meri kal aur aaj ki namaz ke darmiyaan (yani in donon ke auqat motadil hain).
Nahik bin Yuraim narrated that: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) led us in the Fajr prayer and he shortened it. I turned to Ibn Umar and said, "What kind of prayer is this?" He said, "This is how we used to pray with Allah's Messenger (ﷺ), Abu Bakr and Umar, may Allah be pleased with them." He added, "But when Umar was killed, Uthman, may Allah be pleased with him, shortened the prayer for journey (while residing in the city)."
نہیک بن یریم بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہمیں فجر کی نماز پڑھائی اور اسے مختصر کیا۔ میں نے ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کی طرف متوجہ ہو کر کہا: یہ کیسی نماز ہے؟ انہوں نے کہا: ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم، ابو بکر رضی اللہ عنہ اور عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کے ساتھ اسی طرح نماز پڑھا کرتے تھے۔ انہوں نے مزید کہا: لیکن جب عمر رضی اللہ عنہ شہید ہو گئے تو عثمان رضی اللہ عنہ نے (شہر میں مقیم رہتے ہوئے) سفر کی نماز کو مختصر کر دیا۔
Naheek bin Yareem bayan karte hain ke Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne hamen Fajr ki namaz parhayi aur use mukhtasar kiya. Maine Ibn Umar radi allahu anhu ki taraf mutawajjeh ho kar kaha: yeh कैसी namaz hai? Unhon ne kaha: hum Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam, Abu Bakr radi allahu anhu aur Umar radi allahu anhu ke sath isi tarah namaz parha karte the. Unhon ne mazid kaha: lekin jab Umar radi allahu anhu shaheed ho gaye to Usman radi allahu anhu ne (shehar mein muqeem rehte huye) safar ki namaz ko mukhtasar kar diya.
Anas bin Malik narrated:
The Prophet ﷺ and Zayd bin Thabit were once given a pre-dawn meal. When the Prophet ﷺ finished his meal, he got up for the Fajr prayer. We asked Anas bin Malik, "How long was the gap between his finishing the meal and starting the prayer?" He replied, "The time it takes a man to recite fifty verses [of the Quran]."
حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ اور حضرت زید بن ثابت رضی اللہ عنہ کو سحری پیش کی گئی۔ جب نبی کریم ﷺ نے اپنا کھانا ختم کیا تو آپ نماز فجر کے لیے کھڑے ہو گئے۔ ہم نے حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے پوچھا، "ان کے کھانا ختم کرنے اور نماز شروع کرنے میں کتنا وقت تھا؟" انہوں نے جواب دیا، "اتنا وقت جتنا کہ ایک آدمی پچاس آیات [قرآن کی] پڑھ لے۔"
Hazrat Anas bin Malik Radi Allaho Anho se riwayat hai keh aik martaba Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam aur Hazrat Zaid bin Sabit Radi Allaho Anho ko sehri pesh ki gae. Jab Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne apna khana khatam kia to aap namaz fajr ke liye kharay ho gaye. Hum ne Hazrat Anas bin Malik Radi Allaho Anho se poocha, "In ke khana khatam karne aur namaz shuru karne mein kitna waqt tha?" Unhon ne jawab dia, "Itna waqt jitna keh aik aadmi pachas ayat [Quran ki] parh le."
'Aisha said: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would pray the morning prayer, and the women would leave, wrapped in their garments, and they could not be recognized because of the darkness."
حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا بیان کرتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نمازِ فجر ادا فرماتے تو عورتیں اپنی چادروں میں لپٹی ہوئی واپس ہوتیں اور اندھیرے کی وجہ سے پہچانی نہیں جاتیں۔
Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allahu Anha bayan karti hain ke Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam namaz e fajr ada farmate to aurtain apni chaddaron mein lipti hui wapas hoti thin aur andhere ki wajah se pehchani nahin jati thin.
Aishah said: “The believing women used to pray with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, while wrapped in their cloaks at Fajr prayer, then they would return to their homes and could not be recognized because of the darkness.”
حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ ”مومن عورتیں نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ فجر کی نماز میں اپنے اوپر چادروں کو لپیٹ کر پڑھتی تھیں پھر اپنے گھروں کو واپس چلی جاتیں اور اندھیرے کی وجہ سے پہچانی نہیں جاتیں۔“
Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allahu Anha kehti hain keh Mo'mina aurtain Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke sath Fajar ki namaz mein apne upar chaddaron ko lapet kar parhti thin phir apne gharon ko wapas chali jati thin aur andhere ki wajah se pehchani nahin jati.
'Aisha said:
"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would pray the Fajr prayer, then the believing women would go back (to their homes) covered in their cloaks, and they could not be recognized because of the darkness."
حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نمازِ فجر پڑھتے پھر (گھروں کو واپس ہو جانے والی) مومن عورتیں اپنے اوپر چادروں کو لپیٹے ہوئے ہوتیں اور تاریکی کے سبب پہچانی نہیں جاتیں۔
Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allahu Anha kehti hain keh Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam namaz e fajr parhte phir gharon ko wapas ho jane wali momin aurten apne upar chadaron ko lapete hue hoti aur tareeki ke sabab pehchani nahin jati.
Aisha reported: The Prophet (ﷺ) would pray the morning prayer and the women would return home wrapped in their clothes so that one could not recognize them because of darkness.
حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا بیان کرتی ہیں کہ نبی ﷺ نمازِ فجر پڑھتے تو عورتیں اپنے اوپر کپڑے لپیٹ کر واپس ہوتیں اور اندھیرے کی وجہ سے پہچانی نہیں جاتیں۔
Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allahu Anha bayan karti hain ke Nabi SAW namaz e fajr parhte to aurtain apne upar kapre lapet kar wapas hoti thin aur andhere ki waja se pehchani nahin jatin.
Abu al-Minhal said:
My father and I went to visit Abu Barzah. My father asked him, “Tell us, how did the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) pray the obligatory prayers?” He said, “He would pray Zuhr, which you call the first prayer, when the sun had passed its zenith. He would pray `Asr and then one of us would return to his home at the farthest end of Madinah.” He said, “I have forgotten what he said about Maghrib.” He said, “He liked to delay ‘Isha’, which you call ‘Atamah, and he disliked sleeping before it and talking after it. He would leave after the Fajr prayer when a man could recognize the person sitting next to him, and he would recite between sixty and one hundred verses (in the prayer).
"ابو المِنہال نے بیان کیا کہ میں اور میرے والد ابو برزہ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے۔ میرے والد نے ان سے پوچھا: آپ ہمیں بتائیے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ فرض نمازیں کس طرح ادا فرماتے تھے؟ انہوں نے کہا: آپ ظہر کی نماز، جسے تم پہلی نماز کہتے ہو، اس وقت پڑھتے تھے جب سورج ڈھل جاتا تھا۔ اور آپ عصر کی نماز پڑھتے تھے، پھر ہم میں سے کوئی شخص مدینہ کے آخری سرے پر اپنے گھر واپس جاتا۔" وہ کہنے لگے کہ "مجھے یاد نہیں کہ انہوں نے مغرب کے بارے میں کیا کہا۔" انہوں نے کہا: "آپ عشاء کی نماز، جسے تم عشاء کہتے ہو، مؤخر کرنا پسند فرماتے تھے، اور اس سے پہلے سونا اور اس کے بعد باتیں کرنا ناپسند فرماتے تھے۔" وہ فجر کی نماز کے بعد اس وقت تک (مسجد میں) بیٹھے رہتے جب تک کہ ایک شخص اپنے پاس بیٹھے ہوئے دوسرے شخص کو پہچان نہ لے اور آپ نماز میں ساٹھ سے سو تک آیتیں پڑھتے تھے۔"
Abu Al-Minhal ne bayan kiya keh main aur mere walid Abu Burza ki khidmat mein hazir hue. Mere walid ne un se pucha: Aap humein bataiye keh Rasul Allah ﷺ farz namazain kis tarah ada farmate the? Unhon ne kaha: Aap Zuhr ki namaz, jise tum pehli namaz kehte ho, us waqt parhte the jab Suraj dhal jata tha. Aur aap Asr ki namaz parhte the, phir hum mein se koi shakhs Madinah ke aakhri sirey par apne ghar wapas jata. Woh kehne lage keh "Mujhe yaad nahi keh unhon ne Maghrib ke bare mein kya kaha." Unhon ne kaha: "Aap Isha ki namaz, jise tum Isha kehte ho, mukhir karna pasand farmate the, aur is se pehle sona aur is ke baad baatain karna napasand farmate the." Woh Fajr ki namaz ke baad us waqt tak (masjid mein) baithe rehte jab tak keh ek shakhs apne paas baithe hue dusre shakhs ko pehchan na le aur aap namaz mein saath se sau tak aayatain parhte the.
Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The heat (experienced by people) is from the heat of Hell-fire, so cool yourselves with prayer."
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”تمہاری یہ گرمی جہنم کی گرمی سے ہے، لہٰذا نماز سے ٹھنڈک حاصل کرو۔“
Hazrat Abu Hurairah razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai keh Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: Tumhari yeh garmi jahannum ki garmi se hai, lihaza namaz se thandak hasil karo.
Al-Mughira ibn Shu'ba reported: We prayed the noon prayer with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, in al-Hajra. He said to us, “**Find coolness in prayer, for the intense heat is from the blowing of Hellfire.**”
مغيرہ بن شعبہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ ہم نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ حجرا میں ظہر کی نماز پڑھی۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہم سے فرمایا: "**نماز میں ٹھنڈک تلاش کرو کیونکہ شدید گرمی جہنم کے شعلے کی لپٹ سے ہے۔**"
Mugheerah bin Shoba RA ne bayan kya ke hum ne Rasool Allah SAW ke saath Hijr mein Zuhar ki namaz parhi Aap SAW ne hum se farmaya Namaz mein thandak talash karo kyunki shadid garmi jahannum ke sholay ki lapat se hai
Abu Huraira reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "When the heat intensifies, then find coolness in prayer for the intensity of the heat is from the blowing flames of Hellfire."
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "جب گرمی تیز ہو جائے تو نماز میں ٹھنڈک تلاش کرو کیونکہ گرمی کی شدت جہنم کی بھڑکتی ہوئی آگ سے ہے۔"
Hazrat Abu Hurairah razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai keh Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "Jab garmi tez ho jaye to namaz mein thandak talaash karo kyunki garmi ki shiddat jahannum ki bhadakti hui aag se hai."
Abu Huraira reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "When the heat intensifies, then seek coolness from the prayer, for the intensity of the heat is from the blowing of the Hellfire."
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "جب گرمی شدید ہو جائے تو نماز میں ٹھنڈک تلاش کرو کیونکہ گرمی کی شدت جہنم کے شعلے سے ہے"۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai keh Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Jab garmi shadid ho jaye to namaz mein thandak talash karo kyunki garmi ki shiddat jahannum ke shole se hai".
Mughira ibn Shu'ba reported: We were with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, in al-Hajjarah, and he said, "Pray in the intense heat, for the most intense heat is from the blowing of Hellfire."
مغيرہ بن شعبہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ حجہ میں تھے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ تم لوگ گرمی کی شدت میں نماز پڑھا کرو کیونکہ جہنم کی تپش گرمی کی شدت ہی سے ہوتی ہے
Mughirah bin Shubah RA se riwayat hai ki hum Rasool Allah SAW ke sath Hajj mein thay to aap SAW ne farmaya ki tum log garmi ki shiddat mein namaz parha karo kyunki jahannum ki tapish garmi ki shiddat hi se hoti hai
Abu al-Hasan said: I heard Zayd ibn Wahb say that he heard Abu Dharr say: We were with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, on a journey, and the mu'adhdhin wanted to call the prayer for midday. The Prophet said to him, "Wait," Then he wanted to call the prayer and he said to him, "Wait," two or three times, until we saw the shade of the hills. He said, "The intensity of the heat is from the heat of Hell, so when the heat intensifies, then cool yourselves with prayer."
ابو الحسن کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے زید بن وہب سے سنا، انہوں نے ابوذر سے سنا کہا ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ ایک سفر میں تھے، مؤذن ظہر کی نماز کے لیے اذان کہنا چاہتا تھا تو نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اسے فرمایا "ٹھرو"۔ پھر وہ اذان کہنا چاہتا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس سے فرمایا "ٹھرو"، دو تین بار ایسا ہی ہوا یہاں تک کہ ہم نے پہاڑوں کا سایہ دیکھا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا "گرمی کی شدت جہنم کی گرمی ہے تو جب گرمی تیز ہو جائے تو نماز سے اپنے آپ کو ٹھنڈا کرو"۔
Abu Alhassan kehte hain keh maine Zaid bin Wahab se suna, unhon ne Abuzar se suna kaha hum Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ke sath aik safar mein the, Moazzan Zuhar ki namaz ke liye Azaan kehna chahta tha to Nabi Kareem sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne use farmaya "Thero". Phir woh Azaan kehna chahta to aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne us se farmaya "Thero", do teen baar aisa hi hua yahan tak ke hum ne paharon ka saya dekha to aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya "garmi ki shiddat jahanum ki garmi hai to jab garmi tez ho jaye to namaz se apne aap ko thanda karo".
Abu Huraira reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "When it is hot, then cool yourselves with prayer, for the intensity of the heat is from the blowing of Hellfire." It was mentioned, "That the Fire complained to its Lord, so He permitted it two breaths, a breath in the winter and a breath in the summer."
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "جب گرمی ہو تو نماز کے ساتھ خود کو ٹھنڈا کرو کیونکہ گرمی کی شدت جہنم کے شعلے کی وجہ سے ہوتی ہے۔" یہ ذکر کیا گیا، "کہ آگ نے اپنے رب سے شکایت کی، تو اس نے اسے دو سانسیں لینے کی اجازت دی، ایک سانس سردیوں میں اور ایک سانس گرمیوں میں۔"
Hazrat Abu Huraira Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Jab garmi ho to namaz ke sath khud ko thanda karo kyunki garmi ki shiddat jahannum ke sholay ki wajah se hoti hai." Yeh zikar kiya gaya, "Ke aag ne apne Rab se shikayat ki, to usne use do sansein lene ki ijazat di, ek saans sardiyon mein aur ek saans garmiyon mein."
Yahya related to me from his father: "We used to pray with the Prophet (ﷺ) on Friday, and the wall did not have any shade to protect from the sun."
یحییٰ نے اپنے والد سے روایت کی : "ہم نبی کریم ﷺ کے ساتھ جمعہ کی نماز ادا کرتے تھے اور دیوار پر دھوپ سے بچنے کے لیے کوئی سایہ نہیں تھا۔"
Yahya ne apne walid se riwayat ki: "Hum Nabi Kareem SAW ke saath Jumma ki namaz ada karte thay aur deewar par dhoop se bachne ke liye koi saya nahi tha."
Ya'la ibn al-Harith al-Muharibi said: I heard Iyas ibn Salama ibn al-Akwa' narrating from his father who said: "We used to pray with the Prophet ﷺ when the sun declined, then we would return seeking shade."
یعلیٰ بن الحارث المحاربی کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے ایاس بن سلامہ بن الاکوع سے سنا، وہ اپنے والد سے روایت کر رہے تھے، وہ کہتے تھے کہ: ہم نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ سورج ڈھلنے پر نماز پڑھتے تھے، پھر ہم سائے ڈھونڈتے ہوئے واپس ہوتے تھے۔
Yala bin al-Harith al-Muharabi kehte hain ke maine Ayas bin Salama bin al-Akwa se suna, woh apne walid se riwayat kar rahe the, woh kehte the ke: Hum Nabi (ﷺ) ke sath suraj dhalne par namaz parhte the, phir hum saaye dhundte hue wapas hote the.
Jabir reported: We used to pray Jummah with the Prophet (ﷺ) and then return and rest our camels at the time of midday.
حضرت جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ ہم نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ جمعہ کی نماز پڑھتے تھے پھر واپس آتے اور اپنے اونٹوں کو دوپہر کے وقت آرام دیتے۔
Hazrat Jabir Raziallahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki hum Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke sath Juma ki namaz parhte thay phir wapas aate aur apne oonton ko dopahar ke waqt aaram dete.
Anas said, "I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) praying like this, so I will never abandon it."
حضرت انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو یوں نماز پڑھتے دیکھا ہے تو میں اسے کبھی نہیں چھوڑوں گا۔
Hazrat Anas Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki maine Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ko yun namaz parhte dekha hai to main ise kabhi nahin chhorun ga.
Abu Al-Najashi said: I heard Rafi` bin Khadij saying, “We used to offer the `Asr prayer with Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and the sheep would be slaughtered, cut into ten pieces, then cooked, and we would eat cooked meat before sunset. And we used to offer the Maghrib prayer at the time of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and (after the prayer) one of us would leave, and he could recognize the place where his she-camel had been sitting.”
ابو النجاشی رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے رافع بن خدیج رضی اللہ عنہ کو کہتے سنا: ”ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ عصر کی نماز ادا کرتے اور (اتنی دیر میں) بھیڑ ذبح کر کے دس دس ٹکڑے کر دیئے جاتے، پھر پکائی جاتی اور ہم سورج غروب ہونے سے پہلے پکا ہوا گوشت کھا لیتے اور ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ مغرب کی نماز اپنے وقت پر ادا کرتے تھے (اور نماز کے بعد) ہم میں سے آدمی نکل جاتا تو وہ اپنی اونٹنی کی جگہ پہچان لیتا (کہ وہ کہاں بیٹھی تھی)“۔
Abu alnjashi razi Allahu anhu kahte hain ke maine Rafi bin Khadij razi Allahu anhu ko kahte suna: “Hum Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ke sath Asr ki namaz ada karte aur (itni der mein) bhed zabah kar ke das das tukde kar diye jate, phir pakai jati aur hum sooraj ghuroob hone se pehle pakka hua gosht kha lete aur hum Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ke sath Maghrib ki namaz apne waqt par ada karte the (aur namaz ke baad) hum mein se aadmi nikal jata to wo apni untni ki jagah pehchan leta (ke wo kahan baithi thi)”
Anas ibn Malik narrated that: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) led us in the 'Asr prayer, and when he finished, a man from Banu Salimah came to him and said: "O Messenger of Allah, we want to slaughter a young camel of ours and we would love for you to be present." He said: "Yes." So he set off, and we set off with him. We found that the camel had not yet been slaughtered, so it was slaughtered then, cut up, cooked, and we ate from it before the sun set.
حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہم کو عصر کی نماز پڑھائی، پھر جب آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نماز سے فارغ ہوئے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس بنو سلیمہ کا ایک شخص آیا اور کہنے لگا: اللہ کے رسول! ہم اپنی ایک اونٹنی ذبح کرنا چاہتے ہیں، ہم پسند کریں گے کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اس میں شریک ہوں۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ہاں۔ تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم (اس کے ساتھ) چل دیے اور ہم بھی آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ چل دیے، ہم نے دیکھا کہ ابھی تک اونٹنی ذبح نہیں کی گئی تھی، چنانچہ وہ ذبح کی گئی، اس کے بعد اسے کاٹا گیا، پکایا گیا اور ہم نے سورج غروب ہونے سے پہلے پہلے اس میں سے کھانا کھایا۔
Hazrat Anas bin Malik Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne hum ko Asr ki namaz parhayi, phir jab Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam namaz se farigh huye to Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke pass Banu Salima ka ek shakhs aaya aur kehne laga: Allah ke Rasul! hum apni ek untni zibah karna chahte hain, hum pasand karenge ki Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam is mein sharik hon. Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: Haan. To Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam (is ke sath) chal diye aur hum bhi Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke sath chal diye, hum ne dekha ki abhi tak untni zibah nahin ki gayi thi, chunancha woh zibah ki gayi, is ke baad use kaata gaya, pakaya gaya aur hum ne Suraj ghuroob hone se pehle pehle is mein se khana khaya.
Abu Bakr ibn 'Uthman ibn Sahl ibn Hunayf said: I heard my father, Umayya ibn Sahl ibn Hunayf, say: We prayed the noon prayer with 'Umar ibn al-Khattab, then we left and went to Anas ibn Malik. We found him praying the afternoon prayer. I said, “O Uncle, what is this prayer that you prayed?” He said, “The afternoon prayer.” I said, “And this is the prayer of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him?” He said, “This is the prayer of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, which we used to pray with him.”
ابو بکر بن عثمان بن سہل بن حنیف نے بیان کیا : میں نے اپنے والد سہل بن حنیف سے سنا، وہ کہہ رہے تھے کہ ہم نے حضرت عمر بن الخطاب رضی اللہ عنہ کے ساتھ ظہر کی نماز ادا کی، پھر ہم وہاں سے نکل کر حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کے ہاں گئے تو ہم نے ان کو عصر کی نماز پڑھتے ہوئے پایا۔ میں نے کہا : چچا جان! یہ کون سی نماز ہے جو آپ نے پڑھی؟ انہوں نے کہا کہ عصر کی نماز۔ میں نے کہا : اور یہ اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی نماز ہے؟ انہوں نے کہا کہ ہاں! یہ اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی نماز ہے جسے ہم آپ کے ساتھ ادا کرتے تھے۔
Abu Bakr bin Usman bin Sahl bin Hanif ne bayan kiya : mein ne apne wald Sahl bin Hanif se suna, woh keh rahe the ke hum ne Hazrat Umar bin al-Khattab Radi Allahu anhu ke sath Zuhr ki namaz ada ki, phir hum wahan se nikal kar Hazrat Anas bin Malik Radi Allahu anhu ke han gaye to hum ne un ko Asr ki namaz parhte huye paya. Mein ne kaha : chacha jan! yeh kaun si namaz hai jo aap ne parhi? Unhon ne kaha ke Asr ki namaz. Mein ne kaha : aur yeh Allah ke Rasul Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ki namaz hai? Unhon ne kaha ke haan! yeh Allah ke Rasul Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ki namaz hai jise hum aap ke sath ada karte the.

ابو بکر بن عثمان بن سہل بن حنیف نے کہا : میں نے اپنے والد عثمان بن سہل بن حنیف سے سنا، وہ کہتے تھے کہ ہم نے عمر بن خطاب کے ساتھ ظہر کی نماز ادا کی، پھر ہم نکلے اور حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کے ہاں گئے تو وہ عصر کی نماز پڑھ رہے تھے، میں نے کہا : چچا! یہ آپ نے کون سی نماز پڑھی ہے؟ انہوں نے کہا : عصر کی، میں نے کہا : اور یہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی نماز ہے؟ انہوں نے کہا : یہی رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی نماز ہے جو آپ کے ساتھ پڑھا کرتے تھے۔

Anas bin Malik narrated that: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to pray `Asr when the sun was white and clear, then the one who went to Al-'Awali would arrive while the sun was still high.
حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم عصر کی نماز اس وقت پڑھتے جب سورج سفید اور چمکتا ہوا ہوتا، یہاں تک کہ جو شخص العوالي جاتا تو اسے سورج ابھی بلند ہی نظر آتا۔
Hazrat Anas bin Malik Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai keh Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam Asar ki namaz us waqt parhte jab suraj safaid aur chamakta hua hota, yahan tak keh jo shakhs al-'Awali jata to use suraj abhi buland hi nazar aata.
Anas narrated that: The Prophet ﷺ would pray `Asr while the sun was still high, such that one of us would leave and go to al-'Awali (a place in Medina) and find the sun still high upon his return.
حضرت انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ عصر کی نماز اس وقت پڑھتے جب سورج کافی بلند ہوتا، یہاں تک کہ ہم میں سے کوئی شخص نماز پڑھ کر مدینہ کے ایک مقام "العالی" جاتا اور واپس آتا تو اسے سورج ابھی بھی کافی بلندی پر نظر آتا۔
Hazrat Anas razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai ke Nabi Kareem sallallahu alaihi wasallam Asr ki namaz us waqt parhte jab suraj kafi buland hota, yahan tak ke hum mein se koi shakhs namaz parh kar Madinah ke aik maqam "alali" jata aur wapas aata to use suraj abhi bhi kafi bulandi par nazar aata.
Anas bin Malik narrated that the Prophet ﷺ would pray the Asr prayer while the sun was still high, such that a person could go to al-'Awali (a place in Medina) and return while the sun was still high.
حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ عصر کی نماز اس وقت ادا فرماتے جب سورج کافی بلند ہوتا، یہاں تک کہ ایک شخص مدینہ کے مقام "العوالی" جا کر واپس بھی آ سکتا تھا اور سورج پھر بھی بلند ہوتا۔
