Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saw a man leaving the mosque and the Mu'adhdhin was calling (to the prayer). He (ﷺ) said: "As for this man, he has disobeyed Abul-Qasim (ﷺ)."
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک شخص کو مسجد سے نکلتے ہوئے دیکھا اور مؤذن اذان دے رہا تھا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "اما یہ شخص تو ابوالقاسم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی نافرمانی کر گیا"۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne ek shakhs ko masjid se nikalte huye dekha aur muazzin azan de raha tha to aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "Ama yeh shakhs to Abu al Qasim sallallahu alaihi wasallam ki nafarmani kar gaya".
Jabir ibn Abdullah reported that the Prophet ﷺ was approached by a blind man who said, "O Messenger of Allah, I am blind and my house is far." He asked the Prophet ﷺ to grant him a dispensation to pray at home. The Prophet ﷺ asked him, "Do you hear the call to prayer?" He replied, "Yes." The Prophet ﷺ then said, "Then come to the prayer, even if you have to crawl."
جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ ایک نابینا شخص نے نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہو کر عرض کی، ''اے اللہ کے رسول! میں نابینا ہوں اور میرا گھر دور ہے۔‘‘ اس نے نبی کریم ﷺ سے گھر میں نماز پڑھنے کی رخصت طلب کی۔ آپ ﷺ نے اس سے پوچھا، ''کیا تم اذان سنتے ہو؟‘‘ اس نے جواب دیا، ''جی ہاں۔‘‘ اس پر آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا، ''تو پھر نماز کے لیے مسجد آؤ، چاہے رینگتے ہوئے ہی کیوں نہ آؤ۔‘‘
Jaber bin Abdullah razi Allah anhuma se riwayat hai ki ek nabeena shakhs ne Nabi Kareem sallallahu alaihi wasallam ki khidmat mein hazir ho kar arz ki, ''Aye Allah ke Rasool! Main nabeena hun aur mera ghar door hai.'' Usne Nabi Kareem sallallahu alaihi wasallam se ghar mein namaz padhne ki rukhsat talab ki. Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne us se pucha, ''Kya tum azan sunte ho?'' Usne jawab diya, ''Jee haan.'' Is par Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya, ''To phir namaz ke liye masjid aao, chahe rengte hue hi kyun na aao.''
Ibn Abbas narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Whoever hears the call (to prayer) and does not respond, his prayer is not valid, except for one who has an excuse."
حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا ”جس نے اذان سنی اور اس پر لبیک نہ کہی تو اس کی نماز نہیں سوائے اس کے کہ اس کے پاس کوئی عذر ہو“۔
Hazrat Ibn Abbas Radi Allah Anhuma se riwayat hai keh Rasul Allah SAW ne farmaya Jis ne azaan suni aur us par labbaik na kahi to us ki namaz nahi siwae is ke keh us ke pass koi uzr ho
Anas narrated:
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not come out to us for three days, and the prayer was established. Abu Bakr went forward (to lead the prayer), and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was behind a curtain. He lifted it, and when the whiteness of the face of the Prophet ﷺ appeared to us, we had never seen a sight more wondrous to us than the face of the Prophet of Allah ﷺ when it appeared to us. He gestured with his hand towards Abu Bakr to continue leading (the prayer). Anas added: "And the Messenger of Allah ﷺ remained behind the curtain until he died ﷺ.”
حضرت انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ تین دن تک رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہم میں تشریف نہ لائے اور نماز قائم ہوتی رہی۔ حضرت ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ آگے بڑھے (نماز پڑھانے کے لیے) تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ایک پردے کے پیچھے تھے۔ آپ نے پردہ اٹھایا تو ہمیں نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا چہرہ نظر آیا۔ ہم نے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے چہرے سے زیادہ حسین کوئی چیز نہیں دیکھی تھی۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے حضرت ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ کی طرف اشارہ فرمایا کہ آپ نماز پڑھاتے رہیں۔ حضرت انس رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پردے کے پیچھے ہی رہے یہاں تک کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی وفات ہو گئی۔
Hazrat Anas Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki teen din tak Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam hum mein tashreef na laaye aur namaz qaayam hoti rahi. Hazrat Abu Bakr Radi Allahu Anhu aagey barhey (namaz parhaney ke liye) to Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam aik pardey ke peechey thay. Aap ne parda uthaya to humein Nabi Akram Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ka chehra nazar aaya. Hum ne Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke chehre se ziada haseen koi cheez nahin dekhi thi. Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne Hazrat Abu Bakr Radi Allahu Anhu ki taraf ishara farmaya ki aap namaz parhatay rahein. Hazrat Anas Radi Allahu Anhu ne kaha ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam pardey ke peechey hi rahey yahan tak ki aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ki wafat ho gayi.
Amr ibn al-Harith narrated to us, from Ibn Shihab, from Anas ibn Malik that the Prophet ﷺ said: "When evening draws near and the prayer is ready, then start with it (meaning the prayer) before the Maghrib prayer, and do not rush your dinner.”
ہم سے عمرو بن حارث نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے ابن شہاب سے، انہوں نے انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: "جب شام ہو جائے اور نماز (مغرب) کا وقت ہو جائے تو مغرب کی نماز سے پہلے اسے (یعنی عشاء کی نماز) پڑھ لو اور کھانا کھانے میں جلدی نہ کرو۔"
Hum se Amr bin Haris ne bayan kiya, unhon ne Ibn Shahab se, unhon ne Anas bin Malik Radi Allahu Anhu se ke Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Jab sham ho jaye aur namaz (Maghrib) ka waqt ho jaye to Maghrib ki namaz se pehle use (yani Isha ki namaz) padh lo aur khana khane mein jaldi na karo."
Nafi' reported: When the sun set and the night became apparent for the son of Umar, he would sometimes have his dinner prepared while fasting and the mu'adhdhin would pronounce adhan and then iqama while he was listening (to it). But he neither left off his dinner, nor did he make haste (in finishing it) till he finished his dinner. Then he would come out and observe prayer and say: Allah's Messenger ( صلى الله عليه وسلم ) said: Do not make haste in finishing your meals when it is served before you.
نافع رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہ جب سورج غروب ہونے کے بعد کھانا کھاتے اور موذن اذان کہتا تو وہ سنتے رہتے اور افطار نہ کرتے، پھر جب موذن اقامت کہتا تو بھی وہ کھانا کھاتے رہتے، نہ کھانا چھوڑتے اور نہ ہی جلدی کرتے یہاں تک کہ فارغ ہوجاتے، پھر نماز کے لیے نکلتے اور کہتے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا جب تمہارے سامنے کھانا رکھا جائے تو جلدی نہ کرو۔
Nafi razi Allahu anhu se marvi hai ki Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar razi Allahu anhu jab sooraj ghuroob hone ke baad khana khate aur moazzin azan kehta to wo sunte rahte aur iftar na karte, phir jab moazzin iqamat kehta to bhi wo khana khate rahte, na khana chhorte aur na hi jaldi karte yahan tak ki farigh hojate, phir namaz ke liye nikalte aur kehte ki Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya jab tumhare samne khana rakha jaye to jaldi na karo.
Anas reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "When the prayer has begun and one of you is fasting, then let him begin with dinner before the evening prayer. Do not rush your dinner.”
حضرت انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "جب نماز شروع ہو جائے اور تم میں سے کوئی روزے دار ہو تو اسے چاہیے کہ مغرب کی نماز سے پہلے افطار کر لے، افطار میں جلدی نہ کرے۔”
Hazrat Anas Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ke Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Jab namaz shuru ho jaye aur tum mein se koi rozaydaar ho to usay chahiye ke maghrib ki namaz se pehle iftar kar le, iftar mein jaldi na kare."
Abu Huraira narrated that Allah's Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, when he returned from the battle of Hunayn, he traveled one night until drowsiness overcame him. He dismounted and said to Bilal, "Keep watch for us during the night." Bilal prayed what was decreed for him and then slept. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and his Companions slept as well. When dawn approached, Bilal leaned against his camel, facing the direction of prayer. Sleep overcame Bilal while he was leaning against his camel, and neither the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, nor Bilal, nor any of his Companions woke up until the sun had risen. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was the first of them to wake up. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was startled and said, "O Bilal!" Bilal said, "The One who has control over your soul has control over mine, my father, O Messenger of Allah!" He said, "Mount your camels." Then the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, performed ablution and ordered Bilal to give the call to prayer, and then he led the prayer. He said, "Whoever forgets a prayer or sleeps through its time, let him pray it when he remembers it, for Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, has said: {Establish prayer for My remembrance.}
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب جنگ حنین سے واپس تشریف لائے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ایک رات کا سفر کیا یہاں تک کہ اونگھ آپ پر غالب آگئی۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سواری سے اترے اور بلال رضی اللہ عنہ سے فرمایا: "رات میں ہماری حفاظت کے لیے جاگتے رہو۔" بلال رضی اللہ عنہ نے وہ دعا پڑھی جو ان کے لیے مقدر تھی اور پھر سو گئے۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اور آپ کے صحابہ کرام بھی سو گئے۔ جب صبح قریب آئی تو بلال رضی اللہ عنہ اپنے اونٹ پر ٹیک لگائے نماز کی سمت منہ کر کے بیٹھ گئے۔ بلال رضی اللہ عنہ اونٹ پر ٹیک لگائے ہوئے ہی سو گئے اور نہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم، نہ بلال رضی اللہ عنہ اور نہ ہی آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے کسی صحابی کی آنکھ کھلی یہاں تک کہ سورج طلوع ہو گیا۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ان سب میں سے پہلے جاگے۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم چونک گئے اور فرمایا: "اے بلال!" بلال رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: "اے اللہ کے رسول! جس کے قبضے میں آپ کی جان ہے اسی کے قبضے میں میری جان ہے۔" آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "اپنے اونٹ تیار کرو۔" پھر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے وضو کیا اور بلال رضی اللہ عنہ کو اذان دینے کا حکم دیا اور پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے نماز پڑھائی۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "جس شخص سے کوئی نماز فوت ہو جائے یا وہ اس کے وقت پر سو جائے تو جب اسے یاد آئے تو اسے ادا کر لے کیونکہ اللہ تبارک و تعالیٰ نے فرمایا ہے: {نماز کو میرے ذکر کے لیے قائم کرو۔}
Hazrat Abu Hurairah Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam jab jang Hunain se wapas tashreef laaye to Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ek raat ka safar kiya yahan tak ki ungh Aap par ghalib aa gayi. Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam sawari se utre aur Bilal Radi Allahu Anhu se farmaya: "Raat mein humari hifazat ke liye jaagte raho." Bilal Radi Allahu Anhu ne woh dua parhi jo unke liye muqaddar thi aur phir so gaye. Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam aur Aap ke Sahaba Kiram bhi so gaye. Jab subah qareeb aayi to Bilal Radi Allahu Anhu apne unt par tek lagaaye namaz ki simt munh kar ke baith gaye. Bilal Radi Allahu Anhu unt par tek lagaye huye hi so gaye aur na Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam, na Bilal Radi Allahu Anhu aur na hi Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke kisi sahabi ki aankh khuli yahan tak ki suraj talu ho gaya. Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam un sab mein se pehle jagay. Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam chonke gaye aur farmaya: "Ae Bilal!" Bilal Radi Allahu Anhu ne kaha: "Ae Allah ke Rasul! Jis ke qabze mein Aap ki jaan hai usi ke qabze mein meri jaan hai." Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Apne unt taiyar karo." Phir Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne wuzu kiya aur Bilal Radi Allahu Anhu ko azan dene ka hukum diya aur phir Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne namaz parhayi. Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Jis shakhs se koi namaz foot ho jaye ya woh uske waqt par so jaye to jab use yaad aaye to use ada kar le kyunki Allah Tabarak Wa Ta'ala ne farmaya hai: {Namaz ko mere zikr ke liye qayam karo.}
Anas [ibn Malik] said: A man of the Ansar who was corpulent said to the Prophet (ﷺ), "I cannot pray with you." He meant, "I cannot line up with you in prayer because of my corpulence." He said, "If you come to my house and pray there, I will pray behind you." So the man prepared some food and invited the Prophet (ﷺ) to his house. The man spread the corner of a mat for them, and he (the Prophet) prayed two rak'ahs on it. Anas said: Then Fulan, the son of Al-Jarud, said to Anas, "Did the Prophet (ﷺ) used to pray Duha (forenoon prayer)?" Anas replied, "I never saw him praying Duha except on that day."
انسؓ (بن مالک) بیان کرتے ہیں کہ ایک انصاری صحابی جو کہ جسامت میں بھاری تھے، نے نبی کریم ﷺ سے کہا: "میں آپ کے ساتھ نماز نہیں پڑھ سکتا۔" ان کی مراد یہ تھی کہ "اپنی جسامت کی وجہ سے میں آپ کے ساتھ صف میں کھڑے نہیں ہو سکتا۔" آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: "اگر تم میرے گھر آؤ اور وہاں نماز پڑھو، تو میں تمہارے پیچھے نماز پڑھوں گا۔" چنانچہ اس صحابی نے کھانا تیار کیا اور نبی کریم ﷺ کو اپنے گھر مدعو کیا۔ اس شخص نے ان کے لیے چٹائی کا ایک کونا بچھا دیا، اور آپ ﷺ نے اس پر دو رکعت نماز ادا فرمائی۔ انسؓ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ پھر جارود کے بیٹے فُلان نے انسؓ سے پوچھا: "کیا نبی کریم ﷺ چاشت کی نماز پڑھا کرتے تھے؟" انسؓ نے جواب دیا: "میں نے انہیں اس دن کے سوا کبھی چاشت کی نماز پڑھتے نہیں دیکھا۔"
Anas (Bin Malik) bayan karte hain ke aik ansari sahabi jo ke jasamat mein bhaari the, ne Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) se kaha: "Main aap ke sath namaz nahi parh sakta." Un ki murad yeh thi ke "apni jasamat ki wajah se main aap ke sath saf mein kharay nahi ho sakta." Aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne farmaya: "Agar tum mere ghar aao aur wahan namaz parho, to main tumhare peeche namaz parhun ga." Chunancha us sahabi ne khana taiyar kiya aur Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ko apne ghar madoo kiya. Uss shakhs ne un ke liye chatai ka aik kona bicha diya, aur aap (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) ne uss par do rakat namaz ada farmaai. Anas (RA) bayan karte hain ke phir Jarod ke bete Fullan ne Anas (RA) se poocha: "Kiya Nabi Kareem (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) chasht ki namaz parhte thay?" Anas (RA) ne jawab diya: "Maine unhen uss din ke siwa kabhi chasht ki namaz parhte nahi dekha."
Hisham ibn Urwa reported from his father that Abdullah ibn al-Arqam used to lead his companions in prayer. One day, the time for prayer came, and he went to relieve himself. When he returned, he said, “I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: 'If anyone feels the urge to relieve himself, let him do so before praying.'"
ہشام بن عروہ اپنے والد سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ عبداللہ بن ارقم اپنے ساتھیوں کو نماز پڑھاتے تھے۔ ایک دن نماز کا وقت ہوا تو وہ قضائے حاجت کے لیے گئے۔ واپس آکر انہوں نے کہا کہ میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے، ”جب کسی کو حاجت ہو تو نماز (سے پہلے) اسے پوری کر لے۔“
Hisham bin Urwah apne wald se riwayat karte hain keh Abdullah bin Arqam apne sathiyon ko namaz parhate thay. Ek din namaz ka waqt hua to woh qaza hajat ke liye gaye. Wapas aakar unhon ne kaha ke maine Rasool Allah SAW ko ye farmate huye suna hai, "Jab kisi ko hajat ho to namaz (se pehle) usay poori kar le."
Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: "None of you should pray while holding back urine and faeces."
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”تم میں سے کوئی پیشاب یا پاخانہ روک کر نماز نہ پڑھے“۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Tum mein se koi peshab ya pakhana rokk kar namaz na parhe".
Yaḥyā ibn Ayyūb narrated to us from Ya’qūb ibn Mujāhid from Al-Qāsim ibn Muḥammad and ‘Abdullāh ibn Muḥammad, they narrated to him that ‘Ā’ishah said: I heard the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) saying: “None of you should stand up for the prayer while the food is served, nor while he is resisting (the call of nature) for relieving himself from urine or stool.”
یحییٰ بن ایوب نے ہمیں یعقوب بن مجاہد سے ، انہوں نے القاسم بن محمد اور عبداللہ بن محمد سے روایت کی ، انہوں نے ان سے روایت کی کہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہا : میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو کہتے ہوئے سنا : " تم میں سے کوئی کھانا سامنے رکھے ہوئے نماز کے لیے کھڑا نہ ہو ، اور نہ ہی اس حال میں کہ وہ پیشاب یا پاخانے کے لیے خود کو روک رہا ہو ۔"
Yahiya bin Ayub ne humain Yaqub bin Mujahid se, unhon ne Alqasim bin Muhammad aur Abdullah bin Muhammad se riwayat ki, unhon ne un se riwayat ki keh Aisha Radi Allahu Anha ne kaha: main ne Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ko kehte huye suna: "Tum mein se koi khana samne rakhe huye namaz ke liye khara na ho, aur na hi us hal mein keh woh peshab ya pakhane ke liye khud ko rok raha ho."
Al-Qasim ibn Muhammad said:
There was some tension between Aisha and some of her brother's children. He [the brother's son] entered upon her and when he sat down, the food was brought. He got up to go to the mosque (for prayer). She said: “Sit down, you treacherous one! I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'Let none of you pray in the presence of food, nor while he is suppressing the urge to relieve himself.'"
القاسم بن محمد نے کہا:
عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا اور ان کے بھائی کے بچوں کے درمیان کچھ تناؤ تھا۔ وہ [بھائی کا بیٹا] ان کے پاس داخل ہوا اور جب وہ بیٹھ گیا تو کھانا لایا گیا۔ وہ مسجد (نماز کے لیے) جانے کے لیے اٹھا۔ انہوں نے کہا: ’’بیٹھ جاؤ، اے دغا باز! میں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے: 'تم میں سے کوئی شخص کھانے کے سامنے نماز نہ پڑھے اور نہ ہی اس حال میں کہ وہ اپنے آپ کو پیشاب پاخانہ سے روک رہا ہو۔'‘‘
Alqasim bin Muhammad ne kaha:
Ayesha radi Allahu anha aur un ke bhai ke bachon ke darmiyan kuch tanaav tha. Wo [bhai ka beta] un ke paas dakhil hua aur jab wo baith gaya to khana laya gaya. Wo masjid (namaz ke liye) jane ke liye utha. Unhon ne kaha: ''Baith jao, ae dagha baz! Maine Rasul Allah ﷺ ko ye farmate huye suna hai: 'Tum mein se koi shakhs khane ke samne namaz na parhe aur na hi is hal mein ke wo apne aap ko peshab pakhana se rok raha ho.''
Mahmud ibn Ar-Rabi` Al-Ansari told that:
Itban bin Malik, one of the Ansar who witnessed Badr, came to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) and said: "O Messenger of Allah, my eyesight has weakened and I lead my people in prayer. If it rains, the valley between me and them floods and I cannot reach their mosque to lead them in prayer. So I wish that you, O Messenger of Allah, would come and pray in my house so that I may take that place as a place of prayer." He said: "The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'I will do that."' Itban said: "So the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) went out with Abu Bakr As-Siddiq when the sun had risen high. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) asked permission to enter, so I admitted him. He did not sit down when he entered the house, but said: 'Where do you like me to pray in your house?" He said: "So I pointed out a place in the house to him. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) stood up and said Takbir, and we lined up behind him, and he prayed two rak'ahs. Then he gave the Salam." He said: "And we made him sit on a rug which we had made for him."
محمود بن الربيع الانصاری رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ بیعت عقبہ میں شامل اور غزوہ بدر میں شریک حضرت عتبان بن مالک انصاری رضی اللہ عنہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے اور عرض کی: اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ! میری آنکھیں کمزور ہو گئی ہیں اور میں اپنی قوم کو نماز پڑھاتا ہوں، جب بارش ہوتی ہے تو میرے اور ان کے درمیان والی وادی میں سیلاب آجاتا ہے جس کی وجہ سے میں ان کی مسجد تک پہنچ کر انہیں نماز نہیں پڑھا سکتا، لہٰذا میری خواہش ہے کہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم میرے گھر تشریف لائیں اور وہاں نماز پڑھیں تاکہ میں اس جگہ کو نماز کی جگہ بنا لوں۔" عتبان رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "میں ایسا ہی کروں گا۔" عتبان رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں: "چنانچہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سیدنا ابو بکر صدیق رضی اللہ عنہ کے ساتھ سورج خوب چڑھ جانے کے بعد تشریف لائے۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اجازت طلب کی تو میں نے اندر آنے کی اجازت دے دی۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم گھر میں داخل ہوتے ہی بیٹھے نہیں بلکہ فرمایا: "تمہیں اپنے گھر میں کہاں نماز پڑھانا پسند ہے؟" عتبان رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: تو میں نے گھر میں ایک جگہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے لیے تجویز کردی۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کھڑے ہو گئے اور تکبیر تحریمہ کہی، اور ہم آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پیچھے صف بندی کر لی، اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے دو رکعتیں پڑھائیں۔ پھر سلام پھیرا۔" عتبان رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں: "اور ہم نے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو ایک چٹائی پر بٹھایا جو ہم نے آپ کے لیے بچھائی تھی۔"
Mahmood bin Al Rabi Al Ansari razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai ki bai'at Aqabah mein shamil aur ghazwa Badr mein sharik Hazrat Utbah bin Malik Ansari razi Allah anhu Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ki khidmat mein hazir hue aur arz ki: Allah ke Rasool sallallahu alaihi wasallam! meri aankhein kamzor ho gayi hain aur mein apni qaum ko namaz parhata hun, jab barish hoti hai to mere aur unke darmiyaan wali wadi mein sailab a jata hai jis ki wajah se mein unki masjid tak pahunch kar unhen namaz nahin parhata sakta, lihaza meri khwahish hai ki aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam mere ghar tashreef laen aur wahan namaz parhen taki mein is jagah ko namaz ki jagah bana lun." Utbah razi Allah anhu kahte hain ki Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "mein aisa hi karunga." Utbah razi Allah anhu kahte hain: "chunanchi Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddiq razi Allah anhu ke sath suraj khoob chadh jane ke baad tashreef laye. Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne ijazat talab ki to mein ne andar aane ki ijazat de di. Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ghar mein dakhil hote hi baithe nahin balki farmaya: "tumhen apne ghar mein kahan namaz parhana pasand hai?" Utbah razi Allah anhu ne kaha: to mein ne ghar mein ek jagah aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ke liye tajweez kar di. Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam kharay hue aur takbeer tahreema kahi, aur hum aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ke peechhe saf bandi kar li, aur aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne do rak'aten parhaen. phir salam phera." Utbah razi Allah anhu kahte hain: "aur hum ne aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ko ek chatai par bithaya jo hum ne aap ke liye bichhai thi."
Narrated Ibn Umar:
He felt intense cold one night, so he gave the adhan to those with him and they prayed in their travelling cloaks. He said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) when it was like this, he commanded the people to "pray in their travelling cloaks."
حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ انہیں ایک رات سخت سردی محسوس ہوئی تو انہوں نے اپنے ساتھ والوں کو اذان دی اور وہ اپنی سواری والی چادروں میں نماز پڑھنے لگے، کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو ایسی ہی رات میں دیکھا تھا تو آپ نے لوگوں کو حکم دیا کہ اپنی سواری والی چادروں میں نماز پڑھیں۔
Hazrat Ibn Umar razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai ki unhen ek raat sakht sardi mehsoos hui to unhon ne apne sath walon ko azaan di aur wo apni sawari wali chaadron mein namaz parhne lage, kehte hain ki maine Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ko aisi hi raat mein dekha tha to aap ne logon ko hukm diya ki apni sawari wali chaadron mein namaz parhen.
Nafi' reported that the son of 'Umar went to Dajnan on a cold night, and he commanded them to pray in their riding saddles.
And it was narrated to us that the Messenger of Allah, may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, whenever he would stay at a place during a cold night, "He would command them to pray in their riding saddles."
نَافِع نے بیان کیا کہ حضرت عمر کے بیٹے ایک سرد رات دَجْنَان میں تھے، تو انہوں نے لوگوں کو اپنی سواری کی کتوں ( saddles ) میں نماز پڑھنے کا حکم دیا۔
اور ہمیں یہ بھی بتایا گیا ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم جب بھی کسی سرد رات میں قیام فرماتے تو "لوگوں کو اپنی سواری والی کتوں میں نماز پڑھنے کا حکم دیتے تھے "۔
Nafi ne bayan kya ke Hazrat Umar ke bete ek sard raat Dajnan mein thay, tou unhon ne logon ko apni swari ki katun mein namaz parhne ka hukum diya.
Aur humain ye bhi bataya gaya hai ke Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam jab bhi kisi sard raat mein qayam farmate tou "logon ko apni swari wali katun mein namaz parhne ka hukum dete thay".
Ibn Umar narrated that: He called the Adhan for prayer on a night of cold and wind and said: "Pray in your houses." Then, he said: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to command the Mu'adh-dhin, when it was a night of cold and rain, to say: 'Pray in your houses.'"
ابن عمرؓ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ انہوں نے سردی اور ہوا والی ایک رات کو نماز کے لیے اذان دی اور کہا: "اپنے گھروں میں نماز پڑھو۔" پھر، انہوں نے کہا: "رسول اللہ ﷺ موذن کو حکم دیتے تھے، جب سردی اور بارش کی رات ہوتی تھی، تو کہو: 'اپنے گھروں میں نماز پڑھو۔'"
Ibn Umar bayan karte hain ke unhon ne sardi aur hawa wali ek raat ko namaz ke liye azan di aur kaha: "Apne gharon mein namaz parho." Phir, unhon ne kaha: "Rasool Allah moazin ko hukum dete the, jab sardi aur barish ki raat hoti thi, to kaho: 'Apne gharon mein namaz parho.'"
Abu Al-Malih's father said: "We were with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) at the time of the Battle of Al-Hudaybiyah and we were caught in a rain that did not even reach the bottom of our sandals. Then the caller of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) called out, 'Pray in your places.'"
ابو الملیح کے والد نے کہا: "ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ حدیبیہ کے موقع پر تھے اور ہم ایک ایسی بارش میں پھنس گئے تھے جو ہمارے جوتوں کے نیچے تک بھی نہیں پہنچ سکی۔ پھر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے مؤذن نے اعلان کیا، 'اپنی اپنی جگہ نماز پڑھو۔'"
Abu al-Malih ke walid ne kaha: "Hum Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ke sath Hudaibiya ke mauqe par the aur hum ek aisi barish mein phans gaye the jo humare juton ke niche tak bhi nahi pahunch saki. Phir Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ke muazzin ne elaan kiya, 'Apni apni jagah namaz parho.'"
Ibn Umar narrated that: He (the Prophet) became inconvenienced on a cold night and said to his companions: "Pray in your saddle cloths," and he said: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to order the Mu'adh-dhin to pronounce the Adhan on a rainy or a cold night, and would command his companions to "Pray in your saddle cloths."
حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ ایک سرد رات نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو تکلیف ہوئی تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنے صحابہ کرام سے فرمایا: "اپنے اپنے لباس زین پر نماز پڑھو"۔ اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم بارش والی یا سرد رات میں موذن کو اذان دینے کا حکم دیتے تھے، اور اپنے صحابہ کرام کو یہ حکم دیتے تھے کہ "اپنے اپنے لباس زین پر نماز پڑھو۔"
Hazrat Ibn Umar Radi Allahu Anhuma se riwayat hai ki ek sard raat Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ko takleef hui to Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne apne Sahaba Kiram se farmaya: "Apne apne libas zeen par namaz padho". Aur Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam barish wali ya sard raat mein Muazzin ko azan dene ka hukum dete the, aur apne Sahaba Kiram ko ye hukum dete the ki "Apne apne libas zeen par namaz padho."
Abu al-Malih's father said: We were once caught in the rain, and the caller of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) called us to "pray in your homes."
ابو الملیح کے والد نے کہا: ایک بار ہم بارش میں پھنس گئے، تو اللہ کے رسول (ﷺ) کے مُذن نے ہمیں یہ کہہ کر بلایا کہ "اپنے گھروں میں نماز پڑھو"۔
Abu al-Malih ke walid ne kaha: Ek baar hum barish mein phans gaye, tou Allah ke Rasul (ﷺ) ke muazzin ne humein yeh keh kar bulaya keh "apne gharon mein namaz parho".
Abu Huraira reported: We were with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, on a journey and it rained. He said, "Whoever among you wishes may pray in his riding vehicle."
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ہمراہ سفر میں تھے کہ بارش ہو گئی، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: تم میں سے جو چاہے اپنی سواری میں نماز پڑھ لے۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah RA se riwayat hai ki hum Rasulullah SAW ke hamrah safar mein the ke barish ho gayi, Aap SAW ne farmaya: Tum mein se jo chahe apni سواری mein namaz parh le.
Abu al-Malih narrated from his father:
We were with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, at the time of Hudaybiyyah when we were caught in a heavy rain, which did not even reach the straps of our sandals. So the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, ordered his caller to announce, "Pray in your places."
ابو الملیح نے اپنے والد سے روایت کی:
ہم حدیبیہ کے موقع پر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ تھے کہ ہم شدید بارش میں پھنس گئے، جو ہماری جوتیوں کے تسموں تک بھی نہیں پہنچی۔ تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنے منادی کو حکم دیا کہ اعلان کرو، "اپنی اپنی جگہ نماز پڑھو۔"
Abu al-Malih ne apne walid se riwayat ki:
Hum Hudaibiya ke mauke par Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ke sath the ke hum shadeed barish mein phans gaye, jo hamari jootiyon ke tasmon tak bhi nahin pahunchi. To Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne apne munadi ko hukm diya ke elaan karo, "Apni apni jaga namaz parho."
Narrated Ibn Umar:
When we were with the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) on a journey, and the night was dark or it was raining, the Mu'adhdhin of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to pronounce Adhan or his caller would call out, "Pray in your places."
حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ: ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ سفر میں ہوتے اور رات اندھیری ہوتی یا بارش ہو رہی ہوتی تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے موذن اذان کہتے یا آپ کے منادی یہ کہتے کہ اپنے اپنے مقام پر نماز پڑھ لو۔
Hazrat Ibn Umar razi Allah anhuma se riwayat hai ki: Hum Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ke sath safar mein hote aur raat andheri hoti ya barish ho rahi hoti to Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ke muazzin azaan kahte ya aap ke munadi ye kahte ki apne apne maqam par namaz parh lo.
Abu Sa’eed al-Khudri reported that:
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was once addressed about garlic and onion. It was said, “O Messenger of Allah, and the strongest of it all is garlic, so shall we forbid it?” The Messenger of Allah said, “Eat it. Whoever eats any of it among you should not approach this mosque until its smell has gone.”
حضرت ابو سعید الخدری رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے لہسن اور پیاز کے بارے میں عرض کیا گیا، ”اے اللہ کے رسول! اور ان سب میں تیز بو والا لہسن ہے تو کیا ہم اسے حرام قرار دے دیں؟“ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”تم اسے کھاؤ، تم میں سے جو کوئی بھی اسے کھائے تو جب تک اس کی بو ختم نہ ہوجائے اس مسجد کے قریب نہ آئے۔“
Hazrat Abu Saeed Al Khudri Radi Allaho Anho bayan karte hain ke Rasool Allah Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam se lahsan aur piyaz ke bare mein arz kiya gaya, ”Aye Allah ke Rasool! Aur in sab mein tez boo wala lahsan hai to kya hum ise haram karar de dein?“ Rasool Allah Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne farmaya: ”Tum ise khao, tum mein se jo koi bhi ise khaye to jab tak is ki boo khatam na ho jaye is masjid ke qareeb na aaye.“
Jabir reported: We used to not eat onions or garlic, but then we became poor and we ate them. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Whoever eats from these foul-smelling plants, let him not approach our mosque, for the angels are bothered by what bothers the people."
جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ ہم پیاز اور لہسن نہیں کھاتے تھے، پھر ہم غریب ہوگئے تو ہم نے انہیں کھانا شروع کردیا۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "جو ان بدبودار پودوں سے کھائے وہ ہماری مسجد کے قریب نہ آئے، کیونکہ فرشتوں کو وہ چیزیں تکلیف دیتی ہیں جو لوگوں کو تکلیف دیتی ہیں۔"
Jaber raza Allahu anhu se riwayat hai ki hum piyaz aur lahsan nahi khate thay, phir hum ghareeb hogaye to hum ne unhen khana shuru kardiya. Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "Jo in badboodar podon se khaye wo hamari masjid ke qareeb na aaye, kyunki farishton ko wo cheezen takleef deti hain jo logon ko takleef deti hain."
Nafi' reported that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "He who eats from this tree, he should not approach our mosque."
حضرت نافع رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ''جو اس درخت سے کھائے وہ ہماری مسجد کے قریب نہ آئے''۔
Hazrat Nafi Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: ''Jo is darakht se khaaye wo hamari masjid ke qareeb na aaye''
Ata reported that he heard Jabir bin Abdullah say that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Whoever eats from this garlic, let him not approach our mosques."
عطاء نے جابر بن عبداللہ سے سنا ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "جو شخص اس لہسن میں سے کھائے تو وہ ہماری مسجدوں کے قریب نہ آئے۔"
Ata ne Jabir bin Abdullah se suna hai ki Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "Jo shakhs is lahsan mein se khaye to woh hamari masjidon ke qareeb na aaye."
Jabir narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "He who eats from this foul-smelling tree [garlic, onion, leek, etc.], let him not approach our Masjid, for the angels are offended by that which offends the people."
حضرت جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: "جس نے اس بدبودار درخت [لہسن، پیاز، گندنا وغیرہ] میں سے کھایا ہے تو وہ ہماری مسجد کے قریب نہ آئے، کیونکہ فرشتے اس چیز سے تکلیف محسوس کرتے ہیں جس سے انسان تکلیف محسوس کرتے ہیں۔"
Hazrat Jabir Raziallahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Jis ne is badbudar darakht [lehsan, pyaaz, gandna waghaira] mein se khaya hai to woh hamari masjid ke qareeb na aaye, kyunki farishtey us cheez se takleef mehsoos karte hain jis se insan takleef mehsoos karte hain."
Ma`dan ibn Abi Talha al-Ya`muri said: `Umar ibn al-Khattab delivered a sermon and said: “I saw in a dream as if a rooster pecked me once or twice, and I do not see that but as my time (of death) approaching. If something were to happen to me, then the Shura (consultation) is for these six people, with whom the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, passed away pleased, and I know that people will object to this matter (saying) that I killed them with this hand of mine in Islam! If they do so, then they are the enemies of Allah, the disbelievers, the misguided! I bear witness against the governors of the provinces, for I only sent them to teach the people their religion and the Sunnah of their Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and to divide the spoils of war amongst them. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, never spoke harshly to me about anything, nor did he rebuke me for anything, like the verse of Kalalah until he struck my chest and said: ‘The verse of the sword that was revealed at the end of Surah an-Nisa’ is sufficient for you: “They ask you for a legal verdict. Say: ‘Allah directs (thus) about Al-Kalalah (those who leave neither descendants nor ascendants as heirs).’” I will give a verdict on it with a verdict that anyone who reads it will know that the paternal uncle is (like) the father. Now then, O people! You eat from two trees that I do not see except as evil: onions and garlic. If the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, were to command a man from whom their smell is found to go out to al-Baqi`, he would do so. Whoever must eat them, let him cook them well.”
مدان بن ابی طلحہ الیموری نے کہا: حضرت عمر بن خطاب رضی اللہ عنہ نے ایک خطبہ دیا اور کہا: "میں نے خواب میں دیکھا کہ گویا ایک مرغ نے مجھے ایک یا دو بار چونچ ماری ہے اور میں اسے اپنی موت کے قریب آنے کے سوا کچھ نہیں سمجھتا۔ اگر میرے ساتھ کچھ ہو جاتا ہے تو مشورہ ان چھ لوگوں کے لیے ہے جن کے ساتھ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم راضی ہو کر دنیا سے گئے تھے اور میں جانتا ہوں کہ لوگ اس معاملے پر اعتراض کریں گے (یہ کہہ کر) کہ میں نے انہیں اسلام میں اپنے ہاتھ سے قتل کیا ہے! اگر وہ ایسا کرتے ہیں تو وہ اللہ کے دشمن ہیں، کافر ہیں، گمراہ ہیں! میں صوبوں کے گورنروں کے خلاف گواہی دیتا ہوں، کیونکہ میں نے انہیں صرف لوگوں کو ان کا دین اور ان کے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی سنت سکھانے اور ان میں مال غنیمت تقسیم کرنے کے لیے بھیجا تھا۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کبھی بھی مجھ سے کسی بات پر سختی سے بات نہیں کی اور نہ ہی مجھے کسی چیز پر سرزنش کی، جیسے کہ "کلالہ" کی آیت جب تک کہ آپ نے میرے سینے پر ہاتھ نہ مارا اور کہا: 'سورہ نساء کے آخر میں نازل ہونے والی تلوار کی آیت تمہارے لیے کافی ہے: (وَيَسْتَفْتُونَكَ فِي النِّسَاءِ ۖ قُلِ اللَّـهُ يُفْتِيكُمْ فِيهِنَّ وَمَا يُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْكُمْ فِي الْكِتَابِ فِي يَتَامَىٰ النِّسَاءِ اللَّاتِي لَا تُؤْتُونَهُنَّ مَا كُتِبَ لَهُنَّ وَتَرْغَبُونَ أَن تَنكِحُوهُنَّ وَالْمُسْتَضْعَفِينَ مِنَ الْوِلْدَانِ وَأَن تَقُومُوا لِلْيَتَامَىٰ بِالْقِسْطِ ۚ وَمَا تَفْعَلُوا مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَإِنَّ اللَّـهَ كَانَ بِهِ عَلِيمًا)۔' میں اس پر ایک ایسا فیصلہ دوں گا کہ جو اسے پڑھے گا وہ جان لے گا کہ چچا باپ کی طرح ہے۔ اب اے لوگو! تم دو درختوں سے کھاتے ہو جو مجھے برائی کے سوا کچھ نہیں لگتے: پیاز اور لہسن۔ اگر رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کسی ایسے شخص کو جس سے ان کی بدبو آتی ہو، بقیع جانے کا حکم دیتے تو وہ ضرور جاتا۔ جسے انہیں کھانا ہی ہو تو انہیں اچھی طرح پکا کر کھائے۔"
Madan bin Abi Talha al-Yamuri ne kaha: Hazrat Umar bin Khattab Radi Allahu Anhu ne ek khutba diya aur kaha: "Maine khwab mein dekha ke goya ek murgh ne mujhe ek ya do baar chonch maari hai aur main isay apni maut ke qareeb aane ke siwa kuchh nahin samjhta. Agar mere sath kuchh ho jata hai to mashwara in chhe logon ke liye hai jin ke sath Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam razi ho kar duniya se gaye thay aur main janta hun ke log is maamle par aetraaz karenge (yeh kah kar) ke maine unhen Islam mein apne hath se qatl kiya hai! Agar woh aisa karte hain to woh Allah ke dushman hain, kafir hain, gumrah hain! Main subon ke governoron ke khilaf gawahi deta hun, kyunki maine unhen sirf logon ko un ka deen aur un ke Nabi Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ki sunnat sikhanay aur un mein maal ghanimat taqseem karne ke liye bheja tha. Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne kabhi bhi mujh se kisi baat par sakhti se baat nahin ki aur na hi mujhe kisi cheez par sarzanish ki, jaise ke "kallala" ki ayat jab tak ke aap ne mere seene par hath na mara aur kaha: 'Surah Nisa ke akhir mein nazil hone wali talwar ki ayat tumhare liye kaafi hai: (Wayastaftoonaka fin Nisa'i qulil laahu yufteekum feehinna wa ma yutla 'alaikum fil Kitaabi fee Yataamal Nisa'il laatee laa tu'toonahunna ma kutiba lahunna wa targhaboona an tankihoohunna walmustad'afeena minal wildani wa an taqoomoo lil Yataama bilqist; wa ma taf'aloo min khairin fa inna Allaha kaana bihi 'aleema)' Main is par ek aisa faisla dun ga ke jo isay padhega woh jaan lega ke chacha baap ki tarah hai. Ab ae logo! Tum do darakhton se khate ho jo mujhe burai ke siwa kuchh nahin lagte: pyaaz aur lahsan. Agar Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam kisi aise shakhs ko jis se un ki badbu aati ho, baqi janne ka hukum dete to woh zaroor jata. Jise unhen khana hi ho to unhen achhi tarah pakka kar khaye."
Abu Ayyub al-Ansari reported that: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent him some food with some vegetables in it, including onions or leeks. He did not see any trace of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in it, so he refused to eat it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "What prevented you from eating?" He said, "I did not see your trace in it, O Messenger of Allah." The Prophet ﷺ said, "I feel shy from the angels of Allah, but it is not forbidden."
ابو ایوب انصاری رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان کے پاس کچھ کھانا بھیجا جس میں کچھ سبزیاں تھیں، ان میں پیاز یا لہسن بھی تھا۔ انہوں نے اس میں رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کا کوئی نشان نہ دیکھا تو کھانے سے انکار کر دیا۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان سے فرمایا، "تمہیں کھانے سے کس چیز نے روکا؟" انہوں نے کہا، "میں نے اس میں آپ کا نشان نہیں دیکھا، یا رسول اللہ!" آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا، "مجھے اللہ کے فرشتوں سے حیا آتی ہے، لیکن یہ حرام نہیں ہے۔"
Abu Ayyub Ansari razi Allahu anhu se riwayat hai keh Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne un ke pass kuch khana bheja jis mein kuch sabziyan thin, un mein piyaz ya lahsan bhi tha. Unhon ne us mein Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ka koi nishan na dekha to khane se inkar kar diya. Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne un se farmaya, "Tumhen khane se kis cheez ne roka?" Unhon ne kaha, "Maine us mein aap ka nishan nahin dekha, ya Rasul Allah!" Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya, "Mujhe Allah ke farishton se haya aati hai, lekin yeh haram nahin hai."
Umm Ayub narrated: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) visited us and we prepared some food for him which included some vegetables. He said to his companions, "Eat, for I am not like any of you. I fear that my Lord might harm me."
ام المؤمنین ام ایوب رضی اللہ عنہا بیان کرتی ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہمارے ہاں تشریف لائے تو ہم نے آپ کے لیے کھانا تیار کیا جس میں سبزی بھی تھی، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنے اصحاب سے فرمایا: "تم لوگ کھاؤ، میں تم میں سے کسی کی طرح نہیں ہوں، مجھے اپنے رب سے ڈر لگتا ہے کہ کہیں وہ مجھے نقصان نہ پہنچائے"۔
Umme-Moomineen Umme Ayoob Radi Allahu Anha bayan karti hain ke aik martaba Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam hamare han tashreef laaye to hum ne aap ke liye khana taiyar kya jis mein sabzi bhi thi, aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne apne ashaab se farmaya: "Tum log khao, mein tum mein se kisi ki tarah nahin hun, mujhe apne Rab se darr lagta hai ke kahin wo mujhe nuqsan na pahunchaye".
Jabir ibn Samurah reported: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was brought a dish of tharid (bread soup) containing garlic, but he did not eat from it and sent it to Abu Ayyub. Abu Ayyub used to place his hand where he saw the hand of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he placed his hand but when he did not see the trace of the hand of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he did not eat. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came and said to him, "I did not see your hand in it." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "It contains the smell of garlic and I have an angel with me."
جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ کے لیے لہسن والا ثرید (شوربہ روٹی) کا ایک برتن لایا گیا، لیکن آپ ﷺ نے اس میں سے نہ کھایا اور اسے ابو ایوب رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس بھیج دیا۔ ابو ایوب رضی اللہ عنہ اپنا ہاتھ وہیں رکھتے تھے جہاں وہ رسول اللہ ﷺ کا ہاتھ دیکھتے تھے، انہوں نے اپنا ہاتھ رکھا لیکن جب انہوں نے رسول اللہ ﷺ کے ہاتھ کا نشان نہ دیکھا تو انہوں نے نہ کھایا۔ رسول اللہ ﷺ تشریف لائے اور ان سے فرمایا، "میں نے اس میں تمہارا ہاتھ نہیں دیکھا۔" رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا، "اس میں لہسن کی بو ہے اور میرے ساتھ ایک فرشتہ ہے۔"
Jibir bin Samra Radi Allaho Anho se riwayat hai ke Rasool Allah Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ke liye lahsan wala sareed (shorba roti) ka ek bartan laya gaya, lekin aap Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne is mein se na khaya aur ise Abu Ayyub Radi Allaho Anho ke paas bhej diya. Abu Ayyub Radi Allaho Anho apna hath wahin rakhte thay jahan woh Rasool Allah Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ka hath dekhte thay, unhon ne apna hath rakha lekin jab unhon ne Rasool Allah Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ke hath ka nishan na dekha to unhon ne na khaya. Rasool Allah Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam tashreef laye aur un se farmaya, "main ne is mein tumhara hath nahin dekha." Rasool Allah Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne farmaya, "is mein lahsan ki bu hai aur mere sath ek farishta hai."
Al-Mughirah ibn Shu'bah narrated that he ate garlic, then went to the Prophet's mosque and found that the Prophet had already prayed one Rak'ah. When he stood up to offer his missed Rak'ah, the Prophet perceived the smell of garlic and said, "Whoever has eaten from this plant, let him not approach our mosque until its odor has disappeared." Al-Mughirah said, "When I finished the prayer, I went to him and said, 'O Messenger of Allah! I have an excuse.' So, he extended his hand to me, and I took it. By Allah, I found it soft and I put it in my sleeve up to my chest and found that he was wearing an amulet. Then he said, "You have an excuse."
مغیرہ بن شعبہؓ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ انہوں نے لہسن کھایا پھر مسجد نبویؐ میں داخل ہوئے تو نبی ﷺ نے ایک رکعت پڑھا لی تھی۔ جب مغیرہ اپنی قضا نماز کے لیے کھڑے ہوئے تو نبی ﷺ نے لہسن کی بو محسوس کی اور فرمایا، "جس نے اس پودے سے کھایا ہے وہ ہماری مسجد کے قریب نہ آئے یہاں تک کہ اس کی بو ختم ہو جائے"۔ مغیرہ نے کہا، "جب میں نماز سے فارغ ہوا تو میں ان کے پاس گیا اور کہا، 'یا رسول اللہ! میرے پاس عذر ہے۔' تو آپ ﷺ نے اپنا ہاتھ میری طرف بڑھایا، اور میں نے اسے تھام لیا۔ اللہ کی قسم، میں نے اسے نرم پایا اور میں نے اسے اپنے سینے تک اپنی آستین میں ڈال لیا اور میں نے محسوس کیا کہ آپ ﷺ نے ایک تعویذ پہنا ہوا ہے۔ پھر آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا، "تمہارے پاس عذر ہے۔"
Mugheerah bin Shubah bayan karte hain ke unhon ne lahsan khaya phir Masjid Nabvi mein daakhil hue to Nabi ne aik rakat parh li thi. Jab Mugheerah apni qaza namaz ke liye khare hue to Nabi ne lahsan ki boo mehsoos ki aur farmaya, "Jis ne is paude se khaya hai wo hamari masjid ke qareeb na aaye yahan tak ke us ki boo khatam ho jaye". Mugheerah ne kaha, "Jab main namaz se farigh hua to main un ke pass gaya aur kaha, 'Ya Rasulullah! Mere pass uzr hai.' To aap ne apna hath meri taraf barhaya, aur maine use thaam liya. Allah ki qasam, maine use narm paya aur maine use apne seene tak apni aastin mein daal liya aur maine mehsoos kiya ke aap ne aik taweez pehna hua hai. Phir aap ne farmaya, "Tumhare pass uzr hai."
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “By Him, in whose hand is my soul, I have thought of commanding that firewood be gathered, then I would command that the prayer be given and the call to prayer be given, then I would go to men who do not attend it and I would burn their houses upon them. By Him, in whose hand is my soul, if one of them knew that he would find a bone with good meat or two good shanks, he would attend the evening prayer.”
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اس ذات کی قسم جس کے ہاتھ میں میری جان ہے، میں نے سوچا ہے کہ لکڑیاں جمع کرنے کا حکم دوں، پھر نماز کا حکم دوں اور اقامت کہی جائے، پھر میں ان لوگوں کے پاس جاؤں جو اس میں شامل نہیں ہوتے اور ان کے گھروں کو ان پر جلا دوں۔ اس ذات کی قسم جس کے ہاتھ میں میری جان ہے، اگر ان میں سے کوئی جانتا کہ اسے ایک ہڈی ملے گی جس میں اچھا گوشت ہو یا دو اچھی نلیاں ہوں تو وہ عشاء کی نماز میں ضرور شریک ہوتا۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah RA se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah SAW ne farmaya: Iss Zaat ki qasam jis ke haath mein meri jaan hai, maine socha hai ki lakrian jama karne ka hukum dun, phir namaz ka hukum dun aur iqamat kahi jaye, phir main un logon ke paas jaun jo uss mein shamil nahin hote aur un ke gharon ko un par jala dun. Iss Zaat ki qasam jis ke haath mein meri jaan hai, agar un mein se koi janta ke use ek haddi milegi jiss mein achcha gosh ho ya do achchi naliyaan hon to woh Isha ki namaz mein zaroor sharik hota.
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet ﷺ said: "I intended to order a man to lead the people in prayer and then go to those who do not attend it and burn their houses over them." He meant the two prayers, Isha' (night) and Fajr (dawn).
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”میں نے ارادہ کیا تھا کہ میں ایک آدمی کو نماز پڑھانے کا حکم دوں اور پھر ان لوگوں کے پاس جاؤں جو نماز میں شریک نہیں ہوتے اور ان کے گھروں کو ان پر جلا دوں“ آپ کا اشارہ عشاء اور فجر کی نماز کی طرف تھا۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai keh Nabi Kareem sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: “mein ne irada kiya tha keh mein ek aadmi ko namaz parhane ka hukum dun aur phir un logon ke pass jaun jo namaz mein sharik nahi hote aur un ke gharon ko un par jala dun” Aap ka ishara Isha aur Fajar ki namaz ki taraf tha.
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, the heaviest prayers on the hypocrites are the evening prayer and the dawn prayer. If they knew what was in them, they would come to them even if they had to crawl. I have thought about ordering the prayer established and then telling a man to lead the people in prayer. Then, I would go out with men carrying bundles of wood to people who do not attend the prayer and burn their houses down around them with fire.”
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”منافقین پر سب سے بھاری نماز مغرب اور فجر کی نماز ہے اور اگر انہیں معلوم ہوتا کہ ان میں کیا فضیلت ہے تو وہ ان میں ضرور شریک ہوتے چاہے گھٹنوں کے بل ہی کیوں نہ آنا پڑے۔ اور میں نے ارادہ کر لیا ہے کہ نماز کا حکم دوں تو ایک آدمی کو امام بناؤں کہ لوگوں کو نماز پڑھائے اور پھر ان لوگوں کی طرف جاؤں جو نماز میں شریک نہیں ہوتے، ان پر لکڑیوں کے گٹھر رکھ کر ان کے گھروں کو ان پر جلا دوں“ ۔
Hazrat Abu Hurairah Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: “Munafiqeen par sab se bhari namaz Maghrib aur Fajr ki namaz hai aur agar unhen maloom hota ki in mein kya fazilat hai to woh in mein zaroor sharik hote chahe ghutnon ke bal hi kyon na aana parre. Aur maine irada kar liya hai ki namaz ka hukum dun to ek aadmi ko imam banaun ki logon ko namaz parrhaye aur phir un logon ki taraf jaun jo namaz mein sharik nahin hote, un par lakriyon ke gatthar rakh kar un ke gharon ko un par jala dun"
Narrated Nafi' on the authority of Ibn Umar:
“If we missed a person in the Fajr (dawn) or ‘Isha’ (night) prayer, we would inquire about him (from his family) assuming he might have been inflicted with some calamity.”
نبی کریم ﷺ کے آزاد کردہ غلام حضرت نافع رحمۃ اللہ علیہ حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت کرتے ہیں کہ: جب ہم فجر یا عشاء کی نماز میں کسی شخص کو نہ پاتے تو اس کی خیریت دریافت کرتے کہ کہیں اس پر کوئی مصیبت تو نہیں آ گئی۔
Nabi Kareem SAW ke azad karda ghulam Hazrat Nafeh rehmatullah alaih Hazrat Abdullah bin Umar radiallahu anhuma se riwayat karte hain ke: Jab hum Fajar ya Isha ki namaz mein kisi shakhs ko na pate to uski khair o afiyat دریافت karte ke kahin us par koi musibat to nahin aa gai.
Abu al-Ahwas said: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: "We used to consider a person, who did not attend the prayer, a hypocrite whose hypocrisy was well-known, or a sick person. But a sick person would (still manage to) walk between two persons (for support) to join the prayer." He (Abu al-Ahwas) also said: "Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) taught us the ways of guidance and among the ways of guidance is (to offer) prayer in the mosque where the Adhan for it is pronounced."
حضرت ابو الاحوص رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ہم ان لوگوں کو منافق سمجھتے تھے جن کی نفاق ظاہر ہو یا بیمار بیمار آدمی بھی دو آدمیوں کے سہارے چل کر نماز کے لیے آتا وہ یہ بھی کہتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ہمیں ہدایت کے راستے بتائے اور ہدایت کے راستوں میں سے ایک وہ مسجد ہے جہاں اذان دی جائے
Hazrat Abu Al Ahwas Radi Allaho Anhu kehte hain ki Rasool Allah Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya hum un logon ko munafiq samjhte the jin ki nifaaq zahir ho ya bimar bimar aadmi bhi do aadmiyon ke sahaare chal kar namaz ke liye aata woh ye bhi kehte hain ki Rasool Allah Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne hamen hidayat ke raste bataye aur hidayat ke raaston mein se ek woh masjid hai jahan azan di jaye
Ma'dan ibn Abi Talhah reported:
Abu al-Darda' asked me, "Where do you live?" I said, "In a village below Hims (Homs, Syria)." He said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say, 'There are no three people in a village or in the desert between whom the prayer is not established, but that Satan overpowers them. So upon you is the jama'ah (congregation), for indeed the wolf only eats the sheep that is separated (from the flock).'"
مدان بن ابی طلحہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ حضرت ابو الدرداء رضی اللہ عنہ نے مجھ سے پوچھا: تم کہاں رہتے ہو؟ میں نے کہا: حمص کے نیچے ایک گاؤں میں۔ انہوں نے کہا: میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ: "کوئی تین آدمی ایسے نہیں ہوتے جو کسی گاؤں یا صحرا میں ہوں اور ان میں نماز قائم نہ ہو رہی ہو مگر شیطان ان پر غالب آجاتا ہے۔ پس تم پر جماعت لازم ہے کیونکہ بھیڑیا اسی بکری کو کھاتا ہے جو ریوڑ سے الگ ہو۔"
Madan bin Abi Talha RA se riwayat hai ki Hazrat Abu Darda RA ne mujh se pucha: Tum kahan rehte ho? Maine kaha: Hums ke neeche ek gaon mein. Unhon ne kaha: Maine Rasul Allah SAW ko farmate hue suna hai ki: Koi teen aadmi aise nahi hote jo kisi gaon ya sahra mein hon aur un mein namaz qaim na ho rahi ho magar shaitan un per ghalib aa jata hai. Pas tum par jamaat lazim hai kyunki bhediya usi bakri ko khata hai jo rewar se alag ho.
