Narrated 'Arfaja ibn As'ad:
"His nose was cut off on the Day of the Dogs, so he got a nose of silver, and it became putrid, so the Prophet (ﷺ) ordered him to get a nose of gold."
حضرت عرفجہ بن اسعد رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ ان کی ناک یوم الکلب میں کٹ گئی تھی تو انہوں نے چاندی کی ناک لگوا لی پھر وہ بدبو دینے لگی تو نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے انہیں سونے کی ناک لگوانے کا حکم دیا
Hazrat Arfaja bin Asad Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki un ki naak Yom ul Kalb mein kat gayi thi to unhon ne chandi ki naak lagwa li phir woh badbu dene lagi to Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne unhen sone ki naak lagwane ka hukum diya
Narrated Makhramah ibn Buqair, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Naafi', who said: When the son of Umar used to clean himself after relieving himself, he would clean himself with stones that had not been used before and a piece of dried clay that he would throw away with the stones. Then he would say: “This is how the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to clean himself.”
مَخْرَمَۃُ بْنُ بُکَیْر اپنے والد سے روایت کرتے ہیں ، انہوں نے نافع سے ، انہوں نے کہا کہ حضرت عمر کے بیٹے جب قضائے حاجت سے فارغ ہوتے تو (استنجا کے لیے) ایسے پتھر لیتے جو پہلے استعمال نہ ہوئے ہوں اور ایک مٹی کا ڈھیلا لیتے جسے پتھروں سمیت پھینک دیتے اور کہتے کہ اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اس طرح استنجا فرماتے تھے ۔

'Abdullah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "He in whose heart there is an atom's weight of faith will not enter the Fire, and he in whose heart there is an atom's weight of pride will not enter Paradise." A man said: "O Messenger of Allah, a man loves that his clothes should be beautiful and his shoes should be beautiful." He said: "Verily, Allah is Beautiful and loves beauty. Pride is disdaining the truth and looking down upon the people."
عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ’’جس کے دل میں رائی کے دانے کے برابر بھی ایمان ہو گا وہ جہنم میں نہ جائے گا اور جس کے دل میں رائی کے دانے کے برابر بھی تکبر ہو گا وہ جنت میں داخل نہ ہو گا۔‘‘ ایک آدمی نے کہا: اللہ کے رسول! آدمی کو تو اچھے کپڑے اور اچھے جوتے پسند ہوتے ہیں۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ’’اللہ تعالیٰ خوبصورت ہے اور خوبصورتی کو پسند فرماتا ہے، تکبر یہ ہے کہ حق کو نہ مانے اور لوگوں کو حقیر سمجھے‘‘۔
Abdullah bin Masood razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: Jis ke dil mein rai ke daane ke barabar bhi imaan ho ga woh jahannam mein nah jaye ga aur jis ke dil mein rai ke daane ke barabar bhi takabbur ho ga woh jannat mein dakhil nah ho ga. Ek aadmi ne kaha: Allah ke Rasul! Aadmi ko to achhe kapde aur achhe joote pasand hote hain. Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: Allah ta'ala khoobsurat hai aur khoobsurti ko pasand farmata hai, takabbur yeh hai ki haq ko nah maane aur logon ko haqeer samjhe.
Abu Huraira reported: A man came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and said, “O Messenger of Allah, I love that camels should be superior for me and I do not like that anyone should surpass me in them, so is this pride?” The Prophet said, “No, rather pride means rejecting the truth and looking down on people.”
ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ ایک شخص نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا اور عرض کی کہ اللہ کے رسول ﷺ! مجھے اونٹوں میں فضیلت پسند ہے اور یہ ناگوار گزرتا ہے کہ کوئی مجھ پر اونٹوں کے اعتبار سے سبقت لے جائے تو کیا یہ غرور ہے؟ آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: نہیں، بلکہ غرور تو حق کو ٹھکرانا اور لوگوں کو حقیر سمجھنا ہے۔
Abu Hurairah razi Allah anhu ne bayan kya keh ek shakhs Nabi Kareem sallallahu alaihi wasallam ki khidmat mein hazir hua aur arz ki keh Allah ke Rasul sallallahu alaihi wasallam mujhe unton mein fazilat pasand hai aur yeh nagawar guzarta hai keh koi mujh par unton ke aetbar se sabqat le jaye to kya yeh ghurur hai Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya nahi balkeh ghurur to haq ko thukrana aur logon ko haqir samajhna hai
Abu Talha al-Ansari reported: I heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, say, “The angels do not enter a house in which there is a dog or an image.” I said, “I will go to Aisha and ask her about that.” I came to her and said, “Mother, this one told me that the Prophet said, ‘The angels do not enter a house in which there is an image or a dog.’ Did you hear the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, mention that?” She said, “No, but I will tell you what I saw him do. He went out on one of his military expeditions and I longed for his return. I took a tapestry and covered the doorway with it. When he came, I met him at the door and said, ‘Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah. Praise be to Allah, who has given you might, victory, and honor.’ He looked at the house and saw the tapestry in it, but he did not respond to me and I saw displeasure in his face. He pulled it down, tore it, or cut it, then he said, ‘Verily, Allah has not commanded us to clothe clay and stones with what He has provided us.’ ” Aisha said, “I tore it into two pieces and made them into two cushions, and he did not criticize me for it.”
ابو طلحہ انصاری رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ میں نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا: "فرشتے اس گھر میں داخل نہیں ہوتے جس میں کتا یا تصویر ہو۔" میں نے کہا: "میں عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے پاس جاؤں گا اور ان سے اس بارے میں پوچھوں گا۔" میں ان کے پاس آیا اور کہا: "ام المؤمنین! اس آدمی نے مجھے بتایا ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: 'فرشتے اس گھر میں داخل نہیں ہوتے جس میں تصویر یا کتا ہو۔' کیا آپ نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے؟" انہوں نے کہا: "نہیں، لیکن میں تمہیں بتاتی ہوں کہ میں نے انہیں کیا کرتے ہوئے دیکھا۔ وہ اپنی ایک فوجی مہم پر گئے اور میں ان کی واپسی کی خواہش رکھتی تھی۔ میں نے ایک چادر لی اور اس سے دروازے کو ڈھانپ دیا۔ جب وہ آئے تو میں ان سے دروازے پر ملی اور کہا: 'السلام علیکم ورحمۃ اللہ وبرکاتہ، اللہ کی حمد و ثنا ہو جس نے آپ کو قوت، فتح اور عزت عطا فرمائی۔' انہوں نے گھر کی طرف دیکھا اور اس میں چادر کو دیکھا، لیکن انہوں نے مجھے کوئی جواب نہیں دیا اور میں نے ان کے چہرے پر ناگواری دیکھی۔ انہوں نے اسے نیچے کھینچ لیا، پھاڑ دیا، یا کاٹ دیا، پھر فرمایا: 'بے شک اللہ نے ہمیں اس چیز سے مٹی اور پتھروں کو ڈھانپنے کا حکم نہیں دیا ہے جو اس نے ہمیں عطا فرمائی ہے۔'" عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے کہا: "میں نے اسے دو ٹکڑوں میں پھاڑ دیا اور ان سے دو تکیے بنا لیے، اور انہوں نے اس پر مجھے کوئی ملامت نہیں کی۔"
Abu Talha Ansari Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki maine Nabi Akram Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ko farmate huye suna: "Farishtey us ghar mein dakhil nahi hote jis mein kutta ya tasveer ho." Maine kaha: "Main Ayesha Radi Allahu Anha ke pass jaonga aur unse is bare mein puchhunga." Main unke pass aaya aur kaha: "Ummul Momineen! Is admi ne mujhe bataya hai ki Nabi Akram Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: 'Farishtey us ghar mein dakhil nahi hote jis mein tasveer ya kutta ho.' Kya aap ne Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ko ye farmate huye suna hai?" Unhon ne kaha: "Nahin, lekin main tumhen batati hun ki maine unhen kya karte huye dekha. Wo apni ek fauji mahim par gaye aur main unki wapsi ki khwahish rakhti thi. Maine ek chadar li aur us se darwaze ko dhanp diya. Jab wo aaye to main unse darwaze par mili aur kaha: 'Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh, Allah ki hamd o sana ho jisne aap ko quwwat, fatah aur izzat ata farmaayi.' Unhon ne ghar ki taraf dekha aur us mein chadar ko dekha, lekin unhon ne mujhe koi jawab nahi diya aur maine unke chehre par nagawari dekhi. Unhon ne use neeche khench liya, phaar diya, ya kaat diya, phir farmaya: 'Beshak Allah ne hamen is cheez se mitti aur pathron ko dhanpne ka hukm nahi diya hai jo usne hamen ata farmaayi hai.'" Ayesha Radi Allahu Anha ne kaha: "Maine use do tukron mein phaar diya aur un se do takiya bana liye, aur unhon ne is par mujhe koi malamat nahi ki."
Anas bin Malik narrated: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ arrived in Medina and the eldest amongst his companions was Abu Bakr. He applied henna and katam to his hair until it was black as a raven. When I went to him in the morning I said, 'It is completely black!'. He said, "I did not say black as a raven."
انَس بِن مَالِک رَضِیَ اللہُ عَنْہُ سے رِوَایت ہے کہ رَسُول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم مَدِینَہ تشریف لائے تو آپ کے صحابہ میں سَب سے زیادہ عُمْر شریف حضرت ابو بکر صدیق رضی اللہ عنہ کی تھی ۔ آپ نے مہندی اور کتم لگایا یہاں تک کہ آپ کے بال کوّے کے پَر کی طرح سیاہ ہو گئے ۔ میں صُبَح کے وقت آپ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا تو میں نے کہا بالکل سیاہ ہوگئے ہیں ۔ آپ نے فرمایا میں نے کوّے جیسا سیاہ نہیں کہا تھا ۔
Anas bin Malik radi Allahu anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam Madina tashreef laaye to aap ke sahaba mein sab se zyada umr sharif Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq radi Allahu anhu ki thi. Aap ne mehendi aur katm lagaya yahan tak ke aap ke baal kauwe ke par ki tarah siyah ho gaye. Main subah ke waqt aap ki khidmat mein hazir hua to main ne kaha bilkul siyah ho gaye hain. Aap ne farmaya main ne kauwe jaisa siyah nahin kaha tha.
Abu Huraira narrated that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "The Jews and Christians do not dye their hair, so differ from them."
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”یہودی اور عیسائی اپنے بالوں کو رنگ نہیں کرتے، لہٰذا تم ان سے مختلف رہو۔“
Hazrat Abu Hurairah razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: Yahudi aur Isai apne balon ko rang nahi karte, lihaza tum un se mukhtalif raho.
Jabir reported: Abu Quhafa was brought on the day of the conquest of Makkah and his head and beard were like white cotton. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Change his (hair) colour and avoid black."
جابر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ فتح مکہ کے دن ابو قحافہ رضی اللہ عنہ کو لایا گیا، ان کے سر اور داڑھی کے بال روئی کی طرح سفید ہو چکے تھے، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”ان کے بالوں کا رنگ تبدیل کرو اور سیاہ رنگ سے بچو۔“
Jibir Razi Allahu Anhu kahte hain ki Fath Makkah ke din Abu Quhafah Razi Allahu Anhu ko laya gaya, un ke sar aur darhi ke bal roi ki tarah safaid ho chuke thay, Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "In ke balon ka rang tabdeel karo aur siyah rang se bacho."
Anas bin Malik said:
Abu Bakr brought Abu Quhafah to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, on the Day of the Conquest of Mecca, and the Messenger of Allah said to Abu Bakr, “If you had left the old man in his house, we would have come to him out of respect for you.” He said, “He accepted Islam while his hair and beard were white like hyacinth.” The Messenger of Allah said, “Change them and avoid black.”
انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ابو بکر صدیق رضی اللہ عنہ فتح مکہ کے دن اپنے والد ابو قحافہ کو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں لائے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے حضرت ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ سے فرمایا اگر تم اس بوڑھے کو اس کے گھر ہی میں چھوڑ دیتے تو ہم تمہاری عزت کرتے ہوئے خود اس کے پاس چلے آتے، حضرت ابوبکر رضی اللہ عنہ نے عرض کیا کہ یہ ابھی اسلام لائے ہیں حالانکہ ان کے بال اور داڑھی سونف کی طرح سفید ہیں، رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا انہیں (یعنی بالوں کو) بدلو اور سیاہ رنگ سے بچو۔
Anas bin Malik razi Allah anhu kehte hain keh Abu Bakr Siddique razi Allah anhu Fath Makkah ke din apne walid Abu Qahafa ko Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ki khidmat mein laye to aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne Hazrat Abubakar razi Allah anhu se farmaya agar tum is budhe ko iske ghar hi mein chhor dete to hum tumhari izzat karte huye khud iske pass chale aate, Hazrat Abubakar razi Allah anhu ne arz kiya keh yeh abhi Islam laye hain halanke inke baal aur darhi sonaaf ki tarah safaid hain, Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya inhen (yani baalon ko) badlo aur siyah rang se bacho.
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Change this gray hair and do not imitate the Jews and Christians."
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”اپنے اس سفید بال کو تبدیل کرو اور یہودیوں اور عیسائیوں کی مشابہت اختیار نہ کرو۔“
Hazrat Abu Hurairah razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: Apne is safaid baal ko tabdeel karo aur yahudiyon aur eesaiyon ki mushabhat ikhtiyar na karo.
Abu Dharr reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "The best things with which you can change gray hair are henna and katam (a kind of plant)."
حضرت ابوذر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ’’تمہارے بالوں کو سیاہ کرنے کے لیے مہندی اور کتم سے بہتر کوئی چیز نہیں۔‘‘
Hazrat Abuzar Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: Tumhare balon ko siyah karne ke liye mehandi aur katam se behtar koi cheez nahi.
Abu Bakr Ibn Nafi' reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ordered keeping short the mustache and growing the beard.
ابو بکر بن نافع رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مونچھوں کو چھوٹا رکھنے اور داڑھی بڑھانے کا حکم دیا۔
Abu Bakr bin Nafi raza Allahu anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne moonchon ko chhota rakhne aur darhi barhane ka hukam diya
Ibn Umar narrated that: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) mentioned the fire worshippers and said, "Let your beards grow long and clip your moustaches short, and differ from the fire worshippers." So, Ibn Umar used to cut his moustache so short that the skin would show.
حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے آتش پرستوں کا ذکر کیا اور فرمایا کہ اپنی داڑھیاں بڑھاؤ اور مونچھیں چھوٹی کرو اور آتش پرستوں سے مختلف ہو جاؤ۔ چنانچہ حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہ اپنی مونچھیں اتنی چھوٹی کراتے تھے کہ جلد نظر آتی تھی۔
Hazrat Ibn Umar Radi Allahu Anhuma bayan karte hain ke Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne aatish paraston ka zikar kiya aur farmaya ke apni darhiyaan barhao aur moochhen chhoti karo aur aatish paraston se mukhtalif ho jao. Chunancha Hazrat Ibn Umar Radi Allahu Anhu apni moochhen itni chhoti karate the ke jild nazar aati thi.
Nafi' reported that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Among the natural instincts of human beings are: trimming the mustache, letting the beard grow, clipping the nails, and shaving the pubic hair."
نافع' نے بیان کیا کہ نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا، "فطرت (انسانی فطرت) میں سے یہ چیزیں ہیں: مونچھیں چھوٹا کرنا، داڑھی بڑھانا، ناخن تراشنا اور زیر ناف کے بال صاف کرنا"۔
Nafey nay bayan kiya keh Nabi sallallahu alaihi wasallam nay farmaya, "Fitrat (insani fitrat) mein se yeh cheezain hain: moochain chhota karna, daarhi barhana, nakhun tarashna aur zer e naaf ke baal saaf karna".
Abu Huraira reported that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Five acts are according to the fitra (natural disposition): circumcision, shaving the pubic hair, plucking the armpit hair, clipping the nails, and trimming the mustache."
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا "پانچ چیزیں فطرت ہیں: ختنہ کرنا، ناف کے نیچے کے بال صاف کرنا، بغل کے بال صاف کرنا، ناخن تراشنا اور مونچھیں چھوٹی کرنا"۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai keh Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya "Panch cheezen fitrat hain: Khatna karna, naaf ke neeche ke baal saaf karna, baghal ke baal saaf karna, nakhun tarashna aur moonchhen chhoti karna".
Narrated by Abu Huraira: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Five are the acts of Fitra: circumcision, shaving the pubic hair, clipping the nails, removing the hair under the armpits and trimming the mustache."
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”پانچ چیزیں فطرت ہیں: ختنہ کرنا، ناف کے نیچے کے بال صاف کرنا، ناخن تراشنا، بغل کے بال صاف کرنا اور مونچھیں چھوٹی کرنا۔“
Hazrat Abu Hurairah Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Panch cheezen fitrat hain: khatna karna, naaf ke neeche ke baal saaf karna, nakhun tarashna, baghal ke baal saaf karna aur moochhen chhoti karna."
Abu Huraira narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "The fitra are five: circumcision, shaving the pubic hair, clipping the nails, trimming the mustache, and plucking the hair under the arms."
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”فطرت پانچ چیزیں ہیں: ختنہ کرنا، ناف کے نیچے کے بال صاف کرنا، ناخن تراشنا، مونچھیں چھوٹی کرنا اور بغل کے بال اکھاڑنا۔“
Hazrat Abu Hurairah Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: "Fitrat panch cheezen hain: Khatna karna, naaf ke neeche ke baal saaf karna, nakhun tarashna, moochein chhoti karna aur baghal ke baal ukhaadna."
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet ﷺ said: "Five practices are characteristics of the Fitra: circumcision, shaving the pubic hair, plucking the hair under the armpits, clipping the nails and trimming the mustache."
حضرت ابو ہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا ”پانچ چیزیں فطرت ہیں: ختنہ کرنا، ناف کے نیچے کے بال صاف کرنا، بغل کے بال صاف کرنا، ناخن کاٹنا اور مونچھیں چھوٹی کرنا۔“

Hassan ibn Atiyya reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, visited us at our house and he saw a disheveled man. The Prophet said, "Could this man not find something to tame his hair?" And he saw a man wearing dirty clothes and he said, "Could this man not find something to wash his clothes?"
حسن بن عتیہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ہمارے گھر تشریف لائے تو آپ نے ایک شخص کو دیکھا جس کے بال بکھرے ہوئے تھے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ کیا اس شخص کو اپنے بال سنوارنے کو کچھ نہ مل سکا؟ پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک شخص کو دیکھا جس کے کپڑے میلے تھے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ کیا اس شخص کو اپنے کپڑے دھونے کو کچھ نہ مل سکا؟

Phir aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne ek shakhs ko dekha jis ke kapde maile the to aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya ki kya is shakhs ko apne kapde dhone ko kuch na mil saka?
Hisham reported on the authority of al-Hasan, on the authority of `Abdullah bin Mughaffal who said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) prohibited delaying the funeral prayer except in case of awaiting (more people).
حضرت ہشام رضی اللہ عنہ حضرت حسن بصری رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کرتے ہیں، انہوں نے حضرت عبداللہ بن مغفل رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت کی، کہا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے نماز جنازہ میں تاخیر کرنے سے منع فرمایا سوائے اس صورت کے کہ (لوگوں کے) انتظار میں ہو۔
Hazrat Hisham Radi Allahu Anhu Hazrat Hasan Basri Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat karte hain, unhon ne Hazrat Abdullah bin Mughaffal Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat ki, kaha Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne namaz janaza mein takheer karne se mana farmaya siwae is surat ke ke (logon ke) intezar mein ho.
Ibn Abbas narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to part his hair, and the polytheists used to shave their heads, and the People of the Book used to part their hair, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ loved to agree with the People of the Book in matters that were not forbidden to him. So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ parted his hair.
حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اپنی کنگھی سر کے بیچ سے کرتے تھے اور مشرکین اپنا سر منڈواتے تھے اور اہل کتاب اپنی مانگ نکالتے تھے اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو اہل کتاب کے ساتھ ان باتوں میں موافقت کرنا محبوب تھا جن میں آپ پر کوئی پابندی نہ ہو تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اپنی مانگ نکالنے لگے
Hazrat Ibn Abbas Raziallahu Anhuma se riwayat hai ki Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam apni kanghi sar ke beech se karte thay aur mushrikeen apna sar mundwate thay aur ahle kitaab apni mang nikalwate thay aur Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ko ahle kitaab ke sath in baaton mein muwafqat karna mahboob tha jin mein aap par koi pabandi na ho to Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam apni mang nikalne lage
Amru bin al-Harith narrated that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to forbid his family from wearing adornments and silk, and he would say: "If you love the adornment of Paradise and its silk, then do not wear it in this world."
حضرت عمرو بن حارث رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ اپنے گھر والوں کو زیورات اور ریشم پہننے سے منع فرماتے تھے اور فرماتے تھے کہ "اگر تم جنت کے زیور اور اس کے ریشم سے محبت کرتے ہو تو اسے دنیا میں نہ پہنو۔"
Hazrat Amr bin Harith Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam apne ghar walon ko zewarat aur resham pehenne se mana farmate thy aur farmate thy ki "Agar tum jannat ke zewar aur uske resham se mohabbat karte ho to use duniya mein na pehno."
Narrated Abu Burdah's father: A man came to the Prophet ﷺ wearing an iron ring. The Prophet ﷺ said, "What is this? I see on you the adornment of the people of Hell!" The man threw it away. Then he came wearing a ring made of yellow copper, and the Prophet ﷺ said, "What is this? I smell on you the stench of idols!" The man asked, "O Messenger of Allah, what should I wear then?" He ﷺ said, "Wear something made of silver, but do not let it exceed the weight of a Mithqal."
ابو بردہ کے والد رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ ایک شخص لوہے کی انگوٹھی پہنے ہوئے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”یہ کیا ہے؟ میں تم پر جہنمیوں کی زینت دیکھ رہا ہوں!“ وہ شخص اسے پھینک کر چلا گیا پھر وہ پیلی تانبے کی انگوٹھی پہن کر آیا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”یہ کیا ہے؟ میں تم سے بتوں کی بو পাচ্ছি!“ اس نے عرض کیا: ”اللہ کے رسول! پھر میں کیا پہنو؟“ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”چاندی کی انگوٹھی پہنو لیکن اس کا وزن ایک مثقال سے زیادہ نہ ہو۔“
Abu Burdah ke walid razi Allah anhu se riwayat hai ki ek shakhs lohay ki anguthi pehne huye Nabi Kareem sallallahu alaihi wasallam ki khidmat mein hazir hua to aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "Yeh kya hai? Main tum par jahanmiyon ki zeenat dekh raha hun!" Woh shakhs use phenk kar chala gaya phir woh peeli tambay ki anguthi pehen kar aaya to aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "Yeh kya hai? Main tum se buton ki boo paa raha hun!" Us ne arz kiya: "Allah ke Rasool! Phir main kya pehnu?" Aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne farmaya: "Chandi ki anguthi pehnu lekin is ka wazan ek misqal se zyada na ho."
Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri narrated that a man came from Najran to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, while he was wearing a ring of gold. So the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, turned away from him and did not ask him about anything. The man returned to his wife and told her about it. She said, "You have a need, so go back to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and take off the ring." When he asked for permission, he was granted it. He greeted the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and the Prophet returned his greeting. The man said, "O Messenger of Allah, you turned away from me." The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "You came to me while you had an ember of fire in your hand." The man said, "O Messenger of Allah, I have indeed come with many embers!" He had brought with him jewelry from Bahrain. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "You have not brought anything that will benefit us, except what the stones of Harrah can provide. However, it is an adornment of worldly life." The man said, "Excuse me to your companions so they do not think you were angry with me for something." So the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, stood up and excused him and informed them that what he did was only because of his ring.
حضرت ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ نجران سے ایک شخص رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا، اس حال میں کہ اس نے سونے کی انگوٹھی پہن رکھی تھی۔ تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس سے منہ پھیر لیا اور نہ ہی اس سے کوئی بات پوچھی۔ وہ شخص اپنی بیوی کے پاس واپس آیا اور اسے سارا ماجرا سنایا۔ اس کی بیوی نے کہا، "تمہیں ضرورت ہے، لہذا رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں دوبارہ جاؤ اور انگوٹھی اتار دو"۔ جب اس نے اجازت طلب کی تو اسے اجازت مل گئی۔ وہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس آیا اور سلام کیا، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اس کا جواب دیا۔ اس شخص نے کہا، "اے اللہ کے رسول! آپ نے مجھ سے منہ کیوں پھیر لیا تھا؟" رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا، "تم میرے پاس اس حال میں آئے تھے کہ تمہارے ہاتھ میں آگ کا انگارہ تھا۔" اس شخص نے کہا، "اے اللہ کے رسول! میں تو بہت سے انگارے لے کر آیا ہوں!" وہ اپنے ساتھ بحرین کے بہت سے زیورات لایا تھا۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا، "تم ایسی کوئی چیز نہیں لائے جو ہمارے لیے فائدہ مند ہو، سوائے اس کے جو کہ "حرہ" کے پتھر فراہم کر سکتے ہیں۔ البتہ، یہ دنیا کی زندگی کی زینت ہے۔" اس شخص نے کہا، "مجھے آپ کے ساتھیوں سے معافی مانگنے کی اجازت دیں تاکہ وہ یہ نہ سوچیں کہ آپ مجھ سے کسی بات پر ناراض تھے۔" چنانچہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کھڑے ہوئے اور اسے معاف کیا اور لوگوں کو بتایا کہ آپ نے ایسا صرف اس کی انگوٹھی کی وجہ سے کیا تھا۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri Razi Allah Anhu bayan karte hain keh Najran se aik shakhs Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ki khidmat mein hazir hua, iss haal mein keh usne sone ki angoothi pehen rakhi thi. To Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne us se munh phair liya aur na hi us se koi baat poochhi. Woh shakhs apni biwi ke paas wapas aaya aur usay sara majra sunaya. Uski biwi ne kaha, "Tumhein zaroorat hai, lihaza Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ki khidmat mein dobara jao aur angoothi utar do". Jab usne ijazat talab ki to usay ijazat mil gayi. Woh Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ke paas aaya aur salam kiya, Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne uska jawab diya. Iss shakhs ne kaha, "Aye Allah ke Rasul! Aap ne mujh se munh kyun phair liya tha?" Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya, "Tum mere paas iss haal mein aaye thay keh tumhare haath mein aag ka angara tha." Iss shakhs ne kaha, "Aye Allah ke Rasul! Mein to bahut se angare le kar aaya hun!" Woh apne saath Bahrain ke bahut se zewarat laya tha. Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya, "Tum aisi koi cheez nahin laaye jo humare liye faida mand ho, siwaye uske jo keh "Harrah" ke pathar faraham kar sakte hain. Albata, yeh duniya ki zindagi ki zeenat hai." Iss shakhs ne kaha, "Mujhe aap ke saathiyon se maafi mangne ki ijazat dein taakeh woh yeh na sochein keh aap mujh se kisi baat par naraaz thay." Chunache Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam kharay huay aur usay maaf kiya aur logon ko bataya keh aap ne aisa sirf uski angoothi ki wajah se kiya tha.
Anas bin Malik said: I saw the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) wearing a ring made of silver once, so the people started wearing silver rings. Then the Prophet (ﷺ) took off his ring, and the people also took off their rings.
حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو ایک بار چاندی کی انگوٹھی پہنے ہوئے دیکھا تو لوگ بھی چاندی کی انگوٹھیاں پہننے لگے، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنی انگوٹھی اتار دی تو لوگوں نے بھی اپنی انگوٹھیاں اتار دیں۔
Hazrat Anas bin Malik Radi Allahu Anhu kehte hain ki maine Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ko ek baar chandi ki angoothi pehne hue dekha to log bhi chandi ki angoothiyan pehenne lage, phir Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne apni angoothi utaar di to logon ne bhi apni angoothiyan utaar din.
Ibn Umar said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) acquired a gold ring and wore it. Then the people acquired gold rings. So the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) stood up and said: "I wore this ring, but I will never wear it again," and he threw it away. So the people threw away their rings.
حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے سونے کی انگوٹھی بنوائی اور اسے پہن لیا۔ پھر لوگوں نے بھی سونے کی انگوٹھیاں بنوا لیں۔ تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کھڑے ہو کر فرمایا کہ ”میں نے یہ انگوٹھی پہنی تھی لیکن اب میں اسے کبھی نہیں پہنوں گا“۔ اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اسے پھینک دیا۔ تو لوگوں نے بھی اپنی انگوٹھیاں پھینک دیں۔
Hazrat Ibn Umar Radi Allahu Anhuma se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne sone ki anguthi banwai aur use pehen liya phir logon ne bhi sone ki anguthiyan banwa lin to Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne kharay ho kar farmaya ki main ne ye anguthi pahni thi lekin ab main ise kabhi nahin pahnoon ga aur aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne use phenk diya to logon ne bhi apni anguthiyan phenk din
Ziyad ibn Sa'd narrated that Ibn Shihab informed him that Anas ibn Malik said, "I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, one day with a gold ring in his hand, so the people rushed to get rings. He threw it away and said, 'I will never wear it.'"
زیاد بن سعد بیان کرتے ہیں کہ ابن شہاب نے انہیں خبر دی کہ انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ "میں نے ایک دن رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو دیکھا کہ آپ کے ہاتھ میں سونے کی انگوٹھی تھی، تو لوگ جلدی جلدی انگوٹھیاں بنوانے لگے۔ آپ نے اسے پھینک دیا اور فرمایا: "میں اسے کبھی نہیں پہنو گا۔"
Ziyad bin Saad bayan karte hain ki Ibn Shahab ne unhen khabar di ki Anas bin Malik Radi Allaho Anho ne kaha ki "main ne aik din Rasool Allah Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ko dekha ki aap ke hath mein sone ki anguthi thi, to log jaldi jaldi anguthiyan banwane lage. Aap ne ise phenk diya aur farmaya: "main ise kabhi nahin pahnunga."
Ibn Abbas narrated that: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) took a ring and wore it. He (ﷺ) then said, "This has kept me busy from you since today," and then threw it away.
حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما بیان کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک انگوٹھی لی اور اسے پہن لیا، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ یہ انگوٹھی آج سے مجھے تم سے غافل رکھے ہوئے تھی، پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اسے پھینک دیا۔
Hazrat Ibn Abbas Raziallahu Anhuma bayan karte hain keh Rasool Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne ek anguthi li aur use pehen liya, phir Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya keh yeh anguthi aaj se mujhe tum se ghaafil rakhe huye thi, phir Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne use phenk diya.
Narrated Ibn Umar:
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ got a ring of gold made and wore it. The people also got rings of gold made (and wore them). He then took it off his hand and said, "I shall never wear this." He then got a ring made of silver and had its stone set towards the inner side of his palm, and engraved on it, 'Muhammad, Messenger of Allah.' He kept wearing it till his death.
رضی اللہ عنہ ابن عمر سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے سونے کی ایک انگوٹھی بنوائی اور پہن لی، لوگوں نے بھی سونے کی انگوٹھیاں بنوائیں (اور پہن لیں)۔ پھر آپ ﷺ نے اسے اپنے ہاتھ سے اتار دیا اور فرمایا: ''میں یہ کبھی نہیں پہنوں گا''۔ پھر آپ ﷺ نے چاندی کی انگوٹھی بنوائی اور اس کے نگینے کو اپنی ہتھیلی کی طرف رکھوایا اور اس پر ''محمد رسول اللہ'' کندہ کروایا اور آپ ﷺ اسے اپنی وفات تک پہنتے رہے۔
Rizu Allah anhu Ibn Umar se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah SAW ne sone ki ek anguthi banwai aur pehen li, logon ne bhi sone ki anguthiyan banwayen (aur pehen len). Phir aap SAW ne use apne hath se utar diya aur farmaya: ''Main yeh kabhi nahi pehnon ga''. Phir aap SAW ne chandi ki anguthi banwai aur uske nagine ko apni hatheli ki taraf rakhwaya aur us par ''Muhammad Rasul Allah'' kandha karwaya aur aap SAW use apni wafat tak pehente rahe.
Narrated Ibn Umar: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) acquired a ring made of gold, and he would wear it with its stone on the palm of his hand. The people also acquired rings (of gold). So the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) took it off, saying, "I will never wear it." Then he acquired a ring of silver, and it was in his hand, then in the hand of Abu Bakr, then in the hand of Umar, then in the hand of Uthman, until it fell from him in the well of Aris.
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے سونے کی انگوٹھی بنوائی اور اسے ہتھیلی کی طرف نگینہ کر کے پہنا، پھر لوگوں نے بھی (سونے کی) انگوٹھیاں بنوائیں تو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اسے اتار کر فرمایا، ”میں اسے کبھی نہیں پہنوں گا۔“ پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے چاندی کی انگوٹھی بنوائی وہ آپ کے ہاتھ میں رہی پھر ابوبکر کے ہاتھ میں رہی، پھر عمر کے ہاتھ میں رہی، پھر عثمان کے ہاتھ میں رہی، یہاں تک کہ وہ ان سے آریس کے کنویں میں گر گئی۔
Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne sone ki anguthi banwai aur use hatheli ki taraf nageena kar ke pehna, phir logon ne bhi (sone ki) anguthian banwain to Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne use utar kar farmaya, ”main ise kabhi nahin pehnoon ga“ Phir aap sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne chandi ki anguthi banwai woh aap ke hath mein rahi phir Abubakar ke hath mein rahi, phir Umar ke hath mein rahi, phir Usman ke hath mein rahi, yahan tak ke woh un se Aaris ke kunwein mein gir gai.
Narrated Anas bin Malik: The seal of the Prophet (ﷺ) had three lines: Muhammad (was) on one line, Rasul (was) on another line and Allah (was) on the (third) line.
حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی مہر مبارک پر تین سطریں تھیں: ایک سطر پر محمد، دوسری سطر پر رسول اور تیسری سطر پر اللہ لکھا ہوا تھا۔
Hazrat Anas bin Malik Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ke Nabi Kareem SallAllahu Alaihi Wasallam ki mehr mubarak par teen satrain thin: aik satar par Muhammad, dusri satar par Rasul aur teesri satar par Allah likha hua tha.
Anas ibn Malik narrated that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Verily, I wanted to use a seal, but then I said no, for it is a seal of Allah."
حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ میں مہر (استعمال کرنے) کا ارادہ کیا کرتا تھا پھر میں نے کہا کہ نہیں کیونکہ مہر تو اللہ کی مہر ہے ۔
Hazrat Anas bin Malik Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya ki main mehr (istemal karne) ka irada kiya karta tha phir maine kaha ki nahi kyunki mehr to Allah ki mehr hai
Anas bin Malik narrated that:
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ engraved a ring and said: "We engraved a ring and engraved a carving on it, so let no one carve on it."
حضرت انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایک انگوٹھی بنوائی اور اس پر نقش کیا اور فرمایا کہ ہم نے انگوٹھی بنوائی اور اس پر نقش کیا تو کوئی اور اس پر نقش نہ کروائے۔
Hazrat Anas bin Malik Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne ek anguthi banwai aur is par naqsh kiya aur farmaya ki humne anguthi banwai aur is par naqsh kiya to koi aur is par naqsh na karwaye
Narrated Nafi' : that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) acquired a ring made of gold and wore it on his right hand, he made its bezel face the inside of his palm, then he threw it away and acquired a ring made of silver.
نبی کریم ﷺ نے سونے کی انگوٹھی بنوائی اور اسے اپنے دہنے ہاتھ میں پہن لیا، آپ ﷺ نے اس کا نگینہ ہتھیلی کی طرف کر لیا، پھر آپ ﷺ نے اسے پھینک دیا اور چاندی کی انگوٹھی بنوا لی۔
Nabi Kareem SAW ne sone ki anguthi banwai aur use apne dahine hath mein pehen liya, Aap SAW ne uska nageena hatheli ki taraf kar liya, phir Aap SAW ne use phenk diya aur chandi ki anguthi banwa li.
Narrated Ibn Umar: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) acquired a ring made of gold, and he would wear its stone on the palm of his hand. So the people acquired rings of gold. Then the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) threw it aside one day, so the people threw aside their rings. Then he acquired a ring of silver, and he would stamp with it, but not wear it.
حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے سونے کی انگوٹھی بنوائی اور اس کے نگینے کو اپنے ہتھیلی کی طرف رکھا کرتے تھے۔ چنانچہ لوگوں نے بھی سونے کی انگوٹھیاں بنوا لیں۔ پھر ایک دن رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اسے پھینک دیا تو لوگوں نے بھی اپنی اپنی انگوٹھیاں پھینک دیں۔ پھر آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے چاندی کی انگوٹھی بنوائی اور اس پر مہر لگاتے تھے لیکن پہنتے نہیں تھے۔
Hazrat Ibn Umar Radi Allahu Anhuma se riwayat hai ki Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne sone ki angoothi banwai aur uske nagenay ko apne hatheli ki taraf rakha karte thay. Chunache logon ne bhi sone ki angoothian banwa lin. Phir ek din Rasul Allah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne use phenk diya to logon ne bhi apni apni angoothian phenk din. Phir Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne chandi ki angoothi banwai aur us par mohar lagate thay lekin pehente nahi thay.
Narrated Ali: The Prophet ﷺ forbade Qassi and Mithara and he forbade Khatam in the beard and Wasta.
حضرت علی رضى اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے قاسی اور مثارہ سے منع فرمایا اور آپ نے داڑھی میں خطم کرنے اور واسطہ سے منع فرمایا۔
Hazrat Ali Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ke Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne qasi aur miswarah se mana farmaya aur aap ne darhi mein khitm karne aur wasita se mana farmaya
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The evil eye is real." And he forbade tattooing.
حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا نظر بد حق ہے۔ اور آپ نے گودنے سے منع فرمایا۔
Hazrat Abu Huraira Radi Allahu Anhu se riwayat hai ke Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya nazar bad haq hai aur aap ne godne se mana farmaya
Alqama reported: A woman from Banu Asad came to Ibn Mas'ud and said, "I have been told that you say: 'Cursed are the women who tattoo and those who get themselves tattooed, those who pluck hair from their faces and those who get their hair plucked.' I have read what is between the two covers (the Quran) and I do not find in it what you say." He said, "You have surely found it, but you do not know! Haven't you read: 'And whatsoever the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) gives you, take it; and whatsoever he forbids you, abstain (from it).' " She said, "Yes (I have read it)." He said, "That is it." She said, "But I see some of those things with your family." He said, "Enter and see." She went in to see, but could not find anything (objectionable). Abdullah (Ibn Mas'ud) said to her, "Did you see anything?" She said, "No." Abdullah said, "Had you seen anything of that sort, you would not have accompanied me (as my wife).
علقمہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ بیان کرتے ہیں کہ ایک عادی عورت ابن مسعود رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کے پاس آئی اور کہنے لگی: "مجھے بتایا گیا ہے کہ آپ کہتے ہیں کہ 'لعنت ہو ان عورتوں پر جو گودتی ہیں اور جو گدواتی ہیں، جو اپنے چہرے کے بال اکھاڑتی ہیں اور جو اپنے بال اکھوا تی ہیں۔' میں نے (قرآن مجید) کا مطالعہ کیا ہے اور مجھے اس میں وہ نہیں ملا جو آپ کہتے ہیں۔" انہوں نے کہا: "تم نے یقینی طور پر اسے پا لیا ہے، لیکن تم نہیں جانتیں! کیا تم نے نہیں پڑھا: 'اور رسول (محمد صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) تمہیں جو کچھ دیں وہ لے لو اور جس چیز سے وہ تمہیں منع کریں اس سے باز رہو۔' " اس نے کہا: "ہاں (میں نے پڑھا ہے)"۔ انہوں نے کہا: "یہی تو ہے۔" اس نے کہا: "لیکن میں آپ کے گھر والوں کے ساتھ ان چیزوں میں سے کچھ دیکھتی ہوں۔" انہوں نے کہا: "اندر جاؤ اور دیکھو۔" وہ دیکھنے کے لیے اندر گئی، لیکن اسے کچھ بھی (قابل اعتراض) نہ ملا۔ عبداللہ (ابن مسعود) نے اس سے کہا: "کیا تم نے کچھ دیکھا؟" اس نے کہا: "نہیں"۔ عبداللہ نے کہا: "اگر تم نے ایسی کوئی چیز دیکھی ہوتی تو تم میرے ساتھ (میری بیوی کی حیثیت سے) نہ ہوتیں۔"
Alqama razi Allah tala anha bayan karte hain ke ek aadi aurat Ibn Masood razi Allah tala anha ke paas aai aur kahne lagi: "Mujhe bataya gaya hai ke aap kahte hain ke 'Lanat ho un auraton par jo godti hain aur jo godwati hain, jo apne chehre ke baal akhaadti hain aur jo apne baal akhwaati hain.' Main ne (Quran Majeed) ka mutala kia hai aur mujhe is mein woh nahin mila jo aap kahte hain." Unhon ne kaha: "Tum ne yaqeeni taur per ise paa lia hai, lekin tum nahin janti! Kia tum ne nahin parha: 'Aur Rasool (Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam) tumhen jo kuchh dein woh le lo aur jis cheez se woh tumhen mana karein is se baaz raho.' " Is ne kaha: "Haan (main ne parha hai)". Unhon ne kaha: "Yahi to hai." Is ne kaha: "Lekin main aap ke ghar walon ke saath in cheezon mein se kuchh dekhti hun." Unhon ne kaha: "Andar jao aur dekho." Woh dekhne ke liye andar gai, lekin use kuchh bhi (qabil e taraaz) na mila. Abdullah (Ibn Masood) ne is se kaha: "Kia tum ne kuchh dekha?" Is ne kaha: "Nahin". Abdullah ne kaha: "Agar tum ne aisi koi cheez dekhi hoti to tum mere saath (meri biwi ki haisiyat se) na hoti".
`Abdullah narrated that: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) cursed those women who practice tattooing and those who get themselves tattooed, and those who remove their face hairs, and those who create a space between their teeth artificially to look beautiful, (and such women as) change the features created by Allah."
A woman from Bani Asad who used to recite the Qur'an, heard about that. She came to `Abdullah and said, "A narration has reached me that you curse those women who practice tattooing and those who get themselves tattooed, and those who remove their face hairs, and those who create a space between their teeth artificially to look beautiful, (and such women as) change the features created by Allah."
`Abdullah said, "Why should I not curse those whom Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) cursed and who are (cursed) in Allah's Book?"
The woman said, "I have read the whole Qur'an, but I did not find what you say." He said, "Verily, if you have read it, you have found it, (2:285) 'And whatsoever the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) gives you, take it, and whatsoever he forbids you, abstain (from it)."
The woman said, "But I see some of these things you have mentioned on your wife!" He said, "Go and see her." So she went and saw nothing on her. She returned to `Abdullah and said, "I have seen nothing on her." He said, "Had that been on her, (according to my statement), I would not have been completely intimate with her.
عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ایسی عورتوں پر لعنت فرمائی جو گودتی ہیں اور جو اپنے آپ کو گدواتی ہیں اور جو اپنے چہرے کے بال اکھڑواتی ہیں اور جو اپنے دانتوں کے درمیان بناوٹ کرکے خوبصورت بنتی ہیں، (اور ایسی عورتیں جو) اللہ کی بنائی ہوئی شکل کو تبدیل کردیتی ہیں۔"
ایک عورت بنی اسد سے، جو قرآن مجید پڑھتی تھیں، نے یہ سنا تو وہ عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس آئیں اور کہنے لگیں، "میرے پاس ایک روایت پہنچی ہے کہ آپ ان عورتوں پر لعنت کرتے ہیں جو گودتی ہیں اور جو اپنے آپ کو گدواتی ہیں اور جو اپنے چہرے کے بال اکھڑواتی ہیں اور جو اپنے دانتوں کے درمیان بناوٹ کرکے خوبصورت بنتی ہیں، (اور ایسی عورتیں جو) اللہ کی بنائی ہوئی شکل کو تبدیل کردیتی ہیں۔"
عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا، "میں کیوں نہ لعنت کروں ان پر جن پر اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے لعنت فرمائی ہے اور جو اللہ کی کتاب میں (لعنت زدہ) ہیں۔"
وہ عورت کہنے لگی، "میں نے تو سارا قرآن پڑھ لیا ہے لیکن آپ جو کہہ رہے ہیں وہ مجھے نہیں ملا۔" انہوں نے کہا، "اگر تم نے (غور سے) پڑھا ہوتا تو تمہیں ضرور مل جاتا، (سورۃ البقرۃ: 285) 'اور جو کچھ رسول تمہیں دیں وہ لے لو اور جس سے وہ تمہیں منع کریں اس سے باز رہو۔"
وہ عورت کہنے لگی، "لیکن میں تو یہ چیزیں جو آپ نے بیان کی ہیں آپ کی اپنی بیوی میں دیکھتی ہوں!" انہوں نے کہا، "جاؤ اور خود دیکھ لو۔" چنانچہ وہ گئیں اور انہوں نے ان کی بیوی میں کچھ بھی نہ دیکھا۔ وہ واپس عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس آئیں اور کہنے لگیں، "میں نے تو کچھ بھی نہیں دیکھا۔" انہوں نے کہا، "اگر ایسا ہوتا جیسا کہ تم کہہ رہی ہو تو میں ان سے مکمل طور پر ہمبستری نہ کرتا۔"
Abdullah raza Allah anhu se riwayat hai ke Rasool Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne aisi auraton per lanat farmai jo godti hain aur jo apne aap ko gudwati hain aur jo apne chehre ke baal ukhrawati hain aur jo apne danton ke darmiyan banawat kar ke khoobsurat banti hain, (aur aisi auraten jo) Allah ki banai hui shakal ko tabdeel kar deti hain.
Ek aurat Bani Asad se, jo Quran Majeed parhti thin, ne ye suna to woh Abdullah raza Allah anhu ke pass aayin aur kehne lagin, "Mere pass ek riwayat pahunchi hai ke aap un auraton per lanat karte hain jo godti hain aur jo apne aap ko gudwati hain aur jo apne chehre ke baal ukhrawati hain aur jo apne danton ke darmiyan banawat kar ke khoobsurat banti hain, (aur aisi auraten jo) Allah ki banai hui shakal ko tabdeel kar deti hain."
Abdullah raza Allah anhu ne kaha, "Main kyun na lanat karoon un per jin per Allah ke Rasool sallallahu alaihi wasallam ne lanat farmai hai aur jo Allah ki kitab mein (lanat zada) hain."
Woh aurat kehne lagin, "Main ne to sara Quran parh liya hai lekin aap jo keh rahe hain woh mujhe nahin mila." Unhon ne kaha, "Agar tum ne (ghor se) parhha hota to tumhen zaroor mil jata, (Surat al-Baqarah: 285) 'Aur jo kuchh Rasool tumhen den woh le lo aur jis se woh tumhen mana karen us se baz raho."
Woh aurat kehne lagin, "Lekin main to ye cheezen jo aap ne bayan ki hain aap ki apni biwi mein dekhti hoon!" Unhon ne kaha, "Jao aur khud dekh lo." Chunancha woh gayin aur unhon ne un ki biwi mein kuchh bhi na dekha. Woh wapas Abdullah raza Allah anhu ke pass aayin aur kehne lagin, "Main ne to kuchh bhi nahin dekha." Unhon ne kaha, "Agar aisa hota jaisa ke tum keh rahi ho to main un se mukammal tor per humbistari na karta."
'Ubayd Allah (Ibn Umar) reported that Umar bin Nafi' informed him that Nafi' heard Ibn 'Umar saying: I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) forbidding Qaza'. I said: What is Qaza'? 'Ubayd Allah beckoned towards us and said: When a boy is shaved, leaving hair here and there." 'Ubayd Allah beckoned towards his forelock and the sides of his head. It was said to 'Ubayd Allah: (Is it) the slave girl and the slave? Thereupon he said: I do not know, that is how he ('Umar bin Nafi) said.
عُبَیْدُ اللّٰہِ (یعنی ابنِ عمر) نے بیان کیا کہ عمر بنِ نافع نے مجھ سے بیان کیا کہ نافع نے ابنِ عمر سے سنا، وہ فرماتے تھے کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو ”قَزَع“ سے منع فرماتے ہوئے سُنا۔ میں نے کہا کہ ”قَزَع“ کیا ہے؟ تو عُبَیْدُ اللّٰہِ نے اپنا ہاتھ ہماری طرف کیا اور فرمایا کہ لڑکے کے سر کے بعض حصے کے بال مُنڈوا دیں اور بعض حصے کے چھوڑ دیں۔ پھر عُبَیْدُ اللّٰہِ نے اپنی پیشانی اور اپنے سر کے دونوں طرف (کنپٹیوں) کی طرف اشارہ کیا۔ عُبَیْدُ اللّٰہِ سے کہا گیا کہ کیا آپ کا مطلب لونڈی اور غلام ہے؟ تو آپ نے فرمایا کہ مجھے نہیں معلوم، انہوں نے (یعنی عمر بنِ نافع نے) ایسا ہی بیان کیا ہے۔
Ubaidullah yani Ibne Umar ne bayan kiya ki Umar bin Nafi ne mujh se bayan kiya ki Nafi ne Ibne Umar se suna woh farmate the ki maine Rasulullah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ko qaza se mana farmate hue suna maine kaha ki qaza kya hai to Ubaidullah ne apna hath hamari taraf kiya aur farmaya ki ladke ke sar ke baaz hisse ke baal mundwa den aur baaz hisse ke chhor den phir Ubaidullah ne apni peshani aur apne sar ke dono taraf kanpatiyon ki taraf ishara kiya Ubaidullah se kaha gaya ki kya aapka matlab laundi aur ghulam hai to aap ne farmaya ki mujhe nahin maloom unhon ne yani Umar bin Nafi ne aisa hi bayan kiya hai
Narrated by Ibn Umar, that the Prophet ﷺ prohibited the Qaza' (a style of shaving the head) in which the head of a child is shaved, leaving some hair and shaving other parts.
حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے قزع کرنے سے منع فرمایا ہے اور قزع کا یہ طریقہ ہے کہ بچے کے سر کے کچھ بال صاف کر دیے جائیں اور کچھ چھوڑ دیے جائیں۔
Hazrat Ibn Umar Radi Allahu Anhuma se riwayat hai keh Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne qaza karne se mana farmaya hai aur qaza ka yeh tareeqa hai keh bachay ke sar ke kuch baal saaf kar diye jaien aur kuch chhor diye jaien.
Narrated Ibn Umar: The Prophet ﷺ saw a boy, part of whose head was shaved and part of it was left. He forbade them from doing this and said: “Shave it all or leave it all.”
حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ایک لڑکا دیکھا جس کے سر کے بعض حصے کے بال منڈوائے گئے تھے اور بعض حصے کے چھوڑ دیے گئے تھے تو آپ ﷺ نے ایسا کرنے سے منع فرمایا اور کہا: ”یا تو سارا سر منڈوا دو یا پھر سارا چھوڑ دو“ ۔
Hazrat Ibn Umar Radi Allahu Anhuma se riwayat hai keh Nabi Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne aik ladka dekha jis ke sar ke baaz hisse ke baal mundwae gaye the aur baaz hisse ke chhor diye gaye the to Aap Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam ne aisa karne se mana farmaaya aur kaha: “Ya to sara sar mundwa do ya phir sara chhor do”.
Abu Saeed al-Khudri's father said: I heard Muawiyah while he was on the pulpit and in his hand was a lock of hair, saying, "What is wrong with women who attach something like this to their heads? I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Any woman who attaches to her head the hair of someone else, it is falsehood."
ابو سعید خدری کے والد رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے امیر معاویہ رضی اللہ عنہ کو ممبر پر دیکھا کہ ان کے ہاتھ میں بالوں کی ایک چٹی تھی، وہ کہہ رہے تھے کہ ان عورتوں کو کیا ہوگیا ہے جو اپنے سروں پر اس قسم کی چیزیں لگاتی ہیں؟ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے، "جو عورت اپنے سر پر کسی دوسرے کے بال لگائے گی تو یہ جھوٹ ہوگا"۔
Abu Saeed Khudri ke walid razi Allah un hu kehte hain ke maine ameer Muawiya razi Allah un hu ko mimbar par dekha ke un ke hath mein baalon ki ek chati thi, wo keh rahe the ke in auraton ko kya hogaya hai jo apne saron par is qisam ki cheezain lagati hain? Maine Rasul Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam ko ye farmate hue suna hai, "Jo aurat apne sar par kisi dusre ke baal lagayegi to ye jhoot hoga".
Saeed ibn al-Musayyib said: Muawiyah came to Medina and he addressed us and he brought out a lock of hair and said, “I did not see anyone do this except the Jews. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was informed about it and called it a bad omen."
سعید بن المسیب نے کہا: معاویہ مدینہ آئے اور انہوں نے ہمیں خطاب کیا اور انہوں نے بالوں کا ایک گچھا نکالا اور کہا: "میں نے یہود کے سوا کسی کو ایسا کرتے نہیں دیکھا۔ رسول اللہ ﷺ کو اس کی اطلاع دی گئی تو آپ ﷺ نے اسے منحوس قرار دیا"۔
Saeed bin al-Musayyab ne kaha: Muawiya Madina aaye aur unhon ne humein khitab kya aur unhon ne balon ka ek guchcha nikala aur kaha: "Main ne yahood ke siwa kisi ko aisa karte nahin dekha. Rasul Allah ﷺ ko is ki ittila di gayi to aap ﷺ ne ise manhoos qarar diya".
