It was narrated from Jabir bin 'Abdullah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever attributes himself to someone other than his father, then it is as if he has cast off the rope of faith from his neck."
سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: جو شخص اپنے آقا کے علاوہ کسی کی طرف اپنی نسبت کرتا ہے گویا وہ اپنے گلے سے ایمان کی رسی نکال پھینکتا ہے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Jo shakhs apne aqa ke ilawa kisi ki taraf apni nisbat karta hai goya woh apne gale se iman ki rassi nikal phenkta hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) supplicated to Allah for three consecutive days in Masjid-e-Fath, on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. His supplication was accepted between the two prayers on Wednesday, and happiness spread across the Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) radiant face. After that, whenever I had an important task, I chose that same time to supplicate, and I observed signs of acceptance in it.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے مسجد فتح میں تین دن مسلسل پیر منگل اور بدھ کو دعا مانگی وہ دعا بدھ کے دن دو نمازوں کے درمیان قبول ہو گئی اور نبی ﷺ کے روئے انور پر پھیلی ہوئی بشاشت محسوس ہو نے لگی اس کے بعد مجھے جب بھی کوئی بہت اہم کام پیش آیا میں نے اسی گھڑی کا انتخاب کر کے دعا مانگی تو مجھے اس میں قبولیت کے آثار نظر آئے۔
Saina Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki aik martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Masjid e Fatha mein teen din musalsal peer mangal aur budh ko dua maangi woh dua budh ke din do namazon ke darmiyaan qubool ho gayi aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke rooye anwar par pheli hui bashashat mehsoos hone lagi is ke baad mujhe jab bhi koi bohat ahm kaam pesh aaya maine isi ghari ka intekhaab kar ke dua maangi to mujhe is mein qubooliyat ke aasaar nazar aaye.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Do not wish for death, for the terror of the Day of Resurrection is severe. And the good fortune of a person is to be granted a long life, and that Allah grants him the ability to turn towards Him in repentance.”

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: موت کی تمنا نہ کیا کر و کیونکہ قیامت کی ہو لناکی بہت سخت ہے اور انسان کی سعادت وخوش نصیبی یہ ہے کہ اسے لمبی عمر ملے اور اللہ اسے اپنی طرف رجوع کی توفیق عطا فرمائے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Maut ki tamanna na kiya karo kyunki qayamat ki haulnaki bahut sakht hai aur insan ki saadat o khush nasibi yeh hai ki use lambi umr mile aur Allah use apni taraf rujoo ki taufeeq ata farmaye.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade making the grave elaborate/from being plastered/hardened.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے قبرپختہ کرنے سے منع فرمایا ہے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne qabr pakka karne se mana farmaya hai.
It is narrated by Sayyidina Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once a piece of land near Masjid-e-Nabawi became vacant. The people of Banu Salamah intended to move near the mosque. When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to know about this, he said to them, “I have come to know that you people want to move near the mosque.” They said, “Yes, O Messenger of Allah! This is our intention.” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “O Banu Salamah! Stay in your homes, the reward of your footsteps will also be written.” Stay in your homes, the reward of your footsteps will also be written.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ مسجد نبوی کے قریب زمین کا ایک ٹکڑ اخالی ہو گیا بنوسلمہ کے لوگوں کا یہ ارادہ ہوا کہ وہ مسجد کے قریب منتقل ہو جائیں نبی ﷺ کو جب یہ بات معلوم ہوئی تو آپ نے ان سے یہ فرمایا کہ مجھے معلوم ہوا کہ تم لوگ مسجد کے قریب منتقل ہو نا چاہتے ہوانہوں نے عرض کی جی یا رسول اللہ! ہمارا یہی ارادہ ہے نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: بنوسلمہ اپنے گھروں میں ہی رہو تمہارے نشانات قدم کا ثواب بھی لکھا جاتا ہے اپنے گھروں میں ہی رہو تمہارے نشانات قدم کا ثواب بھی لکھا جائے گا۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki aik martaba Masjid Nabvi ke qareeb zameen ka aik tukda khali ho gaya Banu Salama ke logon ka yeh irada hua ki woh Masjid ke qareeb muntaqil ho jain Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko jab yeh baat malum hui to aap ne un se yeh farmaya ki mujhe malum hua ki tum log Masjid ke qareeb muntaqil hona chahte ho Unhon ne arz ki jee ya Rasulullah hamara yahi irada hai Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya Banu Salama apne gharon mein hi raho tumhare nishanat qadam ka sawab bhi likha jata hai apne gharon mein hi raho tumhare nishanat qadam ka sawab bhi likha jaye ga.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Abu Sa'eed and Jabir (may Allah be pleased with them) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "In the end times, there will come a Caliph who will give people wealth in abundance and will not even count it."

سیدنا ابوسعید اور جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: آخر زمانے میں ایک ایسا خلیفہ آئے گا جو لوگوں کو بھر بھر کر مال دے گا اور اسے شمار تک نہیں کر ے گا۔
Sayyidna Abusaid aur Jabir Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Aakhir zamaane mein ek aisa khalifa aayega jo logon ko bhar bhar kar maal dega aur use shumaar tak nahin karega.
It is narrated on the authority of Hadhrat Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that when we used to travel with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and ascended a hill, we would say Allahu Akbar, and when we descended, we would say Subhan Allah.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ہم لوگ نبی ﷺ کے ہمراہ سفر کرتے تھے جب ہم کسی بلندی پر چڑھتے تو اللہ اکبر کہتے اور جب نشیب میں اترتے تو سبحان اللہ کہتے تھے۔
Syedna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ke hum log Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke humrah safar karte thay jab hum kisi bulandi par chadhte to Allah Akbar kehte aur jab nashib mein utarte to Subhan Allah kehte thay.
It is narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The Dajjal will be one-eyed and he will be the biggest liar.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: دجال کانا ہو گا وہ سب سے بڑا جھوٹا ہو گا۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Dajjal kana ho ga woh sab se bada jhoota ho ga.
Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah (RA): The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "I am also a human being and I have taken a promise from my Lord that if I utter harsh words concerning any Muslim, those very words will become a means of his purification and reward."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: میں بھی ایک انسان ہوں اور میں نے اپنے پروردگار سے یہ وعدہ لے رکھا ہے کہ میرے منہ سے جس مسلمان کے متعلق سخت کلمات نکل جائیں وہ اس کے لئے باعث تزکیہ واجر ثواب بن جائیں۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: mein bhi ek insan hun aur maine apne parvardigaar se ye wada le rakha hai ki mere munh se jis musalman ke mutalliq sakht kalmat nikal jayen wo uske liye baais tazkiya ajr sawab ban jayen.
It is also mentioned in the details of the Hajj of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) descended from Safa and his blessed feet touched the valley, he performed Sa'i (walking between Safa and Marwa). When we ascended the other side (Marwa), the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) started walking at a normal pace.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے نبی ﷺ کے حج کے متعلق تفصیلات میں یہ بھی مذکور ہے کہ پھر نبی ﷺ صفا سے اترے اور وادی کے بیچ میں جب آپ کے مبارک قدم اترے تو آپ نے سعی فرمائی یہاں تک کہ جب دوسرے حصے پر ہم لوگ چڑھ گئے تو نبی ﷺ معمول کی رفتار سے چلنے لگے۔
Sayyidina Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke Hajj ke mutalliq tafseelat mein ye bhi mazkur hai ki phir Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Safa se utre aur waadi ke beech mein jab Aap ke mubarak qadam utre to Aap ne sa'ee farmaee yahan tak ki jab doosre hisse par hum log chadh gaye to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) mamul ki raftar se chalne lage.
Someone asked Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) about the Meeqat. He said: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying that the Meeqat for the people of Madinah is Dhu’l-Hulayfah, and the other route is Jaĥfah. The Meeqat for the people of Iraq is Dhat ‘Irq, the Meeqat for the people of Najd is Qarn, and the Meeqat for the people of Yemen is Yalamlam.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے کسی نے میقات کے متعلق پوچھا: انہوں نے فرمایا کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ اہل مدینہ میں میقات ذوالحلیفہ ہے اور دوسرا راستہ جحفہ ہے جبکہ اہل عراق کی میقات ذات عرقہ اہل نجد کی میقات قرن ہے اور اہل یمن کی میقات یلملم ہے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se kisi ne miqat ke mutalliq poocha: Unhon ne farmaya ki maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai ki ahl Madina mein miqat Zulhulayfah hai aur doosra rasta Juhfah hai jabkay ahl Iraq ki miqat Zat-e-Arqah ahl Najd ki miqat Qarn hai aur ahl Yemen ki miqat Yalamlam hai.
Narrated by Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked Asma bint Umais (may Allah be pleased with her) why her nephews were getting so thin, were they facing any problem or need? She submitted: No, but they get affected by the evil eye very quickly. Can we do "Jhar Phunk" (a traditional method of healing) on them? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked: "With what words?" She recited the words to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Do "Jhar Phunk" on them with these words."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے سیدنا اسما بنت عمیس سے فرمایا کہ کیا بات ہے کہ میرے بھتیجوں کے جسم بہت لاغر ہو رہے ہیں کیا انہیں کوئی پریشانی اور حاجت ہے؟ انہوں نے عرض کیا: نہیں البتہ انہیں نظر بہت جلدی لگتی ہے کیا ہم ان پر جھاڑ پھونک کر سکتے ہیں نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: کن الفاظ سے انہوں نے وہ الفاظ نبی ﷺ کے سامنے پیش کئے نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: تم انہیں جھاڑ دیا کر و۔

Narrated Jabir bin Abdullah: I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, "If there were any good omen in an animal, it would be in a horse, a property, or a woman."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کو میں نے یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ اگر نحوست کسی چیز میں ہو تی تو وہ جائیداد گھوڑے اور عورت میں ہو تی۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko maine ye farmate huye suna hai ki agar nuhust kisi cheez mein ho ti to woh jaidad ghore aur aurat mein ho ti.
It is narrated on the authority of Hadhrat Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered us to kill the dogs. So much so that if a woman brought her dog even from the villages, we would kill it too. Later, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade us from doing so (and said): Kill only that black dog which has two spots, because it is a devil.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ہمیں حکم دیا کہ کتوں کو ختم کر و چنانچہ اگر کوئی عورت دیہات سے بھی اپنا کوئی کتا لے کر آتی تو ہم اسے بھی مار ڈالتے بعد میں نبی ﷺ نے اس سے منع فرمایا: صرف اس کالے سیاہ کتے کو مارا کر و جو دو نقطوں والا ہو کیونکہ وہ شیطان ہوتا ہے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne hamen hukm diya ki kutton ko khatam kar do chunanche agar koi aurat dehat se bhi apna koi kutta le kar aati to hum usay bhi maar daalte baad mein Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne is se mana farmaaya: sirf is kale siyah kutte ko mara kar do jo do nukton wala ho kyunki woh shaitan hota hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that when Sayyiduna Safiyya bint Huyay (may Allah be pleased with her) entered the tent of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), people also came with her so that she could be given to someone from among them. But the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Go away from your mother." In the evening, we came again, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came out with dates equal to about one and a half mudd in a corner of his sheet and said: "Eat the mahr of your mother."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ جب سیدنا صفیہ بنت حیی نبی ﷺ کے خیمے میں داخل ہوئیں تو لوگ بھی ان کے ساتھ آ گئے تاکہ انہیں کسی کے حصے میں سے دے دیا جائے لیکن نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: اپنی ماں کے پاس سے اٹھ جاؤ شام کے وقت ہم دوبارہ حاضر ہوئے تو نبی ﷺ اپنی چادر کے ایک کونے میں تقریبا ڈیڑھ مد کے برابر عجوہ کھجوریں لے کر نکلے اور فرمایا: اپنی ماں کا ولیمہ کھاؤ۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki jab Sayyida Safiyyah bint Huyyi Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke khaime mein dakhil huyeen to log bhi un ke sath aa gaye taake unhen kisi ke hisse mein se de diya jaye lekin Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Apni maan ke pass se uth jao sham ke waqt hum dobara hazir huye to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) apni chadar ke ek kone mein taqreeban derh mud ke barabar ajwa khajoorian lekar nikle aur farmaya: Apni maan ka walimah khao.
Narrated by Jabir ibn Abdullah: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The believer eats in one intestine (is satisfied with little food), while the disbeliever eats in seven intestines (eats too much)."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: مومن ایک آنت میں کھاتا ہے اور کافر سات آنتوں میں کھاتا ہے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Momin ek aant mein khata hai aur kafir saat aanton mein khata hai.
It is narrated by Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the construction of the Kaaba began, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) started carrying stones. Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "Nephew, take off your lower garment and put it on your shoulder so that your shoulder does not get hurt by the stones." When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) intended to do so, he fainted and fell. From that day on, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was never seen bare-bodied.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ جب خانہ کعبہ کی تعمیر شروع ہوئی تو نبی ﷺ بھی پتھر اٹھا اٹھا کر لانے لگے سیدنا عباس کہنے لگے کہ بھتیجے آپ اپنا تہبند اتار کر کندھے پر رکھ لیجئے تاکہ پتھر سے کندھے زخمی نہ ہو جائیں نبی ﷺ نے ایسا کرنا چاہا تو بےہو ش ہو کر گرپڑے اس دن کے بعد نبی ﷺ کو کبھی کپڑوں سے خالی جسم میں نہیں دیکھا گیا '
Sayyida Jaabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai keh jab Khanah Kaaba ki tameer shuru hui to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) bhi pathar utha utha kar laane lage Sayyida Abbas kehne lage keh bhatijay aap apna tehband utar kar kandhay par rakh lijiye taake pathar se kandhe zakhmi na ho jayen Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne aisa karna chaha to behosh ho kar gir pare us din ke baad Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko kabhi kapdon se khali jism mein nahin dekha gaya.
Narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performed the Tawaf of the Ka'bah and the Sa'i between Safa and Marwah on his ride during the Farewell Pilgrimage so that the people could see him and their issues could be easily resolved, as the people had surrounded him at that time.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے حجۃ الوداع کے موقع پر بیت اللہ کا طواف اور صفامروہ کی سعی اپنی سواری پر کی تھی تاکہ لوگ نبی ﷺ کو دیکھ سکیں اور مسائل بآسانی حل کر سکیں کیونکہ اس وقت لوگوں نے آپ کو گھیر رکھا تھا۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Hajjat al-Wida ke mauke par Bait Ullah ka tawaf aur Safa Marwa ki sa'i apni sawari par ki thi taaki log Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko dekh saken aur masail ba asani hal kar saken kyunki us waqt logon ne aap ko gher rakha tha.
Narrated Jabir bin Abdullah: I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, "Whoever amongst you dies while he is having good thoughts about Allah, then Allah will fulfill those for him."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ تم میں سے جس شخص کو بھی موت آئے وہ اس حال میں ہو کہ اللہ کے ساتھ حسن ظن رکھتا ہو۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai ki tum mein se jis shakhs ko bhi maut aaye woh is haal mein ho ki Allah ke sath husn-e-zann rakhta ho.
Narrated by Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him), once we prepared food for the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in a clay pot. I brought the pot and placed it before the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) looked into it and said, "I thought there would be meat in it." I went to my family and told them about it, and they slaughtered a goat for the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ ہم نے نبی ﷺ کے لئے ٹھیکر ی کی ہنڈیا میں کھانا تیار کیا میں نے وہ برتن لا کر نبی ﷺ کے سامنے رکھا نبی ﷺ نے اس میں جھانک کر دیکھا اور فرمایا: میں تو سمجھا تھا کہ اس میں گوشت ہو گا میں نے جا کر اپنے گھر والوں سے اس کا تذکر ہ کیا اور انہوں نے نبی ﷺ کے لئے بکری ذبح کی۔
Saina Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki aik martaba hum ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke liye theekri ki handi mein khana taiyar kiya mein ne woh bartan la kar Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke samne rakha Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne us mein jhank kar dekha aur farmaya: mein to samjha tha ki us mein gosht ho ga mein ne ja kar apne ghar walon se is ka tazkira kiya aur unhon ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke liye bakri zabah ki.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The reward for an accepted Hajj is nothing but Paradise." The companions asked: "O Messenger of Allah! What is meant by an accepted Hajj?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Providing food and spreading peace."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: حج مبرور کی جزا جنت کے سوا کچھ نہیں صحابہ نے پوچھا: یا رسول اللہ! حج مبرور سے کیا مراد ہے؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ کھانا کھلانا اور سلام پھیلانا۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Hajj mabroor ki jaza jannat ke siwa kuchh nahin. Sahaba ne puchha: Ya Rasulullah! Hajj mabroor se kya murad hai? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki khana khilana aur salam phailana.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not fight in the Sacred Months unless the enemy initiated hostilities. Otherwise, when the Sacred Months began, he would stop fighting until they were over.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ اشہر حرم میں جہاد نہیں فرماتے تھے الاّ یہ کہ دوسروں کی طرف سے جنگ مسلط کر دی جائے ورنہ جب اشہر حرم شروع ہوتے تو آپ ان کے ختم ہو نے تک رک جاتے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Ashhur Haram mein jihad nahi farmate the illa yeh ki dusron ki taraf se jang musallat kar di jaye warna jab Ashhur Haram shuru hote to aap in ke khatam hone tak ruk jate.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that an Ansari man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah! Can I treat a scorpion sting with incantations?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Whoever is able to benefit his brother should do so."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک انصاری نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہو کر کہنے لگا یا رسول اللہ! کیا میں بچھو کے ڈنگ کا جھاڑ پھونک کے ذریعے علاج کر سکتا ہوں نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ جو شخص اپنے بھائی کو نفع پہنچاسکتا ہواسے ایساہی کرنا چاہئے۔
Syedna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai keh aik ansari Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir hokar kehne laga Ya Rasulullah! kya mein bichhu ke dang ka jhaar phoonk ke zariye elaj kar sakta hun Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya keh jo shakhs apne bhai ko nafa pahucha sakta hai usay aisa hi karna chahiye.
It is narrated by Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) abandoned (sexual) relations with his pure wives for a month. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to live upstairs and his pure wives used to live downstairs. After 29 nights had passed, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came downstairs. Someone asked: "O Messenger of Allah! You only stayed (away) for 29 nights (while you had intended a month)." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Sometimes a month is this much and this much." You gestured twice with all the fingers of your hand and the third time you closed your thumb.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ایک مہینے کے لئے اپنی ازواج مطہرات سے ترک تعلق کر لیا تھا نبی ﷺ بالاخانے میں رہتے تھے اور ازواج مطہرات نچلی منزل میں رہتی تھیں ٢٩ راتیں گزرنے کے بعد نبی ﷺ نیچے اتر آئے کسی نے پوچھا: یا رسول اللہ! آپ تو ٢٩ راتیں رکے (جبکہ آپ نے ایک ماہ کا ارادہ کیا تھا) نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: کبھی مہینہ اتنا اور اتنا بھی ہوتا ہے دو مرتبہ آپ نے ہاتھ کی ساری انگلیوں سے اشارہ کیا اور تیسری مرتبہ انگوٹھے کو بند کر دیا۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ek mahine ke liye apni azwaj e mutahharat se tark taluq kar liya tha Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) balakhane mein rehte the aur azwaj e mutahharat nichli manzil mein rehti thin 29 raaten guzarne ke baad Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) niche utar aaye kisi ne pucha: Ya Rasulullah! Aap to 29 raaten ruke (jabke aap ne ek mah ka irada kiya tha) Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: kabhi mahina itna aur itna bhi hota hai do martaba aap ne hath ki sari ungliyon se ishara kiya aur teesri martaba angoothe ko band kar diya.
Narrated by Jabir ibn Abdullah: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When one of you sends a marriage proposal to a woman, if he is able to look at her and see what would encourage him to marry her, then he should do so." He said, "I sent a marriage proposal to a woman of the tribe of Banu Sulaym, and I hid behind a tree to look at her. I saw what encouraged me to marry her, so I married her."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: جب تم میں سے کوئی شخص کسی عورت کے پاس نکاح بھیجے اور یہ ممکن ہو کہ وہ اس عورت کی اس خوبی کو دیکھ سکے جس کی بنا پر وہ اس سے نکاح کرنا چاہتاہو تو اسے کر لینا چاہئے چنانچہ میں نے بنوسلمہ کی ایک لڑکی سے پیغام نکاح بھیجا تو اسے کسی درخت کی شاخوں سے چھپ کر دیکھ لیا یہاں تک کہ مجھے اس کی وہ خوبی نظر آگئی جس کی بنا پر میں اس سے نکاح کرنا چاہتا تھا چنانچہ میں نے اس سے نکاح کر لیا۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Jab tum mein se koi shakhs kisi aurat ke pass nikah bheje aur yeh mumkin ho ki woh us aurat ki us khoobi ko dekh sake jis ki bina par woh us se nikah karna chahta ho to use kar lena chahiye chunanche main ne Banu Salma ki ek ladki se paigham nikah bheja to use kisi darakht ki shakhon se chhup kar dekh liya yahan tak ki mujhe us ki woh khoobi nazar aa gai jis ki bina par main us se nikah karna chahta tha chunanche main ne us se nikah kar liya.
Narrated Jabir (RA): The Prophet (SAW) said: Do not eat with your left hand, for Satan eats with his left hand.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا کہ بائیں ہاتھ سے کھانا مت کھاؤ کیونکہ بائیں ہاتھ سے شیطان کھانا کھاتا ہے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya ki bayen hath se khana mat khao kyunki bayen hath se shaitan khana khata hai.
Jabir ibn Abdullah reported: The Prophet (ﷺ) sent me on an errand towards Banu Mustaliq. I returned while he (ﷺ) was offering prayer on his camel. I wanted to talk to him, but he signaled with his hand (asking me) to wait. When he finished the prayer, he (ﷺ) said: What about the errand on which I sent you? I did not reply to him because I was offering prayer. At that time the Prophet's (ﷺ) face was towards the east.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے مجھے بنو مصطلق کی طرف جاتے ہوئے کسی کام سے بھیج دیا میں واپس آیا تو نبی ﷺ اپنے اونٹ پر نماز پڑھ رہے تھے میں نے بات کرنا چاہی تو نبی ﷺ نے ہاتھ سے اشارہ فرما دیا نماز سے فراغت کے بعد نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: میں نے جس کام کے لئے تجھے بھیجا تھا اس کا کیا بنا؟ میں نے جواب اس لئے نہیں دیا تھا کہ میں نماز پڑھ رہا تھا اس وقت نبی ﷺ کا رخ مشرق کی جانب تھا۔
Sayyidna Jabir razi Allah anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mujhe Banu Mustaliq ki taraf jate hue kisi kaam se bhej diya mein wapas aaya to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) apne unt par namaz parh rahe the mein ne baat karna chahi to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne hath se ishara farma diya namaz se faraghat ke baad Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: mein ne jis kaam ke liye tujhe bheja tha us ka kya bana? mein ne jawab is liye nahin diya tha ki mein namaz parh raha tha us waqt Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ka rukh mashriq ki janib tha.
Narrated Jabir bin Abdullah: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The Prophets were presented to me, and Moses was a well-built, brown man as if he was from the people of Zut (a tribe famous for tall and brown people). I saw Jesus, and the one who resembled him most among the people was 'Urwa bin Mas'ud. And I saw Abraham, and the one who resembled him most among the people was myself. And I saw Gabriel and the one who resembled him most among the people was Dihya (a handsome companion of the Prophet)."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: میرے پاس انبیاء کو لایا گیا سیدنا موسیٰ تو ایک وجیہہ آدمی معلوم ہوتے تھے اور یوں لگتا تھا جیسے وہ قبیلہ شنوہ کے آدمی ہوں میں نے سیدنا عیسیٰ کو دیکھا تو ان کے سب سے زیادہ مشابہہ مجھے (اپنے صحابہ میں) عروہ بن مسعود لگے اور میں نے سیدنا ابراہیم کو دیکھا تو ان کے سب سے زیادہ مشابہہ میں نے تمہارے پیغمبر (خود) کو دیکھا اور میں نے سیدنا جبرائیل کو دیکھا تو ان کے سب سے زیادہ مشابہہ " دحیہ " کو پایا۔

It is narrated by Sayyidina Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) became ill. We prayed behind the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) while he was leading the prayer sitting down, and Sayyidina Abu Bakr was saying the takbeer (Allahu Akbar) loudly so that others could hear it. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) looked towards us with the corner of his eye and saw us standing. He gestured towards us and we also sat down and continued praying. After finishing the prayer, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "You were almost about to start doing what the Persians and Romans do. They stand before their kings while their kings remain seated. Do not do this, but rather follow your imams. If they pray standing, then pray standing. If they pray sitting, then pray sitting."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ بیمار ہو گئے ہم نے نبی ﷺ کے پیچھے نماز پڑھی اس وقت آپ بیٹھ کر نماز پڑھا رہے تھے اور سیدنا صدیق اکبربلند آواز سے تکبیر کہہ کر دوسروں تک تکبیر کی آواز پہنچا رہے تھے نبی ﷺ نے کن اکھیوں سے ہماری طرف دیکھا تو ہم کھڑے ہوئے نظر آئے نبی ﷺ نے ہماری طرف اشارہ کیا اور ہم بھی بیٹھ کر نماز پڑھنے لگے اور بقیہ نماز اسی طرح ادا کی نماز سے فراغت کے بعد نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ابھی قریب تھا کہ تم فارس اور روم والوں جیسا کام کرنے لگتے وہ لوگ بھی اپنے بادشاہوں کے سامنے کھڑے رہتے ہیں اور بادشاہ بیٹھے رہتے ہیں تم لوگ ایسا نہ کیا کر و بلکہ اپنی ائمہ کی اقتدا کیا کر و اگر وہ کھڑے ہو کر نماز پڑھیں تو تم بھی کھڑے ہو کر نماز پڑھو اگر وہ بیٹھ کر نماز پڑھیں تو تم بھی بیٹھ کر نماز پڑھو۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) bimar ho gaye hum ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke peeche namaz padhi us waqt aap baith kar namaz padha rahe the aur Sayyidna Siddiq Akbar buland awaz se takbeer keh kar dusron tak takbeer ki awaz pahuncha rahe the Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne kon aankhon se hamari taraf dekha to hum kharay huye nazar aaye Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne hamari taraf ishara kiya aur hum bhi baith kar namaz padhne lage aur baqi namaz isi tarah ada ki namaz se faraghat ke baad Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya abhi qareeb tha ki tum Faris aur Rome walon jaisa kaam karne lagte woh log bhi apne badshahon ke samne kharay rehte hain aur badshah baithe rehte hain tum log aisa na kya karo balke apni aima ki iqtida kya karo agar woh kharay ho kar namaz padhen to tum bhi kharay ho kar namaz padho agar woh baith kar namaz padhen to tum bhi baith kar namaz padho.
Narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him): A funeral procession passed by the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and he stood up. So we also stood up. I said: “O Messenger of Allah! This is the funeral of a Jew.” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Death is a moment of distress, so when you see a funeral, stand up."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کے قریب سے ایک جنازہ گزرا تو آپ کھڑے ہو گئے ہم بھی کھڑے ہو گئے میں نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! یہ تو ایک یہو دی کا جنازہ ہے نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: موت کی ایک پریشانی ہو تی ہے لہذا جب تم جنازہ دیکھا کر و تو کھڑے ہو جایا کر و۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke qareeb se ek janaza guzra to aap kharay ho gaye hum bhi kharay ho gaye maine arz kiya Ya Rasulullah yah to ek yahodi ka janaza hai Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya maut ki ek pareshani hoti hai lihaza jab tum janaza dekha karo to kharay ho jaya karo
Narrated Jabir (RA): The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "The one who dies from an animal grazing freely or dedicated to idols has died in vain, the one who dies in a well has died in vain, the one who dies by a scorpion's sting has died in vain, and one-fifth of the spoils of war belong to the state treasury (Bayt al-Mal)."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: چراگاہ میں چرنے والے جانور یا بتوں کے نام پر چھوڑے ہوئے جانور سے مارا جانے والا رائیگاں گیا کنوئیں میں مرنے والا کا خون رائیگاں گیا کان میں مرنے والے کا خون رائیگاں گیا اور زمین کے دفینے میں بیت المال کا پانچواں حصہ ہے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya charagah mein charne wale janwar ya buton ke naam par chhode hue janwar se mara jane wala raigan gaya kuen mein marne wale ka khoon raigan gaya kaan mein marne wale ka khoon raigan gaya aur zameen ke dafine mein baitul maal ka panchwan hissa hai
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prescribed that a camel or a cow may be slaughtered on behalf of seven people.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے یہ طریقہ مقرر کیا ہے کہ سات آدمیوں کی طرف سے ایک اونٹ اور سات ہی کی طرف سے ایک گائے ذبح کی جاسکتی ہے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ye tareeqa muqarrar kya hai ki saat aadmiyon ki taraf se ek unt aur saat hi ki taraf se ek gaye zabah ki ja sakti hai.
Shuraihbil said: Once we visited Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) and he was praying wrapped in a single cloth, even though other clothes were lying near him. When he finished his prayer, I said, "O Abdullah! May Allah forgive you! You are praying in one cloth while you have other clothes beside you." He replied, "I did this so that fools like you may see." Then he said, "Should a companion have two clothes when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: 'When you want to pray, and you have only one garment on you, and it is spacious, then wrap yourself up well in it. And if it is tight, then make it into an izar (lower garment) and pray.'"

شرحبیل کہتے ہیں ایک مرتبہ ہم لوگ سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ کے یہاں گئے وہ ایک کپڑے میں لپٹ کر نماز پڑھ رہے تھے حالانکہ دوسرے کپڑے ان کے قریب پڑے ہوئے تھے جب انہوں نے سلام پھیرا تو میں نے ان سے کہا کہ اے عبداللہ اللہ تعالیٰ آپ کی بخشش فرمائے آپ ایک کپڑے میں نماز پڑھ رہے ہیں جبکہ آپ کے پہلو میں اور بھی کپڑے موجود ہیں انہوں نے فرمایا کہ میں نے یہ اس لئے کیا ہے کہ تم جیسے احمق بھی دیکھ لیں پھر فرمایا کہ میں ایک کپڑے میں نماز پڑھ رہاہوں کیا صحابی کے پاس دو کپڑے ہوتے تھے نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: جب تم نماز پڑھنے لگو اور تمہارے جسم پر ایک ہی کپڑا ہواور وہ کشادہ ہو تو اسے خوب اچھی طرح لپیٹ لو اور اگر تنگ ہو تو اس کا تہنبد بنالو اور پھر نماز پڑھو۔
Sharahbeel kehte hain ek martaba hum log Sayyiduna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke yahan gaye woh ek kapre mein lapat kar namaz parh rahe the halanki dusre kapre unke qareeb pare hue the jab unhon ne salam phera to maine unse kaha ke aye Abdullah Allah Ta'ala aap ki bakhshish farmaye aap ek kapre mein namaz parh rahe hain jabke aapke pahlu mein aur bhi kapre mojood hain unhon ne farmaya ke maine ye is liye kiya hai ke tum jaise ahmaq bhi dekh len phir farmaya ke mein ek kapre mein namaz parh raha hun kya Sahabi ke pass do kapre hote the Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Jab tum namaz parhne lago aur tumhare jism par ek hi kapda huaur woh kushada ho to use khoob achhi tarah lapet lo aur agar tang ho to uska tahband bana lo aur phir namaz parho.
Narrated Jabir bin Abdullah (RA): The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Hardness of heart and harshness are found in the owners of camels (Bedouins), and faith is found in the people of Hijaz."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: دلوں کی سختی اور ظلم وجفا مشرقی لوگوں میں ہوتا ہے اور ایمان اہل حجاز میں ہے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Dilon ki sakhti aur zulm o jafa mashriqi logon mein hota hai aur imaan ahl Hijaz mein hai.
Narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade keeping pictures in the house, and at the time of the conquest of Makkah, when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was in Batha, he ordered Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) to go to the Kaaba and erase all the pictures in it. And he (the Prophet) did not enter the Kaaba until all the pictures in it had been erased.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے گھر میں تصویریں رکھنے سے منع فرمایا ہے اور فتح مکہ کے زمانے میں جب نبی ﷺ مقام بطحا میں تھے تو سیدنا عمر کو حکم دیا کہ خانہ کعبہ پہنچ کر اس میں موجود تمام تصویریں مٹا ڈالیں اور اس وقت تک آپ خانہ کعبہ میں داخل نہیں ہوئے جب تک اس میں موجود تمام تصویروں کو مٹا نہیں دیا گیا۔
Syedna Jaber (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ghar mein tasveerein rakhne se mana farmaya hai aur Fath Makkah ke zamaane mein jab Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) maqaam Batha mein thay to Syedna Umar ko hukm diya keh Khana Kaaba pohanch kar us mein mojood tamam tasveerein mita dalain aur us waqt tak aap Khana Kaaba mein dakhil nahin huye jab tak us mein mojood tamam tasveeron ko mita nahin diya gaya.
Narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There is a treatment for every disease, and when the medicine reaches a disease, it heals it by the command of Allah."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے اشاد فرمایا: ہر بیماری کا علاج ہوتا ہے جب دوا کسی بیماری پر جا کر لگتی ہے تو اللہ کے حکم سے شفا ہو جاتی ہے۔
Syedna Jaber Radi Allaho Anho Se Marvi Hai Ke Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam Ne Irshad Farmaya: Har Bimari Ka Elaj Hota Hai Jab Dawa Kisi Bimari Par Ja Kar Lagti Hai To Allah Ke Hukum Se Shifa Ho Jati Hai.
Jabir ibn Abdullah visited a sick man and said, "I will not leave from here until you do cupping, for I heard the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, say that there is healing in it."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ ایک مرتبہ مقنع کی عیادت کے لئے گئے تو فرمایا کہ میں اس وقت تک یہاں سے نہیں جاؤں گا جب تک تم سینگی نہ لگوالو کیونکہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ اس میں شفاء ہے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) aik martaba muqni ki ayadat ke liye gaye to farmaya keh mein iss waqt tak yahan se nahi jaunga jab tak tum seenghi nah lagwalo kyunki mein ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko yeh farmate huye suna hai keh iss mein shifa hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade looting.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے لوٹ مار کرنے سے منع فرمایا ہے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne loot maar karne se mana farmaya hai.
Narrated by Sayyidina Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him): Once he asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): O Messenger of Allah! What is the purpose of our deeds? Has the pen already written and dried, and the decree been issued? Do we then create our own destiny? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The pen has already written and dried, and the decree has been issued. Sayyidina Saraqah asked: Then what is the benefit of doing deeds? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Keep doing deeds, because each person will be facilitated in the actions for which they were created.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ انہوں نے نبی ﷺ سے پوچھا: یا رسول اللہ! ہمارا عمل کس مقصد کے لئے ہے کیا قلم لکھ کر اسے خشک ہو گئے اور تقدیر کا حکم نافذ ہو گیا پھر ہم اپنی تقدیر خود ہی بناتے ہیں نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: قلم اسے لکھ کر خشک ہو چکے ہیں اور تقدیر کا حکم نافذ ہو گیا سیدنا سراقہ نے پوچھا کہ پھر عمل کا کیا فائدہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ عمل کرتے رہو کیونکہ ہر ایک کے لئے اسی عمل کو آسان کر دیا جائے گا جس کے لئے اسے پیدا کیا گیا ہے۔
Syedna Jabir Razi Allah Anhu se marvi hai keh aik martaba unhon ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se poocha: Ya Rasool Allah! Humara amal kis maqsad ke liye hai kya qalam likh kar usey khushk ho gaye aur taqdeer ka hukm nafiz ho gaya phir hum apni taqdeer khud hi banate hain Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Qalam usey likh kar khushk ho chuke hain aur taqdeer ka hukm nafiz ho gaya Syedna Saraqah ne poocha keh phir amal ka kya faida Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya keh amal karte raho kyunki har aik ke liye usi amal ko asan kar diya jaye ga jis ke liye usey پیدا kia gaya hai.
It was narrated from Jabir bin 'Abdullah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever among you can afford it, let him be shrouded in a Hibarah garment."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: جس شخص کے پاس گنجائش ہواسے کفن کے لئے دھاری دار یمنی کپڑا استعمال کرنا چاہئے۔
Saina Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya jis shakhs ke pass gunjaish ho use kafan ke liye dhari dar Yamani kapra istemaal karna chahiye.
It was narrated from Jabir bin 'Abdullah that he heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying: "A woman was punished because of a cat which she had tied up, neither giving it food nor setting it free to eat from the vermin of the earth." She kept it imprisoned until it died, and because of it she was doomed to Hell.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ انہوں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ ایک عورت کو اس بلی کی وجہ سے عذاب ہوا جس نے اسے باندھ دیا تھا خود اسے کھلایا اور نہ ہی اسے چھوڑا کہ وہ خود ہی زمین کے کیڑے مکوڑے کھا کر اپناپیٹ بھر لیتی حتی کہ وہ اس حال میں مرگئی تو اس کے لئے جہنم واجب ہو گئی۔
Saina Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki unhon ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai ki ek aurat ko is billi ki waja se azab hua jise usne bandh diya tha khud use khilaya aur na hi use chhoda ki wo khud hi zameen ke kere makore kha kar apna pet bhar leti hatta ki wo is hal mein mar gai to uske liye jahannam wajib ho gai.
Abu Zubair said that I asked Jabir ibn Abdullah, "Did the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, say that one-fifth of buried treasure is due to the public treasury?" He said, "Yes."

ابوالزبیر کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے پوچھا کہ کیا نبی ﷺ نے یہ فرمایا: تھا کہ زمین کے دفینے میں بیت المال کے لئے پانچوں حصہ واجب ہے انہوں نے فرمایا: ہاں۔
Abualzbair kehte hain ke maine Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se poocha ke kya Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ye farmaya tha ke zameen ke dafine mein baitulmaal ke liye panchon hissa wajib hai unhon ne farmaya: Haan.
Narrated Jabir (RA): The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Adhere to the straight path and receive glad tidings."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: راہ راست اختیار کر و اور خوشخبری حاصل کر و۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Rah raast ikhtiyar kar o aur khushkhabri hasil kar o.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: If I live, God willing, I will strictly forbid people from keeping names like Barakah (blessing), Yassar (ease), and Nafi' (beneficial). Now I do not remember whether the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) also mentioned the name Rafi' (exalted) or not. And he (the Prophet) stated the reason for this, that someone asks if there is Barakah (blessing) here, he replies no. Someone asks if there is any Yassar (ease) here, he replies no. But the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed away before that. Then Sayyiduna Umar intended to strictly stop it but then he left it.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ اگر میں زندہ رہا تو ان شاء اللہ سختی سے لوگوں کو برکت، یسار اور نافع جیسے نام رکھنے سے منع کر دوں گا اب مجھے یہ یاد نہیں کہ نبی ﷺ نے رافع کا نام بھی ذکر کیا تھا یا نہیں؟ اور وجہ یہ بیان فرمائی کہ کوئی کسی سے پوچھتا ہے کہ یہاں برکت ہے وہ جواب دیتا ہے نہیں کوئی پوچھتا ہے کہ یہاں کوئی یسار (آسانی) ہے وہ جواب دیتا ہے کہ نہیں لیکن اس سے قبل ہی نبی ﷺ کا وصال ہو گیا پھر سیدنا عمر نے اسے سختی سے روکنے کا ارادہ کیا لیکن پھر اسے ترک کر دیا۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai ki agar main zinda raha to Insha Allah sakhti se logon ko Barkat, Yasar aur Nafe jaise naam rakhne se mana kar dun ga ab mujhe ye yaad nahi ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Rafe ka naam bhi zikar kiya tha ya nahi aur wajah ye bayan farmae ki koi kisi se puchta hai ki yahan Barkat hai wo jawab deta hai nahi koi puchta hai ki yahan koi Yasar (asani) hai wo jawab deta hai ki nahi lekin is se pehle hi Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ka wisal ho gaya phir Sayyidna Umar ne ise sakhti se rokne ka irada kiya lekin phir ise tark kar diya.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the commanders of an army, Ghalib Laithi and Qatbah bin 'Amir, came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in a garden while he was observing itikaf (seclusion for worship). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came out of the door after a while and started walking, taking cover by the wall. Among them was Abdullah bin Anis, who, after twenty-two nights of Ramadan had passed, asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about Laylat al-Qadr (the Night of Power). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Seek it in the (odd) nights out of the seven (nights) that are left from the month."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ کسی لشکر کے امیر غالب لیثی اور قطبہ بن عامر تھے جو کہ نبی ﷺ کے پاس ایک باغ میں آئے تھے جبکہ وہ محرم تھے نبی ﷺ تھوڑی دیر بعد دروازے سے نکلے تو دیوار کی جانب آڑ لے کر چلنے لگے ان میں ہی عبداللہ بن انیس بھی تھے جنہوں نے ماہ رمضان کی بائیس راتیں گزرنے کے بعد نبی ﷺ سے شب قدر کے متعلق پوچھا: تھا نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ مہینے کی اب جو سات راتیں بچ گئیں ہیں ان میں ہی شب قدر تلاش کر و۔
Sayyedna Jaber (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ke kisi lashkar ke ameer Ghaalib Laythi aur Qutba bin Aamir thay jo ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke pass ek bagh mein aaye thay jabke wo muhrim thay Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) thori dair baad darwaze se nikle to deewar ki jaanib aar le kar chalne lage un mein hi Abdullah bin Anis bhi thay jinhone mah e Ramzan ki baais raaten guzarne ke baad Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se Shab e Qadar ke mutalliq poocha tha Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ke mahine ki ab jo saat raaten bach gayin hain un mein hi Shab e Qadar talaash karo
Narrated Jabir (RA): I heard the Prophet (SAW) saying: When anyone of you goes to the privy (toilet), he should use three stones with which to clean himself.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ جب تم میں سے کوئی شخص بیت الخلاء میں جائے تو تین مرتبہ پتھر استعمال کر ے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai ki jab tum mein se koi shakhs baitul khalaja mein jaye to teen martaba pathar istemal kare.
Abu Zubair said: I asked Jabir ibn Abdullah about the way of prostrating. He replied: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) enjoining moderation in prostration and that one should not prostrate like a dog sprawling.

ابوالزبیر کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے سجدے کی کیفیت کے متعلق سوال پوچھا: انہوں نے جواب دیا کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو سجدے میں اعتدال کا حکم فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے اور کوئی شخص باز بچھا کر سجدہ نہ کر ے۔
Abu alzubair kehte hain ki maine syedna jabir razi Allah anhu se sajde ki kefiyat ke mutalliq sawal poocha: unhon ne jawab diya ki maine nabi salAllahu alaihi wasallam ko sajde mein aitdal ka hukum farmate huye suna hai aur koi shakhs baz bacha kar sijda na kare.
Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: When the Mu'adh-dhin (call-maker) calls (for the prayer), Satan takes to his heels and breaks wind with noise till he goes out of hearing of the call, and when he (the Mu'adh-dhin) finishes his call (Adhan) he (Satan) returns.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: جب مؤذن اذان دیتا ہے تو شیطان اتنی دور بھاگ جاتا ہے جتنا فاصلہ روحاء تک ہے اور وہ پیچھے سے آواز خارج کرتا جاتا ہے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Jab muazzin azaan deta hai to shaitan itni door bhaag jata hai jitna fasla Rooh tak hai aur wo peeche se aawaz kharij karta jata hai.
Abu Zubair said that I asked Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) whether he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say anything about going to the mosque frequently. He said, "Once we intended to move near the mosque. When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to know about it, he forbade us strictly, saying, 'Do not vacate Madinah, for you will get the reward of one degree for every step you take towards the mosque.'"

ابوالزبیر کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے پوچھا کہ کیا انہوں نے نبی ﷺ کو مسجد کی طرف بکثرت چل کر جانے کے متعلق کچھ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے انہوں نے فرمایا کہ ایک مرتبہ ہمارا ارادہ ہوا کہ مسجد کے قریب منتقل ہو جائیں نبی ﷺ کو جب یہ بات معلوم ہوئی تو آپ نے ہمیں سختی سے روکتے ہوئے فرمایا: مدینہ خالی نہ کر و کیونکہ مسجد کے قریب والوں پر تمہیں ہر قدم کے بدلے ایک درجہ فضیلت ملتی ہے۔
Abualzbair kahte hain ke maine Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se poocha ke kya unhon ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko masjid ki taraf bakasrat chal kar jane ke mutalliq kuchh farmate hue suna hai unhon ne farmaya ke ek martaba hamara irada hua ke masjid ke qareeb muntaqil ho jayen Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko jab yah baat maloom hui to ap ne hamen sakhti se rokte hue farmaya: Madina khali na kar o kyunki masjid ke qareeb walon par tumhen har qadam ke badle ek darja fazilat milti hai.
