Narrated Jabir (RA): The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There is no Zakat on less than five Wasq (of dates or grains), nor on less than five Uqiyah (of silver), nor on less than five camels."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: پانچ وسق سے کم میں زکوٰۃ نہیں ہے پانچ اوقیہ سے کم چاندی میں زکوٰۃ نہیں ہے اور پانچ سے کم اونٹوں میں بھی زکوٰۃ نہیں ہے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: panch wasq se kam mein zakat nahi hai panch auqiya se kam chandi mein zakat nahi hai aur panch se kam oonton mein bhi zakat nahi hai.
It is narrated by Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the day of Eid al-Fitr, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood up and led the prayer before the sermon. After the prayer, he addressed the people. After he finished, he came down from the pulpit and went to the women and advised them. During this time, he was leaning on the hand of Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him). Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) had spread out his cloth, in which the women were putting charity, until some women even put their earrings in it.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ عیدالفطر کے دن نبی ﷺ کھڑے ہوئے تو خطبہ سے پہلے نماز پڑھائی نماز کے بعد لوگوں سے خطاب کیا اور فارغ ہو نے کے بعد منبر سے اتر کر خواتین کے پاس تشریف لائے اور انہیں وعظ و نصیحت فرمائی اس دوران آپ نے سیدنا بلال رضی اللہ عنہ کے ہاتھوں پر ٹیک لگائی ہوئی تھی سیدنا بلال رضی اللہ عنہ نے اپنا کپڑا پھیلا رکھا تھا جس میں خواتین صدقات ڈالتی جا رہیں تھیں حتی کہ بعض خواتین نے اپنی بالیاں تک ڈال دیں۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Eid-ul-Fitr ke din Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) kharay huye to khutba se pehle namaz parhayi namaz ke baad logon se khitab kiya aur farigh hone ke baad mimbar se utar kar khawateen ke pass tashreef laaye aur unhen waaz o nasihat farmaayi is dauran aap ne Sayyidna Bilal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke hathon par tek lagai hui thi Sayyidna Bilal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne apna kapda phela rakha tha jis mein khawateen sadqaat daalti ja rahi thin hatta ke baaz khawateen ne apni baliyan tak daal din.
It is narrated on the authority of Hadrat Jabir (RA) that once, the Prophet (PBUH) saw a donkey whose face had been branded. The Prophet (PBUH) said: May Allah curse the one who did this.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کے نظر ایک مرتبہ ایک گدھے پر پڑھی جس کے چہرے پر داغا گیا تھا نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ایسا کرنے والے پر اللہ کی لعنت ہو۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke nazar ek martaba ek gadhe par parhi jis ke chehre par daagha gaya tha Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: aisa karne wale par Allah ki laanat ho.
'Abdul Rahman said: I asked Sayyidina Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) about gambling, and he declared it lawful. I asked him: Is this not from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)? He said: Yes!

عبدالرحمن کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے بجو کے متعلق دریافت کیا تو انہوں نے اسے حلال قرار دیا میں نے ان سے پوچھا کہ کیا یہ بات نبی ﷺ کے حوالے سے نہیں ہے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا: جی ہاں!
Abdul Rahman kehte hain ke maine Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se bajoo ke mutalliq daryaft kiya to unhon ne use halal karar diya maine un se poocha ke kya ye baat Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke hawale se nahi hai? Unhon ne farmaya: Ji haan!
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade using the price of a cat.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے بلی کی قیمت استعمال کرنے سے منع فرمایا ہے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne billi ki qeemat istemaal karne se mana farmaya hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "A vow that involves disobedience to Allah, the Exalted, should not be fulfilled."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کی نافرمانی پر مشتمل منت کو پورا نہ کیا جائے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki Allah ta'ala ki nafarmani par mushtamil munt ko poora na kiya jaye.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that a vow that involves disobedience to Allah Almighty should not be fulfilled.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کی نافرمانی پر مشتمل منت کو پورا نہ کیا جائے۔
Saina Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ke Allah Ta'ala ki nafarmani par mushtamil munt ko pora na kiya jaye.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the martyrs of Uhud were being moved from their places, the announcer of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) announced: Return the martyrs to their places.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ جب شہدا احد کو ان کی جگہ سے اٹھایا جانے لگا تو نبی ﷺ کے منادی نے اعلان کر دیا کہ شہدا کو ان کی اپنی جگہوں پر واپس پہنچا دو۔
Syedna Jabir Razi Allaho Anho se marvi hai ki jab shohada uhud ko un ki jaga se uthaya jane laga to Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ke munaddi ne elan kar diya ki shohada ko un ki apni jagaon par wapas pohancha do.
Jabir ibn Abdullah reported: I came to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, for a debt owed by my father. I was like a burning flame (from distress).

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں اپنے والد کے قرض کے سلسلے میں نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا اس وقت میں آگ کا شعلہ بنا ہوا تھا۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki mein apne wald ke qarz ke silsile mein Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir hua us waqt mein aag ka shula bana hua tha.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was delivering a sermon when a man came and sat down. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) instructed him to offer two short rak'ahs (units of prayer). Then he turned to the people and said, "When any one of you arrives while the Imam is delivering a sermon, he should offer two short rak'ahs."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ خطبہ ارشاد فرما رہے تھے کہ سلیک آئے اور بیٹھ گئے نبی ﷺ نے انہیں دو رکعتیں پڑھنے کا حکم دیا پھر لوگوں کی طرف متوجہ ہو کر فرمایا کہ جب تم میں سے کوئی شخص آئے اور امام خطبہ دے رہا ہو تو اسے مختصر دو رکعتیں پڑھ لینی چاہئے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) khutba irshad farma rahe the ki Saleek aaye aur baith gaye Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unhen do rakat namaz padhne ka hukum diya phir logon ki taraf mutawajjah ho kar farmaya ki jab tum mein se koi shakhs aaye aur Imam khutba de raha ho to use mukhtasar do rakat namaz padh leni chahiye.
Narrated by Jabir ibn Abdullah: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: 'Umar is lawful for his people or his people are heirs to him.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ عمری اس کے اہل کے لئے جائز ہے یا اس کے اہل کے لئے میراث ہے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya keh umri is ke ahl ke liye jaiz hai ya is ke ahl ke liye miras hai.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) and Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that they forbade the sale of gold for silver on credit, and two of them attribute this to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

سیدنا ابوسعید جابر رضی اللہ عنہ اور ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ مروی ہے کہ وہ ادھار پر سونے چاندی کی بیع سے منع کرتے تھے اور ان میں سے دو حضرات اس کی نسبت نبی ﷺ کی طرف فرماتے تھے۔
Sayyidna Abusaid Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) aur Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) marvi hai ki woh udhaar par sone chandi ki bay'a se mana karte the aur un mein se do hazrat is ki nisbat Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki taraf farmate the.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Umra is permissible for its people.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: عمری اس کے اہل کے لئے جائز ہے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Umri uske ahl ke liye jaiz hai.
Narrated Jabir: I said, "O Messenger of Allah, I have married a woman." He said, "Why didn't you marry a virgin so that you might play with her?"

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نے عرض کیا: شوہر دیدہ سے میری شادی ہوئی نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ کنواری سے نکاح کیوں نہ کیا کہ تم اس سے کھیلتے؟
Sayyidna Jabir raza Allahu anhu se marvi hai ki ek martaba main ne arz kiya: Shohar deeda se meri shadi hui Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki kunwari se nikah kyun na kiya ki tum us se khelte?.
It was narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "War is deception."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ جنگ قتال کا نام ہے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki jang qatal ka naam hai.
It was narrated from Jabir bin 'Abdullah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "None of you should walk wearing one shoe. Do not eat with your left hand, drape yourself in a single garment leaving some part of the body uncovered, walk with an arrogant gait, or when lying down, place one leg over the other."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: تم میں سے کوئی شخص ایک جوتی پہن کر نہ چلے بائیں ہاتھ سے نہ کھائے ایک کپڑے میں اپنا جسم نہ لپیٹے اور نہ ہی گوٹ مار کے چلے اور جب چت لیٹے تو ایک ٹانگ کو دوسری پر نہ رکھے۔
Saina Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Tum mein se koi shakhs ek jooti pehan kar na chalay bayein hath se na khaye ek kapray mein apna jism na lapete aur na hi got maar ke chalay aur jab chit lete to ek tang ko dusri par na rakhe.
It has been narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Abu Sa'id Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) and Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that they used to forbid the sale of gold for gold or silver for silver on credit, and two of them attributed this prohibition to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

Sayyidna Abusaid Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) aur Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) marvi hai ki woh udhar par sone chandi ki bay'a se mana karte thay aur un me se do hazrat is ki nisbat Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki taraf farmate thay.
It is narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (RA) that once the Prophet (PBUH) led the Companions in Salat al-Khawf (prayer in fear). One row stood facing the enemy and one row behind the Prophet (PBUH). He (PBUH) led those behind him in one rak'ah with one bowing and two prostrations. Then they moved forward and stood in the places of their companions, and those companions came back and stood in their places. The Prophet (PBUH) led them also in one rak'ah with one bowing and two prostrations and finished the prayer with salam. This way, the Prophet (PBUH) prayed two rak'ahs, and those (following him) prayed one rak'ah each (behind him).

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے صحابہ کو صلوۃ الخوف پڑھائی ایک صف دشمن کے سامنے کھڑی ہو گئی اور ایک صف نبی ﷺ کے پیچھے آپ نے اپنے پیچھے والوں کو ایک رکوع اور دو سجدوں کے ساتھ ایک رکعت پڑھائی پھر یہ لوگ آگے بڑھ کر اپنے ساتھیوں کی جگہ پر کھڑے ہو گئے اور وہ لوگ یہاں آ کر ان کی جگہ پر کھڑے ہو گئے اور نبی ﷺ نے انہیں بھی ایک رکوع اور دو سجدوں کے ساتھ ایک رکعت پڑھائی اور سلام پھیر دیا اس طرح نبی ﷺ کی دو رکعتیں ہو گئیں اور ان لوگوں کی (نبی ﷺ کی اقتداء میں) ایک ایک رکعت ہوئی۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Sahaba ko Salat al-khawf parhayi ek saff dushman ke samne khadi ho gayi aur ek saff Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke peechhe aap ne apne peechhe walon ko ek ruku aur do sajdon ke sath ek rakat parhayi phir ye log aage badh kar apne sathiyon ki jagah par khade ho gaye aur wo log yahan aa kar un ki jagah par khade ho gaye aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unhen bhi ek ruku aur do sajdon ke sath ek rakat parhayi aur salam phir diya is tarah Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki do rakaten ho gayin aur un logon ki (Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki iqtida mein) ek ek rakat hui.
Salim bin Abi al-Ja'd said that I asked Jabir ibn 'Abdullah, may Allah be pleased with him, about the number of participants in the Pledge of Ridwan. He said that even if we were one hundred thousand in number, that water would have been sufficient for us. Our number was only one thousand five hundred.

سالم بن ابی الجعد کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے بیعت رضوان کے شرکاء کی تعداد معلوم کی تو انہوں نے فرمایا کہ اگر ہم ایک لاکھ کی تعداد میں بھی ہوتے تو وہ پانی ہمیں کافی ہو جاتا ہماری تعداد صرف ڈیڑھ ہزار تھی۔
Sallum bin Abi al-Jad kahte hain ki maine Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se bai'at ridwan ke shurkawa ki tadaad maloom ki to unhon ne farmaya ki agar hum aik lakh ki tadaad mein bhi hote to wo pani humain kafi ho jata hamari tadaad sirf derh hazar thi.
Abu Nadrah said that Ibn Abbas used to allow temporary marriage (Mut'ah) while Abdullah bin Zubair forbade it. I mentioned this to Jabir bin Abdullah, may Allah be pleased with him, and he said: "We used to practice temporary marriage at the time of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him."

ابونضرہ کہتے ہیں کہ سیدنا ابن عباس متعہ کی اجازت دیتے تھے اور سیدنا عبداللہ بن زبیر اس کی ممانعت فرماتے تھے میں نے سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے اس کا تذکر ہ کیا تو انہوں نے فرمایا کہ ہم نے نبی ﷺ کی موجودگی میں متعہ کیا ہے۔

It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that a child was born to an Ansari man. He wished to name him Muhammad and came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to ask him. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “The Ansar have done well in naming their children after me, but do not adopt my Kunya.”

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک انصار کے یہاں ایک بچہ پیدا ہوا انہوں نے اس کا نام محمد رکھنا چاہا اور نبی ﷺ سے آ کر دریافت کیا تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: انصار نے خوب کیا میرے نام پر اپنا نام رکھ لیا کر و لیکن میری کنیت پر اپنی کنیت مت رکھا کر و۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek Ansar ke yahan ek bachcha paida hua unhon ne is ka naam Muhammad rakhna chaha aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se aakar daryaft kiya to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Ansar ne khoob kiya mere naam par apna naam rakh liya karo lekin meri kunniyat par apni kunniyat mat rakha karo.
It was narrated from Jabir bin 'Abdullah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "When one of you comes home at night, let him not enter suddenly upon his family, so that the woman whose husband is away may remove her body hair, and the unkempt woman may groom herself." And he said: "When one of you comes home, he may be intimate with his wife at any time."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ جب تم رات کے وقت شہر میں داخل ہو تو بلا اطلاع اپنے گھر مت جاؤ تاکہ شوہر کی غیر موجودگی والی عورت اپنے جسم سے بال صاف کر لے اور پراگندہ حال عورت بناؤ سنگھار کر لے۔ اور فرمایا: جب گھر پہنچ جاؤ تو ہر وقت قربت کی اجازت ہے۔
Sayyidaana Jaabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki jab tum raat ke waqt shehar mein dakhil ho to bila ittila apne ghar mat jao taake shohar ki ghair maujoodgi wali aurat apne jism se baal saaf kar le aur paraganda haal aurat banao singhaar kar le. Aur farmaya: Jab ghar pahunch jao to har waqt qurbat ki ijazat hai.
Narrated by Sayyidina Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I knocked on the door of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and asked for permission. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked: Who is it? I said: It's me. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Me, me"? It is as if the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) disliked it.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کے دروازے پر دستک دے کر اجازت طلب کی نبی ﷺ نے پوچھا: کون ہے؟ میں نے کہا کہ میں ہوں نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: کیا میں میں لگائی ہوئی ہے؟ گویا نبی ﷺ نے اسے ناپسند کیا۔
Syedna Jaber Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai keh aik martaba maine Nabi Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ke darwaze per dastak de kar ijazat talab ki Nabi Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne poocha: kon hai? maine kaha keh main hoon Nabi Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne farmaya: kya main main lagai hoi hai? Goya Nabi Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne ise napasand kiya.
Narrated by Sayyidina Jabir (RA), once the Prophet (PBUH) visited me while I was so ill that I was delirious. The Prophet (PBUH) performed ablution and poured that water over me or ordered it to be poured. I regained consciousness and said: "O Messenger of Allah! I have no heir except for 'Kalalah' (a person with no ascendants or descendants). How will the inheritance be divided?" Upon this, the verse of inheritance was revealed.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ میرے یہاں تشریف لائے میں اس وقت اتنا بیمار تھا کہ ہو ش و حواس سے بیگانہ تھا نبی ﷺ نے وضو کر کے وہ پانی مجھ پر بہا دیا یا بہانے کا حکم دے دیا مجھے ہو ش آگیا اور میں نے عرض کیا: کہ میرے ورثاء میں تو سوائے " کلالہ " کے کوئی نہیں میراث کیسے تقسیم ہو گی؟ اس پر تقسیم وراثت والی آیت نازل ہوئی۔
Saina Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ke ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) mere yahan tashreef laye mein us waqt itna bimar tha ke hosh o hawas se begana tha Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne wuzu kar ke wo pani mujh par baha diya ya bahane ka hukum de diya mujhe hosh aagya aur maine arz kiya: ke mere warisai mein to siwaye " Kalalah " ke koi nahin miras kaise taqseem ho gi? Is par taqseem warasat wali ayat nazil hui.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (RA) that when my father passed away, I began to remove the cloth from his face, but the people stopped me. However, the Prophet (PBUH) did not stop me. My paternal aunt Fatima bint Amr began to weep. The Prophet (PBUH) said: "Do not weep, for the angels continuously cast their wings' shade over him until you lifted him."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ جب میرے والد صاحب شہید ہوئے تو میں ان کے چہرے سے کپڑا ہٹانے لگا لوگوں نے مجھے منع کر دیا لیکن نبی ﷺ نے منع نہیں کیا میری پھوپھی فاطمہ بنت عمرو رونے لگی نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ تم آہ و بکاہ نہ کر و فرشتے اس پر اپنے پروں سے مسلسل سائے کئے رہے یہاں تک کہ تم نے اسے اٹھا لیا۔
Sayyida Jaabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki jab mere walid sahab shaheed hue to main un ke chehre se kapda hatane laga logon ne mujhe mana kar diya lekin Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mana nahi kiya meri phoophi Fatimah bint Amr rone lagi Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki tum aahein o bukaah na karo farishtey us par apne paron se musalsal saaye kiye rahe yahan tak ki tum ne use utha liya.
Narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that how did the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) perform Ghusl (ritual bath)? He replied that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would pour water over his head three times. A man from the Banu Hashim said that my hair is very long. Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had more hair on his head in number and also in thickness than you.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کس طرح غسل فرماتے تھے؟ انہوں نے جواب دیا کہ نبی ﷺ تین مرتبہ اپنے سر سے پانی بہاتے تھے بنو ہاشم کے ایک صاحب کہنے لگے کہ میرے تو بال بہت لمبے ہیں؟ سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ عنہنے فرمایا کہ نبی ﷺ نے سر مبارک میں تعداد کے اعتبار سے بھی تم سے زیادہ بال تھے اور مہک کے اعتبار سے بھی سب سے زیادہ تھے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) kis tarah ghusl farmate thy? Unhon ne jawab diya ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) teen martaba apne sar se pani bahaty thy. Banu Hashim ke ek sahib kehne lage ki mere to baal bahut lambe hain? Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne farmaya ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne sar mubarak mein tadaad ke aitbaar se bhi tum se ziada baal thy aur mahak ke aitbaar se bhi sab se ziada thy.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said regarding the martyrs of Uhud: "Do not wash them, because on the Day of Resurrection, musk will be emanating from each of their wounds and blood." And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not offer their funeral prayer.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ شہدا احد کے متعلق فرمایا کہ انہیں غسل مت دو کیونکہ قیامت کے دن ان کے ہر زخم اور خون سے مشک آرہی ہو گی اور نبی ﷺ نے ان کی نماز جنازہ بھی نہیں پڑھائی۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Shuhada Uhud ke mutalliq farmaya ki unhen ghusul mat do kyunki qayamat ke din un ke har zakhm aur khoon se mushk aa rahi hogi aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne un ki namaz janaza bhi nahi parhayi.
Narrated by Jabir bin 'Abdullah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that once an Ansari man came to offer prayer and with him were his two camels carrying water. The sun had set, and Mu'adh bin Jabal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) was leading the Maghrib prayer. This man also joined the prayer. Mu'adh (رضي الله تعالى عنه) started reciting either Surah Al-Baqarah or Surah An-Nisa. Seeing this, the man prayed separately and left. Later, he learned that Mu'adh (رضي الله تعالى عنه) had said something about him. So he went to the Prophet (PBUH) and mentioned this. The Prophet (PBUH) twice said to Mu'adh (رضي الله تعالى عنه), "Do you want to put people in hardship? Why don't you recite Surah A'la and Surah Ash-Shams? There are elderly, weak, and needy people behind you."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ ایک انصاری نماز کے لئے آیا اس کے ساتھ اس کے دو پانی والے اونٹ بھی تھے سورج غروب ہو چکا تھا اور سیدنا معاذ بن جبل مغرب کی نماز پڑھ رہے تھے وہ بھی نماز میں شریک ہو گیا ادھر سیدنا معاذ نے سورت بقرہ یا سورت النساء شروع کی اس آدمی نے یہ دیکھ کر اپنی نماز پڑھی اور چلا گیا بعد میں اسے پتہ چلا کہ سیدنا معاذ نے اس کے متعلق کچھ کہا ہے اس نے یہ بات جا کر نبی ﷺ سے ذکر کر دی نبی ﷺ نے ان سے دو مرتبہ فرمایا: معاذ کیا تم لوگوں کو فتنہ میں مبتلا کرنا چاہتے ہو تم سورت اعلی اور سورت الشمس کیوں نہیں پڑھتے؟ کہ تمہارے پیچھے بوڑھے ضرورت مند اور کمزور لوگ بھی ہوتے ہیں۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek martaba ek Ansaari Namaz ke liye aaya uske sath uske do paani wale unt bhi thay Sooraj ghuroob ho chuka tha aur Sayyidna Muaz bin Jabal Maghrib ki Namaz parh rahe thay wo bhi Namaz mein sharik ho gaya udhar Sayyidna Muaz ne Surah Baqarah ya Surah Nisa shuru ki is aadmi ne yeh dekh kar apni Namaz parhi aur chala gaya baad mein use pata chala ki Sayyidna Muaz ne uske mutalliq kuch kaha hai usne yeh baat ja kar Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se zikar kar di Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unse do martaba farmaya: Muaz kya tum logon ko fitna mein mubtala karna chahte ho tum Surah A'la aur Surah Shams kyun nahi parhte? ki tumhare piche buddhe zaroorat mand aur kamzor log bhi hotay hain.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (RA) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not consider it suitable (for a traveler) to return home at night.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ رات کے وقت اپنے گھر واپس آنے کو (مسافر کے لئے) اچھا نہیں سمجھتے تھے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) raat ke waqt apne ghar wapas aane ko (musafir ke liye) achha nahin samajhte the.
Narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that during a journey, I offered my camel to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). When we returned to Madinah, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to me, "Go and pray two rak'ahs in the mosque and come back." Then he instructed me to weigh and pay for it. He would tilt the scale and there would always be something left for me, even though the people of Syria took it on the Day of Harrah.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک سفر میں میں نے نبی ﷺ کو اپنا اونٹ بھیج دیا مدینہ منورہ واپس پہنچ کر نبی ﷺ نے مجھ سے فرمایا کہ جا کر مسجد میں دو رکعتیں پڑھ کر آؤ پھر آپ نے مجھے وزن کر کے پیسے دینے کا حکم دیا اور جھکتا ہوا تولا اور ہمیشہ میرے پاس اس میں سے کچھ نہ کچھ ضرور رہا حالانکہ حرہ کے دن اہل شام اسے لے گئے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek safar mein maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko apna unt bhij diya Madina Munawwara wapas pahunch kar Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mujh se farmaya ki ja kar masjid mein do rakaten padh kar aao phir aap ne mujhe wazan kar ke paise dene ka hukum diya aur jhukta hua tola aur hamesha mere pass is mein se kuch na kuch zaroor raha halanki Harah ke din ahle Sham ise le gaye.
It is narrated by Jabir (RA) that once the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was on a journey. On the way, he saw that people had gathered around a man and were providing him shade. Upon inquiring, the people told him that the man was observing a fast. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said: "There is no virtue in fasting while on a journey."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ کسی سفر میں تھے راستے میں دیکھا کہ لوگوں نے ایک آدمی کے گرد بھیڑ لگائی ہوئی ہے اور اس پر سایہ کیا جارہا ہے پوچھنے پر لوگوں نے بتایا کہ یہ روزے سے تھا نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: سفر میں روزہ رکھنا کوئی نیکی نہیں ہے۔
Sayyidaana Jaabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) kisi safar mein the raste mein dekha ki logon ne ek aadmi ke gird bheer lagai hui hai aur is par saya kiya ja raha hai puchne par logon ne bataya ki yah rozey se tha Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Safar mein roza rakhna koi neki nahi hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Jabir (RA) that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: When you enter the city at night, do not go to your house unannounced. Sayyidina Jabir (RA) said: By Allah, after him, we began to enter our houses at night.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ جب تم رات کے وقت شہر میں داخل ہو تو بلا اطلاع اپنے گھر مت جاؤ سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں واللہ ہم ان کے بعد رات کو اپنے گھروں میں داخل ہو نے لگے۔
Sayidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya keh jab tum raat ke waqt sheher mein dakhil ho to bila ittila apne ghar mat jao Sayidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehte hain Wallahu hum un ke baad raat ko apne gharon mein dakhil hone lage.
Narrated Jabir bin Abdullah: During a journey, I was riding my tired camel. I thought of leaving it free in some forest. In the meantime, the Prophet (ﷺ) caught up with me. He struck it with his foot and invoked Allah for it. Suddenly, it became so fast as it had never been before. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Sell this camel to me for one Uqiyah (of gold)." I did not consider it appropriate to sell it, but when the Prophet (ﷺ) asked me for the second time to sell it to him, I sold it to him, with the condition that I would ride it back to my home. On reaching back (Madinah), I presented myself before the Prophet (ﷺ). The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "When I was bargaining with you, did you think that I would take away your camel (without paying you its price)? Take both your camel and its price; these are for you."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک سفر میں میں اپنے ایک تھکے ہوئے اونٹ پر چلا جارہا تھا میں نے سوچا کہ اس اونٹ کو آزاد کر کے کسی جنگل میں چھوڑ دوں کہ اتنی دیر میں نبی ﷺ میرے پاس آپہنچے اور اسے اپنی ٹانگ سے ٹھوکر مار کر اس کے لئے دعاء کی وہ یکدم ایسا تیز رفتار ہو گیا کہ اس سے پہلے کبھی نہیں تھا نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: یہ اونٹ مجھے ایک او قیہ چاندی کے عوض بیچ دو میں نے اسے فروخت کرنا مناسب نہ سمجھا لیکن جب نبی ﷺ نے دوبارہ فرمایا کہ یہ مجھے بیچ دو تو میں نے اسے نبی ﷺ کے ہاتھ بیچ دیا اور یہ شرط کر لی کہ میں اپنے گھر تک اسی پر سوار ہو کر جاؤں گا واپس پہنچنے کے بعد میں نبی ﷺ کے پاس لے کر پہنچا تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: جس وقت میں تم سے سودا کر رہا تھا تو تم یہ سمجھ رہے تھے کہ میں تمہارے اونٹ کو لے جاؤں گا اپنا اونٹ اور قیمت دونوں لے جاؤ یہ دونوں چیزیں تمہاری ہیں
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki aik safar mein mein apne aik thake huye unt par chala ja raha tha mein ne socha ki is unt ko azad kar ke kisi jungle mein chhor dun ki itni dair mein Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) mere paas aa pahunche aur ise apni tang se thokar maar kar is ke liye dua ki woh yakdam aisa tez raftar ho gaya ki is se pehle kabhi nahi tha Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Yeh unt mujhe aik oqiya chandi ke awaz bech do mein ne ise farokht karna munasib na samjha lekin jab Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne dobara farmaya ki yeh mujhe bech do to mein ne ise Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke hath bech diya aur yeh shart kar li ki mein apne ghar tak isi par sawar ho kar jaunga wapas pahunchne ke baad mein Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke paas le kar pahuncha to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Jis waqt mein tum se sauda kar raha tha to tum yeh samajh rahe the ki mein tumhare unt ko le jaunga apna unt aur qeemat dono le jao yeh dono cheezen tumhari hain.
Narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him), an Ansar man gifted a date garden to his mother until the Day of Judgment. When his mother passed away, his brothers came and said that they all have an equal share in it, but he refused. People presented this case to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), so the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) divided it among all of them as inheritance.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک انصار آدمی نے اپنی والدہ کو تا قیامت کھجور کا ایک باغ دے دیا جب اس کی والدہ کا انتقال ہو گیا تو اس کے بھائی آئے اور کہنے لگے کہ ہم سب کا اس میں برابر کا حصہ ہے لیکن اس نے انکار کر دیا لوگ یہ مقدمہ لے کر نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے تو نبی ﷺ نے اسے ان سب کے درمیان وراثت کے طور پر تقسیم فرما دیا۔
Sayyida Jaabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek Ansar aadmi ne apni walida ko ta qayamat khajoor ka ek bagh de diya jab uski walida ka inteqal ho gaya to uske bhai aaye aur kahne lage ki hum sab ka ismein barabar ka hissa hai lekin usne inkar kar diya log ye muqadma lekar Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir huye to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne use un sab ke darmiyaan wirasat ke taur par taqseem farma diya.
It was narrated from Jabir bin 'Abdullah that the Prophet said: "None of you should put one leg over the other when he sits."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: جب تم میں سے کوئی شخص بیٹھے یا چت لیٹے تو ایک ٹانگ پر دوسری ٹانگ نہ رکھے۔
Sayyidina Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Jab tum mein se koi shakhs baithe ya chit lete to aik tang par dusri tang na rakhe.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (RA) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade making Nabidh by mixing unripe dates, ripe dates, raisins and dates.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے کچی اور پکی کھجوریں کشمش اور کھجور کو ملا کر نبیذ بنانے سے منع فرمایا ہے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne kachi aur pakki khajoorein kishmish aur khajoor ko mila kar nabiz banane se mana farmaya hai.
It was narrated from Jabir bin ‘Abdullah that: I saw the Prophet (ﷺ) praying a voluntary prayer, facing eastwards on his mount during the Ghazwah of Anmar.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ غزوہ انمار میں اپنی سواری پر مشرق کی جانب رخ کر کے نفل نماز پڑھتے ہوئے دیکھا ہے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Ghazwah Anmar mein apni sawari par mashriq ki jaanib rukh kar ke nafl namaz parhte huye dekha hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade handing over a naked sword (without a sheath) to one another.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ننگی تلوار (بغیر نیام کے) ایک دوسرے کو پکڑنے سے منع فرمایا ہے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne nangi talwar (baghair niyam ke) ek dusre ko pakadne se mana farmaya hai.
Narrated Jabir bin Abdullah: Once Muadh bin Jabal led the people in Fajr prayer and recited Surah Al-Baqarah in it. The Prophet (ﷺ) said to him twice, "O Muadh! Do you want to put the people to trial?"

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ سیدنا معاذ بن جبل نے لوگوں کو نماز فجر پڑھاتے ہوئے اس میں سورت بقرہ شروع کر دی نبی ﷺ نے ان سے دو مرتبہ فرمایا: معاذتم لوگوں کو فتنہ میں مبتلا کرنا چاہتے ہو۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek martaba Sayyidna Muaz bin Jabal ne logon ko namaz fajr parhate hue is mein Surah Baqarah shuru kar di Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne un se do martaba farmaya: Muaz tum logon ko fitna mein mubtala karna chahte ho.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about removing pebbles during prayer, so he said: "You can only level it once, and if you do not even do that, then it is better for you than a hundred camels, all of whose pupils are black."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ سے دوران نماز کنکر یاں ہٹانے کے متعلق پوچھا: تو فرمایا کہ صرف ایک مرتبہ برابر کر سکتے ہواور اگر یہ بھی نہ کر و تو یہ تمہارے حق میں ایسی سو اونٹنیوں سے بہتر ہے جن سب کی آنکھوں کی پتلیاں سیاہ ہوں۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se dauran namaz kankar yaan hatane ke mutalliq pucha: to farmaya ki sirf ek martaba barabar kar sakte hain, aur agar ye bhi na karo to ye tumhare haq mein aisi sau untniyon se behtar hai jin sab ki aankhon ki putliyan siyah hon.
It is narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) fell from a horse onto a branch or trunk of a date palm tree and sprained his foot. We went to visit the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and found him leading the prayer. We joined him and prayed standing. When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) finished the prayer, he said: "The Imam is appointed to be followed, so if he prays standing, then pray standing, and if he prays sitting, then pray sitting. And if he is sitting, then do not stand as the Persians do with their kings and elders."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ گھوڑے سے گر کر کھجور کی ایک شاخ یا تنے پر گرگئے اور پاؤں میں موچ آگئی ہم لوگ نبی ﷺ کی عیادت کے لئے تشریف لے گئے تو وہاں آپ کو نماز پڑھاتے ہوئے دیکھا ہم بھی اس میں شریک ہوئے اور کھڑے ہو کر نماز پڑھی نبی ﷺ نے نماز سے فارغ ہو کر فرمایا: امام کو تو مقرر ہی اس لئے کیا جاتا ہے کہ اس کی اقتداء کی جائے اس لئے اگر وہ کھڑے ہو کر نماز پڑھے تو تم بھی کھڑے ہو کر نماز پڑھو اگر وہ بیٹھ کر نماز پڑھے تو تم بھی بیٹھ کر نماز پڑھو اگر وہ بیٹھا ہو تو تم کھڑے نہ رہا کر و جیسا کہ اہل فارس اپنے روساء اور بڑوں کے ساتھ کرتے ہیں۔
Sayyadna Jaber Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai keh aik martaba Nabi Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ghoray se gir kar khajoor ki aik shakh ya tanay par gir gaye aur paon mein moch aa gayi hum log Nabi Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ki ayadat ke liye tashreef le gaye to wahan aap ko namaz parhate huye dekha hum bhi us mein sharik huye aur kharay ho kar namaz parhi Nabi Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne namaz se farigh ho kar farmaya: Imam ko to muqarrar hi is liye kiya jata hai keh us ki iqtida ki jaye is liye agar woh kharay ho kar namaz parhay to tum bhi kharay ho kar namaz parho agar woh baith kar namaz parhay to tum bhi baith kar namaz parho agar woh baitha ho to tum kharay na raha karo jaisa keh ahl Faris apne rusa aur baron ke sath karte hain.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (RA) that the Prophet (PBUH) used to deliver the sermon while leaning against the trunk of a date palm tree. An Ansari woman, whose slave was a carpenter, said: "O Messenger of Allah! My slave is a carpenter. Shall I not order him to make a pulpit for you so that you may deliver the sermon from it?" He (PBUH) replied: "Yes, why not?" So, the pulpit was made, and on Friday, when the Prophet (PBUH) came to deliver the sermon from it, the trunk that he used to lean against started to cry like a child. The Prophet (PBUH) said: "It is crying because the remembrance of Allah has been lost from it."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ ایک کجھور کے تنے کے ساتھ ٹیک لگا کر خطبہ دیا کرتے تھے ایک انصاری عورت جس کا غلام بڑھی تھا اس نے کہا یا رسول اللہ! میرا غلام بڑھائی ہے کیا میں اسے آپ کے لئے منبر بنانے کا حکم نہ دیدوں کہ اس پر خطبہ ارشاد فرمایا: کر یں نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: کیوں نہیں چنانچہ منبر تیار ہو گیا اور جمعہ کے دن نبی ﷺ اس پر خطبہ دینے کے لئے تشریف فرما ہوئے تو وہ ستون جس کے ساتھ آپ ٹیک لگایا کرتے تھے بچے کی طرح بلک بلک کر رونے لگا نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ یہ اس لئے رو رہا ہے کہ ذکر الٰہی اس کے پاس سے مفقود ہو گیا۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ek khajoor ke tane ke sath tek laga kar khutba diya karte the ek Ansaari aurat jiska ghulam badhi tha usne kaha Ya Rasulullah mera ghulam badhai hai kya main use aap ke liye mimbar banane ka hukum na dedun ke us par khutba irshad farmaya karen Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya kyun nahi chunanchi mimbar taiyar ho gaya aur jumma ke din Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) us par khutba dene ke liye tashrif farma hue to woh sutun jis ke sath aap tek lagaya karte the bacche ki tarah balk balk kar rone laga Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ke yeh is liye ro raha hai ke zikr ilahi uske pass se mafqood ho gaya.
Narrated by Jabir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever among you fears that he may not get up in the last part of the night, let him pray Witr in the first part of the night. And whoever hopes to get up in the last part of the night, let him pray it then, for prayer in the last part of the night is witnessed (by the angels) and that is preferable."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”تم میں سے جس شخص کا غالب گمان یہ ہو کہ وہ رات کے آخری حصے میں بیدار نہ ہو سکے گا، تو اسے رات کے اول حصہ ہی میں وتر پڑھ لینا چاہیے اور جسے آخر رات میں جاگنے کا غالب گمان ہو، تو اسے آخر میں ہی وتر پڑھنے چاہیے کیونکہ رات کے آخری حصہ میں نماز کے وقت فرشتے حاضر ہوتے ہیں اور یہ افضل طریقہ ہے۔“
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Tum mein se jis shakhs ka ghalib guman yeh ho ki woh raat ke aakhri hisse mein bedar na ho sakega, to use raat ke awwal hissa hi mein witr parh lena chahiye aur jise aakhir raat mein jaagne ka ghalib guman ho, to use aakhir mein hi witr parhne chahiye kyunki raat ke aakhri hissa mein namaz ke waqt farishte hazir hote hain aur yeh afzal tarika hai.“
Narrated Jabir (RA): The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "You have left behind some people in Medina and no doubt, whatever valley or mountain you cross (in this journey) they will share the reward with you though they have been prevented (from participating in Jihad) because of illness."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”تم لوگ مدینہ میں کچھ ایسے ساتھی بھی چھوڑ کر آئے ہو کہ تم جو وادی بھی طے کرتے ہو اور جس راستے پر بھی چلتے ہو وہ اجر و ثواب میں تمہارے ساتھ برابر کے شریک ہوتے ہیں انہیں بیماری نے روک رکھا ہے۔“
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Tum log Madina mein kuch aise saathi bhi chhod kar aaye ho ki tum jo wadi bhi tay karte ho aur jis raste par bhi chalte ho woh ajr o sawab mein tumhare saath barabar ke sharik hote hain unhen bimari ne rok rakha hai.“.
Narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (RA) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "I have been ordered to fight against people until they testify that there is none worthy of worship but Allah. When they do so, they will have saved their lives and possessions from me, except for the rights of Islam, and their reckoning will be with Allah." Then the Prophet (ﷺ) recited this verse: “Therefore, remind and admonish, for you are only a reminder. You are not a watcher over them.”

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”مجھے حکم دیا گیا ہے، میں لوگوں سے اس وقت تک قتال کرتا رہوں جب تک وہ «لا اله الا الله» نہ پڑھ لیں، جب وہ یہ کام کر لیں تو انہوں نے اپنی جان و مال کو مجھ سے محفوظ کر لیا، سوائے اس کلمہ حق کے اور ان کا حساب کتاب اللہ کے ذمہ ہو گا۔“ پھر نبی ﷺ نے یہ آیت تلاوت فرمائی: ”آپ نصیحت کیجیے کیونکہ آپ کا کام ہی نصیحت ہی کرنا ہےلیکن آپ ان پر داروغہ نہیں ہیں۔“
Saina Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: “Mujhe hukum diya gaya hai, main logon se us waqt tak qital karta rahun jab tak woh “La ilaha illallah” na parh lein, jab woh yeh kaam kar lein to unhon ne apni jaan o maal ko mujh se mahfooz kar liya, siwaye is kalma haq ke aur unka hisab kitab Allah ke zimma ho ga.” Phir Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne yeh ayat tilawat farmai: “Aap nasihat kijiye kyunki aapka kaam hi nasihat hi karna hai lakin aap un per darogha nahin hain.”
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that some people asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about the most virtuous Jihad. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied: "That of the person whose horse's legs are cut off and his own blood is shed."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ کچھ لوگوں نے نبی ﷺ سے پوچھا کہ سب سے افضل جہاد کون سا ہے؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”اس شخص کا جس کے گھوڑے کے پاؤں کٹ جائیں اور اس کا اپنا خون بہہ جائے۔“
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki kuch logon ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se pucha ki sab se afzal jihad kaun sa hai? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Iss shakhs ka jis ke ghore ke paon kat jayen aur is ka apna khoon beh jaye."
It is narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that during the digging of the trench, three days passed over the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and his companions in a state that they did not taste anything. While digging the trench, at one point the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) submitted: "O Messenger of Allah! There is a rock of the mountain here." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Sprinkle water on it." They sprinkled water on it. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came and picked up the spade and recited Bismillah and struck it three times. At that very moment, the rock broke apart and turned into a mound of sand. Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) says that when I paid attention, I saw that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had a stone tied to his blessed stomach.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ خندق کھودنے کے موقع پر نبی ﷺ اور آپ کے صحابہ پر تین دن اس حال میں گزر گئے کہ انہوں نے کوئی چیز نہیں چکھی، خندق کھودتے ہوئے ایک موقع پر صحابہ رضی اللہ عنہم نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! یہاں پر پہاڑ کی ایک چٹان آ گئی ہے، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ اس پر پانی چھڑک دو، انہوں نے اس پر پانی چھڑک دیا، پھر نبی ﷺ تشریف لائے اور کدال پکڑ کر بسم اللہ پڑھی اور اس پر تین ضربیں لگائیں، اسی لمحے وہ چٹان ٹوٹ کر ریت کا ٹیلہ بن گئی سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے غور کیا تو اس وقت نبی ﷺ نے اپنے بطن مبارک پر پتھر باندھ رکھا تھا۔
Sayyidina Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Khandaq khodne ke mauqe par Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) aur aap ke Sahaba par teen din is hal mein guzar gaye ki unhon ne koi cheez nahi chakhi, Khandaq khodte hue ek mauqe par Sahaba (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne arz kiya: Ya Rasulullah! yahan par pahar ki ek chatan aa gayi hai, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki is par pani chhirak do, unhon ne is par pani chhirak diya, phir Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) tashreef laaye aur kudal pakad kar Bismillah padhi aur is par teen zarben lagayin, isi lamhe woh chatan toot kar ret ka teela ban gayi Sayyidina Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kahte hain ki main ne gौर kiya to is waqt Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne apne batn mubarak par pathar bandh rakha tha.
