It is narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (RA) that once we were with the Prophet (PBUH) at the house of an Ansari woman, having a meal. The Prophet (PBUH) said, "A man from Paradise will come to you shortly." After a while, Sayyiduna Siddiq Akbar (RA) arrived. Then the Prophet (PBUH) said, "Another man from Paradise will come to you shortly." A short while later, Sayyiduna Umar (RA) arrived. Then the Prophet (PBUH) again said, "Another man from Paradise will come to you shortly," and he (PBUH) started saying, "O Allah, if You will it, let the one who comes be Ali." And so, Sayyiduna Ali (RA) arrived. Then the food was served, which we ate. Then we got up for the Zuhr (afternoon) prayer, and none of us performed ablution. After the prayer, the remaining food was brought. Then we got up for the Asr (late afternoon) prayer, and none of us even touched water for ablution.
سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ ہم لوگ نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ ایک انصاری خاتون کے یہاں دعوت کھانے میں شریک تھے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ابھی تمہارے پاس ایک جنتی آدمی آئے گا تھوڑی دیر بعد سیدنا صدیق اکبر تشریف لائے پھر نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ابھی تمہارے پاس ایک اور جنتی آدمی آئے گا تھوڑ دیر بعد سیدنا عمر تشریف لائے پھر نبی ﷺ نے پھر فرمایا کہ ابھی تمہارے تمہارے پاس ایک اور جنتی آدمی آئے گا اور فرمانے لگے کہ اے اللہ اگر تو چاہتا تو آنے والا علی ہوتا چنانچہ سیدنا علی ہی آئے پھر کھانالایا گیا جو ہم نے کھالیا پھر ہم نماز ظہر کے لئے اٹھے اور ہم میں سے کسی نے بھی وضو نہیں کیا نماز کے بعد باقی ماندہ کھانا لایا گیا پھر نماز عصر کے لئے اٹھے تو ہم میں سے کسی نے پانی کو ہاتھ تک نہیں لگایا۔

Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah: Once we proceeded with the Prophet (ﷺ) for Hajj uttering Talbiyah. When we reached Mecca, we performed Tawaf of the Ka'ba and Sa'i of Safa and Marwa. Then the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Whoever amongst you does not have an animal for sacrifice, should finish his Ihram." So we took off our Ihram, put on our sewn clothes, applied perfume and went to our wives. On the 8th of Dhul-Hijja we again put on Ihram for Hajj. In the meantime, Suraqa bin Malik bin Ja'sham came and said, "O Allah's Messenger! Is the order for Umra only for this year or forever?" The Prophet (ﷺ) replied, "It is forever."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ ہم لوگ نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ حج کا تلبیہ پڑھتے ہوئے روانہ ہوئے جب ہم مکہ مکر مہ پہنچے تو ہم نے خانہ کعبہ کا طواف کیا صفامروہ کی سعی کی اور نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: جس شخص کے پاس قربانی کا جانور نہ ہو وہ اپنا احرام کھول لے چنانچہ اس کے بعد ہم اپنی بیویوں کے پاس بھی گئے سلے ہوئے کپڑے بھی پہنے اور خوشبو بھی لگائی۔ آٹھ ذی الحجہ کو ہم نے حج کا احرام باندھا اسی دوران سیدنا سراقہ بن مالک بھی آ گئے اور کہنے لگے یارسول اللہ کیا عمرہ کا صرف حکم اس سال کے لئے ہے یا ہمیشہ کے لئے؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ ہمیشہ کے لئے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek martaba hum log Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath Hajj ka talbiyah padhte hue rawana hue jab hum Makkah Mukarramah pahunche to humne Khana Kaba ka tawaf kiya Safa Marwah ki saee ki aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Jis shakhs ke pass qurbani ka janwar na ho woh apna ehram khol le chunanche uske baad hum apni biwiyon ke pass bhi gaye sile hue kapde bhi pehne aur khushbu bhi lagai. Aath Zil Hajj ko humne Hajj ka ehram bandha usi dauran Sayyidna Siraqah bin Malik bhi aa gaye aur kehne lage Ya Rasul Allah kya Umrah ka sirf hukm is saal ke liye hai ya hamesha ke liye? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki hamesha ke liye.
Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: If I live after this year, I will certainly forbid people from keeping the names Baraka, Yasar and Nafi'.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا کہ اگر میں زندہ رہا تو ان شاء اللہ سختی سے لوگوں کو برکت اور یسار اور نافع جیسے نام رکھنے سے منع کر دوں گا۔
Saina Jabir Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai ki Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne irshad farmaya ki agar mein zinda raha to inshallah sakhti se logon ko barkat aur yaasar aur nafe jese naam rakhne se mana kar dun ga.
Narrated Jabir bin Samurah (RA): The Prophet (ﷺ) asked Ibn Sayyad, "O Ibn Sayyad, what do you see?" He replied, "I see a throne over the water, around which there are snakes." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "That is the throne of Iblis."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ابن صائد سے پوچھا کہ اے ابن صائد تو کیا دیکھتا ہے اس نے کہا کہ میں پانی پر ایک تخت دیکھتا ہوں جس کے اردگرد سانپ ہیں نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ وہ ابلیس کا تخت ہے۔
Sayyedna Jabir razi Allah anhu se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Ibn Sayyed se poocha keh aye Ibn Sayyed tu kya dekhta hai usne kaha keh mein pani par ek takht dekhta hun jis ke ird gird sanp hain Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya keh woh iblees ka takht hai.
It is narrated by Sayyidna Jabir Radi Allahu Anhu that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) sent me on some errand. I went, and when I came back after finishing the work, I greeted the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), but he did not respond. When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) finished the prayer, I submitted: "O Messenger of Allaah! I greeted you, but you did not respond." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "I was praying at that time." At that time, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was on his ride and was not facing the Qibla.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے مجھے اپنے کسی کام سے بھیجا میں چلا گیا جب وہ کام کر کے واپس آیا تو نبی ﷺ کو سلام کیا لیکن انہوں نے جواب نہ دیا جب نبی ﷺ نماز سے فارغ ہوئے تو میں نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! میں نے آپ کو سلام کیا تھا لیکن آپ نے جواب نہیں دیا نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ میں اس وقت نماز پڑھ رہا تھا اس وقت نبی ﷺ اپنی سواری پر تھے اور جانب قبلہ رخ نہ تھا۔
Sayyidna Jabir Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mujhe apne kisi kaam se bheja main chala gaya jab woh kaam kar ke wapas aaya to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko salam kiya lekin unhon ne jawab nahi diya jab Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) namaz se farigh huye to maine arz kiya Ya Rasulullah maine aap ko salam kiya tha lekin aap ne jawab nahi diya Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki main us waqt namaz parh raha tha us waqt Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) apni sawari par the aur janib qibla rukh na tha.
Narrated by Jabir ibn Abdullah: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When you go to bed at night, close your doors, cover your utensils, extinguish your lamps, and tie up your waterskins, for Satan cannot open a closed door, nor can he uncover a cover, nor can he untie a knot, and sometimes a mouse can be the cause of burning down the whole house.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ رات کو سوتے وقت دروازے بند کر لیا کر و اور برتنوں کو ڈھانپ دیا کر و اور چراغ بجھادیا کر و اور مشکیزوں کا منہ باندھ دیا کر و کیونکہ شیطان بند دروازہ کو نہیں کھول سکتا کوئی پردہ نہیں ہٹاسکتا کوئی بندھن نہیں کھول سکتا اور بعض اوقات ایک چوہا پورے گھر کو جلانے کا سبب بن جاتا ہے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki raat ko sote waqt darwaze band kar liya karo aur bartanoun ko dhaanp diya karo aur charagh bujha diya karo aur mashkizon ka munh bandh diya karo kyunki shaitan band darwaza ko nahin khol sakta koi parda nahin hata sakta koi bandhan nahin khol sakta aur baaz auqaat ek chuha pure ghar ko jalane ka sabab ban jata hai.
It is narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade the eating of sacrificial meat after three days. Then he said: Now eat it, make it provision for your journey, and store it.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے تین دن کے بعد قربانی کا گوشت کھانے سے منع فرما دیا تھا بعد میں فرمایا کہ اب اسے کھاؤ زاد راہ بناؤ اور ذخیرہ کر و۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne teen din ke baad qurbani ka gosht khane se mana farma diya tha baad mein farmaya ki ab ise khao zad raah banao aur zakhira kar lo.
Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah: The Prophet (ﷺ) started Tawaf from the corner where the Black Stone is. He walked at a brisk pace till he came back to the Black Stone. He performed Ramal in three rounds.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے حجر اسود والے کونے سے طواف شروع کیا رمل کرتے ہوئے چلے آئے یہاں تک کہ دوبارہ حجر اسود پر آ گئے اس طرح تین چکر وں میں رمل کیا۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Hajar Aswad wale kone se tawaf shuru kiya raml karte hue chale aaye yahan tak ki dobara Hajar Aswad par aa gaye is tarah teen chakaron mein raml kiya.
It is narrated on the authority of Hadhrat Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) left Masjid al-Haram and went towards Safa, I heard him say, "We will start from where Allah started."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ جب نبی ﷺ مسجد حرام سے نکل کر صفا کی طرف جانے لگے تو میں نے آپ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا کہ ہم وہیں سے ابتداء کر یں گے جہاں سے اللہ نے ابتداء کی ہے (پہلے ذکر کیا ہے)۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki jab Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Masjid Haram se nikal kar Safa ki taraf jane lage to maine aap ko ye farmate huye suna ki hum wahin se ibtida karenge jahan se Allah ne ibtida ki hai (pehle zikr kiya hai).
Narrated by Sayyidina Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that whenever the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood on the hills of Safa and Marwah, he would say Allahu Akbar three times and then recite these words: There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah, He is One, He has no partners, His is the dominion and to Him is all praise, and He has power over all things. In another narration, it is also mentioned that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would supplicate after doing this three times and would repeat the same on Marwah.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ جب بھی صفامروہ پہاڑی پر کھڑے ہوتے تو تین مرتبہ اللہ اکبر کہتے اور پھر یہ کلمات پڑھتے کہ اللہ کے علاوہ کوئی معبود نہیں ہے وہ اکیلا ہے اس کا کوئی شریک نہیں ہے حکومت اسی کی ہے اور تمام تعریفیں بھی اسی کی ہیں وہ ہر چیز پر قادر ہے ایک دوسری سند میں یہ بھی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ تین مرتبہ اس طرح کرنے کے بعد دعا فرماتے اور مروہ پر بھی یہی دہراتے تھے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) jab bhi Safa Marwah pahari par kharay hote to teen martaba Allahu Akbar kahte aur phir ye kalmat parhte ki Allah ke ilawa koi mabood nahi hai woh akela hai is ka koi sharik nahi hai hukumat isi ki hai aur tamam tareefain bhi isi ki hain woh har cheez par qadir hai ek dusri sand mein ye bhi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) teen martaba is tarah karne ke bad dua farmate aur Marwah par bhi yahi dohrate the.
Narrated Jabir bin `Abdullah regarding the details of the Prophet's Hajj: "Then the Prophet (ﷺ) descended from As-Safa and when his noble feet came down in the valley, he started running till he reached the other end, when we ascended, the Prophet (ﷺ) walked at his usual pace."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے نبی ﷺ کے حج کے متعلق تفصیلات میں یہ بھی مذکور ہے کہ پھر نبی ﷺ صفا سے اترے اور وادی کے بیچ میں جب آپ کے مبارک قدم اترے تو آپ نے سعی فرمائی یہاں تک کہ جب دوسرے حصے پر ہم لوگ چڑھ گئے تو نبی ﷺ معمول کی رفتار سے چلنے لگے۔
Sayyidana Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke Hajj ke mutalliq tafseelat mein yeh bhi mazkur hai ki phir Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Safa se utre aur waadi ke beech mein jab Aap ke mubarak qadam utre to Aap ne sa'i farmai yahan tak ki jab dusre hisse par hum log chadh gaye to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) mamuli ki raftar se chalne lage.
Narrated Jabir bin Abdullah: Among the camels which the Prophet (ﷺ) brought for sacrificing, some of them were slaughtered by him with his own hands and some of them were slaughtered by others on his behalf.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ قربانی کے لئے جن اونٹوں کو لے کر گئے تھے ان میں کچھ نبی ﷺ نے اپنے دست مبارک سے ذبح کئے تھے اور کچھ کسی اور نے ذبح کئے تھے۔
Sayyidna Jaber (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) qurbani ke liye jin oonton ko lekar gaye thy un me kuch Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne apne dast mubarak se zibah kiye thy aur kuch kisi aur ne zibah kiye thy.
Narrated by Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him): A man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said, "I have a slave girl who serves us and brings us water, and I go around her at night, but I do not like her to become pregnant." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "If you want, I can pray for her to become infertile, otherwise what is decreed will happen." After some time, the same man came again and said that the slave girl had become pregnant. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "I told you earlier that what is decreed will happen."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک آدمی نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا اور کہنے لگا کہ میری ایک باندی ہے جو ہماری خدمت بھی کر تی ہے اور پانی بھر کر بھی لاتی ہے میں رات کو اس کے پاس چکر بھی لگاتا ہوں لیکن اس کے ماں بننے کو بھی اچھا نہیں سمجھتا نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: اگر تم چاہتے ہواس سے عزل کر لیا کر وں ورنہ جو مقدر میں ہے وہ تو ہو کر رہے گا چنانچہ کچھ عرصے بعد وہی آدمی دوبارہ آیا اور کہنے لگا کہ وہ باندی بوجھل ہو گئی ہے نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: میں نے تو تمہیں پہلے ہی بتادیا تھا کہ جو مقدر میں ہے وہ تو ہو کر رہے گا۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek aadmi Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir hua aur kehne laga ki meri ek bandi hai jo hamari khidmat bhi karti hai aur pani bhar kar bhi lati hai main raat ko uske pass chakkar bhi lagata hun lekin uske maan banne ko bhi achcha nahin samajhta Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: agar tum chahte ho usse azal kar liya karo warna jo muqaddar mein hai wo to ho kar rahega chunancha kuch arse baad wohi aadmi dobara aaya aur kehne laga ki wo bandi bojhal ho gai hai Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: mainne to tumhen pehle hi bataya tha ki jo muqaddar mein hai wo to ho kar rahega.
Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah: The Prophet sent me on an errand while we were on our way to the tribe of Banu Mustaliq. When I returned, the Prophet was offering prayer facing the east while riding on his camel. When I wanted to tell him (something), he motioned with his hand. This happened twice. Then I heard the Prophet reciting (Quran) and he was motioning with his head. After finishing the prayer, the Prophet said, "What happened to the errand I sent you on?" I said, "I did not reply to you because I was praying."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی نے بنو مصطلق کی طرف جاتے ہوئے مجھے کسی کام سے بھیج دیا، میں واپس آیا تو نبی ﷺ اپنے اونٹ پر مشرق کی جانب منہ کر کے نماز پڑھ رہے تھے، میں نے بات کرنا چاہی تو نبی ﷺ نے ہاتھ سے اشارہ فرما دیا، دو مرتبہ اس طرح ہوا، پھر میں نے نبی ﷺ کو قراءت کرتے ہوئے سنا اور نبی ﷺ اپنے سر سے اشارہ فرما رہے تھے، نماز سے فراغت کے بعد نبی صلی اللہ علیہو سلم نے فرمایا: میں نے جس کام کے لئے تمہیں بھیجا تھا اس کا کیا بنا؟ میں نے جواب اس لئے نہیں دیا تھا کہ میں نماز پڑھ رہا تھا۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi ne Banu Mustaliq ki taraf jate huye mujhe kisi kaam se bhej diya, main wapas aaya to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) apne unt par mashriq ki janib munh kar ke namaz parh rahe the, maine baat karna chahi to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne hath se ishara farma diya, do martaba is tarah hua, phir maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko qirat karte huye suna aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) apne sar se ishara farma rahe the, namaz se faraghat ke baad Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: maine jis kaam ke liye tumhein bheja tha us ka kya bana? Maine jawab is liye nahin diya tha ki main namaz parh raha tha.
Narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Keep your wealth with you, do not give it to anyone, and whoever gives something to someone for life, then it belongs to him.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: اپنے مال کو اپنے پاس سنبھال کر رکھو، کسی کو مت دو اور جو شخص زندگی بھر کے لئے کسی کو کوئی چیز دیتا ہے تو وہ اسی کی ہو جاتی ہے۔
Sayyidna Jabir razi Allah anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: apne mal ko apne pass sambhal kar rakho, kisi ko mat do aur jo shakhs zindagi bhar ke liye kisi ko koi cheez deta hai to wo usi ki ho jati hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade making nabidh (a drink) by mixing fresh dates, ripe dates, raisins, and (regular) dates.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے کچی اور پکی کھجور کشمش اور کھجور کو ملا کر نبیذ بنانے سے منع فرمایا ہے۔
Sayyidina Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne kachi aur pakki khajoor kishmish aur khajoor ko mila kar nabiz banane se mana farmaya hai.
Narrated Jabir bin `Abdullah: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "When anyone of you prostrates himself, he should keep his back straight and should not spread his forearms like a dog."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: جب تم میں سے کوئی شخص سجدہ کر ے تو اعتدال برقرار رکھے اور اپنے بازو کتے کی طرح نہ پھیلائے۔
Saina Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Jab tum mein se koi shakhs sajda kare to aetdal barqrar rakhe aur apne bazu kutte ki tarah na phailaye.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever among you strongly thinks that he will not be able to wake up in the last part of the night, then he should pray Witr in the early part of the night. And whoever strongly thinks that he will be able to wake up in the latter part of the night, then he should pray Witr at the end, for the angels are present at the time of prayer in the latter part of the night, and it is the more virtuous way."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: تم میں سے جس شخص کا غالب گمان یہ ہو کہ وہ رات کے آخری حصے میں بیدار نہ ہو سکے گا تو اسے رات کے اول حصے میں ہی وتر پڑھ لینے چاہیے اور جسے آخری رات میں جاگنے کا غالب گمان ہو تو اسے آخر میں ہی وتر پڑھ لینے چاہیے کیونکہ رات کے آخر حصے میں نماز کے وقت فرشتے حاضر ہوتے ہیں اور یہ افضل طریقہ ہے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Tum mein se jis shakhs ka ghalib guman yeh ho ki woh raat ke aakhri hisse mein bedar na ho sakega to use raat ke awwal hisse mein hi witr parh lene chahie aur jise aakhri raat mein jagne ka ghalib guman ho to use aakhir mein hi witr parh lene chahie kyunki raat ke aakhir hisse mein namaz ke waqt farishte hazir hote hain aur yeh afzal tarika hai.
It is narrated by Sayyidina Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once, while delivering a sermon, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When one of you arrives while the Imam is delivering the sermon, he should still pray two rak'ahs (units of prayer)."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے خطبہ دیتے ہوئے فرمایا کہ جب تم میں سے کوئی شخص اس وقت آئے جب امام خطبہ دے رہا ہواسے پھر بھی دو رکعتیں پڑھ لینی چاہئیں۔
Saina Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne khutba dete huye farmaya ki jab tum mein se koi shakhs us waqt aaye jab Imam khutba de raha ho use phir bhi do rakatain parh leni chahiyen.
Narrated Jabir ibn Abdullah: When we came to Mecca with the Prophet (ﷺ), we performed Tawaf of the Ka'bah and Sa'i between Safa and Marwah. Then on the 10th of Dhul-Hijjah, we did not go near Safa and Marwah.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ جب ہم لوگ نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ مکہ مکر مہ آئے تو بیت اللہ کا طواف اور صفا مروہ کے درمیان سعی کر لی دس ذالحجہ کو پھر ہم صفامروہ کے قریب بھی نہیں گئے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki jab hum log Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath Makkah Mukarramah aaye to Baitullah ka tawaf aur Safa Marwah ke darmiyan sa'i kar li das Zulhijjah ko phir hum Safa Marwah ke qareeb bhi nahin gaye.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prohibited renting out land. A person mentioned this to Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him). A man present in the gathering said, "But I have seen the son of Sayyidina Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) himself taking land on a sharecropping basis." Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "Look at him! His father narrates this hadith on the authority of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade giving land on rent, and he is the one engaging in this kind of transaction!"

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے زمین کے کرائے سے منع کیا ہے کسی شخص نے یہ بات سیدنا ابن عمر سے ذکر کی تو اس مجلس میں موجود ایک آدمی کہنے لگا کہ میں نے تو خود سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ کے بیٹے کو بٹائی پر زمین لیتے ہوئے دیکھا ہے سیدنا ابن عمر نے فرمایا: اسے دیکھو اس کے والد نبی ﷺ کے حوالے سے یہ حدیث بیان کر رہے ہیں کہ نبی ﷺ نے زمین کو کرائے پر دینے سے منع فرمایا ہے یہ اس نوعیت کا معاملہ کرتا پھرتا ہے۔
Syedna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne zameen ke kiraye se mana kiya hai kisi shakhs ne ye baat Syedna Ibn Umar se zikar ki to is majlis mein mojood ek aadmi kehne laga ke mein ne to khud Syedna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke bete ko batai par zameen lete huye dekha hai Syedna Ibn Umar ne farmaya: ise dekho is ke walid Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke hawale se ye hadees bayan kar rahe hain ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne zameen ko kiraye par dene se mana farmaya hai ye is nauiyyat ka mamla karta phirta hai.
It was narrated from Jabir bin 'Abdullah that he heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying: "Between a man and Shirk and Kufr there stands nothing but abandoning the prayer.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ بندے اور کفر و شرک کے درمیان حد فاصل نماز کو چھوڑنا ہے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate hue suna hai ki bande aur kufr o shirk ke darmiyan had fasil namaz ko chhorna hai.
And I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say that a man should not make his naked body touch another man's, and a woman should not make her naked body touch another woman's. Abu Zubair said: I asked Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him): Do you consider sins to be shirk? He said: I seek refuge in Allah.

اور میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ مرد دوسرے مرد کے ساتھ اپنا برہنہ جسم نہ لگائے اور عورت دوسری عورت کے ساتھ اپنا برہنہ جسم نہ لگائے۔ ابوالزبیر کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے پوچھا کہ آپ لوگ گناہوں کو شرک سمجھتے ہیں انہوں نے فرمایا کہ اللہ کی پناہ۔
aur maine nabi salallahu alaihi wasallam ko yeh farmate huye suna hai ki mard dusre mard ke sath apna barahna jism na lagaye aur aurat dusri aurat ke sath apna barahna jism na lagaye. abuz zubair kahte hain ki maine sayyadna jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se pucha ki aap log gunaahon ko shirk samjhte hain unhon ne farmaya ki allah ki panah.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Hunting on land is permissible for the Muhrim (pilgrim in the state of Ihram), provided that he himself does not hunt it, nor is it hunted for him."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: محرم کے لئے خشکی کا شکار حلال ہے بشرطیکہ کہ وہ خود شکار نہ کر ے یا اسے اس کی خاطر شکار نہ کیا گیا ہو۔
Saina Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Muharram ke liye khushki ka shikar halal hai basharte ke woh khud shikar na kare ya use uski khatir shikar na kiya gaya ho.
It is narrated on the authority of Hadrat Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked his family to bring some curry. They said: "We have nothing but vinegar." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked for it, ate it, and said: "Vinegar is the best curry."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے اپنے گھر والوں سے سالن لانے کے لئے کہا انہوں نے کہا کہ ہمارے پاس تو سرکہ کے علاوہ کچھ بھی نہیں ہے نبی ﷺ نے اسے منگوا کر کھایا اور ارشاد فرمایا: سرکہ بہترین سالن ہے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne apne ghar walon se salan lane ke liye kaha unhon ne kaha ki hamare pass to sirka ke ilawa kuchh bhi nahin hai Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne use mangwa kar khaya aur irshad farmaya: Sirka behtarin salan hai.
Narrated Jabir (RA): The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Between my house and my pulpit lays a garden from the gardens of Paradise, and my pulpit is upon my fountain (in Paradise)."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: میرے منبر اور حجرے کے درمیان کی جگہ جنت کے باغات میں سے ایک باغ ہے اور میرا منبر جنت کے دروازے پر لگایا جائے گا۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: mere mimbar aur hujre ke darmiyan ki jagah jannat ke baghon mein se ek bagh hai aur mera mimbar jannat ke darwaze par lagaya jayega.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (RA) that we used to receive waterskins and utensils along with the spoils of war with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). We used to distribute them among ourselves, and they were all from the possessions of the deceased (enemy combatants).

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ہمیں نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ مشکیزے کے مال غنیمت میں سے مشکیزے اور برتن بھی ملتے تھے ہم اسے تقسیم کر دیتے تھے اور یہ سب مردار ہوتے تھے۔
Sayyidna Jabir Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki hamen Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath mashkize ke mal ghanimat mein se mashkize aur bartan bhi milte the hum ise taqseem kar dete the aur ye sab murdar hote the.
Narrated by Jabir ibn Abdullah: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "I saw myself in a dream entering Paradise and I saw Rumaysa, the wife of Abu Talha. Then I heard the sound of footsteps in front of me. I asked Gabriel, 'Who is this?' He replied, 'This is Bilal.' Then I saw a white palace with a courtyard where a young maid was walking. I asked, 'Whose palace is this?' He replied, 'This is the palace of Umar ibn al-Khattab.' At first, I thought of entering and seeing him, but then I remembered your sense of honor." Umar said, "O Messenger of Allah! May my mother and father be sacrificed for you! Would I be jealous of you?"

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: میں نے خواب میں اپنے آپ کو دیکھا کہ میں جنت میں داخل ہوا تو وہاں مجھے ابوطلحہ کی بیوی رمیصاء نظر آئی پھر میں نے اپنے آگے کسی کے جوتوں کی آہٹ سنی میں نے جبرائیل سے پوچھا کہ یہ کون ہے؟ تو انہوں نے بتایا کہ یہ بلال ہیں پھر میں نے ایک سفید رنگ کا محل دیکھا جس کے صحن میں ایک لونڈی پھر رہی تھی میں نے پوچھا کہ یہ محل کس کا ہے؟ انہوں نے بتایا کہ یہ محل عمربن خطاب کا ہے پہلے میں نے سوچا کہ اس میں داخل ہو کر اسے دیکھوں لیکن پھر مجھے تمہاری غیرت یاد آگئی سیدنا عمر کہنے لگے یا رسول اللہ! میرے ماں باپ آپ پر قربان ہوں کیا میں آپ پر غیرت کھاؤں گا۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: mein ne khwab mein apne aap ko dekha ki mein Jannat mein dakhil hua to wahan mujhe Abu Talha ki biwi Ummu Rumaysa nazar aayi phir mein ne apne aage kisi ke juton ki ahat suni mein ne Jibraeel se pucha ki yeh kaun hai? to unhon ne bataya ki yeh Bilal hain phir mein ne ek safed rang ka mahal dekha jis ke sahn mein ek laundi phir rahi thi mein ne pucha ki yeh mahal kis ka hai? unhon ne bataya ki yeh mahal Umar bin Khattab ka hai pehle mein ne socha ki is mein dakhil ho kar ise dekhon lekin phir mujhe tumhari ghairat yaad aa gayi Sayyidna Umar kehne lage ya Rasulullah! mere maan baap aap par qurban hon kya mein aap par ghairat khaunga.
Jabir ibn Abdullah reported: Once we were returning with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and we came to Dhat al-Riqa. We left a shady tree for the Prophet. A polytheist came while the sword of the Prophet was hanging from the tree. He took the sword of the Prophet, unsheathed it, and said, “Do you fear me?” I said, “No.” He said, “Then who will save you from me?” I said, “Allah.” The Companions rebuked him and threatened him. The Prophet said, “Allah has already caused the sword to fall from his hand.” The Prophet said, “Then who will save you?” He said, “You are more entitled to good treatment.” He said, “I promise you that I will not fight you, nor will I be with those who fight you.” Upon hearing this, the Prophet put the sword in its sheath and then announced the prayer. The Prophet led one group in two cycles of prayer, then they left, and he led another group in two cycles. Thus, the Prophet prayed four cycles and the people prayed two cycles.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ ہم لوگ رسول اللہ کے ساتھ واپس آرہے تھے ذات الرقاع میں پہنچ کر ہم نے ایک سایہ دار درخت نبی ﷺ کے لئے چھوڑ دیا ایک مشرک آیا اس وقت نبی ﷺ کی تلوار درخت سے لٹکی ہوئی تھی اس نے نبی ﷺ کی تلوار لے کر اسے سونت لیا اور کہنے لگا کہ آپ مجھ سے ڈرتے ہیں میں نے کہا نہیں اس نے کہا اب تم کو میرے ہاتھ سے کون بچائے گا میں نے کہا اللہ بچائے گا صحابہ نے اسے ڈرایا دھمکایا نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ اللہ تو اس کے ہاتھ سے تلوار گرگئی آپ نے فرمایا: اب تجھے کون بچائے گا اس نے کہا آپ بہتر لینے والے ہیں اور کہا میں آپ سے وعدہ کرتا ہوں آپ لوگوں سے قتال نہیں کر وں گا اور نہ ان لوگوں کے ساتھ ہوں گا جو آپ سے قتال کر یں گے یہ سن کر حضور نے تلوار کو نیام میں ڈال لیا اور پھر نماز کا اعلان کیا نبی ﷺ نے ایک گروہ کو دو رکعتیں پڑھائیں پھر وہ لوگ چلے گئے اور دوسرے گروہ کو بھی دو رکعتیں پڑھائیں اس طرح نبی ﷺ کی چار رکعتیں ہو گئیں اور لوگوں کی دو رکعتیں ہوئیں۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kahte hain ki ek martaba hum log Rasul Allah ke sath wapas aa rahe the Zat ul Raqa mein pahunch kar humne ek saya dar darakht Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke liye chhor diya Ek mushrik aaya us waqt Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki talwar darakht se latki hui thi usne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki talwar le kar use sonth liya aur kahne laga ki aap mujhse darte hain maine kaha nahin usne kaha ab tum ko mere hath se kaun bachayega maine kaha Allah bachayega Sahaba ne use daraya dhamkaya Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki Allah to uske hath se talwar gir gayi aap ne farmaya: ab tujhe kaun bachayega usne kaha aap behtar lene wale hain aur kaha main aapse waada karta hun aap logon se qatal nahin karun ga aur na un logon ke sath hun ga jo aapse qatal kar ye sun kar Huzoor ne talwar ko niyam mein dal liya aur phir namaz ka elan kiya Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ek giroh ko do rakatein parhaeen phir wo log chale gaye aur dusre giroh ko bhi do rakatein parhaeen is tarah Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki chaar rakatein ho gayin aur logon ki do rakatein ho gayin.
It is narrated by Sayyidina Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked his family to bring him some gravy. They said, "We have nothing but vinegar." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked for it, ate it, and said: "Vinegar is the best gravy.”

It is narrated by Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that in the plains of Mina and Arafat, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) would present himself before the people and say, "Is there anyone among you who would take me to his people because Quraysh has prevented me from conveying the message and words of my Lord." At that time, a man from Hamdan came before the Prophet (PBUH) and the Prophet (PBUH) inquired about his tribe. He replied, "From Hamdan." The Prophet (PBUH) then asked, "Do you hold any importance or status within your tribe?" He replied, "Yes, I do." At that moment, doubt entered his heart, fearing humiliation from his tribe. Therefore, he requested the Prophet (PBUH), "Allow me to return to my people and inform them first, then I will come to you next year, Insha'Allah." The Prophet (PBUH) replied, "Very well." He then departed, and even before the next year, during the month of Rajab, the delegation of Ansar arrived.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ منیٰ اور عرفات کے میدانوں میں اپنے آپ کو لوگوں کے سامنے پیش فرماتے اور ان سے فرماتے کہ کیا کوئی ایسا آدمی ہے جو مجھے اپنی قوم میں لے جائے کیونکہ قریش نے مجھے اس بات سے روک رکھا ہے کہ میں اپنے رب کا کلام اور پیغام لوگوں تک پہنچا سکوں اس دوران ہمدان کا ایک آدمی نبی ﷺ کے پاس آیا اور نبی ﷺ نے اسے پوچھا کہ تمہارا تعلق کس قبیلے سے ہے اس نے کہا ہمدان سے نبی ﷺ نے اس سے پوچھا کہ کیا تمہیں اپنی قوم میں کوئی اہمیت و مرتبہ حاصل ہے اس نے کہا جی ہاں پھر اس کے دل میں کھٹکا پیدا ہوا کہ کہیں اس کی قوم اسے ذلیل ہی نہ کر دے اس لئے اس نے نبی ﷺ سے عرض کیا: پہلے میں اپنی قوم میں جا کر انہیں مطلع کرتا ہوں پھر آئندہ سال میں آپ کے پاس آؤں گا نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: بہت اچھا اس پر وہ چلا گیا اور اگلے سال سے پہلے رجب ہی میں انصار کا وفد پہنچ گیا۔
Sayyida Jaabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Mina aur Arafaat ke maidano mein apne aap ko logon ke samne pesh farmate aur un se farmate ki kya koi aisa aadmi hai jo mujhe apni qaum mein le jaye kyunki Quresh ne mujhe is baat se rok rakha hai ki main apne Rabb ka kalam aur paigham logon tak pahuncha sakun is dauran Hamdan ka ek aadmi Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke paas aaya aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne use pucha ki tumhara talluq kis qabile se hai usne kaha Hamdan se Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne us se pucha ki kya tumhen apni qaum mein koi ehmiyat o martaba hasil hai usne kaha ji haan phir uske dil mein khutka paida hua ki kahin uski qaum use zaleel hi na kar de is liye usne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se arz kiya: pehle main apni qaum mein ja kar unhen muttalia karta hun phir aayinda saal mein aap ke paas aaunga Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: bahut achcha is par wo chala gaya aur agle saal se pehle Rajab hi mein Ansaar ka wafd pahunch gaya.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (RA) that once I got married, The Prophet (ﷺ) asked me whom I had married. I said: “A woman who had already been married.” The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Why didn’t you marry a virgin so that you could play with her? It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (RA) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said, “Why didn’t you marry a virgin so that you could play with her and she could play with you?" The preceding Hadith has also been narrated through this second chain.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے شادی کر لی ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے مجھ سے پوچھا کہ تم نے کس سے شادی کی ہے میں نے عرض کیا: کہ شوہردیدہ سے نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ کنواری سے نکاح کیوں نہیں کیا کہ تم ایک دوسرے سے کھیلتے؟ سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: کنواری سے نکاح کیوں نہ کیا کہ تم اس سے کھیلتے ہواور وہ تم سے کھیلتی؟ گزشہ حدیث اس دوسری سند سے بھی مروی ہے۔
Sayyeda Jaber Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai keh maine shadi kar li ek martaba Nabi Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne mujhse pucha keh tumne kis se shadi ki hai maine arz kiya: keh shohardida se Nabi Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne farmaya keh kunwari se nikah kyun nahi kiya keh tum ek dusre se khelte? Sayyeda Jaber Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai keh Nabi Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne farmaya: kunwari se nikah kyun na kiya keh tum us se khelte ho aur wo tum se khelti? Guzishta hadees is dusri sand se bhi marvi hai.
Narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (RA), once the people of Banu Salimah intended to sell their houses and move closer to the mosque. When the Prophet (PBUH) learned about this, he said to them: "Stay in your homes; even the steps you take will be rewarded."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ بنوسلمہ کے لوگوں کا یہ ارادہ ہوا کہ وہ اپنا گھربیچ کر مسجد کے قریب منتقل ہو جائیں نبی ﷺ کو جب یہ بات معلوم ہوئی تو آپ نے ان سے فرمایا: اپنے گھروں میں ہی رہو تمہارے نشانات قدم کا بھی ثواب لکھا جائے گا۔
Sayyedna Jaber (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek martaba Banu Salama ke logon ka ye irada hua ki woh apna ghar bech kar masjid ke qareeb muntaqil ho jayen Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko jab ye baat maloom hui to aap ne un se farmaya apne gharon mein hi raho tumhare nishanat qadam ka bhi sawab likha jayega.
It has been narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw a man who did not cover a space equal to a dirham on his feet. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said that there is destruction from the fire of Hell for the heels.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ایک آدمی کو دیکھا جس کے پاؤں پر ایک درہم کے برابر کی جگہ نہ ڈھل سکتی تھی نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ ایڑیوں کے لئے جہنم کی آگ سے ہلاکت ہے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ek aadmi ko dekha jis ke paon par ek dirham ke barabar ki jagah na dhal sakti thi Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki eriyon ke liye jahannam ki aag se halakat hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man made his slave a Mudabbar (a slave who will be freed upon his master's death). This man was himself in debt. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sold the Mudabbar slave to pay off the debt of his master.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک آدمی نے اپنے غلام کو مدبربنادیا وہ آدمی خود مقروض تھا نبی ﷺ نے مدبر غلام کو اس کے آقا کے قرض کی ادائیگی کے لئے بیچ دیا۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki aik aadmi ne apne ghulam ko mudabbir bana diya woh aadmi khud maqrooz tha Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mudabbir ghulam ko uske aqa ke qarz ki adaegi ke liye bech diya.
Narrated Jabir (RA): The Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Let none of you die except thinking good of Allah, for verily, some people intended evil against Allah, so Allah said: ‘That is your evil thought which you entertained about your Lord, so you are ruined.”

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: تم میں سے جس شخص کو بھی موت آئے وہ اس حال میں ہو کہ اللہ کے ساتھ حسن ظن رکھتا ہو کیونکہ کچھ لوگوں نے اللہ کے ساتھ بدگمانی کا ارادہ کیا تو اللہ نے فرمایا کہ یہ تمہارا گٹھیا گمان ہے جو کہ تم نے اپنے رب کے ساتھ کیا ہے سو تم نقصان اٹھانے والے ہو گئے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Tum mein se jis shakhs ko bhi maut aaye woh iss haal mein ho ki Allah ke sath husn-e-zann rakhta ho kyunki kuch logon ne Allah ke sath badgumani ka irada kiya to Allah ne farmaya ki yeh tumhara ghateeya gumman hai jo ki tumne apne Rab ke sath kiya hai so tum nuqsan uthane wale ho gaye.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (RA) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Some of the people of Tawhid (monotheism) will be punished in Hell. When they are burnt and become like coal, the mercy of Allah will then overtake them and they will be taken out of Hell and placed at the gate of Paradise. The people of Paradise will sprinkle water on them and they will sprout like sprouts in a flood plain. Then, they will enter Paradise."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: اہل توحید میں سے کچھ لوگ جہنم میں عذاب دیئے جائیں گے جب وہ جل کر کوئلہ ہو جائیں گے تو رحمت الٰہی ان کی دستگیری کر ے گی اور انہیں جہنم سے نکال کر جنت کے دروازے پر ڈال دیا جائے گا اور ان پر اہل جنت پانی چھڑکے گے جس سے وہ اس طرح اگ آئیں گے جیسے سیلاب میں جھاڑ جھنکار اگ آتے ہیں پھر وہ جنت میں داخل ہو جائیں گے۔
Saina Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Ahle tauheed mein se kuch log jahannum mein azab diye jayenge jab wo jal kar koyla ho jayenge to rehmat ilahi unki dastgiri karegi aur unhen jahannum se nikal kar jannat ke darwaze par daal diya jayega aur un par ahle jannat pani chhidkege jis se wo is tarah aag ayenge jaise sailaab mein jhaar jhankkar aag aate hain phir wo jannat mein dakhil ho jayenge.
Narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “O Allah, make any harsh words that come out of my mouth about a Muslim a means of purification, reward and blessings for him.”

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: اے اللہ میرے منہ سے جس مسلمان کے متعلق سخت کلمات نکل جائیں وہ اس کے لئے باعث تزکیہ واجر ثواب بنادے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Aye Allah mere munh se jis musalman ke mutalliq sakht kalmat nikal jayen wo uske liye baais tazkiya ajr sawab banade.
Narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the court of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and asked: “O Messenger of Allah! What are the two things that make (entering Paradise or Hell) mandatory?” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Whoever meets Allah without associating any partners with Him will enter Paradise, and whoever meets Allah associating partners with Him will enter Hellfire.”

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک آدمی بارگاہ نبوت میں حاضر ہوا اور عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! واجب کرنے والی دو چیزیں کون سی ہیں نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: جو شخص اللہ سے اس حال میں ملے کہ اس کے ساتھ کسی کو شریک نہ ٹھہراتا ہو وہ جنت میں داخل ہو گا اور جو اللہ سے اس حال میں ملاقات کر ے کہ اس کے ساتھ کسی کو شریک ٹھہراتا ہو تو وہ جہنم میں داخل ہو گا۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek aadmi bargah e nabuwat mein hazir hua aur arz kiya Ya Rasul Allah wajib karne wali do cheezen kon si hain Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya Jo shakhs Allah se is hal mein mile ki uske sath kisi ko sharik na thehrata ho wo jannat mein dakhil ho ga aur jo Allah se is hal mein mulakat kare ki uske sath kisi ko sharik thehrata ho to wo jahannam mein dakhil ho ga.
Abu Mu'awiya reported to us from A'mash, from Abu Sufyan, from Jabir, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever plants a plant and a human being, bird, beast, or animal eats from it, then it is charity for him."

ہمیں ابو معاویہ نے حدیث بیان کی، اعمش سے، ابو سفیان سے، جابر سے، کہا: رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: "جو شخص کوئی پودا لگائے، پھر اس سے کوئی انسان، پرندہ، درندہ، یا جانور کھائے، تو وہ اس کے لیے صدقہ ہے"۔
Hamen Abu Muawiya ne hadees bayaan ki, Aamash se, Abu Sufyan se, Jabir se, kaha: Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Jo shakhs koi podha lagaye, phir us se koi insan, parinda, darinda, ya janwar khaye, to woh uske liye sadqah hai".
It is narrated on the authority of Hadrat Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Whoever plants a tree or sows a crop, and a human, bird, beast, or animal eats from it, it is a charity for him." The previous hadith is also narrated from this other chain.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: جو شخص کوئی پودالگائے یا کوئی فصل اگائے اور اس بات سے انسان پرندے درندے یا چوپائے کھائیں تو وہ اس کے لئے باعث صدقہ ہے۔ گزشتہ حدیث اس دوسری سند سے بھی مروی ہے۔
Saina Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Jo shaks koi podha lagaye ya koi fasal ugaye aur is baat se insan parinde darinde ya chopaye khayen to wo uske liye baais sadqa hai. Guzishta hadees is dusri sanad se bhi marvi hai.
Narrated Jabir (RA): The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "When you arrive on a journey at night, do not enter your homes suddenly, but give them a notice."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ جب تم رات کے وقت شہر میں داخل ہو تو بلا اطلاع کئے اپنے گھرمت جاؤ۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki jab tum raat ke waqt shehar mein dakhil ho to bila ittila kiye apne ghar mat jao.
Jabir ibn Abdullah reported that a man told him that he had seen the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) praying in a garment whose two ends were tied around his neck.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ مجھے ایک صاحب نے بتایا ہے کہ انہوں نے نبی ﷺ کو ایک کپڑے میں نماز پڑھتے ہوئے دیکھا ہے جس کے دونوں کنارے مخالف سمت میں تھے۔

It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (RA) that when his father, Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin Haram, was martyred, he owed a debt of some dates to a Jew. He left behind two gardens as inheritance. The entire produce of both of them was surrounded by the debt of the Jew. The Prophet (PBUH) said to the Jew, "Is it possible for you to take some dates this year and postpone some for next year?" He refused. So the Prophet (PBUH) said, "When it is time to harvest the dates, inform me." I did the same. The Prophet (PBUH), accompanied by the companions, came and sat at the top or in the middle and said to me, "Start measuring and giving it to the people." And he himself started praying. So I started measuring and giving it to everyone until the entire debt was paid off from the smaller garden itself. After that, I offered fresh dates to eat and water to drink. They ate and drank. The Prophet (PBUH) said, "These are the blessings about which you will be questioned on the Day of Judgement.”

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ان کے والد سیدنا عبداللہ بن عمرو بن حرام شہید ہوئے تو ان پر ایک یہو دی کا کھجور کا کچھ قرض تھا وہ ترکے میں دو باغ چھوڑ گئے تھے ان دونوں کے سارے پھل کو یہو دی کا قرض گھیرے ہوئے تھا نبی ﷺ نے اس یہو دی سے فرمایا: کیا یہ ممکن ہے کہ تم کچھ کھجور اس سال لے لو اور کچھ اگلے سال کے لئے موخر کر دو اس نے انکار کر دیا تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: جب کھجور کاٹنے کا وقت آئے تو مجھے بلا لو میں نے ایسا ہی کیا نبی ﷺ حضرات شیخین کے ہمراہ تشریف لائے اور سب سے اوپر یا درمیان تشریف فرما ہوئے اور مجھ سے فرمایا: لوگوں کو ناپ کر دینا شروع کر دو اور خود دعا کرنے لگے چنانچہ میں نے سب کو ناپ کر دینا شروع کر دیا حتی کہ چھوٹے باغ ہی سے سب کا قرض پورا ہو گیا اس کے بعد میں نے کھانے کے لئے تر کھجوریں اور پینے کے لئے پانی پیش کیا انہوں نے اسے کھایا پیا نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: یہی وہ نعمتیں ہیں جن کے متعلق قیامت کے دن تم سے پوچھا: جائے گا۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki un ke walid Sayyidna Abdullah bin Amro bin Haram shaheed huye to un per ek Yahudi ka khajoor ka kuch qarz tha woh tarke mein do bagh chhor gaye the un donon ke sare phal ko Yahudi ka qarz ghere huye tha Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne is Yahudi se farmaya kya yeh mumkin hai ki tum kuch khajoor is sal le lo aur kuch agle sal ke liye mokher kar do isne inkar kar diya to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya jab khajoor katne ka waqt aaye to mujhe bula lena maine aisa hi kiya Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) hazrat sheikh ke hamrah tashrif laye aur sab se upar ya darmiyan tashrif farma huye aur mujh se farmaya logon ko naap kar dena shuru kar do aur khud dua karne lage chunancha maine sab ko naap kar dena shuru kar diya hatta ki chhote bagh hi se sab ka qarz pura ho gaya is ke baad maine khane ke liye tar khajoorein aur pine ke liye pani pesh kiya unhon ne use khaya piya Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya yahi woh naimatein hain jin ke mutalliq qayamat ke din tum se puchha jayega.
Narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) set out, he kept his pace slow and commanded the people to do the same. But in the valley of Muhassir, he hastened the pace of his riding animal and commanded them to pelt the Shaytan with stones, even if they were the size of chickpeas.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے روانہ ہوتے وقت اپنی رفتار آہستہ رکھی اور لوگوں کو بھی اسی کا حکم دیا لیکن وادی محسر میں اپنی سواری کی رفتار کو تیز کر دیا اور انہیں حکم دیا کہ شیطان کو کنکر یاں ٹھیکر ی کی بنی ہوئی مارا کرو۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne rawana hote waqt apni raftar aahista rakhi aur logon ko bhi isi ka hukm diya lekin Wadi Muhassir mein apni sawari ki raftar ko tez kar diya aur unhen hukm diya ki shaitan ko kankar ya pathar ki bani hui mara karo.
Narrated by Sayyidina Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), "Did you return the slave girl to her family?" She replied, "Yes." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Why did you not send a singer with her, who knows the song: 'We came to you, we came to you, so welcome to us, welcome to us.' For this is the tradition of the Ansar."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے سیدنا عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہ پوچھا کہ کیا تم نے باندی کو اس کے اہل خانہ کے حوالے کر دیا انہوں نے عرض کیا: جی ہاں نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: تم نے ان کے ساتھ کسی گانے والے کو کیوں نہیں بھیجا جو یہ گاناسناتا کہ ہم تمہارے پاس آئے ہم تمہارے پاس آئے سو تم ہمیں خوش آمدید کہو ہم تمہیں خوش آمدید کہیں گے کیونکہ انصار میں اس چیز کا رواج ہے۔
Saina Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Saina Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) pucha ke kya tumne bandi ko uske ahl e khana ke hawale kar diya Unhon ne arz kiya: Ji han Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Tumne unke sath kisi ganewale ko kyun nahi bheja jo ye gaana gaata ke hum tumhare pas aaye hum tumhare pas aaye so tum humein khush aamdeed kaho hum tumhein khush aamdeed kahenge kyunke Ansar mein is cheez ka riwaj hai.
Narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that someone asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): “O Messenger of Allah! Which prayer is the best?” He said: “The long prayer.” He asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): “O Messenger of Allah! Which Jihad is the best?” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The one whose horse's feet are cut off and his own blood flows.” He asked, “Which migration is the best?” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "To abandon that which Allah dislikes.” He submitted: “O Messenger of Allah! Which Islam is the best?” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “That from whose tongue and hand other Muslims are safe.” He asked, “O Messenger of Allah! What are the two things that make one eligible for Paradise?” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The one who meets Allah without associating any partner with Him will enter Paradise and the one who dies associating partners with Allah will enter Hellfire.”

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ سے کسی نے پوچھا کہ یا رسول اللہ! کون سی نماز سب سے افضل ہے فرمایا: لمبی نماز اس نے نبی ﷺ سے پوچھا کہ یا رسول اللہ! سب سے افضل جہاد کون سا ہے نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: اس شخص کا جس کے گھوڑے کے پاؤں کٹ جائیں اور اس کا اپنا خون بہہ جائے اس نے پوچھا کہ کون سی ہجرت سب سے افضل ہے نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: اللہ کی ناپسندیدہ چیزوں کو ترک کر دینا۔ اس نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! کون سا اسلام افضل ہے نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا کہ دوسرے مسلمان جس کی زبان اور ہاتھ سے محفوظ رہیں۔ اس نے پوچھا کہ یا رسول اللہ! دو واجب کرنے والی چیزیں کون سی ہیں نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: جو شخص اللہ سے اس حال میں ملے کہ اس کے ساتھ کسی کو شریک نہ ٹھہرانا ہو وہ جنت میں داخل ہو گا اور جو اس حال میں مرے کہ اللہ کے ساتھ کسی کو شریک ٹھہراتا ہو وہ جہنم میں داخل ہو گا۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se kisi ne poocha ki Ya Rasul Allah! Kaun si namaz sab se afzal hai? Farmaya: Lambi namaz. Usne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se poocha ki Ya Rasul Allah! Sab se afzal jihad kaun sa hai? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Us shakhs ka jiske ghore ke paon kat jayen aur uska apna khoon beh jaye. Usne poocha ki kaun si hijrat sab se afzal hai? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Allah ki napasandida cheezon ko tark kar dena. Usne arz kiya: Ya Rasul Allah! Kaun sa Islam afzal hai? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya ki dusre Musalman jiski zuban aur hath se mahfooz rahen. Usne poocha ki Ya Rasul Allah! Do wajib karne wali cheezen kaun si hain? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Jo shakhs Allah se is hal mein mile ki uske sath kisi ko sharik na theraana ho wo Jannat mein dakhil ho ga aur jo is hal mein mare ki Allah ke sath kisi ko sharik theraata ho wo Jahannam mein dakhil ho ga.
It is narrated by Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever has land, let him cultivate it himself. If he cannot do so, or is unable, then let him give it as a gift to his brother, and not give it on rent."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: جس شخص کے پاس کوئی زمین ہواسے چاہئے کہ وہ خود اس میں کھیتی باڑی کر ے اگر خود نہیں کر سکتا یا اس سے عاجز ہو تو اپنے بھائی کو ہدیہ کے طور پردے دے کرایہ پر نہ دے۔
