It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever from amongst the slaves marries without the permission of his master, then he has committed fornication/adultery."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جو غلام اپنے آقا کی اجازت کے بغیر نکاح کرتا ہے وہ بدکاری کرتا ہے۔“
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Jo ghulam apne aqa ki ijazat ke baghair nikah karta hai woh badkari karta hai.“
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) arrived in Medina, the people slaughtered a camel or a cow.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ جب مدینہ تشریف لائے تو لوگوں نے ایک اونٹ یا ایک گائے ذبح کی۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) jab Madina tashreef laaye to logon ne ek unt ya ek gaye zibah ki.
Narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever sells a slave who possesses wealth, then his wealth belongs to the seller (seller), unless the buyer stipulates (a condition to the contrary)."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جو شخص کسی ایسے غلام کو بیچے جس کے پاس مال ہو، تو اس کا مال بائع (بچنے والا) کا ہو گا۔ الاّ یہ کہ مشتری (خریدنے والا) شرط لگا دے۔“
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Jo shakhs kisi aise gulam ko beche jis ke pass mal ho, to uska mal bai' (bechne wala) ka hoga. Illa yeh ki mushtari (kharidne wala) shart laga de.“
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sold a Mudabbar slave.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے وادی محسر میں اپنی سواری کی رفتار کو تیز کر دیا۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Wadi Muhassar mein apni sawari ki raftar ko tez kar diya.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "My Ummah should learn the rituals of Hajj and throw stones at the Jamarat, even if they are small pebbles."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”میری امت کو مناسک حج سیکھ لینے چاہیئں اور شیطان کو کنکریاں ٹھیکری کی بنی ہوئی مارا کرو۔“
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: “Meri ummat ko manasik Hajj seekh lene chahiyen aur Shaytan ko kankariyan theekri ki bani hui mara karo.”
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that at the time of the digging of the trench, very difficult conditions befell the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and his Companions (may Allah be pleased with them). Due to hunger, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had tied a stone to his blessed stomach.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ خندق کھودنے کے موقع پر نبی ﷺ اور آپ کے صحابہ رضی اللہ عنہم پر بڑے سخت حالات آئے حتیٰ کہ بھوک کی وجہ سے نبی ﷺ نے اپنے بطن مبارک پر پتھر باندھ رکھا تھا۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Khandaq khodne ke mauqe par Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) aur aap ke Sahaba (رضي الله تعالى عنه) par bade sakht halat aaye hatta ki bhook ki wajah se Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne apne batn mubarak par pathar bandh rakha tha.
Narrated by Jabir ibn Abdullah: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "When one of you eats food, he should not wipe his hand with a cloth until he has licked his fingers or had them licked, for he does not know in what portion of his food the blessing lies."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جب تم میں سے کوئی شخص کھانا کھائے تو جب تک اپنی انگلیاں خود نہ چاٹ لے یا کسی کو چاٹنے کا موقع نہ دے دے، اپنے ہاتھ تولیے سے صاف نہ کرے، کیونکہ اسے معلوم نہیں ہے کہ اس کے کھانے کے کس حصے میں برکت ہے۔“
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: "Jab tum mein se koi shakhs khana khaye to jab tak apni ungliyan khud na chaat le ya kisi ko chaatne ka mauqa na de de, apne hath toliye se saaf na kare, kyunki use maloom nahi hai ki uske khane ke kis hisse mein barkat hai."
Narrated by Jabir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The food of one person is sufficient for two people, the food of two people is sufficient for four people, and the food of four people is sufficient for eight people."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”ایک آدمی کا کھانا دو آدمیوں کو اور دو کا کھانا چار آدمیوں کو اور چار کا کھانا آٹھ آدمیوں کو کافی ہو جاتا ہے۔“
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Ek aadmi ka khana do aadmiyon ko aur do ka khana chaar aadmiyon ko aur chaar ka khana aath aadmiyon ko kafi ho jata hai.“
Narrated Jabir (RA): The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "When the morsel of food of anyone of you falls down, he should pick it up and remove any dirt on it and eat it, and should not leave it for Satan."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جب تم میں سے کسی کا لقمہ گر جائے تو اسے چاہیے کہ اس پر لگنے والی تکلیف دو چیز کو ہٹا کر اسے کھا لے اور اسے شیطان کے لئے نہ چھوڑے۔“
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: “Jab tum mein se kisi ka luqma gir jaye to use chahiye ki us par lagne wali takleef do cheez ko hata kar use kha le aur usey shaitan ke liye na chhore.”
Narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that when I got married, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked me, "Do you have any woolen clothes?" I said, "O Messenger of Allah! Where could we possibly have them?" He said, "Soon you will definitely get woolen clothes." Now, today when I got them, I tell my wife to keep these woolen clothes with her, to which she says, "Didn't the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say that *you* will get woolen clothes?" (Hearing this, I leave her to her own devices).

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ جب میں نے شادی کر لی تو نبی ﷺ نے پوچھا کہ کیا تمہارے پاس اونی کپڑے ہیں؟ میں نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! ہمارے پاس کہاں! فرمایا: ”عنقریب تمہیں اونی کپڑے ضرور ملیں گے“ اب آج جب وہ مجھے مل گئے۔ تو میں اپنی بیوی سے کہتا ہوں کہ یہ اپنے اونی کپڑے اپنے پاس ہی رکھو، تو وہ کہتی ہے کہ کیا نبی ﷺ نے نہیں فرمایا تھا کہ تمہیں اونی کپڑے ملیں گے (یہ سن کر میں اسے اس کے حال پر چھوڑ دیتا ہوں)۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki jab maine shadi kar li to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne pucha ki kya tumhare pass ooni kapre hain? Maine arz kiya: Ya Rasul Allah! Hamare pass kahan! Farmaya: "Anqarib tumhein ooni kapre zaroor milenge" Ab aaj jab wo mujhe mil gaye. To main apni biwi se kehta hun ki yeh apne ooni kapre apne pass hi rakho, to wo kehti hai ki kya Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne nahi farmaya tha ki tumhein ooni kapre milenge (yeh sun kar main use is ke haal par chhor deta hun).
Narrated by Sayyidina Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Take my name as your name, but do not take my Kunya as your Kunya, for I am Abul Qasim and I divide among you."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”میرے نام پر اپنا نام رکھ لیا کرو، لیکن میری کنیت پر اپنی کنیت نہ رکھا کرو کیونکہ میں ابوالقاسم ہوں اور تمہارے درمیان تقسیم کرتا ہوں۔“
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: “Mere nam par apna nam rakh liya karo, lekin meri kunniyat par apni kunniyat na rakha karo kyunki main Abul Qasim hun aur tumhare darmiyan taqsim karta hun.”
Narrated by Jabir ibn Abdullah: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "At night, close your doors, cover your utensils, extinguish your lamps, and tie up your waterskins, for Satan cannot open a closed door, nor uncover a cover, nor untie a knot, and sometimes a mouse can be the cause of burning down the whole house."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”رات کو سوتے وقت دروازے بند کر لیا کرو اور برتنوں کو ڈھانپ دیا کرو اور چراغ بجھا دیا کرو اور مشکیزوں کا منہ باندھ دیا کرو، کیونکہ شیطان بند دروازے کو نہیں کھول سکتا، کوئی پردہ نہیں ہٹا سکتا اور کوئی بندھن نہیں کھول سکتا اور بعض اوقات ایک چوہا پورے گھر کو جلانے کا سبب بن جاتا ہے۔“
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: “Raat ko sote waqt darwaze band kar liya karo aur bartanoo'n ko dhaanp diya karo aur chiragh bujha diya karo aur mashkizon ka munh bandh diya karo, kyunki shaitan band darwaze ko nahin khol sakta, koi parda nahin hata sakta aur koi bandhan nahin khol sakta aur baaz auqaat ek chuha pure ghar ko jalane ka sabab ban jata hai.”
It is narrated on the authority of Hadrat Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that we performed Hajj with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and we sacrificed one camel on behalf of seven people and one cow on behalf of seven.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ہم نے نبی ﷺ کی موجودگی میں حج کیا اور سات آدمیوں کی طرف سے ایک اونٹ اور سات ہی کی طرف سے ایک گائے ذبح کی تھی۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki hum ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki mojoodgi mein Hajj kiya aur saat aadmiyon ki taraf se ek unt aur saat hi ki taraf se ek gaaye zibah ki thi.
Narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (RA), that the Prophet (PBUH) said: "Keep your wealth with you, do not give it to anyone, and whoever gives something to someone for life, then it becomes theirs."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”اپنے مال کو اپنے پاس سنبھال کر رکھو، کسی کو مت دو، اور جو شخص کسی کو زندگی بھر کے لئے کوئی چیز دے دیتا ہے تو وہ اسی کی ہو جاتی ہے۔“
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Apne mal ko apne pass sambhal kar rakho, kisi ko mat do, aur jo shaksh kisi ko zindagi bhar ke liye koi cheez de deta hai to wo usi ki ho jati hai.“.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that my maternal uncle used to treat scorpion stings with spells. When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prohibited spells and incantations, he came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah! You have forbidden spells, and I treat scorpion stings with them." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever can benefit his brother should do so."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میرے ماموں بچھو کے ڈنگ کا منتر کے ذریعے علاج کرتے تھے، جب نبی ﷺ نے منتر اور جھاڑ پھونک کی ممانعت فرمائی تو وہ نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہو کر کہنے لگے، یا رسول اللہ! آپ نے جھاڑ پھونک سے منع فرما دیا ہے اور میں بچھو کے ڈنگ کا جھاڑ پھونک کے ذریعے علاج کرتا ہوں، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”جو شخص اپنے بھائی کو نفع پہنچا سکتا ہو، اسے ایسے ہی کرنا چاہیے۔“
Sayyida Jaber (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki mere mamun bichhu ke dang ka mantar ke zariye elaj karte the, jab Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mantar aur jhaad phonk ki mamanat farmae to woh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir ho kar kehne lage, Ya Rasulullah! Aap ne jhaad phonk se mana farma diya hai aur mein bichhu ke dang ka jhaad phonk ke zariye elaj karta hun, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: ”Jo shakhs apne bhai ko nafa pahucha sakta ho, use aise hi karna chahiye.“
Narrated by Jabir ibn Abdullah: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade (the traveler) to return to his family at night unexpectedly, lest he should find them off guard or come across their shortcomings.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے رات کے وقت بلا اطلاع گھر واپس آنے سے (مسافر کے لئے) منع فرمایا ہے کہ انسان ان سے خیانت کرے یا ان کی غلطیاں تلاش کرے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne raat ke waqt bila ittila ghar wapas aane se (musafir ke liye) mana farmaya hai ki insan un se khiyanat kare ya un ki ghaltiyan talaash kare.
Narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that some people asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "Which Jihad is the most virtuous?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "That of the one whose horse's legs are cut off and his own blood is shed." And someone asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "Which prayer is the most virtuous?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The long prayer."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ کچھ لوگوں نے نبی ﷺ سے پوچھا کہ سب سے زیادہ افضل جہاد کون سا ہے؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”اس شخص کا جس کے گھوڑے کے پاؤں کٹ جائیں اور اس کا اپنا خون بہہ جائے۔“ اور نبی ﷺ سے کسی نے پوچھا کہ کون سی نماز سب سے افضل ہے؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ لمبی نماز۔
Sayyidna Jabir razi Allah anhu se marvi hai ki kuch logon ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se puchha ki sabse zyada afzal jihad konsa hai? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: ”Us shakhs ka jiske ghore ke paon kat jayen aur uska apna khoon beh jaye.“ Aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se kisi ne puchha ki kon si namaz sabse afzal hai? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki lambi namaz.
Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah: During a journey, the Prophet (peace be upon him) bought my camel from me. He paid me its price in full after weighing it out and tilting the scale generously in my favor. Then he asked me, "Have you prayed two rak'ahs?" I replied, "No." He said, "Go and pray two rak'ahs."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک سفر میں نبی ﷺ نے مجھ سے میرا اونٹ خرید لیا، اور آپ ﷺ نے مجھے وزن کر کے پیسے دیئے اور جھکتا ہوا تولا، اور مجھ سے فرمایا کہ کیا تم نے دو رکعتیں پڑھ لیں ہیں؟ جا کر دو رکعتیں پڑھو۔
Saina Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek safar mein Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mujhse mera unt kharid liya, aur Aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mujhe wazan kar ke paise diye aur jhukta hua tola, aur mujhse farmaya ki kya tumne do rakaten padh li hain? Ja kar do rakaten padho.
Narrated Jabir ibn Abdullah: The Prophet (ﷺ) repaid a loan he took from me and gave me more than what he had borrowed.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ پر میرا کچھ قرض تھا، نبی ﷺ نے وہ مجھے ادا کر دیا اور زائد بھی عطاء فرمایا۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) par mera kuchh qarz tha, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne woh mujhe ada kar diya aur zaid bhi ataa farmaaya.
It is narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would go out, the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) used to walk in front of him, leaving his blessed back for the angels.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ جب نبی ﷺ باہر تشریف لاتے تو صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہم آپ کے آگے چلا کرتے اور آپ ﷺ کی پشت مبارک کو فرشتوں کے لئے چھوڑ دیتے تھے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki jab Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) bahar tashreef laate to Sahaba kiram (رضي الله تعالى عنه) aap ke aage chala karte aur aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki pusht mubarak ko farishton ke liye chhor dete the.
It is narrated by Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked me, "Have you married?" I said, "Yes." He asked, "A virgin or a previously married woman?" I said, "A previously married woman." He asked, "Why didn't you marry a virgin so you could play with her?" He then said, "A woman is married for her religion, wealth, and beauty. So choose the one who is religious, may your hands be covered in dust."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے مجھ سے پوچھا کہ کیا تم نے شادی کر لی میں نے عرض کیا: جی ہاں، پوچھا کہ کنواری سے یا شوہر دیدہ سے؟ میں نے عرض کیا، شوہر دیدہ سے۔ کیونکہ میری چھوٹی بہنیں اور پھوپھیاں ہیں، میں نے ان میں ان ہی جیسی بیوقوف کو لانا مناسب نہ سمجھا، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ کنواری سے نکاح کیوں نہ کیا کہ تم اسے سے کھیلتے؟ پھر فرمایا کہ عورت سے نکاح اس کے دین، مال اور حسن و جمال کی وجہ سے کیا جاتا ہے، تم دین دار کو اپنے لئے منتخب کیا کرو، تمہارے ہاتھ خاک آلود ہوں۔
Saina Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai keh ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mujhse poocha keh kya tumne shadi kar li maine arz kia: ji haan, poocha keh kunwari se ya shohar deeda se? maine arz kia, shohar deeda se. kyunki meri chhoti bahene aur bhhoophian hain, maine un mein un hi jaisi bewakoof ko lana munasib na samjha, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya keh kunwari se nikah kyun na kia keh tum usay se khelte? phir farmaya keh aurat se nikah us ke deen, maal aur husn o jamal ki wajah se kia jata hai, tum deen daar ko apne liye muntakhib kia karo, tumhare hath khaak aalud hain.
It is narrated by Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that after the fourth of Dhul-Hijjah, we left Madinah with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) for Hajj, having put on the Ihram. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered us to make it the Ihram of Umrah. Our hearts felt a little heavy and we were saddened by this. When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to know, he said, "O people! Make yourselves Halal by taking off the Ihram. If I had not brought the sacrificial animal with me, I would have done the same as you." So we did the same, even with our women, whatever is permissible for a non-muhrim. Then, when it was the evening or the day of the 8th of Dhul-Hijjah, we left for Makkah, having it at our backs, reciting the Talbiyah of Hajj.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ہم لوگ ذی الحجہ کی چار تاریخ کو گزرنے کے بعد نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ مدینہ منورہ سے حج کا احرام باندھ کر روانہ ہوئے، نبی ﷺ نے ہمیں حکم دیا کہ ہم اسے عمرہ کا احرام بنا لیں، اس پر ہمارے دل کچھ بوجھل ہوئے اور یہ بات ہمیں بری محسوس ہوئی، نبی ﷺ کو معلوم ہوا تو فرمایا کہ لوگو! احرام کھول کر حلال ہو جاؤ، اگر میں اپنے ساتھ ہدی کا جانور نہ لایا ہوتا تو وہی کرتا جو تم کر و گے، چنانچہ ہم نے ایسا ہی کیا حتیٰ کہ ہم نے اپنی عورتوں سے بھی وہی کچھ کیا جو غیر محرم کر سکتا ہے، حتیٰ تک کہ جب آٹھ ذی الحجہ کی شام یا دن ہوا تو ہم نے مکہ مکرمہ کو اپنی پشت پر رکھا اور حج کا تلبیہ پڑھ کر روانہ ہو گئے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki hum log Zul Hijjah ki chaar tareekh ko guzarne ke baad Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath Madina Munawwara se Hajj ka ehraam bandh kar rawana huye, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne humein hukm diya ki hum ise Umrah ka ehraam bana len, is par humare dil kuch bojhal huye aur yeh baat humein buri mehsoos hui, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko maloom hua to farmaya ki logo! Ehraam khol kar halal ho jao, agar mein apne sath hadi ka janwar na laya hota to wohi karta jo tum kar rahe ho, chunanche humne aisa hi kiya hatta ki humne apni auraton se bhi wohi kuch kiya jo ghair muhrim kar sakta hai, hatta tak ki jab aath Zul Hijjah ki shaam ya din hua to humne Makkah Mukarramah ko apni pusht par rakha aur Hajj ka talbiyah padh kar rawana ho gaye.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade the making of Nabidh by mixing unripe dates, ripe dates, raisins and dates.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے کچی اور پکی کھجور، کشمش اور کھجور کو ملا کر نبیذ بنانے سے منع فرمایا ہے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne kachi aur pakki khajoor, kishmish aur khajoor ko mila kar nabiz banane se mana farmaya hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that Sayyidina Muadh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) used to pray the Isha prayer with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and then he would go to his people and lead them in the same prayer.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ سیدنا معاذ بن جبل رضی اللہ عنہ ابتداء نماز عشاء نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ پڑھتے تھے، پھر اپنی قوم میں جا کر انہیں وہی نماز پڑھا دیتے تھے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Sayyidna Muaz bin Jabal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ibtida namaaz Isha Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath parhte the, phir apni qaum mein ja kar unhen wohi namaaz parha dete the.
Narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever has land, let him cultivate it himself. If he is unable to do so, or is incapable of it, then let him give it as a gift to his brother, and not rent it out."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جس شخص کے پاس زمین ہو اسے چاہیے کہ وہ خود اس میں کھیتی باڑی کرے، اگر خود نہیں کر سکتا یا اس سے عاجز ہے تو اپنے بھائی کو ہدیہ کے طور پر دے دے، کرایہ پر نہ دے۔“
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Jis shakhs ke pass zameen ho usay chahiye ki woh khud us mein kheti bari kare, agar khud nahin kar sakta ya us se aajiz hai to apne bhai ko hadiya ke taur par de de, kiraya par na de.“
Narrated Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Hajj is due upon those who can afford it."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”عمریٰ اس کے لئے جائز ہے جس کے لئے ہبہ کیا گیا ہو۔“
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: ”Umrah uske liye jaiz hai jiske liye hibah kiya gaya ho.“
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade the use of certain utensils, the Ansar (Companions from Medina) said: "We have no other option but to use them." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Then don't use them."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ جب نبی ﷺ نے مختلف برتنوں کے استعمال سے منع فرمایا، تو انصار کہنے لگے کہ ہمارے پاس اس کے علاوہ کوئی چارہ نہیں ہے، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: پھر نہیں۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki jab Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mukhtalif bartan'on ke istemal se mana farmaya, to Ansar kehne lage ki hamare pas iske alawa koi chara nahi hai, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: phir nahi.
Narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I went to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to ask for his help in repaying the debt of my father. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "I will come to you." I returned and said to my wife, "Do not talk to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about this matter, nor ask him any questions about it." So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to us, and we slaughtered a goat for him. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Jabir! It seems that you have realized our fondness for meat." When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was about to leave, my wife said, "O Messenger of Allah! Please pray for me and my husband." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayed for us. I said to my wife, "Didn't I forbid you from that?" She said, "Look, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to us, and should he not pray for us?"

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نبی ﷺ کے پاس اپنے والد صاحب کے قرض کے سلسلے میں تعاون کی درخواست لے کر آیا، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”میں تمہارے پاس آؤں گا“، میں نے واپس جا کر اپنی بیوی سے کہا کہ تم نبی ﷺ سے اس حوالے سے کوئی بات کرنا اور نہ ہی سوال کرنا، چنانچہ نبی ﷺ ہمارے پاس تشریف لائے، تو ہم نے اپنی ایک بکری ذبح کی، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”جابر! ایسا لگتا ہے کہ تمہیں گوشت کے ساتھ ہمارے تعلق خاطر کا پتہ لگ گیا ہے“، جب نبی ﷺ واپس جانے لگے تو میری بیوی نے کہا: یا رسول اللہ! میرے لئے اور میرے خاوند کے لئے دعاء فرما دیجیے، نبی ﷺ نے دعا فرمائی، میں نے اپنی بیوی سے کہا کہ کیا میں نے تمہیں منع نہ کیا تھا؟ اس نے کہا کہ دیکھو تو سہی نبی ﷺ ہمارے یہاں تشریف لائیں اور ہمارے لئے دعا نہ فرمائیں۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek martaba mein Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke paas apne walid sahab ke qarz ke silsile mein taawun ki darkhwast lekar aaya, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Mein tumhare paas aaunga", mein ne wapas ja kar apni biwi se kaha ki tum Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se is hawale se koi baat karna aur na hi sawal karna, chunancha Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) hamare paas tashrif laaye, to hum ne apni ek bakri zibah ki, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Jabir! Aisa lagta hai ki tumhein gosht ke sath humare talluq khatir ka pata lag gaya hai", jab Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) wapas jane lage to meri biwi ne kaha: Ya Rasul Allah! Mere liye aur mere khaawand ke liye dua farma dijiye, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne dua farmaayi, mein ne apni biwi se kaha ki kya mein ne tumhein mana na kiya tha? Us ne kaha ki dekho to sahi Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) hamare yahan tashrif laaye aur hamare liye dua na farmaayen.
Narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him): “The Zuhr prayer is like its name (meaning its time is when the sun is at its zenith). The Asr prayer is named after the sun being bright and fresh. The Maghrib prayer is also like its name (meaning its time is at sunset). We used to return to our homes after praying Maghrib with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) from a distance of one mile, and we could still see the place where the arrow had fallen (indicating it wasn't completely dark yet). And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would sometimes offer the Isha prayer early and sometimes late. And the Fajr prayer is also like its name (meaning its time is at dawn), and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to pray Fajr when it was still dark."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نماز ظہر اپنے نام کی طرح ہے، نماز عصر سورج کے روشن اور تازہ دم ہونے کا نام ہے، نماز مغرب بھی اپنے نام کی طرح ہے، ہم لوگ نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ نماز مغرب پڑھ کر ایک میل کے فاصلے پر اپنے گھروں کو واپس لوٹتے تھے تو ہمیں تیر گرنے کی جگہ دکھائی دیتی تھی، اور نبی ﷺ نماز عشاء کبھی جلدی اور کبھی تاخیر سے ادا فرماتے تھے، اور نماز فجر بھی اپنے نام کی طرح ہی ہے، اور نبی ﷺ نماز فجر منہ اندھیرے پڑھتے تھے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki namaz Zuhr apne naam ki tarah hai, namaz Asr suraj ke roshan aur taaza dum hone ka naam hai, namaz Maghrib bhi apne naam ki tarah hai, hum log Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath namaz Maghrib parh kar ek meel ke faasle par apne gharon ko wapas laut te the to humein teer girne ki jagah dikhai deti thi, aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) namaz Isha kabhi jaldi aur kabhi takheer se ada farmate the, aur namaz Fajr bhi apne naam ki tarah hi hai, aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) namaz Fajr munh andhere parhte the.
It is narrated on the authority of Hadrat Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever has three daughters, provides them with residence, shows them compassion and takes care of them, Paradise will surely be obligatory for him." Someone asked: "O Messenger of Allah! What if someone has two daughters?" He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Then too, the same ruling applies." Some people believe that if they had asked about one, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would have said the same ruling applies even if there is one daughter.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جس شخص کی تین بیٹیاں ہوں، جن کی رہائش، ان پر شفقت اور کفالت وہ کرتا ہو، اس کے لئے جنت یقینی طور پر واجب ہو جائے گی“، کسی نے پوچھا: یا رسول اللہ! اگر کسی کی دو بیٹیاں ہوں تو؟ فرمایا: ”پھر بھی یہی حکم ہے“، بعض لوگوں کا خیال ہے کہ اگر وہ ایک کے متعلق سوال کرتے تو نبی ﷺ یہ بھی فرما دیتے کہ ایک بیٹی ہو تب بھی یہی حکم ہے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Jis shakhs ki teen betiyan hon, jin ki rahaish, un per shafqat aur kafalat woh karta ho, uske liye jannat yaqeeni taur per wajib ho jayegi“, kisi ne poocha: Ya Rasul Allah! Agar kisi ki do betiyan hon to? Farmaya: ”Phir bhi yahi hukm hai“, baaz logon ka khayal hai ki agar woh ek ke mutalliq sawal karte to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ye bhi farma dete ki ek beti ho tab bhi yahi hukm hai.
Narrated by Jabir ibn Abdullah: We were on a journey with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). When we were about to enter the city upon our return, he said: "Wait! We will enter the city at night," meaning after sunset. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to them, "When you enter the city at night, do so discreetly, so that the woman whose husband is away can remove the hair from her body and the disheveled woman can adorn herself."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ہم لوگ ایک سفر میں نبی ﷺ کے ہمراہ تھے، واپسی پر جب ہم شہر میں داخل ہونے لگے تو فرمایا: ”ٹھہرو! رات کو شہر میں داخل ہوں گے“ یعنی مغرب کے بعد نبی ﷺ نے ان سے فرمایا کہ جب تم رات کے وقت شہر میں داخل ہو تو بلا اطلاع، تاکہ شوہر کی غیر موجودگی والی عورت اپنے جسم سے بال صاف کر لے اور پراگندہ حال عورت بناؤ سنگھار کر لے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki hum log ek safar mein Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke hamrah the, wapsi par jab hum shehar mein dakhil hone lage to farmaya: “Thahro! Raat ko shehar mein dakhil honge” yani Maghrib ke baad Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unse farmaya ki jab tum raat ke waqt shehar mein dakhil ho to bila ittila, taake shohar ki ghair maujoodgi wali aurat apne jism se baal saaf kar le aur paraganda haal aurat banaao singhaar kar le.
Narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him): A child was born to an Ansari man. He named him Qasim. We told him, "We will not let you keep this name until we ask the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)." So we went to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and asked him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Name yourselves after me, but do not adopt my Kunya (nickname) because I have been sent as a distributor among you."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک انصاری کے ہاں ایک بچہ پیدا ہوا، انہوں نے اس کا نام قاسم رکھ دیا ہم نے ان سے کہا کہ ہم تمہیں یہ کنیت نہیں رکھنے دیں گے تاآنکہ نبی ﷺ سے پوچھ لیں، چنانچہ ہم نے نبی ﷺ سے آ کر دریافت کیا تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ میرے نام پر اپنا نام رکھ کیا کرو، لیکن میری کنیت پر اپنی کنیت نہ رکھا کرو کیونکہ میں تمہارے درمیان تقسیم کرنے والا بنا کر بھیجا گیا ہوں۔
Saina Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki aik Ansaari ke han aik baccha paida hua, unhon ne is ka naam Qasim rakh diya hum ne un se kaha ki hum tumhen ye kunniyat nahin rakhne denge taake Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se puchh len, chunancha hum ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se aa kar daryaft kiya to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki mere naam par apna naam rakh liya karo, lekin meri kunniyat par apni kunniyat na rakha karo kyunki main tumhare darmiyan taqsim karne wala bana kar bheja gaya hun.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to perform ghusl (ritual bath) with one Sa'a (a unit of measurement) of water and wudu (ablution) with one Mudd (a unit of measurement) of water.

Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ek sa' se ghusl aur ek mudd se wuzu farma liya karte the.
It is narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (RA) that we were on a journey with the Prophet (PBUH). The Prophet (PBUH) bought my camel from me and allowed me to ride it till Madinah. After returning to Madinah, I presented the camel to the Prophet (PBUH) and handed it over to him. The Prophet (PBUH) paid me its price and I returned. On the way, I met the Prophet (PBUH) again. I thought that perhaps he had changed his mind. But the Prophet (PBUH) handed me the camel and said, "This is also yours." Incidentally, I passed by a Jew. I told him this incident. He was surprised, "The Prophet (PBUH) bought the camel from you, then paid its price and gifted the camel back to you?" I said, "Yes."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ہم لوگ ایک سفر میں نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ تھے، نبی ﷺ نے مجھ سے میرا اونٹ خرید لیا، اور مجھے مدینہ منورہ تک اس پر سواری کی اجازت دے دی، مدینہ واپسی کے بعد میں وہ اونٹ نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں لے کر حاضر ہوا، اور اونٹ نبی ﷺ کے حوالے کر دیا، نبی ﷺ نے مجھے قیمت ادا کر دی اور میں واپس ہو گیا، راستے میں نبی ﷺ دوبارہ مجھے آ ملے میں نے سوچا کہ شاید آپ کی رائے بدل گئی ہے، لیکن نبی ﷺ نے وہ اونٹ میرے حوالے کر کے فرمایا کہ یہ بھی تمہارا ہوا، اتفاقاً میرا گزر ایک یہودی کے پاس سے ہوا، میں نے اسے یہ واقعہ بتایا تو وہ تعجب کرنے لگا کہ نبی ﷺ نے تم سے اونٹ خریدا، پھر اس کی قیمت بھی دے دی اور وہ اونٹ بھی تمہیں ہبہ کر دیا؟ میں نے کہا جی ہاں۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki hum log aik safar mein Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath thay, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mujh se mera unt kharid liya, aur mujhe Madina Munawwara tak is par sawari ki ijazat de di, Madina wapsi ke bad mein woh unt Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein lekar hazir hua, aur unt Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke hawale kar diya, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mujhe qeemat ada kar di aur mein wapas ho gaya, rastay mein Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) dobara mujhe aa milay mein ne socha ki shayad aap ki raay badal gayi hai, lekin Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne woh unt mere hawale kar ke farmaya ki yeh bhi tumhara hua, ittefaqan mera guzar aik Yahoodi ke pass se hua, mein ne usay yeh waqea bataya to woh taajjub karne laga ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne tum se unt kharida, phir us ki qeemat bhi de di aur woh unt bhi tumhein hiba kar diya? Mein ne kaha ji haan.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the day of the Battle of Uhud, an arrow struck a vein in the arm of Sayyiduna Abi bin Ka’b (may Allah be pleased with him). On the order of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), his arm was cauterized.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ غزوہ احد کے دن ایک تیر سیدنا ابی بن کعب رضی اللہ عنہ کے بازو کی ایک رگ میں آ لگا، نبی ﷺ کے حکم پر ان کے بازو کو داغ دیا گیا۔
Syedna Jaber Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai keh Gazwa Uhud ke din aik teer Syedna Abi bin Kaab Radi Allaho Anho ke bazu ki aik rag mein aa laga, Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ke hukum par unke bazu ko daagh diya gaya.
It was narrated from Jabir bin Abdullah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "A neighbor has more right to the pre-emption of his neighbor's house; if he is absent he should be waited for, so long as they share the same path."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”پڑوسی اپنے پڑوسی کے مکان پر شفعہ کا زیادہ حق رکھتا ہے اگر وہ غائب ہو تو اس کا انتظار کیا جائے گا، جبکہ دونوں کا راستہ ایک ہو۔“
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: "Parosi apne parosi ke makaan par shafa ka zyada haq rakhta hai agar wo ghaib ho to uska intezar kiya jayega, jabke donon ka rasta ek ho.".
It was narrated from Jabir bin ‘Abdullah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “‘Umrah is permissible for its people, and Riqab is permissible for its people.”

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”عمریٰ اس کے اہل کے لئے جائز ہے اور رقبیٰ اس کے اہل کے لئے جائز ہے۔“
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: ”Umrah iske ahl ke liye jaiz hai aur raqba iske ahl ke liye jaiz hai.“
Narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever intentionally attributes a lie to me, let him prepare his place in Hellfire."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جو شخص جان بوجھ کر میری طرف کسی بات کی جھوٹی نسبت کرے، اسے جہنم میں اپنا ٹھکانہ بنا لینا چاہیے۔“
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Jo shakhs jaan boojh kar meri taraf kisi baat ki jhooti nisbat kare, use jahannam mein apna thikana bana lena chahiye.“
It is narrated on the authority of Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sent us on a journey with Abu Ubaidah (may Allah be pleased with him). On the way, our provisions ran out. It so happened that we came across a large fish that the sea had thrown out. We wanted to eat it, but Abu Ubaidah (may Allah be pleased with him) initially forbade us. Then he said that we are the messengers of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and are on the path of Allah, so we should eat it. So we ate it for several days. When we returned, we mentioned it to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "If you have any part of it left, then send some to us."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ہمیں ایک سفر میں سیدنا ابوعبیدہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے ساتھ بھیجا راستے میں ہمارا زاد سفر ختم ہو گیا، اسی دوران ہمارا گزر ایک بہت بڑی مچھلی پر ہوا جو سمندر نے باہر پھینک دی تھی، ہم نے اسے کھانا چاہا لیکن سیدنا ابوعبیدہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے پہلے تو ہمیں منع کر دیا، پھر فرمایا کہ ہم لوگ نبی ﷺ کے قاصد اور اللہ کے راستے میں نکلے ہیں، اس لئے اسے کھا لو چنانچہ ہم کئی دن اسے کھاتے رہے اور واپس آنے کے بعد ہم نے نبی ﷺ سے بھی اس کا تذکر ہ کیا، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”اگر اس کا کچھ حصہ تمہارے پاس بچا ہوا تو وہ ہمیں بھی بھیجو۔“
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne hamen ek safar mein Sayyidna Abu Ubaidah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke sath bheja raste mein hamara zad e safar khatam ho gaya, isi dauran hamara guzar ek bahut badi machhli par hua jo samandar ne bahar phenk di thi, humne ise khana chaha lekin Sayyidna Abu Ubaidah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne pehle to hamen mana kar diya, phir farmaya ki hum log Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke qasid aur Allah ke raste mein nikle hain, is liye ise kha lo chunancha hum kai din ise khate rahe aur wapas aane ke bad humne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se bhi iska tazkira kiya, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Agar iska kuchh hissa tumhare pass bacha hua to wo hamen bhi bhejo."
Narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once Suraqah bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) came and said, "O Messenger of Allah! What is the purpose of deeds, has the pen dried after writing it and the decree of destiny has been enforced or do we create our own destiny?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The pen has dried after writing it and the decree of destiny has been enforced." He asked, "Then what is the benefit of deeds?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Keep doing deeds because everyone will be made to do that for which he was created.".

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ سراقہ بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ آئے، اور کہنے لگے، یا رسول اللہ! عمل کس مقصد کے لئے ہے، کیا قلم اسے لکھ کر خشک ہو گئے اور تقدیر کا حکم نافذ ہو گیا یا پھر ہم اپنی تقدیر خود ہی بناتے ہیں، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”قلم اسے لکھ کر خشک ہو چکے اور تقدیر کا حکم نافذ ہو گیا“، انہوں نے پوچھا کہ پھر عمل کا کیا فائد؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”عمل کرتے رہو کیونکہ ہر ایک کے لئے اس عمل کو آسان کر دیا جائے گا جس کے لئے اسے پیدا کیا گیا ہے۔“
Sayyida Jaber (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki aik martaba Suraqah bin Malik (رضي الله تعالى عنه) aaye, aur kehne lage, Ya Rasul Allah! Amal kis maqsad ke liye hai, kya qalam ise likh kar khushk ho gaye aur taqdeer ka hukm nafiz ho gaya ya phir hum apni taqdeer khud hi banate hain, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: ”Qalam ise likh kar khushk ho chuke aur taqdeer ka hukm nafiz ho gaya“, unhon ne poocha ki phir amal ka kya faida? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: ”Amal karte raho kyunki har ek ke liye is amal ko asaan kar diya jayega jis ke liye ise paida kiya gaya hai.“.
It is narrated on the authority of Hadhrat Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once a person asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about the Ghusl (ritual bath) of Janabah (state of impurity after sexual intercourse). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, “I pour water over my head three times.”

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ کسی شخص نے نبی ﷺ سے غسل جنابت کے متعلق پوچھا تو آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ میں تو اپنے سر پر تین مرتبہ پانی ڈال لیتا ہوں۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek martaba kisi shakhs ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se ghusl janabat ke mutalliq poocha to aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki main to apne sar par teen martaba pani daal leta hun.
Narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever visits a sick person is immersed in the mercy of Allah until he goes and sits with him, and when he sits, he is drowning in it."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جو شخص کسی مریض کی عیادت کو جاتا ہے، وہ رحمت الٰہی میں گھستا جاتا ہے یہاں تک کہ اس کے پاس جا کر بیٹھ جائے اور جب بیٹھ جائے تو اس میں غوطہ زنی کرنے لگتا ہے۔“
Saina Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Jo shakhs kisi mariz ki ayadat ko jata hai, woh rehmat ilahi mein ghussta jata hai yahan tak ke uske paas ja kar baith jaye aur jab baith jaye to usme ghota zani karne lagta hai.“
