Narrated Jabir bin Abdullah: I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying: Between the eyes of Dajjal will be written "Kafir" which every believer, literate or illiterate, will be able to read.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ دجال کی دونوں آنکھوں کے درمیان کافر لکھا ہو گا جسے ہر بندہ مومن پڑھ لے گا۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai ki Dajjal ki donon aankhon ke darmiyan kafir likha hoga jise har banda momin parh lega.
Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: The keys of the treasures of the earth were brought to me, and were placed in my hand while I was riding a piebald horse wearing a silken saddle-cloth.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: میرے پاس ایک چتکبرے گھوڑے پر جس پر ریشمی کپڑا تھا رکھ کر دنیا کی کنجیاں لائی گئیں۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: mere pass ek chitkabre ghore par jis par reshmi kapda tha rakh kar duniya ki kunjiyan laayi gayeen.
Narrated Jabir (RA): The Prophet (PBUH) said, "Let one of you prevent his hand from stoning (even) with a pebble, for that is better for him than a hundred camels, all of them black-eyed, if Satan should overpower any of you, then let him do it only once.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: تم میں سے کوئی آدمی کنکر یوں کو چھیڑنے سے اپنا ہاتھ روک کر رکھے یہ اس کے حق میں ایسی سو اونٹنیوں سے بہتر ہے جن میں سب کی آنکھوں کی پتلیاں سیاہ ہوں اگر تم میں سے کسی پر شیطان غالب آہی جائے تو صرف ایک مرتبہ کر لے۔
Saina Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Tum mein se koi aadmi kankar yun ko chherne se apna hath rok kar rakhe ye uske haq mein aisi sau untniyon se behtar hai jin mein sab ki aankhon ki patliyan siyah hon agar tum mein se kisi par shaitan galib aa hi jaye to sirf ek martaba kar le.
Narrated by Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him): Once, Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) went to the Prophet's house and asked for permission to enter. Since there were many people at the door, he was not allowed. After a while, Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) also asked for permission, but he was also not allowed to enter. After a while, both of them were granted permission and entered the house. At that time, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was sitting with his wives. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was sitting silently. Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) thought that he should say something that might make him laugh. So he said, "O Messenger of Allah! If I were to see your wife, Zainab bint Jahsh, asking me for money, I would strangle her." Upon this, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) laughed so much that his blessed teeth became visible. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "These women whom you see with me are asking me for money." Hearing this, Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) got up to hit Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), and Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) went towards Hafsa (may Allah be pleased with her), and both began to say, "You ask the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) for something that he does not have?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stopped both of them, and all the Mothers of the Believers (may Allah be pleased with them) said, "By Allah, after today, we will not ask the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) for anything that he does not have." After this, Allah revealed the verse of choice. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), "I want to mention something to you. I do not want you to rush into it, but consult your parents first and then give me the answer." They asked, "What is it?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) recited the verse of choice to them. Upon hearing it, Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said, "Should I consult my parents about you? I choose Allah and His Messenger. However, I request you not to mention my answer to any other of your wives." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Allah has not sent me to make things difficult, but He has sent me to make things clear and easy. So, whoever among my wives asks me about your answer, I will definitely tell them."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ سیدنا ابوبکر کاشانہ نبوت پر حاضر ہوئے اندر جانے کی اجازت چاہی چونکہ کافی سارے لوگ دروازے پر موجود تھے اس لئے اجازت نہ مل سکی تھوڑی دیر بعد سیدنا عمر نے بھی اجازت چاہی لیکن انہیں بھی اندر جانے کی اجازت نہ مل سکی تھوڑی دیر بعد دونوں حضرات کو اجازت مل گئی اور وہ گھر میں داخل ہو گئے اس وقت نبی ﷺ تشریف فرما تھے اردگرد ازواج مطہرات تھیں نبی ﷺ خاموش بیٹھے ہوئے تھے سیدنا عمر نے سوچا کہ میں کوئی بات کر وں شاید آپ کو ہنسی آ جائے چنانچہ وہ کہنے لگے کہ یا رسول اللہ! اگر آپ بنت زید اپنی بیوی کو ابھی مجھ سے نفقہ کا سوال کرتے ہوئے دیکھیں تو میں اس کی گردن دبا دوں گا اس پر نبی ﷺ اتنا ہنسے کہ آپ کے دندان مبارک ظاہر ہو گئے۔ پھر نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: یہ خواتین جنہیں تم میرے پاس دیکھ رہے ہو یہ مجھ سے نفقہ ہی کا سوال کر رہی ہیں یہ سن کر سیدنا صدیق اکبر اٹھ کر سیدنا عائشہ کو مارنے کے لئے بڑھے اور سیدنا عمر حفصہ کی طرف بڑھے اور دونوں کہنے لگے کہ تم نبی ﷺ سے اس چیز کا سوال کر تی ہو جو ان کے پاس نہیں ہے نبی ﷺ نے ان دونوں کو روکا اور تمام ازواج مطہرات کہنے لگیں کہ واللہ آج کے بعد ہم نبی ﷺ سے کسی ایسی چیز کا سوال نہیں کر یں گے جو نبی ﷺ کے پاس نہ ہو۔ اس کے بعد اللہ نے آیت تخبیر نازل فرمائی نبی ﷺ نے سب سے پہلے سیدنا عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہ آغاز کرتے ہوئے فرمایا کہ تمہارے سامنے ایک بات ذکر کرنا چاہتا ہوں میں نہیں چاہتا کہ تم اس میں جلد بازی سے کام لو بلکہ اپنے پہلے والدین سے مشورہ کر لو پھر مجھے جواب دینا انہوں نے پوچھا کہ وہ کیا بات ہے نبی ﷺ نے انہیں آیت تخبیر پڑھ کر سنائی جسے سن کر سیدنا عائشہ کہنے لگیں کہ کیا آپ کے متعلق میں اپنے والدین سے مشورہ کر وں گی میں تو اللہ اور اس کے رسول کو اختیار کر تی ہوں البتہ آپ سے درخواست ہے کہ میرا یہ جواب کسی دوسری زوجہ محترمہ سے ذکر نہ کیجیے گا نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: اللہ نے مجھے درشتی کرنے والا بنا کر نہیں بھیجا بلکہ مجھے معلوم اور آسانی کرنے والا بنا کر بھیجا ہے اس لئے ازواج میں سے جس نے بھی مجھ سے تمہارے جواب کے متعلق پوچھا: میں اسے ضرور بتاؤں گا۔

It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said: "A certain man has a fruit-bearing tree in my garden. He has caused me so much trouble that I am now in great distress because of this one tree of his." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sent for the man and said: "Sell me your tree which is in so-and-so's garden." He refused. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Then give it to me as a gift." He again refused. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Then sell it to me in exchange for a tree in Paradise." He again refused. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "I have not seen anyone more stingy than you, except for the one who is stingy in greeting with Salam."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک آدمی نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا اور کہنے لگا کہ فلاں آدمی کا میرے باغ میں ایک پھل دار درخت ہے اس نے مجھے اتنی تکلیف پہنچائی ہے کہ اب اس کے ایک درخت کی وجہ سے میں بہت مشقت میں مبتلا ہو گیا ہوں نبی ﷺ نے اس آدمی کو بلا بھیجا اور فرمایا کہ فلاں آدمی کے باغ میں جو تمہارا درخت ہے وہ میرے ہاتھ فروخت کر دو اس نے انکار کر دیا نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ مجھے ہبہ کر دو اس نے پھر انکار کر دیا نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: پھر جنت میں ایک درخت کے عوض ہی بیچ ڈالو اس نے پھر انکار کر دیا نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ میں نے تجھ سے بڑا بخیل کوئی نہیں دیکھا سوائے اس شخص کے جو سلام میں بخل کرتا ہے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki aik aadmi Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir hua aur kehne laga ki falan aadmi ka mere bagh mein ek phal dar darakht hai usne mujhe itni takleef pahunchai hai ki ab uske ek darakht ki wajah se mein bahut mashaqqat mein mubtala ho gaya hun. Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne us aadmi ko bula bheja aur farmaya ki falan aadmi ke bagh mein jo tumhara darakht hai woh mere hath farokht kar do. Usne inkar kar diya. Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki mujhe hiba kar do usne phir inkar kar diya. Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: phir jannat mein ek darakht ke badle hi bech daalo usne phir inkar kar diya. Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki maine tujhse bada bakhil koi nahi dekha siwaye us shakhs ke jo salam mein bakhil karta hai.
Saeed bin Harith narrates: Once we visited Jabir ibn Abdullah who was offering prayer wrapped in a single cloth while another cloth was lying so close to him that he could have easily reached it if he wanted. When he finished the prayer, we asked him about it. He said, “I did this so that even fools like you could see it and convey Jabir’s example to the people – the leniency that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had granted.” He further said, “Once I went on a journey with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). At night, I came to him while he was offering prayer wrapped in a single cloth. I also had only one cloth on me, so I wrapped myself in it and stood next to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) for prayer. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked, ‘Jabir, what kind of wrapping is this?’ I replied, ‘O Messenger of Allah, I have only one cloth.’ The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, ‘Jabir, when you are about to pray and you have only one cloth that is loose, wrap yourself properly in it. And if it is tight, then make it into a lower garment (izar).’”

سعید بن حارث کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ ہم لوگ سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ کے یہاں گئے وہ ایک کپڑے میں لپٹ کر نماز پڑھ رہے تھے حالانکہ دوسری چادر ان کے اتنے قریب پڑی ہوئی تھی کہ اگر وہ ہاتھ بڑھا کر اسے پکڑنا چاہتے تو ان کا ہاتھ باآسانی پہنچ جاتا جب انہوں نے سلام پھیرا تو ہم نے ان سے یہی مسئلہ پوچھا: انہوں نے فرمایا کہ میں نے یہ اس لئے کیا ہے کہ تم جیسے احمق بھی دیکھ لیں اور جابر رضی اللہ عنہ کے حوالے سے وہ رخصت لوگوں میں پھیلا دیں جو نبی ﷺ نے دے رکھی ہے پھر فرمایا کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ کسی سفر پر نکلا میں رات کے وقت نبی ﷺ کے پاس آیا تو آپ ایک کپڑے میں نماز پڑھ رہے تھے میرے جسم پر بھی ایک ہی کپڑا تھا اس لئے میں بھی اسے جسم پر لپیٹ کر نبی ﷺ کے پہلو میں کھڑا ہو گیا نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: جابر رضی اللہ عنہ یہ کیسالپٹنا ہے؟ جب تم نماز پڑھنے لگو اور تمہارے اوپر ایک ہی کپڑا ہوا اور وہ کشادہ ہو تو اسے خوب اچھی طرح لپیٹ لو اور اگر تنگ ہو تو اس کا تہنبد بنا لو۔
Saeed bin Haris kehte hain ki aik martaba hum log Sayyidna Jaber (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke yahan gaye woh aik kapre mein lipat kar namaz parh rahe the halanki dusri chadar unke itne qareeb pari hui thi ki agar woh hath barha kar use pakarna chahte toh unka hath ba asani pahunch jata jab unhon ne salam phera toh humne unse yahi masla poocha: unhon ne farmaya ki maine yeh isliye kiya hai ki tum jaise ahmaq bhi dekh len aur Jaber (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke hawale se woh rukhsat logon mein phela den jo Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne de rakhi hai phir farmaya ki aik martaba mein Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath kisi safar par nikla mein raat ke waqt Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke pass aaya toh aap aik kapre mein namaz parh rahe the mere jism par bhi aik hi kapra tha isliye mein bhi use jism par lapet kar Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke pehlu mein khara ho gaya Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Jaber (رضي الله تعالى عنه) yeh kaisa lapetna hai? Jab tum namaz parhne lago aur tumhare upar aik hi kapra hua aur woh kushada ho toh use khoob achchi tarah lapet lo aur agar tang ho toh uska tahband bana lo.
Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah: The Prophet (ﷺ) went with one of his companions to the house of an Ansari man and greeted (the people in the house). The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "If you have some water left over from last night in your water-skin, (give us some to drink), otherwise we will manage with (the water which is in) its bottom." That man was watering (his land). He said, "I have some water left over from last night," He went to his dwelling place, put the water in a cup and milked a she-goat over it. The Prophet (ﷺ) drank (the milk) and then the man who was with him, drank it.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ اپنے ایک ساتھی کے ہمراہ کسی انصار کے گھر تشریف لے گئے اور جا کر سلام کیا اگر تمہارے پاس اس برتن میں رات کا بچا ہوا پانی موجود ہے تو ٹھیک ہے ورنہ ہم لوگ منہ لگا کر پی لیتے ہیں اس وقت وہ آدمی اپنے باغ کو پانی لگارہا تھا وہ نبی ﷺ سے کہنے لگا کہ میرے پاس رات کا بچا ہوا پانی ہے اور ان دونوں کو لے کر اپنے خیمے کی طرف چل پڑا وہاں پہنچ کر ایک پیالے میں پانی ڈالا اور اس پر بکری کا دودھ دوہا جسے نبی ﷺ نے نوش فرمالیا اور نبی ﷺ کے بعد آپ کے ساتھ آنے والے صاحب نے پی لیا۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) apne ek sathi ke hamrah kisi Ansar ke ghar tashreef le gaye aur ja kar salam kiya agar tumhare pass is bartan mein raat ka bacha hua pani mojood hai to theek hai warna hum log munh laga kar pee lete hain is waqt woh aadmi apne bagh ko pani laga raha tha woh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se kehne laga ki mere pass raat ka bacha hua pani hai aur in donon ko le kar apne khaimey ki taraf chal pada wahan pahunch kar ek piyale mein pani dala aur is par bakri ka doodh doha jise Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne nosh farmaya aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke baad aap ke sath aane wale sahab ne pee liya.
Abu Sumayyah said: “Once there was a dispute amongst us regarding the verse of the Quran about Jahannam (Hellfire) in which it is stated that every person will enter it. Some people said that Muslims will not enter Jahannam, and others said that everyone will enter, but Allah will grant salvation to the pious. I went to Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) and asked him about it. I said: “There is a difference of opinion amongst us regarding this matter. Some people are saying that Muslims will not enter Jahannam, while others say that everyone will enter. He pointed his finger towards his ears and said: ‘May these ears become deaf if I had not heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say that ‘entering’ means entering, and there will be no one, good or bad, who will not enter Jahannam. However, for the believer, it will become a source of coolness and safety, just as it was for Sayyiduna Ibrahim (Abraham). To the extent that due to the coolness of the believers, Jahannam will start to scream. Then Allah will grant salvation to the pious and leave the oppressors there on their knees.”

ابوسمیہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ ہمارے درمیان جہنم میں ورد جس کے بارے میں قرآن میں آتا ہے کہ ہر شخص جہنم میں وارد ہو گا کے متعلق اختلاف رائے ہو گیا کچھ لوگ کہنے لگے کہ مسلمان جہنم میں داخل نہیں ہوں گے اور کچھ لوگ کہنے لگے کہ داخل تو سب ہوں گے البتہ اللہ تعالیٰ متقیوں کو جہنم سے نجات عطا فرمائے گا میں اس سلسلے میں سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے جا کر ملا اور ان سے عرض کیا: کہ ہمارے درمیان اس مسئلے میں اختلاف ہو گیا بعض لوگ کہہ رہے ہیں کہ مسلمان جہنم میں داخل نہیں ہوں گے اور بعض کہنا ہے کہ سب ہی داخل ہوں گے اس پر انہوں نے اپنی انگلی سے اپنے کانوں کی طرف اشارہ کیا اور فرمایا کہ یہ کان بہرے ہو جائیں گے اگر میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے نہ سنا ہو کہ ورد سے مراد دخول ہے اور کوئی نیک و بد ایسا نہیں رہے گا جو جہنم میں داخل نہ ہوالبتہ مومن پر وہ اس طرح ٹھنڈک اور سلامتی کا ذریعہ بن جائے گی جیسے سیدنا ابراہیم کے لئے ہو گئی تھی حتی کہ مومنین کی ٹھنڈک سے جہنم چیخنے لگی گے پھر اللہ متقیوں کو اس سے نجات عطا فرمادے گا اور ظالموں کو اس میں گھٹنوں کے بل پر چھوڑ دے گا۔

It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) shrouded Sayyiduna Hamza (may Allah be pleased with him) in a single piece of cloth that had stripes on it.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے سیدنا حمزہ کو ایک کپڑے میں کفن دیا تھا اور اس پر دھاریاں بنی ہوئی تھیں۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Sayyidna Hamza ko aik kapre mein kafan diya tha aur us par dhariyan bani hui thin.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (RA) that at the time of Hudaibiya, people were struck by intense thirst. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had only one bowl of water, from which he was performing ablution. The people, in distress, came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He asked, "What is the matter?" They replied, "O Messenger of Allah! We have no water to drink or to perform ablution with, except for this water that is in front of you." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) placed his blessed hand into the bowl, and water began to gush forth from between his fingers like springs. We all drank from it and performed ablution. The narrator asked, "How many of you were there?" They replied, "Even if we were one hundred thousand, that water would have been sufficient for us, but at that time we were only fifteen hundred."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ حدیبیہ کے موقع پر لوگوں کو پیاس نے ستایا نبی ﷺ کے پاس صرف ایک پیالہ تھا جس سے آپ وضو فرما رہے تھے لوگ گھبرائے ہوئے نبی ﷺ کے پاس آئے نبی ﷺ نے پوچھا کہ کیا ہوا لوگوں نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! ہمارے پاس پینے کے لئے پانی ہے اور نہ ہی وضو کے لئے سوائے اس پانی کے جو آپ کے سامنے ہے نبی ﷺ نے اس پیالہ میں اپنا دست مبارک رکھ دیا ان انگلیوں کے درمیان سے چشموں کی طرح ابلنے لگاہم سب نے اسے پیا اور وضو کیا راوی نے پوچھا کہ اس وقت آپ کتنے لوگ تھے انہوں نے جواب دیا کہ اگر ہم ایک لاکھ بھی ہوتے تو وہ پانی ہمیں کافی ہو جاتا لیکن اس وقت ہم صرف پندرہ سو تھے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Hudaibiya ke mauqe par logon ko pyaas ne sataya Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke paas sirf ek pyala tha jis se aap wuzu farma rahe the log ghabraye huye Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke paas aaye Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne poocha ki kya hua logon ne arz kiya: Ya Rasulullah! Hamare paas pine ke liye pani hai aur na hi wuzu ke liye siwaye is pani ke jo aap ke samne hai Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne is pyala mein apna dast mubarak rakh diya in ungliyon ke darmiyan se chashmon ki tarah ubalne laga hum sab ne ise piya aur wuzu kiya ravi ne poocha ki us waqt aap kitne log the unhon ne jawab diya ki agar hum ek lakh bhi hote to wo pani humain kafi ho jata lekin us waqt hum sirf pandrah sau the.
It is narrated by Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I had the privilege of participating in 19 battles with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). However, I could not participate in the Battles of Badr and Uhud due to my father's prohibition. But after the martyrdom of my father in the Battle of Uhud, I never lagged behind in any battle.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے میں نے نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ انیس غزوات میں شرکت کی سعادت حاصل کی ہے البتہ میں غزوہ بدر میں اور احد میں والد صاحب کے منع کرنے کی وجہ سے شریک نہیں ہو سکا تھا لیکن غزوہ احد میں اپنے والد صاحب کی شہادت کے بعد کسی غزوے میں کبھی پیچھے نہیں رہا۔
Syedna Jabir Razi Allahu Anhu se marvi hai maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath unis ghazwaat mein shirkat ki saadat hasil ki hai albatta mein ghazwa badr mein aur uhud mein walid sahib ke mana karne ki wajah se sharik nahi ho saka tha lekin ghazwa uhud mein apne walid sahib ki shahadat ke baad kisi ghazwe mein kabhi peeche nahi raha.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I once heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying that when any one of you gives his brother the funeral shroud, he should shroud him well.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ جب تم میں سے کوئی شخص اپنے بھائی کو کفن دے تو اچھے طریقے سے کفنائے۔
Sayyidaana Jaabir razi Allaah anhu se maravi hai ki ek martaba main ne Nabi sallal laahu alaihi wasallam ko ye farmate hue suna hai ki jab tum mein se koi shakhs apne bhai ko kafan de to achchhe tareeqe se kafnaye.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that a funeral procession of a Jew passed by the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and he stood up. He remained standing until the procession had passed.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کے قریب سے ایک یہو دی کا جنازہ گزرا تو آپ کھڑے ہو گئے یہاں تک کہ وہ گزر گیا۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke qareeb se ek Yahoodi ka janaza guzra to aap kharay ho gaye yahan tak ki woh guzar gaya.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When you see the new moon, then observe fast and when you see the new moon (of Shawwal), then celebrate Eid al-Fitr, and if the day is cloudy then complete the count of thirty days.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: جب تم چاند دیکھ لو تب روزہ رکھا کر و اور جب چاند دیکھ لو تب عید الفطر منایا کر و اور اگر کسی دن بادل چھائے ہوئے ہوں تو تیس دن کی گنتی پوری کیا کر و۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Jab tum chand dekh lo tab roza rakha karo aur jab chand dekh lo tab Eid-ul-Fitr manaya karo aur agar kisi din badal chhaye hue hon to tees din ki ginti puri kiya karo.
Narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) abstained from his pure wives for a month. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to live upstairs and his pure wives used to live downstairs. After 29 nights had passed, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came downstairs. Someone asked, "O Messenger of Allah! You stayed for 29 nights (while you intended for a month)." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Sometimes the month is this and this long." You pointed twice with all the fingers of your hand and the third time you closed your thumb.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ایک مہینے کے لئے اپنی ازواج مطہرات سے ترک تعلق کر لیا تھا نبی ﷺ بالاخانے میں رہتے تھے اور ازواج مطہرات نچلی منزل میں رہتی تھیں ٢٩ راتیں گزرنے کے بعد نبی ﷺ نیچے اتر آئے کسی نے پوچھا: یا رسول اللہ! آپ تو ٢٩ راتیں رکے (جبکہ آپ نے ایک ماہ کا ارادہ کیا تھا) نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: کبھی مہینہ اتنا اور اتنا بھی ہوتا ہے دو مرتبہ آپ نے ہاتھ کی ساری انگلیوں سے اشارہ کیا اور تیسری مرتبہ انگوٹھے کو بند کر دیا۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ek mahine ke liye apni azwaj mutahirat se tark taluq kar liya tha Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) balakhane mein rahte the aur azwaj mutahirat nichli manzil mein rahti thin 29 raaten guzarne ke bad Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) niche utar aaye kisi ne pucha Ya Rasulullah aap to 29 raaten ruke jabke aap ne ek mah ka irada kiya tha Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya kabhi mahina itna aur itna bhi hota hai do martaba aap ne hath ki sari ungliyon se ishara kiya aur teesri martaba ungoothe ko band kar diya.
Narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once we were with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) in a battle during the month of Ramadan. A companion kept a fast due to which he became extremely weak and was close to dying of thirst. His camel started grazing in the bushes. When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) found out, he said, "Bring him to me." He then ordered him to break his fast and said, "Is it not enough for you that you are on the path of Allah with the Messenger of Allah and still you are fasting? So, he broke his fast."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ ہم لوگ نبی ﷺ کے ہمراہ کسی غزوہ میں تھے رمضان کا مہینہ تھا ایک صحابی نے روزہ رکھ لیا جس پر وہ انتہائی کمزور ہو گئے تھے اور قریب تھا کہ پیاس ان کی جان لے لیتی اور ان کی اونٹنی جھاڑیوں میں گھسنے لگی نبی ﷺ کو یہ معلوم ہوا تو فرمایا: اسے میرے پاس بلا کر لاؤ اور روزہ توڑنے کا حکم دیا اور فرمایا کہ کیا تمہارے لئے اتناہی کافی نہیں ہے کہ تم اللہ کے راستے میں نکلے ہوئے ہو رسول اللہ کے ساتھ کہ پھر بھی روزہ رکھتے ہو چنانچہ انہوں نے روزہ توڑ دیا۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek martaba hum log Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke humrah kisi ghazwa mein the. Ramzan ka mahina tha ek sahabi ne roza rakh liya jis par wo intahai kamzor ho gaye the aur qareeb tha ki pyas un ki jaan le leti aur un ki untni jhadiyon mein ghusne lagi. Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye maloom hua to farmaya: Ise mere paas bula kar lao aur roza todne ka hukum diya aur farmaya ki kya tumhare liye itna hi kaafi nahin hai ki tum Allah ke raste mein nikle huye ho Rasul Allah ke sath ki phir bhi roza rakhte ho chunancha unhon ne roza tod diya.
It was narrated from Sayyidina Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The best charity is that which is given from what one has earned, and the best of your charity is that which you give to those under your care. And the upper hand is better than the lower hand.”

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا کہ سب سے افضل صدقہ وہ ہوتا ہے جو کچھ مالداری رکھ کر ہواور صدقات میں آغاز ان لوگوں سے کیا کر و جو تمہاری ذمے داری میں ہوں اور اوپر والا ہاتھ نیچے والے ہاتھ سے بہتر ہوتا ہے۔
Syedna Jaber Radi Allaho Anhu se marvi hai ke Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne irshad farmaya ke sab se afzal sadqa woh hota hai jo kuch maldari rakh kar ho aur sadqat mein aaghaz un logon se kya kar jo tumhari zimmedari mein hon aur upar wala hath neeche wale hath se behtar hota hai.
Narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say three days before his death: "Whoever among you death approaches, let him die in a state that he has good expectations from Allah."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو وصال سے تین دن پہلے یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا کہ تم میں سے جس شخص کو بھی موت آئے وہ اس حال میں ہو کہ اللہ کے ساتھ حسن ظن رکھتا ہو۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko wisal se teen din pehle ye farmate huye suna ki tum mein se jis shakhs ko bhi maut aaye woh iss haal mein ho ki Allah ke saath husn-e-zann rakhta ho.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to offer voluntary prayers while riding, facing the east. However, when he intended to offer the obligatory prayer, he would dismount and pray facing the Qibla.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نوافل اپنی سواری پر ہی مشرق کی جانب رخ کر کے بھی پڑھ لیتے تھے لیکن جب فرض پڑھنے کا ارادہ فرماتے تو سواری سے اتر کر قبلہ رخ ہو کر نماز پڑھتے تھے۔

Talq bin Habib said, "I was among the most extreme in denying intercession until one day I met Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him). I recited to him all the verses in which Allah Almighty has mentioned the eternal stay of the people of Hell in Hell." Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "O Talq, do you think that you recite the Quran more than me? There are those who recite the Quran more than me, and do you know the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) more than me?" He said, "All the verses that you have recited are related to the polytheists, but those who have committed sins will be taken out of Hell after punishment. These two ears would have become deaf if I had not heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying that they would be taken out of Hell, even though we used to recite the verses that you recite."

طلق بن حبیب کہتے ہیں کہ میں پہلے شفاعت کی تکذیب کرنے والے لوگوں میں سب سے زیادہ شدت پسند تھا حتی کہ ایک دن میری ملاقات سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے ہو گئی میں نے ان کے سامنے وہ تمام آیات پڑھ دیں جن میں اللہ تعالیٰ نے جہنمیوں کا جہنم میں ہمیشہ رہنا ذکر کیا ہے سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ فرمانے لگے کہ اے طلق تمہارا کیا خیال ہے کہ تم مجھ سے زیادہ قرآن پڑھتے ہو؟ مجھ سے زیادہ قرآن پڑھنے والے ہیں اور آپ ہی مجھ سے زیادہ نبی ﷺ کی سنت کو جانتے ہیں انہوں نے فرمایا کہ تم نے جتنی بھی آیات پڑھی ہیں ان سب کا تعلق مشرکین سے ہے البتہ وہ لوگ جن سے گناہ سرزد ہوئے ہوں انہیں سزا کے بعد جہنم سے نکال لیا جائے گا یہ دونوں کان بہرے ہو جائیں گے اگر میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے نہ سناہو کہ انہیں جہنم سے نکال لیا جائے گا حالانکہ جو آیات تم پڑھتے ہو ہم بھی وہ پڑھتے تھے۔
Talaq bin Habib kehte hain ke main pehle shafaat ki takzeeb karne wale logon mein sab se zyada shiddat pasand tha hatta ke ek din meri mulaqat Sayyiduna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se ho gayi maine un ke samne wo tamam ayat padh din jin mein Allah Ta'ala ne jahanmiyon ka jahannam mein hamesha rehna zikr kya hai Sayyiduna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) farmane lage ke aye Talaq tumhara kya khayal hai ke tum mujh se zyada Quran padhte ho mujh se zyada Quran padhne wale hain aur aap hi mujh se zyada Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki sunnat ko jante hain unhon ne farmaya ke tum ne jitni bhi ayat padhi hain un sab ka taluq mushrikeen se hai albatta wo log jin se gunah sarzad hue hon unhen saza ke baad jahannam se nikal liya jayega ye donon kaan behre ho jayenge agar maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate hue na suna ho ke unhen jahannam se nikal liya jayega halanke jo ayat tum padhte ho hum bhi wo padhte the.
Narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him): Once, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked Sayyiduna Siddiq Akbar (may Allah be pleased with him) when he offered the Witr prayer. He replied: "In the first part of the night, after the Isha prayer." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked the same question to Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), who replied: "In the last part of the night." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) gave preference to the aspect of certainty, and Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) gave preference to the aspect of strength."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے سیدنا صدیق اکبر سے پوچھا کہ آپ نماز وتر کب پڑھتے ہیں انہوں نے عرض کیا: کہ نماز عشاء کے بعد رات کے پہلے پہر میں یہی سوال نبی ﷺ نے سیدنا عمر سے پوچھا: تو انہوں نے عرض کیا: کہ رات کے آخری پہر میں نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ابوبکر تم نے اس پہلو کو ترجیح دی جس میں اعتماد ہے اور عمر تم نے اس پہلو کو ترجیح دی جس میں قوت ہے۔
Sayyeda Jaber Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai ke aik martaba Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne Sayyeda Siddique Akbar se poocha ke aap Namaz Witr kab parhte hain unhon ne arz kya: ke Namaz Isha ke bad raat ke pehle pahar mein yahi sawal Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne Sayyeda Umar se poocha: to unhon ne arz kya: ke raat ke aakhri pahar mein Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya: Abubakar tum ne is pehlu ko tarjeeh di jis mein aitmaad hai aur Umar tum ne is pehlu ko tarjeeh di jis mein quwat hai.
Narrated by Jabir (RA): A man died and we gave him a bath, applied perfume, shrouded him, and took him to the Prophet (PBUH) for the funeral prayer. After walking a few steps, the Prophet (PBUH) asked, "Does he have any debt?" The people said, "He has a debt of two Dinars." The Prophet (PBUH) turned back. Abu Qatadah (RA) took the responsibility upon himself. We went to the Prophet (PBUH) and Abu Qatadah (RA) said, "O Messenger of Allah! His debt is upon me." The Prophet (PBUH) said, "The right of the creditor has come upon you and the deceased is free from it." They said, "Yes." Upon this, the Prophet (PBUH) offered his funeral prayer. Then, after a day passed, the Prophet (PBUH) asked them, "What did you do about the two Dinars?" They said, "He died only yesterday." Anyway, the next day when they came to the Prophet (PBUH), they said, "I have paid his debt." The Prophet (PBUH) said, "Now his body is cool (at peace)."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک آدمی فوت ہو گیا ہم نے اسے غسل دیا حنوط لگائی کفن پہنایا اور نماز جنازہ کے لئے نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں لے کر حاضر ہوئے چندقدم چل کر نبی ﷺ نے پوچھا کہ اس پر کوئی قرض ہے لوگوں نے بتایا کہ دو دینار قرض ہے نبی ﷺ واپس چلے گئے سیدنا ابوقتادہ نے ان کی ذمہ داری اپنے اوپر لے لی ہم نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے سیدنا ابوقتادہ نے عرض کیا: کہ یا رسول اللہ! اس کا قرض میرے ذمے ہے نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ مقروض کا حق تم پر آگیا اور مرنے والا اس سے بری ہو گیا انہوں نے عرض کیا: جی ہاں اس پر نبی ﷺ نے ان کی نماز جنازہ پڑھائی پھر ایک دن گزرنے کے بعد نبی ﷺ نے ان سے پوچھا کہ ان دو دیناروں کا کیا بنا انہوں نے عرض کیا: کہ وہ کل ہی تو مرا ہے بہر حال اگلے دن جب وہ نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے تو عرض کیا: کہ میں نے اس کا قرض ادا کر دیا ہے نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: اب اس کا جسم ٹھنڈا ہوا ہے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek aadmi foot ho gaya humne use ghusl diya hanut lagai kafan pehnaya aur namaz janaza ke liye Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein lekar hazir huye chand qadam chal kar Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne pucha ki is par koi qarz hai logon ne bataya ki do dinar qarz hai Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) wapas chale gaye Sayyidna Abu Qatadah ne unki zimmedari apne upar le li hum Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir huye Sayyidna Abu Qatadah ne arz kiya: ki Ya Rasul Allah! iska qarz mere zimme hai Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki maqrooz ka haq tum par aagya aur marne wala is se bari ho gaya unhon ne arz kiya: ji haan is par Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unki namaz janaza parhayi phir ek din guzarne ke baad Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unse pucha ki in do dinaron ka kya bana unhon ne arz kiya: ki woh kal hi to mara hai behar haal agle din jab woh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir huye to arz kiya: ki maine iska qarz ada kar diya hai Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: ab iska jism thanda hua hai.
It is narrated by Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw a woman whom he found attractive. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) immediately went to his wife, Zainab (may Allah be pleased with her), who was dyeing a piece of leather at that time, and fulfilled his marital needs with her. He then said: "A woman comes in the form of Satan. Whoever sees a woman and finds her attractive should go to his wife, for this will dispel the thoughts that arise in his heart."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے کسی عورت کو دیکھا جو آپ کو اچھی لگی نبی ﷺ اسی وقت اپنی زوجہ محترمہ سیدنا زینب کے پاس آئے وہ اس وقت ایک کھال کو رنگ دے رہی تھیں اور ان سے اپنے جسمانی تقاضے پورے کئے اور فرمایا: عورت شیطان کی صورت میں آجاتی ہے جو شخص کسی عورت کو دیکھے اور وہ اسے اچھی لگے تو اسے چاہئے کہ اپنی بیوی کے پاس آ جائے کیونکہ اس طرح جو اس کے دل میں خیالات ہو نگے وہ دور ہو جائیں گے۔

It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once Sayyiduna Jibril (Gabriel) came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said: "Offer prayer standing." So he (the Prophet) prayed Zuhr after the decline of the sun. Then he (Gabriel) came again at the time of 'Asr and said: "Offer prayer standing," so he (the Prophet) prayed 'Asr. Then he (Gabriel) came at the time of Maghrib and said: "Offer prayer standing," so he (the Prophet) prayed Maghrib after the redness of the sunset had faded. Then he came again at the time of Fajr and said: "Offer prayer standing," so he (the Prophet) prayed Fajr at the break of dawn. Then the next day, he (Gabriel) came again at the time of Zuhr and said: "Offer prayer standing," so he (the Prophet) prayed Zuhr when the shadow of everything was equal to its length. Then he (Gabriel) came at the time of 'Asr and said: "Offer prayer standing," so he (the Prophet) prayed 'Asr when the shadow of everything was twice its length. Then he (Gabriel) came at the time of Maghrib, it was the same time as the previous day, he did not deviate from it. Then he (Gabriel) came for 'Isha' when half or two-thirds of the night had passed, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayed 'Isha' at that time. Then he (Gabriel) came for Fajr when the light had spread well and said: "Offer prayer standing," so the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayed. After that, Sayyiduna Jibril said: "The time for prayers is actually between these two."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ کے پاس سیدنا جبرائیل آئے اور عرض کیا: کہ کھڑے ہو کر نماز ادا کیجیے چنانچہ آپ نے زوال کے بعد نماز ظہرا دا کی پھر دوبارہ عصر کے وقت آئے اور عرض کیا: کہ کھڑے ہو کر نماز ادا کیجیے چنانچہ آپ نے نماز عصر ادا کی پھر وہ نماز مغرب کے وقت آئے اور عرض کیا: کہ کھڑے ہو کر نماز ادا کیجیے چنانچہ آپ نے غروب شفق کے بعد نماز عشاء ادا فرمائی پھر دوبارہ نماز فجر کے وقت آئے اور عرض کیا: کہ کھڑے ہو کر نماز ادا کیجیے چنانچہ آپ نے طلوع فجر کے وقت نماز فجر ادا کی پھر اگلے دن دوبارہ ظہر کی نماز کے وقت آئے اوعرض کیا: کہ کھڑے ہو کر نماز ادا کر یں چنانچہ آپ نے ہر چیز کا سایہ ایک مثل ہو نے پر نماز ظہرادا فرمائی پھر وہ نماز عصر کے وقت آئے اور عرض کیا: کہ کھڑے ہو کر نماز ادا کر یں چنانچہ آپ نے ہر چیز کا سایہ دو مثل ہو نے پر نماز عصر ادا فرمائی پھر وہ نماز مغرب کے وقت آئے اس کا وہی وقت تھا وہ اس سے ہٹے نہیں پھر نماز عشاء کے لئے اس وقت آئے جب نصف یا تہائی رات بیت چکی تھی نبی ﷺ نے اس وقت نماز عشاء ادا فرمائی پھر نماز فجر کے لئے اس وقت آئے جب روشنی خوب پھیل چکی تھی اور عرض کیا: کہ کھڑے ہو کر نماز پڑھیے چنانچہ نبی ﷺ نے نماز پڑھی اس کے بعد سیدنا جبرائیل کہنے لگے کہ نمازوں کا وقت دراصل ان دو کے درمیان ہے۔
Sayyedna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke pass Sayyedna Jibraeel aaye aur arz kiya: ki kharay ho kar namaz ada kijiye chunancha aap ne zawal ke bad namaz zuhr ada ki phir dobara asr ke waqt aaye aur arz kiya: ki kharay ho kar namaz ada kijiye chunancha aap ne namaz asr ada ki phir woh namaz maghrib ke waqt aaye aur arz kiya: ki kharay ho kar namaz ada kijiye chunancha aap ne ghuroob shafaq ke bad namaz isha ada farmaai phir dobara namaz fajr ke waqt aaye aur arz kiya: ki kharay ho kar namaz ada kijiye chunancha aap ne taloo fajr ke waqt namaz fajr ada ki phir agle din dobara zuhr ki namaz ke waqt aaye aur arz kiya: ki kharay ho kar namaz ada karen chunancha aap ne har cheez ka saya ek misl hone par namaz zuhr ada farmaai phir woh namaz asr ke waqt aaye aur arz kiya: ki kharay ho kar namaz ada karen chunancha aap ne har cheez ka saya do misl hone par namaz asr ada farmaai phir woh namaz maghrib ke waqt aaye us ka wahi waqt tha woh us se hate nahin phir namaz isha ke liye us waqt aaye jab nisf ya tihai raat beet chuki thi Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne us waqt namaz isha ada farmaai phir namaz fajr ke liye us waqt aaye jab roshni khoob phel chuki thi aur arz kiya: ki kharay ho kar namaz parhiye chunancha Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne namaz parhi us ke bad Sayyedna Jibraeel kahne lage ki namazon ka waqt darasal in do ke darmiyan hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that we used to return to our homes after offering the Friday prayer with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and would leave our camels to rest.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ہم لوگ نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ نماز جمعہ پڑھنے کے بعد اپنے گھر واپس لوٹ آتے تھے اور اپنے اونٹوں کو آرام کرنے کے لئے چھوڑ دیتے تھے۔

It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When you wash the deceased, wash them an odd number of times.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: جب تم میت کو دھونی دو تو طاق عدد میں دیا کر و۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Jab tum mayyat ko dhobi do to taaq adad mein diya karo.
Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah: We used to go back to our homes after offering the Fajr prayer with the Prophet (ﷺ) and used to take a midday nap.

It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “On whatever state a person dies, Allah will resurrect him in that very state.”

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: جو شخص جس حال میں فوت ہو گا اللہ اسے اسی حال میں اٹھائے گا۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Jo shakhs jis haal mein faut hoga Allah use usi haal mein uthaye ga.
And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "In every night there is an hour, in which no Muslim asks Allah for anything but it is granted to him, and this happens every night."

اور نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ روزانہ ہر رات میں ایک ایسی گھڑی ضرور آتی ہے جو اگر کسی بندہ مسلم کو مل جائے تو وہ اس میں اللہ سے جو بھی دعا کر ے گا وہ دعا ضرور قبول ہو گی اور ایسا ہر رات میں ہوتا ہے۔

It was narrated from Jabir bin ‘Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “The people will follow Quraysh in good and in evil.”

It was narrated from Jabir ibn Abdullah that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade that a man should wrap himself in a single garment and sit in such a way that nothing covers his private parts.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے اس بات سے منع فرمایا ہے کہ کوئی ایک کپڑے میں اپناجسم نہ لپیٹے اور نہ ہی گوٹ مار کر بیٹھے کہ اس کی شرمگاہ پر کچھ بھی نہ ہو۔

It is narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When the deceased sees how spacious his grave has been made, he says to the angels, "Leave me so I can go and give my family the good news," but he is told, "Stay here and find peace."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: جب مردہ یہ دیکھتا ہے کہ اس کی قبر کتنی کشادہ کر دی گئی ہے تو وہ فرشتوں سے کہتا ہے کہ مجھے چھوڑ دو تاکہ میں اپنے گھر والوں کو خوشخبری سنا کر آؤں لیکن اس سے کہا جاتا ہے کہ تم یہیں ٹھہر کر سکون حاصل کر و۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Jab murda yeh dekhta hai ki uski qabar kitni kushada kar di gai hai to woh farishton se kehta hai ki mujhe chhor do takih main apne ghar walon ko khushkhabri suna kar aaun lekin us se kaha jata hai ki tum yaheen thehar kar sukoon hasil kar lo.
Muhammad says that I asked Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him): When did the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) offer the Friday prayer? He said: We used to return home after offering the Friday prayer with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and leave our camels to rest.

محمد کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے پوچھا: نبی ﷺ جمعہ کی نماز کب پڑھتے تھے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا کہ کہ ہم لوگ نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ نماز جمعہ پڑھنے کے بعد اپنے گھر واپس لوٹ آتے تھے اور اپنے اونٹوں کو آرام کرنے کے لئے چھوڑ دیتے تھے۔
Muhammad kehty hain keh main ne Syedna Jabir razi Allah anhu se poocha: Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Juma ki namaz kab parhty thy? Unhon ne farmaya keh keh hum log Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath namaz Juma parhne ke bad apne ghar wapas laut aaty thy aur apne oonton ko aaram karne ke liye chhor dety thy.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the number of camels that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) brought for sacrifice was one hundred. Out of these, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) slaughtered 63 camels with his blessed hands and the rest were slaughtered by Sayyiduna Ali. And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered that a small amount of meat from each camel should be put in the pot, then both of them drank its broth.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ قربانی کے لئے جن اونٹوں کو لے کر گئے تھے ان کی تعداد سو تھی جن میں سے ٦٣ اونٹ نبی ﷺ نے اپنے دست مبارک سے ذبح کئے تھے اور بقیہ اونٹ سیدنا علی نے ذبح کئے تھے اور نبی ﷺ نے حکم دیا کہ ہر اونٹ کا تھوڑا تھوڑا گوشت لے کر ہنڈیا میں ڈالا جائے پھر دونوں حضرات نے اس کا شوربہ نوش فرمایا:۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) qurbani ke liye jin oonton ko lekar gaye thay un ki tadaad 100 thi jin mein se 63 oont Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne apne dast mubarak se zabah kiye thay aur baqiya oont Sayyidna Ali ne zabah kiye thay aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne hukm diya ki har oont ka thora thora gosht lekar handi mein dala jaye phir donon hazrat ne is ka shorba nosh farmaya.
Narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him), once we were with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) at the house of an Ansar woman for a meal. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "A man from Paradise will come to you now." After a while, Sayyiduna Siddiq Akbar (may Allah be pleased with him) arrived, and we congratulated him. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Another man from Paradise will come to you now." After a short while, Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) arrived, and we congratulated him as well. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) then said, "Another man from Paradise will come to you now." This time, I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) peeking from under the trees and plants, saying, "O Allah, if You willed, the one coming would be Ali." And indeed, Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) arrived, and we congratulated him too.
سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ ہم لوگ نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ ایک انصاری خاتون کے یہاں کھانے کی دعوت میں شریک تھے نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ابھی تمہارے پاس ایک جنتی آدمی آئے گا تھوڑی دیر بعد سیدنا صدیق اکبر تشریف لائے ہم نے انہیں مبارک باد دی نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ابھی تمہارے پاس ایک اور جنتی آدمی آئے گا تھوڑ دیر بعد سیدنا عمر تشریف لائے ہم نے انہیں بھی مبارک باد دی نبی ﷺ نے پھر فرمایا کہ ابھی تمہارے پاس ایک اور جنتی آدمی آئے گا اس وقت میں نے دیکھا کہ کہ نبی ﷺ درختوں کے پودوں کے نیچے سے سر نکال کر دیکھنے لگے کہ اور فرمانے لگے کہ اے اللہ اگر تو چاہتا تو آنے والا علی ہوتا چنانچہ سیدنا علی ہی آئے اور ہم نے انہیں بھی مبارک باد دی۔

Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne phir farmaya ki abhi tumhare pass ek aur jannati aadmi aayega. Iss waqt mein ne dekha ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) darakhton ke paudon ke neeche se sar nikaal kar dekhne lage ki aur farmane lage ki aye Allah agar tu chahta to aane wala Ali hota. Chunancha Sayyidna Ali hi aaye aur humne unhen bhi mubarakbaad di.
It was narrated from Jabir bin ‘Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The best of the men’s rows is the first and the worst is the last, and the worst of the women’s rows is the first and the best is the last.”

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: مردوں کی صفوں میں سے بہترین صف پہلی ہو تی ہے اور سب سے کم ترین آخری صف ہو تی ہے جب کہ خواتین کی صفوں میں سے سب سے کم ترین صف پہلی ہو تی ہے اور سب سے بہترین صف آخری ہو تی ہے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: mardon ki saffon mein se behtarin saf pehli hoti hai aur sab se kam tareen aakhri saf hoti hai jab keh khawateen ki saffon mein se sab se kam tareen saf pehli hoti hai aur sab se behtarin saf aakhri hoti hai.
Narrated by Jabir ibn Abdullah: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When the morsel of food of one of you falls down, he should remove the dirt on it and eat it, and should not leave it for Satan. And he should not wipe his hand with a cloth until he has licked his fingers, for he does not know in what portion of his food the blessing lies.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: جب تم میں سے کسی کا لقمہ گر جائے تو اسے چاہیے کہ اس پر لگنے والی تکلیف دہ چیز کو ہٹا کر اسے کھالے اور اسے شیطان کے لئے نہ چھوڑے اور اپنا ہاتھ تو لیے سے نہ پونچھے اور انگلیاں چاٹ لے کیونکہ اسے معلوم نہیں ہے کہ اس کے کھانے کے کس حصے میں برکت ہے۔
Saina Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Jab tum mein se kisi ka luqma gir jaye to usay chahiye ki us par lagne wali takleef deh cheez ko hata kar usay kha le aur usay shaitan ke liye na chhode aur apna hath tooliye se na ponchhe aur ungliyan chat le kyunki usay maloom nahi hai ki us ke khane ke kis hisse mein barkat hai.
Narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would set out for a journey, he would do so calmly. However, at the valley of Muhassir, he hastened his riding animal's pace upon seeing pebbles resembling dice. Then, he instructed to proceed with composure and dignity, saying, "My Ummah should learn the rituals of Hajj, for it is possible that I may not be with them next year."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ روانہ ہوتے تو سکون کے ساتھ ہوتے لیکن وادی محسر میں اپنی سواری کی رفتار تیز کر دی اور انہوں نے ٹھیکر ی جیسی کنکر یاں دیکھیں اور سکون وقار سے چلنے کا حکم دیا اور فرمایا: میری امت کو مناسک حج سیکھ لینے چاہیے کیونکہ ہو سکتا ہے میں آئندہ سال ان سے نہ مل سکوں۔
Syedna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) rawaana hote to sukoon ke sath hote lekin wadi muhassir mein apni sawari ki raftar tez kar di aur unhon ne thaiker jaisi kankarian dekhin aur sukoon o qarar se chalne ka hukum diya aur farmaya: meri ummat ko manasik Hajj seekh lene chahie kyunki ho sakta hai main aindah saal in se na mil sakun.
Narrated Jabir (RA): The Prophet (ﷺ) said: The Queen of Sheba would spread her throne over water and then send her army; the most beloved to her of them being the one who could cause the greatest discord (evil).

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: بلقیس پانی پر اپنا تخت بچھاتا ہے پھر اپنے لشکر روانہ کرتا ہے ان میں سب سے زیادہ قرب شیطانی وہ پاتا ہے جو سب سے بڑا فتنہ ہو۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Bilqees pani par apna takht bichhata hai phir apne lashkar rawana karta hai in mein sab se zyada qurb shaitani wo pata hai jo sab se bada fitna ho.
Narrated Jabir bin Abdullah: The Prophet (ﷺ) sent me on an errand while we were on our way to Banu Mustaliq. I returned and found the Prophet (ﷺ) offering prayer on his camel facing eastwards. When I wanted to speak to him, he signaled with his hand. This happened twice. I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) reciting and he beckoned with his head. When he finished the prayer, he said, "What prevented you from speaking while I sent you on an errand?" I replied, "I was offering prayer."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے بنومصطلق کی طرف جاتے ہوئے مجھے کسی کام سے بھیج دیا میں واپس آیا تو نبی ﷺ اپنے اونٹ پر مشرق کی جانب منہ کر کے نماز پڑھ رہے تھے میں نے بات کرنا چاہی تو نبی ﷺ نے ہاتھ سے اشارہ فرما دیا اور دو مرتبہ اس طرح ہوا پھر میں نے نبی ﷺ کو قرأت کرتے ہوئے سنا اور نبی ﷺ اپنے سر سے اشارہ فرما رہے تھے نماز سے فراغت کے بعد نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: جس کام کے لئے تمہیں بھیجا تھا اس کا کیا بنا۔ میں نے جواب اس لئے نہیں دیا تھا کہ میں نماز پڑھ رہا تھا۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Banu Musalliq ki taraf jate huye mujhe kisi kaam se bhej diya mein wapas aaya to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) apne unt par mashriq ki jaanib munh kar ke namaz parh rahe the mein ne baat karna chaha to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne hath se ishara farma diya aur do martaba is tarah hua phir mein ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko qirat karte huye suna aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) apne sar se ishara farma rahe the namaz se faraghat ke baad Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Jis kaam ke liye tumhen bheja tha us ka kya bana. Mein ne jawab is liye nahin diya tha ki mein namaz parh raha tha.
It is narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would come out, the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) would walk in front of him, leaving his blessed back for the angels.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ جب نبی ﷺ باہر تشریف لاتے تو صحابہ کرام آپ کے آگے چلا کرتے تھے اور آپ کی پشت مبارک کو فرشتوں کے لئے چھوڑ دیتے تھے۔

It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: The inhabitants of Madinah will abandon it at a time when Madinah will be like a well situated between two abandoned wells. The Companions asked: O Messenger of Allah! Then who will inhabit it? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied: Wild beasts and vultures.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: مدینہ منورہ کو ایک وقت میں یہاں کے رہنے والے چھوڑ دیں گے حالانکہ اس وقت مدینہ منورہ کی مثال کھاری کنوؤں کے درمیان بیٹھے کنویں کی سی ہو گی صحابہ نے پوچھا: یا رسول اللہ! پھر اسے کون کھائے گا نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: درندے اور گدھ۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Madina Munawwara ko ek waqt mein yahan ke rehne wale chhod denge halanki us waqt Madina Munawwara ki misal khari kunwon ke darmiyan baithe kunwen ki si ho gi. Sahaba ne puchha: Ya Rasul Allah! Phir ise kaun khaye ga? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: Darinde aur gidh.
Narrated Jabir bin Abdullah: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Faith is (a quality attributed to the people of) Hijaz and harshness of hearts and deprivation of religious blessings are the qualities of the rude shepherds of camels who live in the east.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ایمان اہل حجاز میں ہے اور دلوں کی سختی اور ظلم وجفا مشرقی چرواہوں میں ہوتا ہے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Imaan ahl Hijaz mein hai aur dilon ki sakhti aur zulm o jafa mashriqi charwahon mein hota hai.
It was narrated from Jabir bin Abdullah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Whoever misses three Jumu’ahs (Friday prayers) out of negligence, Allah will place a seal over his heart.”

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: جو شخص بغیر کسی عذر کے تین مرتبہ جمعہ چھوڑ دے اللہ اس کے دل پر مہر لگا دیتا ہے۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Jo shakhs baghair kisi uzr ke teen martaba juma chhor de Allah uske dil par mohar laga deta hai.
It was narrated from Jabir bin ‘Abdullah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “I have been commanded to fight against people until they testify that there is none worthy of worship but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and until they establish prayer and pay the Zakat. If they do that, then their blood and wealth are inviolable, except by right of Islam, and their reckoning will be with Allah.”

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: مجھے حکم دیا گیا ہے میں لوگوں سے اس وقت تک قتال کرتا رہوں جب تک وہ لا الہ الا اللہ نہ پڑھ لیں جب وہ یہ کام کر لیں تو انہوں نے اپنی جان ومال کو مجھ سے محفوظ کر لیاسوائے اس کلمہ حق کے اور ان کا حساب اللہ کے ذمے ہو گا۔
Saina Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: mujhe hukm diya gaya hai main logon se us waqt tak qital karta rahun jab tak woh la ilaha illallah na parh len jab woh ye kaam kar len to unhon ne apni jaan o maal ko mujh se mahfooz kar liya siwaye is kalma haq ke aur un ka hisab Allah ke zimme ho ga.
Narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was distributing the spoils of the Battle of Hunayn. During this, a man stood up and said, "Be just." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "It would be a great misfortune if I were not to be just."

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے غزوہ حنین کا مال تقسیم کر رہے تھے اس دوران ایک آدمی کھڑا ہوا اور کہنے لگا کہ انصاف سے کام لیجیے نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: اگر میں عدل نہ کر وں گا تو یہ بڑی بدنصیبی کی بات ہو گی۔
