It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: On the Day of Judgment, you will be held accountable for everything, even to the extent that you will be asked, "When you saw an evil deed being committed, why didn't you stop it?" Then, whoever Allah grants an argument will say, "O Lord! I hoped for Your forgiveness, but I was afraid of the people."

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا قیامت کے دن تم سے ہر چیز کا حساب ہوگا، حتیٰ کہ یہ سوال بھی پوچھا جائے گا کہ جب تم نے کوئی گناہ کا کام ہوتے ہوئے دیکھا تھا تو اس سے رکا کیوں نہیں تھا؟ پھر جسے اللہ دلیل سمجھا دے گا وہ کہہ دے گا کہ پروردگار! مجھے آپ سے معافی کی امید تھی لیکن لوگوں سے خوف تھا۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri RA se marvi hai keh Nabi SAW ne farmaya qayamat ke din tum se har cheez ka hisab hoga, hatta keh yeh sawal bhi poocha jayega keh jab tum ne koi gunah ka kaam hote huye dekha tha to us se ruka kyun nahi tha? Phir jise Allah daleel samjha dega woh keh dega keh Parwardigaar! Mujhe aap se maafi ki umeed thi lekin logon se khauf tha.
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There was a man in the past times whom Allah had blessed abundantly with wealth and children. When his death approached, he called his sons to him and asked them, 'What kind of father have I been to you?' They replied, 'The best of fathers.' He said, 'But your father never performed any act of virtue. So, when I die, burn me in the fire, grind my ashes, and scatter them in the sea on a stormy day.' He took a promise from them to do so, and they promised. After his death, they acted upon their promise. Allah said, 'Kun (Be),' and he stood alive. Allah asked him, 'What prompted you to do such a thing?' He replied, 'Out of fear of You.' By the One in whose control is the life of Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), Allah forgave him because of his fear."

حضرت ابوسعید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا پہلے زمانے میں ایک آدمی تھا، جسے اللہ نے مال و اولاد سے خوب نواز رکھا تھا، جب اس کی موت کا وقت قریب آیا تو اس نے اپنے بیٹوں کو بلایا اور ان سے پوچھا کہ میں تمہارا کیسا باپ ثابت ہوا؟ انہوں نے کہا بہترین باپ، اس نے کہا لیکن تمہارے باپ نے کبھی کوئی نیکی کا کام نہیں کیا، اس لئے جب میں مرجاؤں تو مجھے آگ میں جلا کر میری راکھ کو پیس لینا اور تیز آندھی والے دن سمندر میں بہا دینا اس نے ان سے اس پر وعدہ لیا، انہوں نے وعدہ کرلیا اور اس کے مرنے کے بعد وعدے پر عمل کیا، اللہ نے " کن " فرمایا تو وہ جیتا جاگتا کھڑا ہوگیا، اللہ نے اس سے پوچھا کہ تو نے یہ حرکت کیوں کی؟ اس نے جواب دیا کہ آپ کے خوف کی وجہ سے، اس ذات کی قسم جس کے دست قدرت میں محمد ﷺ کی جان ہے، اللہ نے اسے یہ بدلہ دیا کہ اس کی مغفرت فرما دی۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya pehle zamane mein ek aadmi tha, jise Allah ne maal o aulad se khoob nawaza rakha tha, jab uski maut ka waqt qareeb aaya to usne apne beton ko bulaya aur unse poocha ki mein tumhara kaisa baap sabit hua? Unhon ne kaha behtarin baap, usne kaha lekin tumhare baap ne kabhi koi neki ka kaam nahi kiya, isliye jab mein marjaun to mujhe aag mein jala kar meri raakh ko pees lena aur tez aandhi wale din samandar mein baha dena usne unse is par waada liya, unhon ne waada karliya aur uske marne ke baad wade par amal kiya, Allah ne "Kun" farmaya to woh jeeta jagta khara hogaya, Allah ne usse poocha ki tune yeh harkat kyon ki? Usne jawab diya ki aapke khauf ki wajah se, is zaat ki qasam jis ke dast e qudrat mein Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki jaan hai, Allah ne use ye badla diya ki uski magfirat farma di.
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Saeed (May Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade making and using Nabidh in an earthenware jar.

حضرت ابوسعید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے مٹکے میں نبیذ بنانے اور استعمال کرنے سے منع فرمایا ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne matke mein nabiz banane aur istemal karne se mana farmaya hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Sa'id (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "No ride should be prepared specifically to travel to any mosque except three: Masjid al-Haram, Masjid al-Nabawi and Masjid al-Aqsa."

حضرت ابوسعید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ سے سنا ہے کہ سوائے تین مسجدوں کے یعنی مسجد حرام، مسجد نبوی اور مسجد اقصیٰ کے خصوصیت کے ساتھ کسی اور مسجد کا سفر کرنے کے لئے سواری تیار نہ کی جائے۔
Hazrat Abusaeed razi Allah anhu se marvi hai keh maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se suna hai keh siwae teen masjidon ke yani Masjid Haram, Masjid Nabvi aur Masjid Aqsa ke khususiyat ke sath kisi aur masjid ka safar karne ke liye sawari taiyar na ki jaye.
It is narrated by Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The person who will have the lightest punishment in Hell will be the one who will have two sandals of fire on his feet, and because of them his brain will be boiling like a cauldron. Some people, along with other punishments, will be immersed in fire up to their ankles. Some people, along with other punishments, will be immersed in fire up to the bridge of their noses. Some people, along with other punishments, will be immersed in fire up to their chests. And some people, along with other punishments, will be completely immersed in fire."

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا اہل جہنم میں اس شخص کو سب سے ہلکا عذاب ہوگا جس کے پاؤں میں آگ کی دو جوتیاں ہوں گی اور ان کی وجہ سے اس کا دماغ ہنڈیا کی طرح ابلتا ہوگا، بعض لوگ دوسرے عذاب کے ساتھ ساتھ ٹخنوں تک آگ میں دھنسے ہوں گے، بعض لوگ دوسرے عذاب کے ساتھ ساتھ ناک کے بانسے تک آگ میں دھنسے ہوں گے، بعض لوگ دوسرے عذاب کے ساتھ ساتھ سینے تک آگ میں دھنسے ہوں گے، بعض لوگ دوسرے عذاب کے ساتھ ساتھ پورے کے پورے آگ میں دھنسے ہوں گے۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri RA se marvi hai ki Nabi SAW ne farmaya ahl jahannam mein us shakhs ko sab se halka azab hoga jis ke paon mein aag ki do jootiyan hongi aur in ki wajah se us ka dimagh handi ki tarah ubalta hoga, baaz log dusre azab ke saath saath takhnon tak aag mein dhanse honge, baaz log dusre azab ke saath saath naak ke banse tak aag mein dhanse honge, baaz log dusre azab ke saath saath seene tak aag mein dhanse honge, baaz log dusre azab ke saath saath poore ke poore aag mein dhanse honge.
Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Once, Paradise and Hell had a debate. Paradise said, "O Lord! What is my fault that only the poor and the lowly will enter me?" And Hell said, "What is my fault that only the tyrants and the arrogant will enter me?" Allah said to Hell, "You are My punishment, I will punish whomever I will through you." And to Paradise He said, "You are My mercy, I will have mercy on whomever I will through you. And I will fill both of you." So, as long as people are put into Hell, it will keep asking, "Is there any more?" until Allah, the Exalted, will place His Foot of Power over it. At that time, Hell will be filled, its parts will come together and it will say, "Enough, enough, enough!" And as for Paradise, Allah will continue to create new creations for it according to His will.

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا ایک مرتبہ جنت اور جہنم میں باہمی مباحثہ ہوا، جنت کہنے لگی کہ پروردگار! میرا کیا قصور ہے کہ مجھ میں صرف فقراء اور کم تر حیثیت کے لوگ داخل ہوں گے؟ اور جہنم کہنے لگی کہ میرا کیا قصور ہے کہ مجھ میں صرف جابر اور متکبر لوگ داخل ہوں گے؟ اللہ نے جہنم سے فرمایا کہ تو میرا عذاب ہے، میں جسے چاہوں گا تیرے ذریعے سے اسے سزا دوں گا اور جنت سے فرمایا کہ تو میری رحمت ہے، میں جس پر چاہوں گا تیرے ذریعہ سے رحم کروں گا اور تم دونوں میں سے ہر ایک کو بھر دوں گا۔ چنانچہ جہنم کے اندر جتنے لوگوں کو ڈالا جاتا رہے گا، جہنم یہی کہتی رہے گی کہ کچھ اور بھی ہے؟ یہاں تک کہ اللہ تعالیٰ اپنی قدرت کے پاؤں کو اس میں رکھ دیں گے، اس وقت جہنم بھر جائے گی اور اس کے اجزاء سمٹ کر ایک دوسرے سے مل جائیں گے اور وہ کہے گی بس، بس، بس اور جنت کے لئے تو اللہ تعالیٰ اپنی مشیت کے مطابق نئی مخلوق پیدا فرمائے گا۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri Razi Allaho Anho marvi hai keh Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne farmaya ek martaba jannat aur jahannum mein bahami mubahesa hua, jannat kehne lagi keh Parvardigaar! mera kya kasoor hai keh mujh mein sirf fuqra aur kam tar haisiyat ke log dakhil honge? aur jahannum kehne lagi keh mera kya kasoor hai keh mujh mein sirf jaabir aur mutakabbir log dakhil honge? Allah ne jahannum se farmaya keh tu mera azab hai, mein jise chaho ga tere zariye se usse saza dun ga aur jannat se farmaya keh tu meri rehmat hai, mein jis par chaho ga tere zariye se reham karoon ga aur tum donon mein se har ek ko bhar dun ga. Chunache jahannum ke andar jitne logon ko dala jata rahe ga, jahannum yehi kehti rahe gi keh kuch aur bhi hai? yahan tak keh Allah Ta'ala apni qudrat ke paon ko uss mein rakh denge, uss waqt jahannum bhar jaye gi aur uss ke ajza simat kar ek doosre se mil jayenge aur wo kahe gi bas, bas, bas aur jannat ke liye to Allah Ta'ala apni mashiyat ke mutabiq nayi makhlooq paida farmaye ga.
Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that once he saw in a dream that he was writing Surah Saad. When he reached the verse of prostration, he saw that the inkpot, the pen, and everything else that was there fell into prostration. Upon waking up, he narrated this dream to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). From then onwards, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) always performed the prostration of recitation in this Surah.

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ انہوں نے خواب میں دیکھا کہ وہ سورت ص لکھ رہے ہیں جب آیت سجدہ پر پہنچے تو دیکھا کہ دوات، قلم اور ہر وہ چیز جو وہاں موجود تھی، سب سجدے میں گرگئے، بیدار ہو کر انہوں نے یہ خواب نبی ﷺ سے بیان کیا تو اس کے بعد نبی ﷺ ہمیشہ اس میں سجدہ تلاوت کرنے لگے۔
Hazrat Abusaid Khudri RA se marvi hai ke ek martaba unhon ne khwab mein dekha ke woh Surah Saad likh rahe hain jab ayat Sajdah par pahunche to dekha ke dawat, qalam aur har woh cheez jo wahan mojood thi, sab Sajde mein gir gaye, bedaar ho kar unhon ne yeh khwab Nabi SAW se bayan kiya to uske baad Nabi SAW hamesha is mein Sajdah Tilawat karne lage.
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Saeed Khudri (RA) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When you hear the Adhan, repeat the same words that the Mu'adhdhin is reciting.

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا جب تم اذان سنو تو وہی جملے کہا کرو جو مؤذن کہتا ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri RA se marvi hai ki Nabi SAW ne farmaya jab tum azan suno to wohi jumle kaha karo jo muazzin kehta hai.
Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: I bought a ram to sacrifice. A wolf came by chance and ate away a part of its hip. I asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) (whether it could still be sacrificed or not). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Sacrifice it.

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نے قربانی کے لئے ایک مینڈھا خریدا، اتفاق سے ایک بھیڑیا آیا اور اس کے سرین کا حصہ نوچ کر کھا گیا، میں نے نبی ﷺ سے پوچھا (کہ اس کی قربانی ہوسکتی ہے یا نہیں؟) نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا تم اسی کی قربانی کرلو۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri raziallahu anhu se marvi hai ki ek martaba mein ne qurbani ke liye ek mendha khareeda, ittefaq se ek bheriya aaya aur uske sereen ka hissa noch kar kha gaya, mein ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se poocha (keh uski qurbani hosakti hai ya nahi?) Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya tum usi ki qurbani karlo.
Abu Sa'eed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, speaking about 'Azl (coitus interruptus)': "Will you give birth to this child? Will you provide for him? Allah has placed him in his place, so it is part of destiny, and that is destiny."

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے " عزل " کے بارے میں گفتگو کرتے ہوئے فرمایا کیا اس نومولود کو تم پیدا کرو گے؟ کیا تم اسے رزق دو گے؟ اللہ نے اسے اس کے ٹھکانے میں رکھ دیا ہے تو یہ تقدیر کا حصہ ہے اور یہی تقدیر ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri Razi Allah Anhu se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne "Azal" ke baare mein guftgu karte hue farmaya kya is nau molood ko tum paida karo ge? kya tum ise rizq do ge? Allah ne ise is ke thikane mein rakh diya hai to yeh taqdeer ka hissa hai aur yahi taqdeer hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said in the explanation of this verse, "Then when We made the inheritors of Our Book among those whom We chose from among Our servants, then some of them are wrongdoers to themselves, and some of them are moderate, and some of them are foremost in good deeds" - He said: All these are in the same rank and all will enter Paradise.

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے اس آیت کی تفسیر میں فرمایا " پھر جب ہم نے اپنی کتاب کا وارث ان لوگوں کو بنادیا، جنہیں ہم نے اپنے بندوں میں سے منتخب کیا تھا، پھر ان میں سے بعض اپنی جانوں پر ظلم کرنے والے ہیں، بعض میانہ رو اور بعض نیکیوں میں سبقت لے جانے والے ہیں " فرمایا یہ سب ایک ہی مرتبے میں ہیں اور سب جنت میں جائیں گے۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri RA se marvi hai keh Nabi SAW ne is ayat ki tafseer mein farmaya "phir jab hum ne apni kitaab ka waris un logon ko bana diya, jinhen hum ne apne bandon mein se muntakhib kiya tha, phir un mein se baaz apni jaanon par zulm karne wale hain, baaz miyana rau aur baaz nekiyon mein subqat le jane wale hain" farmaya yeh sab ek hi martabe mein hain aur sab jannat mein jayenge.
Abu Sa'eed al-Khudri reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, the people of Hellfire will remain in it, never will death come to them, nor will they experience life. But as for those whom Allah intends mercy, He will cause them to die in it, and the intercessors will intercede for them. They will be brought forth from it in groups, and they will wash in a river called the River of Life (or: the River of Modesty, or: the River of Paradise). Then they will emerge like pearls scattered from a necklace.”

حضرت ابوسعید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا وہ جہنمی اس میں ہمیشہ رہیں گے، ان پر تو موت آئے گی اور نہ ہی انہیں زندگانی نصیب ہوگی، البتہ جن لوگوں پر اللہ اپنی رحمت کا ارادہ فرمائے گا، انہیں جہنم میں بھی موت دے گا، پھر سفارش کرنے والے ان کی سفارش کریں گے اور وہ گروہ در گروہ وہاں سے نکلیں گے، وہ لوگ ایک خصوصی نہر میں " جس کا نام نہر حیاء یا حیوان یا حیات یا نہر جنت ہوگا " غسل کریں گے اور ایسے اگ آئیں گے جیسے سیلاب کے بہاؤ میں دانہ اگ آتا ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya woh jahannami usmein hamesha rahenge, un per tou maut aayegi aur na hi unhen zindagani naseeb hogi, albatta jin logon per Allah apni rehmat ka irada farmayega, unhen jahannum mein bhi maut dega, phir sifarish karne wale unki sifarish karenge aur woh giroh dar giroh wahan se niklenge, woh log ek khasusi nahar mein " jiska naam nahar haya ya haiwan ya hayat ya nahar jannat hoga " gusl karenge aur aise ug aayenge jaise sailab ke bahao mein dana ug aata hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: There is no Zakat on less than five camels, there is no Zakat on less than five Wasq of wheat, and there is no Zakat on less than five Uqiyah of silver.

حضرت ابوسعید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا پانچ اونٹوں سے کم میں زکوٰۃ نہیں ہے، پانچ وسق سے کم گندم میں بھی زکوٰۃ نہیں ہے اور پانچ اوقیہ سے کم چاندی میں زکوٰۃ نہیں ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya panch oonton se kam mein zakat nahi hai, panch wasaq se kam gandum mein bhi zakat nahi hai aur panch auqiya se kam chandi mein zakat nahi hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was more modest than a virgin in her veil, and when something displeased him, we used to recognize it from his face.

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کسی کنواری عورت سے بھی زیادہ " جو اپنے پردے میں ہو " باحیاء تھے اور جب آپ ﷺ کو کوئی چیز ناگوار محسوس ہوتی تو وہ ہم آپ ﷺ کے چہرے سے ہی پہچان لیا کرتے تھے۔
Hazrat Abusaid Khudri Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) kisi kunwari aurat se bhi ziada "jo apne parde mein ho" ba haya the aur jab Aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko koi cheez nagawar mehsoos hoti to woh hum Aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke chehre se hi pehchan liya karte the.
Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that once we were returning from an expedition to the east, along with a group of people. Abdullah bin Sayyad was also among us. Nobody would talk to him, nor would anyone befriend him, nor would anyone eat or drink with him. Rather, everyone would call him “Dajjal.” One day, while I was in my tent at a resting place, Abdullah bin Sayyad saw me. He came to me, sat down, and said, “O Abu Saeed! Don’t you see how people behave with me? Nobody is willing to talk to me, befriend me, or eat and drink with me. And everyone calls me Dajjal! While, O Abu Saeed! You know that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said that Dajjal will not be able to enter Madinah. And I was born in Madinah. I have also heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say that Dajjal will not have any offspring, while I have children. By Allah! Seeing this attitude of the people, my heart desires that I should take a rope, go into solitude, put it around my neck, strangle myself and get rid of these people. By Allah! I am not Dajjal, but if you wish, I can tell you his name, his parents’ names, and the name of the town from where he will emerge.”

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ ہم لوگ مشرق کی طرف سے لوگوں کی ایک جماعت کے ساتھ مدینہ منورہ سے واپس آرہے تھے، اس لشکر میں عبداللہ بن صیاد بھی شامل تھا، کوئی بھی اس سے بات چیت کرتا تھا اور نہ ہی اس کی رفاقت کے لئے تیار ہوتا تھا اور کوئی بھی اس کے ساتھ کھاتا پیتا نہ تھا، بلکہ سب ہی اسے " دجال " کہتے تھے، ایک دن میں کسی پڑاؤ کے موقع پر اپنے خیمے میں تھا کہ مجھے عبداللہ بن صیاد نے دیکھ لیا، وہ میرے پاس آکر بیٹھ گیا اور کہنے لگا اے ابوسعید! آپ میرے ساتھ لوگوں کا رویہ نہیں دیکھتے؟ میرے ساتھ کوئی بھی بات چیت، رفاقت اور کھانے پینے کے لئے تیار نہیں ہوتا اور سب مجھے دجال کہہ کر پکارتے ہیں، جب کہ اے ابوسعید! آپ جانتے ہیں کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا ہے کہ دجال مدینہ منورہ میں داخل نہیں ہوسکے گا اور میں تو پیدا ہی مدینہ منورہ میں ہوا ہوں اور میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے بھی سنا ہے کہ دجال کی کوئی اولاد نہ ہوگی جب کہ میری تو اولاد بھی ہے، بخدا! لوگوں کا یہ رویہ دیکھ کر میرا دل چاہتا ہے کہ ایک رسی لوں، تنہائی میں اسے اپنے گلے میں ڈال کر اپنا گلا گھونٹ لوں اور ان لوگوں سے نجات پالوں، بخدا! میں دجال نہیں ہوں، لیکن اگر آپ چاہیں تو میں آپ کو اس کا، اس کے ماں باپ کا اور اس بستی کا نام بھی بتاسکتا ہوں جہاں سے وہ خروج کرے گا۔
Hazrat Abusaid Khudri Raziallahu Anhu farmate hain keh aik martaba hum log mashriq ki taraf se logon ki aik jamaat ke sath Madina Munawara se wapas aa rahe the, iss lashkar mein Abdullah bin Sayyad bhi shamil tha, koi bhi iss se baat cheet karta tha aur na hi iss ki rafaqat ke liye tayyar hota tha aur koi bhi iss ke sath khata peeta na tha, balkeh sab hi isse "Dajjal" kehte the, aik din mein kisi padhao ke mauqe par apne khaime mein tha keh mujhe Abdullah bin Sayyad ne dekh liya, woh mere paas aakar baith gaya aur kehne laga aye Abusaid! Aap mere sath logon ka رویہ nahi dekhte? Mere sath koi bhi baat cheet, rafaqat aur khane pine ke liye tayyar nahi hota aur sab mujhe Dajjal keh kar pukarte hain, jab keh aye Abusaid! Aap jante hain keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya hai keh Dajjal Madina Munawara mein dakhil nahi hosakega aur mein to paida hi Madina Munawara mein hua hun aur maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate hue bhi suna hai keh Dajjal ki koi aulad na hogi jab keh meri to aulad bhi hai, Bakhuda! Logon ka ye رویہ dekh kar mera dil chahta hai keh aik rassi lun, tanhai mein isse apne gale mein daal kar apna gala ghonth lun aur in logon se nijaat pa lun, Bakhuda! Mein Dajjal nahi hun, lekin agar aap chahein to mein aap ko iss ka, iss ke maa baap ka aur iss basti ka naam bhi bata sakta hun jahan se woh khurooj karega.
It was narrated from Abu Sa’eed al-Khudri that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “My ummah will be divided into seventy-three sects, all of whom will be in the Fire except one.” They said: “Who are they, O Messenger of Allaah?” He said: “[Those who are] upon that which I and my Companions are upon.” And he said: “My ummah will split into two groups, and a group will emerge between them, and the group closest to the truth of those two will kill them.”

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا میری امت دو فرقوں میں بٹ جائے گی اور ان دونوں کے درمیان ایک گروہ نکلے گا جسے ان دو فرقوں میں سے حق کے زیادہ قریب فرقہ قتل کرے گا۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya meri ummat do firqon mein bat jayegi aur in donon ke darmiyaan ek giroh niklega jise in do firqon mein se haq ke zyada qareeb firqa qatal karega.
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Whoever dies in a state that he does not associate anything with Allah in worship will enter Paradise.”

حضرت ابوسعید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا جو شخص اس حال میں فوت ہو کہ اللہ کے ساتھ کسی کو شریک نہ ٹھہراتا ہو وہ جنت میں داخل ہوگا۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Rasulullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya jo shakhs is haal mein faut ho ki Allah ke sath kisi ko sharik na thahrata ho woh jannat mein dakhil hoga.
Abu Udaak reported that once Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) asked me, "Do the Khawaarij believe in the existence of Dajjal?" I said, "No." He then said, "The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: 'I am the seal of the Prophets, more than a thousand Prophets have come before me, and every Prophet that was sent warned his people about Dajjal. And I have been told something about him that no one before me was told. Remember! He will be one-eyed and your Lord is not one-eyed. His right eye will be defective, and you should know that it will be like a bulging grape. His left eye will be like a bright star, and he will have the ability to speak all languages. He will have with him a depiction of Paradise, green and lush with flowing water, and a depiction of Hell, which will be dark, black, and smoky.'"

ابوالوداک کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ مجھ سے حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ نے پوچھا کہ کیا خوارج دجال کے وجود کا اقرار کرتے ہیں؟ میں نے کہا نہیں، تو انہوں نے فرمایا کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا میں ہزار یا اس سے بھی زیادہ انبیاء کے آخر میں آیا ہوں، جو نبی متبوع بھی مبعوث ہوا اس نے اپنی امت کو دجال سے ضرور ڈرایا ہے اور مجھے اس کے متعلق ایک ایسی چیز بتائی گئی ہے جو کسی کو نہیں بتائی گئی تھی، یاد رکھو! وہ کانا ہوگا اور تمہارا رب کانا نہیں ہے، اس کی دائیں آنکھ تو کانی ہوگی اور تم پر یہ بات مخفی نہ رہے کہ وہ کسی چونے کی دیوار میں لگے ہوئے تھوک یا ناک کی ریزش کی طرح ہوگی اور بائیں آنکھ کسی روشن ستارے کی طرح ہوگی اور اس کے پاس ہر زبان بولنے کی صلاحیت ہوگی، نیز اس کے پاس سرسبز و شاداب جنت کا ایک عکس بھی ہوگا جس میں پانی بہتا ہوگا اور ایک نمونہ جہنم کا ہوگا جو کالی سیاہ اور دھوئیں دار ہوگی۔
Abualudak kahte hain ke aik martaba mujh se Hazrat Abusaeed Khudri raziallahu anhu ne poocha ke kya khawarj dajjal ke wajood ka iqrar karte hain? Maine kaha nahi, to unhon ne farmaya ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya main hazar ya is se bhi zyada anbiya ke akhir mein aya hun, jo nabi mutboo bhi mab'oos hua usne apni ummat ko dajjal se zaroor daraya hai aur mujhe iske mutalliq ek aisi cheez batai gai hai jo kisi ko nahi batai gai thi, yaad rakho! Woh kana hoga aur tumhara rab kana nahi hai, uski dayen ankh to kani hogi aur tum par ye baat makhfi na rahe ke woh kisi choone ki deewar mein lage hue thook ya nak ki rezesh ki tarah hogi aur bayen ankh kisi roshan sitare ki tarah hogi aur uske paas har zaban bolne ki salahiyat hogi, neez uske paas sar sabz o shadab jannat ka ek aks bhi hoga jismein pani bahta hoga aur ek namuna jahannam ka hoga jo kali siyah aur dhuen daar hogi.
It is narrated on the authority of Hadhrat Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the mention of Ibn Sayyad came up in the presence of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Hadhrat Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) remarked that he (Ibn Sayyad) thinks that everything he passes by starts talking to him.

حضرت ابوسعید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ کے سامنے ابن صیاد کا تذکرہ ہوا تو حضرت عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کہنے لگے کہ وہ یہ سمجھتا ہے کہ وہ جہاں سے گذر جاتا ہے ہر چیز اس سے بات کرنے لگتی ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke samne Ibn Sayyad ka tazkira hua to Hazrat Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) kehne lage ki wo ye samajhta hai ki wo jahan se guzar jata hai har cheez us se baat karne lagti hai.
Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Once there was a mutual discussion between Paradise and Hell. Paradise said, "O Lord! What is my fault that only the poor and lowly people will enter me?" And Hell said, "What is my fault that only the tyrants and the arrogant will enter me?" Allah said to Hell, "You are My punishment, I will punish whomever I want through you." And to Paradise He said, "You are My mercy, I will have mercy on whomever I want through you. And I will fill both of you."

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا ایک مرتبہ جنت اور جہنم میں باہمی مباحثہ ہوا، جنت کہنے لگی کہ پروردگار! میرا کیا قصور ہے کہ مجھ میں صرف فقراء اور کم تر حیثیت کے لوگ داخل ہوں گے؟ اور جہنم کہنے لگی کہ میرا کیا قصور ہے کہ مجھ میں صرف جابر اور متکبر لوگ داخل ہوں گے؟ اللہ نے جہنم سے فرمایا کہ تو میرا عذاب ہے، میں جسے چاہوں گا تیرے ذریعے سے اسے سزا دوں گا اور جنت سے فرمایا کہ تو میری رحمت ہے، میں جس پر چاہوں گا تیرے ذریعہ سے رحم کروں گا اور تم دونوں میں سے ہر ایک کو بھر دوں گا۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri Raziallahu Anhu marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ek martaba Jannat aur Jahannum mein bahami mubahila hua, Jannat kehne lagi keh Parwardigaar! mera kya kasoor hai keh mujh mein sirf fuqra aur kam tar haisiyat ke log dakhil honge? Aur Jahannum kehne lagi keh mera kya kasoor hai keh mujh mein sirf jaabir aur mutakabbir log dakhil honge? Allah ne Jahannum se farmaya keh tu mera azab hai, mein jise chahoon ga tere zarye se use saza dun ga aur Jannat se farmaya keh tu meri rehmat hai, mein jis par chahoon ga tere zarye se reham karun ga aur tum donon mein se har ek ko bhar dun ga.
Narrated Abu Sa'id al-Khudri: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: It is permissible (for a person who is in the state of Ihram) to kill snakes, scorpions, rats, and rabid dogs. (In this Hadith, the word "fawasiqah" is used for the mouse.) The narrator said: I asked the meaning of "fawasiqah", so he replied: A mouse. I asked: What is the problem with the mouse? He replied: Once, the Prophet (ﷺ) woke up to find that a mouse had climbed up to the ceiling with the wick of an oil lamp, in order to set it on fire (since then it has been called "fawasiqah").

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا محرم سانپ، بچھو، چوہا، باؤلا کتا مار سکتا ہے (اس حدیث میں چوہے کے لئے " فویسقہ " کا لفظ آیا ہے لہٰذا) راوی کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے فویسقہ کا معنی پوچھا تو انہوں نے فرمایا چوہا، میں نے پوچھا کہ چوہے کا کیا مسئلہ ہے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ بیدار ہوئے تو ایک چوہا چراغ کا فیتہ لے کر چھت پر چڑھ گیا تاکہ اسے آگ لگا دوں (اس وقت سے اسے فویسقہ کہا جانے لگا)
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya muhrim saanp, bichhu, chooha, bawla kutta maar sakta hai (iss hadees mein choohe ke liye "fawaiseeqa" ka lafz aaya hai lihaza) ravi kehte hain ki maine fawaiseeqa ka mani poocha to unhon ne farmaya chooha, maine poocha ki choohe ka kya masla hai? Unhon ne farmaya ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) bedaar huye to ek chooha chiragh ka feeta lekar chhat par chala gaya takay usay aag laga dun (iss waqt se usay fawaiseeqa kaha jane laga).
It is narrated by Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Fatima (may Allah be pleased with her) will be the leader of all the women of Paradise, "except for Maryam (Mary)."

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا حضرت فاطمہ رضی اللہ عنہ تمام خواتین جنت کی " سوائے حضرت مریم کے " سردار ہوں گی۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya Hazrat Fatima ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) tamam khawateen jannat ki "siwaye Hazrat Maryam ke" sardar hongi.
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "In the end of times, during an era of trials and tribulations, a man will emerge whom people will call 'The Generous One.' He will lavish people with wealth and riches."

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا اختتام زمانہ اور فتنوں کے دور میں ایک آدمی نکلے گا جسے لوگ " سفاح " کہتے ہوں گے وہ بھر بھر کر لوگوں کو مال و دولت دیا کرے گا۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ikhtetam zamana aur fitnon ke daur mein ek aadmi niklega jise log sufaah kehte honge wo bhar bhar kar logon ko maal o daulat diya karega.
It was narrated from Abu Sa’eed al-Khudri that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “When thirty sons have been born to the progeny of so-and-so, the people will regard the wealth of Allah as their own property, they will start interfering in the religion of Allah and they will start to mock and belittle the slaves of Allah.”

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا جب فلاں شخص کی نسل میں تیس بیٹے پیدا ہوجائیں گے تو لوگ اللہ کے مال کو اپنی دولت سمجھنے لگیں گے، اللہ کے دین میں دخل اندازی کرنے لگیں گے اور اللہ کے بندوں کے ساتھ ہنسی اور ٹھٹھہ کرنے لگیں گے۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri raziallahu anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya jab falan shaks ki nasal mein tees bete paida hojain ge to log Allah ke mal ko apni daulat samajhne lagenge, Allah ke deen mein dakhal andazi karne lagenge aur Allah ke bandon ke sath hansi aur thatha karne lagenge.
It is narrated by Abu Saeed Khudri (R.A.) that once the wife of Safwan bin Mu'attal came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) while we were present there. She said, "O Messenger of Allah! When I pray, my husband Safwan bin Mu'attal hits me, and when I fast, he makes me break it, and he himself does not pray Fajr until the sun rises." Safwan was also present there. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked him about it. He said, "O Messenger of Allah! As for her saying that I hit her when she prays, it is because she recites two Surahs in one Rak'ah. I forbade her from doing so." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "One Surah is sufficient for everyone." As for her saying that he makes her break her fast, she observes voluntary fasts. I am a young man and I cannot be patient." On that day, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "No woman should observe a voluntary fast without her husband's permission." And as for her saying that he does not pray Fajr until the sun rises, it is well known about our household that we wake up after sunrise. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "When you wake up, pray your prayer."

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ صفوان بن معطل کی بیوی نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئی، اس وقت ہم لوگ یہیں تھے اور وہ کہنے لگی یا رسول اللہ ﷺ ! جب میں نماز پڑھتی ہوں تو میرا شوہر صفوان بن معطل مجھے مارتا ہے اور جب روزہ رکھتی ہوں تو تڑوا دیتا ہے اور خود فجر کی نماز نہیں پڑھتا حتیٰ کہ سورج نکل آتا ہے، صفوان بھی وہاں موجود تھے، نبی ﷺ نے ان سے اس کے متعلق پوچھا تو وہ کہنے لگے یا رسول اللہ ﷺ ! اس نے جو یہ کہا کہ جب میں نماز پڑھتی ہوں تو یہ مجھے مارتا ہے تو یہ ایک رکعت میں دو سورتیں پڑھتی ہے، میں نے اسے منع کیا نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ ایک سورت تمام لوگوں کے لئے بھی کافی ہوتی ہے، رہی یہ بات کہ میں اس کا روزہ ختم کروا دیتا ہوں تو یہ نفلی روزے رکھتی ہے، میں نوجوان آدمی ہوں مجھ سے صبر نہیں ہوتا، اسی دن نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کوئی عورت اپنے شوہر کی مرضی کے بغیر نفلی روزہ نہ رکھے اور رہا اس کا یہ کہنا کہ میں فجر کی نماز نہیں پڑھتا یہاں تک کہ سورج نکل آتا ہے تو ہمارے اہل خانہ کے حوالے سے یہ بات ہر جگہ مشہور ہے کہ ہم لوگ سورج نکلنے کے بعد ہی سو کر اٹھتے ہیں، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا جب تم بیدار ہوا کرو تو نماز پڑھ لیا کرو۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki aik martaba Safwan bin Muattal ki biwi Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir hui, iss waqt hum log yaheen the aur woh kehne lagi Ya Rasulallah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)! Jab main namaz parhti hun to mera shohar Safwan bin Muattal mujhe maarta hai aur jab roza rakhti hun to tudwa deta hai aur khud fajr ki namaz nahi parhta hatta ke sooraj nikal aata hai, Safwan bhi wahan mojood the, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unse iss ke mutalliq poocha to woh kehne lage Ya Rasulallah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)! Iss ne jo yeh kaha ki jab main namaz parhti hun to yeh mujhe maarta hai to yeh aik rakat mein do suratein parhti hai, maine isse mana kiya Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki aik surat tamam logon ke liye bhi kaafi hoti hai, rahi yeh baat ki main iss ka roza khatam karwa deta hun to yeh nafli roze rakhti hai, main jawan aadmi hun mujh se sabar nahi hota, isi din Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya koi aurat apne shohar ki marzi ke baghair nafli roza na rakhe aur raha iss ka yeh kehna ki main fajr ki namaz nahi parhta yahan tak ke sooraj nikal aata hai to humare ahl khana ke hawale se yeh baat har jagah mashhoor hai ki hum log sooraj nikalne ke baad hi so kar uthte hain, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya jab tum bedar hua karo to namaz parh liya karo.
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Sa'eed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade drinking from a broken part of a vessel and blowing into it (breathing into it).

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے برتن کی ٹوٹی ہوئی جگہ سے پانی پینے اور اس میں پھونکیں مارنے (سانس لینے) سے منع فرمایا ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne bartan ki tooti hui jagah se pani peene aur us mein phoonkain marne (saans lene) se mana farmaya hai.
It was narrated from Abu Sa'eed al-Khudri that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "There are three people at whom Allah smiles: a man who gets up at night and prays; people who stand in rows for prayer; and people who stand in rows for Jihad."

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا تین آدمیوں کو دیکھ کر اللہ کو ہنسی آتی ہے، ایک وہ آدمی جو رات کو کھڑا ہو کر نماز پڑھے، دوسرے وہ لوگ جو نماز کے لئے صف بندی کریں اور تیسرے وہ لوگ جو جہاد کے لئے صف بندی کریں۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri RA se marvi hai keh Nabi SAW ne farmaya teen aadmiyon ko dekh kar Allah ko hansi aati hai, aik woh aadmi jo raat ko khada ho kar namaz parhe, dusre woh log jo namaz ke liye saf bandi karen aur tisre woh log jo jihad ke liye saf bandi karen.
Narrated by Abu Saeed Khudri (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that the Prophet (PBUH) said in the Farewell Hajj, Remember! Your most honorable day is today, the most honorable month is this month and the most honorable city is this one. Remember! The sanctity of your life and wealth is upon each other just as the sanctity of this day in this month and in this city. Have I conveyed the message? The people said, Yes! The Prophet (PBUH) said, O Allah! Be You a witness.

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے حجۃ الوداع میں فرمایا یاد رکھو! تمہارا سب سے معزز دن آج کا ہے، سب سے معزز مہینہ آج کا مہینہ ہے اور سب سے معزز شہر یہ والا ہے، یاد رکھو! تمہاری جان و مال کی حرمت ایک دوسرے پر اسی طرح ہے جیسے اس دن کی حرمت اس مہینے میں اور اس شہر میں ہے، کیا میں نے پیغام پہنچا دیا؟ لوگوں نے کہا جی ہاں! نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا اے اللہ! تو گواہ رہنا۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri RA se marvi hai ke Nabi SAW ne Hajjatul Wida mein farmaya yaad rakho! Tumhara sab se moazziz din aaj ka hai, sab se moazziz mahina aaj ka mahina hai aur sab se moazziz shehar ye wala hai, yaad rakho! Tumhari jaan o maal ki hurmat ek doosre par isi tarah hai jaise is din ki hurmat is mahine mein aur is shehar mein hai, kya maine paigham pohancha diya? Logon ne kaha ji haan! Nabi SAW ne farmaya aye Allah! Tu gawa rehna.
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: If a Muslim in Paradise desires a child, then its conception, birth and growth to maturity will all be completed in an instant, according to his wish.

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا اگر کسی مسلمان کو جنت میں بچے کی خواہش ہوگی تو اس کا حمل، وضع حمل اور عمر تمام مراحل ایک لمحے میں اس کی خواہش کے مطابق ہوجائیں گے۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya agar kisi musalman ko jannat mein bachay ki khwahish hogi to uska hamal, waza e hamal aur umar tamam marhale ek lamhe mein uski khwahish ke mutabiq hojaenge.
It is narrated from Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "A woman is married for one of three reasons: either for her wealth, or for her beauty, or for her religion. So marry the woman who is religious and of good character, and your hand be rubbed in dust (i.e., may you be blessed with success)."

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا عورت سے شادی تین میں سے کسی ایک وجہ سے کی جاتی ہے، یا تو اس کے مال کی وجہ سے یا اس کے حسن و جمال کی وجہ سے یا اس کے دین کی وجہ سے تم اس عورت سے شادی کرو جو دین و اخلاق والی ہو، تمہارا ہاتھ خاک آلود ہو۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri RA se marvi hai ke Nabi SAW ne irshad farmaya aurat se shadi teen mein se kisi aik waja se ki jati hai ya to uske maal ki waja se ya uske husn o jamal ki waja se ya uske deen ki waja se tum us aurat se shadi karo jo deen o akhlaq wali ho tumhara hath khak aalud ho.
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that once Usaid bin Hudair (may Allah be pleased with him) was reciting the Holy Quran at night in his camel enclosure when suddenly his horse started neighing. As he continued reciting, the horse neighed even louder. Usaid (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "I feared that it might trample my son Yahya, so I went towards it. Suddenly, I felt a canopy-like thing above my head, in which there were things like lamps. It ascended towards the sky until it disappeared from my sight."
The next day, he went to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah! Last night I was reciting the Holy Quran in my enclosure when suddenly my horse started neighing." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "O Ibn Hudair! You should have continued reciting." He submitted, "I continued but its neighing increased." The Prophet (peace be upon him) repeated the same thing thrice. Finally, he said, "Since Yahya was near it, I feared that it might trample him, so I went to it. I then saw a canopy with things like lamps in it. The canopy ascended towards the sky until it disappeared from my sight." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Those were angels who were listening to your recitation. If you had continued reciting, people would have seen them in the morning, and nothing would have been hidden from them."

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ حضرت اسید بن حضیر رضی اللہ عنہ رات کے وقت اپنے اونٹوں کے باڑے میں قرآن کریم پڑھ رہے تھے کہ اچانک ان کا گھوڑا بدکنے لگا، وہ جوں جوں پڑھتے جاتے، وہ مزید بدکتا جاتا، حضرت اسید رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ مجھے خطرہ ہوا کہ کہیں وہ میرے بیٹے یحییٰ کو ہی نہ روند ڈالے، چنانچہ میں اس کی طرف گیا، اچانک مجھے اپنے سر کے اوپر ایک سائبان سا محسوس ہوا جس میں چراغ جیسی چیزیں تھیں، وہ آسمان کی طرف بلند ہوا حتیٰ کہ میری نظروں سے اوجھل ہوگیا۔ اگلے دن میں نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا اور عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ ﷺ ! آج رات میں اپنے باڑے میں قرآن کریم کی تلاوت کر رہا تھا کہ اچانک میرا گھوڑا بدکنے لگا، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا ابن حضیر! تم پڑھتے رہتے، انہوں نے عرض کیا کہ میں پڑھتا رہا لیکن اس کے بدکنے میں اور اضافہ ہوگیا، تین مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے یہی فرمایا: آخر میں انہوں نے عرض کیا کہ چونکہ یحییٰ اس کے قریب تھا اس لئے مجھے اندیشہ ہوا کہ کہیں وہ اسے نہ روند ڈالے، چنانچہ میں اس کے پاس چلا گیا، میں نے اس وقت ایک سائبان دیکھا جس میں چراغ جیسی چیزیں تھیں، وہ سائبان آسمان کی طرف بلند ہوا یہاں تک کہ میری نظروں سے اوجھل ہوگیا، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا وہ فرشتے تھے جو تمہاری تلاوت سن رہے تھے، اگر تم پڑھتے رہتے تو صبح کو لوگ انہیں دیکھ لیتے اور کوئی چیز ان سے چھپ نہ سکتی۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ke ek martaba Hazrat Usaid bin Hazir Raziallahu Anhu raat ke waqt apne oonton ke baare mein Quran Kareem padh rahe the ke achanak unka ghora badakne laga, woh joon joon padhte jate, woh mazeed badakta jata, Hazrat Usaid Raziallahu Anhu kehte hain ke mujhe khatra hua ke kahin woh mere bete Yahya ko hi na raund dale, chunancha mein uski taraf gaya, achanak mujhe apne sar ke upar ek saiban sa mehsoos hua jis mein chiragh jaisi cheezein thin, woh asman ki taraf buland hua hatta ke meri nazron se ojhal hogaya. Agale din mein Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir hua aur arz kiya Ya Rasulullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)! Aaj raat mein apne baare mein Quran Kareem ki tilawat kar raha tha ke achanak mera ghora badakne laga, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya Ibn Hazir! Tum padhte rehte, unhon ne arz kiya ke mein padhta raha lekin uske badakne mein aur izafa hogaya, teen martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne yahi farmaya: Akhir mein unhon ne arz kiya ke chunki Yahya uske qareeb tha isliye mujhe andesha hua ke kahin woh use na raund dale, chunancha mein uske pas chala gaya, mein ne us waqt ek saiban dekha jis mein chiragh jaisi cheezein thin, woh saiban asman ki taraf buland hua yahan tak ke meri nazron se ojhal hogaya, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya woh farishte the jo tumhari tilawat sun rahe the, agar tum padhte rehte to subah ko log unhen dekh lete aur koi cheez unse chhup na sakti.
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Saeed Khudri, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: Once, Musa (Moses), peace be upon him, prayed to Allah, "O Lord! Your believing servants face many hardships in this world." Allah showed him a gate of Paradise and said, "O Moses! I have prepared all this for him." Musa, peace be upon him, said, "By Your glory and majesty, O Lord! If a person were to have embers placed on his face from the day of his birth until the Day of Judgment, and his hands and feet were to be cut off, but his destination was this, he would not feel any hardship in it." Then Musa, peace be upon him, said, "O Lord! Your disbelieving servants have much ease in this world." Allah showed him a gate of Hell and said, "O Moses! This is what I have prepared for him." Musa, peace be upon him, said, "By Your glory and majesty, O Lord! If he were to be given the world from his birth until the Day of Judgment, but his destination was this, he would not have attained any good."

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا ایک مرتبہ حضرت موسیٰ علیہ السلام نے بارگاہ الٰہی میں عرض کیا کہ پروردگار! آپ کے بندہ مومن پر دنیا میں بڑی تکالیف آتی ہیں، اللہ نے انہیں جنت کا ایک دروازہ کھول کر دکھایا اور فرمایا کہ اے موسیٰ! یہ سب میں نے اسی کے لئے تیار کر رکھا ہے، حضرت موسیٰ علیہ السلام نے عرض کیا پروردگار! تیری عزت اور جلال کی قسم! اگر کوئی آدمی اپنی پیدائش کے دن سے قیامت تک اپنے چہرے کے بل چلتا رہے اور اس کے ہاتھ پاؤں کٹے ہوئے ہوں لیکن اس کا ٹھکانہ یہ ہو تو بھی وہ اس میں کچھ تکلیف محسوس نہ کرے۔ پھر حضرت موسیٰ علیہ السلام نے عرض کیا پروردگار! آپ کے کافر بندہ پر دنیا میں بڑی وسعت ہوتی ہے؟ اللہ نے انہیں جہنم کا ایک دروازہ کھول کر دکھایا اور فرمایا کہ اے موسیٰ! یہ میں نے اس کے لئے تیار کر رکھا ہے، حضرت موسیٰ علیہ السلام نے عرض کیا کہ پروردگار! تیری عزت اور جلال کی قسم! اگر اسے اپنی پیدائش سے لے کر قیامت تک کے لئے دنیا دے دی جائے لیکن اس کا ٹھکانہ یہ ہو تو اسے کوئی اچھائی نہ ملی۔

Aap ke banda momin par duniya mein bari takleef aati hain, Allah ne unhen jannat ka ek darwaza khol kar dikhaya aur farmaya ke aye Musa! Ye sab maine usi ke liye taiyar kar rakha hai, Hazrat Musa Alaihissalam ne arz kiya Parwardigaar! Teri izzat aur jalal ki qasam! Agar koi aadmi apni paiddaish ke din se qayamat tak apne chehre ke bal chalta rahe aur uske hath pair kate hue hon lekin uska thikana ye ho to bhi wo usme kuch takleef mehsoos na kare. Phir Hazrat Musa Alaihissalam ne arz kiya Parwardigaar! Aap ke kafir banda par duniya mein bari wusat hoti hai? Allah ne unhen jahannam ka ek darwaza khol kar dikhaya aur farmaya ke aye Musa! Ye maine uske liye taiyar kar rakha hai, Hazrat Musa Alaihissalam ne arz kiya ke Parwardigaar! Teri izzat aur jalal ki qasam! Agar use apni paiddaish se le kar qayamat tak ke liye duniya de di jaye lekin uska thikana ye ho to use koi achhai na mili.
It is narrated by Abu Saeed Khudri (رضي الله تعالى عنه) and Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that the Prophet (PBUH) said, "Whoever takes a bath on Friday, uses Miswak, applies perfume if available, wears nice clothes, then goes to the mosque and does not cross over people's necks and offers Nafl prayers as much as he wishes, then remains silent when the Imam comes out and does not speak until the prayer is over, then this will be an atonement for his sins committed between that Friday and the previous Friday." Abu Huraira (رضي الله تعالى عنه) added that it includes the next three days as well. And said that Allah has promised to give ten times the reward for every good deed.

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ اور ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا جو شخص جمعہ کے دن غسل کرے مسواک کرے، خوشبو لگائے، بشرطیکہ موجود بھی ہو اور اچھے کپڑے پہنے، پھر نکل کر مسجد میں آئے، لوگوں کی گردنیں نہ پھلانگے اور حسب منشا نوافل پڑھے، جب امام نکل آئے تو خاموشی اختیار کرے اور نماز سے فارغ ہونے تک کوئی بات نہ کرے تو یہ اس جمعہ اور پچھلے جمعہ کے درمیان کے تمام گناہوں کا کفارہ بن جائے گا، حضرت ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ اگلے تین دن بھی شامل کرتے تھے اور فرماتے تھے کہ اللہ ہر نیکی کا ثواب دس گنا مقرر فرما رکھا ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (رضي الله تعالى عنه) aur Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya jo shakhs juma ke din gusl kare miswak kare khushbu lagaye basharte ke mojood bhi ho aur achhe kapde pehne phir nikal kar masjid me aaye logon ki gardanen na phulange aur hasb e mansha nawafil padhe jab imam nikal aaye to khamoshi ikhtiyar kare aur namaz se farigh hone tak koi baat na kare to ye us juma aur pehle juma ke darmiyaan ke tamam gunahon ka kaffara ban jayega Hazrat Abu Hurairah (رضي الله تعالى عنه) agle teen din bhi shamil karte the aur farmate the ke Allah har neki ka sawab das guna muqarar farma rakha hai
It was narrated from Abu Sa'eed al-Khudri that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "When the Day of Jummah comes, the angels sit at the gates of the mosques and write down those who come, giving (each of) them the reward according to the order of their arrival. (The reward of) one will be like that of giving a camel in charity, (another) a cow, (another) a ram, (another) a chicken and (another) an egg. Then when the Mu'adhdhin gives the Adhan and the Imam sits (on the Minbar), the records are rolled up, and they enter the mosque to listen to the Khutbah."

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا جب جمعہ کا دن آتا ہے تو فرشتے مسجد کے دروازوں پر بیٹھ جاتے ہیں اور درجہ بدرجہ آنے والوں کا ثواب لکھتے رہتے ہیں، کسی کا ثواب اونٹ صدقہ کرنے کے برابر، کسی کا گائے، کسی کا بکری، کسی کا مرغی، کسی کا چڑیا اور کسی کا انڈہ صدقہ کرنے کے برابر، پھر جب مؤذن اذان دے دیتا ہے اور امام منبر پر بیٹھ جاتا ہے تو نامہ اعمال لپیٹ دیئے جاتے ہیں اور فرشتے مسجد میں داخل ہو کر ذکر سننے لگتے ہیں۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri raziallahu anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya jab juma ka din aata hai to farishte masjid ke darwazon par baith jate hain aur darja badarja aane walon ka sawab likhte rahte hain, kisi ka sawab unt sadqa karne ke barabar, kisi ka gaaye, kisi ka bakri, kisi ka murgi, kisi ka chidiya aur kisi ka anda sadqa karne ke barabar, phir jab moazzin azan de deta hai aur imam mimbar par baith jata hai to nama amal lapet diye jate hain aur farishte masjid mein dakhil ho kar zikr sunne lagte hain.
It is narrated by Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whatever hardship, grief, sadness, illness, or worry afflicts a Muslim, even the disturbing thoughts that cross his mind, Allah expiates his sins through them.

حضرت ابوسعید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا مسلمان کو جو پریشانی، تکلیف، غم، بیماری، دکھ حتیٰ کہ وہ خیالات " جو اسے تنگ کرتے ہیں " پہنچتے ہیں، اللہ ان کے ذریعے اس کے گناہوں کا کفارہ کردیتے ہیں۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya Musalman ko jo pareshani, takleef, ghum, bimari, dukh hatta ki woh khayalat "jo usay tang karte hain" pahuchte hain, Allah un ke zariye us ke gunahon ka kaffara karte hain.
It is narrated on the authority of Hadhrat Abu Sa'eed (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) distributed some food items among the people, some of which were better than others. We started bidding against each other for them. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade us from doing so and said that selling should be done only by measure and there should be no excess in it.

حضرت ابوسعید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ایک مرتبہ لوگوں میں کچھ کھانے کی چیزیں تقسیم فرمائیں جن میں سے بعض دوسروں سے عمدہ تھیں، ہم آپس میں ایک دوسرے سے بولی لگانے لگے، نبی ﷺ نے ہمیں اس سے منع فرما دیا کہ صرف ناپ کر ہی بیع کی جائے، اس میں کچھ زیادتی نہ ہو۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai ki Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne ek martaba logon mein kuch khanay ki cheezain taqseem farmayein jin mein se baz doosron se umdah thin, hum aapas mein ek doosre se boli lagane lage, Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne humein is se mana farma diya ki sirf naap kar hi bech ki jaye, is mein kuch ziyadati na ho.
Once, Abu Said Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) was narrating a hadith on a certain topic when Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) came to visit him and said, "O Abu Said! What hadith are you narrating on the authority of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)?" He said, "I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying, 'Sell gold for gold in equal amounts, and silver for silver in equal amounts.'"

ایک مرتبہ حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ اسی مضمون کی ایک حدیث بیان کر رہے تھے کہ ان سے حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہ ملاقات کے لئے آئے اور کہنے لگے کہ اے ابوسعید! یہ کیا حدیث ہے جو آپ نبی ﷺ کے حوالے سے بیان کر رہے ہیں؟ انہوں نے فرمایا کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے سونا سونے کے بدلے برابر سرابر بیچو اور چاندی چاندی کے بدلے برابر سرابر بیچو۔

It is narrated by Abu Saeed Khudri (R.A.) that once we were sitting and waiting for the Prophet (PBUH) when he came out from the house of one of his wives. We started walking with the Prophet (PBUH), and on the way, his shoe broke. Ali (R.A.) stopped to sew the shoe, and the Prophet (PBUH) continued walking, and so did we. When we reached a place, the Prophet (PBUH) stopped and waited for Ali (R.A.), and we also stopped. In the meantime, the Prophet (PBUH) said, "There will be a man among you who will fight for the interpretation and explanation of the Holy Quran in the same way as I have fought for its revelation." Hearing this, we started looking around. At that time, Abu Bakr and Umar (R.A.) were also present among us, but the Prophet (PBUH) said, "It is the one who is sewing the shoe." On this, we went to Ali (R.A.) to tell him this good news, but it seemed as if he had already heard it.

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ ہم لوگ بیٹھے ہوئے نبی ﷺ کا انتظار کر رہے تھے کہ نبی ﷺ اپنی کسی اہلیہ محترمہ کے گھر سے تشریف لے آئے، ہم نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ چل پڑے، راستے میں نبی ﷺ کی جوتی ٹوٹ گئی، حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ رک کر جوتی سینے لگے اور نبی ﷺ آگے چل پڑے، ہم بھی چلتے رہے، ایک جگہ پہنچ کر نبی ﷺ کھڑے ہوگئے اور حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ کا انتظار کرنے لگے، ہم بھی کھڑے ہوگئے اسی دوران نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا تم میں ایک آدمی ایسا بھی ہوگا جو قرآن کریم کی تاویل و تفسیر پر اسی طرح قتال کرے گا جیسے میں نے اس کی تنزیل پر قتال کیا ہے، یہ سن کر ہم جھانک جھانک کر دیکھنے لگے، اس وقت ہمارے درمیان حضرت ابوبکر و عمر رضی اللہ عنہ بھی موجود تھے، لیکن نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا وہ جوتی سینے والا ہے، اس پر ہم حضرت علی رضی اللہ عنہ کو یہ خوشخبری سنانے کے لئے گیئے تو ایسا محسوس ہوا کہ جیسے انہوں نے بھی یہ بات سن لی ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek martaba hum log baithe hue Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ka intezar kar rahe the ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) apni kisi ahliya muhtarima ke ghar se tashreef le aaye, hum Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath chal pade, raste mein Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki jooti toot gayi, Hazrat Ali (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ruk kar jooti silne lage aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) aage chal pade, hum bhi chalte rahe, ek jagah pahunch kar Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) khde hogaye aur Hazrat Ali (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ka intezar karne lage, hum bhi khde hogaye isi dauran Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya tum mein ek aadmi aisa bhi hoga jo Quran Kareem ki taweel o tafseer par isi tarah qital karega jaise maine iski tanzeel par qital kiya hai, yeh sunkar hum jhank jhank kar dekhne lage, iss waqt humare darmiyaan Hazrat Abubakar o Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) bhi maujood the, lekin Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya woh jooti silne wala hai, iss par hum Hazrat Ali (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ko yeh khushkhabri sunane ke liye gaye to aisa mehsoos hua jaise unhon ne bhi yeh baat sun li hai.
A man came to Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) and said, "Please advise me." He replied, "I asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) the same thing. I advise you to fear Allah, for that is the foundation of everything. Make Jihad obligatory upon yourself, for it is the monasticism of Islam. And make the remembrance of Allah and the recitation of the Quran obligatory upon yourself, for they are your spirit in the heavens and your mention on earth."
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that once we were sitting and waiting for the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).... then the narrator mentioned the whole hadith and in the end said that it seemed as if they had also heard this.

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس ایک آدمی آیا اور کہنے لگا کہ مجھے کوئی وصیت فرما دیجئے، انہوں نے فرمایا کہ تم نے وہی درخواست کی جو میں نے نبی ﷺ سے کی تھی، میں تمہیں اللہ سے ڈرنے کی وصیت کرتا ہوں کہ وہ ہر چیز کی بنیاد ہے، جہاد کو اپنے اوپر لازم کرلو کہ وہ اسلام کی رہبانیت ہے اور ذکر اللہ اور تلاوت قرآن کو اپنے اوپر لازم کرلو کہ وہ آسمان تمہاری روح اور زمین تمہارا ذکر ہے۔
حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ ہم لوگ بیٹھے ہوئے نبی ﷺ کا انتظار کر رہے تھے۔۔۔۔۔۔ پھر راوی نے پوری حدیث ذکر کی اور آخر میں کہا تو ایسا محسوس ہوا کہ جیسے انہوں نے بھی یہ بات سن لی ہے۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke paas ek aadmi aaya aur kehne laga ke mujhe koi wasiyat farma dijiye, unhon ne farmaya ke tum ne wohi darkhwast ki jo main ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se ki thi, main tumhen Allah se darne ki wasiyat karta hun ke woh har cheez ki bunyad hai, jihad ko apne upar laazim karlo ke woh Islam ki rahbaniyat hai aur zikr Allah aur tilawat Quran ko apne upar laazim karlo ke woh aasman tumhari rooh aur zameen tumhara zikr hai.

Narrated by Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him): Once, we were sitting, waiting for the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to come out from the house of one of his wives. When he came out, we accompanied him. On the way, the Prophet's sandal broke. Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) stopped to fix it while the Prophet continued walking, and we followed him. Upon reaching a certain place, the Prophet stopped and waited for Ali. We also stopped. In the meantime, the Prophet said, "Amongst you there will be a man who will fight for the interpretation and explanation of the Quran just as I have fought for its revelation." Hearing this, we began to look around curiously. Amongst us were Abu Bakr and Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both). The Prophet then said, "It is the one who is mending the sandal." We went to give this good news to Ali, and it seemed as if he had already been informed about it.

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ ہم لوگ بیٹھے ہوئے نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کا انتظار کر رہے تھے کہ نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) اپنی کسی اہلیہ محترمہ کے گھر سے تشریف لے آئے، ہم نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کے ساتھ چل پڑے، راستے میں نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کی جوتی ٹوٹ گئی، حضرت علی (رض) رک کر جوتی سینے لگے اور نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) آگے چل پڑے، ہم بھی چلتے رہے، ایک جگہ پہنچ کر نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کھڑے ہوگئے اور حضرت علی (رض) کا انتظار کرنے لگے، ہم بھی کھڑے ہوگئے اسی دوران نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا تم میں ایک آدمی ایسا بھی ہوگا جو قرآن کریم کی تاویل و تفسیر پر اسی طرح قتال کرے گا جیسے میں نے اس کی تنزیل پر قتال کیا ہے، یہ سن کر ہم جھانک جھانک کر دیکھنے لگے، اس وقت ہمارے درمیان حضرت ابوبکر و عمر (رض) بھی موجود تھے، لیکن نبی (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے فرمایا وہ جوتی سینے والا ہے، اس پر ہم حضرت علی (رض) کو یہ خوشخبری سنانے کے لئے گیئے تو ایسا محسوس ہوا کہ جیسے انہوں نے بھی یہ بات سن لی ہے۔

It is narrated on the authority of Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to Ibn Sayyad, at that time he was playing with children, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked him, "Do you testify that I am the Messenger of Allah?" He turned to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and asked, "Do you testify that you are my Messenger?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "I have thought of something for you, tell me what it is?" He said, "Dajjal (Anti-Christ)." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Go away, you can never proceed beyond your position."

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ ابن صیاد کے پاس تشریف لائے، اس وقت وہ بچوں کے ساتھ کھیل رہا تھا، نبی ﷺ نے اس سے فرمایا کیا تو اس بات کی گواہی دیتا ہے کہ میں اللہ کا رسول ہوں، اس نے پلٹ کر نبی ﷺ سے پوچھا کیا آپ میرے رسول ہونے کی گواہی دیتے ہیں؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ میں نے تیرے لئے اپنے ذہن میں ایک بات سوچی ہے، بتا وہ کیا ہے؟ اس نے کہا " دخ " نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا دور ہو، تو اپنے مقام سے ہرگز آگے نہیں بڑھ سکتا۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri RA se marvi hai ke ek martaba Nabi SAW Ibn Sayyad ke paas tashreef laaye, us waqt wo bachchon ke saath khel raha tha, Nabi SAW ne us se farmaya kya tu is baat ki gawahi deta hai ke main Allah ka rasool hun, us ne palat kar Nabi SAW se pucha kya aap mere rasool hone ki gawahi dete hain? Nabi SAW ne farmaya ke maine tere liye apne zehn mein ek baat sochi hai, bata wo kya hai? Us ne kaha "Dukh" Nabi SAW ne farmaya door ho, tu apne maqam se hargiz aage nahi barh sakta.
Abu Sa'eed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Hasan and Husayn (may Allah be pleased with them) are the leaders of the youth of Paradise.

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا حسن و حسین رضی اللہ عنہ نوجوانانِ جنت کے سردار ہیں۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri Razi Allahu Anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya Hasan o Husain Razi Allahu Anhuma naujawan e jannat ke sardar hain.
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that we received captives at the time of the Battle of Hunayn, we used to practice azl (coitus interruptus) with them, we wanted to release them for ransom, we said to each other that you do this even in the presence of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), so I asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about azl. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, 'Do whatever you wish, what Allah has decreed will happen, and not every drop of water produces a child.'
Then we passed by some Indians who were cooking, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked us, 'What is this meat?' We said, 'Donkey meat.' The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked, 'Domesticated or wild?' We replied, 'Domesticated donkeys.' The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, 'Turn these pots over,' so we turned them over, even though we were hungry at that time and were feeling the urge to eat.
And we were commanded to tie the mouths of our waterskins.

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ہمیں غزوہ حنین کے موقع پر قیدی ملے، ہم ان سے عزل کرتے تھے، ہم چاہتے تھے کہ انہیں فدیہ لے کر چھوڑ دیں، ہم نے ایک دوسرے سے کہا کہ نبی ﷺ کی موجودگی میں بھی تم یہ کام کرتے ہو، اس لئے میں نے نبی ﷺ سے عزل کے متعلق سوال پوچھا، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا تم جو مرضی کرلو، اللہ نے جو فیصلہ فرما لیا ہے وہ ہو کر رہے گا اور پانی کے ہر قطرے سے بچہ پیدا نہیں ہوتا۔
پھر ہمارا گذر کچھ ہنڈیوں پر ہوا جو ابل رہی تھیں، نبی ﷺ نے ہم سے پوچھا کہ یہ کیا گوشت ہے؟ ہم نے عرض کیا گدھوں کا، نبی ﷺ نے پوچھا پالتو یا جنگلی؟ ہم نے عرض کیا پالتو گدھوں کا، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا یہ ہانڈیاں الٹ دو، چنانچہ ہم نے انہیں الٹا دیا، حالانکہ ہمیں اس وقت بھوک لگی ہوئی تھی اور کھانے کی طلب محسوس ہور ہی تھی۔
اور ہمیں مشکیزوں کا منہ بند رکھنے کا حکم دیا جاتا تھا۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri Razi Allah Anhu se marvi hai ki hamen ghazwa hunain ke mauqe par qaidey mile, hum un se azal karte thay, hum chahte thay ki unhen fidya le kar chhor dein, hum ne ek dusre se kaha ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki mojoodgi mein bhi tum ye kaam karte ho, is liye maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se azal ke mutaliq sawal poocha, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya tum jo marzi kar lo, Allah ne jo faisla farma liya hai wo ho kar rahe ga aur pani ke har qatre se bachcha paida nahin hota.
Phir hamara guzar kuch handiyon par hua jo abal rahi thin, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne hum se poocha ki ye kya gosht hai? Hum ne arz kiya gadhon ka, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne poocha paltu ya jungli? Hum ne arz kiya paltu gadhon ka, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ye handiyan ulat do, chunancha hum ne unhen ulta diya, halanki hamen us waqt bhook lagi hui thi aur khane ki talab mehsoos ho rahi thi.
Aur hamen mashkizon ka munh band rakhne ka hukum diya jata tha.
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: My Ummah (nation) will be divided into two factions and between these two, there will emerge a group, which will be killed by the faction closer to the truth among the two.

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا میری امت دو فرقوں میں بٹ جائے گی اور ان دونوں کے درمیان ایک گروہ نکلے گا جسے ان دو فرقوں میں سے حق کے زیادہ قریب فرقہ قتل کرے گا۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri razi Allah anhu se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya meri ummat do firkon mein bat jayegi aur in donon ke darmiyaan ek giroh niklega jise in do firkon mein se haq ke zyada qareeb firqa qatal karega.
Abu Ubaid (may Allah have mercy on him) said: “One time I saw Ata’ bin Yazid al-Laythi (may Allah have mercy on him) standing in prayer. He was wearing a black turban with one end hanging down his back, and his beard was turning yellow. As I was about to pass in front of him, he stopped me. After the prayer, he said: Abu Sa’id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated to me that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood up to lead the Fajr prayer one day. Abu Sa’id was also standing behind the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). During the prayer, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) became engrossed in the recitation (of the Quran). After finishing the prayer, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: ‘If you could see, I would have caught Iblis and started to choke him to the point where I could feel the coolness of his saliva between these two fingers of mine’ – and he pointed to his thumb and index finger. ‘If it were not for the supplication of my brother, Sulayman (Solomon, peace be upon him), he would have been tied to one of the pillars of this mosque, and the children of Medina would have played with him. So whoever among you has the strength that nothing comes between him and the qibla should do likewise.’”

ابوعبید رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نے عطاء بن یزید لیثی رحمہ اللہ کو دیکھا کہ وہ کھڑے ہو کر نماز پڑھ رہے ہیں، انہوں نے سیاہ رنگ کا عمامہ باندھا ہوا تھا اور اس کا ایک کنارہ پیچھے لٹکا ہوا تھا اور ان کی ڈاڑھی زرد ہو رہی تھی۔ میں ان کے آگے سے گذرنے لگا تو انہوں نے مجھے روک دیا، پھر نماز کے بعد کہنے لگے کہ مجھ سے حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ نے یہ حدیث بیان فرمائی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ ایک دن نماز فجر پڑھانے کے لئے کھڑے ہوئے، وہ بھی نبی ﷺ کے پیچھے کھڑے تھے، نماز میں نبی ﷺ پر قرأت میں التباس ہوگیا، نماز سے فارغ ہونے کے بعد نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا اگر تم دیکھ سکتے تو میں نے ہاتھ بڑھا کر ابلیس کو پکڑ لیا تھا اور میں نے اس کا گلا گھونٹنا شروع کردیا تھا، حتیٰ کہ اس کے منہ سے نکلنے والے تھوک کی ٹھنڈک مجھے اپنی ان دو انگلیوں،" انگوٹھا اور ساتھ والی انگلی " کے درمیان محسوس ہونے لگی، اگر میرے بھائی حضرت سلیمان علیہ السلام کی دعاء نہ ہوتی تو وہ اس مسجد کے کسی ستون کے ساتھ بندھا ہوتا اور مدینہ کے بچے اس کے ساتھ کھیلتے، اس لئے تم میں سے جس شخص میں اس چیز کی طاقت ہو کہ اس کے اور قبلہ کے درمیان کوئی چیز حائل نہ ہو تو اسے ایسا ہی کرنا چاہئے۔
Abu Ubaid Rahmatullah Alaih kehte hain ki ek martaba maine Ata bin Yazeed Laisi Rahmatullah Alaih ko dekha ki woh kharay ho kar namaz parh rahe hain, unhon ne siyah rang ka amama bandha hua tha aur us ka ek kinara peeche latka hua tha aur un ki darhi zard ho rahi thi. Main un ke aage se guzarne laga to unhon ne mujhe rok diya, phir namaz ke baad kehne lage ki mujh se Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne yeh hadees bayan farmaai hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ek din namaz fajr parhane ke liye kharay huye, woh bhi Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke peeche kharay thay, namaz mein Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) par qirat mein iltebas ho gaya, namaz se farigh hone ke baad Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya agar tum dekh sakte to maine hath badha kar Iblees ko pakad liya tha aur maine us ka gala ghontna shuru kar diya tha, hatta ki us ke munh se nikalne wale thook ki thandak mujhe apni in do ungliyon, "angutha aur sath wali ungli" ke darmiyan mehsoos hone lagi, agar mere bhai Hazrat Sulaiman Alaihissalam ki dua na hoti to woh is masjid ke kisi satoon ke sath bandha hota aur Madina ke bache us ke sath khelte, is liye tum mein se jis shaks mein is cheez ki taqat ho ki us ke aur qibla ke darmiyan koi cheez hail na ho to use aisa hi karna chahiye.
Narrated by Yahya bin Abi Bukayr, who said: Mindal bin Ali narrated to me, who said: Al-A'mash narrated to me, from Sa'd al-Tai, from Atiyyah, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Five types of people will not enter Paradise: the habitual drunkard, the believer in magic, the one who severs family ties, the soothsayer, and the one who boasts."
11781/2: Narrated by Abu al-Jawab, who said: Ammar bin Ruzayq narrated to us, from Al-A'mash, from Sa'd al-Tai, from Atiyyah, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Five types of people will not enter Paradise: the habitual drunkard, the believer in magic, the one who severs family ties, the boaster, and the soothsayer."
یحییٰ بن ابی بکر نے روایت کیا، جنہوں نے مندل بن علی سے سنا، جنہوں نے کہا: الاعمش نے مجھے بتایا، سعد الطائی سے، عطیہ سے، ابو سعید خدری سے، جنہوں نے کہا: رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: "پانچ قسم کے لوگ جنت میں نہیں جائیں گے: نشہ کرنے والا، جادو پر ایمان رکھنے والا، قطع رحمی کرنے والا، کاہن، اور ماننے والا۔"
11781/2: ابو الجواب نے روایت کی، جنہوں نے عمار بن رزیق سے سنا، جنہوں نے کہا: الاعمش نے ہمیں بتایا، سعد الطائی سے، عطیہ سے، ابو سعید خدری سے، جنہوں نے کہا: رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: "پانچ قسم کے لوگ جنت میں نہیں جائیں گے: نشہ کرنے والا، جادو پر ایمان رکھنے والا، قطع رحمی کرنے والا، ماننے والا، اور کاہن۔"
Yahya bin Abi Bukayr ne riwayat kiya, jo kehte hain: Mindal bin Ali ne mujhe bataya, jo kehte hain: Al-A'mash ne mujhe bataya, Sa'd al-Tai se, Atiyyah se, Abu Sa'id al-Khudri se, jo kehte hain: Rasool Allah ﷺ ne kaha: "Paanch qisam ke log Jannat mein nahi jayenge: Aadi sharabi, jadoo par iman rakhne wala, qata-e-rahmi karne wala, kaahin, aur maan'nay wala."
11781/2: Abu al-Jawab ne riwayat ki, jo kehte hain: Ammar bin Ruzayq ne humein bataya, jo kehte hain: Al-A'mash ne humein bataya, Sa'd al-Tai se, Atiyyah se, Abu Sa'id al-Khudri se, jo kehte hain: Rasool Allah ﷺ ne kaha: "Paanch qisam ke log Jannat mein nahi jayenge: Aadi sharabi, jadoo par iman rakhne wala, qata-e-rahmi karne wala, maan'nay wala, aur kaahin."
Narrated Abu Sa'id al-Khudri: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When any one of you is praying and doubts whether he has prayed three or four rak'ahs, he should discard the doubt and build on what he is sure of, then perform two prostrations of Sahu while sitting. If he has offered five rak'ahs, these two will make it even. If he has offered the prayer correctly, these two will be a humiliation for Satan."

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا جب تم میں سے کوئی شخص نماز پڑھ رہا ہوں اور اسے یاد نہ رہے کہ اس نے کتنی رکعتیں پڑھی ہیں تو اسے چاہئے کہ یقین پر بناء کرلے اور اس کے بعد بیٹھے بیٹھے سہو کے دو سجدے کرلے کیونکہ اگر اس کی نماز طاق ہوگئی تو جفت ہوجائے گی اور اگر جفت ہوئی تو شیطان کی رسوائی ہوگی۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri Razi Allah Anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya jab tum mein se koi shakhs namaz parh raha ho aur usay yaad na rahe ki usne kitni rakaten parhi hain to usay chahiye ki yaqeen par bana kar le aur uske baad baithe baithe sahu ke do sajde kar le kyunki agar uski namaz taq hogayi to juft hojayegi aur agar juft hui to shaitan ki ruswai hogi.
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Al-Wasila" is the name of a rank in the sight of Allah, above which there is no rank, so you should ask Allah for Al-Wasila for me.

حضرت ابوسعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا " وسیلہ " اللہ کے یہاں ایک درجے کا نام ہے جس سے اوپر کوئی درجہ نہیں ہے، سو تم اللہ سے میرے لئے وسیلہ کی دعا کیا کرو۔
Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya "Wasila" Allah ke yahan ek darje ka naam hai jisse upar koi darja nahi hai, so tum Allah se mere liye wasila ki dua kiya karo.
Abu Sa'eed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The entire earth has been made a place of prayer and a means of purification for me, except for graveyards and bathrooms."
