Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 25959
Umm al-Mumineen Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the revelation began to descend upon the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) first in the form of true dreams. Every dream that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw would come true just like the bright morning. After that, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) became fond of solitude and started going to the Cave of Hira for seclusion. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would stay there for many days engaged in worship. During that time, he would not come home at all, but when the food and drink would run out, he would take as many days' worth of food and go. Finally, in that very Cave of Hira, the revelation came down. An angel came and said to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), "Read!" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "I do not know how to read." (The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said,) "Hearing this, the angel grabbed me and pressed me so hard that I became powerless. Then the angel released me and said, 'Read!' I said, 'I do not know how to read.' He grabbed me again and pressed me so hard that I had no strength left. Then he released me and said, 'Read!' I said, 'I do not know how to read.' The third time, he pressed me so hard that I was helpless, and finally, he released me and said, 'Read! Read in the name of your Lord who created (everything) - created man from a clinging clot. Read and your Lord is the Most Generous.'" (Umm al-Mumineen narrates,) "You came home reciting this, and your heart was pounding. So you reached Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her) and said, 'Cover me with a blanket.' Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her) covered you with a cloth. When your restlessness subsided and your heart was at peace, you narrated the whole incident to Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her) and said, 'I fear for my life.' Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her) said, 'By Allah! This can never be. You should not worry at all. Allah Almighty will never forsake you because you are kind to your brother, you help the needy, you do the work of the weak, you are hospitable, and you help people in their legitimate needs.'" After that, Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her) took the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to Waraqah bin Nawfal. Waraqah had embraced Christianity in the pre-Islamic period and used to translate the Bible (from Syriac) into Hebrew. He was very old and blind as well. Khadija (may Allah be pleased with her) approached him and said, 'O cousin, listen to the condition of your nephew!' Waraqah said, 'Why, nephew, what is the matter?' You narrated to Waraqah what you had seen. When Waraqah heard everything from the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), he said, 'This angel is the same angel of revelation whom Allah Almighty sent down to Moses (peace be upon him). I wish I were young in the time of prophethood! I wish I were alive at the time when your people will expel you (from your homeland).' The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, 'Will these people expel me?' Waraqah said, 'Yes! Whoever has brought the religion of Allah like you has been met with hostility. If I were present during your prophethood, I would have helped you a lot.' But after a few days, Waraqah passed away, and the chain of revelation was interrupted. Due to the break in revelation, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) became so disheartened that he intended to throw himself down from the mountain tops several times. But whenever he would reach the top of a mountain with this intention, Jibrael (peace be upon him) would appear before him and say, 'O Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)! You are the true Messenger of Allah.' Hearing this, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would calm down, his heart would find peace, and he would return. Then, when a long time would pass, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would do the same, and Jibrael (peace be upon him) would console him.

ام المومنین حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا فرماتی ہیں کہ حضور ﷺ پر اول سچی خوابوں سے وحی کا نزول شروع ہوا، آپ ﷺ جو خواب دیکھتے وہ بالکل صبح روشن کی طرح ٹھیک پڑتا تھا۔ اس کے بعد حضور ﷺ خلوت پسند ہوگئے تھے اور غار حرا میں جا کر گوشہ گیری اختیار کرلی، آپ ﷺ کئی کئی روز تک وہیں پر عبادت میں مشغول رہتے تھے، اسی اثناء میں گھر پر بالکل نہ آتے تھے لیکن جس وقت کھانے پینے کا سامان ختم ہوجاتا تھا تو پھر اتنے ہی دنوں کا کھانا لے کر چلتے تھے، آخر کار اسی غار حرا میں نزول وحی ہوا۔ ایک فرشتہ نے آکر حضور ﷺ سے کہا پڑھئے! آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا میں پڑھا ہوا نہیں ہوں (رسول اللہ ﷺ فرماتے ہیں) یہ سن کر اس فرشتہ نے مجھ کو پکڑ کر اتنا دبایا کہ میں بےطاقت ہوگیا، پھر اس فرشتہ نے مجھ کو چھوڑ کر کہا پڑھئے! میں نے کہا میں تو پڑھا ہوا نہیں ہوں، اس نے دوبارہ مجھ کو پکڑ کر اس قدر دبوچا کہ مجھ میں طاقت نہیں رہی اور پھر چھوڑ کر مجھ سے کہا پڑھئے میں نے کہا کہ میں پڑھا ہوا نہیں ہوں۔ تیسری بار اس نے مجھ کو اس قدر زور سے دبایا کہ میں بےبس ہوگیا اور آخر کار مجھ کو چھوڑ کر کہا! کہ " پڑھ " اپنے رب کے نام کی برکت سے جس نے (ہر شئ کو) پیدا کیا (اور) انسان کو خون کی پھٹکی سے بنایا پڑھ اور تیرا رب بڑے کرم والا ہے "۔ (ام المومنین فرماتی ہیں) آپ یہ بات پڑھتے ہوئے گھر تشریف لائے تو اس وقت آپ کا دل دھڑک رہا تھا، چنانچہ حضرت خدیجہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس پہنچ کر آپ نے فرمایا مجھے کمبل اڑھاؤ۔ حضرت خدیجہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے آپ کو کپڑا اوڑھایا، جب آپ کی بےقراری دور ہوئی اور دل ٹھکانے ہوا تو ساری کیفیت خدیجہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے بیان فرمائی اور فرمایا کہ مجھے اپنی جان کا خوف ہے۔ حضرت خدیجہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے عرض کیا اللہ کی قسم! یہ ہرگز نہیں ہوسکتا، آپ کو بالکل فکر نہ کرنی چاہیے، خدائے تعالیٰ آپ کو ضائع نہ کرے گا کیونکہ آپ تو برادر پرور ہیں محتاجوں کی مدد کرتے ہیں، کمزوروں کا کام کرتے ہیں، مہمان نوازی فرماتے ہیں اور جائز ضرورتوں میں لوگوں کے کام آتے ہیں۔ اس کے بعد حضرت خدیجہ رضی اللہ عنہ حضور ﷺ کو ورقہ بن نوفل کے پاس لے گئیں۔ ورقہ نے دور جاہلیت میں عیسائی مذہب اختیار کرلیا تھا اور انجیل کا (سریانی زبان سے) عبرانی میں ترجمہ کر کے لکھا کرتے تھے، بہت ضعیف العمر اور نابینا بھی تھے، حضرت خدیجہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے اس کے پاس پہنچ کر کہا ابن عم ذرا اپنے بھتیجے کی حالت تو سنئے! ورقہ بولا کیوں بھتیجے کیا کیفیت ہے؟ آپ نے جو کچھ دیکھا تھا ورقہ سے بیان کردیا جب ورقہ حضور ﷺ سے سب حال سن چکے تو بولے یہ فرشتہ وہی ناموس ہے، جس کو خدائے تعالیٰ نے موسیٰ علیہ السلام پر نازل فرمایا تھا کاش! میں عہد نبوت میں جوان ہوتا کاش! میں اس زمانہ میں زندہ ہوتا جب کہ آپ کو قوم والے (وطن سے) نکالیں گے، حضور ﷺ نے فرمایا کیا یہ لوگ مجھے نکال دیں گے؟ ورقہ بولے جی ہاں! جو شخص بھی آپ کی طرح دین الٰہی لایا ہے اس سے عداوت کی گئی ہے، اگر میں آپ کے عہد نبوت میں موجود ہوا تو کافی امداد کروں گا، لیکن اس کے کچھ ہی دنوں بعد ورقہ کا انتقال ہوگیا اور سلسلہ وحی بند گیا، فترتِ وحی کی وجہ سے نبی ﷺ اتنے دل گرفتہ ہوئے کہ کئی مرتبہ پہاڑ کی چوٹیوں سے اپنے آپ کو نیچے گرانے کا ارادہ کیا، لیکن جب بھی وہ اس ارادے سے کسی پہاڑی کی چوٹی پر پہنچتے تو حضرت جبرائیل علیہ السلام سامنے آجاتے اور عرض کرتے اے محمد ﷺ ! آپ اللہ کے برحق رسول ہیں، اسے سے نبی ﷺ کا جوش ٹھنڈا اور دل پر سکون ہوجاتا تھا اور وہ واپس آجاتے، پھر جب زیادہ عرصہ گذر جاتا تو نبی ﷺ پھر اسی طرح کرتے اور حضرت جبرائیل علیہ السلام انہیں تسلی دیتے تھے۔
Umm ul momineen Hazrat Aisha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) farmati hain keh Huzoor (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) per awwal sachi khwabon se wahi ka nuzool shuru huwa, Aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) jo khwab dekhte woh bilkul subah roshan ki tarah theek parhta tha. Iss ke baad Huzoor (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) khalwat pasand ho gaye the aur Ghar Hira mein ja kar gosha giri ikhtiyar karli, Aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) kai kai roz tak wahin per ibadat mein mashgool rehte the, isi asna mein ghar per bilkul na aate the lekin jis waqt khane peene ka saman khatam hojata tha to phir utne hi dinon ka khana lekar chalte the, aakhirkaar isi Ghar Hira mein nuzool e wahi huwa. Ek firishta ne aakar Huzoor (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se kaha parhiye! Aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya mein parha huwa nahin hun (Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) farmate hain) yeh sun kar iss firishta ne mujhe pakar kar itna dabaya keh mein betaqat hogaya, phir iss firishta ne mujhe chhor kar kaha parhiye! Mein ne kaha mein to parha huwa nahin hun, iss ne dobara mujhe pakar kar iss kadar dabocha keh mujh mein taqat nahin rahi aur phir chhor kar mujhse kaha parhiye mein ne kaha keh mein parha huwa nahin hun. Teesri baar iss ne mujhe iss kadar zor se dabaya keh mein bebas hogaya aur aakhirkaar mujhe chhor kar kaha! keh "Parh" apne Rabb ke naam ki barkat se jis ne (har shai ko) paida kiya (aur) insaan ko khoon ki phatki se banaya Parh aur tera Rabb bade karam wala hai". (Umm ul momineen farmati hain) Aap yeh baat parhte hue ghar tashreef laye to iss waqt Aap ka dil dharak raha tha, chunancha Hazrat Khadija ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) ke paas pahunch kar Aap ne farmaya mujhe kambal orhao. Hazrat Khadija ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) ne Aap ko kapra orhaya, jab Aap ki bechaini door hui aur dil thikane huwa to sari kaifiyat Khadija ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se bayan farmai aur farmaya keh mujhe apni jaan ka khauf hai. Hazrat Khadija ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) ne arz kiya Allah ki qasam! Yeh hargiz nahin hosakta, Aap ko bilkul fikr na karni chahiye, Khudae ta'ala Aap ko zaya na karega kyunki Aap to biradar parwar hain mohtajon ki madad karte hain, kamzoron ka kaam karte hain, mehmaan nawazi farmate hain aur jayaz zarooraton mein logon ke kaam aate hain. Iss ke baad Hazrat Khadija ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) Huzoor (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko Warqa bin Naufil ke paas le gayin. Warqa ne door jahiliyat mein eesai mazhab ikhtiyar karliya tha aur Injeel ka (Suryaani zabaan se) Ibrani mein tarjuma kar ke likha karte the, bahut zaeef ul umar aur nabina bhi the, Hazrat Khadija ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) ne iss ke paas pahunch kar kaha ibn e am zara apne bhateeje ki haalat to suniye! Warqa bola kyun bhateeje kya kaifiyat hai? Aap ne jo kuchh dekha tha Warqa se bayan kardiya jab Warqa Huzoor (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se sab haal sun chuke to bole yeh firishta wohi namoos hai, jisko Khudae ta'ala ne Musa alaihissalam per nazil farmaya tha kash! Mein ahd e nubawwat mein jawan hota kash! Mein iss zamaane mein zinda hota jab keh Aap ko qaum wale (watan se) nikalen ge, Huzoor (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya kya yeh log mujhe nikal denge? Warqa bole ji haan! Jo shakhs bhi Aap ki tarah deen e ilahi laya hai uss se adawat ki gayi hai, agar mein Aap ke ahd e nubawwat mein mojood huwa to kaafi imdaad karunga, lekin iss ke kuchh hi dinon baad Warqa ka inteqal hogaya aur silsila e wahi band gaya, fitrat e wahi ki wajah se Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) itne dil girifta hue keh kai martaba pahad ki chotiyon se apne aap ko neeche girane ka irada kiya, lekin jab bhi woh iss irade se kisi pahadi ki choti per pahuchte to Hazrat Jibraeel alaihissalam samne aate aur arz karte aye Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)! Aap Allah ke bar haq Rasool hain, isse se Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ka josh thanda aur dil per sakoon hojata tha aur woh wapas aate, phir jab zyada arsa guzar jata to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) phir usi tarah karte aur Hazrat Jibraeel alaihissalam unhen tasalli dete the.
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once, on the day of Eid, some Abyssinians were performing acrobatics in front of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). I leaned my head on the shoulder of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and started peeking at them. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) lowered his shoulder for me. I kept watching them, and when I was satisfied, I came back.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ عید کے دن نبی ﷺ کے سامنے کچھ حبشی کرتب دکھا رہے تھے، میں نبی ﷺ کے کندھے پر سر رکھ کر انہیں جھانک کر دیکھنے لگی تو نبی ﷺ نے اپنے کندھے میرے لئے جھکا دیئے، میں انہیں دیکھتی رہی اور جب دل بھر گیا تو واپس آگئی۔
Hazrat Ayesha raziallahu anha se marvi hai ki ek martaba Eid ke din Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke samne kuch Habshi kartab dikha rahe the, main Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke kandhe par sar rakh kar unhen jhank kar dekhne lagi to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne apne kandhe mere liye jhuka diye, main unhen dekhti rahi aur jab dil bhar gaya to wapas aa gayi.
Narrated Aisha: I used to play with dolls in the presence of the Prophet, and my girlfriends also used to play with me.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ میں گڑیوں کے ساتھ کھیلتی تھی، نبی ﷺ میری سہلیوں کو میرے پاس بھیج دیتے اور وہ میرے ساتھ کھیلنے لگتیں۔
Hazrat Ayesha raziallahu anha se marvi hai keh mein gudiyon ke sath khelti thi, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) meri sahliyon ko mere pass bhej dete aur wo mere sath khelne lagteen.
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha Radi Allahu Anha that one day Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him said, "The Jews should know that there is great breadth in our religion and I have been sent with the pure Hanif religion."

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ ایک دن نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا یہودیوں کو جان لینا چاہیے کہ ہمارے دین میں بڑی گنجائش ہے اور مجھے خالص ملت حنیفی بھیجا گیا ہے۔
Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki ek din Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya Yahodion ko jaan lena chahie ki humare deen mein badi gunjaish hai aur mujhe khalis millat hanifi bheja gaya hai.
Narrated Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, whenever he performed a prayer, he would prolong it. And the most beloved prayer to him was the one in which he prolonged, even if it was short in quantity. And he said: Allah will not become bored, but you will definitely become bored.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ جب کوئی نماز پڑھتے تو اس پر دوام بھی فرماتے تھے اور انہیں سب سے زیادہ پسند بھی وہی نماز تھی جس پر دوام ہو، اگرچہ اس کی مقدار تھوڑی ہو اور فرماتے تھے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ تو نہیں اکتائے گا البتہ تم ضرور اکتا جاؤ گے۔
Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) jab koi namaz parhte to us par dawaam bhi farmate thay aur unhen sab se ziada pasand bhi wohi namaz thi jis par dawaam ho, agarcheh us ki miqdar thori ho aur farmate thay ki Allah Taala to nahin uktaye ga albatta tum zaroor ukta jao ge.
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) fasting frequently in Shaban, but I did not see him fasting in any other month, except for a few days, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to fast almost the entire month of Shaban.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے کثرت کے ساتھ نبی ﷺ کو شعبان میں روزے رکھتے ہوئے دیکھا ہے، کسی اور مہینے میں نہیں دیکھا، نبی ﷺ اس کے صرف چند دن کو چھوڑ کر تقریباً پورا مہینہ ہی روزہ رکھتے تھے۔
Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allaho Anha se marvi hai keh maine kasrat ke sath Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ko Shaban mein rozy rakhte hue dekha hai, kisi aur mahine mein nahi dekha, Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam is ke sirf chand din ko chhor kar taqreeban poora mahina hi roza rakhte thay.
Narrated Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her: When we reached the place of Hasbah (after performing the Hajj rituals) and were ready to depart, I said, "O Messenger of Allah! Your companions are returning having performed both Hajj and 'Umrah, while I am returning after performing only Hajj." The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, sent my brother with me, and I performed 'Umrah. Then I met the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, at night while he was ascending to the upper part of Makkah, and I was descending.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ ہم لوگ مناسک حج ادا کر کے جب کوچ کرنے کے لئے مقام حصبہ پر پہنچے تو میں نے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ! کیا آپ کے صحابہ حج اور عمرہ دونوں کے ساتھ اور میں صرف حج کے ساتھ واپس جاؤں گی؟ نبی ﷺ نے میرے ساتھ میرے بھائی کو بھیج دیا اور میں نے عمرہ کرلیا، پھر میں نبی ﷺ سے رات کے وقت ملی جبکہ نبی ﷺ مکہ مکرمہ کے بالائی حصے پر چڑھ رہے تھے اور میں نیچے اتر رہی تھی۔
Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allah Anha se marvi hai ki hum log manasik Hajj ada kar ke jab coach karne ke liye maqam Hasba par pahunche to maine arz kiya Ya Rasul Allah! kya aap ke sahaba Hajj aur Umrah dono ke saath aur main sirf Hajj ke saath wapas jaungi? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mere saath mere bhai ko bhej diya aur maine Umrah karliya, phir main Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se raat ke waqt mili jabke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Makkah Mukarrama ke balai hisse par charh rahe the aur main neeche utar rahi thi.
It is narrated on the authority of Ayesha Radi Allahu Anha that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to kiss her while he was fasting and would suck her tongue.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ روزے کی حالت میں انہیں بوسہ دیا کرتے تھے اور ان کی زبان چوس لیا کرتے تھے۔
Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allaho Anha se marvi hai ke Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam rozy ki halat mein unhein bosa diya karte thy aur un ki zuban chos liya karte thy.
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha Radi Allahu Anha that initially two rak'ahs of prayer were obligatory. Later, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), in accordance with the divine command, increased the number of rak'ahs in the prayer offered at home (when not traveling) but kept the prayer offered during travel limited to two rak'ahs.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ ابتداء نماز کی دو رکعتیں فرض ہوئی تھیں، بعد میں نبی ﷺ نے حکم الٰہی کے مطابق حضر کی نماز میں اضافہ کردیا اور سفر کی نماز کو اسی حالت پر دو رکعتیں ہی رہنے دیا۔
Hazrat Ayesha razi Allah anha se marvi hai ke ibtida namaz ki do rakaten farz hui thin, bad mein Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne hukm ilahi ke mutabiq hazar ki namaz mein izafa kar diya aur safar ki namaz ko isi halat par do rakaten hi rahne diya.
It was narrated from Aisha that: I used to play with dolls, and my friends would come and join me in my play. When they saw the Prophet (ﷺ) coming, they would hide themselves, but the Prophet (ﷺ) would call them to come and play with me.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ میں گڑیوں کے ساتھ کھیلتی تھی، میری سہیلیاں آجاتیں اور میرے ساتھ کھیل کود میں شریک ہوجاتیں اور جوں ہی وہ نبی ﷺ کو آتے ہوئے دیکھتیں تو چھپ جاتیں، نبی ﷺ انہیں پھر میرے پاس بھیج دیتے اور وہ میرے ساتھ کھیلنے لگتیں۔
Hazrat Aisha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai keh mein gudiyon ke sath khelti thi meri sahiliyan ajaati aur mere sath khel kood mein shareek hojaati aur jo hi wo Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko aate huye dekhti to chhup jaati Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) unhe phir mere pas bhej dete aur wo mere sath khelne lagti.
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that a woman came to her and said: My daughter has recently been married, she has fallen ill and her hair is falling out, can I have other hair attached to her head? She said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) has cursed both the woman who attaches hair and the one who has it attached.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ ایک عورت ان کے پاس آئی اور کہنے لگی کہ میری بیٹی کی نئی نئی شادی ہوئی ہے، یہ بیمار ہوگئی ہے اور اس کے سر کے بال جھڑ رہے ہیں، کیا میں اس کے سر پر دوسرے بال لگوا سکتی ہوں؟ انہوں نے فرمایا کہ نبی ﷺ نے بال لگانے والی اور لگوانے والی دونوں پر لعنت فرمائی ہے۔
Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki aik aurat un ke paas aai aur kehne lagi ki meri beti ki nayi nayi shadi hui hai, yeh bimar hogayi hai aur is ke sar ke baal jhad rahe hain, kya main is ke sar par dusre baal lagwa sakti hun? Unhon ne farmaya ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne baal lagane wali aur lagwane wali dono par laanat farmai hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha Radi Allahu Anha that when the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to perform ablution, he would also pass his fingers through his beard.

Narrated Aisha (RA): Sometimes the Prophet (PBUH) would be praying in the house with the door closed. I would come, and he (PBUH) would walk, open the door for me, then go back to his place and stand. Aisha (RA) also mentioned that the door was facing the Qibla.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ بعض اوقات گھر میں نماز پڑھ رہے ہوتے تھے اور دروازہ بند ہوتا تھا، میں آجاتی تو نبی ﷺ چلتے ہوئے آتے، میرے لئے دروازہ کھولتے اور پھر اپنی جگہ پر جا کر کھڑے ہوجاتے اور حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے یہ بھی بتایا کہ دروازہ قبلہ کی جانب تھا۔
Hazrat Aisha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) baaz auqat ghar mein namaz parh rahe hote thay aur darwaza band hota tha, main aajati tou Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) chalte huye aate, mere liye darwaza kholte aur phir apni jaga par ja kar kharay hojate aur Hazrat Aisha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) ne ye bhi bataya ki darwaza qibla ki jaanib tha.
Narrated Aisha: The Prophet (ﷺ) used to practice Itikaf and would put his head out of the mosque for me to comb his hair, though I was in my periods (menses).

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ معتکف ہوتے اور مسجد سے اپنا سر باہر نکال دیتے، میں اسے کنگھی کردیتی حلان کہ میں ایام سے ہوتی تھی۔
Hazrat Ayesha raziallahu anha se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) itikaf hote aur masjid se apna sar bahar nikal dete, main ise kanghi kar deti halan ki main ayam se hoti thi.
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha Radi Allahu Anha that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to perform ablution (wudu) with one Mudd of water and take a bath (ghusl) with one Sa' of water.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ ایک مد کے قریب پانی سے وضو فرما لیتے تھے اور صاع کے قریب پانی سے غسل فرما لیتے تھے۔
Hazrat Ayesha razi Allah tala anha se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) aik mud ke qareeb pani se wuzu farma lete thay aur sa'a ke qareeb pani se ghusl farma lete thay.
Narrated Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her: The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to perform ablution with one Mudd of water and take a bath with one Sa' of water.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ ایک مد کے قریب پانی سے وضو فرما لیتے تھے اور ایک صاع کے قریب پانی سے غسل فرما لیتے تھے۔
Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) aik mud ke qareeb pani se wazu farma lete thay aur aik saa ke qareeb pani se gusl farma lete thay.
Muhammad bin Ali said that Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) used to borrow from people. Someone asked her, "Why do you borrow?" She replied, "I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say that whoever intends to repay a loan, Allah Almighty's help remains with him. I want to attain that help."

محمد بن علی کہتے ہیں کہ حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا لوگوں سے قرض لیتی رہتی تھیں، کسی نے ان سے پوچھا کہ آپ قرض کیوں لیتی ہیں؟ انہوں نے فرمایا کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے جس شخص کی نیت قرض ادا کرنے کی ہو تو اللہ تعالیٰ کی مدد اس کے شامل حال رہتی ہے، میں وہی مدد حاصل کرنا چاہتی ہوں۔
Muhammad bin Ali kehte hain ki Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) logon se qarz leti rehti thin, kisi ne un se pucha ki aap qarz kyon leti hain? Unhon ne farmaya ki maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai jis shakhs ki niyat qarz ada karne ki ho to Allah Taala ki madad us ke shamil hal rehti hai, main wohi madad hasil karna chahti hun.
It is narrated on the authority of Ayesha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade from the wine of a jar.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے مٹکے کی نبیذ سے منع فرمایا ہے۔
Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne matke ki nabidh se mana farmaya hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha (RA) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would sit after finishing the prayer only long enough to say: "O Allah, You are free from all imperfections and deficiencies; all peace and security comes from You. O Possessor of majesty and honor, You are full of blessings".

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نماز سے فارغ ہو کر صرف اتنی دیر بیٹھتے تھے جتنی دیر میں یہ کہہ سکیں اے اللہ! تو ہی سلامتی والا ہے، تجھ سے سلامتی ملتی ہے، اے بزرگی اور عزت والے! تو بہت بابرکت ہے۔
Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) namaz se farigh hokar sirf itni der baithte thy jitni der mein ye keh sakin aye Allah! Tu hi salamti wala hai, tujh se salamti milti hai, aye bazurgi aur izzat wale! Tu bahut babarkat hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha (May Allah be pleased with her) that if the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) wished to be intimate with any of his wives and she was menstruating, he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would be intimate with his wives over a lower garment. And when he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) wanted to sleep while in a state of requiring Ghusl (ritual bath), he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would perform Wudu (ablution) like that for prayer.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ اگر ہم میں سے کسی سے مباشرت کرنا چاہتے اور وہ ایام کی حالت میں ہوتیں تو نبی ﷺ تہبند کے اوپر سے اپنی ازواج سے مباشرت فرمایا کرتے تھے اور جب وجوبِ غسل کی حالت میں سونا چاہتے تو نماز جیسا وضو فرما لیتے تھے۔
Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allaho Anha se marvi hai ki Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam agar hum mein se kisi se mubashrat karna chahte aur wo ayyam ki halat mein hoti tou Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam tehband ke upar se apni azwaj se mubashrat farmaya karte thay aur jab wajoob e ghusl ki halat mein sona chahte tou namaz jaisa wuzu farma lete thay.
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that she and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to take a bath from the same vessel of water after sexual intercourse.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ میں اور نبی ﷺ ایک ہی برتن کے پانی سے غسل جنابت کرلیا کرتے تھے۔
Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allaho Anha se marvi hai keh mein aur Nabi Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ek hi bartan ke pani se gusl janabat kar liya karte thay.
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that if the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had seen the condition of women today, he would have definitely forbidden them from coming to mosques, just as the women of Bani Israel were forbidden.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ اگر آج کی عورتوں کے حالات دیکھ لیتے تو انہیں ضرور مسجدوں میں آنے سے منع فرما دیتے جیسے بنی اسرائیل کی عورتوں کو منع کردیا گیا تھا۔
Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) agar aaj ki aurton ke halat dekh lete to unhen zaroor masjidon mein aane se mana farma dete jaise Bani Israel ki aurton ko mana kar diya gaya tha.
It is narrated on the authority of Hazrat Aisha Radi Allahu Anha that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to pray (the two Sunnah Rak'ah of Fajr) so briefly that I would wonder "Did the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) even recite Surah Fatiha?".

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ (فجر کی سنتیں) اتنی مختصر پڑھتے تھے کہ میں کہتی " نبی ﷺ نے سورت فاتحہ بھی پڑھی ہے یا نہیں "۔
Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) (Fajr ki sunnatain) itni mukhtasir parhte thay keh main kehti "Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Surah Fatiha bhi parhi hai ya nahin".
Narrated Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her: When the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, would observe Itikaf (seclusion in the mosque for worship), he would only enter the house for human needs and would put his head out of the mosque. I would wash it while the doorstep separated us.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ معتکف ہوتے تو صرف انسانی ضرورت کی بناء پر ہی گھر میں آتے تھے اور مسجد سے اپنا سر باہر نکال دیتے، میں اسے دھو دیتی جبکہ میرے اور ان کے درمیان دروازے کی چوکھٹ حائل ہوتی تھی۔
Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) aitkaf hote to sirf insani zarurat ki bina par hi ghar mein aate thay aur masjid se apna sar bahar nikal dete, mein ise dho deti jabke mere aur unke darmiyan darwaze ki chaukhat hail hoti thi.
Narrated Aisha: She said that she had washed the semen off the clothes of the Prophet, and he went out to lead the prayer and I could see the marks of the water on his clothes.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ انہوں نے نبی ﷺ کے کپڑوں پر لگنے والے مادہ منویہ کو دھو دیا تھا اور نبی ﷺ نماز پڑھانے چلے گئے تھے اور مجھے ان کے کپڑوں پر پانی کے نشانات نظر آرہے تھے۔
Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki unhon ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke kapron par lagne wale mada maniya ko dho diya tha aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) namaz parhane chale gaye the aur mujhe un ke kapron par pani ke nishanat nazar aa rahe the.
Sa'd bin Hisham (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates, “Once I reached Madinah and went to Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her). She asked me, 'Who are you?' I replied, 'Sa'd bin Hisham.' She said, 'May Allah shower His mercy on your father.' I requested, 'Tell me about the night prayer (Qiyam) of Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).' Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said, 'The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to offer Isha prayer with the people. Then he would come to his bed. At some point during the night, he would wake up, perform ablution, go to the mosque, and offer eight rak'ahs with measured recitation, bowing, and prostration. Then, he would offer one rakah of Witr. After that, he would offer two rak'ahs while sitting. He would then lie down, resting his head. Sometimes before he could fall asleep, Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) would come and give the call to prayer. This continued until, when the Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) blessed body became heavy and he grew older, he reduced the eight rak'ahs to six, while the rest of the routine remained the same."

سعد بن ہشام رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ میں مدینہ منورہ پہنچ کر حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا، انہوں نے مجھ سے پوچھا تم کون ہو؟ میں نے عرض کیا سعد بن ہشام، انہوں نے فرمایا اللہ تمہارے والد پر اپنی رحمتیں نازل کرے، میں نے عرض کیا کہ مجھے رسول اللہ ﷺ (کی نماز) قیام کے بارے میں بتائے؟ حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے فرمایا کہ نبی ﷺ لوگوں کو نماز عشاء پڑھا کر اپنے بستر پر آتے، درمیان رات میں بیدار ہو کر وضو کرتے، مسجد میں داخل ہوتے اور آٹھ رکعتیں مساوی قرأت، رکوع اور سجود کے ساتھ پڑھتے، پھر ایک رکعت وتر پڑھتے، پھر بیٹھے بیٹھے دو رکعتیں پڑھتے اور سر رکھ کر لیٹے رہتے اور ان کے اونگھنے سے پہلے ہی بعض اوقات حضرت بلال رضی اللہ عنہ آکر نماز کی اطلاع دے جاتے، یہ سلسلہ اسی طرح چلتا رہا، حتیٰ کہ جب نبی ﷺ کا جسم مبارک بھاری اور عمر زیادہ ہوگئی تو آپ ﷺ نے مذکورہ معمول میں آٹھ کی بجائے چھ رکعتیں کردیں، باقی معمول وہی رہا۔
Saad bin Hisham rahmatullah alaih kahte hain ke aik martaba main Madina Munawwara pahunch kar Hazrat Ayesha razi Allah tala anha ki khidmat mein hazir hua, unhon ne mujh se pucha tum kaun ho? Maine arz kiya Saad bin Hisham, unhon ne farmaya Allah tumhare wald par apni rehmaten nazil kare, maine arz kiya ke mujhe Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) (ki namaz) qayam ke bare mein bataen? Hazrat Ayesha razi Allah tala anha ne farmaya ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) logon ko namaz Isha parha kar apne bistar par aate, darmiyaan raat mein bedar ho kar wazu karte, masjid mein dakhil hote aur aath rakatain musavi qirat, ruku aur sijda ke sath parhte, phir ek rakat witr parhte, phir baithe baithe do rakaten parhte aur sar rakh kar lete rehte aur un ke unghne se pehle hi baaz auqat Hazrat Bilal razi Allah tala anhu aakar namaz ki ittila de jate, ye silsila isi tarah chalta raha, hatta ke jab Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ka jism mubarak bhari aur umar zyada ho gayi to aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mazkora mamol mein aath ki bajaye chhe rakaten kar den, baqi mamol wohi raha.
Narrated Aisha: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would pray two rak'ahs after the 'Isha' prayer and then go to sleep. Then he would wake up, and the water for ablution and the siwak would be covered and near him. He would use the siwak, perform ablution, and pray eight rak'ahs. He would not sit in these rak'ahs except after the eighth one, and he would remember Allah, praise Him, and supplicate to Him. Then he would stand up and not repeat the taslim (salutation of peace). Then he would stand and pray the ninth rak'ah. Then he would sit, remember Allah, praise Him, and supplicate to Him. Then he would repeat the taslim, and we could hear him repeating it. Then, after repeating the taslim, he would pray two rak'ahs while sitting. So these were eleven rak'ahs. Then, when the Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) blessed age increased and his blessed body gained weight, he would pray seven rak'ahs for Witr and two rak'ahs as he used to pray before, so these were nine rak'ahs. And the prayer of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) remained like this until his death.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ عشاء کی نماز کے بعد دو رکعتیں پڑھ کر سو جاتے تھے، پھر بیدار ہوتے تو وضو کا پانی ڈھکا ہوا اور مسواک ان کے قریب ہی ہوتی، آپ مسواک فرماتے اور وضو فرماتے اور آٹھ رکعات نماز پڑھتے۔ ان رکعتوں میں نہ بیٹھتے سوائے آٹھویں رکعت کے بعد اور اللہ تعالیٰ کو یاد کرتے اور اس کی حمد کرتے اور اس سے دعا مانگتے پھر آپ اٹھتے اور سلام نہ پھیرتے پھر کھڑے ہو کر نویں رکعت پڑھتے پھر آپ بیٹھتے، اللہ تعالیٰ کو یاد کرتے اور اس کی حمد بیان فرماتے اور اس سے دعا مانگتے پھر آپ سلام پھیرتے، سلام پھیرنا ہمیں سنا دیتے پھر آپ سلام پھیرنے کے بعد بیٹھے بیٹھے دو رکعات نماز پڑھتے تو یہ گیارہ رکعتیں ہوگئیں پھر جب اللہ کے نبی ﷺ کی عمر مبارک زیادہ ہوگئی اور آپ ﷺ کے جسم مبارک پر گوشت آگیا تو سات رکعتیں وتر کی پڑھنے لگے اور دو رکعتیں اسی طرح پڑھتے جس طرح پہلے بیان کیا تو یہ نو رکعتیں ہوئیں اور وفات تک نبی ﷺ کی نماز اسی طرح رہی۔
Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allaho Anha se marvi hai ki Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam Isha ki namaz ke bad do rakaten parh kar so jate the, phir bedar hote to wazoo ka pani dhaka hua aur miswak unke kareeb hi hoti, Aap miswak farmate aur wazoo farmate aur aath rakaten namaz parhte. In rakaton mein na baithte siwaye aathween rakat ke bad aur Allah Ta'ala ko yaad karte aur uski hamd karte aur us se dua mangte phir Aap uthte aur salam na phirte phir kharay ho kar nauween rakat parhte phir Aap baithte, Allah Ta'ala ko yaad karte aur uski hamd bayan farmate aur us se dua mangte phir Aap salam phirte, salam phirna humain suna dete phir Aap salam phirne ke bad baithe baithe do rakaten namaz parhte to ye gyarah rakaten hogayee phir jab Allah ke Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ki umar mubarak ziada hogayi aur Aap Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ke jism mubarak par gosht agaya to saat rakaten witr ki parhne lage aur do rakaten isi tarah parhte jis tarah pehle bayan kiya to ye nau rakaten hueen aur wafat tak Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ki namaz isi tarah rahi.
It was narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever loves to meet Allah, Allah loves to meet him, and whoever dislikes to meet Allah, Allah dislikes to meet him, and death comes before meeting Allah."

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا جو شخص اللہ تعالیٰ سے ملاقات کو محبوب رکھتا ہے، اللہ تعالیٰ اس سے ملاقات کو محبوب رکھتا ہے اور جو اللہ سے ملاقات کو ناپسند کرتا ہے، اللہ اس سے ملنے کو ناپسند کرتا ہے اور اللہ سے ملاقات ہونے سے پہلے موت ہوتی ہے۔
Hazrat Aisha Radi Allah Anha se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya jo shakhs Allah Ta'ala se mulakat ko mahboob rakhta hai, Allah Ta'ala us se mulakat ko mahboob rakhta hai aur jo Allah se mulakat ko napasand karta hai, Allah us se milne ko napasand karta hai aur Allah se mulakat hone se pehle maut hoti hai.
It is narrated by Hazrat Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had the best character among all people. He would not engage in any obscene act or speech, nor would he raise his voice in the marketplaces. He would not respond to evil with evil, but rather he would pardon and forgive.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ تمام لوگوں میں سب سے زیادہ اچھے اخلاق والے تھے، کوئی بیہودہ کام یا گفتگو کرنے والے یا بازاروں میں شور مچانے والے نہیں تھے اور وہ برائی سے نہیں دیتے تھے، بلکہ معاف اور درگذر فرماتے تھے۔

It is narrated by Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that I used to apply the best perfume to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that I had, and it is as if I can still see him in the state of Ihram with the musk glistening on his head. I used to braid the rope of the Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sacrificial animal, which was a goat, and even after sending it off, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would not prevent himself from being near women.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ میں نبی ﷺ کو اپنے پاس موجود سب سے عمدہ خوشبو لگاتی تھی اور گویا وہ منظر اب تک میری نگاہوں کے سامنے ہے کہ حالت احرام میں نبی ﷺ کے سر پر مشک کی چمک دیکھ رہی ہوں۔ اور میں نبی ﷺ کے جانور یعنی بکری کے قلادے بٹا کرتی تھی اور اسے بھیج کر بھی نبی ﷺ کسی عورت سے اپنے آپ کو نہیں روکتے تھے۔

Abdullah bin Shaqiq (may Allah have mercy on him) said that I asked Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) about the optional prayers of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). She said that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would stand for a long time in night prayer and sit for a long time. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would recite, bow and prostrate while standing, and he would recite, bow and prostrate while sitting.

عبداللہ بن شقیق رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے نبی ﷺ کی نفل نمازوں کے متعلق دریافت کیا تو انہوں نے فرمایا کہ رات کی نماز میں نبی ﷺ طویل قیام فرماتے اور کافی دیر تک بیٹھتے، نبی ﷺ کھڑے ہو کر بھی تلاوت اور رکوع و سجود فرماتے تھے اور بیٹھ کر بھی تلاوت اور رکوع و سجود فرماتے تھے۔
Abdullah bin Shafiq rehmatullah alaih kahte hain ki maine Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki nafl namaazon ke mutalliq daryaft kiya to unhon ne farmaya ki raat ki namaz mein Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) tawil qayam farmate aur kafi der tak baithte, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) kharde ho kar bhi tilawat aur ruku w sujud farmate the aur baith kar bhi tilawat aur ruku w sujud farmate the.
Masruq said: I was once reclining in the presence of Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, (and I asked her regarding the Divine statement "Verily your companion (Muhammad) neither errs, nor lies. He only sees that which is revealed to him. He saw him (Gabriel) in a clear form on the horizon. And then he drew near and came down till he was at a distance of two bows' length or even nearer." and "He (Muhammad) has indeed seen him (Gabriel) in another descent. At the lote-tree of the utmost boundary.") She said: O Abu A'isha! I was the first amongst people to ask the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, about that, and he said: "That was Gabriel. I saw him in his true form only twice. Once I saw him descending from the sky, and his huge size filled the space between heaven and earth."

مسروق کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ میں حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کے یہاں ٹیک لگائے بیٹھا ہوا تھا، (میں نے ان سے پوچھا کہ کیا اللہ تعالیٰ یہ نہیں فرماتا " تحقیق پیغمبر نے اسے آسمان کے کنارے پر واضح طور پر دیکھا ہے " اور یہ کہ " پیغمبر نے اسے ایک اور مرتبہ اترتے ہوئے بھی دیکھا ہے؟ '') انہوں نے فرمایا اے ابو عائشہ! اس کے متعلق سب سے پہلے میں نے ہی نبی ﷺ سے پوچھا تھا اور انہوں نے فرمایا تھا کہ اس سے مراد حضرت جبرائیل علیہ السلام ہیں، جنہیں میں نے ان کی اصلی صورت میں صرف دو مرتبہ دیکھا ہے، میں نے ایک مرتبہ انہیں آسمان سے اترتے ہوئے دیکھا تو ان کی عظیم جسمانی ہیئت نے آسمان و زمین کے درمیان کی فضاء کو پر کیا ہوا تھا۔
Masrooq kehte hain ki aik martaba main Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allaho Anha ke yahan tek lagaye baitha hua tha, (maine unse poocha ke kya Allah Ta'ala yeh nahin farmata "tahaqeeq paighambar ne use asman ke kinare par wazeh tor par dekha hai" aur yeh ki "paighambar ne use ek aur martaba utarte hue bhi dekha hai?'') Unhon ne farmaya ae Abu Ayesha! Iske mutalliq sabse pehle maine hi Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam se poocha tha aur unhon ne farmaya tha ki is se murad Hazrat Jibraeel Alaihissalam hain, jinhin maine unki asli soorat mein sirf do martaba dekha hai, maine ek martaba unhen asman se utarte hue dekha to unki azeem jismani haisiyat ne asman o zameen ke darmiyan ki faza ko pura kiya hua tha.
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that some women from Basra came to her, so she ordered them to use water for cleansing after relieving themselves and said, "Order your husbands to do the same, because Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to cleanse himself with water."

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ بصرہ کی کچھ خواتین ان کے پاس حاضر ہوئیں تو انہوں نے انہیں پانی سے استنجاء کرنے کا حکم دیا اور فرمایا اپنے شوہر کو بھی اس کا حکم دو، کیونکہ نبی ﷺ پانی سے ہی استنجاء کرتے تھے۔

It is narrated from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the details of the Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) Ghusl (ritual bath) are as follows: He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would first perform Wudu (ablution) like that for prayer, then wash his private parts and feet. He would then rest his hand on the wall and pour water over it, as if I am still seeing the mark of his hand on the wall.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے نبی ﷺ کی غسل کی تفصیل یوں مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ سب سے پہلے نماز جیسا وضو فرماتے تھے، پھر شرمگاہ اور پاؤں دھوتے، ہاتھ کو دیوار پر ملتے اور اس پر پانی بہاتے، گویا ان کے ہاتھ کا دیوار اوپر نشان میں اب تک دیکھ رہی ہوں۔

Narrated Aisha (RA): The Prophet (PBUH) did not leave in his house anything on which there was a sign of the cross, but he would erase it.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ اپنے گھر میں کوئی ایسا کپڑا نہیں چھوڑتے تھے جس میں صلیب کا نشان بنا ہوا ہو، یہاں تک کہ اسے ختم کردیتے۔
Hazrat Aisha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) apne ghar mein koi aisa kapra nahin chhorte the jis mein saleeb ka nishan bana hua ho, yahan tak ke use khatam karte.
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would enter his house at night, the first thing he would do is use the Miswak (toothbrush), and when he would leave the house, the last thing he would do before Fajr (dawn prayer) was to offer two rak'ahs (units of prayer).

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ رات کو جب اپنے گھر میں داخل ہوتے تھے تو سب سے پہلے مسواک فرماتے تھے اور جب گھر سے نکلتے تھے تو سب سے آخر میں فجر سے پہلے کی دو رکعتیں پڑھتے تھے۔
Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allaho Anha se marvi hai ki Nabi sallallaho alaihi wasallam raat ko jab apne ghar mein dakhil hote thy to sab se pehle miswak farmate thy aur jab ghar se nikalte thy to sab se akhir mein fajr se pehle ki do rakat namaz parhte thy.
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed away, his armor was mortgaged for thirty Sa's of barley.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کا جب وصال ہوا تو ان کی زرہ تیس صاع جَو کے عوض گروی کے طور پر رکھی ہوئی تھی۔
Hazrat Ayesha razi Allah anha se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ka jab wisal hua to un ki zirah tees sa jow ke awaz giro ke tor par rakhi hoi thi.
It was narrated from Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Profit is tied to liability.”

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا کمائی کا منافع تاوان ضمانت کے ساتھ وابستہ ہوتا ہے۔
Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allaho Anha se marvi hai ki Nabi Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne irshad farmaya kamai ka munafa tawan zamanat ke sath wabasta hota hai.
It is narrated by Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) took my hand and showed me the moon which was rising, and said: "Seek refuge with Allah from the evil of this dark night when it prevails."

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے میرا ہاتھ پکڑا اور مجھے چاند دکھایا جو طلوع ہو رہا تھا اور فرمایا اس اندھیری رات کے شر سے اللہ کی پناہ مانگا کرو جب وہ چھا جایا کرے۔
Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mera hath pakra aur mujhe chand dikhaya jo talu ho raha tha aur farmaya is andheri raat ke shar se Allah ki panaah manga karo jab wo chha jaya kare.
It was narrated from Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, that the Prophet, may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him, said to Abd bin Zam’a: “The child belongs to the bed, and the adulterer gets stoned.” Then when the Prophet, may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him, saw that the child clearly resembled Utbah, he said, “O Sawda! Draw a curtain in front of him,” and he did not see him until he died.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے عبد بن زمعہ سے فرمایا بچہ صاحب فراش کا ہوتا ہے اور بدکار کے لئے پتھر، نبی ﷺ نے اس بچے کو دیکھا تو اس میں عتبہ کے ساتھ واضح شباہت نظر آئی، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا اے سودہ! تم اس سے پردہ کرنا چنانچہ وہ ان کے انتقال تک انہیں دیکھ نہیں سکا۔
Hazrat Ayesha Razi Allah Anha se marvi hai keh Nabi Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne Abd bin Zam'ah se farmaya bachcha sahib e firasah ka hota hai aur badkar ke liye pathar, Nabi Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne is bachche ko dekha to is mein Utbah ke sath wazeh shibahat nazar aayi, Nabi Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne farmaya aye Sauda! tum is se parda karna chunancha woh un ke intiqal tak unhen dekh nahi saka.
`Alqama bin Waqas Laithi (may Allah have mercy on him) said that I asked Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) how the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to offer two rak'ahs while sitting. She said that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to recite while sitting, but when he intended to bow, he would stand up and then bow.`

علقمہ بن وقاص لیثی رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے پوچھا کہ نبی ﷺ بیٹھ کردو رکعتیں کس طرح پڑھتے تھے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا کہ نبی ﷺ قرأت تو بیٹھ کر کرتے تھے لیکن جب رکوع کا ارادہ کرتے تو کھڑے ہوجاتے اور پھر رکوع فرماتے تھے۔
Alqama bin Waqas Laisi rehmatullah alaih kehte hain ke maine Hazrat Ayesha razi Allah tala anha se poocha ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) baith kar do rakat namaz kis tarah parhte thay? Unhon ne farmaya ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) tilawat to baith kar karte thay lekin jab ruku ka irada karte to kharay hojate aur phir ruku farmate thay.
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha (May Allah be pleased with her) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) wanted to sleep in a state of major impurity (requiring Ghusl), he would wash his private parts and perform ablution like that for prayer.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ جب وجوبِ غسل کی حالت میں سونا چاہتے تو شرمگاہ کو دھو کر نماز جیسا وضو فرما لیتے تھے۔

Narrated Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her: A month would pass by and no fire would be lit in the houses of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) except that some meat would come from somewhere, and our sustenance was only two things: water and dates. However, there were some prosperous families of the Ansar around us, may Allah reward them with goodness, they used to send goat's milk to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) every day, and he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would drink it.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ آلِ محمد ﷺ پر بعض اوقات ایک ایک مہینہ اس طرح گذر جاتا تھا کہ نبی ﷺ کے کسی گھر میں آگ نہیں جلتی تھی، الاّ یہ کہ کہیں سے تھوڑا بہت گوشت آجائے اور ہمارے گذارے کے لئے صرف دو ہی چیزیں ہوتی تھیں یعنی پانی اور کجھور، البتہ ہمارے آس پاس انصار کے کچھ گھرانے آباد تھے، اللہ انہیں ہمیشہ جزائے خیر دے، کہ وہ روزانہ نبی ﷺ کے پاس بکری کا دودھ بھیج دیا کرتے تھے اور نبی ﷺ اسے نوش فرما لیا کرتے تھے۔
Hazrat Ayesha Radi Allaho Anha se marvi hai ki Aal e Muhammad Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam per baz auqat ek ek mahina is tarah guzar jata tha ki Nabi Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ke kisi ghar mein aag nahi jalti thi, illa yeh ki kahin se thora bahut gosht aa jaye aur humare guzare ke liye sirf do hi cheezen hoti thin yani pani aur khajoor, albatta humare aas paas Ansar ke kuchh gharane abad the, Allah unhen hamesha jazae khair de, ki woh rozana Nabi Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ke paas bakri ka doodh bhej diya karte the aur Nabi Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ise nosh farma liya karte the.
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha Radi Allahu Anha that once Zainab bint Jahsh came to the service of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and submitted that my menstrual bleeding continues always. The Prophet ﷺ said: Leave the prayer during the days of menstruation, after that perform Ghusl (ritual bath) and make Wudu (ablution) at the time of every prayer and offer prayer even if drops of blood fall on the prayer mat.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ زینب بنت جحش نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئیں اور عرض کیا کہ میرا دم حیض ہمیشہ جاری رہتا ہے۔ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا ایام حیض تک تو نماز چھوڑ دیا کرو، اس کے بعد غسل کر کے ہر نماز کے وقت وضو کرلیا کرو اور نماز پڑھا کرو خواہ چٹائی پر خون کے قطرے ٹپکنے لگیں۔
Hazrat Ayesha razi Allah anha se marvi hai ke ek martaba Zainab bint Jahsh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir huyeen aur arz kiya ke mera dam e haiz hamesha jari rehta hai. Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ayam e haiz tak to namaz chhod diya karo, uske baad gusal kar ke har namaz ke waqt wuzu kar liya karo aur namaz parha karo chahe chatai par khoon ke qatre tapkne lagen.
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha (RA) that I applied perfume to the ihram of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) with my own two hands, while the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was in the state of ihram, and also applied perfume after he became halal (permissible) before the tawaf of ziyarah.

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے اپنے ان دونوں ہاتھوں سے نبی ﷺ کے احرام پر خوشبو لگائی ہے جبکہ نبی ﷺ احرام باندھتے تھے اور طوافِ زیارت سے قبل حلال ہونے کے بعد بھی خوشبو لگائی ہے۔

It is narrated by Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once Hafsa (may Allah be pleased with her) received a goat as a gift. We both were fasting that day. She made me break my fast with it. She was the daughter of his father (Prophet). When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to us, we mentioned this to him. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “Both of you should observe fast for another day in lieu of this.”

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ حضرت حفصہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس کہیں سے ایک بکری ہدیئے میں آئی، ہم دونوں اس دن روزے سے تھیں، انہوں نے میرا روزہ اس سے کھلوا دیا، وہ اپنے والد کی بیٹی تھیں، جب نبی ﷺ ہمارے ہاں تشریف لائے تو ہم نے نبی ﷺ سے اس کا ذکر کیا تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا تم دونوں اس کے بدلے میں کسی اور دن کا روزہ رکھ لینا۔
Hazrat Ayesha ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se marvi hai ki ek martaba Hazrat Hafsa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke paas kahin se ek bakri hadiye mein aai, hum donon us din rozey se thin, unhon ne mera roza us se khulwa diya, woh apne wald ki beti thin, jab Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) hamare han tashreef laaye to hum ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se is ka zikar kiya to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya tum donon is ke badle mein kisi aur din ka roza rakh lena.
It is narrated on the authority of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that once a Jewish woman asked her for something. She gave it to her. The woman said, "May Allah protect you from the punishment of the grave." She was surprised at this. When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to her, she mentioned this to him. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "No." After some time had passed, one day the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to me, "It has been revealed to me that you will be tested in the grave."

حضرت عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ ایک یہودیہ عورت نے ان سے کچھ مانگا، انہوں نے اسے وہ دے دیا، اس نے کہا کہ اللہ تمہیں عذاب قبر سے محفوظ رکھے، انہیں اس پر تعجب ہوا، نبی ﷺ ان کے پاس تشریف لائے تو انہوں نے ان سے اس کا ذکر کیا، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا نہیں، کچھ عرصہ گذرنے کے بعد ایک دن نبی ﷺ نے مجھ سے فرمایا کہ مجھ پر یہ وحی آگئی ہے کہ تمہیں قبروں میں آزمایا جائے گا۔
