It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “The example of a hypocrite is that of a sheep who is between two flocks, sometimes it goes to this flock and sometimes to that flock and it does not know which flock it belongs to.”

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”منافق کی مثال اس بکر ی کی سی ہے جو دو ریوڑوں کے درمیان ہو، کبھی اس ریوڑ کے پاس جائے اور کبھی اس ریوڑ کے پاس جائے اور اسے یہ معلوم نہ ہو کہ وہ اس ریوڑ میں شامل ہو یا اس ریوڑ میں۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: “Munafiq ki misal us bakri ki si hai jo do reydon ke darmiyaan ho, kabhi is reyd ke paas jaye aur kabhi us reyd ke paas jaye aur use ye malum na ho ki wo is reyd mein shamil ho ya us reyd mein.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) observed fasts continuously for many days with only one Suhoor (pre-dawn meal) in the month of Ramadan. People also did the same. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade them from doing so, so they began to say, "You are forbidding us from fasting for several consecutive days while you yourself are observing them?" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "I am not like you. I am provided food and drink by Allah."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے رمضان کے مہینے میں ایک ہی سحری سے مسلسل کئی روزے رکھے لوگوں نے بھی ایساہی کیا نبی کریم ﷺ نے انہیں ایسا کر نے سے روکا تو وہ کہنے لگے کہ آپ ہمیں تو مسلسل کئی دن کا روزہ رکھنے سے منع کر رہے ہیں اور خود رکھ رہے ہیں؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”میں تمہاری طرح نہیں ہوں مجھے تو اللہ کی طرف سے کھلا پلا دیا جاتا ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Ramzan ke mahine mein ek hi sehri se musalsal kai roze rakhe logon ne bhi aisa hi kiya Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unhen aisa karne se roka to wo kahne lage ki aap hamen to musalsal kai din ka roza rakhne se mana kar rahe hain aur khud rakh rahe hain Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya main tumhari tarah nahin hun mujhe to Allah ki taraf se khila pila diya jata hai
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Make Witr your last prayer at night.”

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”رات کو اپنی سب سے آخری نماز وتر کو بناؤ۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Raat ko apni sab se aakhiri namaz witr ko banao.
A man asked Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), "Why don't you participate in Jihad now?" He said, "I heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying that the foundation of Islam is based on five things: To testify that there is no god but Allah, to establish prayer, to pay Zakat, to perform Hajj of the Ka'aba, and to fast in the month of Ramadan."

طاؤس کہتے ہیں کہ ایک آدمی نے سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے پوچھا کہ اب آپ جہاد میں شرکت کیوں نہیں کرتے انہوں نے فرمایا: ”کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ اسلام کی بنیاد پانچ چیزوں پر ہے اس بات کی گواہی دینا کہ اللہ کے سوائے کوئی معبود نہیں، نماز قائم کرنا، زکوٰۃ ادا کرنا، بیت اللہ کا حج کرنا اور رمضان کے روزے رکھنا۔
Taus kehte hain ke ek aadmi ne Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se poocha ke ab aap jihad mein shirkat kyun nahin karte unhon ne farmaya: ”Ke maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate hue suna hai ke Islam ki bunyad panch cheezon par hai is baat ki gawahi dena ke Allah ke siwa koi mabood nahin, namaz qaim karna, zakat ada karna, Baitullah ka Hajj karna aur Ramadan ke roze rakhna.
Narrated by Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: "Once I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) pointing with his hand towards the East and saying three times: 'Fitnah (tribulation) is here, from where the horn of Satan emerges.'"

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نے دیکھا کہ آپ ﷺ نے اپنے ہاتھ سے مشرق کی طرف اشارہ کیا اور تین مرتبہ فرمایا: ”فتنہ یہاں سے ہو گا جہاں سے شیطان کا سینگ نکلتا ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki ek martaba maine dekha ki Aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne apne hath se mashriq ki taraf ishara kiya aur teen martaba farmaya: “Fitna yahan se hoga jahan se shaitan ka sing nikalta hai.”
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: When the women ask your permission for going to the mosque, permit them.

It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: When women ask your permission for going to the mosque, permit them.

Sayyidna Ibn Umar razi Allah anhuma se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate hue suna hai ki jab auraten tum se masjid jane ki ijazat mangain to unhen ijazat de diya karo.
It was narrated from Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever attends a funeral procession and offers the funeral prayer, he will get a reward equal to one Qirat.” Someone asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about Qirat, so he said: “That it is equal to the mountain of Uhud.”

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جو شخص جنازے کے ساتھ جائے اور نماز جنازہ پڑھے اسے ایک قیراط کے برابر ثواب ملے گا کسی شخص نے نبی کریم ﷺ سے قیراط کے متعلق پوچھا تو فرمایا: ”کہ وہ احد پہاڑ کے برابر ہو گا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Jo shakhs janaze ke sath jaye aur namaz janaza padhe use ek qirat ke barabar sawab milega kisi shakhs ne Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se qirat ke mutalliq puchha to farmaya: ”Ki woh uhud pahar ke barabar ho ga.
Narrated by Ibn Umar (May Allah be pleased with him) that once he saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) holding some pebbles in his hand and he was cleaning the phlegm in front of him in the direction of the Qibla with it, and he was saying when one of you is in prayer, he is conversing with Allah, so none of you should clean his nose in front of his face in his prayer.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو دیکھا کہ ان کے ہاتھ میں کچھ کنکر یاں ہیں اور وہ اس سے قبلہ کے جانب لگا ہوا بلغم صاف کر رہے ہیں اور فرما رہے ہیں جب تم میں سے کوئی شخص نماز میں ہوتا ہے تو اللہ سے مناجات کر رہا ہوتا ہے اس لئے تم میں سے کوئی شخص اپنی نماز میں اپنے چہرے کے سامنے ناک صاف نہ کرے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki aik martaba maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko dekha ki unke hath mein kuch kankar hain aur wo is se qibla ke janib laga hua balgham saaf kar rahe hain aur farma rahe hain jab tum mein se koi shakhs namaz mein hota hai to Allah se munajat kar raha hota hai isliye tum mein se koi shakhs apni namaz mein apne chehre ke samne nak saaf na kare.
It is narrated by Ibn Umar Radi Allahu Anhu that the Holy Prophet peace and blessings of Allah be upon him prohibited the sale of deceit: Ibn Umar Radi Allahu Anhu says that in the days of ignorance, people used to sell in such a way that they would give a camel and buy the baby in the womb of a pregnant camel (before birth) (and say that when its baby is born, I will take it) The Holy Prophet peace and blessings of Allah be upon him forbade it.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے دھوکے کی بیع سے منع فرمایا: ”ہے سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما فرماتے ہیں کہ زمانہ جاہلیت میں لوگ اس طرح بیع کرتے تھے کہ ایک اونٹنی دے کر حاملہ اونٹنی کے پیٹ کے بچے کو (پیدائش سے پہلے ہی) خرید لیتے (اور کہہ دیتے کہ جب اس کا بچہ پیدا ہو گا وہ میں لوں گا) نبی کریم ﷺ نے اس سے منع فرما دیا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne dhokhay ki baye se mana farmaya: "Hai Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a farmate hain keh zamanah jahiliyat mein log iss tarah baye karte thay keh aik untni de kar hamil untni ke pet ke bachay ko (paidaish se pehle hi) kharid lete (aur keh dete keh jab iss ka baccha paida ho ga woh mein lunga) Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne iss se mana farma diya.
Our master Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates that once some people were sitting with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked our master Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) to bring the dates that were with him. When Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) brought the dates, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was surprised and said, "Where did these dates come from?" Our master Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) explained that they had given two sa' of dates in exchange for one sa' of dates. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Bring back the dates that belonged to us."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی کریم ﷺ کے پاس کچھ لوگ بیٹھے ہوئے تھے نبی کریم ﷺ سیدنا بلال رضی اللہ عنہ سے وہ کھجوریں منگوائیں جو ان کے پاس تھیں وہ جو کھجوریں لے کے آئے انہیں دیکھ کر نبی کریم ﷺ کو تعجب ہوا اور فرمایا: ”کہ یہ کھجوریں کہاں سے آئیں؟ سیدنا بلال رضی اللہ عنہ نے بتایا کہ انہوں نے دو صاع دے کر ایک صاع کھجوریں لی ہیں نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”جو ہماری کھجوریں تھیں وہی واپس لے کر آؤ۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke paas kuch log baithe hue the Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Sayyidna Bilal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se wo khajuren mangwain jo unke paas thin wo jo khajuren le ke aaye unhen dekh kar Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ta'ajjub hua aur farmaya: ”Ki ye khajuren kahan se aayin? Sayyidna Bilal (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne bataya ki unhon ne do sa'a de kar ek sa'a khajuren li hain Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: ”Jo hamari khajuren thin wahi wapas le kar aao.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever tells a lie against me, let him prepare his abode in Hell.”

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جو شخص مجھ پر جھوٹ باندھتا ہے اس کے لئے جہنم میں ایک گھر تعمیر کیا جائے گا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Jo shakhs mujh par jhoot bandhta hai uske liye jahannum mein ek ghar tameer kiya jayega.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade the meat of domesticated donkeys on the day of the Battle of Khaybar.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے غزوہ خیبر کے دن پالتو گدھوں کے گوشت سے منع فرمادیا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Ghazwa Khyber ke din paltu gadhon ke gosht se mana farma diya.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would mount his ride, he would say Allahu Akbar thrice, then he would say this supplication: "Glory be to Him Who has subjected this to us, whereas we were unable to subject it ourselves, and verily, unto our Lord, we are to return." Then he would supplicate, "O Allah, I ask You for goodness and piety in this journey of ours, and for deeds that please You. O Allah, make this journey easy for us and fold up its distance for us. O Allah, be our companion in travel and guardian of our family. O Allah, grant us companionship in our journey and appoint someone to look after our family in our absence." And when he would return home, he would say this supplication: "We have returned, repenting, worshipping and praising our Lord, if Allah wills."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ جب اپنی سواری پر سوار ہوتے تو تین مرتبہ اللہ اکبر کہتے پھر یہ دعاء پڑھتے کہ پاک ہے وہ ذات جس نے اس سواری کو ہمارے لئے مسخر کر دیا ورنہ ہم اسے اپنے تابع نہیں کر سکتے تھے اور ہم اپنے رب کی طرف لوٹ کر جانے والے ہیں پھر یہ دعاء کرتے کہ اے اللہ میں آپ سے اپنے اس سفر میں نیکی تقویٰ اور آپ کو راضی کر نے والے اعمال کا سوال کرتا ہوں اے اللہ اس سفر کو ہم پر آسان فرما جگہ کی دوریاں ہمارے لئے لپیٹ دے اے اللہ سفر میں تو میرا رفیق ہے اور میرے اہل خانہ کا جانشین ہے اے اللہ سفر میں ہماری رفاقت فرما ہمارے پیچھے ہمارے اہل خانہ میں ہماری جانشینی فرما اور جب اپنے گھر لوٹ کر آتے تو یہ دعاء فرماتے توبہ کرتے ہوئے لوٹ کر انشاء اللہ آ رہے ہیں اپنے رب کی عبادت اور اس کی تعریف کرتے ہوئے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) jab apni sawari par sawar hote to teen martaba Allahu Akbar kahte phir yeh dua parhte ki pak hai wo zaat jisne is sawari ko hamare liye musakhkhar kar diya warna hum ise apne taabe nahi kar sakte the aur hum apne rabb ki taraf laut kar jane wale hain phir yeh dua karte ki aye Allah main aapse apne is safar mein neki taqwa aur aapko razi karne wale amal ka sawal karta hun aye Allah is safar ko hum par aasan farma jagah ki dooriyan hamare liye lapet de aye Allah safar mein to mera rafiq hai aur mere ahle khana ka jaanishin hai aye Allah safar mein hamari rifaqat farma hamare peechhe hamare ahle khana mein hamari jaanishini farma aur jab apne ghar laut kar aate to yeh dua farmate tauba karte hue laut kar Insha Allah aa rahe hain apne rabb ki ibadat aur uski tareef karte hue.
Narrated by Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), that by Allah, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) never used the word "red" in describing Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him). He (the Prophet) said: “I saw myself in a dream near the Ka'bah, and there I saw a man of wheatish complexion with straight hair, resting his hands on the shoulders of two men, and water was dripping from his head. I asked, ‘Who is this?’ They said, ‘This is Jesus, son of Mary (peace be upon him).’ Then behind him I saw a man with red, curly hair, blind in the right eye, and resembling Ibn Qatan in appearance. I asked, ‘Who is this?’ They said, ‘This is the Dajjal (Antichrist).”

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ بخدا رسول اللہ ﷺ نے سیدنا عیسیٰ (علیہ السلام) کے متعلق سرخ کا لفظ کبھی استعمال نہیں کیا انہوں نے یہ فرمایا: ”تھا کہ میں نے ایک مرتبہ خواب میں خانہ کعبہ کے پاس گندمی رنگ اور سیدھے بالوں والے ایک آدمی کو دیکھا جس نے اپنا ہاتھ دو آدمیوں پر رکھا ہوا تھا اس کے سر سے پانی کے قطرات ٹپک رہے تھے میں نے پوچھا کہ یہ کون ہیں؟ پتہ چلا کہ یہ سیدنا عیسیٰ (علیہ السلام) ہیں پھر ان کے پیچھے میں نے سرخ رنگ کے گھنگھریالے بالوں والے دائیں آنکھ سے کانے اور میری دید کے مطابق ابن قطن سے انتہائی مشابہہ شخص کو دیکھا میں نے پوچھا یہ کون ہے تو پتہ چلا یہ مسیح دجال ہے
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Bukhuda Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Sayyidna Isa Alaihis Salam ke mutalliq surkh ka lafz kabhi istemal nahin kiya Unhon ne ye farmaya tha ki main ne ek martaba khwab mein Khanah Kaaba ke pass gandumi rang aur seedhe baalon wale ek aadmi ko dekha jis ne apna hath do aadmiyon per rakha hua tha Iske sar se pani ke qatrat tapk rahe the main ne poocha ki ye kaun hain pata chala ki ye Sayyidna Isa Alaihis Salam hain phir inke peechhe main ne surkh rang ke ghungrale baalon wale dayen aankh se kane aur meri did ke mutabiq Ibn Qatan se intehai mushabaha shaks ko dekha main ne poocha ye kaun hai to pata chala ye Masih Dajjal hai
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave this verdict: "The allegiance (wala') belongs to the one who sets the slave free."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے یہ فیصلہ فرمایا: ”ہے کہ ولاء اسی کا حق ہے جو غلام کو آزاد کرتا ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ye faisla farmaya: “Hai ki walaa usi ka haq hai jo ghulam ko azad karta hai.”
It is narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Do not let the villagers overpower you in your Isha prayer. Remember, its name is Isha prayer. (They call it 'Atamah) because at this time they milk their camels."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”دیہاتی لوگ تمہاری نماز کے نام پر غالب نہ آجائیں یاد رکھو اس کا نام نماز عشاء ہے اس وقت یہ اپنے اونٹوں کا دودھ دوہتے ہیں (اس مناسبت سے عشاء کی نماز کو عتمہ کہہ دیتے ہیں)
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Dehati log tumhari namaz ke naam par ghalib na aa jayen yaad rakho iska naam namaz Isha hai is waqt yeh apne ooton ka doodh dohtay hain (is munasibat se Isha ki namaz ko Atma keh dete hain).
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) once sent us to the outskirts of Medina and ordered us to kill all the dogs. A woman came from the countryside and we killed her dog as well.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ایک مرتبہ ہمیں اطراف مدینہ میں بھیجا اور تمام کتوں کو مارنے کا حکم دیا ایک عورت دیہات سے آئی ہوئی تھی ہم نے اس کا کتا بھی مار دیا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ek martaba hamen اطراف Madinah mein bheja aur tamam kutton ko marne ka hukum diya ek aurat dihat se aai hui thi hum ne uska kutta bhi maar diya.
Narrated by Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), that a man bought dates from another man on Salam terms (prepayment), but the trees didn't bear fruit that year. The buyer wanted his money back, but the seller refused. The buyer brought the case to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked the owner of the trees, "Didn't your trees bear fruit?" He replied, "No." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Why are you holding his money then?" So, he returned his money. After that, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade selling on Salam terms until the fruit had ripened.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک آدمی نے دوسرے کے لئے کھجور کے درخت میں بیع سلم کی لیکن اس سال پھل ہی نہیں آیا اس نے اپنے پیسے واپس لینا چاہے تو اس نے انکار کر دیا وہ آدمی نبی کریم ﷺ کے پاس آگیا نبی کریم ﷺ نے درختوں کے مالک سے پوچھا کہ کیا اس کے درختوں پر پھل نہیں آیا؟ اس نے کہا نہیں نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”تو پھر اس کے پیسے کیوں روک رکھے ہیں؟ چنانچہ اس نے اس کے پیسے لوٹادئیے اس کے بعد نبی کریم ﷺ نے پھل پکنے تک بیع سلم سے منع فرما دیا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar RA se marvi hai ki ek aadmi ne dusre ke liye khajoor ke darakht mein bay salam ki lekin is saal phal hi nahi aaya usne apne paise wapas lena chahe to usne inkar kar diya woh aadmi Nabi Kareem SAW ke paas aagaya Nabi Kareem SAW ne darakhton ke malik se poocha ki kya iske darakhton par phal nahi aaya? Usne kaha nahi Nabi Kareem SAW ne farmaya: "To phir iske paise kyun rok rakhe hain? Chunancha usne iske paise laut diye iske baad Nabi Kareem SAW ne phal pakne tak bay salam se mana farma diya.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ordered the hand of a man to be cut off because he stole a shield worth three dirhams that belonged to a woman.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ایک شخص کا ہاتھ ایک ڈھال جس کی قیمت تین درہم تھی اور وہ کسی عورت کی تھی چوری کر نے کی وجہ سے کاٹ دیا تھا .
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ek shakhs ka hath ek dhaal jis ki qeemat teen dirham thi aur wo kisi aurat ki thi chori karne ki wajah se kaat diya tha.
It was narrated from Sayyidina Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Do not prevent your women from coming to the mosque at night." Hearing this, Salim or a son of Sayyidina Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) said: "By Allah, we will not leave them alone like that, for they will use it as an excuse (to go out and do whatever they want)." Sayyidina Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) struck him on the chest with his hand, saying: "I am narrating to you the hadith of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and you are saying, 'No!' Rather, they should go out, but in a disheveled state (not making themselves attractive)."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”تم رات کے وقت اپنے اہل خانہ کو مسجد آنے سے نہ روکا کرو یہ سن کر سالم یا سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کا کوئی بیٹا کہنے لگا کہ واللہ ہم تو انہیں اس طرح نہیں چھوڑیں گے وہ تو اسے اپنے لئے دلیل بنالیں گی سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے اس کے سینے پر ہاتھ مار کر فرمایا: ”کہ میں تم سے نبی کریم ﷺ کی حدیث بیان کر رہا ہوں اور تم کہہ رہے ہو کہ نہیں، البتہ انہیں پراگندہ حالت میں نکلنا چاہئے۔
Sayyeda Ibne Umar RA se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah SAW ne irshad farmaya: Tum raat ke waqt apne ahal khana ko masjid aane se na roka karo ye sunkar Salem ya Sayyeda Ibne Umar RA ka koi beta kehne laga ki wallah hum to unhen is tarah nahin chhoren ge wo to ise apne liye daleel bana len gi Sayyeda Ibne Umar RA ne uske seene par hath mar kar farmaya: keh mein tum se Nabi Kareem SAW ki hadees bayan kar raha hun aur tum keh rahe ho ki nahin, albatta unhen praganda halat mein nikalna chahiye.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to go out on the occasion of both Eids (Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha) carrying a spear with him so that he could stick it in the ground and offer prayer in front of it.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ عیدین کے موقع پر اپنے ساتھ نیزہ لے کر نکلتے تھے تاکہ اسے گاڑ کر اس کے سامنے نماز پڑھ سکیں۔

It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever misses the afternoon prayer, it is as if his family and wealth have been destroyed.”

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جس شخص کی نماز عصر فوت ہو جائے گویا اس کے اہل خانہ اور مال تباہ و برباد ہو گیا۔

It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "A believer eats in one intestine (i.e., is content with little) and a disbeliever eats in seven intestines (i.e., is greedy and excessive)."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”مؤمن ایک آنت میں کھاتا ہے اور کافر سات آنتوں میں کھاتا ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Momino ek aant mein khata hai aur kafir saat aanton mein khata hai.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to apply olive oil infused with flowers, without heating them, while entering the state of Ihram.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ احرام باندھتے وقت زیتون کا وہ تیل استعمال فرماتے تھے جس میں پھول ڈال کر انہیں جوش نہ دیا گیا ہوتا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ehram bandhte waqt zaitoon ka woh tel istemaal farmate thy jis mein phool daal kar unhein josh nahi diya gaya hota.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When you see the crescent moon, then fast, and when you see it (again), break your fast. And if the sky is cloudy for you, then estimate."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جب تم چاند دیکھ لو تب روزہ رکھو اور چاند دیکھ کر ہی افطار کرو اور اگر بادل چھائے ہوئے ہوں تو اندازہ کر لو۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: "Jab tum chand dekh lo tab roza rakho aur chand dekh kar hi iftar karo aur agar badal chhaye hue hon to andaza kar lo."
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever misses the afternoon prayer (Asr), it is as if his family and wealth have been destroyed."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جس شخص کی نماز عصر فوت ہو جائے گویا اس کے اہل خانہ اور مال تباہ و برباد ہو گیا۔
Saina Ibne Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Jis shakhs ki namaz asar foot ho jaye goya uske ahl khana aur maal tabah o barbad ho gaya.
Narrated by Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), that Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) took a pregnant she-camel for sacrifice. He was offered three hundred dinars for it. He came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said, “O Messenger of Allah! I brought my pregnant she-camel for sacrifice and now I am being offered three hundred dinars for it. Should I sacrifice it or sell it and buy another one with its price?” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "No, sacrifice it."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ ہدی کے لئے ایک بختی اونٹنی لے کر گئے تھے انہیں اس کے تین سو دینار ملنے لگے وہ نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے اور کہنے لگے یا رسول اللہ! میں ہدی کے لئے اپنی بختی اونٹنی لے کر آیا ہوں اب مجھے اس کے تین سو دینار مل رہے ہیں کیا میں اسی کو ذبح کروں یا اسے بیچ کر اس کی قیمت سے کوئی اور جانور خرید لوں؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”نہیں اسی کو ذبح کرو۔
Sayyida Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Sayyida Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) haddi ke liye ek bakhti untani le kar gaye the unhen iske teen sau dinar milne lage wo Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir hue aur kehne lage Ya Rasulullah mein haddi ke liye apni bakhti untani le kar aaya hun ab mujhe iske teen sau dinar mil rahe hain kya mein isi ko zibah karun ya ise bech kar iski qeemat se koi aur janwar kharid lun Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya nahin isi ko zibah karo
Laith (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Once I visited Salim (may Allah have mercy on him) while he was reclining on a pillow which had pictures of some birds and wild animals on it. I asked, “Is this not reprehensible?” He replied: “No, the disapproved pictures are those which are hung up. My father (may Allah have mercy on him) narrated to me from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that whoever makes pictures will be punished in the Hereafter, the narrator Hafs once said, to the extent that he will be commanded to breathe life into it, but he will not be able to do so.

لیث رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ میں سالم رحمہ اللہ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا اس وقت وہ ایک تکیے سے ٹیک لگائے ہوئے تھے جس پر کچھ پرندوں اور وحشی جانوروں کی تصویریں بنی ہوئی تھیں میں نے عرض کیا کہ کیا یہ مکروہ نہیں ہے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا: ”نہیں ناپسندیدہ وہ تصویریں ہیں جنہیں نصب کیا گیا ہو اور ان کے متعلق میرے والد صاحب نے نبی کریم ﷺ کی یہ حدیث بیان کی ہے کہ جو شخص تصویر سازی کرتا ہے اسے عذاب میں مبتلا کیا جائے گا راوی حفص نے ایک مرتبہ یوں کہا تھا کہ اسے اس میں روح پھونکنے کا مکلف بنایا جائے گا لیکن وہ اس میں روح پھونک نہیں سکے گا۔
Lais rahimahullah kahte hain ki ek martaba main Salim rahimahullah ki khidmat mein hazir hua us waqt wo ek takiya se tek lagaye hue the jis par kuch parindon aur wahshi janwaron ki tasveeren bani hui thin main ne arz kiya ki kya ye makrooh nahin hai? Unhon ne farmaya: "Nahin napasandida wo tasveeren hain jinhen nasb kiya gaya ho aur un ke mutalliq mere walid sahib ne Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki ye hadees bayan ki hai ki jo shakhs tasveer sazi karta hai use azab mein مبتلا kiya jaye ga Ravi Hafs ne ek martaba yun kaha tha ki use is mein rooh phoonkne ka mukallaf banaya jaye ga lekin wo is mein rooh phoonk nahin sake ga.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying on the pulpit that when a person comes for Friday, he should take a bath and come.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو برسر منبر یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ جب کوئی شخص جمعہ کے لئے آئے تو اسے چاہئے کہ غسل کر کے آئے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko barsar mimbar ye farmate huye suna hai ki jab koi shakhs Jumma ke liye aaye to use chahiye ki ghusl kar ke aaye.
Muharrab ibn Dithar said, "I saw Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with him and his father, raising his hands every time he bowed and when he raised his head from bowing. I asked him, 'What is this?' He said, 'The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, whenever he stood up to pray two rak'ahs, he would say the takbir and raise his hands.'"

محا رب بن دثار کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کو دیکھا کہ وہ ہر مرتبہ رکوع کرتے وقت اور رکوع سے سر اٹھاتے وقت رفع یدین کر رہے ہیں میں نے ان سے پوچھا یہ کیا ہے؟ تو انہوں نے فرمایا: ”کہ نبی کریم ﷺ جب دو رکعتیں پڑھنے کے لئے کھڑے ہوتے تو تکبیر کہتے اور رفع یدین کرتے تھے۔

It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard a question being asked about a person who divorces his wife during her menstrual period. He said, "Do you know Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him)?" The questioner said, "Yes." He said, "He also divorced his wife during her menstrual period. Sayyidna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) went and told this to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Tell him to return to her."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ اس شخص کے متعلق سوال ہوتے ہوئے سنا جو ایام کی حالت میں اپنی بیوی کو طلاق دے دے تو انہوں نے فرمایا: ”کہ کیا تم عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کو جانتے سائل نے کہا جی ہاں انہوں نے فرمایا: ”اس نے بھی اپنی بیوی کو ایام کی حالت میں طلاق دے دی تھی سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے جا کر نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ بات بتائی تو نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”اسے کہو کہ وہ اس سے رجوع کر لے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ke us shakhs ke mutalliq sawal hote huye suna jo ayyam ki halat mein apni biwi ko talaq de de to unhon ne farmaya: ”Kiya tum Abdullah bin Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ko jante? Sائل ne kaha: “Ji haan. Unhon ne farmaya: ”Usne bhi apni biwi ko ayyam ki halat mein talaq de di thi. Sayyidna Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne ja kar Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye baat batai to Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: ”Use kaho ke wo us se ruju kar le”.
It is narrated on the authority of Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that during the blessed era of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), whoever saw a dream would narrate it to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). I wished that I could also see a dream and narrate it to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). I was an unmarried young man at that time and used to sleep in Masjid-e-Nabawi. Finally, one day I also saw a dream, and it was that two angels came and caught hold of me and started taking me towards Hell. It was dome-shaped like a well, and it felt as if it had two horns. I saw some people in it whom I recognized. I repeatedly started reciting, "I seek refuge in Allah from Hell." Meanwhile, another angel met those two angels. He said to me, "Don't worry." I narrated this dream to my sister, Ummul Momineen Hafsa (may Allah be pleased with her). She narrated it to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Abdullah is a good man. I wish he would pray at night too." Salim (may Allah have mercy on him) said that after this Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) used to sleep very little at night.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ کے دور باسعادت میں جو آدمی بھی کوئی خواب دیکھتا وہ اسے نبی کریم ﷺ کے سامنے بیان کرتا میری خواہش ہوئی کہ میں بھی کوئی خواب دیکھوں اور نبی کریم ﷺ کے سامنے اسے بیان کروں میں اس وقت غیر شادی شدہ نوجوان تھا اور مسجد نبوی میں ہی سو جاتا تھا بالآخر ایک دن میں نے بھی خواب دیکھ ہی لیا اور وہ یہ کہ دو فرشتوں نے آ کر مجھے پکڑا اور جہنم کی طرف لے جانے لگے وہ ایسے لپٹی ہوئی تھی جیسے کنواں ہوتا ہے اور محسوس ہوا کہ جیسے اس کے دوسینگ ہیں اس میں کچھ ایسے لوگ بھی نظر آئے جنہیں میں نے پہچان لیا میں باربار اعوذباللہ من النار کہنے لگا اتنی دیر میں ان دونوں فرشتوں سے ایک اور فرشتے کی ملاقات ہوئی وہ مجھ سے کہنے لگا کہ تم گھبراؤ نہیں۔ میں نے یہ خواب اپنی بہن ام المؤمنین سیدنا حفصہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے ذکر کیا انہوں نے نبی کریم ﷺ سے بیان کیا نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”عبداللہ اچھا آدمی ہے کاش وہ رات کو بھی نماز پڑھا کرتا سالم رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ اس کے بعد سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما رات کو بہت تھوڑی دیر کے لئے سوتے تھے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke daur ba saadat mein jo aadmi bhi koi khwab dekhta wo use Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke samne bayan karta meri khwahish hui ki main bhi koi khwab dekhon aur Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke samne use bayan karon main us waqt ghair shadi shuda naujawan tha aur Masjid Nabvi mein hi so jata tha bal akhir ek din main ne bhi khwab dekh hi liya aur wo ye ki do farishton ne aa kar mujhe pakra aur jahannam ki taraf le jane lage wo aise lapti hui thi jaise kuan hota hai aur mehsoos hua ki jaise is ke do sing hain is mein kuch aise log bhi nazar aaye jinhin main ne pehchan liya main baar baar Aoozubillahi minannar kehne laga itni der mein in donon farishton se ek aur farishte ki mulaqat hui wo mujh se kehne laga ki tum ghabarao nahi main ne ye khwab apni behan Ummulmomineen Sayyidna Hafsa ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ا) se zikar kiya unhon ne Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se bayan kiya Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya Abdullah achcha aadmi hai kash wo raat ko bhi namaz parha karta Salem rehmatullah alaih kehte hain ki is ke baad Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a raat ko bahut thori der ke liye sote the.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had a ring made of gold. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to keep its stone towards his palm. People also made rings. Upon this, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) threw it away on the pulpit and said: "I used to wear this ring and kept its stone inwards. By Allah, I will never wear it again.” So, people also threw away their rings.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے سونے کی انگوٹھی بنوائی اس کا نگینہ آپ ﷺ ہتھیلی کی طرف کر لیتے تھے، لوگوں نے بھی انگوٹھیاں بنوا لیں جس پر نبی کریم ﷺ نے برسر منبر اسے پھینک دیا اور فرمایا: ”میں یہ انگوٹھی پہنتا تھا اور اس کا نگینہ اندر کی طرف کر لیتا تھا واللہ اب میں اسے کبھی نہیں پہنوں گا چنانچہ لوگوں نے بھی اپنی انگوٹھیاں پھینک دیں۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne sone ki anguthi banwai iska nageena aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) hatheli ki taraf kar lete the, logon ne bhi anguthian banwa leen jis par Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne barsar mimbar ise phenk diya aur farmaya: ”Main yeh anguthi pehenta tha aur iska nageena andar ki taraf kar leta tha Wallahu ab main ise kabhi nahin pehnoon ga chunancha logon ne bhi apni anguthian phenk deen.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Abdullah Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When any one of you eats, he should eat with his right hand; and when he drinks, he should drink with his right hand, for Satan eats and drinks with his left hand."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جب تم میں کوئی شخص کھانا کھائے تو اسے چاہئے کہ دائیں ہاتھ سے کھائے اور جب پیئے تو دائیں ہاتھ سے کیونکہ بائیں ہاتھ سے شیطان کھاتا پیتا ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: "Jab tum mein koi shakhs khana khaye to use chahiye ki dayen hath se khaye aur jab piye to dayen hath se kyunki baen hath se shaitan khata peeta hai."
Narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) once ordered the killing of dogs in Madinah. A woman came from a village and the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) sent a man who also killed her dog.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ایک مرتبہ مدینہ منورہ میں کتوں کو مارنے کا حکم دیا ایک عورت دیہات سے آئی ہوئی تھی نبی کریم ﷺ نے ایک آدمی کو بھیج کر اس کا کتا بھی مروا دیا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ek martaba Madina Munawara mein kutton ko marne ka hukum diya ek aurat dihat se aayi hui thi Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ek aadmi ko bhej kar uska kutta bhi marwa diya.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade the killing of Jinns.

It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When one of you invites his brother, he should accept it, whether it is for a wedding or something else."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جب تم میں سے کسی کو اس کا بھائی دعوت دے تو اسے قبول کر لینا چاہئے خواہ وہ شادی کی ہو یا کسی اور چیز کی۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Jab tum mein se kisi ko uska bhai dawat de to use qabool kar lena chahiye khawa wo shadi ki ho ya kisi aur cheez ki.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When you are three people, two of you should not whisper to each other, leaving out the third, for that will grieve him."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جب تم تین آدمی ہو تو تیسرے کو چھوڑ کر دو آدمی سرگوشی نہ کر نے لگا کرو کیونکہ اس سے تیسرے کو غم ہو گا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: "Jab tum teen aadmi ho to teesre ko chhor kar do aadmi sargoshi na karne laga karo kyunki is se teesre ko gham ho ga."
It is narrated by Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) saw Utarad selling some silk garments. So he came to the court of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and submitted, "O Messenger of Allah! I saw Utarad selling silk garments. If you buy one of these garments, you can wear it in front of the delegations and on the occasion of Eid and Friday." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "This is worn by the one who has no share in the Hereafter." After a while, some silk garments came to the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) from somewhere. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave one of these garments to Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), one to Usama (may Allah be pleased with him), and sent one to Umar (may Allah be pleased with him). And he said to Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), "Tear it and distribute its pieces as scarves among women." In the meantime, Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) came to the court of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah! You said about silk what you said, and now you have sent this garment to me?" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "I did not send it to you to wear, but I sent it to you to sell." When Usama (may Allah be pleased with him) wore that garment and came out, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) started looking at him intently. When Usama (may Allah be pleased with him) saw that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was staring at him, he said, "O Messenger of Allah! You yourself gave me this garment to wear." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Tear it and distribute its pieces as scarves among the women" or as the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said "...".

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے عطارد کو کچھ ریشمی جوڑے بیچتے ہوئے دیکھا تو بارگارہ رسالت میں حاضر ہوئے اور عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ! میں نے عطارد کو ریشمی جوڑے بیچتے ہوئے دیکھا ہے اگر آپ اس میں سے ایک جوڑا خرید لیتے تو وفود کے سامنے اور عید اور جمعہ کے موقع پر پہن لیتے نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”یہ وہ شخص پہنتا ہے جس کا کوئی آخرت میں حصہ نہ ہو۔ کچھ عرصے بعد نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں کہیں سے کچھ ریشمی جوڑے آگئے نبی کریم ﷺ نے ان میں سے ایک جوڑا سیدنا علی رضی اللہ عنہ کودے دیا ایک سیدنا اسامہ رضی اللہ عنہ کودے دیا اور ایک سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کو بھجوا دیا اور سیدنا علی رضی اللہ عنہ سے فرمایا: ”اسے پھاڑ کر اس کے دوپٹے عورتوں میں تقسیم کر دو اسی اثنا میں سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ بارگاہ رسالت میں حاضر ہو کر کہنے لگے یا رسول اللہ! میں نے ریشم کے متعلق آپ کو جو فرماتے ہوئے سنا تھا وہ آپ ہی نے فرمایا: ”تھا اور پھر آپ ہی نے مجھے یہ جوڑا بھیج دیا؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”میں نے اسے تمہارے پاس اس لئے نہیں بھیجا کہ تم اسے پہن لو بلکہ اس لئے بھیجا ہے کہ تم اسے فروخت کر لوجب کہ سیدنا اسامہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے وہ جوڑا پہن لیا اور باہر نکل آئے نبی کریم ﷺ انہیں تیز نظروں سے دیکھنے لگے جب سیدنا اسامہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے دیکھا کہ نبی کریم ﷺ انہیں گھور کر دیکھ رہے ہیں تو کہنے لگے یا رسول اللہ! آپ ہی نے مجھے یہ لباس پہنایا ہے نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”اسے پھاڑ کر عورتوں کے درمیان دوپٹے تقسیم کر دو یا جیسے نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”۔
Saidna Ibn Umar razi Allah anhuma se marvi hai ki aik martaba Saidna Umar razi Allah anhu ne Utarid ko kuchh reshmi jode bechte hue dekha to bargaah risalat mein hazir hue aur arz kiya Ya Rasul Allah! mein ne Utarid ko reshmi jode bechte hue dekha hai agar aap is mein se aik joda kharid lete to wufood ke samne aur Eid aur Jumma ke mauqe par pehan lete Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Yeh woh shakhs pahnta hai jis ka koi aakhirat mein hissa na ho." Kuchh arse baad Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein kahin se kuchh reshmi jode aa gaye Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne in mein se aik joda Saidna Ali razi Allah anhu ko de diya aik Saidna Usama razi Allah anhu ko de diya aur aik Saidna Umar razi Allah anhu ko bhej diya aur Saidna Ali razi Allah anhu se farmaya: "Ise phaar kar is ke dopatte auraton mein taqsim kar do" isi asna mein Saidna Umar razi Allah anhu bargaah risalat mein hazir ho kar kahne lage Ya Rasul Allah! mein ne resham ke mutalliq aap ko jo farmate hue suna tha woh aap hi ne farmaya: "tha aur phir aap hi ne mujhe yeh joda bhej diya? Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Mein ne ise tumhare paas is liye nahin bheja ki tum ise pahan lo balki is liye bheja hai ki tum ise farokht kar lo" jab keh Saidna Usama razi Allah anhu ne woh joda pahan liya aur bahar nikal aaye Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) unhen tez nazron se dekhne lage jab Saidna Usama razi Allah anhu ne dekha ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) unhen ghoor kar dekh rahe hain to kahne lage Ya Rasul Allah! aap hi ne mujhe yeh libas pahnaya hai Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Ise phaar kar auraton ke darmiyan dopatte taqsim kar do" ya jaise Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: ".
It is narrated on the authority of Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying, “Whoever trails his garment out of pride, Allah will not look at him with mercy on the Day of Judgement.” He (Ibn Umar) said, “One day I went to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and my izar (lower garment) was flowing (below my ankles). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, ‘Who is this?’ I said, ‘It is Abdullah bin Umar.’ He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, ‘Lift up your izar.’ So, I raised it until it was halfway up my shins. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) looked at Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) and said, ‘Whoever trails his garment out of pride, Allah will not look at him with mercy on the Day of Judgement.’” Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said, “O Messenger of Allah! One edge of my izar hangs low, though I try my best (to keep it from dragging).” The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “You are not one of those who do so out of pride.”

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ جو شخص تکبر کی وجہ سے اپنا تہنبد زمین پر لٹکاتا ہے اللہ اس پر قیامت کے دن نظر رحم نہیں فرمائے گا وہ بیان کرتے تھے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں بارگاہ رسالت میں حاضر ہوا اس وقت میری تہبند نیچے لٹک رہی تھی نبی کریم ﷺ نے پوچھا یہ کون ہے؟ میں نے عرض کیا عبداللہ بن عمر ہوں نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”اگر تم عبداللہ ہو تو اپنی تہبند اونچی کرو چنانچہ میں نے اسے نصف پنڈلی تک چڑھا لیا۔ پھر رسول اللہ ﷺ نے سیدنا ابوبکر کی طرف دیکھ کر ارشاد فرمایا: ”جو شخص تکبر کی وجہ سے اپنے کپڑے زمین پر گھسیٹتا ہے اللہ اس پر قیامت کے دن نظر رحم نہیں فرمائے گا سیدنا صدیق اکبر رضی اللہ عنہ نے عرض کیا کہ میرے کپڑے کا ایک کونا بعض اوقات نیچے لٹک جاتا ہے گو کہ میں کوشش تو بہت کرتا ہوں؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”آپ ان لوگوں میں سے نہیں ہیں جو یہ کام تکبر کی وجہ سے کرتے ہیں۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar razi Allah anhuma se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate hue suna hai ki jo shakhs takabbur ki wajah se apna tahband zameen par latkata hai Allah us par qayamat ke din nazar-e-reham nahin farmayega. Wo bayan karte the ki ek martaba mein bargah-e-risalat mein hazir hua us waqt meri tahband neeche latak rahi thi. Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne pucha ye kaun hai? Maine arz kiya Abdullah bin Umar hun. Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Agar tum Abdullah ho to apni tahband unchi karo." Chunancha maine use nisf pindli tak chadha liya. Phir Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Sayyidna Abubakar ki taraf dekh kar irshad farmaya: "Jo shakhs takabbur ki wajah se apne kapde zameen par ghaseetta hai Allah us par qayamat ke din nazar-e-reham nahin farmayega." Sayyidna Siddiq Akbar razi Allah anhu ne arz kiya ki mere kapde ka ek kona baaz auqat neeche latak jata hai go ki mein koshish to bahut karta hun. Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Aap un logon mein se nahin hain jo ye kaam takabbur ki wajah se karte hain."
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that once an Ansar man was advising his brother regarding modesty (that you should not be so shy). The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Leave him, for modesty is a part of faith."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ ایک انصاری آدمی اپنے بھائی کو حیاء کے متعلق نصیحت کر رہا تھا (کہ اتنی بھی حیاء کیا کرو) نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”رہنے دو حیاء تو ایمان کا حصہ ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki ek martaba ek Ansaari aadmi apne bhai ko haya ke mutalliq nasihat kar raha tha (keh itni bhi haya kya karo) Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: “Rahne do haya to imaan ka hissa hai.”
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever keeps a dog that is neither a guard dog nor a hunting dog, his reward will be diminished by two Qirats every day.”

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جو شخص ایسا کتا رکھے جو جانوروں کی حفاظت کے لئے بھی نہ ہو اور نہ ہی شکاری کتاہو تو اس کے ثواب میں روزانہ دو قیراط کمی ہوتی رہے گی۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: "Jo shakhs aisa kutta rakhe jo janwaron ki hifazat ke liye bhi na ho aur na hi shikari kutta ho to uske sawab mein rozana do qirat kami hoti rahegi."
And I heard the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) say that once in a dream, a bowl of milk was brought to me. I drank it until it started coming out from under my nails. Then I gave the rest to Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) to drink. Someone asked, "O Messenger of Allah! What did you interpret from this?" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Knowledge."

اور نبی کریم صلی اللہ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ خواب میں میرے پاس دودھ کا ایک پیالہ لایا گیا میں نے اسے اتناپیا کہ میرے ناخنوں سے دودھ نکلنے لگا پھر میں نے اپنا پس خوردہ سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ کودے دیا کسی نے پوچھا یا رسول اللہ! آپ نے اس کی کیا تعبیر لی؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”علم۔
aur nabi kareem sallallahu ko ye farmate hue suna hai ki aik martaba khwab mein mere pass doodh ka aik piyala laya gaya mein ne use itna piya ki mere nakhunon se doodh nikalne laga phir mein ne apna pas khurda sayyiduna umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ko de diya kisi ne poocha ya rasul allah aap ne is ki kya tabeer li nabi kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ilm
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to raise his hands up to or near his shoulders while saying the Takbir. He would also raise his hands when going into Ruku' (bowing) and when raising his head from Ruku'. However, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not raise his hands between the two prostrations (Sujud).

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ تکبیر کہتے وقت اپنے کندھوں کے برابر یا قریب کر کے رفع یدین کرتے تھے نیز رکوع میں جاتے وقت اور رکوع سے سر اٹھانے کے بعد بھی رفع یدین کرتے تھے لیکن دو سجدوں کے درمیان نبی کریم ﷺ نے رفع یدین نہیں کیا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) takbeer kehte waqt apne kandhon ke barabar ya qareeb kar ke rafay yadain karte thay neez ruku mein jaate waqt aur ruku se sar uthane ke baad bhi rafay yadain karte thay lekin do sajdon ke darmiyaan Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne rafay yadain nahin kiya.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would say "Rabana Lakal Hamd" when he raised his head from bowing (ruku).

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ جب رکوع سے سر اٹھاتے تو ربنا ولک الحمد کہتے تھے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) jab ruku se sar uthate to Rabbana walakal hamd kahte the.
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Prophet (ﷺ) forbade a man to sit in prayer "leaning on his hand."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے آدمی کو نماز میں اس طرح بیٹھنے سے منع فرمایا: ”ہے کہ وہ اپنے ہاتھ پر سہارا لگائے ہوئے ہو۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne aadmi ko namaz mein is tarah bethne se mana farmaya: "Hai ki woh apne hath par sahara lagaye huye ho."
