Nafi' (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Once, while in the state of Ihram, Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) felt cold. He said to me, "Put some cloth on me." I put a hat on him. He pushed it back and said, "You are putting on me a cloth that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade the Muhrim to wear."

نافع رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ حالت احرام میں سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کو ”ٹھنڈ“ لگ گئی، وہ مجھ سے کہنے لگے کہ مجھ پر کوئی کپڑا ڈال دو، میں نے ان پر ٹوپی ڈال دی، انہوں نے اسے پیچھے کر دیا اور کہنے لگے کہ تم مجھ پر ایسا کپڑا ڈال رہے جسے محرم کے پہننے پر نبی ﷺ نے ممانعت فرمائی ہے۔

It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to go to Masjid Quba on foot and also riding.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ مسجد قباء پیدل بھی آتے تھے اور سوار ہو کر بھی۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Masjid Quba paidal bhi aate the aur sawar ho kar bhi.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Goodness and blessing have been placed in the foreheads of horses until the Day of Judgment."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”قیامت تک کے لئے گھوڑوں کی پیشانی میں خیر اور بھلائی رکھ دی گئی ہے۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Qayamat tak ke liye ghoron ki peshani mein khair aur bhalai rakh di gai hai.“.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that I myself saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) touching the Black Stone, so I will continue to touch it, regardless of any difficulty or ease.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو حجر اسود کا استلام کرتے ہوئے خود دیکھا ہے اس لئے میں کسی سختی یا نرمی کی پرواہ کئے بغیر اس کا استلام کرتا ہی رہوں گا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko Hajar Aswad ka istelam karte hue khud dekha hai is liye main kisi sakhti ya narmi ki parwah kiye baghair iska istelam karta hi rahunga.
Narrated Ibn 'Umar: The Prophet (ﷺ) performed Li'an between a man and a woman from the Ansar and separated them from each other.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے انصار کے ایک مرد اور عورت کے درمیان لعان کروایا اور ان دونوں کے درمیان تفریق کر ادی۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Ansar ke ek mard aur aurat ke darmiyaan liaan karwaya aur un donon ke darmiyaan tafreeq kar di.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the people of Jahiliyyah (pre-Islamic era of ignorance) used to observe fast on the 10th of Muharram. When the order of fasting in the month of Ramadan was revealed, the people asked the Prophet (peace be upon him) about its ruling. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "This is one of the days of Allah. Whoever wants to fast, let him fast, and whoever wants to leave it, let him leave it.”

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی کہ اہل جاہلیت دس محرم کا روزہ رکھا کرتے تھے، جب ماہ رمضان کے روزوں کا حکم نازل ہوا تو لوگوں نے نبی ﷺ سے اس کا حکم دریافت کیا، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”یہ اللہ کے دنوں میں سے ایک دن ہے جو چاہے روزہ رکھ لے اور جو چاہے چھوڑ دے۔“
Sayydena Ibn Umar Raziallahu Anhuma se marvi ke ahl jahiliyat das muharram ka roza rakha karte thay, jab mah ramazan ke rozon ka hukum nazil hua to logon ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se is ka hukum daryaft kiya, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Yeh Allah ke dinon mein se ek din hai jo chahe roza rakh le aur jo chahe chhor de."
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Allah Almighty does not accept charity from stolen wealth, nor does He accept prayer without purification."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ مال غنیمت میں سے چوری کی ہوئی چیز کا صدقہ قبول نہیں کرتا اور نہ ہی طہارت کے بغیر نماز قبول کرتا ہے۔
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasulullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya ki Allah Ta'ala mal ghanimat mein se chori ki hui cheez ka sadaqah qubool nahin karta aur na hi taharat ke baghair namaz qubool karta hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) offering prayer on a donkey, while he was going towards Khaibar which is in the east.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو گدھے پر نماز پڑھتے ہوئے دیکھا ہے، اس وقت آپ ﷺ خیبر کو جا رہے تھے جو مشرق کی جانب ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko gadhe par namaz parhte hue dekha hai, us waqt Aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Khyber ko ja rahe the jo mashriq ki jaanib hai.
Sa'id ibn Musayyab (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said to me, "Is the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) not an example for you? The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to offer the Witr prayer while riding his camel."

سعید بن یسار رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے مجھ سے فرمایا کیا نبی ﷺ کی ذات میں تمہارے لئے نمونہ موجود نہیں ہے؟ نبی ﷺ اپنے اونٹ پر ہی وتر پڑھ لیا کرتے تھے۔
Saeed bin Yasar rehmatullah alaih kehte hain ki Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ne mujh se farmaya kya Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki zaat mein tumhare liye namuna maujood nahin hai? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) apne unt par hi witr parh liya karte the.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “When any one of you comes for the Friday prayer, he should perform Ghusl (ritual bath)."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جب کوئی شخص جمعہ کے لئے آئے تو اسے چاہئے کہ غسل کر کے آئے۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Jab koi shakhs Jumma ke liye aaye to use chahiye ki ghusl kar ke aaye.“
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “When any of your wives ask your permission to go to the mosque, allow her.”

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جب تم میں سے کسی کی بیوی مسجد جانے کی اجازت مانگے تو تم اسے اجازت دے دیا کرو۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: "Jab tum mein se kisi ki biwi masjid jane ki ijazat mange to tum usay ijazat de diya karo."
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) went out of his house on the day of Eid. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did not offer any supererogatory prayer before or after the Eid prayer and informed that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did the same.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما عید کے دن گھر سے باہر نکلے، آپ ﷺ نے نماز عید سے پہلے یا بعد میں کوئی نفل نماز نہیں پڑھی اور بتایا کہ نبی ﷺ نے بھی اسی طرح کیا تھا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar RA Eid ke din ghar se bahar nikle, aap SAW ne namaz Eid se pehle ya baad mein koi nafl namaz nahi parhi aur bataya ke Nabi SAW ne bhi isi tarah kiya tha.
Abu Hanthalah reported that he asked Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) about the prayer while traveling. He said: "Two rak'ahs are to be offered while traveling, and that is the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)."

ابوحنظلہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے سفر کی نماز کے متعلق دریافت کیا انہوں نے فرمایا: ”کہ سفر میں نماز کی دو رکعتیں ہیں اور یہ نبی ﷺ کی سنت ہے۔
Abuhanzala kehte hain ke maine Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se safar ki namaz ke mutalliq daryaft kiya unhon ne farmaya: ”Ke safar mein namaz ki do rakaten hain aur ye Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki sunnat hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), the two Sheikhs (Abu Bakr and Umar - may Allah be pleased with them both) and Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) prayed two rak'ahs in Mina during their early Caliphate.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ ، حضرات شیخین رضی اللہ عنہم اور سیدنا عثمان رضی اللہ عنہ نے اپنے ابتدائی دور خلافت میں منٰی کے میدان میں دو رکعتیں پڑھی ہیں۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) hazrat Shaikh Raazi Allahu Anhum aur Sayyidna Usman (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne apne ibtidai daur khilafat mein Mina ke maidan mein do rakat namaz parhi hain.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, would recite Surah Al-Kafirun and Surah Al-Ikhlas twenty or ten times in the Sunnah prayers before Fajr and the two Sunnah prayers after Maghrib.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فجر سے پہلے سنتوں میں اور مغرب کے بعد کی دو سنتوں میں بیسیوں یا دسیوں مرتبہ سورت کافرون اور سورت اخلاص پڑھی ہو گی۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar razi Allah anhuma se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne fajar se pehle sunnaton mein aur maghrib ke baad ki do sunnaton mein beesiyon ya dasiyon martaba Surah Kafiroon aur Surah Ikhlas padhi ho gi.
Nafi' reported that a person asked Ibn 'Umar (May Allah be pleased with them) about Witr, "Is it obligatory?" He replied, "The Prophet (ﷺ) and all the Muslims observed it (Witr prayer)."

نافع رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک آدمی نے سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے وتر کے متعلق پوچھا کہ کیا یہ واجب ہیں؟ انہوں نے جواب دیا کہ نبی ﷺ اور تمام مسلمانوں نے وتر پڑھے ہیں۔
Nafi' rahimahullah kehte hain ki ek aadmi ne Sayyiduna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se witr ke mutalliq poocha ki kya yeh wajib hain? Unhon ne jawab diya ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) aur tamam Musalmanon ne witr padhe hain.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once a person asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about the night prayer (Tahajjud). I was present between the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and the questioner. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Pray two rak'ahs (units) at a time, and when you fear the dawn is approaching, then pray one rak'ah (unit) with those two as Witr." A year later, that person came again to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). I was again present between them. He asked the same question, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave him the same reply.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ ایک شخص نے نبی ﷺ سے رات کی نماز سے متعلق پوچھا، اس وقت میں نبی ﷺ اور سائل کے درمیان تھا، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”تم دو دو رکعت کر کے نماز پڑھا کرو اور جب صبح ہو جانے کا اندیشہ ہو تو ان دو کے ساتھ بطور وتر کے ایک رکعت اور ملا لو“، ایک سال بعد دوبارہ وہ شخص نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا، اس مرتبہ بھی میں نبی ﷺ اور اس کے درمیان تھا، اس نے وہی سوال کیا اور نبی ﷺ نے اسے وہی جواب دیا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki ek martaba ek shakhs ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se raat ki namaz se mutalliq pucha, us waqt main Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) aur sail ke darmiyan tha, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Tum do do rakat kar ke namaz parha karo aur jab subah ho jaane ka andesha ho to un do ke sath ba طور witr ke ek rakat aur mila lo", ek saal baad dobara woh shakhs Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir hua, is martaba bhi main Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) aur uske darmiyan tha, usne wohi sawal kiya aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne use wohi jawab diya.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to go to Masjid Quba on foot and riding.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ مسجد قباء پیدل بھی آتے تھے اور سوار ہو کر بھی۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Masjid Quba paidal bhi aate the aur sawar ho kar bhi.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "I am equal to a group of Muslims."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”میں مسلمانوں کی ایک جماعت کے برابر ہوں۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai keh Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Main musalmanon ki aik jamaat ke barabar hun."
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When the Jews greet you, they say, 'As-Samu 'alaikum' (death be upon you), so you should say, 'Wa 'alaikum' (and upon you)."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”جب یہودی تمہیں ملتے ہیں تو وہ «السام عليكم» کہتے ہیں لہٰذا تم «وعليكم» کہہ دیا کرو (تم پر موت طاری ہو)۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: ”Jab yeh Yahodi tumhein milte hain to woh «Assalamu Alaikum» kahte hain lihaza tum «Wa Alaikum» keh diya karo (tum par maut tari ho).“
Sa'd ibn 'Ubaidah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I was sitting in a gathering with Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him and his father). Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) heard a man in another gathering swearing by saying "La wa abi" (No, by my father). So he threw pebbles at him and said: "Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) used to swear in this way, but the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade him from it, saying that it is shirk (polytheism)."
سعد بن عبیدہ رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں ایک حلقہ میں سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کے ساتھ بیٹھا ہوا تھا، سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے دوسرے حلقے میں بیٹھے ہوئے ایک آدمی کو «لا وابي» کہہ کر قسم کھاتے ہوئے سنا، تو اسے کنکر یاں ماریں اور فرمایا: سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ اسی طرح قسم کھاتے تھے لیکن نبی ﷺ نے انہیں اس سے منع کرتے ہوئے فرمایا کہ یہ شرک ہے۔
Sad bin Ubaida rehmatullah alaih kehte hain ke mein ek halqay mein Sayyiduna Ibn Umar razi Allah anhuma ke sath betha hua tha, Sayyiduna Ibn Umar razi Allah anhuma ne dusre halqay mein baithe huye ek aadmi ko «la wabi» keh kar qasam khate huye suna, to usay kankar maarein aur farmaya: Sayyiduna Umar razi Allah anhu isi tarah qasam khate thay lekin Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unhein is se mana karte huye farmaya ke yeh shirk hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that once a man intoxicated with wine was brought before the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He confessed to drinking wine made from grapes and dates. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) imposed the prescribed punishment on him and forbade mixing the two, saying that each one was sufficient on its own.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ کے پاس نشے میں دھت ایک شخص کو لایا گیا، اس نے کشمش اور کھجور کی شراب پینے کا اعتراف کیا، نبی ﷺ نے اس پر حد جاری فرمائی اور ان دونوں کو اکٹھا کرنے سے منع فرمایا کیونکہ ان میں سے ہر ایک دوسرے کی جانب سے کفایت کر جاتی ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke pass nashe mein dhut ek shakhs ko laya gaya, usne kishmish aur khajoor ki sharab peene ka iqrar kiya, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne us par had jari farmaai aur in donon ko ikatha karne se mana farmaaya kyonki in mein se har ek doosre ki janib se kafaayat kar jati hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prohibited the use of Dabaa, Hintam and Muzaffat. The narrator is doubtful about the word Nuqayr.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے دباء، حنتم اور مزفت سے منع فرمایا ہے۔ راوی کو نقیر کے لفظ میں شک ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne diba, hantum aur mizfat se mana farmaya hai. Ravi ko naqir ke lafz mein shak hai.
Narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Enter upon the punished nations weeping. If you cannot weep, then do not enter upon them, for I fear that you may be overtaken by the same punishment that befell them."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”ان معذب اقوام پر روتے ہوئے داخل ہوا کرو، اگر تمہیں رونا نہ آتا ہو تو وہاں نہ جایا کرو، کیونکہ مجھے اندیشہ ہے کہ تمہیں بھی وہ عذاب نہ آپکڑے جو ان پر آیا تھا۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: "In mu'azzab qaumon par rote huye daakhil hua karo, agar tumhein rona na aata ho to wahan na jaya karo, kyunki mujhe andesha hai ki tumhein bhi wo azab na aapakre jo un par aaya tha."
Our master Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "There are five things regarding the unseen which no one knows except Allah (then he recited the verse) 'Verily, the knowledge of the Hour is with Allah (alone). It is He Who sends down rain, and He Who knows what is in the wombs. No person knows what he will earn tomorrow, and no person knows in what land he will die. Verily, Allah is All-Knower, All-Aware.'"

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”غیب کی پانچ باتیں ایسی ہیں جہنیں اللہ کے علاوہ کوئی نہیں جانتا (پھر یہ آیت تلاوت فرمائی) بیشک قیامت کا علم اللہ ہی کے پاس ہے، وہی بارش برساتا ہے، وہی جانتا ہے کہ رحم مادر میں کیا ہے؟ کوئی شخص نہیں جانتا کہ وہ کل کیا کمائے گا اور کوئی شخص نہیں جانتا کہ وہ کس سر زمین میں مرے گا، بیشک اللہ بڑا جاننے والا نہایت باخبر ہے۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: "Ghaib ki panch baatein aisi hain jinhen Allah ke ilawa koi nahin janta (phir yeh ayat tilawat farmaayi) beshak qayamat ka ilm Allah hi ke paas hai, wahi barish barsata hai, wahi janta hai ki reham madar mein kya hai? Koi shakhs nahin janta ki woh kal kya kamayega aur koi shakhs nahin janta ki woh kis sar zameen mein marega, beshak Allah bada jaannewala nihayat bakhabar hai."
Atiyyah 'Awfi (may Allah have mercy on him) said, "I recited the verse: 'Allah, the One who created you from weakness' (Quran 4:28), in front of Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), pronouncing the word 'weakness' ('Du'f') with a 'Dammah' on the letter 'daad.' He said, 'Pronounce it with a 'Fathah' on the letter 'daad.' He then said, 'Once, I also recited this word in front of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) with a 'Dammah', just as you did in front of me, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) corrected me, just as I corrected you.'"

عطیہ عوفی رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کے سامنے آیت قرآنی «الله الذى خلقكم من ضعف» میں لفظ «ضعف» کو ضاد کے فتحہ کے ساتھ پڑھا، انہوں نے فرمایا کہ اسے ضاد کے ضمہ کے ساتھ پڑھو اور فرمایا کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نے بھی نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ اس لفظ کو اسی طرح پڑھا تھا جیسے تم نے میرے سامنے پڑھا اور نبی ﷺ نے میری بھی اسی طرح گرفت فرمائی تھی جیسے میں نے تمہاری گرفت کی۔
Atia Ofi rehmatullah alaih kehte hain ki maine Sayyidna Ibne Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ke samne ayat Quraani Allah allazi khalaqakum min da'f men lafz da'f ko zaad ke fatha ke sath parha, unhon ne farmaya ki ise zaad ke zamma ke sath parha aur farmaya ki ek martaba maine bhi Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath is lafz ko isi tarah parha tha jaise tumne mere samne parha aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne meri bhi isi tarah giraft farmai thi jaise maine tumhari giraft ki.
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) divorced his wife during her menstrual period. Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about this issue. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Tell him to take his wife back, then divorce her after she becomes pure or if there is hope (of pregnancy) he can divorce her then too."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے اپنی بیوی کو ایام کی حالت میں ایک طلاق دے دی، سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے نبی ﷺ سے یہ مسئلہ پوچھا تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا اسے کہو کہ وہ اپنی بیوی سے رجوع کر لے، پھر طہر کے بعد اسے طلاق دے دے یا امید کی صورت ہو تب بھی طلاق دے سکتا ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar Raziallahu Anhuma ne apni biwi ko ayyam ki halat mein aik talaq de di, Sayyidna Umar Raziallahu Anhu ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se yeh masla poocha to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya use kaho ke woh apni biwi se rujoo kar le, phir tahur ke baad use talaq de de ya umeed ki surat ho tab bhi talaq de sakta hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that once Sayyidina Umar Farooq (may Allah be pleased with him) sought permission from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) to go for Umrah. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave him permission, saying, "Brother! Don't forget to remember us in your noble prayers." Sayyidina Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said that if I were to be given everything upon which the sun rises, meaning the whole world, in exchange for this one word, "Ya Akhi" (O Brother), I would not prefer the whole world over this one word.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ سیدنا عمر فاروق رضی اللہ عنہ نے ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ سے عمرہ پر جانے کے لئے اجازت مانگی، نبی ﷺ نے انہیں اجازت دیتے ہوئے فرمایا: ”بھائی! ہمیں اپنی نیک دعاؤں میں یاد رکھنا بھول نہ جانا۔“ سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ اگر اس ایک لفظ «يا اخي» کے بدلے مجھے وہ سب کچھ دے دیا جائے جن پر سورج طلوع ہوتا ہے یعنی پوری دنیا تو میں اس ایک لفظ کے بدلے پوری دنیا کو پسند نہیں کروں گا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Sayyidna Umar Farooq (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se Umrah par jaane ke liye ijazat maangi, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unhen ijazat dete huye farmaya: “Bhai! humein apni nek duaon mein yaad rakhna bhul na jaana.” Sayyidna Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) farmate hain ki agar is ek lafz «Ya Akhi» ke badle mujhe wo sab kuchh de diya jaye jin par suraj talu hota hai yani puri duniya to main is ek lafz ke badle puri duniya ko pasand nahin karunga.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) entered Makkah al-Mukarramah during the day.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ مکہ مکرمہ میں دن کے وقت داخل ہوئے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Makkah Mukarramah mein din ke waqt dakhil hue.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with him) that whenever the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) entered Makkah al-Mukarramah, he would enter from “Thaniya Ulya” and when he went out, he would exit from “Thaniya Sufla”.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ جب مکہ مکرمہ میں داخل ہوتے تو «ثنيه عليا» سے داخل ہوتے اور جب باہر جاتے تو «ثنيه سفلي» سے باہر جاتے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) jab Makkah Mukarramah mein dakhil hote to "Saniya Ulya" se dakhil hote aur jab bahar jate to "Saniya Sufla" se bahar jate.
Narrated by Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, that two men from the East came to the presence of the Messenger of Allah. They spoke (and the people were amazed by their eloquence and fluency). The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, "Indeed, some speech has a magical effect."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ مشرق کی طرف سے دو آدمی بارگاہ رسالت میں حاضر ہوئے، انہوں نے جو گفتگو کی (لوگوں کو اس کی روانی اور عمدگی پر تعجب ہوا تو) نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”بعض بیان جادو کا سا اثر رکھتے ہیں۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki mashriq ki taraf se do aadmi bargah risalat mein hazir huye, unhon ne jo guftgu ki (logon ko is ki ravani aur umdagi par taajjub hua to) Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: ”baz bayan jadu ka sa asar rakhte hain“.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When you bury your dead in the grave, say: 'Bismillah wa ala sunnati Rasulillah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam (In the name of Allah and according to the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).'"
سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جب تم اپنے مردوں کو قبر میں اتارو تو کہو «بسم الله وعلي سنة رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم» ۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: "Jab tum apne murdon ko qabar mein utaro to kaho «Bismillah wa aala sunnat e Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)»."
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Every morning and evening, the place of a person in his grave is shown to him. If he is one of the people of Paradise, then the place of the people of Paradise is shown to him, and if he is one of the people of Hell, then the place of the people of Hell is shown to him."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”ابن آدم کے سامنے صبح و شام قبر میں اس کا ٹھکانہ پیش کیا جاتا ہے، اگر وہ اہل جنت میں سے ہو تو اہل جنت کا ٹھکانہ اور اگر اہل جہنم میں سے ہو تو اہل جہنم کا ٹھکانہ پیش کیا جاتا ہے۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Ibn Adam ke samne subah o sham qabar mein uska thikana pesh kiya jata hai, agar wo ehl jannat mein se ho to ehl jannat ka thikana aur agar ehl jahannam mein se ho to ehl jahannam ka thikana pesh kiya jata hai.“
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (R.A.) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "Whoever buys grain, let him not sell it until he takes possession of it."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جو شخص غلہ خریدے تو اس پر قبضہ کرنے سے پہلے اسے آگے فروخت نہ کرے۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Jo shakhs ghala kharede to us par qabza karne se pehle use aage farokht na kare.“
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that during the blessed era of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), two men made a sale transaction for fruits before they had even appeared. However, that year, no fruit grew at all. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Why are you withholding his money?" Following this incident, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prohibited the sale of fruits until they had ripened.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کے دور باسعادت میں دو آدمیوں نے پھل آنے سے پہلے بیع کر لی، لیکن اس سال پھل ہی نہیں آیا، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”اس کے پیسے کیوں روک رکھے ہیں؟“ اس کے بعد نبی ﷺ نے پھل پکنے تک بیع سلم سے منع فرما دیا۔
Sayyeda Ibn e Umar Raziallahu Anhuma se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke dor e basadat mein do admiyon ne phal aane se pehle bay kar li, lekin iss saal phal hi nahi aaya, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Iss ke paise kyon rok rakhe hain?" Iss ke baad Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne phal pakne tak bay salam se mana farma diya.
It has been narrated on the authority of Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: When you buy gold for silver or vice versa, or one of them for something else, do not separate from your companion until you have cleared up the least ambiguity between you.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ جب تم سونے کو چاندی کے بدلے یا ان دونوں میں سے کوئی بھی چیز لو تو اپنے ساتھی سے اس وقت تک جدا نہ ہو جب تک تمہارے اور اس کے درمیان معمولی سا بھی اشتباہ ہو۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai ki jab tum sone ko chandi ke badle ya in dono mein se koi bhi cheez lo to apne sathi se us waqt tak juda na ho jab tak tumhare aur us ke darmiyan मामूली sa bhi ishtibah ho.
Nafi', may Allah have mercy on him, said that Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, would perform Ramal (walking with short, quick steps) between the Black Stone and the Yemeni corner in the first three circuits of Tawaf and walk normally in the remaining four circuits. He would then pray two rak'ahs near Maqam Ibrahim, saying, "The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, did the same."

نافع رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے طواف کے پہلے تین چکروں میں حجر اسود سے حجر اسود تک رمل اور باقی چار چکروں میں عام رفتار رکھی اور مقام ابراہیم کے پاس دو رکعتیں پڑھیں، پھر فرمایا کہ نبی ﷺ نے بھی اسی طرح کیا تھا۔
Nafay rehmatullah kehte hain ke sayyiduna Ibn Umar razi Allah anhuma ne tawaaf ke pehle teen chakro mein Hajar Aswad se Hajar Aswad tak raml aur baqi chaar chakro mein aam raftaar rakhi aur maqaam Ibrahim ke paas do rakatain parhaen, phir farmaya ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne bhi isi tarah kiya tha.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) kissing the Black Stone, so I will continue to kiss it, whether it is easy or difficult.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کو حجر اسود کا استلام کرتے ہوئے خود دیکھا ہے اس لئے میں کسی سختی یا نرمی کی پرواہ کئے بغیر اس کا استلام کرتا ہی رہوں گا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko Hajar Aswad ka istalaam karte hue khud dekha hai is liye main kisi sakhti ya narmi ki parwah kiye baghair iska istalaam karta hi rahunga.
Dawud ibn Abi `Asim ath-Thaqafi (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I asked Ibn `Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) about the prayer in Mina. He said, “Have you heard of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)?” I said, “Yes, I have believed in him and followed the straight path.” Ibn `Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, “Then he (the Prophet) used to pray two rak'ahs in Mina.”

داؤد بن ابی عاصم ثقفی رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے منٰی میں نماز کے متعلق پوچھا، تو انہوں نے فرمایا: کہ کیا تم نے نبی ﷺ کا نام سنا ہے، میں نے کہا، جی ہاں! میں ان پر ایمان لا کر راہ راست پر بھی آیا ہوں، سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے فرمایا: پھر وہ منٰی میں دو رکعتیں پڑھتے تھے۔
Dawood bin Abi Asim Saqafi Rahmatullah Alaih kahte hain ki maine Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se mani mein namaz ke mutalliq poocha, tou unhon ne farmaya: Ki kya tum ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ka naam suna hai, maine kaha, ji han! mein un per imaan la kar raah raast per bhi aaya hun, Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ne farmaya: phir woh mani mein do rakatain padhte thay.
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) offered Maghrib and Isha prayers (in Muzdalifah) with one adhan and two iqamahs and said that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did the same with us at this place.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے مغرب اور عشاء کی نماز (مزدلفہ میں) ایک ہی اقامت کے ساتھ ادا کی اور فرمایا کہ اس مقام پر نبی ﷺ نے ہمارے ساتھ بھی اسی طرح کیا تھا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ne Maghrib aur Isha ki namaz (Muzdalifah mein) ek hi iqamat ke sath ada ki aur farmaya ki is mauqay par Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne humare sath bhi isi tarah kiya tha.
It is narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to apply olive oil, in which flowers had been steeped without heating, at the time of assuming Ihram.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ احرام باندھتے وقت زیتون کا وہ تیل استعمال فرماتے تھے جس میں پھول ڈال کر انہیں جوش نہ دیا گیا ہوتا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ehram bandhte waqt zaitoon ka woh tel istemaal farmate thy jis mein phool daal kar unhein josh nah diya gaya hota.
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Do not wear silk or dyed saffron garments."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”محرم ورس یا زعفران لگا ہوا کپڑا نہ پہنے۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Muharram wars ya zaffran laga hua kapra na pehne."
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade the wearing of clothes dyed with Wars or saffron in Muharram.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے محرم کو ورس یا زعفران لگے ہوئے کپڑے پہننے سے منع فرمایا ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne muharram ko wars ya zaffran lage hue kapde pehenne se mana farmaya hai.
Zayd bin Jubayr narrates that I saw a man come to Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) and ask, "I have made a vow to fast on such-and-such a day. What should I do if that day coincides with Eid al-Adha or Eid al-Fitr?" Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) replied, "Allah has commanded us to fulfill our vows, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) has forbidden us from fasting on the Day of Sacrifice (10th of Dhul-Hijjah)."

زیاد بن جبیر کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے ایک آدمی کو سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کی خدمت میں حاضر ہو کر یہ سوال پوچھتے ہوئے دیکھا کہ میں نے یہ منت مان رکھی ہے کہ میں فلاں دن روزہ رکھا کروں گا، اب اگر فلاں دن عیدالاضحیٰ یا عیدالفطر آ جائے تو کیا کروں؟ سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے فرمایا کہ اللہ نے منت پوری کرنے کا حکم دیا ہے اور نبی ﷺ نے ہمیں یوم النحر (دس ذی الحجہ) کا روزہ رکھنے سے منع فرمایا ہے۔
Ziyad bin Jubair kehte hain ki maine ek aadmi ko Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ki khidmat mein hazir ho kar yeh sawal puchte huye dekha ki maine yeh mannat maan rakhi hai ki main falan din roza rakha karoon ga, ab agar falan din Eid-ul-Adha ya Eid-ul-Fitr aa jaye to kya karoon? Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ne farmaya ki Allah ne mannat puri karne ka hukum diya hai aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne hamen Yaum-un-Nahr (Dus Zee al-Hijjah) ka roza rakhne se mana farmaya hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade eating two dates together without the permission of one's companions.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے اپنے ساتھیوں کی اجازت کے بغیر ایک ساتھ دو کھجوریں کھانے سے منع فرمایا ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne apne saathiyon ki ijazat ke baghair ek saath do khajoorein khane se mana farmaya hai.
Saeed bin Jubair said: Once, in a street of Madinah, Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) passed by some people who had tied up a chicken and were practicing their archery on it. Upon seeing this, Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: “The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prohibited taking living creatures as targets."

سعید بن جبیر کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ مدینہ منورہ کے کسی راستے میں سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کچھ لوگوں کے پاس سے گزرے، دیکھا کہ انہوں نے ایک مرغی کو باندھ رکھا ہے اور اس پر اپنا نشانہ درست کر رہے ہیں، اس پر سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے فرمایا: رسول اللہ ﷺ نے جانور کا مثلہ کرنے سے منع فرمایا ہے۔
Saeed bin Jubair kehte hain ki ek martaba Madina Munawwara ke kisi raaste mein Sayyiduna Ibn Umar Radi Allahu anhuma kuch logon ke paas se guzre, dekha ki unhon ne ek murgi ko bandh rakha hai aur is par apna nishana durust kar rahe hain, is par Sayyiduna Ibn Umar Radi Allahu anhuma ne farmaya: Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne jaanwar ka misl banana se mana farmaya hai.
