Zaid bin Aslam (may Allah have mercy on him) said that a man asked Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) about the sale by auction. He replied that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade a person from bidding on his brother's sale except for spoils of war or inheritance.

زید بن اسلم رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک آدمی نے سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے نیلامی کی بیع کے متعلق سوال پوچھا، انہوں نے فرمایا کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے اس بات سے منع فرمایا ہے کہ کوئی شخص اپنے بھائی کی بیع پر بیع کرے سوائے مال غنیمت کے یا مال وراثت کے۔

Abdullah bin Shaqiq (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I once asked Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) about the night prayer, and he said: "A man once asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about the night prayer while I was between them, and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: 'Pray two rak'ahs at a time, and when you fear the approach of dawn, then pray one rak'ah to make it witr. And pray two rak'ahs before the Fajr prayer.”

عبداللہ بن شقیق رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نے سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے رات کی نماز کے متعلق پوچھا، تو انہوں نے فرمایا کہ ایک مرتبہ ایک شخص نے نبی ﷺ سے رات کی نماز سے متعلق پوچھا جبکہ میں ان دونوں کے درمیان تھا، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”تم دو دو رکعت کر کے نماز پڑھا کرو اور جب صبح ہو جانے کا اندیشہ ہو تو ان دو کے ساتھ ایک رکعت اور ملا لو اور دو رکعتیں نماز فجر سے پہلے پڑھ لیا کرو۔“
Abdullah bin Shaqiq rehmatullah alaih kahte hain ke aik martaba maine Sayyidina Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se raat ki namaz ke mutalliq poocha, to unhon ne farmaya ke aik martaba aik shakhs ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se raat ki namaz ke mutalliq poocha jabke main un dono ke darmiyan tha, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Tum do do rakat kar ke namaz parha karo aur jab subah ho jane ka andesha ho to un do ke sath aik rakat aur mila lo aur do rakatiyan namaz fajr se pehle parh liya karo."
It is narrated on the authority of Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man invoked the curse of Allah upon his wife in front of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and denied the paternity of her child. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) separated the two and gave the child to the mother.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک شخص نے نبی ﷺ کے سامنے اپنی بیوی سے لعان کیا اور اس کے بچے کی اپنی طرف نسبت کی نفی کی، نبی ﷺ نے ان دونوں کے درمیان تفریق کر ا دی اور بچے کو ماں کے حوالے کر دیا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki ek shakhs ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke samne apni biwi se lian kiya aur uske bacche ki apni taraf nisbat ki nafi ki, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne in donon ke darmiyan tafreeq kar di aur bacche ko maan ke hawale kar diya.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did Ramal between Hajr-e-Aswad to Hajr-e-Aswad.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے حجر اسود سے حجر اسود تک رمل کیا ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Hajar Aswad se Hajar Aswad tak raml kiya hai.
Wasi' bin Habban (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I asked Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) about how the Prophet's (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayer was. Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: He would say the takbir (Allahu Akbar) each time he bowed and raised his head, and he would say to his right, "Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah," and to his left, "Assalamu alaikum."

واسع بن حبان رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے پوچھا کہ نبی ﷺ کی نماز کیسی ہوتی تھی؟ سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے ہر مرتبہ سر جھکاتے اور اٹھاتے وقت تکبیر کا ذکر کیا اور دائیں جانب «السلام عليكم ورحمته الله» کا اور بائیں جانب «السلام عليكم» کا ذکر کیا۔
Wasi bin Hiban rehmatullah alaih kehte hain ke maine Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se poocha ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki namaz kaisi hoti thi? Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ne har martaba sar jhukate aur uthate waqt takbeer ka zikr kya aur dayen janib "Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi" ka aur bayen janib "Assalamu alaikum" ka zikr kya.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to go to Masjid Quba' on foot and riding.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ مسجد قباء پیدل بھی آتے تھے اور سوار ہو کر بھی۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Masjid Qaba paidal bhi aate the aur sawar hokar bhi.
Narrated by Ibn `Umar (May Allah be pleased with them both): The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Do not enter upon the punished ones (in their graves) while weeping, but if you do not weep then do not enter upon them. I fear that you may be overtaken by the torment that seized them."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”ان معذب اقوام پر روتے ہوئے داخل ہوا کرو، اگر تمہیں رونا نہ آتا ہو تو وہاں نہ جایا کرو کیونکہ مجھے اندیشہ ہے کہ تمہیں بھی وہ عذاب نہ آ پکڑے جو ان پر آیا تھا۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”In Mu'azzib qaumon per rote hue daakhil hua karo, agar tumhein rona na aata ho to wahan na jaya karo kyunki mujhe andesha hai ki tumhein bhi wo azab na aa pakde jo un per aaya tha”.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that there was a man from Quraysh who used to be cheated in business transactions. His situation was mentioned to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “When you deal with someone in buying or selling, you should say to him, ‘There is no deception in this transaction.” Since he had a speech impediment, instead of saying “La Khilaba” (no deception), he would say “La Khyaba.”

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ قریش کا ایک آدمی تھا جسے بیع میں لوگ دھوکہ دے دیتے تھے، نبی ﷺ کے سامنے اس کا تذکر ہ ہوا، تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”تم جس سے خرید و فروخت کیا کرو اس سے یوں کہہ لیا کرو کہ اس بیع میں کوئی دھوکہ نہیں ہے۔“ چونکہ اس کی زبان میں لکنت تھی لہٰذا وہ «لاخلابه» کے بجائے «لاخيابه» کہہ دیتا تھا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Quresh ka aik aadmi tha jise bay mein log dhoka de dete thay, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke samne iska tazkara hua, to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Tum jis se khareed o farokht kiya karo us se yun keh liya karo ki is bay mein koi dhoka nahi hai." Chूnki uski zaban mein luknat thi lihaza woh "lakhilaba" ke bajaey "lakhiaba" keh deta tha.
Abdullah bin Dinar (may Allah have mercy on him) said that Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) used to offer voluntary prayers while riding, regardless of the direction he was facing, and he would say that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) also used to do this while traveling.

عبداللہ بن دینار رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سواری پر نفل نماز پڑھ لیا کرتے تھے خواہ اس کا رخ کسی بھی سمت ہو اور بتاتے تھے کہ نبی ﷺ بھی سفر میں اس طرح کیا کرتے تھے۔

It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to wear a gold ring. One day the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) got up and threw it away, and said: "I will never wear this again." So the people also took off their rings.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ سونے کی انگوٹھی پہنتے تھے، ایک دن نبی ﷺ اٹھے اور اسے پھینک دیا اور فرمایا: ”آئندہ میں اسے کبھی نہیں پہنوں گا چنانچہ لوگوں نے بھی اپنی انگوٹھیاں اتار پھینکیں۔“
Sayyida Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ke Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) sone ki anguthi pehente thay, ek din Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) uthe aur usay phenk diya aur farmaya: "Aenda main isay kabhi nahin pehnoon ga chunache logon ne bhi apni anguthian utar phenkin."
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that once, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saw phlegm stuck in the direction of the Qibla in the mosque. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood up and cleaned it. Then he turned to the people and said: "When any one of you is in prayer, Allah is in front of his face. Therefore, none of you should blow his nose in front of his face during prayer."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے مسجد میں قبلہ کی جانب بلغم لگا ہوا دیکھا، نبی ﷺ نے کھڑے ہو کر اسے صاف کر دیا، پھر لوگوں کی طرف متوجہ ہو کر فرمایا: ”جب تم میں سے کوئی شخص نماز میں ہوتا ہے تو اللہ اس کے چہرے کے سامنے ہوتا ہے اس لئے تم میں سے کوئی شخص اپنی نماز میں اپنے چہرے کے سامنے ناک صاف نہ کرے۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne masjid mein qibla ki janib balgham laga hua dekha, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne kharay ho kar usay saaf kar diya, phir logon ki taraf mutawajjah ho kar farmaya: "Jab tum mein se koi shakhs namaz mein hota hai to Allah uske chehre ke samne hota hai is liye tum mein se koi shakhs apni namaz mein apne chehre ke samne naak saaf na kare."
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would assume the state of Ihram, he would use olive oil in which flowers had been infused without heating them.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ احرام باندھتے وقت زیتون کا وہ تیل استعمال فرماتے تھے جس میں پھول ڈال کر انہیں جوش نہ دیا گیا ہوتا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ehram bandhte waqt zaitoon ka woh tel istemaal farmate thy jis mein phool daal kar unhen josh nahi diya gaya hota.
Narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) offered the Fajr prayer and after finishing the prayer, he stood facing the direction of sunrise. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) pointed towards the East with his hand and said twice, "The turmoil/tribulations will emerge from here, from where the horn of Satan appears."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے فجر کی نماز پڑھی اور سلام پھیر کر سورج طلوع ہونے کے رخ پر کھڑے ہو کر آپ ﷺ نے اپنے ہاتھ سے مشرق کی طرف اشارہ کیا اور دو مرتبہ فرمایا: ”فتنہ یہاں سے ہو گا جہاں سے شیطان کا سینگ نکلتا ہے۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Fajr ki namaz parhi aur salam phir kar suraj talu hone ke rukh par kharay ho kar Aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne apne hath se mashriq ki taraf ishara kiya aur do martaba farmaya: "Fitna yahan se hoga jahan se shaitan ka sing nikalta hai."
Nafi' reported that Ibn 'Umar (Allah be pleased with them) was asked about the fast on the Day of 'Arafah, whereupon he said: I never saw Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) observing fast on this day, nor did I see Abu Bakr, or 'Umar, or 'Uthman (Allah be pleased with them) observing fast on this day.

نافع رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے یوم عرفہ کے روزے کے متعلق پوچھا گیا تو انہوں نے فرمایا کہ اس دن کا روزہ نبی ﷺ یا خلفاء ثلاثہ میں سے کسی نے نہیں رکھا۔
Nafi rahmatullah alaih kahte hain ke sayyidna Ibn Umar razi Allah anhuma se Yaum e Arafah ke roze ke mutalliq poocha gaya to unhon ne farmaya ke is din ka roza Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ya Khulafa e Salasa mein se kisi ne nahi rakha.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, allocated (on the occasion of the Battle of Khaybar) two shares for the horse and one share for the rider.

Abdullah bin Dinar (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) used to offer voluntary prayers while riding, no matter which direction he was facing, and he would say that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to do the same while traveling.

It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with them both) that one day the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) recited this verse on the pulpit: "And they esteem not Allah with the esteem due to Him; and the entire earth will be in His grip on the Day of Resurrection, and the heavens rolled up in His right hand. Glorified is He, and High is He above what they associate (with Him)." And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) began to move his hands back and forth, saying, "Allah Almighty will Himself describe His Greatness and will say, 'I am the Compeller, I am the Majestic, I am the King, I am the Dominant, I am the Generous.'" The narrator says, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) started trembling on the pulpit while saying these words, to the point that we feared that he might fall.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک دن نبی ﷺ نے منبر پر یہ آیت تلاوت فرمائی «وَمَا قَدَرُوا اللَّهَ حَقَّ قَدْرِهِ وَالْأَرْضُ جَمِيعًا قَبْضَتُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَالسَّمَوَاتُ مَطْوِيَّاتٌ بِيَمِينِهِ سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ» اور نبی ﷺ اپنے ہاتھوں کو آگے پیچھے لے جا کر حرکت دیتے ہوئے کہنے لگے کہ پروردگار اپنی بزرگی خود بیان کرے گا اور کہے کہ میں ہوں جبار، میں ہوں متکبر، میں ہوں بادشاہ، میں ہوں غالب، میں ہوں سخی یہ کہتے ہوئے نبی ﷺ منبر پر کانپنے لگے، یہاں تک کہ ہمیں اندیشہ ہونے لگا کہ کہیں نبی ﷺ نیچے ہی نہ گر جائیں۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki aik din Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mimbar par yeh ayat tilawat farmaee "Wa ma qadarullaha haqqa qadrihi wal arzu jamee'an qabzatuhu yawma alqiyamati wa alssamawatu matwiyyatun biyaminihi subhanahu wa ta'ala 'amma yushrikun." Aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) apne hathon ko aage peeche le ja kar harkat dete hue kehne lage ki Parvardigaar apni bazurgi khud bayaan karega aur kahe ki main hun Jabbar, main hun Mutakabbir, main hun Badshah, main hun Ghaalib, main hun Sakhi. Yeh kehte hue Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) mimbar par kaampne lage, yahan tak ki humein andeshah hone laga ki kahin Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) neeche hi na gir jayen.
Thabit Rahimahullah said: I asked Sayyidina Ibn Umar Radi Allahu Anhuma about the utensils, so he said that the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam forbade those utensils (which were used for extracting alcohol).

ثابت رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں میں نے سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے برتنوں کے متعلق پوچھا، تو انہوں نے فرمایا کہ نبی ﷺ نے ان برتنوں سے منع فرمایا ہے (جو شراب کشید کرنے کے لئے استعمال ہوتے تھے)۔
Saboot rehmatullah alaih kehte hain mainne Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se bartanoun ke mutalliq poocha to unhonne farmaya keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne in bartanoun se mana farmaya hai jo sharaab kashid karne ke liye istemaal hote thay.
Urawa bin Zubair (may Allah have mercy on him) asked Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), "Did the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) perform Umrah in the month of Rajab?" He replied, "Yes!" Urawa mentioned this to Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), and she said, "May Allah have mercy on Abu Abdur Rahman (Ibn Umar). Every Umrah that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performed, he (Ibn Umar) accompanied him in it, (but he has forgotten that) the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) never performed Umrah in Rajab."

عروہ بن زبیر رحمہ اللہ نے سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے پوچھا کہ کیا نبی ﷺ نے ماہ رجب میں عمرہ کیا ہے؟ انہوں نے جواب دیا، ہاں! عروہ نے یہ بات سیدہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کو بتائی تو انہوں نے فرمایا: اللہ ابو عبدالرحمن پر رحم فرمائے، نبی ﷺ نے جو عمرہ بھی کیا وہ نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ اس میں شریک رہے ہیں (لیکن یہ بھول گئے کہ) نبی ﷺ نے رجب میں کبھی عمرہ نہیں کیا۔
Urwa bin Zubair RA ne Sayyidna Ibn Umar RA se poocha ke kya Nabi SAW ne mah Rajab mein Umrah kiya hai? Unhon ne jawab diya, haan! Urwa ne ye baat Sayyida Ayesha RA ko batai to unhon ne farmaya: Allah Abu Abdur Rahman par reham farmaye, Nabi SAW ne jo Umrah bhi kiya wo Nabi SAW ke sath us mein sharik rahe hain (laikin ye bhool gaye ke) Nabi SAW ne Rajab mein kabhi Umrah nahi kiya.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that I have preserved from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) ten rak'ahs: two rak'ahs before the Zuhr prayer and two rak'ahs after it, two rak'ahs after the Maghrib prayer, two rak'ahs after the Isha prayer, and two rak'ahs before the Fajr prayer.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ سے دس رکعتیں محفوظ کی ہیں ظہر کی نماز سے قبل دو رکعتیں اور اس کے بعد دو رکعتیں نیز مغرب کے بعد دو رکعتیں اور عشاء کے بعد بھی دو رکعتیں اور دو رکعتیں نماز فجر سے پہلے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se das rakatten mahfooz ki hain Zuhar ki namaz se pehle do rakatten aur uske baad do rakatten neez Maghrib ke baad do rakatten aur Isha ke baad bhi do rakatten aur do rakatten namaz Fajar se pehle.
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Messenger of Allah, (ﷺ), said: "The seller and the buyer have the right of option so long as they have not separated, or one of them has not said to the other: 'Make up your mind."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”بائع (بچنے والا) اور مشتری (خریدنے والا اور بیچنے والا) کو اس وقت تک اختیار رہتا ہے جب تک وہ جدا نہ ہو جائیں یا یہ کہ ان دونوں میں سے ایک دوسرے سے کہہ دے کہ اختیار کر لو۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: "Bayi (bechne wala) aur mushتري (kharidne wala aur bechne wala) ko us waqt tak ikhtiyar rehta hai jab tak woh juda na ho jayen ya ye keh un donon mein se ek dusre se keh de ke ikhtiyar kar lo."
Mus'ab bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that once, Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) went to visit Abdullah ibn Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) while he was ill. Ibn Amir said to him, "Why don't you pray for me?". Ibn Umar replied, "I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying that Allah Almighty does not accept the charity from stolen wealth, nor does He accept prayer without purification, and you were once the governor of Basra".

مصعب بن سعد رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما ابن عامر کے پاس ان کی بیمار پرسی کے لئے آئے، ابن عامر نے ان سے کہا کہ آپ میرے لئے دعاء کیوں نہیں فرماتے؟ سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے فرمایا کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ مال غنیمت میں سے چوری کی ہوئی چیز کا صدقہ قبول نہیں کرتا اور نہ ہی طہارت کے بغیر نماز قبول کرتا ہے اور تم بصرہ کے گورنر رہ چکے ہو۔
Musab bin Saad rahmatullah alaih kehte hain ke ek martaba Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a Ibn Aamir ke paas un ki bimaar pursi ke liye aaye, Ibn Aamir ne un se kaha ke aap mere liye dua kyon nahin farmate? Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ne farmaya ke maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ye farmate huye suna hai ke Allah Ta'ala mal e ghanimat mein se chori ki hui cheez ka sadqa qubool nahin karta aur na hi taharat ke baghair namaz qubool karta hai aur tum Basra ke governor reh chuke ho.
Abu Najeh said that once a person asked Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) about fasting on the day of Arafat. He replied, "I performed Hajj with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) but he did not fast on this day. I performed Hajj with Sayyiduna Abu Bakr, Sayyiduna Umar, and Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with them) but they also did not fast on this day. I neither fast on this day, nor do I command it, nor do I forbid it. So, if you wish, you may fast on this day, and if you do not wish, then do not fast."

ابونجیح کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ کسی نے سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے عرفہ کے دن روزہ رکھنے کی متعلق پوچھا، تو انہوں نے فرمایا کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کے ساتھ حج کیا، لیکن انہوں نے اس دن کا روزہ نہیں رکھا، میں نے سیدنا ابوبکر سیدنا عمر اور سیدنا عثمان رضی اللہ عنہم کے ساتھ حج کیا، لیکن انہوں نے بھی اس دن کا روزہ نہ رکھا، میں اس دن کا روزہ رکھتا ہوں اور نہ حکم دیتا ہوں اور نہ منع کرتا ہوں، اس لئے اگر تمہاری مرضی ہو تو وہ روزہ رکھ لو، نہ ہو تو نہ رکھو۔
AbuNajeh kehte hain ke ek martaba kisi ne Sayyidina Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se Arafah ke din roza rakhne ki mutalliq poocha, to unhon ne farmaya ke maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath Hajj kiya, lekin unhon ne is din ka roza nahi rakha, maine Sayyidina Abu Bakar Sayyidina Umar aur Sayyidina Usman (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke sath Hajj kiya, lekin unhon ne bhi is din ka roza na rakha, main is din ka roza rakhta hun aur na hukm deta hun aur na mana karta hun, is liye agar tumhari marzi ho to wo roza rakh lo, na ho to na rakho.
Once, Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) saw a man playing during prayer. Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said to him: "Do not play in prayer, for it is the work of Satan, and do as the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to do." The narrator says that then Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) placed his left hand on his left knee and his right hand on his right knee and began to point with his finger.

ایک مرتبہ سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے ایک آدمی کو دوران نماز کھیلتے ہوئے دیکھا، سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے اس سے فرمایا: نماز میں مت کھیلو کیونکہ یہ شیطانی کام ہے اور اسی طرح کرو جیسے نبی ﷺ کرتے تھے۔ راوی کہتے ہیں کہ پھر سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے بایاں ہاتھ بائیں گھٹنے پر اور دایاں ہاتھ دائیں گھٹنے پر رکھ لیا اور انگلی سے اشارہ کرنے لگے۔
Ek martaba Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ne ek aadmi ko dauran namaz khelte huye dekha, Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ne us se farmaya: Namaz mein mat khelo kyonki yeh shaitani kaam hai aur isi tarah karo jaise Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) karte thay. Ravi kehte hain ki phir Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ne baayan haath baayen ghutne par aur daayan haath daayen ghutne par rakh liya aur ungli se ishara karne lage.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “There is no validity in giving land (as a gift) until one's death or for a lifetime. Whoever is given such land, it will be his in life and after death."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”کسی کی موت تک یا عمر بھر کے لئے کوئی زمین دینے کی کوئی حیثیت نہیں، جسے ایسی زمین دی گئی ہو وہ زندگی اور موت کے بعد بھی اسی کی ہو گی۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Kisi ki mout tak ya umar bhar ke liye koi zameen dene ki koi haisiyat nahin, jise aisi zameen di gayi ho woh zindagi aur mout ke baad bhi usi ki ho gi.“
Sabit (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I asked Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), "Did the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbid [drinking] nabidh from a jar?" He said, "Yes, that's what the people say."

ثابت رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے پوچھا، کیا نبی ﷺ نے مٹکے کی نبیذ سے منع فرمایا ہے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا: ہاں، لوگ یہی کہتے ہیں۔
Sabit rehmatullah alaih kehte hain ki maine Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se poocha, kya Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne matke ki nabidh se mana farmaya hai? Unhon ne farmaya: Haan, log yahi kehte hain.
Narrated by Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Bilal gives the Adhan (call to prayer) at night, so continue to eat and drink until Ibn Umm Maktum gives the Adhan."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”بلال رات ہی کو اذان دے دیتے ہیں اس لئے جب تک ابن ام مکتوم اذان نہ دے دیں تم کھاتے پیتے رہو۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Bilal raat hi ko azan de dete hain is liye jab tak Ibn Umm Maktum azan na de den tum khate peete raho.“
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Do not let two men whisper to one another, (when you are three), leaving out the third.”

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”(جب تم تین آدمی ہو تو) تیسرے کو چھوڑ کر دو آدمی سرگوشی نہ کرنے لگا کرو۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: "(Jab tum teen aadmi ho to) teesre ko chhod kar do aadmi sargosi na karne laga karo."
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever buys grain, let him not sell it until he takes possession of it.”

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جو شخص غلہ خریدے تو اس پر قبضہ کرنے سے پہلے اسے آگے فروخت نہ کرے۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: "Jo shakhs ghala kharede to us par qabza karne se pehle use aage farokht na kare."
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade wearing clothes dyed with saffron or wars during Muharram. And he said, "If one does not find shoes in Muharram, then he should wear socks but cut off the portion below the ankles."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے محرم کو زعفران یا ورس سے رنگے ہوئے کپڑے پہننے سے منع کیا ہے اور ارشاد فرمایا: ”اگر محرم کو جوتے نہ ملیں تو وہ موزے ہی پہن لے لیکن ٹخنوں سے نیچے کا حصہ کاٹ لے۔“
Saina Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasulullah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne muharram ko zaafran ya wars se range hue kapre pehenne se mana kya hai aur irshad farmaya: ”Agar muharram ko joote na milen to wo moze hi pehen le lekin takhno se neeche ka hissa kaat le.”
Narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both), that once I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) pointing with his hand towards the East and saying twice: "Fitnah (tribulation) will arise from here, from where the horn of Satan emerges."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو دیکھا کہ آپ ﷺ نے اپنے ہاتھ سے مشرق کی طرف اشارہ کیا اور دو مرتبہ فرمایا:”فتنہ یہاں سے ہو گا جہاں سے شیطان کا سینگ نکلتا ہے۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki ek martaba maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko dekha ki aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne apne hath se mashriq ki taraf ishara kiya aur do martaba farmaya: "Fitna yahan se hoga jahan se shaitan ka sing nikalta hai."
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade making wine in earthen pots, gourds, and tanned skins. He, however, permitted making it in leather bags.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے مٹکے، دباء اور مزفت سے منع کیا ہے اور مشکیزوں میں نبیذ بنانے کی اجازت دی ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne matke, diba aur muzfat se mana kya hai aur mashkizon mein nabiz banane ki ijazat di hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that a person asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about Laylat al-Qadr. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Seek it in the last seven nights."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ سے کسی شخص نے شب قدر کے متعلق پوچھا، تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ اسے آخری سات راتوں میں تلاش کیا کرو۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se kisi shakhs ne Shab e Qadr ke mutalliq poocha, to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki ise aakhri saat raaton mein talaash kiya karo.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “If a Muhrim does not find shoes, then he should wear socks, but he should cut off the part below the ankles.”

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا:”اگر محرم کو جوتے نہ ملیں تو وہ موزے ہی پہن لے لیکن ٹخنوں سے نیچے کا حصہ کاٹ لے۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya agar muharram ko joote na milen to wo moze hi pehen le lekin takhno se neeche ka hissa kaat le.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that I have memorized ten rak'ahs of Sunnah prayer that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would regularly perform: two rak'ahs before the Zuhr prayer and two rak'ahs after it, two rak'ahs after the Maghrib prayer, and two rak'ahs after the 'Isha' prayer, and two rak'ahs before the Fajr prayer.

Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se das rakaten mehfooz ki hain jin par Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) dawaam farmate thay, Zuhr ki namaz se pehle do rakat aur iske baad do rakat, niz Maghrib ke baad do rakat aur Isha ke baad bhi do rakat aur do rakat namaz Fajr se pehle.
Once, Abdullah ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) divorced his wife while she was menstruating. Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) went to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and informed him about this. So, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Tell him to take her back, then if he still wants to divorce her, he should do so when she is pure (not menstruating)."

ایک مرتبہ سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے اپنی بیوی کو ایام کی حالت میں طلاق دے دی، سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے جا کر نبی ﷺ کو یہ بات بتائی، تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”اسے کہو کہ وہ اس سے رجوع کر لے، پھر اگر وہ اسے طلاق دینا ہی چاہے تو طہر کے دوران دے۔“
Ek martaba Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ne apni biwi ko ayyam ki halat mein talaq de di, Sayyidna Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne ja kar Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko yeh baat batai, to Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Use kaho ke wo us se ruju kar le, phir agar wo use talaq dena hi chahe to tahur ke dauran de."
Anas bin Sirin said: Once, Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) divorced his wife while she was menstruating. Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) mentioned this to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), so he said: "Tell him to take his wife back, and when she is clean, then he may divorce her during a time of purity." I asked, "Did you consider the divorce that he issued during her period as valid?" He said, "Why should it not be considered?"

انس بن سرین کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے اپنی بیوی کو ایام کی حالت میں طلاق دے دی، سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے نبی ﷺ سے اس کا تذکر ہ کیا، تو انہوں نے فرمایا: ”اسے کہو کہ اپنی بیوی سے رجوع کر لے، جب وہ پاک ہو جائے تو اس کو ایام طہارت میں اسے طلاق دے دے۔“ میں نے پوچھا کہ کیا آپ نے وہ طلاق شمار کی تھی جو ایام کی حالت میں دی تھی؟ انہوں نے کہا کہ اسے شمار نہ کرنے کیا وجہ تھی؟
Ans bin Sirin kehte hain ki ek martaba Sayyidna Ibn Umar Radi Allahu anhuma ne apni biwi ko ayyam ki halat mein talaq de di, Sayyidna Umar Radi Allahu anhu ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se iska tazkira kiya, to unhon ne farmaya: “Ise kaho ki apni biwi se ruju kar le, jab wo pak ho jaye to isko ayyam e taharat mein use talaq de de.” Maine poocha ki kya aap ne wo talaq shumar ki thi jo ayyam ki halat mein di thi? Unhon ne kaha ki use shumar na karne ki kya wajah thi?.
Jabalah said that Abdullah bin Zubair, may Allah be pleased with him, used to give us dates to eat. In those days, people were facing extreme hardship. One day we were eating dates when Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, passed by us and said, "Do not eat many dates together at one time, because the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, forbade eating many dates without the permission of his brother."

جبلہ کہتے ہیں کہ سیدنا عبداللہ بن زبیر رضی اللہ عنہ ہمیں کھانے کے لئے کھجور دیا کرتے تھے، اس زمانے میں لوگ انتہائی مشکلات کا شکار تھے، ایک دن ہم کھجوریں کھا رہے تھے کہ سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما ہمارے پاس سے گزرے اور فرمانے لگے کہ ایک وقت میں کئی کئی کھجوریں اکٹھی مت کھاؤ کیونکہ نبی ﷺ نے اپنے بھائی کی اجازت کے بغیر کئی کھجوریں کھانے سے منع فرمایا ہے۔
Jabala kehte hain ke Sayyidna Abdullah bin Zubair (رضي الله تعالى عنه) humein khane ke liye khajoor diya karte thay, us zamane mein log intehai mushkilat ka shikar thay, ek din hum khajooren kha rahe thay ke Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a humare paas se guzre aur farmane lage ke ek waqt mein kai kai khajooren ikatthi mat khao kyunki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne apne bhai ki ijazat ke baghair kai khajooren khane se mana farmaya hai.
Safwan bin Mahriz (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Once, while I was holding the hand of Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), a man approached us and asked, "What have you heard from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) regarding the private conversation between Allah and His servants on the Day of Judgment?" Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) replied, "I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying that Allah will bring a believing servant close to Him, cover him with His veil, concealing him from the sight of others, and then He will make him confess his sins. Allah will ask, 'Do you remember such and such sin?' When he confesses all his sins and thinks he is doomed, Allah will say, 'I concealed your sins in the world, and today I forgive you.' Then his record of deeds will be given to him. As for the disbelievers and hypocrites, witnesses will testify, 'These are the ones who used to deny their Lord.' Beware! Allah's curse is upon the wrongdoers.

صفوان بن محرز رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نے سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما کا ہاتھ پکڑا ہوا تھا، ایک آدمی آ کر کہنے لگا کہ قیامت کے دن جو سرگوشی ہو گی، اس کے متعلق آپ نے نبی ﷺ سے کیا سنا ہے؟ سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے جواب دیا کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ ایک بندہ مومن کو اپنے قریب کر یں گے اور اس پر اپنی چادر ڈال کر اسے لوگوں کی نگاہوں سے مستور کر لیں گے اور اس سے اس کے گناہوں کا اقرار کروائیں گے اور اس سے فرمائیں گے کیا تجھے فلاں فلاں گناہ یاد ہے؟ جب وہ اپنے سارے گناہوں کا اقرار کر چکے گا اور اپنے دل میں یہ سوچ لے گا کہ اب تو وہ ہلاک ہو گیا، تو اللہ تعالیٰ اس سے فرمائیں گے میں نے دنیا میں تیری پردہ پوشی کی تھی اور آج تیری بخشش کرتا ہوں، پھر اسے اس کا نامہ اعمال دے دیا جائے گا، باقی رہے کفار اور منافقین تو گواہ کہیں گے کہ یہی وہ لوگ ہیں جو اپنے رب کی تکذیب کیا کرتے تھے، آگاہ رہو! ظالموں پر اللہ کی لعنت ہے۔
Safwan bin Muhariz rahmatullah alaih kahte hain ki aik martaba main ne Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ka hath pakra hua tha, aik aadmi a kar kahne laga ki qayamat ke din jo saragoshi ho gi, us ke mutalliq aap ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se kya suna hai? Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a ne jawab diya ki main ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai ki Allah ta'ala aik banda Momin ko apne qareeb karain ge aur us par apni chadar dal kar use logon ki nigaahon se mastur kar lain ge aur us se us ke gunahon ka iqrar karwain ge aur us se farmayenge kya tujhe falan falan gunah yaad hai? Jab woh apne sare gunahon ka iqrar kar chuke ga aur apne dil mein ye soch le ga ki ab to woh halak ho gaya, to Allah ta'ala us se farmayenge main ne duniya mein teri pardah poshi ki thi aur aaj teri بخشش karta hun, phir use us ka namah aamal de diya jaye ga, baqi rahe kuffar aur munafiqeen to gawah kahenge ki yahi woh log hain jo apne Rab ki takzeeb kiya karte the, agah raho! Zalimon par Allah ki laanat hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Whoever can die in Madinah, let him do so, for I will intercede for whoever dies in it."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جو شخص مدینہ میں مر سکتا ہو، اسے ایسا ہی کرنا چاہئے کیونکہ میں مدینہ میں مرنے والوں کی سفارش کروں گا۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: "Jo shakhs Madinah mein mar sakta ho, use aisa hi karna chahiye kyunki mein Madinah mein marne walon ki sifarish karunga."
Nafi' (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) saw a poor man, so he called him closer and placed food in front of him. The man ate a great deal. Upon seeing this, Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said to me, "Do not let him come to me again. I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying, 'The disbeliever eats in seven intestines.'"

نافع رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے ایک مسکین آدمی کو دیکھا، انہوں نے اسے قریب بلا کر اس کے آگے کھانا رکھا، وہ بہت سا کھانا کھا گیا، سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما نے یہ دیکھ کر مجھ سے فرمایا: آئندہ یہ میرے پاس نہ آئے، میں نے نبی ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ کافر سات آنتوں میں کھاتا ہے۔
Nafey rehmatullah alaih kehte hain ke Sayyidna Ibn Umar razi Allah anhuma ne aik miskeen aadmi ko dekha, unhon ne use qareeb bula kar uske aage khana rakha, woh bohat sa khana kha gaya, Sayyidna Ibn Umar razi Allah anhuma ne ye dekh kar mujh se farmaya: Aayinda ye mere pass na aaye, maine Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai ke kafir saat aanton mein khata hai.
It was narrated from Sayyidina Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever lets his garment drag (out of pride), Allah will not look at him with mercy on the Day of Resurrection.”

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”جو شخص تکبر کی وجہ سے اپنے کپڑے گھسیٹتا ہوا چلتا ہے (کپڑے زمین پر گھستے جاتے ہیں) اللہ قیامت کے دن اس پر نظر رحم نہ فرمائے گا۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: ”Jo shakhs takabbur ki wajah se apne kapre ghaseetta hua chalta hai (kapre zameen par ghaste jate hain) Allah qayamat ke din us par nazar-e-reham na farmaye ga“.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was asked about cow dung. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “I do not eat it, nor do I declare it forbidden.”

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ سے گوہ کے متعلق پوچھا گیا تو آپ ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”میں اسے کھاتا ہوں اور نہ ہی حرام قرار دیتا ہوں۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se goh ke mutalliq pucha gaya to aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "main ise khata hun aur na hi haram qarar deta hun."
It is narrated from Sayyidina Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with both of them, that when the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, passed by the people of Thamud, he said: “Enter upon these punished nations weeping. If you cannot weep, then do not enter upon them, for I fear that you may be afflicted with the same punishment that befell them.”

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ جب قوم ثمود کے قریب سے گزرے تو آپ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”ان معذب اقوام پر روتے ہوئے داخل ہوا کرو، اگر تمہیں رونا نہ آتا ہو تو وہاں نہ جایا کرو، کیونکہ مجھے اندیشہ ہے کہ تمہیں بھی وہ عذاب نہ آ پکڑے جو ان پر آیا تھا۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasool Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) jab qoum samood ke qareeb se guzare to aap (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: In muazzab aqwam par rote hue daakhil hua karo, agar tumhein rona na ata ho to wahan na jaya karo, kyunki mujhe andesha hai ki tumhein bhi wo azab na aa pakde jo un par aya tha.
Narrated by Ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that once 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), "Sometimes I become sexually impure at night. Should I perform ghusl (ritual bath)?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Perform wudu (ablution) and wash your private parts, then you may sleep."

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ سیدنا عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے نبی ﷺ سے عرض کیا کہ بعض اوقات رات کو ان پر غسل واجب ہو جاتا ہے؟ نبی ﷺ نے ان سے فرمایا کہ وضو کر لیا کرو اور شرمگاہ کو دھو کر سو جایا کرو۔
Sayidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki aik martaba Sayidna Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se arz kiya ke baaz auqat raat ko un par ghusl wajib ho jata hai? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne un se farmaya ke wuzu kar liya karo aur sharamgah ko dho kar so jaya karo.
Narrated by Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever seeks Laylat al-Qadr, let him seek it in the last ten days, and if he is overwhelmed by it or becomes weak, then let him not be overcome in the last seven nights.”

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”شب قدر کو تلاش کرنے والا اسے آخری عشرے میں تلاش کرے، اگر اس سے عاجز آ جائے یا کمزور ہو جائے تو آخری سات راتوں پر مغلوب نہ ہو۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Shab e Qadr ko talash karne wala ise aakhri ashray mein talash kare, agar is se aajiz aa jaye ya kamzor ho jaye to aakhri saat raaton par maghloob na ho."
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) did ramal (walking with short, hurried steps) in the first three circuits of Tawaf around the Kaaba.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے خانہ کعبہ کے گرد طواف کے پہلے تین چکروں میں رمل کیا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Khan e Kaaba ke gird tawaaf ke pehle teen chakro mein ramal kya.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade the selling of fruits before they ripen.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے پکنے سے قبل پھلوں کی بیع سے منع فرمایا ہے۔
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne pakne se pehle phalon ki be se mana farmaya hai.
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyidina Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There are no days more beloved to Allah in which righteous deeds are done than these ten days of Dhul-Hijjah.” The companions asked, “Not even Jihad in the path of Allah?” He said, “Not even Jihad in the path of Allah, except a man who goes out for Jihad with his life and wealth and returns with nothing.” (Reported by Al-Bukhari)

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”عشرہ ذی الحجہ سے بڑھ کر کوئی دن اللہ کی نگاہوں میں معظم نہیں اور نہ ہی ان کے علاوہ کسی اور دن میں اعمال اتنے زیادہ پسند ہیں اس لئے ان دونوں میں تہلیل و تکبیر اور تحمید کی کثرت کیا کرو۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Umar ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: "Ashra Zil Hajj se badh kar koi din Allah ki nigahon mein moazzam nahin aur na hi in ke ilawa kisi aur din mein amal itne zyada pasand hain is liye in donon mein tahleel o takbeer aur tahmeed ki kasrat kiya karo."
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to offer voluntary prayers on his riding animal, facing whichever direction it was going.

سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ اپنی سواری پر نفل نماز پڑھ لیا کرتے تھے خواہ اس کا رخ کسی بھی سمت ہو۔
